- 0:07Speaker 2: is it lies the Woody Show.
- 0:19Speaker 3: I'm wait, it's the Woody Show.
- 0:26Speaker 4: Insensitivity Training.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Class is now in session.
- 0:44Speaker 5: A good morning everybody. I'll tell you it's Wednesday. It
- 0:49Speaker 5: is November the twelfth, twenty twenty five. Hello and welcome.
- 0:53Speaker 5: We are the Woody Show.
- 0:54Speaker 3: I'm morning.
- 0:55Speaker 5: That's great, gory, Hey Menace, good morning to you. Good morning,
- 0:58Speaker 5: Woody's Gita grad. Yeah, we got to see that. Sammy
- 1:02Speaker 5: is here. I spy with my little I Morgan. Right,
- 1:06Speaker 5: you made a mistake. She was posting something the other
- 1:09Speaker 5: day about roast me, which I.
- 1:13Speaker 6: Was in a good mood that day.
- 1:15Speaker 7: I didn't want to stay that.
- 1:16Speaker 5: Way, right, Yeah, but that's what I'm saying. Okay, so
- 1:18Speaker 5: roast me, give me, give me your best shot.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:21Speaker 5: Morgan is not a person who's cut out for this.
- 1:23Speaker 8: So my, I guess I've gotten better because you're not.
- 1:27Speaker 6: Yeah, good you guys don't.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Actually I think, yeah, you've gotten stronger from the I
- 1:33Speaker 3: didn't know if this is like some kind of.
- 1:34Speaker 5: Like uh like masochistic kind of like you were setting
- 1:39Speaker 5: yourself up for for pain, for hurt feelings.
- 1:43Speaker 7: I think you have gotten better because first of all,
- 1:45Speaker 7: why would you put that on?
- 1:46Speaker 5: If you That was my question. Yeah, because she used
- 1:49Speaker 5: to be very sensitive when people would like text in
- 1:51Speaker 5: with stuff, or there would be a comment.
- 1:53Speaker 3: On, you know, one of the videos on our you know,
- 1:55Speaker 3: Instagram or YouTuber she's too hot. She would she would she.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Would get upset about it. So I got like, oh,
- 2:01Speaker 5: what's going on there? Are you cutting the feel?
- 2:04Speaker 6: Some still gets me, but no, I feel like I've
- 2:06Speaker 6: really changed.
- 2:07Speaker 5: A good all right, good?
- 2:10Speaker 7: Yeah, the one who knows That's what I thought.
- 2:12Speaker 3: So commis did you get for the roast?
- 2:14Speaker 8: They were all about my nose, about not having an ass.
- 2:20Speaker 3: The thing about the usual stuff.
- 2:22Speaker 7: But the thing about the nose is that would have
- 2:24Speaker 7: never come up if you didn't bring it up. Otherwise
- 2:26Speaker 7: you're perfectly the nose is self imposed, exactly self imposed
- 2:30Speaker 7: nose issues.
- 2:31Speaker 5: And that is true.
- 2:32Speaker 8: But it's like when you point something out and then
- 2:33Speaker 8: people notice, it's like, I'm not lying.
- 2:36Speaker 7: Right, But if you weren't, like I'm getting a nose job,
- 2:39Speaker 7: no one would have.
- 2:39Speaker 5: She wants a nose job. That's why she's doing these
- 2:42Speaker 5: things like the Craigslist job search stuff.
- 2:44Speaker 9: What's our total on that?
- 2:45Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 2:45Speaker 3: Yeah, what are we? What's our number?
- 2:46Speaker 2: Oh?
- 2:46Speaker 6: Actually, let me pull it up right now. I have
- 2:48Speaker 6: a separate savings account. Oh yeah, okay, responsible.
- 2:51Speaker 5: U von our video producer. We got dumb ass Tyler,
- 2:54Speaker 5: we got bored, we got Mengji. Phones are open at
- 2:57Speaker 5: eight seven seven forty four.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Woodie.
- 2:59Speaker 3: You can hit us up with the text over to
- 3:01Speaker 3: two to nine eight seven.
- 3:03Speaker 6: Okay, I have a thousand, five hundred and one.
- 3:05Speaker 5: Okay, nice, you've you've earned more than that?
- 3:10Speaker 6: Yeah, something out of it, damn it. Sorry, I got
- 3:14Speaker 6: to pay for bills and so yeah, bills.
- 3:19Speaker 5: Find other ways. What did you do with the bonus
- 3:21Speaker 5: I gave you recently? But I figured that was going
- 3:24Speaker 5: right toward the nose.
- 3:25Speaker 6: Oh no, yeah, that was a good chunk of my rent.
- 3:28Speaker 6: So thank you. Thanks a big deal.
- 3:31Speaker 5: Well here's here's something new. Because we're always what will
- 3:34Speaker 5: Morgan do for money? Or you know, you know, what
- 3:37Speaker 5: do you do and how much do you make? We've
- 3:38Speaker 5: done those segments on the show before, and this is
- 3:41Speaker 5: for the little boo boo crowd. These are the list
- 3:43Speaker 5: of the high paying blue collar jobs. Okay, because Men
- 3:46Speaker 5: was saying that, you know, it's a bunch of guys
- 3:48Speaker 5: on the on the blue, on the blue labor front
- 3:51Speaker 5: that were rocking, rocking the little boo boos.
- 3:53Speaker 3: You exactly what I said.
- 3:55Speaker 9: Have lunch pails. Yeah, everybody's got them. You could try
- 3:57Speaker 9: to revise it, you actually need it. Okay, that's a lot.
- 4:00Speaker 9: In the shortness, he didn't know what blue collar means.
- 4:02Speaker 5: Yeah, we were all here when he said. Whether he
- 4:04Speaker 5: knew what it meant or not, that's what he said.
- 4:05Speaker 5: All right, So here we go HIGs paying blue collar jobs.
- 4:09Speaker 5: Elevator and escalator technician. Now that is something here about
- 4:12Speaker 5: that I would have never thought about.
- 4:13Speaker 9: It's yeah, way into the six figures.
- 4:15Speaker 5: The median salary for workers who install and maintain elevators,
- 4:18Speaker 5: escalators and moving sidewalks and airports one hundred and six
- 4:22Speaker 5: thousand dollars.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Nice.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Now do they fix them just enough so they were right?
- 4:28Speaker 3: Because they're always broken.
- 4:30Speaker 5: The top ten of earners bring home about one hundred
- 4:33Speaker 5: and fifty thousand, and the job typically just requires a
- 4:36Speaker 5: high school diploma.
- 4:37Speaker 3: I mean if that like smart?
- 4:38Speaker 5: Like who cares about a high school diploma?
- 4:40Speaker 10: Really?
- 4:41Speaker 3: I mean what alge? Yeah?
- 4:43Speaker 10: What is that? Improving?
- 4:45Speaker 9: Uh?
- 4:45Speaker 3: Highs?
- 4:46Speaker 5: Paying blue collar job electrical power line installer and repair. Hell,
- 4:51Speaker 5: so line workers. They handle a service on you know,
- 4:53Speaker 5: the power grid. You know, only need like a high
- 4:56Speaker 5: school diploma for that job. Growth is strong. It is
- 4:59Speaker 5: a physically dem ending job, you guys. So you got
- 5:01Speaker 5: to climb poles, you gotta navigate the bucket trucks. But
- 5:05Speaker 5: the median salary is ninety two thousand, five hundred bucks.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I do it. Friend that did that, he got electrocuted,
- 5:12Speaker 3: like died, No, okay, never the same. He lived, glored.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Now he lived and then checked this out that he
- 5:18Speaker 3: went camping with his family and some generator exploded. Then
- 5:22Speaker 3: he got on fire. So now he's like destination and
- 5:27Speaker 3: oh speaking about donating, I donate a ton of money
- 5:31Speaker 3: to is GoFundMe. Never thank you, he'll have another one.
- 5:35Speaker 3: He's dead to me, hopefully he's dead now.
- 5:37Speaker 5: For these election, electrical power line installers and repair people
- 5:41Speaker 5: the top ten percent of earners in that field one
- 5:44Speaker 5: hundred and twenty six thousand dollars.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Dude.
- 5:46Speaker 9: I always think it'd be fun, like after a hurricane
- 5:48Speaker 9: just to go to and hang out in Florida for
- 5:49Speaker 9: two three weeks.
- 5:50Speaker 5: Yeah, that'd be fun. How did you get his stay
- 5:52Speaker 5: in hotels?
- 5:52Speaker 2: Oh?
- 5:53Speaker 5: Yeah, highs paying blue collar jobs. Number three on the
- 5:56Speaker 5: list Aircraft Avionics, equipment mechanic and technic, so these workers
- 6:02Speaker 5: keep air travel safe. The job generally requires some post
- 6:05Speaker 5: secondary training, but the median salary is seventy nine thousand.
- 6:09Speaker 5: The top ten earners in that field bring in one
- 6:12Speaker 5: hundred and twenty thousand.
- 6:13Speaker 7: I don't have what it takes.
- 6:14Speaker 5: Railroad. I've been working on the railroad right road. The
- 6:19Speaker 5: job requires a high school diploma on the job. Training
- 6:21Speaker 5: comes to the median salary of seventy six thousand dollars.
- 6:24Speaker 5: Top ten earners can make one hundred thousand. Stationary engineer
- 6:29Speaker 5: and boiler operator. All right, so you maintain heating, air conditioning,
- 6:34Speaker 5: and power systems. Median salary is seventy five thousand, up
- 6:38Speaker 5: to one hundred and twenty one thousand for the top
- 6:40Speaker 5: ten percent of earners. Generally requires a high school diploma
- 6:44Speaker 5: off in like like an apprenticeship. You got to do that,
- 6:46Speaker 5: I thinks is usually paid though. Number six on the
- 6:49Speaker 5: highest paid blue collar job list Industrial machinery mechanics. So
- 6:54Speaker 5: these people keep factories running smooth. They need a high
- 6:57Speaker 5: school diploma and apprenticeship. The job comes to the median
- 7:00Speaker 5: salary of sixty three thousand dollars and the top ten
- 7:04Speaker 5: percent make eighty six thousand dollars.
- 7:06Speaker 10: I always wondered about that. You see those videos where
- 7:08Speaker 10: they have lasers cutting like marble or countertops. What if
- 7:13Speaker 10: that machine breaks, you got to call in somebody who's crazy.
- 7:16Speaker 7: Specialized laser expert.
- 7:18Speaker 5: Yeah, number seven. I thought this would be higher on
- 7:21Speaker 5: the list. Plumber, pipefitter, steamfitter.
- 7:23Speaker 10: I thought plumber would be here one.
- 7:25Speaker 5: Yeah, you hear about plumbers and electricians.
- 7:26Speaker 11: Yeah, it depends like I have a friend who's a
- 7:28Speaker 11: commercial plumber, and I think they might make more.
- 7:31Speaker 5: Okay, so median salary for plumber, pipefitter, steamfitter who install
- 7:36Speaker 5: and repair systems, you know, move water, gas chemicals in
- 7:39Speaker 5: the homes and businesses sixty three thousand, which that seems low,
- 7:44Speaker 5: and top ten percent earning one hundred and five thousand
- 7:47Speaker 5: dollars cooking. Here you go, menis you're on your list
- 7:50Speaker 5: for your birthday month? You wanted to stand on top
- 7:53Speaker 5: of a wind turbine. Yes, a wind turbine technician, which
- 7:56Speaker 5: we had a couple reach out to us. Did you
- 7:58Speaker 5: ever did.
- 7:59Speaker 3: I had a some conversation with them and due to
- 8:03Speaker 3: insurance purposes, yeah, they have like a workaround. But what
- 8:07Speaker 3: about a waiver? Yeah, I don't know if they would
- 8:11Speaker 3: sign off on that.
- 8:12Speaker 7: Blood.
- 8:14Speaker 5: I don't understand like why they would not want to
- 8:16Speaker 5: do a waiver because it literally releases you from all
- 8:18Speaker 5: the liability.
- 8:19Speaker 9: Well you always hear about it, I say that, but yeah,
- 8:22Speaker 9: there's still they don't want to do for what.
- 8:25Speaker 5: Now, this is not a job for you, know, everybody
- 8:27Speaker 5: got a fear of heights. Maybe not for you, but
- 8:30Speaker 5: they're often high above remote landscapes. But the median salary
- 8:33Speaker 5: is sixty three thousand, top ten percent bringing in eighty
- 8:38Speaker 5: eight thousand.
- 8:39Speaker 10: It would have to be eighty eight thousand per climb.
- 8:42Speaker 5: Number nine electrician so high school diploma paid internship median
- 8:48Speaker 5: salary is sixty two thousand, top ten percent of earners
- 8:51Speaker 5: one hundred and six thousand, and number ten on the
- 8:55Speaker 5: highs paid blue collar jobs is a solar photo vault
- 9:00Speaker 5: vultaic voltaic installer. Okay, so okay, now let's do you
- 9:07Speaker 5: install solar panels?
- 9:08Speaker 3: Got it?
- 9:09Speaker 5: So? How about solar panel installer. I've not heard of
- 9:12Speaker 5: that of that word before, have you. Yeah, I've heard
- 9:16Speaker 5: the word, yeah, jeeze, I don't know anyway, high school diploma,
- 9:22Speaker 5: median salaries, fifty two thousand, top ten percent of earners,
- 9:26Speaker 5: eighty thousand dollars.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Anything on that list sound appealing.
- 9:29Speaker 5: It's Morgan nothing, not even like elevator technicians.
- 9:33Speaker 8: I'm more likely to go Greg's rout and just marry
- 9:36Speaker 8: Mary Mary hot day always.
- 9:39Speaker 10: But in the meantime, you got to.
- 9:41Speaker 6: Marry a lot, just marry anything.
- 9:45Speaker 10: Second girl.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Yeah, you can send your applications in on that Yeah.
- 9:48Speaker 6: Starting little high labor.
- 9:50Speaker 5: We'll take a quick break. Menas has the world of
- 9:53Speaker 5: entertainment to tell us about. We'll have the birthdays, the
- 9:55Speaker 5: porn of birthday. Also on the show for you this morning,
- 9:58Speaker 5: dumbass contest, Craigslist price is right, We've got some of
- 10:02Speaker 5: the trending news headlines. And we're gonna talk about paranoid parents,
- 10:07Speaker 5: because you know we were talking about on Halloween. Gina
- 10:10Speaker 5: was mentioning how her mom took her in to get
- 10:13Speaker 5: her candy X raid friend's mom. But yeah, friend's mom
- 10:15Speaker 5: would take them in to get the candy X and
- 10:17Speaker 5: sotus all up in their van. There are always those
- 10:19Speaker 5: paranoid parents out there don't let their kids do or
- 10:23Speaker 5: experience really anything. Do you know one of those? Or
- 10:27Speaker 5: are you one of those? Did you have one of those?
- 10:30Speaker 5: We'll get into that coming up a little bit later
- 10:32Speaker 5: here on The Woody Show Again. Phones are open at
- 10:34Speaker 5: eight seven seven forty four. Woody, send us a text

- 11:22Speaker 3: Woody Show podcast.
- 11:23Speaker 7: This is.
- 11:27Speaker 5: A right welcome back everybody. Yeah, it is Wednesday. We
- 11:31Speaker 5: are the Woodie Show. And today is National French Dip Day. Yeah,
- 11:37Speaker 5: November twelfth, everybody knows November twelve. It's just to be
- 11:40Speaker 5: associated National French Dip Day.
- 11:43Speaker 2: And I need it.
- 11:43Speaker 5: Today is also National Pizza with the Works, except Anchovy's Day.
- 11:50Speaker 2: I love it.
- 11:51Speaker 5: Yeah, anchovies not great. Yeah, it's a World Pneumonia Day.
- 11:57Speaker 5: It is Chicken Soup for the Soul Day, and it's
- 11:59Speaker 5: National Happy Hour Day. Now, some people would say that
- 12:02Speaker 5: The Woodie Show is happy Hour on the radio.
- 12:05Speaker 7: I like that.
- 12:06Speaker 5: Well, we didn't come up with that. That was actually
- 12:08Speaker 5: a listener. We asked the listeners. We were tasked by
- 12:10Speaker 5: the company, like, how would you describe your show. I'm like,
- 12:12Speaker 5: I don't know, Like, ask the people who listen to it.
- 12:14Speaker 5: So we open up the falls and the text and everything,
- 12:16Speaker 5: and then that was some of the stuff that came through.
- 12:18Speaker 3: And that was one.
- 12:19Speaker 5: It's just just it's happy hour on the radio. I
- 12:21Speaker 5: like it. It's National Happy Hour Day. We got the birthdays,
- 12:24Speaker 5: we got the porn on Birthday. Coming up here in
- 12:26Speaker 5: a moment, but first minutes, what's happening in the world
- 12:28Speaker 5: of entertainment now?
- 12:29Speaker 3: Greg, you love magic? Do you like the Now You
- 12:32Speaker 3: See Me? Now You Don't movies? I saw the first one.
- 12:35Speaker 3: I haven't seen the sequels, Like, yeah, I like both
- 12:38Speaker 3: of them, and the third one comes out this Friday,
- 12:41Speaker 3: so you can go check it out now. I know
- 12:43Speaker 3: we talk a lot of smack on these popcorn buckets
- 12:45Speaker 3: and how much they cost, and they're super cheap and lame,
- 12:48Speaker 3: but I kind of like the popcorn bucket for this movie.
- 12:52Speaker 3: It's a magic trick, Greg. Yeah, so you like you
- 12:56Speaker 3: open it sideways and the popcorn disappears. It's pretty cool,
- 13:00Speaker 3: is pretty neat. I didn't look up the price, but
- 13:05Speaker 3: I saw the popcorn bucket. I'm like, you know what,
- 13:07Speaker 3: that'd be kind of fun. You can little fun. You
- 13:10Speaker 3: can trick little kids with them, because that's.
- 13:12Speaker 10: Fun tricking little kids WHOA yes, I would living is
- 13:17Speaker 10: out of that trick, Greg. That is really it's.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Just basically got a false wall.
- 13:23Speaker 5: Yeah, but it's super cool, Okay, son.
- 13:27Speaker 10: If this popcorn girl can do it, I could do it.
- 13:29Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 13:29Speaker 5: There are two types of people, the people who like
- 13:32Speaker 5: magic and want to keep things a secret and the
- 13:34Speaker 5: other people who are like me, like I'm.
- 13:35Speaker 3: A spoiler guy.
- 13:36Speaker 7: So I got it.
- 13:37Speaker 5: Oh that's a cool trick. I want to know how
- 13:39Speaker 5: it's done. I think a lot of magic has just
- 13:42Speaker 5: been ruined, like a lot of things, by social media.
- 13:44Speaker 3: I've seen some really.
- 13:45Speaker 5: Cool tricks that these dudes are doing on social media,
- 13:49Speaker 5: like these you know guys, and you're watching, got a
- 13:52Speaker 5: camera right on this guy and he's doing the whole thing,
- 13:54Speaker 5: you know, like those shaker cups to the bartenders use,
- 13:57Speaker 5: Oh yeah yeah, And all of a sudden there was
- 13:59Speaker 5: like a red ball under there and then he picks
- 14:01Speaker 5: it up. It's a full line, but he's doing this.
- 14:03Speaker 5: It's all like super quick slide of hand. But man,
- 14:06Speaker 5: everybody's like breaking down every little move. Watch it this
- 14:09Speaker 5: particular moment and you'll see exactly. It really kind of
- 14:12Speaker 5: ruins the whole thing. But I like it because you
- 14:15Speaker 5: get to see how these different things are done.
- 14:17Speaker 10: Oh it's done.
- 14:18Speaker 9: This playcord bucket doesn't need much explanation.
- 14:20Speaker 3: It really does.
- 14:22Speaker 5: But I know Greg loves yeah quote magic.
- 14:25Speaker 10: You can see how they do it in two seconds,
- 14:27Speaker 10: but it's it looks neat.
- 14:28Speaker 3: I think I need one.
- 14:29Speaker 5: I think we need it'd be cool to have your
- 14:32Speaker 5: next wine check.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Outcorn now you see it now you don't. All right,
- 14:39Speaker 3: speaking about movies now, Apparently and allegedly the PR team
- 14:43Speaker 3: handling the the PR for the new movie that Christy,
- 14:48Speaker 3: that Cindy Sweeney is in. Now, that movie actually bombed
- 14:51Speaker 3: in the theaters because it didn't make a lot of money.
- 14:54Speaker 3: But apparently the PR team is reaching out to all
- 14:58Speaker 3: these entertainment websites to say, hey, can you please change
- 15:02Speaker 3: your titles and say, hey, this this movie didn't bomb.
- 15:05Speaker 3: It actually got critically acclaimed and it got really good
- 15:08Speaker 3: reviews by critics, both things true.
- 15:11Speaker 5: They should do for these kind of things, Like all right,
- 15:13Speaker 5: so the critics and the audience seemed to hate it,
- 15:15Speaker 5: do you think it sucks as bad as they say
- 15:17Speaker 5: it does? Check it out. It's on HBO like kind
- 15:21Speaker 5: of challenge people.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Now, the thing is, it is like people just didn't
- 15:26Speaker 3: go to go see it. Right now, Do I think
- 15:29Speaker 3: this is a actual genius move by the PR team
- 15:32Speaker 3: or not a genius move? Because these alleged leaked emails
- 15:37Speaker 3: to all these websites breaks down like, oh how much
- 15:41Speaker 3: everybody loved it? Now they're all these leaked emails are
- 15:45Speaker 3: getting shared online, right, and now you get to see
- 15:48Speaker 3: like all how people loved it, and it's like full breakdown.
- 15:52Speaker 3: So it's just just like the PR team mind tricking
- 15:54Speaker 3: everybody to actually get good PR's because okay, just wait,
- 16:01Speaker 3: just wait. So if these entertainment websites said, okay, you
- 16:04Speaker 3: know what, I will change the title, then you would
- 16:05Speaker 3: never even hear about it. But now these leaked emails
- 16:08Speaker 3: are floating around everywhere and they're all positive.
- 16:12Speaker 6: But it's not going to get to talk about it.
- 16:15Speaker 3: That's what I was thinking too, Like is that going
- 16:16Speaker 3: to get anybody to go?
- 16:17Speaker 8: I want to see it, and I still haven't gone,
- 16:19Speaker 8: and I can only imagine, like Sydney Sweeney's real fans,
- 16:22Speaker 8: which are men, they're not going to go to this
- 16:24Speaker 8: movie about this lesbian boxer like no offense.
- 16:27Speaker 6: They're going to go see her in like euphoria stuff.
- 16:29Speaker 9: Yeah, with their bois, you aren't going to go see
- 16:33Speaker 9: or anything just because to see like photos online and
- 16:35Speaker 9: be like sweet, Well.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Yeah, well I think I don't think.
- 16:39Speaker 8: I mean, it might be a smart move, but I
- 16:40Speaker 8: don't think it'll get people to go see it.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Now, Morgan, you and I we talked about this a
- 16:44Speaker 3: little bit. I definitely want to see the movie as well,
- 16:46Speaker 3: But I don't think they like really did a good
- 16:48Speaker 3: job on telling people when it actually came out.
- 16:50Speaker 8: No, there was like talk about it, but it just
- 16:53Speaker 8: kind of fizzled out before it came out.
- 16:55Speaker 3: Like the date where it got released didn't burn in
- 16:57Speaker 3: my brain. I had no idea when I was coming.
- 17:00Speaker 10: Out, and I think a new title would have helped,
- 17:02Speaker 10: Like Christy just well.
- 17:03Speaker 6: That's the girl's name.
- 17:05Speaker 9: Wait to understand, Yeah, I call a million dollar baby,
- 17:08Speaker 9: whatever the hell her name was.
- 17:10Speaker 13: They do that with what Tanya? Tanya?
- 17:12Speaker 7: Yeah, they always do that.
- 17:15Speaker 3: Okay. Another thing I didn't know apparently stell Stella McCartney.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Apparently apparently Stella McCartney was in the room when her
- 17:23Speaker 3: father Paul McCartney was packing his weed to go on
- 17:26Speaker 3: that trip to Japan where he got busted in nineteen
- 17:29Speaker 3: eighty and he got arrested. Oh and they were like,
- 17:31Speaker 3: they said that he was gonna go to jail for
- 17:34Speaker 3: like seven years. Well, in a recent interview, she shared
- 17:38Speaker 3: when she was she said that even a nine year
- 17:41Speaker 3: old could have packed better because there was like a
- 17:44Speaker 3: like a just a pillow sized bag of weed that
- 17:47Speaker 3: just went into the suitcase and they found it. But
- 17:51Speaker 3: I don't know if you know this, there has been
- 17:53Speaker 3: a conspiracy theory for a long time now that Yoko
- 17:55Speaker 3: Ono was actually the one that that leads. He said, Hey,
- 18:00Speaker 3: this guy's a big ass pothead. He's gonna have weed
- 18:03Speaker 3: on him. Bust them, he's bringing weed. Yeah Stella. McCartney
- 18:10Speaker 3: also said that he missed meeting Bob Marley because he
- 18:15Speaker 3: was just so messed up one day. So he was
- 18:18Speaker 3: a big hothead for a really long time. And then
- 18:21Speaker 3: Bob Marley died, but later on Paul McCartney ended up
- 18:25Speaker 3: being in one of his music videos after his death.
- 18:27Speaker 5: But who I mean, I don't know, Like it's it's
- 18:29Speaker 5: Paul McCartney. Like, uh, if you are the security guy
- 18:35Speaker 5: and you see there's some weed in Paul McCartney's.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Bag, Like I don't know, I see other way. Yeah,
- 18:41Speaker 3: that's what I'm saying too much. We're talking about Japan.
- 18:44Speaker 3: But also he's just like at that time, they're like
- 18:47Speaker 3: legal Jesus right now, you don't you don't even check
- 18:50Speaker 3: his bat nineteen eighty, but it could be some.
- 18:55Speaker 5: Nineteen eighty Beatles were not That was not the height
- 18:58Speaker 5: of Beetle Mayania. It was no, but I mean no,
- 19:01Speaker 5: they still have Jesus status now, the Beatles in the
- 19:04Speaker 5: way that they're like revered. Uh, Paul McCarty, the way
- 19:07Speaker 5: he's like watching about treated the worship.
- 19:09Speaker 7: Yeah, it's not like they were like we're over them.
- 19:12Speaker 3: Nobody's you don't check his bags? Yeah, that's.
- 19:17Speaker 5: Called somebody allegedly And uh, if you're Paul McCartney and like,
- 19:21Speaker 5: what are you doing you're traveling that way? I mean
- 19:24Speaker 5: you're going through TSA. Yeah, weird whatever Japan's TSA.
- 19:28Speaker 10: Like, Uh, I don't know what they call it.
- 19:30Speaker 5: Apparently you haven't heard of private travel allegedly allegedly, Thank
- 19:37Speaker 5: you very much, Medas no time for the Birthdays show.
- 19:42Speaker 7: We're going it's shiver, We're gonna sits and you know.
- 19:48Speaker 2: You don't do all right.
- 19:50Speaker 5: Celebrities al Michaels. Al Michaels is eighty one. You got
- 19:56Speaker 5: Ryan Gosling who is forty five today and Halfaway is
- 20:00Speaker 5: forty three, Wallace Sean Rex in the Toy Story movies,
- 20:04Speaker 5: and most importantly the Veeni and the Princess.
- 20:07Speaker 3: Bride even fievable. You bested my giants.
- 20:11Speaker 1: You've beaten my giants, which means You're exceptionally strong, so
- 20:14Speaker 1: you could have put the poison in your own goblet,
- 20:16Speaker 1: trusting on your strength to save you.
- 20:18Speaker 3: So I could clearly not choose the wine in front
- 20:20Speaker 3: of you.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Do it. But you've also bested my Spaniard, right, which
- 20:23Speaker 1: means you must have studied, and in studying you must
- 20:26Speaker 1: have learned that man is mortal, so you would have
- 20:28Speaker 1: put the poison as far from yourself as possible, so
- 20:31Speaker 1: I can clearly not choose the wine in front of me.
- 20:34Speaker 3: You're trying to trick me into giving away something ah
- 20:36Speaker 3: you felt you felt victim to.
- 20:38Speaker 5: One of the classic blunders.
- 20:39Speaker 1: The most famous is never get involved in a land
- 20:42Speaker 1: war in.
- 20:42Speaker 5: Asia, but only slightly less well known is this never
- 20:46Speaker 5: go in against a Sicilian when death.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Is on the line.
- 20:55Speaker 5: And then he died because he got the one with
- 20:57Speaker 5: the poison the spoiler spoiler alert for The Prince's Pride
- 21:01Speaker 5: and one of the greatest movies of all times. They
- 21:03Speaker 5: both had while Seawan is a too, yes, but he
- 21:06Speaker 5: had worked up his tolerance to came down.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Yes.
- 21:09Speaker 5: Megan Malaney from Will and Grace is sixty seven NBA
- 21:14Speaker 5: star Russell Westbrook is thirty seven. Sammy Sosa remember him,
- 21:18Speaker 5: I do. He's fifty seven, and Greg one of your favorites.
- 21:21Speaker 3: Neil Young is eighty years old. I know you love you.
- 21:26Speaker 10: So he's right up there with Springstreen Its Car's horrendous vocalist.
- 21:31Speaker 5: Go overrated worship though today's parnal birthday is Sam Cox.
- 21:36Speaker 5: First of all, Sam and today's birthday boy has hit
- 21:40Speaker 5: more walls than a rumba in one hundred and twenty
- 21:43Speaker 5: seven fine films, including Bimbo's and Botox. He was in
- 21:48Speaker 5: Any Cook Will Do. Also Ghetto Gaggers Volume one, he
- 21:53Speaker 5: was in Taking twelve Inches. Also Buttthole Bashed Volume one
- 21:58Speaker 5: he was in. Sam Cox is a four eyed slut.
- 22:01Speaker 5: Also Daddy Issues du jour and who can forget his
- 22:05Speaker 5: unforgetable role in Ji Islam accepts all souls.
- 22:13Speaker 10: He's living in hiding.
- 22:15Speaker 5: Now it's Sam Cox, who's fifty years old today currently
- 22:21Speaker 5: whoever produced that one h as Sam Cox who's fifty
- 22:26Speaker 5: years old. And that's your born on birthday, your celebrity birthdays,
- 22:31Speaker 5: and that is a little look what's happening in the
- 22:33Speaker 5: world of entertainment. You're on the Woody Show. That's good,
- 22:47Speaker 5: all right, welcome back everybody. Hi, Yeah, you still have
- 22:51Speaker 5: that cat you're looking after?
- 22:52Speaker 9: Yes, yeah, Steamboat Willie.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Her boyfriend is out of town. The demon cat.
- 22:58Speaker 5: It's like a couple of weeks, right, Yeah, in Paris
- 23:00Speaker 5: for work and you got to put eye drops in
- 23:03Speaker 5: this cat that wasn't like that. Yeah.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Did you buy the eagle talent gloves yet?
- 23:10Speaker 14: No?
- 23:10Speaker 1: I have not.
- 23:11Speaker 13: She still hisses at me a lot, and she does
- 23:13Speaker 13: bring the claws.
- 23:13Speaker 11: Out, but I think I've been able to kind of
- 23:16Speaker 11: maneuver her in a way to like lock her down,
- 23:19Speaker 11: but she's not happy about it.
- 23:20Speaker 5: So, uh, I was just reading. I thought about it'd
- 23:23Speaker 5: be so much easier if the cat was this cat,
- 23:26Speaker 5: this kitten in Brazil. It's a Cyclops cat. Oh so
- 23:30Speaker 5: it was born with just one eye in the middle
- 23:33Speaker 5: of its face.
- 23:35Speaker 3: Way easier.
- 23:37Speaker 10: Half.
- 23:39Speaker 6: That doesn't sound cute at all.
- 23:40Speaker 3: It's not girls.
- 23:44Speaker 5: You know how many people would love to have a
- 23:45Speaker 5: one eyed like a Cyclops cat. It's like people that
- 23:47Speaker 5: want three legged dogs and stuff.
- 23:49Speaker 12: You know.
- 23:49Speaker 13: Yeah, so you've seen it. Is it in the middle
- 23:52Speaker 13: of the middle?
- 23:54Speaker 6: Okay?
- 23:54Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 23:54Speaker 10: It mega died? Oh it did yeah?
- 23:57Speaker 3: Oh it died.
- 23:58Speaker 14: It didn't last It didn't look cute at all. I
- 24:00Speaker 14: didn't see itself in the mirror and kill itself. Oh
- 24:03Speaker 14: god that I had a couple issues by a car.
- 24:06Speaker 14: It looks like a monkey from a horror movie.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:08Speaker 5: The kitchen was part of the literal for the only
- 24:11Speaker 5: one born with the condition. Thank god.
- 24:13Speaker 10: Oh that's are there?
- 24:15Speaker 5: I mean, are there real? Has there been like a
- 24:17Speaker 5: person born with like a like a real life cyclops like.
- 24:20Speaker 10: In the right in the middle.
- 24:21Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 24:22Speaker 10: Well, that's maybe just.
- 24:23Speaker 9: Because to rewire your brain, just optic nerves, real time
- 24:29Speaker 9: real life cyclops.
- 24:30Speaker 7: They say it's not survivable, so yeah, really often, Yeah,
- 24:34Speaker 7: the brains you have to you have to scramble your innards. Yeah,
- 24:39Speaker 7: but like its a human born with cyclopia does not
- 24:43Speaker 7: survive pregnancy. This is because the brain and other organs
- 24:46Speaker 7: do not develop normally.
- 24:48Speaker 11: You've talked about that girl who was born without a
- 24:50Speaker 11: brain and she just from twenty years old, she.
- 24:52Speaker 5: Is it don't work, nothing, no power there, right, but weird.
- 25:00Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 25:02Speaker 5: The dogs that uh not the wheelburrow dogs. You know
- 25:06Speaker 5: they have like the wheels wheelchair Mike, my Chrissy's dog
- 25:10Speaker 5: had the had the wheels. Yeah, speedy, Uh The ones
- 25:15Speaker 5: I think are really funny slash cute are the ones
- 25:18Speaker 5: they have the three legs and they use their tails
- 25:20Speaker 5: kind of like a spinner.
- 25:23Speaker 7: That makes sense. And during Halloween when they do like
- 25:26Speaker 7: the dog parades. One of them was a three like
- 25:28Speaker 7: a dog and it had a thing that said.
- 25:30Speaker 9: I hop.
- 25:33Speaker 5: Like they're walking along and then their tail will spin
- 25:35Speaker 5: as they get to like where the you know, where
- 25:37Speaker 5: the leg would normally come down, and so it uses
- 25:39Speaker 5: it to use like a momentum. Yeah, I kind of
- 25:43Speaker 5: shift their momentum.
- 25:44Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 25:45Speaker 5: Also, I'm getting a lot of videos that are popping
- 25:47Speaker 5: up on my Instagram of dogs running into.
- 25:49Speaker 3: Piles of leaves.
- 25:52Speaker 10: I've seen those. Yeah, I love it. Yeah.
- 25:55Speaker 5: One was looking for her dogs and she looked out
- 25:57Speaker 5: into the yard. All she saw was a snout and
- 25:59Speaker 5: a couple eyes peeking out from the middle.
- 26:02Speaker 10: Of the of the pot.
- 26:03Speaker 3: It was adorable, you guys.
- 26:05Speaker 5: Eight seven seven forty four Woody text us over to
- 26:08Speaker 5: two two nine eight seven The Woody Shoe Shoe and
- 26:13Speaker 5: it's another new hour insensitivity Training for a politically correct world.
- 26:20Speaker 2: And what that is?
- 26:21Speaker 3: Greg Gory? Yeah, high wood menace, what's up hip? How
- 26:24Speaker 3: you doing, buddy? I'm good, all right, I'm outside.
- 26:27Speaker 5: Hey, buddy, We've got Gina grad Hi, SeaBASS is here,
- 26:33Speaker 5: Sammy's here, Hey, Morgan is here. Buddy. Phones are open, buddy,
- 26:37Speaker 5: eight seven seven forty four Wooding. You can hit us
- 26:40Speaker 5: up with the text over to two two nine eighty seven.
- 26:42Speaker 3: You can do that.
- 26:43Speaker 5: Well, Gina tells us what's happening with the trending news deadlines.
- 26:46Speaker 7: Well, today is day forty two of the government shutdown,
- 26:49Speaker 7: but it all goes according to plan. At some point
- 26:52Speaker 7: today the House will vote and the shutdown will finally
- 26:55Speaker 7: be over. Representatives from all the states flying in to
- 26:58Speaker 7: cast their votes if they can exactly, if their flights
- 27:00Speaker 7: don't get delayed because of you know them. The House
- 27:03Speaker 7: has a Republican majority, so the bill should pass, but
- 27:06Speaker 7: the margin is thin, like one vote thin. Yeah, But
- 27:09Speaker 7: assuming it.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Does pay, it'll go through.
- 27:11Speaker 7: Yeah yeah. Assuming it does, it means that the government
- 27:13Speaker 7: would be reopened immediately and stay that way until at
- 27:16Speaker 7: least the end of January. And of course, air traffic
- 27:18Speaker 7: controllers and essential federal workers who've been working without pay,
- 27:21Speaker 7: they'll get that check for all their back pay that
- 27:24Speaker 7: they're owed between twenty four and forty eight hours, which,
- 27:26Speaker 7: oh that's.
- 27:27Speaker 5: A lot quicker than I thought.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 27:28Speaker 5: I thought they're going to say, oh, six to eight business.
- 27:31Speaker 7: It is a lot of yeah exactly.
- 27:32Speaker 3: Usually, Wait, so are we saying it's over? Are we
- 27:35Speaker 3: just saying suspended?
- 27:36Speaker 7: It's it's it's band.
- 27:39Speaker 5: The funding will keep the government open through the end
- 27:42Speaker 5: of January, and then they got to go through all
- 27:43Speaker 5: this again. Yeah, another extension to your extended beyond the end.
- 27:48Speaker 7: Of January, just not around major holidays.
- 27:50Speaker 5: I mean, this happens all the time. This kind of
- 27:52Speaker 5: shutdown doesn't happen all the time, right, it's usually a
- 27:54Speaker 5: lot shorter, but.
- 27:55Speaker 7: Kicking the can happens all the day.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:58Speaker 7: Well, speaking of air travel, the Transportation Secretary said that, well,
- 28:01Speaker 7: things have been rough. It's starting to get better now,
- 28:03Speaker 7: and air traffic controllers, you know, come back to work,
- 28:05Speaker 7: and assuming that the shutdown does end today, the amount
- 28:08Speaker 7: of delays and cancelations should be quote stepped down over
- 28:12Speaker 7: the next handful of days, which will hopefully get everything
- 28:14Speaker 7: back to normal. Well, there was once again no winners
- 28:18Speaker 7: in last night's Mega million jackpot drawing, and well no
- 28:21Speaker 7: one got all six numbers. A few people did get
- 28:23Speaker 7: prizes like five million and three million. I'll take it.
- 28:26Speaker 7: That's fine. The game now moves to the fortieth consecutive
- 28:29Speaker 7: drawing with no winner on Friday, and the jackpot will
- 28:32Speaker 7: go up to nine hundred and sixty five million bucks.
- 28:35Speaker 7: But don't get excited once again. That's an estimated cash
- 28:38Speaker 7: payout before taxes of only four hundred and forty five million.
- 28:42Speaker 3: Just take it.
- 28:43Speaker 13: A billion already, I know, rounded up.
- 28:47Speaker 3: The point working round up, right, it's something.
- 28:52Speaker 6: Yeah, you all actually buy tickets for this.
- 28:56Speaker 7: I don't think I've ever bought a lot of each other?
- 28:57Speaker 3: Really, yeah, all the time, I do. I want to
- 29:00Speaker 3: sleep in.
- 29:01Speaker 13: Yeah, when a power ball got to a billion, I did.
- 29:03Speaker 13: That's why I'm like, I will if it gets to
- 29:05Speaker 13: a billion.
- 29:06Speaker 3: So let's get there, because it needs to be a
- 29:08Speaker 3: certain amount millions on a consistent basis to be fun.
- 29:16Speaker 5: It's a hedge, right, Like, so I don't I'm not
- 29:18Speaker 5: a normal gambler or a lottery player, right, And when
- 29:22Speaker 5: it gets to be this big of a story and
- 29:23Speaker 5: it's like, okay, it's one point whatever billion dollars, not
- 29:25Speaker 5: that the other money wouldn't be great, but considering I
- 29:29Speaker 5: never win anything again start. But I always think, you
- 29:33Speaker 5: know what, if I don't buy the ticket, that would
- 29:35Speaker 5: have been the time that I do want. So when
- 29:37Speaker 5: it gets to be this big story, then you know,
- 29:39Speaker 5: I'm like one of the other eight billion dopes in line.
- 29:42Speaker 13: The lines are long, and it's what I'm thinking about
- 29:45Speaker 13: it too.
- 29:45Speaker 11: I don't always think about it, but everyone's talking about it,
- 29:48Speaker 11: and I'm like, I should just go get one.
- 29:49Speaker 6: I'll participate.
- 29:50Speaker 7: I have a really stupid question, what do you do?
- 29:52Speaker 7: Do you go up to the counter or is there
- 29:54Speaker 7: a machine?
- 29:55Speaker 5: I go to either one to the convenience store and
- 29:57Speaker 5: I go to the count Because I don't know what
- 29:58Speaker 5: I'm doing. I don't pay specific numbers. I just get
- 30:01Speaker 5: like whatever the quick wick.
- 30:03Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, quick thing is just print it out and done,
- 30:05Speaker 3: little atm looking thing.
- 30:06Speaker 7: Well, I've never done it, because I'll never forget. A
- 30:08Speaker 7: certain radio personality used to call it the fools tax,
- 30:11Speaker 7: so I'm like, oh, I don't want to.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Be at well, yeah, every fool, every rich and financial
- 30:16Speaker 3: person will say it is a fool's tax, is like
- 30:18Speaker 3: the dumbest thing you can.
- 30:19Speaker 5: But because I think the majority and the numbers support it,
- 30:21Speaker 5: the majority of the people who are spending money on lottery,
- 30:24Speaker 5: or people who don't have money to.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Spend on lottery.
- 30:26Speaker 7: Five bucks once a year old.
- 30:28Speaker 5: Yeah, it's one thing to throw a penny into a
- 30:30Speaker 5: fountain and make a wish. It's nothing to spend, you know,
- 30:32Speaker 5: thirty bucks on a scratcher.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Yeah, there's financial people that are really really passionate about it,
- 30:38Speaker 3: and they feel like it should be banned.
- 30:40Speaker 7: Yeah, for sure, like it should be illegal.
- 30:42Speaker 10: How many tickets do you get, man, it's just one,
- 30:44Speaker 10: just one.
- 30:45Speaker 5: I mean that's gambling in general.
- 30:46Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, right, essentially ninety nine percent of it just
- 30:50Speaker 10: throwing your money in the garbage.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, put that one chance.
- 30:54Speaker 10: I mean I won once in my life fifteen hundred
- 30:56Speaker 10: bucks biggest thought machine wine and I remember it like
- 30:59Speaker 10: it was yes esterday. So imagine winning Wait, was it
- 31:02Speaker 10: like Sammy, you only get it if it goes over
- 31:03Speaker 10: a billion. Imagine if you won one million dollars deal.
- 31:08Speaker 13: You know it is, I would forget. It'd be amazing.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Freak out, Greg.
- 31:11Speaker 7: Was it back far enough in the day where you
- 31:13Speaker 7: got a bucket and all the quarters came out?
- 31:15Speaker 10: Now the machine just froze up and then somebody came over.
- 31:18Speaker 7: I like that, but I like the buckets. Yeah, I
- 31:20Speaker 7: remember that four out all the quarters. Well by Heart
- 31:24Speaker 7: baby formula. If anybody's feeding their kids this, take a listen.
- 31:28Speaker 7: They've recalled all their products nationwide after some batches of
- 31:31Speaker 7: their organic formula were recalled due to an outbreak of
- 31:34Speaker 7: infant bachelism. So so far, it's affected fifteen babies in
- 31:38Speaker 7: twelve states. They've all been hospitalized. The company's formulas made
- 31:41Speaker 7: Iowa and packaged in Oregon, so authorities are looking into
- 31:45Speaker 7: both those places. So far, no unopened cans have tested positive,
- 31:49Speaker 7: but one open can was linked to a sick Baby.
- 31:52Speaker 7: By Heart says they're cooperating. They want to get to
- 31:54Speaker 7: the bottom of this, so just be careful out there.
- 31:56Speaker 10: Here's my question about do you mix it with water?
- 31:58Speaker 10: How do you make that stuff?
- 31:59Speaker 7: I think, well, having been someone who I think a
- 32:05Speaker 7: lot of times, Yeah, just like water for mill or whatever.
- 32:07Speaker 5: They mix it with water, scoop and then you fill
- 32:10Speaker 5: it up to the line on the bottle.
- 32:12Speaker 7: Did you guys do that?
- 32:13Speaker 3: Yeah, you shake it up.
- 32:14Speaker 10: I know you ever tried it?
- 32:15Speaker 7: Bottle?
- 32:16Speaker 2: Hell?
- 32:16Speaker 3: No stinks? Yeah, I know. Is when I worked at
- 32:20Speaker 3: the grocery store, we had it locked up. Yeah, like
- 32:22Speaker 3: twenty years ago. So sad.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Oh boy.
- 32:25Speaker 7: Well, the newest college football playoff rankings came out last night,
- 32:28Speaker 7: and Ohio State, Indiana, Texas, A and m and Alabama
- 32:32Speaker 7: are still in the top four, but behind them little shakeup.
- 32:35Speaker 7: Georgia is still at number five, but Texas Tech made
- 32:37Speaker 7: the leap to six after their big win over BYU.
- 32:41Speaker 7: Ole Miss moved down one spot to number seven in Oregon.
- 32:44Speaker 7: Notre Dame, Texas, and Oklahoma all moved up one spot
- 32:47Speaker 7: after BYU fell to number twelve. Number fifteen Miami and
- 32:51Speaker 7: number twenty four South Florida all both in the lead
- 32:54Speaker 7: of their conferences, which means if the playoffs started today,
- 32:57Speaker 7: they'd replace Oklahoma and by This is.
- 33:00Speaker 3: The time of year starts getting exciting. The NFL.
- 33:02Speaker 5: Yeah, like the playoff push really gets underway. College football
- 33:05Speaker 5: same But eme though I'm not in the college football
- 33:07Speaker 5: it is not like my college football buddies, they're like,
- 33:10Speaker 5: they wait for.
- 33:10Speaker 3: This every week.
- 33:11Speaker 5: We're about Yeah, they wait for this ranking to come out.
- 33:14Speaker 5: They all start talking smack through each other.
- 33:16Speaker 7: The only reason I like college football, just the idea
- 33:18Speaker 7: of it, is because it makes me think of the greatest,
- 33:21Speaker 7: and I know you're not a Key and Peel fan menace,
- 33:23Speaker 7: but the greatest. H the NFCUS west Ball, the name
- 33:27Speaker 7: Boin shower handle.
- 33:28Speaker 5: Yep, there's a lot of those names now, Yeah, legit,
- 33:33Speaker 5: Yeah amazing.
- 33:34Speaker 2: I forget.
- 33:34Speaker 5: We were just talking about some of those names more recently. Yeah,
- 33:37Speaker 5: I forget the one It was like, yeah, Tyler should know,
- 33:40Speaker 5: like snack shack y, there's something equally not that but
- 33:45Speaker 5: equally as ridiculous.
- 33:46Speaker 7: Oh, I can't wait to hear those well. Finally, the
- 33:49Speaker 7: White House introduced a new idea to help with home affordability,
- 33:52Speaker 7: but not everybody's a fan of this. Well, most first
- 33:55Speaker 7: time home buyers take out a thirty year mortgage. This
- 33:57Speaker 7: new idea would see the creation of a year mortgage.
- 34:01Speaker 7: The idea would stretch out payments that monthly bills would drop,
- 34:04Speaker 7: and homes would become more affordable. The Federal Housing Finance
- 34:07Speaker 7: Agency says this is a complete game changer, but critics
- 34:11Speaker 7: like when He's Homeboy Dave Ramsey, they say this is
- 34:13Speaker 7: bad news.
- 34:14Speaker 5: I saw a funny things. They had an AI picture
- 34:18Speaker 5: of Dave Ramsey in the hospital bed and says Dave
- 34:20Speaker 5: Ramsey in critical condition after learning of fifty year mortgage ideas.
- 34:24Speaker 7: Yeah, it makes he's pissed. The problem is that the
- 34:28Speaker 7: payoffs payments would drop, the interest over over time would
- 34:31Speaker 7: become so big you'd end up paying double for your house.
- 34:34Speaker 3: You never people don't care about that? Yeah, well x
- 34:37Speaker 3: yeah people should, But.
- 34:38Speaker 10: You don't care about that thirty year mortgage. By the
- 34:40Speaker 10: time you paid it off, you've more than double.
- 34:42Speaker 11: We're going to be Yeah, but the fifty year mortgage,
- 34:45Speaker 11: it only goes down by like two hundred dollars a
- 34:47Speaker 11: month or something. It's only a few hundred dollars that
- 34:48Speaker 11: you would even save monthly.
- 34:50Speaker 5: And then you add on that thirty and fifty years.
- 34:53Speaker 11: Yeah, you don't say that much monthly got to double.
- 34:57Speaker 5: You would think it almost half the payments?
- 35:00Speaker 7: Interest? Is that why it's not prins right, it's because
- 35:02Speaker 7: of the interest.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Well.
- 35:04Speaker 7: Experts also warned that the new plan would drive up
- 35:06Speaker 7: demand without fixing the actual issue of number of homes
- 35:09Speaker 7: available in the first place.
- 35:10Speaker 10: Well then do it a one hundred year Yeah?
- 35:12Speaker 5: Yeah, what's the max term for a car loan?
- 35:17Speaker 10: I recently did eighty four? You did I think?
- 35:20Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 35:21Speaker 3: I didn't think that was my God, Greg.
- 35:23Speaker 10: Why, Yeah, because I wanted a lower payment.
- 35:25Speaker 3: Whoa, that's the worst.
- 35:27Speaker 5: Way to negotiate for a car. You never negotiate on
- 35:30Speaker 5: payment on agreed. Holy it gets screwed.
- 35:34Speaker 3: I thought that was the internet joke. I didn't think
- 35:35Speaker 3: you could actually no, seven years exactly.
- 35:38Speaker 13: And saving monthly by doing that versus the other.
- 35:42Speaker 10: Over one hundred a month one hundred, I don't care.
- 35:46Speaker 10: I would have done a ninety eight month.
- 35:47Speaker 3: And this is how Greg ends up upside down like
- 35:50Speaker 3: crazy on these cars.
- 35:51Speaker 7: Wait a second, is.
- 35:51Speaker 3: That's not true?
- 35:52Speaker 10: Would my most recent car sale I made a profit
- 35:55Speaker 10: four grand.
- 35:56Speaker 5: When the most recent one, yes, a.
- 35:59Speaker 10: Couple months ago.
- 36:00Speaker 7: Isn't that how dumb ass Tyler got his name? Ye
- 36:03Speaker 7: long pay?
- 36:04Speaker 10: Yeah that was a lease though, Yeah?
- 36:06Speaker 3: What was that Tyler he had?
- 36:07Speaker 10: He had?
- 36:08Speaker 5: This is when he first started working here years ago,
- 36:10Speaker 5: and then he left and he went to go to
- 36:12Speaker 5: Houston for a while, and he got the nickname dumbass
- 36:16Speaker 5: Tyler because of this of his lease. I'm sorry as
- 36:19Speaker 5: Dave Rams who called a fleece, No, definitely a fleece
- 36:22Speaker 5: it was. I think the lease was hold on, hold
- 36:25Speaker 5: on with it.
- 36:26Speaker 3: What was the what was the year in.
- 36:27Speaker 15: Make twenty seventeen Toyo Coma Okay, yeah, noise, Yeah, still
- 36:33Speaker 15: one of my favorites.
- 36:33Speaker 3: How much did you put down?
- 36:35Speaker 2: Now?
- 36:35Speaker 15: I didn't put anything down, Okay, Now this is where
- 36:39Speaker 15: the dumb part comes in. So yes, I leased it.
- 36:42Speaker 15: It was for about six years, not including the insurance.
- 36:46Speaker 15: The bill was about six hundred a month. Yeah, it
- 36:48Speaker 15: was probably not the pay top of that I traded
- 36:51Speaker 15: in my twenty twelve MAZ the M three that I
- 36:55Speaker 15: was only making about two hundred dollars a month in
- 36:59Speaker 15: payments on.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Yeah, my god.
- 37:00Speaker 15: So like the nickname is very much though I looked good. Yeah,
- 37:06Speaker 15: helped a couple of people move. I felt important, and
- 37:08Speaker 15: then my world came crumbling down when I had to
- 37:10Speaker 15: borrow that mini van.
- 37:11Speaker 10: For a bit.
- 37:12Speaker 5: I know what it was, Yeah, Greg's most recent thing.
- 37:15Speaker 5: He sold the car to one of our sponsors. Give
- 37:17Speaker 5: me the van maybe, yeah, four thousand dollars profit.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:21Speaker 5: Like during COVID, I had a car that I was
- 37:25Speaker 5: getting out of and I brought it at that point
- 37:28Speaker 5: and got.
- 37:29Speaker 10: Man, it was like I made money on that car.
- 37:32Speaker 10: Yeah exactly. That that was the time to do it,
- 37:35Speaker 10: and I kind of regretted not doing it back then
- 37:37Speaker 10: and then did give me the vin and I was like, deal,
- 37:41Speaker 10: take it. It was great.
- 37:42Speaker 5: Greg's got an eighty two month car whatever whatever.
- 37:46Speaker 10: The biggest one is.
- 37:47Speaker 3: But if you treated like how you should treat houses,
- 37:51Speaker 3: you're like, oh, I'll.
- 37:52Speaker 10: Get rid of it before exactly, and I send more
- 37:55Speaker 10: than they.
- 37:56Speaker 5: It depends on what it's gonna be worth, though, That's
- 37:58Speaker 5: the thing, because you want to get out of it.
- 38:00Speaker 5: You can't get what it's worth while you're upside down.
- 38:02Speaker 5: You got to amil that or you make you know,
- 38:04Speaker 5: make a payment to just pay that off.
- 38:05Speaker 10: You definitely got to keep your eye on it. Oh
- 38:07Speaker 10: for sure the math works out, and knowing me, I'll
- 38:09Speaker 10: probably want a new one in four months.
- 38:12Speaker 3: But I am shocked again because there's so many like
- 38:15Speaker 3: joke videos out there about people having like, yeah, one
- 38:17Speaker 3: hundred and twenty month payment. Yeah crazy, I never thought
- 38:21Speaker 3: that was real.
- 38:22Speaker 10: You get your monthly payment down to twelve dollars.
- 38:25Speaker 6: Worth it was six years, so that seems pretty good.
- 38:28Speaker 7: God Morgan, Well right, well that's what's going on.
- 38:31Speaker 3: I thank you, Gina gree We got some more Woodies
- 38:33Speaker 3: show for your next.
- 38:34Speaker 2: Hand me right back.
- 38:42Speaker 3: Sammy's all excited.
- 38:43Speaker 5: I mean, she loves the holidays, she loves Christmas, she
- 38:46Speaker 5: decorated already. She's going to the Amazon Holiday gift book
- 38:50Speaker 5: that she got in the mail. Oh yeah, I remember
- 38:53Speaker 5: doing that when we used to get to the toys
- 38:55Speaker 5: Arrests catalog and the circle even like Sears Sears.
- 39:00Speaker 3: Send out like their holiday Oh serious.
- 39:04Speaker 5: Yeah, and they had like the electronics and the toy
- 39:07Speaker 5: section that was kind of toys, the dock. All the
- 39:10Speaker 5: boring stuff was in the front, like furniture. I just
- 39:13Speaker 5: go and I would circle the items in there, and
- 39:16Speaker 5: I was handed to my parents like Ralphie did when
- 39:18Speaker 5: he cleverly placed his mom's Look magazine with the red
- 39:23Speaker 5: rider be begun advertisement.
- 39:24Speaker 10: And imagine getting remember getting sweaters and.
- 39:29Speaker 3: Yeah, my big thing was always our parents would get
- 39:32Speaker 3: my sisters and I socks. Yeah, and they thought it
- 39:36Speaker 3: was cute.
- 39:37Speaker 5: It became an annual thing, and it got to a
- 39:39Speaker 5: point where we were adults at this point to goo,
- 39:41Speaker 5: so are you still interested in in the in the socks.
- 39:44Speaker 5: I was never interested in Yeah, see, they thought that
- 39:48Speaker 5: was funny. Now we did get gifts like the ones
- 39:51Speaker 5: that we wanted, you know, just the socks was just
- 39:53Speaker 5: kind of like a cute thing. The same way we
- 39:55Speaker 5: would get a new Christmas ornament on Christmas Eve that
- 39:58Speaker 5: we would open.
- 39:59Speaker 3: It's only I would always get. That was the tradition.
- 40:02Speaker 13: Yeah, we got Christmas pjs on Christmas Eve. You put
- 40:05Speaker 13: on your new pj's, you make up Christmas morning and
- 40:07Speaker 13: your new Christmas beech.
- 40:08Speaker 5: My cousin always got the the the Hess toy truck,
- 40:12Speaker 5: like the annual Hess truck that would come out. Yeah,
- 40:17Speaker 5: so's he's got all those going back. However, many years
- 40:20Speaker 5: that was from you know, the grandparents. It was like
- 40:22Speaker 5: a yeah, everybody's got their thing.
- 40:26Speaker 3: This year.
- 40:27Speaker 5: It's actually pretty easy. I mean the kids are to
- 40:30Speaker 5: an age sixteen and thirteen where my son just wants
- 40:34Speaker 5: cash nice, he's saving up for stuff, you know. And
- 40:38Speaker 5: then my daughter her list is actually very reasonable really because.
- 40:41Speaker 3: I've been asking like what do kids want these days?
- 40:44Speaker 3: Because I have you know, friends that have kids, and
- 40:46Speaker 3: I have a nephew, so I don't even know what
- 40:49Speaker 3: kids want.
- 40:49Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean my daughter wants a lot of skincare
- 40:52Speaker 5: crap yeah yeah, yeah care. Her and all her little
- 40:57Speaker 5: thirteen year old friends they're all into Sephora, uh and
- 41:01Speaker 5: things that my wife won't even buy for herself.
- 41:03Speaker 7: I mean, things could be worse. Take care of your skin, yeah, true,
- 41:07Speaker 7: but like do you.
- 41:08Speaker 5: Need that when your when your skin is already like
- 41:10Speaker 5: young and you know, full of elasticity in college, all
- 41:14Speaker 5: the things that you would use these things. She's good, right,
- 41:17Speaker 5: I'm saying, does it have an adverse effect.
- 41:19Speaker 3: We're talking about? Right, Yeah, as long as they're not
- 41:23Speaker 3: doing botox, I think they're okay.
- 41:27Speaker 13: Yeah, it's lotions and cleansers and stuff.
- 41:29Speaker 5: I mean, your step son's ten, what does he want?
- 41:32Speaker 7: He wants, Well, he wants a new bike, and it's
- 41:35Speaker 7: all gadget based.
- 41:36Speaker 5: Didn't we give him a bike?
- 41:38Speaker 7: You were going to but we haven't circled back on
- 41:42Speaker 7: that yet.
- 41:43Speaker 3: What do you mean?
- 41:43Speaker 5: Circle back? So my son doesn't need his bike anymore.
- 41:46Speaker 5: It's a really nice he barely used it. It's a
- 41:47Speaker 5: really nice trek bike mountain.
- 41:50Speaker 7: Okay. By circle back, I mean you haven't given it
- 41:52Speaker 7: to us. So that's going to get them one.
- 41:58Speaker 5: My wife is going to donate them, and I go,
- 41:59Speaker 5: you might to check with Gina and Andy and I
- 42:02Speaker 5: want to see if they're steps on.
- 42:03Speaker 7: I was gonna do like a huffy like I don't
- 42:05Speaker 7: can't afford like a nine hundred dollars bike.
- 42:08Speaker 3: This is a nice ass bike. Really, yeah, it's a
- 42:10Speaker 3: it's a.
- 42:11Speaker 7: Super nice that would be amazing.
- 42:14Speaker 5: No, I think it needs a new rear tire because
- 42:16Speaker 5: he popped that like hopping curbs and stuff.
- 42:18Speaker 7: Problem.
- 42:19Speaker 5: But like he hasn't he hasn't rode that thing in months.
- 42:21Speaker 5: At this point sixteen, you don't go back to bikes, No,
- 42:24Speaker 5: you want to unless and now it's not it's not
- 42:27Speaker 5: any bike, it's just it's a regular mountain okay, just
- 42:31Speaker 5: making sure.
- 42:31Speaker 7: Because all the little boys in the neighborhood are and
- 42:33Speaker 7: he just walks behind him. He's like, I want to
- 42:35Speaker 7: put Oh, it's really sadly.
- 42:38Speaker 5: I'm gonna text my wife right now laughing at him.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Are they like riding mountain bikes? Are they riding those
- 42:44Speaker 3: oversized bm Mexicans? No, that's super popular.
- 42:47Speaker 7: I don't think they're there there.
- 42:49Speaker 3: They just want to bike ten what else?
- 42:51Speaker 5: What does he want that?
- 42:52Speaker 7: And it's all like Nintendo based, all, Super Mario based,
- 42:56Speaker 7: Mario Sunshine all. He has every game Boy everything thing.
- 43:00Speaker 7: That's that's his thing.
- 43:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:01Speaker 10: See, I never know what to get anybody kid or Otherwise,
- 43:05Speaker 10: what do you give an adult as a gift. I
- 43:07Speaker 10: don't know.
- 43:07Speaker 5: See, I've made an argument for years to stop buying
- 43:11Speaker 5: gifts for adults.
- 43:12Speaker 10: I mean I support that idea. I don't want to
- 43:14Speaker 10: receive gifts, that's.
- 43:15Speaker 3: Right, and that's my point.
- 43:17Speaker 5: I don't I don't want a gift.
- 43:18Speaker 7: I don't want to because also I love giving gifts,
- 43:22Speaker 7: but I think they should be practical. Like last year,
- 43:24Speaker 7: I gave you all like car safety kits, like practical.
- 43:27Speaker 7: I don't like. I hate kitch, I hate I want
- 43:31Speaker 7: stuff that you can use.
- 43:33Speaker 5: Okay, I did wear Gina got me a birthday present.
- 43:37Speaker 7: Well, it wasn't for your birthdays having me around that time.
- 43:40Speaker 10: So and I wore.
- 43:42Speaker 5: I wore it and it was bad luck because the
- 43:43Speaker 5: Steelers got crushed. It was a It was a black
- 43:47Speaker 5: T shirt and says touch don, touch don because that's Pittsburgh.
- 43:50Speaker 3: At up don, you know, going down town.
- 43:54Speaker 5: Says touch don. And that was the worst game they
- 43:56Speaker 5: played all year. So see how gifts work out. Yeah,
- 43:59Speaker 5: it was actually really nice shirt, very very soft and
- 44:02Speaker 5: very comfortable, and you were worried about the side. The
- 44:04Speaker 5: size was great, perfect, but you know with with parents, uh,
- 44:07Speaker 5: siblings as adults, like all we're doing essentially with you know,
- 44:11Speaker 5: my sisters, for example, they buy us a gift card,
- 44:14Speaker 5: we buy them a gift card.
- 44:16Speaker 3: You're just kind of.
- 44:17Speaker 5: Going through the motions, you know, because everybody's busy, like
- 44:20Speaker 5: I don't, I don't know. And also that you're fifty,
- 44:23Speaker 5: I don't like you got your own business, Like, I
- 44:27Speaker 5: don't know, what do you want?
- 44:28Speaker 10: I think?
- 44:29Speaker 3: I think the go to gift that I might give
- 44:31Speaker 3: out is the Ninja Crispy Costco.
- 44:36Speaker 7: Pretty cool.
- 44:37Speaker 5: Wait, that's not the one that makes the ice cream,
- 44:39Speaker 5: is it?
- 44:39Speaker 2: No?
- 44:40Speaker 5: No, no, The Ninja Creamy is the one you seen
- 44:43Speaker 5: that I thought about getting that creamy. Yeah, you can
- 44:47Speaker 5: make your own soft so that's pretty cools.
- 44:52Speaker 10: I would destroy my life.
- 44:54Speaker 3: And then Ninja also makes one for margaritas. Greg the
- 44:58Speaker 3: creamy the margarita one. Crispy is like the new version
- 45:03Speaker 3: of the air fryer. Okay, but what does it do
- 45:05Speaker 3: that an air fryer doesn't do? Why do people?
- 45:09Speaker 13: Is it more of a fryer?
- 45:11Speaker 3: I don't know really know how to describe it. It's
- 45:14Speaker 3: kind of just like a glass bowl and then something
- 45:17Speaker 3: sits on top of it, and then cooks it.
- 45:20Speaker 9: It's like when people just.
- 45:21Speaker 7: Get the airfire tops for their crock pot or whatever.
- 45:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:24Speaker 10: Look it's crispy with that eye.
- 45:27Speaker 5: The Ninja Crispy it's pretty affordable costco. It does look
- 45:32Speaker 5: like a baily sized cooking system. Six court and two
- 45:34Speaker 5: point five court glassware storagelets, crisper plate, blah blah blah,
- 45:38Speaker 5: a powerful cooking system, air fry that can cook a
- 45:41Speaker 5: seven and a half pound chicken feeding up to ten people.
- 45:43Speaker 3: What you were wearing by this thing though?
- 45:46Speaker 7: Yeah, my mom just got one.
- 45:48Speaker 10: Oh yeah here.
- 45:49Speaker 5: The Ninja Crispy Pro countertop glass air Fryer is an
- 45:52Speaker 5: eighteen hundred adjustable air frier made to stay out on
- 45:55Speaker 5: your countertop.
- 45:56Speaker 3: Greg no.
- 46:00Speaker 5: Families and parties, with six customizable functions and precise temperature control,
- 46:04Speaker 5: delivering perfect results every time.
- 46:06Speaker 3: Yeah, but I think this thing is way more easier
- 46:08Speaker 3: to store, Greg.
- 46:10Speaker 10: Yeah, you could take the top offer space.
- 46:12Speaker 3: It's a niche coffee machine.
- 46:13Speaker 5: It's a Ninja air fryer.
- 46:15Speaker 7: Pretty much, but it's mostly just the lid is the
- 46:17Speaker 7: air flyer.
- 46:18Speaker 10: Right, that's pretty cool.
- 46:19Speaker 5: See, but it's on Target's website two seventy nine, ninety nine.
- 46:24Speaker 3: You're gonna give it.
- 46:25Speaker 5: It's available in ash gray and in cyber space.
- 46:28Speaker 3: It's like one six at Costco. It's probably gonna go
- 46:31Speaker 3: down there. You go during the I have a four
- 46:33Speaker 3: and one, a five and one, and a six and one.
- 46:36Speaker 5: If you want some other ideas, like you're getting your
- 46:38Speaker 5: holiday shopping together. Coming up next after the break, Gina
- 46:41Speaker 5: and Greg I've tasked them with going over the twenty
- 46:43Speaker 5: twenty five Goop Holiday Gift Guide. Now this is the stuff.
- 46:48Speaker 5: This is Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle brand, Ohop, and uh, it's
- 46:53Speaker 5: got all kinds. It's very pricey. Yeah, if you like
- 46:56Speaker 5: to use money as toilet like a like a you
- 47:00Speaker 5: have like a fourteen hundred dollars vintage ash tray is
- 47:03Speaker 5: on there a that there's a thirty six hundred dollars telescope,
- 47:07Speaker 5: you know, thing things like that. But also they've got
- 47:10Speaker 5: like gold plated handcuffs and a paddle there in they're
- 47:13Speaker 5: under one hundred dollars section. Yeah, very naughty. Greg might
- 47:17Speaker 5: have that on his list.
- 47:18Speaker 3: I'm not sure.
- 47:18Speaker 5: We'll find out next though. And you get some good
- 47:20Speaker 5: ideas for the people on your list.
- 47:22Speaker 3: You can move on the.
- 47:22Speaker 5: Floor, right, you can you can choose something or whatever. Man,
- 47:26Speaker 5: you crap in my mad Yeah.
- 47:29Speaker 3: That might be a deal. And now more of the
- 47:33Speaker 3: Woody Show. Just a little context to that clip.
- 47:37Speaker 5: We're talking about a person that was a friend who
- 47:40Speaker 5: had a pet who kept crapping in their bed, and man,
- 47:45Speaker 5: you can really love something, but don't you think that
- 47:47Speaker 5: would be the end of it?
- 47:48Speaker 7: Yeah, we are in your bedog diarrhea in bed?
- 47:52Speaker 2: No dog, dog.
- 47:54Speaker 5: We're talking about what do people really want for Christmas,
- 47:57Speaker 5: for the holidays, whatever you're celebrating. We mentioned gift cards
- 48:01Speaker 5: because I said, you know, my sisters and I just
- 48:03Speaker 5: basically exchange gift cards.
- 48:05Speaker 3: Like why we go with this charade? No, nonine?
- 48:09Speaker 5: How do you guys feel about getting a gift card?
- 48:10Speaker 5: Some of my family think the thoughtfulness is lost, But
- 48:12Speaker 5: I love them. That's from Ashley set them on over.
- 48:16Speaker 5: I think gift cards, I think looked love them. If
- 48:18Speaker 5: we're talking about as they're fine. I know there used
- 48:20Speaker 5: to be a thing about that, the same way there
- 48:22Speaker 5: used to be a thing when when debit cards and
- 48:25Speaker 5: stuff first started. Like dude, you're using your debit card
- 48:28Speaker 5: to buy a pack of gums.
- 48:29Speaker 10: That's true.
- 48:30Speaker 5: Yeah, there was like a weird stigma.
- 48:32Speaker 10: There really was.
- 48:33Speaker 5: There was a stigma with gift cards. Oh it's not thoughtful. Well,
- 48:36Speaker 5: what if it's to a place that I know Greg loves? Yeah,
- 48:39Speaker 5: I love you know who cares menace? You love Taco Bell?
- 48:43Speaker 5: I get you a Taco Bell gift card?
- 48:45Speaker 8: Is like, it's kind of the most thoughtful because then
- 48:47Speaker 8: the person gets what they want correct specific place.
- 48:51Speaker 6: Actually the most thoughtful.
- 48:52Speaker 5: Now we're gonna find some really good stuff and I've
- 48:54Speaker 5: I've tasked both Gina and Greg to look through the
- 48:57Speaker 5: twenty twenty five Goop holiday gift Guys. This is Gwyneth
- 49:00Speaker 5: Paltrow's lifestyle brand, Goop or the Vagina Candle, and you know,
- 49:05Speaker 5: stuff like that we've heard from from before the Yeah,
- 49:09Speaker 5: yeah exactly.
- 49:10Speaker 3: Now what if?
- 49:11Speaker 5: What did you guys find anything good?
- 49:12Speaker 14: Well?
- 49:12Speaker 10: I want to start with something that I've found, and
- 49:14Speaker 10: mine has a theme. This is my theme is stuff
- 49:16Speaker 10: you could find at home goods for about twenty nine dollars.
- 49:19Speaker 10: That's my theme. So I'm holding up this picture. What
- 49:22Speaker 10: does this look like to you? Woodie?
- 49:25Speaker 5: That looks like, oh like kind of like like, I
- 49:27Speaker 5: don't know, like a thing that you would put like blankets.
- 49:30Speaker 7: Or pillow there, basket, it's a basket.
- 49:32Speaker 3: It's like a big it's like a big basket.
- 49:34Speaker 10: Right. You could find this at home Goods for about
- 49:35Speaker 10: twenty nine bucks. It's called an oversized basket. Keeps whatever
- 49:38Speaker 10: you need stored, firewood, cashmere, throws, or maybe some snow.
- 49:42Speaker 7: Shoes or your gold cubes.
- 49:44Speaker 10: And it is one three dollars.
- 49:48Speaker 15: Damn.
- 49:49Speaker 3: What's it made at?
- 49:49Speaker 2: Why?
- 49:50Speaker 10: Powder coated steel?
- 49:52Speaker 7: Okay, so like like what you put plants in and like, yeah,
- 49:56Speaker 7: galvanized steel.
- 49:57Speaker 3: You got caught some throw blankets you need stored? Thirty
- 50:00Speaker 3: one hundred dollars.
- 50:01Speaker 7: Wow, Well, mine has a little bit of a theme too.
- 50:04Speaker 7: It's these are under the female wellness section. Okay, if
- 50:09Speaker 7: you know what I mean, I'm listening, Yes, a Morgan
- 50:12Speaker 7: look alive. This is called the vFit gold let's call
- 50:19Speaker 7: it like a wand.
- 50:21Speaker 3: Okay, vibrator. Yeah it's now.
- 50:25Speaker 7: It's not free. It's three hundred and ninety five bucks,
- 50:28Speaker 7: but it promises a really good time. It's a non
- 50:32Speaker 7: invasive approach to promoting pelvic floor muscle tone, sexual function,
- 50:37Speaker 7: and intimate well being. And it uses red light vibration
- 50:42Speaker 7: and gentle warmth to stimulate local blood flow in the vagina.
- 50:45Speaker 3: Now that says warm, Now that says Merry Christmas.
- 50:48Speaker 7: Yeah, it's medical grade silicone. And uh it has a
- 50:53Speaker 7: one year warranty. I hate that.
- 50:54Speaker 6: I want one. It sounds like it would be good.
- 50:58Speaker 7: Yeah, it has all kinds of floor. Is very you know, popular,
- 51:02Speaker 7: and yeah it's very popular. Well, so you don't like
- 51:06Speaker 7: it is and it's most isn't it? Mostly so you
- 51:08Speaker 7: don't like pee your pants?
- 51:09Speaker 13: Oh I don't as Yeah.
- 51:12Speaker 7: I'm doing it right.
- 51:14Speaker 3: What do you got? This is a beautiful cocktail shaker.
- 51:19Speaker 5: Okay, so when you're making your Martinis and Martins.
- 51:23Speaker 10: Yeah, your your little Christmas beverages. It's a gorgeous cobbler
- 51:27Speaker 10: style cocktail shaker, done an Italian pewter and finished with
- 51:31Speaker 10: etched lines. Again, you can find this at home Goods
- 51:34Speaker 10: for about twenty nine dollars. Less than that, less than that, yeah,
- 51:38Speaker 10: five dollars four hundred and ninety one dollars. Yeah, a
- 51:42Speaker 10: cocktail shaker. Yeah, made in Italy.
- 51:46Speaker 7: Well, I'm going to deviate from my theme just to
- 51:48Speaker 7: hop on Greg's theme real quick, because you know, when
- 51:52Speaker 7: you have people over, it's the holidays, you're doing your martinis.
- 51:55Speaker 7: They get bored. You want to play a little game,
- 51:57Speaker 7: so you can't a little tiny, teeny tiny like travel
- 52:02Speaker 7: tic tac.
- 52:02Speaker 5: Toe that sounds like so much fun. So I actually
- 52:06Speaker 5: daughter loves tictac.
- 52:08Speaker 3: In the year twenty, I actually have one of these.
- 52:11Speaker 3: Oh I wouldn't like sits on like a coffee table,
- 52:14Speaker 3: but it's like golden wood. Well, I can tell you
- 52:17Speaker 3: how much I paid for it, mar Well.
- 52:20Speaker 7: This is voltaira alabaster, so I don't know Marble. And
- 52:23Speaker 7: it also doubles as a chic storage box and it's
- 52:28Speaker 7: it puts a luxurious spin on an otherwise leisurely game.
- 52:31Speaker 7: How much was yours menace?
- 52:33Speaker 3: I think it was like twenty bucks from Target, so it.
- 52:36Speaker 7: Wasn't one thousand, five hundred.
- 52:39Speaker 5: On Google's a bargain. It's like shopping on Have you
- 52:43Speaker 5: ever seen that? It's called front Gate? No, yea that yeah, yeah,
- 52:50Speaker 5: it's I think my wife ordered something from there once
- 52:53Speaker 5: and it was a doormat okay that has like the
- 52:58Speaker 5: like the letter of your of your last name. Yeah,
- 53:01Speaker 5: and she ordered one thing from there a billion years ago.
- 53:04Speaker 5: We get this catog every once in a while. You
- 53:05Speaker 5: look through it in the most basic stuff like that
- 53:07Speaker 5: is the trillion dollars gate, the front Gate.
- 53:10Speaker 7: They wouldn't bother sending me junk mail.
- 53:12Speaker 5: Go on the website and check it out when you
- 53:14Speaker 5: get a chance.
- 53:14Speaker 3: Front Gate.
- 53:15Speaker 10: Okay, well my theme continues. Stuff you could find at
- 53:18Speaker 10: Home Goods for about twenty nine dollars. They have this
- 53:20Speaker 10: one section at home because it's all just throw blankets
- 53:22Speaker 10: and they're all on hangers. You just flip throw them
- 53:24Speaker 10: a little quick and find one. So you would probably
- 53:26Speaker 10: find a throw blanket such as this, just a striped
- 53:29Speaker 10: as basic over the sofa, you.
- 53:33Speaker 5: Know, someone, I'd kind of guess like a quilt looking
- 53:38Speaker 5: quality too.
- 53:38Speaker 10: Yeah, it almost looks like a rug. It is uh
- 53:41Speaker 10: fifty eight inches by eighty six inches, hand woven from
- 53:44Speaker 10: Italian cashmere. It's an extra large throw throw blanket that
- 53:48Speaker 10: keeps even the tallest frames covered head to toe.
- 53:52Speaker 5: Okay, okay, okay.
- 53:54Speaker 3: Can I tell you the Costco line please? Sixty bucks?
- 53:56Speaker 10: Sixty bucks? Yeah, all right, that's a good deal compared
- 53:59Speaker 10: to this one for three thousand and ninety five dollars.
- 54:05Speaker 7: Is it made of like Rapunzel hair?
- 54:07Speaker 5: Now people people are buying stuff from Goop they've got
- 54:11Speaker 5: to be absolutely I mean, do you buy it to
- 54:14Speaker 5: you you get like you know when you buy Tiffany,
- 54:16Speaker 5: you get the little blue right. People want the box,
- 54:19Speaker 5: they want the bag, they want like.
- 54:21Speaker 10: Or you want the h for on your throat.
- 54:23Speaker 5: Because Greg is mentioning like a lot of this stuff,
- 54:25Speaker 5: you would just think that somebody went to like a
- 54:27Speaker 5: home goods yeah and bought it. But you want someone
- 54:30Speaker 5: to know you got it from Google.
- 54:31Speaker 10: I would want to label on here that says this
- 54:33Speaker 10: blanket was four thousand dollars.
- 54:36Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, I did to give me one more
- 54:38Speaker 5: thing from This is from me. By the way, if
- 54:40Speaker 5: you're just tuning in, this is all stuff from me.
- 54:42Speaker 5: Twenty twenty five Goop Holiday Gift Guide, which is out
- 54:46Speaker 5: Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle brand, Goop, which is always known for
- 54:49Speaker 5: being affordable.
- 54:50Speaker 7: Yeah, well this one, I think again for the lady.
- 54:53Speaker 7: You know what this is for everybody. Okay, I'm showing
- 54:57Speaker 7: you a picture right now.
- 54:58Speaker 2: A rock.
- 54:58Speaker 7: It looks like a rock, like a river rock, but
- 55:01Speaker 7: it's not. It's a squishy pillow. Okay, it's a pillow.
- 55:05Speaker 7: It's like kind of a wedge shape. It's nothing special,
- 55:07Speaker 7: but taboos, wedge shape sex pillow props up your body
- 55:12Speaker 7: however you'd like it to, whether you're optimizing for comfort
- 55:16Speaker 7: or exploring new positions. It's switchable, it has some bounds,
- 55:20Speaker 7: so it moves with your body, and it looks right
- 55:22Speaker 7: at home on your bed when you're not using it.
- 55:25Speaker 3: Really, a rock looks at home on your veil.
- 55:27Speaker 7: So a pillow, you know, a pillow?
- 55:30Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, exactly, there's another pillow on here. It's a
- 55:34Speaker 5: throw pillow Greg that reads please leave by nine.
- 55:37Speaker 3: That's now that you can get for eighty two dollars,
- 55:41Speaker 3: change it to eight.
- 55:42Speaker 7: But yeah, this is one hundred and ninety five bucks.
- 55:44Speaker 7: But a bargain at any price for a sex pillow.
- 55:47Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 55:48Speaker 5: They also have for Greg a Gucci portable pet bed.
- 55:51Speaker 5: How much is it on goof and it's actual Gucci
- 55:57Speaker 5: pet bed? How about eighteen hundred? Eighteen hundred? No, it
- 56:02Speaker 5: didn't know, I would say. Taking notes of the bids.
- 56:07Speaker 3: I'm gonna say three three thousand.
- 56:10Speaker 5: It's a bargain at eight and fifty dollars.
- 56:13Speaker 10: Wow, is a good deal.
- 56:14Speaker 5: And you could also get some Himalayan Salt scalp scrub
- 56:18Speaker 5: shampoo that for fifty five dollars.
- 56:21Speaker 12: I'd like that.
- 56:21Speaker 2: Actually where you go.
- 56:23Speaker 5: We're looking to help you guys out.
- 56:25Speaker 7: You're welcome.
- 56:25Speaker 3: Every been shopping? Oh boy, how dumb?
- 56:28Speaker 10: Oh my god. Here I'm looking at that front gate
- 56:31Speaker 10: sight you told an yeah, I told you. A console
- 56:33Speaker 10: table and two tiny little end tables. Three thousand, three
- 56:37Speaker 10: hundred and fifty seven dollars they have.
- 56:39Speaker 3: I remember the one time I was looking through there,
- 56:41Speaker 3: they had it's just like a lounge chair for outside.
- 56:45Speaker 3: Did they have that on there?
- 56:46Speaker 10: Let's see?
- 56:47Speaker 5: Yeah, look the ones that have like the bigger kind
- 56:48Speaker 5: of like look like a wagon wheel, like toward the
- 56:51Speaker 5: where you know, where you lean back.
- 56:53Speaker 3: Against the Yeah, okay, yeah, did you have that on there?
- 56:57Speaker 7: While you're looking at that, why is this bath towel?
- 56:59Speaker 7: To one hundred and sixty two dollars? Oh my, it's
- 57:02Speaker 7: a towel.
- 57:02Speaker 10: Okay, did you find it? The one with the wheels
- 57:05Speaker 10: on the back. It's yeah, actually really really really ugly.
- 57:08Speaker 10: They have a price range twenty six hundred to forty
- 57:12Speaker 10: six hundred for.
- 57:14Speaker 5: One dollars for one for a lounge chair, not a car.
- 57:18Speaker 5: That lounge doesn't see in your house, your couch, but
- 57:21Speaker 5: doesn't cost that much. This is for one lounge chair
- 57:25Speaker 5: that goes out on the front gate.
- 57:26Speaker 3: I'm going to the clearance four thousand, six hundred dollars.
- 57:31Speaker 7: Are you scared for your safety?
- 57:33Speaker 4: That's a complicated question. So being here today, if I
- 57:35Speaker 4: say the wrong word, I can be charged with that's
- 57:37Speaker 4: a dollar. That's a complicated question. So being here today,
- 57:42Speaker 4: if I say the wrong word tiny, I can.
- 57:44Speaker 3: Be charged with doors And now back to the.
- 57:50Speaker 5: For into another new hour insensitivity training for a politically
- 57:55Speaker 5: correct world. Woodie, Greg Hey Menace, Yeah, Gina Sea Mass,
- 58:00Speaker 5: Sammy Morgan phones open eight seven four Woodie text us
- 58:07Speaker 5: check in over to two two nine eight seven. I
- 58:10Speaker 5: do have a topic based on something we just talked
- 58:13Speaker 5: about recently, and I want to see what you got
- 58:15Speaker 5: on it. But I'm gonna start with this. It's some
- 58:17Speaker 5: Christmas news for Sammy.
- 58:19Speaker 3: Okay.
- 58:20Speaker 5: After years of trying to open candy canes without breaking.
- 58:24Speaker 10: Them, h.
- 58:27Speaker 5: Someone to struggle, someone's finally invented away to help out.
- 58:30Speaker 5: Greg So brock Candy, you know brox Oh yeah, oh,
- 58:36Speaker 5: they have come out with this official candy cane opener
- 58:40Speaker 5: and it's a it's real simple to use. Apparently it's
- 58:42Speaker 5: just a small opener that fits in your hand, and
- 58:44Speaker 5: all you have to do is stick the long part
- 58:47Speaker 5: of the candy cane inside the opener and it will
- 58:50Speaker 5: cut the wrapper open for you. You can find it
- 58:55Speaker 5: the Caneopener dot com. Okay, the cane Opener dot com
- 59:00Speaker 5: five bucks and comes with a box of candy canes.
- 59:05Speaker 3: What a deal.
- 59:07Speaker 13: That's a great deal.
- 59:08Speaker 5: Pencil and it doubles as a Christmas ornament when you're
- 59:12Speaker 5: not using it. So if you hang, do you hang
- 59:14Speaker 5: uh candy canes on the tree?
- 59:17Speaker 12: I do not.
- 59:18Speaker 3: You don't eat my wife? My wife does that. I
- 59:20Speaker 3: think it's kind of trash.
- 59:23Speaker 10: If you need filler. Yeah, but if you were to
- 59:28Speaker 10: live another ten thousand years, would you have one candy cane?
- 59:31Speaker 10: Does anybody about candy?
- 59:33Speaker 2: My kids?
- 59:34Speaker 7: My kids eat them, especially peppermint ones that are.
- 59:37Speaker 3: Like fruit flavor, like the little mini ones are cool.
- 59:40Speaker 3: And then all for hanging. Yeah, I don't think on
- 59:43Speaker 3: the tree, but like on I don't know if you
- 59:45Speaker 3: have a fireplace or something like that. The decor right
- 59:47Speaker 3: there is cool. What do you mean candy canes like decoration?
- 59:51Speaker 13: Yeah? Or I'll put them in a little kind of
- 59:52Speaker 13: jar thing and have them hooked around the edge.
- 59:54Speaker 3: It's normal at the.
- 59:56Speaker 10: End of Christmas. Throw them out. Yes, it's like sucking
- 59:58Speaker 10: on toothpaste.
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: The kids, the kids eat them.
- 1:00:02Speaker 10: You're right.
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: The fruit flavored one, just the original like red and
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: white ones. The kids, the kids eat those.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: The fruit flavor is so good.
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: Yeah, those are the only good ones.
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: Those are not dog like.
- 1:00:14Speaker 11: The opener is great though, because because kids do get
- 1:00:17Speaker 11: very disappointed if you.
- 1:00:18Speaker 13: Go to open the candy cane and it breaks.
- 1:00:20Speaker 7: They're like, oh, all right, but this is not an ornament.
- 1:00:23Speaker 7: This is an ugly pencil sharpener.
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: Okay, So saying with the candy thing, Gina was mentioning about, like,
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: you know, when you went trig or treating, some parents
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: would take the kids to the emergency room to the hospital,
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: not because somebody got hurt or poisoned, I don't know,
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: you would bring your candy so they could X ray it.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: All.
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: Getting Peggy's minivan, my mom.
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: Had told, you know me, like, don't eat the candy
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: before you get home and I have a chance to
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: look at it. Because that was in the height of
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: this is like the eighties panic where everybody's taking their
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: people are putting staples now also at that point that
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: was still in the era where people were giving like
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: homemade or home baked things, so popcorn balls, little little
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: like sandwich baggies of like cookies and things like candy
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: apple that stuff. We were never allowed to eat and
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: quite honestly never even thought to eat those things because
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: you wanted the actual candy, yeah, the trash, but no
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: one was putting stuff in like a Hershey bar or
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: peanut butter cup kind of thing exactly. So this just
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: goes into the whole idea of there's some really paranoid
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: parents out there, and you just look at the difference.
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: You know, I'm forty nine years old, so my era,
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: the gen X era, compared to the like the younger
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: millennials and gen Z like that side. Older millennials, you
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: guys are more more gen X in this way where
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: the parents weren't nearly as consumed with knowing every minute
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: of their child's day and what they're doing and where
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: they're at in that exact moment as it is now,
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: there's way more I don't know what they called it.
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: It used to be like helicopter parents.
- 1:02:07Speaker 7: Yea, and snowplow parents.
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: But there are some paranoid parents out there.
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I think like the generation that we grew up
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: in definitely paranoid millennial. Like I feel like parents want
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: to be best friends.
- 1:02:21Speaker 10: With their kids.
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: Do you think our parents were paranoid? Yeah, I think
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: it's the opposite.
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: Goes back and forth, Like remember there were commercials saying
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: it's ten o'clock, do you know your children?
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: They didn't know where I'm like, well, I'm slightly younger
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: than you, just like by a hair and I'm in
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: that weird like analog technology era that they say that,
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: which is a different generation. And then I'm telling you, like,
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: my uh parents super paranoid?
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: Well, I think it's I think it's your parents. I
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: think in general it wasn't like that. Even in that area,
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: it wasn't like that.
- 1:02:54Speaker 7: But all the boogeyman stuff like the candy or the
- 1:02:57Speaker 7: white van, like they had random stuff they would focus on,
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: and otherwise they didn't know where we were there.
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: I grew up and they had like you know, the
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: Zodiac Killer and like all like soccer.
- 1:03:08Speaker 5: So here here's the question. I'm throwing this out and
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: you guys can text in call in eight seven seven
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: forty four. Woody text over to two two nine eighty seven.
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: Did you have a paranoid like did you have a
- 1:03:21Speaker 5: paranoid parent? Do you know a paranoid parent? Like, oh,
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: my sister is so whatever that is? Or are you
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: a paranoid parent? Admit it so one of one of
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: the three if you if you have an example to share,
- 1:03:36Speaker 5: did you have a paranoid parent? And what made them
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: so paranoid? Do you know a paranoid parent? Or are
- 1:03:44Speaker 5: you a paranoid parent? And probably more so?
- 1:03:48Speaker 10: And I don't know this, I don't love kids, but
- 1:03:49Speaker 10: with the first child more than child, that's the way
- 1:03:53Speaker 10: usually does because so like when my brother was a baby,
- 1:03:56Speaker 10: if he so much has just brushed his pacifier on
- 1:03:59Speaker 10: anything other and just holding it up, like if it
- 1:04:02Speaker 10: fell on the floor, my mom would boil it, death,
- 1:04:05Speaker 10: boil it with me. I could drop it in a
- 1:04:08Speaker 10: pile of dog crap, true, and just pick it up,
- 1:04:10Speaker 10: wipe it on your pants, and throw it in your mouth.
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: Yeah, that's that's that's true. It's the first child, yeah,
- 1:04:16Speaker 5: eight seven seven forty four Woody paranoid parents? Are you
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: a paranoid parent? Did you have a paranoid parent?
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: Or do you know one?
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: And uh, what are they doing that that makes you
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: say that they're paranoid.
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: Yeah, I want to hear this hit us up.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: We'll get to those coming up next year in the
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: Woody Show. Hang on the wood Shows. Right after these
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: messages and they're on there.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: Breaking news.
- 1:04:44Speaker 9: Greg Gory had to take a major out at work.
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: Not since the fall of Rome has there been this
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: much devastation.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: More death, Woody, Woody wood.
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: And now back to the Woody Show.
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: Paranoid parents. Now, somebody was asking Gina, did the mom
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: have some kind of hook up at the hospital. Now,
- 1:05:07Speaker 5: the hospitals there were, you know how like a dentist's
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: office will do that, like right after Halloween they'll say, oh,
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: you can trade your candy and beer for a big brush.
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: I did hear about local hospitals from time to time
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: saying that it was but I never thought anybody actually
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: did it. But yeah, oh no, that was Yeah, that
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: was Gina's friend's mom that would get all the girls
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: together and bring them down there. All right, So are
- 1:05:31Speaker 5: you a paranoid parent? Did you have a paranoid parent
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: or do you just know of a paranoid parent? And
- 1:05:37Speaker 5: what makes them so paranoid? Eight seven seven forty four
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: Woody is the phone number. Text us over to two
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: two nine eighty seven. Katie is first to Hey, what's
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: up Katie and.
- 1:05:47Speaker 12: Katie, Hi, good morning.
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: So who's the paranoid parent you or you got one?
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: Now?
- 1:05:55Speaker 12: I probably was a paranoid parent when my kids were younger,
- 1:05:57Speaker 12: but once I turned eighteen, as I go have it.
- 1:06:00Speaker 12: My son is in his twenties and dates a gal
- 1:06:03Speaker 12: that's twenty two and her mother still requires her to
- 1:06:07Speaker 12: get home during the week by nine pm and on
- 1:06:09Speaker 12: the weekend by ten pm.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: She's twenty two.
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: How does that work?
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: I mean, if she lives in my house, she goes
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: by my rule. Yeah, maybe pretty much.
- 1:06:18Speaker 12: That's probably how it is. And the thing that makes
- 1:06:20Speaker 12: me giggle is that her brothers have girlfriends that live
- 1:06:23Speaker 12: in the house. They've kind of told mom no, no,
- 1:06:26Speaker 12: you know, and they've tried to tell her, tell mom,
- 1:06:28Speaker 12: knock it off, you know. But she's just very respectful,
- 1:06:32Speaker 12: I'm going to say, of her mom. But it just
- 1:06:35Speaker 12: it's so stressful for them.
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: On a date, Wait, how long has.
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: We go to a restaurant?
- 1:06:40Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: How long has your son been with this chick?
- 1:06:43Speaker 12: A year?
- 1:06:44Speaker 10: Cutting?
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: Run? Yeah?
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: Wait, what time does she have to be home again
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: nine nine nine.
- 1:06:49Speaker 12: During the week ten on the weekend. I mean if
- 1:06:51Speaker 12: she came go to a concert one time and she
- 1:06:53Speaker 12: got home at one.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: Oh, is she in school or by chance or anything
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: like that?
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: Is just twenty two man, she works.
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: Just ask him. Maybe she's getting a master's or something.
- 1:07:05Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 1:07:05Speaker 7: Rent too, it's always oh, that's not cool. It's always
- 1:07:08Speaker 7: different with the girls too, Like you said, like the
- 1:07:10Speaker 7: guys like come and go, the girls on lockdown.
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: Yeah, but also you you gotta be kids. You gotta
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: be careful.
- 1:07:15Speaker 12: And she's the first girl, and I just think mommy's
- 1:07:18Speaker 12: afraid to let that.
- 1:07:20Speaker 5: That's a little bit that stuff rubs up. That's why
- 1:07:22Speaker 5: they say, like you want to see what your future
- 1:07:24Speaker 5: looks like when you're dating somebody, look at the mother, right,
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: So like that kind of crazy might be genetic.
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: I got.
- 1:07:32Speaker 12: He loves her dually and the family's all great, all
- 1:07:34Speaker 12: of them.
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: It's just just the mother.
- 1:07:36Speaker 5: Just yeah, all right, Katie, thank you for the call.
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: Appreciate listening The Woodie Show.
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: Forty four. What he sent us a text over to
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: two two nine eighty seven one. On the text, is
- 1:07:48Speaker 5: my sister in law such a paranoid parent. She went
- 1:07:50Speaker 5: to her daughter's prom, waited for her in the parking lot,
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: also went with her on the senior trip, and she
- 1:07:56Speaker 5: still cuts her food for her. She's nineteen years ago.
- 1:08:00Speaker 7: Is so psychological problem, that's like a mental illness, right.
- 1:08:04Speaker 13: Yes, that's horrifying.
- 1:08:05Speaker 10: Cuts her food.
- 1:08:08Speaker 7: Is the other girl, not of hands.
- 1:08:11Speaker 10: That is horror movie kind of stuff.
- 1:08:13Speaker 5: If she texts, my mom wouldn't let me ride those
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: little horses outside the grocery store that were electric. She
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: was afraid they would blow up.
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: That's a reasonable fear of shirt.
- 1:08:30Speaker 5: I mean, my wife's pushing fifty and her dad like
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: she'll go with the kids to go visit her parents
- 1:08:37Speaker 5: and she'll be going to meet like her cousins for
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: dinner or something like that, and her dad will insist
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: that she calls when she gets to her location.
- 1:08:46Speaker 7: Yeah, I gets.
- 1:08:47Speaker 10: I don't think that's weird.
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: It's weird.
- 1:08:49Speaker 10: I don't think that's weird.
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: I think it's nice.
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: But it's nice to say. But like he truly means it,
- 1:08:55Speaker 5: because if if enough time goes by, he'll call her
- 1:08:59Speaker 5: and go eight, did you make it serious?
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: Seriously?
- 1:09:04Speaker 10: I support it.
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: I'm in my forties deep, and I've gone home to
- 1:09:09Speaker 7: see my mom a billion times and I've never been allowed.
- 1:09:13Speaker 7: It's been heavily discouraged that I rent a car if
- 1:09:16Speaker 7: I need to go somewhere, she has to take me.
- 1:09:18Speaker 13: WHOA, Yeah, but just because she wants to be with you,
- 1:09:21Speaker 13: I don't know.
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: I guess because I have families like that. They just
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: want to, you know, be hanging out with them. Okay,
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: she's not like I'll just run a car.
- 1:09:29Speaker 10: No, this one.
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: My daughter is a ninth grader and has a friend
- 1:09:32Speaker 5: whose mom thinks that she takes her mask off, she
- 1:09:34Speaker 5: will instantly get COVID. Really still, so this girl has
- 1:09:39Speaker 5: to wear a mask every day of her life, no
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: matter where she is. Ever since COVID started, she's never
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: allowed to go anywhere with her friends. My daughter had
- 1:09:46Speaker 5: a birthday a few years back, and the mom said
- 1:09:50Speaker 5: that she couldn't go to the party because she wouldn't
- 1:09:52Speaker 5: be able.
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: To take her mask off. There stop it.
- 1:09:55Speaker 5: She's ruining her daughter's childhood and doesn't even know it.
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: Yeah, that's it's crazy.
- 1:10:00Speaker 7: That's the candy want to be right right?
- 1:10:04Speaker 10: Yeah that sounds normal.
- 1:10:05Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm a paranoid parent because I know what the
- 1:10:09Speaker 5: hell I did when I was younger, so I know
- 1:10:11Speaker 5: the possibilities.
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: True, I mean, we all do.
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: We all did stuff. It's why I have to have
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: a conversation with my wife every once in a while
- 1:10:19Speaker 5: to remind her of that stuff. And then then my
- 1:10:20Speaker 5: wife says, well, I was a good kid. I'm like, Okay,
- 1:10:23Speaker 5: I'm sure everything you did your parents were aware of.
- 1:10:26Speaker 5: You never did anything that your parents. I can think
- 1:10:28Speaker 5: of a couple things that I know about that her
- 1:10:30Speaker 5: parents have no idea. Yeah, so you know, not that
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: she was like a bad kid, but nobody was an angel.
- 1:10:38Speaker 7: I was damn near perfect. But I was smoking a
- 1:10:41Speaker 7: ton of weed at like fifteen. I don't think my
- 1:10:43Speaker 7: mom would have liked that.
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: Hey, what's up what you show?
- 1:10:46Speaker 5: A friend wouldn't let her son, her son's one high
- 1:10:50Speaker 5: school age and another one just a little bit younger,
- 1:10:53Speaker 5: cook or shower when they were home alone. Okay, well,
- 1:10:57Speaker 5: I'm for fear of an accident shower.
- 1:11:00Speaker 10: Depending on the age. That makes sense.
- 1:11:02Speaker 7: Yeah, that's that's insane.
- 1:11:06Speaker 5: Like you can get a job working food somewhere at
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: the fryar.
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: Yeah, but you know you probably have some of the
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: family members you're like, you know what, you shouldn't be cooking.
- 1:11:14Speaker 7: By yourself at home in a shower. Oh my god.
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: Let's see, had a friend growing up whose mom was
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: super worried about someone kidnapping her. And she was a vet,
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: so she implanted a tracker in the back of her neck. Really,
- 1:11:30Speaker 5: I used to ask her to see it all the time.
- 1:11:32Speaker 5: She probably Here's the thing though, she probably told her
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: daughter that she did that because you know you can,
- 1:11:37Speaker 5: like you know you can, yeah, chip chip your cat, Yeah,
- 1:11:40Speaker 5: you chip a pet.
- 1:11:41Speaker 9: She probably told her that to make her think I
- 1:11:44Speaker 9: know where you are.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: That's what it was.
- 1:11:46Speaker 7: But that's a great idea.
- 1:11:48Speaker 5: Just tell them another text here it says, I am
- 1:11:52Speaker 5: twenty eight years old and my mom still has my
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: email password and we'll read through my emails.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: Yeah, but then you got to deal with that. It
- 1:12:03Speaker 3: depends on I know.
- 1:12:06Speaker 5: But like you know, some people go crazy and like
- 1:12:09Speaker 5: do you want the don't you really care?
- 1:12:11Speaker 7: Well, at that point, you just have a backup email,
- 1:12:13Speaker 7: and that's where all the good emails.
- 1:12:17Speaker 10: I have.
- 1:12:18Speaker 5: I know a paranoid parent that won't let their kid
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: eat strawberries because of the levels of pesticide residue.
- 1:12:23Speaker 7: Oh I know I have one of those parents. I
- 1:12:27Speaker 7: know one of those parents, and they only when they're baking.
- 1:12:31Speaker 7: They won't use food coloring, to only use like beat
- 1:12:34Speaker 7: juice and die.
- 1:12:36Speaker 5: YEAHO got in the big argument with his wife years
- 1:12:40Speaker 5: ago because he gave I think it was his son.
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: He gave him like a single freedo and she lost
- 1:12:44Speaker 5: her mind and he's like, you know what, and he
- 1:12:46Speaker 5: like he like left the house and took a walk
- 1:12:47Speaker 5: around the neighborhood and barefoot, got so heated.
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: I'm not one freedom one one free right.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:12:58Speaker 5: Another text came in said that when I was growing up,
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: my mom used to make me take a pregnancy test
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: once every two weeks.
- 1:13:05Speaker 7: That's not okay unless you're a megaslore.
- 1:13:07Speaker 13: Yeah, that's weird and invasive.
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know why.
- 1:13:13Speaker 5: I like, in other words, I know, why make sure
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: she's not pregnant, but like, like, why did you decide
- 1:13:19Speaker 5: to do that in the first place, Well, to.
- 1:13:21Speaker 13: Not trust your kid that much, I don't know. It's weird.
- 1:13:25Speaker 13: Kids are not taking to imply it is like Gina said,
- 1:13:27Speaker 13: implying that she's a whore.
- 1:13:28Speaker 7: Basically, she maybe she had scare and that's that.
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: With mom.
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: Well, I mean, who's going to be taking care of
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: that kid is the question? Sure, but they end up
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: having one.
- 1:13:39Speaker 13: Control and other things.
- 1:13:41Speaker 10: Is this paranoia or is this yeah? Control?
- 1:13:46Speaker 6: It is very control.
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: A lot of stuff about like people putting your favorites
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: the air tags and yeah, but do they know how
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: to use them?
- 1:13:54Speaker 5: Said this this one mom will just refresh, Like they'll
- 1:13:56Speaker 5: be sitting there at coffee and just refresh, refresh, refresh,
- 1:14:00Speaker 5: like constantly looking.
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: They just don't have a kid. I don't know.
- 1:14:03Speaker 5: Well, so you know, we went through a thing where
- 1:14:08Speaker 5: you know, we had to get the mommy daddy phone,
- 1:14:10Speaker 5: you know, for my son and like, but that was
- 1:14:12Speaker 5: a reaction to something and that is not a foreverything
- 1:14:17Speaker 5: plan that we have, Like I would rather things not
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: be that way. So I do understand that there are
- 1:14:22Speaker 5: some circumstances, like that pregnancy test thing, like did she
- 1:14:25Speaker 5: get knocked up? Probably something happened, so now the mom's
- 1:14:28Speaker 5: worried about that happening.
- 1:14:29Speaker 7: Again, that's the only thing I could justify it.
- 1:14:31Speaker 5: Yeah, if it was just like out of nowhere because
- 1:14:33Speaker 5: she was doing certain things when she was a kid
- 1:14:35Speaker 5: and now she's putting this on her that's different. My
- 1:14:39Speaker 5: seven year old wants to play outside in the backyard,
- 1:14:42Speaker 5: but his friend. The mom refuses because somebody might walk
- 1:14:47Speaker 5: by and see you and you would get kidnapped. So
- 1:14:50Speaker 5: the mom has to be outside otherwise the kid can't
- 1:14:54Speaker 5: be outside. This goes back to it's ten pm. Do
- 1:14:57Speaker 5: you know where your kids are?
- 1:14:58Speaker 7: Nobody wants your mangy kid.
- 1:15:00Speaker 5: My My mom was single mom, and she was working
- 1:15:03Speaker 5: full time, going to school full time. So what are
- 1:15:06Speaker 5: they called latchkey kid? Okay, So I remember I had
- 1:15:09Speaker 5: a key to our apartment on a string that was
- 1:15:12Speaker 5: around my neck.
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: Yeh.
- 1:15:14Speaker 5: I was eight years old, and I would let myself
- 1:15:17Speaker 5: into the apartment after school, get off the bus, let
- 1:15:19Speaker 5: myself into the apartment, and then drop my stuff off
- 1:15:22Speaker 5: and go outside.
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: With my friends. I'm eight, yeah, you know.
- 1:15:25Speaker 5: And my mom wouldn't get home from work until like
- 1:15:27Speaker 5: regular getting in and getting home from work time, and
- 1:15:30Speaker 5: that was it. I would, you know, come in and
- 1:15:32Speaker 5: get dark, I lock the door. I need to do that,
- 1:15:35Speaker 5: and everything was fine.
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: Yea.
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: Where there was like a.
- 1:15:40Speaker 5: There there was a mom who let their kid, we
- 1:15:44Speaker 5: talked about it, let their kid go to the park. Yeah,
- 1:15:47Speaker 5: and someone called the cops and she got in trouble, she.
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: Got arrested. Yeah, so stupid. My parents would be in
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: prison right now.
- 1:15:57Speaker 5: My mother in law wipes down every grocery eye with
- 1:16:00Speaker 5: disinfecting wipes and then makes the family washhands before touching anything.
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: I remember when you were talking about the last key
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: kid thing, and that was like me in fifth grade
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: and we'll be jumping off the roof and stuff. Oh, totally,
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: so many things. It was the best.
- 1:16:16Speaker 5: Another text over to two two ninety seven. My mom,
- 1:16:19Speaker 5: my mom had my now husband signay quote contract with
- 1:16:22Speaker 5: rules to follow while we date it.
- 1:16:25Speaker 3: I'm sure how old were you when we started dating?
- 1:16:27Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:16:28Speaker 10: Worth it?
- 1:16:29Speaker 5: Oh yeah the unapproved friends list. I've heard about this
- 1:16:33Speaker 5: where the kid has to have an approved friend list.
- 1:16:36Speaker 5: We knew somebody that did this, and so let's just
- 1:16:40Speaker 5: say menace right, Yeah, I'm your dad. You would have
- 1:16:45Speaker 5: to give me your approved friends list, and so whoever
- 1:16:48Speaker 5: you were hanging out with had to be on that list.
- 1:16:50Speaker 5: If there was a person who's going to be there
- 1:16:51Speaker 5: who wasn't on that list, I would have to know.
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: Because this parent was then going in looking at their
- 1:16:57Speaker 5: social media needed to make a phone call and talk
- 1:17:01Speaker 5: to the parents to know who the parents were and go, oh, so, uh,
- 1:17:05Speaker 5: how long have you guys lived around here? And would
- 1:17:07Speaker 5: ask questions what do you do for a living? Yeah,
- 1:17:09Speaker 5: interviewing the parents of the friend and so, guess who
- 1:17:13Speaker 5: never got invited to stuff? Yeah, exactly this person's kid
- 1:17:17Speaker 5: because it was the mom. The mom was nuts and
- 1:17:20Speaker 5: was like interviewing interviewing potential friends parents. Imagine you were
- 1:17:24Speaker 5: new to the neighborhood. Yeah, imagine your steps on makes
- 1:17:27Speaker 5: a friend and now the mom's calling you to interrogate you,
- 1:17:30Speaker 5: to make sure that it's fine, you know.
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: Yeah, you and Andy are fine before the kid, Yeah,
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: oh my god, not taking the kid out of town.
- 1:17:39Speaker 7: Yeah, we don't want your dumb kid.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:42Speaker 5: Eight seven seven forty four. Woody hit us up with
- 1:17:44Speaker 5: the text over to two two nine eight seven. Thank
- 1:17:47Speaker 5: you everybody. Yeah, some crazy people out there. Yeah, sometimes
- 1:17:51Speaker 5: it makes you feel normal. Or or if you if
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: you thought you had like a really strict pair out
- 1:17:55Speaker 5: like dude, Yeah, not as bad as I thought.
- 1:17:58Speaker 10: Getting your food cut up heroin.
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: So call Sports with the Gems.
- 1:18:07Speaker 10: Jeff cum Hey, good.
- 1:18:09Speaker 16: Morning, Jeff g good morning, what you Good morning, squad.
- 1:18:12Speaker 16: Let's go ahead, and start with the Kings. They beat
- 1:18:14Speaker 16: the Canadians last night five to one. Got the Kings
- 1:18:18Speaker 16: in Maple Leafs tomorrow. Ducks lost to the Apps last night.
- 1:18:21Speaker 16: They got the Red Wings tomorrow.
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: Got some Dodger news.
- 1:18:24Speaker 16: According to a report, Dodgers will be aggressive this offseason.
- 1:18:28Speaker 16: They freed up eighty seven million dollars with Kershaw retiring
- 1:18:31Speaker 16: conforto ct three and Yates coming off the books as well.
- 1:18:34Speaker 16: No surprise, The article said, the Dodgers will focus on
- 1:18:37Speaker 16: the top end closer as they look to three pts
- 1:18:40Speaker 16: World champs NBA Lakers in Oklahoma City tonight, six thirty start.
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: OKC comes in at eleven and one. Lakers are eight
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: and three.
- 1:18:48Speaker 16: You know, Luca always does really well against the thunder
- 1:18:51Speaker 16: Lakers are seven and a half point underdogs.
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: You might want to jump on that and take the Lakers.
- 1:18:56Speaker 16: Speaking of Luca, the GM that traded Luca to the
- 1:18:59Speaker 16: Lakers got fired yesterday. The fire Nico chance got a
- 1:19:03Speaker 16: little too loud in Dallas and they finally pulled the trigger.
- 1:19:05Speaker 16: Got basketball here in Southern California tonight as well. Joker
- 1:19:08Speaker 16: and the Nuggets at the into It Dome taking all
- 1:19:10Speaker 16: the Clippers Clippers are trying to avoid their sixth loss
- 1:19:13Speaker 16: in the row, and since we're talking NBA, they're changing
- 1:19:16Speaker 16: up the All Star format. Thank goodness, it was hella boring.
- 1:19:19Speaker 16: So now it's basically gonna be USA versus the World.
- 1:19:23Speaker 16: Two teams of US All Stars and one team of
- 1:19:26Speaker 16: World All Star players playing in a round robin format.
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: Eight players on each team.
- 1:19:32Speaker 16: So theoretically it'll be like Lebron, Steph and Katie and
- 1:19:35Speaker 16: Jalen Brunson versus Giannis, Joker, Luca, Sga and Wemby. I'm
- 1:19:40Speaker 16: not gonna lie Woody show. I'm taking the world in
- 1:19:42Speaker 16: this tournament. All Star Weekend is coming up in February
- 1:19:45Speaker 16: at the Into It Dome. I'm Jeff g and Sokal sports.
- 1:19:48Speaker 3: All right, Jeff, no Woody show text Dan two.
- 1:20:00Speaker 5: All have been doing Paranoid Parents. Our little conversation I
- 1:20:03Speaker 5: read for the break and thank you again for all
- 1:20:05Speaker 5: the the feedback. People still text in a couple of things.
- 1:20:08Speaker 5: This one says, I have a friend who's such a
- 1:20:10Speaker 5: helicopter mom and does everything for her kids that she's
- 1:20:13Speaker 5: made them useless. They're now young adults don't know how
- 1:20:16Speaker 5: to do anything for themselves. And she gets mad at
- 1:20:19Speaker 5: them for having to do everything.
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:20:21Speaker 7: Yeah, that's the way they like it.
- 1:20:22Speaker 5: They can't function society, can't get a job, just completely
- 1:20:26Speaker 5: useless kids.
- 1:20:28Speaker 7: I love when they keep their kids. They keep them dependent, like, oh,
- 1:20:32Speaker 7: I have to do everything right, why do you get
- 1:20:34Speaker 7: as bach?
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: Yeah, bitch, Hey, what do the show?
- 1:20:38Speaker 5: My mom thought I was baby napped at the hospital
- 1:20:40Speaker 5: when I was born because I was missing for a
- 1:20:42Speaker 5: few hours. But it was a nurse that was showing
- 1:20:45Speaker 5: me off to the other patients and staff.
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: Can you do that?
- 1:20:48Speaker 5: They were so traumatized, so she always has to know
- 1:20:50Speaker 5: where I am constantly.
- 1:20:52Speaker 3: Wait, sodam, that was the nurse. Yeah, it was probably
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: from the eighties or something.
- 1:20:58Speaker 10: That's weird.
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: Back in the day, you could do that kind of stuff.
- 1:21:01Speaker 3: Now that they keep them like under locking key right
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: as they should, I would think. Hope.
- 1:21:08Speaker 5: My boyfriend only eats chicken that's cut up. His mom
- 1:21:12Speaker 5: used to cut his chicken up, and now he doesn't
- 1:21:14Speaker 5: eat anything with a bone in it. It's got to
- 1:21:16Speaker 5: be cut up. He's damn near forty. Wow, see you
- 1:21:19Speaker 5: ruin your kids? Yeah, this paranoid, it's gonna make them paranoid.
- 1:21:22Speaker 5: People they're gonna do that to their kids.
- 1:21:24Speaker 3: It's a cycle.
- 1:21:24Speaker 7: And that's why I make the kid cut up his
- 1:21:26Speaker 7: own food because I go, I don't want you on
- 1:21:28Speaker 7: a date in six years and they're like, I really
- 1:21:30Speaker 7: like you, but you don't know how to use a knife.
- 1:21:32Speaker 3: Right, Like that's so weird.
- 1:21:34Speaker 5: You see somebody who like doesn't understand how a knife works,
- 1:21:38Speaker 5: and you would think it'd be self explanatory, but they'll
- 1:21:40Speaker 5: take a butter knife. They're just a regular old, you know,
- 1:21:44Speaker 5: butter knife, and they're like barely using any kind of
- 1:21:48Speaker 5: like pressure or force. Sight, Like what do you think
- 1:21:51Speaker 5: this is like a haibaji chef knife? Like yeah, what
- 1:21:54Speaker 5: are you doing? They look like oh yeah, Or they
- 1:21:56Speaker 5: don't know how to hold it.
- 1:21:57Speaker 3: They don't have like.
- 1:21:58Speaker 10: That's what I judge rown adult who grasps it in
- 1:22:02Speaker 10: the fist and they hold it, just grip it.
- 1:22:09Speaker 5: In Florida, this is the opposite of helicopter parents. A
- 1:22:12Speaker 5: pair of parents they were out enjoying the beach with
- 1:22:15Speaker 5: their kids. They were on a family vacation. They had
- 1:22:17Speaker 5: finally gotten there. Six month old to fall asleep, so
- 1:22:20Speaker 5: the parents like, ah, perfect time to go out on
- 1:22:24Speaker 5: a walk and that walk went for over an hour,
- 1:22:29Speaker 5: and the baby was just there on the beach, sitting
- 1:22:34Speaker 5: out on the beach, this little baby. So other people
- 1:22:37Speaker 5: at the beach they noticed this kid just chilling, so
- 1:22:39Speaker 5: they called the cops because the parents there's no adults around.
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: It's just this.
- 1:22:42Speaker 7: Baby left abandoned on a.
- 1:22:45Speaker 5: Blanket like a towel or whatever they had sitting out
- 1:22:48Speaker 5: on the beach, just sitting there.
- 1:22:50Speaker 7: Oh my god.
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: I think they were hoping some of the would take
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: that baby.
- 1:22:53Speaker 5: So when the parents came back, the police were waiting
- 1:22:56Speaker 5: for them. They had a lot of questions. The parents
- 1:22:58Speaker 5: explained that they just lost track of time, didn't realize
- 1:23:00Speaker 5: how long they've been gone. But I mean, either way,
- 1:23:02Speaker 5: you just can't leave the baby.
- 1:23:03Speaker 7: Totally forgot we had a baby lost.
- 1:23:06Speaker 5: They were they were arrested, charged with child neglect and yeah,
- 1:23:10Speaker 5: so they're they're having to go through all that now.
- 1:23:12Speaker 7: Yeah, it's fair a walk.
- 1:23:14Speaker 10: Yeah, it's just.
- 1:23:16Speaker 5: When you think you're a terrible parent, or you think
- 1:23:18Speaker 5: you're like, oh man, am I messing this am I
- 1:23:20Speaker 5: messing this kid up? You hear these other stories, you know,
- 1:23:22Speaker 5: from either paranoid parents or about stuff.
- 1:23:25Speaker 7: Like that, Right that depends did you leave them on
- 1:23:26Speaker 7: the beach?
- 1:23:27Speaker 3: I think I think we're doing all right. Yeah eight
- 1:23:29Speaker 3: seven seven forty four. Woulding text us over to two
- 1:23:32Speaker 3: two nine eight seven.
- 1:23:33Speaker 5: I feel like this is more for people who the
- 1:23:35Speaker 5: next step would be drinking hand sanitiz Yeah, woody show.
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: I guess what.
- 1:23:42Speaker 5: I guess what came through on the email yesterday.
- 1:23:45Speaker 10: You guys.
- 1:23:47Speaker 5: Are tickets to Dubai.
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: Yeah really really so, I mean it's it's official official.
- 1:23:52Speaker 3: I couldn't believe it, almost crying, Yeah, like what this
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: is real? And you know it's funny.
- 1:23:58Speaker 5: I didn't even recognize it because it came from the
- 1:24:01Speaker 5: email and I'm constantly going through in the morning and
- 1:24:03Speaker 5: I had I had deleted it. Oh the way it
- 1:24:07Speaker 5: popped up, it looked like an advertisement. So I didn't
- 1:24:09Speaker 5: open it and read it. I just saw and I
- 1:24:11Speaker 5: delete delete and then it's got.
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: His like we did.
- 1:24:16Speaker 5: So I went back and I looked, and I go,
- 1:24:18Speaker 5: I didn't see it. So I reached out to the
- 1:24:20Speaker 5: to the chick who was booking the flights, and I said, hey,
- 1:24:25Speaker 5: I didn't I didn't get my chees. Oh you might
- 1:24:27Speaker 5: want to check the junk folder. And I go, oh,
- 1:24:29Speaker 5: not in there, wait, and then then then it dawned
- 1:24:32Speaker 5: on me. I'm like, maybe this is my error, and
- 1:24:36Speaker 5: I went back through and deleted there. It was our confirmation.
- 1:24:41Speaker 5: So Menace and myself and the in the winner that
- 1:24:45Speaker 5: was selected, we'll be doing our flight to Dubai first
- 1:24:48Speaker 5: class on Emirates and it's it's gonna happen that that
- 1:24:53Speaker 5: first weekend in December.
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and then the Yeah, the listener is super excited.
- 1:24:58Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:24:58Speaker 3: In a lot of communication, so I can't wait. Yeah,
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: do you pre choose your menu or your meals?
- 1:25:04Speaker 10: I don't know.

- 1:25:07Speaker 3: you updated on the on the entire thing. And of
- 1:25:09Speaker 3: course we're going to post a bunch video.
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: Is there full Wi fi the whole flight? Do we
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: know this? I have taken some international flights recently and
- 1:25:18Speaker 3: there was Wi Fi the whole time? So what assume honey? Yeah,
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: because now there's so much satellite, Thank you Elon.
- 1:25:24Speaker 10: You do have to reserve your shower time, right, yes?
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: Yeah, but I don't know when you do. I don't
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: know if you do that when you're on board or
- 1:25:30Speaker 3: you do that.
- 1:25:30Speaker 5: Before you get on board.
- 1:25:32Speaker 3: I don't know what.
- 1:25:33Speaker 7: I want to take a shower.
- 1:25:34Speaker 5: I might take a couple, because, like you know, I'll
- 1:25:38Speaker 5: take one shower on the plane, but that I'm gonna
- 1:25:40Speaker 5: be having so much time in the Emirates Lounge. I'm
- 1:25:41Speaker 5: pretty sure the Emirates Lounge offers up shower.
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: Maybe.
- 1:25:44Speaker 11: Do you know how many other people are like in
- 1:25:47Speaker 11: that first class area who will also be showering and.
- 1:25:49Speaker 9: Stuff now together?
- 1:25:52Speaker 3: I don't know, but I don't know. But I did
- 1:25:56Speaker 3: get my confirmation, and immediately I went to Greg, and
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: I know, Greg, sure you don't want to jump on
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: because it's only thirty two hours of.
- 1:26:06Speaker 9: You might need a shower because you might take a
- 1:26:07Speaker 9: big old nap and you're a full laid down bed
- 1:26:09Speaker 9: and you have bed head.
- 1:26:11Speaker 7: You might get caviar all over you.
- 1:26:13Speaker 10: Right, you never know.
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: No, I don't want to see first class suites. Okay?
- 1:26:19Speaker 3: Is that it in the A three? Is it the
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: A three eighty?
- 1:26:21Speaker 5: Right? Uh, let's see fourteen fourteen first class seats located
- 1:26:28Speaker 5: on the upper deck.
- 1:26:29Speaker 3: I've always wanted to be a.
- 1:26:31Speaker 5: Yeah, I've always wanted to be on a plane that
- 1:26:33Speaker 5: had an upper deck.
- 1:26:34Speaker 3: You know what, I bet it's so fancy. You can
- 1:26:36Speaker 3: even poop in the shower and you can handle it.
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: Can you imagine they have to turn the plane around
- 1:26:40Speaker 3: because somebody the.
- 1:26:43Speaker 9: Shower should be built such.
- 1:26:45Speaker 3: Too easily handle some petals. Yeah, I'm sure that's what
- 1:26:47Speaker 3: they have to side it for.
- 1:26:50Speaker 9: People have different cultures.
- 1:26:51Speaker 5: Yeah, Sonnis, you gotta be psyched right, Yeah, man, I'm
- 1:26:54Speaker 5: uh the dream come true from it.
- 1:26:56Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: We talked about again the early days of being here, uh,
- 1:27:00Speaker 3: of starting this show together, and when I wanted to
- 1:27:04Speaker 3: go to a concert. I mean they still kind of
- 1:27:06Speaker 3: do that too, where I was like, hey, can I
- 1:27:08Speaker 3: get tickets to our own concert? Like, oh no, we can't.
- 1:27:11Speaker 7: You know, the one I'm sorry, the one that we're
- 1:27:13Speaker 7: putting on.
- 1:27:13Speaker 3: Yeah, no, the one that's like labeled our company. No,
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: we can't put that in. Yeah.
- 1:27:19Speaker 5: Yeah, Greg just got denied on something.
- 1:27:21Speaker 15: No.
- 1:27:21Speaker 3: I wasn't denied, it was delayed. I just haven't heard back.
- 1:27:24Speaker 5: Yeah, for a show they can't sell tickets to to
- 1:27:27Speaker 5: save their life.
- 1:27:27Speaker 3: Yeah, but they're still advertising like crazy, Greg. If they
- 1:27:32Speaker 3: don't follow up, they're definitely not going to follow up.
- 1:27:34Speaker 10: Oh I did.
- 1:27:35Speaker 5: I followed up. And also the advice I gave to Greg.
- 1:27:37Speaker 5: And this goes for for anybody listening, Like wherever you are,
- 1:27:41Speaker 5: whatever you're trying to do, never go and ask a
- 1:27:44Speaker 5: question of a person who can't give you the yes.
- 1:27:48Speaker 5: Like if they have to go to somebody and ask,
- 1:27:50Speaker 5: you go to the person they have to ask.
- 1:27:51Speaker 10: For this specific thing. It's for a different station. So
- 1:27:54Speaker 10: I wasn't sure who to ask, and it's I never
- 1:27:56Speaker 10: asked for anything, so I was unaware. Yeah, I gave
- 1:27:59Speaker 10: it the name of the person and I followed up,
- 1:28:02Speaker 10: all right, cool, have you.
- 1:28:03Speaker 9: Guys run over like the secret things that are really
- 1:28:05Speaker 9: illegal in Dubai, Yeah, PDAs you.
- 1:28:09Speaker 3: Can't make out, Yeah, it won't matter to me. I'm
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: not even the airport.
- 1:28:14Speaker 5: The airport is it's you know, yeah, but I mean,
- 1:28:16Speaker 5: I'm going to walk off the plane. I'm going to
- 1:28:18Speaker 5: go directly to the Emirates Lounge.
- 1:28:20Speaker 3: Don't dance in public, I will I don't.
- 1:28:22Speaker 5: Dance anywhere, so the great there, Yeah, I'll be great.
- 1:28:25Speaker 5: I'll hang out in the Emirates Lounge and just wait
- 1:28:29Speaker 5: for boarding to get back on the plane. It leaves
- 1:28:32Speaker 5: like on a Friday afternoon, it gets back Sunday afternoon,
- 1:28:36Speaker 5: and in that time we would have gone to Dubai
- 1:28:38Speaker 5: and back, which is.
- 1:28:39Speaker 3: That's that's a hilarious.
- 1:28:41Speaker 9: They are a little more strict on photos in public
- 1:28:43Speaker 9: places man, so yeah, that could be affect you.
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: No rules, That's what everybody should do anyways, if you're
- 1:28:49Speaker 3: going to a foreign country, no matter where you're going,
- 1:28:52Speaker 3: like read up on you know what you can and
- 1:28:55Speaker 3: can't do.
- 1:28:56Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:28:57Speaker 10: Remember that time we had that food fighters event and
- 1:28:59Speaker 10: they wouldn't let us. I guess. So then medics started

- 1:29:19Speaker 7: I know you're planning on sleeping and your lay down beds,
- 1:29:22Speaker 7: but don't forget that even with all the fancy food
- 1:29:24Speaker 7: and like the amuz bouche and the caviar, they have
- 1:29:28Speaker 7: settled in for a movie night, like sliders and popcorns.
- 1:29:33Speaker 5: And chips the speech, but I'll take the sliders in
- 1:29:36Speaker 5: the popcast so good. Yeah, I'll bring the cevich in
- 1:29:39Speaker 5: the caviar home for Gregeah. Speaking of Greg, got some
- 1:29:43Speaker 5: after hours voicemails eight seven seven forty four, Woodie, here's one.
- 1:29:48Speaker 3: This is for you, Greg.
- 1:29:50Speaker 5: I calling in about Oh, Greg, you're so childless you
- 1:29:55Speaker 5: have time to make complaints about stuff like that.

- 1:30:00Speaker 7: knock on you being childless.
- 1:30:02Speaker 15: Well you know what, wood if you knock on you
- 1:30:04Speaker 15: being with child and still.
- 1:30:06Speaker 4: Too lazy to stand up for what's right in this world?
- 1:30:09Speaker 7: Come on, Greg, is so right?
- 1:30:10Speaker 12: Child or not child?
- 1:30:12Speaker 7: I've got two kids in a busy life, and I
- 1:30:14Speaker 7: still have time to stand.
- 1:30:16Speaker 5: Up for what's right.
- 1:30:16Speaker 12: This is a death what's up?
- 1:30:18Speaker 7: They were robbing money from Greg and all the other patrons,
- 1:30:22Speaker 7: and Greg did something about it.
- 1:30:23Speaker 12: Death. What's up?
- 1:30:24Speaker 3: Child or no child?
- 1:30:25Speaker 12: Everyone should have the time to stand up for it.
- 1:30:28Speaker 7: And also, Greg is stopping us from becoming idiocracy because.
- 1:30:32Speaker 5: We don't do that no more or whatever?
- 1:30:36Speaker 12: More?
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: Like?
- 1:30:36Speaker 5: Would you use standing up against that kind of stuff?
- 1:30:39Speaker 5: Is hopefully gonna try to make the world smarter by
- 1:30:42Speaker 5: not letting the stupids get away with stuff.
- 1:30:45Speaker 12: So you go, Greg, We love, do better better Woody
- 1:30:49Speaker 12: and everyone else and find out for Greg. Did you
- 1:30:52Speaker 12: know there's a place and Martha Vinyard it's called gay head.
- 1:31:00Speaker 3: Martha has been called gay check.
- 1:31:03Speaker 10: She loved woman.
- 1:31:04Speaker 5: She's calling in reference to when you know Greg went
- 1:31:07Speaker 5: after the grocery store and called the Department of Weights
- 1:31:10Speaker 5: and Measures because they kept over charging for the dog.
- 1:31:15Speaker 10: F and they did an under undercover investigation. A ton
- 1:31:19Speaker 10: of discrepancies. Yeah, And somebody pointed out rightly, so by
- 1:31:24Speaker 10: my doing that, I'm looking out for parents as well.
- 1:31:27Speaker 5: Right well, looking everybody for everything. I think it's good
- 1:31:30Speaker 5: that you did it. I would have just never. I
- 1:31:33Speaker 5: would have never taken the time.
- 1:31:34Speaker 10: Well, I wouldn't have noticed it happened to be a thousand.
- 1:31:37Speaker 3: Times, not necessarily.
- 1:31:39Speaker 5: I would have maybe at the grocery store, but to
- 1:31:41Speaker 5: take it to like an outside department, to the Department
- 1:31:45Speaker 5: of Weights and measures. He's not wrong in her in
- 1:31:48Speaker 5: her criticism of me. She's she's not wrong about that either.
- 1:31:51Speaker 5: Like I mean, I guess, I guess you should. It's
- 1:31:54Speaker 5: just I wouldn't.
- 1:31:55Speaker 9: That's another version of you know, evil triumphs when good
- 1:31:58Speaker 9: men do nothing, and competence triumphs.
- 1:32:01Speaker 3: When good.
- 1:32:01Speaker 9: Greg's do nothing, but he did something. Now to the
- 1:32:04Speaker 9: second part of a call about because the lady said
- 1:32:06Speaker 9: to you said, oh so, but you have this price
- 1:32:08Speaker 9: match thing, and she said to you, we don't do
- 1:32:10Speaker 9: that no more, which is she's right that you calling
- 1:32:15Speaker 9: that out on the air helps people out there.
- 1:32:17Speaker 7: Yeah, to name and shame.
- 1:32:18Speaker 9: But the next the next name, the next move is
- 1:32:21Speaker 9: to do it to her face where you would it
- 1:32:23Speaker 9: is what I would do, say, oh you mean we
- 1:32:24Speaker 9: don't do that anymore, We don't do that.
- 1:32:30Speaker 3: I admire people that have the nerve that could do
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: stuff like that. I can't.
- 1:32:33Speaker 9: Yeah, you's got to do it once. It's like it's
- 1:32:35Speaker 9: like anything. Once you break through the seal, do it
- 1:32:39Speaker 9: all the time. It's very satisfied.
- 1:32:40Speaker 5: I couldn't another after hours voicemail. This one is is
- 1:32:44Speaker 5: for Greg as well.
- 1:32:45Speaker 12: Hey, would he show to like half of you who
- 1:32:48Speaker 12: don't like eating alone? Guess what I'm about to do?
- 1:32:50Speaker 12: Eat alone?
- 1:32:51Speaker 7: What anyway?
- 1:32:53Speaker 12: I think it's one of the most romantic things. Oh
- 1:32:55Speaker 12: my gosh, there's a bug in my drink. I'm saying
- 1:32:59Speaker 12: this is one of the most romantic things. There's a
- 1:33:00Speaker 12: bug floating in my drink regardless. Oh that's for you, Greg. Anyways,
- 1:33:08Speaker 12: it's great and I really don't think you guys shouldnock
- 1:33:11Speaker 12: it so much.
- 1:33:12Speaker 7: Okay, well maybe in like an hour or two will
- 1:33:14Speaker 7: be calling back on the drunk style voicemail.
- 1:33:16Speaker 12: But hey, suck it, all of you. I love all
- 1:33:20Speaker 12: of you for real.
- 1:33:21Speaker 9: Bye.
- 1:33:23Speaker 5: She goes and eat alone and gets a bug in
- 1:33:26Speaker 5: or drink.
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: Greg.
- 1:33:29Speaker 3: There was there was a story jet this guy in
- 1:33:33Speaker 3: New Mexico.
- 1:33:34Speaker 5: He was arrested. He murdered two people, and they put
- 1:33:37Speaker 5: the cups on him, and uh, they were questioning. He
- 1:33:39Speaker 5: told the cops that he did what he had to
- 1:33:41Speaker 5: do and that he had been getting signs that he
- 1:33:44Speaker 5: had to end one of the victims before they ended him.
- 1:33:47Speaker 5: Now here's where I thought about Greg. He also claims
- 1:33:49Speaker 5: that he received an encrypted message in a cockroach and
- 1:33:53Speaker 5: then it told him that he needed to kill So
- 1:33:57Speaker 5: he got a message, an encrypted message from a cockroach.
- 1:34:00Speaker 5: Happens that somebody would be alive today because Greg would
- 1:34:05Speaker 5: have ran from that cockrod not listen to its instructions.
- 1:34:07Speaker 7: I don't care what you have to say, cockroach.
- 1:34:11Speaker 3: It wasn't that like that summer or sad thing. Wasn't
- 1:34:13Speaker 3: a dog talking to you?
- 1:34:14Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:34:15Speaker 3: What was the dog was like saying kill? I think
- 1:34:19Speaker 3: to that dude, Yeah.
- 1:34:21Speaker 5: Yeah, see that's not that's that's not fixable. Those are
- 1:34:24Speaker 5: the people you put down immediately, right.
- 1:34:25Speaker 2: I think.
- 1:34:26Speaker 9: I think women can eat alone romantically much more than
- 1:34:28Speaker 9: men can, because they'll get, you know, nice strangers to
- 1:34:30Speaker 9: walk up to them and keep them.
- 1:34:32Speaker 7: I don't want that I alone. Yeah, romantic if they
- 1:34:35Speaker 7: what if it's super hot guy, I don't care. I
- 1:34:36Speaker 7: don't like to sit at the bar. I just want
- 1:34:38Speaker 7: a table alone, like doing my own thing. I don't
- 1:34:41Speaker 7: want to like make conversations, right, yeah, exactly. I don't understand, like,
- 1:34:44Speaker 7: well you could sit at the bar alone, I don't.
- 1:34:46Speaker 3: I don't believe it. If it was a super hot
- 1:34:47Speaker 3: guy that you would not want a conversation with him.
- 1:34:51Speaker 5: You can use company. That's that's the difference. Like men
- 1:34:54Speaker 5: and women. If you want to go to the bar
- 1:34:56Speaker 5: by yourself, somebody would talk to you. If I want
- 1:34:59Speaker 5: to go s the bar by myself, ain't nobody talking
- 1:35:02Speaker 5: to me?
- 1:35:03Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:35:03Speaker 3: Nobody talked to me. Yeah, is anybody using this seat?
- 1:35:06Speaker 3: I mean no, I'm here alone.
- 1:35:08Speaker 10: I'm here alone.
- 1:35:10Speaker 5: I'm actually waiting for my coworker because I'm in town
- 1:35:12Speaker 5: on business business.
- 1:35:13Speaker 10: So tell me what's popular in this town.
- 1:35:16Speaker 2: The show.
- 1:35:20Speaker 3: Ratings come out every week, and if they're not good
- 1:35:22Speaker 3: or good, that's the.
- 1:35:26Speaker 2: Show.
- 1:35:28Speaker 5: And we got a dumb ass contest. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:35:31Speaker 5: boys and girls. Let's play the craiglist, right, yeah, yes,
- 1:35:36Speaker 5: let us all right, So Craigslist price is right? These
- 1:35:41Speaker 5: are things that will be being sold on Craigslist. I
- 1:35:44Speaker 5: will tell everybody about the item. I will ask somebody
- 1:35:46Speaker 5: in the studio to give me a bid on how
- 1:35:48Speaker 5: much they think it's being sold for on Craigslist. You,
- 1:35:51Speaker 5: as the contestant on the phone, just have to guess
- 1:35:53Speaker 5: is the actual Craigslist price higher or lower than the
- 1:35:56Speaker 5: bid that was given here by somebody in the studio.
- 1:35:58Speaker 5: And if you can do that correct, you're gonna the winner.
- 1:36:01Speaker 3: Eight Woodie is the phone number.

- 1:37:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:37:01Speaker 3: Whatever. Our co workers got one. It's so funny. She uh,
- 1:37:04Speaker 3: she was making fun of it because she tried to
- 1:37:06Speaker 3: put it in the holder in her car and it
- 1:37:08Speaker 3: doesn't fit.
- 1:37:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:37:11Speaker 9: The first world problem is your bear resta cup doesn't
- 1:37:13Speaker 9: fit down. You got this thing at a circus forty

- 1:37:19Speaker 11: Okay, if this is going to help them pay for Christmas,
- 1:37:22Speaker 11: I'm guessing that they think it's going to be very high.
- 1:37:25Speaker 13: We went over some we saw on eBay for like
- 1:37:27Speaker 13: tens of thousands of dollars. I'm gonna say this one
- 1:37:30Speaker 13: one thousand dollars.
- 1:37:31Speaker 5: One thousand bucks, rob Ali, Robbie, do you think the
- 1:37:34Speaker 5: actual Craigslist price.
- 1:37:35Speaker 3: Is higher or lower?
- 1:37:37Speaker 12: Oh?
- 1:37:39Speaker 2: Still higher?
- 1:37:39Speaker 5: Higher actual Craigslist price. It's a bargain, guys at three
- 1:37:44Speaker 5: hundred dollars. Oh wow, yeah, it's self for sale.
