- 0:34Good evening, Happy New Year. We are back with episode 5 and
- 0:39we're all here tonight, Bill, Mike, Josh and myself.
- 0:42How you doing tonight Mike? Oh, I'm doing okay.
- 0:47I'm just enjoying a Sunday off before.
- 0:49Get back at it tomorrow. Josh, how are you been doing?
- 0:54Doing pretty good. I decided to after yesterday,
- 0:59I'm no longer going to be an RCA.
- 1:01I'm going back to regular, we had one of the two girls from my
- 1:06zone was all Friday yesterday and tomorrow, and helped out
- 1:12Friday and yesterday and after 8th at 7, something decided yet.
- 1:21Nope, I'm done delivered, all my packages and brought my,
- 1:25whatever mail I have from my route back, which is Just like
- 1:27an hour and a half of riding. And went in first thing this
- 1:31morning and yeah, just quickly ran that mail and in-game home.
- 1:38Bill Bill. How's your New Year?
- 1:41Been treating you. Oh, my god.
- 1:46Sunday delivery was at authorized, like, no wonder
- 1:51management has a shit fit with us.
- 1:55My New Year's been good yesterday.
- 1:58I was my dropped day, the schedule wasn't up, I didn't go
- 2:02in and I spent the day with my grandson.
- 2:04So it was a great day and Today, the Eagles, clinch, the NFC
- 2:10East. So it's even better and
- 2:12tomorrow, I go in and face the shitstorm for my route because
- 2:15nobody delivered mail on Saturday.
- 2:19So, and being as usual. Yeah, same here.
- 2:22I mean, going to be in as a non Sunday, Amazon office and we
- 2:27think Amazon's trying to catch up from the blizzards that hit
- 2:31the Midwest area and us. And so they've been extending
- 2:35their weekend, drop-off past the holiday next week.
- 2:38Will be our last Saturday Sunday drop off.
- 2:41So I did go in and run Amazon for the key route.
- 2:45I'm running tomorrow and the one that was running, we had two
- 2:49regulars and myself and the newer RCA who finally gets to do
- 2:53is OJT this week, come in and run.
- 2:57We ran all but two routes and the other one he ran his Big
- 3:05route, and decide and took my Ox route packages out with him as
- 3:09well. So tomorrow, depending on what
- 3:11the mail, truck brings us should be a fairly easy day.
- 3:17At least you were an inch was exciting in Wyoming.
- 3:22Oh yeah, I heard about that 13,000 packages.
- 3:28Yeah, that was with an estimated 120 packages for open our yeah.
- 3:38I mean they close to other branches to the public to bring
- 3:44the employees. Yeah.
- 3:46To the public, to bring the all the employees over to sort and
- 3:52delivered those packages. Yeah.
- 3:54Well, I saw that. That's just crazy to saving
- 3:59Monday night, Tuesday morning is when this happened.
- 4:02Yeah. Yeah, I know I saw that.
- 4:08I was like that is just insane. I couldn't imagine and I guess
- 4:12they had more trucks waiting to come in still too.
- 4:16From what I read, I don't know. The, I only saw the link to one
- 4:23article and I I don't know. I know what I want.
- 4:27It was local paper. When I walked back into my
- 4:35office yesterday, evening, when I got back off the routes, I
- 4:42noticed that there was now getting my, I have a smaller
- 4:45office compared to you. You three.
- 4:48So you know, 66 full routes and aux route and two-and-a-half
- 4:53City routes. I say two and a half because the
- 4:55ones an ox. So, when we have 39 ft tall,
- 5:01pallets of Amazon's sitting there for 10, Zip code and two
- 5:07other, almost full pallets for the other two zip codes, which
- 5:11are only the ones that code has one 48k and the other one has a
- 5:1743k in my Ox route. So, you know, that's quite a bit
- 5:21and they were coming in and dropping off more of the today.
- 5:24In fact, what they dropped off today wasn't nearly as bad, it
- 5:27was a couple small barely, I would say one or two rows tie
- 5:32for the Zip codes and then 14 and then just one palette for
- 5:39the main zip code. So she had those all broke down
- 5:42and I took everything out for the one route, that Iran today
- 5:48that I'm running tomorrow, I took everything out, except for
- 5:53the one business, the one shop, because obviously they're closed
- 5:58on Sunday. So they'll have three Amazon
- 6:00packages tomorrow. And then one other heavy One
- 6:04that I'd already taken for packages out in this, must have
- 6:07been on that other skid that she broke down because I had to stop
- 6:10and use the bathroom because, you know, coffee was kicking in
- 6:14and so I grab whatever. I'll grab two more packages that
- 6:17were still there. And I saw that one.
- 6:19I'm like I've already been to his house.
- 6:20He'll get it tomorrow and took off.
- 6:23So yeah, I literally have to Amazon stops tomorrow, so it's
- 6:26basically whatever comes off the truck that I'll have between the
- 6:30two routes. So that'll make my Monday a lot
- 6:34easier. Yeah we finally get to do some
- 6:39OJT the new sub that's been helping deliver, the package has
- 6:44the last few weeks. We finally get to train him on
- 6:48his route this week. We'll see how that goes and then
- 6:53I've got another one that will be in Academy this week.
- 6:57He Actually, applied back at the end of August, if hectic at tell
- 7:04you guys, anything, he was supposed to go to orientation
- 7:08this week week. We can well, not this past week,
- 7:13but the previous week, and as he was getting ready to leave to
- 7:17drive the two hours to orientation or postmaster, got a
- 7:19hold of him and told him, nope. It's been delayed because he
- 7:23wasn't on the payroll system yet.
- 7:26It took from the end of August, so now to get him hired and then
- 7:29delayed another week, because he wasn't in the payroll system,
- 7:33got that tank care about his orientation defensive driving
- 7:37and Shadow day and Lov. Trey this past week, goes to
- 7:40Academy this week and then I get to train him on his route, the
- 7:45following week, so that'll be fun.
- 7:52You just can't make this shit up and then R1 R1, C, CA because we
- 7:57have two full-time twofold routes and then an ox route on
- 8:01the city side. And we have two regular
- 8:03carriers, a PT F who's also training 204 B and one CCA.
- 8:10And of course he's not he's getting gypped on the hours
- 8:13because of the other three. So he we've been trying to
- 8:18trying to get him to come to the rural side for quite a while.
- 8:21Now and he told us today because he was in delivering packages
- 8:24that he is going to cross over to the dark side.
- 8:28But right after his vacation I said good, because the route
- 8:31you're going to want the one I'm running because she loves to
- 8:33take her time off. So that was actually kind of
- 8:39cool to hear that he actually is serious about jumping to the
- 8:42other side now. So that'll help out And then
- 8:50while I have one more K route that needs a sub but I can cover
- 8:54that one until then she's a Monday K day.
- 8:56Anyway, so So yeah, so isn't this interesting?
- 9:05What we were talking about previous 22 recording here is
- 9:11this many mail survey that National has yet to inform us of
- 9:18any delay moments yet? I know there's been quite a bit
- 9:21of talk and Facebook groups and other forums about, Words coming
- 9:28down from management about it being delayed and I got an email
- 9:36from my Dr. With training that starts at the starts, the 19th
- 9:43of this month through the second week of February.
- 9:49So, I guess without it still has not officially been announced.
- 9:55Are we surprised by any of this? No, not really, but it looks
- 10:00like training does start all stewards are going, that's what
- 10:03she was letting me know. She did call me to say hey I
- 10:07just want to make sure you got my email said yep.
- 10:09Yep. Yep to pick a date and location
- 10:12to go do the mini mail survey training that Management's going
- 10:16to receive. So when do you think we are
- 10:20going To get the official word on this guy's.
- 10:27Well. if you quote previous leadership, Past practice.
- 10:39It will be the week before, or it'll be probably next week,
- 10:43which is the week before the training starts.
- 10:46Now the left word that the count was supposed to start, which is
- 10:51about the week before training starts.
- 10:58Yeah, because I actually had read a Facebook group post where
- 11:04my state B vice president had made that he had gotten informed
- 11:08by his postmaster. Who had received an email,
- 11:11stating the training and the when it was actually going to
- 11:17happen and he then had to then had contacted a r Dr. And got
- 11:23confirmation on it yet, there is still been no word from National
- 11:35Your reason I know of such things is.
- 11:41The buddy of mine is a world UPS person for the district and he
- 11:48actually just got a promotion to National mapping, whatever,
- 11:52whatever, whatever. He told me, he told me, you know
- 12:00what the tentative dates were going to be and he actually is
- 12:03going. I think it's the Texas to get
- 12:06trained. Yeah, but don't tell to training
- 12:09management from what I understand on.
- 12:17Training's going to occur during Southwest area conference.
- 12:26From what I understand. Crickets guys Bell with the
- 12:39thing. That the things that frustrates
- 12:41me is we you know, is like you said we're hearing it from,
- 12:47We're hearing, you know, Facebook other Facebook groups
- 12:50and you know I'm hearing this from a guy I know.
- 12:55And that is what where is National leadership?
- 12:58Why isn't National leadership leading?
- 13:01We should be getting stuff? why aren't we getting
- 13:07announcements heal through the through the app to the website
- 13:10through something saying, hey and then, you know that the the
- 13:16mini mail survey has been rescheduled to the, you know,
- 13:19the last two weeks of February or whatever it is today or
- 13:22whatever the days are and No, the one that should be happening
- 13:30and then it does beg. The question they pushed the
- 13:33last one off because there was concerns of the transparency of
- 13:38the numbers of those issues been resolved yet because it's cold,
- 13:42I was told, yes, they have resolved that they have resolved
- 13:46that On getting those, those numbers that they were having
- 13:52concerns about implemented into the system, to get credited to
- 13:57each route. Okay?
- 13:59But then again, why aren't we getting told that, you know, we
- 14:03shouldn't. We shouldn't have to beg this
- 14:05from our, our Union, from our from our national leadership.
- 14:09They should be safe. They should be out front of.
- 14:11They should be out in front with this, you know, right.
- 14:15I think there would be a lot. There would be a bill, just
- 14:17saying there would be a lot less.
- 14:19Mission and a lot more support for this.
- 14:22If they were telling us what was going on every step of, you
- 14:26know, as this process goes on instead of treating us like
- 14:29mushrooms. Well it's just like they didn't
- 14:33tell you on some tip from September 2nd about Abby and
- 14:36push back to January February and now it seems pushed back
- 14:40even further and they haven't told you.
- 14:43They didn't tell you that your back pay would being pushed off
- 14:47into met 2023. But they fought for it because
- 14:51they didn't want to lose their election at the convention
- 14:53because if they do put that news out there, all their asses would
- 14:56have been out of there. Because it's politics.
- 15:02Yes, yes. Because we don't matter to them.
- 15:11Okay, so Pallets of Wyoming. I just posted in the general
- 15:27chat. A bunch of pictures and I look
- 15:31the date that I have in my in my photo gallery is December 4th of
- 15:372019. This was my office at the time
- 15:40that was 60 plus containers whether it be cages bmc's a PCS
- 15:49pallets The acid to get worse. That's all Parcels.
- 15:57That's a lot of parcels. Yeah it was I want to say that
- 16:02that was a RI say that I have re saved them in December of
- 16:06nineteen said, that was actually from a blizzard That came
- 16:11through just before Valentine's Day.
- 16:14When Valentine's Day was on a Saturday.
- 16:19And even up in New York because of that, even up in New York,
- 16:22they couldn't deliver the back. They like flower, deliveries
- 16:27couldn't get through, it was so bad.
- 16:31And this was actually the Tuesday night after we had 60
- 16:37packets, 60 containers, and then the following night at 6 p.m.
- 16:42when I They still had 60 containers to work because
- 16:46whatever they had thrown off, they gotten back the trucks and
- 16:50dropped off that much more. Yeah, it's saying, I mean,
- 16:58looking at what we've gotten just making up for and we know
- 17:02the stuff was when you know, to be delivered Before Christmas
- 17:06because we've been getting comments from customers as we're
- 17:09delivering going. This was supposed to be here
- 17:11before Christmas and really get. We can't deliver it, but we
- 17:15don't have it. Yep.
- 17:22Well, we had better weather work, we had better weather
- 17:25where I was at. So I haven't seen a lot of
- 17:30stuff. I don't think we had a lot of
- 17:34stuff to land and judging by the amount of parcels we pushed out.
- 17:37I don't think we were delaying anything at least in my office.
- 17:41So, we had a few few light days just before Christmas.
- 17:47And then, you know, it was light and then it's kind of come in
- 17:51spurts. My leg and on your guys, isn't.
- 18:04Yep. Long as not just me you know
- 18:11it's not just you Bill Lord. Yeah there's been email surveys
- 18:22that that's just icing on the cake, isn't it?
- 18:26Yeah it is I mean yeah you talking ten years we're going
- 18:29into the 11th year of Rex. Yeah.
- 18:33And it's still not done yet and and it's been pushed back at
- 18:36least another 30 days because Garantia, we won't have our
- 18:40training before the end of January.
- 18:45So, how you gonna do it, you know, and until that time, are
- 18:49they gonna do it District by District or state by state?
- 18:52What what are they going to do? As far as doing the survey as
- 18:56soon as soon as everybody's trained?
- 18:59I mean Jesus that's what I don't get this really don't.
- 19:03And that's what it's looking like.
- 19:05From when I was looking at the schedule that I have, like I
- 19:08said, we were talking off the Record.
- 19:11Um, I you know, I I, I like I gave you guys who your District
- 19:16trainers are on both. The USPS and Union side of
- 19:23things and that training schedule goes all the way up to
- 19:26middle February and then make updates just in case it's
- 19:29needed. So I'm going to, I'm not going
- 19:34to necessarily say assume, but I'm going to guess that they're
- 19:37going to have all the stewards and they want all the stewards
- 19:40and management trained within a week before it actually starts.
- 19:51Yeah, I just don't just trying to find a way to say this.
- 19:57I mean, I mean it's I think on the one hand, it's good that
- 20:01they're, you know, at least getting the training done.
- 20:03At least our Union side is getting, at least something at
- 20:07least their training on it. You know, II there's the
- 20:11frustration that it's being, it's being pushed back again.
- 20:15It's taken 11 years. I know all that.
- 20:18I understand the frustration with All that believe me I'm
- 20:21frustrated too because I would like to get, you know, some sort
- 20:26of evaluation of my route again just to make sure that the
- 20:32evaluation is accurate. And you know, I worry Well, not
- 20:39worry. But you know in my office we
- 20:41lost FSS and over 20 of our routes went overburdened and
- 20:46they got, you know, routes got cut new routes got created.
- 20:50And this that we're supposed to We were supposed to have at
- 20:53least on my side of town. We were supposed to have our
- 20:56route squared up and you know, Rex has pushed that back.
- 20:59So I would like to, you know, find out what my you route is
- 21:03going to look like on my You said that, you got rid of that's
- 21:09and then they adjusted your routes.
- 21:12Well, all the routes went up after your F, went up after a
- 21:16fast. So yeah, I went from a 43 to a
- 21:2145 after after we lost FSS. But did they do adjustments?
- 21:28After the FSS was pulled? No, there's no good night.
- 21:34The way you said it sounded like that.
- 21:35You got all bumped up and then they adjusted yet.
- 21:39Well, No, yeah, no, no route adjustments, nothing.
- 21:45You know. Like like but you know, we had
- 21:47like, you know, we had like aurochs are 1 Ox route between
- 21:54the two offices, became a regular route, and then they
- 21:57established another Ox route on our side and it became a regular
- 22:00route and then they established Then they established another
- 22:08aux route on our side and then they added like an 800 unit
- 22:13apartment condo complex on it. So it's a regular route now and,
- 22:19you know, they established a couple of small routes from the
- 22:21end they made, you know. So all the routes got bigger,
- 22:25but they're but at least on our side of town they were supposed
- 22:30with with the the route that got the big apartment complex.
- 22:36There. They management was going to,
- 22:40you know, quote Square bar routes.
- 22:43And my understanding was that big apartment complex was going
- 22:46to start shoving, everything North.
- 22:49So a lot of folks were going to be getting new.
- 22:56We're going to be getting new territory.
- 22:58And, but at the same time, we're going to have a lot of routes
- 23:01not crossing over each other anymore.
- 23:03So, But all of the tracks, put all of that on hold.
- 23:07So so what waiting for all of that to happen at Sea than how
- 23:13than how everything falls out? Well, I don't know about the any
- 23:17of the other state actions had up SS, but I can tell you, the
- 23:21are three routes that were on FSS.
- 23:26Went up somewhere between 60 and 70.
- 23:29Some minutes standard hours. I went up 64, standard minutes,
- 23:36the other two routes for both 45s there.
- 23:39Now, 46 has So I'm not sure what their actual, you know, how
- 23:43many, how much actual time they gain, when it went away on New
- 23:48Year's Eve. Hey Bill, well, I want K 44 to
- 23:54akb48 on the verge of an 49, I was just gonna say.
- 23:59Now, what did you do? Because I know you called me
- 24:01that one day when I was out on the route, to let me know how
- 24:04much you do it. Yeah, I jump four steps and it's
- 24:10like yeah and we had H routes become K routes.
- 24:15Which kind of which kind of pissed them off because they
- 24:18were high agents and now, they're low.
- 24:19Ches, yeah. They look like five or six
- 24:23thousand dollars. Hey, but they got a Yeah, you
- 24:31need a carrier. Well, the worst part of it is
- 24:43that we have to redo the entire Matrix, okay.
- 24:48And we have a supervisor has a hard time picking out what sauce
- 24:51she wants from Chick-fil-A. So good luck on that, huh?
- 24:57Yeah. So we have now to get our
- 25:01resident rule, carrier specialist who read it around
- 25:04several years ago and put 24 houses at the end of a K, 46
- 25:11route, which is four and a half miles away from the end of the
- 25:15K, 46 route. So now it's technically a k-50
- 25:21calf, strap, SS wet. And he's going to redo the
- 25:26formula. I have plenty of faith in postal
- 25:33management. I'm telling you. so, back to do,
- 25:41we all Back to Rex. I would say with Mike's, I was
- 25:46in with Mike's concern there with You know is evaluation you
- 25:52know wondering his evaluation is a good segue to what someone had
- 25:58a you know Chris has written it commented on your post earlier
- 26:02about what should we discuss. Yeah this is the importance of
- 26:08the scans and the being part of the, of the job description.
- 26:13Yes. There are six mandatory scans
- 26:16that you are required to do each day.
- 26:19But those, what actually Four. Totals possible scans for
- 26:25various credit. Yeah I am notorious for getting
- 26:29for forgetting the postage due scan that I will admit I am at
- 26:36Aureus forgetting forgetting that one but I do know you know
- 26:42this is out for the RCA's. I'm going to make a little RCA
- 26:48get on my Podium here for a moment as an RCA I have been
- 26:52around. Around just over eight years
- 26:55now. I've been through the old mail
- 26:58counts. I started in a study office for
- 27:04Rex. And then I have in return, was
- 27:09help trained. My office as a local Steward on
- 27:12these wrecks cans, These scans are important.
- 27:18These scans are your pay. Now, I know we have been
- 27:22preaching. This the four of us all along
- 27:25for, for, for quite a long time now.
- 27:31As an RCA, I get it. If you're in one of those
- 27:34unicorn offices, that's fully staffed.
- 27:38And I might call that a unicorn office, because they're a dime,
- 27:41a dozen right now. You know, there's very few fully
- 27:45staffed office is out there at the moment and I get it, you may
- 27:49not be working all, but one day a week, Or you may be helping in
- 27:54other offices to get the extra hours.
- 27:55I know I've been there in the in the past.
- 27:58These scans are your pay. That Rowdy evaluation is your
- 28:02pay regardless of how often or not often you run a route or
- 28:08whatever route it is. I cover all the route to my
- 28:12office. I do those scans that I can
- 28:16remember. On every route. and, It's, it's
- 28:28important. I have heard of, you know, I
- 28:33mean I get some of those Skins are not quite Prevalent. but, Or
- 28:51seem like a waste of time, but yeah, they need to be done.
- 28:59They are important. In regards to unscannable
- 29:08Parcels, I know that's a big one.
- 29:10Flats are not unscannable parcels If you have a flat,
- 29:17that's counted as a flat and you have to take it to the door,
- 29:20that's a door miscellaneous. If you have a A parcel and
- 29:30actual parcel that doesn't have a scan.
- 29:32Its metered that's an unscannable parcel.
- 29:36If you have one that you can't, the barcode has been ripped off.
- 29:41That's an unscannable parcel, something like that isn't on
- 29:45scannable. Parcel.
- 29:46A flat is a flat. If you have to take it to the
- 29:48door for whatever reason, it's under door, must go.
- 29:52Lanius And hold on. I'm going to pause this.
- 30:02And we'll be right back. Okay, and we're back in and what
- 30:12we were talking about is the importance of the Rex scans,
- 30:15especially for RCA's. So, okay, you guys here and me a
- 30:22little bit better now. Am I lagging far?
- 30:27Okay, all right, where I was going out with that, I'll just
- 30:32edit it out the first part, whatever.
- 30:35But Rex scans, they are important, your evaluation, your
- 30:43pay even as an RCA. Is based on the evaluation of
- 30:48that route. So yes, you will.
- 30:53It is important. No matter if you're a regular
- 30:55and RCA, you are running a PT F, you are running a route.
- 31:01Those scans are important to that route that you repay.
- 31:06We were going with the unscannable parcel.
- 31:09Clarifications now bill, I want you to hop in and correct me if
- 31:14needed, but unscannable Parcels are just that, that is a parcel.
- 31:19A parser All not a flat that doesn't is unable to scan,
- 31:26whether the barcode is destroyed, or it's a metered
- 31:30parcel or its a prepaid first class, parcel that doesn't have
- 31:35a code on it. That's not scared of a parcel.
- 31:39If it is a flat that doesn't because it's rigid and doesn't
- 31:43or photos, you know, we get school photos, team photos,
- 31:49pictures, in flat that are flats.
- 31:51They're counted as Flats then need to go to the door because
- 31:55their mailbox so small and they don't fit in there.
- 31:57That is a door Miska lanius. Am I correct bill?
- 32:04I'll disagree with you on that. Okay on this base.
- 32:07Okay, on this basis. If something like the the school
- 32:13pictures the diploma comes in a tub, it can be considered a flat
- 32:21and you can deliver to the door as a door miscellaneous.
- 32:24If they are thrown in your hamper with your Parcels, we
- 32:28count them as parcel there. Yeah.
- 32:30That there you go to Okay, if you have the a semi-rigid,
- 32:37oversized calendars or, you know, what do you call those?
- 32:47Fundraising items like from the Indian tribe, the Veterans
- 32:50Administration and stuff like that.
- 32:53They are considered unscannable Parcels if they're in your
- 32:56hamper. Now mine will come in the flat
- 33:01case nine times out of ten Well, okay, six times out of 10, they
- 33:10come out and come in our hampers, okay?
- 33:12Yeah, we do. If you could not sit, if it was
- 33:39rigid and you could not case it without affecting the mail that
- 33:43was already in the case. It would be considered a parcel,
- 33:49does that rule still in effect that rule still in effect of?
- 33:53It does not fit in that one inch or, you know slot then?
- 33:56Yes, that's still in effect. If it doesn't fit in with the
- 34:00male, Okay. Because I was going to say, I
- 34:06get a mix sometimes sometimes I'll get a tub with some of
- 34:11those items that bill was talking about.
- 34:13In, in the same day, I'll have some of those same items in my
- 34:17parcel cage. So, but as like, but I'm like
- 34:22Bill. If it's I'm of the opinion that
- 34:25if it's in my parcel cage, it's a parcel.
- 34:28And that's how I treat it. Okay?
- 34:32So, Hypothetically speaking. What say reports come across a
- 34:38number 10 envelope without a scan on it and they put it in my
- 34:45hamper. Can I then scan that us and
- 34:48unscannable parcel when I get to that address?
- 34:56Wonder what it would say. Yes.
- 34:59They handled it as a parcel. Hmm.
- 35:02I would, I would say yes I would say that yes to as same with the
- 35:08packages of checks that come in without the scan code that get
- 35:14thrown with the partials. It's coming out of your parcel.
- 35:19Hamper your head. Yep.
- 35:22To me, though. We don't know where they'll
- 35:26often throw bundles of pre-sorted catalogs in there.
- 35:31And if we count that as a parcel, yeah, if it's in the
- 35:38hamper, it's a parcel. Yeah, what about taking?
- 35:43Hold mail back. And now the past.
- 35:46Now in past counts, when you had a hole that was going back, you
- 35:51got a partial credit for that. Yeah, it's the same way when you
- 35:56get a small little flat envelope, plastic envelope with
- 35:59a bar code on there. You know, you get credit for his
- 36:02scam. Why should you get credit for?
- 36:04Yeah. Everything else in that hamper?
- 36:08This is why I'm going to be interesting.
- 36:11I think what? I think they've gone.
- 36:15I think when they first came out with the rec scans or the Rex
- 36:19guide, if you have to take it to the door because it's too much
- 36:26for the Box, they said that was door miss, right?
- 36:32That was the and that was the only thing I ever heard with
- 36:38clearly of what was door miscellaneous.
- 36:41Yeah but I thought the ruling you finish something.
- 36:47I'll make my pulse a microscope that that was the only thing
- 36:50that I personally have ever heard.
- 36:53As a specific example for door miscellaneous email with more
- 36:59than seven pieces that did not have or a eight pieces that did
- 37:03not have something that was scanned anyway because if it has
- 37:07something that scanned anyway you're going to the, you know,
- 37:10when you're scanning it and you're going to put where you
- 37:12left it location anyway, you know, So you would leave it at
- 37:18the door so you getting the wall credit.
- 37:21But to your point I never I never saw anything that said a
- 37:24specific piece count but I thought they went originally and
- 37:28said if you if you're taking out a bundle of hold mail that you
- 37:32got to take a credit for an unscannable parcel on that
- 37:37regardless of whether or not you had anything in it and then they
- 37:40came back later and said, no, you don't get.
- 37:43In fact, they think the wrecks guide right now says that you
- 37:45don't get credit for a Soil. And it's been so long since I've
- 37:50looked at the Rick's guide lyrics.
- 37:51QA I'd probably have to dust it off again and take a look at
- 37:54that but I think they say now that you don't get a parcel
- 37:58credit just for taking hold mail out.
- 38:02Yeah, because I do believe under the informed delivery, you're
- 38:06still getting credit for that box.
- 38:07That day. That's on hold if they receive
- 38:11mail. But if they have the parcel with
- 38:16them old male, then you get the miscellaneous door and the
- 38:20parcel to the door. No.
- 38:22Yes, it is it? Yes.
- 38:25Yeah. Because okay.
- 38:28Because when you do a hold mail and you have a parcel with it,
- 38:33okay? You scan the mail parcel as
- 38:36being customer. Hold correct.
- 38:39Yes, I do. Yes.
- 38:40Okay, so your actual delivery is when you take the whole mail and
- 38:44the parcel to the door. I'll write in here.
- 38:49Yeah, to separate. You calling it two separate
- 38:51things. Okay?
- 38:52Yeah, okay, yeah. I could buy that, I hope so.
- 39:00Now, how does anybody anybody else come up with offices Now?
- 39:04Using the scanners. Is there clock in method for
- 39:07City side? No clear.
- 39:10Now, no, no, what? No?
- 39:22on Facebook saying something that they are no longer giving
- 39:25them, which is Against. There's nothing saying it's yep.
- 39:30It's nothing saying they've gone away yet right now.
- 39:35The last I heard the Union's. You know the position of the
- 39:39Union was that the 4240 is? This is still the official title
- 39:44of the document controlling time.
- 39:48Now we have notes all over that. Say your times must match.
- 39:56Well, that's the only thing. I the only thing I worry about
- 40:02matching. I know that my clock in and
- 40:08clock out times match, whether or not my depart to the route
- 40:13and returned to deliver unit, times match, what I put in the
- 40:164240 is Up in the air. Well.
- 40:27Because of all the scans, I have a of all the scans I have
- 40:30trouble with the one. I forget most frequently is
- 40:35departure out. I'll be halfway down that.
- 40:38I'll be halfway up to the two mile dead head to the beginning
- 40:42of my route. Sash, I didn't do R8.
- 40:46Now, I go ahead. I don't have an issue with the
- 40:53six, mandatories. In-N-Out are out and back from
- 40:59lunch. I keep missing those I even
- 41:03took. My neighbor has a label maker
- 41:09and I printed out or different labels.
- 41:12This is clock to lunch and posted the, you know, and stuck
- 41:16them in different spots on my case and still yet know, Write
- 41:22down 30 minutes on my 4240 every day regardless of how long I
- 41:26actually take because at the end of the week it averages out to
- 41:30about that, you know that long anyway.
- 41:32Postage due is my, I'm notorious for forgetting that one.
- 41:38Has anybody been told that they meet for the reason that I don't
- 41:46get them like hardly ever? All right.
- 41:51Yeah. We get a lot.
- 41:54We don't get them because our clerk, we don't have any Clerk's
- 41:57recording them so they just hand them to you walk away.
- 42:02Yeah yeah same thing with certified and express mail and
- 42:07read more, most of our we don't, we don't, we don't
- 42:23they bring them after they saw them, they bring around to the
- 42:27case and drop it off. Yeah, there's no such animal
- 42:33clerk anymore. But I haven't signed for opposed
- 42:38to do or a certified in at least two years, maybe three.
- 42:43Hmm. And when I do get to post it
- 42:45when I do get something that says post is due. 90% of the
- 42:50time. It doesn't say, how much?
- 42:52Yeah so and I've I've gotten to the point where I'll say, you
- 42:58know, how much is this Sport and I won't get it, the package back
- 43:03for one more letter, envelope package, whatever it is back for
- 43:07like almost a week and 50% of the time when I get it back, it
- 43:14still doesn't have an amount. So Mike, I just deliver it.
- 43:19Well, do what? I did to one of my customers
- 43:21that I know really well, and I took a postage due to the door,
- 43:25and I told my seventh postage due here, he says, oh, how much
- 43:28and he's reaching his pocket and I said $104, and 63 cents.
- 43:33He said, what the fuck and I said look I just will wanting to
- 43:37see how much you willing to pay for this.
- 43:39Okay. You really are an asshole.
- 43:51I didn't get it right away. But, you know, I don't have the
- 44:02by Crown Royal for the rest of the year though.
- 44:05That's nice. Good for you.
- 44:09Yeah, I don't know whether my customers like me or not but you
- 44:13know, they're going to make me make sure I'm an alcoholic for
- 44:15the rest of my life. Is anybody else getting
- 44:19threatened with discipline? If they miss any of these six
- 44:22required scans I have heard of it at my office.
- 44:30I personally haven't heard of, you know, it in my station, but
- 44:36I know talking to other people locally a while ago, they were
- 44:41told they'd have to go on the Telecom and explain to the
- 44:44postmaster, why they missed it. like in the next, you know, day
- 44:49or two after But I did everything.
- 44:54Recently, I've had two carriers, get letter of warnings for
- 44:58missing scans. The one was asked, and that was
- 45:03the parcel was on their case when they came back.
- 45:07And nobody was there to tell them to take it back out so you
- 45:09know, they just scanned it in the office, you know, as not
- 45:16attempted the other one that cost the carrier's, hand it in
- 45:20the office. As being customer hold and they
- 45:24gave him a letter of warnings and I just sat on them and
- 45:26Saddles that on well then one day the supervisor did a what do
- 45:31they call that? The Integrity scan on a parcel
- 45:35on a parcel for Me. And I went and print it out the
- 45:41Integrity scam this, the tracking number.
- 45:43And it says 427 package receives in Westchester, which was funny
- 45:49because I clocked out at 4:22, So I turned around and took the
- 45:57Integrity scans and the letter of warnings went in the PM's
- 46:01office, I said I want these letters thrown out.
- 46:05Isis. If I don't get these thrown out
- 46:07Isis, I'm going to cause more shit than you can.
- 46:09Possibly imagine. What will you can't use that
- 46:12against me? I said, try me now has a mixed
- 46:16day. He had, he had them removed from
- 46:19their file now, has anybody been threatened for missing?
- 46:22One of the six required Rex cans?
- 46:26Not threaten, but informed, okay.
- 46:29Now, I don't think, I don't know that far in my office, well,
- 46:34this is come. Down from above postmasters and
- 46:40I did find out that if someone does receive discipline and they
- 46:48grieve it as they should any and all discipline you hear that you
- 46:51contact, you Union, steward you grieve it.
- 46:56That if management if these Steward cannot get it.
- 47:02Sustained and completely tossed out that they are to appeal it
- 47:08and go to step 2, because National wants tracking of these
- 47:15carriers that are getting disciplined for missing one of
- 47:20the required six wrecks cans. So if you give management that
- 47:30doesn't agree and they want to disappoint on it and they say,
- 47:34nope, that's what I was told. This is what we're going to do,
- 47:38peel it up to step 2. As we would anyone see anything
- 47:45on that? This came down from this was in
- 47:49the steward, Zoom training, Thursday.
- 47:56No, I miss my last stewards training because we didn't have
- 48:00enough people for me to get me and, and the ADR.
- 48:05Now, this was just in the zoom training on Thursday with
- 48:10Bridget and surely the one they wouldn't let me on.
- 48:14Yeah. That one.
- 48:18Did you sign up ahead of time? No.
- 48:22Yeah, I signed up for it. He just didn't have your link,
- 48:26will let me in, huh? There's like my family reunions.
- 48:33Yeah. But honestly Guys these
- 48:37scanners, they technically there is documentation out there that
- 48:40they they are to not discipline based on scanner data and Rex's
- 48:45scanner data. I know there be times where
- 48:50people will scan something, you know, and out depart to route
- 48:53and in load start load and it doesn't go through.
- 48:57And that's you know and they they know they did it so that
- 49:03scanner data people fight it. I say that again.
- 49:15Yep. What I did find out.
- 49:19It was a while back was if you miss a scan of those six
- 49:27required, it puts it in as a zero percent for the day.
- 49:33Now, I heard if you don't, it doesn't count any of the sex.
- 49:39If you accidentally do a double skin, it just bumps.
- 49:44The one are, they interacting bump that one skin out and it's
- 49:49just a percentage. Hmm.
- 49:57What I heard was that if you screw up this dance, they threw,
- 50:00they throw it out and because you will develop an average over
- 50:05the because this is going to be a 52-week average or rolling
- 50:08average. So if you screw up a few scroll
- 50:12up, ask and they'll throw it out.
- 50:14And you get what your average is for that day.
- 50:17Yeah, that's what I don't get. What the big deal is if you miss
- 50:20a scan one day. We now have tracking sheets on
- 50:26all our clipboards. It's a management used to have
- 50:28every day for if we, you know, to fill in if we missed a scan
- 50:32or not, Yeah, it's weird. I just don't understand this
- 50:38this, the wider, you know, still going right to discipline over
- 50:42something that should just be a job.
- 50:44You know, should be a, they call it a like, oh, dangerous for
- 50:51informal discussion. Yeah, thank you.
- 50:53There you go. Well, like like with my carriers
- 50:57being late, you know, you know, three minutes.
- 50:59Eight minutes, seven minutes. Yeah.
- 51:02Well, we're getting pressure from District, you know, I don't
- 51:04give a fuck, you know. What would you rather have a
- 51:07tardy employee or an absent one? Because to the carries, you got
- 51:13disciplined for tardiness called out the next day.
- 51:17That's their mentality. So you know, you you reap what
- 51:21you sow. Yeah.
- 51:25You got you want to do? You want to play Petty Addie?
- 51:27Shit. That's what they can be pettier
- 51:29and and you know we are Supervisor was on vacation last
- 51:34week, we never missed her. The postmaster was on vacation
- 51:36for 10 days, we never missed them.
- 51:39We can do without you you need us.
- 51:41Yeah. Yep.
- 51:43You know our Postman is short of it.
- 51:46My postmaster you're lucky to see him see here.
- 51:48They're more than two and a half days a week.
- 51:51I'm not going to say lucky but that's about all she is there.
- 51:56Nope. that's pretty good luck, then The post office could still
- 52:04run with the carriers. In our business.
- 52:08Yeah, in our office, we have 100 plus employees.
- 52:12And if you gave me to Clarks one rule and to City carriers, we
- 52:19could run the office better than we have with the five
- 52:23supervisors. And the postmaster, we have And
- 52:27we have no formal training. Yep.
- 52:32You want to do your paperwork and reports?
- 52:34Go ahead and do that. Stay the fuck out of our way
- 52:37though. We know what has to move when it
- 52:40has to move how it has to move. I mean, you know, we've been
- 52:45doing this long enough, folks, we know how to get the product
- 52:48out the door. That's a shame because with
- 52:54your, we have such piss poor management and the people were
- 52:57going in the management of the ones who just don't want to
- 52:59carry mail anymore. That doesn't make them good
- 53:01management people. At all.
- 53:05No people skills. No, you know what, even with
- 53:09formal training, they still suck at their jobs.
- 53:13Out of people end up with no paychecks, you know, after
- 53:16working two weeks. Yeah, yeah.
- 53:20How do people end up, you know, the serve on a route for six
- 53:24months but yet they don't have any annual or sick leave
- 53:28accumulated. It's not hard folks to somebody
- 53:31works there drop day and they put R3 R5.
- 53:35That means they should get paid not that he should be charged
- 53:38for it. It's it's not that hard but
- 53:44when, you know, when I come back at the end of the day and I come
- 53:48into my office, my empty equipment and I'm cleaning up my
- 53:50case and everything. The last thing I should be here
- 53:53is three women over here, chattering and laughing and
- 53:55everything else. Like, you know, they're at a
- 53:59shopping spree, okay. Just have a good old time.
- 54:03How about checking the carriers were coming in?
- 54:05Okay, how about checking the vehicles, how about checking the
- 54:08parcel distribution for the next day or the spreading of With
- 54:11your late-night clerks. How about looking in on the
- 54:14people doing dispatch? How about getting off your fat
- 54:17asses and walking the floor? Because you can't supervise from
- 54:22a chair. A florist Supervisor has the
- 54:25walk, the floor, period. But when you're carrying two
- 54:31small people in your back pocket because your ass is so big and
- 54:36you sit there and Page all damn day, just what you're not going
- 54:39to get anything done. That was my rant.
- 54:48Girl, a blonde monster a while. Thank you.
- 54:53Another one at 15 minutes. Either pull, the shitter pool.
- 55:05Rants has anybody else heard about the 10-day thing with
- 55:12boxes and going vacant after 10 days.
- 55:21Going vacant. I mean I've if a part other than
- 55:26holding it for, if a box doesn't receive mail in 10 days, then
- 55:33you have to go back, pull the mail and then return it in.
- 55:37Mark that box vacant, 10 days. Now, if I'm right every other
- 55:42documentation we work under, says, 90 days.
- 55:49Now, the only 10 day rule that I have in regards to the male is,
- 55:52if they don't take the mail out, and then you hold it and give
- 55:56them a letter saying, they have 10 days to pick it up before
- 55:59it's returned. Ya know, is that when you're
- 56:02using it with no, I think I'm going to ask for a copy of that
- 56:07email from my poem because I was not there for the service talk
- 56:11it was done before I came in for my Ox route.
- 56:16But I have seen reports on it as well.
- 56:20Or other in groups to will have to inquire about that.
- 56:29I haven't heard anything in regards to attend a And it is.
- 56:35So what you're saying is that Rex is automatically?
- 56:40The systems automatically converting a box to a bacon Fox.
- 56:44If they haven't received mail for 10 days in a row
- 56:47technically. Yes.
- 56:51And you are supposed to then pull, whatever males in there,
- 56:53and either forwarded on, or send it back, which is incorrect
- 56:58because especially in seasonal areas where we have people that
- 57:03have their cottages, and they get their cable bill, or they
- 57:07are electric bill, they get one piece of first-class mail within
- 57:11every 45 days as it should to remain active.
- 57:17But at that's all they're getting then that's going to be
- 57:19considered a vacant box, that's not right.
- 57:24No. Yeah, that's inquire about that
- 57:28one. I haven't heard I haven't heard
- 57:30that in my area. Yeah, check that out.
- 57:36That's sketchy. It is and exactly who they are.
- 57:45Yeah, I'm going to talk to the supervisor in the morning and
- 57:48see if I can get a copy of that email.
- 57:51And if I have to put a formal RFI and I will I just won't be
- 58:01able to ask this week. But yeah, I think it's all a
- 58:10bunch of others to do. We all just know, I'm like,
- 58:15trying to find where I've seen somebody else mention it.
- 58:19It's just, it's going to be interesting and I'm actually can
- 58:22I say, I'm actually kind of looking forward to the mini mail
- 58:27survey training, just to see what actually comes out of it.
- 58:35Yeah, it'll be interesting. Like I said, you know, I have a
- 58:42supervisory gets confused by the, you know, sauces that she
- 58:47gets from Chick-fil-A lights and this is sort of a really
- 58:50Challenger, I mean, Jesus, okay, here it is.
- 58:54I, it was a know, the rural mail talk Forum, this kind of gun, it
- 58:58goes along with, I don't have my sheet on me, it's in the car.
- 59:02Also, with the edit books, I mean yeah, we all know we're
- 59:05supposed to keep them updated monthly but now this Well I
- 59:10don't have my sheet with me, I'll have to send the car like I
- 59:14said but here it goes. This is a post off of Royal Mail
- 59:17talk Forum this past week. The postmaster, informed us that
- 59:21the red book has to be updated month along with the 4003.
- 59:25Also that if a box holder, if a box doesn't get first class
- 59:30mail. And also, if that first class
- 59:33mail is not removed in 10 days, that is considered vacant.
- 59:42And I'm going to tourist town and are some are a lot of snow
- 59:44birds are gone, you know, we get a lot of what in a winter.
- 59:49For instance, my area in the winter, a lot of people are gone
- 59:53and they have their summer cottages up here.
- 59:56Doc, you're talking about Snowbird.
- 59:59Yeah. Yeah, that's a lot different
- 1:00:04than somebody doesn't get their meal out of their box for.
- 1:00:06Yeah. But yeah.
- 1:00:09But I've got people cluster boxes.
- 1:00:11It don't do it in 10 days but basically, well, this is just
- 1:00:14talk about the area there in, but it's just basically if they
- 1:00:17don't routinely get first class mail like on a weekly basis and
- 1:00:22if if they do get it once in a while and if they haven't
- 1:00:26cleaned out their box within 10 or, you know, I haven't pulled
- 1:00:29it out within 10 days and it's supposed to removed and marked
- 1:00:32by It I get it being in a seasonal area, what they're
- 1:00:37saying on that? Because like I said, we do have
- 1:00:40people that have their their second homes up here and they
- 1:00:44may come up once a month. Check on the house, clean out
- 1:00:47their mailbox and go and they only get the local bills for
- 1:00:51that house in that box. So why what are they going to do
- 1:00:56about people? You know, with 98% of our mail
- 1:00:59as junk mail anyway and he only bills are some people are
- 1:01:03getting our are you know utility bills or cake.
- 1:01:06Yeah. Well you know VA bill or
- 1:01:08something like that once a month.
- 1:01:10So yeah, there's your you know 20 other days in there that they
- 1:01:13could be considered vacant. Yeah, I know Mass rule I know
- 1:01:19there is a push especially in my area by our poem or Emppu,
- 1:01:25however, you want to call it that they, you know, he doesn't
- 1:01:29want growth on these routes at all.
- 1:01:31He the smaller the better. Yeah, and that's what happened
- 1:01:36in the last official mail count in 2018, and as we had one route
- 1:01:42that lost for hours because the supervisor, who was, oh, I
- 1:01:48seeing at the time counted every pill packet as a flat God, your
- 1:02:00If it doesn't fit in, we wanted a lot.
- 1:02:05It didn't matter. She cousin Mall as I do now?
- 1:02:12We had the station manager at the time.
- 1:02:16Took one of those pill bottle, you know, than weight bag for
- 1:02:19the pill bottles, press it between his knees, took the blue
- 1:02:23stick. Put it over there and screams
- 1:02:26across the work room floor. It's off what?
- 1:02:32Wow, that you should explain to him that he's not allowed to
- 1:02:35mangle male manipulate the mail and changed any physical aspects
- 1:02:39of the mail. That's considered damaged.
- 1:02:43This is also a route that is also a partial heavy and it was
- 1:02:47two weeks after the last male count, that Amazon came into
- 1:02:52this office into my office, that I'm currently at.
- 1:02:55So that tells you anywhere, where am I routes?
- 1:02:58Are at right now. Oh yeah, that takes me right
- 1:03:06back to September when we were supposed to have them in email
- 1:03:08survey. Yeah, because as of as of today,
- 1:03:13we have now Served five years of Amazon bullshit.
- 1:03:16Without getting credit for it. Exactly, here's your that
- 1:03:20national board. You hear that five fucking years
- 1:03:26that I've lost money and then you had covid on top of it.
- 1:03:31The pandemic levels of packages which were, which were like
- 1:03:35Christmas level packages and some most, you know, in a lot of
- 1:03:39offices that never died down a little bit, but, But that became
- 1:03:44our Norm. Doing twice as many packages on
- 1:03:48a daily, that what our routes were evaluated for from the last
- 1:03:51male count. So they don't know, we have
- 1:03:53Christmas on top of it and holy hell.
- 1:03:58There's a reason why I worked 160 hours in three weeks people.
- 1:04:05Let me give you a personal insight into this whole
- 1:04:08situation when covid started and everybody started ordering
- 1:04:11things online. It created a two-way drama.
- 1:04:15Yeah. The fact that people realize how
- 1:04:18easy it is to get stuff ordered online and delivered to your
- 1:04:21door. But today when we my wife and I
- 1:04:25went shopping, we were looking for Tylenol, for for the baby.
- 1:04:29So when he comes over here, we have baby Tylenol.
- 1:04:33They didn't have any in the store.
- 1:04:36But when you come home and order it online, it's available will
- 1:04:39be to you in three days. And the problem that that
- 1:04:42creates is that the reason it's not getting to the store is
- 1:04:45because they're shipping so much from off-site that the
- 1:04:49brick-and-mortar stores aren't getting refilled replenished
- 1:04:54because everybody shipping it online.
- 1:04:59So, you know, it's kind of like a double-dip.
- 1:05:03The fact that you can't find it, what you wanted to store,
- 1:05:06because they're shipping it online.
- 1:05:07They're shipping online because we found out through the covid,
- 1:05:10pandemic that we can get it through the mail, the UPS FedEx
- 1:05:15and everybody else. And this is, this is what's
- 1:05:19driving the damn, yo, stores to go to go out of business because
- 1:05:22of the fact that they can't get the product.
- 1:05:24Because of people who manufactured are still busy,
- 1:05:27shipping it through online sites.
- 1:05:30They don't have time to refill the brick and mortars.
- 1:05:35Exactly. Oh by the way eggs are 599 a
- 1:05:38dozen 599. A dozen of eggs.
- 1:05:41I'm going to start buying from my local posted.
- 1:05:48I'm going to start buying my eggs from my local farmers on my
- 1:05:50routes. I saw someone to things in
- 1:05:57regards to eggs, posted it was a side.
- 1:06:01The one was a side-by-side of, you know, two different stores
- 1:06:06eggs for it was like, 899 for a dozen at the one store and a 929
- 1:06:14at the other store. And the second post I saw was a
- 1:06:19picture of it, was I get BJ's or Sam's Club where they have just
- 1:06:25the whole wall of eggs stacked in the huge walk in and you had
- 1:06:33like a about a half-dozen of the cartons were crushed in the
- 1:06:41middle of it. It's like someone's going to
- 1:06:44lose their job. That's like a thousand dollars
- 1:06:46worth of of eggs. Yeah, that totally bomb there.
- 1:06:56Joe, I don't know what cost that, you know, canceled this
- 1:07:00year. That's what the one was with the
- 1:07:04eight, Ninety Nine, and Nine ninety and nine, something a
- 1:07:08dozen. So yeah, the Easter egg hunts
- 1:07:10been canceled, it's like yeah, getting tired of delivering
- 1:07:14cases of toilet paper, and cases, a paper towel.
- 1:07:19And having to walk two flights up stairs, for somebody's 40
- 1:07:22pound box of cat litter. Go to the fucking store people.
- 1:07:32Sorry, that was my ramp. He's like going to the store so
- 1:07:40I can make fun of the yeah. All right, we're ready to wrap
- 1:07:49this up tonight, guys. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:07:55Alright, final words. Mike Books, there's a lot of
- 1:08:03resources out here on Rex still. Like I said, I have to dust out
- 1:08:06my Rex guide again and my material on the mini count on
- 1:08:12the mini survey accounts survey, but educate yourselves please.
- 1:08:18And you know, realize that the mail survey is part of Rex.
- 1:08:22It's not who separate events And the mail survey is a small
- 1:08:29portion of Rex and it's not going to have in the big scheme
- 1:08:33of things, not a big effect on your route, but should still be
- 1:08:36done correctly. So learn what it's supposed to
- 1:08:39be so you can do it right. And of course, be careful out
- 1:08:44there. Josh.
- 1:08:49Done. Final words, Josh, I do well to
- 1:08:59follow up on what Mike was just saying the understanding.
- 1:09:02I have the mount the main email survey is just recalculating
- 1:09:07your distances from your case, to everything else in
- 1:09:12all-purpose that you walk to. And any raw mail that you get
- 1:09:16from the hot case in flat Rack or bread rack, whatever you call
- 1:09:20it in your office. Be safe out there.
- 1:09:28You know, a lot of places have already had bad weather.
- 1:09:30We're starting to get into the bad weather season for everyone
- 1:09:33else. Don't get overwhelmed.
- 1:09:37Take a step back. Take a breath.
- 1:09:39Step back in, have a good week. Billy Joel.
- 1:09:48It's my turn. Sure.
- 1:09:50Well, well, like my said, everybody go out and educate
- 1:09:54yourself if you don't know where to go ask, I mean there's plenty
- 1:09:59material online. Even if you're not a union
- 1:10:03member you can ask the union member they'll be more than
- 1:10:08happy to share things with you that you need to do to keep your
- 1:10:11routes evaluation up to Snuff and just just Follow the game
- 1:10:17plan, you know, and plug away. Remember, or don't get stressed
- 1:10:23closet because Folks at the end of the day, you need to get
- 1:10:27yourself home to your family, your loved ones because, you
- 1:10:30know, you're the most important delivery day and I truly want
- 1:10:34everybody to get home safely. I don't want any seeing another
- 1:10:38tractor trailer hitting one of the carriers and crushing their
- 1:10:41lives. I can't imagine.
- 1:10:44Yo, seeing a tractor trailer coming at one of those damn ice
- 1:10:47cream trucks. But Please be careful because no
- 1:10:52matter what the post office will just replace you the next day.
- 1:10:56Get your ass home to your family.
- 1:10:58Okay? And be safe.
- 1:11:02And on that note, I just wanted to thank you Bill and I just an
- 1:11:07update on that carrier that was hit with the semi she has been
- 1:11:10moved to a rehabilitation center and is slowly recovering, so
- 1:11:17she's getting there. But on that note 3, even though
- 1:11:21with some technical difficulties, I want to wish
- 1:11:23everybody safe out there and we will be back next week.
- 1:11:28Have a good night. No.
- 1:11:33No.
