- 0:00Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events,
- 0:10defending biblical Christianity.
- 0:13No topic, off limits.
- 0:16And now, here's your host, David Firazzo.
- 0:20The enemy runs the same place, the four plays that were at play in Nazi Germany that are
- 0:26currently at play and underway in America.
- 0:29And those four plays are listed as contradict the truth, if the enemy can contradict the
- 0:33truth.
- 0:34If you can throw off the moral balance of society, but how do you propagate that?
- 0:39Well, the second play is control the news.
- 0:42If you can contradict the truth, like he did in the Garden of Eden, did God really say,
- 0:46and without truth, all hell breaks loose, he then can get his message out by controlling
- 0:50the news or narrative, like he did at the Tower of Babel.
- 0:52What was the Tower of Babel?
- 0:53Was one voice in defiance against God?
- 0:57The third play is always the result of controlling the news.
- 1:01It's bringing conflict to groups.
- 1:04That's why there's so much division.
- 1:06Blacks versus whites, rich versus poor, right versus left.
- 1:11In the midst of division, the enemy's so's confusion.
- 1:14The fourth play then is where he cleans up the spoils of war.
- 1:18If he can contradict the truth, if he can control the news, if he can bring conflict
- 1:22to groups, he, of course, has his target, convert to youth.
- 1:27Friends, fasten your seat, Vells.
- 1:29We're blessed to have Pastor Matthew Mayer with us today.
- 1:32And the book is called Discerning the Devil's Playbook, The Four Plays from Nazi Germany
- 1:38currently at play in America.
- 1:40So this is scratching me right where I had to.
- 1:43I've been beating this drum for a good decade saying there are parallels to what's
- 1:48happening in America and what happened in Nazi Germany.
- 1:51And I don't think the church is fully awake to this.
- 1:54So I want to bring in Matthew Mayer.
- 1:56He's been on the soccer field as a pro athlete, pro soccer player.
- 2:00He's also been in prison behind prison walls as a con.
- 2:05And now he's a pastor.
- 2:07He's an author speaker and we're excited to talk about this new book, Matthew.
- 2:12So good to see you.
- 2:13Thanks for your time today, brother.
- 2:15David, thank you so much for having me on.
- 2:17God bless you, your platform.
- 2:19And of course, your audience here.
- 2:21Well, praise God for you, your voice and your message.
- 2:24I'm sure you're reaching a lot of youth that I typically wouldn't reach.
- 2:27So it's, I'm excited that there are some young pastors out there that are preaching the
- 2:32whole council of God, standing on the truth and not shying away from the controversial
- 2:37issues.
- 2:38And before we get to your story and the book, of course, talk to us about your heart and
- 2:43where you perceive we're at.
- 2:45Obviously, you wrote a book about your concerns.
- 2:48Or at as a nation today, I believe we just witnessed the hand of God, his mercy upon
- 2:56our nation when we otherwise deserved judgment.
- 3:00So a presidential election going the Republican way, ultimately, the Christian should be
- 3:06aligning their views, their values, their voice with the party platform that is closest
- 3:12to the Bible.
- 3:14We call that a biblical worldview.
- 3:15And you know exactly what that entails, your entire platform is built upon that premise,
- 3:20getting Christians to see from a biblical worldview.
- 3:23So I believe we're in the midst of a window of grace, extremely valuable, but the church
- 3:29should not take her foot off the gas pedal.
- 3:32I believe we should accelerate.
- 3:34We are the pillar and the ground of truth according to Paul's epistle to Timothy.
- 3:39We must be the voice that defends and defines truth in the public square.
- 3:43So these are critical times.
- 3:46And I believe the world is only going to get darker, but what an opportunity for the
- 3:51church to shine brighter and speak louder about the things that are on the heart of our
- 3:57God.
- 3:58Amen, brother.
- 3:59And the church does need to speak up and we need to wake up before it's too late.
- 4:02I think a lot of people have used the word reprieve.
- 4:07Politics is not the final answer, the final solution, right?
- 4:10It's the gospel of Jesus Christ, getting people saved and getting people the truth so
- 4:14that they can be saved eternally.
- 4:16And then once we're saved, we have work to do.
- 4:18Well, we're still here.
- 4:19We're citizens of heaven, but we're also citizens in our context of America.
- 4:24So we have failed to be the Sultan light and I'm preaching to the choir there.
- 4:28One of the describing sentences about your book on the website is that you outlined the
- 4:34sinister strategies that Satan employs to soil the truth and so lies amongst people
- 4:42and nations.
- 4:43And Matthew, I know you've seen probably similar things that I have that it's unfortunate
- 4:48professing and I want to emphasize that word.
- 4:51Pastor friend of mine says so-called Christians, but professing Christians, some of them don't
- 4:56get it.
- 4:57They're not engaged in culture, they don't think they need to be Sultan light, they just
- 5:01need to be comfortable.
- 5:03Speak to that before we go and get a little bit more of your story and your background.
- 5:06Yeah, I love the question.
- 5:07I think I've said recently over and over, I'm in no position to question somebody's salvation,
- 5:13but based on some of the professing Christians and churches, their positions these days,
- 5:20I am in a position personally to question their sanctification, which means I don't think
- 5:26that they're biblically literate.
- 5:27I don't think they're reading the signs of the times.
- 5:29I don't think that they understand God's plan for man from Genesis to Revelation.
- 5:33You see a lot of professing Christians today sticking to Genesis, the Genesis of the
- 5:39Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, right?
- 5:41So they are stuck in the four books of the Bible that portray our Savior and our Lord,
- 5:45and that's great.
- 5:46But Jesus, as he is the expression of God himself, he's the same yesterday today and forever,
- 5:53which means we have to understand who God is from that holistic presentation.
- 5:58And if we understand that, then we understand judgment's coming, judgment begins in the
- 6:02house of God, and it is our responsibility to lead with the message of repentance.
- 6:07Repentance is not a one and done decision, David.
- 6:09Repentance is a lifestyle of obedience to God's word.
- 6:12So I think a lot of Christians and churches today have leaned left, and I say that in
- 6:21the sense that if humanity is left to its devices, it will naturally lean progressively.
- 6:27It will lean to the sinful proclivities that we are stuck in our body.
- 6:34So we must understand what God is doing in the midst of everything that's happening around
- 6:39us.
- 6:40And I think your voice and others are attempting to wake the church up before it's too
- 6:44late.
- 6:45Well, I spoke to Dr. George Barnard a month ago, and we were talking about some of the
- 6:49trends, some of the worldview surveys, some of where the church is at, and it is astounding.
- 6:54I think you mentioned biblical illiteracy.
- 6:57We've got to recognize the problem, acknowledge that it's true and that's something that has
- 7:01to be dealt with.
- 7:02And then we've got to start getting people saved that are already going to church, and
- 7:06that's sad that we have to say that.
- 7:09But okay, so by the way, I didn't mention landmark church or the pastor of landmark church,
- 7:14Ocean City, New Jersey, Matthew, how long have you been a pastor, and I know you've had
- 7:20a career as a soccer player, professional soccer, and then you're in prison.
- 7:25This sounds fascinating, but try to bullet point that for us, condense it for us a little
- 7:29bit.
- 7:30It sounds really interesting.
- 7:31Yeah, I'll give you a thin version of a very thick story, grew up in a strong Christian
- 7:35household on the youngest of four boys.
- 7:37My parents did a phenomenal job not just raising us in church, they raised us and trained
- 7:41us in Christ.
- 7:42At a certain point, along my journey, I went astray.
- 7:47I got a full scholarship to Temple University, excelled in that arena, was drafted to play
- 7:52professional soccer, and of course, it was in that world where I began to compromise
- 7:56that foundation of faith beneath my feet toward my ACL March 1st, 2009, six days later,
- 8:03unfortunately, and tragically and recklessly went out drinking and then drove, ended up
- 8:09re-rending another vehicle on March 7th, 2009, and that resulted in the at fault drunk driving
- 8:15fatality of a man named Hort Cat.
- 8:18So long story short, that obviously came with great consequences, not I can't express to
- 8:24you the weight of knowing that I was responsible for taking a man's life.
- 8:29However, it was in the midst of that vulnerability and that brokenness where the Lord got my
- 8:34undivided attention.
- 8:35At that point, stripped of everything that I prided myself in, my identity, my resume,
- 8:41my possessions, my status in community, and the Lord stripped me of all of that.
- 8:46I obviously was sentenced to prison.
- 8:49I stood before a judge on January 7th, 2010.
- 8:52At that particular point, my victim son extended me a hug of forgiveness in the courtroom.
- 8:59It's unbelievable.
- 9:00There's a video out there, David.
- 9:02I watch it frequently because I get to tell my story nationally and I get to show that
- 9:06clip.
- 9:07But just really for me encapsulates the gospel, I stood in the place of judgment, I deserved
- 9:12the consequences, nothing I could do on that date could get me out of it.
- 9:15And yet what happened?
- 9:16A son entered in and a son gave me what I did not deserve.
- 9:21And from that day forward, yes, I spent 55 months as an inmate of the state.
- 9:25I say physically incarcerated, but on that day, I was spiritually liberated.
- 9:29So prison for me became more or less a seminary.
- 9:33It became a time where God got my undivided attention, lit my heart on fire.
- 9:38I got back into the word of God.
- 9:40And of course, when I was released, I didn't know what I was doing.
- 9:43But the Lord kept opening doors for me to tell the story of his redemption on my life.
- 9:47I didn't deserve it, but I accepted it.
- 9:49A lot of people say, you don't deserve the voice you have today and I'm like, you're
- 9:52right.
- 9:53I don't deserve the voice.
- 9:54However, I don't have a voice.
- 9:55The voice has me and I can do nothing but speak the truth of what God did in my life.
- 10:01And I hope that translates into other people's lives.
- 10:03So that's a real skinny version of a very thick testimony.
- 10:06I appreciate you giving me the few minutes to share that with our audience here.
- 10:10Matthew, that's powerful.
- 10:11I got chills just listen to that, especially when he offered forgiveness and hugged you
- 10:15in the courtroom.
- 10:17My goodness.
- 10:18Great, great story.
- 10:19It's amazing.
- 10:20I know that has impacted a lot of people.
- 10:23So go to over to your website, truthovertrend.com, truthovertrend.
- 10:28And you've got Isaiah 55-11 as one of the key verses there.
- 10:32Share a little bit about why you came up with that.
- 10:34Yes, so 55-11 is the publishing company that has these books, one that we're going to
- 10:40touch on during this time.
- 10:42It's called Discerning the Devil's Playbook, but 55-11, right?
- 10:46This is God's Word.
- 10:47God's Word.
- 10:48God's voice does not return void when it goes out.
- 10:50It accomplishes exactly the reason God sent it.
- 10:53So I always thought that that particular verse was pivotal.
- 10:56When we speak God's Word.
- 10:58We might not see immediate impact, but we can trust God controls the consequences.
- 11:04So speak His Word, let the chips, if you will, fall where they may.
- 11:09And that is why there is no pressure on me.
- 11:11I'm not the Holy Spirit, especially as a pastor.
- 11:13I want that to worry about saving any of my congregation.
- 11:17That's what the Spirit of God does.
- 11:18I just have to release His Word, teach His people, and let Him do the rest.
- 11:24So let's go back now.
- 11:26By the way, again, friends, I want to send you to the website, truthovertrend.com, truthovertrend.com.
- 11:34You can get the book, Discerning the Devil's Playbook on Amazon, and just after your book
- 11:40came out, Matthew Mayor, there is an op-ed in the Washington, it's not the Washington
- 11:46Times, it's the higher ground, or it is the Washington Times, but the higher ground
- 11:52Times, kind of their connected, affiliated, right?
- 11:55Yeah.
- 11:56It's the title is Pastor Drauss Parallel between Nazi Germany and America today, points to
- 12:03rise in anti-Semitism.
- 12:06And one of the arguments that we've been trying to beat down is, we've been accused of
- 12:10being Christian nationalists as if patriotism in our fight for religious freedom is a bad
- 12:15thing, and the way America was founded was a bad thing, and so we've been fighting this,
- 12:21and that's a good part of what the article is about.
- 12:23I share a little bit more about that because I've had Jack Hibbs on the podcast when he
- 12:27was speaking, you know, I'm praying before Congress opened once, he got attacked, it was
- 12:33offensive, people called him Christian nationalists, and on and on and on, so speak to that
- 12:37for a moment, and we'll dive into the book.
- 12:38Yeah, so I've been writing a very short piece in the booklet about Christian nationalism.
- 12:45I even quote Jack Hibbs and the prayer that he prayed in the beginning of January of
- 12:5224, and I just talked about the backlash that occurred.
- 12:56It was interesting to see because based on their responses, you would have assumed that
- 13:01Pastor Jack Hibbs performed a satanic seance on the house floor, but no, he prayed in the
- 13:09name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and he called out to the God of the heavens and asked for
- 13:15his mercy and used terms like national sins, and people were in an uproar, so it's a term
- 13:20that is weaponized by the left.
- 13:21They take the word Christian and nationalist or nationalism, and they make it sound as
- 13:25if we're fascists, and they try to make the connection that we are closer to Nazism
- 13:30or Hitler than what I am presenting, and my argument, which is they have never been
- 13:36further different, right, Trump and the Republican Party, full of flaws, by the way, but Trump
- 13:44wanting smaller government.
- 13:46That's the opposite of fascism, Nazism and Hitler wanted huge government, government
- 13:51overreach in every sector of society, and that is closer to what the Democratic Party has
- 13:56a spouse for the past several years.
- 13:58So I wrote the booklet in response to the atrocious and horrific attacks from Hamas into Israel
- 14:05on October 7th, not only watching what happened in the Middle East, David, but watching the
- 14:11disciples of the age, come to age, in America, on college campuses, seeing people protest,
- 14:19having no idea what they were protesting, and realizing what they were chanting at the
- 14:23top of their lungs, and I recognized, oh my goodness, here's the spirit of anti-Semitism,
- 14:28but more than that, how have so many people been deceived?
- 14:31So I began to write in short form the booklets the result, I did not want it to be too long
- 14:36so that people wouldn't pick it up and get through it.
- 14:38I wanted to be short enough, but I wanted to be powerful enough as we trace the four
- 14:43place from Nazi Germany currently at play in America, and that is basically what led me
- 14:48to this particular spot.
- 14:51And we opened up the podcast today with a very provocative part of that video, and we're
- 14:55going to come right back with Matthew Mayer, contradict the truth, control the news, create
- 15:01conflict in groups, and convert the youth.
- 15:05And that is exactly what the globalists, the Marxists, the left, has been doing for
- 15:10many decades in America right back on World View Matters.
- 15:14Today's show is brought to you by Harbinger's Daily, world news, biblically understood,
- 15:20stay informed at harbingerstaley.com.
- 15:32My friends, our viewership on rumble is growing, praise God, because there may be times
- 15:36where we will be deleted or censored on another platform.
- 15:40So please follow us if you're on rumble, and also you can download the free app on your
- 15:45iPhone for freedom project media.
- 15:48Matthew Mayer's our guest today, and the book is called the devil's playbook, the four
- 15:54plays from Nazi Germany currently at play in America.
- 15:57Okay, Matthew, let's dive into this.
- 16:00We just really, we had an election that I'm thankful for the outcome.
- 16:04I don't think it, well, it could have been more convincing, but as convincing as it was,
- 16:09that was a really big accomplishment as because of what happened in 2020.
- 16:12And we don't need to go there, but talk about this because I've been trying to warn people
- 16:16what's happening in Europe or what happened in Nazi Germany.
- 16:21It doesn't stay in Europe because we're seeing a lot of the same threats and similar patterns
- 16:26today.
- 16:27We've nailed these four things about the truth, the news, conflict, division, and then
- 16:32converting the youth.
- 16:33And unfortunately, look at our public schools, they have done a good job, evil, but a good
- 16:38job going after the youth.
- 16:39So go wherever you'd like to go and open up a little bit more for us.
- 16:43Yes.
- 16:44So I've mentioned these four points before long ago, I was writing a sermon about Babylon,
- 16:50the spirit of Babylon.
- 16:51And it was Daniel one, and I saw this same strategy that was happening in America happening
- 16:55in Babylon.
- 16:56And they they sought to teach the language and literature of the caldians to the Hebrew
- 17:01boys.
- 17:02And I was like, well, look at that.
- 17:03And they were placed in a program for three years, and I'm like, interesting.
- 17:06We have similar timelines for our students in our universities and our educational systems.
- 17:14And I wrote that down.
- 17:15And then when October 7th happened, and I saw anti-Semitism happening, not only globally
- 17:19but in our country, and began to spell out those four plays.
- 17:23And I started with contradict the truth, because not just in the beginning, Genesis 3, the
- 17:28serpents attempt to get Adam and Eve to defy God, ultimately, contradicting the truth
- 17:36of God's commands, and the challenge for the Christian is to know God's truth so well
- 17:41that we are not deceived by any lies that are disguised from the pit of hell.
- 17:46And many believers today, because they are biblically illiterate, they don't know what
- 17:50God's word has said indeed, so they fall for the lie of the serpents question has God
- 17:56indeed said.
- 17:57So play number one, you can run it all the way through the word of God, contradicting
- 18:01the truth has always been the enemy's first attempt at throwing off the moral balance
- 18:06of any given society.
- 18:08And that is exactly where Hitler began his campaign.
- 18:11He understood that if he could co-op the church and get them to parrot and puppet his agenda,
- 18:18aka, in America, progressive Christianity, it's the state church of today, they're just
- 18:23parroting and puppeting the agenda of the enemy, Hitler knew he could decrystionize society,
- 18:30remove God's law, which is the highest law, and then he could insert his ways and his
- 18:35law.
- 18:36And I'm like, oh my goodness, this has happened, it's happening, and then, well, how do you
- 18:40get that type of message out there, David?
- 18:42Well, in Genesis 3, we see that this lie began to cause mankind to fall away and go astray.
- 18:50And then you see in Genesis 11, the Tower of Babel, which is the culmination of man trying
- 18:54to make himself a God, trying to de-throne God, making a name for himself.
- 18:59I'm going, oh my goodness, that's the first propaganda campaign that we see in the word
- 19:03of God.
- 19:04And then I recognized that was how Hitler was successful in Nazi Germany.
- 19:07He had a ministry of propaganda, and he was telling lies and spreading misinformation
- 19:13and people were so confused, they began to believe what it was the state was telling
- 19:18them.
- 19:19And then I realized, oh my goodness, especially from 2020 and on, how many things that
- 19:24we've been told by the, and I call on this, the Marxist mainstream media that have turned
- 19:28out to be lies, you know, and then I started to make all these connections.
- 19:33And then the third play, what's the result of controlling the news?
- 19:36Well, conflict to groups, division.
- 19:39That is why you are seeing blacks versus whites, rich versus poor, right versus left.
- 19:44It's complete pandemonium, it's an ideological civil war.
- 19:48And of course, that is exactly how Hitler rose to power in Nazi Germany.
- 19:53He took advantage of a society that was being thrown off.
- 19:58And then I looked at America, I'm going, oh my goodness, we are witnessing the exact
- 20:02same wave.
- 20:03And then that final play is where the enemy always cleans up the spoils of war, converting
- 20:09the youth.
- 20:10And I don't think we need to provide any color commentary.
- 20:12You already said it, how the Department of Education and our educational system in America
- 20:18has targeted the youth at an earlier age than ever before, sexual indoctrination, trans
- 20:24genderism, critical race theory, DEI, like all of these things.
- 20:29Instead of math, reading, writing, arithmetic, history, and not a secular revised version
- 20:35of history, and you are witnessing the next generation being taken captive.
- 20:41So I wanted to put that in a booklet, get it out to as many people as possible to equip
- 20:45them and ultimately get the church to see her role in responsibility in the midst of
- 20:51all of this.
- 20:52We are to be the voice of clarity, conviction, and compassion that speaks to all of these
- 20:58scenarios and provides that very clarity that is lacking in society.
- 21:03Amen.
- 21:04Big time, brother.
- 21:07The book is discerning the devil's playbook, and there's one line on the Amazon page.
- 21:12I love it.
- 21:13It says, through distortion and division, propaganda and indoctrination, the enemy seeks
- 21:20to bring disorder to God's creative order.
- 21:24We forget that God established order from creation to male and female, to marriage, family,
- 21:32civil government, and also that I want you to expand on this a little bit, Matthew.
- 21:38This battle will not be won by ballots or bullets, but by biblical boldness.
- 21:46We desperately need not only revival and repentance, but we need boldness in the church of America
- 21:53today.
- 21:54Because as you said, there are parallels here over in Nazi Germany, only about a third
- 21:58of the German pastors stood up or against Hitler.
- 22:02And Dietrich Bonhoffer famously was one of them who said silence in the face of evil
- 22:06is itself evil.
- 22:07So go ahead and talk about how even though we saw the results of this election and even
- 22:12though we were not going to see a civil war, we love the Second Amendment.
- 22:17We love to be able to defend ourselves, but this will be won by biblical boldness.
- 22:22Please expand on that, Matthew.
- 22:23Yeah.
- 22:24I love that quote.
- 22:25I use it often.
- 22:26I used it pre-election to remind our people, the church's responsibility, like John the
- 22:33Baptist in the wilderness, calling for repentance, but also paving the way for the Lord.
- 22:40He did that for Jesus' first coming.
- 22:43We have the divine privilege to do that before Jesus' second coming.
- 22:48It requires courage and boldness.
- 22:50While many pastors, and I call them imposter, have shirked that responsibility to be voices
- 22:57of courage.
- 22:58And I think a lot of people look for those voices.
- 23:02And it stiffens their spines, as Billy Graham once said, when one man stiffens his spine,
- 23:06his contagious and leads to the stiffening of other people's spines.
- 23:09So I reminded them, ballots at the ballot box is not the ultimate end.
- 23:17That is only the beginning.
- 23:19That is our responsibility.
- 23:20We exercise our right and duty to vote at the ballot box, but that ultimately isn't going
- 23:26to change a thing.
- 23:27It's just going to be a transfer of power.
- 23:29And ultimately, if hearts don't change, nothing changes.
- 23:33This war that we are in is also not going to be won by bullets, right?
- 23:37It's not a war in the flesh.
- 23:39Paul would write, the war that we are engaged in is not wrestling with flesh and blood.
- 23:44It's wrestling with principalities and powers, the rulers of the dark darkness, the spiritual
- 23:49hosts of wickedness, and then he would also write, hey, we're walking in the flesh, we're
- 23:53living in the flesh, but we're not warring according to the flesh.
- 23:57For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighting God for pulling down strong
- 24:01holes, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge
- 24:05of God bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ and being ready
- 24:09to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
- 24:14That line is often not quoted with those verses, but the point is when we are obedient
- 24:18to the word of God, there is a courage within us that rises up and it causes us to speak
- 24:25God's truth regardless of the consequences.
- 24:27So let's take some Old Testament examples, whether the music of the media is sounding
- 24:32and everyone's bowing down to it, we like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
- 24:37We stay standing and we understand there are consequences for staying standing.
- 24:44How about like Daniel, when laws change, decrees come out from a godless government saying
- 24:49that you can't bring Jesus into the public square, you can't pray in that public space
- 24:54or you can't do something Christianity would demand, well, you weigh in the balance, the
- 25:02consequences, you might lose your job, you might be labeled a sexist, a racist, a bigot,
- 25:07but you know what?
- 25:08I'm going to stand for that name, the name above all names.
- 25:10And like Daniel, he ended up in the lion's den, but here's what our God does.
- 25:14He either shuts the jaws of lions or he, in his timing, will shut the jaws of those
- 25:21that are lying.
- 25:22Right?
- 25:23Truth will eventually prevail.
- 25:24So boldness wins the day.
- 25:27So I'm going to be challenging my church here in Ocean City, New Jersey, not only coming
- 25:32up, I'm doing a sermon, what is the church's role and responsibility post election?
- 25:36What now is the question I want to answer.
- 25:39So that's in a nutshell, not ballots, though we vote, not bullets, it's not physical,
- 25:46but boldness, it's holy spiritual.
- 25:49We forget the power of God's word.
- 25:51We often forget the spiritual dimension that's driving everything behind the scenes,
- 25:55so to speak.
- 25:56And I'm glad you brought that up.
- 25:57We are in this world, but not of this world.
- 26:00And sometimes we're too attached to the physical, to worldly things.
- 26:04Before we let you go, Matthew, a month ago, you did a sermon at Cornerstone Chapel,
- 26:09phenomenal church, Gary Hammrich, an amazing man of God, truly a black, real, regiment
- 26:15pastor.
- 26:16And you talked about discerning the devil's playbook.
- 26:18That's fascinating to me.
- 26:19He's amazing.
- 26:20He's a great platform for you.
- 26:21Tell us in a minute just how that came about, and then we'll have to wrap this up.
- 26:25Yes, I've been in contact with Pastor Gary for the past six years, ultimately he invited
- 26:31me to speak in his church in 2018, I've been returning there either a couple of times
- 26:36a year, one time a year, so we've developed a relationship.
- 26:38He actually sits on my pastor's advisory board at my church.
- 26:43He's one of three pastors that helps shape decisions based on our governance model, which
- 26:48is a plurality of eldership.
- 26:49He's been a great mentor to me, a great spiritual influence to me, and I'm honored to always
- 26:55go and visit the Cornerstone Chapel community.
- 26:57So that sermon, based on what we're talking about, our viewers can probably check out
- 27:01that sermon.
- 27:02It's a fuller version of the booklet, as I'm preaching and teaching the church to wake
- 27:07up before it's too late.
- 27:09Go to Cornerstone Chapel friends on YouTube, and you can pull that up just a month ago,
- 27:14discerning the devil's playbook, Matthew Mayer.
- 27:17I just really appreciate the message, your voice, it's so great to learn more about
- 27:22you.
- 27:23You have a powerful story.
- 27:24God is using you in a powerful way, and I pray that he will enlarge your territory,
- 27:28brother.
- 27:29Thanks for your time today.
- 27:30We really appreciate it.
- 27:32God bless you, David.
- 27:33God bless your audience.
