- 0:00Speaker 1: Chapter fourteen of Religion, by separation from their qualities. Krishna, Yet, Father,
- 0:06Speaker 1: will I open unto thee this wisdom of all wisdom's uttermost,
- 0:12Speaker 1: the which possessing all my saints have passed to perfectness
- 0:17Speaker 1: on these high verities, reliant, rising into fellowship with Me.
- 0:22Speaker 1: They are not born again at birth of thalpas, nor
- 0:26Speaker 1: traias suffer change. This inverse. The womb is where I
- 0:30Speaker 1: plant seed of all lives. Then Prince of India comes
- 0:35Speaker 1: birth to all beings. Whoso uti son mothers each mortal
- 0:39Speaker 1: form Gramma conceives, and I am he that fathers sending seed. Satuan,
- 0:46Speaker 1: Rajas and Thomas so are named the qualities of nature soothfastness, passion,
- 0:52Speaker 1: and ignorance. These three bind down the changeless spirit in
- 0:56Speaker 1: the changeful flesh. Where of sweet soothfastness by purity, living
- 1:02Speaker 1: unsalied and enlightened binds the sinless soul to happiness and
- 1:07Speaker 1: truth and passion. Being kin to appetite and breeding. Impulse
- 1:11Speaker 1: and propensity binds the embodied soul. Oh conti son by
- 1:16Speaker 1: tie of works, but ignorance the child of darkness blinding
- 1:21Speaker 1: mortal men binds down their souls to stupor, sloth and drowsiness, Ye,
- 1:26Speaker 1: Prince of India. Sooth fastness binds souls in pleasant wise
- 1:31Speaker 1: to flesh, and passion binds by toilsome strain. But ignorance,
- 1:36Speaker 1: which blots the beams of wisdom, binds the soul to sloth,
- 1:40Speaker 1: passion and ignorance. Once overcome, leave soup fastness O Barada.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Where this, with ignorance or absent passion rules and ignorance,
- 1:50Speaker 1: and hearts not good nor quick, and at all gateways
- 1:55Speaker 1: of the body shines the lamp of knowledge, then may
- 1:58Speaker 1: one see well soothfastness settle in that stea rings where
- 2:03Speaker 1: longing is and order and unrest impulse to strive and
- 2:08Speaker 1: gay and avaress those spring from passion, Prince and grain,
- 2:13Speaker 1: And where darkness and dulness, loth and stupor or its
- 2:17Speaker 1: ignorance hath caused them Kuru chief. Moreover, when a soul
- 2:22Speaker 1: departeth fixed in soothfastness, it goeth to the place perfect
- 2:27Speaker 1: and pure of those that know all truth. If it
- 2:31Speaker 1: departed in set habitue of impulse, it shall go into
- 2:35Speaker 1: the world of spirits tied to words. And if it
- 2:38Speaker 1: dies in hardened ignorance, that blinded soul is born and
- 2:43Speaker 1: new in some unlighted womb. The fruit of soothfastness is
- 2:48Speaker 1: true and sweet. The fruit of lust is pain and toil.
- 2:51Speaker 1: The fruit of ignorance is deeper darkness. A for light
- 2:56Speaker 1: brings light and passion ache to have blindness, bewilderments and
- 3:01Speaker 1: ignorance grow forth from ignorance. Those are the first pries.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Ever higher those of the second mode take a mid place.
- 3:11Speaker 1: The darkened soul sink back to lower deeps, loaded with witlessness.
- 3:17Speaker 1: When watching life, the living man perceives the only actors
- 3:21Speaker 1: are the qualities, and knows what lives beyond the qualities.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Then is he come nigh unto me? The soul, thus
- 3:29Speaker 1: passing forth from the three qualities, whereof aries all bodies
- 3:33Speaker 1: overcomes birth, death, sorrow, and age, and drinketh deep the
- 3:39Speaker 1: undying wine of humbers. Arjuna, Oh, my Lord, which be
- 3:44Speaker 1: the signs to know him that hath gone past the
- 3:47Speaker 1: three modes? How liveth he? What will leadeth him safe
- 3:51Speaker 1: beyond the three four modes? Krishna, he who with equanimity
- 3:57Speaker 1: surveys luster of goodness, strife of passion, sloth of ignorance,
- 4:01Speaker 1: not angry If they are not angry when they are
- 4:04Speaker 1: not He who sits a sojourner and stranger in their midst, unruffled,
- 4:10Speaker 1: standing off, saying serene when troubles break. These are the
- 4:14Speaker 1: qualities he andto whom self centered, grief and joy sound
- 4:18Speaker 1: as convert to whose deep seeing eyes the clod, the marble,
- 4:23Speaker 1: and the gold are one whose equal heart holds the
- 4:27Speaker 1: same gentleness for lovely and unlovely things, firm set, well,
- 4:32Speaker 1: pleased in praise and disgrace, satisfied with honor or dishonor,
- 4:37Speaker 1: unto friends and unto force, alike in tolerance, detached from undertakings.
- 4:42Speaker 1: He's named surmounter of the qualities and search with single
- 4:47Speaker 1: fervent faith, alluring me, pausing beyond the qualities, conforms to
- 4:51Speaker 1: Brahma and attains me, for I am that whereof Grima
- 4:56Speaker 1: is the likeness mine, the murth is, and immortal tality
- 5:00Speaker 1: is mine, and mind perfect felicity. Here ends Chapter fourteen
- 5:07Speaker 1: of the babed Ghitah.
