- 0:09Speaker 1: Ye shoe, it's.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Time he level.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Welcome to the Nordobnham, your hostructure. And it is Wednesday,
- 0:19Speaker 3: which means our dear friend Donny Meacham is joining us. Hey, Donnie,
- 0:23Speaker 3: are you there?
- 0:23Speaker 2: Hello?
- 0:24Speaker 1: Low Donny Meacham marking himself safe from the storm. That
- 0:29Speaker 1: is La. We are underwater actually looks like a river.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Now, it's no I know, I just sort of smiled
- 0:37Speaker 3: about it, Donnie, but it's actually quite serious now wild.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Yeah, we've literally we've gotten at least like eight inches
- 0:43Speaker 1: of rain, which in New York that's like a Tuesday
- 0:46Speaker 1: or nothing. Now that it would be here. It's like
- 0:48Speaker 1: our infrastructure can't handle. It's not cut out for it.
- 0:51Speaker 3: It's not cut out for it. Well, if you're listening
- 0:53Speaker 3: and you need a place to go in La, go
- 0:55Speaker 3: to Donnie's apartment. It is nine nos Ark, two by two,
- 0:58Speaker 3: two by two. Okay, let's jump into the show. Well,
- 1:01Speaker 3: before we do jump in the show, I have to
- 1:03Speaker 3: give a shout out. A lot of you dmd ME
- 1:05Speaker 3: got in touch with me. My husband Bruce had his
- 1:07Speaker 3: caricature unveiled at Sardis. Sardis is a really legendary theater restaurant.
- 1:11Speaker 3: It really is. It's old school. If ever you're in
- 1:13Speaker 3: New York and you want to experience theater and show
- 1:17Speaker 3: this and sort of legacy, go to Sardis. So on
- 1:20Speaker 3: the walls they have caricatures of legends up there. They
- 1:24Speaker 3: asked Bruce if he'd like to have his caricature up
- 1:26Speaker 3: and it was unveiled. It's so great. So he's been
- 1:29Speaker 3: on TV. I think I saw him on the ten
- 1:31Speaker 3: o'clock news, and I think he was on Good Day
- 1:33Speaker 3: New York and so a lot of people were like,
- 1:34Speaker 3: wellhy is he loan on the Norny minishow and.
- 1:37Speaker 2: So he is.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Congratulations Bruce, and thank you, thank you, thank you to Sardis.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Sometimes I forget, Donnie, we listened to in over one
- 1:45Speaker 3: hundred and fifty countries. We have millions, and that is
- 1:49Speaker 3: really the number millions of listeners. We're a top ten podcast,
- 1:55Speaker 3: and I sometimes forget to use our own power to
- 2:00Speaker 3: plug things that are important to us, and Bruce and
- 2:03Speaker 3: Sardis are important to me. Before you say a word
- 2:06Speaker 3: plucking anything, Donnie, we've got to move on to save
- 2:08Speaker 3: the thought. No, you can pluck whatever you want. What
- 2:10Speaker 3: do you want to pluck?
- 2:11Speaker 1: I just want to plu. I just want to say
- 2:12Speaker 1: thank you to every out there. It's so weird and
- 2:14Speaker 1: you think that. You know, we've been doing this for years,
- 2:17Speaker 1: not just the podcast, but you know, working in this,
- 2:20Speaker 1: you know, celebrity landscape, and you know, sometimes it feels
- 2:24Speaker 1: very solo. It feels like it's just me and you
- 2:26Speaker 1: Rob talking to each other, and it's literally just the
- 2:29Speaker 1: two of us talking to each other. But we forget that.
- 2:31Speaker 1: You know, it's worldwide and you know we but we
- 2:35Speaker 1: also don't take it for granted. We love it and
- 2:38Speaker 1: we appreciate the random messages that we get that are
- 2:42Speaker 1: just so beautiful and so lovely. And I mean, you've
- 2:44Speaker 1: inspired a woman Gale to go out and buy flowers.
- 2:48Speaker 2: We did.
- 2:48Speaker 3: It's not I we did. This is a we show. Okay,
- 2:51Speaker 3: let's jump in. Thank you Sardis again and congratulations to
- 2:54Speaker 3: my husband Bruce. Okay, let's jump into the show. What
- 2:57Speaker 3: time is it, my friends?
- 2:58Speaker 2: It is Tito.
- 3:01Speaker 3: So Prince William and Prince Harry are now in the
- 3:05Speaker 3: same city. Harry has arrived in London, he touched down yesterday.
- 3:10Speaker 3: But will there be any peace? So the recent diagnosis
- 3:15Speaker 3: of their father, King Charles with cancer has brought the
- 3:18Speaker 3: two brothers at least back into the same city. However,
- 3:22Speaker 3: insiders are saying me there has not been a truce yet.
- 3:26Speaker 3: In fact, sources are saying they haven't spoken. So Harry
- 3:30Speaker 3: has spoken to his dad, William has spoken to his dad.
- 3:33Speaker 3: The two brothers have not yet spoken. Now, if you
- 3:37Speaker 3: remember Princess Diana, she raised these two brothers in such
- 3:40Speaker 3: a close knit little community. It was the three of them.
- 3:43Speaker 3: So the fact they haven't spoken now for almost a year,
- 3:46Speaker 3: it's just heartbreaking. William is expected to be the next king.
- 3:51Speaker 3: He will be the next king, and so Harry was
- 3:53Speaker 3: always positioned as a trusted advisor, somebody who would help William.
- 3:58Speaker 3: That clearly is not going to be the case now
- 4:00Speaker 3: their relationship has been strained for years and palace insiders
- 4:05Speaker 3: are really wondering if this health crisis might be a catalyst,
- 4:09Speaker 3: should we say, an olive branch for the two of
- 4:12Speaker 3: them to make peace? So far not happened. What do
- 4:15Speaker 3: you think, you know?
- 4:17Speaker 1: It's I mean, we've said this before and we'll say
- 4:19Speaker 1: it again. It's sad that it takes you know, health
- 4:21Speaker 1: always to bring people together, but the reality of situations
- 4:25Speaker 1: like this is. It can either bring them together because
- 4:28Speaker 1: they'll both realize life is sure, this is silly. What
- 4:30Speaker 1: are we doing? Plus you're about to be king, so
- 4:34Speaker 1: I need to be nice to you. But it can
- 4:37Speaker 1: also do the complete opposite. It can cause even more
- 4:41Speaker 1: resentment William's part because William const Harry and go, dude,
- 4:45Speaker 1: what have you been doing all these years?
- 4:47Speaker 2: That is wrong with you?
- 4:48Speaker 3: You know, if you're listening, carry and William, give your
- 4:51Speaker 3: dad a break. He's got enough on his plate at
- 4:54Speaker 3: the moment. He doesn't have to be worrying about scheduling
- 4:56Speaker 3: and you have to come at noon and you've got
- 4:58Speaker 3: to leave at once so he can arrive at once.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Have you ever done that with your family? You can't
- 5:02Speaker 3: all be in the same room at the same restaurant
- 5:04Speaker 3: and you have to schedule different times, and he's sick.
- 5:08Speaker 3: You know what, though, if this doesn't bring him together,
- 5:11Speaker 3: that's it. This is the moment, don it. We've talked
- 5:14Speaker 3: about this a lot on the show. What could bring
- 5:16Speaker 3: these two brothers together? They were once really really close.
- 5:20Speaker 3: What could bring them together? And often I find in
- 5:22Speaker 3: life it's a tragedy. It's something bad that has made
- 5:26Speaker 3: me closer with family members or friends. I had a
- 5:29Speaker 3: friend who passed away and the group of friends had
- 5:32Speaker 3: sort of drifted apart a little bit. But when we
- 5:34Speaker 3: found out our friend had gone, it brought us back together.
- 5:38Speaker 3: And this silver lining, if that's even the right word
- 5:41Speaker 3: to a tragedy, is that it makes you realize and
- 5:44Speaker 3: appreciate the fact that you live in the Harry William,
- 5:48Speaker 3: I really do hope you've got to see each other.
- 5:50Speaker 3: You're in the same city.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Go for a drink.
- 5:53Speaker 3: If you don't want to go to a pub, I'm
- 5:54Speaker 3: sure they've got a bar somewhere in that palace. Go
- 5:57Speaker 3: and have a cup of tea, call each other.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Text it.
- 6:00Speaker 3: But I think this is important too, because we live
- 6:02Speaker 3: in the age of texting and social media. You've got
- 6:05Speaker 3: to do it face to face. It does make a difference, Donnie,
- 6:07Speaker 3: and I know our young listeners are going to feel
- 6:09Speaker 3: like I'm Grandpa Moses saying that, but it does. It
- 6:12Speaker 3: does make a difference, Donnie. It's so easy to stay
- 6:14Speaker 3: in your room in your apartment and just text people.
- 6:17Speaker 3: You've got to occasionally open up that front door and
- 6:19Speaker 3: walk out.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Yes, the easiest thing to do is if all Harry
- 6:24Speaker 1: has to do is just reach out and say, hey,
- 6:26Speaker 1: I would like to see the kids. That's how you
- 6:28Speaker 1: get them because you take them off guard. You say, hey,
- 6:31Speaker 1: I just want to see the kids, and then you're
- 6:33Speaker 1: in the same room and then you just see what happens.
- 6:35Speaker 3: That's absoactly right, Harry William, I hope you're listening. Okay,
- 6:38Speaker 3: this brings us to our pole question of the day.
- 6:40Speaker 3: William and Harry are in the same city. They're in London,
- 6:43Speaker 3: but yet they have not met up yet. In fact,
- 6:45Speaker 3: they haven't spoken in over a year. Do you think
- 6:48Speaker 3: this awful news about King Charles will change that? Will
- 6:52Speaker 3: this awful, awful news change that? Fingers crosseday? Go vote
- 6:57Speaker 3: on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob Facebook page
- 7:00Speaker 3: which is not to gossip, and be sure to check
- 7:03Speaker 3: that tomorrow to hear your results. Hey Donnie, what are
- 7:07Speaker 3: you working on.
- 7:08Speaker 1: It's a busy week for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey.
- 7:11Speaker 1: You know Travis is getting ready for that, you know
- 7:13Speaker 1: that little game that's happened on Sunday. You know it'll
- 7:16Speaker 1: be fine, very smart. No, the super Bowl. Travis Kelsey
- 7:19Speaker 1: is getting ready. Taylor just one Album of the Year
- 7:22Speaker 1: at the Grammys. Well, Travis is saying that he's actually
- 7:25Speaker 1: heard a sneak peak of Taylor's new album, The Tortured
- 7:29Speaker 1: Poets Department, and he says it's unbelievable. He says, he's
- 7:33Speaker 1: excited She's gonna shake up the world with her music.
- 7:37Speaker 1: And this is super sweet because he could be talking
- 7:41Speaker 1: about football, he could be talking about which he is
- 7:43Speaker 1: as well. Yes, but you know he's out there and
- 7:45Speaker 1: he's supporting her, and you know that to me, it
- 7:50Speaker 1: really means more.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's the fact that she she let him
- 7:53Speaker 3: listen to these songs. She's very private and very secret
- 7:55Speaker 3: here about and she said always frightened Blas rightfully. So,
- 7:58Speaker 3: I mean, she's one of the biggest thing, not the
- 8:00Speaker 3: biggest musician in the world at the moment. So he's
- 8:02Speaker 3: listened to the tracks. I think the seventeen in total.
- 8:05Speaker 2: It's a really.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Brave, vulnerable thing to show your art, to show yourself
- 8:10Speaker 3: to a partner. It's like being naked. I remember the
- 8:13Speaker 3: first time Bruce sent me one of his new songs
- 8:16Speaker 3: before it had been released, and I partially part of
- 8:18Speaker 3: me didn't want to listen to me in case I
- 8:19Speaker 3: didn't like it, because you don't want to like I
- 8:21Speaker 3: loved it, but just like, oh gosh. And so the
- 8:24Speaker 3: fact that she trusts him enough to see this. It's
- 8:27Speaker 3: like if you write a book or something to hand
- 8:30Speaker 3: it over to your friends to get their feedback. It's
- 8:32Speaker 3: a really brave thing to do. So I love that
- 8:34Speaker 3: she trusts him. I love that his response has been fantastic.
- 8:37Speaker 3: And this shows you an intimacy that we've not yet
- 8:40Speaker 3: seen from them. We know that they kiss and hERG
- 8:43Speaker 3: and we know that they're good together. Wise, do they
- 8:45Speaker 3: fit together emotionally? And there's nothing more emotional than writing
- 8:50Speaker 3: a song, putting yourself out there. So I love the
- 8:52Speaker 3: fact she's trusted him with it. It's a brave thing
- 8:55Speaker 3: for her to do. Donnie, though, Yeah.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I mean I'm with you. I don't know if I would,
- 9:02Speaker 1: because I just I get so nervous about what people
- 9:06Speaker 1: close to me think about something, as opposed to everyone
- 9:09Speaker 1: out there. It's like, you know what, this is, what
- 9:10Speaker 1: I do this, You know me, But the people's close
- 9:13Speaker 1: to you, it's like you want approval so much.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like parents, they can hurt you more than
- 9:18Speaker 3: anybody else, because even if you don't want to admit it.
- 9:21Speaker 3: They still have all this power. You want their approval,
- 9:24Speaker 3: and so I think this is really beautiful. He stepped
- 9:28Speaker 3: up to the plate. You're right, he's in the middle
- 9:29Speaker 3: of getting ready for a Super Bowl and he's plugging
- 9:32Speaker 3: his girlfriend's album all there.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Let's be honest. She doesn't need a lot of help.
- 9:35Speaker 3: She's pretty damnagate at sellig stuff. I'm sure the album
- 9:38Speaker 3: is fantastic. I cannot wait. Okay, Moving along reality show drama,
- 9:44Speaker 3: Kim Zoliac is accusing Troy, her estranged husband, of leaking
- 9:50Speaker 3: information confidential information during their breakup. So the Real Housewife
- 9:55Speaker 3: of Atlanta has filed a confidentiality order.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Oh my goodness.
- 10:00Speaker 3: While her divorce is ongoing with Troy. She alleges that
- 10:04Speaker 3: he's leaking information to the press and requested that.
- 10:07Speaker 2: The court issue a protective order.
- 10:10Speaker 3: To redact certain names and financial records that she has
- 10:14Speaker 3: out there that she's submitted to the court. Now, these housewives,
- 10:18Speaker 3: they are the masters of leaks. We never reveal a
- 10:21Speaker 3: source on The Naughty but Night Show, but let me
- 10:24Speaker 3: just say in general, I have found all the years
- 10:27Speaker 3: we've been doing this, Donny, the leakiest leaks that you
- 10:30Speaker 3: will ever meet are the reality stars. They love this,
- 10:33Speaker 3: so I think it's rich that she's accusing him of
- 10:36Speaker 3: leaking stuff and confidentiality. I don't know about this one,
- 10:40Speaker 3: and maybe it's all just another press st and they
- 10:42Speaker 3: just get their names in the press again.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Yeah, it's funny that she's like, oh, I hate that
- 10:45Speaker 1: is leaking.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Girl.
- 10:46Speaker 1: You have people on Speedale the one sending out these photos.
- 10:50Speaker 1: You're the one doing all that. Don't You're not mad,
- 10:52Speaker 1: You're very You're like, ooh, my personal information's out there,
- 10:55Speaker 1: but you're happy you're even being mentioned.
- 10:57Speaker 3: That's right, But please spend by Dame right, exhaust the reality.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Sometimes I love them, like, honestly, I've got a mite
- 11:04Speaker 3: on this show because we cover them, and sometimes I
- 11:06Speaker 3: love them. Sometimes I'm a little over them. At the moment,
- 11:09Speaker 3: I've got to admit I'm in a little bit of
- 11:10Speaker 3: a lulla. I'm not that excited by the housewives. Maybe
- 11:14Speaker 3: the vander Pump rules might get me back, although I
- 11:16Speaker 3: feel like we've had the golden age of that with
- 11:19Speaker 3: all the drama and now it's a little bit Dan Hill,
- 11:21Speaker 3: did you see Lisa vander Pump has a new vander
- 11:24Speaker 3: Pump Villa, a show on Hulo have you seen it?
- 11:28Speaker 1: I have not seen it, but that moment she never stops,
- 11:30Speaker 1: and you know I love her for that. She's like,
- 11:32Speaker 1: you know what, I don't care what people have to say,
- 11:34Speaker 1: but I'm.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Never stopping good for good for you. Okay, quickly before
- 11:39Speaker 3: we go to break, just think timber Lake seems like
- 11:42Speaker 3: he's come up with a plan to fight back against
- 11:47Speaker 3: Britney Spears.
- 11:48Speaker 2: What is he up to?
- 11:50Speaker 1: This man? He just can't help himself. Apparently he wants
- 11:53Speaker 1: to sit down with a tell all with oh Brah, don't.
- 11:58Speaker 2: You know?
- 11:58Speaker 1: The man was doing good and then he had their
- 12:00Speaker 1: birthday concert where he opened his mouth and with one
- 12:03Speaker 1: sentence he said, I'm apologizing to absolutely no one. He
- 12:06Speaker 1: ruined his entire comeback. And now he's like, oh crap,
- 12:11Speaker 1: I might have you know, I get it in the
- 12:13Speaker 1: moment he was there and he might have just said something,
- 12:16Speaker 1: and it's we all say things we regret, but buddy,
- 12:20Speaker 1: you have to do. And the problem is, though, is Oprah. Yes,
- 12:24Speaker 1: Oprah is not you know, she's not Andy Cohen. She's
- 12:27Speaker 1: not going to try and play gotcha, but she's not
- 12:30Speaker 1: going to let you get away with things either. You
- 12:33Speaker 1: have to answer the truth when it's Oprah.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Yeah, don't like her Oprah. Look at Mega Margle. I mean,
- 12:37Speaker 3: this is a lot of drama. Oprah comes prepared. She
- 12:39Speaker 3: has a huge staff. They've got questions. She's going to
- 12:41Speaker 3: ask you about Brittany, and she's not just going to
- 12:43Speaker 3: accept your answer. If you tell us something, she'll push back.
- 12:46Speaker 3: So if you've got the truth on your side, justin
- 12:48Speaker 3: maybe doing Oprah is not a bad idea. But if
- 12:50Speaker 3: you haven't got the truth on your side, or if
- 12:52Speaker 3: this is a little bit more shady, then I think,
- 12:54Speaker 3: and I think it probably is pretty shady. I would
- 12:57Speaker 3: stay away to entertainment tonight, where they just do a
- 12:59Speaker 3: satin bite. They never ask a follow up question. It's
- 13:02Speaker 3: an easy outlet. Oprah's are tough into you, and remember too,
- 13:05Speaker 3: celebrities are often trained to talk in sand bites, which
- 13:09Speaker 3: is why they're wonderful on red carpets. They just answer questions.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Oprah's an hour. An hour, you're sitting with her for
- 13:15Speaker 3: an hour. Think of somebody you meet for a drink.
- 13:17Speaker 3: I get myself in trouble after ten minutes. I'm great
- 13:20Speaker 3: for ten minutes and then I start telling you stuff
- 13:22Speaker 3: I shouldn't tell you if you've got me for an hour.
- 13:25Speaker 3: If I sat down with you, Donni for an hour,
- 13:26Speaker 3: Oh the things I'd say, the trouble I would be in.
- 13:30Speaker 3: You were so right that Justin was doing okay, and
- 13:33Speaker 3: he blew this. It was Justin that messed this up
- 13:36Speaker 3: at that birthday concert. We should have all been talking
- 13:39Speaker 3: that night the next day about his comeback, the new music.
- 13:42Speaker 3: His wife was there, the birthday cake, Jessica Biel all.
- 13:45Speaker 3: This should have been the gossip of the day. There
- 13:47Speaker 3: was so much delicious information there. I could have talked
- 13:50Speaker 3: about it for a week. And then he stepped on
- 13:52Speaker 3: his own message by really taking a dig at Brittany.
- 13:55Speaker 3: He never mentioned her name, but we all know what
- 13:57Speaker 3: he was about before singing crimea River to say, I'm
- 13:59Speaker 3: not apologizing to f In anybody. We know what you're saying,
- 14:02Speaker 3: so you cause this. It's hard for me to actually
- 14:05Speaker 3: feel sorry for Justin. He has been in the business
- 14:08Speaker 3: a long time. He's not new to show business. He
- 14:11Speaker 3: knows the game, like you know. You see these young
- 14:13Speaker 3: artists and they step on their own message all the time.
- 14:15Speaker 3: It's like politicians that can't stay on message. That isn't
- 14:19Speaker 3: the case when you're experienced. Justin has been doing this
- 14:22Speaker 3: since he was a teenager. He should have known better.
- 14:25Speaker 3: And it's a really good lesson too. One comment thirty
- 14:29Speaker 3: seconds can blow up the next five years.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Be careful what you say, be careful what you reveal.
- 14:35Speaker 3: And often I find when I'm trying to get a
- 14:38Speaker 3: dig in, when I'm trying to get a cheap shut in,
- 14:40Speaker 3: that's when I shoot myself in the foot.
- 14:42Speaker 2: And that's what he's done.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Always. The thing is like, it just makes him look arrogant. Yes, yes,
- 14:48Speaker 1: that's the problem is. I don't I get it. He
- 14:51Speaker 1: was a young kid back then. If you just came
- 14:53Speaker 1: out and said I was a dumb young kid, we'd
- 14:55Speaker 1: I'll be like, you know what, Yes, you were a
- 14:57Speaker 1: dumb young kid.
- 14:58Speaker 2: I get it.
- 14:58Speaker 1: You're wrong man now and you apologized.
- 15:01Speaker 2: A couple of years ago.
- 15:01Speaker 3: You apologized, then we all accepted it. But now you're
- 15:04Speaker 3: saying you're not apologizing. My friend Rob, a big TV executive,
- 15:08Speaker 3: he DMed me saying Justin's arrogant. I think he's worked
- 15:11Speaker 3: with Justin or had Justin on one of his shows,
- 15:13Speaker 3: and they said he's arrogant and rude, and they said,
- 15:16Speaker 3: this is.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Actually him showing his true colors. Ouch.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Okay, we're going to take a quick break and we

- 15:28Speaker 3: friend Donnie Meacham. Hey, Donnie, let's get to the polls
- 15:34Speaker 3: that show. We talked about Megan mockl contempleting going to
- 15:37Speaker 3: London with Harry. In the end, she did not go
- 15:39Speaker 3: to see the King. I question asked should she go?
- 15:42Speaker 3: Should she have gone? Let's have a look. Oh, seventy
- 15:45Speaker 3: percent said yes, she should have gone, not for the King,
- 15:47Speaker 3: but for Harry. Harry's walking into a viper's Then.
- 15:51Speaker 2: They could be mean, Donie.
- 15:52Speaker 3: We've all had families, families that can be a little
- 15:55Speaker 3: bit mean, cutting remarks, and it's really brave to just

- 16:00Speaker 3: she just have young children. Where are you on this stoney?
- 16:03Speaker 3: Should she have gone?

- 16:08Speaker 1: have She doesn't have to see him, she doesn't have
- 16:10Speaker 1: to spend time with them. She could have just stayed
- 16:12Speaker 1: in a hotel somewhere with the kids. But I think
- 16:15Speaker 1: right now he is going to need support because at
- 16:19Speaker 1: the end of the day, like, yes, it's King Charles,
- 16:22Speaker 1: but it's his dad and you're walking into your dad
- 16:25Speaker 1: and you're seeing him because cancer is no joke and
- 16:28Speaker 1: this man is already old, and so he's going to be,
- 16:31Speaker 1: you know, a little feeble, a little worn down, a
- 16:34Speaker 1: little tired, and you're looking at your dad and you're going, wow,
- 16:37Speaker 1: this could be the end.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Who knows.

- 17:08Speaker 1: doctors and luckily that you know, he has insurance and stuff.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Now everybody's as lucky as he is, and he has
- 17:14Speaker 1: free doctors and all the good stuff. But they caught
