- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's Fakia Friday!
- 0:01[SPEAKER_01]: Fakia!
- 0:02[SPEAKER_01]: Get ready for some wins!
- 0:05[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to the be it till you see it podcast, where we talk about taking messy action, knowing that perfect is boring.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm also Logan, prize instructor, and fitness business coach.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_01]: I've trained thousands of people around the world, and the number one thing I see stopping people from achieving anything is self-doubt.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: My friends, action brings clarity, and it's the antidote to fear.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_01]: Each week my guests will bring bold, executable, intrinsic, and targeted steps that you can use to put yourself first and be it till you see it.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's a practice, not a perfect, let's get started.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: Hi, be it babe.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: Have you Friday?
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: How are you?
- 0:50[SPEAKER_01]: What's going on?
- 0:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'm still on the road as you're listening to this.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_01]: So I recorded early and to see there's some of the winds that I did before I left for tour, but I actually think that it's a lot of fun and still worth listening to because the same reason I love to share your wind sometimes there are a month or so after you've seen them in.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_01]: And then you get to hear them go, oh my god, I did do that.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: And then you get to re-celebrate this amazing thing that you did.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm going to re-celebrate what I did in my view.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_01]: But first, just so you know, you can actually send your wins an easier way, go to be at pod.com slash questions.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: I know that sounds weird, but you can put your question or win it or both, right?
- 1:26[SPEAKER_01]: We answer your questions on the Thursday episode.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: We share your wins on the Friday episode.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_01]: But first, we share something that inspired me and I thought you guys needed to hear about this.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_01]: So it says five non-negotiable days you should schedule every month.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: So this
- 1:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'll put the link in the show notes.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_01]: You can actually see it for yourself, but it said, through this five days that you have in your each month, right?
- 1:45[SPEAKER_01]: So that would be twelve times the year ideally.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_01]: So you need to get it together day.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: That's a day to clear the clutter.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: Physically mentally and digitally.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: This can be pain, your build, organizing your inbox, or doing meal prep.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's boring, but it's a kind of maintenance that keeps life from spiling out of control.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: I couldn't agree more.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_01]: I love this get it together day, so it's already
- 2:04[SPEAKER_01]: being scheduled in to the life that we live.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of like, oh, let's pick a Saturday or a Sunday to like declutter a closet, right?
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: So then we have unplugged day.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_01]: So you need a day.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's twenty four hours where you avoid technology as much as possible.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: So put down your phone and go for a hike.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: It's been time with people or person are going to buck.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_01]: The world will fall apart while you're offline, but you're meant to have my improved.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_01]: I often use unplugged days on planes because it's a little easier.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_01]: But I also do play a video game.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, find a day or half day or six hours where it's like, I'm not going to be like using my technology.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_01]: All right, be safe, but also figure, like get creative, right?
- 2:45[SPEAKER_01]: Take the next day.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_01]: Be a tourist day.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_01]: Be a tourist in your own city day.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_01]: How cool.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_01]: When was the last time you explored your city?
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: Like it wasn't just where you lived.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_01]: There's a new location or try a restaurant.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: You've never been to a routine.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: It makes time fly, but exploration slows it down.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_01]: See the world around you with fresh ice.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_01]: I couldn't agree more.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: We have been trying out new bars and new restaurants.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_01]: And as I literally record this, I have a text list of our friends where I'm supposed to refine a restaurant because I booked a reservation and the restaurant canceled it.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_01]: And as rude as they always are, they didn't tell us why.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_01]: So now we're trying to figure out a new place to eat.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, Oh, well, I'll just be a tourist that day.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_01]: That sounds fun to me.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, reconnection day.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_01]: Life gets busy, but relationships are what make it meaningful.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_01]: Take at least one day per month to reconnect with people who matter.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_01]: No agenda, no hidden motive, just real human connection.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you can probably combine some days, right?
- 3:36[SPEAKER_01]: You have reconnection day with an unplugged day, pick some friends, go for a hike, right?
- 3:40[SPEAKER_01]: You could be a tourist too.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God, all these different things you could do.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're like, I'm too busy for these days.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get creative, you know?
- 3:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like, the world is what you see.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just gonna be really honest with you.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I think this is the last one.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: Many adventure day.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_01]: You don't need a plane ticket to have an adventure.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: Do something small that's new, but feels exciting.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_01]: Take a new route home, try a new class or visit a museum, break your routine and make your days more story worthy.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm just truly obsessed with this.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm actually keeping this saved for myself.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_01]: Just make sure that I'm finding ways to do these things in my busy calendar.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_01]: You're in a here in the wins this month.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like where I've actually done these things before I saw this and I'm like, Oh, I really love those things and look at me.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_01]: I had a reconnection day.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: So I always hope this inspires you.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_01]: Now let's do a win of yours.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_01]: So this one was sent in from Tammy Adrian George.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_01]: She actually is the episode coming up.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: She is a OPC teacher and an agency member, and we have a really fun program coming out with her.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're a Pilis instructor once a teacher, people's homes, we've got something.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: So this one was from a little bit ago, but I'm sharing it now.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: And she says, new website is done mostly.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: Just a few annoying bits to clean up, but messy action is my traction and tag Pilis.com.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_01]: spent a week getting the best hugs from college boy being home for spring break.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: Soft roll out from my biz coaching half skill will travel.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: The method is going well.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: There isn't much out there exclusively for traveling to instructors and I want to take a quick moment in the sessions of my regular select them know that although they be seen me more my feed about coaching I'm still one hundred percent committed to their customized programs.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_01]: I asked him to be sure to let me know early about their travel of the Keisha plants so we can book their virtual sessions that will often follow that outside of the normal schedule with time zone changes.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: I expected a bit of pushback and got none, just love and support.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: Made a new IG teacher friend who's in Thailand named tick when I DMed him to thank him for following and asked how he found me.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: He said to picture of LL's flashcards.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: That's so cool.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, so fine.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: So I love all these different little winds in here.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to break him down.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: Because you guys, she is celebrating a website that's mostly done, right?
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like oftentimes we wait to celebrate until everything is perfectly tied up in a boat.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: That is not going to happen.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm literally looking at a pile of coats that I move from one closet to what's going to be the next closet.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm still celebrating that I've got them from one closet, right?
- 6:04[SPEAKER_01]: We have to give ourselves permission to be in process and in progress.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_01]: I also love that she is celebrating like
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: The little moments with her son mean home like it's really sometimes we want more of other people's time.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_01]: We don't always get it.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_01]: So when you celebrate the time you do have it does make it feel so special.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_01]: And then she is working on a new program and I love that she is sharing that with people who it doesn't even apply to so that they know what's going on and that she's still committed to that.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: Because often times we're like, oh, let me make this precious.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_01]: Let me hold on to this thing that I'm doing and not telling you what about it because I don't want them to know because in case it fails, no, tell people about it.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_01]: Tell why they're doing it.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_01]: Tell how they're part of it because you have no idea how they might know plus the universe responds to us talking about the things we're doing.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_01]: love all these wins, and also if you are in business and you're listening to this, if you do get new followers, it's really important to sometimes find out how they found you because it lets you know you'll be spending your time.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_01]: So, way to go, I love that they have my flashcards and Thailand.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for letting me know Tammy.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: All right, a win of mine.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: So, I'll go with this one.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: I cleaned out a closet, and right, like how we were just talking about those coats.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: So we have this closet,
- 7:13[SPEAKER_01]: That's by the front door.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure everyone has causes.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_01]: They're by the front door.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_01]: Anyways, this closet was like the dog closet plus the coat closet plus the shoe closet plus my weight vest closet and it's just kind of like it's too small for how many things that's supposed to hold and in the wintertime we need our big coats to be in there and that
- 7:31[SPEAKER_01]: is no longer something we need in there.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_01]: So I pulled all the big coats out because we're not going to need them until October, November, anyways.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_01]: And so they didn't quite make it into the podcast room closet.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: We're all the other coats are because we make room.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_01]: We need to make space.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_01]: And so I talked about this.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: I said, hey, before we leave for tour, we have to go through this closet.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, because there's now this closet is a co-closet.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: Such the gift closet slash your music equipment closet.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_01]: So can we like do that one of the weekends?
- 7:59[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm sharing this with you, we're in the process of this wind being another wind.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: So we've done one wind, the coat closet by the front door, easy to use, tons of space, can't even believe it, like so much room.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_01]: We also donated a bunch of dog stuff to this shelter that takes care of homeless people's dogs.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_01]: We had a bunch of toys that my own is like.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: And since guy and August have passed, like we have all this extra stuff.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: We have one dog now, and we used to have three.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: So we have a lot of extra stuff.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_01]: So, we're going to donate a ton of dog stuff that was used in lunch at lunch at lunch at lunch use to another charity.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: So you can, you can find all the kinds of wins I'm having out of cleaning one closet out.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_01]: And no, it's not done.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: The project's not done, but you know what?
- 8:37[SPEAKER_01]: I can't wait in my life for things to be done before I celebrate.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_01]: Life would be way too hard.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: There's way too much stuff going on.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to remind you of that each and every week, my loves, you're doing a really great job.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_01]: And nothing is ever going to be perfectly done ever.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to realize, oh, like, sort of from a flashcards have gone through like three or four reprints.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: We've sold out reprinted, sold out reprinted.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: And on the third reprint, we discovered that there's a misspelled word.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: No one has ever told us about.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_01]: Right, so here I have, we're done with that and we're not.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: We have to reprint it.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_01]: We'll wait till the next print.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_01]: We'll fix that one word, but I just want to give you permission to celebrate that you pulled a coat from one closet and you got it into the room where it's supposed to go.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_01]: Congratulations, right?
- 9:22[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_01]: Here's a mantra for you.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: I alone hold the truth of who I am.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_01]: I alone.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: of who I am.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: Stay on my time with me.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_01]: I alone hold the truth of who I am.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_01]: So send your wins in and share this with a person who needs this needs inspiration that good things do happen to good people who put themselves out there and put themselves in process.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_01]: They really, really, really do.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I do hope that I get to see you in person at some point either on our summer tour or upcoming winter tour in the UK next month on our retreat.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: Like, let's spend some time together because I love the podcast and our platforms allow us to reach people all around the world.

- 10:07[SPEAKER_01]: And hearing more about what you need and how we could support you helps us pick up the guests for this podcast.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: It helps us design classes on OPC.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's all part of it, right?
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: So we want to meet you.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: So definitely reach out for information on any of the person events that we're doing.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: And send your wins or your questions or both to be a pod.com slash questions.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much and have an amazing day.
