✨ THIS is CRITICAL! - SILVER Just had a MASSIVE Change... (Breakout Squeeze) Gold & Precious Metals · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

• 0:00
We have major breaking news that's going to be very good for
• 0:03
silver. And we're going to talk about an
• 0:05
aspect of what's happening right now in the Middle East that
• 0:08
nobody else is talking about when it comes to the precious
• 0:11
  metals. Let's dig right in.
• 0:13
We had this this morning. We'll head out to NBC News.
• 0:17
And if you haven't heard yet, Iran has declared that the
• 0:21
Straits of Hormuz is completely open.
• 0:25
The big news is the Straits of Hormuz, a rhyme Trump said the
• 0:31
US blockade will remain in full force until there's a peace deal
• 0:35
again. I've got something nobody else
• 0:37
is talking about about this, which can make us feel very warm
• 0:41
and tingly about silver and gold.
• 0:44
But here's just a few of the headlines from Google.
• 0:47
CNN says oil drops 11%. The Dow soars 909 hundred points
• 0:53
after Iran says the Straits of Hormuz have been opened.
• 0:58
And here we go. CNN business.
• 1:01
Come on, CNN, get rid of that. There we go.
• 1:04
So big news completely open. Now, what does that mean for
• 1:08
gold and silver? Oh, and by the way, we're also
• 1:11
in this live stream, special emergency breaking News Live
• 1:15
stream. But we're going to talk about
• 1:16
the big analyst who are telling us we can have $500 silver like
• 1:20
the top analyst, the top of the top, and of course, another top
• 1:24
analyst telling us we could be seen $800 silver down the road.
• 1:28
But let's talk about the immediate impacts of what's
• 1:32
happening right now in the silver market because of the big
• 1:35
news in the Middle East. And before we forget, let's go
• 1:39
out. We have volatility in the silver
• 1:42
market and gold markets, but today it's working in our favor.
• 1:46
Silver in the spot market currently up almost $4.00 per
• 1:51
  oz. Gold, $75 per oz.
• 1:55
We'll keep an eye on that as we get through this live stream
• 1:58
with updates on the price. But guys, here's the thing,
• 2:03
think about this, think about it right?
• 2:06
Gold and silver are going crazy because of this news.
• 2:09
We talk about short term noise, but all the fundamental factors
• 2:14
that were in place before the war that made the silver and
• 2:18
gold price perform perform so spectacularly during 2025, all
• 2:25
those factors are still in place.
• 2:29
  Think about that. OK.
• 2:30
And many of them have now been accentuated, right?
• 2:33
The stock markets at all time highs, blah, blah, blah, gold
• 2:36
and silver are flying. But everything, all the
• 2:39
fundamental factors and we could talk for the next three hours,
• 2:41
which we won't, about what supported gold and silver over
• 2:45
the last 18 months. They all those factors are still
• 2:49
in place and many of them have been made worse or more powerful
• 2:53
as supportive factors for the price of silver and gold.
• 2:57
Think about this. The silver price hit $120.00 in
• 3:03
January, long before we had any idea that there was going to be
• 3:08
a major war in the Middle East, OK, Now that that's happened,
• 3:13
look, it's not going to erase all that.
• 3:15
There's massive economic impact, massive impacts that are going
• 3:18
to go on because of what's happened, all of these things.
• 3:21
Now as we move through the rest of 2026, I am more optimistic
• 3:25
than ever about where we're heading with the silver price
• 3:29
and the gold price. Now let's go, let's move over
• 3:33
the other big story, a lot of big stories today.
• 3:36
You guys have been bombarding me with questions about did the
• 3:40
Shank, did the Shanghai gold and silver or silver market, the
• 3:45
Shanghai Futures Exchange actually shut down.
• 3:47
I've been digging in. I'll tell you the best that I've
• 3:50
been able to find right now, and then we'll talk about whether or
• 3:53
not we think this is real or not.
• 3:56
So we'll head out here to Reddit, OK, where the Silver
• 4:01
Dijon Club posted this. Yesterday the Shanghai Futures
• 4:08
  Exchange announced silver trading halted.
• 4:12
The exchange announced a trading suspension for silver contracts
• 4:17
  effective Thursday morning, April 16th.
• 4:20
It says on April 15th they issued an emergency notice
• 4:24
halting all silver Futures Trading starting at the market
• 4:28
open on April 16th. This falls within the last week
• 4:32
depending on exact timing. And the halt took effect today,
• 4:35
which was yesterday. I didn't hear any more about
• 4:38
this, but we're going to, we're going to read this in blue
• 4:40
multiple financial and precious metals YouTube channels, but
• 4:46
I'll leave that all alone. And market watchers reported it
• 4:50
as a sudden emergency suspension with no immediate reopening
• 4:54
date. Announced in Orange, this is a
• 4:58
is distinct from earlier events in 2026 such as temporary halts
• 5:03
or full day suspensions and silver linked funds.
• 5:07
Those were mostly fund specific in on the Shenzhen, Shenzhen or
• 5:12
related exchanges rather than a broad Shanghai futures exchange
• 5:16
trading hall. So we'll stay on top of this.
• 5:20
I could not find Maybe you can and if you find more information
• 5:24
about that, please send it to me.
• 5:26
It, it just drives home the point that the silver market is
• 5:29
so delicate, sensitive and there's a lot of things going on
• 5:37
all around the world that will impact the the silver market as
• 5:41
we move forward. Next big story.
• 5:43
And then yes, we're going to get to 500 dollar $300 silver and
• 5:47
even $800 silver and Oh my gosh, it's everywhere.
• 5:52
Price floors, big news out yesterday regarding Scott
• 5:56
Besant, our Treasury Secretary and price floors on silver.
• 6:01
The government potentially setting price floors.
• 6:03
And there's some pretty compelling evidence that we may
• 6:06
be seeing that sooner as opposed to later.
• 6:09
If you want to get your hands on some silver before a floor comes
• 6:12
about right there first meant they are the silver specialist
• 6:16
meant that's all they do is meant silver owned by First
• 6:20
Majestic Silver. They mined the mint and mined
• 6:23
the silver in Mexico. Send it to 1st Mint in Las
• 6:27
Vegas, NV where they create these like this, right?
• 6:32
They're year of the horse silver coin.
• 6:34
That's just one of the many products they have.
• 6:37
And then it goes directly to you from the mine to the mint to
• 6:40
you. Let me bring you out to their
• 6:42
website. Then we're going to talk about
• 6:43
price floors. Here is the first Mint website.
• 6:48
OK, free shipping, $299, a great customer service, great quality
• 6:53
products and great prices. There's their Las Vegas round
• 6:58
the Liberty Bar, which is brand new, and there's the Year of the
• 7:02
Horse that I showed you, So check them out.
• 7:04
Hey, while we're out here, I also want to say thank you to
• 7:07
Brixton Metals for sponsoring Ron's Basement.
• 7:10
They are a Canadian metals exploration company with four
• 7:15
projects as you can see on your screen, all in Canada and North
• 7:18
America. And they do have a big strategic
• 7:21
investment in their company from BHP, who is one of the world's,
• 7:26
if not the world's largest mining company.
• 7:28
And of course our friends at First Mining Gold, Canadian Gold
• 7:31
development stage company with two multi million ounce projects
• 7:35
in Canada, Spring Pole in Ontario and Du Parquet in
• 7:39
Quebec. And guys, there aren't a lot of
• 7:42
big gold deposits out there that are left.
• 7:45
But let's talk about silver price floors and look at some
• 7:49
evidence and some reasons why we can be excited down here in the
• 7:54
  basement. Let's start with this.
• 7:57
Hold on one second. Hold on.
• 8:02
  Wrong one. There we go.
• 8:04
OK, we're start. Here was a post from TF Metals
• 8:08
Report. If you're interested in silver,
• 8:10
you better pay attention to this.
• 8:12
And this was a tweet that came out from Treasury Secretary
• 8:15
Scott Percent. I won't read it all to you.
• 8:17
Basically, he said, I met with the Mexican secretary of Finance
• 8:20
and we talked about big issues going on in the world economy,
• 8:24
including critical minerals. Now let's go to this.
• 8:27
And then I got something super exciting and interesting to read
• 8:32
to you from NBA Economics. The action plan that Besant is
• 8:36
referencing is attached. It outlines price floors with
• 8:40
other countries, including Mexico, the largest silver
• 8:48
producer in the world. Don't say we didn't warn you
• 8:52
when the importance of silver is redefined.
• 8:56
Now let's pull up this memo that NBA Economics shared.
• 9:01
This is from the United States Mexico Critical Minerals Action
• 9:05
Plan. As I've highlighted for you in
• 9:08
blue, this is where it gets shocking, OK?
• 9:12
It says. To this end, the United States
• 9:15
and the United Mexican States, also known as Mexico, seek to
• 9:19
develop a new paradigm for preferential trade in critical
• 9:25
  minerals. That would include silver
• 9:31
because silver is on the United States critical mineral list,
• 9:35
supported by price floors and other measures.
• 9:41
Who knows what they have up their sleeves.
• 9:44
I bet they'll get the COMEX involved anyway and have
• 9:47
established an action plan to deliver concrete near term
• 9:52
results towards securing mutual supply chain resilience for
• 9:57
critical minerals. Oh my gosh, I'm tempted to
• 10:00
reread that to you, but it's pretty obvious guys that they're
• 10:05
going to set price floors for critical minerals.
• 10:08
  Silver's a critical mineral. Mexico is the world's, I don't
• 10:12
know if they're the world, but there was the biggest, one of
• 10:16
the biggest, if not the biggest producer of silver.
• 10:19
This is massive breaking news and good news for the silver
• 10:24
sector And, and in total. OK, now there's one guy that I
• 10:30
think is the smartest, the most up and coming.
• 10:34
And now I actually established analyst in the world of gold and
• 10:38
silver and he does a lot of focus on silver.
• 10:41
It's Jesse Colombo from the bubble bubble report.
• 10:44
He's got a, it's called the sub stack that he puts out that you
• 10:47
can subscribe to if you like. It cost money.
• 10:50
I don't subscribe to it, but he puts out little blurbs, little
• 10:53
teasers, and he's talking about 300 to $500 silver.
• 10:58
And when Jesse Colombo says that we're going to perk up.
• 11:00
Let's go get just a few details of why he's saying this is the
• 11:06
case. All right, here we are.
• 11:11
We are at the bubble. Bubble Report.
• 11:14
Got to love it. There's Jesse in the upper left
• 11:16
corner. Oh, hold on, Let's go to the
• 11:19
  top. Silver is breaking out.
• 11:21
All right, Jesse. Silver's rebound from the dark
• 11:23
days of March, Remember, that led to a recent breakout from a
• 11:27
triangle pattern, which is an encouraging sign.
• 11:30
We're going to go a lot deeper than the triangle pattern, guys.
• 11:33
But he says as a reminder, Silver remains in an uptrend as
• 11:36
indicated by its upward sloping 200 day moving average.
• 11:40
Don't worry, there's a lot more, which signals that momentum
• 11:44
continues to favor the upside as you can see on this chart, But
• 11:49
you can see my cursor, that's the 200 day moving average
• 11:52
continues to move up. Now, he goes on to say a key
• 11:56
feature of Silver's correction over the past few months is the
• 12:00
downtrend line that formed the top of the triangle pattern.
• 12:04
And Silver's breakout above that line represents a very important
• 12:08
bullish change in trend, indicating that the correction
• 12:12
is most likely behind us. But wait, there's a lot more
• 12:17
from Jesse and we've talked about this ad nauseam, right?
• 12:20
The triangle pattern as we can see there and as you can clearly
• 12:25
see, hold on, why is that not a racing?
• 12:28
There we go, right, right here. We broke out OK and today so far
• 12:35
we broke out even more, which is a good thing.
• 12:38
Now this is where it gets interesting.
• 12:40
In order to feel even more confident that the correction is
• 12:44
over, I would also like to see Silver close above the 95 to
• 12:49
$100 resistance zone that formed at the late February peak next,
• 12:55
and then then go through the 115 to $120.00 resistance zone that
• 13:02
formed at the late January peak after that.
• 13:05
  Breakouts above horizontal resistance.
• 13:09
So we're not talking about the triangle anymore, we're talking
• 13:11
about breaking through that 101, fifteen, 120 level, OK Breakouts
• 13:17
above horizontal resistance levels and zones are more
• 13:20
reliable than breakouts above diagonal resistance lines like
• 13:24
the top of the triangle pattern. OK, so I I would like to see
• 13:28
those zones surpassed for added assurance.
• 13:31
Once that happens, I expect silver's bull market to heat up
• 13:36
significantly again and I see silver surging.
• 13:40
Take your blood pressure medicine with me to at least 300
• 13:45
to $500 over the course of this bull market.
• 13:50
As I explained in this report that you will have to upgrade to
• 13:54
a paid membership to get to. So thank you Jesse for the
• 13:58
information that you did share with us.
• 14:00
And again, guys, he's like considered to be like 1 of
• 14:04
seriously the top analyst out there.
• 14:08
And we also know Michael Oliver. What's Michael Oliver?
• 14:11
Michael Oliver saying we can get the 200, 300 and $500 silver by
• 14:15
the summer. What month is it right now?
• 14:18
  Huh? It's April.
• 14:19
It's not April Fool's Day. You know, I was talking last
• 14:22
night to two executives, smart guys from a big bullion dealer
• 14:26
company. We were talking about silver and
• 14:29
just what a smart investment that it feels like.
• 14:31
And then we started and then we, I joked around with them and I
• 14:34
said, hey, maybe Michael Oliver will be right.
• 14:37
And we'll get 200 to $500 silver by this by the summer.
• 14:40
And they said, yeah, right. But then we brought up a very
• 14:43
important part because both of us, we followed what I said
• 14:46
this, I followed Michael Oliver for years, OK, super respected
• 14:51
guy. And I said, you know, he's not a
• 14:53
permeable. He's not somebody who's always
• 14:55
saying gold and silver are going to go higher and higher.
• 14:59
I remember sitting down here guys, you know, this cold
• 15:02
basement shaking 3-4 years ago when silver was at $20.00 an
• 15:08
ounce. And we were like the lone wolves
• 15:10
in the world of silver and gold. And I would watch a Michael
• 15:13
Oliver video where he would talk about where he thought silver
• 15:16
and gold were going and he would say he thought they were going
• 15:19
down. I told the guys last time, like,
• 15:20
I used to get depressed sometimes, right?
• 15:23
Like he's, he's not a guy who's constantly out there telling us
• 15:27
that the silver and gold price are going to go higher.
• 15:30
So we'll see how that all plays out.
• 15:33
Oh, you want a little more fun? We got more.
• 15:37
Hey, by the way, if you enjoy your time down here in the
• 15:39
basement, please subscribe to the channel, give the video
• 15:42
thumbs up, leave a comment in the comment section.
• 15:46
All of those are free. We really appreciate you joining
• 15:49
us. We love this community that we
• 15:51
have of basement dwellers. But let's look at some more good
• 15:57
  news. Optimistic, wildly optimistic
• 16:00
when it comes to silver. This came from for Roshi
• 16:03
research. He said look away from this post
• 16:06
if you're bearish on silver or gold.
• 16:10
Are you ready for metals mania Part 2?
• 16:15
And look at this chart that he's he's lining out for us.
• 16:19
We've got a massive this is like along the lines of Michael
• 16:23
Oliver. This goes out to about hold on
• 16:26
here, hold on guys. This goes out till about June.
• 16:32
And we, as you can see, have, According to him, right, there's
• 16:36
that this is that horizontal type resistance area that Jesse
• 16:40
Colombo's talking about. Once we get through that, based
• 16:43
on these trends, right, that he's drawing back there, we
• 16:47
  could have a 150. That's 150 right there, a 150
• 16:53
silver by June. Now look, you know, hold on.
• 17:03
Please always be responsible. I'm not a financial advisor, OK?
• 17:08
Everything has risk. Gold, silver, stocks, bonds,
• 17:11
mutual funds, real estate, cryptocurrency, baseball cards,
• 17:14
Pokémon cards, any of that. The only advice I'd always give
• 17:18
everybody out there is always be responsible.
• 17:21
Make sure you diversify to a certain extent and go to a
• 17:24
financial advisor if you don't understand what's what's going
• 17:27
on. I don't ever want anyone to be
• 17:30
hurt by putting too many of their eggs, having voice
• 17:34
instrument issues today by putting too many of their eggs
• 17:37
into one basket. OK, while we're out there, let's
• 17:42
go look at what the major banks are telling us.
• 17:44
The big banks. Why is it important?
• 17:47
Because the big traditional banks are saying some incredible
• 17:51
things about the silver price. And for this, we're going to go
• 18:03
to the one and only International Stacker.
• 18:06
Now I got it up on your screen. Sorry about that.
• 18:08
Hey guys, check out International Stacker.
• 18:10
He does a lot of live streams also really great content and a
• 18:14
super fast growing channel in the world of YouTube and
• 18:18
precious metals. But he puts this out, major
• 18:20
banks are getting extremely bullish on silver.
• 18:24
What a great list. Here's the latest high end
• 18:27
  forecast from the top institutions.
• 18:30
Bank of America anywhere from 135 to 309 dollars silver.
• 18:35
They put that out in February 2026.
• 18:38
Citigroup over 200,000 employees, 150 to $170 silver.
• 18:44
BMO Capital Markets 150 to $160 per oz silver.
• 18:49
TD Securities 180, $18.00 silver, CIBC big Canadian Bank
• 18:55
105 and our favorite German bank, Duichi Bank, Duichi Bank
• 19:01
$100 silver. They put that out on February
• 19:05
26th of 2026. And if you hadn't had enough
• 19:10
already, hey, look, I'm just reporting the news and this that
• 19:13
book those, those are the major banks with major massive, what
• 19:18
is that telling us? Predictions for the silver
• 19:20
price. We looked Jesse Columbo talking
• 19:24
about A and it's not we're not talking.
• 19:26
Jesse didn't say by the summer, but he's talking about the
• 19:28
potential long term potential for silver, 300 to $500 silver.
• 19:34
What do you think? North Star bad Charts says?
• 19:37
Right? Another highly respected name in
• 19:41
the world of precious metals. They actually go as far as to
• 19:44
mention the potential for $800 silver.
• 19:49
Hold on, let's give them their due.
• 19:51
This is North Star Patrick Karen with North Star Bad Charts on X.
• 19:56
He says road map for $20,000 gold and $800 silver.
• 20:02
Huge reaction on that possible 45 year breakdown line for
• 20:05
stocks versus silver. So we're going to compare the
• 20:08
Dow to silver. If we get a bounce in Q2, it
• 20:12
will officially morph into existence, making it a critical
• 20:16
and valid line. Big moves for gold, silver, oil
• 20:20
  and friends. Below that, OK.
• 20:22
So on this chart, what this shows circle this up here is
• 20:27
stocks versus silver, the ratio of the Dow Jones Industrial
• 20:32
Average. See if I can move this somewhere
• 20:35
to silver or put it way over here, OK?
• 20:39
And as you can see right right now, this is where we are right
• 20:44
now. We're at about oh, NO600650.
• 20:48
So if you divide the Dow Jones Industrial average, let's say
• 20:52
49,000 by the price of silver, you're going to get about 656
• 20:57
six between 6 and 700 something right around this area right
• 21:02
over here. As you can see, there's the
• 21:04
trend line, the 45 year trend line that he's talking about,
• 21:09
OK, back in 1980, we went all the way down here, OK, on that
• 21:15
ratio, all the way down to like 2526 to one.
• 21:19
What he's saying is if that ratio of the Dow Jones
• 21:22
Industrial average to silver breaks down like it certainly
• 21:26
can, there's nothing this it happened before, it can happen
• 21:31
again. Don't we always hear history has
• 21:33
a way of rhyming or repeating? If we get all the way down here,
• 21:37
look at this right, That equals $20,000 gold, $800 silver and
• 21:44
$300 per barrel crude oil. Even if we don't get all the way
• 21:50
down there, let's say we get to about right here, OK, You know,
• 21:55
we're still talking silver in the 250 to $280 range.
• 21:59
So look, these are not crazy predictions, not as crazy as
• 22:05
they might feel. I want to tell you a quick
• 22:07
story. We used to sit down here.
• 22:09
A lot of you are new, right? The new and welcome, You're
• 22:12
always welcome here in the basement in this community of
• 22:14
basement dwellers. But if you look right there,
• 22:17
right, there's a little teddy bear with two silver eyes.
• 22:20
He used to be blindfolded and his blindfold said 85, $5.
• 22:25
And we would sit down here when silver was at $2522 per oz and
• 22:30
say when the silver price gets to $85, we'll take that
• 22:34
blindfold off. You know what people said?
• 22:36
They said you're crazy. I would get mean emails.
• 22:39
That would hurt, right? It would like I would be, my
• 22:42
hands would start to sweat. People would say you're
• 22:45
misleading people. Silver will never get silver,
• 22:48
will never get above $50 per oz. Well, you know what happened,
• 22:54
right? You know where we got in
• 22:56
January, $120.00 silver. So think about right now, silver
• 23:01
from that period went from $20.00 an ounce to $85 an ounce.
• 23:06
That's 4X if we're at $80 silver today or higher.
• 23:13
If we go up 4X from that, that's $300.
• 23:16
I know, I understand. It seems like incredible.
• 23:21
It seems unlikely, but I think the reality is when we look at
• 23:25
all these different charts, all these different relationships,
• 23:29
if we look at history in history, we can say one thing
• 23:34
for sure about history. History does repeat itself that
• 23:39
we could be in for massive big moves in the price of gold and
• 23:43
silver. I want to do it with you.
• 23:45
I want you to come back to the basement.
• 23:47
  Thank you. Right.
