  May. 16th plans in his hands. Have you ever felt like you're
• 0:14
  carrying too much? Like everyone around you seems
• 0:17
  to have a plan, a direction, a sense of purpose, and you're
• 0:21
  just trying to keep your head above water?
• 0:24
  Or maybe you have goals and dreams, but there's this nagging
• 0:27
  anxiety underneath. What if it doesn't work out?
• 0:30
  What if I'm not enough? What if I'm wasting my time?
• 0:34
  Proverbs chapter 16 verse 3 cuts right through that anxiety with
• 0:39
  one of the most practical and powerful promises in all of
• 0:42
  Scripture. Commit your work to the Lord,
• 0:45
  and your plans will be established.
• 0:47
  Not maybe, not possibly will be established.
• 0:51
  There's a certainty there that's rooted not in your ability, but
• 0:54
  in God's faithfulness. The key is that little word,
• 0:57
  commit, not just mention your plans to God in passing, not
• 1:02
  just ask for a quick blessing and then go do things your own
• 1:05
  way. Actually entrust your work, your
• 1:08
  goals, your daily effort to Him. Roll it over to Him fully.
• 1:13
  And when you do that, He takes responsibility for the outcome.
• 1:17
  Paul adds A breathtaking layer to this in Second Corinthians
• 1:20
  chapter 4, verse 7. We have this treasure in jars of
• 1:24
  clay to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to
• 1:28
  us. You are a jar of clay, not an
• 1:32
  insult. A beautiful, honest description.
• 1:34
  Ordinary, fragile, in some ways imperfect, and yet carrying
• 1:39
  something extraordinary inside the life and light of God
• 1:42
  himself. The point of that image is that
• 1:45
  when something amazing happens through you, nobody gets
• 1:48
  confused about where the power came from.
• 1:51
  It clearly came from God. Your limitations don't
• 1:54
  disqualify you. They actually become the very
• 1:57
  thing that makes God's power visible.

  And then verse 16 says we do not lose heart.
• 2:04
  Even though our outer self is wasting away.
• 2:06
  Our inner self is being renewed day by day, day by day, not all
• 2:11
  at once, not in one dramatic transformation.
• 2:15
  Little by little, as you stay connected to God, something
• 2:18
  inside you is being strengthened and refreshed.
• 2:21
  Even on the hard days, even on the days that feel like nothing
• 2:25
  is happening, even when you feel like you're going backward.
• 2:29
  That's the rhythm God invites us into.
• 2:31
  Not a Sprint towards some perfect version of yourself, but
• 2:34
  a daily returning, a daily committing, a daily trusting
• 2:39
  that He is doing something in you that you cannot always see
• 2:42
  yet. So today, whatever is on your
• 2:45
  plate, the assignment you're stressed about, the friendship
• 2:48
  that feels complicated, the dream that feels far away, bring
• 2:51
  it to God, not as a formality, but as a genuine act of trust.
• 2:56
  Say, God, I'm giving this to you.
• 2:59
  I'll do my part faithfully, but I'm trusting you with the
• 3:01
  outcome. That's not passivity.
• 3:05
  That's one of the most courageous things you can do.
• 3:07
  And here's what makes that possible.
• 3:09
  Every small, ordinary, faithful step you take matters.
• 3:13
  God doesn't need you to be impressive, He needs you to be
• 3:17
  committed, and when you are, He takes what looks ordinary and
• 3:20
  does something extraordinary with it.
• 3:22
  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank You for
• 3:26
  the promise that when I commit my plans to you, you establish
• 3:29
  them. Help me to truly hand over my
• 3:32
  goals, my worries, and my daily efforts, not just in words, but
• 3:36
  in real trust. On the days I feel weak or
• 3:40
  limited, remind me that Your power shows up best in my
• 3:43
  weakness. Renew me from the inside out,
• 3:46
  day by day so I can keep going with faith and purpose.
• 3:49
  I give today to you in Jesus name, Amen.

  darkness, who is shown in our hearts to give the light of the

  knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

  But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding

  greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves.

  We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed, perplexed yet
• 6:19
  not to despair, pursued yet not forsaken, struck down, yet not
• 6:23
  destroyed, always carrying in the body the putting to death of
• 6:28
  the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in

  our body. For we who live are always

  delivered to death for Jesus sake, that the life also of
• 6:38
  Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh.

  So then death works in us, but life in you.

  But having the same spirit of faith according to that which is

  written. I believed and therefore I

  spoke. We also believe, and therefore

  we also speak, knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will

  which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.
