- 2:13Sean McAllister: Welcome to episode 143 of Vegas Revealed.
- 2:16Sean McAllister: Sean McAllister here along with Dana Roselli.
- 2:19Sean McAllister: And the holiday season is here, Dana.
- 2:22Sean McAllister: I just saw half a Christmas tree up at the mall.
- 2:25Dayna Roselli: Half a Christmas tree.
- 2:26Sean McAllister: Half a Christmas tree.
- 2:27Dayna Roselli: Well, I went to Macy's before my trip to London, and it's all decked out in Christmas decor.
- 2:32Dayna Roselli: I couldn't believe it.
- 2:33Dayna Roselli: It really is.
- 2:34Dayna Roselli: The Macy's at Fashion Show Mall.
- 2:36Dayna Roselli: Yep.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: Jeez.
- 2:37Dayna Roselli: Isn't that unbelievable?
- 2:38Dayna Roselli: It gets earlier and earlier and earlier.
- 2:41Sean McAllister: And like And I know there's at least one radio station here in Las Vegas that's already playing Christmas music 24-7.
- 2:50Dayna Roselli: They do that every year.
- 2:52Dayna Roselli: Some people love it.
- 2:53Dayna Roselli: They do.
- 2:54Dayna Roselli: Over at the shops at Crystals, they did a Christmas tree lighting over there.
- 2:58Dayna Roselli: They've got a Swartzky Crystal uh tree over there.
- 3:01Dayna Roselli: Absolutely beautiful.
- 3:02Dayna Roselli: That's right next to Aria at City Center.
- 3:05Dayna Roselli: If you want to go check that out, if you're coming into Vegas over the holidays, it's stunning.
- 3:09Sean McAllister: And then uh coming up in our tips at the end of the podcast, you'll want to stick around because we have another uh holiday pop-up activity that uh you'll definitely enjoy.
- 3:21Sean McAllister: I know I'm looking forward to it.
- 3:23Dayna Roselli: It's very unique, let's put it that way, right?
- 3:25Dayna Roselli: It is.
- 3:26Dayna Roselli: And just a quick shout-out to everyone that's been writing us messages lately, telling us that they're listening to the podcast, giving us tips on things they want to hear about.
- 3:33Dayna Roselli: It's been so helpful.
- 3:34Dayna Roselli: Had one of our listeners send us an article about Adele and her residency, it that was in the Financial Times.
- 3:41Dayna Roselli: Uh, had someone write us and say, Yes, we do want to hear a podcast that includes like affordable things to do in Vegas if you're coming in from out of the country, because they come for a longer period of time.
- 3:54Dayna Roselli: Like they make a whole 10-day, 12-day trip out of it, and um are looking forward to learning more about some like fancy dinners that are a little bit more affordable, like not so crazy.
- 4:07Dayna Roselli: And we've already been bouncing ideas off each other, but we're gonna need to sit down and plan that one out.
- 4:11Dayna Roselli: So that will be coming soon.
- 4:12Sean McAllister: It will.
- 4:14Sean McAllister: Um something else that is now available for everyone to go and experience is the new show Awakening over at Win Las Vegas.
- 4:25Sean McAllister: We've been talking about this, and we have finally gone to see it on the premiere night.
- 4:31Sean McAllister: And wow.
- 4:33Dayna Roselli: Yeah, right?
- 4:34Dayna Roselli: Wow.
- 4:34Dayna Roselli: People see keep saying, How was it?
- 4:36Dayna Roselli: And I say, You gotta listen to the podcast.
- 4:37Dayna Roselli: But then my one answer is stunning.
- 4:39Sean McAllister: It is, you know.
- 4:40Sean McAllister: The production was just as over the top and uh incredibly technical and visually stunning as I was expecting.
- 4:53Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 4:54Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we went to, like you said, opening night, premiere night.
- 4:57Dayna Roselli: There was a great party beforehand and cocktails and food for days and a great crowd of people.
- 5:03Dayna Roselli: Uh the producers and creators were there.
- 5:05Dayna Roselli: Then we went in to watch the show, and you know, they had told us that they kept the theater in the round, but they made some obviously some major changes too.
- 5:14Dayna Roselli: But still, that theater, when I walked in, I was like, this is in it, and I'll still say it, it's my favorite theater.
- 5:20Dayna Roselli: There's not a bad seat.
- 5:21Sean McAllister: There isn't.
- 5:22Sean McAllister: Yeah, I mean, because all that's in front of you is the stage.
- 5:26Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 5:26Dayna Roselli: It's just, it was great.
- 5:28Dayna Roselli: And the way the show worked, it was like things were like spinning and turning.
- 5:31Dayna Roselli: And so you never you never missed anything.
- 5:33Dayna Roselli: It just depended, you know, what side you were sitting on, of like someone came out in a corner, if they were on your side or the other side.
- 5:40Dayna Roselli: But it was like you could look straight ahead and see someone on the other side, or you could look to your left and they would be next to you.
- 5:45Dayna Roselli: So it's just a beautiful theater.
- 5:47Dayna Roselli: They kept it just as beautiful.
- 5:49Dayna Roselli: Um, added the little speakers next to our ears.
- 5:52Dayna Roselli: So when you sit in your seat, you'll see like something coming out right near your ear, and it's the sound system they were talking about.
- 5:59Sean McAllister: Yeah, and they did make an announcement before the show to explain to you that uh if you lean forward in your seat, you're not going to hear some of the little audio effects that are coming through those speakers that are on either side.
- 6:13Sean McAllister: So they were like, you know, you don't have to like press yourself to the back of the seat, but you know, sit back, make sure you're between those speakers so that you get the full audio experience that they've designed.
- 6:24Sean McAllister: Right.
- 6:25Dayna Roselli: Um, it was beautiful, and we can get more into detail about that.
- 6:28Dayna Roselli: The one takeaway that I think you, me, uh, the people we were with, other people we were chatting with on the way out, um, just a little constructive, I guess, criticism.
- 6:38Dayna Roselli: And I don't even know if it's criticism.
- 6:40Dayna Roselli: We did say we felt like the storyline was a little hard to follow.
- 6:45Dayna Roselli: I felt like I was still trying to figure out exactly what was happening through the entire show.
- 6:51Dayna Roselli: Um and other people agreed, but then Sean, you have a great tip to go along with that because you said, hey, I flipped through the program after the show and And it in one or two sentences explains what's going on in every scene of the show.
- 7:11Sean McAllister: Right.
- 7:11Sean McAllister: And after I read that, I mean it took less than two minutes to flip through and read it, and I probably should have done that as I sat down in my seat, but we just came from the the cocktail party, and I wasn't in a yeah, I wasn't thinking about sitting down to read the program.
- 7:28Dayna Roselli: Well, and I don't think anyone was, and because we might we might also want to add the show was supposed to start at a certain time, but by the time everyone was getting out of the party, there was a delay.
- 7:36Dayna Roselli: They had made an announcement like, don't worry, we're not gonna start until this time.
- 7:39Dayna Roselli: I think it was supposed to start at 7.15, and then it didn't start until about 740, which was fine.
- 7:43Dayna Roselli: But I think because of that, the little bit of a backup and a little bit of the rush to get to our seats and get situated, a lot of people might not have flipped through the program before the show.
- 7:53Sean McAllister: Right.
- 7:54Sean McAllister: So that is my tip.
- 7:55Sean McAllister: If you just make sure when you go to awakening, take the time when you go and sit down, make sure that you have time to flip through and just read that little synopsis about each scene because it is great supplemental information to what is going on in front of you.
- 8:17Sean McAllister: And there is narration throughout that explains uh the storyline as well.
- 8:23Sean McAllister: Yeah, but these little descriptions, uh it was like got it.
- 8:28Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 8:29Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 8:29Dayna Roselli: I mean, and Anthony Hopkins narrates it, which was great.
- 8:32Dayna Roselli: And we did look up price point, right?
- 8:33Dayna Roselli: And it starts at like 114.
- 8:35Sean McAllister: The 114, I believe, was the yeah, the where the prices start for tickets.
- 8:40Sean McAllister: But again, there's no bad seat in that theater.
- 8:43Dayna Roselli: No.
- 8:43Dayna Roselli: And I know the produ one of the producers on the way out was saying, give me your feedback.
- 8:47Dayna Roselli: I mean, they're gonna make adjustments, they're gonna take feedback like this and probably continue to make it better.
- 8:53Dayna Roselli: I feel like all the shows in Las Vegas kind of start out one way and then, you know, make tweaks and then they kind of have another unveiling, and you're like, oh my gosh, this is a major improvement.
- 9:01Dayna Roselli: But you know, when you're putting something together of that magnitude, but it was stunning.
- 9:06Dayna Roselli: The sound effects, the lights, that glass stage.
- 9:08Sean McAllister: Oh my gosh, and the layers.
- 9:10Sean McAllister: The stage is phenomenal.
- 9:12Sean McAllister: It it makes the way that they maneuver the stage during the show, it does make you feel like you're going into these different realms of being.
- 9:23Sean McAllister: That's part of the show, going through different realms of uh elements, and the stage does a fantastic job.
- 9:32Sean McAllister: The the large-scale uh puppetry characters that are in this show are phenomenal.
- 9:40Sean McAllister: The whale?
- 9:40Sean McAllister: The whale, the whale that swims around the entire theater.
- 9:46Sean McAllister: I mean, there's a an entire underwater scene that really makes you feel like you are underwater.
- 9:52Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 9:53Sean McAllister: It was visually just incredible.
- 9:56Sean McAllister: Yeah, yeah.
- 9:57Dayna Roselli: It just, yeah, it really, really was.
- 9:59Dayna Roselli: It was like I don't know, you were transported to another place.
- 10:03Sean McAllister: And a pretty uh large cast when they came out uh to do the curtain call all at the same time at the end, and incredible dancers, performers, uh acrobats.
- 10:16Sean McAllister: They it was a extremely talented cast all the way around.
- 10:20Dayna Roselli: It really was.
- 10:21Dayna Roselli: I really liked that like little samurai-ish scene.
- 10:24Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 10:25Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that was cool with the light up sticks and kind of lightsaber y kind of thing.
- 10:30Dayna Roselli: Sound effects kind of went with it.
- 10:32Dayna Roselli: And I thought the the soundtrack, I guess is what you would call it, that went along it was was good.
- 10:37Dayna Roselli: It was like heart pounding.
- 10:38Sean McAllister: It was, and you know what it made me think about the the way that they have uh the way that they use video screens and lighting and music throughout the show, it kind of felt like that was pulling from the influence that Wyn has had in the nightlife arena.
- 10:57Sean McAllister: There there were some definite like nightlife, nightclub kind of effects that uh made me go, okay, this is like building pace and building energy.
- 11:10Sean McAllister: And it was that was really fantastic.
- 11:13Dayna Roselli: It was, it was.
- 11:14Dayna Roselli: Listen, if you go to the show, there's no doubt you're gonna love it and you're gonna be uh taken back by the visuals and the way that this whole production was put together.
- 11:23Dayna Roselli: It's absolutely beautiful.
- 11:25Dayna Roselli: We hope everyone gets a chance to go see it and just be inside this theater and have a great night because you know the whole experience is really, you know, what you want when you come to spend money on a Vegas show.
- 11:38Dayna Roselli: And I think that theater mixed in with the the visuals, the production, the actual show itself is great.
- 11:44Dayna Roselli: I think, like you said, Sean, read through the program ahead of time and that will definitely help.
- 11:49Sean McAllister: Yes.
- 11:50Sean McAllister: And I've had a a couple cast members actually uh write to me on Instagram after some of the videos that that we put out on our Vegas Revealed account.
- 11:59Sean McAllister: Um and they were like, So what did you think?
- 12:01Sean McAllister: What did you think?
- 12:02Sean McAllister: And so I know all of the casting crew, everybody who's worked so hard to open the show now that it's finally open, really eager to to hear the the feedback and see how their hard work is paying off.
- 12:17Sean McAllister: So congratulations to everyone involved.
- 12:20Dayna Roselli: Yeah, state-of-the-art show, that's for sure.
- 12:22Dayna Roselli: If you want to come see something you probably will not see anywhere else, go to awakening at the win.
- 12:28Dayna Roselli: The win always does it right.
- 12:30Sean McAllister: We have some music news to share that we're pretty darn excited about.
- 12:34Sean McAllister: Keith Urban, country superstar, coming back to Vegas with an all-new residency.
- 12:40Dayna Roselli: I know this is great because Keith has performed at the Coliseum at Caesar's Palace many, many times.
- 12:46Dayna Roselli: But now he's got kind of like his own thing going at Zappos.
- 12:50Dayna Roselli: I mean, that was his own thing too, but this is more of like I guess a show that's going to be fitted for Zappos theater.
- 12:57Dayna Roselli: You know, something he's gonna be able to create and do continuously.
- 13:01Sean McAllister: Yes, I know over at uh the Coliseum where Keith's last show was, um that was uh the first show that uh reopened the Coliseum after they did all those renovations.
- 13:15Sean McAllister: Oh yeah.
- 13:16Sean McAllister: And uh so Keith's show reopened the Coliseum, and that was a great show, great energy.
- 13:24Sean McAllister: He is just such an incredible live performer.
- 13:28Sean McAllister: Right.
- 13:29Sean McAllister: And his voice is great, the music is great, he brings great energy to the stage, he has fun with the audience.
- 13:35Sean McAllister: Um so having him over at Zappos Theater, and we know the Zappos Theater is kind of like a party theater.
- 13:43Sean McAllister: Yes, right?
- 13:44Sean McAllister: Yeah, and so I think he's gonna have a great time over there putting a show together that is like a big party.
- 13:50Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 13:51Dayna Roselli: And he's doing 16 dates, you know, to start, because he could extend, but they're like March through July 1st.
- 13:56Dayna Roselli: So he's gonna be busy over there doing this over and over.
- 13:59Dayna Roselli: And I love how many country artists are going into Zappos lately, too.
- 14:03Dayna Roselli: I mean, because Shania was over there, and then Miranda Lambert now has a residency, and now Keith Urban.
- 14:08Sean McAllister: Yeah, I we need uh a big old honky tonk.
- 14:12Sean McAllister: We need a honky tonk residency with all of them, and I have a rotate.
- 14:16Sean McAllister: I've long said I know you have whether it's called a grand old opery residency or just a honky tonk, we need a residency where it's just a rotating roster of country stars who come and play when they're available, and that would be so much fun.
- 14:35Dayna Roselli: It really would.
- 14:36Sean McAllister: But we do love the the solo acts that have their own residencies too.
- 14:40Dayna Roselli: And I feel like a lot of shows have been announced for March just this week in the last week.
- 14:46Dayna Roselli: Yeah, everyone's like March, March, March.
- 14:47Dayna Roselli: So it looks like things are really gonna be kicking up with a little bit of change and new shows coming in, and uh, you know, the ones that kind of revolve in the March time period of 2023.
- 14:57Sean McAllister: Yep, we've definitely got a lot of new entertainment coming to Las Vegas in the new year, which I love.
- 15:02Dayna Roselli: And speaking of that, um, this is something you don't hear of every day.
- 15:08Dayna Roselli: Now, brunch has always kind of been a thing, right?
- 15:12Dayna Roselli: In Las Vegas and everywhere, really.
- 15:14Sean McAllister: Yeah, and uh it's become way more popular over the last few years.
- 15:18Sean McAllister: Here in Vegas, we've seen a lot of drag brunches popping up.
- 15:22Sean McAllister: That's been kind of the latest wave of the brunch experience.
- 15:26Sean McAllister: But now there's something even more different than that.
- 15:29Dayna Roselli: Yeah, Sean, have you ever dined with the departed?
- 15:32Sean McAllister: I have not.
- 15:33Dayna Roselli: Well, we don't know really.
- 15:34Dayna Roselli: Well, I guess, yeah.
- 15:35Dayna Roselli: They could have been around us the whole time.
- 15:37Sean McAllister: Someone could have bellied up to the bar next to me.
- 15:39Dayna Roselli: Well, now that this is a way you can find out who is in the room.
- 15:43Dayna Roselli: It's a one-of-a-kind brunch.
- 15:45Dayna Roselli: It's taking place over at the palms.
- 15:47Dayna Roselli: Now it may be too late to go this weekend, but there are dates in December and January too.
- 15:53Sean McAllister: We went over to the Palms to find out what Brunched by an Angel is all about.
- 15:59Sean McAllister: So, Dana, we're here at the Palms now with Shane Farley, producer of Brunched by an Angel, along with Lori Ann Manns, one of the psychic mediums at the show.
- 16:09Sean McAllister: And uh, Shane, I want to start with you.
- 16:12Sean McAllister: What can people expect from Brunch by an Angel?
- 16:17Sean McAllister: What's the experience going to be like?
- 16:19SPEAKER_03: Well, first of all, it's gonna be amazing.
- 16:21SPEAKER_03: That's number one.
- 16:22SPEAKER_03: The space that we're in at Chaos is gorgeous, the food is fantastic, and imagine imagine sitting down at a meal and being visited by like a grandmother who passed, or somebody really special in your life.
- 16:35SPEAKER_03: That it's gonna happen all the entire show from top to bottom.
- 16:40SPEAKER_03: So just just think like you are having French toast and you're drinking mimosa, and um a friend that you haven't seen in a long time stops by to give you a message, and that's what's gonna be happening.
- 16:54Dayna Roselli: I mean, I can only imagine that.
- 16:56Dayna Roselli: I mean, I know that there have been shows similar to that, but this is a whole experience with the brunch and the different time of day, and I feel like maybe even do you feel like sometimes people's even mindset is a little bit different when you're doing kind of an afternoon thing like that and you're coming and you're mingling with friends and you're eating.
- 17:12Dayna Roselli: Is it does it bring in anything else, Laura?
- 17:16SPEAKER_01: I think it depends on the openness of all the people that are there.
- 17:20SPEAKER_01: You know, the openness, if you're open, you're opening up yourself to have any experience of any kind, really.
- 17:26SPEAKER_01: And being with Brunch by an Angel, you have three mediums on a stage, your odds are much better to get a reading than if you're going to see someone at one singular medium, okay, and then you have, you know, what 300, 400 people there, you're gonna do maybe as a medium, you're only gonna do 12 connections.
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: Well, now you're gonna be we're gonna be doing what, 30 to 50?
- 17:47SPEAKER_01: I mean, your odds, this is Vegas, so your odds are much better coming to the show getting your reading at that type of a cost with three of the best mediums in the world.
- 17:56Dayna Roselli: Well, and I can only imagine emotions are high during some I mean, do you see it all?
- 18:01Dayna Roselli: I mean, people that laugh, do you cry, all of it?
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: Yes, do you see it all?
- 18:05SPEAKER_01: Um it's it's supposed to be really healing.
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: Um, so you you know you have to be careful as a medium because you have to watch and be careful of the person that's getting that reading and watch the state they're in as you're giving in the evidence because it can really it can really crack in a good way and really allow that person to heal at a level that even with them coming thinking, oh, this is Vegas, okay, that they could get this healing from this evidence that you know maybe they didn't know what to think of it when they got here.
- 18:36SPEAKER_03: You know, watching Lori Ann, Christopher, and Reginald do what they do, they're able to oftentimes in one conversation do what it takes a therapist months and even years to do.
- 18:46SPEAKER_03: They could res like they can if sometimes people are carrying around something where they're like they're trying to get to the hospital to say goodbye to a grandparent and they get caught in traffic, and then they they they live the rest of their life, you know, you know, just crushed about that they didn't have that moment.
- 19:01SPEAKER_03: Did my grandmother know I was on my way?
- 19:03SPEAKER_03: And to watch them in one conversation give somebody peace, and that happens throughout this entire room, through the entire brunch, and it's really special to watch.
- 19:13SPEAKER_03: It's incredible.
- 19:13SPEAKER_03: And Lorianne touched upon it.
- 19:14SPEAKER_03: It's like a lot of times you go to these psychic medium shows and you're one of 3,000 people.
- 19:19SPEAKER_03: You don't get read and you don't get fed.
- 19:21SPEAKER_03: At our show, both happen.
- 19:24Sean McAllister: Well, and and i i I've never heard of the the marriage of brunch and psychic medium readings.
- 19:33Sean McAllister: Where where did this idea, this concept come from?
- 19:37Sean McAllister: How did it originate?
- 19:39SPEAKER_03: You know what?
- 19:39SPEAKER_03: It's a and that's a great question.
- 19:40SPEAKER_03: And and so if you think of the memories that you have with family that's no longer around or your closest friends, a lot of times those memories are in the kitchen, they're at a restaurant, they involve food, they're at holidays, right?
- 19:52SPEAKER_03: So if we're gonna do this and we're gonna bring people together with the ones that they love the most that they can't see anymore, let's do it over food.
- 19:59SPEAKER_03: And who doesn't love brunch?
- 20:01SPEAKER_03: Lori loves pancakes.
- 20:01SPEAKER_03: You like pancakes?
- 20:03SPEAKER_03: I love pancakes, you guys love pancakes.
- 20:05SPEAKER_03: Everybody loves it.
- 20:06SPEAKER_03: Mimosas, bacon, let's just have a good time and let's connect people with what they and and put around them what they love the most.
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: It's like it's like connecting your loved ones over the dinner the dining table is what it is.
- 20:19SPEAKER_01: I mean, where does everybody eat in your home?
- 20:21SPEAKER_01: Around the kitchen table, right?
- 20:22SPEAKER_01: Anytime you have a party at your house, it's around the kitchen table.
- 20:25SPEAKER_01: So, what a better concept other than let's give them food, some mimosas, and let's gather with all of our family members around our table.
- 20:32SPEAKER_01: Brunch by an angel's table.
- 20:35Sean McAllister: And uh Lorianne, you s you mentioned that it all comes down to how open people are to the experience.
- 20:43Sean McAllister: Do you think bottomless mimosas are going to help people be a little more open?
- 20:48SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 20:50SPEAKER_01: Absolutely, I feel that will help.
- 20:52SPEAKER_01: I mean, think about it, it'll help them relax.
- 20:53SPEAKER_01: When you get there and you you're experiencing something like this, you come to one of these, you're very, very hopeful that you will be the one that gets that reading.
- 21:01SPEAKER_01: Okay?
- 21:02SPEAKER_01: So I imagine with the food and the it's comfort, is it not?
- 21:05SPEAKER_01: It's comfort.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: So you're gonna be able to eat and drink your mimosas and you're gonna be comfortable.
- 21:12SPEAKER_01: Oh Rob Lewis.
- 21:14SPEAKER_01: We have Rob Lewis behind us in our in the with the music.
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: And so it's it's a whole show.
- 21:19SPEAKER_01: It's not just, you know, just psychic standing on a stage and and looking for someone to read.
- 21:25SPEAKER_01: This is an entire experience between your your brunch, your mimosas, your mediums, your music.
- 21:30SPEAKER_01: It's an entire show.
- 21:31SPEAKER_01: It's a Vegas show.
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: So come in.
- 21:34Dayna Roselli: It's so cool.
- 21:35Dayna Roselli: I love this.
- 21:35Dayna Roselli: I mean, I feel like we've lived here a very long time, and I don't feel like we've ever heard anything like this.
- 21:41Dayna Roselli: So this is a brand new experience, and I love that.
- 21:43Dayna Roselli: What do you say to the skeptics?
- 21:45Dayna Roselli: I'm sure you get it.
- 21:46Dayna Roselli: But there's also, if you're gonna buy a ticket and you're gonna go, you may be a little skeptical, but you're there for a reason, don't you think?
- 21:52SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 21:52SPEAKER_01: I would tell them to come with their hearts and their minds wide open because love is what makes this work.
- 21:57SPEAKER_01: It's not the medium, love is the connection.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Between those in the spirit world and those who want to join the show.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: And we need your openness to come in and be able to connect with your loved ones.
- 22:10SPEAKER_01: They can come anyway, but it's a heck of a lot easier if you come with an open mind and open heart.
- 22:15SPEAKER_01: I always say, you know, there's a rainbow between your loved one's heart, who's in the spirit world, and yours, and we just get to read the musical notes on the rainbow.
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:28SPEAKER_03: That's my favorite.
- 22:29SPEAKER_03: That's my favorite.
- 22:30SPEAKER_03: And that's why I wanted to do the show.
- 22:32SPEAKER_03: I'm a television producer and I've seen some of the best psychic mediums connect people, and that's really, really exciting.
- 22:38SPEAKER_03: And these three are incredible.
- 22:40SPEAKER_03: And when they talk to someone who didn't believe, and then all of a sudden there's no denying that there's information that there could, there's no possible way they could have.
- 22:48SPEAKER_03: It's just I it never gets old for me.
- 22:51SPEAKER_03: I can watch it all day long, and that's why we're here because it just everybody is gonna get a chance to see that.
- 22:57Dayna Roselli: We've been in TV a long time too, and we always say that's good TV, right?
- 23:00Sean McAllister: It's great TV.
- 23:02Sean McAllister: And Shane, do you think that um bringing this show to Las Vegas is it creating a little bit of a brunch turf war with the drag queens?
- 23:13SPEAKER_03: You know, it might be.
- 23:14SPEAKER_03: And you know the thing is it's like if you want to see drag queens lip sync the same song a hundred times, then you go see it.
- 23:19SPEAKER_03: But if you want the see, the beauty about this show is that it's new every time.
- 23:24SPEAKER_03: We're not doing the same jokes and this and the same lip syncing.
- 23:27SPEAKER_03: Every time it's a new show, and that's what's so special.
- 23:30SPEAKER_03: So if you're local and you want to and you have family coming to visit, you take them here every time because the spirits that come and visit are different because of the audience is different.
- 23:39SPEAKER_03: So you have to come check it out.
- 23:41Dayna Roselli: And I know you guys have shows this weekend, you've got some in December and January.
- 23:44Dayna Roselli: If it goes over well, people are loving it.
- 23:46Dayna Roselli: Is this something that could extend?
- 23:48SPEAKER_03: A hundred percent.
- 23:50SPEAKER_03: We you know, it's funny.
- 23:51SPEAKER_03: We have to show Vegas that we belong here.
- 23:54SPEAKER_03: You know, the psychic mediums already know we're staying.
- 23:58SPEAKER_03: So, like, so what because when I first called Lorianne, she's like, we're not going anywhere.
- 24:02SPEAKER_03: And it's just like, so now we need everybody else to catch up and understand that, and that's what's gonna happen.
- 24:07Sean McAllister: Yeah, well, we appreciate, we can't wait to sit down and experience the environment of dining with the departed.
- 24:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I love it.
- 24:16Dayna Roselli: Love the slogan.
- 24:17SPEAKER_01: Some of your loved ones may come through.
- 24:19SPEAKER_01: Let's hope they do for you.
- 24:20Dayna Roselli: Definitely.
- 24:21Dayna Roselli: Thank you guys so much.
- 24:22Dayna Roselli: We look forward to it.
- 24:24Dayna Roselli: Future dates for brunch by an angel, December 10th and 11th, and then January 14th and 15th.
- 24:31Dayna Roselli: So it sounds like uh it's definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
- 24:37Sean McAllister: Yeah, absolutely.
- 24:38Sean McAllister: And people love medium readings and all that.
- 24:40Sean McAllister: So I think that's it's unique and and people will really enjoy it.
- 24:45Dayna Roselli: Yeah, something different.
- 24:46Dayna Roselli: We always like, you know, folks coming up with different ideas for Vegas.
- 24:50Dayna Roselli: Vegas should be a place that you go and experience something that you've never experienced before.
- 24:54Sean McAllister: And it is certainly the place to do that.
- 24:57Dayna Roselli: Brunched by an angel.
- 24:58Sean McAllister: Let's get to some tips.
- 25:04Dayna Roselli: Okay, Sean, a lot of people have been waiting for this one, a popular restaurant that's been in Vegas for a very long time and is known for celebrity sightings, and known for being on those lists, the top list of best places to eat in Las Vegas, restaurants that people talk about, restaurants with the great food.
- 25:23Dayna Roselli: I think it's been on food shows.
- 25:24Dayna Roselli: We're talking about Lotus of Siam.
- 25:26Sean McAllister: Yeah, James Beard Award-winning restaurant, which is like the Oscars Academy Awards of the food world.
- 25:32Dayna Roselli: Right, right.
- 25:33Dayna Roselli: I mean, this is uh someplace that people love to go to when they visit Las Vegas, and also locals like to go to.
- 25:40Dayna Roselli: And we had talked about that it was going to Red Rock resort and casino, and it's officially open.
- 25:47Dayna Roselli: So this is a big tip.
- 25:48Dayna Roselli: If you want to check out Lotus of Siam, a great Thai restaurant, it is officially open.
- 25:54Dayna Roselli: Now, I went to the opening, and you can go to our Instagram, our Vegas revealed Instagram.
- 26:01Dayna Roselli: We'll probably put some stuff on our Twitter too, and we have video inside that showcases the beautiful restaurant and all the food that they have to offer.
- 26:11Sean McAllister: Yeah, it looks beautiful, and I think that's definitely going to become uh one of the go-to spots over at Red Rock, and really all on the west side of the Las Vegas Valley.
- 26:22Sean McAllister: Uh, and also be sure to check our Instagram for a place that I just popped into.
- 26:28Sean McAllister: It is the Bad Elf Pop-Up Bar over at the Silverton Hotel and Casino.
- 26:35Sean McAllister: And this is uh south.
- 26:37Sean McAllister: As you're if you're coming into Las Vegas from Southern California, or as if you're coming up to 15, you hit the Silverton uh before you get to the main resort corridor, and they have this lounge called Shady Grove Lounge that at Christmas time transforms into a naughty version of uh a holiday bar.
- 27:04Dayna Roselli: I love how they call it it's home to all rebels without a clause.
- 27:08Sean McAllister: It's very clever, very clever.
- 27:10Dayna Roselli: It is, it is.
- 27:11Dayna Roselli: I mean, this place looked cool.
- 27:12Dayna Roselli: I couldn't make it, and you went over there, and boy, the decorations and the video that we have up on our Instagram.
- 27:20Dayna Roselli: I was looking at it, I was like, I need to head down.
- 27:21Dayna Roselli: It definitely looks like a fun place.
- 27:23Dayna Roselli: You guys had fun, right?
- 27:24Sean McAllister: Oh, so much fun.
- 27:25Sean McAllister: And they have this uh airstream trailer that's all decked out in it's snow-covered trees and elves.
- 27:33Sean McAllister: Santa and his reindeer are up on the roof.
- 27:36Sean McAllister: So I mean they have uh they have the holiday spirit nailed, and of course they have uh great cocktails and holiday fare.
- 27:47Sean McAllister: So um go to our Instagram, check out uh the experience over at Bad Elf Papa Bar over at the Silverton.
- 27:56Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and if you're looking to do something different around the holidays, this is definitely a place you want to hit.
- 28:00Dayna Roselli: And I was looking at the cocktail menu, uh the full menu, Sean, and I was looking at the names, and I love it.
- 28:06Dayna Roselli: They got the Grinch shot, the naughty butter beer, which is vanilla vodka butterscotch, and root beer garnished with whipped cream and sugar crystals.
- 28:16Dayna Roselli: That sounds delicious.
- 28:18Dayna Roselli: And so different.
- 28:18Dayna Roselli: I've never heard anything like that.
- 28:20Dayna Roselli: I love the root beer part.
- 28:22Dayna Roselli: I think that's so cool with vanilla vodka.
- 28:25Dayna Roselli: I love it.
- 28:25Dayna Roselli: So uh spicy apple cider, they got a candy cane, a poinsetta, which is champagne with a splash of cranberry juice.
- 28:31Dayna Roselli: So check it out.
- 28:32Dayna Roselli: If you love your cocktails and you want to really get festive, go over there.
- 28:35Sean McAllister: And uh Bad Elf is going to be popped up over at the Silverton through January 2nd.
- 28:41Sean McAllister: Perfect.
- 28:42Dayna Roselli: Hey, listen, download the Vegas Near Me app.
- 28:45Dayna Roselli: It is now available.
- 28:46Dayna Roselli: You gotta have iOS 16, but it's got everything Las Vegas in there, and you know I love to talk about how accurate the hours are on all the things because I'm always running around town and I feel like I hate pulling in someplace that I think is open and then it's closed.
- 29:00Dayna Roselli: It's so frustrating.
- 29:01Dayna Roselli: But they've been working around the clock for a very long time to get all the hours precise.
- 29:05Dayna Roselli: You can book an Uber in there, you can find attractions, you can find restaurants, hotels, you can book travel, and you can find parking too, which is great.
- 29:14Dayna Roselli: So you know ahead of time, is it gonna cost you?
- 29:17Dayna Roselli: Where should I park?
- 29:18Dayna Roselli: Should I go to the garage?
- 29:19Dayna Roselli: Should I valet?
- 29:20Dayna Roselli: Kind of map it out for you.
- 29:21Sean McAllister: And by the way, uh Las Vegas locals, if you look in the parking section on the Vegas Near Me app, they let you know how long at each property locals get to park for free.
- 29:35Sean McAllister: Whether it's one hour, two hours, three hours.
- 29:38Sean McAllister: Um, so that information, they've also take pride in getting all of that as current as it possibly can too.
- 29:46Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 29:47Dayna Roselli: I love that.
- 29:47Dayna Roselli: I love that.
- 29:48Dayna Roselli: Listen, that's a podcast, everyone.
- 29:50Dayna Roselli: Thanks for joining us.
- 29:51Dayna Roselli: We'll see you next.
- 29:52Dayna Roselli: Well, you'll hear we I always say we'll see you.
- 29:54Sean McAllister: Yeah, well, I'll I'll see you.
- 29:56Dayna Roselli: You'll see me.
- 29:57Dayna Roselli: I'll see you.
- 29:58Dayna Roselli: But they'll hear us.
- 30:00Sean McAllister: We'll all be together again next week.
- 30:02Dayna Roselli: Next week.
- 30:02Dayna Roselli: Have a good one.
- 30:03SPEAKER_00: Drive on through the night.
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: The desert sky is cold, but then the eyes will ride.
- 30:09SPEAKER_00: Flying on a Friday and the baby banster.
