- 0:00Trending. Now what you need to know? Good morning, six o'clock of
- 0:06amita leave with your top three trenders. Yeah, this is a pretty bold
- 0:11statement coming from Ed Sheeran, who was still testifying in chord saying he will
- 0:15quit music. I found liable for the Thinking out Loud copyright lawsuit. If
- 0:20this happens, I'm done. I'm stopping. I find it really insulting to
- 0:24work my whole life as a singer songwriter and diminish it. He continues to
- 0:28deny that he copied the song. Again, I wish we could hear a
- 0:31little bit more in court as to the way this is going. I haven't
- 0:35read through the transcripts. I've got a few things going on, but ultimately,
- 0:39wow, you haven't read through the court transcript I know, I know,
- 0:43I've really been slacking this es. I'm just giving you of the highlights.
- 0:46But Gate of journalism done. Yes, If I found guilty, he
- 0:50could owe one hundred million dollars. I don't think I could live in a
- 0:54world where Ed Shearon just doesn't record music. I totally agree with you,
- 0:58but I also don't believe him. He's gonna go pout in the basement.
- 1:02Yeah, and write songs about that one hundred million that or there's gonna be
- 1:04juries. J is this to like sway them? Wait? Yeah, wait,
- 1:08I don't like hold up. I'm no more ed innocent and everything about
- 1:17this situation was just heartbreaking. And Alison Hooker opened up to a magazine yesterday
- 1:23about the loss of her husband Twitch in her first interview since his death.
- 1:26The l and DJ died by suicide in case you guys forgot back in December.
- 1:30He was forty years old. She said, no one had an inkling
- 1:34that he was at low. I remember just being completely shocked when I read
- 1:38that you saw him he was always just full of life, and that's what
- 1:41she said. He didn't want people to know. He wanted to be everybody's
- 1:42superman and protect her. We'd had random conversations all the time, and everything
- 1:48was about laughter. They used to joke in their house that everything was a
- 1:51choreograph dance. They were just, you know, full of life. His
- 1:53kids, everybody just in complete shock. He says, it's been or she
- 1:57says, it's been really hard because I can't understand what happened in the moment
- 2:00that he died. He brought us so much joy in the world deserves to
- 2:04know that he was just a beautiful person. So sad I know, Hey,
- 2:12on Saturday Night Live will not produce any new episodes for a while because
- 2:15for the first time in fifteen years, the Writer's Guild of America has gone
- 2:19on strike. So the show that was supposed to happen on Saturday with Pete
- 2:23Davidson as the host will not take place. And they're basically thinking with this
- 2:27Writer's Guild strike that it's probably not going to even finish out the season because
- 2:31they go on a hiatus in May through the summertime, so there's really only
- 2:36a couple of weeks left. But yeah, if you saw the protesters yesterday
- 2:39in La I mean there was a roblow was out there one to sikes.
- 2:44A lot of people had, you know, going to bat for these guys.
- 2:47So it'll be interesting to see how this all unfolds. Why did they
- 2:50go on strike every five years? Then it was fifteen years for this one,
- 2:53but yeah, right, I did. But that's okay, fifteen doesn't
- 2:59matter either way. They're looking for more money and then I guess what they
- 3:02wanted to do was have a quota. If I was reading this right to
- 3:06have so many people on the set, even if they're not a part of
- 3:08it, just because they wanted that many writers on there, and people are
- 3:12going, well, so you're paying more people money than the actual people doing
- 3:16the work. That makes no sense. Yeah, California logic. Kind of
- 3:20like a mob, that's what it is. You know, they could have
- 3:23more money by just doing what like Mark Wahlberg did and just moved to Vegas
- 3:27and there, all of a sudden, you double your salary without everything just
- 3:30works out better that a weird weatherwise, today it is going to be gorgeous.

- 4:57in which Caribbean island nation, Dominican Republic? That is incorrect, Amanda,
- 5:03is it Haiti or the Bahamas? Bahamas? That is incorrect? Really?
- 5:09Yeah? Okay? The Highland Games are a cultural tradition of what country is
- 5:15it? England? Ireland? Ireland, that's incorrect. Is it England or
- 5:20Scotland? Scotland? That is correct. Six white kangaroos are said to pull
- 5:29Santa slay in which country? Amanda? That's going to be austrail Ya.
- 5:32That is correct. Was it the kangaroos or was it the Have you ever
- 5:38heard that before? No, the kangaroos got me. Yeah, it's tied
- 5:42one to one. The flowers on the Saint John's wart are which color?
- 5:46Red? No? Pink white or yellow white? That is incorrect. Let's
- 5:59get saw the rainbow, Kelly, Yes, it's yellow all right? Who
- 6:02wrote to kill a mocking bird? Oh? I know this. I almost
- 6:08don't want to give you the chances. I know, I think I know
- 6:10this. Is it Stephen King? Carol Bird? That is going to be
- 6:15c That is correct, I know it is. And who is it?
- 6:21Harper Lee? Harper Lee. That is a big old win for you,
- 6:26Barb. But you were going to get twenty five bucks to go over to
- 6:28sickies and enjoy some deliciousness. Nice job, Barb, thank you. Yeah,
- 6:32let's get after it. Cantiness everteen is a character for it hungry games?
- 6:38That's correct? Point Oh, you get one and it just keeps going
- 6:46back in front. This is the craziest matchup every one is. It's just
- 6:50so exciting every single morning. Google, Hey, Google, whatever your device
- 7:00of the name is, telatively big nybe eight point seven, Wait, amandess
- 7:08juncture. Oh boy. Kevin Costner's wife just filed for divorce. They were
- 7:14married for eighteen years. It's unclear what led to the split is what insiders
- 7:17are saying, but it's pretty obvious because we all know. First of all,
- 7:21Christine cited irreconcilable differences. Kevin's rep yesterday said it was with great sadness
- 7:27that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in mister Costner having to
- 7:31participate in a dissolution of marriage action. We asked his family gets the privacy
- 7:39they deserve. And also they have three kids, twelve, fourteen, and
- 7:43fifteen. She is asking for joint custody of the kids. She's not asking
- 7:46for spousal support. Meanwhile, Kevin Costner was spotted the day before she filed,
- 7:50wearing his wedding ring as he cuddled with women in Vegas after she told
- 7:55him to quit Yellowstone because he worked too much. Instead, he decided he
- 7:59was going to take on a new Western project called Horizon, which he is
- 8:01set to direct, produce, starin, and the shooting schedule is two hundred
- 8:07and twenty days, so we do know why she decided. I was just
- 8:11going to ask you. So there's nothing like specific. I think it is,
- 8:15Hey, we want you. You have a twelve, fourteen and fifteen
- 8:18year old, We want you around you. You know. You know that
- 8:22when you marry a movie star, though, that's what you get. So
- 8:24this is what I don't understand. And this kind of goes with the Tom
- 8:26Brady all of that. You still are in a marriage that should be number
- 8:30one. And maybe there were side discussions with hey, I'm gonna do this
- 8:35run and that's gonna be it. So for Yellowstone, a part of me
- 8:37kind of understands maybe it was I'll do five seasons of this or whatever it
- 8:41may be. Once it runs its course. I'm done now. The fact
- 8:43that he's signing on for a completely different Western and is going to be gone
- 8:46this long. Yeah, but if I had three teenagers though, I mean,
- 8:50she's not complaining when she goes I do another Western, see, and
- 8:54I'm the opposite because mom over here is going these are times you're never going
- 8:58to get back. Your kids are active, probably doing a bunch of stuff.
- 9:01You need to be a dad and do that. If you want to
- 9:03be a movie star, first of all, you've been doing that, but
- 9:07you can also make some time, find some balance. Are you hating on
- 9:11cost her? Now? I love you, love him? I do,
- 9:15but I also think I don't know he's making the money. She doesn't have
- 9:18to work. She knew that when she married him eighteen years ago and had
- 9:22three kids with him. I don't know, but as you probably didn't think
- 9:26Yellowstone was going to be as successful as it is, So that's adding a
- 9:30whole nother layer. There's also the cuddlying women in Vegas. You're still married.
- 9:35No, that's a no. But he's so cuddly. She sounds crying.
- 9:41Blame him? I would, I mean you would, wouldn't you?
- 9:43They're just friends? I mean for a picture. Would You're just you're just
- 9:48put your hand, put that ring hand under your butt. No. And
- 9:52the Jonah's brothers have announced easy they are gonna kick things off August. Well,
- 9:58if they're gonna play in Paul on September first, Joe Jonas said,
- 10:01every city we're gonna play all of our albums. Yeah, every single night
- 10:07for you. How many albums do they have? Two? Five? It's
- 10:11five albums and one night. I started crying when I heard the announcement yesterday.
- 10:13It's okay. How many songs are on each album? Three? I'm
- 10:16sorry? Did you really start crying? I cheered up a bit. Yeah,
- 10:20Oh that's precious. I yeah, they're not that good. You love
- 10:24the Jonas brothers though I do love the Jonas bro like that's my like boy
- 10:28band when I was growing up. And then I saw him a few years
- 10:31ago and I couldn't speak for a week after the fact. I get it
- 10:33because at in Sync. I did cry when they were at the Fargodum that
- 10:35was my first concert, because they're good. Yeah. Oh I do like
- 10:41the Joe Brows. Did Joe Jonas run out of money? Is that?
- 10:43Why? Well, it's a limited tour, although I did see a bunch
- 10:48of people all of a sudden because they said they were gonna do one night
- 10:50only in New York and then they added another one. Oh I'm so upset.
- 10:54Two bad shows in one week. Stop don't. And Steven Tyler is
- 11:01firing back at the women suing him for allegedly sexually assaulting her fifty years ago.
- 11:07Do you remember when this story came out back in December, we found
- 11:11out that she was sixteen years old at the time. She is claiming that
- 11:16he ended up getting her pregnant at seventeen and then had her get an abortion.
- 11:22Really crazy claims. But he talked about some of this in his memoir
- 11:26and now she is saying I'm coming after you, and he said, you
- 11:28can't use that as a weapon, like, we gotta get to the facts
- 11:33on this, Like it shouldn't matter if you the book shouldn't matter, Like
- 11:39if this happened, you need to be held accountable for that. Well,
- 11:41the book does matter because when they write memoirs, they vet everybody that they
- 11:46talk about in the memoir and if it's true, they can write it.
- 11:48Basically, if it's not true, they can get sued. But now they
- 11:52can get sued if it's true as well. But what I'm saying is like
- 11:54it shouldn't He can't say it doesn't matter, right of course? Come on
- 12:00now, yeah, another guy that I like, what are we doing Guys
- 12:03like Steven Tyler to do I've always I really when he was out at we
- 12:07fas that was a great show. That was one of those moments you're just
- 12:13going, man, I mean, what a time to be alive. It
- 12:18rocks. Steven Tyler camp, Yes, it was fantastic. Turn negative.
- 12:22Steven Tyler started like that's what that's the point. I mean, same with
- 12:28Kevin Concert's like, as you want to like some of these guys. But
- 12:31I think the lesson for today is everyone's terrible. Wow, it's a pretty
- 12:37bold statement. On Wednesday, Happy be Wednesday, Big nty eight point seven,
- 12:41This weekend, Today's Variety, Big nty eight point seven. Hello,
- 12:54Well, hey guys. Hi Lauren, Lauren, I was getting a little
- 13:01nervous. I personally haven't spoken to you since you know, this whole Pike
- 13:05and Amanda in the Morning thing went down. Yeah, how are you feeling
- 13:07about that? Lauren? A lot of people I don't want to make anyone
- 13:13made listen. A lot of people are concerned that Lauren's being ripped out of
- 13:22Florida. Come back so I can do the silly little morning show. But
- 13:26I think we are both excited, are we not? Yeah, that my
- 13:31mind might change when winter comes from Pike. I feel like you just said
- 13:35you're coming with me, right, Lauren. Well, there was a good
- 13:37two weeks there where we weren't exactly sure, but I'm feeling pretty confident now
- 13:41that we will both semt you all next week. Lauren. I feel like
- 13:45I owe you the world. I have been very excited about this, and
- 13:48I think everybody, according to this whole social media thing, they're excited as
- 13:54well. And I guess thank you. I owe you a lot. You
- 13:58know, tonight we're having Winos women to Sanity, so we brought that back
- 14:01just for you. We're just gonna feed you all the wine that you want.
- 14:07I'll take you up on, Lauren. You know, Amanda did promise
- 14:09me free golf, which I think really for the whole family here. It's
- 14:13just a wind so you know, I'll be out of the house golfing all
- 14:16summer. Lauren can be at home by yourself. It was just wondering,
- 14:18Lauren, did you take up golf? Well, you were in Florida.
- 14:22I did not, So nothing's really changed over the past three years. Spike.
- 14:26You just basically do your own thing. That is not true. I
- 14:28come home and I do rub her feeds quite often. A lot of head
- 14:33scratches, back scrat you name it. It's been scratched, yeah by me?
- 14:37Okay, I got it. Well, Lauren, thank you. I'm
- 14:41glad you're coming with again. Whatever you need just put. You're a writer,
- 14:45you're list of demands. We will meet your needs. I promise you.
- 14:48I'll come up with a list for you. I'm just glad you're talking
- 14:50to me. Yea, and listen, I do want to clarify you know.
- 14:54I know a lot of women are listening going, oh my god,
- 14:56what a super man this pike is with the heads. I don't want anyone
- 15:01to feel bad. Obviously, I'm going above and beyond. So I don't
- 15:03think that your husband is doing any lack, then he should be okay.
- 15:07And that goes for new Nick too. I'm sure he's probably shaking hearing this
- 15:11conversation. Yeah, no, he is. Also, I think we can
- 15:13probably drop the new from Nick. I think I think we've out grown that,
- 15:16haven't we did? I give you my list of demands. He's no
- 15:18longer a new Nick. Was there a newer Nick? Or what's the situation?
- 15:24Nick? That's what we needed to discuss, you guys. I mean,
- 15:26if we're gonna start fresh, let's just start fresh. I can't do
- 15:30it. I don't tell there's a new Nick, a new new Nick.
- 15:33He's a new Nick, so sorry, can't nothing newer than this Nick.
- 15:39I love discovering new music. Literally listen all day for the contest. Perfect
- 15:46for listening all day? Will you Facebook? Listening all day at work?
- 15:50That's what I meant. Jonathan on with us right now. He is in
- 15:58the friend zone. Jonathan. We're going to try to get you out,
- 16:00because we're really good at getting people out. I mean, we've been decent
- 16:03lately. But Jonathan, you got your eye on Stephanie. Tell us about
- 16:07her? Yeah, well, you know, she's super cool and and we
- 16:12okay, so here's how we knew each other. Are our kids are our
- 16:17great friends? And who Yeah, they've knew each other for a while and
- 16:22uh um, you know we were stephaniely Aver. You know, it just
- 16:26kind of brought me back from my high school days and I a couple of
- 16:32bit of a spark there, you know. Interesting. Okay, So I
- 16:36am guessing you both are single or do you know if she's single or not.
- 16:40It makes me a little nervous that the kids are friends. Yeah,
- 16:44yeah, she's she seems Yeah, I think she's she's single. Interesting.
- 16:47So you guys chaperone prom and that's when you felt the spark. You thought
- 16:51like, maybe there's something more. Yeah, you know how it is.
- 16:55You know, there's a lot of love in the air, and everyone's all
- 16:57dressed up right, and it's thanks very romantic setting. I think, Yeah,
- 17:02he's looking good, she's looking good. They're staring a little bit too
- 17:04long into each other's eyes. They're listening to whatever Joda see or whatever music
- 17:08that's actually popular now that is hilarious. Okay, So what kind of vibe
- 17:14was she given that you were like, hey, I want to give this
- 17:15a shot. I don't know, she's just I don't know. Were you
- 17:18dancing and it just it was just I don't know. I just felt like
- 17:23it was super romantic, you know, I don't know, there was just
- 17:27something special about that evening. It was really nice. Were your kids there
- 17:33was anybody watching as this was going down? Or were they all too busy
- 17:36doing like prom after hours and you guys were over in the corner chaperoning nothing.
- 17:41No, no, no, they're doing you know the kids. You
- 17:44know, how does it prom? Everyone's I mean, it's a great time,
- 17:47but everyone's super, you know, on edge, and so now their
- 17:52their kids are doing their own things. Plus you know, let's just say
- 17:55kids in high school aren't exactly super in the hang out with their parents,
- 17:57you know, right, there's that interesting Remember when you were embarrassed for your
- 18:03classmates to see your parents. Well, and that's kind of what I'm wondering.
- 18:07So, if your kids are great friends, what are they going to
- 18:10think if this uh goes in the direction that you hush? Yeah, I
- 18:14mean, are they going to be mortified? You think? No? I
- 18:17mean I don't think so. I think they'd be okay with it. Um.
- 18:21You know, we're both legitimately single, and uh so, I don't
- 18:26see why they'd have a problem. He's definitely got the he's got the voice
- 18:29of a smitten individual for yes. All right, well you know the drill.
- 18:32You'll be quiet. Let's get Stephanie on the line and see, uh
- 18:34see what she's thinking. I hope she's feeling the vibe. Yeah, me
- 18:38too, I hope. So Hello, Hi, hey girl, Hey,
- 18:47hi, Hey, this is James and Amanda from Big nine eight point seven.
- 18:51By the way, how are you. Oh, I'm okay, I'm
- 18:53good. Well, we have some news for you. Okay, there's somebody
- 18:59that we know that has a crush on you. H good one, Okay,
- 19:04all right, good one. No, really, there is somebody who
- 19:08has got a thang for you. We would never kid about something like this.
- 19:11Oh my god. Okay, are you single? Oh? I am
- 19:18very single? Yeah? Oh aggressively single? What exactly does that mean?
- 19:23Yeah? Right, well I've just you know, I've been divorced for quite
- 19:30a while. And uh I I I don't really go on at all.
- 19:33So okay, so is there anybody that you think would have a crush on
- 19:40you? Is there anybody that when we say somebody's got a thang for you,
- 19:44it makes you perk up and go, oh, I hope it's this
- 19:45person. Um, look, I I don't I'm this is billy. You
- 19:51guys are done. You guys have to be doping because I don't know.
- 19:53I have I have no clue, I have no idea. Who could We're
- 19:56back on this. I know, I honestly somebody has a crush on you.
- 20:00We're not playing. This is not a joke. There is somebody who
- 20:03I think who you recently spent some time with, uh into the wee hours.
- 20:11Oh my god, wait he likes me. Who is it's Jonathan.
- 20:18It's Jonathan. Oh, it's Jonathan. Oh no, he's so great,
- 20:22sweet cheer. Okay, so our kids we just had the prom ar wants
- 20:26the palm and yeah, yes, yes, oh my gosh, yes,
- 20:30no, he's so he's so sweet and he yeah, he's great. He
- 20:34was so great with the kids and everything. Well, I need to tell
- 20:37you something. It's not Jonathan. Oh um, totally kidding. It's Jonathan.
- 20:42So you are super super smitten over this guy? Oh you guys?
- 20:48Yeah, I mean I didn't think that he had. I didn't think that
- 20:52he I felt something, but I didn't want to ask. It has been
- 20:55so long since I've dated anyone. Okay, I like I don't go on
- 21:00date but like, yeah, that night was that was just a really fun
- 21:03night. And yeah, I didn't I didn't know that he felt like that.
- 21:04I was gonna say, so, were you vibing, like are you
- 21:08feeling like maybe you would want to go on a date with him? Are
- 21:12you ready to cross that bridge? Or are you nervous about the kids?
- 21:15Where where your head? Where's you had to? You know, our kids
- 21:18have been friends for a long time, and like I it's for me.
- 21:22I think it's time I could I could be down. That would be a
- 21:29good My gosh, you guys, Well, we got one more thing to
- 21:33tell you. Jonathan has been listening to this whole conversation. What's up,
- 21:34Jonathan? Oh yeah, my fitement. That was Yeah, that was a
- 21:49lot of fun. I feel like there's something you're not telling us about last
- 21:53night, you guys. And I mean, I guess it was a good
- 21:56vibe. So are you guys gonna tell the kids? Are you guys just
- 22:00gonna go on a date first and then see where things go and then tell
- 22:03the kids? Or where are we at? I think we should tell the
- 22:06kids. They're old enough. Oh yeah, yeah, but you know,
- 22:10nothing nothing, We're not hiding anything. It was actually totally innocent. You
- 22:14know, it was very well I liked about it was old fashioned. There
- 22:15wasn't any you know, any like old fashioned by calling a radio station come
- 22:22on, no, no, no, I mean there was no you know,
