- 0:03SPEAKER_02: Welcome to Reclaiming Consciousness.
- 0:05SPEAKER_02: My name is Elise Bassine, spiritual mentor, breathwork practitioner, and owner and CEO of Elise Breeds.
- 0:12SPEAKER_02: For many years, our consciousness has been hijacked by societal and cultural programming, religion, the media, and familial and ancestral trauma.
- 0:21SPEAKER_02: Right now, during this epic time in history, people are waking up, realizing who they really are, and reclaiming the pieces of their consciousness that they unknowingly gave away.
- 0:33SPEAKER_02: This podcast is an exploration of how so many spectacular humans are leading the way in exiting the matrix and reclaiming who they really are and what they're capable of.
- 0:44SPEAKER_02: In this show, you'll meet exceptional people who are paving the way in raising consciousness and creating a new way of living on this earth.
- 0:52SPEAKER_02: Get ready to go deep.
- 0:54SPEAKER_02: Now let's dive in.
- 1:00SPEAKER_02: Hi everyone.
- 1:01SPEAKER_02: Welcome back to the show.
- 1:03SPEAKER_02: So this week, I love this episode.
- 1:06SPEAKER_02: So this week I am talking to Kelsey and Lindsay, who are the co-hosts of the High Vibe in It podcast.
- 1:15SPEAKER_02: I was actually on their podcast a couple months ago, and their podcast is awesome.
- 1:20SPEAKER_02: If you guys don't know it, you should definitely check it out.
- 1:22SPEAKER_02: Lindsay is a hypnotherapist.
- 1:24SPEAKER_02: Kelsey is an author, and um they're just really amazing women doing their thing and helping people and living outside of the matrix.
- 1:32SPEAKER_02: So you guys are really gonna love our conversation.
- 1:35SPEAKER_02: I felt like it was a party because we just had a lot of fun.
- 1:38SPEAKER_02: Um so I think you guys are really gonna enjoy it and you definitely wanna check them out and give them a follow if you haven't followed them already.
- 1:46SPEAKER_02: And also listen to my episode on their podcast, high vibe in it.
- 1:50SPEAKER_02: It was a really, really good episode.
- 1:52SPEAKER_02: A couple announcements.
- 1:53SPEAKER_02: Let's see.
- 1:54SPEAKER_02: Oh, so right now I am coming to you from Moro Bay, California, which is like halfway between LA and San Francisco.
- 2:04SPEAKER_02: It's beautiful here.
- 2:05SPEAKER_02: The weather is so amazing.
- 2:07SPEAKER_02: It's like 65 degrees.
- 2:09SPEAKER_02: We're right on the ocean.
- 2:11SPEAKER_02: There's this huge rock formation, like right in the middle of the ocean, and there's like fog coming off of it, and it's just like so pretty here.
- 2:19SPEAKER_02: So I'm really enjoying it.
- 2:21SPEAKER_02: We're kind of at the tail end of our two-week trip at this point.
- 2:24SPEAKER_02: We're here for another night and then heading up to San Francisco, and I'm flying back to Philly on Saturday night and to Sunday.
- 2:32SPEAKER_02: So, anyway, just sending you some of these California beach vibes.
- 2:37SPEAKER_02: It's really, really special and beautiful, and this is just such a special part of the world.
- 2:44SPEAKER_02: So, um right now, what is happening is I have five spots that I'm opening for one-to-one work with me, which is huge because I don't always have space available for this because I can only work with so many people privately.
- 3:01SPEAKER_02: But I do have some spaces right now that I'm opening, and this is a high-level one-to-one container where we work together for six months.
- 3:11SPEAKER_02: And a lot of people, a lot of my clients will continue on after the six months.
- 3:15SPEAKER_02: A lot of my private clients have been working with me for over a year because we just continue to create magic and miracles together.
- 3:23SPEAKER_02: Because when you work with me at this level, you create lasting transformation that solidifies into your life and your whole life changes.
- 3:33SPEAKER_02: Your relationships become way deeper and they work for you.
- 3:38SPEAKER_02: Um, if you have a business, it will start making more money.
- 3:42SPEAKER_02: You will start attracting more clients.
- 3:44SPEAKER_02: Like when we clear the blocks that are standing in the way of you entering into your highest timeline, things just start working for you.
- 3:54SPEAKER_02: And, you know, in my work, we utilize my abilities, the Akashic Records, breath work, energy work, and um, just my unique capacity to see core wounding that's blocking you.
- 4:08SPEAKER_02: And then we release it.
- 4:09SPEAKER_02: And when we release it, everything just starts working.
- 4:12SPEAKER_02: So many of my clients have had such profound transformations where, you know, they went from feeling stuck and not sure what to do or where to go, or just feeling like they had plateaued in their business.
- 4:27SPEAKER_02: And now they are at completely new levels where we've created new offerings, new group programs, new ways to work with people.
- 4:35SPEAKER_02: Everyone creates their own unique form of the way that they're able to help people because they're able to tap into their own unique essence, their own unique medicine, their own unique energy that they're able to help people with.
- 4:52SPEAKER_02: So it's really just such a profound thing to work with me in this way.
- 4:57SPEAKER_02: And it's for the person that really understands why it's important to invest in yourself at this level, if you want to have that, the kind of impact that you know you're meant to have.
- 5:08SPEAKER_02: Because for me, the reason why I was able to create what I created in such a short amount of time is because I was dedicated to investing in myself at a very high level.
- 5:18SPEAKER_02: And because I did that, I rose to that level very quickly.
- 5:21SPEAKER_02: And that's what this uh container is all about.
- 5:24SPEAKER_02: So if you'd like more information and a chat about if this is a fit for you or to apply, just go to my website, elisebreeze.com, and go under the work with me tab and click on the quantum creator.
- 5:37SPEAKER_02: That is my six month high-level one-to-one container.
- 5:40SPEAKER_02: Or you can email me info at elisebreeze.com to chat about if this is a fit for you.
- 5:46SPEAKER_02: So that is what I have going on right now.
- 5:49SPEAKER_02: Definitely more to come.
- 5:51SPEAKER_02: We have the retreat next week, which has actually expanded because we had so many people asking to join.
- 5:57SPEAKER_02: We got a bigger meeting room and we allowed more spaces to fill up at the retreat.
- 6:02SPEAKER_02: So that's super exciting.
- 6:04SPEAKER_02: So I will definitely be doing more retreats.
- 6:07SPEAKER_02: We have Costa Rica booked for April, and I'm gonna open up enrollment for that in September.
- 6:11SPEAKER_02: So sending you guys so much love, and I will talk to you soon.
- 6:19SPEAKER_02: Hi guys, welcome back to the show.
- 6:21SPEAKER_02: So today I am super excited because we have a little party going on here.
- 6:28SPEAKER_02: So today I'm talking to the high vibe in it girls, Lindsay and Kelsey, and I'm so excited to have them here.
- 6:36SPEAKER_02: So I've connected with them on multiple levels now.
- 6:38SPEAKER_02: So I'm just gonna kind of say what I know about them.
- 6:41SPEAKER_02: Kelsey is she leads retreats, she's a coach, she's an author, which is like a really amazing thing.
- 6:48SPEAKER_02: And Lindsay is a hypnotherapist and helps people completely like rewire their brains.
- 6:54SPEAKER_02: And they have this really awesome podcast.
- 6:56SPEAKER_02: If you guys don't know about it, you need to.
- 6:58SPEAKER_02: It's called High Vibe in It.
- 6:59SPEAKER_02: I was on it.
- 7:00SPEAKER_02: It's an amazing podcast.
- 7:02SPEAKER_02: So welcome to the show, ladies.
- 7:03SPEAKER_02: Thanks.
- 7:04SPEAKER_02: We're so excited to be here.
- 7:05SPEAKER_02: Yay! So what for you?
- 7:08SPEAKER_02: Let's start here.
- 7:10SPEAKER_02: What for you was that pivotal moment where you kind of felt like your life was gonna change or you were gonna go down that spiritual path?
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: Should I go first?
- 7:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: So I think the best way for me to answer this is to say that I never knew like this is the moment my life changed.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: And you never know, I didn't until I was on the other side of the scary thing or the gut-wrenching situation that I could be like, oh yeah, that I can look back and say, yes, that is a pivotal crossroad in my life where I could have gone one way or the other.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: And luckily I chose what I chose.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I think that I didn't know at the time.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: But one of those things that I can look back and say, yep, that was it, is when I moved to California by myself, when I became a mom for sure.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: It's like, you know, your life's gonna change, but you cannot fathom the amount of absolute alteration that occurs when you create a human being or when you completely transplant yourself from one place to another without any friends or family there with you.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: And you kind of have to figure it out.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: I know Kelsey knows what that feels like for sure.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: You know, those big, big life decisions.
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: And then, you know, the one I talk about the most, I think, would be when I made the decision to explore the option of hypnotherapy.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: I don't know what to say, like when I made the decision to be a hypnotherapist because it didn't, it was not that clean, y'all.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: It was messy for sure.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: It was like, do I want, can I do this?
- 8:33SPEAKER_00: Do I want to do this?
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: What if I change my mind?
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: How do I do this?
- 8:36SPEAKER_00: What's going on?
- 8:36SPEAKER_00: And like all of these unanswered questions.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: And I challenge those questions, which that I think for me is the moment when you can challenge that default barrier that kind of tries to close in on you and is like, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, don't step outside.
- 8:51SPEAKER_00: You gotta stay here, stay here in the box, stay here where it's safe.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: And when you challenge that, again, didn't know what was happening at the time.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: I know now that that was my intuition being like, mm-r or my soul, whatever, like this is kind of what you're supposed to be doing.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: So let's not waste a lot of time on this area.
- 9:07SPEAKER_00: Let's not, let's not waste the time on like asking these silly questions of what if you can't do it?
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: What is that even?
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: So that challenge and that and me kind of knowing what that feels like to challenge that voice has become so important to me because now that I have that gauge and now that I know what that feels like, I can recognize it when it happens.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: And there's nothing like that in the world.
- 9:30SPEAKER_00: And I cannot remember what life was like before I knew what that feeling was.
- 9:33SPEAKER_00: When you know, yeah, this is scary, yeah, this is something that I've never done before, and I don't know how it's gonna turn out, but I know it's the right thing to do makes no sense to anyone else.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: It's scary as hell.
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: But no, that that feeling of knowing what that challenge feels like and knowing that it will work out because it has worked out, because it will always work out, because it has always worked out, you know, that kind of thing.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: So I don't know if I've answered the question.
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: I didn't know it was happening at the time, but the feeling of that challenge and knowing that your soul is speaking to you, that I think no matter what the situation is, that is the beginning of a huge change, a huge life change, because your soul will never ever lead you somewhere that isn't beautiful and expansive.
- 10:15SPEAKER_02: Totally.
- 10:15SPEAKER_02: I love that so much.
- 10:17SPEAKER_02: It's like when you step outside of just the program.
- 10:20SPEAKER_02: The program, yes.
- 10:22SPEAKER_02: That's what it is.
- 10:23SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 10:24SPEAKER_02: Kelsey, what about you?
- 10:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, for me, it was like two dark nights of the soul that initiated me into becoming this inspirational author and teacher of raising your vibration.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: And ultimately, just in my personality and DNA is just wanting to help everyone live their best life.
- 10:46SPEAKER_01: And I didn't always know how to channel that until I started teaching and writing.
- 10:52SPEAKER_01: And before that, I went to school to become a cosmetologist because that was just a way I could fulfill my need of needing to give in like a creative, hands-on way, and also like therapists or hair pists, I should say, basically.
- 11:06SPEAKER_01: Like, if you're a cosmetologist, you're basically a therapist who does hair.
- 11:10SPEAKER_01: So that was like the unconscious way that I started doing this work.
- 11:14SPEAKER_01: And then my first dark night of the soul was like in my late teens, early 20s, and really my life just was not going how I had envisioned.
- 11:22SPEAKER_01: Like, I was planning to be a professional ballerina my whole life, training for that.
- 11:27SPEAKER_01: And when I came to the time to basically like step it up, go pro, do this thing for real, I already was so injured, my body was like, there's no way, like, this is not happening.
- 11:38SPEAKER_01: And that, along with a cocktail of other things that can f up your emotions, basically sent me into a spiral of depression that I kind of got stuck in for a couple of years.
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: And when I was able to start climbing out the tools that I was using, the perspectives that I was shifting and the modalities that were healing for me, I thought that everybody needed these life tools.
- 11:59SPEAKER_01: I was like, if everybody knew how to do this for themselves, the world would be a better place, people would enjoy their lives more, people wouldn't want to kill themselves, people could manifest whatever they want.
- 12:08SPEAKER_01: And this is just, you know, my Miss America speech of like world peace.
- 12:11SPEAKER_01: That was like the mood that I was in.
- 12:13SPEAKER_01: And I was like, I'm gonna be the next Deepak Chopra.
- 12:16SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna write all these books, I'm gonna teach the people what's up, what works.
- 12:19SPEAKER_01: And that's kind of how I got started.
- 12:21SPEAKER_01: And then years later, you know, more initiations, kundalini awakenings, gifts being revealed, and here we are, just helping the people heal, upgrade, learn, deepen their connection to themselves, and ultimately, like I'm all about quality of life.
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: So I explore what makes life better, and then I help people to explore that for themselves too.
- 12:43SPEAKER_01: Kelsey, I got a question.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: Did you know in these dark I know I'm interviewing you now?
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: Sorry, we can't get out of the habit.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: Sorry, my dear.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: Did you know in these dark nights of the soul that that's what was happening?
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: Because when you talk about this, I immediately think in my head, like, whenever I hear you tell this story, I'm like, well shit, I didn't have those.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: But I think the difference is mine all happened before I was 10.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: Whatever kind of situation, initiation, preparation, right?
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: When I was so young that I could not have known what was happening.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: I could not have known and been like, oh, there it is, I'm initiated.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: Like it's just impossible.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: You're a freaking child.
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: So I know that those things must have happened, and I know they did, you know, just subjectively looking back.
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: So I was just wondering, like, as an adult, because I don't have that benefit of that perspective.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: As an adult, did you know, like, oh yeah, this is not the first time.
- 13:35SPEAKER_01: So the first dark night of the soul, my narrative in my mind was why is this happening to me?
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: God obviously hates me.
- 13:44SPEAKER_01: Why am I being punished?
- 13:45SPEAKER_01: Why am I being ripped away from the one thing that brings me the most joy?
- 13:49SPEAKER_01: Why can't I do what I want?
- 13:51SPEAKER_01: Lots of confusion.
- 13:52SPEAKER_01: And then the second dark night of the soul, when I was having this kundaline awakening and I just moved to Ohio and I was like meditating in the park every day by myself.
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: I like didn't know anyone.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: I just like changed my whole life because you know, why not?
- 14:05SPEAKER_01: Just initiate yourself into chaos.
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: And that time I did know what I was doing and that it was happening and that it was all for like a higher purpose.
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: But the first time, no way.
- 14:16SPEAKER_01: I was like so in it that I was just like, there's no way this can be for a good reason.
- 14:20SPEAKER_01: Like, what the F, God.
- 14:22SPEAKER_01: I was mad.
- 14:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 14:23unknown: What the F, God?
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: I hear you.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: That should be the quote from the show.
- 14:28SPEAKER_02: Well, you know, I feel that way too because I feel like my kind of, I guess what I might consider my first Dark Knight of the Soul, which was when I was 19 and I was struggling a lot with eating disorder.
- 14:39SPEAKER_02: I didn't know that then, you know.
- 14:41SPEAKER_02: I was just like trying to figure out what the fuck was going on.
- 14:44SPEAKER_02: Like, why am I so miserable?
- 14:46SPEAKER_02: And why is this happening to me?
- 14:49SPEAKER_02: You know, and then it kind of like led me down the path of a spiritual awakening, but I definitely didn't know it at the time for sure.
- 14:57SPEAKER_02: And and I don't think a lot of people do, especially at the beginning.
- 15:02SPEAKER_02: I definitely went through another Dark Knight of the Soul when I went into my business full time, even though it grew really fast and I did have a lot of it success pretty quickly.
- 15:11SPEAKER_02: I would say the first three or four months, all of my shit came up and I was a fucking disaster.
- 15:18SPEAKER_02: Like I was so afraid and so basically like suicidal for like three months.
- 15:26SPEAKER_02: But I had to go through that because I feel like that was also how I learned how to teach people how to do what I teach people how to do right now.
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: You know, like I learned how to move through that stuff.
- 15:38SPEAKER_02: So I kind of knew it then, but I don't feel like you know it right away, but it's always those things that push you into those huge awakenings.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: So go ahead, Lindsay, what were you gonna say?
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: Well, I was just gonna say, and I think it's important too that not only is there no expectation to know what's happening, but there's also no expectation on how it's gonna look for you.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: Because everybody experiences it differently.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: And I think part of my, okay, look, I know that everybody has their own path.
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: I know that everybody goes through what they go through for a reason, but there is some level of like, maybe it's just maybe I'm projecting, but in the interwebs, especially in the self-help and and spiritual space, it feels like there's this expectation that you can't be an expert or a teacher unless you have like, you know, had this awakening.
- 16:25SPEAKER_00: And I don't necessarily agree with that, only in the sense of like, with the expectation that you have to have gone through this, is also the expectation of like, well, this is what it looked like for me.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: So if you're not going through that, you know what I mean?
- 16:36SPEAKER_00: And again, I'm probably projecting and just putting my own feelings into it, but I think it looks different for everyone.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: And I think that for me, I have felt everything that you guys are describing, and I still do.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: But for me, it is so different, and it feels I'm very good at distracting myself.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: And I think maybe it's a little of that going on.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: Like I have three kids, I can't be a puddle on the floor.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: I mean, I could, but then I'd be my mother.
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: Anyway, I think we just did something different.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: I mean, and and that could be it too.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: Maybe, maybe there's a resistance because I know what that looks like and how toxic it can look to a child or in that sense, too.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: However, so for me, it looks like I have given myself permission when I feel like this, you know, I'm gonna give myself this container of time to just be a mess.
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: And my husband has got, he's holding down the fort.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: Thank God for support systems.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: Can we just get an amen for support systems?
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: And I wish everybody had that, and I hope they do.
- 17:33SPEAKER_00: To go be a puddle for a container of time, come back.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: Because I know, I think just the knowledge that you know it's gonna pass is so empowering.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: And the pitfall with any kind of you know, negative emotion or or bad day is the feeling of like what Kelsey said, why does God hate me?
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: When is this gonna be over?
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: What the hell is going on?
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: You know, it is so debilitating in its purest form, at its worst.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: It is so debilitating and so hopeless and so helpless that to know that, okay, well, this sucks.
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: This is horrible, I hate this, but maybe it's not gonna last forever is such a different feeling.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: And maybe going into it with that feeling, you know, can affect how you experience it in a sense, too.
- 18:15SPEAKER_02: Just to add to that, though, it's not only are you gonna get out of it, but you're gonna be a better version of yourself on the other side.
- 18:23SPEAKER_02: And that's what always motivated me.
- 18:25SPEAKER_02: Because once I started to see that every time I went into the darkness, I emerged as an up-leveled version of myself.
- 18:34SPEAKER_02: Then I was like, oh shit, all right, I got this.
- 18:36SPEAKER_02: And I just would like to keep going in and in and in because I knew what was on the other side of it, you know.
- 18:42SPEAKER_02: And I feel like once you have that awareness, it's like everything becomes way easier.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: Do you guys remember 2020?
- 18:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah, sadly.
- 18:50SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm still I'm still processing the trauma from 2020.
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: How much shit happened in 2020?
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: Okay, so in 2020, the beginning of 2020, before any of this really like we found out about the C-word, like pretty early on in 2020, because it happened at the end of 99.
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: But right around that time was when Kobe died.
- 19:11SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, I forgot about that.
- 19:13SPEAKER_00: That I think was the open door for me to process.
- 19:17SPEAKER_00: I can't describe it except to say that I must have processed decades of shit in that open door of the I don't even think the pandemic had hit yet.
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: I don't think it did, because he died January 26th.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: And that was like bam, first thing at the gate, Kobe's exit.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: And I lost my mind a little bit.
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: And I love Kobe, you know, I was a fan, and but it wasn't that.
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: It was like, what is life?
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: Why are we here?
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: What is going on?
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: What is the world gonna look like with this energy shift?
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: It was such a huge energy shift, and that is what I think I felt was the energy kind of beginning to move.
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: I remember like I was so depressed.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: And to say that it was just because of Kobe is ridiculous because you know what I mean.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: Like, but everybody has their catalyst, and for me, that was a catalyst for me to just okay, everything's coming in now.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: So I remember I removed myself from the room, I took a shower, I just collapsed and just balled my eyes out in the shower for probably an hour or more.
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: But I knew it was one of the few times in my life, and by the way, everybody listening to this is now my best friend because I'm sharing, I'm like oversharing right now.
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: So we're super close now.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: But I I remember as it was happening, energy is moving out of my body.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: I know this is what's happening.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: Energy is moving out of my body.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: So I'm just gonna move with it.
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: I'm just gonna allow it to be what it is.
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: And I never really given myself that kind of space before.
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: And again, it's another moment in my life where I was like, now, okay, yep, check.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: Now I know what that feels like.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: Now I can, you know, add it to my toolbox.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: But I never really had given myself that space.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: So when I did and I came out, I was a completely different person from the person that went into the shower to the person that came out.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: I felt the shift.
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: And that was the beginning of, you know, 2020 was a big year for a lot of people.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: And I have to believe that it was a different version of the same thing that I went through.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: It, you know, everybody experiences it differently, but there was an immense shift on the planet, cosmically, universally.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: That is what happened.
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: And everybody's gonna feel it different.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: And I had one of the best business years of my life.
- 21:23SPEAKER_00: Is it because I healed some stuff?
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: Probably.
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: Is it because everyone else needed to heal?
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: Probably.
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: You know, it's like the combination of all of these things happening.
- 21:31SPEAKER_02: I'm glad you're bringing this up.
- 21:32SPEAKER_02: I just want to say, because I have been feeling, and Kelsey, I would love to get your perspective on this, but I have been feeling like basically since the end of March, beginning of April.
- 21:43SPEAKER_02: And that was kind of like when around here, at least, like everything started to really open up.
- 21:48SPEAKER_02: And like I live in one of the most like restricted areas, like it might as well be like New York City.
- 21:54SPEAKER_02: That's how it is here.
- 21:55SPEAKER_02: Congested too, yeah.
- 21:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and everything kind of started to open up again, you know.
- 21:59SPEAKER_02: They took away.
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: Way like the mandates and all that.
- 22:02SPEAKER_02: And I felt like this thing, like lift, where then I felt like all of a sudden there was this space where I was like now really processing what actually just happened over the last two years.
- 22:15SPEAKER_02: And it was a lot.
- 22:16SPEAKER_02: And I was like, holy shit.
- 22:17SPEAKER_02: Like, and I remember walking it down the street and like everyone just like out, whatever.
- 22:21SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, yeah, it looks like everything is like normal, but the damage has been done.
- 22:28SPEAKER_02: Like the damage to the collective psyche has been done.
- 22:32SPEAKER_02: And you're right, we all experience it differently.
- 22:35SPEAKER_02: But it was a huge energy shift that I feel like I'm now just like processing.
- 22:42SPEAKER_02: And yeah, Kelsey, I'm curious your perspective on it.
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: So I think I'm in a little bit different space about it.
- 22:50SPEAKER_01: Only because, well, I don't actually know why.
- 22:53SPEAKER_01: But I guess for me, 2020, despite how scary it was.
- 22:58SPEAKER_01: For me personally, it was scary because I lived in a downtown of a big city.
- 23:01SPEAKER_01: So when the lockdowns were happening and the National Guard was coming and everyone was rioting, it was less COVID-related, but more so just like all of that.
- 23:08SPEAKER_01: I felt like I was living in a movie.
- 23:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:10SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 23:10SPEAKER_01: The whole George Floyd.
- 23:12SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
- 23:12SPEAKER_01: All the rioting to me was like a little bit more scary than the COVID situation, but just because I was like in a downtown area and it felt like a physically unsafe.
- 23:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:22SPEAKER_01: But honestly, for me personally, 2020 was like one of the best years of my life.
- 23:28SPEAKER_01: Me too.
- 23:30SPEAKER_01: So it literally was.
- 23:32SPEAKER_01: I feel almost like a disconnect from everyone who's been suffering.
- 23:36SPEAKER_01: And I like I have empathy for it, but I don't feel that I've been suffering through this process like at all.
- 23:43SPEAKER_02: I agree with that.
- 23:44SPEAKER_02: I actually had a great year.
- 23:45SPEAKER_02: That was the year I started my business.
- 23:46SPEAKER_02: And I had so many shifts and so many changes, and it was great.
- 23:50SPEAKER_02: For me, I think it's 2021 was actually the hardest year for me.
- 23:55SPEAKER_02: And the reason why is because my audience has heard me share about this, but I basically almost got divorced from my husband.
- 24:03SPEAKER_02: My husband's whole family basically wanted to disown me over the vaccine.
- 24:09SPEAKER_02: And it was the hardest thing I've ever had to go through, honestly.
- 24:13SPEAKER_02: And that I feel like for me was the biggest was the hardest thing I've ever gone through in my life, to be honest with you.
- 24:20SPEAKER_02: And now, like looking back on it and like actually processing what I just went through and the person that I had to become in order to get through that is like, holy shit, like that was a lot.
- 24:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 24:37SPEAKER_02: But I agree with you.
- 24:38SPEAKER_02: 2020, I feel like was actually great because I birthed an entirely new version of myself.
- 24:43SPEAKER_02: I went from being a school counselor that literally made like$3,000 a month to a business owner and like literally like tenfold in my income.
- 24:52SPEAKER_02: Like it was a good year.
- 24:55SPEAKER_02: That in that sense.
- 24:57SPEAKER_00: And I'm so glad I got what I needed to get out of the way in January.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: So that the rest of the year was like, all right, 2020, what else you got?
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: Like, what do you got for me here?
- 25:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, 100% agree.
- 25:07SPEAKER_00: And to the point where, like, I think Kelsey and I have had many conversations like this.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: We're like, this should be going worse, right?
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: Like, we were having like a good year, but of course, holding space for those who are suffering.
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: And it's so easy to fall into that fear of like, you know, I remember my husband came home one day and he's like, so I've been in contact with somebody who has tested positive.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: And I like freaked out.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: I was like, okay, you need to go get yourself tested.
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: Do not come near me.
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: Do not kiss me.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: Don't touch your children.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: Like, I was like to the nth degree because the thought of my kids getting what I saw on the news, I can't.
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: I cannot even process it.
- 25:43SPEAKER_00: And you know, now I'm as I'm sitting here, two of my kids have COVID right now.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: And it's just it's so interesting to see the evolution of kind of where things have gone.
- 25:53SPEAKER_00: And they're fine.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: They're your favorite, they're laying down, they're watching cartoons, they're fine.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's so easy to fall into that fear.
- 25:59SPEAKER_00: And it's such an important conversation about like, sure, know what's happening.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: Do not lose your critical thinking.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: Please, please don't lose it because it's the only thing we really have.
- 26:08SPEAKER_02: And that's what a lot, that's what happened to a lot of people.
- 26:11SPEAKER_02: I mean, people that I it is totally thought were very intelligent human beings, just like completely off the rails into fear.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: We are not about that life.
- 26:21SPEAKER_02: I mean, I was for a hot second.
- 26:23SPEAKER_02: I think everyone was for a hot second because like we didn't know all of a sudden, like you don't know.
- 26:28SPEAKER_02: It was just like, oh, like this is happening.
- 26:31SPEAKER_02: I feel like for me, it took me a good two, three months to like be like, and then I was like, Oh, I see what's going on here.
- 26:38SPEAKER_02: So it definitely like we all had to go through that process of like getting our bearings.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: And that is life, isn't it?
- 26:45SPEAKER_00: Like that is life, whether it's a pandemic or whether it's a new job or whether it's a freaking the dissolution of a marriage or a relationship.
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: You need a minute.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: And the more you give yourself a minute to get your bearings and to understand, maybe welcome in or allow a new perspective or s or a different higher perspective, there you don't have to suffer.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: People don't have to suffer as much as they do.
- 27:06SPEAKER_02: And also, I feel like so many people really woke up in 2020 and 2021.
- 27:12SPEAKER_02: True.
- 27:13SPEAKER_02: In various ways, right?
- 27:14SPEAKER_02: I feel like there's that has a lot of connotations, but they're like pick one.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: So many of them in 2020.
- 27:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:22SPEAKER_01: I've been interviewing a lot of people who sit in my hair chair throughout this whole process because I was only not working in the salon for like two months.
- 27:34SPEAKER_01: So this whole pandemic, I've been out in the public doing stuff, which I'm thankful for because I'm extroverted.
- 27:39SPEAKER_01: So to be home would have really been like the end of me to just like be locked up for three years.
- 27:45SPEAKER_01: But in that, I really realized that all the people that I were talking to at least found some sort of personal clarity or silver lining of their preference.
- 27:56SPEAKER_01: Like, oh, this time away from work helped me realize that this is what I really want to do.
- 28:00SPEAKER_01: Or this time away from my family helped me realize how important connection is to me.
- 28:05SPEAKER_01: Or this time with myself helped me dive deep and heal some stuff.
- 28:08SPEAKER_01: And I thought it was really beautiful to watch like the silver lining for everyone.
- 28:12SPEAKER_01: It was a little bit different, but huge period of growth and expansion for sure.
- 28:16SPEAKER_01: Do you want to talk about what your silver linings were?
- 28:19SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 28:20SPEAKER_01: Round table.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: Okay, who wants to go first?
- 28:25SPEAKER_00: I'll go.
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, go ahead.
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: What is up with me today?
- 28:27SPEAKER_00: Kelsey, you're always like this.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: I'm like talking.
- 28:31SPEAKER_01: You are funny because you're like, I'm not talkative.
- 28:33SPEAKER_01: I'm really shy.
- 28:34SPEAKER_01: And then you talk a lot always.
- 28:37SPEAKER_00: Okay, but I have to turn it on.
- 28:39SPEAKER_00: Watch, watch.
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: You know me too.
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: Like when I get off this call, I'll be like, this kind of goes into my silver lining, which is kind of I am still giving myself permission to show up like raw, right?
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: And like just be say the stupid thing that comes out of my mouth and be okay with it.
- 28:55SPEAKER_00: But another really big one was in the pandemic, you know, there were days, and even now, there are days where I don't have work to do.
- 29:03SPEAKER_00: I have done such a good job at a well-oiled machine.
- 29:06SPEAKER_00: And if and I've caught up on my emails and I've responded to everybody in the appliance or next week or tomorrow, and one day I don't have anything to do normally.
- 29:14SPEAKER_00: In the past, I would be like, Oh, I'll find something to stress out about.
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: Girl, I will do that.
- 29:20SPEAKER_00: But now it's like, okay, maybe I go outside and read a book.
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: Maybe I enjoy the backyard that I spent the entire 2020 summer like fixing up and making pretty.
- 29:31SPEAKER_00: And maybe I don't have to worry.
- 29:34SPEAKER_00: And I'm going to stop right now and say, you, Elise, have done that.
- 29:40SPEAKER_00: You did that to me.
- 29:41SPEAKER_00: You changed her.
- 29:43SPEAKER_00: Because before we talked, before we did the session, I don't know a moment where that would have been true.
- 29:49SPEAKER_00: But after our conversation, I know a lot of moments where that has been true with no explanation or like why?
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: Nothing changed except I talked to you, you did some stuff, and now I feel great.
- 30:00SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 30:01SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 30:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 30:02SPEAKER_00: And to me, it just translated as like, look, you do not have to worry.
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: And I say this all the time.
- 30:06SPEAKER_00: I'm so good at saying this to people.
- 30:08SPEAKER_00: I'm so good at conveying this message.
- 30:10SPEAKER_00: But to feel it and to give yourself permission to feel it is a completely different thing.
- 30:14SPEAKER_00: And knowing something is true and letting yourself take action with it are two completely different things.
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: And I have been able to still challenge it.
- 30:22SPEAKER_00: We all have bad days.
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: We all have moments where we're not exactly where we want to be.
- 30:26SPEAKER_00: But overall, I would say it's a lot easier for me to not to worry.
- 30:30SPEAKER_00: I would have to work extra hard to do that.
- 30:32SPEAKER_00: And before it was like, nope, default setting.
- 30:35SPEAKER_00: And now it's just like, do I want to worry about that?
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: And I'm given that gift of a moment of choice that I don't think I had before or didn't let myself see before.
- 30:44SPEAKER_00: So thank you.
- 30:45SPEAKER_00: Thank you for that.
- 30:46SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 30:47SPEAKER_00: It did happen a little bit in 2020 because there were days in the pandemic where there was nothing to do, nobody wanted to be anywhere, nobody could go anywhere, nobody could do anything.
- 30:55SPEAKER_00: And so it was a forced way to have leisure time.
- 30:59SPEAKER_00: But now I get to choose it.
- 31:01SPEAKER_00: And I never, I don't think I would have given myself that choice before.
- 31:04SPEAKER_00: So thank you very much.
- 31:05SPEAKER_00: I don't have to worry as much anymore.
- 31:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, at least I have to tell you, Lindsay has been hilarious.
- 31:11SPEAKER_01: So ever since you worked with her, she's like, oh my gosh, should I be nervous that I'm like not getting nervous anymore?
- 31:17SPEAKER_01: Like I'm worried that I'm not having anxiety anymore.
- 31:20SPEAKER_01: I don't feel like myself.
- 31:21SPEAKER_01: This is really weird.
- 31:23SPEAKER_01: Like I like it, but I don't trust it.
- 31:24SPEAKER_00: Like, why is this happening?
- 31:27SPEAKER_00: That is absolutely true.
- 31:28SPEAKER_00: And I know there are people listening that can relate to this idea, which is why, like, I really want to reiterate this.
- 31:34SPEAKER_00: When the default is so ingrained in you to survive, to worry, to plan A, B, C, D, and E all the way down, when you don't have to do that, when it's hard for you to try to do that, it's like, holy crap, there is a glitch in the matrix.
- 31:49SPEAKER_00: What is going on?
- 31:51SPEAKER_00: And it feels very wrong in a good way, but not in a good way, because it's still unnerving.
- 31:56SPEAKER_00: Whether it's a good change or a bad change, it's still very unnerving, which feels dangerous, I guess.
- 32:02SPEAKER_00: It feels unsure.
- 32:03SPEAKER_02: Totally.
- 32:04SPEAKER_02: Well, yeah, because that's like your survival mode.
- 32:07SPEAKER_02: You feel like you have to do that in order to survive.
- 32:10SPEAKER_02: So, like, once you kind of realize you're not doing it, it's like, oh my God, am I gonna be okay?
- 32:15SPEAKER_02: Am I gonna survive?
- 32:16SPEAKER_00: Oh god, yeah.
- 32:17SPEAKER_00: Should I be worried about not being worried?
- 32:19SPEAKER_00: That's what I've been saying in my head.
- 32:21SPEAKER_00: Like, is it concerning that I'm not worried about this?
- 32:23SPEAKER_00: And you know, there's something you just default to like, I've been preaching for years, and I truly do believe that once you trust the universe, you're gonna be fine.
- 32:32SPEAKER_00: But have I done that all the time?
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: Hell no.
- 32:35SPEAKER_00: Have I not done that all the time?
- 32:37SPEAKER_02: It's hard to do that all the time, you know, because we literally are bombarded with programming as to why we shouldn't and why we should be afraid and why some random scary thing is gonna happen to you at any moment.
- 32:52SPEAKER_02: So you better worry about it.
- 32:54SPEAKER_02: That's like that's literally what society tells us.
- 32:58SPEAKER_02: So, of course, it's not gonna be easy to trust implicitly all the time, you know.
- 33:04SPEAKER_02: But if you can turn that into something you do most of the time, or it's kind of like an underlying default, I think that's kind of the goal.
- 33:13SPEAKER_00: There was a time in my life where I never thought I would be here.
- 33:17SPEAKER_00: And here is I could worry about that, I could be concerned about that, but I'd have to work harder to do that, and I don't really feel like it.
- 33:23SPEAKER_00: I'd rather just like be in the moment.
- 33:25SPEAKER_00: Like I'm too lazy to worry.
- 33:27SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 33:28SPEAKER_00: Like it's too much work, and I never thought I would be in that place.
- 33:32SPEAKER_00: So if any of you are wondering if you could ever be in that place, yes, you can.
- 33:35SPEAKER_00: And there are many, many ways to do that.
- 33:37SPEAKER_00: My way was through this lovely lady here who has did some crazy voodoo.
- 33:42SPEAKER_00: That was awesome for my nervous system and my energy.
- 33:45SPEAKER_02: Yay, I love that.
- 33:47SPEAKER_02: Such a silver lining.
- 33:49SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 33:51SPEAKER_01: Silver lining.
- 33:52SPEAKER_01: Tell me what was your silver lining?
- 33:54SPEAKER_01: My silver lining.
- 33:56SPEAKER_01: I don't know if this is necessarily a silver lining, but it's like the beauty of the last couple of years for myself personally has been that I feel like I'm really just fine-tuning my life because I'm in a space of alignment, I would say 98% of the time.
- 34:13SPEAKER_01: So I feel very, very aligned to my purpose, what I enjoy, what lights me up, my best life essentially.
- 34:22SPEAKER_01: And now I'm just fine-tuning my days, really.
- 34:25SPEAKER_01: I feel so blessed that I'm just in a space of like, okay, this is really working for me.
- 34:31SPEAKER_01: Let's see if there's any space for improvement and up-leveling.
- 34:35SPEAKER_01: But really, through this whole thing, I've just been coming more into my own, I think.
- 34:40SPEAKER_01: And that has a lot to do with meeting Jeffrey, my partner, and now we're engaged.
- 34:44SPEAKER_01: And we met January 1st, 2020.
- 34:46SPEAKER_01: So, right before shit hit the fan.
- 34:48SPEAKER_01: So we could, you know, hold each other's hands through the chaos and just like build our best lives together.
- 34:54SPEAKER_01: So I would say this chapter of like global chaos from 2020 until now has just been kind of in the background because I've just been over here living my best life.
- 35:07SPEAKER_01: And I think personally, really, that the purpose of this is to usher in my own heaven on earth, which I have done and am fine-tuning to help anchor that in for the collective and also show others the way.
- 35:21SPEAKER_01: Like your life doesn't have to be so hard either.
- 35:23SPEAKER_01: You don't have to be in struggle just because you don't like the president.
- 35:26SPEAKER_01: That doesn't have to affect your life.
- 35:27SPEAKER_01: Like, you are in your own power and you'll be untouchable in that.
- 35:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 35:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 35:33SPEAKER_02: A hundred percent.
- 35:34SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 35:35SPEAKER_02: And and you know, and I kind of felt that way too, especially in 2020, where I kind of felt like everything started to get like really good for me.
- 35:45SPEAKER_02: And I knew that it was getting like bad for people, you know.
- 35:48SPEAKER_02: And I kind of felt like, is this okay?
- 35:51SPEAKER_02: Then my life just got exponentially better, especially because I didn't have to work anymore, really.
- 35:58SPEAKER_02: Like I didn't have to go to work anymore.
- 36:01SPEAKER_02: So I had like this huge opening in my life where I could like build my business and I had all this time and like everything just started to get so much easier.
- 36:11SPEAKER_02: But I also was really aware, too, that for everybody that was in alignment or was stepping into alignment with themselves, things got a lot easier.
- 36:23SPEAKER_02: And for everyone who was like refusing to step into alignment and was still wanting to hold on to old stories or old ways of being or stuff that wasn't gonna work for them because they were scared, then things just kept getting harder and harder and harder.
- 36:38SPEAKER_02: And I think I saw that with a lot of people.
- 36:40SPEAKER_00: That's not to say, I gotta say, people do not read into this and say that everybody that got COVID was just refusing to expand.
- 36:46SPEAKER_02: Cause that is not at all what we're saying.
- 36:50SPEAKER_00: I know that somebody's ears are like tingling at this, so just want to put it.
- 36:54SPEAKER_00: That's not what's going on.
- 36:55SPEAKER_00: I think it's more with just like hitting roadblocks, I guess you could say.
- 37:00SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 37:01SPEAKER_00: And that is true every day, regardless of whatever.
- 37:04SPEAKER_00: If you're not in alignment, you will see roadblocks, you will see things in your way.
- 37:09SPEAKER_00: 100%.
- 37:10SPEAKER_02: And I feel like it just keeps getting more and more apparent as we keep going into these post-2020 years, you know.
- 37:20SPEAKER_02: It's just like, and I kept saying this when I did my 2021 forecast and my 2022 forecast, is one of the messages I kept getting was that it was gonna be so difficult to do what wasn't in alignment.
- 37:34SPEAKER_02: Um, and it was just gonna keep getting more and more difficult, where you were just gonna keep being more and more uncomfortable.
- 37:40SPEAKER_02: And I've seen that with so many people, even people I know who aren't necessarily spiritual or who aren't necessarily like on the personal growth path.
- 37:49SPEAKER_02: They're like, oh, I need to like start my own business, or I need to leave my job, or I need to do this, or I need to do that.
- 37:55SPEAKER_02: It's just not working anymore.
- 37:57SPEAKER_02: Like all of those old ways aren't working anymore.
- 38:01SPEAKER_02: So it's a huge shift that I think happened for so many people.
- 38:05SPEAKER_02: I really do want to also talk about you guys and how you guys met and started the podcast because the podcast has become really successful and it's really awesome.
- 38:17SPEAKER_02: And like, how did that all come into being?
- 38:20SPEAKER_01: Well, you want me to go?
- 38:21SPEAKER_01: You are you should tell me.
- 38:23SPEAKER_01: Of course, I want to take credit and be like, Well, I was manifesting a podcast and so it landed in my lap with Lindsay's beautiful face packaged on the bow.
- 38:32SPEAKER_01: But I'm shouldn't do that, but I'm gonna do it anyway because I don't really care.
- 38:36SPEAKER_01: So what happened was Okay, but that's not how we met.
- 38:39SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna take credit for how we met.
- 38:41SPEAKER_01: You can take credit for the podcast story and then you tell how we met.
- 38:44SPEAKER_01: So we'll go in reverse.
- 38:46SPEAKER_01: Okay, so the podcast happened because, in all the ways that I love to express and teach, that was just like on my list of things to create was a podcast.
- 38:55SPEAKER_01: But there was never really like the opportunity or the energy or the time to just like today, I'm gonna start a podcast, you know?
- 39:02SPEAKER_01: And one day, Lindsay and I had been friends for a couple of years already, which she'll get into that story.
- 39:07SPEAKER_01: She calls me up and she's like, Hey, this online radio network, they offered me this show because they're like, Oh, you're a hypnotherapist.
- 39:16SPEAKER_01: That's cool.
- 39:17SPEAKER_01: Do you want to have a radio show?
- 39:18SPEAKER_01: And I said, No, because I don't want to do that.
- 39:20SPEAKER_01: That sounds horrible.
- 39:21SPEAKER_01: But then they told me that I could have a co-host.
- 39:24SPEAKER_01: So if you wanted to do the show with me, like I would consider it, was basically like her energy around it.
- 39:30SPEAKER_01: And I was like, is this even a question?
- 39:33SPEAKER_01: Like, obviously, we're doing this podcast.
- 39:37SPEAKER_01: I was like, here's my podcast that I've manifested, and I wrote it down, and of course it's happening because that's how it always works for me.
- 39:44SPEAKER_01: So here it is, and it's with my friend.
- 39:46SPEAKER_01: So that's great.
- 39:47SPEAKER_01: Like, let's tag team it, let's blow this shit up, change the world.
- 39:51SPEAKER_01: You're a hypnotherapist.
- 39:52SPEAKER_01: I'm also a transformation facilitator.
- 39:54SPEAKER_01: So, like, let's put our brains together and create these awesome activating conversations for people.
- 40:00SPEAKER_01: And so I basically didn't really give her the choice to opt out.
- 40:03SPEAKER_01: I just hyped her up so much that she would be like kind of enough into it that we could get it rolling.
- 40:08SPEAKER_01: And I was like literally pulling cards like, see, it's gonna be so good, it's gonna be so successful, like the gods want us to do this podcast.
- 40:15SPEAKER_01: And she was like, Okay, if you say so.
- 40:20SPEAKER_01: And that's how it was born.
- 40:22SPEAKER_01: Wow, I love that.
- 40:23SPEAKER_01: So it was like a radio show.
- 40:25SPEAKER_01: We started live.
- 40:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so our podcasts were not pre-recorded, it was live.
- 40:30SPEAKER_01: People would tune in as we were speaking.
- 40:32SPEAKER_01: Oh, wow.
- 40:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we had callers, it was basically streamed online.
- 40:36SPEAKER_01: They would call it well, we had like two callers, but it was really sweet when we did have callers.
- 40:42SPEAKER_01: And yeah, we had this producer and they hooked us up with these sponsors, and we had a whole show that was produced for us, and we had to pay the equivalent of a mortgage payment to produce this show.
- 40:55SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 40:55SPEAKER_01: For months, Lindsay and I, yeah, we were paying out of pocket because we believed so much in this message and we wanted to do this work so bad that we were investing our own money to make this show happen.
- 41:05SPEAKER_01: So instead of how it should be, where we're getting paid for our genius and our work and our effort, we were paying to do the work.
- 41:11SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 41:11SPEAKER_01: And this was for a long time until we hit a breaking point of like, well, I kind of feel like we know how to do this, and there's a way that it could be more in alignment without the network that we were with.
- 41:23SPEAKER_01: We just didn't feel like we were jiving with them anymore.
- 41:25SPEAKER_01: We evolved.
- 41:26SPEAKER_01: So we were like, let's go out on our own.
- 41:28SPEAKER_01: We can do this.
- 41:29SPEAKER_01: Yes, we'll probably lose a bunch of following, but whatever.
- 41:33SPEAKER_01: It's not worth all this money and time and effort.
- 41:35SPEAKER_01: Like, we should be getting something in return too.
- 41:37SPEAKER_01: Like, this is not a good energy exchange anymore.
- 41:41SPEAKER_01: So then we went off on our own, and now we produce the show on our own, and it's been growing slowly but surely, and hopefully we will take over the world.
- 41:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 41:51SPEAKER_01: See, I don't want to do that.
- 41:52SPEAKER_01: I know that's why we have it.
- 41:54SPEAKER_01: Lindsay and I have very different goals with the podcast.
- 41:57SPEAKER_01: So we're not pinky in brain, okay.
- 42:01SPEAKER_00: But wait, why is your goals different?
- 42:04SPEAKER_00: To be real, real.
- 42:05SPEAKER_00: I think our goals are the same, but the way that she's she's she's like world domination, which I know is not the intent, but I'm just like, I just want to talk to people and like help them if I can.
- 42:15SPEAKER_00: It's so much more low key than than Kelsey.
- 42:20SPEAKER_00: Kelsey's like, let's do speaking tours and let's host retreats.
- 42:23SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, I just want to talk to people a little bit.
- 42:26SPEAKER_00: I thrive off of knowing that I've made a positive difference in someone's life, as I'm sure most people do, and they should want that for people.
- 42:33SPEAKER_00: I just I've dreamed big in my own way.
- 42:36SPEAKER_00: Never would I ever envision myself as a podcast host or a TV host or any kind of whatever host, show host.
- 42:44SPEAKER_00: Maybe I should because I am maybe I have to be okay with and I am I love the show and I love what we bring to people.
- 42:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Kelsey's just very, very excited about dominating me.
- 42:57SPEAKER_01: If I'm gonna spend energy to impact one person, I would rather impact a million people.
- 43:02SPEAKER_01: Why not?
- 43:03SPEAKER_01: That's like my logic.
- 43:04SPEAKER_01: I always feel like I love you like kind of where we differ.
- 43:08SPEAKER_02: I feel that I feel the same way.
- 43:10SPEAKER_02: I mean, I feel like I want to impact as many people as possible, a hundred percent, you know, like because why not?
- 43:18SPEAKER_02: I mean, I know that what I'm sharing and what you're all sharing too is completely life-changing for people, so why not impact as many people as possible?
- 43:27SPEAKER_02: Because I think we all have the goal of wanting to make real changes in the world.
- 43:32SPEAKER_02: And in order to do that, and as many people as possible need to be impacted.
- 43:37SPEAKER_01: So and I think we balance each other in that sense too, because I'm the big picture.
- 43:43SPEAKER_01: Let's impact millions of people, and Lindsay feels really fulfilled by impacting the one, which sometimes I can lose sight of that because I'm like, oh well, I only help 10 people, not 10,000.
- 43:52SPEAKER_01: So it doesn't mean anything, you know?
- 43:54SPEAKER_01: So I think we balance each other in that way where it's like both are valuable.
- 43:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 43:59SPEAKER_01: Wait, so then how That you guys meet, we didn't talk about that.
- 44:02SPEAKER_01: I'll let Lindsay take that story.
- 44:04SPEAKER_00: So, again, very uncomfortable for me.
- 44:07SPEAKER_00: I hired a business coach and she was like, You're gonna do an online summit.
- 44:11SPEAKER_00: This was like in 2016 when summits were like, you gotta do a webinar or a summit or do like a master class.
- 44:17SPEAKER_00: And I was like, No, no, thanks.
- 44:20SPEAKER_00: She's like, No, you're gonna do it.
- 44:22SPEAKER_00: Everything that I've ever done that has been like crazy successful has always been somebody like dragging me, kicking, and screaming to be in the spotlight.
- 44:30SPEAKER_00: So she goes, Here's what you're gonna do.
- 44:32SPEAKER_00: You're gonna email these people, you're gonna get some experts on, you're gonna interview them.
- 44:35SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, I don't like any of this.
- 44:37SPEAKER_00: What do you mean?
- 44:38SPEAKER_00: But I did, and I made a list and I just Googled, you know, manifesting expert because I was like, Yeah, why not?
- 44:44SPEAKER_00: Let's have a manifesting person on.
- 44:46SPEAKER_00: And Kelsey's blonde hair and red lipstick popped up at that time.
- 44:51SPEAKER_00: Oh, you were blonde?
- 44:52SPEAKER_00: Short blonde.
- 44:54SPEAKER_00: Yes, with a bump.
- 44:55SPEAKER_00: Oh, totally different.
- 44:56SPEAKER_00: She was just so classy.
- 44:58SPEAKER_00: I can't even imagine that.
- 44:59SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 45:00SPEAKER_00: Oh, it's it looked great.
- 45:01SPEAKER_00: It really did.
- 45:02SPEAKER_00: I I enjoyed that look a lot.
- 45:03SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, yeah, she's she's great.
- 45:05SPEAKER_00: First of all, she looks like she knows what she's talking about.
- 45:07SPEAKER_00: She looks like we get along very well.
- 45:09SPEAKER_00: All of this going off of the short blonde hair and the red lipstick, which I also think in 2016 or 17, I also had short blonde hair as well.
- 45:16SPEAKER_00: So it was interesting.
- 45:17SPEAKER_00: But we talked and hit it off in like in a crazy way.
- 45:22SPEAKER_00: And you know, when you talk to somebody and you're just like, I know you, yeah, and I have known you before, and I will know you forever.
- 45:29SPEAKER_00: It was that kind of feeling.
- 45:30SPEAKER_00: And I was like, Yeah, she's like the soul sister.
- 45:32SPEAKER_01: It's kind of like a good first date, like, oh, we're just gonna grab some things that we're actually talking for four hours and now we're sisters.
- 45:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, cool.
- 45:41SPEAKER_00: And then we just kept talking about life stuff.
- 45:43SPEAKER_00: It wasn't always just about business, and then it evolved into like, like, I just want to know you as a human, and that went on for a couple years, and then the network was like, do a show, and like, no, thank you.
- 45:54SPEAKER_00: And then Kelsey was like, No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 45:57SPEAKER_00: Which I think I low-key, like my soul was still leading me in that because I wouldn't even have called you, right?
- 46:01SPEAKER_00: It would have been like you really didn't want to do it.
- 46:03SPEAKER_00: You wouldn't have been like, Hey, do you want to do this?
- 46:05SPEAKER_00: You would have been like, uh, no, shut that down real quick.
- 46:08SPEAKER_00: It would have come up on one of our chats, be like, Yeah, I turn this podcast down.
- 46:11SPEAKER_01: And then you'd be like, I would have been like, Are you fucking kidding me?
- 46:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you're gonna deprive my show.
- 46:20SPEAKER_00: So I think a little part of me did know that it was the right thing to do, and absolutely no doubt in my mind, it's the right thing to do.
- 46:26SPEAKER_00: I love what we bring to people, and I love talking to you every week.
- 46:30SPEAKER_00: And I love talking to we had Elise on the show, and now we're on her show, and it's just this, you don't get this.
- 46:36SPEAKER_00: And when you can get this, it's incredible.
- 46:38SPEAKER_02: So, yeah, I mean, I agree.
- 46:40SPEAKER_02: I love, I mean, I've only had my show since November, so I, you know, I'm very new at this, although it's grown in ways that I can't even, I'm like, what the fuck is happening here?
- 46:50SPEAKER_02: And I think it's also because I literally had like zero attachment to the podcast when I started it.
- 46:57SPEAKER_02: I was just like excited about it, but also I feel like because there wasn't necessarily like it wasn't gonna be like a money-making thing.
- 47:06SPEAKER_02: So I didn't have any attachment to it versus like, you know, launching a program or like, okay, I want to make this much money or whatever.
- 47:12SPEAKER_02: There's like that attachment to it.
- 47:14SPEAKER_02: I didn't have that.
- 47:15SPEAKER_02: I was just like, oh, this is gonna be fun.
- 47:17SPEAKER_02: And I'm just wanna have like fun people and talk to them that I think are interesting.
- 47:21SPEAKER_02: But then it just kind of like took off and it was like this crazy thing.
- 47:27SPEAKER_02: So I know that happened for me, but like, what do you guys think is the the secret sauce or the the key or whatever to like having a successful podcast?
- 47:37SPEAKER_00: I think you just have to have something that people can resonate with.
- 47:41SPEAKER_00: There is an audience for everything and consistency, yeah.
- 47:44SPEAKER_00: Consistency, consistency, absolutely.
- 47:47SPEAKER_00: But I think the energy you're bringing to it.
- 47:49SPEAKER_00: I've listened to podcasts before where I cannot stand the energy they're bringing to it, but I want to like it.
- 47:55SPEAKER_00: You know, it's like a topic I'm interested in, but I just can't get on board with these hosts, so I don't listen to it.
- 48:00SPEAKER_00: I think it has to be a beautiful combination of like you want to know what they're saying and you like how they're saying it.
- 48:07SPEAKER_00: Totally.
- 48:08SPEAKER_02: I agree with that because I feel like sometimes I'll be lit.
- 48:11SPEAKER_02: I actually can't listen to many people, like people's podcasts.
- 48:15SPEAKER_02: There's only a few that I listen to.
- 48:17SPEAKER_02: And like sometimes I'll listen to ones if like I know that I like the guest or whatever, but I don't have a lot of regular ones because people do get on my nerves.
- 48:26SPEAKER_02: I love when people, and this is what I try to do for people too, is like make me feel like I'm a part of the conversation.
- 48:33SPEAKER_02: Like the way that they're kind of talking is like you're right there with them.
- 48:38SPEAKER_02: Or the other thing that I try to do that I feel like I like when people do is like I try to ask things that I know everyone would want to know, like everyone would want to ask.
- 48:48SPEAKER_02: So I try to like kind of get in there a little bit and ask what I think people would like want to know, but might not want to say, like that kind of thing.
- 48:56SPEAKER_02: So I don't know, not that I know that much since I just like started this, but I'm just curious what your take on it was.
- 49:02SPEAKER_00: It's definitely true.
- 49:03SPEAKER_00: It's people are so over perfection, people are so over-tailored and the highlight reels, as much as you can bring your human to the table, they will be able to acknowledge you and see you the way they see themselves.
- 49:18SPEAKER_00: And I'm learning that still to this day.
- 49:20SPEAKER_00: The fact that we had a live show first, girl.
- 49:24SPEAKER_01: We got real good, real I love that.
- 49:27SPEAKER_01: Okay, let me tell you that.
- 49:28SPEAKER_00: You have to be okay saying stupid things, you have to be okay stuttering, you have to be okay forgetting something because it is what it is, and when you're okay with it, people will be okay with it.
- 49:38SPEAKER_00: And and I had to very quickly stop getting hung up on like how I was saying something or how it was gonna sound.
- 49:44SPEAKER_00: And so if you can do it, people, and you should, because it it it'll get it'll teach you a lot about yourself very quickly.
- 49:51SPEAKER_02: Well, also, I feel like that kind of brings you into a different level of self-worth.
- 49:57SPEAKER_02: Like when you have to just when you're kind of forced to like accept yeah, things about yourself that maybe you wouldn't have accepted before and bring yourself to that level of kind of like embracing yourself, that changes your energy.
- 50:11SPEAKER_02: Absolutely does.
- 50:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's definitely a mirror.
- 50:14SPEAKER_01: And to listen to yourself, I don't know how many of your podcast episodes you go back and listen to.
- 50:20SPEAKER_01: I listen to every single one of our shows because I edit them.
- 50:24SPEAKER_01: So I go through the whole thing again after the conversation, and it's very interesting to observe yourself and hear yourself and feel yourself from a third person perspective.
- 50:35SPEAKER_01: It definitely creates lots of opportunity for growth and expansion and releasing of judgment because it's so easy to be like, ew, I look so horrible.
- 50:46SPEAKER_01: Oh, I sound so ugly, blah, blah, blah.
- 50:49SPEAKER_01: You know, but then you just have to bring it back to like, okay, is this about me or is it about the message?
- 50:54SPEAKER_01: And the message is pretty fucking good because when I listen back to our shows, I get hyped.
- 50:58SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I'll text on y'all be like, this podcast is the shit.
- 51:02SPEAKER_01: Like, we are helping people.
- 51:04SPEAKER_01: This is awesome.
- 51:05SPEAKER_01: You said that thing, it was so funny, blah, blah, blah, whatever.
- 51:08SPEAKER_01: We are so smart.
- 51:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm like, we're the best at this.
- 51:10SPEAKER_01: Like, we are made for this.
- 51:12SPEAKER_01: Like, this is amazing.
- 51:13SPEAKER_01: You know, I get so pumped on it when I re-listen.
- 51:16SPEAKER_01: But there's definitely those days where I'm just like, ew, I am horrible.
- 51:20SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, I know.
- 51:21SPEAKER_01: And you know, that's just an invitation for more self-love.
- 51:24SPEAKER_01: So just practice on what I preach over here, just release it.
- 51:27SPEAKER_00: And it does help that nobody's ever gonna be as critical to you as you are to yourself.
- 51:32SPEAKER_00: So if all you're doing is like, oh, a hundred percent.
- 51:34SPEAKER_00: If all you're doing is once in a while doing it, they're probably never doing it.
- 51:37SPEAKER_00: They're probably like, oh, her voice sounds really nice today.
- 51:39SPEAKER_00: I don't know why.
- 51:39SPEAKER_00: And it's the same day that you're like, Why do I sound like this?
- 51:42SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 51:42SPEAKER_02: I've have actually always been very hyper-critical of my voice, whereas like before I couldn't even listen back to my voice, and now I like don't really care.
- 51:53SPEAKER_02: So I've I've grown so much in that sense.
- 51:55SPEAKER_02: And it like you reach like a level of self-acceptance that you just didn't have before, especially I think when you just put yourself out there in general, you know, because I think like we all have to kind of come up against this feeling of like, who am I?
- 52:10SPEAKER_02: Like, I was actually gonna share when you first started talking, Lindsay, in the beginning of when you were like becoming a hypnotherapist, like, can I really do this?
- 52:18SPEAKER_02: I remember having this moment, maybe it was probably like four months before I started my business, and I was listening to um Lacey Phillips, like her podcast.
- 52:28SPEAKER_02: And like I remember she's like talking about like her the shit she came up with, like her manifestation stuff.
- 52:34SPEAKER_02: And I remember listening to it and being like, I could do this.
- 52:38SPEAKER_02: Like, I could make shit up like that.
- 52:41SPEAKER_02: Like, that's exactly what I could do.
- 52:43SPEAKER_02: And I had this moment of just knowing that that's totally something that I could do, you know, like come up with my own process of how to create shit, you know, like I knew that I could do that.
- 52:54SPEAKER_02: But then of course I had like all of these feelings come in of like, why I can't, it's too far away, or who am I?
- 53:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know, and I think that's something that we all kind of come up against when you put yourself out there, is like, well, who am I to do that?
- 53:12SPEAKER_02: Or that kind of stuff that we come up against.
- 53:15SPEAKER_02: You're it's just kind of forced out of you when you when you step forward in this way.
- 53:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, for me, I just had to like get over it and be like, it's not about you, it's about the message.
- 53:26SPEAKER_01: You're the vessel, you're the channel, and you got some good shit to share.
- 53:30SPEAKER_01: So if you're gonna not share because you think you look a certain way or sound a certain way, you're literally doing everyone a disservice.
- 53:37SPEAKER_01: Oh, and the whole reason why you're doing this work is because you want to serve people.
- 53:41SPEAKER_01: So that is not productive to the goal.
- 53:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 53:45SPEAKER_02: And I always get the message too that like it's actually like if you don't share this, it's actually a disservice to everybody, including yourself.
- 53:55SPEAKER_02: And there's people literally out there waiting for this.
- 53:59SPEAKER_01: So let's get the show on the roll.
- 54:01SPEAKER_01: And I think to go back to what you were asking before, like what has made our show successful?
- 54:06SPEAKER_01: I think people just really appreciate that we're two young ladies just keeping it real.
- 54:11SPEAKER_01: And we really don't edit the show.
- 54:14SPEAKER_01: Like the only time I'll take anything out of the recording is maybe if we overshare something personal or something about our spouse or something that we're like, uh, do I really want everyone to be in my business about that?
- 54:24SPEAKER_01: Maybe not, reel it back in.
- 54:25SPEAKER_01: But usually, like if we fuck up, if we say something weird, like it's going in.
- 54:31SPEAKER_01: I'm not really editing this.
- 54:32SPEAKER_01: I don't have the patience.
- 54:33SPEAKER_01: Like, it's a raw conversation.
- 54:35SPEAKER_01: So I think people really appreciate that.
- 54:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I agree.
- 54:39SPEAKER_02: I think people really appreciate that.
- 54:40SPEAKER_02: I remember somebody told my husband, like a friend of my husband's told him that like she listens to my podcast, and she was like, Yeah, I love when Elise talks about you.
- 54:50SPEAKER_02: And he was like, What do you say about me?
- 54:52SPEAKER_02: Like he got like all upset.
- 54:54SPEAKER_02: But I feel like the point is is like people actually enjoy hearing like that just raw shit from your life that comes out, and that's part of it, you know, that it like shows who you really are.
- 55:07SPEAKER_02: So I'm sure that's contributed to your success.
- 55:10SPEAKER_02: So I know we're like coming up on time here.
- 55:13SPEAKER_02: So why don't we have you guys share first of all?
- 55:16SPEAKER_02: Well, really quick too.
- 55:17SPEAKER_02: I'd love to hear from both of you just what's on the horizon for you guys right now, and then also where we can find you.
- 55:25SPEAKER_00: Business wise, I am just kind of bulking up my membership a lot and giving people a lot of things to choose from in there.
- 55:33SPEAKER_00: It's a hypnotherapy membership where they can kind of sign up and get access to all of my digital products that I don't offer, I really don't offer anywhere else.
- 55:41SPEAKER_00: I took my shop down, I took everything down, it's all in the membership.
- 55:44SPEAKER_00: So that has been the biggest project lately.
- 55:48SPEAKER_00: Summer vacation just started, so we're thinking of going to Hawaii while we're still on the West Coast because we're gonna be moving probably in the next year or so, and then we won't be as close to that stuff.
- 55:59SPEAKER_00: So we're probably gonna do that.
- 56:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and just just continuing to take one-on-one clients and um helping them rewire their brains so that they can also default to not worry the way that I have learned how to do.
- 56:13SPEAKER_00: Um, it's really good, it's a really good feeling, guys.
- 56:16SPEAKER_00: I really like it, and I'm just hoping it stays.
- 56:19SPEAKER_00: That's uh what else?
- 56:20SPEAKER_00: Nothing.
- 56:21SPEAKER_00: I'm just nursing my kids back to health, and that's pretty much it at this point.
- 56:26SPEAKER_00: So you can find me on my website, lindseyrobinson.com.
- 56:30SPEAKER_00: Instagram is the social media I use the most.
- 56:33SPEAKER_00: Right now I'm very active on TikTok.
- 56:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's uh Instagram, my website, and did I miss anything, Kelsey?
- 56:40SPEAKER_00: The podcast.
- 56:40SPEAKER_00: High vibing it.
- 56:41SPEAKER_00: Check us out on the podcast the G because we're cool.
- 56:44SPEAKER_01: So we just spell it high.
- 56:45SPEAKER_01: Well, that part has a G.
- 56:46SPEAKER_01: Space vibe in apostrophe, no G.
- 56:50SPEAKER_01: It.
- 56:51SPEAKER_01: We are high vibing.
- 56:52SPEAKER_02: We will share all of that in the show notes, Kelsey.
- 56:55SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, this is a loaded question.
- 56:58SPEAKER_01: So a lot has been happening, a lot is in the works.
- 57:02SPEAKER_01: I'm about to get married next year, so planning a wedding, which is really fun.
- 57:07SPEAKER_01: I just found my dress, which I have to send pictures to Lindsay.
- 57:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's so good.
- 57:11SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 57:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'll send you pics of that.
- 57:13SPEAKER_01: I just moved to the Carolinas, so I've just been like building up my home here.
- 57:17SPEAKER_01: This is the first home that I've owned.
- 57:19SPEAKER_01: So just taking ownership and making it like my gorgeous sanctuary, functioning the shit out of it.
- 57:24SPEAKER_01: That's a project.
- 57:24SPEAKER_01: The grass, that's a project.
- 57:26SPEAKER_01: Don't even get me started.
- 57:27SPEAKER_01: I'm a grass person now, it's a whole thing.
- 57:30SPEAKER_01: But um, yeah, I've been working on a bunch of books.
- 57:33SPEAKER_01: I'm working on one right now called Why the Law of Attraction Works for Some People, but not you.
- 57:38SPEAKER_01: And that's gonna be the next bestseller.
- 57:40SPEAKER_01: So keep your eyes peeled for that one.
- 57:43SPEAKER_01: It's all about troubleshooting resistance, so it's like next level manifesting.
- 57:47SPEAKER_01: Very excited for that.
- 57:48SPEAKER_01: Um, hosting a retreat in October for women on the self-love path, self-love journey.
- 57:54SPEAKER_01: We're going to Mexico for that, which will be really fun.
- 57:57SPEAKER_01: And yeah, overall, personally, I'm just embracing more ease in my life and just really coming into my own and really owning my gifts like more than I ever have before.
- 58:10SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, if you want to join me on that journey, or if you need any help with your perspective, your emotions, your self-lovery, your manifestation mastery, um, you can go to kelseyaida.com.
- 58:21SPEAKER_01: It's aida like the opera, a i d a.
- 58:24SPEAKER_01: I mean, I'm Kelsey Aida everywhere on Instagram.
- 58:27SPEAKER_01: I love Instagram, on TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, all the things, YouTube, all of it.
- 58:33SPEAKER_02: Yay, thank you.
- 58:34SPEAKER_02: Okay, and then for our very last question for you guys what is a non-negotiable when it comes to fully reclaiming your consciousness?
- 58:44SPEAKER_02: There's so many.
- 58:45unknown: I know.
- 58:47SPEAKER_00: Ask yourself more questions.
- 58:50SPEAKER_02: That would be mine.
- 58:51SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 58:52SPEAKER_00: That brings us full circle.
- 58:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, actually.
- 58:56SPEAKER_00: If I don't ask myself, where is this feeling coming from?
- 59:01SPEAKER_00: What do I need right now?
- 59:04SPEAKER_00: I would just be floating through life, wondering why things are happening to me.
- 59:10SPEAKER_00: And why why I can't, you know, figure it out.
- 59:13SPEAKER_00: Because you're not asking questions.
- 59:14SPEAKER_00: And it's so cliche to say look inward, it's all inward, but gosh dang it, it's a cliche for a reason because it's damn true.
- 59:20SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 59:21SPEAKER_00: So ask yourself more questions.
- 59:23SPEAKER_00: I get a little bit certain type of way about this because it is so important.
- 59:27SPEAKER_00: Ask yourself, why do I feel this way?
- 59:29SPEAKER_00: What do I need right now?
- 59:30SPEAKER_00: If I did know the answer, what would it be?
- 59:33SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 59:33SPEAKER_02: I always say that.
- 59:35SPEAKER_00: If you did know.
- 59:36SPEAKER_02: If you did know, yeah.
- 59:37SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 59:38SPEAKER_00: Spoiler, you already do know.
- 59:40SPEAKER_00: You always know.
- 59:40SPEAKER_00: So it's just a nice roundabout way to get yourself to admit that.
- 59:44SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, that would be for me the non-negotiable, because if you don't do that, you're dead in the water, for lack of a better phrase.
- 59:52SPEAKER_00: It's just, it's a non-starter.
- 59:53SPEAKER_00: If you don't know how to ask yourself questions, if you don't know how to know yourself, or at least begin to do that, what are you doing?
- 1:00:02SPEAKER_00: What are you trying to do?
- 1:00:05SPEAKER_01: Well, I couldn't agree more.
- 1:00:07SPEAKER_01: Thank you for that.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_01: Kelsey, what about you?
- 1:00:09SPEAKER_01: That was well said.
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_01: I think mine's similar.
- 1:00:11SPEAKER_01: So two things came to mind.
- 1:00:14SPEAKER_01: One is to always have self-love in the process because it can be brutal and uncomfortable.
- 1:00:21SPEAKER_01: And then my second one would be radical honesty and willingness to act on the information that comes to you.
- 1:00:29SPEAKER_01: Because it's one thing to bring all these things into awareness and have so much consciousness.
- 1:00:34SPEAKER_01: But if you're not willing to make the changes in your life necessary to be in alignment with that newfound consciousness, then you're just gonna suffer more.
- 1:00:43SPEAKER_01: So for me, it's all about self-love in the process, radical honesty, and a willingness to change.
- 1:00:51SPEAKER_01: I love that so much.
- 1:00:52SPEAKER_02: I always say you have to curate your life to support your healing.
- 1:00:56SPEAKER_02: Where so it's like the same thing.
- 1:00:58SPEAKER_02: So I love that.
- 1:00:59SPEAKER_00: Well, and the good news is, I think once you are able to have that awareness, you will unconsciously start to notice, you'll be hyper-aware of the things, as you said, Elise earlier, that don't fit in your life anymore.
- 1:01:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:01:12SPEAKER_00: So, yes, absolutely, at that point you need to make a decision.
- 1:01:15SPEAKER_00: But we are beautiful creatures on this planet.
- 1:01:18SPEAKER_00: We know, you know, we know more than we think we do.
- 1:01:20SPEAKER_00: And you're gonna become aware of like things that are becoming more and more uncomfortable.
- 1:01:24SPEAKER_00: And sometimes that means you will make a move because you are so staying is so much more uncomfortable than making the move to something better, you know.
- 1:01:32SPEAKER_00: A hundred percent.
- 1:01:33SPEAKER_02: Well, thank you so much, ladies.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_02: This was so much fun.
- 1:01:37SPEAKER_02: I'm so glad you both joined me, and I know everyone's gonna love it.
- 1:01:40SPEAKER_02: So thank you for being here, and we will talk to you soon.
