- 0:09Speaker 1: La Podcast. Happy mother Freaking pump Day? We have easty boy.
- 0:14Speaker 1: How you doing good?
- 0:16Speaker 2: How's everybody else?
- 0:17Speaker 1: We are all good? Jessica, Hello, I'm great good. We
- 0:24Speaker 1: had a very short week last week. I'm like trying
- 0:27Speaker 1: to get back into the groove of having a full
- 0:31Speaker 1: five days. My amazing brain named Jessica gave me three
- 0:37Speaker 1: or was it two? To what three days off? Didn't
- 0:40Speaker 1: you give me three days off last week? Yeah? Was that?
- 0:44Speaker 1: I had Monday? I had Monday in Newport with family
- 0:47Speaker 1: friends the Russians. I had Thursday family Russing Day.
- 0:54Speaker 3: And then yeah, you know what's funny, I'm breaking at
- 0:57Speaker 3: the schedule right now.
- 0:59Speaker 1: You.
- 1:00Speaker 4: I love this about you.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Though your days off are like the day we still work.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Like I'm looking at the schedule. Monday we had work
- 1:07Speaker 3: in the morning. Thursday we had work in the morning.
- 1:09Speaker 3: But as long as you're able to leave by a
- 1:12Speaker 3: nice time, that means a day off for you.
- 1:14Speaker 2: And I love that.
- 1:14Speaker 4: So yes, I guess day off.
- 1:16Speaker 2: And to shout out to the russ for letting.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Us crash their entire but we grew up going to
- 1:22Speaker 1: Newport with the Russians. It was like so incredible to
- 1:25Speaker 1: sit exactly where we sat with Dad.
- 1:29Speaker 2: It was a nostalgic.
- 1:30Speaker 1: It was nostalgic, and I had so many Did you
- 1:33Speaker 1: have a good time? Oh?
- 1:34Speaker 2: I had the most fun. I got to hang out
- 1:36Speaker 2: with Like I would like.
- 1:37Speaker 5: That is one thing I want to look when it's downtime,
- 1:40Speaker 5: when they're cheaper. I would love to go for a
- 1:42Speaker 5: week and just get a beach house. Just get a
- 1:45Speaker 5: beach house and work from there.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Stay at the a maybe from the airport.
- 1:49Speaker 2: I could do that.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I don't think I could do it and fly out, John.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I've experienced luxury now at this point in my life,
- 1:56Speaker 1: and I don't think I.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Could do it.
- 1:58Speaker 5: I could give a ship where I am at if
- 2:00Speaker 5: I'm at the Atrium and the beach is right there,
- 2:04Speaker 5: you know, right into the pool, see everybody.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Okay. I mean I did see Dennis Rodman at the
- 2:10Speaker 1: Atrium one years ago. I had to have been maybe
- 2:17Speaker 1: sixteen years ago.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Yeah, decades.
- 2:21Speaker 1: But it's kind of like the Seinfeld episode, like with
- 2:23Speaker 1: my mom, when it's like first class, you know, Elaine
- 2:27Speaker 1: and and Jerry. He's like we only have one seat
- 2:33Speaker 1: in first and another in coach and Jerry's like, all
- 2:36Speaker 1: take the first class and he's like, Elaine, you've never
- 2:39Speaker 1: been in first class. You don't know what you're missing.
- 2:41Speaker 1: It's kind of like me with my mom or even Easton.
- 2:43Speaker 1: I'm like, I've experienced luxury. You guys can stay at
- 2:46Speaker 1: the Atrium. Don't catch me at the four Seasons, just like.
- 2:50Speaker 2: My mom home.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I'm like, you're not getting first I'm getting the life
- 2:53Speaker 1: flat because you don't know what it's like to be
- 2:55Speaker 1: in a life flat. And then go back to coach.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Well, then you better never introduce her to a life flak.
- 3:00Speaker 5: She already she's calling me now. She's like, Easton, we
- 3:04Speaker 5: have to get these done.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Like our insurance stuff.
- 3:09Speaker 5: And I go, okay, I'll get mine done. I go,
- 3:12Speaker 5: why are you not doing yours?
- 3:14Speaker 2: She goes, I can't see depends, and.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I was let's just call it what it is. We're
- 3:18Speaker 1: all all and.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I am, I just doing yours. Is that what you want?
- 3:22Speaker 5: She goes, well, like it's easier, right, And I just said,
- 3:24Speaker 5: that's all you had to say. Don't just like make
- 3:27Speaker 5: this seem like I'm doing us a favor. Just ask
- 3:30Speaker 5: me to do the favor.
- 3:31Speaker 1: For us right, yeah, or like you're pudding, you're putting,
- 3:35Speaker 1: you're throwing runch in the whole thing.
- 3:36Speaker 2: It's like, just just said it to me and go,
- 3:39Speaker 2: would you do this for me and be so kind?
- 3:41Speaker 1: Easton calls her, calls our mom elastic girl. She really
- 3:45Speaker 1: stretches you.
- 3:47Speaker 2: It's like your reaches for everything. And she will not stop.
- 3:50Speaker 5: So she will even if you put her, If you
- 3:52Speaker 5: stop her and put a wall in front of her, logic,
- 3:55Speaker 5: she will reach above that wall and reach and fucking
- 3:58Speaker 5: grab whatever.
- 3:59Speaker 1: And she for a very quick example, and then we'll
- 4:04Speaker 1: move on. You asked me, Jess, can you get your
- 4:07Speaker 1: laptop charger? And my mom was like, the cord. We
- 4:12Speaker 1: don't have the cord. We only have the plug. And
- 4:14Speaker 1: I said, I know, mom, because the cord was used
- 4:18Speaker 1: in the car for Ocean's iPad and she kept wanting
- 4:22Speaker 1: to blame it on me, and I'm like, you're not
- 4:24Speaker 1: getting it. I'm not saying the cord is lost. I'm
- 4:25Speaker 1: telling you the cord is in the car, okay. And
- 4:28Speaker 1: she's like, I haven't seen it. I'm like it's there,
- 4:30Speaker 1: don't fucking worry about it. She's like, well, I didn't
- 4:32Speaker 1: lose it. I'm like, it's not lost, it's in the car. Well,
- 4:35Speaker 1: I didn't put it in the car. I'm like, it
- 4:36Speaker 1: doesn't matter who put it in the car, it's in
- 4:38Speaker 1: the car. I'll figure it out. She comes around the
- 4:41Speaker 1: corner after five minutes, five ten minutes, and she's like, Lauren,
- 4:48Speaker 1: is it the cord that you put the season for computer?
- 4:50Speaker 1: And I was like, yes, it's exactly right. And she goes, Okay,
- 4:53Speaker 1: now I'm remembering, and she goes, but you know that
- 4:56Speaker 1: I didn't put it in the house.
- 4:58Speaker 2: You physically took it way. I don't remember, okay, sweetheart.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I know. I was like, this is why you call
- 5:07Speaker 1: her lastic girl. I totally get it. Now.
- 5:12Speaker 6: I love that you're here now Easton to just be
- 5:16Speaker 6: around and all the energy because it was so entertaining
- 5:19Speaker 6: just to watch Lisa and Lala for so long, but
- 5:21Speaker 6: now with you in the MIDX, it's just And.
- 5:23Speaker 5: I know I told her too, I go, me, being
- 5:25Speaker 5: here is going to be the death of you because
- 5:27Speaker 5: she used to be able to like call me to
- 5:30Speaker 5: complain about Lauren on like the keys. Now I'm in
- 5:32Speaker 5: the mix of putting the keys and so now she's
- 5:36Speaker 5: she can't throw it on me of like, and now
- 5:38Speaker 5: she has no one event too, so now she is
- 5:41Speaker 5: just getting beaten.
- 5:42Speaker 2: I love you, Lisa.
- 5:43Speaker 4: Can we have Lise back on the podcast soon?
- 5:45Speaker 1: Please? Yes?
- 5:46Speaker 2: I have so much.
- 5:49Speaker 5: Well that's the other thing, And I almost want her
- 5:51Speaker 5: on the podcast for when we talk about the gentleman
- 5:54Speaker 5: running through it, when we.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Talk about the man in the apartment complex that we
- 5:58Speaker 1: live in. Yes, to be here, that's another fucking namemarege. Anyway,
- 6:03Speaker 1: I want She's great. Lisa's so so grazy, but you're right,
- 6:08Speaker 1: she can't hustle any of us. But I did say
- 6:10Speaker 1: to her because the keys to the.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Office, that's why I was sitting outside for thirty.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Minutes, right because she lost them because I have been
- 6:19Speaker 1: sucking on chupa choops a lot lately, lollipops lollipops, and
- 6:25Speaker 1: I was asking her in the car, can you open this?
- 6:28Speaker 1: And she was like, this is the hardest thing ever.
- 6:30Speaker 1: So I'm like, just I grabbed the keys to the
- 6:33Speaker 1: office to use as like kind of like a little
- 6:35Speaker 1: razor to cut the wrapping off. All right, cut to
- 6:39Speaker 1: where we are now. The keys are nowhere to be found, Okay,
- 6:42Speaker 1: I had we had them in the car. We had
- 6:44Speaker 1: a two hour drive to Palm Springs. Where could they
- 6:47Speaker 1: have gone? She wants to blame it on me. I said, Lisa,
- 6:51Speaker 1: you remember opening the sucker, right And she says yes.
- 6:54Speaker 1: And I see her wheels moving and she's like, I
- 6:56Speaker 1: see her thinking I am the last one to touch them.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Where could they have gone? I said, you are the
- 7:01Speaker 1: only person on the planet that touches something. It attaches
- 7:05Speaker 1: itself to you and then flies into the abyss, nowhere
- 7:10Speaker 1: to be seen ever again.
- 7:11Speaker 2: I guarantee you.
- 7:13Speaker 1: She has lost a credit card. You know this, Jess
- 7:15Speaker 1: a credit card. She is convinced that ocean took it
- 7:18Speaker 1: and hit it somewhere. And she always, every single day
- 7:23Speaker 1: asks Ocean, Ocean, can you find Gigi's credit card. I'm like,
- 7:28Speaker 1: the credit card is gone, and if you would have
- 7:31Speaker 1: just called it in as and it hasn't been used.
- 7:33Speaker 1: So that's why she's convinced Ocean hit it somewhere. My
- 7:36Speaker 1: daughter doesn't hide, doesn't hide things, just doesn't.
- 7:39Speaker 4: She puts it on ocean. That is so funny.
- 7:42Speaker 1: When you start placing blame on it too, your you
- 7:44Speaker 1: know you've lost your damn mind.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Her marbles are all over the floor.
- 7:49Speaker 1: It's all over the freaking floor.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Is it funny though, Joe, it's so funny and liasing
- 7:54Speaker 3: agent if you are listening to this, Lisa, Yes, she
- 7:57Speaker 3: did misplace the office keys, but they're not lost.
- 8:00Speaker 4: They're just misplaced. Okay, so we don't need all new keys.
- 8:03Speaker 4: We just need a couple of new.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Keys, thank you, and a card to get in.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna get a colleagu it's gonna be like, well,
- 8:10Speaker 3: if they're lost, we need all new keys.
- 8:11Speaker 4: We got to replace everyone's No.
- 8:13Speaker 1: They've gone into the abyss. They will never be seen
- 8:15Speaker 1: again because they're in the middle of the earth. Now
- 8:18Speaker 1: they touch them, they've been burnt to a crisp by
- 8:21Speaker 1: the Earth's core. Okay, I swear to God. Can we
- 8:27Speaker 1: talk about this real quick? I posted a picture over
- 8:30Speaker 1: the weekend which was me holding hands with what looks
- 8:34Speaker 1: like fifty cent Obviously I thought it was. I have
- 8:37Speaker 1: a lot of people and actually a lot of people
- 8:40Speaker 1: sided my DM and they're like, if you need editing,
- 8:42Speaker 1: like please let me know the point, and I'm like no,
- 8:45Speaker 1: because the moment that you like make it look professional.
- 8:48Speaker 1: It takes away the funniness it's supposed to be a
- 8:50Speaker 1: botch looking job. Thank you.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, right, yes, I saw the comments and I
- 8:57Speaker 3: was like, no, that's what makes it so funny. It's
- 8:59Speaker 3: like the picture of you, you and yourself and you
- 9:01Speaker 3: covered up Raquel's Yeah, that head was huge.
- 9:04Speaker 1: It was hilarious. That's what makes it funny. And if
- 9:06Speaker 1: you don't get it, then, like you and I would
- 9:08Speaker 1: not get along very well, because what I think is
- 9:11Speaker 1: funny and you think it's funny are two different things.
- 9:13Speaker 1: All right. So I'm talking to Candace, my childhood best friend.
- 9:17Speaker 1: We've known each other since kindergarten in missus Condi's class,
- 9:20Speaker 1: and I wanted to hang out with her because she
- 9:23Speaker 1: was pretty and had big bows. And I told my
- 9:24Speaker 1: mom that and she put together a play date and
- 9:27Speaker 1: then we all became best friends with the russ And family.
- 9:30Speaker 1: So she's reminding me of all of these things, and
- 9:34Speaker 1: she's like, do you remember when we went to so
- 9:38Speaker 1: and so's birthday party. This was in the seventh grade
- 9:41Speaker 1: and her dad was handing out autographed pictures because he
- 9:45Speaker 1: was like a motivational speaker and had a lot of
- 9:47Speaker 1: celebrities and he had come in contact with us. She said,
- 9:50Speaker 1: you got the one of the signed fifty cent photo,
- 9:53Speaker 1: and you lost your mind. I look at my mother,
- 9:55Speaker 1: I go, where is it? Where is it? Oh?
- 9:59Speaker 2: It has no idea honesty though it'll show up.
- 10:02Speaker 1: It will show up. It's probably haven't got storage.
- 10:04Speaker 2: It is in storage. We have so many like now
- 10:07Speaker 2: this girl's buckets.
- 10:08Speaker 1: We have buckets of things, so it will show up. Now,
- 10:10Speaker 1: this girl's dad, the girl's birthday. Her dad was a
- 10:15Speaker 1: little weird. I wouldn't be surprised if he was like
- 10:17Speaker 1: a narcissist. I wouldn't be surprised if he signed the
- 10:19Speaker 1: photos himself and pretended like he knew all these people.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I didn't even think of that.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Like, I highly doubt that that fifty cent called you
- 10:26Speaker 1: to give him words of wisdom. I just don't see
- 10:29Speaker 1: that happening. Like I'm gonna choose this white man from
- 10:31Speaker 1: Utah who has never seen struggle in all his lives
- 10:36Speaker 1: to motivation will speak me to death. I just don't
- 10:38Speaker 1: see it happening. But who knows anyway. She then goes
- 10:42Speaker 1: on to talk about how I used to pick her
- 10:45Speaker 1: up for school when I got my license sophomore year,
- 10:50Speaker 1: blasting fifty cent and I was like, this has been
- 10:57Speaker 1: an obsession for a long time. Did you do not
- 11:00Speaker 1: know that? Like? Did you not? I only remember seeing
- 11:03Speaker 1: in the club the music video and being like I
- 11:06Speaker 1: love fifty cents. Yeah, I always loved fifty cent and Tupac.
- 11:10Speaker 1: But for her to have specific memories of like it
- 11:14Speaker 1: being dark outside because it's the dead of winter, picking
- 11:17Speaker 1: her up at seven am to go to school, the
- 11:21Speaker 1: lasting fifty cent it's like, and then the autograph picture.
- 11:24Speaker 1: It was just like, oh my gosh, it was so
- 11:25Speaker 1: great to be with her because they start bringing up memories. Yeah,
- 11:30Speaker 1: and you're like, wow, maybe I haven't changed that much.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Let me ask you. Did he reach out at all
- 11:37Speaker 4: about it?
- 11:37Speaker 1: Or no?
- 11:38Speaker 4: Who fifty fifty about the photo? Oh, you went out,
- 11:41Speaker 4: you're on private.
- 11:42Speaker 1: I went on private, but I don't think you would
- 11:44Speaker 1: have even seen it. And for a minute I went
- 11:46Speaker 1: into my comments and was like seeing people who were
- 11:49Speaker 1: like oh whatever. They were saying negative shit, And then
- 11:52Speaker 1: I was like, you know what, fifty trolls people all
- 11:56Speaker 1: the livelong day, and I sometimes go in to his
- 12:00Speaker 1: comments and people are like, fifty give it up or whatever.
- 12:03Speaker 1: It's almost to the and he doesn't delete them. He
- 12:05Speaker 1: doesn't even see them. He posts and then like moves
- 12:07Speaker 1: on and posts something else.
- 12:10Speaker 5: He'll post something and be getting trolled through that, but
- 12:13Speaker 5: by the time he's read those, he's already posted six.
- 12:17Speaker 2: I don't think I feel like people are sick.
- 12:18Speaker 5: Controlling him because they're like, damn, he not even see
- 12:21Speaker 5: By the time.
- 12:22Speaker 2: You press sent, he's posted two more. I love it too.
- 12:25Speaker 2: His page is cool.
- 12:26Speaker 3: He he doesn't ever delete any of the trolling posts either.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Right, so I've stopped doing that too.
- 12:33Speaker 4: You stopped it, oh deleting gout?
- 12:34Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 12:35Speaker 1: You know, you know you've made it when you have trolls,
- 12:38Speaker 1: because only a really sad person would be like, I'm
- 12:40Speaker 1: going to get in the comments section. We talk about
- 12:42Speaker 1: it all the time, anyway. I really, now that we've
- 12:46Speaker 1: talked about we've tangented our asses off. Let's like, hone
- 12:49Speaker 1: it did you guys? See? I want to talk about
- 12:54Speaker 1: the submarine very quickly.
- 12:56Speaker 2: I yes, I was reading about that.
- 12:59Speaker 1: What's it called, oh shit Gate, that's the name of
- 13:01Speaker 1: the company, right, Yeah. How many people were on the submarine?
- 13:05Speaker 2: Five five and one.
- 13:07Speaker 5: Was a nineteen year old. I thought they were all
- 13:10Speaker 5: like older, but like for the nineteen year old. Obviously
- 13:12Speaker 5: it was all I didn't want to go, and that's
- 13:14Speaker 5: what I was reading, Like.
- 13:16Speaker 1: He apparently only went because it was Father's Day, like
- 13:20Speaker 1: his dad did this for Father's Day and really wanted
- 13:22Speaker 1: him to go. There were also people. There was one
- 13:25Speaker 1: guy who said, I was going. I went on this
- 13:30Speaker 1: submarine and we only went X amount of feet deep
- 13:34Speaker 1: and I knew this was not safe to go in.
- 13:38Speaker 2: And it was on video.
- 13:39Speaker 5: What Yeah, I saw like a recording of the whole thing,
- 13:43Speaker 5: and there was four or five of them on and
- 13:45Speaker 5: they just dropped down to like thirty feet and then
- 13:48Speaker 5: like you could hear things in the sub like kind
- 13:50Speaker 5: of like it to me, it doesn't sound right. But
- 13:54Speaker 5: then they went back up and like they were like,
- 13:55Speaker 5: oh it worked. And I mean that was years ago.
- 13:58Speaker 1: So it was like four years ago.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to set it.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Oh, So it wasn't testing it out for this expon this.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Exactly, but it was the exact same sub yes.
- 14:07Speaker 1: And he was like, I just I just knew that
- 14:10Speaker 1: it was not safe enough to do what they were
- 14:12Speaker 1: wanting to do with it. Now, when you think about
- 14:17Speaker 1: this and you hear all of these things going on
- 14:21Speaker 1: where it was like, oh, it was made from off
- 14:23Speaker 1: the shelf parts. It was being controlled by what Nintendo
- 14:27Speaker 1: or an expox.
- 14:28Speaker 5: I mean it like a PlayStation five controller, which I'm
- 14:33Speaker 5: not going to say is like most things are now
- 14:35Speaker 5: being controlled like that.
- 14:37Speaker 2: It really is. But in when you're going into.
- 14:40Speaker 5: Depths that you can die in, right, I feel like
- 14:43Speaker 5: you would want something a little more sturdy than a controller,
- 14:46Speaker 5: something more bound.
- 14:47Speaker 2: To the st marine.
- 14:50Speaker 5: Where like if something went wrong, you can at least
- 14:52Speaker 5: grab something that is a manual to the props or
- 14:57Speaker 5: a manual turning thing to lift upper down. Because if
- 15:00Speaker 5: a controller can die, a controller can disconnect. And obviously,
- 15:04Speaker 5: when you're in a crane or things like that, you're
- 15:06Speaker 5: on land and you're like, okay, now we have to
- 15:08Speaker 5: figure this out. You can't do that when you're in
- 15:10Speaker 5: a submarine.
- 15:10Speaker 2: It's life and death. You have oxygen supply, all of
- 15:14Speaker 2: this that is very limited.
- 15:16Speaker 5: So for me to just look at it and for
- 15:17Speaker 5: them to be like this is what you do with
- 15:19Speaker 5: and they're like throwing it on the ground, I'm like,
- 15:20Speaker 5: at what point does that jar things in the controller?
- 15:23Speaker 5: And I mean, I'm overthinking for sure, but it's like
- 15:26Speaker 5: thinking it for me, just like I would look at
- 15:29Speaker 5: that as a big red flag of like, Okay, my
- 15:32Speaker 5: next question is what manual like control do.
- 15:38Speaker 2: You have that if that does loo? And if they
- 15:40Speaker 2: were like well.
- 15:41Speaker 5: Like a them, I'd be like, okay, well I don't
- 15:43Speaker 5: trust all five right, right, it's something.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Manual that's completely different.
- 15:47Speaker 5: Yes, that is bound to this sub that I can
- 15:51Speaker 5: like physically move or something to do like a controller.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Was there any sort of like alarm system where it's like,
- 15:58Speaker 1: if something were happening to the sub, it starts going off,
- 16:01Speaker 1: similar to a car, Like my car is gonna let
- 16:03Speaker 1: me know if my tire ain't acting right, and it's
- 16:07Speaker 1: gonna let me know well before anything happens, right, so
- 16:11Speaker 1: I can go in and get it checked. Was there
- 16:13Speaker 1: any sort of device inside that was letting them know,
- 16:17Speaker 1: like the pressure's getting funky, we may run out of
- 16:20Speaker 1: oxygen in forty hours, I mean go back to the surface.
- 16:24Speaker 1: I don't think there was anything like that.
- 16:26Speaker 5: No, I really don't think there was anything of life
- 16:30Speaker 5: saving equipment on there to tell you what was going wrong.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Do you think it was because they were planning on
- 16:35Speaker 1: only doing a nine hour ex Yes.
- 16:38Speaker 2: And I mean I get what they were doing.
- 16:39Speaker 5: And they probably were equipped with what they thought they needed.
- 16:44Speaker 5: But even that the Titanic is down there, there is
- 16:47Speaker 5: wrenches in rope, clip the top of it, and if
- 16:51Speaker 5: something happens, you start bringing it up manually.
- 16:54Speaker 1: That way was it was. I mean they were found
- 16:58Speaker 1: thirty six It was the length of thirty six football
- 17:01Speaker 1: field is where they found the back of the sub
- 17:04Speaker 1: and the front. I think it's way too deep to
- 17:07Speaker 1: have someone because then someone's got to go down and
- 17:09Speaker 1: attach it to.
- 17:10Speaker 5: The even go down there, because the equipment would be
- 17:13Speaker 5: too expensive because down that far the PSI is too heavy,
- 17:17Speaker 5: Like yeah right, not.
- 17:18Speaker 4: Ps I but the pressure. Yeah.
- 17:20Speaker 3: Yeah, but they've had like the military whoever, the Marines.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Yeah they heard it.
- 17:28Speaker 4: Yeah, did they hear it?
- 17:29Speaker 5: So, yeah, I don't know if you guys read that
- 17:30Speaker 5: it exploded like the first like I heard like forty
- 17:34Speaker 5: minutes in Yeah.
- 17:35Speaker 1: I heard they lost contact the first hour.
- 17:37Speaker 5: Yeah, and they were thinking like the controller or this
- 17:40Speaker 5: or that. But the Navy said that they heard like
- 17:43Speaker 5: wavelengths in the ocean that were similar to an explosion,
- 17:47Speaker 5: and so that was like you know, I it was
- 17:49Speaker 5: within the hour of so yeah, they were just looking for.
- 17:54Speaker 3: There's no no positive out of this at all. Of course,
- 17:59Speaker 3: what I did i'd see, which which I guess I
- 18:02Speaker 3: don't know the words to describe it. But something that
- 18:04Speaker 3: I guess could give survivors and family survivors a peace
- 18:08Speaker 3: of mind is that it happened so fast that the
- 18:12Speaker 3: literal brain could not process the pain, meaning that they
- 18:17Speaker 3: were gone before they knew they were gone. So just
- 18:22Speaker 3: being here one minute and then.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Like, yeah, I think that, which is great.
- 18:28Speaker 5: But then when you were saying did they have anything,
- 18:30Speaker 5: that's like saying the pressure down that low? You can't
- 18:35Speaker 5: have anything that's like the pressure's getting to because by
- 18:37Speaker 5: the time, But how.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Far down it explode?
- 18:39Speaker 1: But how far down could they have gotten within an hour? Well,
- 18:44Speaker 1: I wonder how deep it was?
- 18:46Speaker 2: From what I heard. Could they found them at thirty
- 18:48Speaker 2: one thousand feet thirty five?
- 18:49Speaker 1: They found the like the part, like the back in
- 18:52Speaker 1: the front, the rest of the middle park where they were.
- 18:56Speaker 1: I don't think that they've found any of that, but.
- 18:58Speaker 2: They said they did.
- 18:59Speaker 5: Okay, the sub could still go a thousand plus feet
- 19:03Speaker 5: more than where they found the part, so it should
- 19:05Speaker 5: never have exploded. It was supposed to be able to
- 19:08Speaker 5: go that low, and even lower than the.
- 19:10Speaker 1: It was supposed to. That's what they thought in their minds.
- 19:13Speaker 1: But had it been tested before, these people like I
- 19:16Speaker 1: would have sent that thing down on itself. Send it
- 19:19Speaker 1: down on its own.
- 19:20Speaker 5: If it's ran by a fucking controller, how about you
- 19:22Speaker 5: put a camera and then just drive the controller from
- 19:24Speaker 5: up top.
- 19:25Speaker 3: I have to like, in my mind, if that didn't,
- 19:27Speaker 3: I need to read more up on this. If surely
- 19:30Speaker 3: it was sent down there by itself, multiple multiple, multiple.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Times I have read. I haven't read on that either,
- 19:36Speaker 1: Like I'm literally just sitting here with knowledge because I
- 19:41Speaker 1: but this is the podcast where we do this and
- 19:43Speaker 1: then people write in and educate me and they go,
- 19:45Speaker 1: you are around. I've heard a million and one different stories.
- 19:49Speaker 1: The girl who lasered me was like, very very educated,
- 19:54Speaker 1: want every detail of this. In fact, I wanted to
- 19:57Speaker 1: get her on this podcast. But to be completely honest,
- 20:01Speaker 1: I thought that this week's episode would be the How
- 20:02Speaker 1: We Mannel podcast, but we needed more editing time and
- 20:06Speaker 1: approval time. So that's why you guys are getting the episode.
- 20:11Speaker 1: But the reason why I'm bringing this up is because
- 20:13Speaker 1: there's two stories that I want to talk about. Is
- 20:15Speaker 1: the submarine story and also the tiger shark eating and
- 20:20Speaker 1: killing the Where was he from do we remember? I
- 20:23Speaker 1: think he was Russian? Yeah, he was the Russian, like
- 20:27Speaker 1: I think it was around thirty thirty two and it
- 20:30Speaker 1: happened off of Egypt. So they're gonna go They're very different,
- 20:35Speaker 1: but they go hand in hand. I saw a lot
- 20:37Speaker 1: of comments when it came to the death of these
- 20:41Speaker 1: people who were on the submarine because it was two
- 20:43Speaker 1: hundred and fifty thousand dollars per person, and a lot
- 20:47Speaker 1: of trolls. We're talking about this being rich people shit,
- 20:52Speaker 1: and it's because rich people always want to do this,
- 20:54Speaker 1: that and the other. And it's so crazy to me
- 20:57Speaker 1: how when you can you're a a human being who
- 21:01Speaker 1: comes in contact with people that you love that you
- 21:05Speaker 1: can't comprehend. Something has to be about rich people other
- 21:09Speaker 1: than like it just being wow, people died, Oh yeah,
- 21:14Speaker 1: is such a mind fuck for me.
- 21:16Speaker 4: Well, it's it's those are like the bottom of the
- 21:18Speaker 4: bottom of the bear.
- 21:19Speaker 1: I don't know, but they are a lot more common
- 21:22Speaker 1: than It's horrifying. It's disgusting when you look at accounts
- 21:26Speaker 1: on Instagram that are strictly talking about that. There's no
- 21:30Speaker 1: face to the profile it's just a pump news out
- 21:34Speaker 1: to look at the comments section, you lose faith in humanity.
- 21:40Speaker 1: It's like, how could someone who like and you click
- 21:43Speaker 1: on these profiles of these trolls and it's like they
- 21:45Speaker 1: have pictures of their kids or a picture of their
- 21:48Speaker 1: dog in the profile picture. It's like, you're a human
- 21:50Speaker 1: being who's definitely capable of love because I see that
- 21:53Speaker 1: you have children, or I see that your bio says
- 21:56Speaker 1: that you're a preschool teacher, or whatever it may be.
- 21:59Speaker 1: How you can be so disconnected because somebody has a
- 22:03Speaker 1: different bank account than yours, And you say, oh, well,
- 22:06Speaker 1: this is what happens when you are rich and decide
- 22:09Speaker 1: to do something stupid.
- 22:10Speaker 5: Right, What if you were the kindergarten teacher that taught
- 22:13Speaker 5: him before you had nothing and then he makes wealth,
- 22:15Speaker 5: are you gonna still have that same look at him?
- 22:17Speaker 1: Well, no one thinks that way.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Everyone well ridiculous, and it's all you don't I don't know.
- 22:21Speaker 3: There's just so many things that you could say that
- 22:24Speaker 3: I've gone skydiving twice. If I died the second time,
- 22:26Speaker 3: are people going to come out and say, oh, look
- 22:28Speaker 3: at our going Well, what do you think is going
- 22:30Speaker 3: to happen, because technically you could say that with skydiving,
- 22:33Speaker 3: say it was anything you're jumping out of a plane,
- 22:35Speaker 3: of course, but it's just it's so stupid that it's
- 22:38Speaker 3: like not even worth the energy. And you're right, it
- 22:41Speaker 3: like kind of makes you lose faith in humanity when
- 22:43Speaker 3: it's like common after common, after comments, like.
- 22:46Speaker 1: When there's more bad and then every you know, fifteen comments,
- 22:51Speaker 1: there's one person saying like people lost their lives. It's like, wow,
- 22:54Speaker 1: this is a little this I don't relate to at all.
- 22:58Speaker 1: And I don't understand what chip you have on your
- 23:02Speaker 1: shoulder that would make you so disconnected from human life?
- 23:07Speaker 1: Does that? Am I making sense?
- 23:08Speaker 5: Yes?
- 23:09Speaker 1: So there's that part I saw. I pulled up the
- 23:14Speaker 1: video because I am a sick fuck. I should have
- 23:17Speaker 1: never done that. But it's it's so edited that you
- 23:19Speaker 1: can't see what's happening to this guy who's being malted
- 23:23Speaker 1: death by a tiger shark. Did you watch it, Sion?
- 23:26Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 23:26Speaker 1: I saw it, So did you see it? Just did
- 23:29Speaker 1: you hear about it?
- 23:29Speaker 3: And looking at it as we're speaking, it's horrific. I
- 23:33Speaker 3: don't think I could watch the rest. It's really heartbreaking.
- 23:36Speaker 3: All of it every they that's another like everything about
- 23:40Speaker 3: it is.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Well.
- 23:41Speaker 1: By the way, you have to kill the shark. You
- 23:43Speaker 1: have to kill the shark because if he is indeed well.
- 23:46Speaker 5: Now, if he just fed off of him, he that
- 23:50Speaker 5: shark will learn that if people keep coming back, that
- 23:53Speaker 5: is now feeding land for him. So people are going
- 23:55Speaker 5: to keep getting eaten. So you have to kill the
- 23:58Speaker 5: shark to you know, to keep it a way, because
- 24:00Speaker 5: it'll think that that's it's feeding bowl.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Right. I am not well versed in each type of shark.
- 24:07Speaker 1: I've heard that sharks just in general are not interested
- 24:12Speaker 1: in humans. They don't like the taste. But by the
- 24:15Speaker 1: time they bite into you and think you're something different
- 24:18Speaker 1: than a person and realize that they don't like how
- 24:21Speaker 1: you taste. You know, you've got really at times, you know,
- 24:25Speaker 1: like life threatening injuries, right or you lose a limb.
- 24:29Speaker 1: But this shark was like kept coming back for this.
- 24:33Speaker 5: I don't know what was going on underneath that water.
- 24:37Speaker 3: So this was a twenty three year old and his
- 24:40Speaker 3: father was watching.
- 24:41Speaker 1: And his girlfriend was also in the water, and I
- 24:46Speaker 1: don't know what prompted me to watch it. By the way,
- 24:51Speaker 1: I the ocean is the most beautiful but most terrifying
- 24:55Speaker 1: thing to me on the planet. It's so useful but
- 25:00Speaker 1: can cause utter destruction. And when I named ocean ocean
- 25:06Speaker 1: for me, it was like the ocean in my eyes,
- 25:09Speaker 1: is the most powerful thing on the planet and the
- 25:13Speaker 1: most beautiful, but you don't mess with.
- 25:15Speaker 2: It, right, Yeah, it's mother nature.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Absolutely, it's you can't control it. You don't know what's
- 25:21Speaker 1: going on below the surface. You don't know where you know,
- 25:24Speaker 1: the deepest part of the ocean. We don't know where
- 25:26Speaker 1: it is. We don't know that we'll ever find where
- 25:28Speaker 1: it is.
- 25:28Speaker 5: It's crazy that we go into space trying to find
- 25:30Speaker 5: all that out and we don't even know what is
- 25:32Speaker 5: on our own planet. We haven't put any money into
- 25:35Speaker 5: figuring out how to go deeper into the ocean.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Well, I'm sure that we have, no we have not.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Is that facts?
- 25:40Speaker 5: That is fact, Like, there are parts of the ocean
- 25:43Speaker 5: that we haven't seen because the pressure is so heavy
- 25:47Speaker 5: with the amount of water down there, that we can't
- 25:49Speaker 5: go down.
- 25:50Speaker 1: It's just scary to me.
- 25:51Speaker 2: It is there. We think that there's things that we
- 25:54Speaker 2: don't even know.
- 25:54Speaker 1: About that, well, there's absolutely things we don't know.
- 25:56Speaker 3: What about that and part of me is like, why
- 25:58Speaker 3: don't you go explore? And then the other part of
- 26:00Speaker 3: me is like leave it alone.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Leave it alone.
- 26:03Speaker 5: I think the lowest part there was a jellyfish, and
- 26:05Speaker 5: like they were talking about the way, so like now
- 26:08Speaker 5: how you can almost see through a jellyfish? And I'm
- 26:11Speaker 5: not going to use like the right terminology, so please
- 26:13Speaker 5: everyone correct me. They become like translucent, so the can
- 26:18Speaker 5: see them well barely, but it makes it so the
- 26:21Speaker 5: water can go through them so it's not so compressed
- 26:25Speaker 5: on their body. So they explode because fish will go
- 26:28Speaker 5: to the bottom to where it's maybe a little unsafe
- 26:32Speaker 5: but safe enough, but they if they go any lower,
- 26:36Speaker 5: the fish will like explode because there but.
- 26:40Speaker 1: There's like that are probably down there.
- 26:42Speaker 5: That a transluc translucent can go as far down as
- 26:45Speaker 5: they want. And that's what we haven't put money into
- 26:47Speaker 5: of seeing how can we go further down because they're
- 26:50Speaker 5: saying that things have come up. There's like a video
- 26:53Speaker 5: on an oil rig out in the water and it
- 26:56Speaker 5: is an octopus and its tentacles are like feet long
- 27:01Speaker 5: each and it is huge and no one's ever seen
- 27:04Speaker 5: it again.
- 27:04Speaker 3: Well, that's the old sailor stories that the monsters of
- 27:07Speaker 3: the sea. Those are just like giant squids and hook
- 27:11Speaker 3: down chips.
- 27:11Speaker 1: And you don't think that exists. They are absolutely.
- 27:16Speaker 5: For me to triangle, So for me go down and
- 27:19Speaker 5: who knows what's like there's just thousands of.
- 27:22Speaker 1: And I gave you the wrong word.
- 27:24Speaker 4: By the way, translucent just means see through, but you
- 27:26Speaker 4: mean like.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Something can move through it.
- 27:29Speaker 4: Someone who tell us that, yeah, yeah.
- 27:32Speaker 5: No, it's I think it is translucent. They get like
- 27:34Speaker 5: where you can see through them because that's how they.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Yeah, see through, But to have something, to have an
- 27:39Speaker 1: element moved is not the word.
- 27:43Speaker 2: So give us the word everybody.
- 27:46Speaker 1: For me, I'm telling you what. I don't want ocean
- 27:49Speaker 1: to go in the water, really no, But she loves it,
- 27:52Speaker 1: doesn't she She can go into her ankles.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Okay, I love lakes.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Otherwise the lakes I mess with all day. The ocean
- 28:00Speaker 1: unless there is a partition, a brick wall, a rock wall,
- 28:04Speaker 1: a net, don't care. Knowing that you're swimming about and
- 28:08Speaker 1: nothing's gonna mess with you. That video was traumatizing, and
- 28:13Speaker 1: it also bothered me because after what happened happened. There
- 28:17Speaker 1: are speedboats and again it's just on him. People recording
- 28:22Speaker 1: number one. I don't know how it was recorded. I
- 28:25Speaker 1: for one, if that were happening, would never my mind
- 28:28Speaker 1: wouldn't be like I got to get my phone out
- 28:29Speaker 1: and found this. Never in a million years would that
- 28:33Speaker 1: be my first thought to grab my phone and film
- 28:36Speaker 1: something like that.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Isn't that crazy that that's people's first.
- 28:40Speaker 1: But it just my first thought process is not to
- 28:43Speaker 1: reach for my phone and record something horrific happening. Yeah,
- 28:46Speaker 1: but you're watching after it's happened. These speedboats come towards
- 28:50Speaker 1: the body, and I'm like, if I were in that
- 28:52Speaker 1: speedboat and you see the initial attack. Keep in mind
- 28:56Speaker 1: he's blurred out in these videos, and then he has
- 29:00Speaker 1: time to kind of move and he's screaming. Why those boats,
- 29:04Speaker 1: those tiny little speedboats would not start circling him to
- 29:08Speaker 1: scare the shark away.
- 29:10Speaker 2: I don't grab him in anything at.
- 29:13Speaker 1: All, anything. I mean, he's already near death, like he.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Rip him out and a limb is gone. That's better
- 29:20Speaker 2: than what this outcome has become.
- 29:23Speaker 1: They killed the shark, and now they want to mummify
- 29:25Speaker 1: the shark and put it in a museum in Egypt,
- 29:28Speaker 1: which I think is so horrible, weird and horrifying, and
- 29:32Speaker 1: I don't understand. So if anyone would like to ride
- 29:35Speaker 1: into the podcast to tell me if that's something that
- 29:38Speaker 1: they just do in Egypt, I don't know. For me,
- 29:42Speaker 1: just not being very educated in things that go into
- 29:45Speaker 1: museums in Egypt.
- 29:46Speaker 5: Yeah, every shark, or are they if.
- 29:49Speaker 2: It because of this reasoning, I don't know. That is
- 29:52Speaker 2: morbid And.
- 29:53Speaker 1: They found when they cut the shark open, they found
- 29:56Speaker 1: his body parts inside the shark. I don't know why
- 29:59Speaker 1: anyone would feel the need to mummify this and put
- 30:02Speaker 1: him in a museum.
- 30:03Speaker 3: That's horrifying. And I don't know, Like I said, I
- 30:06Speaker 3: don't know the practices. I don't know if this is
- 30:08Speaker 3: a cultural thing. It could be a sign of respect.
- 30:10Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 30:11Speaker 3: But my initial thought is like horrifying. If any of
- 30:13Speaker 3: my loved one, if a loved one of mine died
- 30:15Speaker 3: that way and the shark was going to put be put.
- 30:18Speaker 4: In a building, I'd burn it down. I burned the
- 30:20Speaker 4: building to the ground.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Of course you would. Wild. Isn't it so freaking wild?
- 30:26Speaker 3: That's really heartbreaking. I didn't even realize it was like,
- 30:31Speaker 3: it's awful, that's awful.
- 30:36Speaker 1: So as you guys know this is the podcast of Tangents.
- 30:39Speaker 1: There's my We We spoke a little bit about some
- 30:42Speaker 1: nostalgic memories in Newport. I've spoken about the tragedy with
- 30:46Speaker 1: the submarine, the tragedy with the Tiger Shark. Let's bring
- 30:50Speaker 1: it back up a bit.
- 30:52Speaker 5: If you want to go down, just go to Disneyland
- 30:55Speaker 5: Mimo ride safe, secure, Yes, yes, fun fun.
- 31:01Speaker 1: But then I started talking to people about that and
- 31:04Speaker 1: their mom was like that, right, does scare me every time?
- 31:06Speaker 1: And I'm like, why didn't you mention those Maybe we
- 31:09Speaker 1: shouldn't go on it?
- 31:11Speaker 2: Yeah, oh you're good, are we?
- 31:13Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 31:13Speaker 2: I did.
- 31:14Speaker 5: You can see the tops of them when they're going
- 31:15Speaker 5: and like where you go like under, like your tops
- 31:19Speaker 5: are still Like know the person the girl who stands
- 31:22Speaker 5: up in the middle, Yeah, their heads are above the wall.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Oh okay, that's fine.
- 31:25Speaker 4: Yeah, there's That's the best ride ever. I just put
- 31:27Speaker 4: my face against the window.
- 31:29Speaker 2: I'm not gonna lie to you. I fall asleep, and
- 31:31Speaker 2: ninety five percent of the time it's the fact. It's
- 31:34Speaker 2: a good one. It's good naps.
- 31:35Speaker 1: It is a great knap spant and Ocean puts her
- 31:38Speaker 1: hands on under her chin, and looks out the window.
- 31:40Speaker 1: I think it's pretty primo nap Timber.
- 31:43Speaker 2: I can't wait till she's tall enough to ride the coasters.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Do you know how many times I've taken her? Every
- 31:47Speaker 1: time I go to Disney, which is like once a month,
- 31:49Speaker 1: I always put her under and I'm like, are we
- 31:51Speaker 1: old enough for space monk?
- 31:53Speaker 4: Do you always like it?
- 31:56Speaker 2: I think she'd love it.
- 31:57Speaker 1: She so when we do the Pirates ride Pirates of
- 32:01Speaker 1: the Caribbean, which is so weird by the way, because
- 32:04Speaker 1: I say it when I say that I'm like going
- 32:06Speaker 1: to the Caribbean. I say I'm going to the Caribbean,
- 32:08Speaker 1: but with Pirates, I say Pirates of the Caribbean.
- 32:10Speaker 4: If you said I'm going to the Caribbean for vacation,
- 32:13Speaker 4: I'd be like, are you okay?
- 32:14Speaker 1: But when you think it would be weird if I
- 32:16Speaker 1: was like Pirates of the Caribbean, Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 32:21Speaker 2: I've never even heard it said like that me neither.
- 32:23Speaker 2: I've never heard it said like you just said it. Either,
- 32:25Speaker 2: like I'm going to the Caribbean.
- 32:27Speaker 1: You say I'm going to the Caribbean, and I'm going
- 32:29Speaker 1: to ride Pirates of the Caribbean. Yes, exactly how you
- 32:34Speaker 1: say it. Wait what you were saying? Does she get?
- 32:36Speaker 1: I think so when we do that ride, which is
- 32:39Speaker 1: not like a rollercoaster at all, obviously, it's just a
- 32:42Speaker 1: drop in a boat, but I can feel her body
- 32:45Speaker 1: pressed against mine and I can feel her face get
- 32:48Speaker 1: nervous and she's gripping my arms. And then at the
- 32:52Speaker 1: end she's so fine, so fun, and I go, you
- 32:55Speaker 1: want to do it again? Just no? But then every
- 32:58Speaker 1: time I ask her what right do you want to do?
- 33:01Speaker 1: And at Disney she says pirates Yoho and I'm like,
- 33:05Speaker 1: you want to do the Yoho rynchos? Yeah?
- 33:07Speaker 4: But she does it every She's done it every time.
- 33:10Speaker 4: Maybe just in the moment it's like, that was fun,
- 33:12Speaker 4: but not gonna do it again. That's me on roller coasters.
- 33:15Speaker 4: Not gonna do it again.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Okay, I think Jack Jack all day?
- 33:20Speaker 1: Oh Jack Jack. Yeah. The roller coaster, which one is
- 33:23Speaker 1: Jack Jack? The one that gets upside down at California Adventure.
- 33:27Speaker 1: It's only one, It's only one upside Yeah, we get
- 33:29Speaker 1: the hopper pass.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Same.
- 33:30Speaker 1: So I called Brittany the other day and I was like,
- 33:32Speaker 1: did you book for for August for Disney? Because like,
- 33:36Speaker 1: literally they are booked solid June and July, and she's like,
- 33:41Speaker 1: mad shows that I can go anytime, And I realized
- 33:44Speaker 1: that it's because we have like the mediocre Disney. I
- 33:48Speaker 1: need to upgrade. Oh, Junior July are fully booked out
- 33:53Speaker 1: for me?
- 33:53Speaker 2: And every time, because she was like, we can't go
- 33:56Speaker 2: those days, I was like, why.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Looked completely booked?
- 34:00Speaker 3: They kind of are the Wait now you're making me panic?
- 34:03Speaker 3: Did we book you guys for August?
- 34:05Speaker 1: Yes?
- 34:05Speaker 4: Okay, good, That's.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Why I asked her, did we upgrade? I'm going to
- 34:08Speaker 1: upgrade when I get there because I'm sick of these
- 34:10Speaker 1: blackout dates because now it's turning into blackout months that
- 34:14Speaker 1: I will not stand for.
- 34:15Speaker 2: What do you think about Universal? Do you love it?
- 34:18Speaker 1: I don't love it. Ocean loves it, though it's more
- 34:21Speaker 1: kid friendly for her, there's more stuff that she can do.
- 34:24Speaker 2: No, for sure, I hate the Harry Potter Ride. I
- 34:29Speaker 2: throw up on it every time.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Then why do you continue to go on it?
- 34:31Speaker 5: No?
- 34:31Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm like Ocean, Ocean's vomiting but just
- 34:36Speaker 1: not getting physically ill. I love the Harry a little scared.
- 34:40Speaker 2: The one that flips you up. And yes, you're flying.
- 34:42Speaker 4: Around on a broom or whatever you're supposed to be
- 34:44Speaker 4: like pretending right.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Had to close my eyes.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Easton has to take a dramamine for road trips, so
- 34:48Speaker 1: I don't know why he thinks that he can just
- 34:50Speaker 1: do Harry Potter rides.
- 34:51Speaker 4: I get motion sickness too, though.
- 34:53Speaker 5: It's like, you know what, I'll sacrifice and I'll go
- 34:55Speaker 5: on the ride with my buddies for two minutes and
- 34:57Speaker 5: then I'll feel.
- 34:58Speaker 2: Like shit for four hours. Yeah, but it it's worth
- 35:00Speaker 2: for two minutes.
- 35:01Speaker 1: No, it's not for me, It's not really worth it.
- 35:03Speaker 1: I started getting carsick. I didn't realize because I'm always driving.
- 35:07Speaker 1: But the other day Ocean wanted me to sit in
- 35:09Speaker 1: the back with her, so I did, and I was like, oh,
- 35:11Speaker 1: I'm getting like carsick. So two things have happened since
- 35:15Speaker 1: I gave birth. My gag reflex is horrific. I cannot
- 35:19Speaker 1: put anything.
- 35:20Speaker 2: Sorry boy.
- 35:22Speaker 1: But then I asked Katie. I was like, you said
- 35:24Speaker 1: that because I was a bad no. But I asked Katie.
- 35:26Speaker 1: I said, this is a problem. I'm using a tongue
- 35:28Speaker 1: scraper and I'm not even going very far back, and
- 35:31Speaker 1: I'm like gagging. How am I ever going to go
- 35:36Speaker 1: proper blow job, and she was like, it's a completely
- 35:39Speaker 1: different feeling. Like I gag with the tongue scraper too,
- 35:42Speaker 1: so like, don't worry about it.
- 35:44Speaker 4: Yeah, same thing.
- 35:45Speaker 5: The good thing is you use a tongue scraper because
- 35:49Speaker 5: I do too, multiple I know a lot of people
- 35:51Speaker 5: who don't. So for the ones who don't, get that
- 35:53Speaker 5: tongue scraper.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Yeah on Amazon.
- 35:55Speaker 5: Yeah cheap.
- 35:56Speaker 2: And that's the way you keep your breath too.
- 35:58Speaker 5: A lot of people don't know that fresh breathy.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Keep the fresh. I just don't think i even need
- 36:05Speaker 1: to worry about it if I'm good at giving blowjobs because
- 36:07Speaker 1: like the only I'm only going to give them to
- 36:09Speaker 1: like intimate part, Like you have to be my boyfriend. Yeah,
- 36:13Speaker 1: Like I'm not just handing him out.
- 36:15Speaker 3: And then you could practice on him, like each week
- 36:17Speaker 3: you go a little bit deeper until you've got it, and.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Then you can tell him like I'm sorry, well stuck.
- 36:22Speaker 1: At this, like I've really got to get him to
- 36:25Speaker 1: love me hardcore because I may vomit on him a
- 36:27Speaker 1: few times.
- 36:28Speaker 4: Should see if I did that.
- 36:30Speaker 3: If I did that, if my gag reflexes were that bad,
- 36:33Speaker 3: no more blow drops.
- 36:34Speaker 5: Sorry, I feel like the guy at that point if
- 36:36Speaker 5: I had a girlfriend that was giving me blowjobs and
- 36:41Speaker 5: for some reason, I'm she can't go all the way down,
- 36:44Speaker 5: props to me. I'm shooting off over here.
- 36:50Speaker 1: It was a hairs eye.
- 36:51Speaker 4: Nobody everyone's getting.
- 36:55Speaker 1: Not at all.
- 36:56Speaker 5: But like if she threw up on me, I'd be like,
- 36:58Speaker 5: this is not for you and we'll do other things.
- 37:00Speaker 1: There you go, there you go.
- 37:03Speaker 4: I would hope.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Mom and dad did such a good job with you.
- 37:07Speaker 5: I would be like, clean that off and get back
- 37:09Speaker 5: at it.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Of course you wouldn't. Okay. Lastly, it's kind of dark
- 37:17Speaker 1: but also has a happy ending. Yeah, So this guy
- 37:26Speaker 1: faked his own death and then did like are you
- 37:31Speaker 1: why are you laughing? Chess?
- 37:33Speaker 4: Because I know this story and keep going.
- 37:36Speaker 7: He faked his own death and then appeared popped up
- 37:40Speaker 7: at his own funeral, just as him as himself to
- 37:47Speaker 7: and I quote, teach his family a valuable life.
- 37:52Speaker 4: I will live my life aspiring to be that fucking cool.
- 37:56Speaker 2: That is the move, Lisa.
- 38:00Speaker 1: But I want to know how you.
- 38:01Speaker 2: Guys are gonna miss me when I'm gone. This shows
- 38:04Speaker 2: you all. I see it already, but I'd be pissed.
- 38:09Speaker 4: If you were what if you were the person?
- 38:11Speaker 1: And then when he really dies, you're gonna be sitting
- 38:14Speaker 1: there going like do you think he faded? And you're
- 38:16Speaker 1: gonna be like, have hope in your heart that he's
- 38:18Speaker 1: going to reappear. He's the boy that cried Wolf.
- 38:23Speaker 4: Yeah, but he's not I get for the family. It's heartbreaking,
- 38:26Speaker 4: but he's living his life. He's teaching lessons. That's like
- 38:30Speaker 4: the move.
- 38:31Speaker 3: I'm gonna do that just to see who shows up
- 38:34Speaker 3: and is crying. And I'm gonna be in the balcony
- 38:36Speaker 3: of the church with binoculars making sure every single person
- 38:40Speaker 3: in that church is crying.
- 38:41Speaker 4: And if you don't have a tear, I'm going to.
- 38:43Speaker 5: Talk about to figure out a way to get in
- 38:44Speaker 5: that casket and start knocking.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Because that was my other question, Like if you're.
- 38:49Speaker 2: Just like hey, I'd be like, you fucking son of
- 38:52Speaker 2: a bitch.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I need to know the lengths he went to. Did
- 38:54Speaker 1: he have a death certificate made? How did he take it?
- 38:58Speaker 5: It would have to be a close cast it. I'll
- 39:00Speaker 5: say'd be asking like, hey, can we see the body.
- 39:03Speaker 5: I know a thing or two about having to get
- 39:06Speaker 5: like when you have to either cremate or whatever.
- 39:11Speaker 2: You have to identify the body. So how did he
- 39:14Speaker 2: bypass that one?
- 39:15Speaker 1: No? How did how did any of it happen? I
- 39:17Speaker 1: don't understand it.
- 39:18Speaker 4: Sounds like the funeral was probably in on it, right.
- 39:22Speaker 1: This had to have been the smallest town. Yeah, I
- 39:24Speaker 1: feel like my sin. Don't ask me where it is,
- 39:27Speaker 1: you know, I only read that.
- 39:30Speaker 5: Tell Us where it was just like.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Yeah, we just talked about it, and then the listeners educated,
- 39:38Speaker 1: and then we never talk about it again. We're like,
- 39:40Speaker 1: oh that podcast, do you remember when we talked about this.
- 39:42Speaker 1: This is actually what really happened. Anyway, Moving on, man
- 39:47Speaker 1: fakes his own death.
- 39:50Speaker 4: To teach family.
- 39:52Speaker 1: If it's in a different country makes no, it was
- 39:54Speaker 1: in the United States.
- 39:56Speaker 3: I feel like small town the funeral directors.
- 40:00Speaker 1: There's a video, Oh.
- 40:01Speaker 2: My god, hold on Mansfield, Ohio.
- 40:05Speaker 1: A man in Belgium. No, it was definitely in a
- 40:08Speaker 1: different country, arrived by helicopter.
- 40:12Speaker 2: He had money.
- 40:13Speaker 1: He reportedly faked his own death because he felt unloved.
- 40:18Speaker 2: He better be the one with all.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Now they're all rushing to him, crying, hugging. He wanted
- 40:24Speaker 1: to see who and his family cared for him. Oh,
- 40:26Speaker 1: this man needs to. He needs some deep work. Some
- 40:30Speaker 1: family members were unaware of the stunt.
- 40:33Speaker 4: Oh some, just some, So it must have been just
- 40:36Speaker 4: a few.
- 40:36Speaker 5: Then. Oh so the ones that were treating him well
- 40:38Speaker 5: were probably and he was like, I'm going to do
- 40:41Speaker 5: this to get the cock.
- 40:43Speaker 6: I help.
- 40:43Speaker 4: He parachuted in to his own funeral, I mean, came by.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Helicopter even better landed.
- 40:51Speaker 3: I give him props, and I think the family maybe
- 40:56Speaker 3: learned a lesson.
- 40:58Speaker 2: I don't understand if that got me.
- 41:00Speaker 4: I'm cutting that one off, but see your family member.
- 41:03Speaker 3: I feel like he probably didn't do it to the
- 41:05Speaker 3: people that it would traumatize.
- 41:06Speaker 4: If only some family members didn't know.
- 41:09Speaker 5: That means you know what I'm saying, cousins and cousins
- 41:13Speaker 5: and shit.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like I feel like he probably was
- 41:16Speaker 3: honest to the ones that would traumatize.
- 41:18Speaker 1: The stage funeral took place last week near Liege. I
- 41:21Speaker 1: think that's how you say it. After one of Barton's
- 41:24Speaker 1: daughters reportedly wrote a tribute to her father on social
- 41:27Speaker 1: media and said, rest in peace, daddy. I will never
- 41:30Speaker 1: stop thinking about you. Why is life so unfair? Why
- 41:34Speaker 1: you you were going to be a grandfather and you
- 41:37Speaker 1: still had your whole life ahead of you. I love you,
- 41:39Speaker 1: we love you, we will never forget. The prank did
- 41:42Speaker 1: not sit well with viewers, and many people criticize Barton
- 41:46Speaker 1: for being cruel to his family. Beyond cruel. Okay, okay,
- 41:52Speaker 1: my dad walked through the door right now, I liked it.
- 41:56Speaker 1: Do you know the pain that you fucking cat? You
- 42:00Speaker 1: don't need to worry about feeling loved because I officially
- 42:03Speaker 1: write you the fuck off. You're crazy.
- 42:06Speaker 4: If he did it to his own daughter.
- 42:08Speaker 3: My viewpoints of change, I figure like distant family, like
- 42:11Speaker 3: the daughter, the wife, the son.
- 42:12Speaker 4: They're in on it now. I'm that's yeah.
- 42:15Speaker 1: You know what a I don't want to say a
- 42:18Speaker 1: normal person, but a person with self love would do
- 42:21Speaker 1: if they're if distant family, if it was in fact
- 42:24Speaker 1: the way you're saying, didn't act like they loved him.
- 42:29Speaker 3: Fuck you your loss bite or go to therapy.
- 42:33Speaker 1: There's many many versions. Yours would be the healthiest. Mine's
- 42:37Speaker 1: a little abrupt.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Just like, don't spend all that money faking your own death,
- 42:44Speaker 3: go to therapy, right, I mean he.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Had to have some money if he was helicoptering in
- 42:49Speaker 1: to be like surprised. I'm alive right, and I feel
- 42:53Speaker 1: so loved that you're all here.
- 42:55Speaker 2: And crying goodbye.
- 42:57Speaker 1: I've wounded you for all eternity, but it was worth
- 42:59Speaker 1: it because now I feel loved. How selfish could you be?
- 43:05Speaker 1: I don't like it, Jazz, They're gonna make a movie
- 43:07Speaker 1: on it. Wow, that was almost not at all about
- 43:11Speaker 1: vander pump Rules. The entire episode. That felt so good.
- 43:14Speaker 1: I know things, Bravo, because I'm not caught up on anything.
- 43:18Speaker 1: I have to get caught up on OC. I have
- 43:20Speaker 1: to get caught up on Atlanta. Same same.
- 43:23Speaker 3: I counted three times I forgot we were recording because
- 43:26Speaker 3: I felt like we were just chatting it up.
- 43:28Speaker 4: So I don't know if that's a good sign or
- 43:29Speaker 4: bad sign.
- 43:30Speaker 1: I like.
- 43:30Speaker 2: I like it recording in here, Yeah you do.
- 43:33Speaker 5: Yeah, it's more intimate. It feels like a conversation more
- 43:36Speaker 5: than a production.
- 43:38Speaker 1: You mean with Howie too.
- 43:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it was fun though, well it's.
- 43:40Speaker 1: Howie Mandela, You're going to walk into some little shed.
- 43:44Speaker 5: I would have loved that.
- 43:46Speaker 1: It was great. The interview space was great. We had
- 43:48Speaker 1: great banter. Easton, you were amazing. That was the first
- 43:51Speaker 1: time you co hosted with a guest. It was really good.
- 43:55Speaker 2: Well, thank you guys.
- 43:56Speaker 1: You held your own. I thought, fingers crossed.
- 43:59Speaker 3: It comes out next week and then you'll see BTS
- 44:03Speaker 3: photos all of it.
- 44:04Speaker 1: Well, Bravo is my life, and I care about all
- 44:08Speaker 1: of their opinions and what they have to say. So
- 44:10Speaker 1: if they hear it and say no, go, then we
- 44:14Speaker 1: figure it out. But I'm falling in line. And I
- 44:17Speaker 1: think I only said the F word once once.
- 44:20Speaker 2: I said it more than you.
- 44:21Speaker 1: I think I'm trying to, like, really, I want to
- 44:24Speaker 1: ask you.
- 44:24Speaker 5: This on this side of it, is it weird to
- 44:29Speaker 5: have I don't know how it is for most of
- 44:31Speaker 5: your guests, but Howie and having a million things to
- 44:35Speaker 5: talk about and the only thing he wanted to talk
- 44:39Speaker 5: about is Bravo.
- 44:40Speaker 2: That was yeah, not how is it weird?
- 44:44Speaker 1: Well, I had like yes, and it's always weird. It's
- 44:47Speaker 1: like when I went to the White House Correspondence dinner
- 44:49Speaker 1: and thought that this was my chance to make a change,
- 44:52Speaker 1: and they were like, well enough about change it, Scott,
- 44:57Speaker 1: you know, and then I have so many questions for
- 44:59Speaker 1: how that had nothing to do and he was like
- 45:03Speaker 1: so scanned about and I'm like I was.
- 45:05Speaker 5: Even then trying to steer it away, even when I
- 45:07Speaker 5: was trying to, like when I was honestly interrupted you
- 45:10Speaker 5: and let me finish, I was like, with what I
- 45:12Speaker 5: was trying to say, it was going to fucking go
- 45:14Speaker 5: into a different direction, which hopefully would have taken him
- 45:16Speaker 5: off of a scandabal, which would have put him into
- 45:18Speaker 5: the conversation of his start.
- 45:21Speaker 2: But then once you said that and you finished, he
- 45:23Speaker 2: just went and I thought, fuck it.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Yeah. No, I think we had a great episode.
- 45:27Speaker 2: It was perfect.
- 45:27Speaker 1: It will come out. Yes. The one thing I want
- 45:29Speaker 1: to say that we didn't talk about today on the
- 45:33Speaker 1: mic with Howie was that when he did the interview
- 45:38Speaker 1: with Sandoval, his daughter came in wearing a send it
- 45:43Speaker 1: to Darryl's sweatshirt and how we said.
- 45:47Speaker 2: You got it and brought one for him. She brought
- 45:49Speaker 2: one for him.
- 45:50Speaker 3: Yeah, that was what they were talking about. Oh my god.
- 45:54Speaker 3: He said, you got to take it off.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Yeah, and she brought one for him to wear, and
- 45:58Speaker 1: he was like, we can't yet, and she we have
- 46:00Speaker 1: to remain neutral.
- 46:01Speaker 2: She was micromanaged.
- 46:03Speaker 4: Good for Jackie.
- 46:04Speaker 3: Jackie, she's very sweet and she has killed it every time.
- 46:08Speaker 3: It's like, I know that how we got dragged, but
- 46:11Speaker 3: I feel like and Jackie got like she said. I
- 46:14Speaker 3: was talking to her today and she was like, no,
- 46:15Speaker 3: I feel like I got dragged. But I'm like, I
- 46:16Speaker 3: saw a lot of people saying Jackie saved it.
- 46:19Speaker 2: I will say, no, she did.
- 46:20Speaker 5: There was a lot of things that she like, good
- 46:22Speaker 5: little side comments after how.
- 46:24Speaker 2: We would make it like his ranch. She would be like,
- 46:27Speaker 2: that's not the one.
- 46:30Speaker 4: She's like, people are gonna hate you believe it that.
- 46:31Speaker 2: She was like, I was kicking him under the table
- 46:33Speaker 2: the whole time.
- 46:35Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, no, it'll be I'm excited for it to
- 46:39Speaker 1: come out when it's supposed to come out. Yeah, all right,
- 46:41Speaker 1: my loves. I hope you enjoyed this tangent of an episode.
- 46:45Speaker 1: We hit some very high highs, some very folows. But
- 46:49Speaker 1: happy hump day, happy first day of filming Vander Pumperle's
- 46:53Speaker 1: Season eleven for me and we will catch you next week.
