- 0:04They fell in here, thanks for listening to the slippery slope.
- 0:07So, look last year I bought up not last year.
- 0:09It was my he bought up a story about smart Cities.
- 0:12A lot of people quite a few people weren't weren't agreeing
- 0:17with me. They couldn't see the point I
- 0:18was trying to make, they thought, well, you know, this
- 0:20part. See, these are good or what are
- 0:21you talking about? The city is miles away.
- 0:23It's not going to work here, but what they're trying to do was
- 0:26make each little section. Its own little smart City, smart
- 0:31cities are coming, they are not good there.
- 0:33Are going to be used by governments to restrict our
- 0:38movement, to restrict your movement.
- 0:40That is what it is all about. And now we are seeing this
- 0:43starting to play out in South. Australia will bring this
- 0:47article up for you to read, if you're watching this on YouTube,
- 0:53YouTube, which are constantly just They are really pushing
- 0:59back their really censoring big-time at the moment.
- 1:03But anyway, so if you're watching this on YouTube, just
- 1:06please like and share. So in this article is talking
- 1:10about, it's talking about stress, South Australian police
- 1:14are critical of protesters at Council meetings, diverting
- 1:17officers from fighting crime, okay?
- 1:19Well, what do you know? People don't want facial
- 1:23recognition cameras in the area. People are concerned about Big
- 1:26Brother. Watching them back, government's
- 1:28overreach. Okay, so with this mean, so last
- 1:31year, the Adelaide city council, voted unanimously.
- 1:34Not to include facial recognition, technology and new
- 1:37security cameras being installed across the CBD.
- 1:41The council had written to South Australian.
- 1:43Police asking if they could delay using facial recognition
- 1:47technology, if it was installed in City cameras until Safeguard
- 1:52measures were in place, but police indicated that they would
- 1:56would likely still use the technology.
- 2:00There you go. So another attorney general, Kim
- 2:03mayor told parliament in July that CCTV, Vision collected by
- 2:08one agency, could not be used for another purpose.
- 2:12Unless, unless the agency has reason to suspect that unlawful
- 2:18activity has been is being or maybe engaged in.
- 2:23That's very important with the wording of any of this kind of
- 2:26Legislation that comes through. You got to look at the way they
- 2:30word everything. So he's saying that, you know,
- 2:34one agency can collect all this information but it can't be used
- 2:37for another purpose. Makes you feel confident in it
- 2:40until you look at the the fine print.
- 2:42So unless that agency has reason to suspect so it's not even that
- 2:46they have to have a suspicion, they have to have a reason to
- 2:50suspect. That's all they need and it's
- 2:53just the reason to suspect unlawful activity has Has been
- 2:57is being or may just it may. It's very vague, it just may be
- 3:05engaged in. We have a reason.
- 3:08What's that reason? So they talked about hooning.
- 3:10Well, yeah, of course, we have reasons to just to suspect that
- 3:14there's been humans in this area because we can see, there's been
- 3:18burnouts on the street. Now, they can Overlook the fact
- 3:22that there's burnouts have been there for, well, over 12 months,
- 3:25and there has been no recent Aunt.
- 3:28Learning activity. But all I say is we've got a
- 3:31reason we can see the skid marks on the ground.
- 3:34So that's our reason that it may be engaged in.
- 3:38Therefore, we can access that CCTV.
- 3:41They can justify it as long as they can write it out in
- 3:44Justified on paper. They can so don't be deceived
- 3:48when they Place everything, the way they were doing so
- 3:52commission. Stevens on Wednesday said there
- 3:54was no facial recognition in use.
- 3:57In Council CC TV networks, that alert police if a person appears
- 4:02on CCTV on the street but they can put images through their
- 4:07system to check them against a database or faces.
- 4:11He agreed. This was a fundamental
- 4:14difference to being alerted to someone's presence, in an area.
- 4:17We have to upload an image and search the database.
- 4:20He said, local residents are Elven Warren.
- 4:24He's told to count the Salisbury council meeting.
- 4:26He had widespread Red concerns about the smart cities proposal.
- 4:31So I'll share here the next story about the same articles.
- 4:35The headline says, Big Brother battle, develops, a Salisbury
- 4:39and it's talking about the flyers that were sent out by
- 4:41this group. Yeah, regarding Alec antic.
- 4:46But what I really want to talk about is this Salisbury mere
- 4:49Jillian Aldridge. Okay.
- 4:51So this group has sent out, you know they've called for
- 4:56residents to come. And attend this kind of protest.
- 4:58So Salisbury mere Julian Aldridge.
- 5:00She believed tens of thousands of pamphlets objecting to the,
- 5:03the council's, smart cities initiative had been distributed
- 5:07some of which, with the stamp of the no, smart cities Action
- 5:11Group. The whole idea is what she says.
- 5:15This is the mayor, the whole idea of a big brother thing is
- 5:19really quite ridiculous. Okay, really quite ridiculous
- 5:24that you would have big brother watching over you.
- 5:27That Council will be watching you government would be watching
- 5:30it. That's what you says, that's
- 5:31what she tells the ABC radio. And then she goes on further on
- 5:36down here and says, Miss old rejected suggestions that the
- 5:40smart cities program involve listening devices, and facial
- 5:43recognition, recognition technology that they do in a way
- 5:47habit and they can be implemented later on, but right
- 5:51now maybe they do. Instead she goes on to say the
- 5:54community was on board with more CCTV.
- 5:58She says here now this is she is just said, the whole idea of big
- 6:03brother is quite ridiculous. That's what she just said.
- 6:06Now she says smart cities is all about using technology to
- 6:10improve the quality of the life of residents.
- 6:14This includes things like pedestrian.
- 6:16Monitoring an older person walks across the street and the lights
- 6:20change too quickly. We'd recognize that in the
- 6:23lights could be charged so that people could comfortably
- 6:27changed. So people could comfortably go
- 6:29across the road, how can you argue with that?
- 6:32We we all want people older people to cross the road safely
- 6:37but still this idea that big brother is watching you That's
- 6:43ridiculous. She says it's a program to
- 6:46increase your safety because where we heard in history that
- 6:50it's for your safety and it's for your benefit that we're
- 6:53implementing things. Has it been another time?
- 6:56It may be the previous Century where we've heard groups say
- 6:59that kind of thing it's for your benefit for your safety.
- 7:02That's why we implementing all those rules for your safety when
- 7:06people start saying, is for your safety.
- 7:09That I'm going to bring in these rules these laws.
- 7:12It's for your safety in your benefit.
- 7:14You better be looking around for someone else to come along and
- 7:17smack in the back of the head. With the log, say says it's a
- 7:20program to increase your safety and that includes the ability
- 7:24for us to know what your needs are.
- 7:27So they want the ability to know what your needs are.
- 7:31The same person that just said that the the idea of Big Brother
- 7:36watching you is ridiculous. That's ridiculous.
- 7:40What'd she say, the whole idea of a big brother thing is really
- 7:44quite ridiculous down here. It's a program to increase your
- 7:50safety. And that includes the ability
- 7:51for us to know. She's a part of the Big Brother.
- 7:55That's why she doesn't see a problem with it.
- 7:57It's a part of their ability to know what your needs are.
- 8:00And that's not invading. Your privacy with anything at
- 8:03all. Nothing at all.
- 8:05She says, it's not invading your privacy because she knows about
- 8:08it. She's a part of the system.
- 8:11Last week, the city of on come a ringer, council meeting
- 8:14descended into chaos when protesters allegedly tried to
- 8:17enter the chamber. Mrs. Aldrich said she was
- 8:22alarmed at the prospect of similar scenes in Adelaide's
- 8:25North. I'm concerned for the safety of
- 8:28my counsel in the staff. She said, So, there you go.
- 8:36They say that they don't want or they're not going to implement
- 8:39facial recognition, just yet. They're going to delay it.
- 8:43They say that. Well, we can we will have this
- 8:46technology but it can't be shared with anyone else.
- 8:49Well actually can be shared with other agencies but they need a
- 8:52reason. Well, yeah, they need a reason
- 8:54and they don't really need much of a reason.
- 8:58Not much of a reason at all. They just need to be able to
- 9:00justify an excuse. They just need the thought of a
- 9:04reason is what they need. And, you know, the idea of Big
- 9:08Brother watching you is absolutely ridiculous.
- 9:10Except big brother is going to watch you, but as for your
- 9:13benefit, and it really doesn't matter because we're big brother
- 9:16and we can be trusted. So it's all good, the police
- 9:20commissioner, the police, because police police have
- 9:23never, never never miss used technology, so what does it
- 9:26matter now? This is all coming from south
- 9:29Australia and I just want to remind you of what South
- 9:32Australia implemented last year last year or the year before
- 9:36during the epidemic. The pandemic that we had to have
- 9:40the plan plan demick that we had to have just so you know, Here
- 9:51we go. South Australia, facial
- 9:53recognition, trial, covid, app blasted by Fox and Breitbart
- 9:57criticized over lack of safeguards.
- 9:59Civil liberty groups, say an app, being trialled in South
- 10:04Australia, that uses facial recognition, and geolocation to
- 10:09enforce home quarantine during the covid-19.
- 10:11Pandemic should not be used until the proper safeguards are
- 10:17in place. So, South Australia's currently
- 10:20using a government develop app. Remember the mayor saying this
- 10:25idea of Big Brother watching, you is ridiculous.
- 10:27South Australia. Using a government developed app
- 10:31to enforce home quarantine compliance for a small cohort of
- 10:35returning Interstate Travelers, who opt into the trial uses a
- 10:39sent a message at random times and must respond within 15
- 10:43minutes, verifying their location, and identifying, and
- 10:47identity, using facial recognition, And geolocation if
- 10:52they fail to do. So, South Australian Health
- 10:55notifies police. Who then attend the person's
- 10:59home for a physical check, But yeah.
- 11:05We don't have to worry about it. If they have the smart cities,
- 11:07we don't need to worry about facial recognition cameras.
- 11:12We the idea of Big Brother watching, you is just a joke.
- 11:15It's nothing to be worried about.
- 11:17It's all for your safety. Nothing to be concerned of
- 11:22nothing to be concerned about when people start saying, when
- 11:27governments agencies, please start saying this is for your
- 11:32safety for your protection. We are bringing in these laws
- 11:36for your safety and your protection and you can trust us.
- 11:40We're taking away your Liberty with taking away your freedom
- 11:44But it's because we can be trusted and is for your benefit.
- 11:50You need to watch what's coming down the road as I've said
- 11:54before and I know a lot of people don't like me talking
- 11:56about bible stuff but the Bible predicted a long time ago.
- 12:01Revelation 13 also in Daniel but in Revelation 13 describes in
- 12:06graphic detail. It says that we will have a one
- 12:08world. Government says that we will
- 12:10have a one world, basically a currency in that, no one will be
- 12:14able to buy or sell, unless you have the mark of the beast.
- 12:19The only way you can, Have this kind of system in place that you
- 12:23can determine who in the whole world.
- 12:28Can buy or sell, unless you have some kind of Mark on you.
- 12:34Is if you have this kind of system in place, this kind of
- 12:37smart system in place where you are, monitoring everyone 24
- 12:43hours a day. That is why I am so against the
- 12:48smart cities that they're trying to force upon us.
- 12:53Don't be deceived into thinking that this is all just for your
- 12:57benefit. Just sit back and watch, just
- 13:00sit back and allow us to take control of your life.
- 13:04Just have an electric car. We can dictate when you can
- 13:07charge it and when you can drive, it's all good.
- 13:10Nothing to see here. We're big brother, but don't be
- 13:13concerned, don't be concerned. My opinion.
- 13:19This is something to be concerned about with everything
- 13:22else that is happening in Australia at the moment.
- 13:25These this, this, what's happening in South Australia,
- 13:28with these smart cities, this is the big story.
- 13:31That's my opinion. Thank you for listening to the
- 13:34slippery slope.
