Transcript
- 0:05Speaker 1: Drama, Darling Drama, Darling Drama, Darling.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Hello, welcome back in Darlings. It's going to be a
- 0:23Speaker 2: next Jen n y C Day shocking. I know it's
- 0:27Speaker 2: been a minute since we've covered this. Joining me to
- 0:30Speaker 2: talk all things the kids of the Housewives and some
- 0:33Speaker 2: Rando's in New York City's Jamie Moyer, Hi, Jamels.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Hi, Amles. I welcome in.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Oh thank god, season Oh my God? Like okay, I
- 0:47Speaker 2: full transparency. They were, they were two I'm an overreactor.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Full transparency. There were I think maybe one or two
- 1:03Speaker 2: episodes I did not see, so I may have a
- 1:05Speaker 2: little bit of a blind spot, but I think for
- 1:06Speaker 2: the most part, I got the gist.
- 1:08Speaker 3: You know what I mean.
- 1:09Speaker 2: I got the gist of it.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Well.
- 1:11Speaker 4: I watch every episode front to back. I love I
- 1:15Speaker 4: think this is one of my favorite news shows. I'm
- 1:18Speaker 4: feeling about Next Gen in the way I felt about
- 1:20Speaker 4: Season one of The Valley What Yeah.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Yeah, wow Grave reviews from one Jamie Moyer.
- 1:30Speaker 4: I hear someone to tell me this show is not
- 1:34Speaker 4: fascinating and entertaining.
- 1:36Speaker 2: I think it's absolutely fantastic.
- 1:39Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:40Speaker 2: I never we bore to even think to put it
- 1:42Speaker 2: up against the Valley season one, and I don't know
- 1:45Speaker 2: if I can give it that high of Marx. However,
- 1:47Speaker 2: I do really love it, and I think that it's
- 1:49Speaker 2: I guess it's in its own category, in its own way.
- 1:51Speaker 2: It's really it's thriving. You know.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Well, I don't think it stands up to season one.
- 1:57Speaker 4: What I'm saying is my excitement, bless you. My excitement,
- 2:01Speaker 4: ah is at that level where I have not been
- 2:05Speaker 4: very excited for.
- 2:06Speaker 3: A show, a new show certainly.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Okay, now I'm picking up what you're laying down, and
- 2:13Speaker 2: I am feeling what you're feeling, you know.
- 2:16Speaker 4: There.
- 2:17Speaker 2: I wish that I didn't watch it like one at
- 2:20Speaker 2: a time in a way, because I would have loved
- 2:22Speaker 2: to have just binged it, because after I'm done with
- 2:25Speaker 2: one episode, I kind of feel like I would love
- 2:27Speaker 2: to keep watching this, and then that's what happened. Is
- 2:32Speaker 2: like then I would only watch the one and maybe
- 2:34Speaker 2: we'd recap it or not, and then I would be like,
- 2:38Speaker 2: I don't really feel like going back to it right now,
- 2:40Speaker 2: and I just don't have the time, and but then
- 2:42Speaker 2: when I do, I'm really delighted. So it's always hard
- 2:45Speaker 2: to like switch gears to get into it, but once
- 2:49Speaker 2: I'm in, I don't want to go.
- 2:50Speaker 4: Yeah, many of your darlings are probably the same. And
- 2:52Speaker 4: I'm telling you there's something about this show psychologically that
- 2:58Speaker 4: is very satisfying and it kind of taps into my
- 3:01Speaker 4: long ago theory.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Just go with me on a journey here, Amy Okay.
- 3:07Speaker 4: Robert Kardashian was a lawyer for the OJ trial and
- 3:11Speaker 4: one of OJ's dear friends when Kim Kardashian's sex tape dropped,
- 3:18Speaker 4: and then she got keeping up with the Kardashians on
- 3:20Speaker 4: E I believed part of the interest in that show
- 3:24Speaker 4: was simply the name recognition of Kardashian.
- 3:27Speaker 3: You probably heard me talk about this.
- 3:28Speaker 4: Oh absolutely yes, This next gen NYC has that extra
- 3:35Speaker 4: teaser and or extra level up, I should say, of
- 3:40Speaker 4: us watching some of these kids grow up on Housewives
- 3:45Speaker 4: and so we already are invested in them, kind of
- 3:50Speaker 4: what I believe about Kardashian. I think if Kardashian didn't
- 3:52Speaker 4: have the name recognition of the dad, it wouldn't have
- 3:55Speaker 4: floated for her.
- 3:56Speaker 3: There was not enough float. But the name grabs you.
- 3:59Speaker 4: So Brooks Marks, Riley Burris, Arianna Berman right, that that's
- 4:06Speaker 4: very the Ava Dash, Well I'm talking housewife, sirs, but.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Oh sorry, yes, yes, but Dash.
- 4:13Speaker 3: And then what's her name? Amira?
- 4:17Speaker 4: Amira, very excellent, interesting influencer, well known influencer. And then
- 4:24Speaker 4: the addition of the two people we never knew, Charlie
- 4:26Speaker 4: and Georgia, who are fascinating all on their own.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I am oh, Jamie, Bravo a standing o for that
- 4:35Speaker 2: recap one. I ended the season thinking, you know, the
- 4:41Speaker 2: character Georgia reminds me very much of Days of Yore
- 4:45Speaker 2: when The Gallery Girls were on. And I know you
- 4:47Speaker 2: didn't watch that show, but that was one of the
- 4:49Speaker 2: first shows on Bravo. I mean in terms of like
- 4:51Speaker 2: when they pivoted to reality television. It was such a
- 4:55Speaker 2: great show of youth. I mean, not you young adults
- 4:59Speaker 2: in New York in the art scene. And you know,
- 5:03Speaker 2: you gotta love this Gal's hustle in dirty hands, you know,
- 5:06Speaker 2: I mean she really at the end of the day,
- 5:10Speaker 2: you know they I wonder if they even extended the
- 5:14Speaker 2: season specifically because of her storyline, which ended up to
- 5:18Speaker 2: be quite fascinating at the end. There that was a
- 5:21Speaker 2: wild turn. But between she and Charlie, you know, you
- 5:26Speaker 2: can't you can't write this stuff. They're just living in
- 5:30Speaker 2: the fast paced you know lane of New York City.
- 5:33Speaker 4: That's one hundred percent. They are living in the fast
- 5:36Speaker 4: place name of New York City. They are not putting
- 5:38Speaker 4: on airs yet. They may not yet know how visible
- 5:41Speaker 4: this is. They're cementing themselves as pseudo celebrities, and they're
- 5:48Speaker 4: interesting as hell. And I'm interested in his relationship with
- 5:51Speaker 4: his dad. I'm interested in rich people in general. I
- 5:54Speaker 4: always wonder how people get their money, how they live.
- 5:57Speaker 4: I think his roommate, who's on the Only Fans, who's
- 6:01Speaker 4: a millionaire, is interesting.
- 6:02Speaker 3: I just am in it. And I think Georgia is,
- 6:06Speaker 3: Oh Gia. How could I forgotten Gia? Of course watch.
- 6:10Speaker 2: No I know Gia and Brooks, Well, Brooks we didn't
- 6:12Speaker 2: watch grow Up, but he's a new star, you know.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Georgia to me is Georgia and Charlie.
- 6:20Speaker 4: That relationship, that awful fight they had, then them getting together,
- 6:24Speaker 4: and so much so that they leave them all at
- 6:27Speaker 4: the gas station and get into an uber that her
- 6:30Speaker 4: boyfriend sends her. I mean, I'm like, give me more.
- 6:33Speaker 4: I don't need to be thinking about my life. Let
- 6:35Speaker 4: me watch this show. I fucking repeat, because this.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Is interesting when when Riley Burris was doing that obstacle course.
- 6:45Speaker 3: When they were.
- 6:47Speaker 2: And Arianna this was like the future that we never
- 6:52Speaker 2: knew we would get, and like the two of them
- 6:56Speaker 2: forming a friendship and Arianna wanting to make sure that
- 6:59Speaker 2: she doesn't screw this up, you know, is very important
- 7:04Speaker 2: to this whole storyline because and I love Ariana's heart,
- 7:08Speaker 2: Like you really realize how much of a good person
- 7:11Speaker 2: she actually is, which is pretty shocking, the considering what
- 7:15Speaker 2: she's been through and like who her mom is, you know.
- 7:18Speaker 2: And and so when the phone when Riley was walking
- 7:23Speaker 2: down that dog and she trips and the phone bounces
- 7:26Speaker 2: into the water, that that to me is just like
- 7:31Speaker 2: obviously extremely funny, you know, comically. But then you've got
- 7:36Speaker 2: Georgia who's just you know, kicking kicking down the dock
- 7:40Speaker 2: in a robe and hotel slippers, who then changes into
- 7:44Speaker 2: Charlie's tank and jumps the hell in.
- 7:49Speaker 4: It was so that part was Reality TV Chef's kiss
- 7:54Speaker 4: topped the bottom from the bounce, I mean, the trip,
- 7:58Speaker 4: the watching that happen in slow which has happened to me,
- 8:01Speaker 4: by the way, there was a time where I was
- 8:05Speaker 4: house sitting for our friend Sam, you know, Sam as
- 8:08Speaker 4: a pool and I was there the whole week and
- 8:10Speaker 4: I kept.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Reading this book that's right book.
- 8:13Speaker 4: In the pool, and I would walk around reading the
- 8:15Speaker 4: book and I'd have my phone. It was the last
- 8:18Speaker 4: day of the trip, the last day of me staying there.
- 8:23Speaker 4: I was to leave there that evening and I was
- 8:26Speaker 4: getting out of the pool and I had my phone
- 8:29Speaker 4: in my book.
- 8:30Speaker 3: And I pad thank you, Lisa.
- 8:34Speaker 4: I placed the phone on the cover of the book,
- 8:37Speaker 4: and the book cover was shiny as book covers be,
- 8:40Speaker 4: and that phone slid right into the pool like bloop.
- 8:44Speaker 2: It was meany Lee blooped itself into that pool.
- 8:50Speaker 3: And I went. I stood for a shock for about
- 8:52Speaker 3: one second.
- 8:52Speaker 4: I pulled it out. I started calling. I called Denise.
- 8:56Speaker 4: I'm like, my phone is all going pixelated. I get upstairs,
- 9:00Speaker 4: facetimeed Sam and Nicole. Sam's like, put it in some rice.
- 9:03Speaker 4: I go grab this rice. I put it in there.
- 9:05Speaker 3: He's like, not the buss moddy rice. That's the good rice.
- 9:10Speaker 3: And it was like a nightmare, you know. So that
- 9:12Speaker 3: moment was so funny.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you lived it. You lived it, and to
- 9:17Speaker 2: see it happen. But then the reveal after they both
- 9:21Speaker 2: now dove into muddy ass water. Then for Rioley to
- 9:27Speaker 2: be like, I guess I'll have to get my other phone.
- 9:29Speaker 3: The second phone. Phone.
- 9:32Speaker 2: We have a second phone. The call is coming from
- 9:35Speaker 2: inside the house. It was such a great reveal, y.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Kids.
- 9:41Speaker 2: I mean, my god, I'm gonna go ahead and I'm
- 9:45Speaker 2: going to mute you for a second. As they as
- 9:48Speaker 2: the fire trucks go by, it looks like someone drop
- 9:51Speaker 2: their phone in a pool nearby in the valley. Jamie,
- 9:54Speaker 2: don't you worry.
- 9:56Speaker 3: I won't go put a sky.
- 9:59Speaker 2: I actually, oh my god. But them going to the
- 10:05Speaker 2: Jersey Shore. I would love to talk about the fact
- 10:09Speaker 2: that Ava, the fact that she did not go because
- 10:13Speaker 2: she's made this choice to move to New York City
- 10:16Speaker 2: for her career and she had to go to this
- 10:18Speaker 2: Dulce Gabbana event that she was invited to that was
- 10:20Speaker 2: so important. And then Amirah just dragging her left and
- 10:25Speaker 2: right and being like I got invited to pop up.
- 10:30Speaker 2: And then for the day to finally come, she's stuck
- 10:35Speaker 2: in the Trump traffic, makes it there with thirty minutes
- 10:39Speaker 2: to spare. At the event, everything's cleaned up, no one's
- 10:43Speaker 2: around the pictures are bleak as hell. It was such
- 10:46Speaker 2: a waste. Why would she make the choice to do
- 10:50Speaker 2: that instead of going on a cast trip for a
- 10:52Speaker 2: show that she should be so lucky to be on.
- 10:55Speaker 2: What a horrific decision.
- 10:58Speaker 4: She feels, she feels she's interesting too. She feels to
- 11:03Speaker 4: me like she blew it. But I also think she
- 11:06Speaker 4: feels like, I don't want to be there with them,
- 11:08Speaker 4: and I don't give a fuck.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Yeah, she definitely is just marching to the beat of
- 11:12Speaker 2: her own drum, for sure, and we all live like
- 11:15Speaker 2: the amount of scenes that she has with her dad
- 11:17Speaker 2: where it's it's like a whole different show. It's just
- 11:20Speaker 2: her talking to her dad on the phone, facetiming having coffee.
- 11:25Speaker 2: You know, that's what that is. It's like a whole,
- 11:27Speaker 2: completely different show. She is not integrated with the cast
- 11:30Speaker 2: at this point. That cast trip was so important for
- 11:35Speaker 2: them for the first season, and she, I mean, Riley
- 11:39Speaker 2: was crying. People were like a mess, drunk, like everything
- 11:43Speaker 2: so much happened in one trip and you just can't
- 11:46Speaker 2: miss out on that. Not to mention, Brooks was upset
- 11:49Speaker 2: because it was his birthday, but it was really a
- 11:51Speaker 2: cast trip for a show you know. I mean, for sure,
- 11:55Speaker 2: I feel like she really messed up, and I don't
- 11:58Speaker 2: know if they're gonna be able to crack. I'm not
- 12:00Speaker 2: sure if we're going to see some vulnerability from her,
- 12:02Speaker 2: because that's what a lot of these trips are. It's
- 12:05Speaker 2: like boot camp. You have to be around, you have
- 12:08Speaker 2: to show up, you know, yeadn't camp.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Well, we know the ones, you know, like take take
- 12:13Speaker 4: a page out of Brittity's book. You can't fake it.
- 12:17Speaker 4: The real person pops out eventually. So yeah, she's over
- 12:20Speaker 4: here trying to put but oh my god, Amy, when
- 12:24Speaker 4: she walked into that bulling party and they said her
- 12:28Speaker 4: boyfriend's name was Hook Hook, I about look myself into
- 12:33Speaker 4: a mental facility because I was so delighted.
- 12:40Speaker 2: The way that they were walking like two statues, and
- 12:43Speaker 2: he had the umbrella somewhat in front of her. I
- 12:46Speaker 2: was like, is that her bodyguard? Is that her escort?
- 12:49Speaker 2: Is that like? And he looked like a cartoon character
- 12:52Speaker 2: because his beanie was covering his eyes almost entirely, and
- 12:56Speaker 2: I thought, I am concerned he's going to trip and fall.
- 13:00Speaker 4: It was nearly asleep, he was, he was eighty percent
- 13:02Speaker 4: of sleep. And his name is hook, and so at
- 13:05Speaker 4: first I was like, you got to be shitty me,
- 13:08Speaker 4: like I just hook.
- 13:10Speaker 3: Later, when they showed a picture of them.
- 13:11Speaker 4: I thought, oh, he's a boxer, so it's more like
- 13:13Speaker 4: a right hook left hook.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Yes, I but see, here's the thing I wondered, if
- 13:18Speaker 2: so is that that's not his real name. That's just
- 13:21Speaker 2: like his made up name. Yeah, I'm saying that publish
- 13:29Speaker 2: public television.
- 13:30Speaker 3: That is not his real name. His real name is
- 13:32Speaker 3: probably David Thompson. Okay, is his moniker?
- 13:38Speaker 2: Okay, thank you? I'm sorry. At first, I thought, oh,
- 13:41Speaker 2: I bet you. He's the son of famous people who
- 13:46Speaker 2: are just a bunch of like rich assholes. Are like,
- 13:48Speaker 2: we're gonna name our son hook, you know, after Captain
- 13:52Speaker 2: Hook because we love Peter Van and like so then so,
- 13:57Speaker 2: so that's where I was. And then cut to that
- 13:59Speaker 2: picture and I nely was like oh that. I was like, oh,
- 14:04Speaker 2: that said another pop up party. It was a photo
- 14:07Speaker 2: up and they're just dressed up in character. You know,
- 14:10Speaker 2: that's legit what I thought. So, is he a real boxer?
- 14:15Speaker 1: Yes?
- 14:15Speaker 4: Okay, okay, okay, I love I love the mental journeys.
- 14:19Speaker 3: You and I both go on. I wish to Darley's could.
- 14:21Speaker 4: See our next friend about going to see Maddie's show,
- 14:25Speaker 4: and how we just kept misunderstanding each other.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Oh, like we both need handlers.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Like, no, that was all me. I was. It was though,
- 14:36Speaker 2: because you had all the receipts. You literally Jamie took
- 14:40Speaker 2: a screenshot of her calendar, which is written, by the way,
- 14:45Speaker 2: she has a written calendar, and it said, like Maddie's
- 14:49Speaker 2: play Sunday, twelve o'clock, and this whole time I had
- 14:53Speaker 2: like thought she was coming it's Saturday. Anyway. The whole
- 14:56Speaker 2: thing is it was me because like my parents were
- 14:58Speaker 2: coming to town. I had a million things going on.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Matty's got these play rehearsals up the wazoo, like in
- 15:06Speaker 2: another country basically that I have to drive to. My
- 15:08Speaker 2: mind was scattered.
- 15:10Speaker 4: So we both you were like, can you see this
- 15:13Speaker 4: this ticket? And I was like, no, I can't figure
- 15:15Speaker 4: this link out and I don't have to try.
- 15:18Speaker 3: My life is a shambles.
- 15:19Speaker 4: It was so I love when we It's probably happened
- 15:22Speaker 4: to us maybe like probably six or seven times in
- 15:25Speaker 4: our friendship where we are together, we're like it's squared
- 15:31Speaker 4: and we're both like like we just are like, we.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Don't don't know what I know?
- 15:38Speaker 2: I know, Okay, I looked up Hook. He is a
- 15:41Speaker 2: wrestler on Wikipedia. It says, oh wow, look at his face,
- 15:46Speaker 2: because he's got like he's got quite the face for
- 15:49Speaker 2: a wrestler.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Hook wrestler.
- 15:52Speaker 2: His name, you were not off when you said David Thompson.
- 15:56Speaker 2: His name is Tyler Cole. Okay, but his last.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Ten guesses I could have got to Tyler call for
- 16:04Speaker 3: But there.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Is another last name, and it's Sinarcia. He was born
- 16:10Speaker 2: in ninety nine. He's an American professional wrestler. He is
- 16:15Speaker 2: wrestling with a ae W under the ring name Hook
- 16:20Speaker 2: and so that is not his actual name, Amy Phillips.
- 16:23Speaker 2: It says, they're you idiot, could.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Have been you know, Hook could be a last name too.
- 16:30Speaker 4: His Felicia and Thomas Hook. I mean it's possible. His parents, Thomas.
- 16:40Speaker 2: He aligning himself with his father Taz as Team Taz
- 16:45Speaker 2: It's Going. It's Going, also consisting of Brian Cage, Ricky Starks,
- 16:49Speaker 2: and Powerhouse Hobbes. So if you're a wrestling fan, like
- 16:54Speaker 2: you know all about this, uh and you know that
- 16:57Speaker 2: this is obviously a family business. Now he's obviously following
- 17:01Speaker 2: in his father's footsteps. Okay, well, this is very exciting.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Good for her, good for him.
- 17:07Speaker 3: They're cute. Powerhouse Hobbs though, what a dick that guy.
- 17:13Speaker 2: I don't know why?
- 17:13Speaker 4: Tell this is his real name too, It's Powerhouse Aaron
- 17:18Speaker 4: Hobbs PA.
- 17:22Speaker 2: But when they walked in, I thought you were going
- 17:24Speaker 2: to say, okay, So that was an amazing moment. Then,
- 17:28Speaker 2: and I had to rewind because I was like, did
- 17:30Speaker 2: that seriously say Hook?
- 17:33Speaker 3: I wanted to get a look at him.
- 17:34Speaker 4: I wanted to make sure I was not wrong when
- 17:36Speaker 4: I saw the name Hook. I was in there like
- 17:39Speaker 4: a detective, and I reround that phone bounce too, maybe twice,
- 17:42Speaker 4: and then for us also three additional times.
- 17:48Speaker 2: We can always count on them to do that for us.
- 17:52Speaker 2: So then, wait, I thought you were going to say.
- 17:54Speaker 2: I almost died when when Ava walked in to that
- 17:59Speaker 2: bar area when they were talking about her, when Brooks
- 18:02Speaker 2: and Arianna were talking about her, and Arianna was like, oh,
- 18:06Speaker 2: you're there, I was just saying that, and she was
- 18:09Speaker 2: so funny. She abandoned ship in the middle of trying
- 18:14Speaker 2: to defend what she thought she was getting busted for,
- 18:16Speaker 2: which really wasn't anything at all. And then she was like,
- 18:18Speaker 2: I don't know what. I'm not dealing with this, I'm
- 18:21Speaker 2: not involved. And then she just like scooted forward, as
- 18:23Speaker 2: if scooting forward on the bar made her invisible.
- 18:26Speaker 4: It was amazing, hilarious. Can we talk about her for
- 18:31Speaker 4: a second.
- 18:31Speaker 3: I love Arianna h hmm.
- 18:35Speaker 4: And I want to reiterate to you she is being
- 18:38Speaker 4: so herself and she's got such a good head on
- 18:41Speaker 4: her shoulders. Yeah, and so much more mature. This sounds
- 18:46Speaker 4: terrible than Brielle.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Well, no, of course, And I'm actually just wondering, do
- 18:52Speaker 2: you think that Brielle is, you know, feeling any kind
- 18:57Speaker 2: of way about her being on the show. And she's not.
- 19:00Speaker 3: I'm certain she is. I'm certain she is.
- 19:03Speaker 4: But but Arianna also has what the hell is his name?
- 19:08Speaker 3: Hunter? Wait?
- 19:13Speaker 4: Wils No, No, what's arian His boyfriend's name was also
- 19:17Speaker 4: on the show, Hunter Shrank.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Wait.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Why am I forgetting his name?
- 19:23Speaker 3: I don't even know.
- 19:24Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't know.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Whatever.
- 19:27Speaker 4: It doesn't matter, No, it does, because there I have
- 19:29Speaker 4: something to say about him.
- 19:30Speaker 2: It doesn't matter, of course it matters. He's great. I
- 19:33Speaker 2: will look it up, but go ahead and you make
- 19:36Speaker 2: yours rich.
- 19:37Speaker 4: He's and his family has money, so as a couple
- 19:41Speaker 4: they make sense. And also they're a twenty two year old,
- 19:44Speaker 4: highly committed couple, which is adorable.
- 19:47Speaker 3: So Brielle, I think, is.
- 19:51Speaker 4: A little too probably to the Bravo people, maybe felt
- 19:54Speaker 4: maybe a little too thirsty.
- 19:56Speaker 3: I feel bad saying it.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Hudson, who's too thirsty?
- 20:01Speaker 4: Oh, the producers might have felt Brielle to thirsty. And frankly,
- 20:05Speaker 4: the producers.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Are no fools.
- 20:06Speaker 4: They know about Riley and Ariana having that friendship. They
- 20:10Speaker 4: know that that's a hook and you know that, so
- 20:21Speaker 4: that right, there's an.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Anchor for them.
- 20:22Speaker 4: Yeah, and the Brooks friendship with Emira and Ava is
- 20:28Speaker 4: an anchor. You need anchors on shows like this.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Sometimes you know that there is some you know, authenticity
- 20:36Speaker 2: to the way that this cast is connected, you know,
- 20:40Speaker 2: in the Real Housewives world and in this nether world
- 20:45Speaker 2: of you know, the Hooks and the Charlie's. You know,
- 20:48Speaker 2: because Brooks, oh my gosh, Brooks and Hooks, Brooks.
- 20:53Speaker 3: Our new store. It's a broth storg.
- 20:56Speaker 2: It's a prost. It's yes, and it's there's no underwire.
- 21:05Speaker 2: You've got a lot of flexibility you can sleep in it? Yes, yeah,
- 21:12Speaker 2: because Brooks's friends with Charlie, so that's how that was connected,
- 21:17Speaker 2: you know, and then we've got obviously then Charlie is
- 21:20Speaker 2: our gateway to Georgia and to who else?
- 21:26Speaker 3: Is it? Ava? Maybe Asa Georgia?
- 21:29Speaker 4: Definitely Georgia and Mira Amira and Brooks friends brook.
- 21:33Speaker 3: As well gateway and recreational drugs.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Because gateway to that Roland.
- 21:39Speaker 4: He's rolling once everywhere and that's something to do with
- 21:42Speaker 4: his dad is Dad's like, oh you ever going to
- 21:44Speaker 4: get it together?
- 21:45Speaker 3: He's like, I don't know, can I get ten thousand?
- 21:47Speaker 4: I mean, it's just rich kids have always fascinated me
- 21:52Speaker 4: from the from the moment I was born. I'm like,
- 21:55Speaker 4: how did rich people in general? And I literally always
- 21:59Speaker 4: ask how did they get their money? Like I find
- 22:01Speaker 4: it fascinating.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Did you buy any chance? See this hilarious TikTok? I
- 22:05Speaker 2: cannot tell you who the creator was, but it's just
- 22:08Speaker 2: the perspective of somebody who's on a boat. So you
- 22:12Speaker 2: just see their shot to like houses on the shore.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I think they're maybe the Hamptons or whatever, and they're
- 22:19Speaker 2: huge houses and it's just quick shots of this person
- 22:22Speaker 2: yelling from the middle of the lake and being like, what.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Do you do for a living?
- 22:27Speaker 2: How did you kiss your money? It's like, well we
- 22:33Speaker 2: all wonder, right, yes.
- 22:34Speaker 4: I was like, that is my sister from another myster
- 22:37Speaker 4: I cannot tell you. Like even out here, when I
- 22:39Speaker 4: first moved out here, there were people who didn't work,
- 22:42Speaker 4: and like one person I'm specifically thinking of, I was like,
- 22:45Speaker 4: how I asked my friend and they're like, well, her
- 22:48Speaker 4: husband's father invented whatever.
- 22:51Speaker 3: I can't really say, but it's like it's like.
- 22:53Speaker 4: You know, so be cause they're just like you go
- 22:56Speaker 4: to their house, you know, and you're like, huh, you're rich,
- 23:00Speaker 4: you know you right? You kind of put it in
- 23:03Speaker 4: the bohemium cheek where you wouldn't know they were their house,
- 23:07Speaker 4: and you're like, oh, everything's kind of minimalistic. But I
- 23:09Speaker 4: just locked up eighty stares to get up in here, right?
- 23:13Speaker 1: You rich?
- 23:16Speaker 3: How you rich?
- 23:17Speaker 2: And speaking of Charlie, he when Georgia was like Omar
- 23:21Speaker 2: and I moved in together and he had just took
- 23:24Speaker 2: a hit of his bong. He's like dope.
- 23:26Speaker 4: I mean, you know, their friendship, that fight, that terrible
- 23:34Speaker 4: fight they had, and they're like this is irreparable. And
- 23:37Speaker 4: it's like one scene later they're sharing a hot dog
- 23:40Speaker 4: in the same mouths, Like it was just unbelievable.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, it just goes to show like there
- 23:45Speaker 2: is the only age difference the gauge. The only age
- 23:49Speaker 2: gap that is really notable is Charlie. You know he
- 23:52Speaker 2: is thirty. Well, I guess he's almost thirty, you know,
- 23:57Speaker 2: because that's his arc this whole season is I'm almost thirty.
- 24:00Speaker 2: I'm almost thirty. But everyone else is extremely young, Like
- 24:04Speaker 2: I think Riley is only twenty two. I mean, you
- 24:07Speaker 2: just it's they're so young. Brooks bab how about the scene. Well,
- 24:13Speaker 2: let me take a quick break and we'll talk about
- 24:14Speaker 2: Brooks and his mom and dad. We'll be right back.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Long Live Amy. That's what it said when I signed
- 24:20Speaker 2: up at Function Health. I am so obsessed with Function Health.
- 24:24Speaker 2: You've heard me talk about it. You're already on this
- 24:26Speaker 2: journey with me just by listening. I hope you join me.
- 24:29Speaker 2: I have a code. I will read it at the end,
- 24:31Speaker 2: and it's in my podcast notes. I chose function because
- 24:34Speaker 2: it's the only health platform that gives you access to
- 24:36Speaker 2: the kind of data that most people never see. Don't
- 24:40Speaker 2: you want to see what's going on in your body.
- 24:42Speaker 2: You know there are insights that you can actually learn
- 24:45Speaker 2: so you can take action. I just scheduled my labs.
- 24:48Speaker 2: It's so easy to do on the function platform. You
- 24:52Speaker 2: go to your local Quest diagnostics. Of course, you know
- 24:55Speaker 2: I'm up here in Santa Claritas, so I'm going to
- 24:57Speaker 2: go to one close to me. And it's so simple.
- 24:59Speaker 2: The PLATF gathers all the information for you after you
- 25:02Speaker 2: do your labs, and I am about to do one
- 25:06Speaker 2: hundred plus labs. I'm talking autoimmunity, female health, heavy metals, kidney, pancreas, thyroid, electrolytes, heart.
- 25:15Speaker 2: I mean, I could continue on, but I'm so thrilled
- 25:18Speaker 2: that I get to get these labs done. And Function
- 25:20Speaker 2: Health is going to give me a near three sixty
- 25:22Speaker 2: view to see what's happening in my body. That's why
- 25:25Speaker 2: top health leaders like doctor Mark Hyman, doctor Andrew Huberman,
- 25:30Speaker 2: and doctor Jeremy London are all behind Function Health. So
- 25:33Speaker 2: let me ask you this, is there a new normal
- 25:35Speaker 2: because normal has changed. A normal skincare routine twenty years ago,
- 25:40Speaker 2: bar soap, apricots, scrub and now a five step process
- 25:43Speaker 2: of serums, actives, slugging, red light masks, you name it,
- 25:48Speaker 2: it doesn't stop overtime. Taxis became ride shares, TV became streaming,
- 25:52Speaker 2: and maps became GPS. But healthcare normal has stayed in
- 25:57Speaker 2: the past. Your normal annual less US twenty basic markers,
- 26:01Speaker 2: no hormones, no inflammation, no metabolic insight. And if those
- 26:06Speaker 2: limited tests came back in range, you were told you're
- 26:08Speaker 2: fine even when he didn't feel fine. So let's be honest.
- 26:12Speaker 2: If the old version of normal worked, we'd all feel
- 26:15Speaker 2: better than we do. Function is what happens when healthcare
- 26:18Speaker 2: catches up. The first health membership gives you access to
- 26:22Speaker 2: one hundred plus biomarkers across the whole body hormones, metabolism, inflammation, heart, liver.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Plus you can add MRIs and see T scans too,
- 26:31Speaker 2: medical grade insights tracked over time, explained in plain language.
- 26:35Speaker 2: And thank you for that function because I really need
- 26:37Speaker 2: plain language to help me out. Function can help you
- 26:40Speaker 2: stop guessing with advanced tests like T three free, T
- 26:43Speaker 2: four free, tgab antibodies and TPO antibodies. The list goes on,
- 26:49Speaker 2: I want to be proactive about my health. We talk
- 26:51Speaker 2: about how important it is to know what's going on
- 26:54Speaker 2: in our bodies. And this summer, I'm so grateful because
- 26:57Speaker 2: I am figuring this out and I'm doing it on
- 26:59Speaker 2: my term. It's so great to know that there's another
- 27:02Speaker 2: option to figure out what's happening in your body from
- 27:05Speaker 2: such a trustworthy source. I can't wait to get my results.
- 27:08Speaker 2: I can't wait to share it with you, guys. I

- 27:32Speaker 2: I've been living on the os one shield, the tinted
- 27:35Speaker 2: SPF thirty this summer, of course. But have you heard
- 27:38Speaker 2: about One Skin's scalp serum, the os one hair. Okay,
- 27:42Speaker 2: people are raving about it. I've been using it since
- 27:45Speaker 2: they launched a few months ago, and I'm already obsessed.
- 27:48Speaker 2: As if I couldn't be more obsessed with One Skin.
- 27:51Speaker 2: If you're familiar, you know about their patented os one peptide.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Because I've talked about their peptides. You know it's the

- 28:07Speaker 2: related hair loss and thinning. We'll listen to this. The
- 28:10Speaker 2: reviews are in. People are saying, my hairs never felt

- 28:18Speaker 2: they're saying, I started three months ago and I'm seeing
- 28:21Speaker 2: new little hairs on my scalp line. One customer even wrote,
- 28:25Speaker 2: I have tried everything for hair growth, and finally I'm
- 28:28Speaker 2: getting a response from my hair. And it's not just talk.
- 28:31Speaker 2: One Skin scientists did a clinical study showing that after
- 28:34Speaker 2: six months, participants had significantly thicker and denser hair. If

- 31:17Speaker 2: talking next, jen NYC. I'm with Jamie Moyer. So Jamie,
- 31:21Speaker 2: remember when we have Brooks Marx, who he is just
- 31:27Speaker 2: being pulled in two different directions. He's got his Brooks
- 31:29Speaker 2: Marks brand and he's got the Meredith Marx brand, and
- 31:33Speaker 2: he has been working for her for ten years. He
- 31:35Speaker 2: started her Instagram, I mean, her social media, and now
- 31:38Speaker 2: he's going to want to branch off and just focus
- 31:40Speaker 2: on his Brooks Marks brand. And the fact that he
- 31:43Speaker 2: came in with and presented a shark tank pitch to
- 31:47Speaker 2: them was so good, unexpected, unexpected.
- 31:52Speaker 3: Good, very good.
- 31:54Speaker 4: I loved it. I mean, he said, you know, I'm
- 31:56Speaker 4: not just asking for it, but he is. You know,
- 31:58Speaker 4: he knows they're going to give it to him whatever
- 32:00Speaker 4: he asked for.
- 32:01Speaker 3: It was so cool.
- 32:02Speaker 4: I loved his pitch and I think he was smart
- 32:06Speaker 4: not to go.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Under her company.
- 32:09Speaker 4: It's better to have him be separate no matter what,
- 32:12Speaker 4: You'll always be together and.
- 32:14Speaker 3: Not me crying, not me crying when they.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Had not hook crying. Couldn't see his tears though, because
- 32:20Speaker 2: that Beanie was covering, but you bet he was No,
- 32:25Speaker 2: it was beautifrying.
- 32:26Speaker 4: That was so beautiful and like Meredith is so proud
- 32:31Speaker 4: of him, but you know, it did hurt her feelings
- 32:33Speaker 4: a little bit, like at some point when you're a parent,
- 32:35Speaker 4: you have to check your own feelings and understand that
- 32:39Speaker 4: he needs to branch out.
- 32:40Speaker 3: But I could see that whole thing.
- 32:42Speaker 4: And I've always liked Brooks, and I've always liked Meredith
- 32:45Speaker 4: and Seth and after this, I like her Meredith Moore even.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Oh love her more and I love Seth even more.
- 32:50Speaker 2: I love Seth. I love that he Brooks was like,
- 32:53Speaker 2: you're a potential investor and they joda that and He's like,
- 32:57Speaker 2: I'm a potential investor.
- 33:00Speaker 3: He was like, I'm trying to get to fluid.
- 33:05Speaker 2: So he really has the greatest dad jokes, Like he's
- 33:09Speaker 2: fun and I love that. He was like, I just
- 33:12Speaker 2: love you, Brooks. I just You're just fascinating to watch.
- 33:15Speaker 2: I was like, is he a nature program for you?
- 33:17Speaker 2: Like what are you trying to say? Like this isn't
- 33:20Speaker 2: Tom Hanks the Americas? You know, Like what He's just like,
- 33:24Speaker 2: I just love you know, He's just on his own
- 33:27Speaker 2: planet and I love that for him. And he's so
- 33:30Speaker 2: high energy surrounded by an entire family of the most
- 33:35Speaker 2: not low vibration in a bad way like that they're
- 33:38Speaker 2: giving no, you know, good energy to the world, just
- 33:41Speaker 2: low vibration in terms of energy level.
- 33:44Speaker 3: They all are.
- 33:45Speaker 4: They're like, would you like a pancake? And the sister's like,
- 33:49Speaker 4: I'm me. I'm having gluten free waffles. Brooks is like,
- 33:53Speaker 4: I've never had a waffle and says like, I want
- 33:55Speaker 4: to be fluid.
- 33:56Speaker 3: I know.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Like there are conversations when Brooks and Chloe are talking
- 34:00Speaker 2: and he's like, I just think that I want to
- 34:03Speaker 2: maybe branch out and not be under Mom's umbrella, and
- 34:10Speaker 2: then she's like, I don't know if that's the best idea.
- 34:15Speaker 2: If we were going to be talking about that, I
- 34:17Speaker 2: would be like, I don't know what's I want to
- 34:20Speaker 2: branch out. I'm not sure if I should do this,
- 34:22Speaker 2: And you'd be like, look, look, look, look, look, here's
- 34:24Speaker 2: the thing. You know, like it's just completely different vibe.
- 34:28Speaker 2: You know, it's so weird to listen to.
- 34:31Speaker 4: Yeah, one hundred percent. I would love to see them
- 34:34Speaker 4: have a fight. Like you told.
- 34:36Speaker 3: Mom I was out last night till seven. No I didn't, Chloe, Yes,
- 34:41Speaker 3: you did.
- 34:41Speaker 4: Brooks Like, yeah, by the way, healthy, healthy, healthy romantic
- 34:47Speaker 4: relationships abound on this show as well. Brooks's boyfriend sweetheart,
- 34:52Speaker 4: I'm here's boyfriend sweetheart, Hudson sweetheart Omar. That's a weird
- 34:59Speaker 4: relationship step into that point.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Okay, Well, she's clearly using him for money. I mean
- 35:04Speaker 2: that's just what I get. You know, like she she's
- 35:07Speaker 2: like the wind. I think she's pretty, She's.
- 35:12Speaker 3: Through the trees.
- 35:14Speaker 2: She's opening club glove in the dreams club club Club Club,
- 35:19Speaker 2: shut up, club Club.
- 35:22Speaker 4: Mazzarella's fixed and orange juice the color of the sun.
- 35:27Speaker 3: That's forget that.
- 35:29Speaker 4: Yeah, that relationship by the way, Okay, can I just
- 35:31Speaker 4: dissect on Mark for a second.
- 35:33Speaker 3: I don't like how mir was like google.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Him several times.
- 35:37Speaker 3: I didn't do Did you do that? No?
- 35:40Speaker 2: I just took her for her word.
- 35:43Speaker 3: We do the thirty second google.
- 35:45Speaker 2: I don't know his last name, but okay, all right.
- 35:48Speaker 4: I googled it basically his whatever those results were have
- 35:52Speaker 4: been overshadowed by their breakup.
- 35:53Speaker 3: News, so skip down.
- 35:55Speaker 4: But but he is interesting, and there was that fight
- 35:59Speaker 4: at the restaurant did you cock this? Where where he
- 36:03Speaker 4: said I love you and she goes I don't know
- 36:05Speaker 4: that you mean it. You said it to that other
- 36:07Speaker 4: girl two weeks in. You know, I'm not into it,
- 36:10Speaker 4: and she's like popped off on him. And when he
- 36:12Speaker 4: said I love you, I thought that was very interesting. Yeah,
- 36:15Speaker 4: their relationship was very bizarre. Obviously he has money, but
- 36:18Speaker 4: also his screwed shirt, his suits always looked a little rumpled.
- 36:21Speaker 3: To me, he looked a little.
- 36:22Speaker 2: He looks rumpled, like he's sleeping in his office. You know.
- 36:26Speaker 2: That's the vibe I get is he he's making a
- 36:28Speaker 2: lot of money, but he's just getting by. And even
- 36:31Speaker 2: though they he has this apartment that's expensive. Something tells
- 36:36Speaker 2: me he has to jump around from apartment to apartment
- 36:39Speaker 2: and in the meantime sleeps in his office under his desk.
- 36:42Speaker 4: Could be something of that nature. Yeah, it looks like it.
- 36:45Speaker 4: Abe he's right under the desk with a pillow.
- 36:47Speaker 3: It could be.
- 36:48Speaker 4: And also about them, he he obviously has his conversation
- 36:55Speaker 4: with Charlie. They they want to get to get get
- 36:57Speaker 4: back together with the business, but he and her have
- 37:01Speaker 4: such a fight that he throws her out while she's
- 37:04Speaker 4: in Singapore.
- 37:05Speaker 3: Were they both in Singapore together? I kind of couldn't.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Yes, they were in Singapore because that was the only
- 37:10Speaker 2: week of the year that he has off, so they
- 37:12Speaker 2: went on this vacation, they got into a fight. We
- 37:16Speaker 2: have no idea what happened. Then the next thing you know,
- 37:19Speaker 2: he had his assistant pack up all of her things
- 37:22Speaker 2: in his apartment and put them bring them, had them
- 37:25Speaker 2: shipped over to Charlie's. And so when she came back
- 37:29Speaker 2: from Singapore, she went directly over to Charlie's.
- 37:31Speaker 1: That's right.
- 37:33Speaker 4: Whatever she said during that fight, that was it, because
- 37:37Speaker 4: because I didn't get the vibe that she wanted her
- 37:39Speaker 4: shit packed up like that, and she kind of said
- 37:41Speaker 4: something like, yeah, after what happened, there's no going back
- 37:44Speaker 4: for me. Like I think maybe she just went off
- 37:47Speaker 4: on him in such a weird way. I find her
- 37:49Speaker 4: fascinating when she said she didn't grow up with the money.
- 37:52Speaker 4: Her father has a second second family.
- 37:54Speaker 3: She has that.
- 37:55Speaker 4: Vibe of someone who didn't grow up with money, but
- 37:57Speaker 4: who will be rich and who people think is cool.
- 38:00Speaker 2: And she is super eccentric, Like she's.
- 38:03Speaker 3: Very eccentric because she doesn't care what people think.
- 38:06Speaker 4: She just does not give two f's about what people
- 38:09Speaker 4: think of her.
- 38:10Speaker 3: And that is probably a great.
- 38:12Speaker 4: Mark of an influencer because she's just herself, right, Yeah,
- 38:16Speaker 4: just you know, kind of shuffling around in a hotel
- 38:19Speaker 4: bathrobe and like her legs are real bruised up.
- 38:23Speaker 2: You know, she's just she's crawling around. She's not afraid
- 38:26Speaker 2: to get her hands dirty and to keep them a.
- 38:28Speaker 4: Little longstocking vibe. She got a little tomboy vibe. She
- 38:31Speaker 4: got a little like I'll get your keys out of
- 38:33Speaker 4: your house because I'll scale your house.
- 38:35Speaker 3: And going through the attic window vibe.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Yeah. And for her to show up at club club
- 38:40Speaker 2: for this this pitch the investors like she just left
- 38:45Speaker 2: a gas station because you know, with gas station clothes on,
- 38:50Speaker 2: because she was stranded and her her luggage was stolen
- 38:54Speaker 2: so she had to buy gas station clothes and her
- 38:56Speaker 2: hair is still dirty from walking those ten miles the
- 39:00Speaker 2: gas station. Like she what kind of presentation is that?
- 39:04Speaker 2: Like why aren't you in club wear?
- 39:06Speaker 3: But maybe they like it.
- 39:08Speaker 4: I mean, you know, obviously if she first of all
- 39:11Speaker 4: though club club huge misstep. It is a bad idea.
- 39:15Speaker 4: Riley was right, it's a dumb idea. I think that
- 39:18Speaker 4: she biffed it on that. Her other club idea is
- 39:20Speaker 4: how she does. It is very cool and she probably
- 39:23Speaker 4: could become very rich throwing avant garde. There's a there's
- 39:28Speaker 4: a goat at our party. There's a chicken coop at
- 39:31Speaker 4: the party. Vibes like, but bowling is too mundane and
- 39:36Speaker 4: bowling gets Bowling is too much people isolating at a club.
- 39:43Speaker 4: You want people lightly intermingling, and you don't want them
- 39:47Speaker 4: spreading out and bowling, and you don't want them running
- 39:49Speaker 4: shoes and no one at a club wants to Like
- 39:52Speaker 4: Gias showed a shoes off and she looked with those
- 39:55Speaker 4: shoes on it.
- 39:56Speaker 2: Why no one wants to rene. You're so right, that's
- 39:59Speaker 2: a great point. I mean feather bowling, that's a different story.
- 40:02Speaker 3: You know, bless works wonderfully in Detroit at.
- 40:05Speaker 2: The catch a Cafe. Shout out, catch a Cafe. But
- 40:09Speaker 2: like that actually is a great idea because you don't
- 40:13Speaker 2: have to change your shoes. It's dirty, which is right
- 40:15Speaker 2: up her alley. But you remember that one random girl
- 40:20Speaker 2: that was like leaving and she was like rodeo bull
- 40:24Speaker 2: bull riding and the guy's like, she likes bull riding.
- 40:27Speaker 2: You know, throw a bull riding apparatus in there, you know,
- 40:31Speaker 2: make it a weird club with several different activities that
- 40:36Speaker 2: you can get to. I mean, the insurance is going
- 40:38Speaker 2: to be you know, Skyrocket, but.
- 40:43Speaker 3: You know, yeah, not is bowling. I'm with you, Amy.
- 40:46Speaker 4: If it was like there's a Nintendo room and there's
- 40:50Speaker 4: bowling and there's a hot pocket station, you know, if
- 40:53Speaker 4: you're going to like.
- 40:54Speaker 2: You yeah, it's like that's so good. You should be
- 40:58Speaker 2: in charge of this. I mean for sure, But I
- 41:00Speaker 2: think like if there is, if it's like a weird
- 41:03Speaker 2: dave Inbusters, you know, just a brass tacks Davenbusters, you
- 41:09Speaker 2: could be getting somewhere. You know Stefan from Saturday Night Live,
- 41:13Speaker 2: the character that's like it's got everything. So it's like
- 41:17Speaker 2: you're kind of taking from that and making it. But
- 41:20Speaker 2: we could talk about what club Club could be all day.
- 41:23Speaker 2: But now they're broken up. And the funniest thing is
- 41:26Speaker 2: when everybody reacted in their confessional or wherever they were,
- 41:29Speaker 2: they were like, oh, but what about club Club? And
- 41:32Speaker 2: then someone was like, well what about the bowling Alley?
- 41:36Speaker 4: I do like the name club club that it's very catchy. Yeah,
- 41:40Speaker 4: their breakup was shocking. I think that the last episode though,
- 41:45Speaker 4: did you notice something? What the hell was going on
- 41:48Speaker 4: at that last episode. They have a great season, and
- 41:52Speaker 4: then why are the cameras just showing us a touch
- 41:55Speaker 4: of fall, a touch of winter, and a touch of spring.
- 41:57Speaker 4: Do you think that was wady to find out if
- 41:59Speaker 4: they had a picker?
- 42:01Speaker 2: So I was wondering about that too, because it basically
- 42:05Speaker 2: is like, yeah, they the end the season at Club
- 42:08Speaker 2: Club with this soft pitch, and everyone's like, I was wrong.
- 42:12Speaker 2: It looks like it could work, you know. Then it's
- 42:15Speaker 2: like a skip forward to where are they now? And
- 42:20Speaker 2: we have updates on them and they're in a completely
- 42:23Speaker 2: different season. Like you said, we have Brooks who's now
- 42:27Speaker 2: going and looking at fabrics. Everyone just loves to go
- 42:30Speaker 2: look at fabrics with no designs Omar and Georgia they
- 42:36Speaker 2: they're broken up, well actually I'm sorry. They'd moved in together.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Then they broke up and she posted that TikTok, and
- 42:43Speaker 2: then we have Arianna closing the show with her journey
- 42:50Speaker 2: becoming a New Yorker. I do think it was a
- 42:53Speaker 2: clunky and weird ending, and I'm wondering if they just
- 42:56Speaker 2: were like because remember when this started shooting and we
- 42:59Speaker 2: heard about it, it was like two years before we
- 43:02Speaker 2: actually even saw it. So I'm thinking that they're shooting
- 43:05Speaker 2: and shooting and shooting, and then they're like, Okay, we're
- 43:07Speaker 2: going to stop shooting. This looks like it's it. I
- 43:10Speaker 2: don't I don't know if we have what it takes
- 43:13Speaker 2: to your point. I think they may have shown the
- 43:15Speaker 2: sizzle reel and maybe Bravo was like, go back in
- 43:20Speaker 2: and see what the updates are and then maybe we'll
- 43:23Speaker 2: have a better ending, because it was kind of a
- 43:26Speaker 2: soft ending. It wasn't like anything explosive, whereas we got
- 43:29Speaker 2: Georgia who got booted out into the streets.
- 43:32Speaker 3: Basically, that's your ending, that's your damn ending.
- 43:35Speaker 2: So I think that that's perhaps what they did. They
- 43:38Speaker 2: picked up cameras again, you know, like they do with
- 43:40Speaker 2: housewives sometimes where they pick up cameras when something's going on,
- 43:44Speaker 2: because it was you know, maybe they hadn't got to
- 43:46Speaker 2: pick up Maybe they were like, well, now we haven't
- 43:50Speaker 2: heard yet, we might as well pick up cameras again.
- 43:52Speaker 4: That was so fucking good, Like to me, that show,
- 43:56Speaker 4: it hits me and so many different It's like we
- 43:59Speaker 4: said on the first one of the first episodes of
- 44:01Speaker 4: the Recap, and you were mentioning the gallery girls were
- 44:04Speaker 4: fascinated by New York rich kids culture and.
- 44:07Speaker 3: Written and club culture.
- 44:09Speaker 4: Then you mix in some housewives and so we have
- 44:11Speaker 4: a chance to see Teresa and Meredith and Candy, who
- 44:16Speaker 4: I love all three of them, and the friendship, and
- 44:20Speaker 4: it's just so much juicy. I can't imagine that Bravo
- 44:24Speaker 4: didn't know they had a hit minute one, so I
- 44:27Speaker 4: did not understand that ending. It was like they were
- 44:28Speaker 4: ending a documentary and they're like, yeah, and then goodbye forever.
- 44:32Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, it was very strange. I mean, I
- 44:35Speaker 2: hope they get a season two. I think that like
- 44:38Speaker 2: they they'll be able to make up for whatever they
- 44:40Speaker 2: didn't cover, you know, in the first season or rather
- 44:43Speaker 2: like in between. They have to have been shooting this
- 44:45Speaker 2: whole time. I'm sure a lot has happened. I just hope,
- 44:48Speaker 2: like they're able to stay there, you know. I hope
- 44:51Speaker 2: that Arian and Hudson are able to remain in New York.
- 44:54Speaker 2: I mean the fact that like her, she's got these
- 44:56Speaker 2: dogs and the dogs those dog oh my god, you know,
- 45:02Speaker 2: and then walking across the street and she's talking about
- 45:04Speaker 2: how like when when they smell human, you're and they
- 45:06Speaker 2: get really confused, and then the dog just goes and
- 45:08Speaker 2: takes a shit right in the middle like Bride'smaid style,
- 45:12Speaker 2: like just in my room off.
- 45:14Speaker 4: Like, okay, what about the episode where Kim came to
- 45:18Speaker 4: visit and she's solo cop.
- 45:20Speaker 2: And bam through the New York City.
- 45:24Speaker 3: Yeah, New York City. I'm proud of you, baby.
- 45:28Speaker 4: Like it was so wild to see her again and
- 45:33Speaker 4: just also so sad to know what she has done
- 45:35Speaker 4: behind the scenes asking them for money. And that's when
- 45:38Speaker 4: I think Hutson steps up as the boyfriend. He's like,
- 45:41Speaker 4: we're not giving your mom any more money, and so
- 45:43Speaker 4: I had to google him and I'm like, oh, he
- 45:44Speaker 4: comes from money.
- 45:47Speaker 3: So I just hope her.
- 45:48Speaker 4: Fashion line clears. But like when Kim came in acting
- 45:51Speaker 4: like everything was very normal, it was like, my lord,
- 45:55Speaker 4: and did you.
- 45:55Speaker 2: Notice that you're going to get some of this money too?
- 45:58Speaker 2: Learn from your sister.
- 46:00Speaker 3: Gabrielle is in the car.
- 46:04Speaker 4: Also, when Marianna was like, I can't wait to go
- 46:06Speaker 4: to the casino, I was like, don't forget.
- 46:09Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, tread lightly.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:14Speaker 3: What a wild show.
- 46:15Speaker 4: The fact that you could just possibly see Kim And
- 46:19Speaker 4: then I find Riley very fascinating Riley has a lot
- 46:22Speaker 4: of anxiety, which is what she presents in a different way.
- 46:25Speaker 3: And she's been this way since she was little.
- 46:27Speaker 4: She said, would say she'd hurt members, she'd hurt Candy's feelings.
- 46:31Speaker 4: She'd make Candy cry a couple of times here or there,
- 46:33Speaker 4: but it's always because beneath anger, there's hurt. Beneath hurt,
- 46:37Speaker 4: there is love. Riley is so sensitive. Yeah, so he
- 46:40Speaker 4: puts people to her arm's length because she doesn't want
- 46:44Speaker 4: to be hurt.
- 46:45Speaker 2: When she shared that she has anxiety about being around people,
- 46:49Speaker 2: like having to go to something social, I was like,
- 46:51Speaker 2: Oh my god, you're on a reality show. How are
- 46:54Speaker 2: you gonna deal with this? And yet she turned out
- 46:57Speaker 2: to be like one of the most authentic gals on
- 47:00Speaker 2: the show. And I've really really hated what she was
- 47:05Speaker 2: experiencing with, Like she was pigeonholed, you know, when we
- 47:09Speaker 2: went to the Jersey Shore and they were in that
- 47:11Speaker 2: house that that breakfast the morning after, and she was
- 47:15Speaker 2: like crying, if I say something, you get mad at me.
- 47:18Speaker 2: If I don't say something, you get mad at me.
- 47:21Speaker 2: And there was this other guy, Shia or something like that,
- 47:25Speaker 2: I don't know where he came from.
- 47:26Speaker 4: I like him, like Charlie, Georgia.
- 47:30Speaker 2: Okay, he's great and he really had Riley's back, and
- 47:35Speaker 2: I like him.
- 47:36Speaker 3: Yes, Mira was like, we all ore an apology and
- 47:40Speaker 3: that's true. They were like to say it, just say it.
- 47:42Speaker 3: And then she was like it's a terrible idea, and
- 47:44Speaker 3: they were like, ooh, too much.
- 47:45Speaker 2: It's like I know, and Ariana being like, that's her business.
- 47:49Speaker 2: You can't slam somebody for their new business. I was like, said,
- 47:52Speaker 2: the girl who's creating fashions with no fashions, we've seen nothing,
- 47:56Speaker 2: you know, Like, of course you're going to say that,
- 47:59Speaker 2: but honestly, Georgia can take it. She clearly she's about
- 48:04Speaker 2: She apologized to someone in that moment for being rude
- 48:07Speaker 2: or something like that, and then two seconds later she's
- 48:09Speaker 2: back to pitching her idea. Someone says it's bad. She's
- 48:12Speaker 2: gonna move on. Trust me, she's fine.
- 48:15Speaker 3: She's okay. She's got a thick, pippy long stocking skin.
- 48:18Speaker 3: She knows how to move on.
- 48:20Speaker 4: That George is a scrappy little sweetheart. Well, I loved
- 48:24Speaker 4: this season. I think that this show has legs for days.
- 48:28Speaker 4: I want to see what happens with these kids. I
- 48:30Speaker 4: hope they This also reminds me a little bit of
- 48:33Speaker 4: Salt Lake Season one, where they just don't exactly know
- 48:36Speaker 4: how big they're going to be, and so they were
- 48:38Speaker 4: very authentic.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Very authentic. I'm really curious to see, you know, also
- 48:44Speaker 2: how they tweak it a little bit. I don't want
- 48:46Speaker 2: them to add anybody else, take anybody else out. And
- 48:53Speaker 2: did you like how heavy Brooks was? Like I feel
- 48:55Speaker 2: like Brooks was really the center of all of it.
- 48:59Speaker 4: Yes, I liked it. I thought that Brooks and Aril
- 49:01Speaker 4: were the.
- 49:02Speaker 2: Center A yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I would have more
- 49:06Speaker 2: of a mirror.
- 49:06Speaker 3: She's wonderful, and I think Ava too. It's just the.
- 49:10Speaker 4: Daughter of Dom Damon Dash and Rachel Roy. Unbelievable, flawlessly gorgeous,
- 49:16Speaker 4: extremely laid back. I don't think she put on airs.
- 49:20Speaker 4: I do get the vibe that her and Charlie hooked
- 49:23Speaker 4: up maybe like one time. Yeah, they have that, They
- 49:27Speaker 4: just have that that thing. And I also think Charlie
- 49:30Speaker 4: and Georgia probably hooked up too.
- 49:32Speaker 2: Yeah, you're probably right. Also, did you maybe we knew
- 49:35Speaker 2: this and I forgot, but Lindsay Lohan and Charlie at
- 49:40Speaker 2: one point.
- 49:40Speaker 3: Yeah, that was wild amazing.
- 49:43Speaker 4: But but really the question is what is Charlie going
- 49:45Speaker 4: to do. He has a master's in hospitality. His father
- 49:50Speaker 4: obviously is a billionaire, probably certainly a deep millionaire.
- 49:55Speaker 3: And he wants his son to succeed. But he's so
- 49:58Speaker 3: harsh with him too. He's so me to him. But
- 50:00Speaker 3: he's like, you know, also, wouldn't you be mean to
- 50:02Speaker 3: your son if he was like.
- 50:04Speaker 4: I need to borrow a five thousand, just tack it
- 50:07Speaker 4: onto what I owe you If that's okay, It's like
- 50:09Speaker 4: I've already paid to your apartment, your food. All you
- 50:12Speaker 4: do is smoke weed constantly.
- 50:15Speaker 2: Yeah, you have no plan, he says, it does crypto,
- 50:18Speaker 2: but I don't. We're not seeing that. We're not seeing.
- 50:23Speaker 3: By the way I've I don't understand crypto, not a bit.
- 50:27Speaker 2: I don't think anybody does, including him, perhaps at this time,
- 50:30Speaker 2: because you know, well, that conversation between Charlie and Omar
- 50:34Speaker 2: was pretty eye opening because it does seem extremely complicated,
- 50:39Speaker 2: so risky, and you've got these two young people talking
- 50:42Speaker 2: about the business of crypto and how, you know, immature
- 50:49Speaker 2: it is at this point. But then also at the
- 50:51Speaker 2: same time, Omar saying if I would have got in
- 50:54Speaker 2: at the beginning, and I'm like, why is it already?
- 50:56Speaker 2: You know you can't jump on now, it's too late.
- 50:59Speaker 2: You know. It's a fascinating career.
- 51:04Speaker 3: Yeah it is.
- 51:05Speaker 4: I mean it hasn't fully taken off, I don't think,
- 51:08Speaker 4: but I know people who are very into it. My
- 51:11Speaker 4: friend Dustin, you know Dustin, he's like deeply involved. But
- 51:15Speaker 4: I'm like, what is it. They say it's the future
- 51:18Speaker 4: of money.
- 51:19Speaker 3: I don't know. It's just God.
- 51:21Speaker 4: I must say again, darlings, if you haven't yet watched
- 51:24Speaker 4: the season, but you.
- 51:25Speaker 3: Just love Amy and I and our rapport, go in
- 51:29Speaker 3: and watch this.
- 51:34Speaker 4: If we're just in your ears while you're doing your exercise,
- 51:37Speaker 4: and go in and watch this because it is good.
- 51:39Speaker 3: And I can't wait for the season too.
- 51:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't wait. I am very excited. I think
- 51:45Speaker 2: it's gonna be wonderful. I've really enjoyed talking about this,
- 51:49Speaker 2: like we did a lot of broad strokes about it,
- 51:51Speaker 2: so well, you know, we'll keep on with it, we'll
- 51:53Speaker 2: keep on well, hopefully we'll see that.
- 51:55Speaker 4: I'd like to see them again and thank you for
- 51:58Speaker 4: bringing me on this journey.
- 52:00Speaker 2: I feel like we're saying goodbye forever.
- 52:02Speaker 3: I don't know. I am moving to New York tomorrow.
- 52:05Speaker 4: I've decided I want to smell that pp in the Streets,
- 52:08Speaker 4: which was an original lyric to Frank Sinatra song that he.
- 52:11Speaker 3: Took up Well to wake Up, where I.
- 52:14Speaker 4: Smell the human pp in the streets.
- 52:21Speaker 2: I'm going to invest in crypto What Frank, how did
- 52:26Speaker 2: you know that we.
