- 0:44So we'll go through this and I probably won't have kind things to say about
- 0:48the other people on the boats. Just a forewarning. On the boat,
- 0:51just a forewarning. I don't have the nicest things to say about them,
- 0:55well especially some of them. They act like they're so innocent in all this
- 0:58and everything. But we were just a lot for the run. Yeah we
- 1:00he Paul made us do this. He put a gun to her head and
- 1:03made us get on and then go drink and then get back on the boat.
- 1:07Yeah. So anyways, we'll get into that. So if you if

- 1:42Okay, what the hell is? And why? Because she's from the
- 1:47new Real Housewives in New York and she was standing there and someone said,

- 3:29can watch the decline in real time, folks. Anyways, all right,
- 3:32on the upside, the children will get to holiday. Anyways. Stewart came
- 3:40from a broken home, all right, So without further ado, let's get
- 3:45into the Murdoch murders. Mallory Beach. Malory Madison Beach was born April eighteenth,
- 3:53nineteen ninety nine, in Walterboro, South Carolina, to Philip and Renee
- 3:55Beach Malorie Madison. That is definitely some late nineteen nineties names right there.
- 4:01Those were the big ones. Next to like it's like whenever Brittany and Jessica
- 4:06were world big names, like probably ten years earlier, and soybody was named
- 4:10Brittany and Jessica. I have no idea about those. Anyways. She about
- 4:14Ashley and Madison. Stuart, what I'm wrong with you? Anyway, she
- 4:18had two older sisters. Those were popular names. You just said Ashley and
- 4:23Madison. I just said Mallory and Madison were popular names. Yeah, Ashley
- 4:27Madison was popular names. Yes, I know the name Stewart, I know
- 4:32what the website is. Yeah, you check to see if all was on.
- 4:35No, oh please, you have to be a sugar daddy. You
- 4:40ain't no sugar daddy. Yeah, I'm a sugar daddy. No, you're
- 4:44not who sugar daddy? Are you? I'm a daddy and I have sugar
- 4:48in the house. So weird. I'm just disturbed by you. Anyways.
- 4:56She had two older sisters Morgan and Savannah do not Stewart do not Fine.
- 5:05Anyways, Mallory was a very pretty girl. She was popular and sweet.
- 5:11Mallory. She would make a best friend in preschool named Miley Altman, and
- 5:15they would be inseparable throughout their childhood and teen years. She would attend Wade
- 5:19Hampton High School, where she excelled at soccer. She enjoyed hunting and going
- 5:24to church and was an animal lover, even wanting to become a veterinarian at
- 5:27one point. You know, I never understood like animal lover and hunting.
- 5:30But I guess she liked dogs and then like to shoot deer. But I've
- 5:35just never been into hunting so well, I have, but it's like work.
- 5:42We see. I was, I'm an animal lover, but for a
- 5:44long time I went the different way than Mallory. I became a vegetarian because
- 5:49I loved the animal so much. For ten years, she went the opposite
- 5:54direction with her No. Then I moved to Louisiana and they broke me.
- 5:59I corrupt. Yeah. It started with started with sexting. It was seafood
- 6:04and night. Yeah. So anyways, during her teen years, Mallory and
- 6:10Miley would add Morgan Dowdy to their friend groups. So we have Mallory,
- 6:14Miley, and Morgan. Oh my god, this is gonna be confusing for
- 6:18me. You know what, parents in the late nineties, we really should
- 6:21have came up with a different letter to start all the names with besides M.
- 6:27So anyways, they were all three living quintessential teenage lives. Miley had
- 6:30a longtime boyfriend named Connor Cook, also another very popular name in the late
- 6:34nineties, Connor who had It's like they named there. It's like they went
- 6:39on the top ten Names of Baby list that year and then just like,
- 6:42yeah, we'll just do this. So anyways, he was cousins and best
- 6:46friends with Anthony Cook. Anthony had known Mallory almost his whole life. Mallory
- 6:51was friends with his sister from a young age, and Mallory had always just
- 6:55been around like his sister, like with their four and five, She's hanged
- 7:00around. He's like the little bit older brother or whatever, you know,
- 7:01and so she used to annoy him and everything. And then as we'll see,
- 7:05it turned into something else. So as the two grew older, the
- 7:09friendship would turn into something more. Wow, It's like it's like almost like
- 7:13I wrote that or something. And on New Year's Eve twenty eighteen, Anthony
- 7:18finally asked Mallory to be his girlfriend. Now, Morgan had been dating Paul
- 7:23Murdoch since junior year of high school. So we got Anthony and Mallory.
- 7:26There a couple. Morgan the other one of the other group friends or whatever
- 7:30was dating Paul Murdoch. And then we had Paul, Anthony and Connor were
- 7:34best friends dating the three other best friends, Morgan, Mallory and Miley because
- 7:39Molly was dating Connor. So just to recap Paul and Morgan, Anthony and
- 7:46Mallory and Mallory's the person we're going to be covering most of this episode.
- 7:50But as everybody's familiar with, it's all around it. All the friends are
- 7:56involved, Connor and Miley. We got it, Cyrus. No, No,
- 8:01they did everything together from prom to go into the river to going on
- 8:03trips and they were just having the time of their lives. Are they doing
- 8:07some tubing? Probably Stuart probably tubing tubing? Why? Why are you shaking
- 8:16your head? Oh my god, I'm like, yeah, you're a grand
- 8:18all right, I take it back. The bathroom is not going to be
- 8:22into this marriage. It's going to be the recording of this episode us.
- 8:28I just want to I just want to punch a stupid face. You want
- 8:31to punch me in my stupid face? Now? As um which might have
- 8:39it? The what? Yeah, I don't know who is saying this.
- 8:46Oh my god. However I can understand who who why they're saying it.
- 8:50What are you talking about Paul and Morgan? Yes, they were a bit
- 8:54of an odd match. I don't know who is saying this, but I
- 8:58understand why are saying it. It's probably going around town like what is she
- 9:03doing with that dude? Or what is he doing with her? Why?
- 9:07Because he's rich and she's poor? Why? I don't even know she's poor.
- 9:11She's just not Murdoch rich. Are they? Are they Charleston rich as
- 9:16you said last episode, Yes, he's well, no, they're not even
- 9:20Charleston rich. But fuck, what are their names? I don't know Morgan.
- 9:28It's not my fault. They all start with yam. Okay, Morgan
- 9:33is from what I understand, isn't like I mean, you're just not Murdoch
- 9:37rich. You're not you're not established in the town, you're not originally from
- 9:43Long Island or as I guess they say up north Long Island. Okay,
- 9:48Long Island. I don't know. That's what I've heard. We went to
- 9:52we went to a Poe Boy festival today and Stewart had some of the Poe
- 9:58Boys there, but he didn't eat anything else for dinner. And now he's
- 10:01had a couple. So, um, that's all I'm going to say.
- 10:05Sure, we're talking about last week, this episode where you cut out about
- 10:09thirty minutes. You talking about Oregon and Crispin. Oh god, yeah,
- 10:15last week was bad. Yeah. If we would have kept all that audience,
- 10:20you guys would have not been here today now, And like I quit
- 10:24these people. So anyway, they're a bit of an odd match. That's
- 10:28where we're at. Yeah, right, they're a bit of an odd match.
- 10:30Morgan's family, they're from Long Island. Come on, we said enough,
- 10:35I got something about Jersey. I do have a thing about Jersey.
- 10:39I got all kinds of stuff for the end of this pod. Anyway,
- 10:41Morgan's family was a working class family. Paul was a member of the murder
- 10:48Oof whatever you call it, family, who was a very powerful family in
- 10:52Hampton County. As you may all be aware, Yeah, we're going to
- 10:56go into a little bit of the history because we didn't cover much of the
- 10:58Murdoch family and how they how they're so powerful. We didn't cover it too
- 11:03much in the first episode, so this will be a little rundown of it.
- 11:07Now. Hampton County is in what is known in South Carolina as part
- 11:11of the low Country. Low Country is a region in South Carolina at the
- 11:16southernmost tip. It gets this name from the fact that most of the area,
- 11:20which consists of cities like Charleston, Charleston, Charleston, I say,
- 11:24I say so. I don't know why. Every time I say Charleston or
- 11:28think of Charleston, I think they speak like a fog horn leghorn from the
- 11:33Looney Tunes. I say so, I'll say, oh, I think they
- 11:37do kind of what they used to. Maybe. Okay, Charleston, Hilton
- 11:41Head, and Beaufort. Now they all lie below sea level. I thought
- 11:46New Orleans was the only major city to lie below sea level because New Orleans
- 11:50about five feet below. There's levees all around it. Okay, well,
- 11:52I did my research in this definitely below sea level. Yes, yes,
- 11:58I don't know. If they don't have levies, I guess well, anyway,
- 12:03it all started with the Murdoch's great great grandfather fellow by the name of
- 12:09Randolph murdochs Senior. Randolph started a law firm in nineteen ten in Hampton,
- 12:15South Carolina, and he would then go on to become the solicitor in Hampton
- 12:20County area from nineteen twenty until nineteen forty, when he died after his car
- 12:26was struck by a train. Do I feel like this is something they might
- 12:31not have heard? I found this little tidbit, little nugget. Now what
- 12:37a solicitor is in it's the lead da in an area. I guess the
- 12:43region of the county or whatever it's called, is what I assume, since
- 12:50it's not spelled out for me. Okay, well, I will also I
- 12:54will also correct. I thought it wouldmit I had found something. They said
- 12:58it was blow sea level, but they said both of the low country sits
- 13:01about two hundred and seventy feet above sea level. Charleston is actually eight feet
- 13:05above sea level, which isn't much, no, no, But New Orleans
- 13:09is five feet below. Oh that's what they get for the debauchery, for
- 13:18the sin of Bourbon Street. Now, in the months before Rudolph's death,
- 13:22he had been ill and his son, Randolph scare quotes Buster Mardock Junior filled
- 13:30in for him frequently at court. Now, Randolph's death was ruled an accident,
- 13:35but rumors swirled that he stopped on the tracks on purpose. Yeah.
- 13:41This this family has been causing rumors and chaos since the beginning. Well,
- 13:46what I'm guessing is that Randolph Senior was doing a bathroom remodel with his wife.
- 13:54He's just like, fucking fuck it, trains coming. I'm stopping here
- 14:01now. The fact that it was ruled an accident, that didn't stop the
- 14:03Murdoch the Junior from suing the rail rail Oh jesus, here we go from
- 14:11suing the railway and went in just saying what I just need a nap and
- 14:20a poe boy. Now, upon the death of his father, Buster Junior
- 14:24would win the election to become the solicitor and would serve in that position until
- 14:30nineteen eighty six. During that time, the civil litigation firm that his father
- 14:35had started, Pmpeed Law Group thrived in the town pimped if you will,
- 14:45the Pimp Law group them. Yeah. So, anyways, is that it's
- 14:50Stewart that is all I have. So basically the Murdochs had been doing some
- 14:54shady ship from the beginning. They're like, we'll sue, we'll do whatever.
- 14:58We're trying to make some money. Well, it sounds like Dad was
- 15:00a well great great grandpa was a He's like, hey, I'm a lawyer.
- 15:05I'm gonna start this. Uh, I'm gonna become a da basically solicitor.
- 15:11Yes, now I'm depressed. I'm gonna get run over by Well No,
- 15:15I read some I read some things that he was like terminally ill and
- 15:18stuff like that. So they're saying that maybe he did that to kind of
- 15:22like get some money for his family because he was going to die anyways,
- 15:26and this was a way to do it. So you get that life insurance
- 15:28going a little quicker and like sue in the railroad and all that stuff like
- 15:33that. So you think he'd planning for his son Junior to sue the railroad.
- 15:35Yeah, they probably talked about it. Yeah, these are like not
- 15:39the best people, so you think they're just you think they're just riding going
- 15:41all the way from the core back to the top. Yeah, I'd like
- 15:45to see what the Murdocks were before even this guy god knows what they were
- 15:48back before there was internet and ship you could hide. You could just hide
- 15:52shit. Yep, all right. So upon Buster Junior's retirement because he'd retired
- 15:58in nineteen eighty six, his son, Randolph Murdoch the Third would become Slister
- 16:03until he retired in two thousand and six. This is when the line of
- 16:07Murdock's being the solister of the fourteenth Judicial Circuit would end, but their power
- 16:11would not. They had a long line of power in the private sector through
- 16:15the family law firm, that pimped law firm. You know. With all
- 16:19this power came money. And this was, like we said, old money,
- 16:22this is generational wealth. This is not new money like them trash from
- 16:27Vanderpump rules. And I'm like, I'm totally in VPR now, Like it's
- 16:34you know, it was dying in the last couple of seasons too, like
- 16:37we were. We were losing some steam. They tried to bring in those
- 16:40new people and it was terrible and everything like that. There's a there's a
- 16:42select group people right now they're listening to this and going like, yes,
- 16:45carry you were right, but we have breathed new life into it. And
- 16:48now I'm like rewatching. I'm like, oh my god, Raquel and Tom,
- 16:52I'm seeing it. I see it all anyway, So so yeah,
- 16:56they're old money, not that trashy new money. Now. Paul's father,
- 17:00Richard Alexander Murdoch, was a lawyer as well and beneficiary, beneficiary to all
- 17:07of this power and money. He would marry Margaret Maggie Bransteader and they would
- 17:11have two sons, Richard alex Alexander Murdoch Junior, who went by Buster and
- 17:18Paul. These people gotta get some fucking new names, Like can we just
- 17:19get some creativity up in here? I mean, I understand like random pump
- 17:23rolls like got like ocean and lake and summer and stuff like that, but
- 17:27a little crazy, but we could use a little flare in these names instead
- 17:32of everything's Buster or Alexander or Randolph. No, can we get a Crispin?
- 17:38Can we not get Crispin? Crispin would fit totally into this family.
- 17:42Steward just saying so anyways, it must be noted that the men in this
- 17:48family, Stewy, can't we gotta we gotta talk about it, had shocking
- 17:52one had shockingly oranges, red hair, and these weird creeps. Toddler smiles.
- 18:03You know, you know what everybody's talking about, the toddler smile.
- 18:06When you tell your toddler to smile and they do well, not ours.
- 18:07Ours won't smile at all. But um, she refuses to have pictures taken.
- 18:12Um. But you know, like when you tell like a little kid
- 18:15to smile and they do that, like creepy, creepy smile. That's like
- 18:21all their teeth their show it and they're just like what You're like, what
- 18:22are you doing? No? Act normal? Like Chandler, Oh my god,
- 18:26I just read them. I just read the Matthew Perry. But okay,
- 18:32I listened to the audio. Why I was cleaning or whatever. You're
- 18:37shut the fuck up, Steward, I listened to it or whatever. And
- 18:40anyways, but Chandler, when he was trying to take his engagement photos,
- 18:42Steward, he had that creepy smile. So that's what the Mardox had,
- 18:48part yes and parrot with um carrot top red hair. So anyways, that
- 18:55just has to be no, we got to paint a picture. So they
- 18:56had multiple homes and properties in the family and louting a one thousand, seven
- 19:00hundred and seventy two acre plot of land called Mozille. The boys ran rampant
- 19:07at this property, especially Paul. Paul was the wild one who pushed boundaries.
- 19:11Buster was, you know, the more responsible one. He was the
- 19:14one. Yeah, he was the one that was supposed to follow in his
- 19:15father's footsteps. He is Richard Alexander Murdoch junior. So he's right there.
- 19:22He's the oldest. He's next in the life for the monarchy. Yeah,
- 19:26so he's yeah, he's like air in despair. You know. William's going
- 19:29to be the Prince Harry. We're just hoping he doesn't fuck it up too
- 19:32hard. And so Paul is Harry. They even got the red hair.
- 19:34It's all this lining up. So anyways, so, um, who's Megan
- 19:40Markel and all this? We don't we don't know. But if you're here's
- 19:42Pippa. But if you're visiting from England this summer in the US, please
- 19:48take William and Kate with you. Are not William and Kate, I don't
- 19:53know, you don't even know, Okay, So anyways, pack him back
- 19:56with you, they would, um um, and maybe justin Bieber back to
- 20:03Canada anyway, so they would become or Buster's supposed to become a lawyer and
- 20:07work at the family front like firm. Like we said, he's supposed to
- 20:10fall in the footsteps and all that. I don't know why. I'll see
- 20:15what happens. We'll see. Now. The six friends that we spoke of,
- 20:19all most of them with a bunch of names to start with him,
- 20:23a couple that don't. They would party out at Moselle property. And they
- 20:29noted that Paul began drinking at a very young age, at around fourteen years
- 20:33old, which and Louisian's about normal. Okay, well it wasn't for me.
- 20:38That's not normal. Stewart. I understand you heathens over here, but
- 20:41us in Texas, well, you go to Marty Garl. You do what
- 20:45you do on Marty Garl. I know you guys are heathens over here.
- 20:48Now, drinking was a big part of the Mardoc family. They always had
- 20:53an alcohol around. They would allow their children to drink. Now, see
- 20:57that was not allowed. If you were going to drink in Louisiana and be
- 21:02underage, you had to go out and sneak around. You had to have
- 21:04some show some respect. You had to show some respect. You can just
- 21:07sit there and hey, mom, throw me a bear. Yeah no,
- 21:11that shit didn't fly. But like, no, I'm gonna smack you upside
- 21:15your head. What do you mean, throw you a bear? You best
- 21:17go drink that out back behind the shed. Best go buy that sh illegally.
- 21:21And don't you be taking my stash, because I don't become a home
- 21:26drunk either. Yeah. Now, the Murdoch parents would pretty much let the
- 21:30boys just run wild. They could pretty much do anything they wanted. When
- 21:34Paul drank, reports are he would act very strange, and they even had
- 21:41a nickname for his alter ego. Whenever he got to the point of no
- 21:45return. I mean, we've all gotten to the point of no return whenever
- 21:49we're drinking. Yeah, you just get to that point. You just tip
- 21:52over the edge and you're like, oh god. Yeah. But a lot
- 21:56of people there's two reactions. Some people like if I drink too much,
- 22:00I just go to bed like I'm just done. But there's other people that
- 22:03drink too much and they get like super happy, or they getting old Paul
- 22:07and get an alter ego, which they called Timmy. Oh my God's gonna
- 22:12come. Don't tell the park Stormy. Yeah, Timmy got those weird hands.
- 22:22It was almost like the it reminded me of like the Wednesday Adam hands
- 22:26when she was like doing her dance with my Hams hands hands. Now at
- 22:33this time, as time went on, Miley began not liking Paul. She
- 22:38tolerated him because it was her best friend's boyfriend, but she was pretty uncomfortable
- 22:45with his level of drinking and the way that he treated her friend. Whenever
- 22:48he would get really blasted blackout and this was pretty blackout drunk, and this
- 22:55was frequent, he didn't have the stop button like when he started drinking.
- 22:57Now it was on, so he would get the blackout drunk, keep on
- 23:02truck and turn into Timmy. Yeah. So if you've ever had those friends
- 23:07that get blackout drunk and they just keep on motoring on and you're like,
- 23:10oh, you're like, go to sleep, go to fucking sleep. Like
- 23:14Bethany said, I don't know what that is, just sonia. I don't
- 23:18know the real housewife. I know it's probably a housewife. Somebody got blackout
- 23:23drunk and just kept sonia like would mix like pills and alcohol, and then
- 23:27she started acting all strange and everything. And then finally Bethany just had enough
- 23:32and she's like, go sleep. So the alcohol and the pain pills would
- 23:37counter out. Well, it was supposed to be. I don't remember.
- 23:40It was like I can't remember what she was taking pills for it. Anyways,
- 23:41that's not what we're here people anywhere. We're just trying to explain that
- 23:45Timmy. Timmy, which is Paul's alter ego, would keep on truck and
- 23:49whenever Paula needed to go to school. Yeah, so they would even have
- 23:52videos and they had like time prints and stuff, and he'd be like six
- 23:56thirty am and he's still like what is the beer beer funneler? When he's
- 24:00still he's still doing shots at six am? And you know us bad.
- 24:04Unless you started at six thirty am for Mardi Gras to be on a parade
- 24:07float, then you should you should be in you should be in bed.
- 24:11Yeah, you shouldn't see two of those in it. Yeah, you shouldn't
- 24:12see six pm and six am in the same same wake period. Uh,
- 24:18yeah you should. That's a normal waking hours for most working folks. Do
- 24:23what you shouldn't see a six pm and a six am. You shouldn't see
- 24:27six pm then six am. Well, yeah you would, because you would
- 24:30go to bed maybe nine or ten in the wake up at six I'm saying,
- 24:34in the same wake window, wake window. Oh we're talking about wake
- 24:37windows, like you're being awake. You shouldn't be awake at six pm and
- 24:42still awake at six But if you work the night shift. Here we go.
- 24:49What if we were remodel our bathroom? What if we put our separate
- 24:56ways? Anyways, all right, we'll just one second now. Paul and
- 25:02Morgan, they would break up frequently. Evidently they'd have issues, break up,
- 25:07get back together. I don't know who does this. Well, there's
- 25:11children's steward there. I never fifteen, sixteen year old, and he has
- 25:15a drinking problem at a young age. I mean, I don't know who
- 25:18these people are. The breakup. There are children's stewards. Like when I
- 25:22break up, I don't get back together. Okay, Well they're teenagers.
- 25:26When I was a teenager, I didn't break up. Okay. Well,
- 25:29Paul had a lot of money, so I'm sure he had a lot going
- 25:32for him. It wasn't the fiery red hair. It was his money.
- 25:34Let's be honest with Paul. Was no liquor. You think it was the
- 25:37bulge? Yes, I told you guys, you're not gonna like my opinions
- 25:44on these people. You're not gonna like them. I'm just saying. Now,
- 25:48Paul went on to start hitting Morgan, which is completely unacceptable. We
- 25:52all agree on that that's unacceptable. So he was actually evolving from just being
- 25:57a weirdo to an abusive, violent person whenever he drank. Now, one
- 26:04time Paul insisted on driving with Morgan in the car and they crashed, Now
- 26:10after he'd been drinking. Because it sounds like he was always fucked up.
- 26:14Yeah, he always had a blood alcohol content level of point o eight or
- 26:18something like. He was right there on the edge. Now, instead of
- 26:22involving the police, they called Grandpa Randolph to clean up the mess that he
- 26:26had created, along with Paul's parents. Yeah, Grandpa was like the go
- 26:30to guy for Paul. He called him a lot. Yeah, I'm guessing
- 26:33they all. Randolph had a soft spot for old Paul because he was kind
- 26:37of a As we'll find out, he was not the favorite child out of
- 26:42the two. Now, well, you can't compete with that red headed devil.
- 26:47Busters, No, he's the heir to the throne. Now, during
- 26:51this time, Mallory was there for Morgan, and they encouraged her to leave
- 26:56Paul. However, she wouldn't listen no, no, despite the drinking in
- 27:03his back of his pants too much. On February twenty third, twenty nineteen,
- 27:07the six friends, all under age, ranging from nineteen to twenty years
- 27:11old, were headed to an oyster roast. I think there was a couple
- 27:15of them. I think maybe Anthony might have been three days shy of twenty
- 27:18one, and there was another one that was roll closed. So they decided
- 27:22to take Paul's boat up Beaufort River. They began drinking when they arrived at
- 27:26Paul's Grandpa's river house and then headed onto the roast oyster roast. It was
- 27:32a cold night in the low Country because it's you know, February, pretty
- 27:34chilly, gets chilly around it, yes, especially on a river, you
- 27:37know with the wind stuff. Yep. So they continue to drink, and
- 27:45friends around them they start noticing that they probably should not be driving back on
- 27:48that boat. None of them like the whole time that night, they're taking
- 27:53snapchats of them drinking, you know, getting like white claw wasted. You
- 28:00know, ain't no laws when you're drinking claws and stuff. That's your favorite.
- 28:03Yeah, and they're all underage doing this. They have video of Pole
- 28:06going in getting beer from using his brother's idea to get beer and you're like
- 28:11holding it up like yeah, I got it, guys, and things like
- 28:14that. So I just want to state right now, none of these people
- 28:18are innocent at this moment. Everyone makes it everyone, Yes, they are,
- 28:23I understand. Whenever I first heard this, I thought they were all
- 28:26I really did think they were all like fifteen and sixteen year old. I'm
- 28:30like, okay, they just like really they were completely huh. I didn't
- 28:33think they were well, I know that, sir. I'm telling what I
- 28:36thought. For fuck's sake, I'm telling what I thought. Okay, I
- 28:40thought they were fifteen and sixteen years old. I thought they just didn't know
- 28:42what they were getting themselves into. They were completely unawares. But then after
- 28:47I looked into this and everything and started watching documentaries and reading stuff about this,
- 28:51I'm like, these are like grown ass people. They've been drinking heavily
- 28:55for years, like with Paul and stuff like that. They made Poles sound
- 28:59out like the worst, like the only drunk guy and the whole thing.
- 29:02When you watch these like on Netflix and everything the documentaries, he wasn't the
- 29:06only one out there drinking in excess. They're all doing it, and they're
- 29:08all willing participants in it. And they're all saying, we knew Paul was
- 29:12becoming Yeah new Paul was just drinking so much and we couldn't believe how much
- 29:18he was drinking and he was becoming this timmy person. Yeah, and we
- 29:22were just mortified. They're like, they're all over they're just sipping there one
- 29:26glass of rose that they had all night. I just can't believe Paul would
- 29:30act like this. Why bitch, you were acting like this, Like,
- 29:33don't even start. Anyways, like I said, we do not have probably
- 29:38the most popular opinions of these people, these grown adults. I'm not gonna
- 29:42call them children. These are grown adults. So anyways, because they also
- 29:47put other people's I mean, there could have been somebody, I mean,
- 29:48I don't know who else would be out on a boat in the middle of
- 29:51the night, but they could have injured other people, ran into wherever.
- 29:55So anyways, we'll continue one. So anyway, so, like I said,
- 30:00they're not listening to their friends, but that we're saying, like maybe
- 30:03these guys shouldn't be drinking at the oyster rows. They get on the boat,
- 30:06they continue on with their night, and Connor and Paul they want to
- 30:10stop at a bar on the way back to the river house. So they
- 30:12did this. There's video of them stopping, popping off, stopping at this
- 30:18bar, throwing back a few shots. It's just Connor and Paul. The
- 30:21other ones are just outside like playing on the swings and acting old chill and
- 30:23everything. Everything's good. Nobody was in there for the documentary or in there.
- 30:27We're like, yeah, and we knew that we shouldn't have stopped.
- 30:32We shouldn't have got on the boat because Paul was so drunk. Yeah,
- 30:37well no, they no, they didn't say no. They never said they
- 30:40didn't. They never said we shouldn't have stopped. They said Paul and Connor
- 30:45wanted to stop. We didn't want to stop. I'm like, you bitches
- 30:48are over there swinging on those uh just on the playground. Lottie'd freaking dah
- 30:52over there, and nobody's saying like maybe I should call an uber and get
- 30:56home instead of getting on this boat. Nobody did that stop. So if
- 31:00you have flew into an airport and Paul and Connor went into the barn dead
- 31:03shots, are you getting back on the airplane with them to fly to your
- 31:07next destination? Well, if they're not the pilot, now, if they
- 31:10are the pilots, because that well one of them was the pilot, one
- 31:12was the called pilot. Anyways, so they they're thrown back of these shots.
- 31:18At this point, it's one seventeen am. The friends all get back
- 31:22on the boat and they say that Paul he shouldn't have been he should not
- 31:26have been driving. But he insisted that he was driving this boat. But
- 31:30you see them, it's caught on camera, every single one of them is
- 31:33walking down to the dock, laughing, and nobody's being dragged onto this boat
- 31:37or anything. I understand they were all drinking and stuff, but like,
- 31:41let's not pretend you guys weren't making poor choices too. Paul's a shitty person.
- 31:45I get it. He's terrible person. He hit Morgan. He's just
- 31:49a shit head. But the fact is is that the rest of you participated
- 31:53in the drinking, got on the boat willingly. And I'm sure after you
- 31:57got on the boat you thought whole shit. This is a lot worse than
- 32:01what I thought. But you all knew how much he'd been drinking a bar,
- 32:06knew he turned into Timmy. Okay. So anyway, so as they're
- 32:10driving on the boat, they all begin getting angry because Paul he's acting erratic.
- 32:16He's taking his hands off the steering wheel. He starts fighting them.
- 32:20They start fighting amongst themselves and everything comes to a head when Paul actually slaps
- 32:24Morgan. He at this point he calls her a fucking whore and he spits
- 32:29on her. Now, at this point, they tried to help Paul with
- 32:32the steering, but eventually they give up. Paul had stripped down to us,
- 32:37don't give up, this is what I'm saying. So anyways, Paul
- 32:39strips down to his underwear while he's driving this boat and everything. And around
- 32:44two thirty am, they all just settled down on the boat, hoping they
- 32:45can just make it to the river house. And that's why that's when they
- 32:50see themselves headed for a bridge and the next thing you know, they've collided
- 32:52with the So okay, are you telling me from the time they left the
- 32:55bar, they haven't even made it back. It's already been an hour.
- 33:00Yeah, they've been driving is So they left the oyster roast. I don't
- 33:05know what time, however long that took to get to the bar. Yes,
- 33:07Stewart drank at the bar and then it's been another hour driving at two
- 33:10o'clock in the morning. Yes, so anyway, so okay, so anyway,
- 33:15So what I'm saying is that they all participating in the drinking. They
- 33:17all got on the boat. Yes, when they got on the boat,
- 33:21Paul turned into a complete abusive assholes hits Morgan all this stuff. They see
- 33:27that he's far worse off than they probably even themselves knew because they had been
- 33:31drinking. But at this point it's like when you see someone that's drunker than
- 33:35you're like, oh shit, I thought I was drunk. They're really drunk,
- 33:38and this isn't good. And he's in charge of like steering this boat.
- 33:40So there they all just are hoping that they can make it, and
- 33:45they don't. Yeah, so they hit this bridge, chaos and sues.
- 33:52It's fifty four degrees outside, the water's even colder. It's dark out,
- 33:57it's fogging, the tide was strong. All the friends are there except for
- 34:01Mallorie. So everybody gets in this boat wreck. They all pop up.
- 34:07They're either on land. They're coming out of the water, out of the
- 34:09river, crawling up on land. One of the group calls nine one one
- 34:14when they got to the shore, and you can hear the girl screaming,
- 34:16where's Mallory wears? Mallory wears Mallory. Bodycam footage shows the chaos after the
- 34:22incident. Paul's first request was a telephone. One telephone, Yes, a
- 34:29telephone. Oh, you mean like an iPhone. Yeah. Now, once
- 34:34Paul gets a phone, he calls his grandfather, Randolph and tells him they
- 34:37were in a boat crash and that Connor was driving through. Goddamn Connor on
- 34:42the bus. Yes, he did. The girls are over here of this,
- 34:46and they're shocked. They all knew that Paul was the one that was
- 34:49driving. Anthony is distraught. He's screaming at Paul, who was smirking,
- 34:54supposedly smirking during all this time. And Paul's obviously as kid going by as
- 35:01moniker Timmy are not going by it. Yeah, So he's over there smirking,
- 35:06and Anthony's going, I can't find my girl, my girlfriend's missing and
- 35:10everything, blah blah blah, just screaming at him. So the parents were
- 35:15contacted and began coming to the scene. During all of this, the only
- 35:20parents not contacted were actually Malory's, who is the one person missing. So
- 35:24Anthony's mom told the police that they need to contact Mallorie's parents, and the
- 35:30police officers are like, yeah, we probably should do that or whatever,
- 35:32but they actually never do. So Philip and Renee they find out about the
- 35:37incident from Renee's mother, not the police. They learned that most because Renee's
- 35:42mother, I guess had you know all this chaos is happening. This is
- 35:45small a relatively small town. She hears word from it and everything because they're
- 35:50all like involved with some of them are involved with like the jail, with
- 35:53the police station, everything, And so Renee's mother, which would have been
- 35:58a Mallory's grandmother, here about this. They learned that most of the injured
- 36:02were at Beaufort Memorial, but Mallory was not, so the parents they head
- 36:07over to Beaufort, but decided to go to the side of the accident where
- 36:10they believe Mallory is because they're like, what are we going to the hospital
- 36:14for? I mean, our kids not there, Like, what do we
- 36:16even do? Yeah, nobody said, she's at the hospital. Yeah,
- 36:20after they find the bridge where the crash occurred, they see that their search
- 36:23parties looking for Mallory. Anthony was still there at the side. At this
- 36:29point, he would not leave. He said, I'm not going anywhere until
- 36:31you guys find Mallory. Because again, this is Anthony Mallory. They had
- 36:35started dating at the New Year and they're madly in love and all this,
- 36:38yadida YadA, kindly mean, yeah, okay before the remodel. Yeah,
- 36:46so Anthony's just completely distraught about this. Yeah. So here at the hospitals
- 36:52where things start getting really shitty with the Mardock. I mean, as if
- 36:57the stuff we talked about Paul wasn't bad enough to the rest of the bench.
- 37:02So here we are. We got Morgan, Miley, Paul, and
- 37:05Connor. They're all being traded at the hospital, yes, the four of
- 37:08them, because Mallory's missing and Anthony won't leave. Yeah, so four it
- 37:14to hospital, and based on the snapchat photos that are being circulated, we
- 37:19see that Connor had a very large wound across his left jaw up to his
- 37:22lip, and that Morgan had large lacerations across her fingers. Don't get me
- 37:28fucking started on the snapchats. These were their own personal snapchats. They're taking
- 37:32up their injuries and sending out like look at my injury and stuff, And
- 37:37I'm like, I'm were they duck facing while they were doing I'm trying to
- 37:40be I'm trying to be nice about them and stuff, but don't fucking tell
- 37:45me you're just like so distraught and just Paul's the worst person, and you're
- 37:49so upset. I'm sure they're very upset about Mallorie missing, but why the
- 37:52fuck are you taking snapchat photos and sending them out? Because there was no
- 37:55tektok videos time, zero patients for these people's zero Tony. If they had
- 38:04some contrition on their interviews, I would be like, Okay, yeah,
- 38:07we were really screw it up. We should have done all. They were
- 38:12drank and we shouldn't have gone on a boat with the dumb motherfucker. Yeah,
- 38:14I mean, but there's none. They were like, oh, he
- 38:16he went to timmy mode. And we tried to stop and we tried to
- 38:20take his keys, we tried to get all this stuff to stop him,
- 38:22but he was like no, I'm gonna go. We're like, okay,
- 38:24let's get on the boat. With him then, yeah, because guess what,
- 38:28Timmy had money. Okay, yeah, Timmy had a lot of money.
- 38:30Even when whether he was Timmy or Paup, Timmy treated them to very
- 38:35nice lives, all of them. They went to things like the Final like
- 38:37the girlfriend and stuff. She went to like the Final four had like front
- 38:42row seats. They went to different vacations. I'm sure that was great on
- 38:45the snapchats. Oh yeah, looking great on them? Are the grams?
- 38:49They didn't have the grams back? Yeah they did. Anyway, moving on,
- 38:55like we said, unpopular opinions over here. Since Paul was the drunkest,
- 39:00he was of course the least injured, but he was still pretty shit
- 39:06faced. He eventually had a breathalyzer several hours after the crash. Blood alcohol
- 39:13content was point two four and just about any state these days, before you
- 39:17get arrested, it's point oh eight. So he's three times a legal limit,
- 39:22which I can't even believe. I guess he just had had created like
- 39:25a high tolerance, because I mean I think at that point a lot of
- 39:29people would be passed passed out. It's like the But going back to the
- 39:34Matthew Perry books, du he was up to eighteen hundred milligrams of oxycodone a
- 39:37day, like he had the addiction to even get to a point where he
- 39:42could function because of addiction. And apparently like the starting dose is like five
- 39:46or ten milligrams, and he's up to eighteen hundred milligrams. Like he was
- 39:50at the point where they were like, he's like, there's not enough in
- 39:52the world for me to be okay anymore. I'm at that point. Yeah,
- 39:58that's a lot of shit to get high. Yeah. So yeah,
- 40:01so we're I'm guessing at this point, Paul is pointed, is just as
- 40:06him waking up in the morning. Yeah, he's just that's his baseline.
- 40:08That's his baseline. Is legally drunk now, it was described He was described
- 40:15as angry and nasty by the hospital staff. And soon after everyone arrived at
- 40:20the hospital, Randolph Old, Grandpa and dad Alex Murdos showed up the at
- 40:27the hospital and they immediately go into spin mode to clean up a lawyers.
- 40:31Yeah, there their attorneys, so they stopped police from talking to Paul.
- 40:37Of course, Alex think, well, that's what you can't have that drunk
- 40:44motherfucker saying anything. Alex then calls up Connor's parents to tell them that Connor
- 40:50was driving the boat and that he would make sure Connor was taken care of.
- 40:54Alex and Randolph were busy in the hospital making sure everybody, including the
- 41:00place, thought the Connor was driving the boat. Now, I will say,
- 41:02I don't like to defend Alex Murdoch or the grandpa, and we will
- 41:07continue to call him Alex because he likes to say his name is Alec.
- 41:09But your name is not Alex. Your name is Alexander Alex for short.
- 41:15You have an ex at the end, you don't have a seat, and
- 41:16you're not a Murdoch, You're a Murdough. So yeah, you're Alex Murdoch.
- 41:22And I mean that one doesn't matter as much, but it does to
- 41:24me. You're a complete fraud. But anyway, anyways, apparently Paul had
- 41:30told them that Connor was driving, so they are going under the assumption.
- 41:34But I think maybe that it seemed like at first they thought Connor was driving,
- 41:38but then I think they found out Paul was driving, but they still
- 41:42continued the cover up. Yeah, even after they left the hospital or like,
- 41:45oh shit, Paul is driving. Oh yeah, well, well,
- 41:47well we'll protect Paul we'll go out of court for Paul. We'll Claire Connor.
- 41:52No that that ain't Claire Connor. Yeah. So anyways, um,
- 41:55the search that didn't make sense. But anyway I'm saying, and that even
- 42:00after they found out the truth, they were like, no, Connor was
- 42:04still driving. Yes, they found out at first they thought it was Connor
- 42:07because that's what Paul told him. Then they found out that Paul was actually
- 42:10driving, but they continued the light that Connor was driving. So the search
- 42:15for Mallory continued into the next day. They had helicopters, divers, boats
- 42:21searching the water in the area. There was a large group of volunteers showing
- 42:23up with personal boats trying to find Mallory. The search for Mallory was all
- 42:28over the news, and the rumors began about Paul being drunk and driving started
- 42:32to swirl like this is they're talking about it. The Murdocks were right in
- 42:37the middle of the investigation into the boating accident the whole entire time, Like
- 42:40they've implanted themselves in with the police and with the Sheriff's department. Everything that
- 42:46you could possibly think of they've gotten themselves into, including the fact that Alex's
- 42:52brother, which would be Paul's uncle, actually took his truck and helped hould
- 42:59the boat out of the water. And they were also Yeah, so they
- 43:02were allowed to be with the evidence of everything like that. Yeah. And
- 43:07they were also allowed down near where the crash occurred. While Mallory's parents her
- 43:13they wanted to go down there and just like look around and see I don't
- 43:15I mean, I don't know what they want to see, just be near
- 43:17where their daughter had gone missing. And the police were like, no,
- 43:22you can't do that, so if you interrupt our crimes saying. But the
- 43:27Murdochs just they sat there, they were sitting in their car and they were
- 43:29told they couldn't go down there, and they just watched the Murdochs just walk
- 43:31right down into the crime scene. Yes, because at this point it is
- 43:36a crime scene. Now. It was easy to see that the Murdochs were
- 43:39receiving special privileges and they were trying to paint a picture of what happened that
- 43:43night, and they wanted to make sure Connor had all the blame. On
- 43:47March third, twenty nineteen, a week after the accident, to search and
- 43:51rescue swimmers called into nine one one Statium that they had found Mallory about five
- 43:59miles down river from the crash, and autopsy revealed that Mallory died from blunt
- 44:04forest trauma and drowning. So I'm guessing that she got hit and the head
- 44:10knocked, unconscious, tossed in the water, and then she drowned after that.
- 44:15So she was alive when she went in the water and she drowned,
- 44:19I'm guessing because she was unconscious from what I gathered. Yeah, I mean,
- 44:22if they had unfortunately, if it hadn't been so dark and foggy and
- 44:24everything that in the water so cold, if someone had been able to locate
- 44:29her. But it sounds like she hit her head and then probably sunk straight
- 44:31to the bottom because she wasn't she was unconscious. But yeah, unfortunately,
- 44:36if someone had been able to find her, if she might have survived.
- 44:39Quite possible. Yeah, So after finding Mallory's body, they're waiting for it.
- 44:45The family are waiting for an arrest of Paul for driving Wall under the
- 44:51influence and killing Mallory. But nothing happened. Can I just add Stewart and
- 44:54I Ken I'm not trying to harp on these other people because this tragedy feel
- 44:59very well. I don't mind, as it's not about new about the bathroom
- 45:05anyways. These it just it's aggravating watching the other friends in the documentaries doing
- 45:14these interviews. And and yes, Paul was a terrible person. Paul was
- 45:16abusive, Paul was a horrible drunk. He was an asshole. We all
- 45:21we all are, we all get that. But if any of them,
- 45:24at the level that they had been drinking that evening, had taken the wheel
- 45:30of that boat, maybe they would have maybe they would have made it,
- 45:34maybe they wouldn't have crashed anything. It could have been a different outcome.
- 45:37But all of them were too drunk to be driving that boat. So let's
- 45:42not act like if if if like the Anthony guys just like oh I was
- 45:45trying to like take over the wheel. It's like, dude, the Connor
- 45:49guy was doing shots in the bar with the Yeah. I mean like,
- 45:53let's not let's not pretend that we're all like saints on this boat and we're
- 45:58all just just just like stand up citizens over here, like oh god,
- 46:01believe Paul was drinking. But anyways, that point, I just want to
- 46:07point that out that they that any of them would have been above the legal
- 46:10limit driving this boat, and all of them were under age and shouldn't have
- 46:14been drinking the first place. If you're gonna drink, just stay at the
- 46:16Dane Grandpa's river house, like stay at Moe's. Hell, yeah, you
- 46:22got it good. Don't drive your four wheelers mine, get shit faced or
- 46:25whatever out there. Don't get on the water. Yeah, and they could
- 46:29have called an ubern't that. I mean, you probably shouldn't be dropping poor
- 46:31wheels. But if you're on that property, at least you're only going to
- 46:36hurt yourselves, not somebody else. They could have hurt somebody else in this
- 46:38situation. Yeah, they could have heard a boat coming the other way up
- 46:42the river. Yeah. I don't know who ran into it from understand like
- 46:45boat safety and really not supposed to be out there at night. Probably shouldn't
- 46:50anyway, it's not a two thirty in the morning for sure. Anyway,
- 46:53Getting back to the parents, they decide to hire a lawyer to look into
- 46:58this crash. Now they get a biomechanical engineer to recreate the crash. They
- 47:05found the one in the entire country, kiddy, did they there was only
- 47:08one? Now they want he want. The family wanted to determine where everybody
- 47:15was in the boat based on their injuries. So this biomedical engineer determined that
- 47:22Paul was driving, not Connor, because he determined that Connor would not have
- 47:28sustained the injuries he did if he was behind the wheel. The lawyer also
- 47:32finds all the footage leading up to the crash showing that Paul was purchasing the
- 47:37alcohol using Buster's ID. Yeah, like we mentioned, he was out there,
- 47:42like, but they were all cheering him on there we did it.
- 47:45Yeah, Yeah, he was raising up like yeah, I got it,
- 47:50guys, I did it now. The PI also learns that most of the
- 47:54lead officers responded to the scene of the crime, I mean, the accident
- 48:00and doing interviews at the hospital were buddies with the Murdock's phone records even show
- 48:07that Alex Murdoch was calling one of the investigators while that investigator was at the
- 48:12hospital talking to Morgan, Miley, Connor, and Paul. This information was
- 48:17brought forward and the public outcry question why Paul had not been charged. Yeah,
- 48:23I mean, like I said, everybody was drunk, but he was
- 48:27the one driving. The fact is is that he's the one driving. Everybody
- 48:30said it, they had evidence that said he was driving. The fact is
- 48:35is that if everybody's drunk in the vehicle, but you're the one driving,
- 48:37you're the one that gets charged. Yes, just the way it is,
- 48:40because I have been the drunk passenger somebody else got pulled over and I was
- 48:45like, dude, I was just here for the run. Yeah, in
- 48:49Stu's younger days, not currently, no current, I'm always the drunk passenger.
- 48:52Yes, yes, I told Stu was like, whatever, you know,
- 48:59because stass On Vanderpunt rolls, she has her like dark passenger and I
- 49:02tell stud that, I'm like, that's just my dark pass She just stole
- 49:06that shit from deck I know, but that's just my dark passenger. So
- 49:08anyways, yeah, like the Poe boyd the Poe boy thing today, Stu
- 49:15was my designated driver. That's how it was. And you still shit on
- 49:20me all day anyway, not literally, not metaphorically. Yeah, Now I
- 49:24didn't Stu what I got after you. I got after you like at the
- 49:28end of the day. But whatever. Anyway. Finally, on April eighteenth,
- 49:32twenty nineteen, which would have been Mallory's twentieth birthday, Paul was charged
- 49:39with three counts. Yep. Very symbolic that it was on her birthday.
- 49:44I feel like I feel like they might have planned that one. It was
- 49:46like that episode that we had where the I think it was Dominique. They
- 49:52had the trial on the wedding on Valentine's Day or whatever. You think that
- 49:57the purpose? Yeah, I think they did purpose well. One count was
- 50:01of Booie bolting under the influence with a water if you're fancy, yes,
- 50:12with a water device, resulting in depth. Two counts of Bui with a
- 50:16water device with great bodily injury. The charges could result in up to twenty
- 50:23five years in prison, but probably won't. But probably won't for Paul because
- 50:29he was not arrested and booked in the jail. He was waiting in an
- 50:35arrayment that would occur on May six, twenty nineteen, so he's not arrested
- 50:40from this. He's just said like, go about your business, go about
- 50:45your business. Well, have you come down the courthouse. We don't want
- 50:51to, We don't want to ruin Star Wars Day for you, So um
- 50:53our Star Trek Day, Star Trek May the fourth be with you. Just
- 50:59angered a lot of people. Star Wars Okay, we don't want to We
- 51:02don't want to run that day, so we're gonna do it May sixth Okay.
- 51:07Now, soon after the charges were filed, the solicitor, two judges,
- 51:10and the Beauford County Sheriff's Department recused themselves due to connections with the Murdochs.
- 51:15If that don't tell you what, that'll tell you something about the Murdochs.
- 51:19I don't know what does. The whole entire legal system was like,
- 51:22I'm out, I'm too close to this whole situation. I'm gonna get Yeah,
- 51:29I've been out the old Moseille anyway. So this was a big story
- 51:32in the area. A member of a very powerful family, powerful family was
- 51:37being brought up on felony charges. This doesn't happen every day. Now.
- 51:40Three months later, his bell hearing was held and he was released on his
- 51:45own reconnaissance. Paul was never once put in handcuffs, a jumpsuit, nothing
- 51:50like a normal person who would have been charged with similar chart crimes would have
- 51:55done like and they don't. They're not saying they some like people. Journalists
- 52:00went and looked at people who had been charged with similar things, and they
- 52:05said every single one woman, was put in a jumpsuit, was put in
- 52:07handcuffs, was booked like a normal person. His mug shot wasn't even taken
- 52:13at the gael like with the normal you know, how tall are you?
- 52:16You got your number or whatever in front of it. It wasn't like that.
- 52:20They took him out in the hallway and his like dress clothes of the
- 52:23court at the court and they just took him out in the hallway and took
- 52:25his mug shot. So this is completely being treated as a he's like somebody
- 52:32got the specials. Yeah. So upon his release, Paul went to live
- 52:37on the Mozelle property in a little farmhouse located other because like we said,
- 52:40it's over seventeen hundred acre or so, big big property. There was kennels,
- 52:45there was there was at there was a main house, kennel's little farmhouse
- 52:49like little everything out there. Arry continued to party and drink and he displayed
- 52:53all of this on social media, despite being told by the judge, Yeah,
- 52:59not to do all this stuff. You shouldn't be partying, you shouldn't
- 53:01do anything. It was as if he just didn't care about what had happened
- 53:05at all. He was still surrounded by friends and family out at the property
- 53:08party, because the fact is is that all of these people, despite Paul
- 53:14being a terrible human being, they all liked his money and his power.
- 53:19On top of the partying and the social media and everything, Paul actually received
- 53:22speeding tickets during the time. I mean not even like I mean he's just
- 53:25like, fuck it, I'm a speed too. I don't care. Like
- 53:30no, but well, we don't know, Stewart, they could have been
- 53:32they just didn't check. But you know, like whenever you're doing you feel
- 53:36like you're like maybe like your tail lights out, or you're like my inspection
- 53:40stickers like a year overdue. I'm like I'm like I need Yes, I'm
- 53:45like I need to well, it expired the month we had the bait the
- 53:50baby, and so like things got forgotten and then continue. Yes, So
- 53:57but like when you have something like small like that, you're like, I
- 53:59need to bay the law, Like I I can't speed because I'm gonna get
- 54:01in trouble for this inspection sticker. This guy's going to fucking court for murder
- 54:06for like homicide or manslaughter or whatever. And he's just like, wow,
- 54:12I'm speeding. I don't care because he's yeah, yeah, so he's not
- 54:17lying low at all. Now, the friend group did break up after the
- 54:22crash, like the six friends, you know, one would assume or think
- 54:25that they would. Morgan was finally done with Paul at this point. She
- 54:30decided to part ways with him and everything like that because he was a murder
- 54:35and a ginger. Yes, mainly because he was a ginger though, you
- 54:38think, apologies to our ginger listeners and still apologizing to anybody named Crispin out
- 54:46there. That's not That was a harsh critique of the name Crispin last episode,
- 54:52and most of it was cut out. It edited out that you guys
- 54:55didn't hear too, because it just went on all on and on. So
- 55:01anyway, So then also Anthony, who was best friends with Paul, he
- 55:06did start distance, distancing himself, but not totally because he need a new
- 55:12girlfriend. No, and no, he didn't go out there. He still
- 55:20seems to like he still seems whenever you watch him in these interviews stuff.
- 55:22I don't know if it's because Paul, I mean, spoiler alert, Paul
- 55:27is murdered, but yeah, anyways, I mean, I don't know if
- 55:30it's because of that, but he still kind of defends him, not not
- 55:34in the drinking and the driving of the boat and everything like that and what
- 55:37happened to Mallory. But he still says, oh, Paul wouldn't do this,
- 55:39Paul wouldn't do that, Like the whole thing when when we covered last
- 55:43episode with Gloria, Paul would do anything he wanted it to do and thought
- 55:46he couldn't get away. So Paul, like how we talked about Paul was
- 55:51rumored to have pushed Gloria down the steps, and he's like, Paul would
- 55:53never do anything. I just get so angry when people say that about Paul.
- 55:58It's like foot Paul, this Anthony guy. We don't believe Paul did
- 56:01anthy We think many did it too. But yeah, all ain't no goddamn
- 56:06saint. Yeah, but this Anthony guy, I don't get him. I
- 56:09really don't have a hard time with him. I don't get him at all.
- 56:13He's a difficult, get difficult character in this whole You killed my girlfriend,
- 56:19But I love you man, love what he said. It's just so
- 56:24weird. Anyways, So Paul seemed to show no remorse for what had happened
- 56:30with Mallory, with hurting his friends, like he did anything like that.
- 56:34He's just living his life, doing his thing, going back to the property,
- 56:37going to hang out. I'm a four wheelers purple drank, purple drank.
- 56:44I say that it work, and people look at me. I think
- 56:46that's I think purple drink is like ni quill and alcohol, I thought,
- 56:52Or is it my wrong? I'm not that cool anyways. I've been out
- 56:57of the game for the game, like a hardcore just on like two Melatonin's
- 57:02night, couple last room Jamison, couple shots of Jamison. I'm ready for
- 57:09bed. Yeah. In the months after Paul's indictment, the Murdoch family went
- 57:15through a bit of a hard time. Paul had his legal issues that were
- 57:21ongoing. And on top of that, Oh Randolf the hundredth or whatever the
- 57:25hell he is, Buster the brother, he got kicked out of law school
- 57:30for cheating. I think it was plagiarism. Now the mounting pressure began to
- 57:36show Crown. Yes, so the golden child is out, the only last
- 57:42hope, the last William has cheated on Kate left the family for a stripper.
- 57:50It's all has all hope has been lost. Now the two boys,
- 57:54they're bringing shame on the family. Actually, I don't think it started with
- 58:00them. No, they're just the most prominent open Yeah, they're the ones
- 58:06that were around when Snapchat was available to act a fool. Now, the
- 58:09mounting pressure began to show cracks and Alec and Maggie's marriage. You just called
- 58:15him Alex Stewart. I can't even be with you anymore. This is worse
- 58:17than the bathroom debuccle, is it? Yes, Alex, we call him
- 58:22Alex. Maggie found out that Alex was behind on some of the bills,
- 58:27which should not have been based on how much money the Murdochs had. Yeah,
- 58:31they were rich, bitch. Rumor around town had it that she had
- 58:37hired a forensic accountant to see where all the money was going. She was
- 58:42also a rumor to have seen a divorce attorney looking into what her options were,
- 58:46Like, I want to jump off the sinking ship. What are my
- 58:51options? All boy and paying bills? Looks like the forensic accountants, two
- 58:54boys or shit heads are going to get out of here. Although it was
- 58:58partially her fault because apparently she just let them do whatever they wanted. So
- 59:00yeah forr parenting choices, and I'm almost one hundred percent sure she was the
- 59:06one that pushed old Sadderfield down, yea, Gloria. Yeah, so all
- 59:13terrible Stewarts, they're all like they're all garbage. People now pile onto that
- 59:17supposedly Alex's oxycode on pill addiction that the family had been dealing with for years.
- 59:24I mean, it's nothing like Matthew Perry's though, so I mean,
- 59:29or evidently Brittney Simpsons, Britney Simpsons, Jessica Jessica Spears. No, Jessica
- 59:37Simpson, she did not have a pill problem. She had alcohol problems.
- 59:43Well, you tell me you listen to that read, I mean, read
- 59:45that bug path you know what? Fuck you Stewart. I do read,
- 59:50But yes, I do listen to a lot of audio books because I drive
- 59:52a lot. And then when I'm out and about cleaning the house because I
- 59:57clean, unlike some people in this house else I clean, and I listen
- 1:00:00to audio books. And I really want to listen to the Matthew Perry one
- 1:00:05because I'm such a I was such a friends fan and everything so and it
- 1:00:10was just like he was just very interesting. I mean, I'll be honest
- 1:00:14with you. The book Matthew Perry is insufferable. He thinks he's God's gift
- 1:00:19to like everything. I mean, let's push aside the addiction and everything like
- 1:00:22that, just him talking. He just thought he was the best looking guy,
- 1:00:27could get any woman, YadA YadA, YadA and everything that. But
- 1:00:31was not his faulty else's fault. Yes, the whole book he blames everybody.
- 1:00:37Could he be more annoying? And it was my and I found what
- 1:00:40interesting was how he was what his level of addiction was during the seasons of
- 1:00:46Friends, because you could tell that he gained and lost weight through the seasons,
- 1:00:52but you didn't know. I mean, I didn't know why. I
- 1:00:53mean I was young, I didn't know why he was doing it. But
- 1:00:55now looking back, he's He explains where he was at in his addiction based
- 1:01:00on the episode the Seasons of Friends. So anyways, I would if you're
- 1:01:06a Friends fan, I would. It's a good book. It's not going
- 1:01:08to make you like Matthew Perry or anything. But yeah, yeah, he's
- 1:01:15got a little bit like full of himself. But my takeaway from the book
- 1:01:21anyways, anyways, so Alex didn't have I don't think he was Matthew Perry
- 1:01:27level pill popping well accordin to what you might thank all the money that disappeared,
- 1:01:31he would be like way above him. He'd be doing like five thousand.
- 1:01:36Yeah, someone one, some reporter like added up how much. Well,
- 1:01:38we'll talk about this in the next episode. But the amount of money
- 1:01:43that he was distilling from people could have bought enough oxycodon for like one hundred
- 1:01:49and forty years for one person, but we don't know. Anyways, the
- 1:01:54stresses were mounting in this Murdoch family. So Paul is scheduled for his first
- 1:01:59hearing on the death of Mallory on June twenty twenty one, and it appears
- 1:02:04there might finally be some justice in this case. But just three days before,
- 1:02:08something that would shock America would happen. Yes, nine one one call
- 1:02:14comes in from Alex Murdoch. Paul and Maggie had been shot dead at the
- 1:02:19Moselle property. Now these deaths would start into motion the unraveling of the Murdoch
- 1:02:27family. Well, dun dun dune, that's what they say. But I
- 1:02:31think it was the boat accident they actually started it. Well, the boat
- 1:02:35accident was that, but this is like puts them on another level. That's
- 1:02:38because the boat accident, Okay, story. Whatever. Okay, if we're
- 1:02:44gonna play this game, we're going back to Stephen Smith. You don't play
- 1:02:49this game all the way back to the beginning now, because I was buried,
- 1:02:52covered dead, all but all the way back to being beginning when Randolph
- 1:02:55Murdoch sat on those uh train tracks and got himself killed. Nope, Okay,
- 1:03:01I would have been coming anyways. That was the boat wreck that started
- 1:03:05cause an issue. Yes, I know that, Stewart. I understand that.
- 1:03:07I'm just saying. You're just saying the wrong thing. Okay, Well,
- 1:03:12you didn't write the case, so you don't get in a pear.
- 1:03:13I know. I saw the show. You watched the one episode that I
- 1:03:17watched, the part of the episode that I had to watch, so I
- 1:03:22could be anyways, Well, Stewart, do you have a y'all need Jesus?
- 1:03:24Yeah? I got a goddamn y'all need. Oh my god, gosh,
- 1:03:27darn y'all need Jesus. All right, Tonight's y'all need Jesus revolves around
- 1:03:34one George Glenn Jones Okay born September twelveth nineteen thirty one died April twenty six,
- 1:03:40twenty thirteen. Okay, he's a he was a young, up and
- 1:03:46coming country star back in the day. Okay, you don't even know who
- 1:03:51I'm talking about it he stopped loving her. Okay, I just want this
- 1:03:55to be over. So let's go on. Now. One of the reasons
- 1:03:59why my George Jones did he stop loving her because of a bathroom remodel.
- 1:04:03He may have was so revered by the country music community. We're doing a
- 1:04:10throwback evert evidently obviously, okay, just come on back to the way back
- 1:04:15wind machine, all right, because George he sang how he lived, and
- 1:04:20he lived what he's sang. Unlike Keith Urban or whatever country star you're gonna
- 1:04:26do these days. Now, George Jones was they're not because he's a pass
- 1:04:34He was a flash in the pan, like I said, when you thought
- 1:04:36he was ut. No, he's still. He's passed married Nicole Kidman.
- 1:04:41So we did something right. It's Alway's got money. He just sings.
- 1:04:45Well, I mean, Nicole Kidman has probably more money than he does.
- 1:04:46Yeah, so he sings as a hobby. Okay, come on. So
- 1:04:49anyway, George Jones troubled soul with deep heart ache that you could hear through
- 1:04:57his singing and songs on numerous occasions. His abuse issues had him standing on
- 1:05:02the precipice between life and death. Over the years, he became known as
- 1:05:10no Show Jones, missing fifty four shows in nineteen seventy nine alone. As
- 1:05:15you can imagine, guys, these yonnie Jesus are not approved by me many
- 1:05:19time. This is the one thing I let ste have Carr Blanche on and
- 1:05:24as you can see, that was a mistake. Isn't Yes, No,
- 1:05:30Because there's a lot of people know the story, and there's a lot of
- 1:05:33people don't know the story. But thanks to some loving friends in the country
- 1:05:38music community, specific Whale and Jennings Rest in peace, Jones was finally able
- 1:05:43to overcome his demons and lead along and fulfill in life. However, the
- 1:05:48most notorious George Jones drinking story involves the country music legend and a John dear
- 1:05:54lanmar But what a lot of folks don't know is that George Jones chose this
- 1:06:00low moving mode of transportation to procure alcohol more than once. Maybe Poule should
- 1:06:04have done that. No, this is slow move, not fast. Now
- 1:06:09I'm saying Poule should have friends have been the John Dara lawnmar Now. The
- 1:06:15first and most well documented lawnmar incidents was the late sixties. George Sjones was
- 1:06:21living eight miles outside of Beaumont, Texas. Beaumont to his then wife I'm
- 1:06:28sure common name at the time, Shirley and Corley Jones, who was born
- 1:06:33in Saratoga, Texas, just west and north of Beaumont, had already experienced
- 1:06:39a few number one country hits, Stewart white lightning. She thinks I'll still
- 1:06:46care. Okay, come on, what is the story still? Well?
- 1:06:50Hang on, No, I'm not hanging on anymore. No one's hanging on
- 1:06:55anymore. I'm literally the only person listening because I have to be here,
- 1:06:58all right, George just a sex, sex fuelled his wayward ways. Was
- 1:07:03alcohol right the second time? No, that was just making fun of the
- 1:07:06West set it the first time. Annie was drinking so bad his wife Shirley
- 1:07:11resorted to hiding all the keys to all the vehicles before she would leave so
- 1:07:15George wouldn't dry out of the nearest liquor store in Bowmap. But that didn't
- 1:07:18stop old George. After tearing the house apart looking for a set of keys,
- 1:07:23George looked out the window to see a ride lawnmower sitting on the property,
- 1:07:28and there was a gleaming glue that was a ten horsepower rotrier engine under
- 1:07:32the seat, a key glistening in the ignition. George recalled in his autobiography,
- 1:07:39I imagined the tops feed for that old lawnmower was five miles per hour,
- 1:07:43and it might have taken an hour and a half or more for me
- 1:07:45to get to the liquor store. But I did get there then. Incident
- 1:07:49was later memorialized as part of a country music lore in numerous songs and videos,
- 1:07:56including George's own Honckey Talk song in nineteen ninety six. What is it
- 1:08:01is? This? Is this? This doesn't feel like a y'all need Jesus.
- 1:08:03This feels like an homage to George Jones. It kind of is an
- 1:08:09homage. Why are we doing this? Stuart? What is happening? Why
- 1:08:14are we doing this? What is this? Okay? Are we done?
- 1:08:17Now? He needs Jesus? We get it. Okay, you're thinking right
- 1:08:23now. I don't like that you're reading. You're trying to quickly read.
- 1:08:28All right, So that's our y'all need Jesus for the night. And I
- 1:08:32promise I'll try to keep stew better on track. Um, is there anything
- 1:08:35else you'd like to add? Stear before? We got one more episode of
- 1:08:39the Murdoch Murders coming next week? Yeah, hate us? Now what is
- 1:08:45it, Stewart? You don't even know. I'm sure he did. All
- 1:08:55right, So that's our episode first night, and I guess we will.
- 1:08:58Well, you don't want to hear about the one time he did it with
- 1:09:00Tammy Wynett and Hank Williams journal on my road. Your friends are coming over.
- 1:09:03Fine, I'll just post a story like I said, I was going
- 1:09:05to post all the other ship, but you won't so anyways, Well,
- 1:09:10all right, so we'll see you next time. Bye, everyone, Say
- 1:09:13bye Stu by Steck. Don't you know it's bye to be supersticious by having
- 1:09:25else? It's working. It's pretty hurting sick working. I can
