- 0:06Speaker 1: Back to Mark Damon on wo or Hey, yeah, we'll
- 0:11Speaker 1: take some calls. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 0:15Speaker 1: ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 0:18Speaker 1: seven ten. Let's go to Bob and Newershell, Bob, how
- 0:21Speaker 1: you doing.
- 0:22Speaker 2: I'm good, Mark, I'm good. Look, I was just listening
- 0:24Speaker 2: at you talk about these mayors. It looks odd. I
- 0:26Speaker 2: was literally right before we said that, I was thinking
- 0:29Speaker 2: about Karen bass I mean, is it me or when
- 0:31Speaker 2: she flashes that creepy smile, she looks like she should
- 0:34Speaker 2: be a villain in a Batman movie.
- 0:36Speaker 1: No, she didn't look smart enough for that. Those villains
- 0:39Speaker 1: were sharp, they were smart. She just looks, uh, she
- 0:42Speaker 1: looks like I don't know, she looks like she'd I
- 0:45Speaker 1: could see her behind the counter like at uh where
- 0:49Speaker 1: not McDonald's. But I'm trying to think when if you
- 0:54Speaker 1: didn't know who she was, what do you think she
- 0:55Speaker 1: did for a living? You just saw she looks like
- 0:57Speaker 1: a librarian. I could see her behind the counter at
- 0:59Speaker 1: the library.
- 1:00Speaker 2: It's just creepy to me.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Yeah, well, not creepy. She just looks kind of dopey,
- 1:04Speaker 1: just kind of goofy. Anyway, thanks for Colin. Let's go
- 1:07Speaker 1: to uh Rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich.
- 1:09Speaker 2: How you doing a pretty good count? Bass looks like
- 1:13Speaker 2: the person behind the count at the waffle house here
- 1:16Speaker 2: in South Carolina or two o'clock in the morning, That's
- 1:19Speaker 2: what she looks like.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Yeah, kay, you know, I could see it behind the
- 1:21Speaker 1: counter at the airport, you know, one of those totally
- 1:23Speaker 1: useless people that can't help.
- 1:24Speaker 2: You, you know, like the rest of the world do.
- 1:28Speaker 2: With seven minutes left of the nick game in the
- 1:30Speaker 2: third quarter, I went to bed. They were down by
- 1:32Speaker 2: twenty weeks at that point. I've seen comebacks, but I
- 1:34Speaker 2: never thought they were going to come back from twenty
- 1:36Speaker 2: one down with half of early had a quarter and
- 1:38Speaker 2: a half left. Hey, I saw in the news that
- 1:41Speaker 2: in the last hour so Trump has knocked out electricity
- 1:43Speaker 2: to forty or fifty Iranian military basis. So there is
- 1:47Speaker 2: really starting to step it up now, you know.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Yeah, no, and tonight is a much bigger attack's coming tonight.
- 1:52Speaker 2: It'd be like July fourth fireworks night over there. I
- 1:54Speaker 2: should watch it on TV, you know.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, thanks for calling. Let me just point
- 1:58Speaker 1: out they are hitting power plants and knocking out electricity.
- 2:02Speaker 1: You're going to hear all over MSNBC and CNN, New
- 2:05Speaker 1: York Times are going to say violation of international law,
- 2:08Speaker 1: war crime. This is there's no such thing as international law.
- 2:13Speaker 1: It doesn't exist, and it's not a war crime. It's
- 2:16Speaker 1: the first thing you do in every war is you
- 2:18Speaker 1: knock out bridges, power plants. Iraq War, World War two.
- 2:22Speaker 1: We always do that, usually day one. That's the first
- 2:24Speaker 1: thing you do. Knock out the bridges and the power
- 2:26Speaker 1: plants you disable. And one reason you knock out the
- 2:29Speaker 1: power plants the military, the IRCG. They need power to operate,
- 2:34Speaker 1: so it shuts down the military. They have no power.
- 2:37Speaker 1: And you knock out bridges. We've already knocked out one
- 2:40Speaker 1: a while back, but usually knock out bridges that are
- 2:42Speaker 1: being used to transport military and weapons. That's why you
- 2:46Speaker 1: do it. Let's go to Robert in Westchester. Robert, how
- 2:50Speaker 1: you doing, Good.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Morning, Mark, and thanks for taking my call. This guy
- 2:55Speaker 2: Platiner from Maine. He has some character, he's got a
- 2:58Speaker 2: shady past, and yes he's insisting he's the guy that's
- 3:02Speaker 2: going to fix all of main's problems. That's like putting
- 3:06Speaker 2: al Capone in the head of the irs. This is ridiculous.
- 3:10Speaker 2: One other thing, Mark, did you hear if the if
- 3:13Speaker 2: O Justice Department is going to do anything with the
- 3:15Speaker 2: elections in California. I like Steve Hilton. I've even donated
- 3:19Speaker 2: to him. I'm afraid they're going to do the same
- 3:21Speaker 2: shenanigans they did to the fellow who ran for maya
- 3:25Speaker 2: to him.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a good point. Thanks for calling. The Department
- 3:28Speaker 1: of Justice already has people on the ground in California.
- 3:32Speaker 1: I don't know what they can exactly do, but you're right.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Got to keep an eye. Steve Hilton has done well,
- 3:38Speaker 1: and when the time comes election for governor that might
- 3:42Speaker 1: pull the same crap where he's ahead by twenty points
- 3:45Speaker 1: and then oh look at the mail ins. I suddenly
- 3:47Speaker 1: it's behind like eighty points. It's statistically impossible. They did
- 3:51Speaker 1: this with the mayor oal Race Pratt way ahead. All
- 3:55Speaker 1: the mail ins come in and it's the total opposite
- 3:58Speaker 1: of the regular vote. That's possible impossible. Let's go to
- 4:03Speaker 1: Larry Cranford, New Jersey. Larry, how you doing, Hey?
- 4:06Speaker 2: Mark? Oh? You know it's true. Who cares about the economy,
- 4:09Speaker 2: global warming, inflation, or anything else. If those lunatics were
- 4:13Speaker 2: going to hit us with in atomic bomb, who cares
- 4:16Speaker 2: about anything else? That is the priorities to make sure
- 4:19Speaker 2: that doesn't happen.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Yeah, well that's what President Trump said. He said. He
- 4:22Speaker 1: didn't say I don't care about the economy. He said,
- 4:24Speaker 1: if it comes to national security, threat of nuclear attack,
- 4:27Speaker 1: I don't care about the economy. I do what has
- 4:29Speaker 1: to be done, no matter what it's going to do.
- 4:32Speaker 1: How could you go to sleep? That guy said he
- 4:34Speaker 1: went to sleep like five minutes left in the game.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, I'm not a basketball fan normally,
- 4:42Speaker 1: and I don't know how much of a basketball but
- 4:43Speaker 1: I knew something could happen. And for those of you
- 4:46Speaker 1: that went to sleep, all of a sudden, the Nicks
- 4:50Speaker 1: started catching up. The Spurs made some mistakes. There was
- 4:53Speaker 1: you know, remember like sixteen seconds left and the Spurs.
- 4:57Speaker 1: He gets the ball and he starts going down court
- 5:00Speaker 1: right to throw. Should have done nothing, just just dribble,
- 5:03Speaker 1: just run down the clock. But I don't know what
- 5:04Speaker 1: he was thinking. But if you hung on till he
- 5:07Speaker 1: couldn't believe they got back. They were close, very close,
- 5:12Speaker 1: and then the ending was unbelievable.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Busy gets it fires up at three jump no good,
- 5:18Speaker 3: but Tip, that's gone.
- 5:19Speaker 1: It's gone.
- 5:20Speaker 3: It's gone. With one point two Permader, let's take the lead.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Oh nuts, little seven, little sex.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Nobody could believe it. Everybody's jumping up now, screaming, and
- 5:32Speaker 1: he did it with like one point two seconds left.
- 5:35Speaker 1: That's it.
- 5:36Speaker 3: It's over, the greatest comeback in NBA playoff history.
- 5:40Speaker 1: But let's pull off.
- 5:41Speaker 3: But Lord to come back and lead at three games
- 5:45Speaker 3: to one, no one, we're away from up title.
- 5:52Speaker 1: You should have seen it. He should have seen it.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Taylor Swift jumping up and down, flailing her arms, dancing,
- 6:01Speaker 1: Jerry Seinfeld waving his arms, jumping up and down. They
- 6:04Speaker 1: cut to Larry David. No expression, no expression at all, anyway,
- 6:11Speaker 1: when we come back. The great Jimmy Fayla, very very
- 6:14Speaker 1: funny guy, Jimmy Fayla, who's now on every night nine
- 6:16Speaker 1: to midnight on WOR. He'll be with us next
