- 0:45Speaker 3: before bed right down or simply reflect on three themes
- 0:50Speaker 3: that went your way that day. These can be little
- 0:53Speaker 3: things like you got green lights on the way to work,
- 0:56Speaker 3: or they can be big things like you had a
- 0:59Speaker 3: really special moment with your significant other. Whatever they are.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Take notes, but personal things, not keep track, Yeah, personal things, yeah.

- 1:26Speaker 3: pieces of joy into every day building up to that
- 1:29Speaker 3: specific thing. So, whether it's a trip or just a

- 1:53Speaker 3: Oh watch, it's fine, okay, all right.
- 1:56Speaker 1: What's next?
- 1:57Speaker 3: Next is to try something new. Our brains are hard
- 2:02Speaker 3: wired to experience joy when we're experiencing novelty, something like
- 2:08Speaker 3: a new hobby, reading a new book, even just listening
- 2:12Speaker 3: to a new style of music can really help us
- 2:15Speaker 3: to just bring that little bit of extra joy into
- 2:18Speaker 3: our day.
- 2:18Speaker 1: What if you've done it all, you do all. I've
- 2:22Speaker 1: done it all solid.
- 2:24Speaker 2: It's hard to think of something new because I've done
- 2:27Speaker 2: it all.
- 2:27Speaker 1: You're gonna be an influencer, Bill, remember.
- 2:31Speaker 2: It is?
- 2:31Speaker 1: Okay, all right? Probably something new? Next?
- 2:35Speaker 3: Next is to do something that you loved as a child,
- 2:40Speaker 3: Playing with some toy, singing a silly song, dancing in
- 2:44Speaker 3: the rain, whatever it was that brought you to life
- 2:48Speaker 3: when you were a little kid. Try doing just a
- 2:51Speaker 3: little bit of that in your day.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Okay, I'm gonna I'm gonna get I would like to
- 2:56Speaker 2: have a cowboy outfit again.

- 3:11Speaker 1: And I had a cap gun. Okay. Next next is to.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Take a mental break and not just like zoning out
- 3:22Speaker 3: and not paying attention to what's going on in the world,
- 3:25Speaker 3: but being a little bit more intentional about this. So
- 3:28Speaker 3: giving yourself permission to pause for just a moment and
- 3:32Speaker 3: really imagine something that you love, maybe a place that
- 3:35Speaker 3: you visited before, maybe a dear friend that you haven't
- 3:40Speaker 3: seen for a while, and just allowing yourself to pause
- 3:43Speaker 3: for a few minutes and thinking about that scene or that.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Person, that piece of pie.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Yeah, where'd you go? We lost you? Sorry, I was
- 3:55Speaker 1: just thinking about that.

- 4:05Speaker 1: actually those are very those are very nice.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Health If you can do those things, it can be
- 4:10Speaker 2: it could be very helpful. This one, I don't know.
- 4:13Speaker 2: I think this one I'm going to write it down
- 4:16Speaker 2: or copy it and put it in my notebook. I
- 4:19Speaker 2: love that I look at it.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Every time, reference it when you're feeling low exactly.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Well, well, now, if you want to find out more
