Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on relatables.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Everything a man does is manly facts, you know.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm a man of my own right, Jake, I
- 0:24Speaker 3: am now a conspiracist, A conspiracist. Yeah, I feel like
- 0:28Speaker 3: you've got to say it with a conspiracists not a word.
- 0:33Speaker 3: I'm just emphasizing the that's what I'm trying to do. Conspiracist.
- 0:37Speaker 1: It's conspiracist a word. Surely I've got a conspiracy theory.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Okay, that's what I was going to say. But I'm like,
- 0:44Speaker 3: what could make it sound cool. I'm a conspiracist. That's
- 0:47Speaker 3: going to be now with confidence it sounds good. Yeah,
- 0:51Speaker 3: I'm a conspiracist and I feel like this is relatable.
- 0:53Speaker 3: So I'm going to use an Australian example, but you
- 0:56Speaker 3: can take this I assume into like most major cities. Okay,
- 0:59Speaker 3: everyone uses Google Maps these days. Yes, I reckon. The
- 1:04Speaker 3: Australian government pays Google and Apple Maps actually to make
- 1:10Speaker 3: you drive on toll roads. Oh really, I reckon. That's
- 1:13Speaker 3: my conspiracy theory. So, yes, they're driving through Sydney. Driving
- 1:16Speaker 3: home is an hour and a half. I had like
- 1:17Speaker 3: an hour and like twenty eight minutes and I decided
- 1:20Speaker 3: I wanted to go to McDonald's. So I'm like, I
- 1:22Speaker 3: won't take the toll road and I'll go on Pennet
- 1:24Speaker 3: Hills Road.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Some people in Australia will know.
- 1:25Speaker 1: What that means.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Yeah, turned off. Yeah, didn't add a single minute, can I?
- 1:30Speaker 3: And I was like, and then that toll road is
- 1:32Speaker 3: like twenty two dollars that he wanted me to go
- 1:34Speaker 3: on the North Connect I always go on.
- 1:36Speaker 1: And I was like, you, motherfucker, can I debunk your
- 1:40Speaker 1: theory straight away? What when you go on on both
- 1:45Speaker 1: Apple Maps and the Google Maps, all you have to
- 1:47Speaker 1: do is just like scroll down or click on tab
- 1:50Speaker 1: or something like that and just click avoid tolls.
- 1:52Speaker 3: No, no, no, but mine set to fastest route all the time.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Oh yeah yeah yeah. Okay, So even what you're saying
- 1:58Speaker 1: is even if both routes take an hour and thirty.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Minutes, yeah, you think you'd give me a free one.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You'd think that's okay, that's fair.
- 2:07Speaker 3: I feel like the government's doing something that it automatically
- 2:09Speaker 3: recommends the paid route.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Okay, I see, I see said mar McDonald's been a
- 2:14Speaker 1: bit of a fatty house motherfuckers, you know what I think?
- 2:19Speaker 1: So yesterday I drove in the city in Sydney, yeah,
- 2:23Speaker 1: or not the city city, but like it's surrounding in
- 2:25Speaker 1: the western suburbs, which is also quite busy, right. And
- 2:29Speaker 1: so I used to live in Dromoine and I was
- 2:31Speaker 1: going through Dremoine and it's always got traffic anytime of day,
- 2:34Speaker 1: any day of week, just because it goes like a
- 2:37Speaker 1: bunch of streets from other suburbs feed into this one. Yeah.
- 2:41Speaker 1: And I went home that way, and I was busy,
- 2:43Speaker 1: and it's always busy, right, And they just like when
- 2:45Speaker 1: they first Dromoid's old, so when they first built it,
- 2:47Speaker 1: they didn't make enough lanes and always bottle next there.
- 2:51Speaker 1: And so I was driving and I know a way
- 2:53Speaker 1: where like you go you get stuck in like one
- 2:55Speaker 1: hundred minutes of traffic, and then you turn left and
- 2:57Speaker 1: you just go along a street that's quite housing street,
- 3:01Speaker 1: residential street, whatever, and then you come back out and
- 3:04Speaker 1: skip it all. And so I know that way, and
- 3:06Speaker 1: yesterday I didn't think it'd be much traffic because it
- 3:08Speaker 1: was like nine to thirty am on a fucking school
- 3:11Speaker 1: holiday day. Yeah, And so I go through and there
- 3:13Speaker 1: was a bit of traffic, and I was thinking, like
- 3:15Speaker 1: I know for a fact, I could have shaved like
- 3:17Speaker 1: three or four minutes off my trip, but Apple Maps
- 3:20Speaker 1: didn't suggest it. I have a conspiracy theory that Apple
- 3:24Speaker 1: and Google don't suggest the actual quickest route, right. I
- 3:29Speaker 1: know sometimes they suggest it and you can say no,
- 3:31Speaker 1: yes or no, but I think that they do it
- 3:33Speaker 1: because they don't want to clog up the residential roads. Oh.
- 3:36Speaker 3: I like your conspiracy theory because I was like, you
- 3:39Speaker 3: can be a conspiracist too. Yeah, no, no, I agree conspiracy.
- 3:43Speaker 3: I reckon they literally I reckon there's no logic behind
- 3:46Speaker 3: either of them. May being financially and the quickest route,
- 3:50Speaker 3: they just go fucking here go mate.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Yeah, let's be real. It's probably like most of the
- 3:54Speaker 1: time toll roads are privately owned, so it's probably Google,
- 3:57Speaker 1: the big company. I also like, what the fuck's with that?
- 4:01Speaker 1: Actually question?
- 4:03Speaker 4: Why are toll roads privately owned by big horn?
- 4:08Speaker 1: Right?
- 4:08Speaker 3: Like, if there's one thing the Australian government should own,
- 4:13Speaker 3: it's the roads full stop.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Like, no questions are I don't know if he's built it.
- 4:19Speaker 1: You earned that ship. I actually agree with you.
- 4:23Speaker 3: They get it back after like thirty years or some
- 4:25Speaker 3: bullshit after the government after Sorry, the people who own it.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Make like one hundred million dollars. I don't even want
- 4:31Speaker 1: to know out of my pocket. I don't want to
- 4:33Speaker 1: know how much the company, like some the government probably
- 4:35Speaker 1: owns some to roads. I don't know. I don't want
- 4:36Speaker 1: to know how much the toll roads actually rake in
- 4:41Speaker 1: I do actually I don't. I genuinely don't make me
- 4:43Speaker 1: feel It would make me feel bad.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Yeah, but like everyone's in the same position, so I'd
- 4:47Speaker 3: be like, fucking get that get that dog before.
- 4:50Speaker 1: We move on. I have a question about, like, is
- 4:54Speaker 1: there ever going to be a point where the the
- 5:00Speaker 1: wider population or whatever just rises up and says we've
- 5:05Speaker 1: had enough. I don't know.
- 5:07Speaker 3: I'm with you because like the things that should be
- 5:10Speaker 3: free in life is leaving your house and driving anywhere
- 5:13Speaker 3: and parking. Actually, like, what do you mean, like you
- 5:17Speaker 3: have to pay per hour to go park and go
- 5:19Speaker 3: for a swim at the beach. It's the fucking beach.
- 5:21Speaker 1: It's always been that. I'm telling you, A secluded life
- 5:23Speaker 1: on a big block of land. It's just it's getting
- 5:26Speaker 1: more and more appealing to me.
- 5:28Speaker 3: I've always enjoyed the choir, but I don't think they
- 5:30Speaker 3: could ever be in I don't want to say never,
- 5:31Speaker 3: but I don't think they could be an uprising. And
- 5:33Speaker 3: we're also like, no, we're lucky as well. We're in
- 5:35Speaker 3: a lucky position. It's just like, it just feels like
- 5:38Speaker 3: you're getting fucked in the bum. Not that I know
- 5:41Speaker 3: what that feels like, but that if I did know,
- 5:44Speaker 3: I think you'd feel like this.
- 5:48Speaker 1: The aftermath. I feel the same. Yeah, I think it would.
- 5:51Speaker 3: The Relatables podcast is hosted by myself, Addie Clark AKA
- 5:55Speaker 3: and my partner in crime, mister Jake Craig ak daddy.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Yes, and haven't said it in a minute. Everyone listening.
- 6:01Speaker 1: You guys are the baddies because you're bad to the bone. Yes,
- 6:04Speaker 1: correct to the bone. I actually have a question, and
- 6:10Speaker 1: this is for all the baddies. Oh now I don't.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I don't know if there needs to be some sort
- 6:16Speaker 1: of punishment for Addie.
- 6:19Speaker 3: I've been fucking killing it.
- 6:21Speaker 1: So Audie got me sick as a dog.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I told you not to kiss me. I was like,
- 6:30Speaker 3: I'm sick, I'm sick, and you're like, oh, you're fucking.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Irresistible, and so give me a peck or do you
- 6:36Speaker 1: get sick? Fine? This guy goes and he gets gets
- 6:40Speaker 1: all your responsible and he gets sick, and then he
- 6:42Speaker 1: gets me sick, and id you it wasn't fun.
- 6:49Speaker 3: I also got Jack's girlfriend sick.
- 6:51Speaker 1: She got sick.
- 6:52Speaker 3: You guys can connect the dots. She got sick first,
- 6:57Speaker 3: honestly out of my control.
- 6:59Speaker 1: But I do feel bad. It is what it is.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Is it not my fault.
- 7:04Speaker 3: You guys don't have an immune system better than mine.
- 7:07Speaker 1: No. I was like, really, I was praying. I thought
- 7:10Speaker 1: you were going to be fine. I also thought I
- 7:12Speaker 1: was gonna be fine. I was so Oddie did a big,
- 7:15Speaker 1: like I'm like a twenty seven kilometer run like two
- 7:18Speaker 1: days before. He gets sick, and so I thought that
- 7:21Speaker 1: his body was just run down and he just like
- 7:23Speaker 1: couldn't handle everything, and so he got sick. I was
- 7:26Speaker 1: praying that was the case. Obviously, wasn't. I just got
- 7:29Speaker 1: an actual. I was staying at Jake's house.
- 7:31Speaker 3: That was hard because I was like showering in his
- 7:32Speaker 3: bathroom and ship yeah together.
- 7:35Speaker 1: And then we were.
- 7:40Speaker 3: I was also I was also being like really cautiouses
- 7:43Speaker 3: of like washing my hands when I was touching. I
- 7:45Speaker 3: was always washing my hands, like not just like blow
- 7:48Speaker 3: on my nose.
- 7:49Speaker 1: And then last year and you use my car and.
- 7:52Speaker 3: You Glenn twenty Yeah, I was trying to be a
- 7:54Speaker 3: good bloke because I was the first time I got sick.
- 7:56Speaker 3: I got Beth really sick, so I was like, I
- 7:57Speaker 3: can't do it again. I don't care about you, but
- 7:59Speaker 3: like your girlfriend, I was like, fucking feel.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Bad, may I. I don't even what? Tell me what's
- 8:05Speaker 1: a telltale sign that you're getting sick? Because I have
- 8:09Speaker 1: a few. I know, I know when I'm when I'm
- 8:12Speaker 1: done for that's a good question.
- 8:13Speaker 3: So I always mistaken it as hey fever to start
- 8:17Speaker 3: right back of my throat gets a little tickle okay,
- 8:19Speaker 3: and then my eyes start to get a little.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Bit itchy okay, itchy, yes, stand.
- 8:23Speaker 3: A little bit bloodshot, and like I'm thinking, come on,
- 8:25Speaker 3: hete because I get hay fever quite frequently, and then
- 8:29Speaker 3: my nose goes.
- 8:29Speaker 1: The next day, I'm like, fuck you, yeah, okay. So Beth,
- 8:32Speaker 1: she every single time she gets sick, Bethany's my girlfriend.
- 8:36Speaker 1: If there's any new listeners here, she always, without fail,
- 8:41Speaker 1: starts with the sore throat, She does the gargle, she
- 8:43Speaker 1: does everything, and then everything else comes on for her.
- 8:46Speaker 1: For me, I don't okay, so basically you and I
- 8:50Speaker 1: recorded an episode virtually right, and I was I was
- 8:56Speaker 1: at like, I was so fine. I think I remember
- 8:58Speaker 1: seeing you that day. I was like in my head
- 9:00Speaker 1: and I was like, oh, I think I'm about like
- 9:01Speaker 1: ten percent sick, and I think I'm just in my
- 9:03Speaker 1: head blah blah blah. Yeah. And so I get home
- 9:05Speaker 1: from that and I and it just very slowly, like
- 9:09Speaker 1: not even slow. Just by the end of the day,
- 9:11Speaker 1: I was sick, right, It's just like going up. And
- 9:13Speaker 1: so I was getting a little bit of like a
- 9:15Speaker 1: I just had to just keep going like and like
- 9:18Speaker 1: that to me, isn't saying I'm going to get sick, right,
- 9:20Speaker 1: And then I got home and I know that I
- 9:23Speaker 1: am out for the count. Once one of my eyes waters, oh,
- 9:27Speaker 1: I always, always, always when I have a cold, have
- 9:31Speaker 1: a watery eye. Yeah. And then one of my nostrils
- 9:35Speaker 1: is always feeling like it's going to sneeze, and I
- 9:37Speaker 1: can never get the sneeze out. And then I just
- 9:39Speaker 1: now I'm done for and I'm like I need to
- 9:41Speaker 1: fucking sleep. Dig my grave.
- 9:44Speaker 3: I honestly think it was a mindset thing for me
- 9:47Speaker 3: really about a week prior I had the thought fuck,
- 9:50Speaker 3: I've mid sick in a while, and I was like,
- 9:53Speaker 3: when I was sick, I was like, I shouldn't have
- 9:55Speaker 3: thought that. I fucking put it in the world and
- 9:57Speaker 3: the world gave it to me. The glass half full
- 10:00Speaker 3: is what we like to be on the podcast. We're
- 10:02Speaker 3: about to go on holidays.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Yeah, we got sick before it, and I.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Was thinking, I was like, ideally, like, because I don't
- 10:06Speaker 3: know if this is factual, but I always feel like
- 10:08Speaker 3: it is. After being sick, your immune system is on
- 10:11Speaker 3: high alert, so you're less susceptible to being sick. Oh yeah,
- 10:14Speaker 3: I don't know if that's factual. Let's call up our
- 10:16Speaker 3: new best friend, Alexis Fernandez.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, shit, I'm thinking about to say, Luke Bates
- 10:21Speaker 1: and we got we got new friends. We're old friend group.
- 10:24Speaker 3: She's neuroscience. Is that No, that's doctor neuroscience.
- 10:28Speaker 1: I don't know if.
- 10:29Speaker 3: She's smart en us anyway, she would she would definitely
- 10:31Speaker 3: have a better idea than we got.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Lucy. No, I tell you, I haven't.
- 10:40Speaker 3: This isn't from any scientific papers that I've read recently,
- 10:44Speaker 3: but from my opinion, I think that's factual.
- 10:50Speaker 1: You know. Okay, So I was on the phone to
- 10:53Speaker 1: my mum the other day, and so as the bad
- 10:55Speaker 1: is no Near the start of the year, I went
- 10:59Speaker 1: through a bit of a pro as of trying to
- 11:00Speaker 1: really figure out what what is wrong with my stomach.
- 11:04Speaker 3: I didn't think you're gonna say stomach. Then we think
- 11:08Speaker 3: we're gonna ask my brain, is wrong with your stomach?
- 11:13Speaker 3: I remember the journey, So my stomach.
- 11:15Speaker 1: And then what all? The only answer I have so far,
- 11:19Speaker 1: and I'm just not happy with it, is that I'm
- 11:21Speaker 1: lactose intolerant. You're not happy with it. I thought that
- 11:23Speaker 1: was a win, like it was a win at the time,
- 11:25Speaker 1: but like you had Yoki with this the other day.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Oh yeah, So like because I'm lactose intolerant, if I
- 11:30Speaker 1: want to just like, if I know, like the next
- 11:32Speaker 1: day or something like that, I've got a chill day
- 11:34Speaker 1: where I can be near a toilet, then I I
- 11:36Speaker 1: just like have whatever I want. But I just like,
- 11:39Speaker 1: for my own life, I've been in lactose intolerant other
- 11:41Speaker 1: than that, and so I am now no longer happy
- 11:45Speaker 1: with my finger. I believe that I'm lactose in tolerant.
- 11:48Speaker 1: I do believe it, but I am gonna see a
- 11:51Speaker 1: natural path right, they're expensive. So it is twelve hundred
- 11:55Speaker 1: dollars for a six month regime. I get all these
- 11:59Speaker 1: things with the six month regimes actually pretty sick. I'm
- 12:01Speaker 1: going to do it when I get home from Canada.
- 12:03Speaker 1: So put on the business true, just talk about it
- 12:06Speaker 1: each week each month He's done, Ato, mate, done, I
- 12:10Speaker 1: will send you this clip ato. And so I was
- 12:13Speaker 1: on the front of my mum the other day and
- 12:14Speaker 1: I'm telling I'm talking to her about it whatever, and
- 12:16Speaker 1: then she goes, yeah, natchur PA's a good idea. You know,
- 12:19Speaker 1: they'll hopefully do like give a shit. And so then
- 12:23Speaker 1: she says, have you ever been tested for like a
- 12:27Speaker 1: parasite or anything like that? And I was like, you
- 12:28Speaker 1: know what. Cassie Otdie's girlfriend, she was going through everything
- 12:33Speaker 1: I was going through, and it like she she thought
- 12:36Speaker 1: she was Glinton free, she thought he was this that,
- 12:38Speaker 1: and then she finally found out she has a parasite
- 12:41Speaker 1: and she had to do this like riggories anyway, like
- 12:44Speaker 1: ruined her gut lining or whatever, and she had to
- 12:45Speaker 1: rebuild her stomach. Yeah, and my mom goes, yeah, fuck that.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Have you ever taken iv mechtin? Do you know what?
- 12:52Speaker 1: That is, so I haven't mectin. It's a very old medication,
- 12:56Speaker 1: but I only heard about it through when COVID was around,
- 12:59Speaker 1: and all these headlines came out. So Joe Rogan got
- 13:02Speaker 1: covid and he took ivermectin and it helped, and all
- 13:05Speaker 1: these headlines were like, Joe Rogan takes horse medicine.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Oh, I do remember covid?
- 13:11Speaker 1: Is that what it is? Imectin is it's mainly used
- 13:15Speaker 1: now I believe in like farm animals, okay. And what
- 13:18Speaker 1: it does is it just kills like parasites and like
- 13:23Speaker 1: a bunch of shit. And so my mum reckons that
- 13:27Speaker 1: over in Canada, she's got the whole family to have
- 13:29Speaker 1: ivermectin twice.
- 13:30Speaker 3: Is it illegal in Australia.
- 13:32Speaker 1: No, no, you can get it over the counter. The
- 13:34Speaker 1: prescription you would you need to get be prescribed it.
- 13:37Speaker 1: But so she reckons basically when I go to Canada,
- 13:39Speaker 1: because you can get it. You can just buy ivermectin
- 13:41Speaker 1: in Canada, which is my mom is Canada the same
- 13:45Speaker 1: as the US, pretty similar. Can you buy steroids over
- 13:48Speaker 1: the canta too? No, no, no you can't, but you
- 13:50Speaker 1: can buy heaps acting shit over the counter. Like we can't.
- 13:52Speaker 1: It's really annoying anyway. Basically, when I go to Canada baddies,
- 13:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna do a bit of vibemectin and see if
- 13:59Speaker 1: it kills a parent. Iagine that fixes yeah, could you imagine?
- 14:02Speaker 3: But it's been your whole life, that's what he's Okay,
- 14:04Speaker 3: But here's what I want the live forever.
- 14:06Speaker 1: So it is my whole life. Right, I've had like
- 14:08Speaker 1: some issues my whole life, but I genuinely, genuinely believe
- 14:12Speaker 1: my stomach issues have gotten worse ever since I was
- 14:15Speaker 1: like twenty two onwards. It's like really started to get
- 14:21Speaker 1: to a point where I've noticed, like it's getting bad. Yeah, right,
- 14:25Speaker 1: and I went to I went to Bali when I
- 14:28Speaker 1: was nineteen. Yeah, I went to Bali when I was
- 14:31Speaker 1: twenty three, and I went to Bali again last year.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I'm thinking, like, could be that. Imagine if I got
- 14:36Speaker 1: a fucking parasite Bali and just no one's tested me
- 14:39Speaker 1: for a parasite round two.
- 14:40Speaker 3: You did get sick twice.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I know I've had balib twice. Okay, you should do
- 14:45Speaker 1: a parasite.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Cleanse and as well as that, and it's like so
- 14:49Speaker 3: you can shit out the parasites and it's like it's
- 14:54Speaker 3: not like tongueiali, but it's like some of those herbs
- 14:56Speaker 3: and spices make it like flushes everything, but like it
- 15:00Speaker 3: takes everything with it. Yeah, then you can actually physically see.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Imagine if you shout out a full parasite that's like
- 15:06Speaker 3: the length of like a thirty centimeter ruler, and then
- 15:11Speaker 3: you know.
- 15:11Speaker 1: What's going on. You're feeling that coming out of me.
- 15:13Speaker 3: I don't think you can feel it because it's like
- 15:15Speaker 3: it's like not microscopic, but it's so skinny.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Was dead at that point?
- 15:19Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I think that. Oh I actually don't know.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Maybe if it hits oxygen it's dead. Yeah, but that's
- 15:24Speaker 3: that's what you look up on TikTok his parasite cleanses
- 15:26Speaker 3: and it's like there's certain food groups to like kale
- 15:29Speaker 3: and other stuff and like sesame seeds and you do
- 15:32Speaker 3: that for like six weeks with it and then it
- 15:34Speaker 3: will flush out your system.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Good help. It's actually meant to be good for like
- 15:38Speaker 1: just like just gut health. It's actually also having dogs
- 15:43Speaker 1: could give me a parasite. Yeah, honestly, fucking fair. I
- 15:48Speaker 1: had a tick near my dick the other day what's
- 15:51Speaker 1: with you and death? And he's had a tick near her?
- 15:53Speaker 1: Who he who ha? And then I had a tick.
- 15:56Speaker 1: It was it was on my thought. To be fair,
- 15:58Speaker 1: it was pretty high up. I had a tick on
- 15:59Speaker 1: me the other day. Bro, how'd you get it off?
- 16:01Speaker 1: I mean, best?
- 16:02Speaker 3: Where have you been fucking going around?
- 16:04Speaker 1: You were bath?
- 16:04Speaker 2: We just go.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Maked or something?
- 16:08Speaker 1: Yeah, what's them crawling up? I think they go for
- 16:11Speaker 1: like the hot spots. Yeah, it would be warm in there. Yeah.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I couldn't believe it. I was on the toilet and
- 16:18Speaker 1: I and I looked down and I was like, oh,
- 16:20Speaker 1: did you just pull it off? Or you asked it off?
- 16:22Speaker 1: Pulled it off? It's really bada.
- 16:24Speaker 3: You can get like fucking like lifelong problems like getting
- 16:27Speaker 3: allergic to meet and stuff and pulling them off.
- 16:29Speaker 1: If I became allergic to me, yeah, like crazy.
- 16:32Speaker 3: But I just get them a lot as a kid
- 16:33Speaker 3: because dad us to own a farm and they're fucking
- 16:34Speaker 3: little cunts those things.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Yeah, brot Yeah, anyway.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Question Yeah, that's two ig Question of the week. I'm
- 16:41Speaker 3: came for this one actually, yes, Bruce Goo. So the
- 16:44Speaker 3: question is what can you say to test your man
- 16:48Speaker 3: and we've done something a little bit different. We've actually
- 16:50Speaker 3: asked our TikTok and Instagram audience. I've got TikTok, Jake's
- 16:54Speaker 3: got I G and I thought we could try.
- 16:56Speaker 1: And answer them as well.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Yeah all right, so let me go first. What can
- 17:01Speaker 3: you say to try and test your man? Hear me out,
- 17:04Speaker 3: look at him, confused, say nothing. When he asked what,
- 17:07Speaker 3: say no, it's okay, rent free always ladies.
- 17:12Speaker 1: No, No, I wouldn't if they affect did that to me,
- 17:15Speaker 1: I would just be like, okay, oh really yeah.
- 17:17Speaker 3: I would just be like if she's like looking you,
- 17:19Speaker 3: like up and down, like in like judging my outfit,
- 17:22Speaker 3: like it's disgusted, and you're like fucking what and she's like,
- 17:25Speaker 3: oh wait a second, No, that'd probably.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Affect me so right. You'd be like you would you
- 17:30Speaker 1: say what now? I feel like I feel like no, no, no, yeah,
- 17:34Speaker 1: what the you fucking mean? Yeah? Jesus, I'd probably get
- 17:39Speaker 1: all offended. I'd probably like go all toxic on her
- 17:41Speaker 1: and ship. I'd probably think she's like looking at my
- 17:43Speaker 1: outfit and thinking I'm looking back changing that. I'd probably
- 17:46Speaker 1: i'd probably go on toxic on toxicuto I'd be like,
- 17:48Speaker 1: what you're wearing, so man can today?
- 17:52Speaker 2: All right?
- 17:54Speaker 1: How to test your man? Ask him to order you
- 17:57Speaker 1: a coffee and see if he gets the order?
- 17:58Speaker 3: Right, Oh, that's the act, so good tests.
- 18:01Speaker 1: I'd be last day. Really.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Yeah, because I don't drink coffee, I sometimes like.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Because you don't drink coffee doesn't mean you shouldn't know
- 18:08Speaker 1: you go.
- 18:08Speaker 3: No, I know that's a valid point, but I sometimes like,
- 18:10Speaker 3: look at barristas and I think that's a skill because
- 18:13Speaker 3: I don't Actually I don't know even I couldn't tell
- 18:15Speaker 3: you what my girlfriend's coffee order is and I couldn't
- 18:17Speaker 3: make one.
- 18:18Speaker 1: No, no, no. Being a bristo is a skilleh respect to barristas,
- 18:21Speaker 1: especially in Australia because there's so many of them.
- 18:23Speaker 3: And people are like fucking die hard coffee fans in ods.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we're so pretentious about it. I know that's ready.
- 18:29Speaker 1: So Beth will either get an iced coffee or hot coffee.
- 18:32Speaker 1: If it's a hot coffee, it's an oat flat white
- 18:36Speaker 1: with anywhere between two to four equals, which is sweetness.
- 18:41Speaker 1: You like that shit sweet?
- 18:43Speaker 3: And if she gets she drinks like fucking straight syrup.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Cordy or Bros. Iced coffee is skim iced latte with
- 18:54Speaker 1: Sometimes you'll go no equal or just one equal or
- 18:58Speaker 1: two like you could get her ready amount of equals
- 19:00Speaker 1: and you'll drink it, but extra ice.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Okay, if you didn't know that, I wouldn't say you're
- 19:05Speaker 3: a bad boyfriend. I'm pretty sure is this a coffee
- 19:10Speaker 3: vanilla ice lato?
- 19:12Speaker 1: I think that's it? Oh simple?
- 19:15Speaker 3: What can you say to test your man?
- 19:17Speaker 1: I like this one.
- 19:18Speaker 3: I consistently say Star Trek when he talks about Star Wars.
- 19:23Speaker 3: I say, oh, you mean Star Trek.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Nah, that would send me.
- 19:30Speaker 3: I'll be like, I know which one I'm talking about.
- 19:34Speaker 3: To be fair, that I would piss me off my brain.
- 19:36Speaker 3: I don't think it would actually make me angry, because
- 19:38Speaker 3: my brain does mix them up your mind.
- 19:41Speaker 1: You don't like I watched both? Like I don't like
- 19:43Speaker 1: Star Trek. I don't know why I don't like that.
- 19:45Speaker 3: It's so good Jane Waye, Jonathan Archer.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Fuck, it's good. Not the movie.
- 19:49Speaker 3: The movie is a mid but the TV series they're
- 19:51Speaker 3: fucking great.
- 19:52Speaker 1: No, I don't know. I don't. I just think if
- 19:55Speaker 1: I'm watching a sci fi show, yeah, like a sci
- 19:59Speaker 1: fi action movie like Star Wars Attactic because I find
- 20:03Speaker 1: they actually have a lot of a lot of really
- 20:05Speaker 1: good just sick fighting scenes. But Star Trek, I'm sorry,
- 20:10Speaker 1: Star Trek. I don't what even is it? Because I
- 20:14Speaker 1: think of Star Trek and gloring Space like bro, I'm
- 20:18Speaker 1: not going to Iron cultures. When people talking about Star Trek,
- 20:21Speaker 1: I'm like, that's pretty Cordya.
- 20:22Speaker 3: No, the new the newest season sucks, that's corny. But
- 20:26Speaker 3: go back to the the very first one, John lu
- 20:28Speaker 3: Picard Ship, don't watch that, But that was like before,
- 20:31Speaker 3: like TV was like color in that Captain Janeway and
- 20:36Speaker 3: Jonathan Archer. You'd like Jonathan Archer. It's they save the
- 20:38Speaker 3: fucking world from being exploded by aliens because Alien's got
- 20:43Speaker 3: false it's actually really good false like a false pretense
- 20:47Speaker 3: that humans did it, but it actually wasn't a human
- 20:49Speaker 3: race or someone else trying to infiltrate the humans.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Maybe I'll watch it, Probably not okay? How to test
- 20:55Speaker 1: your man? Do you love me because I'm pretty? Or
- 20:58Speaker 1: am I pretty because you love me? Say it again?
- 21:04Speaker 1: Do you love me because I'm pretty? Or am I
- 21:05Speaker 1: pretty because you love me? Neither? Yeah, I was gonna
- 21:08Speaker 1: say neither, Yeah, neither.
- 21:09Speaker 3: You're not pretty?
- 21:14Speaker 1: Who said.
- 21:16Speaker 3: Don't do the conclusions to be fair?
- 21:19Speaker 1: If you're getting asked to testing questions, you may as
- 21:22Speaker 1: well just fucking fail. Go down throwing a Now that
- 21:27Speaker 1: one would get me for sure.
- 21:29Speaker 3: All right, this one. If he's trying to talk to you,
- 21:32Speaker 3: clean up some things around the house, but go on
- 21:34Speaker 3: a circle around him, just keep going in circles, classic
- 21:38Speaker 3: rage bait. Trying to have a conversation with you, just
- 21:41Speaker 3: keep walking around in circles cleaning.
- 21:43Speaker 1: You know what, I'd piss me off. I think I
- 21:45Speaker 1: do this to Beth sometimes really and not on purpose, No,
- 21:50Speaker 1: not not really on purpose. I'm just like, oh this
- 21:52Speaker 1: is this is stressing me out. I've got a tidy
- 21:54Speaker 1: this up.
- 21:55Speaker 3: I remember when me and Caussie first started talking, my
- 21:58Speaker 3: first time, and quite frequently. I would always like sit
- 22:01Speaker 3: down and talk to her, but she would like do
- 22:04Speaker 3: random shit, just like fold her clothes or like really
- 22:07Speaker 3: just like be like I don't know what, clean the kitchen,
- 22:10Speaker 3: and I'm like.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Fuck, just sit down. I was like your attention. I
- 22:13Speaker 1: was like, you stressing me out a bit? You know what?
- 22:16Speaker 1: That wasn't doing it on purpose actually, or she was
- 22:18Speaker 1: just doing shit.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Yeah, she's just doing it. I know that's what she
- 22:20Speaker 3: always does.
- 22:20Speaker 1: That's a big pacer. Yeah, sometimes I past on the phone.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Sometimes I can sit down.
- 22:24Speaker 3: I only I sit down if I'm my home, but
- 22:26Speaker 3: if I'm my out our pace, because I get those
- 22:28Speaker 3: steps into that.
- 22:29Speaker 1: True, that's a fair point. How to test your man?
- 22:32Speaker 1: Say to him, you really think I wouldn't find out? Oh,
- 22:36Speaker 1: leave it up to the world. I got a couple
- 22:38Speaker 1: of that are similar to this one. Say I got
- 22:40Speaker 1: an interesting message today.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Oh, these are all like open tor interpretation.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Oh, that's pretty much of it for those times I've
- 22:50Speaker 1: got one. This one simple.
- 22:53Speaker 3: So another man's name is so handy? No, imagine if
- 22:58Speaker 3: Beth goes I throw at yours? Fuck, what are you
- 23:01Speaker 3: so handy?
- 23:03Speaker 1: Especially you as a carpenter, And that I would be
- 23:09Speaker 1: you know, it would be sick. Is if someone else's
- 23:12Speaker 1: girlfriend was saying that Jake is so handy?
- 23:15Speaker 3: Yeah, that would be sick. But it's the other way around.
- 23:17Speaker 1: I don't know. Yeah, it would be sick. It's to
- 23:19Speaker 1: your ego.
- 23:21Speaker 3: You didn't word it hurts.
- 23:22Speaker 1: I would just be like dating.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Then, Why is it like I often catch myself out
- 23:29Speaker 3: because I actually don't have any like qualtfications of being
- 23:33Speaker 3: like a trade or anything like that. Sometimes I'm like, fuck,
- 23:35Speaker 3: I'm not a real man. That's not what makes a man,
- 23:38Speaker 3: I know exactly, But I still catch myself out and
- 23:40Speaker 3: man like, I'm not that good on the fucking tools.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Nah, I see? Yeah, why is that we've all been
- 23:45Speaker 1: so ingrained that something about what makes you a man
- 23:48Speaker 1: is just like being this blue collar and dirty hands
- 23:51Speaker 1: and shit. But he's actually something that I heard, and
- 23:55Speaker 1: it was from my best friend, like Bateman on the podcast.
- 23:56Speaker 1: He was on.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Every thing a man does is manly facts.
- 24:05Speaker 5: You know.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Yeah, bro, I'm a man of my own right.
- 24:10Speaker 1: This one would kill me. Test how to test your
- 24:12Speaker 1: man if he messes up driving? Say do you want
- 24:15Speaker 1: me to drive? Oh?
- 24:18Speaker 3: That would kill me too, because I am my better
- 24:20Speaker 3: at driving than my girlfriend, Like I also would.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Say with a lot of confidence, and I'm a better
- 24:28Speaker 1: driver than Beth, right, but I do make mistakes, right,
- 24:34Speaker 1: and so she is always into me about it always,
- 24:39Speaker 1: and I'm just like, keep my mouth shut.
- 24:41Speaker 3: The only mistake I would make is like occasionally I'll
- 24:43Speaker 3: like fuck up a gear change. I'm not like Pantitani Brindy,
- 24:47Speaker 3: but like cats, he doesn't have leg to stand on.
- 24:49Speaker 3: She'll say something like kind of but not in like
- 24:51Speaker 3: a I'm better than your kind of way. It's like
- 24:54Speaker 3: because she kn't of amagine what she can, but she doesn't.
- 24:56Speaker 1: So I have a similar situation. Right when Beth and
- 24:59Speaker 1: I first started dating, so she didn't have her license,
- 25:03Speaker 1: and then a bit over a year in she got it.
- 25:07Speaker 1: So that first year in a bit was pure bliss
- 25:10Speaker 1: because I could park anywhere, I could make any mistake,
- 25:15Speaker 1: I could do anything while driving, and she couldn't say it,
- 25:17Speaker 1: and she wouldn't say anything. And I would never say
- 25:20Speaker 1: this to it. I would never hold it against her,
- 25:21Speaker 1: but she's she would never say anything because she felt
- 25:23Speaker 1: like she couldn't because she couldn't drive. And so then
- 25:27Speaker 1: she gets her license and now it's just a she's
- 25:32Speaker 1: got that leg, that she's got this new found confidence
- 25:34Speaker 1: in being able to be like, I will fucking drive,
- 25:36Speaker 1: and I'm like.
- 25:37Speaker 3: You've also got the best comeback ever. You're still in
- 25:39Speaker 3: your peace.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Yeah. Radio people later on the freeway told you, I've
- 25:46Speaker 1: given you a limit.
- 25:49Speaker 3: This is my last one, and I feel like it's
- 25:51Speaker 3: the best one. So how to test your man. Ask
- 25:54Speaker 3: him do you have any photos of hot girls on
- 25:56Speaker 3: your phone? He'll say no. Then you're like, you don't
- 26:00Speaker 3: have any photos of me? Oh that's a good one.
- 26:03Speaker 3: I like that one.
- 26:05Speaker 1: I like that a lot. Okay, I got two more.
- 26:08Speaker 1: How to test your man? This might test you as well.
- 26:10Speaker 1: What's nine plus ten nineteen twenty one? How's this testing me?
- 26:19Speaker 1: Nine plus ten is twenty one?
- 26:21Speaker 3: It's not you don't know what you want?
- 26:25Speaker 1: Who are you?
- 26:26Speaker 3: Nine plus ten is nine?
- 26:27Speaker 1: How old are you? Twenty five?
- 26:29Speaker 2: Bro?
- 26:30Speaker 1: You're fifty? What are you talking about plus twenty? Good?
- 26:34Speaker 1: Do you let me wait?
- 26:35Speaker 3: Wait waiting to hold back to two thousand of twelve?
- 26:37Speaker 1: Let me try and help You's nine plus ten twenty?
- 26:43Speaker 1: Do you know what I'm talking about that meme? Yeah?
- 26:45Speaker 1: So you don't.
- 26:45Speaker 3: I remember what you were talking about from the start.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Oh yeah, but like so you failed. I don't even fail.
- 26:50Speaker 4: I feel like basically you failed the vibe, you know
- 26:53Speaker 4: where like you're fucking basically what's happened here is you
- 26:55Speaker 4: failed the vibe. If anything, I brought better vibes than that,
- 26:58Speaker 4: the shit vibes. It's slight the equivalent of like, how
- 27:01Speaker 4: can every boddy this thing right now. Who's ever been
- 27:03Speaker 4: on a zoom meeting with like an old dude and
- 27:05Speaker 4: then someone says like, oh, guy's coming into work between
- 27:08Speaker 4: six and seven, and then he goes six seven and
- 27:11Speaker 4: you're like, dude, you're fucking forty five coad say that shit.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Our manager did it the other day.
- 27:17Speaker 3: And he's like, sorry, I've got kids. His wife, who
- 27:19Speaker 3: was also his business partner, looked at him.
- 27:21Speaker 1: He's like, shut that fuck.
- 27:24Speaker 3: That's the equivalent of that's the new twenty one?
- 27:26Speaker 1: A no, yes, yeah, nude, I don't think no. Nine
- 27:31Speaker 1: plus ten twenty one that was that was the original one?
- 27:34Speaker 1: Was like, what's one plus one window?
- 27:39Speaker 3: That was the original one?
- 27:41Speaker 1: All right, okay, I got one more. And this is
- 27:43Speaker 1: a fucking wit. This is a tester, and we've had
- 27:48Speaker 1: one so similar to it recently that we didn't really
- 27:50Speaker 1: know how to answer. How to test your man? Say
- 27:54Speaker 1: to him, if me and your exes, sorry, if me
- 27:57Speaker 1: and your ex swapped bodies and you had to kiss
- 28:00Speaker 1: one of us to swap back, who were you kissing.
- 28:04Speaker 3: To swap them both back? I would kiss my exes
- 28:10Speaker 3: body and my girlfriend's brain, because then I'm still kissing
- 28:12Speaker 3: the same person. That's got to be the answer.
- 28:18Speaker 1: I actually agree, Yeah, yeah, I think I think. I
- 28:20Speaker 1: think I agree.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Because then I'm still kissing her soul.
- 28:23Speaker 1: And you know what, so no, no, no, you're kissing
- 28:26Speaker 1: your your girlfriend's body with your ex's brain.
- 28:28Speaker 3: Right, No, no, no, I said it the other around. Oh,
- 28:31Speaker 3: I said, I'm kissing my ex'es body and my girlfriend's
- 28:34Speaker 3: brain because I'm stillkissing Cassie.
- 28:35Speaker 1: There was the other way around. You're kissing. Oh, I
- 28:37Speaker 1: get it.
- 28:37Speaker 5: The fuck?
- 28:38Speaker 1: Maybe I'm wrong. Yeah, So I think I would go
- 28:41Speaker 1: this is what I would do if I got asked
- 28:42Speaker 1: that question. I would go without hesitation, right, I would
- 28:48Speaker 1: kiss Bethany's body with my exes brain because I wouldn't
- 28:52Speaker 1: let either one of them speak. You know what I'm saying.
- 28:55Speaker 1: I just fucking go in and do it. And and
- 28:57Speaker 1: to me it's like I'm just kissed Bethany.
- 28:59Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's good point. But then also, like if
- 29:02Speaker 3: I'm pitching in my head, they're stood side by side,
- 29:04Speaker 3: and then like you're gonna watch it. Yeah, you're kissing
- 29:08Speaker 3: what looks like beth but best in this other girls,
- 29:10Speaker 3: your ex body? What she's there about to fucking throw hands.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Wait wait, wait, note, but Beth, but you know the
- 29:14Speaker 1: right answer.
- 29:14Speaker 2: You know this.
- 29:15Speaker 3: She knows that you know that her brain's in your
- 29:17Speaker 3: exit body.
- 29:18Speaker 1: But here's the thing, right is I gotta be honest.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Let's say myself and Beth's ex swaps to bodies, and
- 29:25Speaker 1: Beth had to kiss one of us to swap it back.
- 29:27Speaker 1: I would want her to kiss my body with her
- 29:29Speaker 1: with her ex's brain, because I'm in her ex'es body,
- 29:31Speaker 1: and I would prefer to watch her kiss me.
- 29:36Speaker 3: That's gonna be I've switched. I think that's the right
- 29:38Speaker 3: answer to.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Yeah, they know that. Like, so she comes over and
- 29:41Speaker 1: kisses me and her exes body, Like, I know that
- 29:44Speaker 1: what she's doing is kissing her ex but I know
- 29:45Speaker 1: it's me, but it's but it's acts.
- 29:48Speaker 3: Actually, there's no wrong answer here. Oh, because you've at
- 29:53Speaker 3: one point in your life kissed both people.
- 29:57Speaker 1: So true, would say, as a new person, So it
- 30:01Speaker 1: doesn't matter. Yeah, the worst question is me and a
- 30:04Speaker 1: random all right, me and a random man that you
- 30:07Speaker 1: find attractive. Here we go. Here's a good question, right,
- 30:12Speaker 1: I ask your girlfriend this? All right, ask her me,
- 30:16Speaker 1: me and your celebrity crush. Yeah, that's better we swap bodies.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Who are you kissing? To swap us back?
- 30:21Speaker 3: And I think the right answer is a celebrity, because
- 30:23Speaker 3: if that happened, I'll be like, here, here's a chance
- 30:25Speaker 3: to fucking kiss.
- 30:26Speaker 1: And I'm in the control of the body, so I
- 30:27Speaker 1: do the shit is kissing. Yeah, I'm Jacob a lordie,
- 30:34Speaker 1: but I can't kiss.
- 30:37Speaker 6: Oh damn, Bady, you know what time?
- 30:53Speaker 3: Oh crap.
- 30:54Speaker 1: If you're new around here.
- 30:55Speaker 3: This is part three of Jake Versus Addie in Make

- 31:17Speaker 3: who has made the best jingle.
- 31:20Speaker 1: I don't want to I don't want to make any
- 31:23Speaker 1: bold claims, but I'm feeling pretty good about this. You're
- 31:27Speaker 1: feeling good? Yeah, I had a couple combines of that
- 31:30Speaker 1: donut right there.
- 31:30Speaker 3: And I'm feeling pretty good.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:33Speaker 3: Well, I wouldn't feel too good A bit hard when
- 31:38Speaker 3: you had bloody Chris Creme don't Yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 31:41Speaker 3: So how.
- 31:43Speaker 1: Do you want to do this Jake.
- 31:44Speaker 3: I want to build up the jingles because I think
- 31:46Speaker 3: mine's really good. You think yours is really good. But
- 31:49Speaker 3: we're going to leave it up to the baddies to vote.
- 31:51Speaker 3: Just to reiterate, what's your song about.
- 31:55Speaker 1: I went for a bit of a modern day rap.
- 31:58Speaker 1: I really wanted to get your head bopper. Oh yeah.
- 32:00Speaker 1: I want you to feel it, yeahah yeah, yeah.
- 32:02Speaker 3: When it comes on, I want you to think like
- 32:05Speaker 3: you know, I want you to be driving.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Yeah. And what I want is when it comes on,
- 32:08Speaker 1: I want you to the first thing you do, put
- 32:11Speaker 1: the indicator on, veer off to the next krispy Kreme.
- 32:14Speaker 4: Ok You're going straight to the next Krispy Kreme shop
- 32:17Speaker 4: to get a couple original glazed.
- 32:18Speaker 3: I see the vision, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, Okay,
- 32:21Speaker 3: I like that.
- 32:21Speaker 1: I do like it. I like the vision.
- 32:23Speaker 3: It's probably not going to pay off. But me, on
- 32:28Speaker 3: the other hand, I want this jingle to get stuck
- 32:30Speaker 3: in your head.
- 32:31Speaker 1: Okay.
- 32:33Speaker 3: And I've gone the nostalgic route because I've loved krispy
- 32:37Speaker 3: Kreme since I was a young boy, yep. And I
- 32:40Speaker 3: think I'm going to continue to love them until I'm
- 32:42Speaker 3: older and with that, I was like, how can I
- 32:45Speaker 3: put that into a jingle? So I've gone nostalgia, playing
- 32:47Speaker 3: on the heart strings. I'm just as Krispy Kremes are.
- 32:50Speaker 3: They're a sweet treat that I love, and I've tried
- 32:53Speaker 3: to portray that in a jingle to just make you
- 32:56Speaker 3: feel good, which is what a Krispy Kreme does to.
- 32:59Speaker 1: You in a lot of words, words and not much
- 33:00Speaker 1: jingle if you have to explain it that much.
- 33:06Speaker 3: Now, I'm just trying to convey what it means quickly
- 33:10Speaker 3: creamed to me. I think someone's a little bit worried
- 33:12Speaker 3: that their jingle is not going to come across as
- 33:14Speaker 3: the way they hope, so they have to over explain. No, no, no, no,
- 33:18Speaker 3: there's no such thing as over explaining.
- 33:20Speaker 1: There's only I can do this under delivering is which
- 33:26Speaker 1: is what you're going to do with your Okay, let's
- 33:31Speaker 1: who do you want know? Who's first is first? I
- 33:33Speaker 1: don't know. Wait. Here's the thing is, like do I
- 33:35Speaker 1: want to go first or do I want to go second?
- 33:38Speaker 1: Because the second one will be like the last one?
- 33:40Speaker 3: People hear, so like the second one to go, the
- 33:43Speaker 3: first one will be forgotten about.
- 33:45Speaker 1: See that's the thing is that, do you think?
- 33:46Speaker 3: So if yours goes first, yeah, so let's do it.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Was so confident in yours.
- 33:54Speaker 3: Here's the idea because you said that, I want to
- 33:56Speaker 3: go first, okay, and I want you to go.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Second, right because I want to prove you wrong.
- 34:01Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know I'm going to prove you right.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Thank you. I appreciate that. What you were trying to
- 34:07Speaker 1: say is I'm not even going to help you, all right,
- 34:12Speaker 1: So I'll go first. Here we go. This is Jake's
- 34:15Speaker 1: Krispy Kreme jingle. You bad.
- 34:17Speaker 3: He's going to hear this for the first time. You
- 34:37Speaker 3: were bomping.
- 34:38Speaker 1: I saw you. You were bomping. That took over that
- 34:41Speaker 1: genuinely took over your body. Yeah, no, that was.
- 34:45Speaker 3: I was a bit cold, even warm, mate, that's what
- 34:49Speaker 3: I was doing. Okay, yeah, yeah, okay, okay, I'll give
- 34:54Speaker 3: credit where credit is Drew.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Thank you, pretty good, Thank you very much.
- 34:58Speaker 3: It's good sold like five out of ten. Oh that's good.
- 35:04Speaker 3: That's a pass, all right?
- 35:05Speaker 1: All right? Yeah, okay, you want to hear a real jingle.
- 35:09Speaker 1: You ready for this? This is my krispy Kreme jingle
- 35:13Speaker 1: driving just because, smiling.
- 35:16Speaker 7: Just because, oh Hey, I gotta say, like pretty boring,
- 35:35Speaker 7: not the word I would use, rabbit it is.
- 35:37Speaker 1: I like it. It's good you hear you, hear my
- 35:40Speaker 1: explanation in it? Now, what's your explanation again?
- 35:44Speaker 3: Like nostalgia feeling?
- 35:51Speaker 1: No? No, I actually like it. Good?
- 35:52Speaker 3: Okay, okay, good. So where we're going to go from
- 35:55Speaker 3: here about is we're leaving it in your capable hands
- 35:59Speaker 3: either comment below his jingle or Jake's jingle, And next
- 36:04Speaker 3: week we're actually gonna find out who's made the better one.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Yes, I'm very, very excited, me too. Before we leave, though,
- 36:13Speaker 1: let's just play both of them one more time. So
- 36:15Speaker 1: this one is mine.
- 36:17Speaker 3: Jake's jingle wants to plan again because he's scared he
- 36:19Speaker 3: wasn't good enough. Catch you a little bit, and here
- 36:42Speaker 3: is mine drama.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Just because, smiling, just because.
- 36:48Speaker 3: Chris sweet Tree.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Al Right, guys, you know what to do. Comment below,
- 36:58Speaker 1: See you next week. Alrighty, I've got a dilemma for you, oddie.
- 37:08Speaker 1: If you guys want a similar dilemma, it is linked
- 37:10Speaker 1: in the description of this video.
- 37:12Speaker 3: I can tell you what everyone listening could do. If
- 37:14Speaker 3: you're enjoying this episode two and you love the dilemma segment.
- 37:16Speaker 3: Like we love the dilemma segment is head over to
- 37:18Speaker 3: Patreon for eight nine a month.
- 37:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:20Speaker 3: Gee, honestly, this has been a Patreon's always good, but
- 37:23Speaker 3: the best Patreon has ever been content community baddie vibes. Yes, agreed,
- 37:30Speaker 3: So head on over there.
- 37:32Speaker 1: I've broken my own rule.
- 37:35Speaker 3: Shit, those boundaries are broken.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Hey, guys, love the pot. It's gotten me through some
- 37:38Speaker 1: really tough times. I really need your advice on something
- 37:40Speaker 1: because I'm totally torn over the summer. I've caught feelings
- 37:44Speaker 1: for a guy I was seeing very casually back in January.
- 37:48Speaker 1: We were just doing kind of no strings hotel meetups,
- 37:50Speaker 1: but now he has suggested actual dates.
- 37:52Speaker 3: Hotel meetups is hot.
- 37:53Speaker 1: That is hot.
- 37:54Speaker 3: I feel like that helps to the casual vibes because
- 37:56Speaker 3: you're not in an either people's environment.
- 37:57Speaker 1: So true like proper going out, proper getting to know
- 38:00Speaker 1: each other. And I've got to be honest, I really
- 38:02Speaker 1: enjoy spending time with him. He's so sweet, super nice,
- 38:05Speaker 1: and obviously extremely attractive. The chemistry is unreal. But here's
- 38:09Speaker 1: the thing. When we first started seeing each other, we
- 38:11Speaker 1: both said we didn't want anything long term, and I
- 38:14Speaker 1: know myself. I travel loads. I don't want kids, and
- 38:17Speaker 1: he really does. I've had this issue before, getting close,
- 38:20Speaker 1: feeling happy, but knowing deep down that it can't last.
- 38:23Speaker 1: So now I'm stuck. Do I keep seeing him all
- 38:26Speaker 1: summer and just savor every moment even though I know
- 38:28Speaker 1: I'll probably fall even harder. Or do I step back
- 38:30Speaker 1: now before it goes too deep? I'd love to know
- 38:33Speaker 1: what you would do if you were in my shoes.
- 38:35Speaker 1: Thanks so much, guys. I feel like I'm in a
- 38:37Speaker 1: goofy mood today, you say, I feel like if I
- 38:39Speaker 1: was in your shoes, I'd cave to the pressure. I'd
- 38:42Speaker 1: like i'd cave to the to the good feeling.
- 38:45Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, she's she said. I feel like maybe I'm
- 38:49Speaker 3: into deep. Course, I feel like you're into deep when
- 38:54Speaker 3: fucking he went deep? Because casual sex never fucking works.
- 39:00Speaker 3: That's when you're in too deep. As soon as the
- 39:01Speaker 3: fucking penis Pandretta to the diner.
- 39:04Speaker 1: What it's a good point, like, we don't how do your.
- 39:06Speaker 3: Sex never fucking this always happens.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Like if you're someone that goes, that's when you're in
- 39:10Speaker 1: too deep. Yeah, I casual sex too, Like, let's think
- 39:16Speaker 1: about this. I think we need to put a limit
- 39:20Speaker 1: on it. Right, you can have sex with it.
- 39:23Speaker 3: I reckon the limits. When you fucking penetrate, that's when
- 39:26Speaker 3: it's gone past the limit.
- 39:28Speaker 1: No, no, no. I if you have a one night stam
- 39:31Speaker 1: with someone and it's very good, right, yeah, and you're like, dang,
- 39:37Speaker 1: I do want to have sex with them again? I
- 39:39Speaker 1: think you can have sex a maximum of five times, right,
- 39:45Speaker 1: any more than that and it's just like you may
- 39:47Speaker 1: as well date.
- 39:49Speaker 3: I agree, But also like, so one night stand, I
- 39:53Speaker 3: know what happens, so but more than likely it's after
- 39:55Speaker 3: a one after a night out, sorry, when you've been drinking. Yeah,
- 39:58Speaker 3: And like I feel like that adds to the you
- 40:01Speaker 3: know that this isn't anything because we're also not being
- 40:03Speaker 3: ourselves at the moment. True, Like if I was ever
- 40:06Speaker 3: to sleep with a girl on a one night stand
- 40:08Speaker 3: and it happened like say twice with the same girl,
- 40:10Speaker 3: it's because we were both drunk both times. I wasn't
- 40:13Speaker 3: just sober man Like, yo, you want to come over
- 40:14Speaker 3: and fucking have a one night stand, And I feel
- 40:17Speaker 3: like I wouldn't want to do.
- 40:17Speaker 1: That because now I reckon you would, because like I
- 40:22Speaker 1: would catch.
- 40:23Speaker 3: It because I'd like catch feelings.
- 40:25Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay, fair, because but what you really doing
- 40:27Speaker 1: it once? I think literally just once? I think once
- 40:29Speaker 1: it is fine?
- 40:30Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, but also like it's never just once because
- 40:32Speaker 3: I also like, what if you just do it twice?
- 40:34Speaker 1: If you do it twice and actually cut it off.
- 40:36Speaker 3: I think once is the I honestly it never I'm
- 40:39Speaker 3: telling you all jokes aside. When you actually the actual
- 40:42Speaker 3: action of having sex, peanus goes in the vagina, that's
- 40:44Speaker 3: when it's no longer.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Getting avatar, when they fucking connect to those animals. There's
- 40:49Speaker 1: a reason it's called love making. It's not called fucking. Nah, bro.
- 40:54Speaker 1: I actually think sometimes you can make love and sometimes
- 40:56Speaker 1: you can just fuck. Yeah, but and sometimes you can
- 40:59Speaker 1: just have sex.
- 41:00Speaker 3: I think that after every single time you have sex
- 41:03Speaker 3: with your partner, there's the tiniest little bit of connection
- 41:05Speaker 3: because it's so intimate. Even as much as you just fuck,
- 41:08Speaker 3: if you just fucking go to Poundtown together and you
- 41:10Speaker 3: fucking love that shit, there's this the tiny little bit
- 41:12Speaker 3: of love making in that there always is.
- 41:14Speaker 1: Yeah, true, like that you're not just like a Poundtown
- 41:17Speaker 1: the whole time. Yeah, Like, even if you're just like
- 41:19Speaker 1: having a one night stand with someone. And let's just
- 41:21Speaker 1: say you guys are both like, yeah, how about how
- 41:22Speaker 1: about we get rowdy, you know, all consensual and stuff,
- 41:25Speaker 1: and you guys having like a rowdy sex. There is
- 41:26Speaker 1: always like a minute here or a minute there where
- 41:28Speaker 1: you slow down it gets real sensual.
- 41:31Speaker 3: The only thing, the only way this is the craziest
- 41:33Speaker 3: analogy ever is like I think it would work in
- 41:36Speaker 3: that context is if you like used it as like
- 41:38Speaker 3: a gym session.
- 41:39Speaker 1: You rock up, like fucking yo, what's going on?
- 41:41Speaker 3: Both get naked, fuck and then be like that was
- 41:45Speaker 3: fucking hectic, bro fucking out of town. Nothing, no tower,
- 41:50Speaker 3: no nothing, No one wants that.
- 41:52Speaker 1: Let's be real, you probably need to fucking stop. What's
- 41:54Speaker 1: the question? Okay, do I should I? She's like saying,
- 41:59Speaker 1: should I keep doing it and then end it at
- 42:01Speaker 1: the end of the summer or should I stop now? Oh?
- 42:04Speaker 3: If you actually don't want to pursue it, then stop
- 42:06Speaker 3: right now.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Yeah, like you'd be like she and she's like, literally
- 42:09Speaker 1: like I'm gonna fall even harder.
- 42:10Speaker 3: She said, I don't know, Like sex is great and all,
- 42:12Speaker 3: especially I guess the hard thing for women too, Like
- 42:15Speaker 3: if you find like a genuine man who's good at sex,
- 42:18Speaker 3: and like you feel comfortable with him, and like she
- 42:20Speaker 3: thinks there's no strings attacked, even though there's some bit
- 42:23Speaker 3: there's a bit of love attachment there, Like it's kind
- 42:25Speaker 3: of like rare. So you think, like I can't get
- 42:26Speaker 3: any better and some as we'll keep fucking. I understand that,
- 42:30Speaker 3: But also I think like you owe it to yourself
- 42:31Speaker 3: to stop.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree.
- 42:33Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, like you dug yourself a little bit
- 42:36Speaker 3: of a whole and now you just gottaigure it out
- 42:38Speaker 3: if you keep digging, girl, or fucking get a ladder
- 42:40Speaker 3: and crawl on out. All right, my dilemma. Hey legends,
- 42:47Speaker 3: happy four years of the potty. Hey, I love the
- 42:49Speaker 3: work you do. Keep kicking butt. I don't know if
- 42:52Speaker 3: this is really a dilemma. We're already fight and cry,
- 42:55Speaker 3: but but would love your advice. I'm twenty five, work
- 43:00Speaker 3: as a nurse, purchased my own apartment last year. From
- 43:03Speaker 3: the outside, I look like I've got all my shit together. However,
- 43:06Speaker 3: I've been struggling with my mental health for eight years now.
- 43:09Speaker 3: It affects every aspect of my life. I'm a virgin.
- 43:12Speaker 3: I don't like going out. I've lost all my friends.
- 43:14Speaker 3: I enjoy nights in. I am super type A. I
- 43:17Speaker 3: cancel plans. I struggle to plan holidays because I have
- 43:20Speaker 3: no one to go with. I crave connection, but also
- 43:23Speaker 3: self sabotage with everyone. I don't know what to do.
- 43:26Speaker 3: I feel stuck, lonely and confused, and just when I
- 43:28Speaker 3: enjoy my life, oh the whole thing.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Yeah, sad one. I feel like if you did she
- 43:37Speaker 1: say she's seeing a therapist or anything, Nah, she didn't
- 43:39Speaker 1: mentioned that. Like, I feel like sometimes if you read
- 43:44Speaker 1: that dilemma back to yourself, the person who's center, right, Like,
- 43:49Speaker 1: if you read that back to yourself and you think
- 43:51Speaker 1: to yourself, like if someone came to me and they
- 43:55Speaker 1: had the exact same dilemma, you'd probably be thinking, like
- 44:00Speaker 1: you should probably see someone, you could probably get help.
- 44:02Speaker 3: Yeah, And I think, well, maybe this is the first
- 44:04Speaker 3: sign or the first time she's realized she needs help
- 44:06Speaker 3: and she's asked to us, because it's the easiest stepping
- 44:08Speaker 3: stone than going to therapy.
- 44:09Speaker 1: It should be fair, like this is like you're probably
- 44:11Speaker 1: going in the right direction. And it's also like relatable too,
- 44:15Speaker 1: because like.
- 44:17Speaker 3: In societal eyes, you're doing amazing, qualified nurse.
- 44:21Speaker 1: You've purchased an apartment.
- 44:22Speaker 3: Like from the outside, your parents think, oh, yeah, fucking
- 44:24Speaker 3: Sally's doing great.
- 44:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 44:26Speaker 3: But then like when you close the door and no
- 44:27Speaker 3: one's in your brain and you're like, holy shit, I
- 44:29Speaker 3: don't even know what I'm doing. And I feel like
- 44:31Speaker 3: that's the reality of being an adult too. You grind, grind, grind.
- 44:34Speaker 3: You don't really know anything about yourself.
- 44:36Speaker 1: That's a good point. I tell you what.
- 44:38Speaker 3: I don't know if this will help, but I've been
- 44:39Speaker 3: practicing this a little bit more. It sounds so simple,
- 44:43Speaker 3: but I don't do it and I struggle with it.
- 44:47Speaker 1: But literally, in life, you have so much.
- 44:51Speaker 3: Fucking free will. Yeah, and like actually practicing using that
- 44:56Speaker 3: and getting outside this bubble that you are stuck in,
- 44:59Speaker 3: because I get up in my own mind and I
- 45:00Speaker 3: feel like that's where you are. Like the way you
- 45:02Speaker 3: are feels like you're contained and not being able to
- 45:05Speaker 3: open up to anyone else in the world, and you're like, fuck,
- 45:07Speaker 3: why am I like this?
- 45:07Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 45:08Speaker 3: And I had to make so much structure to my life,
- 45:10Speaker 3: and every once in a while now I'm like catching
- 45:12Speaker 3: myself out and be like wait a minute, Like like yesterday,
- 45:15Speaker 3: for example, I will never get McDonald's on the way
- 45:18Speaker 3: home because like it's not healthy and it's outside my
- 45:20Speaker 3: regime and I would prefer not to fuck it. I
- 45:23Speaker 3: didn't have Lunchester there because were recording. I prefer not
- 45:25Speaker 3: to eat and then get home and have something healthy.
- 45:28Speaker 3: And yesterday this is just the easiest example in the world.
- 45:30Speaker 1: I was just like, fuck, I don't know, notice go
- 45:33Speaker 1: and get backets. Yeah, yeah, why not?
- 45:35Speaker 3: And like to me, like it's such a simple fucking thing,
- 45:38Speaker 3: but breaking my mental barrier of like what my life
- 45:41Speaker 3: is meant to be like felt so freeing. And I
- 45:44Speaker 3: don't know if this is going to help any means,
- 45:45Speaker 3: but it could be the first step where like what's
- 45:47Speaker 3: she struggling with. She doesn't like going out, she doesn't
- 45:50Speaker 3: have a lot of friends, she likes being in, which
- 45:52Speaker 3: aren't bad things, to be fair, but it's like breaking
- 45:55Speaker 3: that cycle of everything you're doing in every single day
- 45:57Speaker 3: and every single week might be the first step to
- 45:59Speaker 3: gain better.
- 46:00Speaker 1: I don't know. Look, I think it's good advice. I
- 46:03Speaker 1: don't know either, to be honest with you, Like, the
- 46:04Speaker 1: thing that's sticking with me though, is the fact that
- 46:06Speaker 1: you set of struggled with mental health for eight years,
- 46:10Speaker 1: and so I assure, like, look, I'm going to assume
- 46:12Speaker 1: that you've had help in that eight years, like or
- 46:15Speaker 1: like you you've seeked out a professional help or whatever
- 46:18Speaker 1: help in the professional sense. The only thing I could
- 46:21Speaker 1: ask is, you know, is like a few questions to
- 46:24Speaker 1: ask yourself. May ask yourself sorry, maybe is like, you know,
- 46:28Speaker 1: what's your actual routine like nurse nurse works hard because
- 46:31Speaker 1: it's shift work usually, but like, what's your your what's
- 46:34Speaker 1: your routine? Like what you know, what do you do?
- 46:37Speaker 1: You have hobbies? Like what's like what's your diet, like,
- 46:42Speaker 1: what's like what's your Can you.
- 46:44Speaker 3: Break the circle of what you're doing?
- 46:46Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 46:46Speaker 1: And then also and if you haven't, like another thing
- 46:52Speaker 1: I want to, like, getting help from therapist is expensive,
- 46:56Speaker 1: and I can see that being a big barrier. But
- 46:58Speaker 1: also at the same time, if you're sitting here, if
- 47:01Speaker 1: you're saying to these two guys that have a podcast
- 47:04Speaker 1: you listen to that, like, you're struggling, and you've struggle
- 47:06Speaker 1: for eight years and you have never actually gotten help.
- 47:08Speaker 1: And one of the biggest reasons, let's say it could
- 47:10Speaker 1: be because of money or maybe you're scared to do it.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Like if your biggest reasons that you're scared to do
- 47:15Speaker 1: it, it's like that. I I genuinely like that that that's
- 47:20Speaker 1: a you problem, Like you need to fucking just like
- 47:23Speaker 1: take the risk and go see help. But if your
- 47:24Speaker 1: biggest thing is like the money thing, it's like, you've
- 47:27Speaker 1: got to invest in yourself. You bought a house. How
- 47:30Speaker 1: can you can buy a house but you can't invest
- 47:31Speaker 1: in your own happiness?
- 47:33Speaker 3: This to be fair, Like I suppose that's a semihish
- 47:36Speaker 3: way to put it, but that is right in a
- 47:37Speaker 3: sense of like you've invested so much in your future,
- 47:41Speaker 3: but you haven't invested in yourself. Yeah, and like we're
- 47:44Speaker 3: putting we're putting pieces and puzzle pieces together, which we
- 47:47Speaker 3: don't have the we're jumping into conclusions, but you didn't
- 47:48Speaker 3: give us enough. So like I agree, Like the first
- 47:51Speaker 3: step is maybe talking to us, and then the next
- 47:54Speaker 3: step is telling your family. I assume you have some
- 47:57Speaker 3: sort of relationship with your parents or a family memor yep.
- 48:00Speaker 3: And that's before therapy, which is free, and then go
- 48:03Speaker 3: to therapy. But it's also like I don't know this
- 48:07Speaker 3: is the right thing for her to go to therapy.
- 48:09Speaker 3: But I also don't like giving that advice because like, yeah,
- 48:11Speaker 3: it's hard. It's just like someone said to me, like
- 48:13Speaker 3: go to therapy, Like obviously I should go to therapy,
- 48:15Speaker 3: but also like fuck that.
- 48:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know though. It's like if you know
- 48:19Speaker 1: that you should go to therapy and then you're like
- 48:21Speaker 1: fuck that, it's like, well, then what you're doing is
- 48:23Speaker 1: you don't actually want to you don't want to get better. Yeah.
- 48:25Speaker 1: In my like that, it just at least you know
- 48:27Speaker 1: from from a from a standpoint of of me.
- 48:30Speaker 3: Otherwise I would like make a list of like actual
- 48:34Speaker 3: actionable steps that you think you could do one at
- 48:37Speaker 3: a time to break the cycle you're in and then
- 48:40Speaker 3: feel better if.
- 48:40Speaker 1: You did all of them. Yeah, that's that's a free
- 48:42Speaker 1: thing you could do. That's good advice. Yeah, Like like.
- 48:44Speaker 3: Once a week you read it ten pages or some
- 48:46Speaker 3: ten pages a day, You walk in a new place,
- 48:48Speaker 3: in a new environment. Every day you go and put
- 48:50Speaker 3: yourself in an environment you never be in the gym,
- 48:52Speaker 3: the library, blah blah blah. The little list like that,
- 48:54Speaker 3: and if you do all that one you feel accomplished too.
- 48:56Speaker 3: You'll be like, wait, I've grown here.
- 48:58Speaker 1: Yeah, that's free, find something you joy. Yeah, but therapy
- 49:02Speaker 1: is the best advice.
- 49:03Speaker 3: I went, and I had trouble justifying the money, but
- 49:07Speaker 3: also like it was hard. I didn't have a major problem,
- 49:10Speaker 3: which sounds like it must be nice, but also like
- 49:13Speaker 3: I did walk away. If there's something so freeing and
- 49:15Speaker 3: talking to someone that doesn't know anything about you, yeah,
- 49:18Speaker 3: you just feel like I hate talking about myself and
- 49:21Speaker 3: like I'm paying for him to listen to. I went
- 49:23Speaker 3: to a male therapist, him listened to me. I was like,
- 49:25Speaker 3: I walked away from it, like I didn't get any
- 49:27Speaker 3: actionable fucking things to take away, but I was kind
- 49:29Speaker 3: of just it felt freeing. Yeah, it just felt like
- 49:32Speaker 3: there was a weight lifted off my shoulder and I
- 49:33Speaker 3: just talked to him. It's just like venting to someone
- 49:36Speaker 3: and they can't tell anyone. You're like, oh, this was nice,
- 49:38Speaker 3: talk so much fucking shit too.
- 49:39Speaker 1: Oh yeah it's great, It's it's dud.
- 49:42Speaker 3: Look why isn't that subsidized by the glovement doctors? Usually
- 49:45Speaker 3: if you go to a doctor, you can get you
- 49:47Speaker 3: can free session or something you go. That's probably the
- 49:49Speaker 3: best thing you can get on a mental health plan.
- 49:51Speaker 3: I remember that now you can go see a GP
- 49:53Speaker 3: and you get ten free sess and I think it's
- 49:55Speaker 3: like fifty dollars a session, like investiating yourself.
- 49:58Speaker 1: For sure, you should definitely just try it, and like
- 50:00Speaker 1: here's the thing, right, let's say if you haven't tried
- 50:02Speaker 1: it and you don't want to try it, it's like
- 50:03Speaker 1: at least if you try it, you know, then you
- 50:06Speaker 1: know it doesn't work for you, So then it is
- 50:08Speaker 1: like fair to be like I've tried that, it didn't work,
- 50:10Speaker 1: blah blah blah. So you got to you gotta start
- 50:12Speaker 1: trying things, I'd say.
- 50:14Speaker 3: And like life's meant to be enjoyed, and understandingly it's
- 50:18Speaker 3: so fucking hard, So like show yourself some empathy to
- 50:21Speaker 3: like you're not alone, and like this is very very
- 50:25Speaker 3: normal to feel this way at a young age.
- 50:27Speaker 1: So anything we said.
- 50:28Speaker 3: But also even if you think you have the dumbestarty
- 50:30Speaker 3: and you think you could help but go do it, Yeah.
- 50:32Speaker 1: You might genuinely you may genuinely just have a chemical
- 50:35Speaker 1: imbalance in your brain and they might prescribe you as
- 50:38Speaker 1: some sort of antidepressant or anti anxiety medication and it
- 50:41Speaker 1: genuinely might just like make everything better, like you never know.
- 50:47Speaker 1: I've never I personally haven't been prescribed them, but I
- 50:49Speaker 1: know a bunch of people that have.
- 50:51Speaker 3: Yeah, and some people think it's the best thing ever.
- 50:52Speaker 3: And then some people are like, no, I didn't like that.
- 50:54Speaker 1: Yeah. Find out his help changes some people's lives exactly.
- 51:04Speaker 1: That is his time for comments.
- 51:05Speaker 3: If you want to get at a comment read you
- 51:07Speaker 3: know what to do by now, simply comment on the episode.
- 51:09Speaker 1: You are listening to.
- 51:10Speaker 3: I've got Spotify men make everything difficult. Sarah Matthews is back.
- 51:17Speaker 3: Literally have been brainstorming ideas for the middle connectors that
- 51:22Speaker 3: you wouldn't notice on the sheets. I really think this
- 51:24Speaker 3: could be an ideal collaboration, So.
- 51:27Speaker 1: I want to be with her.
- 51:29Speaker 3: With her, she's putting herself forward. Jake and I was
- 51:31Speaker 3: going to come off podcasts Do You Reckon?
- 51:34Speaker 1: This is a good idea.
- 51:34Speaker 3: So going into business with someone is very complex. You
- 51:37Speaker 3: need like contract blah blah blah, oh baring ship do
- 51:39Speaker 3: you reckon? As a stepping stone, we're about to go
- 51:41Speaker 3: on holidays. We should pay Sarah for her time whenever
- 51:46Speaker 3: her rate is, and also give her a budget to
- 51:50Speaker 3: get us a sample to start to start and be
- 51:54Speaker 3: like we don't know what's where this is going to
- 51:55Speaker 3: go to start, and so she's her.
- 51:57Speaker 1: Time is being used fully. Yeah, now let's give her
- 52:00Speaker 1: like let's say, like we're willing to put in say
- 52:04Speaker 1: like like five hundred into your time and five hundred
- 52:10Speaker 1: into a sample.
- 52:11Speaker 3: Okay, I was thinking like two grands.
- 52:13Speaker 1: Okay, sure.
- 52:15Speaker 3: Grand I don't know, but yeah, yeah, but and then
- 52:18Speaker 3: we'll say that I don't spend any more time on that.
- 52:20Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, and then like each week we come
- 52:22Speaker 3: to love like what's up Sarah, and then like she
- 52:26Speaker 3: and then we'll be like we don't know where it
- 52:27Speaker 3: is gone because also we want this for podcast content content,
- 52:31Speaker 3: not necessarily a business thing yet, but it could turn
- 52:33Speaker 3: into that. But I don't want to like get it,
- 52:34Speaker 3: get you excited.
- 52:35Speaker 1: I feel that's fair. I agree, Yeah, I mean, like, yeah,
- 52:38Speaker 1: like we could just say we're definitely not going to
- 52:39Speaker 1: start it, like there's no death, there's no definite yes
- 52:42Speaker 1: to actually starting a business.
- 52:43Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, but this is like a fun little
- 52:45Speaker 3: thing we can do the meantime.
- 52:46Speaker 1: But like this fine little thing we can do in
- 52:47Speaker 1: the meantime if you want to end and yeah, if
- 52:49Speaker 1: you want to do it, and if you. You know,
- 52:53Speaker 1: if you impress us with your sample, then what we'll
- 52:57Speaker 1: do is I guess we'll invest. Yes, I don't know.
- 53:01Speaker 1: We're basically giving her the idea. Yeah, I feel like
- 53:04Speaker 1: it's all what did she think about? Like the whole
- 53:06Speaker 1: zip up part of it, but how it's a separate,
- 53:08Speaker 1: attached thing.
- 53:08Speaker 3: She's brains dumbing ideas for the middle so you wouldn't
- 53:10Speaker 3: notice it on sheets.
- 53:12Speaker 1: I got to talk to her.
- 53:13Speaker 3: I've messaged on what's up?
- 53:15Speaker 1: Fair? All right, I've got someone actually gave us names
- 53:20Speaker 1: for it from YouTube. Court Straw is their name on YouTube.
- 53:24Speaker 1: Hear me out? Sheet splitter, Oh she splitter, partner partition, petition,
- 53:32Speaker 1: or a mattress margin.
- 53:34Speaker 6: Nah.
- 53:34Speaker 3: I didn't like any of them.
- 53:36Speaker 1: I kind of liked partner partition, partner partition. Did I
- 53:39Speaker 1: have any to do? Someone said beda is good? Yeah,
- 53:44Speaker 1: that was me. I said that that's where you liked it.
- 53:47Speaker 3: The pillow Wingman Buffer Buddy. That was from Steph Price.
- 53:53Speaker 3: We love Steph Bryce like buffer Buddy. It could be
- 53:55Speaker 3: called the sleep doc fixed to your bedtime needs.
- 53:59Speaker 1: Anyone listening to doesn't understand what we're talking about. We
- 54:01Speaker 1: have this whole idea for a border in the middle
- 54:04Speaker 1: of or like a divider in the middle of your
- 54:05Speaker 1: bed for couples that don't want to be touching. Yeah. All,
- 54:09Speaker 1: it's actually for Audie and I whose girlfriends like to
- 54:11Speaker 1: touch us while we sleep, and we don't like to
- 54:12Speaker 1: be touched while we sleep, So then we want to
- 54:14Speaker 1: have a divider so they can't touch us.
- 54:17Speaker 3: It's a great idea if you ask me. But Baddie,
- 54:20Speaker 3: this time for one of you. Two signed off the episode.
- 54:23Speaker 3: The link will be in the description if you want
- 54:25Speaker 3: to get called by us Jake today, Who are we
- 54:29Speaker 3: going to call?
- 54:30Speaker 1: Brady? Hello? Is that Brady?
- 54:32Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 54:33Speaker 3: It's Jake from the latter this podcast.
- 54:35Speaker 1: How are you going?
- 54:35Speaker 5: Get what?
- 54:39Speaker 3: I'm actually so excited. You're the first male.
- 54:41Speaker 1: We've ever called. Hey, what's going?
- 54:44Speaker 3: What's going on?
- 54:44Speaker 1: Here? Going? Brady?
- 54:46Speaker 5: I'm going good. I'm going good. How are you going?
- 54:48Speaker 3: We're going great?
- 54:50Speaker 1: We're so We're over the movie? Yeah, over the moon.
- 54:52Speaker 3: You're one of the three percent to be honest. Yeah,
- 54:55Speaker 3: hell yeah?
- 54:56Speaker 1: Do you know?
- 54:57Speaker 3: Do you know why we're calling?
- 54:59Speaker 5: I do it, I do And I've got my notes
- 55:01Speaker 5: ready for.
- 55:02Speaker 3: Yeah, you love prepared man. Yes, have you got a riddle?
- 55:06Speaker 3: Or a quote something you live by. What do you got?
- 55:08Speaker 5: Okay, I've got two bits of advice, and I've got a.
- 55:11Speaker 1: Reddle for I don't worry Grady coming in Class's all right?
- 55:15Speaker 5: So a bit of advice to the daddies, Like this
- 55:19Speaker 5: year had a lot of change. Like, there's two things
- 55:22Speaker 5: that have really helped me get through it. First, one,
- 55:26Speaker 5: getting outside doing some exercise, running, walking, like whatever. It
- 55:30Speaker 5: just makes such a difference for your mental health. So like,
- 55:32Speaker 5: daddy's go for that walk, go for that run. It's
- 55:35Speaker 5: worth it.
- 55:36Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, agree, that's a great.
- 55:38Speaker 5: And two and I think this is even more important,
- 55:41Speaker 5: become a Patreon baddie.
- 55:45Speaker 1: Brady.
- 55:46Speaker 3: Yeah, well, Udy, let's say you've already made my dad
- 55:49Speaker 3: and now you've got a fucking riddle.
- 55:50Speaker 1: I don't know if you get any better.
- 55:53Speaker 5: Oh, let's go all right, we'll go with this one. Okay,
- 55:58Speaker 5: So when I go in, I can cause some pain.
- 56:02Speaker 5: I'll fill your holes when you ask me to. I
- 56:05Speaker 5: also asked that you spit and not swallow. What am I?
- 56:08Speaker 3: Oh, we can't say that.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Oh oh wait wait, wait wait wait. I also asked
- 56:15Speaker 1: that you spit a dentist. You're that was good I
- 56:23Speaker 1: was thinking I was thinking something else because when you
- 56:25Speaker 1: when you said I asked you to spit and not swallow,
- 56:27Speaker 1: I was thinking, like, because obviously I was thinking penis. Wait,
- 56:32Speaker 1: a penis doesn't speak, and then I was thinking who speaks,
- 56:34Speaker 1: and I think a man. And then I was like,
- 56:37Speaker 1: if Brady's like a relatable bad he's not going to
- 56:40Speaker 1: like do something derogatory like that. So I was thinking
- 56:42Speaker 1: he's got to be thinking of a weell you Jenius date.
- 56:45Speaker 5: Yeah I did gurgle dirty reddles.
- 56:50Speaker 3: Yes, well, thank you very much, Brady, and yes you too,
- 56:56Speaker 3: thanks for page by.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Right. That was fucking textbook. He was prepared.
- 57:04Speaker 3: That was textbook.
- 57:06Speaker 1: Wow.
- 57:06Speaker 3: That made me happy.
- 57:07Speaker 1: I feel like we're so over the moon that we
- 57:09Speaker 1: had a man.
- 57:12Speaker 8: Dirty Middles's hilarious when when he first answered and it
- 57:18Speaker 8: kind of cut off and I heard like the man
- 57:20Speaker 8: voice and you were like hello as that Brady, and
- 57:23Speaker 8: He's like yeah.
- 57:24Speaker 1: I was like, so, I don't know why I thought this.
- 57:26Speaker 1: For some reason, I was thinking, like someone's stitched up
- 57:28Speaker 1: their friends. Yeah, like because we're so we're so ten
- 57:32Speaker 1: toes down on our women audience and we're just like
- 57:36Speaker 1: the bad is bad as bad. He's and obviously like
- 57:37Speaker 1: you can be a man, to be a baddie. I
- 57:38Speaker 1: just was thinking, like he's about to be like, who
- 57:40Speaker 1: are you?
- 57:42Speaker 3: I'm hoping from this or I'm assuming there's more now listens,
- 57:46Speaker 3: there's gonna be some Yeah, link your number in the
- 57:48Speaker 3: description and we want to call you.
- 57:49Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was obviously all the women baddies
- 57:52Speaker 1: of course, yeah yeah yeah, but that was fucking amazing.
- 57:56Speaker 1: Everyone leave a comment for Brady.
- 57:57Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, we love Brady, Tom Brady, Brady, we should
- 58:01Speaker 3: ask if you're single, we should what do you reckon?
- 58:03Speaker 1: That was Tom Brady? Oh no, head knows the accident.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Thanks Baddy, We love yeah, stay bad
