- 3:00you'll love it i just wanted to point that out.
- 3:02Well, it kind of segues into this topic for today. Dreams.
- 3:07Where our dreams have been, where your dreams are to be who you want to be.
- 3:12You know, we grow up, we want to be firefighters. We want to be police officers.
- 3:16We want to be musicians. We want to be somebody.
- 3:20And as we get older, sometimes our life shifts and curve balls and happen.
- 3:25And you know, you don't want to be that fireman anymore. Now you want to be a doctor.
- 3:29It's okay to shift around your dreams.
- 3:33It's okay to want to be something different.
- 3:36What's really cool about having a dream is having the opportunity to say, I want to do this.
- 3:44I know I can be this.
- 3:47I know I have the talent for this.
- 3:50You have that gift. As I stated before, as we come into our own and as we grow
- 3:57up and we say to ourselves, I know what I want to be.
- 4:00It doesn't matter how old you are. You know, at 46 years old,
- 4:04you know, I'm going to start in the spring.
- 4:07I'm going to be going to seminary school. I always wanted to be a pastor. Well, guess what?
- 4:11I'm at 46 years old, which means by the time I'm 49, I will be a licensed and I will be a pastor.
- 4:18It doesn't matter when it happens. It's going to happen. It's all in good time.
- 4:23So if you're a musician out there and you're saying, I want to play the violin
- 4:27today. I want to play the piano. You can do it.
- 4:30Go for it. Have fun. Do what you want to do and be what you want to be.
- 4:35Because I guarantee you, you will have a blast and you'll be so happy that you did it.
- 4:41And that's really all that I have for you today. I'm excited because of so many
- 4:45things happening on this weekend. And for those of you that don't know,
- 4:48I will be preaching back at my church this Sunday.
- 4:52It's called Love Your Neighbor. I hope you'll attend.
- 4:55We are gonna have the audio version airing on Tuesday because Monday we're bringing back Dr.
- 5:02E. So Tuesday, we will bring.
- 5:05You know, back Sunday's sermon called Love Your Neighbor. Monday, Dr. E is back.
- 5:11And I hope we can also have somebody maybe from the School of Music,
- 5:14New York School of Music, come on and tell us how the event was.
- 5:17That would be awesome. I'm inviting them as well.
