- 0:09Speaker 1: Advice, sugar.
- 0:12Speaker 2: It's nice hell love, love and love and love. Hello,
- 0:16Speaker 2: welcome to the Nord even naisham your house, Rob shooto,
- 0:18Speaker 2: it's Monday morning. We are back to normal here on
- 0:21Speaker 2: the show. I am happy to say my friend Garrett
- 0:23Speaker 2: Vogel's joining us. Garrett, tell you there.
- 0:26Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know how I could share a
- 0:27Speaker 3: zoom room with such an author like yourself. I mean,
- 0:31Speaker 3: I'm surprised. Do you even remember who I am? And
- 0:33Speaker 3: you know, look at you, Rob. She First off, congratulations,
- 0:36Speaker 3: I'm so proud of you, honey. I mean the fact
- 0:39Speaker 3: that you have been able to take an idea uh
- 0:44Speaker 3: from something that has happened in your life and turn
- 0:47Speaker 3: it into something so intriguing, so so sexy, so so
- 0:52Speaker 3: mind bending and uh and and and you know, make
- 0:56Speaker 3: people have some fun with it and get them get
- 0:58Speaker 3: their minds thinking.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Canra.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Thank you, Darling. It's a real thrill, isn't it. I've
- 1:02Speaker 2: been working on this book for a while, and now
- 1:05Speaker 2: it's actually out. We did a ton of publicity last week.
- 1:08Speaker 2: I knew it was going to be okay, I didn't.
- 1:10Speaker 2: I don't go into things full of fears, I really don't.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I go into things, assuming hoping that they'll be okay.
- 1:16Speaker 2: So I thought I would do just find what I
- 1:18Speaker 2: couldn't have predicted. And what I'm pinching myself about is
- 1:22Speaker 2: how well it did. And that is because of you naughties.
- 1:24Speaker 2: That is because of Substack. I was reading this morning
- 1:27Speaker 2: Leam Dunnan, who I saw on Saturday for Breakfast to
- 1:30Speaker 2: let a level low alone. She has a book out
- 1:33Speaker 2: and most of her campaign is on social media. Most
- 1:36Speaker 2: of her campaign is on substack. There's a change, isn't there?
- 1:39Speaker 2: From doing the press that I did four years ago
- 1:42Speaker 2: for my first book, the Today Show and GMA and
- 1:44Speaker 2: The View and doing these much smaller podcasts, these really
- 1:49Speaker 2: really intimate conversations. That's what's working for me. So if
- 1:53Speaker 2: you've got a podcast out there and you want to
- 1:55Speaker 2: talk to a fool like me, hit mek. Let's jump
- 1:58Speaker 2: into the show. It's a big day. What time, my friends,
- 2:01Speaker 2: it is tea time. The King and the Queen King
- 2:04Speaker 2: Charles and Queen Kimilla arrive in America today.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Are they staying at your house and they're welcome.
- 2:09Speaker 2: I'll pull out the couch for a four day royal visit.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Pactive pump politics and some serious diplomatic healing. Let me explain.
- 2:18Speaker 2: So it's hosted by President Donald Trump. The trip includes
- 2:22Speaker 2: private teer at the White House today. So we're going
- 2:23Speaker 2: to Land. They're going to be exhausted, but don't worry.
- 2:26Speaker 2: They are going to go over to that White House.
- 2:27Speaker 2: After that, there is a garden party at the British
- 2:31Speaker 2: Ambassador's Residents, very fancy invites. Only Tomorrow's the big day.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Tomorrow is the speech to Congress and also to the
- 2:40Speaker 2: State dinner. We'll get to that in a minute. Then
- 2:43Speaker 2: the King and the Queen are coming to New York
- 2:45Speaker 2: for a nine eleven Victims Memorial seremone and so this
- 2:52Speaker 2: is just just front ahead of the twenty fifth year
- 2:55Speaker 2: horrific anniversary. So DZ. Then they're coming to New York
- 2:59Speaker 2: and and the going back to DC. This is a
- 3:02Speaker 2: really important trip at the moment I sort of save
- 3:05Speaker 2: the special relationship Washington and London. The UK and the
- 3:09Speaker 2: USA are odds, particularly over the Iran War, and so
- 3:14Speaker 2: some are saying that this is a real moment for
- 3:17Speaker 2: the King to shine. He does not get to decide
- 3:20Speaker 2: if he does these trips. The government decides. So the
- 3:22Speaker 2: British government is sending him here. We know the President
- 3:25Speaker 2: is easily charmed, he's easily flattered. He wants to sit
- 3:28Speaker 2: down with a real king, and I think Charles knows
- 3:31Speaker 2: what he's doing here. I've covered Charles for a really
- 3:33Speaker 2: long time. He's charming and he's really good at these
- 3:37Speaker 2: type of meetings. He's gonna make President Trump feel amazing.
- 3:41Speaker 2: President Trump has already said he's my friend and I
- 3:44Speaker 2: really like him. So I think after the next few
- 3:47Speaker 2: days the relationship between Britain and the USA might be
- 3:51Speaker 2: a little bit better. What do you think?
- 3:52Speaker 1: So that's interesting.
- 3:53Speaker 3: So no matter where Charles lies, you know, loves, hates
- 3:58Speaker 3: does it. No matter what if he didn't want to go,
- 4:00Speaker 3: he still has to go, just because of a job
- 4:03Speaker 3: told him to.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Yeah, the government runs it like this is going to
- 4:05Speaker 2: be I was laughing last night. I spoke to a
- 4:07Speaker 2: Trump source and it's really made me giggle. They said
- 4:10Speaker 2: Trump no longer wants to be a king because he
- 4:12Speaker 2: has more power as a president. Right, like all those
- 4:15Speaker 2: stories that Trump he doesn't want to be a king,
- 4:18Speaker 2: Charles has very little power. Like it looks great, it
- 4:21Speaker 2: sounds great. I'm the king. We say it in the playground.
- 4:24Speaker 2: We say it at school, we might think it maybe
- 4:26Speaker 2: when we shouldn't. But being a king, particularly the King
- 4:29Speaker 2: of England, is not as powerful as as you think.
- 4:32Speaker 2: The government decides that that he comes here. The government
- 4:35Speaker 2: decides the state visits. When when President Trump went to
- 4:38Speaker 2: the UK, that wasn't Charles's idea, that was the government.
- 4:42Speaker 2: So how is calling the strings? It's flattering egos And
- 4:47Speaker 2: this is how diplomacy works. This isn't disrespect to mister Trump.
- 4:52Speaker 2: All world leaders are easily flattered. And if you make
- 4:55Speaker 2: friends with a world leader, you give them a better deal.
- 4:59Speaker 2: And so there to get a better deal for Britain,
- 5:01Speaker 2: I did laft though one of my palace insiders has
- 5:04Speaker 2: told me that they shouldn't serve chocolate or garlic or
- 5:08Speaker 2: shellfish at the State to dinner because Charles does not
- 5:11Speaker 2: enjoy that. He's never liked chocolate cake. No, he would
- 5:15Speaker 2: rather have a cheese course. So if you're going to
- 5:18Speaker 2: serve dessert, do you know in the fancy restaurant you
- 5:20Speaker 2: can get a dessert or a cheese court.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I never I never got the cheese at the end
- 5:23Speaker 1: of the meeting, and I want something sweet, don't you?
- 5:25Speaker 2: Well, Charles, Charles is gonna go for Charles's gonna go
- 5:28Speaker 2: for the sweet Well. I find interesting too, and I
- 5:32Speaker 2: was reporting this a few months ago before anybody else.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Harry and Meghan. What do they do about Harry and Meghan?
- 5:37Speaker 2: They're coming to America. He has not seen his grandchildren
- 5:41Speaker 2: in four years. Do they see Harry and Meghan? There
- 5:43Speaker 2: were some discussions the Sussex teams and the Windsor team
- 5:48Speaker 2: were deciding, how do we do this. We know that
- 5:51Speaker 2: President Trump really dislikes Meghan Markle. He said some very
- 5:54Speaker 2: very very tough things about her are on social media.
- 5:58Speaker 2: So they don't want to go to DC. I get that,
- 6:00Speaker 2: But he is coming to New York, so maybe they
- 6:02Speaker 2: could get the Sussexes here in New York. I'm told
- 6:05Speaker 2: after the Australian trip that probably isn't gonna work.
- 6:08Speaker 3: It's so weird just thinking that you know a grandpa,
- 6:13Speaker 3: or just being a grandchild and never meeting Grandpa, who's
- 6:16Speaker 3: who's obviously alive and moving throughout the world, like you
- 6:22Speaker 3: got to at least think there has been communication with
- 6:24Speaker 3: the grandchildren a handful of times, at least I don't
- 6:28Speaker 3: see them, Just like, how do you grow up going, oh,
- 6:30Speaker 3: grandpa was alive, but I never met him.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Weird and my grandpa. Can you imagine go to school
- 6:36Speaker 2: and say to your friends, my grandpa's the king of England.
- 6:39Speaker 2: There's a guy that lives in my building, Jack Schlasburg.
- 6:41Speaker 2: He is the grandson of JFK. JFK is his grandfather.
- 6:46Speaker 2: And at school he would say, oh, my grandfather was
- 6:48Speaker 2: the president. They were like, don't be ridiculous, there's no
- 6:51Speaker 2: Schlosburg president. And he's a Kennedy. It's really really interesting,
- 6:55Speaker 2: so that I don't think it's gonna work out. But
- 6:57Speaker 2: what is gonna make Manics look even worse is the
- 7:00Speaker 2: It's going to be a very sort of low key.
- 7:02Speaker 2: I'm trying to get into it private party on Wednesday
- 7:06Speaker 2: night in New York for the King's Trust. I need
- 7:09Speaker 2: to get into it. Into your career and trying really hard.
- 7:13Speaker 2: And I wasn't meant to know about it. I'm not
- 7:14Speaker 2: even meant to the fact I'm talking about it means
- 7:16Speaker 2: I'm not going to get in. Anna Winter is going
- 7:17Speaker 2: to be hosting it. Anna from voguee Stewart. He's got
- 7:21Speaker 2: a business. But the optics and I did a story
- 7:24Speaker 2: this morning on my sub stack that he's meeting Anna
- 7:27Speaker 2: Winter and Martha Stewart, but not Harry and Meghan. I
- 7:30Speaker 2: mean they could have been invited to the party, they
- 7:31Speaker 2: could have come to New York. But know that is
- 7:33Speaker 2: not going to happen. Maybe it will in the next
- 7:35Speaker 2: couple of days. They might change their mind. The King's
- 7:38Speaker 2: sources are defending him, saying this is a business trip.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Now I must admit I once had to fly to
- 7:44Speaker 2: London for I think it was three days with Paris Hilton.
- 7:47Speaker 2: It might have been Jessica Simpson for some sort of
- 7:49Speaker 2: movie premiere. I didn't see my family because it was
- 7:52Speaker 2: just a work trip. I literally got there, got off
- 7:54Speaker 2: the plane, worked.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I tried, do they give you?
- 7:58Speaker 2: They got it, they understood it. They understood it. They
- 8:01Speaker 2: like sometimes like work is work. I was at your
- 8:04Speaker 2: office last week to provoke my book. Thank you, Elvis.
- 8:07Speaker 2: You sold me a ton of books. You had your
- 8:09Speaker 2: kids there. It's tricky to have a work environment and
- 8:12Speaker 2: bring your family into that environment. You've got a job
- 8:15Speaker 2: to do. I think you don't realize that as a kid, that, Oh,
- 8:18Speaker 2: Garrett's just hanging out each morning. Get a radio station. No,
- 8:20Speaker 2: there's a lot of shuff.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Don't want to meet Uncle Rob Moore. Love the way
- 8:24Speaker 1: you speak, excellent.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Taste, and they were lovely kids, which brings us to
- 8:29Speaker 2: our pole question of the day. King Charles is in
- 8:35Speaker 2: d C. Camilla. They are in the USA. They're even
- 8:39Speaker 2: coming to New York. Should they meet Harry and Megan?
- 8:43Speaker 2: What do you think should they meet them? Pulls at
- 8:45Speaker 2: your heart strings, doesn't it? I get this could go
- 8:47Speaker 2: either way. Heyge votes on our Twitter at X page
- 8:50Speaker 2: and not in nice rab Facebook page is not yours,
- 8:53Speaker 2: and be sure sure sure to check back to mother
- 8:56Speaker 2: Rawle to hear your results. Hey Garrett, what are you
- 8:59Speaker 2: working on?
- 9:00Speaker 3: Okay, I'm gonna say this is all alleged according to
- 9:02Speaker 3: sources and not coming from me or Rob Shooter.
- 9:05Speaker 1: But Harry Styles pops the question to Zoe.
- 9:08Speaker 3: To Zoe Kravitz, they're officially headed to the Altar just
- 9:12Speaker 3: eight months after being together. I don't know, how do
- 9:15Speaker 3: you feel about being eight months in and popping the question?
- 9:18Speaker 3: I mean, we've known each other forever, Rob and you
- 9:20Speaker 3: haven't popped the question, nor I have to you. But
- 9:22Speaker 3: we're both married either way, So this is all according
- 9:26Speaker 3: to insiders that they're so in love with each other,
- 9:29Speaker 3: all coming from the photos that we saw just about
- 9:31Speaker 3: last week, a diamond ring on Zoe's finger, and sources
- 9:35Speaker 3: are confirming to Page six that the pair are engaged,
- 9:38Speaker 3: already celebrating privately with close friends. And you know, you
- 9:42Speaker 3: know he, Harry is so so happy. Everybody was expecting
- 9:45Speaker 3: him to run the London Marathon, but he didn't over
- 9:48Speaker 3: the weekend because I guess he's he's just being smitten
- 9:51Speaker 3: with Zoe. And you know he said he would do anything,
- 9:54Speaker 3: including you know, go as far as jumping off a cliff,
- 9:56Speaker 3: which again, love is love at that point. If you're
- 9:59Speaker 3: jumping off a you know you love somebody, right, I
- 10:01Speaker 3: jump off a rob And on the other hand, Zoe
- 10:06Speaker 3: is said to be on cloud nine.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I mean, this is this.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Seems to be the mooey, gouey, mushy mushy friendship love.
- 10:13Speaker 3: You know those high school those high school couples that
- 10:16Speaker 3: you see in the hallway making out and you're like,
- 10:17Speaker 3: come on, go get a room, get.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Out of here.
- 10:20Speaker 1: You know, romance move fast. Obviously.
- 10:23Speaker 3: You know they were first spotted together back August of
- 10:26Speaker 3: twenty twenty five, and you know they went on secret
- 10:29Speaker 3: strolls in Rome, because that's the normal thing. Couples do
- 10:32Speaker 3: go to Rome and have secret strolls. But you know,
- 10:35Speaker 3: just like for you know, we all have that group
- 10:37Speaker 3: of friends. No one in their group of friends is
- 10:40Speaker 3: surprised by what's going on, and you know they've kept
- 10:43Speaker 3: it quiet for months. And but I think you and
- 10:46Speaker 3: I both know a ring says a lot of words.
- 10:48Speaker 2: It does say a lot of words. My celebrities often
- 10:50Speaker 2: wear rings are just to get us talking about them.
- 10:52Speaker 2: So when we saw this ring, this is when we
- 10:54Speaker 2: really started digging right and I got to give my respect.
- 10:56Speaker 2: He she's a great reporter. My friend Mara at page six,
- 10:59Speaker 2: who was at my book party on Monday, Thank you
- 11:01Speaker 2: for coming. Mara. She broke this news over the weekend
- 11:04Speaker 2: and I texted her and I was like, congratulations, it's
- 11:06Speaker 2: a great, great story. A lot of people dismiss this story, saying,
- 11:10Speaker 2: oh no, they're just looking for attention. Nobody's talking about this,
- 11:13Speaker 2: all these engagement rulers. Mara's got it. Mara is absolutely
- 11:17Speaker 2: convinced they are engaged. I hit the phones. I haven't
- 11:19Speaker 2: been able to confirm her reporting, but I know how
- 11:21Speaker 2: great she is as our reporter. I'm jealous that she
- 11:24Speaker 2: broke this one. That's always when you know one of
- 11:26Speaker 2: your friends is doing a really good job, when you're
- 11:29Speaker 2: a wee bit jealous, just not a lot jealous, you
- 11:31Speaker 2: don't wish them any story, did you? I thought that
- 11:34Speaker 2: story was great. Harry Styles being engaged one of the
- 11:37Speaker 2: hottest stars in the world. Now a big question I'm
- 11:39Speaker 2: doing a story on this later today on my sub stack,
- 11:42Speaker 2: is that Zoe Kravitz has been invited to Taylor Swift's wedding.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Does she bring her fiance as her plus one? Use
- 11:50Speaker 2: the date and Taylor Swift? Ye, I think I say
- 11:54Speaker 2: one hundred percent, No, he dated. If I was Travis
- 11:58Speaker 2: and I looked across the room and all my wife
- 12:01Speaker 2: to be in minutes, my wife's we're to get married
- 12:04Speaker 2: right now. If I saw an ex sidelight and then
- 12:06Speaker 2: the ex is Harry Styles.
- 12:08Speaker 1: But that ex is already engaged. You know he's engaged.
- 12:12Speaker 3: You have moved on with friends, but he's Taylor is friends.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Here here, here's where the Swift he comes out and me,
- 12:17Speaker 3: Rob Shooter, this is where you know Taylor Swift is
- 12:20Speaker 3: friends with Taylor Lautner.
- 12:22Speaker 1: They dated. He's married to no big problems.
- 12:25Speaker 2: She's coming to the wedding though, no he's not well.
- 12:28Speaker 1: I mean, we can argue the the level of the level.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Of friend celebrity Harry Styles at this wedding as Taylor's.
- 12:38Speaker 3: One of your good girlfriends, is so happy no matter
- 12:40Speaker 3: who she was dating unless they got the invite when
- 12:44Speaker 3: you know she was, you know, still hanging out with
- 12:45Speaker 3: Channing and Taylor was hoping to have Channing Tatum at
- 12:48Speaker 3: the wedding.
- 12:48Speaker 2: But that's pretty coct I don't think all Taylor's got
- 12:51Speaker 2: eyes for it. This wedding is traffs, which is just
- 12:55Speaker 2: another little story there. I like it. I think it's great.
- 12:57Speaker 2: I love love. I want these two to be happy.
- 13:00Speaker 2: He's a good guy.
- 13:01Speaker 1: She's really really seating charge.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Imagine sitting down Taylor and Travis sitting down.
- 13:06Speaker 1: You know they have to like they're not going to leave.
- 13:08Speaker 3: It till like weddings because they're like, okay, Zoe and
- 13:14Speaker 3: Zoe or yeah, sitting sitting next to blah blah blah.
- 13:19Speaker 1: I mean that that is the craziest seeding. That's better
- 13:23Speaker 1: than the Oscars. Do you think they put photos like
- 13:26Speaker 1: on the Oscars for the wedding. They don't have them
- 13:29Speaker 1: at the.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Tables, little names of cards like the rest of us. Okay,
- 13:32Speaker 2: moving along. This is a shocking maybe not a shocking
- 13:35Speaker 2: story Michael Jackson and the movie got panned by the critics.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Nobody liked it. They all said it's.
- 13:39Speaker 1: All a lie on rotten tomato.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Anything controversial, including plastic surgery, sexual abuse allegations, so all
- 13:47Speaker 2: of that is just cut out of the story and
- 13:49Speaker 2: Michael is presented as literally a saint. It's number one
- 13:53Speaker 2: at the box office, and not just number one by
- 13:55Speaker 2: a little It's doing blockbuster numbers. They think it could
- 13:58Speaker 2: do about nineteen ninet zero wrote million in its debut,
- 14:01Speaker 2: being the biggest ever biopic musical of all time movie
- 14:06Speaker 2: of all time, if you remember Bohemian Rhapsody with Queen
- 14:10Speaker 2: with Freddie Mercury went on to make a billion dollars.
- 14:13Speaker 2: So this movie, I think it's gonna have legs. A
- 14:15Speaker 2: lot of people thought, I don't know, after the reviews,
- 14:18Speaker 2: this wasn't gonna make it. It is as big as
- 14:21Speaker 2: you can imagine. And then on this Thursday we have
- 14:23Speaker 2: Devil wes Prada. But the critics have not seen that.
- 14:27Speaker 2: They do not want any reviews.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I think it will. I think it'll still do well.
- 14:31Speaker 1: But here here's.
- 14:32Speaker 3: The story I learned with Michael Jackson, and this applies
- 14:35Speaker 3: to everybody in life.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Always be nice to.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Your family, because Michael's family are the ones that literally
- 14:41Speaker 3: had the ultimate say in this movie. So if Michael
- 14:44Speaker 3: treated his family like dirt and didn't love them or
- 14:47Speaker 3: care about them, this movie could have gone a totally
- 14:50Speaker 3: different way in.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Exposing way control the copyright.
- 14:54Speaker 1: You can't do the songs.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Nice to your family, brother and your sisters and uncles, mom, dad,
- 15:00Speaker 3: because you'll never know when your life turns into a movie,
- 15:03Speaker 3: and they could literally, you know, hurt bed.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Words of advice. Okay, we're going to take a quick
- 15:07Speaker 2: break and we will be right back.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Welcome back to the.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Naughty but Nice Shamma, your host drop shooter with her
- 15:14Speaker 2: dear friend Garrett Vogel. Hey, Garrett, let's get to the
- 15:16Speaker 2: polls dot dot d LAS show. We talked about Kate
- 15:19Speaker 2: Middleton Bean spotted I with a bandage on her hand.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Should we be worried for case, Let's have a look.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Seventy percent said no. If she was in trouble, she
- 15:28Speaker 2: wouldn't be out at all or she would be wearing gloves.
- 15:30Speaker 2: I totally agree. I hit the phones. She just banged
- 15:33Speaker 2: her finger. Don't everybody get too excited to hear she
- 15:36Speaker 2: banged her finger. She's a human being, she has young children,
- 15:39Speaker 2: She is very busy, and she carries on doing the work. Okay,
- 15:42Speaker 2: don't forget to vote on today's Paul go to work.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Twitter page had naughty, nice warm facebook page is naughty
- 15:51Speaker 2: gossip And be sure to check back TOI maur to
- 15:54Speaker 2: hear your results. And now it's my favorite part of
- 15:58Speaker 2: the show of the day.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Yes, you know I was thinking about this.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Nicki Glazer is very much like you Rob Shooter, where
- 16:07Speaker 3: she's a little naughty but also nice, you know what
- 16:09Speaker 3: I mean.
- 16:10Speaker 1: So you've seen.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Nicki Glazer literally all over every award show over the
- 16:16Speaker 3: last few years in roast, and she has a way
- 16:19Speaker 3: of telling jokes where she just doesn't want to go
- 16:21Speaker 3: for the obvious joke. You know, she wants to She
- 16:23Speaker 3: wants to kind of be a little smarter comedian, and
- 16:26Speaker 3: she does find that way. So she was hosting the
- 16:28Speaker 3: Time one hundred gala that happened last week here in
- 16:31Speaker 3: New York City, and she was talking about Victoria Beckham
- 16:35Speaker 3: aka Posh Spice, so Glazer zeroed in and she was
- 16:39Speaker 3: talking about the Spice Girl and one of the night
- 16:42Speaker 3: Night's smartest, smartest, sharpest jokes. She goes, she's rich, successful, stunning,
- 16:48Speaker 3: and what is going to take? What is it going
- 16:51Speaker 3: to take for her to smile? And of course, right
- 16:53Speaker 3: the camera went straight to Victoria cracked a smile. She
- 16:57Speaker 3: cracked a smile because she knew it was funny because
- 16:59Speaker 3: all the photos we see of Victoria she has that
- 17:03Speaker 3: very serious face, and you know, it's great to see
- 17:06Speaker 3: that a celebrity could could be and laugh on the
- 17:09Speaker 3: joke and not take it too serious, you know, unlike
- 17:11Speaker 3: you know, a Will Smith of the world.
- 17:13Speaker 2: That's right. I like Nicky Glazer. She does make me laugh.
- 17:16Speaker 2: I did watch them on HBO one of her stand
- 17:18Speaker 2: up specials. She's much racier when she's doing her own material.
- 17:23Speaker 1: It's a little older.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Yeah, And I think she's realized that, you know, she's
- 17:28Speaker 3: getting more attention because she's not the.
- 17:31Speaker 1: The I Gotcha celebrity, you know, you know hosts.
- 17:35Speaker 2: It wasn't so much she was mean. She was very sexual,
- 17:38Speaker 2: all right, and so I was like, oh my goodness,
- 17:40Speaker 2: like she she she went there, but she is awfully talented.
- 17:43Speaker 2: She's like the each person of the moment. To roast
- 17:46Speaker 2: Victoria Beckham to her face in such a naughty but
- 17:49Speaker 2: nice way makes you the nicest of the day. I
- 17:51Speaker 2: think that this is what we have to remember. We
- 17:54Speaker 2: can make fun of one another, We can enjoy a laugh.
- 17:58Speaker 2: I think sometimes we're so frightened of offending anybody and
- 18:01Speaker 2: nobody wants to be offended, that we become a little
- 18:04Speaker 2: bit dull. And comedians have this really fine line to
- 18:08Speaker 2: walk where they are pushy and they do say stuff
- 18:12Speaker 2: that might go a little bit too far. But I've
- 18:14Speaker 2: got a really good sense of humor about myself. Over
- 18:17Speaker 2: the last week or so, I've been getting so much attention.
- 18:20Speaker 2: I've enjoyed it. But there's a side of it too
- 18:22Speaker 2: where people have said a few things that I was like, oh,
- 18:25Speaker 2: I don't know, laugh at yourselves.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Learned to lie and we cast her and it started
- 18:29Speaker 1: with a whisper.
- 18:30Speaker 2: She can play robshooter. Okay, now I know she's the
- 18:33Speaker 2: day naughty, naughty, naughty Helena Bona Carter has checked out
- 18:37Speaker 2: of The White Lotus just nine days into filming. HBO
- 18:40Speaker 2: are just saying, oh, it didn't lie. We're changing stuff.
- 18:43Speaker 2: My sources tell me it is a meltdown on set.
- 18:47Speaker 2: It's not working what they did for the last couple
- 18:50Speaker 2: of seasons. Let's be honest. The last season didn't really
- 18:53Speaker 2: work that well at all. It didn't get nominated for
- 18:55Speaker 2: any awards. It normally wins the awards. There's a problem
- 18:58Speaker 2: with the White Lotus, it might have and its course,
- 19:00Speaker 2: and so they're blaming timing chemistry. But this is not
- 19:05Speaker 2: about the actress.
- 19:07Speaker 3: For spending most of his time Survivors season.
- 19:12Speaker 2: He should be writing. I know it's disappointing when these
- 19:16Speaker 2: shows don't deliver anymore, but that often happens, and I
- 19:19Speaker 2: think it might be time. Sources are telling me. There's
- 19:22Speaker 2: even conversations that it might be time for the end
- 19:25Speaker 2: of the White Lotus and is the daylet's end with
- 19:27Speaker 2: a moment of Your real network is about five people.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Your network is not the number of people you know,
- 19:34Speaker 2: that's not true. It's the number of people who will
- 19:36Speaker 2: actually return your call when it matters. For most people,
- 19:39Speaker 2: that's a small number. For me, it's about five, maybe
- 19:42Speaker 2: even less. But those five people they're my network. They
- 19:45Speaker 2: turn up for me. They look after me, They protect me,
- 19:47Speaker 2: and I protect that relationship. I talk to each of
- 19:50Speaker 2: them maybe once a day, at least every other day.
- 19:53Speaker 2: They're five people, six people in my phone who are
- 19:56Speaker 2: not only my network, but are my friends. Don't mistake.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Don't mistake the number of people you know for your friends.
- 20:05Speaker 2: It's not true. With my book, I only needed about
- 20:08Speaker 2: five big hits. If you get five really solid promotional
- 20:13Speaker 2: hits that as an ex publicist, that's a schedule. That's
- 20:16Speaker 2: what Tom Cruise has, That's what Nicole Kidman has. You
- 20:19Speaker 2: need some real big, some really important anchors. I called
- 20:23Speaker 2: all five of my inner circle, my network. They all
- 20:26Speaker 2: said yes, including Elvis de Ran. When I texted Elvis
- 20:28Speaker 2: and said two things, Will you host my party? Yes?
- 20:32Speaker 2: He said I would be honored too. Isn't that lovely?
- 20:34Speaker 2: I would be honored to me? And then what was
- 20:36Speaker 2: that love? Where was the party at the Sanctuary Hotel?
- 20:40Speaker 2: It was this fabulous roof deck called the Haven Rooftop
- 20:43Speaker 2: roof Decks and Elvis. Elvis turned up with him. I
- 20:46Speaker 2: literally text him five minutes later, I'd be honored. And
- 20:49Speaker 2: then I was like, can I come on your show?
- 20:50Speaker 2: You're one of the biggest radio shows in the world. Yes,
- 20:53Speaker 2: so I nurture my five friends. Don't worry about how
- 20:57Speaker 2: many people are in your phone. Some of my friends
- 20:59Speaker 2: are I've got ten thousand contacts. I'm like, I've got
- 21:03Speaker 2: a lot of people in my phone too, but I've
- 21:04Speaker 2: only really got about five contacts. So really nurture those relationships. Hey,
- 21:08Speaker 2: that is it for today. Thank you so much for
- 21:11Speaker 2: listening to the Naughty Bit Nice with Robin Garrett show.

- 21:23Speaker 2: extensive organization. I kind of make some money to pay
