- 0:56Speaker 3: We can't appreciate the warmth without the gold.
- 0:59Speaker 2: That's right. It's very important. You know. I spent time
- 1:03Speaker 2: over the holiday weekend reconfiguring my living quarters and such
- 1:08Speaker 2: the dining area too. Why well, because finally, after pipes
- 1:14Speaker 2: burst over the winter time, they came in and moved
- 1:19Speaker 2: everything out of my place, stashed it in a U haul,
- 1:23Speaker 2: laid down some new hardwood type flooring or whatnot. I
- 1:27Speaker 2: guess luxury lamb in it wooded flooring or whatever. And
- 1:33Speaker 2: now I have to get used to that instead of carpet.
- 1:36Speaker 2: But it's okay, and it looks good and that's what.
- 1:39Speaker 2: That's really what to me is most important.
- 1:42Speaker 3: That's great.
- 1:42Speaker 2: And so you know what, Yeah, it was kind of
- 1:44Speaker 2: tough to move around and hop around and move things
- 1:47Speaker 2: with one leg, but you know, or you know, try

- 2:59Speaker 3: year old. Nats HERE official say that he had previously
- 3:02Speaker 3: been arrested after allegedly trying to enter another Whitehouse checkpoint
- 3:07Speaker 3: without authorization. Fifteen people were rescued after a boat started
- 3:12Speaker 3: sinking on the Potomac River over the weekend near Joint
- 3:16Speaker 3: Base and Acostia Bowling. Fire Crews were able to get
- 3:20Speaker 3: everyone safely to shore. DC drivers faced delays on three
- 3:25Speaker 3: ninety five yesterday after concrete fell onto the freeway near
- 3:30Speaker 3: the Seventh Street Southwest overpass. The right lane between Main
- 3:34Speaker 3: Avenue and the Third Street Tunnel was blocked for cleanup.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Target is rolling out some redesigned shopping carts and stores

- 3:57Speaker 3: recent survey, nearly sixty percent of retirees left the workforce
- 4:03Speaker 3: earlier than expected, often for reasons outside their control. Health
- 4:08Speaker 3: problems were the top reason, sighted followed by job dissatisfaction, layoffs,
- 4:13Speaker 3: and also changes in family circumstances. Forecast for today cloudy
- 4:18Speaker 3: skies with a chance of showers later on highs around
- 4:21Speaker 3: seventy seven right now sixty five in Middleburg.
- 4:24Speaker 2: And that is the news top stories at the top
- 4:27Speaker 2: of the hour on this Tuesday after the holiday weekend.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Ninety seven point one. Watch FM Toby and Chilly in
- 4:33Speaker 2: the morning. Next. I know you dragging. I know it's tough.
- 4:37Speaker 2: We're all in the same boat. I just hope somebody's
- 4:42Speaker 2: paddling anyway. Maybe you're finding that you need a little
- 4:45Speaker 2: extra something in addition to your coffee to get you
- 4:48Speaker 2: started today your morning mindset. We think maybe this quote
- 4:51Speaker 2: will help. And it's yours in minutes with Toby and
- 4:54Speaker 2: Chilly in the Morning. That groggy. Really, it's Tuesday, feels
- 4:59Speaker 2: like a Monday energy is in full effect for all
- 5:01Speaker 2: of us. It's ninety seven point one watch FM Toby
- 5:05Speaker 2: and Chilly in the morning. But we think maybe this
- 5:08Speaker 2: could help.
- 5:08Speaker 3: It's our morning mindset where we share a quote to
- 5:11Speaker 3: get you into a better headspace.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Shonda Rhymes has some words for us this morning. She
- 5:16Speaker 2: wants you to remember before you get this day started
- 5:19Speaker 2: that you can waste your lives drawing lines or you
- 5:23Speaker 2: can live your life crossing them. Shonda Rhymes says, you
- 5:28Speaker 2: can waste your lives drawing lines, or you can live
- 5:32Speaker 2: your life crossing them. See. Look, I am one of
- 5:38Speaker 2: those kids in life who believes in coloring outside of
- 5:41Speaker 2: the lines. So I'll draw lines all over the place,
- 5:44Speaker 2: and then I'll cross those lines because to me, crossing
- 5:48Speaker 2: the lines is where reinvention happens. It's also where you
- 5:53Speaker 2: stop limiting yourself. Right, So go ahead today, step outside
- 5:59Speaker 2: of the lines, live your life by crossing them, and
- 6:02Speaker 2: watch the reinvention that happens. And remember that Shonda Rhimes
- 6:06Speaker 2: knows what she's talking about when it comes to crossing
- 6:08Speaker 2: some lines, because that's why she is who she is.
- 6:12Speaker 2: What will you bring to the world today as you
- 6:14Speaker 2: cross those lines? Think about it? And that's your morning
- 6:18Speaker 2: mindset for this Tuesday. Now, before you go get some coffee,
- 6:21Speaker 2: hang out where Toby and Chilly in the morning. It's
- 6:23Speaker 2: ninety seven point one wash FM.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Okay, So the Mandalorian and Grogu movie opened over the
- 6:28Speaker 3: holiday weekend. Apparently at least thirty nine people have gotten
- 6:32Speaker 3: a baby Yoda tattoo since the whole Mandalorian thing debut. Well,
- 6:36Speaker 3: so I won't really want to know right now. Do
- 6:38Speaker 3: you know someone who has a TV or movie character
- 6:42Speaker 3: tattooed on their body? Eight six six nine two seven
- 6:46Speaker 3: four three six one is the number. Maybe we'll all
- 6:49Speaker 3: be inspired by the person coming up next.
- 6:53Speaker 2: So you were talking about these tattoos a few minutes ago,
- 6:57Speaker 2: Chilli Amar, Toby and Chilly in the morning, it is
- 7:00Speaker 2: ninety seven point one. Why, chef fan, please explain.
- 7:03Speaker 3: I know you saw the Mandalorian and Grogu movie over
- 7:06Speaker 3: the weekend, great mom, and well, and I know you're
- 7:09Speaker 3: a huge fan of the whole franchise.
- 7:11Speaker 2: I am biased.
- 7:12Speaker 3: There are thirty nine people who've reportedly gotten a baby
- 7:15Speaker 3: Yoda tattoo since the whole Mandalorian thing started. So I
- 7:19Speaker 3: was just curious if you would consider getting one of
- 7:22Speaker 3: the characters.
- 7:22Speaker 2: I'm not that biased.
- 7:23Speaker 3: Okay, you're not that into No, Okay.
- 7:27Speaker 2: I'm a fan, but I don't like it that much.
- 7:29Speaker 3: But we know that people do. And so we were
- 7:32Speaker 3: curious if you knew somebody who had either a TV
- 7:35Speaker 3: or a movie character tattooed on their body. And what
- 7:39Speaker 3: was it?
- 7:39Speaker 2: Eight six, six, nine two, seven forty three sixty one's number.
- 7:42Speaker 2: And by the way, talk back is wide open two
- 7:44Speaker 2: if you're signed in listening to us on your iHeart
- 7:47Speaker 2: app this morning technology. He's still mentally had a cookout
- 7:52Speaker 2: over the weekend, Jason and Ashburn. So you say, you
- 7:56Speaker 2: know a guy who had a.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Tattoot giant Superman logo on his chest? Was he full
- 8:03Speaker 3: of himself?
- 8:04Speaker 2: Chili? Come on now? He was honestly one of the nicest,
- 8:06Speaker 2: kindest guys I've ever met in my entire life. I
- 8:09Speaker 2: always thought that Superman logo was cool.
- 8:12Speaker 3: I can't imagine how that would feel if it was
- 8:15Speaker 3: to scale.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Oh lord, and with all those colors.
- 8:18Speaker 4: That was my first question to him was did that hurt?
- 8:21Speaker 2: And he said kind.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Of just kind of right. That's a nice pain threshold
- 8:26Speaker 3: big time. Thanks for sharing though.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Good morning, Jason. Thanks for calling us now over to Leesburg.
- 8:31Speaker 2: I understand Eric you're still shaking off the Costco sheet cake.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Good for you. Good morning. So tell us about these tattoos.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Yes, I've got Tasmanian Devil on my right shoulder. Okay,
- 8:44Speaker 3: you need to explain this number one. It was my
- 8:47Speaker 3: first tattoo. The other reason I got it is kas
- 8:50Speaker 3: has got a New York Yankees baseball outfit on. I'm
- 8:54Speaker 3: a big Yankees fan.
- 8:56Speaker 2: And Jason, you just lost me. Chili talked to him.
- 8:59Speaker 3: How big is this Tasmanian Devil tattoo. It's a nice
- 9:03Speaker 3: little tattoo.
- 9:04Speaker 4: I mean it's probably about three four inches big.
- 9:06Speaker 2: And it's gonna live there forever and ever in Ashburne. Jason,
- 9:11Speaker 2: thanks for the call this morning, and I hope your team,

- 12:50Speaker 2: If you want to call us and take part in
- 12:52Speaker 2: the conversation, tell us all about it. Do you remember
- 12:55Speaker 2: your earliest childhood memory chilling in life? So what was it?
- 12:58Speaker 3: Well, only nine percent of people, according to her survey,
- 13:01Speaker 3: remember much from age six. That's a really low amount
- 13:05Speaker 3: of people. Most people don't start to really hold on
- 13:08Speaker 3: to those memories until they get like into their teenage years. Right,
- 13:12Speaker 3: If I'm looking back, I think the earliest one I
- 13:14Speaker 3: have is maybe around the age of three. My mom
- 13:17Speaker 3: was pregnant, and I have this image of me sitting
- 13:19Speaker 3: on her lap and trying to come up with a
- 13:21Speaker 3: name for my baby sister. And I had suggested seven
- 13:24Speaker 3: up as a name. But I mean, but that's just
- 13:27Speaker 3: a snapshot. That's sound like I remember a lot from
- 13:30Speaker 3: age three.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember flashes, like exact flashes of memory, and
- 13:35Speaker 2: they're very, very pleasant. So I would fall in the
- 13:37Speaker 2: sixty one percent of people who say that their child
- 13:40Speaker 2: in memories are positive. That first memory that I remember
- 13:44Speaker 2: how well is me? Oh, I don't even know. Maybe
- 13:47Speaker 2: you could help me figure it out. It must have
- 13:48Speaker 2: been really young. Three. Dad was carrying me in from
- 13:54Speaker 2: being outside, and I remember coming in through a door
- 13:58Speaker 2: in their old apartment. But before we moved into the house,
- 14:01Speaker 2: I grew up in and I remember seeing like tomatoes
- 14:05Speaker 2: or some sort of plant growing over to the left,
- 14:09Speaker 2: and the kitchen stuff was to the right. It was
- 14:11Speaker 2: their first apartment as a couple, So you too were
- 14:13Speaker 2: before the age of six, it had to be.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Yeah, so we're in the minority then, because a lot
- 14:17Speaker 3: of people can't remember that far back.
- 14:20Speaker 2: I wish it was more than just flashes though. Yeah.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Well, and it gets worse as we get older.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I know it goes from being flashes to flashes again.
- 14:29Speaker 3: I don't remember what I did yesterday, if I'm being honest,
- 14:32Speaker 3: anymoe yesterday about an hour and a half.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Two hours ago.
- 14:38Speaker 3: But what is your earliest childhood memory? We want to
- 14:41Speaker 3: hear about it.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Yeah, you know the number. You know, we've got talk back,
- 14:44Speaker 2: So why don't you tell us all about it right now?
- 14:46Speaker 2: We're Toby and Chilly in the morning here at ninety
- 14:48Speaker 2: seven point one watch FM. So take us back to
- 14:51Speaker 2: your earliest childhood memory and we'll get into it coming up.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Toby and Chilly in the Morning talking with you about
- 14:57Speaker 2: your earliest childhood memory here at ninety seven points one
- 15:00Speaker 2: watch CHEFM at eight sixty six nine two seven three sixty.
- 15:03Speaker 3: One, only nine percent of people have much memory from
- 15:08Speaker 3: the age of six. Most of their memory really starts
- 15:11Speaker 3: to kick in when they're teenagers.
- 15:13Speaker 2: So let's go back and see what it is. Did
- 15:17Speaker 2: you remember in South Riding? Good morning, Jessica, your oldest memory.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Tell us all about it.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Brying because my older cousin convinced me that thunder was
- 15:25Speaker 3: giants bowling. I have never heard anyone say that was
- 15:30Speaker 3: giants were bowling.
- 15:31Speaker 2: I never heard the giant story, but I was told
- 15:34Speaker 2: by my mom that trential thunderstorms were God and the
- 15:37Speaker 2: angels bowling. Lightning was one of them getting a strike
- 15:41Speaker 2: or whatnot. Wow, you know, hey, very inventive.
- 15:44Speaker 3: Every storm after that, I'm just sitting by the window, like, wow,
- 15:47Speaker 3: they're really going for strikes tonight.
- 15:49Speaker 2: It must have been quite a storm. Thank you so much, Jessica.
- 15:53Speaker 2: I have a great day in South Riding and Drew
- 15:55Speaker 2: in Fairfax. Your oldest memory tell us all about it.
- 16:00Speaker 4: We're going to see Star Wars in the theater.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Was it the first one?
- 16:03Speaker 4: It was the third one?
- 16:05Speaker 2: Actually, Return of the Jedi. What year was that?
- 16:09Speaker 4: It was nineteen eighty three.
- 16:11Speaker 2: I was about two years old as a guy.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Wow, I don't know what I'm impressed with more the
- 16:15Speaker 3: fact that you remember a movie when you were only two,
- 16:18Speaker 3: or that that was your first movie.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean two. I'm like, it's kind of a
- 16:24Speaker 2: deep movie to understand, with really deep themes for a
- 16:27Speaker 2: two year old daddy issues and more. O.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Wow, that's no blippy, that's some serious programming. A little bit,
- 16:34Speaker 3: A little bit. What's your earliest memory? Let us know,
