- 0:40Speaker 1: Glad to have you with us for another week. As
- 0:43Speaker 1: portued of the program were brought to you by Reliant Dentistry.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Coming up, we're going to preview the NCAA Basketball Championship
- 0:54Speaker 1: tonight from Indianapolis. We will have that game for you, begetting,
- 0:59Speaker 1: I believe, right at six o'clock. When we're done this
- 1:02Speaker 1: evening with the pregame. The tip off's not till close
- 1:06Speaker 1: to eight o'clock. We're gonna talk about some Aggie baseball,
- 1:12Speaker 1: and I know most of you tune in to hear
- 1:14Speaker 1: Spring football as I am mister Spring and you know
- 1:19Speaker 1: we'll be doing some of that couple of programming notes.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Tomorrow we're out at five point forty five. The Aggies
- 1:29Speaker 1: are in San Marcus to play Texas State. I don't
- 1:36Speaker 1: know about you, but I miss Ralph the diving Pig.
- 1:39Speaker 1: If you don't know what I'm talking about, you can
- 1:41Speaker 1: look that up. So Wednesday, we don't have a show.
- 1:50Speaker 1: We've got Astros baseball Wednesday afternoon. Okay, Thursday, Jared and
- 1:59Speaker 1: Jason are here. All right. Jared wants to talk about
- 2:07Speaker 1: the Masters, and I said, hey, I'm a Masters guy,
- 2:11Speaker 1: go for it. So Thursday Jared and Jason Friday, Ryan Kirk, Poles, etc.
- 2:22Speaker 1: And next Monday we've got Astros baseball. So a couple
- 2:32Speaker 1: afternoon games early in the season. That's okay. Will will survive.
- 2:37Speaker 1: I'm just giving you a warning ahead of time. All right,
- 2:43Speaker 1: let's do this. Michigan U COD tonight National Championship Gabe.
- 2:49Speaker 1: The Wolverines are six and a half point favorites six
- 2:55Speaker 1: and a half point favorites. North Carolina has a new
- 2:59Speaker 1: basketball coach. Multiple media sources are reporting they're going to
- 3:04Speaker 1: hire Michael Malone, who won five hundred and ten games
- 3:10Speaker 1: as an NBA coach and was fired after winning the
- 3:13Speaker 1: championship with the Denver Nuggets because he and the general
- 3:16Speaker 1: manager did not get along. Malone last coached college in
- 3:23Speaker 1: two thousand and one when he was an assistant from
- 3:27Speaker 1: Manhattan University. It'll be interesting to see several people turned
- 3:35Speaker 1: down the job Tommy Lloyd did at Arizona, Dustin May
- 3:41Speaker 1: at Michigan, Billy Donovan with the Bulls, among others. Adam
- 3:50Speaker 1: right handed pitcher Aden Simms SEC Pitcher of the Week.
- 3:55Speaker 1: He's been pretty good. He had a complet le game
- 4:00Speaker 1: seven innings, had struck out eight, allowed just three hits
- 4:06Speaker 1: in the run rule game against Vanderbilt on Friday. That
- 4:13Speaker 1: was Game two. Remember they pushed the game around, which
- 4:17Speaker 1: is why we had an abbreviated show on Friday and
- 4:20Speaker 1: again next action tomorrow night in San Marcos. The Aggies
- 4:28Speaker 1: actually took two out of three from the doors. They
- 4:33Speaker 1: are now seven and five of the SEC twenty five
- 4:36Speaker 1: and six over all. Astros and Rangers, both in action,
- 4:43Speaker 1: both trying to win. The Astros can't beat Oakland. The
- 4:50Speaker 1: Rangers host Seattle, and they really can't beat Seattle, and
- 4:56Speaker 1: apparently they can't beat Cincinnati either, having been swept over
- 4:59Speaker 1: the weekend Act Globe Life, scoring four runs in three games.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Astro fans, I kind of hate this for you. I
- 5:12Speaker 1: don't really hate this for you. But Hunter Brown's on
- 5:15Speaker 1: the fifteen day il because of a right shoulder strain.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Christian Rowa has been recalled from Triple A. Jordan Alvarez
- 5:25Speaker 1: has been named the AL Player of the Week. He
- 5:29Speaker 1: had four to seventy one, three homers, two doubles, eight Ribbi's,
- 5:36Speaker 1: seven runs scored, and a slugging on ops of seventeen
- 5:41Speaker 1: thirty three. That's pretty good. If you're like me, you
- 5:47Speaker 1: were wondering when Mike Trout was going to get hurt
- 5:50Speaker 1: because we've played like six games in the season. Well,
- 5:57Speaker 1: I don't know if you saw this or not, but
- 5:59Speaker 1: the Angels Joe Adell stole a game this weekend when
- 6:08Speaker 1: he robs Seattle of three home runs, three over the
- 6:13Speaker 1: wall catches. Trout was hit in the hand in the
- 6:20Speaker 1: ninth inning, left the game. X rays were negative, so
- 6:29Speaker 1: he's listed as day to day, as are we all masters.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Odds from draft Gicks. Scotti Scheffler is the favorite heading
- 6:41Speaker 1: into the opening round on Thursday at twenty two to five.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Those are weird odds. John Ram at nine to one.
- 6:50Speaker 1: He's moved up the list. Rory is eleven to one
- 6:54Speaker 1: with dis Chambo. Ludwig Oberg is seventeen to one, Xander
- 7:01Speaker 1: Schoffley is eighteen to one. Former champs Jordan Speith, Patrick
- 7:07Speaker 1: Reid Jordan's forty three to one, Patrick Reed's forty four
- 7:11Speaker 1: to one, and Jason Day continues to ruffle feathers at
- 7:17Speaker 1: Augusta with his clothing choices. Last year he was told
- 7:22Speaker 1: to tone it down. He left Nike early last two
- 7:28Speaker 1: years ago to join Malboond Golf and has reportedly been
- 7:34Speaker 1: asked to make some alterations to his choices. Day was
- 7:40Speaker 1: spotted with the Birds of Georgia collection on Monday. It
- 7:47Speaker 1: was to include matching pants Sports Illustrated and said Augusta
- 7:53Speaker 1: nixed that Idea asked him to wear solid colored pants.
- 7:59Speaker 1: This like Wimble and right when you have to wear
- 8:01Speaker 1: white are used to the Other tops include practice rounds
- 8:06Speaker 1: or one with a bird watcher themed vest. Hey, what's
- 8:10Speaker 1: wrong with the bird vest? I'm just saying And the
- 8:16Speaker 1: Dallas Stars have banned a fan from the American Airline
- 8:20Speaker 1: Center after an internal investigation in a group of fans
- 8:25Speaker 1: performing what appeared to be a Nazi salute at a
- 8:28Speaker 1: home game last December. The action comes a week after
- 8:32Speaker 1: a video of the fans was widely circulated on the
- 8:36Speaker 1: social media. The Stars did not name the fan. They
- 8:44Speaker 1: were only able to identify the fan who bought tickets,
- 8:47Speaker 1: but not the others in the video. We identified and
- 8:51Speaker 1: spoke with the individual. Will be banning him in definitely
- 8:55Speaker 1: from American Airline Center. We're increasing in arena me regarding
- 9:01Speaker 1: fan code contact. The eighteen second video was first posted
- 9:06Speaker 1: on Reddit, shows a group of men sitting in the
- 9:12Speaker 1: upper deck making the gesture to the rhythm of Pantera,
- 9:18Speaker 1: which is the theme song when the Stars score a goal.
- 9:22Speaker 1: The user who posted the video wrote, these boys were
- 9:25Speaker 1: sitting in front of us doing a Nazi salute every
- 9:29Speaker 1: time the Stars scored. I've been to several games, never
- 9:33Speaker 1: seen anything like this before. I recorded them, send it
- 9:37Speaker 1: to management, but they said they couldn't find the boys,
- 9:40Speaker 1: despite me giving them their exact seat numbers. Well, they
- 9:45Speaker 1: found one of them again. There's got to be more
- 9:51Speaker 1: to this.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Story.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I would never go to a hockey game expecting to
- 9:58Speaker 1: give a Nazi loot when a goal was scored. I
- 10:02Speaker 1: have no idea what that's about. Anyway, that's that. Tomorrow
- 10:13Speaker 1: we will have postgame react from the National Championship game.
- 10:18Speaker 1: We will have more spring football. We'll have Mallory tomorrow.
- 10:28Speaker 1: And that's it for me for the week. So I
- 10:35Speaker 1: guess I better try harder today and tomorrow than normal,
- 10:42Speaker 1: and we will attempt to do that. We'll take a break.
- 10:46Speaker 1: This portion of the show is brought to you by
- 10:48Speaker 1: Chad Jones Law.
- 10:50Speaker 4: I'm Chad Jones. We know sports injuries hurt, and so
- 10:53Speaker 4: do injuries from car recks. But you didn't sign up
- 10:56Speaker 4: to being a car wreck with someone who wasn't paying attention.
- 10:59Speaker 4: It was their fault, and now you're left to deal
- 11:01Speaker 4: with the consequences. You need to see a doctor, and
- 11:03Speaker 4: you're missing work. Chad Jones Law can help. We've been
- 11:06Speaker 4: helping our neighbors for more than two decades. Stop getting

- 11:20Speaker 5: The Louis Belina Show presented by cc.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Electric Sports Center Highlights.
- 11:25Speaker 6: No, I can't watch ESPN.
- 11:27Speaker 7: I watched social media. I don't watch ESPN like you
- 11:30Speaker 7: Twitter highlights. Come on, now you know me well, I
- 11:33Speaker 7: talking about that. I used to wake up. I used
- 11:35Speaker 7: to watch Sports Center every morning, every night. Like it's
- 11:37Speaker 7: you're the third person this week to say this exact
- 11:39Speaker 7: same state and what is going on and none of
- 11:40Speaker 7: us watching it anymore? Correct that go won't go broke.
- 11:43Speaker 8: And I don't want.
- 11:44Speaker 7: I try not to because I've said it enough that
- 11:47Speaker 7: I want to say. I've said down here several times.
- 11:49Speaker 6: I just don't want to be the guy in the
- 11:50Speaker 6: port you keep saying it.
- 11:51Speaker 7: I would have a Sports Center on in the background
- 11:53Speaker 7: all day and now you just I wouldn't won't turn
- 11:55Speaker 7: it on at all.
- 11:56Speaker 6: You have three people on Sports Center who you know
- 11:59Speaker 6: have never watched a game in their life because their personalities.
- 12:03Speaker 7: They're not never playing sports.
- 12:04Speaker 1: They're not people that study, they don't live it.
- 12:07Speaker 6: There there there's hidden their inte. They're influencers reading scripts.
- 12:11Speaker 6: That's what ESPN is now.
- 12:13Speaker 5: Hang out with Louis weekdays eleven to two and the
- 12:15Speaker 5: Z eleven and fifty AM and ninety three point seven
- 12:18Speaker 5: Air Firm.
- 12:30Speaker 9: Nevert a girl made.
- 12:50Speaker 10: Because your alcome.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Thanks for joining us here on a Monday edition. We've
- 13:05Speaker 1: got the writers round Table coming up in the second
- 13:09Speaker 1: hour of the program. Really disappointing games on Saturday, I
- 13:19Speaker 1: mean just really disappointing games. So hopeful tonight, very hopeful.
- 13:36Speaker 1: These two coaches that reach the championship are compelling. If
- 13:41Speaker 1: you've read anything about them and about their styles, they
- 13:46Speaker 1: are definitely teachers. Most great coaches are great teachers. They
- 13:52Speaker 1: certainly go about it differently. Dan Hurley is a wild man,
- 14:01Speaker 1: he admits freely to that. Dusty may kind of looks
- 14:08Speaker 1: a little bit more cerebral on the bench. But if
- 14:16Speaker 1: you've if you've read about their styles, they're they're very interesting.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Hurley is in his third Final four in four years,
- 14:26Speaker 1: including back to back Natties. Michigan is certainly the favorite,
- 14:33Speaker 1: but I don't I don't know if i'd put a
- 14:37Speaker 1: lot of money against Dan Hurley in this situation. I mean,
- 14:46Speaker 1: Michigan so far has been by a wide margin, the
- 14:50Speaker 1: best team in the tournament. But again, a guy who's
- 14:59Speaker 1: already won back the Back Natties and is making its
- 15:02Speaker 1: third appearance in four years. Hard to hard to go
- 15:08Speaker 1: against that. I'm not calling my shot, by the way,
- 15:11Speaker 1: not saying that. I just I would like to see
- 15:14Speaker 1: a close game. I'd like to see a competitive game.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Let's uh, let's hear first from the underdog Dan Hurley.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Yeah, just uh, you know, obviously the quick turnaround. Uh
- 15:32Speaker 3: you know, once I got out of mask this morning,
- 15:34Speaker 3: now it's uh, you know, preparing for Michigan, so obviously impressive, uh,
- 15:41Speaker 3: imposing team. Uh you know, obviously you know, a dominant team,
- 15:46Speaker 3: and uh you're just excited to be able to get
- 15:48Speaker 3: uh you have a chance to play for a championship
- 15:51Speaker 3: on Monday. Health Wise, we'll see how Silas kind of
- 15:54Speaker 3: comes out of that when last night and then just solo,
- 15:58Speaker 3: you'll see him. You know, he's in a boot. Took
- 16:00Speaker 3: some type of a footsprain, so I won't participate in
- 16:03Speaker 3: anything today and see how he's feeling tomorrow. So you'll
- 16:09Speaker 3: see the boot anyway, So I might as well tell you.
- 16:12Speaker 11: The boot is coming.
- 16:13Speaker 12: We're gonna go to the center of the room for Amanda.
- 16:17Speaker 13: I'm handa Christovich front office Sports last night you said
- 16:21Speaker 13: that someoney has to figure out why you're always losing
- 16:24Speaker 13: in the Big East.
- 16:26Speaker 14: How so, how has the Big East play prepared you
- 16:31Speaker 14: and the team for this run that you're on.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean when you get beyond, you know, beyond
- 16:40Speaker 3: what the metrics say, because so much of that is
- 16:45Speaker 3: determined by how well you play in a non conference schedule, right,
- 16:49Speaker 3: And I don't think in the you know, across the board,
- 16:52Speaker 3: we probably as a league haven't performed that great in
- 16:56Speaker 3: a non conference schedule, which is really hurt the net
- 16:59Speaker 3: and some the different metrics. But it's a grueling league.
- 17:03Speaker 3: It's round robin. Everyone knows you real well. The games
- 17:07Speaker 3: are officiated in a way where physicality and we get
- 17:15Speaker 3: moulled pretty good in Big East Play. So yeah, it
- 17:19Speaker 3: just it prepares you for the NCAA tournament. The games
- 17:23Speaker 3: are so brutal, the environment you play in again, the physicality,
- 17:29Speaker 3: the level of coaches. I mean, you got some of
- 17:30Speaker 3: the best coaches in the country in that league. So
- 17:34Speaker 3: you know, you go through a lot, and when you
- 17:36Speaker 3: go through a lot, that prepares you.
- 17:38Speaker 15: We're going to go to the third row center. Eddie
- 17:40Speaker 15: he coach Eddie Pel's from AP. I had a serious
- 17:44Speaker 15: one and a lesser one. The serious one is just
- 17:48Speaker 15: kind of we see how your roster is constructed, but
- 17:51Speaker 15: I was wondering about your sort of philosophy about using
- 17:54Speaker 15: the transfer portal. And then the other one just kind
- 17:58Speaker 15: of the status of your sports coat slash suit and
- 18:02Speaker 15: you know how many straight whatever you've worn that and
- 18:05Speaker 15: things like that.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Yeah, uh, I'm trying. The first question was, uh transfer portal. Yeah,
- 18:13Speaker 3: I mean we we would love to be a program
- 18:15Speaker 3: that uh majority is is homegrown boys. Uh, you know
- 18:19Speaker 3: high school players are recruit out of high school or
- 18:23Speaker 3: multi year transfers obviously there. You know, you you've got
- 18:28Speaker 3: situations where there's a cam spencer where you've got this
- 18:32Speaker 3: this huge need in the program that Jordan Hawkins leaves
- 18:36Speaker 3: as a sophomore, goes lottery, wins a national championship. Now boom,
- 18:39Speaker 3: you gotta you got to really fill a role that
- 18:41Speaker 3: you don't have a player that you're recruiting and developed
- 18:45Speaker 3: ready to step into. So yeah, I mean I think
- 18:48Speaker 3: for us, it's always we want to have a lot
- 18:52Speaker 3: of continuity. You know that our our culture is is uh,
- 18:56Speaker 3: it's unique, it's specific, takes a certain type of player
- 19:00Speaker 3: to play. For me, it takes a certain type of
- 19:02Speaker 3: player to play at Yukon, and I think when you
- 19:06Speaker 3: were when those relationships are forged through a recruiting period
- 19:12Speaker 3: as high school player, they really buy in and believe
- 19:15Speaker 3: in your program. So, you know, we want to supplement you,
- 19:19Speaker 3: hopefully our roster, you know, with some strategic portal moves
- 19:23Speaker 3: like we're able to do we needed help at point
- 19:24Speaker 3: Guard Silos Memory Malachi Smith.
- 19:29Speaker 6: Coach, We're going to go to all the shoot Yeah,
- 19:31Speaker 6: the suits in bad shape.
- 19:33Speaker 3: You know, I'm like alaie to you guys. You know
- 19:35Speaker 3: the pants, pants are fine. It's the jacket that is
- 19:41Speaker 3: really The lining is a problem. There's like three holes.
- 19:46Speaker 3: When I stick my arm in the right there's like
- 19:50Speaker 3: three different places and if you could see it, it's
- 19:53Speaker 3: like the lining is coming through, it's actually going past
- 19:56Speaker 3: the dress shirt. I'd say my biggest problem is the
- 20:00Speaker 3: lining in the jacket is a complete mess. So I'm
- 20:03Speaker 3: gonna have to get a tailor. In the off season.
- 20:07Speaker 15: We'll go to Dana towards the back dana' neil CNN Sports.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Dan kind of related to how you answered my question yesterday.
- 20:15Speaker 7: You guys are not favored and are quite a serious
- 20:18Speaker 7: underdog in this game.
- 20:20Speaker 1: How will you use that to fuel your team?
- 20:24Speaker 3: You know in this game, not not at all, because
- 20:28Speaker 3: you just you get down to you know, you know,
- 20:32Speaker 3: winner take all at this point is just that it's
- 20:37Speaker 3: something that you probably doesn't even register. It's just like preparation,
- 20:42Speaker 3: game plan, make sure the guy you're you're getting as
- 20:48Speaker 3: healthy and as yeah, all the recovery and just really
- 20:53Speaker 3: you don't have to be the best team. You don't
- 20:55Speaker 3: have to have the best season to win this tournament.
- 20:59Speaker 3: You know, these are all one games, game seven, single
- 21:03Speaker 3: game elimination. There's been plenty of times in the history
- 21:07Speaker 3: of this tournament where the best team hasn't won it.
- 21:09Speaker 3: You know, you just got to be better for one night.
- 21:14Speaker 3: And obviously, you know, for us, we need to play
- 21:18Speaker 3: the game a certain type of way. You know, we
- 21:22Speaker 3: obviously can't get into a certain type of game with
- 21:25Speaker 3: with with Michigan, they're you know, incredibly dominant team, you know,
- 21:30Speaker 3: incredibly well coached talent up and down the roster, physically
- 21:34Speaker 3: imposing you know, all those things. So you know, the
- 21:38Speaker 3: good thing for us, it's not a seven game series.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Just got to play one game on Monday night.
- 21:43Speaker 1: You know we say that all the time, don't we.
- 21:45Speaker 1: You do not have to be the best team. You
- 21:48Speaker 1: have to be the team that plays the best at
- 21:51Speaker 1: that moment. And the other thing is, I believe after
- 21:54Speaker 1: watching all these games, your stars better come to play
- 22:00Speaker 1: right now. Michigan, in my mind, they were good enough
- 22:05Speaker 1: to overcome the Lindenborg injury. But even he walks back
- 22:11Speaker 1: and Willis reads it on one leg and hits like
- 22:14Speaker 1: three threes in the second half. They didn't really need
- 22:17Speaker 1: him because they were saying Godeau was the star. But
- 22:22Speaker 1: normally speaking, your star better be good. Caravan better be
- 22:28Speaker 1: good for Yukon, right read better be good for Yukon.
- 22:35Speaker 1: If those two guys, to me, if they're not good,
- 22:37Speaker 1: I don't know how Yukon wins. Michigan's already proven they
- 22:43Speaker 1: don't need Lindenborg, and he'll be limited I think in
- 22:52Speaker 1: movement with knee and ankle problems tonight. But my gosh,
- 22:58Speaker 1: they made a real good basketball team just look really
- 23:02Speaker 1: bad Saturday because Arizona. I picked Arizona to win it.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I thought they were the most consistent, the best team.
- 23:10Speaker 1: They'd lost two games all year. That was in conference play.
- 23:13Speaker 1: What's Michigan's lost three? I guess maybe or four, but anyway,
- 23:20Speaker 1: many they made Arizona look terrible. Michigan's been the best
- 23:24Speaker 1: team this tournament for sure, and among the top two
- 23:28Speaker 1: all year. Right, They've been consistent. You Cod Hurley was joking,
- 23:35Speaker 1: how do we win in the Big East? You don't.
- 23:39Speaker 1: You just have to win enough in conference play. You
- 23:41Speaker 1: just have to get to the dance.
- 23:44Speaker 11: Uh.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Let's hear from Michigan coach Dusty May.
- 23:48Speaker 16: I heard the topic of conversation was was my hair
- 23:51Speaker 16: and my age?
- 23:52Speaker 10: It was?
- 23:52Speaker 11: It was he?
- 23:53Speaker 12: I think it was, hell, well, you're aging your credit
- 23:55Speaker 12: to your skin and haircare routine.
- 23:57Speaker 9: I think is this begins to spiable and.
- 23:58Speaker 16: God gives you the raspy voice, the height and lack
- 24:01Speaker 16: of vertical jump. He's got to bless you with something so.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Obviously.
- 24:05Speaker 16: Still, it's it's an honor to be one of the
- 24:08Speaker 16: two teams still standing playing in the last Monday of
- 24:13Speaker 16: an amazing college basketball season.
- 24:15Speaker 11: Right front on the right side of the aisle.
- 24:17Speaker 14: Dan Hey, Dusty dan Wilkom, Yahoo Sports. I know that
- 24:21Speaker 14: neither you nor your right.
- 24:24Speaker 8: I'm sorry, I.
- 24:26Speaker 14: Know neither you nor your colleagues designed the system that
- 24:30Speaker 14: college sports is operating under right now. But there are
- 24:32Speaker 14: a lot of people who look at a team like
- 24:35Speaker 14: the one you have and say, this is not what
- 24:37Speaker 14: college sports should be. You should not be able to go,
- 24:40Speaker 14: you know, compile a team like this the way you did.
- 24:44Speaker 14: The question I have is, as a coach, how would
- 24:47Speaker 14: you describe the value of taking guys who maybe were
- 24:52Speaker 14: not the best versions of themselves previously and making them
- 24:56Speaker 14: the best versions of themselves with your program.
- 25:00Speaker 16: Look, I know this is going to set off a
- 25:02Speaker 16: Twitter firestorm, but I think we all are better in
- 25:06Speaker 16: certain situations than others. There's an environment that's right for me,
- 25:10Speaker 16: there's an environment that's right for you, And sometimes you
- 25:13Speaker 16: don't choose that the right environment from the beginning, or
- 25:16Speaker 16: sometimes it's people. We change and we need something different
- 25:21Speaker 16: for a number of reasons. So the way we choose
- 25:24Speaker 16: to look at it, we're going to bring in really
- 25:26Speaker 16: really good guys that are high achievers, that want to
- 25:29Speaker 16: do it the way we want to do it. And
- 25:32Speaker 16: when the Oklahoma City Thunder won the championship last year,
- 25:35Speaker 16: and I'm friends with Kosha Dagnault and a lot of
- 25:37Speaker 16: people in that organization. I wasn't judging them because she
- 25:41Speaker 16: Alexander was drafted by the Clippers or because they signed
- 25:44Speaker 16: Isaiah Hartenstein as a free agent. I thought, Wow, those
- 25:47Speaker 16: guys play beautiful basketball. That is a great team. That's
- 25:52Speaker 16: a real model for young players to watch. A group
- 25:55Speaker 16: that obviously cared about each other, that played the game
- 25:57Speaker 16: the right way, that represented their organization, their city, their families,
- 26:01Speaker 16: their last name, and so whatever the rules are, we're
- 26:05Speaker 16: going to go at it. But our job is to
- 26:08Speaker 16: put a competitive roster team on the floor that represents
- 26:13Speaker 16: Michigan the way we think they deserve.
- 26:15Speaker 3: To be represent it. Front Rows center.
- 26:19Speaker 4: Steve Kornicky, Dusty, A lot of your players talk about
- 26:24Speaker 4: what they get.
- 26:24Speaker 8: Out of practices, that the practices in many.
- 26:27Speaker 9: Cases are harder than the games.
- 26:30Speaker 12: Talk about your toughness building and what goes on in
- 26:32Speaker 12: those practices.
- 26:34Speaker 16: Well, we just try to create an environment that will
- 26:35Speaker 16: prepare our players to play well in the games. I mean,
- 26:38Speaker 16: player development is helping your guys perform better on game
- 26:42Speaker 16: nights while also always looking towards their future and their
- 26:46Speaker 16: individual careers. Our practices are designed to challenge them, to
- 26:52Speaker 16: make them think, to figure out solutions on their own
- 26:54Speaker 16: to lean on their teammates when things aren't going well.
- 26:57Speaker 16: So we feel like if we don't play well the games,
- 27:00Speaker 16: it's because of our poor planning in the weight room, conditioning,
- 27:05Speaker 16: individual workouts, team workouts, whatever the case. I think that's
- 27:08Speaker 16: one of the reasons we play with a level of
- 27:10Speaker 16: looseness at the biggest moments because we feel like we've
- 27:14Speaker 16: either won or lost these games A long time ago.
- 27:18Speaker 11: Front end center still.
- 27:19Speaker 17: Jake Singer with Mas and Brew. There's a few weeks
- 27:21Speaker 17: ago the team was predistraught when they lost the Big
- 27:24Speaker 17: Ten championship to Purdue, and they really had to refocus
- 27:26Speaker 17: and regroup before the ends of lay tournament. Now this
- 27:28Speaker 17: team has been so dominant. What did you say your team?
- 27:32Speaker 17: What did the team do to really refocus and regroup
- 27:34Speaker 17: in this Ensulab tournament run to look so dominant after
- 27:37Speaker 17: that that terrible loss a few weeks ago, we did have.
- 27:39Speaker 3: To say a lot.
- 27:40Speaker 16: We have a very bright group that's self aware, and
- 27:43Speaker 16: we have great leadership, and we knew we had lost
- 27:46Speaker 16: our edge a little bit, but also we were starting
- 27:50Speaker 16: a new season, so it gave us a chance to
- 27:52Speaker 16: take a deep breath recalibrate, refocus, and also kind of
- 27:56Speaker 16: reflect on what we did when we were at our
- 27:58Speaker 16: best and what we were thinking of and what we
- 28:00Speaker 16: were focused on. And so it was more of just
- 28:03Speaker 16: a reboot, just a just a restart reboot. There weren't
- 28:07Speaker 16: any wholesale changes. There wasn't a faith family in the
- 28:11Speaker 16: Michigan Wolverine speech. It was just let's get back to
- 28:14Speaker 16: doing what we know is are the right.
- 28:15Speaker 15: Things on the right side of the aisle, left side
- 28:19Speaker 15: of the room. Athletic, Hey, Dustin.
- 28:21Speaker 10: Linz, he's not off from the athletic.
- 28:22Speaker 6: What can you tell us about yax I believe he
- 28:24Speaker 6: did get an MRI this morning.
- 28:26Speaker 16: Yeah, all imaging has come back clean, and he's getting
- 28:31Speaker 16: treatment and doing rehab all day to day and he'll,
- 28:35Speaker 16: I'm sure he'll give it a go tomorrow, but that'll
- 28:37Speaker 16: be entirely up to him and the medical staff. He'll
- 28:39Speaker 16: they'll tell me if he can go, and if he
- 28:40Speaker 16: can we we were laughing. That's he played the second
- 28:44Speaker 16: half like a thirty eight year old at the YMCA,
- 28:47Speaker 16: and he and a really good thirty eight year old
- 28:49Speaker 16: at the YMCA. So whatever version of Yaxle we get,
- 28:53Speaker 16: it's going to be somebody that that helps us play
- 28:57Speaker 16: better basketball.
- 28:58Speaker 18: Seller brackets here at Dodd or Hey downste Hootball as well.
- 29:01Speaker 18: A lot was made in the your preparation for the
- 29:04Speaker 18: Final four having been there before. Now having won that
- 29:07Speaker 18: first game, do you how beneficial do you feel like
- 29:09Speaker 18: that experience was and now heading to the national championship game?
- 29:14Speaker 18: What does the preparation look like for you having not
- 29:16Speaker 18: been here before? I remember back in the first Final
- 29:18Speaker 18: Four you mentioned calling your past you know, mentors and whatnot.
- 29:20Speaker 18: As you do that again now or how do you
- 29:22Speaker 18: go about that?
- 29:23Speaker 16: Well, if experience is a major factor then we're in
- 29:26Speaker 16: big trouble tomorrow. Obviously, Coach Hurley's been here often and
- 29:29Speaker 16: recently we are versed in short preps. You play these
- 29:34Speaker 16: multi team events, you play conference tournaments, and we do
- 29:39Speaker 16: have a style of play that we felt like from
- 29:41Speaker 16: the beginning would be difficult to prepare for.
- 29:44Speaker 8: In a short turn.
- 29:45Speaker 16: In the Big Ten, you get some scheduling breaks where
- 29:47Speaker 16: you might play a team on Tuesday and then play
- 29:50Speaker 16: someone else on Friday, and then someone else on Sunday,
- 29:52Speaker 16: So there are quick terms and based on how our
- 29:56Speaker 16: system is designed, we do feel like it's a challenge
- 29:59Speaker 16: to fair for us. But I also feel like you
- 30:02Speaker 16: caught on a short prepas challenging as well. So maybe
- 30:04Speaker 16: one of the reasons we're both still standing and have
- 30:07Speaker 16: been able to advance in these tournament settings.
- 30:09Speaker 19: All right, that's Dusty May, and it's no coincidence that

- 30:55Speaker 1: for emergencies like that, batteries and flat tires and other things.
- 31:00Speaker 1: This is what they do every day. Plus the gasoline

- 33:56Speaker 1: with us here on a Monday. We've got the writer's
- 33:59Speaker 1: round table. I mean, you're waiting about thirty minutes over
- 34:03Speaker 1: the weekend. Actually it was last week by now, because
- 34:09Speaker 1: they moved the games to Thursday. Well, they moved the
- 34:13Speaker 1: Saturday game to Friday for weather, and as it turned out,
- 34:16Speaker 1: one of the few times they were right, we did
- 34:20Speaker 1: get rained on Saturday. The Aggies lost the opener, but
- 34:23Speaker 1: came back to win two, including run rule for the
- 34:28Speaker 1: second game of the doubleheader. In the third game of
- 34:30Speaker 1: the series on Friday evening, let's hear from head coach
- 34:35Speaker 1: Michael Early.
- 34:37Speaker 25: Because Jos said that the pitching staff as a whole
- 34:40Speaker 25: after last night, that you know, all of them answered
- 34:42Speaker 25: the bill today.
- 34:44Speaker 26: Yeah, I mean they those guy's worked really hard, right,
- 34:46Speaker 26: and we're a team and just everyone had.
- 34:49Speaker 8: Each other's back, and.
- 34:50Speaker 26: You know, they picked us up plenty of this year,
- 34:52Speaker 26: and you know, Friday Thursday.
- 34:55Speaker 8: I guess just wasn't the case.
- 34:56Speaker 9: But they were awesome.
- 34:57Speaker 8: Philadelph competed.
- 34:58Speaker 26: I thought Weston than awesome job in Game one and
- 35:02Speaker 26: some homers, but it got us to what the fifth
- 35:04Speaker 26: six something like that, and Gavin came in unto the
- 35:06Speaker 26: job in fresh I understood their incredible job and they're
- 35:10Speaker 26: really good. We just gotta steal limits and extra base
- 35:12Speaker 26: hits and if you look at the day as a whole,
- 35:15Speaker 26: we did that.
- 35:16Speaker 25: And Aiden Simms what allowed him to have that kind
- 35:19Speaker 25: of success today?
- 35:20Speaker 26: Yeah, I just saw in four or five different pitches
- 35:22Speaker 26: for strikes and getting Alexona it needs to be alexone
- 35:25Speaker 26: and get guys in Chase swimmiting damage. Just can't say
- 35:29Speaker 26: enough good things about it. I'm extremely happy he's on
- 35:31Speaker 26: our team. I got a freaking competitor, ultimate competitor. What
- 35:35Speaker 26: a what a job by him today and.
- 35:38Speaker 8: It just really lucky to have him.
- 35:39Speaker 9: And he's been great all year.
- 35:41Speaker 1: You know, you've had more than a few attentions where
- 35:42Speaker 1: you guys have answered the bell.
- 35:43Speaker 8: After top fouting. Just what about this team's resilien seach?
- 35:46Speaker 3: Just what do you see from you.
- 35:47Speaker 8: Guys to do with the respondent?
- 35:48Speaker 26: It speaks to the character of the guys in the
- 35:50Speaker 26: locker room and they and they're good players and I
- 35:52Speaker 26: think they understand.
- 35:54Speaker 10: I think they.
- 35:54Speaker 26: Understand baseball is hard, right, Like, you're gonna have some
- 35:57Speaker 26: tough games. You're gonna you're gonna get whipped every now
- 35:59Speaker 26: and then. You gonna be over for at the player,
- 36:01Speaker 26: not be good on the mound. But you got to
- 36:02Speaker 26: just continue to show up. This game is is extremely unforgiven.
- 36:06Speaker 26: If you if you let it beat you up in
- 36:08Speaker 26: between the games, it's gonna show up in the game.
- 36:10Speaker 26: So I think they just have you know, we had
- 36:11Speaker 26: a great leadership group, a lot older guys, and then
- 36:13Speaker 26: our freshmen have.
- 36:14Speaker 9: Awesome leadership qualities too, So it's just.
- 36:16Speaker 26: They're a tough group then, and they've they've worked talking
- 36:19Speaker 26: part all year. So I was not surprised by their
- 36:21Speaker 26: performers today at all.
- 36:22Speaker 1: I mean's the first guy in conference played to go
- 36:23Speaker 1: for ins and not give up a home run?
- 36:25Speaker 8: What does that say extra batter's performance that not only.
- 36:28Speaker 9: Did you want to get them in the park too?
- 36:30Speaker 26: Yeah, I mean we got to limit extra basics right
- 36:32Speaker 26: and give our offensive chance to score. Then we got
- 36:34Speaker 26: to score, and I think, uh, yeah, it's great. I mean,
- 36:37Speaker 26: I don't I hate a homer by the other team
- 36:39Speaker 26: as much as the next one.
- 36:40Speaker 9: I mean, solo homers.
- 36:43Speaker 8: Those are one thing.
- 36:43Speaker 26: But yeah, just I think he just limited heart Barel
- 36:45Speaker 26: contact with General Silvers.
- 36:47Speaker 9: He was great.
- 36:47Speaker 27: So its on Wednesday that Bear was a guy that
- 36:49Speaker 27: you were looking for to maybe have a big weekend.
- 36:52Speaker 9: You know it's smart.
- 36:53Speaker 8: Yeah, you think you're gonna have to do that every week.
- 36:55Speaker 27: And just what was it about Bears you know, approach,
- 36:58Speaker 27: just the last three games that he was able to
- 37:00Speaker 27: deliver in those ways.
- 37:01Speaker 8: I just really felt good about him.
- 37:03Speaker 26: Like at Masuri, I thought he was just on time
- 37:06Speaker 26: to a lot of pitches, hit some balls really hard.
- 37:09Speaker 9: So yeah, he's looking good practice.
- 37:11Speaker 26: It's just he's been working through some stuff and just
- 37:14Speaker 26: keeping his direction one way and not pulling off its early.
- 37:17Speaker 26: But there's a really good player and it was a
- 37:20Speaker 26: matter of time.
- 37:20Speaker 8: I mean, he think about it. We're talking about him
- 37:22Speaker 8: not getting.
- 37:23Speaker 26: Hits when I go back to the fact that he
- 37:24Speaker 26: was always getting on base and then you know when
- 37:26Speaker 26: the bat Carrel starts coming in that missing pitches, he's
- 37:28Speaker 26: he's got.
- 37:29Speaker 9: Some pro cheeks.
- 37:29Speaker 2: So it's just.
- 37:31Speaker 9: A tribute to him and the guy's awesome.
- 37:33Speaker 26: I mean he went what sixteen innings today like behind
- 37:37Speaker 26: the plate.
- 37:37Speaker 9: Okay, but you know what, Ben look tired at all.
- 37:41Speaker 25: Look, I believe he scored in eleven or fourteen offensive
- 37:45Speaker 25: half innings. What can you say about your offense consistency?
- 37:48Speaker 9: And then the power.
- 37:49Speaker 8: Stroke is, well, yeah, we did We did.
- 37:53Speaker 26: A really really good job of controlling the strikes.
- 37:56Speaker 8: H I was looking at it before I came out, But.
- 37:58Speaker 26: In Game one, the guys they had some good stuff,
- 38:02Speaker 26: but through like one hundred and seventy two pitches and
- 38:04Speaker 26: through one hundred and twelve out of the zone.
- 38:06Speaker 8: Now, sometimes balls out of the zone can.
- 38:08Speaker 26: Be called strikes, but we only swung at seventeen pitches
- 38:12Speaker 26: out of the.
- 38:13Speaker 8: Zone out of one hundred and or out of whatever.
- 38:15Speaker 8: I just said, So, like, that's that's tough. That guy,
- 38:18Speaker 8: that guy they started, that's a I mean, that's a
- 38:20Speaker 8: hard pitcher to hit off of. He's got a ninety
- 38:22Speaker 8: one min slider going downhill, ninety.
- 38:25Speaker 9: Seven ur heater.
- 38:26Speaker 26: So I think that part of it, like getting on
- 38:27Speaker 26: base and doing the little things, and then when you
- 38:30Speaker 26: get some pitches in the zone.
- 38:32Speaker 8: The other part of our offenses is we want to
- 38:33Speaker 8: do damage, and they executed that at a at a
- 38:35Speaker 8: really high level.
- 38:36Speaker 27: Kind of along those lines, what would you see from
- 38:39Speaker 27: y'all's ability to take advantage of maybe some miscues and
- 38:42Speaker 27: some bass path opportunities, especially tough first games to day.
- 38:45Speaker 26: Yeah, I mean we gotta again, like if the other
- 38:47Speaker 26: team make mistakes, makes mistakes.
- 38:49Speaker 9: We want to capitalize on them, and we want eleven arms, so.
- 38:52Speaker 26: We can't to an extent control their mistakes, but when
- 38:56Speaker 26: they make them, we need to be there to take
- 38:58Speaker 26: advantage of it.
- 38:59Speaker 8: If you did that, I what's the lesson We've seen
- 39:01Speaker 8: the first and third play work as well as that one.
- 39:03Speaker 9: I think it was the first game where.
- 39:04Speaker 26: You Yeah, I mean it's something we work on a lot.
- 39:08Speaker 26: It's just they have to the opportunity has to present itself.
- 39:11Speaker 26: And Sell did a really nice job and agree with it.
- 39:13Speaker 26: So I can't remember the last time, but that was
- 39:16Speaker 26: a really big play and a big run, you know,
- 39:18Speaker 26: to get.
- 39:18Speaker 9: Us to four head into the bottom of the night.
- 39:21Speaker 10: You just wins that.
- 39:22Speaker 1: You've talked about Harrison being a guy that's been a
- 39:24Speaker 1: big bat and somebody you trust.
- 39:26Speaker 8: How much is that in just knowing the player, what
- 39:27Speaker 8: the work he's put in.
- 39:28Speaker 26: How much is that like analytical based, like you're seeing
- 39:31Speaker 26: big things good at that that's more about knowing than
- 39:33Speaker 26: human I mean, I love there to death that he
- 39:35Speaker 26: is just such a pleasure to be able to cushion.
- 39:38Speaker 9: He's an awesome kid, and he's a really good player.
- 39:40Speaker 10: So he's uh, you.
- 39:42Speaker 26: Know, you you root for everyone, right, and you got
- 39:44Speaker 26: a guy like there that just literally does everything right
- 39:48Speaker 26: for the moment. You know, he goes to bad, wakes
- 39:50Speaker 26: up of the morning and comes to me. He's just
- 39:52Speaker 26: phenomenal human being and like a super talented player.
- 39:55Speaker 9: So I just have a ton of holief with.
- 39:57Speaker 8: Lions in particular.
- 39:58Speaker 25: Just what was it about him, hey that he was
- 40:00Speaker 25: able to really get into a groove, especially after last
- 40:03Speaker 25: night he got a little roughed up in his short
- 40:05Speaker 25: outing there.
- 40:05Speaker 26: Yeah, he just you know, to me, like he left
- 40:07Speaker 26: that slider up on the homer and he just he
- 40:10Speaker 26: didn't do that today. He was able to locate his pitches,
- 40:13Speaker 26: get his cutter to the other side of the play
- 40:15Speaker 26: to get his heat or where Andy had to get it.
- 40:16Speaker 9: I had a couple of times he got.
- 40:18Speaker 8: Down on the count, he got dripped back in the count.
- 40:20Speaker 26: So he uh, just that just more consistent in the
- 40:23Speaker 26: zone and getting that breaking pitch down into the.
- 40:25Speaker 9: Other side of the play.
- 40:26Speaker 14: Last thing today when you talk to the pictures, was
- 40:28Speaker 14: it a discussion or was this.
- 40:30Speaker 17: Something that they did kind of they knew what was
- 40:32Speaker 17: up and they do this on the round.
- 40:34Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean we briefly talked after the game and
- 40:36Speaker 8: then and then JK.
- 40:38Speaker 9: JK talks to like so he does a really good
- 40:41Speaker 9: job with him getting them back, you know.
- 40:43Speaker 26: Even Keel, and they knew, they know, I mean, they
- 40:45Speaker 26: know we need them to be good, right, And I'm
- 40:48Speaker 26: not I don't think me necessarily screaming and yelling at
- 40:51Speaker 26: him or things like that. I let the guys who
- 40:53Speaker 26: do their job do their job, and they did and
- 40:55Speaker 26: we got and not only our pitching staff, but we.
- 40:58Speaker 9: Got players on the team.
- 40:59Speaker 8: Like these guys want to win so and they know
- 41:01Speaker 8: what to do.
- 41:02Speaker 9: They just have to do it, and they did.
- 41:04Speaker 25: Going back to the first game and forget what inning
- 41:06Speaker 25: it was, but a mountain visit with Weston Mounts. Was
- 41:08Speaker 25: he dealing with anything a little extra today?
- 41:11Speaker 8: I think he was just a little dehydrated.
- 41:13Speaker 9: Yeah, just a litltihydrated. Body was getting tight.
- 41:15Speaker 8: So just if you have a breath, and I always
- 41:17Speaker 8: trust the player, right, we thought he was his stuff
- 41:20Speaker 8: was good.
- 41:20Speaker 26: So in the SEC we get the privilege of having
- 41:23Speaker 26: a pitching metrics, so it gets you a really good
- 41:25Speaker 26: idea if something's wrong with the guy.
- 41:27Speaker 8: Everything looked great. He said he was fine. He said
- 41:30Speaker 8: he was fine.
- 41:31Speaker 9: I just got my butt off the field.

- 47:50Speaker 1: from that Maroon White game, which everybody's looking forward to.
- 47:58Speaker 1: Let's hear from Isaiah Hort, can we for sure?
- 48:02Speaker 32: Yeah, we had a lot of exposive plays we worked
- 48:05Speaker 32: on two minutes and four minutes today and just what
- 48:08Speaker 32: impressed me to most is just the consistency we had
- 48:10Speaker 32: in the urgency we had on the field.
- 48:12Speaker 10: And then what leg you to and what what made
- 48:14Speaker 10: you want to know?
- 48:16Speaker 32: Well, you know, I just I believe in coach egos,
- 48:20Speaker 32: the culture he's building here. You know, I believe in
- 48:23Speaker 32: Marcell Reid. He's a guy from my hometown, we grew
- 48:27Speaker 32: up together. Yeah, I believe in him with all my heart.
- 48:30Speaker 32: And I just believe in this program and I just
- 48:32Speaker 32: believe in this coach.
- 48:33Speaker 13: How long have you known marself?
- 48:34Speaker 22: Where did that relationship start?
- 48:36Speaker 10: Kind of what does that relationship look like between the two.
- 48:38Speaker 32: Year before you absolutely So me and Marcel we kind
- 48:41Speaker 32: of we met around like middle school going into high school.
- 48:44Speaker 10: We played seven on seven together.
- 48:46Speaker 32: So we traveled all over the country and we just
- 48:49Speaker 32: played seven. He was my seven or seven quarterback, and
- 48:52Speaker 32: we just messed and it was just like real recognized, real,
- 48:56Speaker 32: like first time we met, and it was just like
- 48:57Speaker 32: we were just friends off the bat the experience.
- 49:00Speaker 8: Because now, what have you seen development growth wise from Marcell.
- 49:03Speaker 10: Qub He's always been that guy.
- 49:05Speaker 32: Skill wise, I'll just say maturity like anybody else, like
- 49:08Speaker 32: a kid just growing up, you know, just mature.
- 49:11Speaker 10: He's done a great job.
- 49:12Speaker 27: You mentioned the relationship with Marcel. How much did the
- 49:15Speaker 27: relationship maybe with Coach Wiggins and even Wilkin me for
- 49:19Speaker 27: your recruitment just you ended up coming here too.
- 49:21Speaker 32: For sure, it meant a lot getting getting I was
- 49:24Speaker 32: getting recruited by Homing Wiggins Coach Wiggins out of high school,
- 49:27Speaker 32: so that relationship piece was already there, Like I just said,
- 49:30Speaker 32: mentioned the relationship piece with Marcel was already there.
- 49:33Speaker 10: So it was a no brainer for me.
- 49:35Speaker 27: What have you learned from this wide receiver room, Mario
- 49:38Speaker 27: and you know bad all these other.
- 49:40Speaker 10: Receivers like you?
- 49:41Speaker 9: Something from them game.
- 49:44Speaker 32: When I'm just tooking from those guys, they're hard workers,
- 49:47Speaker 32: they're very determined, they love the game of football, and
- 49:50Speaker 32: just it's no plays off take a lot of.
- 49:52Speaker 21: Big players from the freshmen so far, I.
- 49:55Speaker 10: Thieve you think this room could be what's gonna set
- 49:57Speaker 10: out to you about the freshman man? This room is
- 49:59Speaker 10: very a d man. I'm uh.
- 50:00Speaker 32: What stood out to me about the freshman is they
- 50:03Speaker 32: came in, they listen, They're eager to learn, They're hungry,
- 50:08Speaker 32: you know, you know in this day and time with
- 50:10Speaker 32: n I l they could come in lack of discal Noah,
- 50:12Speaker 32: those boys in the in the film room, they're asking
- 50:15Speaker 32: me questions as a vet and it's just it's I'm
- 50:18Speaker 32: proud of and they're gonna, They're gonna, They're gonna definitely
- 50:21Speaker 32: make an impact for this team this year.
- 50:23Speaker 27: One of the biggest things you're working on individually to
- 50:26Speaker 27: try and to elevate your game going into the next
- 50:28Speaker 27: season this.
- 50:28Speaker 32: Off sea just being dominant every play, not just on
- 50:32Speaker 32: and off, just every single time on on the field.
- 50:34Speaker 32: I'm dominant, Like every time y'all see me, just know
- 50:36Speaker 32: if I get the ball or if I don't get
- 50:38Speaker 32: the ball.
- 50:38Speaker 10: That guy, he's a beast.
- 50:40Speaker 7: Would do you feel like you bring to this an offense?
- 50:42Speaker 17: And then what do you feel like your.
- 50:43Speaker 10: Goal is gonna be in the same For sure, I
- 50:46Speaker 10: feel like I bring leadership. I bring experience on the field.
- 50:49Speaker 32: I bring explosiveness, a big body ex receiver can go
- 50:52Speaker 32: down the field, make those one on one catches, and
- 50:55Speaker 32: just whatever the team needs me to do.
- 50:56Speaker 10: That's what I'm here for.
- 50:57Speaker 27: How would you describe your leadership kind of style or
- 51:01Speaker 27: way you need?
- 51:03Speaker 10: I lead by example.
- 51:03Speaker 32: You know, I really don't do too much talking, and
- 51:06Speaker 32: the guys know if I do talk, they listen to
- 51:09Speaker 32: me because I don't talk a lot.
- 51:10Speaker 10: So I lead by example and I let them see
- 51:13Speaker 10: how I act.
- 51:14Speaker 16: I'll go talking about how this offseason they really needed
- 51:17Speaker 16: that X receiver, that big body guy, and that was
- 51:19Speaker 16: kind of when they were missing last year.
- 51:21Speaker 8: How much of that was a talking point, and how
- 51:24Speaker 8: much do you think you're gonna be able to kind
- 51:25Speaker 8: of really bring to you As far as fifty.
- 51:28Speaker 32: Fifty ball that kind of stuff, I'm gonna bring it.
- 51:32Speaker 32: So whenever it is a fifty to fifty ball, it's
- 51:34Speaker 32: more like a one hundred percent ball.
- 51:36Speaker 10: In my opinion. So yeah, whatever they do, that's that's
- 51:40Speaker 10: that's what it is. To that point, what we.
- 51:42Speaker 8: Expect from a home and wigs of fanotypically, First, your
- 51:45Speaker 8: play caller, what.
- 51:45Speaker 10: Do you see what it'd be like to vuk.
- 51:48Speaker 32: Yeah, you can just expect a fast, explosive offense and
- 51:53Speaker 32: gonna be very dominant.
- 51:54Speaker 27: What have been some of the things that you know
- 51:56Speaker 27: you've really developed on prior to your time company and
- 51:59Speaker 27: that you feel like, is nat improvements in your game
- 52:01Speaker 27: beating hup to this point in.
- 52:03Speaker 32: Your career, sir, I'll just say my consistency. I work
- 52:06Speaker 32: on my craft every day, and it's the little things,
- 52:08Speaker 32: the details that really matter. Anybody can catch the ball,
- 52:11Speaker 32: we can all run up. It's the details that's gonna
- 52:13Speaker 32: separate you.
- 52:15Speaker 26: Maybe your favorite memory something elseide of Marcel and your
- 52:18Speaker 26: early memory sticks out to you about or dandy hat or.
- 52:23Speaker 10: Anything like that.
- 52:26Speaker 32: My favorite memory, I'll just say just I mean, it's
- 52:29Speaker 32: always fun on the field, but we had a tournament
- 52:31Speaker 32: of South Florida and pretty much it was after the game.
- 52:36Speaker 32: It's really just those time in the hotels, Like we
- 52:38Speaker 32: just tell the fellowship, we're talking the Camaradery just laughs, like,
- 52:43Speaker 32: that's that's the fun times.
- 52:45Speaker 10: But what's something we need to ask welcome about a relationship.
- 52:51Speaker 10: What do you need to ask about? Well, why he's
- 52:53Speaker 10: always smiling.
- 52:54Speaker 1: Yeah, we're gonna hear from Will can Form and be later.
- 52:57Speaker 1: That's Isaiah Hoard. That was That is a big, big
- 53:02Speaker 1: transfer right there, figuratively literally six'. Four he's the guy
- 53:07Speaker 1: that for years you're looking at THE sec After Mike
- 53:11Speaker 1: evans left and, going, hey where are all those, long
- 53:14Speaker 1: tall receivers that go up and just snag the ball
- 53:18Speaker 1: over those little defensive. Backs, well this guy's one of.
- 53:22Speaker 1: Them he is going to be fun to. Watch he
- 53:25Speaker 1: was fun to watch In, alabama it'll be fun to
- 53:28Speaker 1: watch here all. Right coming, up we have got the
- 53:35Speaker 1: writers round table and we've got several things to talk,
- 53:42Speaker 1: about including The National Championship, game the big weekend series
- 53:48Speaker 1: with the Fighting schlasnagels coming in this weekend At. Olsen
- 53:55Speaker 1: i'm sure we'll have some thoughts on, that and you,
- 54:01Speaker 1: KNOW i never know exactly where we're headed with some
- 54:05Speaker 1: of this, stuff but that's just that's what we. Do
- 54:10Speaker 1: that's why you. Listen So rusty And cease will be with.
- 54:13Speaker 1: Us the Major league season is. UNDERWAY i had predicted
- 54:18Speaker 1: before that home opener for The Rangers friday THAT i
- 54:23Speaker 1: covered that The rangers would have clinched the division by,
- 54:26Speaker 1: then AND i WAS i missed that by a little.
