Golf Gear Stolen Then Sold Online | Bend News
Golf gear worth $20,000 vanished from Brasada Ranch—clubs, bags, you name it. Sheriff’s deputies tracked the loot to Facebook Marketplace, where serial numbers gave them a smoking gun. They zeroed in on 44-year-old Matthew Wayne Chavis of Portland, linked him to a storage unit via security footage, and pulled him over in a sting operation.
