Go there, leave us an audio message using the button at the top of the webpage, and pick yourself up an apocalyptic apparel t shirt. It is Monday, September 7th, 2026. Good morning, everybody. I hope your morning's going well. Hope the coffee's hot and fresh. I hope they had that special donut you like at the donut shop. Whatever, whatever it is that makes your morning good, I hope it's happening for you. Hope it is. My morning is going to consist of doing absolutely nothing because it's also a Labor Day. So happy Labor Day to everybody that's out there. I hope you're enjoying your day off work and you got something cool planned. I was going to take out the boat today, but we're getting storms. ⁓ and boating in the rain does not sound like fucking fun. Yeah, so there's that. Hmm. But maybe I'll get into something cool anyway. We'll see how the day goes. Over the weekend, had a had a pretty good weekend. we hung out at the house pretty much All day yesterday I hung out at the house. Didn't leave. ⁓ put a new bumper on my truck. If you guys saw the TikTok, you saw that I put a new bumper on the truck. I did that yesterday. I never left the house. Saturday we went to a festival, which was good. Little hot, but good. We tried to attend a a another festival on Friday evening as well. That didn't work out so great. We didn't stick around very long. It was extremely hot and miserable. And there wasn't a lot happening at the event. So we were just like, fuck it. We're outta here. We're leaving. ⁓ but yesterday was good. Had a friend come over, hung out, had some drinks, things like that. Just a good overall way to wrap up the weekend. But, you know, now Labor Day's here and technically I could have taken a day off too and didn't even have to provide you guys with an episode today. But but that's what we're doing. ⁓ you know, new day, new episode, new week. It's Monday. You know, you're about to be back to the grind tomorrow. And I know how bad that sucks. In other news, I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my friend from Florida. He is on his on his way up very shortly, and we're gonna start kicking ass around here and get stuff done on the homestead. S ⁓ side note, yesterday I took a ride through the property, which was the first time taking a ride through the property since I've been back from vacation. And it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. There's some branches that need picked up from some fallen limbs off some trees that are across some roads. Nothing real bad. And it's all dead wood that can go right to the burn pile. So that's fantastic. There is a substantial amount of mowing to do, so I will have to get on top of that here very shortly. But for the most part, you know, relatively decent weekend. I hope yours was too. I hope that you guys took advantage of this long weekend. You know, planned a camping trip. That's what most people do on Labor Day, I think, is they plan like a little mini camping trip. We didn't do that. We stayed pretty much local to the area because, you know, we just got back. So why why do extra? That was kind of my thoughts on it. That's all. Producer Scooter, how the hell are you today? You look good. Yes, I I do like the suspenders. No, they don't match the shoes or the hat. Right. I've never seen anybody use suspenders to halt up a kilt before. It does look fantastic. It's very very good. Anyway. So if you're new to the show, make sure you like, share, and subscribe. I don't have a news topic for today, but we are going to get into something controversial revolving around a story that popped up in the news that my wife brought up to me, and we are going to talk about that. That is what we're gonna do. just that's it. I mean, I today is one of those days in my brain I feel like I'm out of content. I'm just I'm out of it. I'm I'm not I'm not back with it yet. I'm still getting back from vacation. I'm still trying to get back in the swing of things. So you guys are gonna have to bear with me for at least a week to get this show back to what it once was before I I left. Right. We didn't even put out an ETS Doomsday podcast today. And that should tell ya that should tell you that things just aren't quite right, man. Like I don't know. It's just been it's been a it's been a weird last couple weeks here. We're cleansing the house and cleaning things and well Last couple weeks that we've been back for about a week. Well, it'll be a week today. We've been back. but this since we've been home, we've been going nonstop, cleaning and and getting rid of stuff and painting and and just doing everything we can to try to refresh our existence in our home. So then we're gonna continue to work on that. We're gonna persevere and we're gonna push through and we're gonna do all the things that need to be done. Yeah, it's gonna be fantastic. It's gonna be really, really fantastic. I'm not trying to convince myself that's actually what's going to happen. is going to be fantastic. Anyway, producer scooter, if you wouldn't mind, please, sir, take us to a commercial. Hey, producer Scooter here. First off, thank you for downloading and participating in the wide world of Jesterdo. I'm your host, Jester Dooms, the email Doom Daily Show at gmail.com, everywhere on social media at Jester Dooms, the website, Jester'svoice.com. Go there, check it out. Okay, now, this may be a controversial topic for some. My wife and I are sitting at the dinner table and we just get done eating. She brings something up to me. She says, Have you heard about this thing the Trump administration is trying to do? And I said, What thing? And she said, well, basically, they're trying to write up like an like an order or something new that will allow married women with children to collect the child care money that they would have paid for daycare if they were working. So basically, childcare and and government resources are very privatized. Okay. It's it's kind of a fucking crapshoot when you really think about and you really break it down. So say that you are a private person. person on like care dot com, things like this, and you're a babysitter, right? Well, you know, you your average person can't get government funding to pay for that kind of care. But you know what they can pay for and everybody gets subsidies for, you know, are the daycares, right? Okay, that's that's the way it works. Like the daycares absorb all the government money and they roll right along and it's fine, right? So we thought. So we thought. So when you break this down and you think about it, the daycares are absorbing all of this federal aid that's set aside for childcare. Now, one would think, you know, initially first thoughts are, well, that's because it needs to be regulated. That's because it needs to be going to a system that's a that is paying taxes, this, that, the other, right? So my wife explains to me this new order that they're trying to write up will allow married women with children that are stay at home moms to get that funding, maybe up to seven hundred dollars per month. Now my first initial thought to this was, well, you shouldn't get paid to take care of your own fucking kids. Like that's bullshit. The government shouldn't pay you to stay at home and take care of your children. That's some shit, right? And then I started thinking about this a little more and thought about how people could scam the system. Okay. We have a big problem in this country with, you know, like the women that keep having babies for the tax write-off and the benefits and you know things like that. Basically, I'm talking about the welfare cleans queens, like and I'm and I'm not gonna sugarcoat this at all. You do have women out there that are scabs on the ass of society that keep reproducing in order to get the benefits from it. You do have those women, all right? And I've seen it to where These women just keep popping out kids and they get the benefits. And then the kids get put in the system. The kids end up in foster. And then they just keep spitting out more kids. And it's like, what this should be fucking illegal. Like if you're a woman that has nine kids, okay, and you know, half of them are in the system and you keep getting pregnant and having more kids, like you should have a fucking consequence. You shouldn't just be able to have your To keep reproducing after your children have been put in the system. That's some fucking bullshit. All right. But anyway, so my initial thought was, you know, when my wife is explaining this to me, and I haven't read through this myself. This I'm just based I'm going based off of what she's telling me. I'm like, well, okay, is it seven hundred dollars per child? Because if you have a mom out here that's like, fuck, I could just like have, you know, three kids and I could get twenty one hundred dollars a month and I could live off that, you know, and My husband could work a shitty job and we could have another kid and fuck, we can make that twenty eight hundred dollars a month and I could just keep rolling. Like, what are the limitations going to be? If you have 10 kids, are you gonna get seven grand a month? And I mean, in essence of that, like it's, you know, ⁓ you would I would assume that they would get this till the children are of age, they become adults at 18 years old. And at that point, that's like a career, you know. So are you gonna have a system that's built on bringing kids into this world so women could stay home and get paid and do nothing up until being able to, you know, get, you know, Social Security retirement. It's a very real thought. Now she mentioned that, you know, all these women have to be married. Okay, cool. You could be married. Your husband could have a shitty job excuse me, your husband could have a shitty job working at fucking Burger King, McDonald's or maybe just like door dashing or something. And then the government is now having another way to support this family. So let's say, hypothetical situation here. Let's say you're a low-income family. Your husband works. You do not. Okay. You're taking care of, say, four kids. All right. And he tries the work, but it doesn't go well. Like he gets a job at Burger King, gets fired. He gets a job at KFC, gets fired. Maybe he has like some weird side job he does where he does like. Carpentry work on the side with a contractor, and that's good sometimes, but not all the time. So, like let's just say you guys aren't doing well. And because of this, maybe you're getting food stamps and SNAP benefits for these kids. So you're you guys are basically getting all the free food you want. All right. Let's say maybe you're getting housing assistance. So there's that. You're not having to pay for housing and you are getting food. All right. Now let's say you're getting things like energy assistance to where your power bill is being covered and or maybe most of it's being covered, right? And then maybe you're getting a little bit of cash assistance on top of that because the income is that low. All right. So you guys are basically living, you're living not well, but you're surviving. All right. Now this program program goes through and this bitch has been sitting at home doing nothing but raising these kids for years or whatever, right? And has never went and got the government subsidies to get daycare and stuff because she doesn't want to work and she's okay with being a welfare queen and collecting off the system and doing everything else. Now you tell her, ⁓ basically ⁓ we're gonna throw extra $700 at you per month per kid, blah, blah, blah. Well, where is her motivation to ever do anything at that point? And you took somebody that was being taken care of very well and now you're doing this? Like, let's let's not forget, like, and this is like the big fucking thing here that I have the biggest problem with with this. The people who are utilizing the daycare subsidies are people that have fucking jobs and need it. We'll be back right after these messages. Need a break from reality? Well sometimes I do too. And the place I go to take that break is the Beans and Weenie Show. You can find the link at lingtree.com backslash BWD crew. The beans and weenie show where chaos and common sense wage war and you get a front row seat. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Doom Daily Show. I am your host, Jester Dooms, the email Doom Daily Show at gmail.com. Drop us a line. So, like I said before the break, the women who are utilizing the childcare and the families that are utilizing the government subsidies are doing so because they have work. They're furthering education in college. They're doing something so they need it. And it helps life progress. But now you're going to throw Federal funds at mothers who are staying home that otherwise wouldn't need this in the first place. I'm sorry, what? Fucking why? Did we print extra money and you don't know what to do with it? So you're just gonna give it to people who didn't need it in the fucking first place? The biggest thing, the biggest takeaway, ladies and gentlemen, that I want you to have from the show, from this segment of the show, is that the government AIDS in paying for daycare so people could be productive members of society or do something for themselves to better their future, whether it's school, classes, a new certification, something. There are stipulations to getting child care paid for. They just don't pass out fucking vouchers. You have to have a reason for needing it. So why the fuck should we give these women who are stay-at-home moms? money to sit at home with the kids. It doesn't make any fucking sense. It just doesn't. Now, what this is what I think, what I think, I think there's a better way to do this. Being a stay-at-mo-home mom comes with challenges. Okay, it really does. Being a stay-at-home, being being a homemaker, being a stay-at-home mom, stay-at-home wife, it is a job. Okay. It's a lot of work. It's a lot of responsibility, maintaining a home, raising children. This is not easy to do. And I'm not saying it is. And I'm not discrediting these mothers or the struggles that they go through. I'm not. Okay. But when these kids get to be school age, these kids are out of the house for 40 hours a week. All right. So now you're in a situation where mom isn't having to do much and the schools are feeding the kids in the middle of the day. Like there's not as much happening. And being a stay-at-home mom is a choice for most. Okay. It it's it's a choice most of the time. Like you choose to have kids. You choose to to have sex and get pregnant. You choose to not want to get a job. Like you choose to not seek out a daycare. Like, you know, these are choices. You choose to marry a guy that could support you staying at home. You know, there's a lot of choice in this matter. Very rarely does being a stay-at-home mom happen by happenstance, right? It's normally a choice. And if you say, well, dooms sometimes people get pregnant and that, you know, life got off course and blah, blah, blah. Okay, yeah, in in certain instances, maybe it does, but it's not a standard across the board where every mom that's a stay-at-home mom got stuck like it's a bad thing. Like, no. Some women want that. And that's a personal choice, and it's a beautiful choice for the woman, I think, to stay home and you know, raise the kids. I think that's a beautiful choice. I think it's very important to have a mom that could be a mom. and not be stressed out because of work or her career and can like be dedicated and focus on upbringing, you know, bringing her children up the right way. I think that's a beautiful thing. But don't act like it's cursed and that women should get money for this. I don't agree with this at all. Now I can get on board with certain things. Okay? Certain things. I think that as a stay at home mom and not being able to bring income into the household, basically a one income household That should come with other tax benefits. I think that maybe your property taxes should be reduced. I think that maybe your federal income tax should be reduced if you're a one-income household. I think that there should be other things available to you, like free public transportation, or maybe better interest rates if you're buying something big. If you're a stay-at-home mom and you need to buy, like, I don't know, I'm just trying to think of like a hypothetical here. You need to buy like a new AC unit for your home or you need to buy, you know, you you need to take your car into the shop for services or, you know, something broke in your house and the plumber has to come out. I think that the government should maybe pick some of those things up because it's a requirement for life. You need the vehicle to be operational to get the kids around where they need to go and to do the shopping for the house and to go drive down the road and, you know meet with your husband or or significant other for whatever may be going on or drive to the school to pick up the kids when they're sick. You need that. It's not, you know, it's it's a necessity. It's something you have to have. Okay. If something goes wrong in the house and you're there, like you need the house to be functional. That's your dwelling. That's where you live. Right. So could I see like the government maybe throwing a subsidy that way? Like here, here's, you know, X amount off your taxes for the home repairs you put in. Like make the fucking home repairs right ⁓ right off. If you're a stay-home mom, make the vehicle repair a write-off. Treat the stay-at-home mom stuff like a fucking business that has no income. And allow these families to write off daily things to help save them in the long run. But throwing them checks, I can't know. I can't get behind it. And I mean, to me, it's like so illogical. The whole reason this system was created. was to benefit families so that they could progress, so they could work and pay tax and contribute to society and and you know be a betterment to the future. This is just gonna it it is just going to pigeon having more kids and the idea that we have to contribute less. Like it sounds really good in in in like in the very beginning when you first hear it, it's you know, this is great. Stay-at-home moms are gonna get a piece of the pie too. The daycares have been absorbing too much money. It's like, yeah, you're right. It's cool. That sounds good, but there's a fucking reason for it. Like they just don't pass out subsidies to everybody. There's an approval process to get one. And you have to have a valid reason to get these things. Okay. Like your income, like you work full time, but your income won't support the daycare. So you need a subsidy. You're a full time student, you have a child, you need a subsidy, right? But then, like, there's all these cross-reference things in here, too, that nobody's really talking about yet, as far as I know. And here's a big one. So let's say Karen over here has three children from a previous marriage. Karen was married to an electrician with a take home of just say $100,000 a year for easy math. They she hits him up for child support and the child support check that she gets every month, say it's Fuck, say it's five hundred bucks per kid, it's fifteen hundred a month. So Karen's getting fifteen hundred a month. Karen gets remarried to a husband that's now and you know, a husband that's an attorney, and she's now getting, you know, her husband's money. Say he makes 250K a year. So they're getting his nice six-figure income, plus Karen's child support of fifteen hundred dollars a month for these three kids. And she's a stay-at-home mom collecting child support. And her husband's loaded because he's an attorney. Right now. What do you do in that circumstance? Do you throw her an extra $2,100 a month, $700 per kid, when they're doing just fucking fine as it is? Like, is that what you do? Because at first glance, based on what you're saying, that's what it would be. It doesn't make any sense. Like, why would you do that? Why does Karen need more money? They're doing fine. She's getting child support. She's got custody of the kids. She's married. So she qualifies because she's a stay-at-home mom. Is that logical to you? No, it's not, is it? So that's a situation that has been created that people are not thinking about. Because again, on the surface, it sounds fantastic. But there are other circumstances at play here. So let's say we're gonna move over to Kathy. Kathy's married. Kathy has children that are special needs. Okay. Kathy has children that are special needs. Okay. Say Kathy has one child that's special needs. Husband works. She's a stay-at-home mom to help out with the special needs child. Well, ⁓ Kathy over here is already getting a lot of things from the government, from insurance. Caregivers are coming in and out of the house, et cetera, et cetera. Basically their whole house is an insurance claim because they have a special needs child living in living within the home. So every need is met basically through, you know, Medicaid or or whatever. So now you're in this position to where she's magically going to get extra money, but there's caregivers coming in the home too, helping out. Right. And when I say special needs, I don't mean necessarily like a you know mental special needs. I'm I'm talking like, you know, could be like deformities, ⁓ you know, some type of dystrophy, something to where they need the extra help and they're getting it through the government, they're getting it through insurance, stuff like that. Now, this is a child that wouldn't be able to attend a normal daycare anyway. So even if Kathy over here was getting the fucking subsidies, she can't use them. So what do you do in that situation? Do you say, yeah, Kathy needs it because she can't send that kid to daycare? Or do you say, no, Kathy doesn't need it because she's already getting so much help? So now what you've created is you've created, so with all these circumstances combined that I talked about, what you created was you created a shit ton of red tape and a new approval system that we have to put in place. Because we can't willy-nilly pass out $700 a month to every child in America whose mom is married and stays at home. Because that would be crazy. But at first glance it sounds pretty fucking good, right? When you first hear it, it's like, whoa, yeah. Like that that makes sense. The daycare shouldn't be absorbing all the money. But when you scratch beneath the surface of it, do you see why the daycares are getting all the money? Cause it's regulated. Because that's the way it kind of needs to be. But that is just Doom's opinion. That is just my opinion. Anyway, I want to thank everybody for ⁓ tuning into the show today. I hope it was great. I hope I didn't blow up the speakers in your car. We'll be back tomorrow for another exciting episode of the Doom Daily Show. Producer Scooter, sir, if you would hit that button. Facts and opinions. This is the Doom Dale.
