- 0:18Speaker 1: your old peppy and ship.
- 0:19Speaker 3: I'm just fucking my days winding down now.
- 0:23Speaker 2: I'm not sure which one is a better one right up.
- 0:25Speaker 2: I probably can't even read. The night's in front of me,
- 0:26Speaker 2: my eyes not even working.
- 0:29Speaker 3: You got you've gotta cafeane it up. You've got to
- 0:31Speaker 3: get a flat white. That's what we got. That's what
- 0:34Speaker 3: I get when I'm in Australia, flat white all day long,
- 0:37Speaker 3: two three days.
- 0:38Speaker 4: It's less sleep night.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Brother.
- 0:39Speaker 2: If I get up to make a cup of coffee,
- 0:40Speaker 2: that's five minutes less sleep I get.
- 0:42Speaker 4: So that's the balancing.
- 0:46Speaker 3: You know what, right?
- 0:47Speaker 1: I love. I love the one thing about Australia that's
- 0:50Speaker 1: besides obviously the crowds and everything else. You guys have
- 0:53Speaker 1: so many cafes and you know it's fucking it's a
- 0:58Speaker 1: it's awesome. Like there's so many small cafes all over
- 1:01Speaker 1: the place, and I'm always pounding coffee, man, twenty four
- 1:04Speaker 1: o'cuck seven. I'm South American and I came to the
- 1:08Speaker 1: United States when I was ten years old, when I
- 1:09Speaker 1: was a kid, and you know, I've been drinking coffee
- 1:13Speaker 1: since I was literally seven years old. And yeah, I
- 1:17Speaker 1: pound coffee all fucking day.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Alarm, man, I've.
- 1:20Speaker 4: Seen you guys live on stage.
- 1:21Speaker 2: I'm not surprised you drink a lot of fucking coffee.
- 1:27Speaker 1: We're wait, wait till you see the new the new
- 1:31Speaker 1: you know, the new band and the new lineup, and
- 1:34Speaker 1: we're going to fucking crush Australia. Man.
- 1:37Speaker 3: People ain't gonna be ready for this kid right now.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Fantastic man.
- 1:41Speaker 2: So, as you said, Neil Nino returned to Australia in
- 1:44Speaker 2: September for three So I was studying in Sydney on
- 1:47Speaker 2: September the twelfth. Then he got Melbourne and Brisbane at
- 1:49Speaker 2: a consecutive night. So it's a fair way off, mate.
- 1:52Speaker 2: But do you know yourself to get excited about Charles
- 1:54Speaker 2: is far out or do you sort of wait till
- 1:55Speaker 2: it's closer and then start thinking about it.
- 1:58Speaker 1: No, I'm excited, man, you know, like uh I did
- 2:01Speaker 1: a previous interview and they're asking me what what I
- 2:03Speaker 1: love about Australian and it's like, the Australian crowds are
- 2:06Speaker 1: fucking nuts, Like my two favorite favorite crowds. I would
- 2:11Speaker 1: say it's definitely Australia. In South America, they're the craziest,
- 2:15Speaker 1: They're they're fucking insane, like completely nuts, you know. So
- 2:20Speaker 1: I can't wait. I mean it's always a very very
- 2:25Speaker 1: great come you know, interaction with Australian crowds, you know,
- 2:30Speaker 1: so yeah, we can't wait. Other than the fucking flight,
- 2:33Speaker 1: the sixteen hour flight. That shit sucks big balls. I
- 2:37Speaker 1: met my wife well, the first tour I came out there,
- 2:39Speaker 1: it was two thousand and five, and the two thousand
- 2:41Speaker 1: and five with static X. It was static X onlyin
- 2:44Speaker 1: know co headline tour and uh man, the flying it
- 2:49Speaker 1: was fucking crazy. I remember we flew from London, uh
- 2:53Speaker 1: and then we stopped somewhere and then we landed in Perth.
- 2:57Speaker 1: It was like nineteen hours of flying and and uh
- 3:01Speaker 1: I went fucking crazy. I was like what, I don't
- 3:04Speaker 1: even know where the fuck I was standing.
- 3:06Speaker 3: You know.
- 3:08Speaker 1: The jed light was so brutal and then litterally I
- 3:11Speaker 1: didn't fucking know that I was gonna end up marrying
- 3:13Speaker 1: an Australian. I'm just gonna have to go back every
- 3:14Speaker 1: fucking year. So now we're back every year. You know,
- 3:17Speaker 1: my entire family sixteen hours in sixteen hours fucking home man,
- 3:22Speaker 1: fucking brutal. But yeah, I can't wait to come to Australia.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Were like, for sure. My members are fucking pumped.
- 3:29Speaker 4: A bit by right.
- 3:30Speaker 2: I know you mentioned like e it's a fight a
- 3:31Speaker 2: out of the world, and you say that Australia clouds
- 3:33Speaker 2: are crazy and they're not so to find crazy nut
- 3:36Speaker 2: sprite like you've seen it all all over the place.
- 3:41Speaker 1: One time, this crazy motherfucker in sal Powello in Brazil.
- 3:46Speaker 1: He climbed the scaffolding all the way to the top
- 3:50Speaker 1: and I'm playing and I see this fucking dude hanging
- 3:53Speaker 1: in one arm, maybe one hundred feet in the air,
- 3:57Speaker 1: and I'm like, this fucking dude, let's go. He's fucking dead,
- 4:01Speaker 1: he's toast, and he's fucking crazy, like straight up swinging
- 4:06Speaker 1: back and forth on one hand for half a song.
- 4:09Speaker 1: And I'm singing myself like this fucking dude out of
- 4:12Speaker 1: his goddamn mind. Like, but he fucking you know, he did.
- 4:16Speaker 1: He did the whole thing. He came down the scaffold
- 4:19Speaker 1: and he was fine. But it was fucking scary. But
- 4:21Speaker 1: it was crazy.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Fuck they would have been like making sure he didn't
- 4:26Speaker 2: land on you on stage shopping.
- 4:29Speaker 1: He went through the side the side of side fields
- 4:35Speaker 1: and then climbed. I don't know how the fuck he
- 4:37Speaker 1: got there. And then he climbed and he fucking walked
- 4:40Speaker 1: towards the left. He was actually in front top.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Of the crowd.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I'm like, this, sud either killed himself, We'll take a
- 4:45Speaker 1: couple of people with him.
- 4:46Speaker 3: So he was, yeah, it's pretty crazy. I know, some
- 4:50Speaker 3: crazy ship.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Sure, I betcha man.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Yeah, this is going to be your first visit here
- 4:55Speaker 2: in eight years, mate. So what's changed with it in there?
- 4:58Speaker 2: At that tide?
- 5:00Speaker 3: We have a we have a new singer. Now.
- 5:04Speaker 1: We are going to release a new track and a
- 5:06Speaker 1: new video and song uh next month, and.
- 5:12Speaker 3: It's it's the new the new album.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Man. We're starting to record next week. The new album
- 5:18Speaker 1: is fucking insane. It's it's it's the best thing that
- 5:21Speaker 1: we've we've done since Revolution Confession I feel and uh yeah,
- 5:27Speaker 1: wait wait till you see the band live. I mean,
- 5:30Speaker 1: we're we're in the.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Top of the best shape of our lives.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Uh physically the entire band, and and uh mentally and
- 5:38Speaker 1: and you know spiritually, so world fighting.
- 5:41Speaker 3: We're firing all cylinders.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Right now and we just can't wait to come and
- 5:45Speaker 1: function it up for sure.
- 5:49Speaker 2: You guys got a reputation for your explsive live shows.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Might say, run a sor typical live shot for me
- 5:54Speaker 2: on any.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Say that one more time, run a.
- 5:59Speaker 4: Strough a typical live shot from you guys.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Uh, you know, going crazy from the minute that fucking
- 6:05Speaker 1: that you know, the lights go on to the time
- 6:07Speaker 1: the lights go down. We are going to do a
- 6:09Speaker 1: longer set that we've ever done before on the past.
- 6:12Speaker 1: We've even headline shows because we did a lot of
- 6:14Speaker 1: Soundway festivals, right and you only allowed thirty minutes, forty minutes,
- 6:18Speaker 1: forty five minutes, and they had The only headline run
- 6:22Speaker 1: we did was really in two thousand and five. Like
- 6:24Speaker 1: I said, with Static Acts, we did about an hour,
- 6:27Speaker 1: So expect a much longer set. There is our headlining
- 6:31Speaker 1: run set and we're probably about ninety minutes.
- 6:34Speaker 3: We're going to add an extra thirty minutes.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Every night, and we're gonna you know, yeah, we're gonna
- 6:38Speaker 1: be doing a and we're going to bring some production
- 6:41Speaker 1: as well.
- 6:41Speaker 3: You know, we're bringing production to the Fault for sure.
- 6:47Speaker 4: Ock yeah.
- 6:48Speaker 2: And you're also bringing a damer over with you to
- 6:50Speaker 2: you for their first to strite and chores.
- 6:52Speaker 4: So watching these emistoric funners.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Yeah, man, I mean, we've been touring with the Demons
- 6:57Speaker 1: in two thousand and one. They are fucking great guys
- 7:02Speaker 1: and a great band, and we were very happy.
- 7:05Speaker 3: That our schedules met where we could bring him with us.
- 7:08Speaker 3: You know, we actually uh did a show with them.
- 7:12Speaker 1: El Nino did a Mexico show in Mexico City in
- 7:15Speaker 1: October of last year and it was fucking immense.
- 7:18Speaker 3: It was one of the.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Biggest shows we've ever done for a festival called New
- 7:21Speaker 1: Metal Revolution, and uh yeah, it's Sick and Adema were
- 7:27Speaker 1: there also and we hung out, we talked. I spoke
- 7:31Speaker 1: to to Chris and Dave and and that's when we
- 7:33Speaker 1: talked about it. We're like, hey, if you guys have
- 7:35Speaker 1: any shows coming up, we'd love to do them with
- 7:37Speaker 1: you guys. And I was like, you know what, as a.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Matter of fact, and we have.
- 7:41Speaker 1: We shared the same agent, so we called our agent
- 7:43Speaker 1: and I was like, look, Adam to the show.
- 7:45Speaker 3: If we can, you know, make it happen. Let's sucking
- 7:48Speaker 3: make it happen.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Oh man, Now I want to go back to the beginning,
- 7:52Speaker 2: like you started on India back in ninety eight in
- 7:55Speaker 2: New Jersey, Bro, So, what was the musical climate like
- 7:58Speaker 2: that gave birth to the band and where did you
- 8:00Speaker 2: fit in?
- 8:00Speaker 1: But then you know, the New York the New York scene,
- 8:07Speaker 1: New Jersey scene has always been very hardcore oriented, bands
- 8:11Speaker 1: like the Crowmags, and you know, bands like mad Ball
- 8:15Speaker 1: and Agnostic Front and all of the hardcore bands, the
- 8:18Speaker 1: legendary hardcore bands, bands like the Bad Brands, And you know,
- 8:23Speaker 1: I grew up in that scene. And I've seen many, many,
- 8:26Speaker 1: many shows in uh in downtown and all over the place.
- 8:32Speaker 1: But all the hardcore shows a scene of NOTx up
- 8:35Speaker 1: Front Live, which is like the most insane fucking show
- 8:38Speaker 1: you'll ever see.
- 8:38Speaker 3: I've seen mad Ball live.
- 8:40Speaker 1: We're really good friends with those charas with Freddie oh yeah,
- 8:43Speaker 1: and back in the day.
- 8:46Speaker 3: They were together.
- 8:46Speaker 1: And then I think that it's very very true sounds
- 8:52Speaker 1: come from these coasts. I don't think it's we don't
- 8:54Speaker 1: really fake the funk. We don't fake the sound of
- 8:58Speaker 1: the band to fit into a certain cliche, you know,
- 9:01Speaker 1: to a niche, and then to fit into a certain pattern.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I think that East Coast bands are a little more
- 9:08Speaker 1: honest with their sound, I guess, and a little more
- 9:11Speaker 1: We don't give up no frills. We don't give a fuck,
- 9:14Speaker 1: you know. We do what we do and if you
- 9:16Speaker 1: like it fucking awesome, you know, and if you don't
- 9:19Speaker 1: fucking awesome anyway, we don't. We don't really try to
- 9:23Speaker 1: have a cookie cutter type of sound and fit it
- 9:26Speaker 1: into a what's happening in you know, in music at
- 9:30Speaker 1: that time.
- 9:31Speaker 5: You know, yeah, yeah, so SAMD you go as a
- 9:35Speaker 5: god like it basically it fuses metal and Latin music together.
- 9:38Speaker 5: But back in the beginning, like when you first came
- 9:40Speaker 5: up with the band, Like, was that a hard mixed
- 9:43Speaker 5: to get together and sound good?
- 9:45Speaker 4: Like did you have to work at it?
- 9:48Speaker 3: Okay?
- 9:48Speaker 1: Well, I mean it comes it comes from my background,
- 9:50Speaker 1: right I I I was raised when I was a kid,
- 9:54Speaker 1: and my mom would always play you know, salsa and
- 9:58Speaker 1: medangae and all kinds of you know, cumbia and all
- 10:02Speaker 1: kinds of Latin music, and I mean that's all I knew.
- 10:06Speaker 1: I was I was living in Peru, I was living
- 10:08Speaker 1: in America. So that's all the music you knew. And
- 10:12Speaker 1: you know, we as I became accustomed to these sounds.
- 10:18Speaker 1: I started in the under and I started in heavy
- 10:21Speaker 1: metal back in the eighties. You know, I've been doing
- 10:23Speaker 1: this thirty nine years, forty years now. And I was
- 10:26Speaker 1: in a bank called Gothic Slam in the eighties, mid eighties,
- 10:29Speaker 1: and it was metal. It was kind of like Anthrax
- 10:32Speaker 1: meets Metallica, speed metal. And after that, you know, I've
- 10:36Speaker 1: joined a bunch of bands. I've been in MD I've
- 10:39Speaker 1: been in Propane, I've been in Soulfly, I've been in Marauder.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I've been in all these different bands. When we started
- 10:47Speaker 1: Ill Nino. When I founded Il Nino in ninety eight,
- 10:50Speaker 1: I was putting together the metal sounds of the band
- 10:54Speaker 1: and I wanted to add some percussion. The way it
- 10:56Speaker 1: started was I edited at Timballe to my drunk kid
- 11:00Speaker 1: and I started playing percussion in certain sections by myself
- 11:03Speaker 1: without a percussionist. Now you fast forward to two thousand
- 11:08Speaker 1: and we are in the studio, I was actually my
- 11:12Speaker 1: bass player and let.
- 11:13Speaker 3: My right hand guy in the band. He's been in
- 11:15Speaker 3: the bands Revolution.
- 11:17Speaker 1: He's a OG along with Danny Quoto, who's also an
- 11:20Speaker 1: OG in the band.
- 11:21Speaker 3: And we.
- 11:24Speaker 1: You know, we started writing the new music with the
- 11:29Speaker 1: with the original band members of the band.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Uh and uh.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I just felt like I couldn't play all the percussion
- 11:38Speaker 1: ship that I wanted to play along with the songs
- 11:41Speaker 1: because again, I grew up with a lot of bands
- 11:44Speaker 1: that are very percussive with like Santana, even bands like
- 11:47Speaker 1: Miami Sound Machine, which I'm sure a lot of people
- 11:49Speaker 1: don't know who they are, but they're like a pop
- 11:51Speaker 1: band on the fucking eighties that fused by lingual music,
- 11:56Speaker 1: you know, English in Spanish, mostly Spanish. And I wanted
- 12:01Speaker 1: to put that together. I wanted to mix it and.
- 12:05Speaker 3: I was able to record it, and uh, then we
- 12:10Speaker 3: got Roger in the band, you know, original percussionists, and
- 12:14Speaker 3: everything just kind of fell into place. It was very natural.
- 12:16Speaker 3: It wasn't forced.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Again, you know, being from the East Coast and having
- 12:21Speaker 1: that background in Latin music, I think that it helped
- 12:24Speaker 1: me confuse it without really forcing it.
- 12:28Speaker 3: It's very natural, you know.
- 12:30Speaker 5: Yep.
- 12:31Speaker 4: Now, I don't want to focus on the negatives of
- 12:33Speaker 4: this night.
- 12:33Speaker 2: But like I've in the years, you've had some members
- 12:35Speaker 2: coming go, You've had dramas with the band, But do
- 12:38Speaker 2: you keep Gallon Bryer like, what is it that keeps
- 12:40Speaker 2: driving you Withino and it makes you keep persevering even
- 12:43Speaker 2: when the chips are against you.
- 12:46Speaker 1: You know, Elin has always been my baby. You know,
- 12:48Speaker 1: it's been my creation since ninety eight.
- 12:51Speaker 3: And you know.
- 12:54Speaker 1: It's some very dear to me, as like a child,
- 12:56Speaker 1: almost like having your own kid. And and I'm not
- 12:59Speaker 1: gonna allow somebody to downplay the band, or hurt the band,
- 13:04Speaker 1: or put us in danger of not being around anymore.
- 13:07Speaker 1: And you know, you become protect protective, you know. On
- 13:10Speaker 1: a positive note.
- 13:11Speaker 3: You know, you know.
- 13:15Speaker 1: We had our issues when we had our issues with
- 13:18Speaker 1: the original three, with the three other members of the band,
- 13:21Speaker 1: with Christian Machado and.
- 13:24Speaker 3: A Rue Luster and the other guitar player, and you know,
- 13:29Speaker 3: should happen.
- 13:30Speaker 1: But I'm glad to say that, you know, Christian and
- 13:34Speaker 1: I are now on speaking terms and we were kind
- 13:37Speaker 1: of we're friends again, and we are you know, we
- 13:42Speaker 1: we hashed everything out last year around December. We started
- 13:46Speaker 1: talking we started texting each other, then we met up.
- 13:49Speaker 1: His band was playing a show in Fort Worth, Texas,
- 13:54Speaker 1: which is about twenty five minutes for me, and I
- 13:56Speaker 1: texted him and I was like, Hey, I'm going to
- 13:58Speaker 1: come see upon a burning By, which was the Headliners,
- 14:01Speaker 1: and you guys are playing, and he's like, yes, what
- 14:04Speaker 1: do you want?
- 14:04Speaker 3: Why don't we hook up?
- 14:05Speaker 1: And we talked from it and he's like, now, that
- 14:07Speaker 1: was the first time we spoke in five years since
- 14:09Speaker 1: the brutal you know, since the lawsuit. And we sat down,
- 14:13Speaker 1: we talked, and you know, we both were very positive.
- 14:16Speaker 1: We're both very sorry that what happened had happened. And
- 14:20Speaker 1: we both looked behind twenty you know, twenty twenty, and we.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Looked back at it. We're like, it was fucking.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Stupid that it happened, and we wished that we would
- 14:27Speaker 1: have handled it different, but we you know, it's it's
- 14:30Speaker 1: in the past now. And we wished each other the best,
- 14:32Speaker 1: and he was like, you know, hey, you're doing a
- 14:35Speaker 1: great job with only you know, he goes, I see,
- 14:37Speaker 1: I like what I'm seeing, and you know, at the
- 14:40Speaker 1: same time, I wished him the best for his band.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I told him his band's doing great, and uh, you know,
- 14:45Speaker 1: we're both in a place of of there's no anger,
- 14:50Speaker 1: there's no uh, you know, justlike we wish each other
- 14:55Speaker 1: the best, and I legitimately say that, you know, from
- 14:58Speaker 1: all the goodness of my heart, like I wish him
- 14:59Speaker 1: the best, and I think that.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Everything happens for a reason, you know.
- 15:04Speaker 1: And in my life personally, I just don't I don't
- 15:06Speaker 1: need any negativity in my life. I don't need any
- 15:10Speaker 1: black clouds. The older you get, the more you start realizing, like, hey,
- 15:14Speaker 1: it's it's about personal relationships, it's about humanity, about kindness,
- 15:18Speaker 1: and it's about you know, being a bigger person and
- 15:23Speaker 1: making the first move at squashing bullshit, you know.
- 15:28Speaker 3: And I was I was the one who approached them
- 15:32Speaker 3: because I don't want any negativity in my life. I
- 15:35Speaker 3: don't need it, you know.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I just think that life's too short to look back
- 15:39Speaker 1: at it and be like a negative piece of ship.
- 15:42Speaker 3: And the same thing happened with with Marcos Leaf.
- 15:45Speaker 1: You know, we're in a band. I mean he towards
- 15:49Speaker 1: towards the end he wanted a little more control of
- 15:51Speaker 1: the band. And there was never about anybody else other
- 15:55Speaker 1: than myself. Lazarropina and any Quoto call the shots. We
- 16:01Speaker 1: have meetings, we talk about business and we we handled
- 16:03Speaker 1: the business together. And you know the members, you know Miggie,
- 16:11Speaker 1: a percussions vocalist, my you know my guitar player Jess,
- 16:15Speaker 1: and my other guitarist South. They're fucking amazing human beings.
- 16:19Speaker 1: They're amazing, amazing musicians. I mean, you'll see they are
- 16:24Speaker 1: fucking insane live, all of them, and they were within
- 16:27Speaker 1: their own right, they're fucking sick as fuck live and
- 16:31Speaker 1: you know they they've brought this passive relationship between all
- 16:36Speaker 1: of us that it just works. And uh, Marco's and
- 16:41Speaker 1: I in the band had a fall in out and
- 16:43Speaker 1: he actually reached out to me last week of all
- 16:48Speaker 1: and he came to terms almost the same way who
- 16:52Speaker 1: I spoke to Christian six months ago. He called me
- 16:56Speaker 1: and he was you know, he apologized for his actions. Uh,
- 16:59Speaker 1: he wish that he never would have done what he
- 17:03Speaker 1: did and the way things you know, came out. I
- 17:06Speaker 1: told him the same thing. I told him, I wish
- 17:07Speaker 1: him the best and that you know, we can work
- 17:10Speaker 1: on on on our friendship and that you know, I
- 17:12Speaker 1: wish him the best for his his endeavors and his
- 17:15Speaker 1: band and the bands that he's playing in and uh.
- 17:18Speaker 3: And we hashed that out as well.
- 17:20Speaker 1: So there's really no negativity anywhere in our camp right
- 17:24Speaker 1: now and every everything that any anything that was negative
- 17:28Speaker 1: in the last five years is no longer negative, right,
- 17:31Speaker 1: good to hear.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Ill speaking of more positives, you did mention new music
- 17:35Speaker 2: before my friends tell us more.
- 17:38Speaker 1: We are in the process. We're going into the studio
- 17:40Speaker 1: next week start recording the new album we have. We're
- 17:45Speaker 1: going to be dropping a new single in a new video,
- 17:48Speaker 1: uh the end of June, uh, the last Friday of June.
- 17:52Speaker 1: And uh, we are just fucking psyched the new record is.
- 17:57Speaker 1: I'm so proud of the new album or the material
- 17:59Speaker 1: new album. All the guys have stepped up and written
- 18:03Speaker 1: some fucking great ship and we have some key key
- 18:07Speaker 1: people working with us, some great producers on this album.
- 18:11Speaker 1: I mean, if budget isn't a problem for a band,
- 18:17Speaker 1: that's when you get the best out of that band,
- 18:18Speaker 1: because you can go for people that you love, what
- 18:22Speaker 1: sounds they create, and what producers are available.
- 18:25Speaker 3: And I'm working with some you know, I'm co.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Producing the new album as well, but I'm working with
- 18:30Speaker 1: some amazing producers.
- 18:33Speaker 3: That I literally look up to, and yeah, I can't
- 18:36Speaker 3: wait to release any single.
- 18:38Speaker 1: And we're gonna release the first song like I said,
- 18:40Speaker 1: in the end of January and June, and we're gonna
- 18:45Speaker 1: start putting a little bit of clips up soon enough
- 18:47Speaker 1: to start putting teasers out to people will get a taste.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Of what's coming for the band. But we have a
- 18:52Speaker 3: rigorous tool schedule.
- 18:53Speaker 1: We have July second through August second, we're doing a
- 18:56Speaker 1: co headline tour with Powerman five thousand.
- 18:58Speaker 3: In the United States. We're selling out like a motherfucker
- 19:02Speaker 3: right now.
- 19:04Speaker 1: We finished on August second, August third, we're flying to Brog,
- 19:08Speaker 1: Czech Republic, and then we do seven ft six festivals
- 19:13Speaker 1: in Europe, all between twenty and forty thousand people to night,
- 19:16Speaker 1: and then we do a couple of headline shows. We
- 19:18Speaker 1: do have one show supporting Machine Head in Holland as well,
- 19:23Speaker 1: and then we finished that tour, we got two weeks
- 19:25Speaker 1: off and then we'll come to Australia. We got got
- 19:28Speaker 1: New Zealand and Australia and then we got ten days
- 19:31Speaker 1: off after that, and then we'll go to South America
- 19:32Speaker 1: and Mexico.
- 19:33Speaker 3: In October.
- 19:34Speaker 4: So how do you remember all that? How do you
- 19:36Speaker 4: remember all that? Probably that's a lot.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I remember it because I'm the guy in charge.
- 19:44Speaker 3: So I'm the guy that you know that has has
- 19:46Speaker 3: to deal with it.
- 19:48Speaker 4: Yeah, written the new music, is it what people would
- 19:52Speaker 4: expect from it on then? Or have you?
- 19:54Speaker 1: So?
- 19:54Speaker 2: I added a few new elements the last album.
- 19:58Speaker 3: The new music is.
- 20:01Speaker 1: I said, I'm the proudest of everything that anything I've
- 20:03Speaker 1: ever done. It's it's it's fucking like revolution and Confession
- 20:08Speaker 1: on crack. It's heaviest fuck but it's very melodic and
- 20:12Speaker 1: it's very you know this this The singing songs are
- 20:16Speaker 1: very singing, and the heavy songs are very heavy, and
- 20:19Speaker 1: which what kind of made El Nino El Nino? You know,
- 20:22Speaker 1: we come in from this crazy, you know, heavy, heavy
- 20:26Speaker 1: fucking song into like, you know, a beautiful chorus with
- 20:29Speaker 1: flamenco guitars, right, and uh, expect the same the same formula,
- 20:35Speaker 1: but at the same time is going to be you know,
- 20:39Speaker 1: very modern music exchanged since two thousand and one, and uh,
- 20:43Speaker 1: I think for the better. You know, I really love
- 20:45Speaker 1: a lot of the new music on the new bands
- 20:48Speaker 1: out there. You know, I'm sure that you guys are
- 20:52Speaker 1: totally psyched with the new bad Omens record, you know,
- 20:56Speaker 1: And I just saw I just saw that.
- 20:58Speaker 3: I just saw the death tones, which to me, I mean, fuck,
- 21:01Speaker 3: bad Omens are modern death tones.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what I mean is it's the truth.
- 21:10Speaker 1: I mean, and I'm sure that they love the fucking
- 21:13Speaker 1: death tones. I mean, who doesn't love the death tones?
- 21:15Speaker 3: And and uh there.
- 21:17Speaker 1: You know, I think that the new album is definitely
- 21:20Speaker 1: has a lot of modern twists to it. I noticed
- 21:23Speaker 1: that new music has a lot more samples, a lot
- 21:27Speaker 1: more ambient sounds, and it's a lot more rhythmic when
- 21:31Speaker 1: it comes to two samples and keys and synths and whatnot.
- 21:38Speaker 1: So there's definitely a lot of more of that incorporated
- 21:41Speaker 1: into the new new album as well as like the
- 21:45Speaker 1: songs that we had in the past, as you know,
- 21:47Speaker 1: like I Am Loco and uh and how Can I
- 21:51Speaker 1: Live and.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Stuff like that. I mean, we're definitely gonna have the bangers,
- 21:54Speaker 3: but we're definitely gonna have a couple of brutal tracks
- 21:56Speaker 3: in them.
