- 0:06Welcome inside the Treehouse Football Podcast. Wait wait, wait wait, I didn't
- 0:10say it properly the Treehouse Football Podcast. I'm really sure why I started saying
- 0:17it that way, but I feel like I'm stuck and I'm just gonna keep
- 0:20doing it. It just feels right, it's pleasant, it makes me,
- 0:25it makes me chuckle every time. Oh, thank you, Raj h so
- 0:29again, thank you for joining us inside the Treehouse Football Podcast. I'm danil
- 0:32Malley along with Tree Trenholm and Raj Sharma. You know you do you do
- 0:37football and Friday like that? Yeah? Yeah, we'll have to try the
- 0:42F bomb. The Cowboys lost to Carolina, you would have heard it along
- 0:50with all its other friends. Uh yeah, or maybe on the Plus show
- 0:56we can just have a the appearance of the bomb. Yeah, because it's
- 1:03the uncensored for the Patreon listeners, is the uncensored Treehouse. It is Treehouse
- 1:11Uncensored inside the Treehouse Plus program, which you can subscribe to Patreon dot com
- 1:15slash Treehouse on air. Of course you get the free football version right now,
- 1:19and of course the regular shows, the regular episode and of course the
- 1:23Friday shows all wrapped into one tidy treehouse you like to keep things kind of
- 1:29neat around here on occasion. But there was one f bomb this morning,
- 1:34and that was when I woke up and I saw that. Unfortunately it's the
- 1:42Philadelphia Eagles and everybody else because they managed to beat the Chiefs some Monday night
- 1:47football in Kansas City, and I was really really hopeful that the Chiefs would
- 1:52knock them down a notch, but instead it really does appear to be the
- 1:57Eagles and the top slot and everyone else is kind of clamoring for a second.
- 2:01Am I wrong? No, you're right. I I was at I
- 2:07was having dinner at Whiskey Cake and watching the game and it was great.
- 2:12I watched the first half and I was like, that's there. We go
- 2:14got to the third quarter and I was like there. You know what all
- 2:16they got to do is all the time management. You know, run the
- 2:20ball, kill the clock, you know, a classic standard, drive it
- 2:23into the ground, easy to do. And I went from Whiskey Cake to
- 2:30what the f I went Whiskey Cake to And I came home and I turned
- 2:34the TV and I was like, what what happened? I live eight minutes
- 2:38away from Whiskey Cake. What is what happened? Raj is you went from
- 2:43Whiskey cake to what Trey and I know as whiskey tango fox Trot. Yeah,
- 2:51I was. And then it just they just kind of they had the
- 2:54one possible moment, that one bit of hope when Valdez Scandling almost caught that
- 3:02there was sixty yard pass or forty five yard pass something like that and it
- 3:07was in his hands and you know, you gotta you know whatever it is
- 3:13maybe slightly a bit maybe overthrown because he had to stretch out for it,
- 3:16and then the weather conditions it was slick, and then after that they just
- 3:21kind of melted down. And I was like, Okay, I'm good.
- 3:23And I blamed this squarely on Taylor Swift. Oh interesting, she wasn't there.
- 3:30No, not that, because during the bye week, our buddy and
- 3:36romantic tight end, Travis Kelsey, flew to Buenos Aires to attend the Taylor
- 3:43Swift concert and that's a thirteen hour flight each way, so I'm sure he
- 3:50wasn't going coach though, So no, no, I'm not listen. I've
- 3:53traveled coach, I've traveled first class, business class, and I have traveled
- 3:59private. It's still tiring. It doesn't matter how it's still thirteen hours at
- 4:02a time difference, and then spent the day with her and then the concert,
- 4:06and then the next day and then flew out. So on their bye
- 4:11week he spent three and a half days to almost four days traveling and attending
- 4:16a concert. So I'm glad you brought this up, because when I saw
- 4:19Travis Kelcey at the Swift concert in South America, I immediately thought of Tony
- 4:28Romo, Jason Witten, and often forgotten that Bobby Carpenter was also there.
- 4:32The bye week, or not the bye week, but the off week that
- 4:36the Cowboys had because they had a first round by in the playoffs, and
- 4:43they spent it in Mexico. They went to Cabo with their women, and
- 4:46then they promptly lost in that divisional round and everyone blamed their lack of focus
- 4:51and all that because they took a trip, and I wondered, is Travis
- 4:55Kelcey going to face some of the same criticism as well. I mean,
- 5:00again, it's not even criticism, it's just it's just what when you travel
- 5:03like that, it's it is what it is. It is there. It's
- 5:06like when going to India. I've done it on Emirates coach, and I've
- 5:12done it in Emirates business Class and business class Emirates is just they might as
- 5:15well just build you an apartment. Yeah, I've seen those on YouTube.
- 5:20Yeah that's not fair. There there are apartments in New York smaller than those
- 5:26seats. Yeah, yes, and there's a full bar and there's a DJ.
- 5:30And I'm also pretty sure that coach on Emirates is still better than most
- 5:33airlines Business class. Yes it is. It's wonderful. I mean, you
- 5:39know the prospect of Jennifer Aniston popping out of the shower, Yeah, that
- 5:44is true, and like they again they have the showers. And then there's
- 5:46one I think there's one that goes in New York to Dubai that has a
- 5:49three bedroom apartment in it that is like twenty nine or thirty thousand dollars each
- 5:55leg per person. So I've done that. But it's still when you're going
- 6:00to India, you get there, their time difference, Uh yeah, you've
- 6:05slept and but you but you're sleeping on your schedule, so it doesn't.
- 6:10Your contention, though, is that the travel must have played a role and
- 6:13that's that's why the Chiefs lost. But there's not a lot of there's not
- 6:15a lot of same basically same time zones and not that's not that big of
- 6:20an issue. I mean, let me ask you a question, Yes,
- 6:24what do you think is harder that? Or you know, if they he
- 6:27and the boys took a three day trip to Vegas? Uh, the same,
- 6:30You're just you're still, you're still. I mean, it has nothing
- 6:33to do with it the concert. It's the it's the exhaustion from travel.
- 6:38And then you're an elite player and you're coming back into an elite sport.
- 6:42So you went from like, oh, fine, I'll just get I'll hop
- 6:44on my private jet and I'll sleep the whole way. That's the thought,
- 6:46I'll sleep the whole way. Doesn't It's funny that you think he's got a
- 6:48private jet, you know damn well it was hers, Oh that's a yeah,
- 6:53or or he rented or he borrowed Patrick's. Maybe maybe that was it.
- 6:58So then my question would be what do you think was more tiring for
- 7:00Travis Kelce the flight to and from South America or the sex with Taylor while
- 7:06he was there? Uh? Yeah, both, And then you have the
- 7:11air quality because she had to she had to miss a concert I believe,
- 7:14or there's some there was a I think a fan something that got injured or
- 7:17died or something like that, and they had to postpone one of them.
- 7:20And then there's the air quality issues like she was on stage at one point
- 7:24like she was having trouble breathing. And so you have the air quality,
- 7:27you have the travel, you have, the the as much sex as you
- 7:30can. Uh, and and then if you're trying to regain your strength.
- 7:33I'm sure the food is great, but it's still you're eating internationally, so
- 7:39you have to adjust to that. So you don't know what gastro intestinal issues
- 7:44Travis Kelsey was facing UH and Mahomes in that press conference afterwards. Still looks
- 7:48like he hasn't recovered from the flu, and I don't I'm serious. He
- 7:53looked, he looked exhausted, and so I don't know where he went in
- 7:57there bye week like that. Nobody don't. Nobody's covering him anymore, the
- 8:00Kelsey Swift UH era now and nobody's covering him in old Britney. Mahomes like
- 8:05there are we are we are we going through this whole thing just to rationalize
- 8:07that the Eagles aren't as good as they actually are, I think. No,
- 8:13I'm I'm just trying. I was just boggled my mind how they just
- 8:18kind of fell apart and they looked they looked decent in the first half and
- 8:22then got completely shut out in the second half. And that when That's why
- 8:26I asked the question, is it the Eagles and everybody else? Try?
- 8:28Yes, yeah, until and until someone can can show otherwise. I think
- 8:37that is the case. Go ahead, try. I'm still I'm at the
- 8:41beginning of the season. After the first two weeks, I think Eagles and
- 8:46and the Dolphins maybe the two best teams. And I've still I'm not really
- 8:50shying away from that because the Bills have are kind of a miss uh like
- 8:56Bill's Chiefs and the Dolphins seem to be the three that one of them is
- 8:58kind of comeing out of the A. But right now, like and I
- 9:01after the Cowboys game on Sunday, I was sitting here thinking about this.
- 9:05We're, you know, ten games in. I still don't know jecksh crap
- 9:11about that team. I can't figure out if they're they're good or you know,
- 9:18they're actually they can be really good, and they've just had some bad
- 9:20games. I don't know. I know the Eagles look, for the most
- 9:24part, look really good week in and week out. And I think what
- 9:26you've done there, Trey, is you hit the nail on the head for
- 9:28pretty much every team underneath the Eagles, because you have a number of teams
- 9:35in that similar win category. Uel, You've got the that was a dog,
- 9:43that's what That's what a fifteen sixteen year old dog sounds like when like
- 9:46hack sneezes. Wow. It's also coincidentally what I sounded like after the Cowboys
- 9:52lost to the Eagles Grandpa was visiting. You do have a few teams in
- 9:58that same sort of vicinity wreck wise. You got the Cowboys, you got
- 10:01the Seahawks, the Dolphins, like you mentioned, Trey's San Francisco obviously,
- 10:07and I think a lot of those teams are still trying to figure out exactly
- 10:11where they are. They know they're better than most everybody, but they're trying
- 10:15to figure out, Okay, can we get better enough to where we could
- 10:20actually do the whole thing? Yeah. I mean, it is not taking
- 10:28anything away from Philadelphia. They look incredible and that comeback was amazing, and
- 10:33they did exactly what I was trying to tell the Chiefs to do it is
- 10:35like, just just just kill the clock. That's all you gotta do,
- 10:39and they did an excellent job of that. But yeah, it is I
- 10:43think you guys are I think Tray's hit it on the head. They're very
- 10:46I think I don't know what it is, but what it appears to me
- 10:48is like they psyche themselves out based on media hype. Right, so it's
- 10:52like, can they beat the Eagles, can they beat the Niners? Is
- 10:56this gonna be? Like is this gonna be a repeat of last year?
- 10:58And then they get there with all the confidence that they've had from a previous
- 11:01win or a bye week and everybody, so it's as healthy as they can
- 11:05be. And then they come in they're like, I don't think we it's
- 11:07just a look on their faces, like the start off like they're in an
- 11:11uphill battle when they should just level the playing field and start from there.
- 11:16At every game, and granted, I know that both outcomes were blowouts,
- 11:20but I am somewhat optimistic at the beginning of the last two games against Carolina
- 11:28and against the Giants. It's not like the Cowboys took that opening kickoff at
- 11:33that opening series and March right down the field and got a touchdown. Both
- 11:37were not successful, right right, and they didn't let that get to them.
- 11:41And sometimes I feel like that does like if they don't get out to
- 11:46a quick start, then they seem to have that deer in headlights looked on
- 11:50their faces. Yeah, I don't know if we can do this today.
- 11:54It's like, my god, you're gonna have at least, you know,
- 11:56like ten more possessions in this game. That one didn't work, go figure
- 12:00it out for the next one. And that was if you're going back to
- 12:03last week, that kind of fragile psyche is why that on that first drive
- 12:07going for it on fourth and goal. I was like, just take the
- 12:09points because you don't know how that's gonna affect that team. You're right,
- 12:15maybe that's what it is. Maybe maybe, uh, maybe McCarthy needs to
- 12:20treat these grown men, professional athletes more like the little giants and and realize
- 12:26that if they don't do well in that opening uh series, they can get
- 12:31you know, kind of tanter me, not like you know, angry tantamy,
- 12:35but just like sad and and wanting their their their bankies and things because
- 12:39things didn't go exactly as they wanted to, and they don't really seem to
- 12:43know how to respond. And I think that's the problem. I I think
- 12:48we need angry tanter me, not you know, give me your binkie in
- 12:50a bottle. Yeah, that's the fists pounding in the zone. Ye,
- 12:54yes, that's uh, that's the thing that I was talking about. The
- 12:58I don't know what when they say, you know, he's got it whatever
- 13:01it is like Aikman had that I have. I never saw it in Romo.
- 13:07I never saw him with that it factor. I think Dak does.
- 13:09But he's like they're all his buddies and he doesn't want to yell at his
- 13:13buddies. It's a very it's a very gen z millennial whatever you want to
- 13:16call it, where it's like I don't want to yell at you, man,
- 13:18but please do your job and be greatly appreciated. Like that's the kind
- 13:22of stuff that comes across. It's like it's like, oh, instead,
- 13:24it's it's a passive aggressively liking other wide receivers catching balls in the end zone.
- 13:31Yes, that's that's what it is. Like, Hey man, it's
- 13:33no, it's nothing against you. It's just you know, I got to
- 13:35give him a chance too, and you're like, come on, guys,
- 13:37let's we're all athletes, we're all making millions of dollars. Let's stop.
- 13:39But it is that deer in the headlights. Look. I was trying to
- 13:41figure out what it is. But it's like they get like they get lost,
- 13:45and it's even in Dak's eyes, Like I want to see that.
- 13:48I want to see like what I can which game it was, but Aikman
- 13:52was not happy. And I don't know if he just didn't get enough to
- 13:54drink during halftime or whatever it was, but he threw his helmet. I
- 14:00remember one time, threw his helmet across the bench, uh and started yelling
- 14:03at the offensive line and I was like, hey man, that's awesome,
- 14:07but they're way out numbered and they're way btter than you. And then he
- 14:13knew how to lit a light of fire. And I haven't seen anybody since
- 14:16then. Yes, now now in his defense, and this is something you
- 14:22always have to remember, yeah, is and in a lot of his years,
- 14:26Aikman really this that was pre salary cap and if Egman really wanted to,
- 14:30if he really had a problem with somebody, he could go to Jimmy
- 14:31and say cut him and they would cut him. Yeah, absolutely so.
- 14:35Yeah, but he still had that like it. He still had the thing
- 14:39when he could go as the last quarterback. I've seen really have that where
- 14:43you know, absolutely irate showing you know, his lineman's ass too, and
- 14:48everyone's ass. You just don't see that that much anymore, I mean really,
- 14:52And maybe it is generational, yeah, because it is the difference of
- 14:58we were all brought up like you know, kind of you learn from failure
- 15:01and it makes you want to not do it again, and everyone else after
- 15:05us is like, oh, it's okay. You know. Yeah, I
- 15:09joke. I joke about it all the time when I do the when I
- 15:13talk about the playing you know, on stage, when I talk about playing
- 15:15football. I was like, you know, like this generation, like you
- 15:16know who told me I sucked? My coach who told me I was terrible?
- 15:20And I was like, if that guy, I'm gonna I'm gonna go
- 15:24back into Jim's mor and work harder. Yeah, that's what it was.
- 15:26It was a big fu uh And I don't see that. It's like Tony
- 15:30Rome was the aw shucks thing, like whenever he throw an interception, like,
- 15:33oh darn, I'll get it next time. I'm like, what are
- 15:35you doing, dude? Like what they're paying you millions of dollars? Uh,
- 15:39what are you doing? And it's kind of a weird combination too,
- 15:45that is Dak where he doesn't he's got the he's got the drive and he's
- 15:48got the intensity, but he can't like he can't get that to his teammates.
- 15:52Sometimes. I think Romo was different in that Romo had that mental attitude
- 15:58of like, if rom whoever started really taking it seriously when he threw an
- 16:02interception that I think he would have fallen apart. I think that was that
- 16:03more that Brett Favre gunslinger attitude of you know what you're gonna miss, you
- 16:10know some of the shots you take, but we're gonna still, you know,
- 16:11keep taking them. I mean, you look at his quarterback rating and
- 16:15it was one of the best in the NFL of all time. I mean
- 16:17there's no doubt. But he just didn't he couldn't get to the he couldn't
- 16:21get to the dance. And that's the thing. It wasn't like it was
- 16:23a well, you know, we did our best of the season. We
- 16:26looked good, the team, the team, Romo, I think could have
- 16:30like was that year he got injured and Dak took over. That was the
- 16:33team that I think if he ever had if he had ever had a chance
- 16:37to make it, that was the team. I feel like if for for
- 16:40Romo Cowboys seasons, there were three that really really should have gone differently.
- 16:48One is where he broke his back in Seattle and uh Dak was like fourth
- 16:52string at the time, third or fourth string because and then he gets the
- 16:56opportunity and it never gets back to Romo. That's one, because you're right,
- 17:00that team was built. This is this is Romo's last ride. The
- 17:03one before that, I believe it's a twenty fourteen season, the des caught
- 17:07It game. Everyone remembers that game because it's does caught it? Dos caught
- 17:11it? Does caught it. Had DeMarco Murray not fumbled it earlier in the
- 17:17game, he would still be running in Green Bay. He would have taken
- 17:21that possibly to the house, and it would have been a different game.
- 17:23Even if he just doesn't fumble and gets tackled five yards later, it's a
- 17:26different game. And then the one before that, the Giants divisional round loss,
- 17:32when it's it's Patrick Crayton drops the pass from Romo that would have been
- 17:37a first down and instead he drops the pass incomplete, Giants get the ball
- 17:41back. Game over. Yeah, those those are three things, and that's
- 17:45and it's obviously way off, you know from us talking about is it you
- 17:48know, the Eagles and everybody else. Well, we've kind of answered that,
- 17:51yes it is, and then we're back to wondering can the Cowboys this
- 17:56is what in essence, what we've been discussing the last ten minutes. Can
- 18:00the Cowboys make that leap to get to that threshold where the Eagles are?
- 18:07And honestly, we're going to find out in just a couple of more weeks
- 18:10because you know, they got to come to Arlington. I think that this
- 18:15week, the Thanksgiving game actually may provide some you know, clarity because Detroit
- 18:21is not a bad team. No, they're good, right, and which
- 18:26makes me glad I'm not playing them because we're playing Washington, that's right.
- 18:30Yea, we have Detroit in December, which could be bad enough. Yeah,
- 18:37might not think, but yeah, I mean when you talk about just
- 18:40dynamic players like you you know, Dak is great, but Ceedee Lamb is
- 18:45dynamic. Uh, you know, turping every time there's a kick return.
- 18:52I'm looking at him like, is this the one that goes to the house?
- 18:53Like he's a dynamic player. And I just wish they had more moments
- 18:57of that where they can show other people on that team that are that are
- 19:04superstars that can bring that could elevate the game to where it needs to go.
- 19:07I would love to just like what what what Trey was saying is like
- 19:11I can't figure it out. Sometimes one person does and three in the next
- 19:14game, three people do, or four people or five people. You know
- 19:17what we need? Yeah, I realized what the Cowboys need. They just
- 19:21need what you're saying, Raj, Like Aikman had that edge that it that
- 19:23he could, you know, you know, motivate his guys to another level.
- 19:30That's what the Cowboys seem to need because we haven't seen it from anybody,
- 19:33right, we don't see someone really getting in that ass. And what
- 19:41they need is someone to scream at them and and threaten them and to make
- 19:48them feel like their jobs and their lives are on the line. I nominate
- 19:52Trade Trenholme that he could do it. And here's the thing you can put
- 20:03that. You can put that play sheet in front of your mouth all day
- 20:07and everyone's everyone's still gonna hear it, and everyone's gonna feel it. You're
- 20:14just gonna see the vein in his head stick out. The players on the
- 20:17other side of the field, they're thinking, Man, I'm glad we're over
- 20:18here. Why is he saying punt so much? You know that's that's not
- 20:30what he's saying. You're listening to the Treehouse. Visit us online that Treehouse
- 20:48on Air dot com. Why is he calling them the punt team on third
- 20:51down? You're in the tree House. Visit us online at Treehouseonair dot com.
- 21:10Welcome back to the Treehouse Football Podcast. So now that we know it's
- 21:15the Eagles and everybody else, the question mark is still are the Cowboys good
- 21:22or not? Which is not a new question. That's something we ask every
- 21:26stinking year and have for thirty years. And this is another one of those
- 21:30seasons where we're not going to find out until the playoffs at this point,
- 21:34assuming they're making it, and we'll see what happens. But if history has
- 21:40taught us anything it's that they'll cough it up, either in the wild card
- 21:44or definitely the divisional round. But we'll see. Maybe this year will be
- 21:48different. It's clearly the definition of insanity. But don't know what it is
- 21:53to be a Cowboys fan. All that being said, now Cowboys are in
- 22:00it. They're in that Thanksgiving gauntlet. They come off the win in Carolina.
- 22:06While impressive, it's still against at the time a one in eight Carolina
- 22:11team against a rookie quarterback. So what is what it is. We'll take
- 22:15the win, We'll take it with some style points and go into this week
- 22:18a divisional matchup against Washington, and Washington sort of in that tier just below
- 22:25the Cowboys record wise, although I think emotionally they're in an even more sensitive
- 22:30state than they were a week ago because they just lost to the Giants.
- 22:34Yeah, that was that was an interesting like I couldn't. I was actually
- 22:41in San Marcus. What. I was watching the game with a buddy of
- 22:45mine and his girl is a Washington I saw a Giants fan and I was
- 22:52like, and she was. She was trying to tell me she was wearing
- 22:53Cowboy blue and I'm like, that's not that's that's not the same blue.
- 22:57And she's like, I just want to tell you I'm from New York.
- 23:00I was like, okay, Giants fan, and she kept checking the score
- 23:04and she was laughing. I was like, what's going on. She's like,
- 23:07we're beating the Commanders. And I was like, oh, you're not
- 23:12stop it silly with Danny DeVito or Derek Davito or whatever whoever it is this
- 23:22week, Derek whatever his name is, I don't know if his mom dropped
- 23:26him off in time for the game. I don't know what's going on.
- 23:30And then she was very you know, She's like, well, let's get
- 23:33another round of beers. I was like, oh, okay. And then
- 23:37turns out they win with this guy, and I'm like, all right,
- 23:41man, good And here's the only thing I could think. It's like,
- 23:44good for that kid. He's gonna have so much to talk to his parents
- 23:48on the way home. Here's the thing that was actually a road game.
- 23:51So what that what I what I think happens there is Tommy DeVito uh not
- 23:56only gets driven to the airport by by his parents by mom, but then
- 24:00I'm assuming they have to check him in with the the gate agents as part
- 24:06of the minor traveling alone program. He's got this little name Plattern around.
- 24:11It's gonna a little tour of the cockpit. He's gonna get the little little
- 24:17souvenir wings because the pilot let him sit on his lap and asked him if
- 24:21he like Gladiator movies and then gave him an extra bag of nuts, and
- 24:26then finished the trip to Washington where they he looked actually pretty darn good and
- 24:32beat up on the commanders and then gets put back on the plane with the
- 24:36minor traveling alone assistance. Yeah, and maybe he gets ice cream on the
- 24:41way home after mom and Dad picked him up from the airport. You know,
- 24:47I mean, you can still mamie. Mom and Dad rode with him
- 24:48on the train from New York to DC. You can still do that.
- 24:52And maybe they went sightseeing. They they went and saw the White Actually know,
- 24:56I know the backstory. I actually know the whole story on that.
- 25:00He was not able to go sightseeing with the rest of the team because his
- 25:03parents didn't fill out the permissions. They just left him. He's too young
- 25:15to understand anything anyway, So it's okay, poor fellow, But he won
- 25:19a game. It's so good he did win a game. So again,
- 25:22now we get back to Washington feeling extra low because they got whipped up on
- 25:27by a minor traveling alone quarterbacking the Giants, and now they got to go
- 25:33on the road to Arlington on Thanksgiving and face the Cowboys who are coming off
- 25:40of how much I've off the top of my head of brain farted now how
- 25:44many points they've scored in like the last three weeks. But I mean it
- 25:47was what forty the week before you got thirty three three? So I mean
- 25:51one hundred points in the last couple of weeks. Yeah, yeah, I
- 25:56mean it's gonna be you know again, I'll pre it's gonna be a blowout
- 26:00again. It's just is they they lost to the Giants, and they were
- 26:04coming in with that energy and we one hundred points in the last three weeks,
- 26:08that that kind of energy, and I think that makes a world of
- 26:11difference. And you're going into now you're going into like what Trey was saying,
- 26:15like, now we have to figure out do we how do we look
- 26:19going into this these last few uh, these last you know, several games,
- 26:25and what team are we now? And so I think that's what this
- 26:29this game is, Like Tray was saying, this game is what we'll see
- 26:30and go, oh, okay, yes they can do it, and they
- 26:33can they can take on the Eagles when they come home, when they come
- 26:37to Arlington or or not or and you can kind of go, you know
- 26:41what, it's it was a good season. You know, we can see
- 26:42what they're going to kind of do. But I I think it's gonna be
- 26:45a blowout for this one. So it's gonna be fun to watch. It's
- 26:51gonna definitely taste better on a on a Cowboys victory Thanksgiving. It does,
- 26:56it does. And I got mine for a dollar, so my the dollar
- 27:00turkey is gonna taste as an Indian. Uh, it's gonna be even great.
- 27:03That's the best Cowboys and Indians Thanksgiving ever. Uh because my dollar turkey's
- 27:11gonna taste like a million bucks when they win. So it's gonna be It's
- 27:15gonna be nice. It does make you wonder though, like the kids that
- 27:15are you know, like halftime football, are they you know, are they
- 27:19still They're probably not doing Cowboys and Indians anymore because it's not PC, but
- 27:23are they actually going on? But it's Cowboys versus commanders? What is a
- 27:29commander? Like? I don't understand, like what is your mask? My
- 27:32problem is when they renamed themselves the commanders, I was knee deep in watching
- 27:36Handmaid's Tales, So that was really a poor choice of mask. Yeah,
- 27:45nobody filled them in on that one. Okay, yeah, I just uh,
- 27:49I don't even know what they're What is it? Who's there? What
- 27:52is their mascot? I don't even know what that is. It's a commander?
- 27:56Do we know what it is? Honestly, does anybody know what they're
- 28:00that Scott his I think it's a guy. His name is Steve Commander where
- 28:08we laugh? But it may actually be something I'm not sure. I'm not
- 28:14I'm not. I am not up to date on NFL mascots. I will
- 28:17freely admit that. Yeah, I mean like you got lions, we get
- 28:22it right, Seahawks, okay, you're a bird. Falcons commanders like I
- 28:26can't figure out it's like that, like the Guardians, like, I think
- 28:30that's named after a bridge. Actually, I was putting too much thought into
- 28:37it. They really didn't do much of a a new mascot other than they
- 28:41The commander's new mascot is Major Tuddy the Hog. Major Tuddy the Hog little
- 28:52hat tip to the old hog offensive lineman back in the day for the Washington
- 28:56Redskins. Gotcha okay, uh, all right, the major Tuddy the hog.
- 29:02All right, does that mean he has a hat? He does?
- 29:06He has headwear and there you go. He has headwear worn by actual military
- 29:12commanders. They went, they went extra far to be PC, They went
- 29:23the farthest you could. He needs a hat. Thank you for your service.
- 29:30I'm gonna put it on a pig. This is all funny now,
- 29:40but if the Cowboys lose to them on Thanksgiving, I'm gonna everywhere all over.
- 29:45It's going to be Thanksgiving all over the walls. Yeah. I will
- 29:49never eat Thanksgiving again. No, actually, you know what I will.
- 29:53The difference is, though, I will be switching out pig for the turkey.
- 30:00It's a Thanksgiving pat on his head because it's got to be official.
- 30:15All right. I don't know about you guys, but I feel like my
