- 1:12Speaker 3: that'd be rerilliant. Now Garrett's been on before, so we're
- 1:15Speaker 3: going to go over a few things, a few basics.
- 1:17Speaker 3: But yeah, I'm looking forward to this because it's so

- 1:25Speaker 3: So we're going to get guarantee tell us all about
- 1:28Speaker 3: it very shortly.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Yeah, that's also all very very very very interesting, and
- 1:35Speaker 1: I'm sure we'll have a few stories to tell when
- 1:37Speaker 1: we got Claren.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Sorry, yeah, a few stories, a few stories.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Don't tell me you'll be turning the clock back.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Well we could, we could do. We got a show
- 1:45Speaker 2: on that one.
- 1:46Speaker 3: What was it the five side down? And what was
- 1:48Speaker 3: that place called with the post to wrap the post?
- 1:53Speaker 3: Before Tyre was born?
- 1:54Speaker 2: That was.
- 1:58Speaker 1: As Taya was saying earlier, she she never got to
- 2:01Speaker 1: have the pleasure of going to the rotunder.
- 2:04Speaker 2: I mean, that's.
- 2:04Speaker 1: That's Oh any folks have missed out on the life
- 2:08Speaker 1: of their tale?
- 2:11Speaker 2: Do you remember the rotunda?
- 2:13Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 2:14Speaker 4: Yeah, I used to go down a lot Sunday Market,
- 2:16Speaker 4: that's right, and walk back up to my house only
- 2:19Speaker 4: about a mile or so away.
- 2:22Speaker 3: They were, yeah, good old days.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Anyway, we better crack on.
- 2:25Speaker 1: And you text me yesterday you said it was somebody's
- 2:27Speaker 1: birthday today.
- 2:29Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yesterday.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Phil Collins, he's not very well. He's been very open
- 2:38Speaker 3: about it, so.
- 2:39Speaker 2: It's not been very well for a while though I wasn't.
- 2:41Speaker 3: No, no, no, it's a shame. So many memories of
- 2:44Speaker 3: these songs with Genesis and on his own as well,
- 2:47Speaker 3: so they play a few of them today.
- 2:49Speaker 1: We certainly will, yet, definitely will. What you got coming
- 2:52Speaker 1: up today?
- 2:52Speaker 3: Give Oh, I've got a bit of the usual stuff.
- 2:54Speaker 3: We've got some football, We've got some hockey, we got
- 2:57Speaker 3: some rugby, a bit of basketball, and all the Olympics
- 3:02Speaker 3: are starting. Olympic ceremony. Opening ceremony is in Milan on
- 3:06Speaker 3: February the sixth, the Winter Olympics, by the way, So
- 3:09Speaker 3: if we can squeeze it all in, let's let's get
- 3:12Speaker 3: cracking there, shall we.
- 3:13Speaker 1: We shore with play the first track this morning. As
- 3:15Speaker 1: you said, Phil Collins, this was a duet you had
- 3:18Speaker 1: with Philip Bavilly and this.
- 3:19Speaker 2: One's called easy Lover. They gave Phil.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Collins and Phil, as it says on this play list,
- 3:42Speaker 1: Pillip Bailey Pillip pillip.
- 3:44Speaker 2: They missed the age.
- 3:46Speaker 1: That's what my like my spelling, that is, they gave
- 3:49Speaker 1: as I say, Phil Collins and Philip baby easy lover
- 3:52Speaker 1: seventy five years young Phil Collins yesterday.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Okay, key, I supposed to about starting a bit of small.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, yes, this is sports show after all. Well
- 4:01Speaker 3: we're joined now by Garret Wilson. Morning, garrant.
- 4:03Speaker 4: How are you morning.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Have you recovered from the defeat last week? Yeah? The
- 4:08Speaker 3: lads you know on Tuesday or Wednesday training, Yeah.
- 4:12Speaker 4: They weren't too bad. The ones that come and we've
- 4:14Speaker 4: got we had a few knocks where players arrested from
- 4:17Speaker 4: that training session, but other than that they were okay.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Good, good. Well let's go back for people that are
- 4:24Speaker 3: not sure about what we're going to talk about this morning.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Folks in Victor, I've got a disability team and it's
- 4:30Speaker 3: been going a very long time, and so I do
- 4:33Speaker 3: believe it was under a different name all those years ago.
- 4:36Speaker 3: What was it called then?
- 4:37Speaker 4: It used to be Shepway Wanderers back in the day.
- 4:41Speaker 4: They were in the eleven a side league that they
- 4:44Speaker 4: had been in two thousand and seven, we decided to
- 4:49Speaker 4: link up with folks in Victor.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Right, and you've really gone from strength to strength. It's
- 4:54Speaker 3: nice to know that you've had the consistency all those
- 4:57Speaker 3: years to put a side out. But I'm I expect
- 5:00Speaker 3: people are wondering what. I don't know, what eligibility does
- 5:05Speaker 3: someone that's going to play for a disability team. I mean,
- 5:09Speaker 3: what are the entry requirements if you like?
- 5:13Speaker 4: There's many things from mental health through to learning disabilities,
- 5:17Speaker 4: learning difficulties, ad H injuries, old injuries that people have
- 5:22Speaker 4: had that stopped them playing from mainstream football. Eyesight is
- 5:27Speaker 4: another one vision the visional impairments. There's quite a few really.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, okay, now if you like last week, let's
- 5:39Speaker 3: just remind our listeners that you went up to Chelsea
- 5:42Speaker 3: and I was lucky enough to go on the coach
- 5:44Speaker 3: with you and it was a nice little touch because
- 5:46Speaker 3: we had the Jay Saunders and Lloyd Blackman got on
- 5:48Speaker 3: the coach and.
- 5:49Speaker 4: Yes, that was super Thanks for that, Kevin, Yeah, I
- 5:51Speaker 4: know you played a part in that. It's nice to
- 5:54Speaker 4: have them come on the board on board and then
- 5:57Speaker 4: wish the lad's good luck in there.
- 6:00Speaker 3: That's right, Yeah, it was, it was just it was
- 6:02Speaker 3: it was just cool and just right. And they were
- 6:05Speaker 3: really enthusiastic about it, didn't they. Yeah, that's really great.
- 6:09Speaker 3: So so it went up to Chelsea the training ground Corbham.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Now I'd never been there before and I was absolutely
- 6:19Speaker 3: blown away by the facilities. I know they're premier side,
- 6:23Speaker 3: and I didn't expect it to be as big as
- 6:26Speaker 3: it was. There was water wall pitches everywhere, wasn't there. Yeah?
- 6:30Speaker 4: Yeah, and there was super quality as well.
- 6:33Speaker 3: That's right. There was like grass and three G, four
- 6:37Speaker 3: G whatever, just back to back. But it was so
- 6:40Speaker 3: nicely laid out, so nicely sculptured, you know. It was
- 6:44Speaker 3: the architecture that's it was like put those hedges in
- 6:47Speaker 3: between the pitches and there was a great big lake
- 6:51Speaker 3: with a waterfall. It wasn't It wasn't like if anyone's
- 6:55Speaker 3: ever played Hackney Marshes or anywhere like that.
- 6:57Speaker 4: It was you know.
- 6:58Speaker 3: I mean you were paying on pitch thirty seven and
- 7:01Speaker 3: you had to put the nets up on a Sunday morning.
- 7:03Speaker 3: It wasn't much fun, but you wouldn't to be doing that,
- 7:05Speaker 3: but it was great. It was wonderful. I mean the
- 7:07Speaker 3: boys took it in the stray because I think they've
- 7:09Speaker 3: been there.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Before.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I've been there. I went there two thousand,
- 7:13Speaker 4: I think it was twenty eleven. We won three one
- 7:16Speaker 4: up there to win the Southeast Ability Accounts League and
- 7:20Speaker 4: it was completely different then. There's so much improved obviously,
- 7:24Speaker 4: You've got the arena there now, and also stands around
- 7:28Speaker 4: the pitches of some of the pitches so that any
- 7:30Speaker 4: supporters that come up can actually sit in the stand.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, nearly every pitch had a stand, isn't it. Yeah,
- 7:36Speaker 3: it was amazing. And I was talking to John Thornton.
- 7:39Speaker 3: The captain was John the captain.
- 7:42Speaker 4: Troy was captain.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Troy was captain. But yeah, but John, John's been with
- 7:45Speaker 3: you a long long time and he was telling me
- 7:49Speaker 3: that what he'd seen improve over the years, like the
- 7:53Speaker 3: fountain and of the lake, and they've got an indoor
- 7:57Speaker 3: football pitch as well.
- 7:58Speaker 4: Yeah that's the arena. Yeah. The first team muse that
- 8:00Speaker 4: I think a lot of the time with the weather situations. Yeah,
- 8:03Speaker 4: but they do get them out on the grass. Pictures
- 8:05Speaker 4: make them used to it in the cold.
- 8:07Speaker 2: A little bit.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Yeah. And of course the difference between folks in Victor
- 8:11Speaker 3: Disability Team and Chelsea Disability Team is the number of
- 8:15Speaker 3: players that are attracted. Tell us about that, the.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Difference, basically, the difference on Saturday. We spoke obviously, I
- 8:23Speaker 4: speak to Chelsea coach quite often. They have forty five
- 8:28Speaker 4: players signed on and twenty one are available for that Saturday,
- 8:32Speaker 4: so you know we had thirteen available, no sorry, fifteen available,
- 8:37Speaker 4: including myself. So yeah, it worn't easy.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:40Speaker 3: I did hear the manager say said, it's the badge
- 8:42Speaker 3: that pulls them in, so you can't blame really.
- 8:44Speaker 4: Correct, Yeah, yeah, yeah, obviously on that note, they pay
- 8:48Speaker 4: quite a bit of money for that.
- 8:50Speaker 3: For the privilege, for the privilege. Yeah, okay, well going
- 8:54Speaker 3: to that politics again. Yeah yeah, So let's just briefly
- 9:01Speaker 3: talk about the game itself. It was going so well,
- 9:05Speaker 3: wasn't it until was it the thirty ninth minutes?
- 9:08Speaker 4: Thirty third? I think? Yeah, h We set up a
- 9:11Speaker 4: game plan in the changing rooms, on the board how
- 9:14Speaker 4: we were going to do it, and there was no issues.
- 9:16Speaker 4: Everyone was doing their job. We had one slip and
- 9:19Speaker 4: I think Pete made a fake of fabulous save, and
- 9:22Speaker 4: then after that those twelve minutes up to halftime, we
- 9:28Speaker 4: just fell apart.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Bang three goals in about nine minutes. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 9:33Speaker 3: which is a shame because it was even Stevens then
- 9:36Speaker 3: that's right. Yeah, but I mean coming back from three
- 9:38Speaker 3: to Neil and obviously the Chelsea boys their heads went
- 9:41Speaker 3: up and they did have some pretty gifted players, to
- 9:44Speaker 3: be fair.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Yeah they do. One of them we kept very quiet
- 9:48Speaker 4: and that was their top scorer. But on the other
- 9:51Speaker 4: side they managed to get him beyond where decision making
- 9:55Speaker 4: by a couple of our players was wrong and they
- 9:58Speaker 4: got him behind and that that's what caused us problems. Yeah,
- 10:01Speaker 4: after that second half, I'll give them that as they
- 10:05Speaker 4: put in a great effort. Yeah, you know, we just
- 10:08Speaker 4: couldn't get back in it. There was one decision perhaps
- 10:10Speaker 4: it may have changed the great game when Sonny went
- 10:13Speaker 4: through and he was chopped down. You know, another referee
- 10:18Speaker 4: may have issued a red card. But very is fair.
- 10:21Speaker 4: You know, referee done a good job. I weren't going
- 10:23Speaker 4: to argue over.
- 10:24Speaker 3: No, no, it was a female referee actually, but she
- 10:27Speaker 3: did a good job. I must have made Yeah. Yeah,
- 10:29Speaker 3: well Adrian was coming up next.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Well, we've had Phil Collins on his own and we're
- 10:34Speaker 1: living with these band Genesis and this one's called invisible touch.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Perhaps that's what it was with the brin cards. It
- 10:41Speaker 1: was an invisible touch and so he did. Referee didn't
- 10:44Speaker 1: give it. Okay, anyway, we'll be back with Garrant and
- 10:47Speaker 1: keV and myself after this one from Genesis. This one,
- 10:50Speaker 1: as I said, invisible touch. Bill Collins there along with
- 11:11Speaker 1: his band Genesis and invisible Touch, like I won't keV.
- 11:15Speaker 3: I love that one. Actually I remember doing back in
- 11:18Speaker 3: the day. I was the only bloke that used to
- 11:21Speaker 3: go to an aerobics class. It was full of ladies,
- 11:23Speaker 3: you know, down the first club and I was. I
- 11:29Speaker 3: was at the back and this there was a lady
- 11:33Speaker 3: coach as well, and I just remember she went, okay, ladies,
- 11:37Speaker 3: we're gonna lign our backs and do some pelvic thrusts.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Not you, Kevin, she said. But she always used to
- 11:44Speaker 3: play Invisible Touch as the last last song of the
- 11:47Speaker 3: of the exercise of the hour, and it was kind
- 11:49Speaker 3: of a free for all. You did what you like,
- 11:51Speaker 3: you know, and it just takes me straight back to
- 11:53Speaker 3: that gym.
- 11:54Speaker 2: You weren't you weren't there doing your invisible touch?
- 11:58Speaker 3: Arrested for that. Okay, so is this a sports show?
- 12:01Speaker 3: So we are digressing a bit, as we do every
- 12:03Speaker 3: Saturday morning, but we were joined by Garrett Wilson, the
- 12:07Speaker 3: manager of the Folks, and Evic's a disability team. Now
- 12:11Speaker 3: we've been talking about the eleven a side game, but
- 12:15Speaker 3: there is another side to the disability team, and that's
- 12:18Speaker 3: the Kent Disability Football League which happens in Faversham. And
- 12:22Speaker 3: this is kind of full on when it happens, it's
- 12:25Speaker 3: full on. So without further ado garrant, excuse me if
- 12:30Speaker 3: I could just ask you to tell us a bit
- 12:32Speaker 3: more about the if like the disability League at Faversham,
- 12:35Speaker 3: how many players, how long it is each way and
- 12:38Speaker 3: how many games you get during the day, that sort
- 12:40Speaker 3: of thing.
- 12:41Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, keV. Basically it's at the Abbey School, Faversham's
- 12:45Speaker 4: seven A side. We've got two teams up there, one
- 12:50Speaker 4: sort of a lower ability and one's slightly horror ability.
- 12:55Speaker 4: One's played the slightly horror Ability is played on a
- 12:57Speaker 4: grass pitch, which is normal football rules as well, where
- 13:02Speaker 4: you know, you can come straight up as far as
- 13:04Speaker 4: to the goalkeeper and score and things like that, and
- 13:08Speaker 4: the other one you have an area where you're not
- 13:11Speaker 4: allowed in basically similar to five side league that we
- 13:14Speaker 4: used to play in. And that's that's good for the
- 13:18Speaker 4: lower ability as well. The higher ability team are doing
- 13:22Speaker 4: quite well. We've got about thirteen players signed on, but
- 13:27Speaker 4: we normally only have basically eight or nine available, so
- 13:32Speaker 4: it's we're top of that at the moment. We should
- 13:37Speaker 4: win that league if we keep going the way we are,
- 13:40Speaker 4: but we had a bit of a blip last month.
- 13:42Speaker 4: We seem to lose the initiative a little bit and
- 13:46Speaker 4: go individual instead of passing it around like we had
- 13:49Speaker 4: been in the other tournament week.
- 13:51Speaker 3: So how often are these games? These little tournaments taking place.
- 13:54Speaker 4: Normally once a month, normally seven or eight of them depending.
- 13:59Speaker 4: We have one canceled in January obviously due to the
- 14:03Speaker 4: storm that came in, which was frustrating. But they can't
- 14:07Speaker 4: rearrange the tournaments because obviously you get set dates that
- 14:11Speaker 4: you get and you find that the free g up
- 14:13Speaker 4: at Abbey School gets booked out quite quickly.
- 14:18Speaker 3: And the other team they're not doing so well are.
- 14:20Speaker 4: They They're not doing brilliantly. But there again, it's about
- 14:24Speaker 4: consistency and development in that league as well. So the
- 14:28Speaker 4: players that come in start off there and if they
- 14:31Speaker 4: do really well, they get moved up.
- 14:34Speaker 3: But at the moment, so they can interchange. If someone's
- 14:37Speaker 3: having a really bad game in the top team.
- 14:39Speaker 4: They can be moved up, but you can't move players
- 14:42Speaker 4: back down again. Once you move up, that's it until
- 14:45Speaker 4: the end of the season. Like say we're in Championship
- 14:48Speaker 4: one with the top team. If they go up to
- 14:50Speaker 4: the premiership level and we were to sign say two
- 14:55Speaker 4: players that were of a better quality, then obviously we
- 14:59Speaker 4: could drop drop the others down to Championship two to
- 15:04Speaker 4: playing that if we needed to.
- 15:06Speaker 3: And I see there's one, two, three, four, five six
- 15:09Speaker 3: teams in the league, including yourselves. So on match day
- 15:13Speaker 3: do you get to play all the other teams?
- 15:15Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 15:15Speaker 4: Yeah, really quite a full on day there. There are
- 15:18Speaker 4: only nine minute games unless the team doesn't turn up
- 15:21Speaker 4: then like last month the Champ two team played fourteen
- 15:25Speaker 4: minute games I think.
- 15:27Speaker 3: So there's no half time or anything, no half half
- 15:29Speaker 3: great through yeah right, So it keeps the lads on
- 15:32Speaker 3: their toes anyway, doesn't it.
- 15:33Speaker 4: Yeah. We also get quite a few come up and
- 15:35Speaker 4: watch us, parents and carers plus a few others. I
- 15:41Speaker 4: know Lance for Parlance turned up a couple of times
- 15:43Speaker 4: to watch. But it's a good day because obviously you've
- 15:46Speaker 4: got a burger van situation the.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Trade y Yeah they do, yeah, yeah, great, right, okay,
- 15:56Speaker 3: so we're going to play a bit of music now,
- 15:57Speaker 3: we're going to come back and we do a little
- 15:58Speaker 3: bit more sport, as we should do normally, but Garrent's
- 16:03Speaker 3: with us for the hour, so we'd be bringing him
- 16:05Speaker 3: back in later. So what's something come back to Garrant
- 16:08Speaker 3: later on in the show. But we're going to have
- 16:10Speaker 3: a three way conversation now if you like folks in
- 16:13Speaker 3: the Victor a good Win last week we didn't see
- 16:16Speaker 3: it because we were away. But what was that like?
- 16:18Speaker 2: I'll tell you what you've been going for years? Sevn
- 16:21Speaker 2: a go.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I mean, I can't remember that when the first time
- 16:25Speaker 1: you went over to Geral Road.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Can you remember?
- 16:28Speaker 1: Roughly oh seventies, yeah, cervently five was mine gets Romford.
- 16:32Speaker 1: But I could honestly say that first thirty minutes I
- 16:37Speaker 1: don't think I've seen anything anything like it ever. And
- 16:39Speaker 1: they were unplayable. We got a player called Daniel Thomas
- 16:43Speaker 1: who plays up front and they just couldn't get hold
- 16:46Speaker 1: of him. He was absolutely unplayable. And he scored a
- 16:50Speaker 1: goal after fifty fifty three to fifty four seconds and
- 16:55Speaker 1: the situation I had in the press box, he called
- 16:58Speaker 1: it and you could see the goalkeeper. It wasn't the
- 17:00Speaker 1: shortest of goalkeepers and it was pinpoint top left hand
- 17:05Speaker 1: corner of the net and superb goal. Great start, and
- 17:09Speaker 1: of course if folks can start well, as we've seen
- 17:12Speaker 1: this season, they go on and they can destroy teams.
- 17:15Speaker 1: And that as I say, first thirty minutes, four mill
- 17:18Speaker 1: up and we took off the pedal in the second half.
- 17:22Speaker 1: But that first half, I mean we could have been
- 17:26Speaker 1: playing Man City and I think we still were.
- 17:28Speaker 2: It was brilliant. It was brilliant.
- 17:30Speaker 1: And we go into today's game against Welling United and I'm.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Hoping for a lot more and the same thing again.
- 17:37Speaker 3: They're not doing so well.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Oh no no, My co pretender Charlie he's saying, no, no,
- 17:42Speaker 1: well they're going to get out of it. And well
- 17:44Speaker 1: they're going to get out of it. They won't get relegated.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I said, yes they will. They're going down to two
- 17:50Speaker 1: relegations in two seasons. Couldn't happen to a better team.
- 17:53Speaker 3: I remember years ago on the Welling you visit Folkston
- 17:57Speaker 3: in a friend pre season friendly. They were in the
- 17:59Speaker 3: National League else.
- 18:00Speaker 2: They were Yeah, I could pep that quite well because they're.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Their press guy was winging and whining there was no
- 18:07Speaker 1: electricity in the in the press box and he couldn't
- 18:09Speaker 1: do his commentary and these bits and pieces for well
- 18:14Speaker 1: in United and he was none too and too complimentary
- 18:18Speaker 1: about folks in the victory were.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Probably in the south in the Isham in southeast, weren't
- 18:22Speaker 3: we and they were in the nation a bigger jump. Yeah, yeah,
- 18:26Speaker 3: what did he come on?
- 18:28Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 18:29Speaker 1: Well I did say, well, you can come into the
- 18:31Speaker 1: PA box and you can use electricity from there. No, no, no,
- 18:33Speaker 1: we need to be in the halfway lot, okay, and yeah,
- 18:38Speaker 1: but I must have been when we went up there.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Today's they've they've got a pretty good set up there
- 18:42Speaker 1: and they made us very very welcome.
- 18:44Speaker 3: You must say, oh good, right, Well, I just want
- 18:48Speaker 3: to get some of this in actually some moving away
- 18:50Speaker 3: from folks in a bit hive town. Unfortunately, they lost
- 18:54Speaker 3: seven to two against Snodron last weekend and this resulted
- 18:58Speaker 3: in the sacking of Darren Beale on his team and
- 19:01Speaker 3: they bringing in another manager which we are quite.
- 19:04Speaker 4: Familiar with, very familiar, familiar.
- 19:07Speaker 3: It's ex folks that in Victor manager Andy Dreury, and
- 19:11Speaker 3: so he's going to try and see if he can
- 19:13Speaker 3: save them for relegation. So good luck to you Andy.
- 19:16Speaker 3: Today they've got on a way fixture against Hollins and
- 19:19Speaker 3: Blair who are fourteenth high, a steel bottom Stansfield a
- 19:22Speaker 3: second bottom. They both got thirteen points, but there's a
- 19:26Speaker 3: big gap now third from bottom. Chiselhurst are on twenty
- 19:29Speaker 3: one points, so it is at eight point difference. So
- 19:31Speaker 3: even if they go up to like second second from bottom,
- 19:34Speaker 3: they've got to get out of that.
- 19:36Speaker 2: They've got running out of the games.
- 19:38Speaker 3: They are running out of games. Yeah, so good luck
- 19:40Speaker 3: to you Andy Dreury.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Yeah, and that'd be interesting too. He brings in this week.
- 19:45Speaker 1: I think Jack jev On loan maybe allegedly.
- 19:51Speaker 4: Yeah, it seems a strange decision. They seem to be
- 19:54Speaker 4: throwing money at these managers. I know for a fact
- 19:58Speaker 4: that there's a few local managers that probably had done
- 20:01Speaker 4: that job and they take them down and come back
- 20:04Speaker 4: up again.
- 20:05Speaker 1: But I mean that's what it's another point. I mean,
- 20:08Speaker 1: that's what happened last year, wasn't it. They got relegated
- 20:10Speaker 1: from the Isthmian Southeast Division and thought you know, just
- 20:15Speaker 1: this season, just hold their own and get going again.
- 20:19Speaker 1: But it's not happened for them.
- 20:20Speaker 4: They've it's one of those situations. I think it's they've
- 20:25Speaker 4: gone down ill from when that relegation happened and.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Ira took over, didn't he.
- 20:30Speaker 4: Yeah, to be fair to our is a great coach,
- 20:34Speaker 4: individual one on one coach, but it's a big ask.
- 20:37Speaker 2: For course that job.
- 20:38Speaker 4: Yeah, I think if you've got someone in a bit
- 20:41Speaker 4: more experienced, they may be in a better position than
- 20:46Speaker 4: what they are now.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a shame the obviously we're we're all our
- 20:51Speaker 1: folks and caps on here, but you know, we want
- 20:53Speaker 1: to see the likes of Hive Town and you know,
- 20:56Speaker 1: Hawking and all those teams doing well, and you know,
- 20:59Speaker 1: it's it's a real, real struggle for a Hive Town
- 21:01Speaker 1: at the moment. And if you were a hometown supporter,
- 21:03Speaker 1: you were hopefully you'll have got better days coming.
- 21:08Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right. So moving on to the Energy Kent
- 21:11Speaker 3: County League, both Hawkings and New Romney their games were
- 21:16Speaker 3: postponed and I've just been told by Garrett that New
- 21:18Speaker 3: Romney game today has been postponed.
- 21:20Speaker 4: That apparently so according unless they've moved it. I don't
- 21:23Speaker 4: think they can. They obviously they sometimes use the alkaline
- 21:27Speaker 4: for their home games, but obviously in victor of being
- 21:30Speaker 4: at home today and they can't do that. Yeah.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Yeah, New Romney were at home to Alsford and they
- 21:36Speaker 3: have got two pitches up there, so they must have
- 21:38Speaker 3: both been pretty soaked up there.
- 21:39Speaker 4: I know for a fact the stadium Church Road Sunday
- 21:47Speaker 4: morning leagues off for definite.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Yeah. So in this league, actually the Energy Kent County
- 21:54Speaker 3: Premier Minster are currently top Hawkns. You're looking good in
- 21:57Speaker 3: third and even points with second place Falke and Wood,
- 22:01Speaker 3: but the Hawks have played five games more so they're
- 22:04Speaker 3: well behind. Really, New Romney are currently sixteenth and nineteen teams,
- 22:09Speaker 3: but they're nine points clear of the team below them.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Canterbury City. Well there's another story but sort of that
- 22:15Speaker 3: goes back years. Canterbury.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember them, I remember them.
- 22:19Speaker 1: I actually went to Canterbury City when Cole Gilbert was
- 22:21Speaker 1: in charge in they played in the Fake Cup first round.
- 22:24Speaker 2: I can't remember who they played, well.
- 22:25Speaker 3: I actually played. When I was playing. It was I
- 22:28Speaker 3: think it was a Kent County League. Dim Church had
- 22:31Speaker 3: two teams believed or not. Back in those days, and
- 22:33Speaker 3: we had an evening game against Canterbury City and I
- 22:37Speaker 3: think they didn't have a dog track around the outside.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, speedway as well, would they?
- 22:42Speaker 4: Yeah, I can remember seeing Pat Hillton over there for folks.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Now we're going badly.
- 22:48Speaker 1: I think it was fake cup. Actually, I think I
- 22:50Speaker 1: think I couldn't remember that one. Yeah, that would been
- 22:53Speaker 1: mid eighties.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Anyway, Just squeeze a bit more sporting bit of rugby
- 22:57Speaker 3: now before we move on and play a bit of music.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Folks on first fifteen, they're what they called this is
- 23:02Speaker 3: an interesting one. Actually they had a home walk over
- 23:06Speaker 3: where they automatically get the points due to the opposition
- 23:09Speaker 3: bottom club Vigo, not being able to field a team. However,
- 23:13Speaker 3: Vigo did turn up, but they only had thirteen men
- 23:16Speaker 3: and they officially agreed to concede the match but wanted
- 23:19Speaker 3: to play as a friendly, which folks don agreed to.
- 23:21Speaker 3: I mean the lads were probably chomping at the bit
- 23:23Speaker 3: to get a game in.
- 23:24Speaker 2: So yeah.
- 23:25Speaker 3: Anyway, folks that were leading forty five Neil at halftime,
- 23:28Speaker 3: but they took two players off, making it thirteen players each.
- 23:31Speaker 3: The final score was sixty eight points to ten, so
- 23:35Speaker 3: this win put Folks Do in first fifteen into third place,
- 23:38Speaker 3: just one point ahead of thanet Wanderers. Their game today
- 23:41Speaker 3: is the County's Cup against A Ditchlin, which is a
- 23:44Speaker 3: means a trip to Horsham. They had an early start
- 23:46Speaker 3: because they got a twelve o'clock kickoff, but the game
- 23:49Speaker 3: is being streamed live back to the Folks and Rugby Club,
- 23:52Speaker 3: which I don't remember. Folks are never doing that, so
- 23:55Speaker 3: that is the first for them. The second fifteen also
- 23:58Speaker 3: had an excellent twenty nine to fourteen away win against
- 24:01Speaker 3: Gyningermancurian's moving up to seventh place in their division. And
- 24:06Speaker 3: today they're at home to park House in the Kent Cup.
- 24:09Speaker 3: That's a two pm kickoff and the park has come
- 24:11Speaker 3: from Bromley. Now we've got six Nations coming up. The
- 24:15Speaker 3: first game in the sixth Nations series is France at
- 24:18Speaker 3: home to Ireland.
- 24:19Speaker 4: It's eighth, yes it is.
- 24:21Speaker 3: It's on Thursday, and it's a ten past eight kickoff
- 24:24Speaker 3: and it's on a Thursday because they didn't want to
- 24:27Speaker 3: clash with the Olympic opening ceremony which takes place on
- 24:32Speaker 3: the six on the Friday, So the six Nations has
- 24:37Speaker 3: never started on and a lot of people are wondering why,
- 24:40Speaker 3: but that is the reason. Thank you, good mister Google.
- 24:44Speaker 3: But now this is interesting. So we've got the Six
- 24:47Speaker 3: Nations on Thursday at ten past eight against Ireland and
- 24:51Speaker 3: folks in rugby club are putting on a special offer
- 24:54Speaker 3: and I am wondering if they've shot themselves in the
- 24:56Speaker 3: foot on this one. If you haven't heard about this one,
- 24:59Speaker 3: they are and in half pricet beer twenty minutes prior
- 25:02Speaker 3: to kickoff up until the first Troy is scored.
- 25:06Speaker 2: It'd be great if there's a two hour delay kickoff,
- 25:09Speaker 2: yeah something.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Rugby club won't be too happy, So I mean I
- 25:18Speaker 3: was going there early. I was thinking should I announce
- 25:20Speaker 3: this on the radio?
- 25:21Speaker 2: You know?
- 25:21Speaker 3: But it is on their website on big full page spreads.
- 25:24Speaker 2: So it's probably been taken down now.
- 25:29Speaker 3: So that's on Thursday, and then it continues on a Saturday,
- 25:35Speaker 3: Italy at home to Scotland ten post two kickoff and
- 25:38Speaker 3: England played the first game.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Okay, a big one against the well.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Yeah, England played Wales at Twickenham four forty kickoff, so
- 25:48Speaker 3: that should be very interesting.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Yeah, my son in law is he's Welsh and yeah,
- 25:53Speaker 1: I can't wait, running in his nose then when we
- 25:58Speaker 1: beat them?
- 25:59Speaker 3: Okay, so them.
- 26:00Speaker 1: This is definitely the Molotovs. And this one is the
- 26:03Speaker 1: title track of the new album Wasted on Youth. What's
- 26:16Speaker 1: the mutter?
- 26:17Speaker 2: Now they go the Molotovs Wasted on Youth?
- 26:37Speaker 3: Very good.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll tell it. I'm telling you they are going
- 26:40Speaker 1: to be more one to watch. Definitely, definitely one to watch. Okay.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Cricket cricket, little cricket. England played Tree Lanka last weekend
- 26:50Speaker 1: as we were on air, didn't.
- 26:52Speaker 3: They we we did finally lift it halfway through the game.
- 26:55Speaker 2: We did, yes, we did.
- 26:57Speaker 1: And we also played the second One Day International on
- 27:00Speaker 1: Tuesday and again we played obviously Sri Lanka and this
- 27:04Speaker 1: time we won both fifty three runs. So doing quite
- 27:07Speaker 1: well in Sri Lanka, but maybe.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Probably lesser opposition, yeah than it was down Under in Morale.
- 27:16Speaker 3: Boosting for the team, of course.
- 27:18Speaker 1: As good as your last win NFL down for National
- 27:23Speaker 1: Football League of American Football.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Of American football, never heard of it.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, chuck the egg.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Okay, last weekend I said to you that I thought
- 27:32Speaker 1: the New England Patriots would beat the Denver Broncos.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Little did I realize.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Though that the first half we were ten seven up
- 27:41Speaker 1: I think it was, and the snow arrived in Denver.
- 27:46Speaker 1: For those of you who don't know Denver is you
- 27:49Speaker 1: play the game in altitude, so that's if you're not
- 27:53Speaker 1: used to it, it's not too great. And then it
- 27:55Speaker 1: started snowing, and it snowed, and it's snow and it snowed.
- 28:02Speaker 1: It was so bad the snow that they had to
- 28:05Speaker 1: superimpose the lines over on.
- 28:09Speaker 2: How they do it on AI on the screen.
- 28:12Speaker 1: You could see it at home, but obviously if you
- 28:14Speaker 1: was in the stadium, you had no chance of knowing
- 28:16Speaker 1: where the ball was or how far.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Says a bit Big match revisited this does.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Yeah, it was really bad. Another teams. So we got
- 28:25Speaker 1: to the Super Bowl. We won ten to seven.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Did it was it? It was called off?
- 28:28Speaker 2: No, No, they never called the cap. No.
- 28:31Speaker 1: You see these these big six joints, seven twenty eight
- 28:37Speaker 1: stone men and that they carry on regardless. So yeah,
- 28:41Speaker 1: the Patriots beat the Broncos. And in the other game,
- 28:44Speaker 1: the NFC Championship game between the Seattle Seahawks and the
- 28:48Speaker 1: La Charger a RAM sorry, the number one seeded Seattle
- 28:55Speaker 1: Seahawks got through to the final. So a week on Sunday,
- 28:58Speaker 1: it's a Super Bowl in San Francisco, which will be
- 29:01Speaker 1: between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks. And
- 29:04Speaker 1: I can only only say that there's only going to
- 29:06Speaker 1: be one winner, and that'll be the New England Patriots.
- 29:09Speaker 3: And is this live on over here?
- 29:12Speaker 1: It's actually live on Channel five, so you can actually
- 29:15Speaker 1: watch that without having to pay t NT or Scottish
- 29:19Speaker 1: Sports whoever it is who's got the I believe I
- 29:23Speaker 1: don't know what time to kickoff offer, but I think
- 29:25Speaker 1: the show starts at about ten o'clock at night at night, yeah, right, go.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Through to early morning.
- 29:31Speaker 1: I've already got your pizzas and me bud Weiser and
- 29:33Speaker 1: me he snacks in ready for that Super Bowl.
- 29:36Speaker 3: Is there so many time zones in America alone? Isn't
- 29:39Speaker 3: there exactly?
- 29:41Speaker 2: Is it?
- 29:41Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 29:41Speaker 2: They have like different stages.
- 29:43Speaker 1: They're like six o'clock, eight o'clock, ten o'clock and then
- 29:46Speaker 1: one o'clock games on a Sunday during the regular season.
- 29:49Speaker 1: So yeah, my Sundays are a lovely Yeah.
- 29:53Speaker 3: You get a jet leg on a Monday morning.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Yeah, well, come Monday morning, and I need a match sticks,
- 30:00Speaker 1: keep my eyes open. You into American football.
- 30:03Speaker 4: Gun, It's something that I really haven't got involved with.
- 30:08Speaker 3: I haven't actually into Asian started talking about it. I
- 30:11Speaker 3: can remember them playing at the Poland the Polar ground
- 30:14Speaker 3: I played.
- 30:14Speaker 2: I played number seven.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Briefly still I got injured as always. Yeah, we always
- 30:22Speaker 1: used to be a good fun playing it. But it
- 30:24Speaker 1: is very very physical. You've got all these pads on,
- 30:27Speaker 1: but you need them when they eat you get here.
- 30:32Speaker 3: But yeah, I mean is there a big following not
- 30:34Speaker 3: a following? Is there is there any sort of structured
- 30:36Speaker 3: league in England?
- 30:37Speaker 2: There is, yeah, and it's it just started up.
- 30:40Speaker 1: I mean when I lived in Oxford, they've got a
- 30:42Speaker 1: team they called the Oxford Saints and they are a
- 30:45Speaker 1: very big team and I still you know, look out
- 30:48Speaker 1: for their results, etc. Yeah, but there is national leagues
- 30:51Speaker 1: all over the country for American football and it has
- 30:54Speaker 1: taken a little bit more of a upward step because
- 30:59Speaker 1: of you know, the continued money is being pumped into
- 31:02Speaker 1: American football. The Jacksonville Jaguars come to England every year.
- 31:08Speaker 1: We have about three or four games at Webbley and
- 31:11Speaker 1: Tottenham Stadium. So yeah, it's it is on the up,
- 31:17Speaker 1: and I don't think it's as big as it was
- 31:19Speaker 1: in the early eighties when everybody you know sort of chose,
- 31:24Speaker 1: chose a team and what have you. But yeah, i'd
- 31:27Speaker 1: like to see a team in Folkstone or fairly local.
- 31:30Speaker 1: But I don't think there is anything down here now.
- 31:33Speaker 1: I think London's nearest there is for anyone. But yeah,
- 31:39Speaker 1: good times. But if you want to watch the Super Bowl,
- 31:41Speaker 1: should I say a little bit more about that next week?
- 31:44Speaker 2: Week Sunday? Right?
- 31:46Speaker 3: Have we got anything else left on the playlist?
- 31:48Speaker 2: Okay, I've got what we got next? Guess what I've
- 31:52Speaker 2: got on the Molotovs one and this is the new
- 31:56Speaker 2: I'll say the new single. This is the current single.
- 31:59Speaker 2: This one is called. Today is going to be our day.
- 32:02Speaker 2: After word from our sponsors, the.
- 32:05Speaker 4: Sound of Folkston Radio Folkston Saturday mornings on Radio Folkestone
- 32:12Speaker 4: with Three Hills Sports Park, proudly supporting local radio and
- 32:17Speaker 4: bringing our community together through sports. Visit three Hills Sportspark dot.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Co dot uk.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Today is going to be our day a lot of
- 32:40Speaker 1: hopefully that will be folksing Victor's Day today as well.
- 32:43Speaker 3: That's right, Adrian, you're getting a bit excited there. It's
- 32:46Speaker 3: do you have a Molotov cocktail when you're own?
- 32:49Speaker 2: Don't drink?
- 32:50Speaker 3: Okay, So what I want to do is just turn
- 32:53Speaker 3: the clock back to last week Garren, And I mean
- 32:56Speaker 3: I had the job of choosing men of the match
- 32:59Speaker 3: and there, which was difficult, to be honest. I kind
- 33:04Speaker 3: of made my mind up who was going to be
- 33:06Speaker 3: in the first half, but the second half changed and
- 33:10Speaker 3: I really had a struggle on my hands. Eventually I
- 33:15Speaker 3: ordered it to Pete the goalie, So we're unpeete. Well
- 33:19Speaker 3: he paid you blinder, didn't he? Yeah right. I was
- 33:22Speaker 3: sort of joined things down. The first awesome save he
- 33:25Speaker 3: made was in the fourteenth minute before that three goal
- 33:28Speaker 3: del uge. He couldn't do much about those three goals.
- 33:30Speaker 3: But in the second half he really came.
- 33:32Speaker 4: To life, and he was unlucky really, especially with one
- 33:36Speaker 4: of them where it come back off the post and
- 33:38Speaker 4: he pushed it onto the post and it went straight
- 33:40Speaker 4: to their forward. Yeah, yeah, got anywhere.
- 33:42Speaker 3: It didn't go for him, but I mean it was
- 33:45Speaker 3: he was called on so many times and he stood
- 33:48Speaker 3: his ground. But everybody played well. I mean, I hope
- 33:53Speaker 3: the lads are listening. I'm not particularly vocal on the
- 33:56Speaker 3: side of the pitch, but I do. I suppose it's
- 33:58Speaker 3: all the years I spent inside the box where you're
- 34:00Speaker 3: just looking out through the glass. But I did enjoy
- 34:05Speaker 3: the game, and you had some outstanding players there, players
- 34:10Speaker 3: that caught my eye as much. As hard as he tried,
- 34:13Speaker 3: Victor in midfield run hisself into the ground, didn't he.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:16Speaker 4: Yeah, to be fair, he's improved so much. He's got
- 34:19Speaker 4: himself a bit fitter, and he worked really hard. He
- 34:23Speaker 4: was unlucky really.
- 34:24Speaker 3: Not to get a chance in Yeah.
- 34:26Speaker 4: Obviously I played him slightly out of position. Sometimes he
- 34:29Speaker 4: does play up front.
- 34:30Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, but you're laid up front, was it, Sonny, Sonny? Yeah,
- 34:33Speaker 3: Sonny he was. I thought he's not very he's a
- 34:37Speaker 3: bit of a lightweight. But he was so quick, wasn't he. Yeah, yeah,
- 34:40Speaker 3: he's got some speed on it, very quick.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:44Speaker 3: So I think the two guys that I had penciled
- 34:49Speaker 3: in for Man of the match, one of them was Troy,
- 34:53Speaker 3: and Troy is a very steady player. He's got a
- 34:57Speaker 3: football in brain and he looks sort of all around him.
- 35:00Speaker 3: He gets the ball, doesn't do anything too fancy, lays
- 35:04Speaker 3: it off either forward or backwards, which is what some
- 35:07Speaker 3: of your lads weren't do, and they was always looking forward.
- 35:09Speaker 3: Troy was kind of turning around and looking right around him,
- 35:12Speaker 3: probably because he's got a bit more experience. But I
- 35:15Speaker 3: was very impressed with the young fallback Harry. Now he
- 35:19Speaker 3: was up against you said to me, that's going to
- 35:20Speaker 3: be a battle that. Yeah, he was up against the
- 35:23Speaker 3: Chelsea left winger who was Did you say he was
- 35:26Speaker 3: top scorer? Yeah, And basically he didn't get sniffed to Henna.
- 35:31Speaker 4: The way we set up in the changing rooms. He
- 35:33Speaker 4: knew that that would be his job with Carle sitting
- 35:37Speaker 4: in front. Obviously Cole could come in to cover and
- 35:40Speaker 4: get him behind if he got him behind, but they
- 35:42Speaker 4: both on that side, they've both done the job.
- 35:45Speaker 3: So yeah, yeah, But I will say that Chelsea did
- 35:48Speaker 3: have three, possibly two or three really slick midfielders that
- 35:53Speaker 3: had a lot of vision and the passing was pretty
- 35:58Speaker 3: spot on, wasn't it.
- 35:59Speaker 4: Yeah, we failed to break it up really, yes, yes,
- 36:02Speaker 4: one of those last season we've beaten five two up
- 36:04Speaker 4: there and we broke them up and really we got Yeah,
- 36:07Speaker 4: we've got the attack.
- 36:08Speaker 3: So I just wanted to say that, really, lads, I
- 36:11Speaker 3: did enjoy the game immensely. It was a tough call
- 36:14Speaker 3: to pick man in the match and some of the
- 36:17Speaker 3: players that I've mentioned, and there were certainly contenders, but
- 36:21Speaker 3: I don't know, I don't know what you would have
- 36:23Speaker 3: chosen to get out? What would you just said?
- 36:25Speaker 4: I would have gone Pete Harry.
- 36:27Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a tough call.
- 36:30Speaker 4: Was a tough call on the day. As you said,
- 36:33Speaker 4: Victor beat to run himself out. As the reason I
- 36:37Speaker 4: bought myself on was because Josh was starting to struggle.
- 36:40Speaker 4: You could see him starting to tire up front a
- 36:42Speaker 4: little bit.
- 36:44Speaker 3: Okay, So yeah, thanks lads, thanks for enjoyable day and
- 36:47Speaker 3: ipe you tuned in and listening to the Sports Ferry
- 36:50Speaker 3: report on the game last week, but quickly moving to
- 36:53Speaker 3: some more interesting footballers going on today. It's the FA Trophy, yeah,
- 36:58Speaker 3: and the team that all three of us know very well.
- 37:01Speaker 3: I remember they came down a few years ago when
- 37:03Speaker 3: they were in the Southeast Counties or something and they
- 37:06Speaker 3: whipped folks and it was a wake up call.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Was it three nil? We were awful and they've.
- 37:12Speaker 3: Really gone from strength for strength and that's Chatham Town,
- 37:16Speaker 3: which today their reward for progressing soundly through the seasons.
- 37:24Speaker 3: Is they've got a tea a game in the Trophy
- 37:27Speaker 3: against the team that Adrian will know very well, South
- 37:30Speaker 3: End Unity.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Yeah, we played them in the fourth qualifying round of
- 37:32Speaker 1: the FA Cup this season and lost for one up
- 37:35Speaker 1: at Roots Hall at South End. But today they travel
- 37:39Speaker 1: in the fifth round of the FA Trophy, which is
- 37:41Speaker 1: the last sixteen and they traveled to Chathamtown and that
- 37:45Speaker 1: is not going to be an easy game. We know ourselves,
- 37:48Speaker 1: don't we do. Chatham They've got a good, good home
- 37:52Speaker 1: support there and they've lost one game all season at home.
- 37:55Speaker 4: They've also just made a big signing as well.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Oh yeah, they signed our next premier yea Ranger.
- 38:00Speaker 1: So yeah, I mean, good luck to Chattamtown. I mean
- 38:03Speaker 1: they are they're still chasing folksing in Victor, but we
- 38:07Speaker 1: need to get some points today on the boardy it's
- 38:09Speaker 1: Wedding United and.
- 38:11Speaker 4: It'd be nice to chat them to go on further
- 38:13Speaker 4: in that. That would benefit folks as well as.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Well as I'll tell you what. That's my tip for
- 38:18Speaker 2: the shock of the round. There is a few other
- 38:21Speaker 2: games in there.
- 38:22Speaker 1: I was saying, O, they are mostly Northern clubs, so
- 38:25Speaker 1: we'd like chatting to get through other good ties. Scun
- 38:29Speaker 1: thought playing our old, our old nemesis, old Horseham Town.
- 38:34Speaker 1: That would be a good game for Horsham draveling the
- 38:36Speaker 1: way up to Scunthorpe for that one. Good luck to
- 38:38Speaker 1: them and if folks have got through.
- 38:41Speaker 2: We obviously we got not to out.
- 38:43Speaker 1: We would have been Woking today and they are Tigers
- 38:45Speaker 1: Walton and Hersham. That's I think they're the lowest ranked
- 38:48Speaker 1: team in the competition still.
- 38:50Speaker 3: Right, And before we move on, I just want to
- 38:52Speaker 3: say a good luck it's next week they're playing. But
- 38:54Speaker 3: Whitsta Ball. We've got a little soft spot for whist
- 38:57Speaker 3: Wall as we know that Ellis and them physio. They
- 39:01Speaker 3: are playing in the FA Bars next week against a
- 39:04Speaker 3: team called cock Fosters. Nowadays these we don't know much
- 39:08Speaker 3: about the opposition unless they are in the same league,
- 39:11Speaker 3: so it's kind of even Stevens now. It could go
- 39:14Speaker 3: either way. But wish Whitsterball all the best.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Good luck to Whitchbol.
- 39:18Speaker 1: Hopefully we'll be back at we Webley again, Wembley again
- 39:21Speaker 1: to see Allison co and hopefully Whitcha Ball retain the
- 39:26Speaker 1: FA Varsa. Anyway, we're running running out of time. As always,
- 39:30Speaker 1: Next Saturday's go a little bit of a special show
- 39:33Speaker 1: in it. Yes, everybody coming in next.
- 39:36Speaker 3: Week the community show. If you want to pop in.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Yeah, pop in, come and see us. If you are coming,
- 39:40Speaker 2: make sure you bring me a bacon roll.
- 39:42Speaker 3: You don't have to talk, but it'd be nice to
