- 1:34Speaker 6: But I have to tell you guys that yesterday, you know,
- 1:36Speaker 6: my husband Eric and I went out to lunch for
- 1:38Speaker 6: our anniversary. We went out to a place in downtown Dallas,
- 1:42Speaker 6: and I have to tell you the people watching down there,
- 1:45Speaker 6: when you mix it with like these robots delivering food,
- 1:49Speaker 6: it is the best.
- 1:50Speaker 5: It is. So I see one of.
- 1:52Speaker 6: Those robots going around and I'm like, Ooh, what's gonna do.
- 1:55Speaker 6: There's people coming, there's cars coming, you know, and it's
- 1:57Speaker 6: it's I got something in it.
- 1:58Speaker 7: I don't know. They're pretty fast.
- 2:00Speaker 6: I haven't seen them. I could not believe like the
- 2:02Speaker 6: sensors let them go that fast. But it was creeping
- 2:04Speaker 6: up on this lady who was walking right in front
- 2:07Speaker 6: of Neeman.
- 2:07Speaker 7: Marcus right, and we're like, oh my god, it's gonna
- 2:09Speaker 7: hit her.
- 2:09Speaker 6: And then all of a sudden, it just like stops.
- 2:12Speaker 6: She must have hurt it or something, because she jumped
- 2:14Speaker 6: and kind of went to.
- 2:14Speaker 7: The side and just look at that thing, like, excuse me.
- 2:18Speaker 5: Sir, that thing is fat.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Those they look like little coolers, yes, like the wheelers
- 2:23Speaker 4: on wheels. Did you see the other one the other day?
- 2:25Speaker 4: One tipped over? No, it was on a curve and
- 2:28Speaker 4: it kind of tipped over and fell and it was
- 2:30Speaker 4: just like a So somebody didn't get their food and
- 2:33Speaker 4: they were mad and everybody was just walking by.
- 2:35Speaker 5: I'm like, it's it's too bad. I'm not touching you, right.
- 2:37Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 2:37Speaker 6: I wish there was a sign on it or something
- 2:39Speaker 6: that would tell you what was in there, because I
- 2:40Speaker 6: was like, man, what's going then there Chick fil A,
- 2:42Speaker 6: like you know what did someone just order and.
- 2:44Speaker 5: You can't open it, you can't messle it.
- 2:46Speaker 4: But did you also see speaking of robots, at DFW
- 2:49Speaker 4: Airport yesterday, there was an actual robot. Yeah, the one
- 2:53Speaker 4: that's like stands up and walks on two feet walking
- 2:56Speaker 4: around the airport with somebody boarding a plane.
- 2:58Speaker 6: Yeah, it was pretty small the one that I.
- 3:00Speaker 5: Saw, but I mean small, but it's tall as you.
- 3:03Speaker 6: Well yeah, I'm pretty so.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Also, this thing's like five foot tall walking around the airport.
- 3:08Speaker 4: It's like the future is wild.
- 3:10Speaker 6: Yeah. I think our friend JJ was hitting up yesterday
- 3:12Speaker 6: asking if you could bring one up here.
- 3:14Speaker 5: Yeah, what robot?
- 3:16Speaker 6: Yeah I need to read the message.
- 3:19Speaker 5: Yes you can. I'm gonna tell you right now. Yeah,
- 3:22Speaker 5: let's bring some robots.
- 3:23Speaker 6: I was so busy yesterday I didn't have time to
- 3:25Speaker 6: respond or fully read it. But if he's listening, I
- 3:27Speaker 6: saw your notification pop up. Yeah, and i'll hit you
- 3:30Speaker 6: back later.
- 3:31Speaker 5: Perfect. All right, robot, it's Friday. So here we are.
- 3:34Speaker 5: Who is here? What's up?
- 3:35Speaker 4: Who?
- 3:35Speaker 9: I'm kind of itchy?
- 3:37Speaker 5: All right, that's a good show you.
- 3:40Speaker 3: I ordered a mango shade butter bronze.
- 3:46Speaker 9: Uh, I don't know.
- 3:47Speaker 3: It's no, it's to keep me from being ashy. Ordered Yeah,
- 3:51Speaker 3: body butter there there? Okay, off TikTok shot dog oh.
- 3:56Speaker 9: Fourteen.
- 3:57Speaker 3: I got it in yesterday and I put it on
- 4:00Speaker 3: this morning and I've been scratching, so it's not good.
- 4:04Speaker 5: Yeah, what is it? A mango butter?
- 4:07Speaker 3: Mango shade, butter body butter. It's supposed to keep me
- 4:10Speaker 3: from being ashy?
- 4:10Speaker 5: Because does it work? No, let me see your hand?
- 4:13Speaker 9: I mean they're okay, no.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Whatever, you don't see it. Usually I'm like chalky, you
- 4:18Speaker 3: know what I mean?
- 4:19Speaker 6: Yeah you are today? Usually you are chalking ly chalking.
- 4:26Speaker 6: I mean we all are if we don't moisturize.
- 4:28Speaker 5: I'm just watching tiktoking.
- 4:29Speaker 3: I got sucked in and it was a whole bunch
- 4:32Speaker 3: of brothers talking about Yeah, this shade butter works keeps
- 4:35Speaker 3: me from being ashy and the ladies. So I said,
- 4:37Speaker 3: you know what, let me order it. I ordered it,
- 4:38Speaker 3: got it in last night. I put it on this
- 4:40Speaker 3: morning and it started itching me and right here over
- 4:42Speaker 3: my elbows. I'm like, man, they gonna think I got
- 4:44Speaker 3: fleas or something.
- 4:45Speaker 5: Yeah, I think you do.
- 4:47Speaker 6: Did you go in that comments though, because you to
- 4:48Speaker 6: get the real story from all these products, you gotta
- 4:51Speaker 6: go in the comments.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:52Speaker 9: I saw a couple of reviews.
- 4:53Speaker 5: I didn't go.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Said, I think I'm the only one on the planet
- 4:56Speaker 4: that hasn't bought something off TikTok show.
- 4:58Speaker 6: No, I have either my neighbors both but e scooters
- 5:01Speaker 6: on TikTok shop And.
- 5:02Speaker 5: How long are it gonna last?
- 5:03Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 5:03Speaker 6: I mean they're rolling pretty good. They've been rolling on
- 5:05Speaker 6: for months.
- 5:06Speaker 5: Yeah, I just don't want to see who over here
- 5:08Speaker 5: itching all show that's gonna make me. It's you know,
- 5:10Speaker 5: when you see somebody, I'm definitely it suture. If you're
- 5:13Speaker 5: watching TV and you see like a bug, you start itching.
- 5:16Speaker 5: Like I watched Fear Factor the other day, the new
- 5:18Speaker 5: Fear Factor. Yeah, I watch and they dropped the.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Crickets in on the person and then they drop like
- 5:25Speaker 4: pigeons on top of.
- 5:26Speaker 5: The person to hint the crickets.
- 5:28Speaker 4: Oh they did, And I was just like, I started itching.
- 5:32Speaker 4: So if you started itching, I'm gonna start it.
- 5:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:34Speaker 9: I'm trying to play it all, but I'm like, I'm trying.
- 5:36Speaker 4: To avoid I'm trying to avoid saying my favorite word,
- 5:38Speaker 4: but I feel like I'm gonna say it?
- 5:40Speaker 7: Which one?
- 5:41Speaker 5: I feel like you got scabies?
- 5:43Speaker 1: Don't?
- 5:45Speaker 6: It's tough Stories with Billy the Kid in the Morning
- 5:49Speaker 6: only on the New Mix one two point.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Nine, Be Priding and get ready because we have a
- 5:53Speaker 4: dirty little secret coming up at six fifty and ask
- 5:56Speaker 4: us anything today, which we rarely do, but when we
- 5:58Speaker 4: do it gets very personal. Yeah, we'll do that at
- 6:01Speaker 4: seven forty today, seven forty questions you've asked online, we
- 6:04Speaker 4: will answer.
- 6:05Speaker 5: Canda Slopez, what's going on right now?
- 6:06Speaker 6: Well, we got some of the coldest air of the
- 6:08Speaker 6: season pushing through that second cold front.
- 6:10Speaker 7: Of course, you're gonna notice a.
- 6:12Speaker 6: Wind kicking up today, we'll be sunny.
- 6:14Speaker 7: We've got a high of fifty nine.
- 6:15Speaker 6: It's forty five outside right now, but just get ready
- 6:18Speaker 6: for the weekend. Even cooler tomorrow and low's overnight into
- 6:22Speaker 6: Sunday will be in the twenties. They're saying that right
- 6:24Speaker 6: around the Red River we could see some snowfloorries. What
- 6:28Speaker 6: I'm not going to be in, you know, the DFW Metroplex,
- 6:30Speaker 6: But that's not far so. But this is supposed to
- 6:33Speaker 6: be our coldest time of year right now, mid January.
- 6:35Speaker 4: And it's been so this has been the lightest, warmest winner,
- 6:38Speaker 4: they said, one of the warmest winners on record.
- 6:40Speaker 6: Yeah for sure. I mean I've definitely noticed I enjoy
- 6:43Speaker 6: the cold for a little bit. That way, I could
- 6:45Speaker 6: get excited for spring.
- 6:46Speaker 5: I'm fine with the cold. I just don't like the wind. Yeah, yeah, same,
- 6:49Speaker 5: what wind is stupid? Half the reason why my allergies
- 6:54Speaker 5: are all messed up.
- 6:55Speaker 6: Yeah, and my eyes are starting to itch today and
- 6:57Speaker 6: I don't even typically have allergy.
- 7:00Speaker 5: Each who's itching his elbows and other things? Just today's gross.
- 7:06Speaker 6: Yeah, today's gross, guys. Happy Friday. Verizon is now blaming
- 7:11Speaker 6: that hours long wireless outage Wednesday to an issue tied
- 7:14Speaker 6: to a software update. They're offering people who were affected
- 7:18Speaker 6: a twenty dollars credit, which some people are like, really
- 7:20Speaker 6: twenty dollars.
- 7:21Speaker 5: Well, I mean at least they're offering something.
- 7:23Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean that's fair. I don't know how much
- 7:25Speaker 6: productivity people lost, you know, during the outage, and how
- 7:29Speaker 6: much that's worth.
- 7:30Speaker 5: Well, it sucks, but I mean there's been outgages before
- 7:32Speaker 5: and nobody got any money.
- 7:33Speaker 6: Yeah. I mean networks, you know, experience small outages pretty regularly,
- 7:37Speaker 6: but ones like.
- 7:38Speaker 7: This are not uncommon.
- 7:39Speaker 6: Remember that one at and T had I I think
- 7:41Speaker 6: it was back in twenty twenty four.
- 7:42Speaker 9: It was a big one.
- 7:43Speaker 6: Yeah, that affected more than one hundred and twenty five
- 7:45Speaker 6: million devices and people in all fifty states. But yeah,
- 7:48Speaker 6: so like we're saying, have a backup plan.
- 7:50Speaker 4: We should realize that we shouldn't rely on technology so
- 7:54Speaker 4: so much. Right, our world will fall apart if we
- 7:57Speaker 4: don't have it.
- 7:58Speaker 7: Right, we just freak out.
- 7:59Speaker 6: I'm like, if it happens in the afternoon, that's great.
- 8:01Speaker 6: We're not working technically, we still work.
- 8:04Speaker 7: On our phones. But it's like, well I couldn't get
- 8:06Speaker 7: your message.
- 8:06Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, we just don't panic. It's gonna be
- 8:09Speaker 4: all good. Remember this is what happened before we had phones.
- 8:12Speaker 4: We were alive before there were phones.
- 8:14Speaker 5: Yeah, so I remember, you know who was alive before
- 8:16Speaker 5: there was television?
- 8:18Speaker 7: Is that fun?
- 8:19Speaker 6: Poo?
- 8:22Speaker 5: We shat around the radio and listening to the stories,
- 8:25Speaker 5: the stories, the programs, the programs. What a time pop
- 8:30Speaker 5: O's watching his programs.
- 8:34Speaker 6: We have to talk about this. A former Teen Mom star,
- 8:37Speaker 6: Farah Abraham, she had a wild day yesterday. So she
- 8:41Speaker 6: started the day by announcing she's running for mayor of Austin.
- 8:45Speaker 6: And then so she went on TMZ to talk about
- 8:47Speaker 6: this and came to the realization that the mayoral election
- 8:50Speaker 6: there isn't even happening this year. Please listen to this audio.
- 8:54Speaker 5: It's so funny and we were just talking about teen Mom.
- 8:56Speaker 10: Yeah, super excited to be a candidate for mayor of Boston.
- 9:00Speaker 10: I'm running super early, so I can't wait to see
- 9:02Speaker 10: who's gonna run with me and challenge me.
- 9:04Speaker 5: You are now giving them many years to make a
- 9:07Speaker 5: decision because the election is not until twenty twenty eight.
- 9:11Speaker 5: Why so early?
- 9:12Speaker 7: Oh?
- 9:13Speaker 10: For some reason, the mayor election is twenty twenty six.
- 9:17Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 9:18Speaker 10: That's just what the office told me.
- 9:19Speaker 6: As well, we should get some clarity.
- 9:22Speaker 5: She doesn't even know, not a clue because I love Austin.
- 9:28Speaker 9: Yeh see, do we.
- 9:30Speaker 5: Really want Pharaoh?
- 9:32Speaker 11: Though?
- 9:32Speaker 5: From team Mom? She doesn't even know when the election is.
- 9:35Speaker 5: And then it gets worse.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Then she starts talking about what kind of mayor she's
- 9:39Speaker 4: running for, which I only thought that was one mayor, right,
- 9:42Speaker 4: but maybe I'm an idiot.
- 9:45Speaker 6: All right, Yandoslopez, those are your Texas top stories.
- 9:49Speaker 4: Real or fake news? Let's do it right now. I
- 9:50Speaker 4: got three headlines. Got to tell me which one is fake?
- 9:53Speaker 4: Out of the three, one of them is made up?
- 9:55Speaker 4: Canna Slopez is really good at this game, can't so
- 9:57Speaker 4: you ready? Who you ready go first?
- 10:00Speaker 11: Today?
- 10:00Speaker 6: Let's just go ahead decide who's going to go first today.
- 10:02Speaker 5: Okay, okay, well you started off the year strong.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Yeah, you just cheer leading for candies.
- 10:09Speaker 5: I'm just stating facts.
- 10:12Speaker 4: I know.
- 10:12Speaker 5: I'm sorry, but there's just statistically, she's a better player
- 10:15Speaker 5: at this game.
- 10:16Speaker 6: Who will go first today?
- 10:17Speaker 2: Men?
- 10:18Speaker 11: Lie?
- 10:18Speaker 5: Women?
- 10:18Speaker 8: Line numbers don't first? Headline you can now reserve a
- 10:28Speaker 8: hotel room on the moon. You can now reserve a
- 10:32Speaker 8: hotel room on the moon. Head line number one.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Headline umber two New Jersey condo using DNA test on
- 10:40Speaker 4: dog poop to catch.
- 10:41Speaker 5: People who don't pick it up?
- 10:43Speaker 4: What New Jersey condo using DNA test on dog poop
- 10:47Speaker 4: to catch people who don't pick it up? Headline number
- 10:51Speaker 4: three Florida woman in hot water after giving her overweight
- 10:56Speaker 4: cat ozempic.
- 10:59Speaker 5: Florida woman in hot water after giving her overweight cat
- 11:04Speaker 5: oh zempic.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Which one do you think is the fake story? Candas
- 11:08Speaker 4: is immediately handed it to produce her for.
- 11:11Speaker 6: The first advantage to guessing first, So I'm gonna pass
- 11:14Speaker 6: it to poop.
- 11:14Speaker 5: That's very fair of you and diplomatic.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Okay, I'm gonna go with the second story, DNA dog poop.
- 11:19Speaker 5: DNA dog poop is your guest. You want to lock
- 11:22Speaker 5: that in? Lock me in?
- 11:23Speaker 9: Are you sure? Yeah, I'm confident about that.
- 11:25Speaker 5: Lock it in, locked in, flat, locked in. It can't
- 11:28Speaker 5: be changed even if you paid me. Whoa nice Candae Lopez?
- 11:33Speaker 5: Which one is your guest on the fake story?
- 11:36Speaker 6: How don't know that a zembig cat?
- 11:37Speaker 5: Yeah? Really? Why? Why?
- 11:38Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 11:39Speaker 5: That's fake?
- 11:39Speaker 6: I don't know. I just feel like there's got to
- 11:41Speaker 6: be a better way.
- 11:42Speaker 5: Like who's out here just giving their fat cat?
- 11:46Speaker 6: Yeah, it seems a little reckless.
- 11:47Speaker 5: Seems crazy, but okay, you want to lock that in?
- 11:50Speaker 6: I lock it in.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Let's lock it in. And the winner today, real or
- 11:54Speaker 4: fake news, No surprise, Candislopez, no congratulations. Even when she
- 11:59Speaker 4: does go first, here we go. All she does is win, win, win,
- 12:04Speaker 4: no matter what.
- 12:05Speaker 9: That's right, That's all that's all she does.
- 12:07Speaker 5: Canda, congratulations. That's a fake story. I met up. I
- 12:11Speaker 5: made up now.
- 12:12Speaker 4: Although I will say that I did see a story
- 12:14Speaker 4: that gop ones or whatever those things are are coming
- 12:17Speaker 4: out soon for pets.
- 12:18Speaker 7: I believe that.
- 12:19Speaker 6: Yeah, it's like cats empike or.
- 12:24Speaker 5: Different name.
- 12:25Speaker 4: And I feel like people who love their cats, you know,
- 12:28Speaker 4: because people who have cats love their cats.
- 12:30Speaker 2: They do.
- 12:31Speaker 4: They're not going to risk it and give their cats ozempic.
- 12:33Speaker 4: They could hurt them.
- 12:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:34Speaker 6: You know a lot of people like their cats fat. Yeah,
- 12:37Speaker 6: like a lazy fat cat's cute.
- 12:39Speaker 5: Cool. Yeah, I love it. And no one wants to
- 12:41Speaker 5: see a skinny cat.
- 12:43Speaker 4: I want to see a fat, fat cat just chilling right,
- 12:48Speaker 4: being a ball.
- 12:49Speaker 7: Just want to get pets.
- 12:51Speaker 4: You're just being a boss, just sitting there, a fat cat,
- 12:54Speaker 4: not caring about you.
- 12:56Speaker 5: Like. I don't hate cats. I just think cats think
- 12:58Speaker 5: they're the boss, you know what I mean? Yeah, they are.
- 13:01Speaker 6: They can't be bothered, No, they can't.
- 13:03Speaker 4: All right, let's do the real stories. Now, this is
- 13:06Speaker 4: a very fascinating story to me. You can now reserve
- 13:08Speaker 4: a hotel room on the moon. How so is it now?
- 13:12Speaker 4: Is it Silicon Valley or is it Silicone Valley?
- 13:14Speaker 6: I think it's Silicon Okay, I don't know.
- 13:17Speaker 5: Silicon Valley.
- 13:18Speaker 4: Startup company called gru Groo Space is now taking reservations
- 13:23Speaker 4: for a lunar hotel it plans to open around twenty
- 13:26Speaker 4: thirty two. The deposits range from two hundred and fifty
- 13:30Speaker 4: thousand dollars to one million dollars well, and the total
- 13:34Speaker 4: cost of a stay could top ten million dollars once
- 13:37Speaker 4: the rocket trip is included.
- 13:39Speaker 7: Oh my gosh.
- 13:40Speaker 5: The hotel would.
- 13:41Speaker 4: Start as inflatable habitats. They can hold up to four
- 13:44Speaker 4: guests for multi day visits. Guests could take part in moonwalks,
- 13:49Speaker 4: drive rovers whatever, drive rovers.
- 13:51Speaker 5: I guess just that's fun.
- 13:52Speaker 7: Yeah, just drive a rover on the moon.
- 13:54Speaker 5: Yeah, and they could even play lunar golf.
- 13:57Speaker 4: Founder Skyler Chan, who started the company at twenty two,
- 14:00Speaker 4: sees the project as a first step toward humans living
- 14:03Speaker 4: in space long term. One problem the hotel doesn't exist yet,
- 14:07Speaker 4: but the company says that the non stop it's not
- 14:10Speaker 4: stopping people from already signing up.
- 14:12Speaker 6: Well, interesting it is.
- 14:14Speaker 4: Because yeah, how would you have all the money to
- 14:16Speaker 4: do this? You don't unless people sign up.
- 14:19Speaker 6: This is really giving fire festival for me that's by
- 14:23Speaker 6: tickets is something that doesn't exist.
- 14:25Speaker 5: Yeah, Like, how is this even legal?
- 14:27Speaker 6: Right?
- 14:27Speaker 4: Like, if we can barely get back to the moon,
- 14:29Speaker 4: how is Skylar Chan going to do it?
- 14:31Speaker 5: Right? I guess with enough money, anybody could do it.
- 14:33Speaker 7: We're out here playing golf.
- 14:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, would you go if it was a
- 14:37Speaker 4: reasonable amount of money and it wasn't that crazy.
- 14:39Speaker 5: No, you wouldn't go.
- 14:40Speaker 9: I'm not going.
- 14:41Speaker 6: No, I just don't trust a rocket.
- 14:43Speaker 5: Yeah, I think about it.
- 14:45Speaker 4: No, with the way things are going, sometimes a lot
- 14:48Speaker 4: of my play I mean, shoot me up there.
- 14:50Speaker 5: You see what happens.
- 14:51Speaker 6: You'll be worth the shot.
- 14:52Speaker 9: I mean, does your credit start over if you're on
- 14:54Speaker 9: the moon, because.
- 14:54Speaker 4: I'll go then no, no, and your warrants carry over
- 14:57Speaker 4: to you still have warrants in space. I think that's
- 15:02Speaker 4: where Poo's ex girlfriend is. She said she wanted space
- 15:06Speaker 4: the moon, all right, New Jersey. Now this story is incredible.
- 15:12Speaker 4: New Jersey condo using DNA test on dog poop to
- 15:15Speaker 4: catch people who don't pick it. So, because this is
- 15:18Speaker 4: a major problem in a lot of neighborhoods, a lot
- 15:20Speaker 4: of you.
- 15:21Speaker 6: Know, it's face page every day.
- 15:23Speaker 4: Every day apartments, especially apartments because nobody gets up. So
- 15:27Speaker 4: this company, it's a luxury condo in New Jersey using
- 15:30Speaker 4: DNA tests. And what they're doing is every dog living
- 15:33Speaker 4: at the this waterfront complex will have a cheek squab
- 15:36Speaker 4: taken right, So when you move in, your dog comes
- 15:39Speaker 4: to the office, it gets a cheek squab.
- 15:41Speaker 5: It knows it's DNA. Then if somebody you know, leaves
- 15:45Speaker 5: their dog poop out, They take the dog poop and
- 15:47Speaker 5: they run the DNA.
- 15:48Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, is it really that serious?
- 15:50Speaker 5: It is Cannis put cameras up. Oh crap. Wait, that's
- 15:55Speaker 5: a good part.
- 15:59Speaker 4: Then when waste is found on the property, it gets
- 16:01Speaker 4: sent to the lab or whatever, and you will get
- 16:05Speaker 4: fined two and fifty dollars Wow for leaving out the
- 16:09Speaker 4: dog poop. Now you have to pay for the swab
- 16:11Speaker 4: test too, So that's a couple of hundred bucks when
- 16:13Speaker 4: you move in. But yeah, but I guess it's worth
- 16:15Speaker 4: it for them because it is completely stopped people from
- 16:19Speaker 4: leaving their dog poop out. The cameras didn't okay, cameras
- 16:23Speaker 4: didn't DNA.
- 16:25Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, isn't that fat.
- 16:28Speaker 4: Where are we at in the world and technology where
- 16:30Speaker 4: our dogs are getting swabbed? And then if you leave
- 16:33Speaker 4: the dog poop out, Yeah, they'll test the Whose job
- 16:37Speaker 4: is that?
- 16:37Speaker 5: I know? And how much do they make? What do
- 16:41Speaker 5: you do? I'll pick up dog poop and run the DNA.
- 16:44Speaker 5: Oh cool, what if they have a badge and everything? Yeah? Yeah, god,
- 16:48Speaker 5: you know what I mean? The police.
- 16:55Speaker 7: To promise you'll feel better.
- 16:57Speaker 6: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Don know why I'm getting so vers about seven forty today,
- 17:01Speaker 4: candis because I just don't know the questions are going
- 17:03Speaker 4: to be asked.
- 17:03Speaker 6: Yeah, Oh, I feel like it'll be fun.
- 17:06Speaker 4: It makes one o two point nine a bility kid
- 17:08Speaker 4: Canda slow Pass producer, Pooh, we're doing Dirty Little Secret
- 17:10Speaker 4: right now.
- 17:10Speaker 5: But it seven forty we're to do ask us anything.
- 17:13Speaker 4: Questions were submitted online, so I know some of the questions,
- 17:15Speaker 4: but you're gonna ask some of the questions I got
- 17:17Speaker 4: you that you got and I'd say, don't tell me
- 17:19Speaker 4: before we go on. I don't care if it's personal whatever.
- 17:21Speaker 4: We're just gonna go with it.
- 17:22Speaker 5: Yeah, And I don't know.
- 17:23Speaker 4: I'm just like a little bit weird about it. So
- 17:25Speaker 4: seven forty today, now, Dirty Little Secret. If you've got
- 17:27Speaker 4: one eight three three seven eight seven one o two nine, okay,
- 17:31Speaker 4: I don't care what it is, could be a big secret,
- 17:33Speaker 4: little secret, just bring it on and you have one.
- 17:35Speaker 5: So what's up?
- 17:36Speaker 11: Okay? So literally, I am about to tell you something
- 17:40Speaker 11: that's knowing in my life.
- 17:41Speaker 6: No, it's not a.
- 17:42Speaker 11: Soul, not my parents, not my friends, no one.
- 17:45Speaker 5: I love this. I love it. Okay, what is it?
- 17:49Speaker 11: So I secretly married my guy best friend.
- 17:53Speaker 5: Oh, no, one, no.
- 17:56Speaker 11: No, there's a reason I could get help in for
- 18:00Speaker 11: what So I could get health insurance?
- 18:03Speaker 4: Wait, you married You married your guy best friend for
- 18:08Speaker 4: health insurance, for benefits.
- 18:10Speaker 5: Yeah, you are literally friends with benefits. So what do
- 18:18Speaker 5: you mean?
- 18:19Speaker 4: So you have no romantic feelings for him, You're not
- 18:22Speaker 4: in love with him, you just married him for the situation.
- 18:25Speaker 11: Yeah, so let me explain. So I was dealing with
- 18:28Speaker 11: some really like big scary medical stuff, nothing I really
- 18:31Speaker 11: want to get into, but I'm still kind of dealing
- 18:34Speaker 11: with it all, just like enough to make you realized
- 18:38Speaker 11: how fast you can fall apart when you don't have coverage,
- 18:41Speaker 11: Like you need medications, and like, I didn't think I
- 18:44Speaker 11: was going to survive this financially. I mean, I was
- 18:46Speaker 11: really sick. So he offered, like in a half joking
- 18:50Speaker 11: way at first, that we get married and so I
- 18:53Speaker 11: can get on his insurance. And then we both kind
- 18:55Speaker 11: of realized it wasn't a joke at all. So when
- 18:57Speaker 11: like random Tuesday, we went down to the court house
- 19:00Speaker 11: and we got legally married. No rings, no photos, just
- 19:04Speaker 11: paperwork and a quiet little agreement.
- 19:06Speaker 5: Wow, married, like officially married and nobody knows, and yes
- 19:15Speaker 5: it is. Yeah, that is a big scene kind of like.
- 19:19Speaker 11: Yeah, amazing insurance that has worked, and like, I'm so
- 19:23Speaker 11: happy he did this for me. But like I thought
- 19:25Speaker 11: it was safe at first because he was my best friend.
- 19:28Speaker 11: But like, I don't know, I kind of like assumed
- 19:30Speaker 11: he wasn't into me at all or anything. And I
- 19:32Speaker 11: always joke like he might be into guys, But all
- 19:35Speaker 11: of a sudden, I'm not really sure, what do you mean? Well,
- 19:39Speaker 11: like the way he looks at me has changed, and
- 19:41Speaker 11: he like he asks me if I want to move
- 19:43Speaker 11: in to quote save more money. I don't know, He's
- 19:47Speaker 11: just he's a sudden you.
- 19:49Speaker 5: Think now he's starting to get more like real feelings
- 19:53Speaker 5: for you and not just friends.
- 19:55Speaker 11: Yeah, unless, like I'm wondering, did he have them all along?
- 19:58Speaker 11: And now he kind of yes.
- 19:59Speaker 5: He did right away. There's no way a guy does well,
- 20:05Speaker 5: there's no way a guy does this who just wants
- 20:09Speaker 5: to be friends. I'm sorry, I know how guys operate.
- 20:12Speaker 9: Yeah, he's got a motive.
- 20:13Speaker 5: We're nice, we could be nice.
- 20:15Speaker 6: She wants to save money for what if she moves
- 20:18Speaker 6: in with him and then they split mills and then
- 20:20Speaker 6: they both save money.
- 20:21Speaker 4: He's offering this because it's a way to attach himself
- 20:25Speaker 4: to her, and he's hoping for more than just friends.
- 20:28Speaker 4: I thought that right away, and that's what you're feeling now.
- 20:30Speaker 6: I never even thought that I did.
- 20:34Speaker 11: Well, I mean, I love him so much, and like
- 20:36Speaker 11: I don't want to lose him or hurt him, and
- 20:38Speaker 11: like I just don't love him in the way that
- 20:40Speaker 11: I think he's starting to love me, and like I
- 20:42Speaker 11: don't want the secret to like explode and take both of.
- 20:45Speaker 6: Us down with it, you know, right right, Yeah, there's
- 20:51Speaker 6: no world where you would ever like grow to like
- 20:54Speaker 6: him like that.
- 20:55Speaker 11: No, he's like my brother, like oh no, long Like
- 21:02Speaker 11: it's never been that way, and he's never given me
- 21:05Speaker 11: any indication at all, but all of a sudden, just
- 21:07Speaker 11: the way he's looking at me, like I'm looking back,
- 21:09Speaker 11: and I'm like, don't I didn't see anything?
- 21:11Speaker 5: I do?
- 21:11Speaker 11: You know?
- 21:12Speaker 4: I think was always there because there's no way a
- 21:14Speaker 4: guy what is in it for him? And I'm not
- 21:16Speaker 4: saying that all guys think like this, but a lot
- 21:18Speaker 4: of men would think, like, hey, what does he get
- 21:20Speaker 4: out of marrying you?
- 21:21Speaker 5: Besides the fact now you could.
- 21:22Speaker 4: Take half his stuff and he could take half your
- 21:25Speaker 4: stuff to be fair too, Like you're.
- 21:28Speaker 5: Both at risk.
- 21:29Speaker 6: But now he has to agree to get out of
- 21:31Speaker 6: the marriage eventually, because clearly you're not going to literally
- 21:34Speaker 6: be married to him forever.
- 21:36Speaker 5: That's a good question. Do you stay how long do
- 21:38Speaker 5: you plan on staying married? There's so many weird things.
- 21:40Speaker 6: Right, like is your quiet agreement include well until I
- 21:43Speaker 6: pay this off for like for five years, or I
- 21:45Speaker 6: still you know, so I don't need the insurance?
- 21:48Speaker 5: Yeah, my own and whatever you're dealing with. I hope
- 21:50Speaker 5: you get better and I don't. That's don't get me wrong.
- 21:52Speaker 4: I think it's incredibly nice, and maybe there is a
- 21:54Speaker 4: guy that's genuinely this nice.
- 21:56Speaker 5: Would you do this, pooh?
- 21:58Speaker 4: Would you marry a friend so that she could get
- 22:00Speaker 4: health benefits if she's going through a struggle.
- 22:02Speaker 3: I probably would. There's a there's a couple of girls.
- 22:04Speaker 3: I'd probably do that too.
- 22:06Speaker 6: Doing that, I would you always.
- 22:10Speaker 5: I wouldn't have an ulterior motive. I said, a couple
- 22:12Speaker 5: of girls, not a lot. I don't think you would,
- 22:15Speaker 5: And I don't think you're a bad guy. Yeah, by
- 22:17Speaker 5: the way, I don't think you're a bad guy.
- 22:18Speaker 3: If Cannis wasn't married or whatever. She was like, Hey,
- 22:21Speaker 3: I need I need a hook up.
- 22:23Speaker 11: I hook her up.
- 22:24Speaker 6: Yeah I know he would.
- 22:25Speaker 5: Yeah for sure.
- 22:27Speaker 3: I mean, I mean you, my boy, but I don't
- 22:30Speaker 3: swing that way. But if you need, we'd be like
- 22:35Speaker 3: that movie Chuck and Larry.
- 22:37Speaker 5: I do it for I helped Cannas out financially, the
- 22:41Speaker 5: Cannis will help you. I'm gonna help you out. I'm
- 22:43Speaker 5: gonna start you to go fundy. But I don't know
- 22:50Speaker 5: if we can get married.
- 22:51Speaker 6: Fine, as long as my billy.
- 22:52Speaker 9: That's what I'm saying, right, Why complicate that?
- 22:55Speaker 6: That's fair?
- 22:56Speaker 5: But I think he did this.
- 22:57Speaker 7: Because I couldn't offer financial support.
- 22:59Speaker 5: Maybe will think about it. There's a strong, a strong
- 23:04Speaker 5: prenup in place, strong because I might take half your house. Yeah,
- 23:11Speaker 5: all right, what a great guy. Then I hope, I
- 23:14Speaker 5: hope it works out for the best for both of you,
- 23:17Speaker 5: and I hope you hopefully get back on track when
- 23:20Speaker 5: it comes to your health. And please let us know
- 23:22Speaker 5: what happens, because I don't know a good way to
- 23:24Speaker 5: handle this at this point, like there's no way out
- 23:26Speaker 5: of it, really, right, let us know, but good luck
- 23:30Speaker 5: and if anything changes, yeah, call us back.
- 23:33Speaker 11: I will thank you so much.
- 23:35Speaker 5: You are so welcome. This guy about to get his
- 23:37Speaker 5: heart broken broke, he'sing for court.
- 23:42Speaker 10: It gets settled here with Billy the Kid in the Morning.
- 23:45Speaker 4: Mixed one or two point nine Ability Kid, Candaelpez, producer
- 23:48Speaker 4: poo All Rise for the Honorable Judge Candae Lopez straight
- 23:50Speaker 4: out of my Skee. She got her law degree. She
- 23:53Speaker 4: passed the Mesquite towniest Bar. Yeah, wosh, the standards are
- 23:56Speaker 4: very high for that.
- 23:57Speaker 5: Oh yeah, it's not just like you know whatever some
- 24:00Speaker 5: Mickey mose course. No, it's very exclusive.
- 24:03Speaker 4: Some of our greatest Supreme Court justices have come from Esteat.
- 24:07Speaker 9: Yeah they have.
- 24:08Speaker 5: I think they have.
- 24:10Speaker 4: Okay, if you got a problem at candisan Air, at
- 24:13Speaker 4: Candiasan Air, she can help you with it. This is
- 24:14Speaker 4: a really good one. I love my niece and I
- 24:17Speaker 4: want to support her in any way I can. So
- 24:19Speaker 4: when she became a girl scout, I gladly purchased a
- 24:22Speaker 4: few boxes of cookies, even though I have no control
- 24:25Speaker 4: over them and I know they're going to sabotage my diet.
- 24:28Speaker 4: But apparently that wasn't enough for my sister. Seems she's
- 24:33Speaker 4: dead set on my niece selling the most boxes. So
- 24:36Speaker 4: she is now trying to get me to help her
- 24:38Speaker 4: sell cookies to all of my friends and my office.
- 24:43Speaker 4: I just started this job a few months ago, and
- 24:45Speaker 4: I don't feel comfortable asking people to buy cookies.
- 24:47Speaker 5: So I told her no. Oh, but won't stop. She
- 24:53Speaker 5: will not stop bugging me about it.
- 24:55Speaker 4: She's now saying I'm a bad aunt and telling my
- 25:00Speaker 4: niece it's my fault.
- 25:01Speaker 5: She's gonna fall behind and sales. NoHo, what do you
- 25:08Speaker 5: think I should do? Am I wrong for not helping
- 25:11Speaker 5: my niece more with the girl scoal cookies? This is
- 25:15Speaker 5: a good one because it's not just about girl scal
- 25:18Speaker 5: cookies and me.
- 25:18Speaker 4: I think we've all been in a position like this
- 25:20Speaker 4: when it comes to fundraisers, when it comes to the popcorn.
- 25:24Speaker 4: How many popcorn boxes have I bought off people? And
- 25:27Speaker 4: I'm like, sure, I'll buy some popcorn, and then all
- 25:29Speaker 4: of a sudden, I click and it's like, wait, eighty
- 25:32Speaker 4: dollars right for three bags of popcorn?
- 25:35Speaker 6: A feel that you're right, and you just.
- 25:39Speaker 4: Got to block it out. You got to remember it.
- 25:40Speaker 4: You're not really doing it for the popcorn. You're donating
- 25:43Speaker 4: to this cause.
- 25:44Speaker 6: But also to keep your friendship alive.
- 25:46Speaker 4: Yeah, you feel like obligated. Yeah, it's a lot of pressure.
- 25:49Speaker 4: So can when you hear this is she doing the
- 25:52Speaker 4: right or wrong thing?
- 25:53Speaker 6: Well, first of all, you're not a bad aunt. This
- 25:55Speaker 6: mom is being bad for blaming you on it, Like,
- 25:58Speaker 6: this is not your fault, that's your Like, I'll share
- 26:01Speaker 6: your social media post.
- 26:02Speaker 7: You know that's what a good aunt would do.
- 26:05Speaker 6: Well, yeah, if it's my niece, I would share it. Yeah.
- 26:09Speaker 5: Maybe for a couple of free boxes, I'll share it.
- 26:11Speaker 6: And she thirty bought some, so she did her part.
- 26:13Speaker 5: Now, how many boxes should you buy?
- 26:15Speaker 4: Because I've been in this situation when somebody asked you
- 26:17Speaker 4: to buy some girl Scout cookies and I feel obligated
- 26:19Speaker 4: to and.
- 26:20Speaker 5: It's hard for me to say no at least too.
- 26:22Speaker 6: Yeah, you always got to buy at least too. But
- 26:24Speaker 6: I've purposely avoided Facebook this month because I know when
- 26:28Speaker 6: I open it up, I'm going to see your little
- 26:30Speaker 6: girl in the video her asking to buy cookies, and
- 26:33Speaker 6: I just can't control myself. I love cookies, first of all,
- 26:35Speaker 6: and then second when.
- 26:36Speaker 7: They're out of state.
- 26:37Speaker 6: A lot of them are out of state, which I
- 26:39Speaker 6: did last year, and I was like oh, thirty dollars
- 26:41Speaker 6: because I got to pay for shipping and you have
- 26:43Speaker 6: to buy a minimum of like five or six boxes.
- 26:45Speaker 5: I'm not gonna lie.
- 26:46Speaker 4: I get a little bit of anxiety at Tom Thumb
- 26:48Speaker 4: when I see him at the.
- 26:49Speaker 5: Entrance, right, I do gangster. They are gangster. But I'm like, oh,
- 26:53Speaker 5: here they are.
- 26:53Speaker 4: And then they're like they're ready, and it's a sweet
- 26:55Speaker 4: little girl in her little uniform and she's blocking the
- 26:57Speaker 4: entrance like she's a bouncer for Tom Thumb.
- 27:02Speaker 5: You know what I mean.
- 27:02Speaker 4: And I'm like trying to just get my groceries and
- 27:04Speaker 4: my rotisserie chicken and rice so I can go home
- 27:06Speaker 4: and eat. And here she is and she's like, Hi, sir,
- 27:09Speaker 4: good morning. Do you want to buy some Girl Scout cookies?
- 27:12Speaker 4: And I'm like sure, And then one time I do it.
- 27:15Speaker 4: So I get some Girl Scout cookies and I don't
- 27:17Speaker 4: even give them the line of like on my way
- 27:18Speaker 4: out because they know you're lying, right, And then on
- 27:21Speaker 4: the way out, I'm like, okay, bye, I got some.
- 27:24Speaker 4: And then the next time I go to Tom Thumb,
- 27:25Speaker 4: there they are again. Then I got to tell them
- 27:27Speaker 4: that I've already bought some and they don't believe me.
- 27:28Speaker 6: Right, that's the hard thing. I want to buy from everybody.
- 27:31Speaker 6: But it's like, should I just buy one box from
- 27:34Speaker 6: literally everybody who asked me this season?
- 27:36Speaker 7: Or do I just go in on one person be
- 27:37Speaker 7: like bought from them?
- 27:38Speaker 6: Done. Now you're not supposed to talk about your diet
- 27:41Speaker 6: when you see the girl Scouts either, because they're tired
- 27:43Speaker 6: of that.
- 27:44Speaker 9: And who said they're gangster? They are gangster.
- 27:46Speaker 4: Back in the day, all I would say is I'm sorry,
- 27:48Speaker 4: I don't have sweetie, I don't have any cash on me.
- 27:50Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 27:51Speaker 4: Now they're like, oh, that's fine, we take Vemo cash
- 27:53Speaker 4: at big Coins. I got square, yeah, square, Just so
- 27:59Speaker 4: all right, I'm broke.
- 28:00Speaker 5: That's okay. We have a layway plan. They're just gangster.
- 28:05Speaker 6: I did throw away like five boxes that I forgot
- 28:09Speaker 6: that I had because they were still in the cardboard
- 28:11Speaker 6: box in the bottom of my pantry that well, because
- 28:14Speaker 6: they went they were old, and so I was like
- 28:17Speaker 6: the cookie, I mean, I don't know, they were expired,
- 28:20Speaker 6: the dates were expired.
- 28:21Speaker 5: It's okay, they're still they're still there.
- 28:22Speaker 6: Well, I threw them away because I forgot about them
- 28:24Speaker 6: because I had so many. I just shoved them in
- 28:26Speaker 6: the pantry in the back.
- 28:28Speaker 5: Don't tell me you threw away thin mins.
- 28:29Speaker 6: No, never, No, those went straight to the freezer and
- 28:32Speaker 6: got ate like the first week. No, they were that
- 28:37Speaker 6: new cookie. I don't know. It's like a I don't
- 28:39Speaker 6: know this moores one.
- 28:46Speaker 4: Do you take it to the office, because I know
- 28:47Speaker 4: we're going to get some rolling around here today. I'm
- 28:49Speaker 4: going to tell you right now, if you're coming to
- 28:50Speaker 4: our office, if you work here, go straight to Pooh.
- 28:52Speaker 5: He said.
- 28:53Speaker 4: He wants to buy all your girlsufyeh Okay.
- 28:57Speaker 6: I've already we already bought some from one of Eric's
- 28:59Speaker 6: coworkers from the show, the last show they run there
- 29:02Speaker 6: in La and she said the video is so cute, like, yeah,
- 29:04Speaker 6: we're gonna do it.
- 29:06Speaker 4: But then there's some years I can't find them right,
- 29:08Speaker 4: Like there's one year I'm like, can I get some
- 29:10Speaker 4: girl Scout cookies where you at?
- 29:11Speaker 5: You know?
- 29:12Speaker 4: But I just don't have a little girl. I have
- 29:13Speaker 4: a little boy, so yeah, a big boy at this point.
- 29:16Speaker 4: But then have you ever done this? Now, don't lie,
- 29:19Speaker 4: don't lie, Cannis, you skate by the girl Scouts at
- 29:22Speaker 4: the front of Tom Thumberkrouger or whatever. And then on
- 29:24Speaker 4: the way out, you know they're going to ask you again.
- 29:26Speaker 4: So I kind of wait for someone else to start
- 29:28Speaker 4: talking to him, and then I they distract and then
- 29:31Speaker 4: I scooped by him real fast.
- 29:33Speaker 5: Oh yeah, so they don't see me.
- 29:34Speaker 6: No, I just have so many I just have so
- 29:38Speaker 6: many bags I'm carrying that I just I can't possibly
- 29:40Speaker 6: stop and continue to hold these bags. I don't have
- 29:42Speaker 6: a free hand, you know, to pull up my phone. Yeah.
- 29:45Speaker 9: I tried to play it off one time.
- 29:47Speaker 3: I had my earbudsy and I was like, yeah, you know,
- 29:49Speaker 3: pretended like I had a conversation. Yeah. The little girl
- 29:52Speaker 3: followed me. She was like, oh, excuse me, excuse me,
- 29:56Speaker 3: and I was like, oh, I'm on the phone. She
- 29:57Speaker 3: was like, oh okay, and then your phone rang.
- 30:05Speaker 5: Done at the end of the day. I would probably
- 30:07Speaker 5: take it.
- 30:07Speaker 4: I would probably if I was this aunt, I would
- 30:09Speaker 4: probably move and say, you know what, I'm gonna do
- 30:11Speaker 4: my thing. I'll take it to the office for you,
- 30:13Speaker 4: even if it's a new job. But it doesn't matter
- 30:16Speaker 4: what I think.
- 30:16Speaker 7: You know, that doesn't matter.
- 30:17Speaker 4: What Pooh thinks. It matters what Candislopez thinks. She's the
- 30:21Speaker 4: judge and you have a verdict.
- 30:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:23Speaker 6: Look, your sister is guilty of being a thin mint. Mandy. Oh,
- 30:27Speaker 6: it's not your fault. It's not your child. Would she
- 30:30Speaker 6: do the same for you when you.
- 30:31Speaker 5: Have kids, not, Mandy.
- 30:33Speaker 6: Yeah, you can't blame the ant for not taking it
- 30:37Speaker 6: to work. She doesn't want to take it to work.
- 30:38Speaker 6: It's uncomfortable for her.
- 30:40Speaker 7: Like respect that.
- 30:41Speaker 5: Respect it. Yeah, yeah, she is guilty of being any
- 30:46Speaker 5: There you go.
- 30:48Speaker 4: I'm so scared right now. It makes one or two
- 30:51Speaker 4: point nine. Good morning, Bailly the kid. Candislopez is here,
- 30:55Speaker 4: Producer Pooh is here. Are you ready to ask us anything?
- 30:58Speaker 6: Yes.
- 30:59Speaker 4: A couple of days I posted online. I was like,
- 31:01Speaker 4: you know what, let's do it. We haven't done in
- 31:02Speaker 4: a while. Ask us anything. I don't know if we've
- 31:04Speaker 4: ever done it this intense, ask us anything. I don't
- 31:06Speaker 4: care what it is. And I posted on my Instagram
- 31:09Speaker 4: and the questions started pouring in. Candas did to Poo
- 31:11Speaker 4: did too, And the questions are wild. I'm gonna start
- 31:13Speaker 4: off with some light ones and then I might get
- 31:15Speaker 4: a little bit heavier, OK, nervous, I know. And I
- 31:18Speaker 4: haven't told Poo or Candas any of these questions. I'm like,
- 31:21Speaker 4: you know what, No, we're gonna be as real. That's
- 31:23Speaker 4: the one thing I think I love about our show
- 31:25Speaker 4: is it's authentic. We're really friends behind the scenes. Some
- 31:28Speaker 4: shows they're not. They have to break it to you.
- 31:31Speaker 4: They hate each other.
- 31:32Speaker 5: Some shows hate We're really friends.
- 31:35Speaker 4: Sometimes we hate each other, but most of the time
- 31:37Speaker 4: we love each other. We've known each other for years.
- 31:40Speaker 4: I want to be real. Part of that is just
- 31:43Speaker 4: being transparent. So here we go. Should we just get
- 31:46Speaker 4: to the first question?
- 31:47Speaker 6: Yeah, I get to it.
- 31:48Speaker 5: Okay, the first question. I'm going to keep it lighted first.
- 31:50Speaker 5: The first question is for Poo, and it's a simple question,
- 31:53Speaker 5: but I get this question all the time about Pooh.
- 31:57Speaker 5: What's his real first name?
- 31:59Speaker 6: Oh?
- 32:00Speaker 5: Yes, yes, my government, Yes, yeah. And I didn't tell him.
- 32:04Speaker 5: I was gonna ask him this, and I said, you.
- 32:05Speaker 4: Know what, there's there's no reason for him not to
- 32:08Speaker 4: say his real first name.
- 32:10Speaker 6: No reason.
- 32:10Speaker 4: You don't have to say your full name. But everybody
- 32:13Speaker 4: always asked me, what's Poo's real first name?
- 32:17Speaker 6: Yeah, we're going to.
- 32:18Speaker 9: Tell him.
- 32:20Speaker 5: Poo's real first name. Brian, Yes, there we go, right there,
- 32:26Speaker 5: he goes, you know, what's funny. He's never said that
- 32:28Speaker 5: on the air before. Never ever in the years now,
- 32:32Speaker 5: one time.
- 32:33Speaker 4: Over twenty five years that I've known this guy and
- 32:35Speaker 4: been on the air with him. Yeah, he's never said it. Wow,
- 32:38Speaker 4: Welcome Brian to the show.
- 32:39Speaker 9: No, there you go.
- 32:44Speaker 4: Somebody also asked me, I'm gonna keep the questions anonymous
- 32:46Speaker 4: because said I would.
- 32:46Speaker 5: Somebody also asked me what my real name is.
- 32:48Speaker 4: My real name is Billy, right, but William technically, but Billy.
- 32:52Speaker 5: So there you go. Cannas's real name is Cannas. So
- 32:54Speaker 5: that's the first.
- 32:54Speaker 4: Yeah, that's an easy one. Right next, you want the
- 32:57Speaker 4: next question? Yeah, all right, Billy, Poo or Candace? Choose
- 33:02Speaker 4: your favorite three am buddy. Okay, this is an easy
- 33:05Speaker 4: one for me, meaning who would I will rather hang
- 33:07Speaker 4: out with at three am?
- 33:08Speaker 5: Pooh or Candace? This is easy. Candace would never be
- 33:12Speaker 5: up at three am, so I'm hanging out with Pooh.
- 33:17Speaker 5: That's an easy one.
- 33:19Speaker 4: What's y'all's weirdest quirks that you aren't necessarily proud of?
- 33:25Speaker 6: Oh?
- 33:26Speaker 5: What's your weirdest quirk that you're not necessarily proud of?
- 33:30Speaker 5: Who wants to start?
- 33:31Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, to think about it.
- 33:36Speaker 4: You told you I can start if you want. Yeah, okay,
- 33:39Speaker 4: I can easily. So I have many weird quirks. One
- 33:42Speaker 4: of the quirks so I realized, was yesterday, and it
- 33:45Speaker 4: just it's blatantly obvious.
- 33:47Speaker 5: I have a problem checking the mail. Oh yeah.
- 33:51Speaker 4: I hate checking my mail more than anything on earth.
- 33:54Speaker 4: And it's been a problem for a long time. I
- 33:55Speaker 4: have bad anxiety. Nothing good comes in the mail. I
- 33:58Speaker 4: don't want to check it. I don't want to deal
- 34:00Speaker 4: with it. I can't check the mail. My neighbor Stewart
- 34:03Speaker 4: is awesome. Him and Dana are so great. Yesterday he
- 34:06Speaker 4: texted me and he said, got your mail. It was
- 34:09Speaker 4: overflowing and falling out of the mailbox and he brought
- 34:13Speaker 4: it over in like two target bags.
- 34:15Speaker 5: So nice, Stuart, thank you. They're so nice.
- 34:20Speaker 4: My mail lady hates me, she does. I just hate
- 34:23Speaker 4: my mail. It's it's I've had this anxiety. I don't
- 34:26Speaker 4: know why.
- 34:27Speaker 5: If it's a condition, it is a condition, but I'm
- 34:29Speaker 5: terrified years. I don't want to do it.
- 34:32Speaker 3: I housed it for million one time and I went
- 34:34Speaker 3: to the mailbox and a mail it was a mailman
- 34:37Speaker 3: back then.
- 34:37Speaker 9: He goes hey, man, do better.
- 34:39Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't give. I leave my mail lady. I
- 34:43Speaker 5: leave my mail lady gift cards because I feel bad.
- 34:46Speaker 7: It's just part of adulting.
- 34:47Speaker 6: I know that, Like adulting is hard for you and
- 34:50Speaker 6: part adult I get it.
- 34:52Speaker 5: Adult I'm gonna be real with you.
- 34:53Speaker 4: Adulting is really hard for me sometimes because I work
- 34:55Speaker 4: a lot, I have a lot, I'm trying to balance things,
- 34:57Speaker 4: and sometimes, like the the anxiety of re adulting stuff
- 35:00Speaker 4: freaks me out, so I just avoid it.
- 35:03Speaker 5: And that's a problem. I get it. Yeah, I get it, Candace.
- 35:06Speaker 5: You want to go with your weirdest quirk, Yeah.
- 35:08Speaker 6: I mean, I guess. I just realized this was a
- 35:10Speaker 6: weird quirk. So we had friends come over for New
- 35:13Speaker 6: Year's right, a whole family that stayed with us, And
- 35:15Speaker 6: I realized that, like, I will not use the guest
- 35:19Speaker 6: bathroom until like it's been like fully clean after I
- 35:23Speaker 6: have a house guests.
- 35:24Speaker 4: You guess, yeah, okay, well you're a clean freak, that's
- 35:28Speaker 4: your quirk.
- 35:29Speaker 7: Well, no, I'm more like a germ. I'm not like
- 35:31Speaker 7: a clean freak.
- 35:32Speaker 6: But I'm more like like a little bit. And my
- 35:36Speaker 6: husband Eric realized this afterwards.
- 35:38Speaker 7: He was like that's insane.
- 35:40Speaker 5: No, that is that's me. That is funny. You are germap.
- 35:43Speaker 5: Like if you sneeze around, Candas and your mouth is
- 35:45Speaker 5: not in your elbow, she's judging it.
- 35:47Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 35:47Speaker 6: Well, I also have you know, an elementary school kid,
- 35:50Speaker 6: so I'm always like sneezing and arralb and you.
- 35:53Speaker 5: Have us too. Who what's your weirdest quirk?
- 35:59Speaker 3: I know I always think that I left some unlocked,
- 36:02Speaker 3: and my sister called me on it.
- 36:03Speaker 5: The other day.
- 36:04Speaker 3: We were because she lives in the same apartment complex,
- 36:07Speaker 3: and we were leaving my apartment. I locked the door
- 36:09Speaker 3: and then we got halfway down the hall and I
- 36:11Speaker 3: was like, man, I lock it, and she was like,
- 36:14Speaker 3: what are you doing.
- 36:14Speaker 9: I ran all the way back just to double check.
- 36:17Speaker 5: I think that's pretty normal.
- 36:18Speaker 9: It make me make sure I locked the door.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Or I have a garage sometimes I think, you know,
- 36:22Speaker 3: the garage door.
- 36:24Speaker 9: Automatically went up and I left this at side. Don't
- 36:26Speaker 9: think that's your weirdest circle of the parking lot.
- 36:29Speaker 4: I know each of you. Candice, You're right on, that's
- 36:31Speaker 4: not your weirdest. Your weirdest quirk is you laugh in
- 36:35Speaker 4: sad and tragic situations.
- 36:38Speaker 5: Your nervous. Crutch is laughing, and that's a bad quirk. Though.
- 36:41Speaker 4: The most tragic thing can happen, or the most awkward,
- 36:44Speaker 4: sad situation and giggles over here starts laughing. Yeah, but
- 36:48Speaker 4: it's sometimes it's your Someone could come in and be like, yeah,
- 36:51Speaker 4: my grandma just got hit by a bazooka, and you know,
- 36:59Speaker 4: I don't know. Okay, all right, next question, Oh, okay,
- 37:04Speaker 4: it's gonna get personal now here we go.
- 37:07Speaker 5: This is for Candace. Does Candace ever get jealous or
- 37:11Speaker 5: feel awkward after watching a sexy scene of her hubby?
- 37:14Speaker 5: Oh my god, I got to give you context if
- 37:17Speaker 5: you don't know. Her husband, Eric is an actor. He's
- 37:19Speaker 5: been in many movies, many TV shows, successful, good looking man.
- 37:25Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, datum lawn daddy. Lawn daddy we call
- 37:28Speaker 4: him because he loves his lawn.
- 37:30Speaker 6: Oh yeah.
- 37:31Speaker 9: Do you ever get jealous?
- 37:33Speaker 6: Not jealous? I mean it's always going to be uncomfortable
- 37:36Speaker 6: when you see something like that that is involving your
- 37:39Speaker 6: husband and another beautiful woman because.
- 37:42Speaker 5: He's made out with some hot girls. No, he I'm married.
- 37:46Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, for sure, ultimate hall pass.
- 37:51Speaker 6: This is his job and it's not as you know,
- 37:54Speaker 6: it's more awkward than you think when you watch it
- 37:56Speaker 6: on TV. They make it look so real and so good.
- 37:59Speaker 6: But the scenes, you know, there is an intimacy coordinator
- 38:02Speaker 6: who is making sure that everything is how it's supposed
- 38:05Speaker 6: to be right, and he's so professional. It definitely is uncomfortable.
- 38:12Speaker 6: But I don't actually get jealous. But I know these
- 38:15Speaker 6: women beforehand, so it's like they come over and have
- 38:19Speaker 6: dinner and we've gone on girl dates together, and so
- 38:22Speaker 6: I know them so well and how professional they are
- 38:24Speaker 6: and beautiful inside.
- 38:26Speaker 9: Let me ask you this, Yeah.
- 38:29Speaker 4: Out of all the actresses that he's made out with,
- 38:31Speaker 4: which one were you like, I really don't want him
- 38:33Speaker 4: making out with her.
- 38:37Speaker 6: I can't say that I know which one, but there's
- 38:40Speaker 6: none really honestly. But back in the day when we
- 38:43Speaker 6: first started dating, he was on General Hospital and that
- 38:46Speaker 6: was before we were like together together. And I'll tell
- 38:49Speaker 6: you that was like the hardest part because there were
- 38:51Speaker 6: more like scenes that were kind of close like that
- 38:55Speaker 6: and more realistic, and that whoever was on that show
- 38:59Speaker 6: at the time, that would be the answer.
- 39:00Speaker 7: I don't even know who it was.
- 39:02Speaker 5: What's the girl on the show that what's her name?
- 39:03Speaker 5: That he was had to kiss the last.
- 39:06Speaker 6: Girl Commanual Shrieky. Oh, she is an angel though beautiful
- 39:11Speaker 6: inside and outside. Everyone knows her a sloan from Entourage,
- 39:15Speaker 6: I mean she was everybody.
- 39:17Speaker 5: Who wants to kiss Eric just because his lips.
- 39:22Speaker 7: No, Emmanuel Shrieky is everything.
- 39:25Speaker 6: I would be luckier to have him be married to
- 39:28Speaker 6: her on television.
- 39:29Speaker 5: Yeah. So if you weren't on the radio, what would
- 39:33Speaker 5: you be doing?
- 39:34Speaker 2: Who?
- 39:34Speaker 5: Why don't you start this?
- 39:36Speaker 9: If I wouldn't on the radio, would I be doing?
- 39:38Speaker 3: Probably working in a warehouse or something like that, some
- 39:42Speaker 3: little common job.
- 39:43Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, nothing wrong with that.
- 39:46Speaker 4: Yeah, Cannon Sloan Pas, if you weren't on the radio,
- 39:48Speaker 4: what would you be doing?
- 39:49Speaker 6: Honestly, I think I'd be doing some type of like
- 39:52Speaker 6: wellness coaching, like lifestyle stuff, because I'm really into health
- 39:56Speaker 6: and wellness and I feel like I would have been
- 39:58Speaker 6: a good person to like motivate other people and you know,
- 40:02Speaker 6: get them on track and try to keep myself on track. Yeah,
- 40:05Speaker 6: it would be something in the wellness, right.
- 40:06Speaker 5: I think you would be too. I think you would
- 40:08Speaker 5: be too. Okay, I think I would be.
- 40:11Speaker 4: I think it's obvious what I would be I think
- 40:12Speaker 4: you could guess what I would be, Candis.
- 40:14Speaker 6: Hit the music, hit the music.
- 40:16Speaker 9: Okay, hold on music.
- 40:19Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, we know that I would have been a
- 40:22Speaker 5: canine cop. Yeah, yeah, for sure, I could see that.
- 40:24Speaker 5: I wanted to be a federal agent.
- 40:26Speaker 7: Yeah, you'd crush it at that or.
- 40:28Speaker 5: In the music business. But that's the homely story. I
- 40:30Speaker 5: was doing that for a while.
- 40:31Speaker 6: Too, right, that was your past life anyway.
- 40:33Speaker 5: Okay, there you go. So and then I don't know
- 40:36Speaker 5: why I got to be honest, I didn't. I wanted
- 40:38Speaker 5: to avoid these questions. I wanted to be like, we're
- 40:39Speaker 5: out of time. But I got a lot of questions,
- 40:42Speaker 5: and I don't know why people are interested in this.
- 40:43Speaker 4: It's weird to me. And Candas said she got some
- 40:45Speaker 4: questions along the same people are curious about, like my
- 40:50Speaker 4: love life. Yeah, and it's weird to me because well,
- 40:54Speaker 4: I'll read you some of the questions because we're gonna
- 40:56Speaker 4: have to do a part two on this because there's
- 40:58Speaker 4: so many other questions that we got. But one of
- 41:01Speaker 4: the questions was, Billy, do you have a girlfriend. One
- 41:06Speaker 4: of the questions was Billy, will you take my mom
- 41:07Speaker 4: on a date to me Cosina, which I thought was
- 41:11Speaker 4: really cute it.
- 41:14Speaker 5: Billy, do you want more kids? Oh, Billy, do you
- 41:17Speaker 5: ever talk to the secret admirer that left you cookies?
- 41:20Speaker 8: Yeah, there are a lot of questions about that.
- 41:23Speaker 6: Yeah, has he messaged her at all? The one that
- 41:27Speaker 6: admitted having a crush on him? Okay, I think you
- 41:29Speaker 6: un followed her you first?
- 41:31Speaker 5: Right?
- 41:31Speaker 4: Yeah, So I'll be real. No, I don't have a girlfriend. No,
- 41:35Speaker 4: I'm not in a relationship. Yes, I'm single.
- 41:38Speaker 5: And just to be honest, I got out of a
- 41:41Speaker 5: relationship like a year ago, maybe over a year ago,
- 41:44Speaker 5: on again, off again with the same person, who is
- 41:49Speaker 5: not a bad person whatsoever, but it was just one
- 41:53Speaker 5: of those things where you just can't get it to click.
- 41:56Speaker 5: And we tried, tried, tried, so over the past last
- 42:00Speaker 5: year or so, I would say that even if I
- 42:03Speaker 5: wanted to date, I wasn't really ready to date.
- 42:05Speaker 6: Yeah that's fair. No, we're together for how long?
- 42:09Speaker 9: Yeah, like almost five years?
- 42:10Speaker 6: Right?
- 42:10Speaker 7: You don't just bounce back, right.
- 42:12Speaker 4: So I didn't really want to because, and I know
- 42:14Speaker 4: it sounds cliche, but I was really like working on me,
- 42:17Speaker 4: going to therapy and not going to therapy because of
- 42:20Speaker 4: the relationship, going to therapy because I realized some things
- 42:23Speaker 4: that I was dealing with that I just didn't want
- 42:25Speaker 4: to hold on to.
- 42:27Speaker 5: And it was one of the.
- 42:28Speaker 4: Best decisions I think I've ever made. So will I
- 42:31Speaker 4: ever have more kids? I don't know. I mean I
- 42:35Speaker 4: doubt it at this point.
- 42:36Speaker 5: I think with my ex, if we stay together, I
- 42:38Speaker 5: probably would have because I know she wanted some I don't.
- 42:42Speaker 4: Know at this point. I mean, I think that ship
- 42:43Speaker 4: is kind of sailed. That's fair, you know, I just
- 42:47Speaker 4: can't picture it. That's as of right now. But things change.
- 42:50Speaker 4: As far as if I ever talked to the secret admyer, who,
- 42:53Speaker 4: if you don't know, left cookies at my house and
- 42:55Speaker 4: I didn't know this person had my address, but.
- 42:57Speaker 5: A neighbor of a neighbor gave it to her. No,
- 43:00Speaker 5: I never talked to her again.
- 43:02Speaker 4: She unfollowed me on Instagram because I just I wasn't
- 43:07Speaker 4: interested and it wasn't anything to do with her. It
- 43:09Speaker 4: was more to do with the fact that I just
- 43:10Speaker 4: didn't want to date right then and there, and I thought,
- 43:13Speaker 4: to be honest that it was a little bit creepy
- 43:14Speaker 4: that she left something in my door when I've never
- 43:16Speaker 4: met her.
- 43:16Speaker 6: Yeah, they were tips streets though, which.
- 43:18Speaker 5: Yeah too, Yeah, and they did taste great. Poo didn't die,
- 43:22Speaker 5: so then we ate them. He ate them first by chocolate.
- 43:25Speaker 4: But the fact of the matter is no, I was
- 43:28Speaker 4: just kind of waiting, and I get a lot of
- 43:30Speaker 4: questions about it, and I appreciate that people are interested
- 43:33Speaker 4: because I always get this question like.
- 43:35Speaker 5: Why are you single? And that's such a weird question
- 43:37Speaker 5: to me because I don't know how to answer it. Yeah,
- 43:40Speaker 5: I don't know how to answer that. Who gets that
- 43:42Speaker 5: question too? Sometimes I got that question, you know, and
- 43:45Speaker 5: you're just like, well, I don't know.
- 43:47Speaker 6: Yeah, I got it from from both of y'all, like
- 43:49Speaker 6: why are they single? And then someone said, who hurt Billy?
- 43:52Speaker 6: He seems like a great catch, but he's still single.
- 43:54Speaker 6: It's like, well, yeah, a lot of people are.
- 43:56Speaker 5: Nobody heard me. I mean, I think you just live
- 43:58Speaker 5: and you learn through relationships. It didn't work out, and
- 44:00Speaker 5: it doesn't mean they shouldn't have happened. It just goes Okay, Well,
- 44:03Speaker 5: it's time to move on and it's time to grow,
- 44:06Speaker 5: and sometimes you're just not ready to do that. It
- 44:08Speaker 5: takes time and it's tough.
- 44:10Speaker 7: Could you grow together?
- 44:11Speaker 6: You have to grow individually sometimes you know.
- 44:13Speaker 4: Exactly, And I don't think I would be the best
- 44:15Speaker 4: me for somebody else if I didn't take care of
- 44:17Speaker 4: myself over the past like year plus and go to
- 44:21Speaker 4: therapy and do whatever. Because moving forward, I want to
- 44:24Speaker 4: be a good person for whoever it is.
- 44:27Speaker 5: So that's it. So there are questions left, yes, but
- 44:30Speaker 5: do we have time?
- 44:30Speaker 3: No?
- 44:31Speaker 5: Oh y, So we'll get to them.
- 44:32Speaker 6: Bummer.
- 44:33Speaker 4: Maybe we'll do part two, you know what, We'll do
- 44:34Speaker 4: part two because there's some very interesting questions. We'll do
- 44:37Speaker 4: that later on about like eight thirties. How about that
- 44:40Speaker 4: okay deal deal we've been doing? Ask us anything because
- 44:43Speaker 4: there's I mean overwhelmed us so many good questions. I
- 44:46Speaker 4: love our peeps, I know, I love our mixed fan
- 44:48Speaker 4: who listens because there's just so many good questions coming in.
- 44:51Speaker 4: I'm like, there's got to be a part two, very
- 44:53Speaker 4: personal questions. But whatever, we got this. So and it's
- 44:56Speaker 4: good to get open and transparent with you because we
- 44:58Speaker 4: feel like you're family.
- 44:59Speaker 6: So and you dm us all your stuff too, all
- 45:01Speaker 6: the time for Candice Cord and takes, and I.
- 45:04Speaker 5: Ask you your dirty little secrets.
- 45:05Speaker 4: It's only fair if I kind of get personal too
- 45:07Speaker 4: sometimes right, so now some of these are funny, though,
- 45:10Speaker 4: can I just get to before I get to one
- 45:11Speaker 4: of the funny ones? Actually, let me ask one that
- 45:14Speaker 4: came in for Pooh that I thought was so good
- 45:16Speaker 4: and just so just oh, I can't wait to ask him?
- 45:20Speaker 5: You ready for this? Ask us anything?
- 45:22Speaker 6: This is free him.
- 45:23Speaker 5: Producer, Pooh, Here we go.
- 45:26Speaker 4: I won't say the name of the person who asked,
- 45:27Speaker 4: because I'll keep it anonymous. Like I said, she said, Pooh,
- 45:32Speaker 4: who is your favorite ex? And if you had to
- 45:36Speaker 4: get back with one, which one would you go back to?
- 45:40Speaker 6: Oh?
- 45:41Speaker 5: Oh what?
- 45:44Speaker 6: And which ex is asking this question?
- 45:47Speaker 5: Peel, it's my favorite, your favorite X? And I think
- 45:51Speaker 5: one of them is listening right now. I can't say, Oh, man,
- 45:57Speaker 5: you had to get back with one right now? Which
- 45:59Speaker 5: one would you go back with? This is so good,
- 46:03Speaker 5: so good, it'll be on the spot like that. I
- 46:05Speaker 5: mean it's her, it's a listener. No, I mean.
- 46:08Speaker 9: Man, probably my baby mama.
- 46:11Speaker 3: Oh, if I like all of them, if I had,
- 46:15Speaker 3: if I had to, I did not expect that either
- 46:19Speaker 3: it was gonna be murder.
- 46:21Speaker 5: I thought it was gonna be sea murder.
- 46:22Speaker 9: Murder. Now we fight too too much?
- 46:25Speaker 3: Wow, I love her to death, but it's yeah, I
- 46:28Speaker 3: did not expect that.
- 46:29Speaker 9: If I had to, I'm not getting back with my
- 46:31Speaker 9: baby mama.
- 46:32Speaker 6: So please, you know he wants.
- 46:33Speaker 5: Don't do it to me.
- 46:35Speaker 9: Do I miss her?
- 46:35Speaker 5: Don't be doing It's gonna ask if you missed her.
- 46:38Speaker 5: I was gonna ask you still love her?
- 46:42Speaker 9: No, but.
- 46:46Speaker 6: He maybe has love for her.
- 46:49Speaker 5: As you should.
- 46:50Speaker 9: Yeah, she got somebody. She don't need me.
- 46:53Speaker 4: Okay, no, she don't. Next question this is this is
- 46:58Speaker 4: a very personal one for Candice. Okay, is Candice having
- 47:03Speaker 4: more kids?
- 47:03Speaker 6: Oh?
- 47:04Speaker 5: You have one son?
- 47:06Speaker 7: Wow?
- 47:06Speaker 5: So who's seven? Is a very personal question, but this
- 47:09Speaker 5: is what we're here for.
- 47:10Speaker 6: Yeah, the answer is no, I am not having more kids.
- 47:15Speaker 6: That is a soft spot for me, obviously, because I
- 47:18Speaker 6: have a lot of mom guilt about only having one.
- 47:22Speaker 6: A lot. Yeah, well, you know, you have that fear
- 47:25Speaker 6: that they will be, you know, more lonely in the
- 47:29Speaker 6: future at some point, not having siblings or a big family.
- 47:34Speaker 6: But we have two nieces on one side, two nieces
- 47:37Speaker 6: on the other side, so he has a good group
- 47:39Speaker 6: of girl cousins to grow up with. But yeah, it's
- 47:44Speaker 6: it hurts to think about that.
- 47:45Speaker 7: I'll be honest.
- 47:46Speaker 6: Yeah, because I have a brother and I can't imagine
- 47:49Speaker 6: a world without him, right, And I'm gonna get get emotional.
- 47:54Speaker 5: Sorry, I don't want emotional. But at the same time,
- 47:56Speaker 5: there's nothing wrong with that.
- 47:57Speaker 6: But I'm also at the age where I when I
- 48:00Speaker 6: see someone who's pregnant, I go, oh, they're younger than me.
- 48:03Speaker 6: That's my automatic sign. So that answers the question, Now.
- 48:08Speaker 5: Your age, do have children? Now they do?
- 48:11Speaker 6: Yeah, I could, I think maybe, but it's just not
- 48:14Speaker 6: in the cards for me. I think one everything is
- 48:17Speaker 6: our world. And as like a family of three, I
- 48:20Speaker 6: think we rocket together so tight.
- 48:23Speaker 7: But no, just one.
- 48:25Speaker 6: And he's the best.
- 48:27Speaker 9: Has brothers, he's got my kids, he's got Roder.
- 48:30Speaker 5: He's got my mom.
- 48:32Speaker 9: Trust me.
- 48:34Speaker 5: Lonely, I always have a big family. Yeah, and that's
- 48:37Speaker 5: like me though I'm a single. You know, I'm I
- 48:39Speaker 5: have an only child. I have a half sister.
- 48:41Speaker 4: It was great, but I was raised as a single,
- 48:44Speaker 4: you know, an only child, and I didn't I never
- 48:45Speaker 4: felt lonely.
- 48:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 48:46Speaker 6: I put this out online at some point and I
- 48:49Speaker 6: had so many friends say, like, I'm an only child,
- 48:51Speaker 6: and guess what, I love it this way. I'm so
- 48:53Speaker 6: close to my parents. I don't have to share. I
- 48:55Speaker 6: never fought. Yeah, and you know other people who said, look,
- 48:58Speaker 6: I have siblings and we don't because it's not a
- 49:01Speaker 6: healthy relationship.
- 49:02Speaker 4: And right, And I could say this as an only child,
- 49:04Speaker 4: you you appreciate your friends more.
- 49:06Speaker 5: They become your family. Yeah, they really do.
- 49:08Speaker 6: Thank you to all the boys that hang out at
- 49:10Speaker 6: our house all the time to play.
- 49:11Speaker 9: Yeah, exactly.
- 49:13Speaker 5: What about this question? Dream vacation?
- 49:17Speaker 7: Oh?
- 49:18Speaker 6: Is that for me?
- 49:19Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 49:19Speaker 9: All of us?
- 49:20Speaker 5: Real quick?
- 49:20Speaker 6: Okay, I really want to go to Italy.
- 49:23Speaker 9: Okay, yeah, I want to go to Australia.
- 49:26Speaker 5: Australia.
- 49:27Speaker 4: Yes, I would say my dream vacation is somewhere I've
- 49:32Speaker 4: already been, the Key West with my favorite place on earth,
- 49:36Speaker 4: with my son fishing.
- 49:37Speaker 5: Nice vacation. I love it.
- 49:39Speaker 4: I could do it all the time. How did you
- 49:41Speaker 4: all meet? Someone asked this, how did you all meet? Oh,
- 49:45Speaker 4: this is a very easy one for all of us. Well,
- 49:47Speaker 4: I met in a very interesting way. I was getting
- 49:51Speaker 4: him fired and I didn't know it. I accepted a
- 49:55Speaker 4: job here at a station called Hot one hundred, came
- 49:59Speaker 4: down and and the PD, the program director at the time,
- 50:03Speaker 4: who was walking me in for my first day, forgot
- 50:05Speaker 4: to fire the other show.
- 50:08Speaker 5: This is how unprofessional radio is at turned and I
- 50:11Speaker 5: looked in the studio and I go, oh my god,
- 50:13Speaker 5: they're firing the old show right in front of me.
- 50:16Speaker 5: This is so bad.
- 50:16Speaker 4: And Pooh was one of those people, right. And then
- 50:19Speaker 4: a couple of weeks later I saw him and he's like,
- 50:21Speaker 4: why'd you fire me? And I was like I did.
- 50:24Speaker 9: I was like, you didn't even give me a chance.
- 50:26Speaker 4: He's like, well, give me my job back, and I did.
- 50:30Speaker 4: And yeah, twenty five years later, here we are.
- 50:33Speaker 6: It's amazing.
- 50:33Speaker 5: Still friends. How do we meet candas candas you can explain?
- 50:36Speaker 6: Yeah, well, I was working here in two thousand. I
- 50:40Speaker 6: started here in two thousand and two on Mix one
- 50:42Speaker 6: O two nine, and then I went over to the
- 50:44Speaker 6: other station to do traffic in the afternoon. Obviously people
- 50:48Speaker 6: know you were on KISSFM. Well, I was reporting traffic
- 50:50Speaker 6: there when they brought you over from Hot one hundred
- 50:53Speaker 6: and so you were the night show and I was
- 50:55Speaker 6: your traffic reporter and you hated me. I didn't hate you.
- 51:00Speaker 5: You were weary.
- 51:01Speaker 6: No, Well, you're a different personality and a different wo. Yeah,
- 51:06Speaker 6: you're a different level of talent than I had experienced
- 51:09Speaker 6: on the radio before, being brand new to what I
- 51:12Speaker 6: was doing and really having like a really passion and
- 51:14Speaker 6: a big dream to do this one day at this
- 51:17Speaker 6: level that we're doing today back then twenty years ago plus.
- 51:21Speaker 7: So, No, why would you think I hated you.
- 51:23Speaker 5: Because I just didn't talk around me.
- 51:25Speaker 6: Well, I was taking it all in and learning.
- 51:28Speaker 5: And I don't shut up. And I just remember that
- 51:30Speaker 5: Candice was there to do the traffic and she was
- 51:32Speaker 5: so serious and I'm going to report on six thirty
- 51:33Speaker 5: five and then we're going to talk about thirty in
- 51:35Speaker 5: the track, and I was just like, not that serious, right.
- 51:38Speaker 5: I remember trying to talk to her about her personal
- 51:40Speaker 5: life on the air and she clammed up so much.
- 51:43Speaker 6: Yeah, well I wasn't prepared a and be our boss
- 51:46Speaker 6: back then. You know him, he was like super like legit,
- 51:50Speaker 6: he hated it. Yeah, And so I was like, this
- 51:52Speaker 6: is my first job on this station. I've been trying
- 51:54Speaker 6: to get on airbar and he let me and I'm
- 51:57Speaker 6: not going to.
- 51:57Speaker 4: Ruin this traffic got done one time and I look
- 52:00Speaker 4: at Candis and she's like, go, what are you doing?
- 52:03Speaker 4: And I stopped and I said, so what's your deal, Candice?
- 52:05Speaker 4: Are you single or.
- 52:08Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 52:09Speaker 6: And then you would call me when I would leave.
- 52:11Speaker 6: You were to be on the show and I'd be
- 52:12Speaker 6: at home and you'd call me on the air and
- 52:14Speaker 6: ask me random personal questions.
- 52:18Speaker 5: And then I just had her on the show and
- 52:19Speaker 5: I was like, you know what, She's the best.
- 52:22Speaker 3: So thank you.
- 52:22Speaker 6: Here we are twenty two years here, we are.
- 52:24Speaker 5: Living our dream right now. What about this one? Okay?
- 52:28Speaker 5: The top thing you like to do when you're off work, oh, Candice?
- 52:32Speaker 6: Sleep?
- 52:32Speaker 5: Okay, sleep and play with my son? Who eat mine
- 52:38Speaker 5: is hang out with my son and my dog.
- 52:40Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 52:40Speaker 6: I like going to sports.
- 52:41Speaker 5: And then let's end it with this one real quick.
- 52:44Speaker 5: Has Pooh ever been tested for diabetes? His diet is awful?
- 52:50Speaker 5: Oh much so much so to answer your question.
- 52:54Speaker 3: Yes, I did test and the results I don't have it.
- 53:01Speaker 5: I love that we're doing this.
- 53:02Speaker 4: We're doing it again because it was just it was
- 53:05Speaker 4: awesome the first time we did it. We are nominating
- 53:07Speaker 4: teachers for our Outstanding Teacher pretty much award and they
- 53:11Speaker 4: get five thousand dollars, yeah, five grand to spend on
- 53:14Speaker 4: their classroom. So nominate your favorite teacher and then spread
- 53:18Speaker 4: the word to iHeartRadio dot com slash teachers. iHeartRadio dot
- 53:23Speaker 4: com slash teachers.
- 53:24Speaker 5: It's just it's one of those jobs that to me,
- 53:26Speaker 5: we have a special place in our heart for teachers
- 53:28Speaker 5: on the show, Yes we do, because they're just I
- 53:30Speaker 5: don't know, they're just so unappreciated, underpaid, and.
- 53:33Speaker 6: They're with our kids sometimes more than we are.
- 53:35Speaker 4: They really are, especially when both parents are working and
- 53:37Speaker 4: everything's so hard. They just we rely on them more
- 53:40Speaker 4: than we know. I think most of us do know.
- 53:42Speaker 4: We just haven't figured out a way to pay them
- 53:44Speaker 4: like they should and appreciate them like they should. So
- 53:46Speaker 4: we're just gonna highlight some of the teachers that have
- 53:48Speaker 4: been nominated. And I saw this one from Dan Powell
- 53:52Speaker 4: Early Learning Academy and for Worth somebody nominated nominated.
- 53:55Speaker 5: Jessica Gonzalez is Jessica Gonzalez?
- 53:58Speaker 3: Yes?
- 53:59Speaker 11: Is this her?
- 54:00Speaker 5: Jessica? How are you this morning?
- 54:01Speaker 6: I'm great?
- 54:02Speaker 5: How are you? I'm good?
- 54:03Speaker 4: Sorry to call you out of nowhere. My name is
- 54:05Speaker 4: Billy the Kid. Candice Lopez is here, producer, who is here?
- 54:07Speaker 4: We're on mixed one or two point nine. And you've
- 54:09Speaker 4: been nominated as an Outstanding teacher so congratulations.
- 54:15Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 54:15Speaker 5: Oh my goodness, we just wanted to call and tell
- 54:17Speaker 5: you that. So that means you're in the running for
- 54:20Speaker 5: five thousand dollars for your classroom. So if you win,
- 54:22Speaker 5: that's five grand you could spend on whatever you want.
- 54:25Speaker 11: Oh my goodness.
- 54:25Speaker 5: Do you know who nominated you?
- 54:27Speaker 6: By the way, Yes, it's actually one of my coworkers.
- 54:30Speaker 5: She's so sweet.
- 54:31Speaker 4: Can I read you the message because I thought it
- 54:33Speaker 4: was so nice what she said about you.
- 54:34Speaker 6: I would love to hear it.
- 54:36Speaker 4: Corty wrote in, and she said, Jessica is the kind
- 54:38Speaker 4: of teacher that every parent hopes their child will have.
- 54:42Speaker 4: She's loving, patient, gives it her all every single day.
- 54:46Speaker 4: Going into her seventh year of teaching kindergarten, she continues
- 54:49Speaker 4: to create a magical space for students to learn and grow.
- 54:54Speaker 5: And I thought that was so special.
- 54:56Speaker 6: That is so sweet. What that was the serotonin I
- 54:59Speaker 6: needed to morning to get through the days.
- 55:01Speaker 4: Oh well, hey, we appreciate what you do, and we
- 55:04Speaker 4: just wanted to say thank you and highlight you. And
- 55:06Speaker 4: we wouldn't be in this world without people like you
- 55:08Speaker 4: because you make it happen, and teachers are just so underappreciated.
- 55:11Speaker 4: So thank you, thank you, and have a great day.
- 55:14Speaker 4: And I'm I and I hope you win. Jessica, don't
- 55:16Speaker 4: tell everybody else.
- 55:17Speaker 6: Okay, I'm so sweet.
- 55:19Speaker 9: All right, have a great day. Thank you so much.
- 55:22Speaker 6: Thank you you guys, thank you for all that you
- 55:24Speaker 6: do as
