- 0:31the God of the universe and other chapters can feel like
- 0:34hard work. And I bet there have been some
- 0:37of the chapters of Exodus that have felt like hard work.
- 0:39But this has also felt like a bit of a microcosm of my life
- 0:43for the last year because a year ago, I literally heard a voice
- 0:48out of the blue and God told me army.
- 0:52Chaplain Sean, go and study and prepare yourself for life as an
- 0:58army. Chaplain in the Army Reserve.
- 0:59That is involved me enrolling in doing more of a masters of
- 1:03Theology and filling out more forms and doing more assignments
- 1:07than I even care to remember and it is felt like hard work and so
- 1:12much detail to continue to slog through as I'm sure these poor
- 1:17Israelites must have felt like with all of these specifications
- 1:21that God gave them but and the god of the universe asks us to
- 1:26do something, we do it. And so as we listen to Into all
- 1:30of these tasks being completed. We are aware that even though
- 1:34the details feel painful we live this Christian Life in service
- 1:40of something so much bigger than ourselves and this is the story
- 1:44of God's people doing exactly that.
- 1:48So why don't you join me? As we read this next chapter?
