  Good things are coming. And for those of you that follow me locally,

  you know I love you all so much. I'm going to give you just a minute to share this.

  What I'm talking to you about today is that your help comes from the Lord.
• 0:32
  Your help does not come from a human being. And I know that this is challenging
• 0:36
  sometimes because, you know, you can feel like, well, I need help with finances,
• 0:41
  or I need this, or I need that.
• 0:43
  And then you can be tempted to go to people for your support.
• 0:46
  But God says that He is your support and He is your help.
• 0:50
  And Solomon said, I look to God from whence comes my help.
• 0:54
  And so, you know, it's important for you to realize that you don't need a person,
• 0:58
  that you've got God and that God can bless you. He can help you. He can strengthen you.

  He can increase you. He is the one that does good things for you.
• 1:07
  He is the one that's on your side. He is the one lifting you up,
• 1:10
  and He is the one that's doing great things. And so you might feel discouraged.
• 1:14
  You might feel like you've been looking at a situation and you're like,
• 1:16
  there's no way this is going to change.
• 1:19
  I've been like that. I've had my heart broken. I've been frustrated.
• 1:22
  I've been wondering, God, what's going on?
• 1:24
  So we've all been there at one time or another where we feel like something's
• 1:27
  going to change or God, please help us. And we don't know how it's going to change.
• 1:30
  And sometimes in that moment, you could be tempted to turn to people.
• 1:35
  And that's what I don't want you to do.
• 1:36
  All right. So the Bible says, Jesus beheld and said to them,
• 1:40
  with men it's impossible, but with God, all things are possible.
• 1:44
  So you can just say that out loud wherever you are.
• 1:46
  Say all things are possible in Jesus' name.
• 1:49
  And they are. So also my main scripture is going to come from Psalm 121.
• 1:54
  I will lift up my eyes from where comes my help.
• 1:58
  My help comes from the Lord. To me, that's very encouraging.

  That's a blessing. that tells me that, you know, God's watching out for me,
• 2:07
  that he loves me, and that he's going to make a way for me out of no way.
• 2:12
  And if you believe that, then your life can change. Amen. Because your help
• 2:16
  is not going to come from a person.
• 2:17
  Your help is going to come from the Lord.
• 2:20
  And so we all need to recognize that. All right, let's get right into it today. Just do this real quick.

  Forgive me, y'all. I'm sharing this real quick. Okay.

  Thank you, Jesus. Father, I pray for the broadcast today.

  Anybody that might be watching, I pray that you would help them,

  Your help comes from the Lord. Say this. Say, My help comes from the Lord.

  I'm believing God today, and my help comes from the Lord.

  You know, there's a warning in the Bible. You might not know this, but it's in Jeremiah 17.

  And it says, thus says the Lord, curse be the man that trust in man and makes
• 3:01
  flesh his arm and whose heart departs from God.
• 3:04
  So God actually warns us not to lean on a person, but it's human nature,
• 3:11
  isn't it? It's like, oh man, I'm really struggling.
• 3:14
  I need help with money. And then you go to a person. I'm not saying there's
• 3:16
  anything wrong with asking for help, but I'm saying that when you go to people
• 3:20
  for your help, then that could be a problem.
• 3:23
  And God wants to help you himself. If you just pray and you ask God,
• 3:27
  Father, I really need help in this situation, he will rescue you and he will help you.
• 3:31
  And so it's really important that you understand that because if you don't,
• 3:35
  if you go to people all the time, then God won't be your help.
• 3:38
  It's kind of like if you let people be your finance source, then God cannot be your finance source.
• 3:44
  If you let people be your help, then God can't be your help.
• 3:49
  Say amen if you believe it.
• 3:50
  All right, here's godly hacks number one. Don't look at the problem.
• 3:54
  Start looking to God. The Red Sea looked impossible, but God split it.
• 3:58
  Goliath looked unbeatable, but God brought him down. The famine,
• 4:01
  it looked deadly, but God fed Elijah.
• 4:04
  So your problem might be real, but God is so much greater than your problem.

  You might be suffering right now. You might be struggling, but I'm telling you,
• 4:12
  there's a God who loves you.
• 4:13
  He wants to reach right where you are and pull you out of your trouble,
• 4:16
  pull you out of this adversity. He really wants to help you.

  So say this, my help doesn't come from people. My help comes from the Lord.

  Just say that wherever you watch. Say my help doesn't come from people.

  Godly hack to don't make man your source. This is so important.

  Listen to me. People can be a blessing, but people are not your God.

  Job or job, Job. Jobs can be a blessing, but the job is not your God.

  And we have a tendency to think that if I just make more money and my job,
• 5:53
  then so if you let your job be your income, that's all the income you're going to get.

  But if you say, God, I trust you, you're my source, and then you tithe from
• 6:02
  your job, then God could like send money from, I don't know,
• 6:05
  from an inheritance, from an old bill where they owed you money,
• 6:08
  from he can open up resources you don't even know.
• 6:11
  I wish I could get this across to people, but for me, let's just take me.
• 6:14
  So I'm a minister and you could say, man, that person's a really good giver.
• 6:18
  You know, this person's a big giver. They're important to the church.
• 6:22
  And the minute you say that, God's gonna say, oh, goodbye to that giver.
• 6:26
  Say goodbye. Because you got to recognize God alone is my source.
• 6:30
  And the only reason people give to a ministry is because God stirs up their heart.
• 6:34
  So it's the Lord. It's the Lord that makes somebody give or not give.
• 6:38
  It's the Lord that helps. And it's God who helps you. It's not the job.
• 6:42
  And so the godly hack too is don't make man your source.
• 6:46
  The job can be a blessing. A person can be a blessing, a connection.

  But if you trust that person or you trust the flesh, then the Bible says in
• 6:54
  Jeremiah 17, seven, blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord and whose hope is on the Lord.

  You don't want to look to people like they're your source. All right.

  Godly hack three, obey God, even when it looks impossible. Moses had to stretch out his, his rod.

  Elijah had to go to the brook because there was a famine.

  David had to run towards the giant. Faith is not just believing God,
• 7:20
  faith moves like God will do it.

  So you need to say this, say, I will obey God even when I don't understand.

  All right, so let's get into some of these Bible verses to help you today.

  So Matthew 19, 26, Jesus beheld them and said, with men, it's impossible,
• 7:35
  but with God, all things are possible.

  So like me, I'm facing some impossible tasks sometimes, some stuff I'm believing God for.

  It looks way too big. It looks a little bit too hard, but I have to remind myself
• 7:47
  that with me, it's impossible, but with God, all things are possible.

  So I don't know what you're believing God for today. I don't know what it is
• 7:54
  that you need, but I just know you need to look to God.

  He is your help. He is your strength. He's the one that can help you.

  He's the only one that can help you. And if you look to him,

  you will not be disappointed.

  People might let you down. They might disappoint you, but God will never,

  never, never let you down. He is a faithful God.

  From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord. In other words, don't look at people.

  That's what that Bible verse is saying. Don't look to the left or the right.

  Don't look to your mother.

  Even for us ladies, don't look to our husbands. It's good that they work,

  but they're not your source. look to God and say, God, you are my source.

  It doesn't mean your help comes from people. It doesn't say your help comes

  from connections. It doesn't say your help comes from those who support you.

  My help comes from the Lord. Amen. And today that's what he's going to do for

  All right. So don't trust the arm of flesh. Jeremiah 17.

  Thus says the Lord, curse be the man who trusts in man and makes him his source.

  God is not saying that you can never receive help, but he's saying you don't

  make people your source. You know that the Bible says that God is a jealous God.

  And so that means that he just wants all your love all

  your attention he wants you to fix your face on him he wants

  you to trust him in every and all situations jeremiah 17

  7 blesses the man who trusts in the lord and
• 11:03
  whose hope is in the lord for he will be i love this first shall listen he'll

  be like a tree planted by the waters who spreads out his root and when the heat
• 11:12
  comes the leaf will be green and he won't have to be careful in the year of
• 11:17
  doubt it means that you can trust god and even in a drought season you will still be fruitful.

  Because why? Because you're planted, because you're not trusting on people,
• 11:26
  because your trust is in the Lord.
• 11:28
  Let's look at three quick incidents where God made the impossible possible. Y'all ready?
• 11:34
  Israel at the Red Sea. The children of Israel were trapped. Pharaoh's army was
• 11:37
  behind them, the Red Sea in front of them, and there wasn't anywhere to run, y'all.
• 11:41
  But God did not need a bridge. God didn't need a boat. God...
• 11:45
  He didn't need a bridge. God didn't need a boat. He's like, bam,
• 11:49
  I will split the sea. And they walked right through. Amen.
• 11:52
  And in Exodus 14, Moses said to the people, don't be afraid.
• 11:56
  Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. And I'll show you today the Egyptians that you've seen today.
• 12:01
  You will see them no more. The enemies you've got, you're not going to see them anymore.
• 12:05
  God's going to swallow them up. As long as you trust God, as long as God is
• 12:08
  your source and not you, as long as God is your way out and not yourself,
• 12:12
  that doesn't mean you don't do anything. It doesn't mean you don't step forward.
• 12:15
  It doesn't mean you don't take action, but it means that God loves you and he's
• 12:18
  working on your behalf, amen?

  Exodus 14, Moses stretched out his hand and the Lord caused the sea to move back.

  A strong wind came and there was dry land and the children of Israel went in
• 12:30
  the midst of the sea and God swallowed up their enemies.
• 12:33
  Woo, I like that. What about Elijah and the famine?
• 12:35
  Elijah was living during the famine and there was no food or supply, but God took care of him.
• 12:40
  In 1 Kings, it says, the word of the Lord came to him and said,
• 12:43
  get away and go eastward. I'm gonna put this up here so I can see. I'll hold on.
• 12:48
  There we go. The word of the Lord. And he came to him and said,
• 12:51
  get thee and turn eastward and hide yourself in the brook. And he did.
• 12:55
  And it'll be when you drink of the brook that I've commanded you,
• 12:57
  the ravens will feed you. So he went and did according to the word of the Lord.

  And he dwelt by the brook and the ravens brought him food. Come on,
• 13:05
  when God is on your side, he will cause birds to drop food at your feet.
• 13:09
  How am I gonna get this? A bird's gonna come, God will do it.
• 13:12
  God uses birds to bring them food. It means God is, this is important, listen to me.
• 13:16
  God is not limited by the economy, the grocery store, or your paycheck,
• 13:21
  or people who said they wouldn't help you.
• 13:23
  When the brook dried up, God still had another source prepared.
• 13:26
  That's why you gotta believe, I'm telling you, God is your source.
• 13:29
  And you gotta get it through your head if you're a person of faith.
• 13:32
  You are not limited by the economy. You're not limited by your lack.
• 13:35
  Only God knows what is possible.
• 13:38
  So when one source dries up, God's not finished. He already has another provision waiting for you.

  What about David facing Goliath? David was just a young shepherd boy.
• 13:47
  Goliath was a giant, and there's no way David could win that battle, and you know that.
• 13:51
  So David said to the Philistines, you come to me with a sword.
• 13:54
  Ooh, this is the attitude you gotta have.
• 13:56
  You come at me with a sword and a spear and a shield. You got all this stuff.

  But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of armies,
• 14:04
  who you've defied. And this day, the Lord will deliver you to my hand.

  I will smite you and all the assembly will know that the Lord saves,
• 14:13
  not with the sword and spear. The battle is the Lord.

  David's confidence was not in the sling. It wasn't in the stone,
• 14:19
  but it was in God. So the size of your enemy doesn't matter when the battle belongs to God.

  All right, so let's review these. Godly hack one, don't look at the problem.

  Start looking to God. The Red Sea looks impossible, but God split it.

  Now you might be standing at a red sea. You might have an enemy behind you and

  an ocean in front of you, but God is saying, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.

  It might be a famine, but God knows how to feed you. You could be facing a giant,
• 15:44
  but God knows how to bring it down.

  You might feel overlooked, like heaven has forgotten your name.

  I feel like that sometimes, but your help comes from God, not from man,
• 15:53
  not from money, not from popularity.
• 15:55
  So say this out loud, say that say, I trust God.
• 15:58
  My help comes from the Lord. With God, all things are possible.

  I won't fear the Red Sea. I won't fear the famine.
• 16:05
  I won't fear the giant. The Lord is my helper, my provider, my defender, and my way maker.

  Come on, you know, we love to sing that song. Way maker, miracle.

  You know, we sing that song.

  But is he really? That's my question to you. Is God really your way maker?

  Is he really your source?
• 16:24
  Do you really trust in him with all your heart, mind, soul, and spirit?

  Then prove it. then prove it. Then don't look to people anymore. Then just go before God.

  God, I need help with this. God, I'm lifting up my voice to you.

  Where comes my help? God, give me the connection. Show me what to do.

  Open the doors and help me. And I know like God's been talking to me.

  I don't know about you, but he really has been speaking to me.

  And, you know, there's so many things that can distract you in life,
• 16:47
  so many things that can mess you up in life. But, you know, I believe that God is correcting me.

  Even the way I preach, God is helping me and he's guiding me and stuff like
• 16:55
  that and you know for me as a preacher i've
• 16:58
  got a mission and my mission is to get the word into you to make you
• 17:01
  powerful not to make you weak and to make you
• 17:04
  strong it's not to criticize 10 million other ministries
• 17:07
  that i see that are clearly jacked up but my mission is
• 17:10
  to preach the word of god to you and i believe if i preach this
• 17:12
  word of god into you it'll change your life it'll strengthen you
• 17:15
  and it'll help you because you are not responsible for what other people do
• 17:18
  you're only responsible for what you do and i will tell you to say out loud
• 17:22
  every day god i trust you my help comes from you I look to the hills from where
• 17:28
  comes my help my help comes from the Lord and then you can go help God Lord
• 17:34
  help help my help comes from God as I say Lord help.

  And then in a famine, you'll get fed. And then when there's no finances,
• 17:42
  you'll get taken care of because God is your source, not people.
• 17:45
  And I know it's hard for Christians.
• 17:47
  We always want to look to people. I need help. I'm going to ask them for help.
• 17:50
  There's nothing wrong with asking for help, but it's a whole other level.
• 17:54
  When you stand in front of the maker of heaven and earth and say,
• 17:56
  God, I'm not asking for help.
• 17:58
  You're my help. You are my help.

  You're the one that helps me. Let's see if I can find this story on YouTube.

  Oh, let me see. Give me a second. I just thought of a story to encourage you,

  and we're going to close with this.

  Can you tell me the story of Whitfield when he had that orphan home and he didn't
• 18:15
  know how to feed him and he prayed a prayer and a milk truck broke down in front
• 18:18
  of it? I think it's Whitfield.

  Okay. Oh, George Mueller. So George Mueller—let's see.

  Yeah, okay. George Mueller had hundreds of orphans under his care,
• 18:31
  and one morning there was no food in the house.
• 18:34
  And we're talking about trusting God now. The children were seated at the table,
• 18:38
  but there was no bread, no milk, no breakfast.
• 18:41
  And one of the workers said something like, Mr. Miller, what are we going to
• 18:44
  do? The children are ready to eat, but there's nothing to give them.
• 18:47
  He did not panic. He told the children, sit down.
• 18:50
  And then he prayed, dear father, we thank you for what you're going to give
• 18:54
  us to eat. Can you imagine? These kids sitting down, there's no food.
• 18:57
  There was no food on the table, but he thanked God. Then there was a knock at the door. it was a baker.
• 19:04
  He said, I just was awoken in the night and I felt impressed that the orphans
• 19:08
  would need bread. So I baked extra bread and brought it to them.
• 19:12
  Then there was another knock. It was a milkman.
• 19:17
  This milk cart had broken down right in front of the orphanage and the milk would have spoiled.
• 19:22
  So he said, do the children need milk? In other words, it's going to spoil.
• 19:27
  So I can't give it to someone else. Can you use it? So the children had fresh
• 19:30
  bread and fresh milk, not because Muller had a rich sponsor standing in the
• 19:35
  way, but because he trusted God in prayer.
• 19:37
  And so I'm telling you that fate thanks God before the table is full.
• 19:42
  The Bible says in Philippians 4, 19, my God will supply all my need according
• 19:46
  to his riches and glory in Christ Jesus. Amen.

  I don't know what you're believing for. I'll tell you what I'm believing for.

  I'm believing for our land.
• 19:52
  God, I thank you for new land and a place to build or a church building or whatever it is you have.

  Father, I thank you for unlimited resources coming into my hands.

  I'm believing God for us to partner.

  I didn't tell you all this, but there is a school in Tanzania that I want to

  The maker of heaven and earth, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,

  the one who sits on the throne of heaven. He will never let you down.

  He is always faithful, always holy, always good, and ever ready to help you.

  Just like he protected Daniel in the lion's den, just like he made Paul last
• 20:59
  until he was ready to be poured out as a drink offering,

  just like he protected David with Goliath, just like he got all of his children
• 21:07
  out of Egypt and there was not one feeble among them and he helped them and strengthened them.

  That God, that same God is your God. He is my God and he is faithful.

  He is trustworthy and he will make a way out of no way. So don't go begging.

  Don't become a professional beggar. Just go to God just like George Mueller
