EU GPSR Part 2 - Technical Documentation & Risk Analysis
Article 9(2) of the General Product Safety Regulation states that:
"Manufacturers shall carry out an internal risk analysis and draw up technical documentation containing at least a general description of the product and its essential characteristics relevant for assessing its safety"
In short, this means that you must:
a. Write a product description
b. List product specifications
c. Identify potential risks
d. Explain how you have addressed risks by adopting standards and testing
e. or providing instructions and warnings
