- 0:11Speaker 1: the show to know. She talks Hollywood tales for real life, Mr.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Saving Serial Data and Serial Sisters. You'll be addicted and
- 0:19Speaker 1: addicted fast to the number one tabloid real life podcast.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Listen in, listen up.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Woo, woo.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Heather MacDonald. Juicy Scoop. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 0:34Speaker 1: I have your favorite blue-eyed, model-turned-comedian just fresh off of
- 0:40Speaker 1: Nashville showing some titties.
- 0:43Speaker 2: I see.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I was like, that's kind of low-cut for you, Chris.
- 0:47Speaker 2: It's one of those shirts.
- 0:48Speaker 1: This is why guys have to be on YouTube, because
- 0:51Speaker 1: the studio changes all the time, and no, I don't
- 0:53Speaker 1: care what you think. It's about the talent and about
- 0:55Speaker 1: the titties. And you're wearing like a very low cut shirt.
- 0:59Speaker 2: It's one of those shirts. It's a button in between,
- 1:01Speaker 2: you know.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02Speaker 2: One button up a little too high. I look a
- 1:04Speaker 2: little too buttoned up. Yeah. And then one button low.
- 1:07Speaker 2: I look like a gingle bird humperding or something.
- 1:11Speaker 1: I wonder. I guess buttons are expensive. But I guess
- 1:13Speaker 1: if I was going to do a shirt, it'd be
- 1:15Speaker 1: kind of cool if there was like a way there
- 1:18Speaker 1: could be hidden like several buttons. But that would cost money.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Where you can get like same thing with with people with,
- 1:24Speaker 1: you know, boobs, real boobs or fake boobs or whatever
- 1:26Speaker 1: boobs is like.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Sometimes you're like, oh, I just want it like right there.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Not here. Not here.
- 1:32Speaker 2: About here would be perfect. But it's.
- 1:34Speaker 1: You know who does that? Rich people who tailor everything.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:38Speaker 1: That's a sign, you know, you've made it. You're like
- 1:41Speaker 1: my tailor will have.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Or monogrammed everything. You know, sleeves are monogrammed and stuff.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Yeah, we're taking it to our monogram. Oliver has been
- 1:50Speaker 1: our family's monogram person.
- 1:51Speaker 2: I always found the white collar to be a rich
- 1:53Speaker 2: guy's shirt. If it has a blue shirt with a
- 1:56Speaker 2: white collar, that was a rich guy look.
- 1:59Speaker 1: That's why they call it white collar.
- 2:00Speaker 2: No, you might be right. Perfect.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Chris, so you had your fun shows in Nashville.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Fun shows in Nashville is wild.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Where can they find you next? I just approved a post.
- 2:14Speaker 1: In Juicy Scoop Obsessed Facebook group that said, I just
- 2:16Speaker 1: can't believe Chris is coming to my hometown.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Is it Eau Claire, Wisconsin? Probably. Because I'm going to
- 2:22Speaker 2: Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:24Speaker 2: People got mad at me for mispronouncing the name, but
- 2:26Speaker 2: you get the idea. Okay. Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Coming to
- 2:28Speaker 2: a place called The Plus in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Nice.
- 2:31Speaker 2: It serves pizza, so that's where I'm at. But I'll
- 2:36Speaker 2: be there. Good times. I will be there. And then
- 2:39Speaker 2: let's see what else I have. That's the 23rd of May.
- 2:41Speaker 2: 22nd of May is what we call my birthday show
- 2:45Speaker 2: because my birthday is May 21st. And at the Parkway
- 2:48Speaker 2: Theater in Minneapolis, Minnesota, I will be on May 22nd,
- 2:52Speaker 2: Thursday night. And then the Diamond Joe Casino in Dubuque,
- 2:55Speaker 2: Iowa on Saturday night, May 24th. On to Comedy Vault
- 2:58Speaker 2: in Batavia, right outside of Chicago. The 6th and 7th
- 3:01Speaker 2: of June, Magoobies of Baltimore, the 13th and 14th of June.
- 3:05Speaker 2: And then the Grand Comedy Club in Escondido, California. All
- 3:09Speaker 2: new location.
- 3:10Speaker 1: All fun.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Used to be a California pizza kitchen. Now it's a
- 3:13Speaker 2: comedy club.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I love it.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Yeah. If you currently serve pizza or one time serve pizza,
- 3:17Speaker 2: I will play your venue. Anyway, Grand Comedy Club Escondido.
- 3:21Speaker 1: So the birthday is here.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Birthday.
- 3:24Speaker 1: You're a May boy. So what does that make you?
- 3:26Speaker 2: It makes me like on the cusp of Gemini and Taurus.
- 3:28Speaker 2: But I always say Gemini. I don't know why. Yeah.
- 3:30Speaker 2: I feel like I'm.
- 3:32Speaker 1: You know, all those things are like.
- 3:33Speaker 2: I know.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Like, again, are there 12 personalities? Are there only 365?
- 3:37Speaker 1: We were born on the same year.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Anyway, my birthday is June, as you know.
- 3:43Speaker 2: June 14th. And you consider yourself Gemini.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Definitely Gemini. And I celebrate all month long. I try
- 3:49Speaker 1: not to have it bleed into July. And I try
- 3:51Speaker 1: not to start it until June.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Planning on rewarding your staff this year struggling to choose
- 3:57Speaker 4: between a shop gift card or a pay anywhere card

- 4:16Speaker 4: fees chipping away at the balance make your rewards more
- 4:19Speaker 4: rewarding visit optionscard.ie today.
- 4:24Speaker 2: So what is the celebration going to be this year?
- 4:26Speaker 2: What do you have?
- 4:27Speaker 1: There's several, as always.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Really?
- 4:29Speaker 1: As always. With different groups, different things. I have so
- 4:32Speaker 1: much to celebrate this year.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Like just in life?
- 4:35Speaker 1: Okay, May 27th, 25 years of marriage.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Oh, is that right?
- 4:39Speaker 1: Wow. We are leaving here. You are our Uber driver.
- 4:41Speaker 1: You have agreed to take us to Jet Suites.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Sure.
- 4:45Speaker 1: To get on a plane and go to Drake's graduation. Mm-hmm.
- 4:48Speaker 1: So celebrated Drake's graduation this week.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Oh, nice.
- 4:52Speaker 1: From Cary Business School of Finance at Arizona State University.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Wow. I can't believe he's done already. That's crazy.
- 4:59Speaker 1: He's done. He did it in four years. Good for him.
- 5:02Speaker 1: And then, you know, just came off Mother's Day. We'll
- 5:07Speaker 1: get into that. Yeah, then my birthday, it just starts.
- 5:10Speaker 1: There's just a lot of things. Because my birthday was
- 5:13Speaker 1: always like the last day of school or whatever. So
- 5:15Speaker 1: there'd always be like a friends thing. So I have
- 5:19Speaker 1: a thing that I'm doing with my sorority sisters are
- 5:21Speaker 1: coming out to La Quinta.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Wow.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Flying from all over. There's just five of us.
- 5:25Speaker 2: For just your birthday celebration. Yes.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Oh, wow. And then I'll have like my girls here,
- 5:32Speaker 1: you know.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Okay.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Then we might, we invited you guys for a couple's dinner,
- 5:36Speaker 1: sexy couple's dinner.
- 5:37Speaker 2: You did?
- 5:38Speaker 1: Yes, I did. Oh, that was last week. At Casolina.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Yeah, you did invite me. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 5:41Speaker 1: I'm going to invite you again because there's a big
- 5:43Speaker 1: deal thing happening.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Okay.
- 5:45Speaker 1: So it was.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Where do I have to go?
- 5:48Speaker 1: Casalina in Woodland Hills, the greatest restaurant ever on Ventura,
- 5:51Speaker 1: the beautiful.
- 5:52Speaker 2: That's where the next one's going to be as well?
- 5:53Speaker 1: Yes, because I have something exciting happening there. Oh. It'll
- 5:58Speaker 1: be on the menu in a couple weeks.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Oh, it's funny.
- 6:01Speaker 1: It's a juicy scoop cocktail.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Really? At Casalina?
- 6:04Speaker 1: Why are you actually like, really? No, I think it's great.
- 6:07Speaker 1: I didn't know you hung out. You don't think I'm
- 6:09Speaker 1: an 818 legend enough to have one drink at one
- 6:13Speaker 1: restaurant when I was born and raised? and lived there
- 6:15Speaker 1: my whole life.
- 6:16Speaker 2: I just didn't think you hung out there enough to
- 6:19Speaker 2: get a cocktail on the menu.
- 6:20Speaker 1: They love me.
- 6:21Speaker 2: All right, that's great.
- 6:21Speaker 1: And I love them.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I'll go there and get the cocktail.
- 6:24Speaker 1: And I'm excited for you to try it. So we
- 6:26Speaker 1: did a little preview cocktail, but it's not on the
- 6:29Speaker 1: menu yet. And I had Brandy, Julie, and my other
- 6:33Speaker 1: friends come.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Can you say what's in the cocktail?
- 6:35Speaker 1: Yes, it's a vodka martini. It's a little sweet, but
- 6:39Speaker 1: it's not too sweet. It's also soury and it's super refreshing.
- 6:43Speaker 1: And that's not what I'm telling you right now.
- 6:44Speaker 2: That sounds pretty good.
- 6:45Speaker 1: I'll get that. But it's delicious, you know?
- 6:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:47Speaker 2: All right.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Maybe you wouldn't want three, but you could have two,
- 6:50Speaker 1: you know?
- 6:50Speaker 2: I can't do three of anything.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Well, I know. But I'm saying, you know, like three
- 6:54Speaker 1: martini lunch. I would say no. This would be a
- 6:56Speaker 1: two martini.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I drank in Nashville. You did?
- 6:59Speaker 1: You never drank.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Oh, man. I went out, you know, onto that area. Oh, good.
- 7:02Speaker 1: What were you having?
- 7:03Speaker 2: Kid Rock Bar. You know, whatever people were giving me.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Lemon Drop Shots. I mean, it was like I was
- 7:10Speaker 2: in a frat house.
- 7:11Speaker 1: I love it.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I know. I had a good time.
- 7:13Speaker 1: And then did you have to wake up the next
- 7:14Speaker 1: day and hop in your rent-a-car and drive to another gig?
- 7:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I did. Yeah, yeah, yes. I had to drive
- 7:18Speaker 2: to the Somerset, Kentucky, three hours. So that's always nice
- 7:22Speaker 2: to be hungover driving through Kentucky.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Drinking the coffee.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Yeah, but it was good.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Good.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Got my Buc-ee's, you know, barbecue salad. Best salad. It's
- 7:31Speaker 2: the greatest thing ever.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I mean, that's a reason to go on the road.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Is to go to Buc-ee's.
- 7:36Speaker 2: I mean, I stop at these Buc-ee's.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I think that pulled pork sandwich is the best thing
- 7:39Speaker 1: I've ever had.
- 7:40Speaker 2: In my life. So here's what I do now because
- 7:41Speaker 2: I'm never going to be... I don't go there very often.
- 7:43Speaker 2: We don't have it here. So I get two. And
- 7:45Speaker 2: now I'm like some thousand pound sister driving, eating two.
- 7:49Speaker 1: You know the thousand pound sisters, I guess, got on
- 7:51Speaker 1: the Ozempic. They're not. They're like about like 250 sisters. Yeah.
- 7:55Speaker 2: There's no way.
- 7:55Speaker 1: No, they are. Really? I think they did the gastric bypass. No,
- 7:58Speaker 1: I just saw a photo of them. And they're still
- 8:00Speaker 1: calling it thousand pound. I'd be like... At a certain point,
- 8:03Speaker 1: I'm like, we're not even.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Together, we're not even 500. Like, change the name.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Yeah, soon I'm going to have to go Charlie's Angels.
- 8:11Speaker 2: That's how hot they're going to be. I mean, they're
- 8:13Speaker 2: still not, it's not even.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Well, they look a little strange because it's like, it's
- 8:17Speaker 1: like a balloon that's, you know, like you've had a
- 8:19Speaker 1: balloon for a long time and then it's like floating
- 8:21Speaker 1: around your house and it's like has some wrinkles, but
- 8:24Speaker 1: it's not out yet. So it's like, there is like
- 8:26Speaker 1: a weird something going. I don't know. And I know
- 8:28Speaker 1: people are going to write me. She had a thyroid issue.
- 8:31Speaker 1: I don't know what the deal is. I don't want you,
- 8:33Speaker 1: but they're thin now. I saw a photo. They're thin.
- 8:35Speaker 2: That's good. I'm happy for them. Okay.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Let's talk about Mother's Day. Cause this just, I just
- 8:41Speaker 1: noticed this on TMZ.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Okay.
- 8:42Speaker 1: That Halle Berry posted on her Instagram, I'm going to
- 8:46Speaker 1: have sex on Mother's Day. She's in bed with her boyfriend.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Okay.
- 8:49Speaker 1: And I watch it, and she's hawking lube. She is
- 8:54Speaker 1: doing an Instagram lube commercial.
- 8:58Speaker 4: Oh.
- 8:58Speaker 1: And I couldn't help myself. Sometimes people like Chris and I,
- 9:02Speaker 1: we can't help ourselves, and we do comment.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:04Speaker 1: We do comment. And I commented, and I said, you
- 9:07Speaker 1: know Hollywood is suffering because when our gorgeous Oscar winner
- 9:10Speaker 1: is selling lube on Instagram, like the rest of us whores,
- 9:13Speaker 1: you know?
- 9:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, you gotta make a buck.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Anyway, I checked and it's already up to like 4,000
- 9:21Speaker 1: likes or whatever hearts my comment. So I guess people agree.
- 9:26Speaker 1: It's like everybody, you know, hey, this is a serious
- 9:29Speaker 1: time in Hollywood, you guys. And they're gonna, they're like,
- 9:33Speaker 1: She maybe thought about doing a podcast. She skipped the
- 9:37Speaker 1: podcast and now she's going straight to just being an
- 9:40Speaker 1: influencer selling lube.
- 9:41Speaker 2: She was doing a podcast for a minute. There was
- 9:43Speaker 2: something with her and her friend drinking margaritas.
- 9:46Speaker 1: They always are like, just come over. My best friend
- 9:49Speaker 1: and I are going to keep it real.
- 9:52Speaker 2: It was one of those.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Unfiltered. Then after four times, she starts.
- 9:56Speaker 2: To get a little filtered.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Or you read the comments and you're like, oh, my God,
- 10:00Speaker 1: I've never had to read such mean comments about my
- 10:03Speaker 1: work and my life.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Oh, you got to get used to that.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Yeah, because when I was doing movies, yeah, maybe Siskel
- 10:08Speaker 1: and Ebert would say they liked it or they didn't
- 10:11Speaker 1: like it. But I didn't have to read. 700 saying
- 10:14Speaker 1: that this podcast sucks.
- 10:15Speaker 2: About the weirdest things. They find like one little thing
- 10:18Speaker 2: that you've been sensitive about your entire life and they
- 10:21Speaker 2: just pound it.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Yeah, that's why I think a lot of the stars
- 10:26Speaker 1: then drop out of the podcast world. It's the comments.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Right.
- 10:30Speaker 1: It's the direct commenting. But they're like, fine, I'll sell
- 10:33Speaker 1: some lube, whatever.
- 10:34Speaker 2: So what lube company is she working for?
- 10:36Speaker 1: I don't know, but I mean, they're going to be thrilled.
- 10:38Speaker 1: They're going to be thrilled. And then watch now. Everybody
- 10:42Speaker 1: else will get on. Naomi Watts.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Naomi Watts is going to get lubed up.
- 10:45Speaker 1: She's going to be like, what can I do on Instagram, too?
- 10:48Speaker 1: Good for Halle Berry. I know, but sometimes can't us
- 10:51Speaker 1: losers just have one thing? Can we just have one
- 10:54Speaker 1: fucking thing? I'm never going to win an Oscar again.
- 10:57Speaker 2: You have a chance of maybe winning a Golden Globe.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Did you see that?
- 10:59Speaker 1: Yes, I did. And did you see that I did
- 11:02Speaker 1: a Golden Globe speech with Guy Branum.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Just two weeks before and.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Then it came up?
- 11:06Speaker 2: I know.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Now, a lot of people are like, Heather, your predictions
- 11:08Speaker 1: are not that. Okay. Now I think that my superpower,
- 11:13Speaker 1: it's not necessarily predictions.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Right.
- 11:16Speaker 1: But something's going on with the universe.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Okay.
- 11:19Speaker 1: That started when I talked about getting all the shots
- 11:22Speaker 1: and Jesus loves me the most and I fainted. It's
- 11:24Speaker 1: like divine timing. It's happening all the time. And it's
- 11:28Speaker 1: more just like I say something and I just kind
- 11:30Speaker 1: of put it out there.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Right.
- 11:32Speaker 1: And then it comes true. And it's not necessarily like
- 11:34Speaker 1: a true prediction. Like when I talked about an American pope.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:38Speaker 1: When we talked about who was going to be the pope,
- 11:41Speaker 1: I'm sitting there with Guy Branum and I said, wouldn't
- 11:44Speaker 1: it be crazy if we had an American pope? I
- 11:46Speaker 1: like have a feeling like that could happen or something.
- 11:48Speaker 1: And he's like, you know, maybe not because we're not
- 11:51Speaker 1: being like received well for the rest of the world, whatever.
- 11:53Speaker 1: So we got the American Pope. A lot of people
- 11:56Speaker 1: remembered me predicting more. I'm like, I didn't really predict it.
- 11:58Speaker 1: I just talked about it. But it's just like little
- 12:00Speaker 1: things like where I said the Golden Globe. I'm like, well,
- 12:03Speaker 1: I'll never get a Golden Globe. It would have to
- 12:05Speaker 1: be for podcasting. And then literally nine days later, they're like,
- 12:07Speaker 1: we have a– now, of course, the Golden Globe category
- 12:10Speaker 1: thing was already in the works before I spoke about
- 12:12Speaker 1: it with Guy. But it's just kind of weird that
- 12:14Speaker 1: I don't have prior knowledge of this and then I
- 12:16Speaker 1: say it.
- 12:17Speaker 2: And it happens.
- 12:18Speaker 1: And then it happens. Or I said Garcelle is going
- 12:20Speaker 1: to leave Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I had no
- 12:22Speaker 1: intel on that. Literally three days later, she announces she's leaving.
- 12:26Speaker 2: You have what they call, you know, psychic abilities or clairvoyance.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Yeah, but I don't really feel like I have a
- 12:32Speaker 1: talent like that. I just go, oh, I just think
- 12:34Speaker 1: I have a feeling. And now I just say it.
- 12:37Speaker 1: And now it's so fun to have the record of it.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Right.
- 12:41Speaker 1: You know, of like the podcast.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Is there any predictions you're feeling right now that you
- 12:45Speaker 2: would like to let out? I mean, anything that you can...
- 12:48Speaker 2: Let us know. And then if it comes true, people
- 12:50Speaker 2: will be like, wow, this is getting crazy.
- 12:52Speaker 1: It'll probably just happen when we talk about topics. It'll
- 12:54Speaker 1: just come. Just like someone draws. What's his name? Draws. Oh,
- 12:58Speaker 1: he's getting married.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Who?
- 13:00Speaker 1: The little guy that would draw and I would imitate him.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Why can't I think of his name?
- 13:05Speaker 2: Oh, I don't know. Oh, yes. The guy who sees
- 13:09Speaker 2: dead people or something.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Yes. And he would draw.
- 13:11Speaker 2: He's on Netflix now. Yeah.
- 13:13Speaker 1: And yeah, he's engaged to a guy that looks just
- 13:16Speaker 1: like him.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Oh, good.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Anyway.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Can I ask you this? How about predicting who's going
- 13:21Speaker 2: to win the Golden Globe for Best Podcast?
- 13:23Speaker 1: Well, I already know.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Amy Poehler. Like, she's got a new podcast.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going to be like Amy Poehler or Mel
- 13:32Speaker 1: Robbins or that grifter.
- 13:35Speaker 2: The guy with the blue eyes.
- 13:36Speaker 1: The guy with the blue eyes that, you know, everybody
- 13:39Speaker 1: bows down to.
- 13:40Speaker 4: Right.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Possibly could be Oprah.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Oh, does she have a podcast?
- 13:43Speaker 1: It won't be Joe Rogan. It won't be armchair expert.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Both of those guys should be nominated. They've been doing
- 13:51Speaker 1: it really long.
- 13:52Speaker 2: But they don't want them at the Golden Globes. It's
- 13:53Speaker 2: people you want at the Golden Globes.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Right. Because they're going to be like, None of those
- 14:02Speaker 1: people did any movies because nobody's making movies. So how
- 14:05Speaker 1: else are we going to get them while they all
- 14:07Speaker 1: have a podcast? That's why they did it. That's why
- 14:10Speaker 1: they did it. Yeah, you're right.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Yeah, they did it to get them to the cone.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Because they're not doing anything else.
- 14:15Speaker 2: I just talked about this on my podcast. Oh, my God.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Okay, so now you're the genius.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:19Speaker 1: You're always a genius.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 14:20Speaker 1: But I definitely think you're right.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Yeah. How are we going to get people to come?
- 14:24Speaker 1: Because how have you never had talk radio be a thing?
- 14:27Speaker 1: So why podcast now? Talk radio, Howard, has been around forever.
- 14:31Speaker 1: We've never incorporated radio.
- 14:33Speaker 2: But now Star's doing it, so you've got to invite them.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Exactly. So there you go.
- 14:38Speaker 1: So there you go. Okay. The Pope.
- 14:41Speaker 2: He's Catholic. Love that he's Catholic.
- 14:43Speaker 1: He's a Pope Catholic. Chicago, which I love because, you know,
- 14:47Speaker 1: that's my parents' place. So they're in heaven and they're
- 14:50Speaker 1: like probably thrilled. And so very like all American Catholic family,
- 14:58Speaker 1: not like super, super religious. We've heard from like the
- 15:02Speaker 1: brother and stuff.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Did you see this little controversy?
- 15:04Speaker 1: Yes, there is. And I have the little controversy. First
- 15:07Speaker 1: of all, I loved this. This was a seminary near,
- 15:11Speaker 1: I guess, near Chicago where their guy won and they
- 15:14Speaker 1: were all cheering. And this was also really funny. This
- 15:20Speaker 1: girl said, My mom's literal ex-situationship from when she was 19,
- 15:26Speaker 1: allegedly this woman kind of dated him.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Wow.
- 15:30Speaker 1: When he was at Villanova or something. Yeah, Villanova. Before,
- 15:33Speaker 1: you know, committing to priesthood. And so that was a
- 15:37Speaker 1: funny little TikTok that this girl did.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Well, now you know why he committed to priesthood.
- 15:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:42Speaker 1: And then here's the brother. They went through the brother's tweets. Well,
- 15:46Speaker 1: first when they were doing all this, I'm like, they
- 15:48Speaker 1: must be going through everyone's tweets.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Because every priest now tweets like everybody else. And make
- 15:53Speaker 1: sure they don't see something controversial. Well, he didn't, but
- 15:56Speaker 1: his brother called Nancy Pelosi a see you next Tuesday
- 16:00Speaker 1: in a tweet.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Yeah, drunken. A drunken see you next Tuesday.
- 16:04Speaker 3: So what?
- 16:05Speaker 2: I know.
- 16:05Speaker 1: You know what? Like everybody, you know, welcome to Catholic families.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:11Speaker 1: There's a lot of us and we are not responsible
- 16:13Speaker 1: for our adult siblings and what they do.
- 16:16Speaker 2: There's a line in the Godfather.
- 16:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Where Al Pacino is telling Diane Keaton, she's asking, like,
- 16:22Speaker 2: what is this family, your mobster family? He goes, that's
- 16:25Speaker 2: my family. That's not me. And I always think of
- 16:28Speaker 2: that line when I hear things like this. Right. Or
- 16:31Speaker 2: in the case of you, same thing.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 16:33Speaker 2: That's my family. That's not me.
- 16:35Speaker 1: You know, and then, yeah, and like recently I just
- 16:37Speaker 1: saw something about Carol Brunette's grandson was trying to do
- 16:44Speaker 1: like a GoFundMe or something and he's in a wheelchair
- 16:46Speaker 1: and And people are like, how could it be that
- 16:49Speaker 1: Carol Burnett has, like, left her grandson to be doing this?
- 16:52Speaker 1: And then some people wrote, like, don't you know that
- 16:55Speaker 1: that boy's mom has been, like, a drug addict and
- 16:59Speaker 1: all this stuff, and she's tried over and over and
- 17:01Speaker 1: over and over again to connect with them and pay
- 17:03Speaker 1: for them and done... And at a certain point, like,
- 17:06Speaker 1: she's fucking 90.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Right. And, like... Yeah, what's she got?
- 17:09Speaker 1: Well, you know, like, it's always like, oh, my God,
- 17:11Speaker 1: can you believe that this person's sibling is, you know.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Right.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Yeah, well, we all... Everybody has somebody, unfortunately, that gets
- 17:18Speaker 1: affected by drug addiction. And there's only so much you
- 17:22Speaker 1: can do, like whatever it is. But with this, yeah,
- 17:25Speaker 1: if you wanted to say that, it doesn't mean he
- 17:28Speaker 1: doesn't love his brother. And look, he's already got the
- 17:31Speaker 1: big position. He doesn't need to be reelected. He's there
- 17:33Speaker 1: until he dies. So go off, everybody. Like anyone in
- 17:37Speaker 1: the family can say whatever the hell they want now.
- 17:39Speaker 1: It's not going to affect him losing his, you know, Pope.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Thing did you see the conclave the movie.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Conclave i can't i know people are gonna be furious
- 17:48Speaker 1: but i have not but i i still want to
- 17:50Speaker 1: see it.
- 17:51Speaker 2: I enjoyed it yeah it's a great plane movie if
- 17:53Speaker 2: you're flying anywhere okay perfect two hours you're in and
- 17:56Speaker 2: you're out right it's interesting especially now more than ever
- 17:59Speaker 2: it's kind of does following the headlines but it's good
- 18:02Speaker 2: it is interesting it takes a weird twist at the
- 18:04Speaker 2: end but i'm not gonna blow it for everybody okay
- 18:06Speaker 2: but you'll be like oh boy here we go.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Well don't blow it for me i will watch it
- 18:10Speaker 1: i am gonna um Maybe do a movie review in
- 18:13Speaker 1: this episode, which I do want to blow it.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Okay. Yeah, blow it.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I'll do it at the end.
- 18:18Speaker 5: But looking for a getaway that's truly special? Ireland's Blue

- 18:36Speaker 5: to plan your next luxury escape.
- 18:39Speaker 3: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 18:42Speaker 3: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 18:45Speaker 3: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 18:50Speaker 3: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Life is one long lesson of chaos. I'm heading to
- 18:56Speaker 1: the Emmys, and I have police complaints filed against me.
- 18:59Speaker 2: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 19:01Speaker 2: what would you do if it was given back?
- 19:03Speaker 3: Where did that need come from, where you thought that
- 19:06Speaker 3: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 19:09Speaker 2: He said, I have a work dad.
- 19:10Speaker 3: I need a home dad.
- 19:11Speaker 2: What happens next? When I came in, he started crying.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 19:18Speaker 3: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 19:21Speaker 3: happens next.
- 19:22Speaker 1: I decided to risk it all.
- 19:23Speaker 2: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 19:25Speaker 1: You're worth the work.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Listen, Dar, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 19:28Speaker 1: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 19:31Speaker 3: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 19:45Speaker 1: I but it's interesting when I've talked to people over
- 19:48Speaker 1: the weekend that I didn't even know her. well or
- 19:50Speaker 1: whatever about the Catholic Pope. And someone's like, well, I
- 19:53Speaker 1: was raised Catholic or whatever, but I don't really go
- 19:56Speaker 1: to church. Everyone is like reignited into being Catholic.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Really?
- 20:00Speaker 1: It's making people excited and proud and kind of wanting
- 20:05Speaker 1: to go back. And that was my one prediction. It
- 20:08Speaker 1: was like, let's watch this. Like, it's going to be really,
- 20:13Speaker 1: really great for the American churches more than anything.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll see.
- 20:18Speaker 1: That were maybe suffering or schools that weren't getting their
- 20:21Speaker 1: enrollment or anything like that.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Well, he's been in Peru for the last, like, 22 years.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Yeah, but still.
- 20:27Speaker 2: I know. He's still in America. I mean, they have
- 20:29Speaker 2: pictures of him in the Chicago White Sox World Series
- 20:32Speaker 2: in the stands. Yeah. With a. With a jersey on
- 20:35Speaker 2: and stuff. So that's pretty good.
- 20:37Speaker 1: My dad's cousin, so it would be my second cousin,
- 20:40Speaker 1: he was a priest from Ireland.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Yeah, we have two in the Frangola family too.
- 20:43Speaker 1: And did you ever have mass at your house?
- 20:46Speaker 2: No.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Oh, that's so cool.
- 20:49Speaker 3: My.
- 20:49Speaker 1: And you see, remember how you like the wafers?
- 20:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:52Speaker 1: And then I like see the wafers in the Tupperware
- 20:54Speaker 1: and I'm like, I kind of want one, but I
- 20:56Speaker 1: knew like how bad that would be. And then my...
- 20:58Speaker 1: The priest goes, no, you can eat it. You can
- 21:00Speaker 1: eat it before. It's like it's just not blessed yet.
- 21:02Speaker 1: You know, so it's like or maybe you can't. I
- 21:04Speaker 1: don't know. But having the priest.
- 21:06Speaker 2: It's always weird that you stick that dirty fingers in
- 21:09Speaker 2: your mouth. Remember? They would like place it on your tongue.
- 21:12Speaker 1: I'm like, oh. But it's always like it's always like
- 21:15Speaker 1: such a coup. If anybody like had the priest come
- 21:17Speaker 1: for dinner or if you had mass at your house
- 21:20Speaker 1: is like the coolest stuff.
- 21:22Speaker 2: It's a big deal.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Yeah, but what were you going to say about your
- 21:24Speaker 1: Catholic life?
- 21:26Speaker 2: My uncle, Father Vin.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:29Speaker 2: He's dead now, but he was a Jesuit priest, and
- 21:31Speaker 2: he baptized Patrick Schwarzenegger, all the Schwarzenegger children, out there
- 21:37Speaker 2: in Santa Monica at that church.
- 21:39Speaker 1: This is your cousin?
- 21:40Speaker 2: My uncle. My dad's uncle, so my great uncle.
- 21:45Speaker 1: This is the first time hearing about this?
- 21:47Speaker 2: The two of them. They're brothers.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Wait a minute.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Did you ever go to Mass?
- 21:53Speaker 2: No, not with them. Why?
- 21:55Speaker 1: They're at Santa Monica Parish.
- 21:57Speaker 2: They were there for small amounts of time. They traveled around,
- 22:00Speaker 2: you know.
- 22:01Speaker 1: And your dad wouldn't say, hey.
- 22:04Speaker 2: He said they're there now. Uncle Joey. It was Joe
- 22:07Speaker 2: and Vin. That was their names.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Okay. And you wouldn't go and at least go to
- 22:11Speaker 1: one 11 o'clock Mass?
- 22:12Speaker 2: No, I never went.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Well, you're a big Catholic disappointment.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I really am.
- 22:18Speaker 1: I want to go back to Mother's Day real quickly.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Okay.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Because Tom Cruise praised ex-Nicole Kidman amid the fact that
- 22:26Speaker 1: he's dating the Anna de Armas, who was dating Ben
- 22:33Speaker 1: Affleck prior.
- 22:33Speaker 2: For a minute, yeah. Among others.
- 22:36Speaker 1: And then, so anyway.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Very pretty.
- 22:39Speaker 1: What do you think's happening here?
- 22:42Speaker 2: Well, I mean, here we go again with this Tom
- 22:45Speaker 2: Cruise thing. Say what you want about Tom Cruise. He
- 22:48Speaker 2: just doesn't, like, I know there's the rumors and all that,
- 22:52Speaker 2: but he just, the one thing about him, say, he
- 22:55Speaker 2: just doesn't seem sexual or like, and that's nothing wrong
- 22:58Speaker 2: with that. Like he's focused on work. You know what
- 23:00Speaker 2: I mean? So why are we pretending that he's into
- 23:03Speaker 2: Ana de Armas? He's just not. He'd rather make. Mission Impossible.
- 23:07Speaker 2: I feel like I don't know anything about the man.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Yeah, like I also think like once you've lived that life,
- 23:12Speaker 1: are you really motivated to like romance yet another woman?
- 23:16Speaker 2: Exactly. That's what I'm saying.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Like be charmed by her and jump on a couch
- 23:20Speaker 1: by her. And like, I mean, yeah, like at a
- 23:23Speaker 1: certain point, aren't you? I don't care how much plastic
- 23:25Speaker 1: surgery you get and how many of your own stunts do.
- 23:27Speaker 1: You're like 63. Are you still like pining after a
- 23:31Speaker 1: woman in a proper way of like quartering someone? Like
- 23:34Speaker 1: what is this?
- 23:35Speaker 2: Well, it's hype for the new Mission Impossible movie coming.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Of course, yeah, it comes right at that time. Mission
- 23:39Speaker 2: Impossible is coming out in two weeks.
- 23:41Speaker 1: And look, I haven't talked about her. I know she
- 23:44Speaker 1: was the Marilyn Monroe that like got all the Oscar nods,
- 23:46Speaker 1: but then people said it was like boring. I never
- 23:48Speaker 1: saw it. But I feel like we haven't talked about
- 23:52Speaker 1: her in a while, and she was kind of like
- 23:53Speaker 1: a hot subject when she was dating Ben Affleck. So
- 23:56Speaker 1: sadly– Yeah, guys now, it's working for guys too. If
- 24:00Speaker 1: they like, you know, Pete Davidson, he's mostly known. He's
- 24:04Speaker 1: not known for his funny characters on SNL, let's be honest.
- 24:07Speaker 1: He is known to the average person walking on earth
- 24:11Speaker 1: because he's dated not only Kim Kardashian, but a lot
- 24:13Speaker 1: of famous women. That's not to say he's not super
- 24:16Speaker 1: funny and talented, but like it does help people know
- 24:20Speaker 1: who you are when you're dating somebody Of interest.
- 24:23Speaker 2: I mean, it used to be the way they did
- 24:24Speaker 2: it in the 50s. Yeah, they wouldn't match you. Yeah,
- 24:25Speaker 2: it would just exactly go out with this person. And
- 24:28Speaker 2: it's true. I mean, some people, look at, I mean, honestly,
- 24:31Speaker 2: all the women that he's dated, their careers have been
- 24:34Speaker 2: helped by, I mean.
- 24:36Speaker 1: But people feel like.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Not to, you know, Penelope Cruz is a great actress,
- 24:40Speaker 2: but it helped. It helped with Mimi Rogers. I mean,
- 24:43Speaker 2: who knew who she was before they started dating?
- 24:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:46Speaker 2: And, you know, all the other ones.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Yeah, and Nicole Kidman. And then, but I feel like
- 24:50Speaker 1: Katie Holmes is, she thought it would boost her more
- 24:53Speaker 1: into the movie star world, and it really didn't.
- 24:56Speaker 2: No. Well, yeah. I mean, I think you got to be.
- 24:59Speaker 2: I don't know how good an actress she is. Nicole
- 25:01Speaker 2: Kidman's good.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Yeah. So anyway, so then Nicole Kidman, they said, excludes
- 25:09Speaker 1: her kids with her ex, Tom Cruise, from her Mother's
- 25:12Speaker 1: Day post. Well, she has had no relationship with those
- 25:15Speaker 1: two kids since they broke up.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Right.
- 25:18Speaker 1: The two kids were adopted.
- 25:19Speaker 3: Right.
- 25:20Speaker 1: With him. And there was always the rumor that that's
- 25:23Speaker 1: why they got divorced, because he believed something was going
- 25:31Speaker 1: on where there was some claim that he thought she
- 25:35Speaker 1: was some infidelity thing. Because like she or I don't
- 25:39Speaker 1: remember what it was, but the two adopted kids with him.
- 25:42Speaker 1: And then they and she said she was shocked when
- 25:45Speaker 1: he dumped her and he dumped her right before the
- 25:47Speaker 1: 10 year mark. And people wondered if that had to
- 25:48Speaker 1: do with money. And then she went on to, I believe,
- 25:53Speaker 1: carry the daughters. So she only with a... What's his name?
- 25:57Speaker 1: The singer.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Urban.
- 25:59Speaker 1: So, yeah. And then her mom. And I'm like, well,
- 26:01Speaker 1: she doesn't have any relationship with him, you know? And also,
- 26:05Speaker 1: it's just like, I don't know. Like, that was just
- 26:07Speaker 1: her post.
- 26:08Speaker 2: You know?
- 26:08Speaker 1: It's just like people... Sometimes these posts on these days
- 26:12Speaker 1: just get so analyzed and you can't do it right.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Like, you know. Yeah.
- 26:15Speaker 1: You can't. It's like we're all getting together for the graduation.
- 26:20Speaker 1: So Brandon is coming down from Oregon. Drake, I'm going
- 26:23Speaker 1: to see him, you know, tonight. And then we're all
- 26:26Speaker 1: going to be together on Wednesday for the graduation. So
- 26:29Speaker 1: just McKenzie came. Okay.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Did you post a Mother's Day picture?
- 26:33Speaker 1: Yeah, but I just posted it with McKenzie.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:36Speaker 1: I'm like, it's my mother's day. Like, I don't need
- 26:38Speaker 1: to go. Like, why do I need to spend 20
- 26:41Speaker 1: minutes doing hashtags?
- 26:42Speaker 2: Like, fuck.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Like, just, no, we had a great day. Went to
- 26:46Speaker 1: a fancy brunch, took some photos. I went in my pool.
- 26:49Speaker 1: It was the best. Who cares?
- 26:51Speaker 2: I can't. I can't even find a picture with me
- 26:53Speaker 2: and my mother together. Like, we took, I mean, she's
- 26:56Speaker 2: still going. Yeah, yeah. She'll send, like, a picture to
- 27:00Speaker 2: show this to Becca. She'll be like, there's a phone
- 27:01Speaker 2: down here. I'm like, why did you take that picture?
- 27:06Speaker 2: So I can't post anything like that, you know?
- 27:09Speaker 1: Yeah, so much of it is, and then it's like,
- 27:11Speaker 1: this was great, okay? This was Hilaria crossing the streets
- 27:15Speaker 1: of New York, holding her book, which came out, Hilaria Baldwin,
- 27:20Speaker 1: holding her book like this so you could see it
- 27:22Speaker 1: and being like, now you can pay these paps to
- 27:26Speaker 1: come take part as you. But you know what? I'm like, hey,
- 27:30Speaker 1: the book came out right around Mother's Day.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Right.
- 27:33Speaker 1: You got to sell that book. We we I had books,
- 27:37Speaker 1: you know, and I'd go into the bookstore and I'd
- 27:39Speaker 1: put mine in front of other people like everything you
- 27:41Speaker 1: had to do.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Actually, when we did like when we did after lately,
- 27:46Speaker 1: my second book was like a storyline and I had
- 27:48Speaker 1: like a big party and I'm like carrying the book
- 27:51Speaker 1: sign across the street, like calling the paparazzi.
- 27:54Speaker 3: I mean.
- 27:55Speaker 1: It's all what you have to do. She's got to
- 27:57Speaker 1: sell the book.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Wasn't Jerry Jewell at that? Didn't she come and film?
- 28:01Speaker 1: And after lately, she came. She loved my impression of her. No,
- 28:06Speaker 1: she showed up at the book.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:08Speaker 1: My actual book signing, who I would do an impression
- 28:12Speaker 1: of Jerry Jewell from Facts of Life as a stand-up comedian.
- 28:15Speaker 1: And I remember my friend goes, as we're going through,
- 28:17Speaker 1: as I'm signing the book, my friend goes, Jerry Jewell
- 28:20Speaker 1: is here. I go, shut up.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:22Speaker 1: And she's like, no. And- I go, hi. And she
- 28:26Speaker 1: was like, I love the impression. A lot of people
- 28:29Speaker 1: have done me. I love it. And if you ever
- 28:31Speaker 1: want me on the show, I'd love to come. So
- 28:33Speaker 1: then we wrote her a part. She got paid as
- 28:36Speaker 1: an actor to be in the bit about me getting
- 28:40Speaker 1: caught doing an impression of her while she's in the audience.
- 28:42Speaker 2: I think I remember your book party. I could be wrong.
- 28:47Speaker 2: And correct me if I am.
- 28:48Speaker 1: The book party, the second book, I had a real
- 28:50Speaker 1: book party.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Yes. And I think the guy who did... hide your
- 28:54Speaker 2: kids hide your wife I think he was there.
- 28:56Speaker 1: No because somebody wrote me but then I pressed my
- 28:59Speaker 1: PR he was right I'm not crazy yeah my PR
- 29:01Speaker 1: guy at the time goes this guy wants to come
- 29:05Speaker 1: and I mentioned it to you guys and you're like
- 29:07Speaker 1: fucking yes have him come and he came I know
- 29:11Speaker 1: because I was like why the hell not you know
- 29:13Speaker 1: I remember he.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Was trying to explain to me who he was and
- 29:15Speaker 2: it was kind of loud and he was like I'm
- 29:16Speaker 2: the hide your kids hide your wife and I'm like
- 29:19Speaker 2: what and then I was like oh yeah because you
- 29:21Speaker 2: look completely different you have like straight hair and I mean, wow.
- 29:26Speaker 1: I was desperate for anyone to come and stand in
- 29:29Speaker 1: front of that thing and tell the book. So anyway,
- 29:32Speaker 1: I have not read the book, but I did hear
- 29:35Speaker 1: that she does talk about the accent thing, but not much.
- 29:40Speaker 1: and says something to the effect that she has a
- 29:43Speaker 1: code-identifying problem.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Like a dyslexic-type situation. Yeah, it's complete bullshit, but whatever.
- 29:50Speaker 1: If you want to sell the book, just be like,
- 29:52Speaker 1: I started it, and I just kind of loved it.
- 29:56Speaker 1: And then it was like, Yeah, maybe it'll be like
- 30:00Speaker 1: the lie that Sherry Papini said, that she started her lie,
- 30:04Speaker 1: that she got kidnapped, and then she just couldn't stop
- 30:06Speaker 1: the lie. Yeah, yeah. But I guess she doesn't want
- 30:08Speaker 1: to say that. But, I mean, I love it. The Hilaria,
- 30:11Speaker 1: Sherry Papini.
- 30:13Speaker 2: And also, it's like, she's like a boring girl from, like, Boston.
- 30:17Speaker 2: It's probably like, I don't know, I felt more exciting
- 30:18Speaker 2: when I was a Spanish. You know what I mean?
- 30:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Like, that's it.
- 30:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:21Speaker 2: It's more fun to say cucumber than cute-cumber. That's it. Yeah.
- 30:25Speaker 1: And I also just want to say... My friend told
- 30:28Speaker 1: me that Alec Baldwin was going to this restaurant all
- 30:31Speaker 1: the time and he had a thing for Spanish girls.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Right.
- 30:33Speaker 1: I spoke Spanish and I turned it on and he
- 30:35Speaker 1: never asked me anything about me. We got married in
- 30:38Speaker 1: six months and then had seven kids.
- 30:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:41Speaker 1: And he just found out a year ago that I'm
- 30:43Speaker 1: from Boston and he still won't make a big deal
- 30:46Speaker 1: out of it.
- 30:46Speaker 2: He's just like, I'm in now, you know?
- 30:50Speaker 1: And then J-Lo just did like spinning around, which, you know,
- 30:54Speaker 1: a lot of women could just, I took a bathing
- 30:55Speaker 1: suit photo. Why the fuck not? Okay, so then, let's
- 30:59Speaker 1: see what else I want to talk about. Okay, P. Diddy.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 31:03Speaker 1: So this was from People, Jury, and Nearly Final. This
- 31:07Speaker 1: is from a couple days ago. Don't you think it's
- 31:10Speaker 1: kind of interesting that in this day and age, we
- 31:12Speaker 1: still have like a sketch reporter?
- 31:15Speaker 2: Yeah. In only certain cities, I believe.
- 31:18Speaker 1: It's like such an old-fashioned thing. I mean, it's kind
- 31:21Speaker 1: of like a beautiful art if that's what you do. Like,
- 31:23Speaker 1: I mean, if you're an artist and you can draw.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 31:27Speaker 1: That's a great gig. You get to draw. You get
- 31:30Speaker 1: to be on a juicy crime.
- 31:31Speaker 2: I know. And then when you're off, you're at Universal
- 31:34Speaker 2: Studios doing caricatures of people with a big head on
- 31:37Speaker 2: a skateboard.
- 31:38Speaker 1: But, like, of all the things, like, and same with
- 31:41Speaker 1: court reporters. I'm like, why do you need in the
- 31:45Speaker 1: day of today, but even AI from the last year
- 31:48Speaker 1: and a half, why? And I don't want a court
- 31:50Speaker 1: reporter to lose her job or his. But, like, why
- 31:53Speaker 1: do we, like, wonder, like, do we really need that anymore? Yeah.
- 31:56Speaker 1: You know, like, wouldn't they just be able to.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Well, core report and sketch art is two different things. But, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 32:00Speaker 1: I know, I know. But both things, like, wouldn't it
- 32:01Speaker 1: be able to just, like, we'd have photos. And we
- 32:03Speaker 1: would have, it just, just like you talk, text talk
- 32:06Speaker 1: to your phone. Like, why do you have to go,
- 32:07Speaker 1: can you read that back to me? Yeah. But anyway,
- 32:10Speaker 1: I don't.
- 32:10Speaker 2: I mean, it is. I think it does vary from,
- 32:12Speaker 2: I've always thought state to state. You could see in
- 32:14Speaker 2: some states they allow photographs. Oh. And some don't. I
- 32:18Speaker 2: think New York is one.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Oh, so if they don't, then you bring in the sketch.
- 32:21Speaker 2: That's why if it's in a New York courtroom, you
- 32:23Speaker 2: still see sketch artists.
- 32:25Speaker 1: And then I wonder, like, if you win, then you're like, hey,
- 32:28Speaker 1: can I buy that off of you? Because it was, like,
- 32:29Speaker 1: such a great experience. Like, if you're the, you know, like,
- 32:32Speaker 1: if you're the person on trial who didn't go to prison.
- 32:34Speaker 2: I don't know about this one. He looks like a.
- 32:36Speaker 1: They gave him a little white.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Yeah, because he's gray.
- 32:39Speaker 1: He is gray, but.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Okay, he's gray. Anyway.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Then I'll let you do the die in prison.
- 32:44Speaker 1: You know, 50 Cent. Always such a good time. He
- 32:47Speaker 1: posted this when they were looking for the jury. And
- 32:50Speaker 1: it's a photo of him, six of him in six
- 32:53Speaker 1: different colored suits.
- 32:54Speaker 2: This guy comes up pretty funny.
- 32:55Speaker 1: He is funny. And you know what? Make sure you
- 32:57Speaker 1: realize why he was into Chelsea. He probably loved our
- 33:01Speaker 1: show and was probably obsessed with the show. He wanted
- 33:04Speaker 1: to be a comedian. He wanted to be on the stage.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Right.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Okay, so the family arrived, all the kids, everybody in force.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:12Speaker 1: That's another thing about these big, long things. You know,
- 33:16Speaker 1: your whole family goes. And then, like any trial, it
- 33:19Speaker 1: starts to teeter off.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Like, is everyone going to come every single day, dressed
- 33:26Speaker 1: to the nines, where you have, like, a limited amount
- 33:28Speaker 1: of places to eat for lunch?
- 33:29Speaker 2: Right. You get in the court cafeteria. Yeah. Yeah.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Like, you know, are you going to go until the end?
- 33:37Speaker 2: Right.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Even when it's like you're the family of the victim,
- 33:40Speaker 1: even they get tired after a while and are like,
- 33:42Speaker 1: I don't want to go or I don't want to
- 33:43Speaker 1: hear that part of the testimony. They give them a
- 33:45Speaker 1: heads up. It's going to get real graphic or whatever.
- 33:48Speaker 1: So in, I guess, according to the prosecutors who's setting
- 33:52Speaker 1: up some of the stuff they're going to present, a
- 33:55Speaker 1: lot of it is from Cassie because once she got
- 33:59Speaker 1: her big $ 30 million or whatever from the case with him,
- 34:06Speaker 1: I guess all of that then became, hey, you want
- 34:08Speaker 1: to be a witness for us? And she was like,
- 34:10Speaker 1: I guess so.
- 34:11Speaker 2: And she's the one on the hotel elevator video? Yes.
- 34:13Speaker 1: So her whole story, which was in her case, which
- 34:17Speaker 1: got her the $ 30 million, that's really the evidence. That's
- 34:23Speaker 1: the strong evidence. And then because their defense is he
- 34:29Speaker 1: just had these freak-offs. Everybody that wanted to be there
- 34:32Speaker 1: wanted to be there. Yes, we had sex workers, but
- 34:35Speaker 1: they were workers. They were paid.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Right.
- 34:37Speaker 1: No one was there against their will and no one
- 34:39Speaker 1: was underage. And like, so you shouldn't jury judge my
- 34:43Speaker 1: client on his sexual preferences.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Right.
- 34:48Speaker 1: But in it, it says the feds, this is according
- 34:51Speaker 1: to TMZ, who's covering this case. The feds say Diddy
- 34:55Speaker 1: called the parties with male escorts, freak offs, wild king
- 34:59Speaker 1: nights or hotel nights. And they say his staff organized
- 35:02Speaker 1: transportation and lodging and set up rooms with lubricant and lighting,
- 35:06Speaker 1: paying sex workers.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Oh, hopefully it was the Halle Berry lubricant. Wait, I
- 35:10Speaker 2: think there could be a tie-in. Where's Halle Berry when
- 35:13Speaker 2: you need her?
- 35:15Speaker 1: Well, I mean, but they said one of the things
- 35:19Speaker 1: that he mentioned was that Diddy made an escort pee
- 35:21Speaker 1: on in Cassie's mouth. They say Diddy was directing every
- 35:26Speaker 1: step of the sex parties. And he expected the women
- 35:29Speaker 1: to appear like they were enjoying themselves.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 35:32Speaker 1: So the peeing in the mouth, you know, well, you know.
- 35:36Speaker 2: What that reminds me of. I mean, what does that
- 35:40Speaker 2: remind you of?
- 35:42Speaker 1: Well, I mean, not to bring it back to our
- 35:45Speaker 1: old boss, but like she had like a video and
- 35:48Speaker 1: has talked about it on talk shows and everything. Like
- 35:51Speaker 1: she was in the water about to get up from
- 35:54Speaker 1: like snorkeling and Jason whipped it out and peed. on
- 35:58Speaker 1: her face, and the video went viral.
- 36:00Speaker 2: She was in the water.
- 36:01Speaker 1: In the water. I mean, she could just dip her head. But, like, still, like, oh,
- 36:06Speaker 1: what a funny thing this is. But I'd be like, no,
- 36:08Speaker 1: this isn't funny. But then there are people, I'm sure,
- 36:14Speaker 1: that would say, that's my sexual kink, is I actually
- 36:20Speaker 1: want to be peed on and all that other stuff.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Clip that. Clip that. Take it out of context. Yeah,
- 36:28Speaker 2: take it out of context. Just to be telling you.
- 36:30Speaker 1: My sexual kink is I'm like, Peter, don't you dare
- 36:36Speaker 1: go to the bathroom before we both hop in the
- 36:39Speaker 1: shower together. Because I want to feel it.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Don't have asparagus for the next or the previous three days.
- 36:47Speaker 1: Right, before we get mine, because that's my kink.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Because I'm into it.
- 36:51Speaker 1: That's my kink. I don't know, but that's what they're
- 36:53Speaker 1: going to say. Who knows what this is? Who knows
- 36:55Speaker 1: that they won't bring... In people, women, as experts saying, yeah,
- 37:03Speaker 1: it's something that I really loved. I love the flavor.
- 37:05Speaker 1: I don't know what they're going to have. They're going
- 37:06Speaker 1: to try to say that everybody was a willing participant. Yeah.
- 37:11Speaker 2: Well, I mean, you have to have a defense, and
- 37:15Speaker 2: there's your defense.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Okay. Let's lighten it up because it's a dark subject.
- 37:19Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 37:20Speaker 1: I wrote to you and I said, are you watching Hacks?
- 37:23Speaker 2: I have.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Season four, HBO Max. This is the show I've talked about.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Guy Brennan wrote on it the first season, so he's
- 37:30Speaker 1: not writing on it this season. This season is the
- 37:33Speaker 1: character of Deborah Vance, who's kind of a combo of,
- 37:37Speaker 1: it's a created character, but I feel like they take
- 37:41Speaker 1: a lot from different people and then create a character.
- 37:43Speaker 1: So it's a little Joan Rivers-ish that she's sold stuff
- 37:46Speaker 1: on QVC and she's kind of snarky and then, you know,
- 37:50Speaker 1: there's a little of like, I see myself in it.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Like I see a lot of, it's really a great character.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Her name's Deborah Vance and she's in her early 70s
- 37:58Speaker 1: and they decide to give the new late night spot
- 38:01Speaker 1: to her.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Right.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Which, I'm sorry, would never happen.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Never.
- 38:06Speaker 1: It wouldn't happen for a 70 year old man. I mean,
- 38:09Speaker 1: you want to give it to someone that's going to
- 38:11Speaker 1: do it for 20 years.
- 38:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:12Speaker 1: At least, at least, in my opinion.
- 38:15Speaker 2: I did watch like four episodes of Season 4 last night. And, I, I,
- 38:20Speaker 2: I've tried to give this show, I've given this show
- 38:22Speaker 2: a hundred chances. I, I, I'm sorry. I know it
- 38:25Speaker 2: wins all the awards. I, it's just bad. I'm sorry. I, I'm,
- 38:28Speaker 2: it's a bad show as a guy who's in comedy.
- 38:31Speaker 2: I don't feel the people who are behind it are
- 38:34Speaker 2: in comedy. Like I'm, I don't feel like the standup
- 38:36Speaker 2: is portrayed properly. I don't feel like the road is
- 38:39Speaker 2: portrayed properly. I don't feel like late night television portrayed properly.
- 38:42Speaker 2: And I thought it.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Was a little, I felt it was a little bit
- 38:45Speaker 1: because they show like, you know, trying to get, they
- 38:49Speaker 1: don't make a guest falls out. We would have things
- 38:51Speaker 1: like that. And especially in the beginning. And like, I
- 38:54Speaker 1: actually thought there was a lot of things. It was,
- 38:57Speaker 1: to me, it was quite triggering to use the word
- 38:59Speaker 1: of the decade. And I felt like I couldn't even sleep. Okay,
- 39:04Speaker 1: you didn't get to the episode.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Not yet. I'm on four.
- 39:07Speaker 1: She does something so cruel to the young woman writer
- 39:13Speaker 1: that now they're at odds. They were best friends. She
- 39:15Speaker 1: was the assistant.
- 39:16Speaker 2: I know, yeah.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Not the assistant. She was her writer, and then she
- 39:18Speaker 1: became head writer. And she does something so cruel and
- 39:21Speaker 1: humiliating while they're watching. Okay, I'm just going to tell
- 39:26Speaker 1: you what she does.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Okay, go ahead.
- 39:28Speaker 1: So they're matched they're they're hating each other during this
- 39:30Speaker 1: time she hates her head she hates they hate each
- 39:33Speaker 1: other and the girl has a the girl is bisexual.
- 39:37Speaker 2: The the girl what's the hannah einbein.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Hannah's character is and um And at one time she
- 39:44Speaker 1: had a very serious girlfriend early, like two seasons ago,
- 39:47Speaker 1: that was like a rising actress. And she thought they
- 39:51Speaker 1: were going to get married and the girl dumped her.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Okay.
- 39:53Speaker 1: The girl comes on as a last minute. No, the
- 39:56Speaker 1: girl ends up doing a longer segment. Debra goes to
- 40:00Speaker 1: keep her for a longer time. Already Hannah's dying because
- 40:03Speaker 1: it's her ex-girlfriend. And she's like, okay. So she's on
- 40:07Speaker 1: the floor watching it. And they have time to fill.
- 40:11Speaker 1: And Debra goes... Don't you have a funny story about
- 40:15Speaker 1: your superhero ring that you use in this movie? And
- 40:19Speaker 1: then the girl goes, oh, well, I didn't think I
- 40:20Speaker 1: was going to tell this story, but yes. Didn't your
- 40:24Speaker 1: ex-girlfriend think that the ring was for her? And she
- 40:30Speaker 1: has this whole story where Hannah thought the girl was
- 40:36Speaker 1: going to ask her to marry her because she found
- 40:38Speaker 1: the ring, which was just a prop.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember that.
- 40:41Speaker 1: Watching it. It was like, to me, it was just
- 40:45Speaker 1: one of those things after being on a late night
- 40:47Speaker 1: show where writers were used for content and used in
- 40:51Speaker 1: a humiliating way. It was so triggering. I literally could
- 40:56Speaker 1: not sleep all night. Wow. So I was like, it
- 41:00Speaker 1: was so mean. Yeah. So to me, I find it interesting,
- 41:04Speaker 1: but I definitely will agree it's not getting the buzz
- 41:07Speaker 1: as far as just among people I know that it
- 41:10Speaker 1: did the first couple seasons.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Here's my problem with it. I watch it. I'm like,
- 41:14Speaker 2: what year is this being shot in? Just like talking
- 41:16Speaker 2: about late night television as if it's still relevant. Like
- 41:19Speaker 2: at one point she goes, first of all, like you
- 41:21Speaker 2: said earlier, there's no way she would be hired to
- 41:23Speaker 2: be late night television. It just wouldn't have happened. So
- 41:26Speaker 2: right there, the premise is ridiculous. And then... she says
- 41:30Speaker 2: something like, I need this in three months to be
- 41:32Speaker 2: a global phenomenon, this show.
- 41:34Speaker 1: To be number one, yeah.
- 41:35Speaker 2: There's no, it doesn't happen anymore. Yeah, yeah. Then you
- 41:38Speaker 2: need to be talking about podcast, like Joe, like things
- 41:41Speaker 2: like that. Yeah. You're losing your, maybe they do, I
- 41:44Speaker 2: don't know.
- 41:44Speaker 1: You know what? That's what's gonna happen.
- 41:46Speaker 2: Yeah, like you're losing your gas to- Season five.
- 41:48Speaker 1: Is now gonna be her getting a podcast.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Yeah, or like losing out guests to whatever shows. I mean,
- 41:55Speaker 2: it's just, sometimes I find it to be like, Like
- 41:58Speaker 2: just even the Helen Hunt character, I'm like, this doesn't
- 42:01Speaker 2: even exist anymore. And I think everybody knows that. Like
- 42:05Speaker 2: talking about late night television, it feels like such an
- 42:07Speaker 2: archaic plot line to base an entire season on.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Right. Yeah. Well, I see what you mean, but there's
- 42:16Speaker 1: some kind of things. Then they have the writers and
- 42:18Speaker 1: they're just like such a mismatch of weirdos.
- 42:21Speaker 2: I hate when they make, as a guy who was
- 42:23Speaker 2: a television writer, you as well on the same show,
- 42:26Speaker 2: Good looking. We had a very good looking staff of people.
- 42:28Speaker 2: I hate when they make all the writers the frump-a-dumps
- 42:32Speaker 2: that they have in this show.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Well, they're just a handy, or just, I don't know.
- 42:35Speaker 1: It's fine. But I still love the two of them.
- 42:41Speaker 1: And the acting is incredible.
- 42:44Speaker 2: They're good.
- 42:45Speaker 1: I disagree. I think Hannah's... I know.
- 42:46Speaker 2: I'm just telling you.
- 42:47Speaker 1: I think Hannah's acting is.
- 42:49Speaker 2: She's excellent. She's better than she's ever been this year.
- 42:51Speaker 1: I think her acting is really, really good.
- 42:53Speaker 2: And Jean Smart's always great.
- 42:53Speaker 1: So even if you don't like this season, I think
- 42:56Speaker 1: she should definitely be nominated.
- 42:57Speaker 2: She's great.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Like, she's crying on cue. Yeah.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Like, I.
- 43:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:02Speaker 1: I'm going to say this. But, I mean, and she
- 43:05Speaker 1: has a freakout.
- 43:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:06Speaker 1: And quits. And it made me go, oh, my God,
- 43:09Speaker 1: I never, ever, like... It just, like I said, it
- 43:12Speaker 1: was just a very, like it says it's been 10
- 43:14Speaker 1: years since I've been there. I personally think they did
- 43:16Speaker 1: capture it, but maybe you didn't. Maybe because I'm a woman,
- 43:19Speaker 1: I feel like my perspective is different and being like
- 43:23Speaker 1: that person that was at one time really like, also
- 43:25Speaker 1: she was really close to her at one time. Now
- 43:27Speaker 1: they hate each other. Like there's a lot about it,
- 43:29Speaker 1: but I'm glad to get your perspective.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Yeah. And also I'm going to say this and I
- 43:33Speaker 2: don't know why it drives me crazy. And I think
- 43:35Speaker 2: it might be an HBO thing. Uh, I've never seen
- 43:39Speaker 2: worst extra acting in my life. First of all, Sex
- 43:43Speaker 2: and the City used to have the worst.
- 43:44Speaker 1: You mean the background actors?
- 43:45Speaker 2: The background people. The people in the background who were
- 43:47Speaker 2: just going really over. And I thought Sex and the
- 43:50Speaker 2: City was the worst one. And now this is topping it.
- 43:55Speaker 2: Whoever's directing the second people, the unit, whatever they call it,
- 43:59Speaker 2: those people need to just tell them, just don't do anything.
- 44:02Speaker 2: Don't do anything. She's going to walk past. They're going
- 44:04Speaker 2: to have a blowout by the pool. You don't need
- 44:07Speaker 2: to go, like you're in a Charlie Chaplin movie. I mean,
- 44:10Speaker 2: it drives me insane. Now I can't stop watching the
- 44:12Speaker 2: background actors and it drives me nuts.
- 44:14Speaker 1: That is a good time. You know our show is
- 44:16Speaker 1: coming back. Have you seen the trailer for Sex and
- 44:20Speaker 1: the City?
- 44:21Speaker 2: Yes. Way too much kids.
- 44:24Speaker 1: Way too much kids. And I'm like, but I'll never
- 44:26Speaker 1: not watch it. But I'm not excited. Like, I'm sorry,
- 44:30Speaker 1: I'm sad, Chaz. Chaz is gone.
- 44:32Speaker 3: I know.
- 44:33Speaker 1: Wait, Chaz, was it her name?
- 44:34Speaker 2: No, it wasn't Chaz.
- 44:37Speaker 1: What was the name? Diaz. It was something Diaz.
- 44:42Speaker 2: Chay Diaz. Chay Diaz.
- 44:43Speaker 1: I'm bummed that Chay... I loved the whole... I loved
- 44:46Speaker 1: the Chay Diaz.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Thing so much. We goofed on her so much, they
- 44:50Speaker 2: got rid of her.
- 44:51Speaker 1: It was so much fun to talk about. I'm like,
- 44:52Speaker 1: I hope she... I hope.
- 44:54Speaker 2: And she started getting better. Yeah. You know, like the
- 44:56Speaker 2: second season, it got a little better. I mean, it was... Anyway,
- 44:59Speaker 2: well now she.
- 45:01Speaker 1: But we see Miranda and she's got like a new
- 45:04Speaker 1: love and we'll see what happens. But I don't know
- 45:07Speaker 1: if it was the music or what, but the trailer
- 45:10Speaker 1: was not getting me excited. But I'll never not stop watching.
- 45:15Speaker 2: No, me too.
- 45:16Speaker 1: Okay, so now let's talk about some other things. Apparently
- 45:18Speaker 1: there's been a lot of talk about Kelly Clarkson leaving
- 45:21Speaker 1: her daytime talk show. She was on stage and she
- 45:24Speaker 1: referenced like, This was so great to come on stage and,
- 45:28Speaker 1: you know, she did like a show. We can't do
- 45:30Speaker 1: a lot of these with the daytime shows. So I
- 45:34Speaker 1: don't think being a daytime talk show host was ever
- 45:36Speaker 1: like her aspirations. When she was a nobody, it was
- 45:40Speaker 1: to be a singer. And she doesn't need the money.
- 45:44Speaker 1: She has this whole other talent that she probably feels
- 45:48Speaker 1: is not getting. But I also feel that's why the
- 45:51Speaker 1: show's a hit.
- 45:52Speaker 2: Yeah, does she sing in the beginning?
- 45:53Speaker 1: Oh, she sings all the time. But I just think
- 45:56Speaker 1: she's a very likable person, but it's a hit.
- 45:58Speaker 2: She's very good.
- 45:58Speaker 1: She doesn't want to do it anymore, but she hasn't
- 46:01Speaker 1: announced it. Yeah.
- 46:04Speaker 2: Is that your opinion, or did she not want to
- 46:06Speaker 2: do it anymore? She hasn't been there for a while.
- 46:10Speaker 3: Right.
- 46:10Speaker 1: She has said many things where it's clear that she
- 46:15Speaker 1: is having guilt and wants to, not guilt, but she
- 46:18Speaker 1: wants to be with her young kids more. And whatever
- 46:21Speaker 1: the situation is, I don't know why they can't move
- 46:23Speaker 1: it to Nashville or wherever. Why they can't move the
- 46:27Speaker 1: shows closer together. They're probably trying to do anything to
- 46:30Speaker 1: keep her.
- 46:31Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Because I don't think bringing somebody else in is going
- 46:34Speaker 1: to keep the audience. So the latest rumor is that
- 46:37Speaker 1: they may.
- 46:38Speaker 2: Be giving– They're going to bring in some 70-year-old comedian.
- 46:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:40Speaker 1: They're going to give– the rumor is Hody Coppy.
- 46:43Speaker 2: I know. I saw that.
- 46:44Speaker 1: But we've already done that. That doesn't make sense either.
- 46:47Speaker 1: And then apparently she left Jenna Hager Bush because– wait.
- 46:54Speaker 1: That's not her name. Jenna Bush Hager.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:56Speaker 1: Um, because they weren't going to pay her what she wanted. Yeah.
- 47:00Speaker 1: And then that she was an older mom and wanted
- 47:02Speaker 1: to walk the kids to school. So then I was like, okay,
- 47:05Speaker 1: she'll just like do, and she already has podcasts. I'm like,
- 47:07Speaker 1: she'll just do her podcast and like, whatever that'll be now.
- 47:10Speaker 1: I don't think it'll be her. I don't, I don't know.
- 47:13Speaker 1: Maybe they think let's go for something old and familiar
- 47:15Speaker 1: since the audience that watches it is not probably young moms.
- 47:18Speaker 1: But I think if I was the executive, I would
- 47:22Speaker 1: get like a funny young girl.
- 47:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:26Speaker 1: To do it.
- 47:26Speaker 2: Right.
- 47:27Speaker 1: But also I think the appeal- That would bring in
- 47:28Speaker 1: like a hip audience.
- 47:30Speaker 2: I think the appeal of this show is that it
- 47:32Speaker 2: is the singing and stuff.
- 47:33Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. Yeah.
- 47:34Speaker 2: You almost need somebody who can sing like the other one.
- 47:38Speaker 1: I feel like they were doing that had happened with
- 47:40Speaker 1: Jennifer Hudson, but I don't think Jennifer Hudson sings on
- 47:43Speaker 1: her show.
- 47:44Speaker 2: No, I don't think so either. Who does the spirit
- 47:46Speaker 2: walk where they walk down the hallway and all the
- 47:48Speaker 2: people sing for them?
- 47:49Speaker 1: Oh, that is- Isn't that Jennifer Hudson? That is Jennifer Hudson.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. That's become quite a thing.
- 47:55Speaker 1: So that's her thing. That's her, you know, karaoke cut, whatever.
- 47:59Speaker 1: Carpool karaoke. Yeah.
- 48:00Speaker 2: You know, he came back. When did they? James Corden
- 48:03Speaker 2: was at the Met Gala. Oh, yeah.
- 48:05Speaker 1: He's emerging. I don't miss him.
- 48:07Speaker 2: We were done with him.
- 48:08Speaker 1: I don't miss him at all.
- 48:10Speaker 2: Listen, I love your English fans, but take him back.
- 48:14Speaker 2: We don't want him anymore. We are done with him. Yeah. Again.
- 48:18Speaker 1: Yeah. You know what? That's a late night choice that
- 48:22Speaker 1: pissed me off.
- 48:23Speaker 2: Yeah. Lasted a long time.
- 48:24Speaker 1: Keep it to Americans. No, just kidding.
- 48:29Speaker 2: Yeah, lasted a long time.
- 48:29Speaker 1: Why are these English people taking all of our jobs?
- 48:32Speaker 1: They're already all the hostesses at fancy restaurants. You always
- 48:35Speaker 1: have to have an English accent to answer the phone.
- 48:38Speaker 2: She didn't do it for that long. I mean, she
- 48:39Speaker 2: hasn't been on it for 20 years. You know what
- 48:41Speaker 2: I mean? How long has she been doing her talk show?
- 48:44Speaker 1: I also just think people, younger people, which I love,
- 48:48Speaker 1: it's like, They're all about their mental health. And if
- 48:51Speaker 1: this show is not fun anymore and she knows I
- 48:53Speaker 1: don't need the paycheck, she would never have to work
- 48:56Speaker 1: again another day in her life. She could live a
- 48:57Speaker 1: lovely life, pay for college, buy her kids first homes.
- 49:01Speaker 1: You know, I think there comes a time where people
- 49:03Speaker 1: are just like, I don't want to do it. Like, sure,
- 49:07Speaker 1: will I regret it? I don't know, maybe. But maybe not. Like,
- 49:09Speaker 1: who cares? I don't know. She's, you know... And also,
- 49:13Speaker 1: you know, yeah, she's divorced. She's, you know... looking great.
- 49:18Speaker 2: I'm shocked at how many people watch these afternoon... I mean,
- 49:20Speaker 2: it's a lot of them on. And they all do
- 49:22Speaker 2: seem to do pretty well.
- 49:24Speaker 1: Hers is exceptional.
- 49:25Speaker 2: I know. Hers is.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Okay, so getting to the latest on the Blake Lively.
- 49:30Speaker 1: People call her Fake Lively.
- 49:31Speaker 2: Oh, is that right? Yeah.
- 49:32Speaker 1: It's like Amber Turd.
- 49:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:35Speaker 1: And she is... supposedly breaking her silence, but it's through
- 49:41Speaker 1: her attorney. She has been... She has gotten notice. She
- 49:45Speaker 1: will be subpoenaed to testify in the Justin Baldoni, Blake Lively...
- 49:51Speaker 1: Taylor Swift will. Taylor Swift will. And they're basically saying
- 49:55Speaker 1: her attorney said to the effect of, she didn't write
- 49:59Speaker 1: the script. She was never on set. One of her
- 50:03Speaker 1: songs was used for it. That's it. She didn't advise anybody.
- 50:06Speaker 1: She didn't... Because... It goes back to one thing that
- 50:11Speaker 1: Blake Lively wrote in text going back and forth with
- 50:15Speaker 1: Justin when they were on decent terms while filming the
- 50:18Speaker 1: movie is she wanted to rewrite this scene that clearly
- 50:24Speaker 1: Ryan Reynolds got his hands on with his corny ass
- 50:27Speaker 1: weird jokes. And that's where she goes, you know, where
- 50:31Speaker 1: he's like, I like you. And she goes, what are you, five?
- 50:34Speaker 1: I like you. And then that was one of the
- 50:35Speaker 1: weird Ryan lines. The other one was, He's like, I'm
- 50:38Speaker 1: a neurosurgeon. And she starts hysterically laughing. She's like, oh,
- 50:41Speaker 1: I thought you were like a finance bro. Like it
- 50:44Speaker 1: was just anyway. So he goes, OK, I get it.
- 50:47Speaker 1: Great job. Like he's just appeasing her. He's like, great
- 50:49Speaker 1: job on it. And she's like, yeah, like basically she
- 50:53Speaker 1: says it. Ryan and or she refers to Ryan and
- 50:59Speaker 1: Taylor as I've got two dragons. Have you ever seen
- 51:01Speaker 1: Game of Thrones? I'm like Khaleesi's and I've got my
- 51:04Speaker 1: two dragons here. And they loved, you know, working on
- 51:08Speaker 1: it with me. So now Taylor, who nobody ever wants
- 51:12Speaker 1: to be dragged into a subpoena, especially when you're famous,
- 51:16Speaker 1: which means your text messages might be subpoenaed. And I
- 51:21Speaker 1: don't even know if you can filter, but I mean,
- 51:22Speaker 1: I don't think anybody would ever want their phone turned
- 51:25Speaker 1: over to anybody, let alone a court thing in a public.
- 51:28Speaker 1: So I think she's probably like, he did say I saw,
- 51:31Speaker 1: I met her once, like once she was there. At
- 51:34Speaker 1: the house and was like, oh, I'm excited. You know,
- 51:38Speaker 1: I'm excited for this movie. Congrats. And so basically now
- 51:42Speaker 1: she's saying, no, like, I didn't help write this thing.
- 51:44Speaker 1: I wasn't there to, like, lead me out of it.
- 51:47Speaker 1: But that's too bad. She's going to come.
- 51:49Speaker 2: Wow. I mean, that'll be exciting.
- 51:52Speaker 1: And then Blake Lively's rep slams bully Justin Baldoni for
- 51:58Speaker 1: subpoenaing her. They said it calls an attack on women's rights.
- 52:03Speaker 1: Which I'm like, sorry, this is a big thing. You
- 52:05Speaker 1: brought it on and you should have thought about before
- 52:09Speaker 1: you filed the lawsuit, you know, that all these people
- 52:13Speaker 1: that are in your life, including, I guess, Bradley Cooper
- 52:16Speaker 1: was somehow mentioned too.
- 52:18Speaker 2: They all live in the same building or something. I
- 52:19Speaker 2: think in New York they all live in the same building.
- 52:21Speaker 1: Or he was at the party that like Ryan yelled
- 52:25Speaker 1: at Justin.
- 52:26Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 52:26Speaker 1: There's so much. Blake Lively asked the judge to make
- 52:29Speaker 1: Justin Baldoni and others hand over financial records. This I
- 52:32Speaker 1: could see happening. So he's suing for $ 400 million.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Right.
- 52:37Speaker 1: And when this happens with like– which is along the
- 52:42Speaker 1: same lines of slander. So you say I'm this horrible
- 52:47Speaker 1: person and I want to sue– you say something. I
- 52:51Speaker 1: killed a puppy, OK? And I didn't kill a puppy
- 52:55Speaker 1: and I proved I didn't kill a puppy. But you
- 52:57Speaker 1: said it and I lost a puppy chow commercial and da-da-da-da.
- 53:00Speaker 2: Right.
- 53:01Speaker 1: So now if I sue you for slander, I would
- 53:03Speaker 1: have to prove that right after you said I killed
- 53:07Speaker 1: a puppy, the deal that had already been inked was revoked.
- 53:11Speaker 3: Right.
- 53:11Speaker 1: And I lost $ 2 million to selling Puppy Chow. So
- 53:16Speaker 1: she's saying like you have to prove that since then
- 53:19Speaker 1: you've lost, you and Wayfarer have lost at least $ 400
- 53:22Speaker 1: million worth of business.
- 53:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:25Speaker 1: He was dumped by the agent and I guess lost
- 53:29Speaker 1: a directing job.
- 53:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 53:31Speaker 1: That's normal that he'd have to show that. But this
- 53:33Speaker 1: is not going away.
- 53:34Speaker 2: Oh, I wish it would. I mean, I'm so, I
- 53:39Speaker 2: was into it.
- 53:39Speaker 1: I know, but I have to just fill people in.
- 53:41Speaker 2: No, I understand. I get it. But it's one of
- 53:43Speaker 2: those stories that I just feel like I've had enough,
- 53:47Speaker 2: you know, of both of them.
- 53:48Speaker 1: Well, I really had enough because I watched Another Simple Favor.
- 53:52Speaker 2: Oh.
- 53:54Speaker 1: So if this is something you guys want to watch, okay,
- 53:57Speaker 1: skip like a couple minutes because I'm going to tell
- 54:00Speaker 1: you what I fucking thought of it.
- 54:01Speaker 2: Okay.
- 54:02Speaker 1: It was awful. It was the worst, and I loved
- 54:07Speaker 1: the first one.
- 54:07Speaker 2: Really?
- 54:08Speaker 1: The first one was like a black comedy, and there
- 54:11Speaker 1: were twists and turns, and I didn't know where it
- 54:12Speaker 1: was going. This one is like a crazy soap opera
- 54:17Speaker 1: turned weird Lifetime movie with awful acting, mixed in with
- 54:23Speaker 1: Nickelodeon acting. Wow. It was so bad. Right away, I
- 54:29Speaker 1: predicted the... The plot.
- 54:32Speaker 2: Okay.
- 54:33Speaker 1: Which was. Okay.
- 54:36Speaker 2: Spoiler.
- 54:38Speaker 1: So in the first one. It turns out she has
- 54:40Speaker 1: a twin sister. And she kills a twin sister.
- 54:42Speaker 2: Anna Kendrick or.
- 54:44Speaker 1: Blake Lively. And she kills a twin sister. And like. Whatever.
- 54:47Speaker 2: I don't even remember.
- 54:47Speaker 1: It was so long ago. She gets out of prison.
- 54:50Speaker 2: Now she.
- 54:50Speaker 1: Wants Anna Kendrick to be her maid of honor. After
- 54:52Speaker 1: Anna Kendrick. And Anna Kendrick's character. Is doing everything we do.
- 54:56Speaker 1: She's got. You know. A YouTube. She's looking at her likes.
- 55:00Speaker 2: She's.
- 55:01Speaker 1: Posting all the time and she's got books and she's
- 55:05Speaker 1: like come and be my maid of honor even though
- 55:08Speaker 1: like you thought I tried to kill you or whatever
- 55:11Speaker 1: and since I've seen so many parodies of people imitating
- 55:14Speaker 1: Blake Lively in the last movie I just can't take
- 55:17Speaker 1: her seriously like she still has weird outfits on and
- 55:21Speaker 1: like she's very like a skirt with pants underneath and
- 55:24Speaker 1: too many chains and she's like hmm and she does
- 55:27Speaker 1: this weird thing with her mouth and she's like Hey, baby.
- 55:31Speaker 2: No. Oh, sweetheart.
- 55:32Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. And her hair is like crazy. And it's
- 55:37Speaker 1: just it's bizarre. She's making like twenty nine martinis in
- 55:41Speaker 1: a row. And like and it's just it's just awful.
- 55:46Speaker 1: And the twists are so stupid. And the twist. OK,
- 55:50Speaker 1: ready for the full spoiler?
- 55:52Speaker 2: Sure.
- 55:52Speaker 1: She gets married to a guy, turns out. Um, the only,
- 55:57Speaker 1: she was his beard and he was really gay.
- 55:59Speaker 2: Okay.
- 55:59Speaker 1: So that was one thing. Then her, another, what I
- 56:04Speaker 1: predicted was they're not, they're not just twins. There's like,
- 56:08Speaker 1: they're identical triplets. Oh, so sure enough, the third one comes.
- 56:12Speaker 2: Who is it?
- 56:13Speaker 1: Which has been a movie a million times. It's herself
- 56:15Speaker 1: playing identical. So it's her playing both roles and they
- 56:19Speaker 1: just kind of change her eye makeup a little and
- 56:21Speaker 1: like change her lipstick. And, Are you ready for the
- 56:25Speaker 1: finale of this?
- 56:26Speaker 2: Yes, I am.
- 56:27Speaker 1: The sister is sexually obsessed with her and they have
- 56:32Speaker 1: lesbian sex.
- 56:34Speaker 2: What? The sister?
- 56:35Speaker 1: The twin, the triplet sisters do, except one is dead.
- 56:39Speaker 2: They all, oh, I don't like that.
- 56:42Speaker 1: And they're making out. And so it's like, maybe this
- 56:46Speaker 1: would have been shocking had we not seen White Lotus.
- 56:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:49Speaker 2: I feel like just the poster alone is going for
- 56:51Speaker 2: the White Lotus audience.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Yes, with all the different people. Oh, and then in
- 56:58Speaker 1: the corner is Elizabeth Perkins with the wig on. I
- 57:03Speaker 1: never understood what her character was. She was barely in it.
- 57:05Speaker 1: I think she had Alzheimer's. I don't even know. I
- 57:09Speaker 1: was going to look up Please Explain the Movie to
- 57:11Speaker 1: me because I was falling asleep in between. And I
- 57:13Speaker 1: was like, I don't care. It was so lame. It
- 57:17Speaker 1: was embarrassingly bad and lame.
- 57:19Speaker 2: So at the end, she has lesbian sex with her sister.
- 57:22Speaker 2: Her twin sister.
- 57:23Speaker 1: The sister drugs her and then goes down on her
- 57:25Speaker 1: and fingers her and stuff.
- 57:27Speaker 2: Really? Oh.
- 57:29Speaker 1: And then the way she saves herself from her mean
- 57:31Speaker 1: sister is she says.
- 57:32Speaker 2: Peas in somebody's mouth? What?
- 57:36Speaker 1: Is she says, yes, we are in love. And they
- 57:39Speaker 1: start making out in front of her son, who's 10.
- 57:43Speaker 1: And the 10-year-old's dad died.
- 57:44Speaker 3: Uh-huh.
- 57:49Speaker 1: The morning of his mom remarrying and he still was
- 57:52Speaker 1: like at the ceremony.
- 57:54Speaker 2: Wow.
- 57:55Speaker 1: Like the guy is killed and they're like, well, we're
- 57:57Speaker 1: still just going to go ahead with this wedding now.
- 57:59Speaker 1: I don't even know. But what was nice about it
- 58:02Speaker 1: is it took place in Capri, however you want to
- 58:05Speaker 1: announce it. And that was fun because I was there
- 58:07Speaker 1: last summer and I liked looking at the places.
- 58:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that's awesome.
- 58:10Speaker 1: So like if you want to just look at the
- 58:13Speaker 1: beautiful views and like you've ever been there or you
- 58:15Speaker 1: want to revisit it in your life, That's fun.
- 58:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that sounds nice.
- 58:20Speaker 1: But it was an awful movie.
- 58:23Speaker 2: Oh, I could... I wouldn't even.
- 58:25Speaker 1: And this girl, this girl in the corner, she's a
- 58:27Speaker 1: book agent. And so when she's like, oh my God, Sean,
- 58:30Speaker 1: who was the husband who just died, but someone killed him.
- 58:34Speaker 1: She's like, he just died. And she jumps up and down. Yay,
- 58:37Speaker 1: new book. We're going to have a new book. And
- 58:40Speaker 1: I guess it's supposed to be like weird and campy.
- 58:42Speaker 1: It just didn't... It just.
- 58:44Speaker 5: I think.
- 58:45Speaker 1: I could have possibly enjoyed it had this whole last
- 58:48Speaker 1: six months not happened.
- 58:49Speaker 2: Yeah, you're a little tainted by Blake Lively.
- 58:51Speaker 1: I'm tainted by all the horrible impressions of Blake Lively
- 58:54Speaker 1: and the fact that she's that person. Yeah. And there
- 58:57Speaker 1: you go.
- 58:58Speaker 2: I get it.
- 58:58Speaker 1: That was awful. Okay, let's talk about Karen Reid, the
- 59:01Speaker 1: latest with Karen Reid. I mentioned you the other day
- 59:04Speaker 1: when I talked about it.
- 59:05Speaker 2: Oh, good. How so?
- 59:06Speaker 1: Well, one of the biggest things is they. say, how
- 59:12Speaker 1: is it that she brings her friend, Jen McCabe, to
- 59:15Speaker 1: go look for missing John, and they discover him on
- 59:19Speaker 1: the front lawn of Jen McCabe's sister and brother-in-law's home
- 59:24Speaker 1: who had the party.
- 59:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:27Speaker 1: The defense is you obviously knew he was already dead.
- 59:29Speaker 1: You already knew where he was because why didn't you
- 59:34Speaker 1: run into the house and see if anybody else was
- 59:36Speaker 1: dead or let alone run in and go, I hate
- 59:39Speaker 1: to wake you guys up, but like fucking John, who
- 59:42Speaker 1: was hanging out with us last night, it's dead on
- 59:44Speaker 1: the front lawn. So, and she's just like, you know, well,
- 59:48Speaker 1: they were sleeping. And it reminded me of every time
- 59:50Speaker 1: you would tell me that, There could be two men
- 59:53Speaker 1: on your front lawn fighting, and your dad would be like,
- 59:56Speaker 1: shut the door.
- 59:57Speaker 2: Shut the door. Not our business. Shut the door. Yeah.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: My whole life has been shut the door.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: It's not our business. Shut the door. It's not our business.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: So basically, if you want to believe the prosecution and
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: that Karen Reid– In a fit of rage, being pissed
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: at him, thinking he was going to break up with
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: her and she was flirting with some other guy and
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: drunk at the same time. On purpose, not just drunk,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: but on purpose, backed up into him and left him
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: to die. Then went home and left him 44 messages saying,
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: fuck you, I hate you. You're a pervert. I hate you.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: Which the rumor is the reason she's calling him a pervert,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: which I thought was a weird word.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Is the rumor is... Among the town is these particular
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: groups of cops were swingers.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: Oh, man.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: And so maybe she had heard the rumor and thought
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: he was swinging with people in the house.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: So she's mad, like any woman that just is drunk
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: and thinks they're not getting the attention they deserve. Yeah.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: Left 44 messages.
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: So they want us to believe that that's what happened.
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: But she was also texting somebody, right? As well. I'm not,
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: I'm not all that.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: She was texting this ugly guy that had no neck
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: named Higgins.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: Oh, no neck Higgins.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: No neck Higgins. And she was, I think she, she
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: thought he was cheating with somebody or whatever. And she
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: just started to reach out. It was like the one
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: number she had, in my opinion, had her phone. And
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: she was just kind of fishing to just get a compliment,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: but I don't think she was really looking to like,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: fuck him. But I think he, thought something else was
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: going on, so maybe he got in a fight with them, whatever.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: We'll never really know. But he has all these scratch
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: marks on his arms that are indicative of a dog
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: who then conveniently got rehomed and nobody knows where the
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: dog is or what happened with the dog.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: So does he have injuries? I'm not that familiar with
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: the case. Ask me anything. So does he have injuries
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: that look like a car ran you over? Because I mean,
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: I feel like there's a specific type of injury.
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: So.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: The prosecution expert people would say, yes, I've seen a
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: face like that that's been hit by a car. The
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: defense is like, if he was hit by the car,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: why are there no broken bones on his chest and
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: his ribs and everything like that?
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: There isn't. The only injuries he had was the face
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: looked like it was beat up and, you know, hit
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: the back of his head.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: Right, right.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: And... And that was it. So all these people got
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: rid of their phones, deleted calls, deleted text messages, said
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: the calls were butt dials. So they deleted them, but
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: then once they were retrieved, they're like, why were you
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: calling your sister and this and that? And, oh, it
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: was a butt dial. Oh, we weren't really talking. It
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: was butt dials. They get rid of all that evidence
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: because they had a dad like Mr. Frangiolla who just said,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: You know, shut the door. It's not our business. And therefore,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: we're not going to be help. Everybody's ring cameras all
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: in the neighborhood or video security. All of that was
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: unfortunately not attainable.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Nobody could see the person across the street who also
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: was some cop. We would have been we would have
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: had his film. Yeah. We would have seen her do
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: a three point turn. She said, I did a three
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: point turn to turn around. Is that when I hit him?
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: So she probably did back cause her car is showing
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: that she, there was an acceleration, but that could just
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: be drunk and mad. It doesn't mean that she hit him.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: Then they also said, um, when we first found him there,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: we didn't find any of the red taillight cracked. Then
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: we took her car and then we came back from
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: after having the car in our possession, went back to
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: collect more evidence. And that's where we found 42 pieces
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: of the red taillight. So they're like, you put it
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: around like Easter eggs, you know, and just splacked it,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: you know, like, So all of it, you know, but
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: other people might say maybe they did this. Maybe they
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: just didn't want their phones being retrieved because they were swingers,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: because they did talk shit, because they were doing shady
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: shit in the department. Maybe that's why they got rid
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: of all their stuff. She still hit him. So pretty
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: much most people watching it believe there's an acquittal. But
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: we don't know. We're not the jury.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: So she's currently on trial for murder of her husband.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: Yes, not just like manslaughter, like murder. But they could
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: come back and say manslaughter, I think, or they could
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: just acquit it, make her free. Or they could say, no,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: she purposely did it and then left these angry messages,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: which is the opposite of what people do when they
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: kill someone. They leave nice messages on the phone. A
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: lot of people think if there's an insurance, this has
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: nothing to do with insurance, but most people, when it's
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: a domestic thing, It's what was the motivation? Why would
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: you kill your husband? Well, there was $ 3 million insurance.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Why would you kill your wife?
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: A hundred.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Um, so anyway, I was talking to Peter and I
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: guess there is no life insurance on me anymore.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: No, no. And then I thought, get it. Then you're dead.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: No. Now I think this is extra insurance for him.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: If something was to happen to me.
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: He could say suspicious.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I don't even, I'm not even going to make a
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: dollar off of her.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: I think if someone wants to kill someone, they've got
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: to want to kill them more than they want the
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: insurance money. They should let the insurance lapse. They should
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: let them know it lapsed. They should have a conversation of,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: you know, since you turned this age, it's so expensive.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: I just didn't renew it. Okay, then wait about a year.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: Then knock them off.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: That's a good idea.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Yeah. And that could be the prediction that we ask for.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: But this is one of those trials– It's up there
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: with the Johnny Depp stuff.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: There's stuff in there like the shitting on the bed.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: Remember shitting on the bed?
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: Of course. It was great.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: With Amber Turd. And all those kind of the weird,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: I mean, it really does kind of bring a nation
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: together in a fun way.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: When there is, yeah. Especially when, because I'm not that
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: familiar with it. But I do see things from time
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: to time and I'm like, oh, now I'll read about
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: this because I see salacious text messages and stuff. That's
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: the fun. And she's good looking so that that helps.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: You know what I mean? So, yeah, it's fun. It's
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: a fun one.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: And then I heard another content creator came up with
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: something that said that the guy, the nephew at the house, okay,
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: I mean the son of the people who own the house,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: who was like in his 20s, supposedly was seen on
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: John's ring camera saying, fuck you, like a week before.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: And they think that maybe they had beef or he
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: was selling drugs and John was going to catch him.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: I don't know. So I asked... this girl who came
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: on my show, it was a great podcast, Annie Elise,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: and I said, have you heard that? And she goes,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: I have not heard that. So also, people can just
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: put stuff out there. So this is a comedic interview
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: show with Chris Frangiola.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: We have not watched every episode of The Case. We
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: are not. But we are catching bits and pieces and
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: enjoying it. And yes, I don't think you, but the
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: pervert thing, the word pervert was weird to me. that
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: she kept saying pervert. Like, I could see her being like,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: you're a cheater, you're a player, you're whatever. But I
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: was like, and then she's like, I'm with your kids
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: because he raises the niece and nephews, and she's like,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: but you're a pervert. I'm like, well, she's not accusing
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: him of doing.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: Anything with a kid. Well, maybe it's because of that
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: story I was telling you earlier.
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: What?
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: That story I was saying that there's a new type of,
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: they believe, cheating in the world. It seems to be
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: an Australian article in the New York Post today, and
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: they're saying, 70% of people, women, believe that if their
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: husband is watching OnlyFans, that's cheating. So maybe it's something
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: like that, where he was watching OnlyFans girls, and he's
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: a pervert. You know what I mean?
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: Right, it could have been that, or it could have
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: been the swinger stuff.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: Yeah, which is even better. I don't, I have no,
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: I keep swinging, I hear swinging, and I have no
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: desire for it.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: Also, swinging in the dead of winter?
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, that's when it happens, right?
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: No, I think swinging is more of like a Floridian,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: like warm weather thing.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: Wasn't there a movie called The Ice Storm about swinging
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: where it took place during an ice storm? Really? Yes.
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: It's called The Ice Storm about swinging.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: We talked about Nicole Kidman earlier in the show. I
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: still have never watched Eyes Wide Shut, and I still
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: don't know what the plot was.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: What?
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: What is the plot of Eyes Wide Shut?
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: I don't know, but it's a great movie.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: You know what I love to do? I love to
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: go on Wikipedia and I just go, what is the plot?
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: And then I read the plot of every movie.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: That's a good one.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: Because I just want to know what the plot is.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: I don't want to watch it. I couldn't tell you
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: the plot. I mean, it's a great movie. I know
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: I've seen it several times and it's great.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: The plot is just weird. I mean, it's sort of
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: a swingers thing where they wear a mask and they're rich,
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: but then like, did someone die? Like, I don't even know.
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: I don't either. Yeah. I don't remember. But I know
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: the party scene is great.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: Right. Thank you, Chris.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: You're the best.
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Please follow Chris. Please check out Cover to Cover.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: Cover to Cover is my podcast. And come over to Instagram.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: Yeah. And come over to Instagram. I tag him all
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: the time. He does lots of little funny things on Instagram.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: And you don't also have to tell me. I like
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: Chris better than you do. I know.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: Why do they pit us against each other?
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: It's fine.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: There's no other podcast where people pit the guests against
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: each other.
- 1:09:45Speaker 5: Yes, they do.
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: Oh, they do?
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: People do.
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: They're just bored.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: They just want, you know, whatever.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: Whatever, I'm always the favorite.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: There's enough laughs and you might as well just enjoy
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: it all.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: I love there's a few who go, I just don't
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: get them. About you?
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: Me.
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: And I'm like, I kind of agree with you. I
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: don't get me. I don't get the appeal.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: Sometimes I put on an outfit and take a photo
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: and I go, Oh, this is just going to infuriate them.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: It's going to infuriate. Why is she smiling?
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: Yeah. Oh, my God. That's so great.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: Anyway, you guys, thank you.
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 1:10:19Speaker 5: know about the drawer.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: The drawer. Just the one square before bed. Or two,
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: you know. Nobody's watching. You deserve a treat.
- 1:10:35Speaker 5: With eight flavors to choose from, you can choose the
- 1:10:38Speaker 5: flavor you favor with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
