- 0:12SPEAKER_00: Can open our eyes to things that are empowering.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: Father, let there let there be divine changes, let there be chang kingdom changes, let there be changes for for the reality of life.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: Let what is said and done here, let it cause a new spring in our step, a smile on our face, and your glory upon our lives.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: We thank you, Father, for your goodness today and this opportunity in Jesus' wonderful saving name.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: We're going to look at something.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: We found a title here.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: You don't like to use negative terminology, but this was the best we could come up with.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: We're going to look at what really, really was the curse of Adam when we look at the curse of man that came from the beginning.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: And it'll be important because when we look at it, you know, as we look at these things, we get down to the center of what's really real, what it's really all about, and what's really important.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: You know, the word says that when those of us who run, the athlete who runs, does not get tangled up in the affairs of this life.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: Doesn't mean that we don't do things in life.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: We've got our hands in all kinds of things, but we don't get tangled up by them.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: In other words, we keep our eyes on reality.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: We keep our heart is fixed because we know something.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: And our faith grows as we look at reality and we're changed by that reality.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: And what's the change that happens?
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: Instead of living a curse situation, we're living a tree of life situation.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: There's joy, there's peace, there's goodness, there's there's just really the heaven experience that that happens inside of us.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: And that's where it's all at.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: The kingdom of God is here.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: You know, there's a lot of people, a lot of people in Christianity, they're still waiting for the kingdom in some future, some future hour.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: Even 2,000 years ago, they asked Jesus about that, and he says, it doesn't come like that.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: You're not going to see it with your eyes that way.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: It's not going to be that you wait and you wait and you wait and you wait, you know, thousands of years and thousands of years, and then suddenly it comes.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: He says, the kingdom is within you.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: And when Jesus did what he did, it worked.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: That's why he's seated right now.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: He is sitting down.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: The works are finished.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: And he and he's seated because he did what he came to do.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: He put the kingdom in the earth, and it's right here.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: It's right in the hearts of men.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: And like I've been saying a lot lately, it is the reality, it is the answer, it is the one thing that all of mankind has been crying for.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: It is the reverse of the curse.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: It is the redemption from the curse of man, the original curse.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: Now, when we look at this, well, let's go ahead and start reading it in Genesis.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: We go to Genesis chapter 17.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: Oh, chapter 3, verse 17.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: This is why two are better than one.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: Chapter 3 of Genesis, verse 17.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: And unto Adam he said, watch this, because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and you've eaten of the tree that I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: Cursed is the ground for your sake.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: In sorrow shall you eat of it all the days of your life.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: Now I want to pause there just for a second.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: And we have to first of all see what brought that curse.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Well, let's keep reading what the curse is, just so we can get a good picture of it.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: He says, verse 18, Thorns and thistles it'll bring forth to you, and you shall eat the herb of the field.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: Verse 19, in the sweat of your face shall you eat bread till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken, for dust you are, and unto dust you shall return.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: So he talks about how he uses the word sorrow.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: In sorrow you're going to eat your bread.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: The ground will be cursed.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: That word curse means it will be despicable.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: It will be, it will be, it'll it'll be a bad thing, a hard thing.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: In other words, he's saying, Your life now, what's going on is this.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: He says, Adam, remember earlier when Adam was hiding because he was naked and afraid?
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: And God said, Who told you that?
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: Who told you that you were naked?
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: I bring that up a lot.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: And he says, Have you, he says, Who told you you were naked?
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Have you eaten of that tree that I told you not to eat?
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: Because God knows the only way you can feel what you're feeling, the only way you can be afraid is from that tree.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: You can't get that unless you unless you partake of the knowledge of good and evil, you would not be afraid, Adam.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: Unless you partake of the knowledge of good and evil, you would not be ashamed.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: Now think of that.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: Because there is a lot of fear that people experience, and they experience it so much, and it's so common that that human beings think it's just life.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: It's just how it is.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: It's just existing, it's just how it how it is.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: It's just normal.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: But God says you wouldn't have that unless you ate of that tree.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: People feel shame.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: This is why they fight fight to defend themselves all the time.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: They fight to put themselves in the best light.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: They they won't accept, it's hard for mankind to humble themselves because of the shame that they're that they're feeling, so they're always trying to cover themselves, make themselves look better, whatever.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: And and and man feels shame, and God says, Why do you feel shame?
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: Have you partaken of the knowledge of good and evil?
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: Is that what you chose?
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: Is that what you're living by now?
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: Are you hearing that?
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: So we want to make this really clear that this is this is something that's really clear.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: If you can see this here, my goodness, it'll cause you to just enjoy eating what's real and what's eternal and what's beneficial.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: See, one of our biggest problems is this idea of what is normal.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: Because mankind has lived in a normal that is Adam's fallen condition normal, the curse normal.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: Sorrow.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: He says you'll eat in sorrow.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: Sorrow, sadness, depression has become a very normal, it's a very normal thing.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: And what is it?
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: It's just part of living, it's just part of life.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: It's something that we that we deal with.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: There's, you know, what do you do?
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: But with what we see, God's saying here is that that would not exist unless we partook of the knowledge of good and evil, or partake of it.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: And I submit today that you you we do not, with what Jesus has given us now, with the tree of life is what he's given us to eat of, we have an option.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: We have an opportunity to get out of the sorrow.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: We have an opportunity to be out of the shame and of the fear.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: We see it in our own lives as we're growing.
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: When I look at where I was to where I've come so far, I just think, my goodness, Father, it just makes me want to cry sometimes.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: I'm like, what have you done?
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: You've you've you've you've brought me out of so much oppression.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: That perpetual sorrow that I once lived in.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: The fear and the shame, the shame was a big one for me.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: The shame, you took you, what happened there?
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: It got replaced by the other tree, the tree of life.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: Who is Jesus, who is the Spirit of Christ in us, but He but that tree of life becomes our food.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: So we partake of one or the other.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: To this day it still happens.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: And I hope you can see this because I love you and I want to bless you, and I want you to have heaven on earth every day.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: And if I if I could have my way and make it happen, nobody here would ever feel fear, sorrow, shame, or the pain of that existence ever, ever, ever again.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: Jesus came to put his kingdom in us, fixing all of that, and is set down at the right hand of the Father, and the work that's going on now is Him living in us, His Spirit living in us is revealing these things to us because He wants us to know what's been freely given to us.
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: He loves us and He came to give us heaven.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: And so He says, and then He describes it with these thorns and thistles, and you'll live by the sweat of your face.
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: In other words, Adam, it's just gonna be hard.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: Your days are gonna be hard.
- 8:33SPEAKER_00: I didn't want you to go to make that choice because I didn't want it to be hard for you.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: Now, the alternative was that the tree of life would be God.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: And he describes it so well in Deuteronomy when he says, when he says, I set before you life and death and blessing and cursing.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: Choose life so you can live, and I am that life.
- 8:53SPEAKER_00: We know that joy is in Jesus, that he is the Prince of Peace, and so on.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: So we compare that now.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: Now look at that and compare that to Matthew chapter 11.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: And we see really look at how dramatic and how dynamic this other thing is that Jesus brought us.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: He didn't just come to create a new religion.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: He didn't come to give people something to do on a Sunday morning.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: He didn't even come, he didn't even come to bring in a morality on the planet.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: It would result in that, obviously.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: But he came to give rest because mankind was in sorrow, pain, shame, fear, in that cursed situation because of eating of that tree.
- 9:46SPEAKER_00: Now, I want to say this.
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: To this very day, when we see this so clear, it becomes so much easier to make our decisions of what we're going to eat from.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: Because one brings everything we just read about.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: It brings hardship in life, brings sorrow, pain.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: The other one brings love, joy, peace, gentleness, goodness, kindness.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: It's the fruit of that tree, the fruit of the Spirit.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: So Matthew 11, we see what Jesus is bringing to us in verse 28.
- 10:18SPEAKER_00: He says, Come to me, all you that labor and are heavy laden.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: What's he talking about here?
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: This is the burden of Adam.
- 10:24SPEAKER_00: This is the sorrow of Adam.
- 10:25SPEAKER_00: This is the pain, the shame, the fear of that, this is the hardship of Adam.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: He says, All of you guys, you've been under that, you've been living by that knowledge of good and evil.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: All of mankind has since the very beginning.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: I've come to give you life.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: I've come to give you another diet.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: I've come to replace that with something else.
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: I've come to lay the axe to the root of that tree and give you the tree of life, because in that life there is rest.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: Partaking of that.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: Now, the partaking of it, remember that whole story about the two trees, that indicates a choice.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: A choice that man made or a choice that man makes to this day that says, I'm going to live by the knowledge of good and evil.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: Now, I got to say this right off the bat.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: Is there, are there or are there not absolutes?
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: Is there such a thing, Rick, as right and wrong, good and evil?
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: Yes, there are.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: In fact, in Genesis, remember, God said something interesting.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: He says, Man has become now become like one of us to know good and evil.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: In other words, that shows that God does know good and evil.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: It's not that he doesn't.
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: God knows what's good, God knows what's evil, he knows what's what we would call right and wrong, he knows that.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: But why is it so why is why can't God have that?
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: But it's so horrible for man to have it.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: It's not necessarily horrible for man to have the knowledge of good and evil, but what that what that choice did was it it we chose to be led by the knowledge of good and evil.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: In other words, God has the knowledge of good and evil.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: He knows what's good and he knows what's evil, but he doesn't live by that.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: He's not motivated by that, he does not judge by that, he does not, he knows what's good, what's bad, but he is life.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: He lives by goodness, by love, by mercy, by something so much bigger than that.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: And so while there is good and evil, then there also is life.
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: Man chose, instead of life, he chose to live on this little low-level thing of living by, judging by, discerning and determining by, making decisions and choices by, living relationships by, the knowledge of good and evil.
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: And the thing about it, the thing that makes it so bad, is that we've we're we've received that without the knowledge of life.
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: God is life.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: See, he can know what's right and wrong, but it doesn't affect what he thinks about you.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: Because God is love.
- 12:57SPEAKER_00: Mankind without love can have all knowledge and understand all mysteries, can have the knowledge of good and evil.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: But without love, he's nothing and he's just making noise.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: Making noise.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: Since you're just a clanging cymbal, sounding brass.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: Doesn't it seem very noisy on the planet right now?
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: Aren't people making a lot of noise?
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: And what is that noise about?
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: What are they declaring with that noise?
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: They're declaring good and evil.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: Good and evil.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: Ones that believe this side of a situation say we're good, you're evil.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: Ones that on that side of a situation say we're good, we're evil.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: People that are this color say we're good, you're evil.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: People that are that color say we're good, you're evil.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: People that from this country say we're good, you're evil.
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: People from that country say we're good, you're evil.
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: They they have, they're living by a knowledge of good and evil that's not always even a correct knowledge because they don't, they're not taking in the knowledge of God in it.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: Only that can give you that.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: That's why there's so much noise.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: And it's the noise all centered around this low-level existence that man chose to live by that knowledge of good and evil.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: So they judge, so they criticize, so they condemn.
- 14:18SPEAKER_00: Not first of all, themselves.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: That was the first judgment we see.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: Adam judging himself.
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: Adam condemning himself.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: Because that's all he's got is knowledge of good and evil.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: He looks at himself.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: He wasn't made sufficient in himself.
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: Of course he falls short.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: Man's not sufficient in himself.
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: We were made to be one with God, to live by him.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: In him we're to live and move and have our very being.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: That's how, that's what gets restored to us in Christ.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: But Adam, but but Adam on his own, with this knowledge of good and evil, not having that, not retaining the knowledge of God, not having that knowledge of good and evil with love, which is the nature of God, what does he do?
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: He condemns himself.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: He condemned himself with a judgment and a criticism that God did not give to him because he was naked all the time.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: I say it so many times.
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: He was naked the whole time.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: God said, Who told you that?
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: I didn't tell you that.
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: I don't do that.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: I don't do that.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: Did God know he was naked?
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: Did God know that Adam was not sufficient in himself?
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: He said in in uh Isaiah, he says, You were in the garden until iniquity was found in you.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: Adam found iniquity.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: Were there things the West B-West the best way I can say it is that man sees his shortcomings because he's insufficient of himself, of his own flesh.
- 15:53SPEAKER_00: And because of that, he condemned himself with a condemnation God didn't condemn him, because God knew man's insufficiencies, and he's us to this day.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: That's why he's not demanding.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: See, if he just if God just lived by the knowledge of good and evil, he'd be demanding of you.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: And this is why we make an image of God that's a very demanding God, because we, mankind, lives under that curse of the knowledge of good and evil, so they create a God in their own image who also lives by the knowledge of good and evil.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: But he doesn't.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: That's why Jesus said, you do all that, but you forget the weightier matters of the law, justice and mercy and the character of God.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: But he puts a, he takes on a condemnation that God never gave him.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: And what happens if somebody, freely we receive, freely we give.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: If I am receiving condemnation, then I am freely also going to give condemnation.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: That's when I why when I hear condemners talking, when I hear critical people, when I hear people judging another, I feel so sorry for the person that's doing it because I know it's happening to you.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: That you're feeling the pressure of that, you're feeling the condemnation, you're feeling the criticism, you're taking all that on, and you're dishing it out because of living in that low level of oppression of Adam, the curse, the pain, the shame, the fear, the sorrow, all those things.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: 2020's been an interesting year, we'll never forget it.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: But I can honestly tell you, my goodness, my in God, do I know good and evil?
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of things that I hate about this year, a lot of things being done that I don't like, and neither do you.
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: When we live by that knowledge, we're tangled up in it, what happens?
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: We hate, we get angry, we fear, we get afraid for our country, we get afraid for the kingdom of God, we get afraid for the purpose of God, we get afraid, we get afraid, we get afraid, and fear, as Yoda says in Star Wars, fear brings hate, hate brings anger, and anger brings violence.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: War.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: And all that noise is going on.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: Simply because of Adam.
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: Simply because of man living by the knowledge of good and evil, even though Jesus has come.
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: And honestly, I, you know, like I said, I've we can't avoid the noise.
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: It's all there.
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: I hear noise on this side, and it's just grating to the ear.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: But I'll be honest with you, I've heard noise come from the church people, and it's just as grating to my ear.
- 18:27SPEAKER_00: Something's what is it that's not right about it?
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: It's the knowledge of good and evil coming out of the church's mouth.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: Whoa, wait a minute.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: Are there absolutes?
- 18:40SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: Is there right and wrong?
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: But we live by the higher way, we live by life, we live by the nature of God.
- 18:50SPEAKER_00: In him there is peace.
- 18:52SPEAKER_00: Is there trouble in the world?
- 18:53SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: But in him, there's peace.
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: It's been an interesting, noisy year.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: I can tell you, I've had peace every day of it.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: I've had love for mankind every day of it.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: Where did that come from?
- 19:11SPEAKER_00: Are you so wonderful, Rick?
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: I'm insufficient, just like everybody else.
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: We don't, we can't do this.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: We've all lived it lived the way it way of Adam.
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: But there's somebody that's in us.
- 19:24SPEAKER_00: Greater is he that's in us, greater than he that's in all the stuff that's in the world, greater than the knowledge of good and evil, greater than this curse of sorrow and fear and pain and oppression.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: There is a way that seems right, but its end is death and destruction.
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: There is a way that Adam did not think was right, but it is the way of life.
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: Thank God Jesus demonstrated it, he showed it, he taught it, and he brought it to us.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: He says, now, all that you've been living under that curse of the knowledge of good and evil.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: Come to me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, I will give you rest.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: People, at this world, everybody, the church world, everybody needs rest for their soul.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: This is the heaven that you're looking for.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: You're not going to get heaven by fixing all that out there.
- 20:12SPEAKER_00: You're not going to fix it.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: I only get one vote.
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: But Jesus fixes this.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: Psalms 112 speaks of the new creation.
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: He said, A generation which shall be created.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: They will not be moved at bad tidings.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: They shall not fear, for their heart is fixed.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: This is where the kingdom is.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: Whew! He says, verse 29, so take my yoke upon you and learn of me.
- 20:42SPEAKER_00: Now you've learned all about the knowledge of good and evil.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: You've been learning it for thousands of years.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: Now let me bring in some different, a different diet.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: Take my yoke and learn about me, because I'm meek and I'm humble.
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: I got no condemnation in me.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: I've got no man's judgment of good and evil.
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: I've got something bigger than that.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: Do I know good and evil?
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: But what I give is life.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: I'm meek and I'm lowly in heart, humble, and learn of me, and you'll find rest for your soul.
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: This is what he wanted.
- 21:14SPEAKER_00: This was the heaven that he came to bring us in this earth.
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: My yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
- 21:22SPEAKER_00: Now, the picture, I love the picture of the yoke.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: I'm so glad he says that because the yoke is, you know, it'll bind two working animals.
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: A couple of oxen.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: And the reason he says, take my yoke upon you, is because when we take his yoke upon us, we've had another yoke.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: We've had a yoke of bondage that Paul speaks of.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: He says, Don't go back into that yoke of bondage.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: What's it do?
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: It makes it hard, it puts pressure on you.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: That's why you live by the sweat of your brow.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: Why life is hard, life is hard, and when the hard things come up, it makes it hard for you.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: He said, But though there's tribulation, there There's peace in me.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: So be of good cheer.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: Be happy in the midst of all of this stuff.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: Be happy in the midst of 2020 and COVID and politics and all this stuff.
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: Be happy because I've overcome the world.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: Well, how did I overcome it?
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: And here, while all this mess is going on, there's heaven happening every single day.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: You wake up with love.
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: You wake up with joy.
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: You wake up with peace.
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: How do you do that?
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: Because you're in denial of what's going on?
- 22:26SPEAKER_00: No, you can't deny it.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: It's out there.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: It's all over the place.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: It's in your ears all the time.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: Then how do you live like that?
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: Because your eyes are open and you see something that's more real and eternal and powerful than all of that.
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: And it causes you to know why you're here and who you are and what life is really all about.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: And it gets you out of the entanglement of all that stuff.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: And causes you to stand in the place that you really are with God in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, sons of the living God, that have this abundance of goodness.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: We don't have curse to give people.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: I don't care if they're in good or evil.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: Judging by living by that knowledge, we put them in those camps.
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: With God, he doesn't put people in those camps.
- 23:10SPEAKER_00: He makes no division there.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: The wisdom from above, James says, it has no partiality.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: It doesn't divide those like that.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: For God so loved the world.
- 23:19SPEAKER_00: Oh, I gotta hurry because there's some good stuff here.
- 23:22SPEAKER_00: But the yoke there, when we put his yoke upon us, we see what the gospel is all about.
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: He takes all the weight on him, doesn't he?
- 23:29SPEAKER_00: So we don't feel any weight.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: That's why he says you're heavy burdened by the yoke that you've been living by.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: Living on your own with your knowledge of good and evil, living under that curse of hardship, that yoke is too heavy for you to bear.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: All you've got to do is look around.
- 23:43SPEAKER_00: Doctors will tell you that.
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: These bodies and this mind, this human mind, is not equipped to handle the stress of life that we've been dealing with.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: We don't have a capacity to do it.
- 23:57SPEAKER_00: We were never ever created to.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: We were never supposed to have any of it.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: But we've had so much we call it life.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: We call it normal.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: When what it is, is the the curse, what it is, is the effect of the knowledge of good and evil.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: I may want to make sure I say this.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: All that stuff, when God said, all those hardships is going to be hard on you now.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: I've got to make this point.
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: God was not cursing the people.
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: He said, it's hard because of what you have chosen.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: Now it's going to be hard for your sake, not mine, said the Lord.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: For your sake, because you want to live that way.
- 24:37SPEAKER_00: Your life is going to be hard, Adam.
- 24:39SPEAKER_00: I didn't want that.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: I love you.
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: I didn't want you living like that.
- 24:45SPEAKER_00: You're going to live by the sweat of your brow.
- 24:47SPEAKER_00: I could have borne all of that.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: I could have taken care of all of that for you.
- 24:51SPEAKER_00: You wouldn't have had to live by the sweat of your brow.
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: In any way, emotionally, spiritually.
- 24:57SPEAKER_00: You wouldn't have had to live, you wouldn't have had to live with sorrow and pain and fear.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: I would have taken all every bit of that for you.
- 25:06SPEAKER_00: That's what this whole plan was.
- 25:07SPEAKER_00: Me and you together, me doing all the work and my love supplying completely to you everything that I wanted to give to you.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: But that knowledge of good and evil made you your own God.
- 25:22SPEAKER_00: You did all the deciding, you did all the judging.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: You did all the decisions.
- 25:30SPEAKER_00: And that's too much for you.
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: This world, the things of life are too much.
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: You can't do this on your own.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: You're going to stress, you're going to cry yourself to sleep.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: Many of you are going to kill yourselves because it's just too hard.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: Come to me.
- 25:46SPEAKER_00: Take my yoke upon you.
- 25:48SPEAKER_00: You'll find rest for your souls.
- 25:50SPEAKER_00: I won't put anything heavy on you.
- 25:53SPEAKER_00: I won't put any judgment on you.
- 25:55SPEAKER_00: I won't put any oppression on you.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: My yoke is easy.
- 25:59SPEAKER_00: My burden is light.
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: People, this is real.
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: This heaven on earth experience is real, and it all happens inside of us.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: It all happens inside of us.
- 26:08SPEAKER_00: Colossians chapter 1.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: Verse 19 says, For it pleased the Father that in him all the fullness shall dwell.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: Somebody say fullness.
- 26:22SPEAKER_00: This is the fullness of life.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: This is it.
- 26:24SPEAKER_00: It's here.
- 26:24SPEAKER_00: This is why we proclaim this gospel.
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: It's real, it's here, it happens in our heart.
- 26:30SPEAKER_00: We are partaking of the tree of life, and it's feeding us.
- 26:34SPEAKER_00: We're partaking, we're choosing not to live by that thing that brings a cursed situation in life, a hardship of life.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: We're living by the perfection of God.
- 26:45SPEAKER_00: We're eating of those things.
- 26:47SPEAKER_00: Thinking on these things, whatsoever things are true, pure, lovely, praiseworthy, of good report, things of virtue and praise.
- 26:57SPEAKER_00: There's anything like that, those are the things that we think of.
- 27:00SPEAKER_00: These are the things of heaven.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: Why do we even want to do the other anyway?
- 27:08SPEAKER_00: We know what happens.
- 27:08SPEAKER_00: What happens when you start thinking along those lines that knowledge of good and evil?
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: You get mad at somebody, you get frustrated, you get, you never can do enough.
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: There's no good thing.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: The Bible says from that wisdom that did not come from above, it comes from below, it's from the earth.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: He says there's confusion in every evil thing that goes on.
- 27:36SPEAKER_00: And I want to say again, people have been in it so long.
- 27:40SPEAKER_00: They think it's life, they think it's normal.
- 27:42SPEAKER_00: What we're declaring, when we declare this gospel from week to week, wherever we go, what we're declaring when we tell people this gospel, when we live with that gospel before them, when we demonstrate this gospel and speak this, the things that that accompany the beauty of this gospel, what we're doing is we're saying there is another way.
- 27:59SPEAKER_00: Jesus did come.
- 28:00SPEAKER_00: He did do what he did, and it did work, and it's here.
- 28:03SPEAKER_00: And any of you can have this in your heart.
- 28:06SPEAKER_00: It pleased the Father that in him all fullness should dwell.
- 28:09SPEAKER_00: And having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him, watch this, to reconcile all things unto himself.
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: By him I say, whether there are things in earth or things in heaven, to reconcile all things.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: So I got no judgment on anything or anybody.
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: In fact, Paul said in 2 Corinthians 15, henceforth, from now on, from now on, we judge no man after the flesh.
- 28:37SPEAKER_00: Though we once did.
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: He says, Because our message is that we are ambassadors for God, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not counting their sins against them.
- 28:53SPEAKER_00: And committed to us that same word now of reconciliation.
- 28:57SPEAKER_00: If I live by the knowledge of good and evil, I'm going to condemn some of you, I'm going to judge some of you, I'm going to disengage from some of you.
- 29:06SPEAKER_00: I'm going to fear some of you.
- 29:08SPEAKER_00: I can't love you.
- 29:09SPEAKER_00: I'm going to fear you.
- 29:11SPEAKER_00: There's nothing good about it.
- 29:13SPEAKER_00: We're home, man.
- 29:14SPEAKER_00: Welcome to the kingdom of God.
- 29:16SPEAKER_00: He said in verse 21, watch this.
- 29:20SPEAKER_00: And you that were some time, or for some time, for a while, you were alienated, which means you were not partaking.
- 29:27SPEAKER_00: Look it up.
- 29:28SPEAKER_00: Simply means you were not a partaker of God.
- 29:32SPEAKER_00: You were alienated and enemies.
- 29:36SPEAKER_00: How and where?
- 29:37SPEAKER_00: How were we enemies?
- 29:38SPEAKER_00: In our mind.
- 29:39SPEAKER_00: Enemies in your mind.
- 29:40SPEAKER_00: God came to walk with Adam in the cool.
- 29:42SPEAKER_00: God was never became an enemy of man, but man became an enemy of God in his mind.
- 29:47SPEAKER_00: That's why Adam ran from God.
- 29:49SPEAKER_00: That's why Adam hid.
- 29:50SPEAKER_00: That's why Adam felt separated.
- 29:52SPEAKER_00: Adam went against God.
- 29:53SPEAKER_00: And then he says, look at this.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: Why were we enemies in our mind?
- 29:56SPEAKER_00: Because of sin or wicked works.
- 29:59SPEAKER_00: We judged the knowledge of good and evil and the sin caused us to be unlovable, caused us to be condemned, caused us to not be good enough.
- 30:13SPEAKER_00: So by our knowledge of good and evil, we keep trying to be good enough.
- 30:18SPEAKER_00: Because we were separated.
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: Enemies in our mind.
- 30:21SPEAKER_00: I'll tell you something that's really important here.
- 30:25SPEAKER_00: There are people that can say, I do not believe in God.
- 30:29SPEAKER_00: I've heard people say, I believe in God, but I hate.
- 30:31SPEAKER_00: I heard somebody say this.
- 30:32SPEAKER_00: He says, I do believe in God, but I hate him because he hated me first.
- 30:36SPEAKER_00: Now that hurts.
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: For somebody that would think that, where does he get that?
- 30:42SPEAKER_00: His own knowledge of good and evil that doesn't have the knowledge of God, so he can say, you can come up with anything in the world.
- 30:50SPEAKER_00: And people can say they're enemies of God.
- 30:53SPEAKER_00: But on God's end, he has no enemies.
- 30:58SPEAKER_00: None.
- 30:59SPEAKER_00: God loves the world, reconciled, and holds no trespasses against them.
- 31:06SPEAKER_00: That's B-I-B-L-E.
- 31:08SPEAKER_00: 2 Corinthians 5.
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 31:13SPEAKER_00: Well, doesn't he know what's right and wrong?
- 31:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but he lives by a bigger thing.
- 31:17SPEAKER_00: He lives by goodness and mercy and love.
- 31:19SPEAKER_00: And that gives him understanding.
- 31:21SPEAKER_00: He knows why they're all doing what they're doing.
- 31:23SPEAKER_00: They're living under a curse.
- 31:25SPEAKER_00: Why are they doing it?
- 31:26SPEAKER_00: They're afraid.
- 31:26SPEAKER_00: Why are they afraid?
- 31:27SPEAKER_00: They're living by the knowledge of good and evil.
- 31:28SPEAKER_00: What's the answer?
- 31:29SPEAKER_00: Give them life.
- 31:31SPEAKER_00: Not condemn them, not hate them, not smite them, not destroy them.
- 31:38SPEAKER_00: When we live by the knowledge of good and evil, we start putting a lot of Old Testament stuff that we misinterpret and we put it on God.
- 31:44SPEAKER_00: Because that's what we would do.
- 31:49SPEAKER_00: If God was like man, without love, without mercy, without understanding, but if all God had was a knowledge of good and evil, he would do like a lot of us want God to do.
- 31:59SPEAKER_00: And I promise you, you might think you want God to do that, but if God starts smiting evil, who's left?
- 32:04SPEAKER_00: Who can stand?
- 32:06SPEAKER_00: Huh?
- 32:07SPEAKER_00: When did we think we were good?
- 32:09SPEAKER_00: Jesus himself said, Why are you calling even me good?
- 32:11SPEAKER_00: He said, There's nobody good except the Father.
- 32:14SPEAKER_00: When did we get good?
- 32:15SPEAKER_00: We're not good.
- 32:18SPEAKER_00: We're just like everybody else.
- 32:21SPEAKER_00: And there, but for the grace of God, go I because I was there.
- 32:28SPEAKER_00: And I didn't get where I'm at because I got good.
- 32:31SPEAKER_00: I got mercy.
- 32:33SPEAKER_00: I got my sins not imputed against me.
- 32:36SPEAKER_00: I got reconciled.
- 32:39SPEAKER_00: Are y'all hearing?
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: He says, we were alienated.
- 32:43SPEAKER_00: We were enemies in our mind by wicked works.
- 32:45SPEAKER_00: Why did I resist God?
- 32:47SPEAKER_00: Why did I continue to not come?
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: I would hear that gospel and say, I won't do it.
- 32:50SPEAKER_00: That's not for me.
- 32:51SPEAKER_00: I just can't do God.
- 32:52SPEAKER_00: I can't do church.
- 32:53SPEAKER_00: I can't.
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: Why did I think that?
- 32:55SPEAKER_00: Because my mind was lying to me.
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: With my own knowledge of good and evil, I was like Adam that thought I had to keep pulling away from God because this God could never like me in my condition.
- 33:08SPEAKER_00: Or he was too demanding and I could never do enough.
- 33:12SPEAKER_00: Where did we?
- 33:13SPEAKER_00: We made that up.
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: Not with truth.
- 33:17SPEAKER_00: We made it up with our own knowledge of good and evil.
- 33:21SPEAKER_00: Enemies in our mind.
- 33:24SPEAKER_00: And those of us who were yet now, he has reconciled.
- 33:28SPEAKER_00: He did it.
- 33:29SPEAKER_00: He did it in the body of his flesh through death.
- 33:31SPEAKER_00: Watch this.
- 33:32SPEAKER_00: This is so powerful.
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: To present you, what's that word?
- 33:36SPEAKER_00: Holy.
- 33:37SPEAKER_00: Say holy.
- 33:38SPEAKER_00: To present you holy, blameless, and above reproach in his sight.
- 33:43SPEAKER_00: Who has he done that to?
- 33:45SPEAKER_00: All those that he's reconciled.
- 33:46SPEAKER_00: Who has he reconciled?
- 33:48SPEAKER_00: 2 Corinthians 5.19, he has reconciled the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto him.
- 33:55SPEAKER_00: Well, why are they still doing that?
- 33:56SPEAKER_00: And how come we're on this side of the thing now?
- 33:58SPEAKER_00: Because you've believed it, you received it, and they haven't known it yet.
- 34:03SPEAKER_00: They haven't believed it, they haven't seen it.
- 34:05SPEAKER_00: And one of the reasons is because we presented an image of God that doesn't even look good.
- 34:13SPEAKER_00: Come, Jesus says.
- 34:15SPEAKER_00: Come.
- 34:15SPEAKER_00: If you're thirsty, come.
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: Don't change, just come.
- 34:23SPEAKER_00: Well, they need to quit doing that first.
- 34:25SPEAKER_00: That's the knowledge of good and evil.
- 34:28SPEAKER_00: There's a much higher knowledge that just says, come.
- 34:31SPEAKER_00: I've done it all.
- 34:32SPEAKER_00: I've borne the whole thing.
- 34:34SPEAKER_00: I'm not putting the burden on you to change.
- 34:36SPEAKER_00: I'm not putting a burden on you.
- 34:37SPEAKER_00: You need to change that first.
- 34:38SPEAKER_00: You need to quit thinking that first.
- 34:40SPEAKER_00: I'm not doing that.
- 34:40SPEAKER_00: Take my yoke upon you.
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: You'll learn how light this is.
- 34:48SPEAKER_00: Don't shout me down just because I'm preaching good.
- 34:53SPEAKER_00: He says to present you holy and blameless and beyond reproach in his sight.
- 35:04SPEAKER_00: That's his sight.
- 35:05SPEAKER_00: You know what's happening?
- 35:06SPEAKER_00: We're getting his sight.
- 35:08SPEAKER_00: We don't have any reproach to put on anybody.
- 35:10SPEAKER_00: We don't have to be any blame to put on anybody.
- 35:17SPEAKER_00: And I love that he says that he did this to make us holy.
- 35:21SPEAKER_00: We sing a lot of songs about how God is holy.
- 35:25SPEAKER_00: But every once in a while, please get this.
- 35:26SPEAKER_00: You have to know that he's made you holy so you don't have that separation mentality because that separation mentality will keep you playing in the knowledge of good and evil, where it'll say, Well, God can be that way, but I can't.
- 35:39SPEAKER_00: This is just the way I am.
- 35:41SPEAKER_00: It'll keep you in that cursed situation of sorrow and pain.
- 35:46SPEAKER_00: I got good news.
- 35:48SPEAKER_00: It's here.
- 35:49SPEAKER_00: It's free.
- 35:50SPEAKER_00: Come, receive it.
- 35:54SPEAKER_00: We are holy, blameless beyond reproach, just as sinless as God is, just as clean as God is, just as holy as God is, for it's all his holiness.
- 36:04SPEAKER_00: And finally, Hebrews chapter 9.
- 36:09SPEAKER_00: Verse 9 says that the Old Testament tabernacle, it was symbolic for the present time in which the gifts and the sacrifices were offered.
- 36:20SPEAKER_00: But it could not make him that performed the service perfect in regard to the conscience.
- 36:27SPEAKER_00: In other words, that whole thing, there again, that whole thing, that tabernacle, all the law that pertained to it, which was all simply an inflamed picture of the knowledge of good and evil, it could never, doing all the gifts and the sacrifices and all the things, and remember, see, and the gifts and sacrifices, that burden's upon us to provide it.
- 36:44SPEAKER_00: And he says, he says, he says, it could never make you perfect in regard to your conscience.
- 36:50SPEAKER_00: You could offer a sacrifice, and legally your sin was atoned for for a year, but when you walked away, you still knew you were a sinner.
- 36:56SPEAKER_00: You still felt separated.
- 36:58SPEAKER_00: You still felt so far below God in his ways.
- 37:03SPEAKER_00: You still had a remembrance that you were a sinner.
- 37:06SPEAKER_00: And because of that knowledge, you would live with the sorrow and the pain and the suffering.
- 37:10SPEAKER_00: It did not change that.
- 37:12SPEAKER_00: It was a picture of God dealing with the sin thing.
- 37:15SPEAKER_00: But when Jesus comes, so how much go down to verse 14, he says, But how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.
- 37:35SPEAKER_00: A clear conscience is a conscience free from the curse.
- 37:40SPEAKER_00: You cannot have shame when your conscience is clear.
- 37:43SPEAKER_00: You cannot have fear when the conscience is clear.
- 37:47SPEAKER_00: You cannot have anger or hate when the conscience is clear.
- 37:51SPEAKER_00: What does that?
- 37:52SPEAKER_00: The blood of Jesus did that to purge us from dead works.
- 37:55SPEAKER_00: What are the dead works?
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: The works of good and evil, the works of trying to be good, the works of trying to do this, the works of trying to attain our righteousness, of trying to be right, of working for what's right.
- 38:08SPEAKER_00: That was the dead works they were doing.
- 38:10SPEAKER_00: It wasn't sin.
- 38:11SPEAKER_00: These were the works.
- 38:14SPEAKER_00: The dead works that did not produce life.
- 38:17SPEAKER_00: So Jesus did the one work, and I love the what he did.
- 38:21SPEAKER_00: He did everything.
- 38:21SPEAKER_00: He covered every base with the blood, the sacrifices, the tap, everything he covered.
- 38:27SPEAKER_00: He says, I've taken all that out of the way.
- 38:29SPEAKER_00: There's no reason to be an enemy of God.
- 38:32SPEAKER_00: I've done it all.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: There's no reason to have an ugly conscience toward yourself or anybody else because I've made it all clean.
- 38:42SPEAKER_00: I have reconciled once and for all.
- 38:45SPEAKER_00: This is the beauty of the gospel.
- 38:47SPEAKER_00: Nobody has anything to be blamed for.
- 38:50SPEAKER_00: Drink of the water.
- 38:51SPEAKER_00: Just come and partake.
- 38:52SPEAKER_00: Come and eat the fruit of this tree of life.
- 38:55SPEAKER_00: It's love.
- 38:57SPEAKER_00: And nothing less than that.
- 38:59SPEAKER_00: You'll be loved without any conditions.
- 39:02SPEAKER_00: You'll never have any condemnation.
- 39:04SPEAKER_00: When you see God, you know this.
- 39:07SPEAKER_00: When you're experiencing God, when you're walking with God, when you're getting to know him like Jesus said, you know that he has no condemnation to give.
- 39:16SPEAKER_00: You know that he keeps you in perfect peace.
- 39:18SPEAKER_00: You know that he's not tangled up in these things that we get tangled up with with our knowledge of good and evil.
- 39:24SPEAKER_00: He's not all tangled up in the issues of 2020.
- 39:27SPEAKER_00: He stays exactly like he was in 2019 and every year before and after.
- 39:32SPEAKER_00: In him is consistency.
- 39:34SPEAKER_00: In him, there is life, there's peace, there's joy, and there's love received, therefore there's love to give.
- 39:40SPEAKER_00: Let's all stand up.
- 39:43SPEAKER_00: Don't you love God?
- 39:45SPEAKER_00: There is nothing bad to say about God.
- 39:48SPEAKER_00: You know, I've said once in a while, I said, I'm gonna I'm gonna talk about how good God is, but I promise you I will never make him look better than he really is.
- 40:00SPEAKER_00: Whatever I do, it'll be less than how good he really is.
- 40:04SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 40:07SPEAKER_00: I love getting out of that knowledge of good and evil.
- 40:12SPEAKER_00: The more I do, this is why I'm I talk about it the way I do, the more I do, the more power I have in life, the more faith I seem to have, the more peace, joy, the more love more than anything.
- 40:29SPEAKER_00: I love having more love in my heart.
- 40:33SPEAKER_00: I can remember when I had like zero.
- 40:38SPEAKER_00: And part of the reason was because I felt worthy of zero love from people, let alone a perfect God.
- 40:49SPEAKER_00: But he's good.
- 40:50SPEAKER_00: I've learned of him, haven't you?
- 40:52SPEAKER_00: I've learned of him.
- 40:55SPEAKER_00: I've learned that he'll love me.
- 40:56SPEAKER_00: I don't care if I do the most abominable thing according to the knowledge of good and evil, his love will stay the same, and he will still say, Come on, son, you're mine.
- 41:08SPEAKER_00: And I'll always have that open access, that door.
- 41:12SPEAKER_00: That's why there'll be no condemnation.
- 41:14SPEAKER_00: And even if I do an abominable thing, it's such a powerful thing because he says, because of what Jesus did, his blood, it has the power to purge our conscience.
- 41:26SPEAKER_00: In other words, sure.
- 41:32SPEAKER_00: I dare say, you know me, I'm so imperfect.
- 41:36SPEAKER_00: I blow, I don't, I don't do everything you're supposed to do according to the law.
- 41:40SPEAKER_00: There's too many of them.
- 41:42SPEAKER_00: I sin according to that.
- 41:44SPEAKER_00: I sin.
- 41:46SPEAKER_00: I fall short in things that I want to do better, that I don't like, that I do.
- 41:51SPEAKER_00: I don't like it.
- 41:55SPEAKER_00: But it's amazing that it still feels like I've never sinned.
- 42:00SPEAKER_00: It still feels like I'm perfectly clean.
- 42:05SPEAKER_00: And that clear conscience allows growth and change to happen.
- 42:10SPEAKER_00: We're getting better.
- 42:11SPEAKER_00: And if the church world gets better, we're the ones, I mean, this world does need love.
- 42:17SPEAKER_00: And this gospel, if we see it for what it really is, this gospel has brought it to us.
- 42:25SPEAKER_00: I pray for the church world that our eyes be open, that we would see the true hope of our calling and what is the real glory of this inheritance that we have.
- 42:36SPEAKER_00: Because when the church sees it, then the world will see the true manifestation of the sons of God and not a church world creating false images.
- 42:47SPEAKER_00: Father, I love you.
- 42:49SPEAKER_00: I thank you for your beauty.
- 42:50SPEAKER_00: You're altogether lovely.
- 42:52SPEAKER_00: You are good to one, you're good to all.
- 42:54SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Father, for removing all condemnation.
- 42:57SPEAKER_00: Thank you for lifting us above man's wisdom of only good and evil, bringing us into goodness, love, mercy, and faith.
- 43:08SPEAKER_00: We give you praise in Jesus' name who has saved us.
- 43:12SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 43:14SPEAKER_00: All your life you have been faithful.
