- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Hey guys, welcome to Housewives Goss and Glitter.
- 0:02SPEAKER_01: Today, Ashley and I are gonna go over the real Housewives of Orange County season 20, episode seven.
- 0:09SPEAKER_01: And we are on day two of Las Vegas, and they are off to the Grand Canyon.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: And it is chilly.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: And as someone said, the Grand Canyon calls for denim.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: As denim and turquoise?
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: Are we just going Western themed?
- 0:29SPEAKER_01: I think so, but I think only a few people wore denim.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: Most people wore their spandex.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: I thought Tamra looked wicky cute though.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: In like her little red jacket and everything.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: I did too.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: I was like, oh, I really like that.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: They're on their way into the Grand Canyon.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: We start off like in the hotel room.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: Everyone is getting ready to go.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: And Shannon runs into the runs, scoots herself into the hotel room with a scooter for Vicky because Vicki can still not walk.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: And she was like, When in Vegas you walk, and my friend cannot walk.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: And she ends up running Vicky over with the scooter.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: Like it just What happened to Vicky's leg again?
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: I'm like lost on why she's limping always.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: She like tripped and it just hasn't like healed.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: And I think she says she needs like surgery on her knee, but she's not helping herself going on fucking zip lines.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: She's just an interesting character.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: She really is.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: She like runs Vicky over, and then if you remember from last episode, there was a whole thing with Shannonine switch rooms, and she was mad at Heather, and then she ends up switching rooms with I want to say Emily, but it's not Emily.
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: Who does she switch rooms with?
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: I didn't write that down.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: But she ends up switching rooms and she offers, I think it's I always want to say her name is Aaron, but it's not Aaron.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: But anyway, she wants to like she wants to switch bags, and she just got a Valentino bag, and she was like, My Valentino bag is perfect for the Grand Canyon.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, this is a hot mess.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: Like they start off with it running someone over from a scooter and now they're arguing about which purse makes the most sense in the Grand Canyon.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: And then it goes, it cuts to Carmilla, and her daughter is really sick, and she has the flu.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: And I love this part because she just calls and orders her daughter an IV.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: This is the life that we live where you can just like order your daughter who is homesick with the flu.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: They have like Yeah, they have like mobile IV like companies that you can invite to your house.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: It's crazy.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: Sorodars is sick, and they order that, and she feels really bad, but Danny is taking really good care of them, apparently.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: Is he?
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: Sounded kind of like unsure about that, but yeah.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: It seemed like she was trying to convince herself that he was more by saying it than he really was.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: It seemed like, yeah, she was trying to convince herself that he was like doing this big favor.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: And I was like, okay.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: I mean, what is he actually doing?
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: She's 14, she doesn't feel good.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: She's probably just kind of like laying around and hanging out.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: It's like he's not really doing that much.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: It's not that big of a favor.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: Also, like they live together, so right?
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: Like you that's just kind of expected, then you just don't do anything.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: I don't care about it.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: What is he I just don't like him.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: But yeah, so when Carmela.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: So they break up into two cars, and when Carmella is like talking to the girls in her car about how her daughter's sick and talking about her relationship and like her divorce and stuff, Vicky just like hates it.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: She's just sitting there and like complete silence, like listening to Carmela talk, like yeah, seething and scowling.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: And I'm just like, what is your problem?
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: She like hates her.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she's like, she even says that she doesn't like Carmella and she thinks Carmella has abandoned her kids.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: Although her kids are all teenagers and she's on vacation.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't get it.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, even if you think that she abandoned her kids at some other point, like you're clearly just referencing this time right now.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: It's a very strange.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: There's other girls that have kids, they're also on vacation, too.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but she just hasn't got out for Carmela because Carmela got a divorce.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: And she wants to say that Carmela abandoned her kids all the time.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: I just think it's interesting because on Ultimate Girls Trip, we see that scene where Vicky is like saying that like she's like trying to comfort Kyle, but she's also saying like Kyle should be upset about the divorce, and like it is a failure.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: And then like we also see that clip of like her bashing Gina when Gina first came on the show for being so like blase about divorce.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, Vicki, aren't you divorced?
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: And aren't you also divorced because you had an emotional affair?
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: But I think she's still so mad at herself that like she can't be okay with other people doing her same mistake.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: But like people get divorced for like thousands of different reasons.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: It's like not every situation is identical to whatever situation you went through.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm sure I'm not even, I mean, uh, having an emotional affair is bad.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: I'm sure that there were reasons for why she did what she did.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: There were probably issues in the marriage, but it's like you can't then carry your personal scenario to every single woman that talks to you that's going through a divorce.
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: No, no, it and I feel like she does that every time, though.
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: It's always like her situation is the cookie cutter version, and everyone else fits into that cookie cutter, and like that is the problem.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: She's just she's just really like really like neurotic.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: Uh and then in car number two, the girls in there are like asking Jen again about like what it is that she's gonna be doing for work with Carmela, and like Jen like doesn't really like help Carmela out at all.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: She's like, Yeah, I don't really know, I don't have any experience.
- 6:55SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, Yeah, wait, I don't like make it sound great, and I feel like Carmela is the only one to explain in.
- 7:02SPEAKER_01: She explains it later on in the episode, and then it makes sense.
- 7:06SPEAKER_01: But Jan's like, I don't really know, and it's like, you do know it was explained to you.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: You just aren't owning up to what she said because she probably doesn't want to get like shit on.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: Like, she's not exactly like standing up for Carmela at all.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: She's just like, Yeah, I don't really know what I'm doing.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, Why are you saying that?
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: And then Tamara in the back like makes a super bitchy comment.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: She's like, Well, what if she hires you and like asks you to pick up her dry cleaning?
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: $20,000 is like not that much a year.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, Yeah, obviously, like a$20,000 salary a year is like not a lot of fucking money.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: That's again a project.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: Like, this is not, but they don't listen.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: It's like that is not at all what the scenario is.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: She's not going, they're saying, like, are you excited to work for Carmela?
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: It's like Carmela's not hiring her on as like a staff member.
- 7:59SPEAKER_01: No, it's like offering shadow her on a project, and it's like they just project.
- 8:05SPEAKER_01: Don't understand it.
- 8:07SPEAKER_01: It's like their minds are absolutely blown on this.
- 8:11SPEAKER_00: I don't understand why they care.
- 8:12SPEAKER_01: No, wouldn't they be glad that their friend is going to be making money because she's clearly having issues like finding something?
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: I don't get it.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: I don't understand it either.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: It's so weird.
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: Like, and then Emily's like, I just feel like she's putting the cart before the horse.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, are you guys suggesting that Jen should go out and get all these licensures when she's not even sure like what it is that she wants to do, and she's literally just trying to like get an understanding of like development?
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: It's like so instead of working on one isolated project and like observing she's supposed to go out and get like a general contractor's license first.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: Like, what kind of advice is that?
- 9:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it doesn't make any sense.
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: It's so confusing.
- 9:08SPEAKER_01: I really wish that like they actually listen to Carmela and that Jen actually stood up for like what Carmela had offered her.
- 9:16SPEAKER_01: I'm but she's not gonna do that.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: So they just keep phrasing it like she's hired her on as an employee, and I'm like, that's not what she said at all, but okay.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, all right.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: Then they get they get to you the skywalk that like hangs over the Grand Canyon, and they're just like out on the skywalk.
- 9:36SPEAKER_01: I'm always wanting to do that.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: Me too.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: It looks so pretty.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: I definitely want to do that.
- 9:41SPEAKER_01: I feel like I would have a meltdown, but I would I would definitely want to do it 100%.
- 9:49SPEAKER_01: We'll go out on it every day, it's fine.
- 9:52SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 9:53SPEAKER_01: I feel like I would like freak out.
- 9:55SPEAKER_01: I'm not the best at like collies, so I can do like zip lines and stuff, but something like that might be a little hard for me, but I would like make sure that I do it.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 10:09SPEAKER_01: To have the experience.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: So they do that, and Emily is like, I don't know who put all these accent pro women on a skywalk and then handed them Prosecco, but like, let's just rap Vicki and bubble wrap, which is pretty funny, and I totally understand it.
- 10:27SPEAKER_01: But then after the Skywalk, the girls can divide into two groups, and they can either do zip lining or they can do something cultural.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: And Vicki and Shannon are like, we 100% want to do the zip line across the Grand Canyon, like this is gonna be amazing, and they totally just bail.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: I was like shocked that those two chose the zip line.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: I was like, aren't they falling like constantly?
- 10:59SPEAKER_01: Right, exactly.
- 11:00SPEAKER_01: I don't know if Vicky should do the zip line with her knee because she can like barely walk as it is.
- 11:06SPEAKER_01: She has a fucking scooter.
- 11:08SPEAKER_01: I don't think it's the scooter to the Grand Canyon anyway.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: I also can't really picture those two at the cultural thing either.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: The cultural thing was just I was just laughing because I just feel like the girls were kind of sitting there and they were like, Oh yeah, this is great.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, what is this?
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: I know, and it was like very odd, and the only person asking questions was Tamara, and she was like trying her best, but they were still kind of awkward.
- 11:39SPEAKER_00: It was just awkward, like it felt like they just showed up just for those three.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: Like it wasn't, it was just an event specifically because they were there, like it wasn't like they were going to something that is like taking place, and then they were like they just showed up and like did like a chant for them and like played instruments.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: And I was like, this is just awkward.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: I would rather just go to something that was already, I would rather just go to something that was like already like planned and prepared, and like I bought like a ticket too.
- 12:11SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't want like a private like performance of that because it's just it is it's weird.
- 12:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's awkward, and you do have to ask questions, but like props to Tamara for attempting, but I was like, I don't know if this was going anywhere.
- 12:27SPEAKER_01: And then they were like wandering around and they were like, we just need to find a saloon.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: Well, like that's what when she said cultural experience, I was like, are they just gonna go to like a western bar?
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: Like, what is out there?
- 12:44SPEAKER_01: I don't know, but apparently they found their cultural experience.
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so anyway, I would definitely have done the zipline.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: That sounds awesome, and I love ziplines.
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I agree, but it was just an interesting time.
- 13:00SPEAKER_01: It didn't take like it wasn't like it wasn't interesting.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: That's basically what it was for like half the episode, and then the Oh, I was just were you gonna get into the part where Vicky and Shannon meet up with the girls after the cultural experience?
- 13:19SPEAKER_01: Oh, you can do that part.
- 13:21SPEAKER_01: I was gonna skip it.
- 13:23SPEAKER_00: Okay, so like they go, so Vicki and Shannon back out of the zip lining, so they like go to meet the other girls who went to the cultural experience.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: The other girls are like sitting on these like rocks.
- 13:34SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, they're overlooking the Grand Canyon having these emotional conversations.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and Vicky and Shannon ride all the way over there still in their harnesses and their gear.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: They never took it off.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: They're like getting out of the car and they're like limping.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, what are you doing?
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: It was just so they're so ditzy, and like, why did you leave who why were they allowed to leave with all the gear still on?
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: I have no idea, but I determined that I like Shannon much more than I like Vicky.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: I do too.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: I just I do too.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: I think she's just very easily like manipulated though, because like she gets there and literally for like no fucking reason at all, Emily and Jen are both like want to make sure that she goes back to the hotel and like confronts Heather about the room again.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, why are you encouraging her to do this?
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: Like, she finally calmed down, she switched her room, everything is fine, and you're like, I really think you still need to talk to Heather about this room situation, and of course, it's like let's dig up some more drama, let's get this out of the way, yeah, go yell at Heather.
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: It's like they switch rooms, everything has been fine, and there's no EMF elevators.
- 14:54SPEAKER_00: But she's so easily manipulated because instead of just being like, Yeah, no, I'm over it, she's just like, this was really like a light bulb moment for me, and she like feels the need to like go back and like confront Heather again, and it's like it seems like she doesn't have the best self-esteem because then even later in the episode, they're like, You've never dated anyone good for you, like no one you've been with for forever has been like good for you, and it just I just it seems like she gets a lot of people to tell her what to do or how she should feel, and not what she really wants.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: She doesn't listen to like how she actually feels.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: Like, I mean, I just feel like in this situation, it's like maybe you were annoyed and you were like, How come you are taking the better run without asking anybody?
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: But like, if you don't say anything in the moment, and Heather's just unpacking her things, how what else exactly is she supposed to fucking apologize for?
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: It's like you walked in, she picked a room, like you were like, Oh, are you staying in here or whatever?
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: And she said, Yeah.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: And all of a sudden she's supposed to read your mind and know that you were like, Well, I'm actually super pissed because you never consulted anybody and just took the better room.
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: And then for two days, Heather's supposed to apologize because Shannon's like upset with her room.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: It's like, yeah, because a confident person just walks in and just picks the room that they want, and if nobody says anything to them, then they just keep it.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: Like, what's the problem?
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: Like, it's like, what is she supposed to what is she apologizing for?
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: It's like she didn't actually do anything.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: Like you were mad and you kept it to yourself and didn't say anything, and now you want her to you want to discuss it for two days.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: It's like discuss what?
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't know.
- 16:50SPEAKER_01: It's interesting.
- 16:51SPEAKER_01: I feel like you get to learn a lot about Shannon just from these like little interactions.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: I just I just there's certain things that it's just like if you don't address it in the moment, then there's you really don't have the right to keep bringing it up.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: Because like the person is not gonna know that you're mad.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: Like she doesn't know that you're mad that she went up to you and you asked you if you were staying in this room, and she said yes.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: It's like, okay.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's like where do you go from there?
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: Like you need to express your feelings, and also it's also like, well, why why what's the result of that anyway?
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: Like, if Heather got there first and she wanted to stay in that room, like even if Shannon was like, Well, I want to be in here, it's like, okay, well, then what makes it more your room?
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: But according to her, it's because Heather always takes the better rooms.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: Well, when she's but when she said, like, we should have had a discussion, it's like, what does that discussion entail?
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: Like, how are you gonna like suss that out?
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: Like, who deserves it more?
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: Like, it's like she just got there first, like, just get over it.
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: It's a suite in the palace and you have a real.
- 18:08SPEAKER_01: Does it really matter?
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: You're in Vegas, the amount of time you're gonna be spending in your realm is like slim to none.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, it's just so stupid.
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I just don't know what you want her to keep apologizing for.
- 18:19SPEAKER_00: And then the other girls are like encouraging her to continue this conversation, and I'm like, what is she supposed to say?
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: And Jen are just like posters.
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: They are, you just want everything to be like so it gets off of them.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and they like brought it up out of nowhere to like I really think you should address this, and it's like, why?
- 18:40SPEAKER_00: There's no reason, it doesn't matter at all.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: No, no, and Jen was just mad because she had to switch rooms for some reason.
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: I think Jen just like has it out for Heather and has from the beginning, and now she's like off.
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: Maybe she's like off this Tamra thing, and now she's like we're trying to cause problems with Heather and Shannon.
- 19:02SPEAKER_01: Probably be like, oh well now I'm like past this, so let's move on to these older ones, like the older OGs.
- 19:09SPEAKER_01: That's like oh, let's work on that.
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so a nightmare.
- 19:15SPEAKER_01: I know, but then from there we go into them in the casino, and Vicky is on her scooter, and they're all playing Blackjack, and then it gets kind of drama-filled at Black Jack because of Vicky.
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: So like no, um, it wasn't though, because of Vicki.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: They've like sat Carmella down and wanted to like confront her as a group about this like what situation, and they did that before Vicky even got there.
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: Well, they confronted her about the gen thing, and so they brought that up, but then I felt like Vicky scooted over and just was like, Oh, let me tell you all the reasons why I hate you.
- 20:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, basically, like I felt like they asked her a bunch of questions and they're like, Why is it like, but like Carmelo said, why is it friendship versus business and all of these things?
- 20:15SPEAKER_01: And she was like, I just want to build everyone up, and so I get where like all their questions were coming from because they've been so skeptical and then they finally had a chance.
- 20:24SPEAKER_01: Do I think they should have been doing it while drinking and playing blackjack?
- 20:28SPEAKER_01: No, not really.
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: I just feel like they've already asked her this, they've already asked her these questions, they've all already talked about this, and like also they bring it up, and again, Jen doesn't like Jen doesn't like step in and say anything.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: She's just listening to them like confront Carmela over doing her a favor.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: It's like how rude.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: The only person that stuck up for her was Shannon, which I was like, okay, I do this is why like I do like Shannon because I feel like she doesn't hop on the bandwagon, but like you said, I do think she's just like not in touch with her own emotions at all.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: She's just like very like easily riled up.
- 21:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:11SPEAKER_01: Then Vicky scoots over though and starts on the third degree on Carmela, and about her kids and who was taking care of them and the whole divorce thing.
- 21:20SPEAKER_00: And where she lives.
- 21:22SPEAKER_00: She's like, Do you live in Orange County or not?
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: Do you live in Orange County or not?
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, okay, first of all, this wasn't what they were talking about at all.
- 21:29SPEAKER_00: And second of all, like, so rude, like, really at all.
- 21:34SPEAKER_01: She wanted to know where Carmala lived, where her kids lived, if she actually lived with her kids, even though it seems like they split custody.
- 21:41SPEAKER_01: So, like, her kids are with their dad, their kids are with her, they have like school and everything, and she lives between two different apartments.
- 21:50SPEAKER_01: And Vicky just absolutely like ripped her a new one for this.
- 21:56SPEAKER_01: It was bad.
- 21:57SPEAKER_01: I felt like it was so inappropriate.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: It was so out of line.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: And then they were and then everybody was like, no, no, Vicky.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: You can't talk about this.
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: You can't bring up kids.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: This is over the line, Vicky.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: And then she faced off on her scooter and went back up to bed.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: Like she like took that scene as fast as it could go.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: She was like, I'm so offended.
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: I'm driving away.
- 22:19SPEAKER_01: And some of the girls.
- 22:23SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 22:24SPEAKER_01: And then basically that kind of ended the scene.
- 22:27SPEAKER_01: And some of the girls went clubbing.
- 22:29SPEAKER_01: And then like Gina and Jen went to go check on her.
- 22:34SPEAKER_01: And Vic and they're like, Vicky just won't get to know her at all.
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: And like, but they came up with an excuse for her.
- 22:43SPEAKER_01: And we're like, she she just wants her to be a good role model for her kids.
- 22:48SPEAKER_01: Like that is none of Vicky's business.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: She's also not a good role model.
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: Like, there's nothing that we've seen so far that makes it seem like she's an absent parent.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: Like, this is literally just Vicky judging her because she's divorced.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: I mean, she's acting like you're abandoning.
- 23:11SPEAKER_01: She's not sure if she's divorced and that she was a Playboy bunny.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: She's divorced and like abandoning your kids versus sharing custody with the other parent.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: Like, those are two different things.
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: I'm confused.
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: And then, like, yeah, she like really wants to know like whether she actually lives in Orange County or not.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: It's like there's other nice places to live in California, first of all.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: Orange County is not like the pinnacle.
- 23:38SPEAKER_00: Um I don't know why you're being so judgmental about that.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: Like Carmilla lives in like a big ass house.
- 23:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, a$35,000 a month rent house.
- 23:47SPEAKER_01: It's like that I think appears in the next episode.
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's not exactly like living in squalor.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: I'm like, where is it that you think that she lives that's so like low class?
- 23:57SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 23:58SPEAKER_00: It's very strange.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: Like it seems like she might be in in an even nicer part of town.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: So I'm like confused by that.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: Like Vicky's not, I mean, I know that they're all like wealthy to a certain degree, but Vicky's she's saying that like she's like uber wealthy, and I'm like, she's not.
- 24:17SPEAKER_00: I mean, you would like her like living in living it up in Mexico because it's like cheap as hell there.
- 24:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 24:24SPEAKER_01: So maybe she's Mexico rich, but she's not like California rich.
- 24:28unknown: No.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: But it's just she's so judgmental over things that like she personally does herself, which is so weird.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: It is very strange.
- 24:45SPEAKER_01: Of like I don't I the first couple episodes I was like, yeah, I like her, and then I'm like, no, she just keeps dropping and dropping and dropping.
- 24:53SPEAKER_00: Me too.
- 24:54SPEAKER_00: She's I just think it's weird how she like randomly loses it.
- 24:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right?
- 25:00SPEAKER_01: She just like flips out, and I feel like even in Ultimate Girls Trip, she's always so uncomfortable, and she's like, Oh, I just have to leave.
- 25:07SPEAKER_01: And she does the same thing on OC.
- 25:10SPEAKER_01: And she's like, Oh, I have to leave.
- 25:11SPEAKER_01: Oh, I have to leave.
- 25:12SPEAKER_01: I'm uncomfortable.
- 25:13SPEAKER_01: I don't like this.
- 25:14SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, Do you like anything?
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: I just yeah, I may I just think that like maybe she used to do well on the show, and now she's probably just not like the right setting for her.
- 25:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I agree.
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: You know, like it's a different show, it's just it's a lot, it's probably just too overwhelming.
- 25:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she's just go live it up in Mexico and whoop it up at that random bar.
- 25:44SPEAKER_01: I mean, yeah, call it a day.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, why not?
- 25:46SPEAKER_00: And then, like, yeah, when Jen and Gina go the next morning to like talk to Kermel and see if she's okay.
- 25:53SPEAKER_00: Gina says that like when she first came into the group, she was like getting divorced, and Vicky was like all up her ass about it too, and was saying she just didn't like the way that she would talk about it.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: And that she just like I don't know.
- 26:10SPEAKER_00: And I'm just like coming from a divorced woman, it's just so weird.
- 26:15SPEAKER_01: She has like such a stigma about it, and she like makes it no e in this season and on Ultimate Girls Trip, she doesn't like divorce, even though she got a divorce, and it's like Vicky.
- 26:27SPEAKER_01: You have to give other people grace because clearly you got one too.
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: You got a divorce, you had an emotional affair on your ex-husband, and then the guy that you left him for was like a con artist.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, to like a major degree.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: And you're like talking about Carmela like she's like a con artist, and it's like because she got a purse, and I she bought a nice purse, and she's like a developer/slash real estate agent, and you don't think that she's actually as professionally impressive as she's saying, like, how is that the same thing as a guy that literally like lied to the entire country and said he was dying of cancer?
- 27:11SPEAKER_00: So it's like a person that like you were with and like defended.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: I know it's so weird, it's so weird.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: It's so weird, it's really judgmental for somebody that has that background.
- 27:26SPEAKER_00: It's just really judgmental.
- 27:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:30SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 27:31SPEAKER_00: Then the next day, like after they rehash what happened the night before, of course, they go back out and they have their scavenger hunts.
- 27:40SPEAKER_01: Which I think, and I think it was Gina, but I can't remember maybe it was Tamara, but she was saying that they think Heather made the scavenger hunt just for the TikToks because they all had to do like these like slightly crazy things.
- 27:57unknown: Yeah.
- 27:58SPEAKER_01: Like make pe make a person laugh, have a dance party, do this, blah blah blah.
- 28:03SPEAKER_01: And then they had to race down the zip line.
- 28:07SPEAKER_01: And whoever made down the zipline first made it so that their team was the winner, and Shannon and Vicky were the ones racing down the zipline, and Vicky won down the zip line somehow with her busted knee, and then she rides down Fremont Street in her little scooter and almost runs a few people over.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: The fact that she was able to climb, because I've been on the one on Fremont Street, and that's like a lot of stairs.
- 28:36SPEAKER_00: Like she didn't take the elevator up, and I'm like, this is a little bit more.
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: She was also riding the scooter like so fast, she was like riding it like a racehorse.
- 28:53SPEAKER_00: I was like, oh my god.
- 28:55SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 28:55SPEAKER_01: I was like, you're gonna run someone over.
- 28:57SPEAKER_01: You blame Shannon in the hotel room, but like you're gonna run someone over on Fremont Street.
- 29:03SPEAKER_00: I've also never seen that Catzilla thing before in Vegas.
- 29:08SPEAKER_01: Well, I actually saw it the last time I was in Vegas, it's funny because I saw it on like a Vegas ad, and then Slater and I were like having dinner at a restaurant on the strip that overlooked the strip, and we saw a Cartzilla like going down, and I was like, that actually looks like a freaking blast.
- 29:27SPEAKER_01: It does look really cool.
- 29:28SPEAKER_00: I want to go on it.
- 29:29SPEAKER_01: I was like, I've never seen this.
- 29:31SPEAKER_01: I was like, that is hilarious.
- 29:33SPEAKER_01: That there's just like a giant shopping cart that like drives down from I mean, drives down the strip.
- 29:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like that was nuts.
- 29:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but then after that, we like cut to dinner, and I have to say, I love Tamara's dress, and the train on the dress was fabulous.
- 29:51SPEAKER_00: Me too.
- 29:52SPEAKER_00: I love how she's always wearing like red and maroon.
- 29:55SPEAKER_01: I know it looks so good on her.
- 29:57SPEAKER_01: She is like one of the best dressed housewives.
- 29:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, definitely.
- 30:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, then it goes into the scene, and Vicky actually apologizes to Carmilla, but she starts off like giving Carmela a small like side hug, and then she was like, I want to apologize.
- 30:16SPEAKER_01: Like, I thought about it, and like I do feel bad.
- 30:21SPEAKER_01: And all the ladies are like, Does she feel pressured?
- 30:24SPEAKER_01: Do we need to go rescue Carmella?
- 30:26SPEAKER_01: Like, what is going on?
- 30:28SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, Oh, that's so awkward.
- 30:31SPEAKER_01: She didn't mean her apology.
- 30:33SPEAKER_00: She didn't mean her apology.
- 30:35SPEAKER_00: Like in her in her confessional, she said that she just did it to get everybody off her back.
- 30:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 30:42SPEAKER_01: And it's like kind of a bummer.
- 30:44SPEAKER_01: And Carmella even calls her out, like, calls out in her confessional about it.
- 30:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was not genuine.
- 30:50SPEAKER_00: This like fighting with them is definitely not over.
- 30:54SPEAKER_01: No, it'll be interesting to see how it goes, but it's like kind of depressing that like you have this like sweet moment with Vicky and Carmela, and you just know that's like all fake, so the other ladies aren't mad.
- 31:09SPEAKER_00: I think they're just I think just a lot of them are the only ones that I like right now are Shannon and Carmella.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: Like, I wouldn't hang out with any of the other ones.
- 31:24SPEAKER_00: I think that they're all so fake.
- 31:27SPEAKER_00: Like, I think of all the Housewives shows that I've watched, I think that these ones are like the absolute most superficial ones I've ever seen.
- 31:35SPEAKER_00: Like, I can't, I they're just their personalities are like girls that you would not want to be friends with in like middle school.
- 31:45SPEAKER_00: Like they're mean to each other.
- 31:47SPEAKER_00: I just want each other constantly.
- 31:49SPEAKER_00: It's so bad.
- 31:51SPEAKER_01: I think I would hang out with like Heather.
- 31:53SPEAKER_01: I mean, yeah, I think but I it would be them.
- 31:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:58SPEAKER_00: Heather is like, I usually agree with her side of things, but she's also very like polished and superficial, too.
- 32:08SPEAKER_01: She is, but I'm trying to think if her polished act is an act or if it's been there the whole time, just from like who she is.
- 32:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 32:17SPEAKER_01: If that makes any sense.
- 32:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 32:20SPEAKER_01: But yeah, If I could think of any of the housewives, it would definitely be the Rory ladies.
- 32:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 32:27SPEAKER_00: I mean, they're just way more like relatable.
- 32:30SPEAKER_00: Like, I just feel like these girls are all like frenemies, they're not they're just I don't know.
- 32:37SPEAKER_00: Their relationships are just like not the type of friendship that I would want at all.
- 32:41SPEAKER_01: You and I have discussed before.
- 32:44SPEAKER_01: It's like because they're not at they weren't actually friends before it was like filmed.
- 32:51SPEAKER_01: Like in some of the other franchises, they were, so it makes a difference.
- 32:57SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 32:58SPEAKER_01: Like if you know the person.
- 33:02SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 33:03SPEAKER_01: So they're just kind of like a bunch, and this is like a bunch of people who knew each other, a bunch of people who didn't know each other, and then some newbies, and then everyone is thrown in together, and it just kind of makes for like this extra crazy ness going on.
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah.
- 33:21SPEAKER_00: So but they do sort of end with like all of these like sex conversations, which are interesting.
- 33:31SPEAKER_01: Like how Vicky says, if you don't take your care of your man, someone else will.
- 33:36SPEAKER_00: And uh another direct shot at Carmilla, right?
- 33:40SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 33:41SPEAKER_01: And it's like, I'm pretty sure that wasn't the issue.
- 33:44SPEAKER_01: I think Danny is just a jackass.
- 33:47SPEAKER_01: And then how Tamara was like, I'm not taking estrogen, but I did buy all the lingerie, but I'm also getting old.
- 33:54SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, oh dear lord.
- 33:57SPEAKER_00: And like her husband's still like attractive, so that's kind of a problem.
- 34:02SPEAKER_01: But they also talked about when her daughter moved out that they were gonna have like having crazy sex, so like which one is it?
- 34:09SPEAKER_00: I don't know, and then yeah, and we got a whole lesson of how Vicky constantly initiates things and Mike goes along with it.
- 34:19SPEAKER_00: I was like, I should have gone without that, but then this is what I'm talking about as far as the friendships, and then like like I wanna like Tamara, but she's not actually your friend, because then she like looks at Shannon and she's like, Shannon, how have you been pleasuring yourself lately?
- 34:36SPEAKER_00: You haven't had sex in a couple of years, right?
- 34:39SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, why would you say it like that?
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: Like that you don't say that to your friend in front of a group of people.
- 34:48SPEAKER_00: It's embarrassing.
- 34:49SPEAKER_00: Like, why are you saying it like that?
- 34:51SPEAKER_00: Like, I thought it led into a nice conversation, and I thought that like Heather was really nice to her, and they did encourage her, but it's like those types of comments are just they're like backhanded compliments.
- 35:03SPEAKER_00: Like, do you know?
- 35:04SPEAKER_00: Like, it's like just those types of friends in like middle school and high school that are like they're friends, but they're also kind of mean to you.
- 35:11SPEAKER_00: Like, that's what it is, and it's just like you should not still be acting like this, like that is so rude, and it's like yeah, it's like you're trying to embarrass her.
- 35:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's like she has some redeeming moments, and then she says something like that, and you're like, eh, I'm just kind of over you, like I would just never get close to somebody like that.
- 35:33SPEAKER_01: Like, no, especially because her and Shannon are still trying to put their relationship back together.
- 35:38SPEAKER_00: Well, if you're close enough with somebody where they've shared with you that they haven't had sex in two years, then maybe that's not something that you should announce at the table.
- 35:47SPEAKER_00: True.
- 35:49SPEAKER_00: Like, that's not something that you tell like everybody.
- 35:52SPEAKER_00: I mean, maybe it is, but obviously not everybody she didn't know.
- 35:55SPEAKER_01: No, I think like Emily, Jen, you know, like Carmilla, they probably didn't need to help.
- 36:03SPEAKER_00: It's just not nice.
- 36:05SPEAKER_00: She could have just, she literally could have just been like, Have you thought about dating?
- 36:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 36:12SPEAKER_01: It led into dating, but if she had just started there, it would have made a lot more sense.
- 36:16SPEAKER_00: So they've started there, yeah.
- 36:18SPEAKER_00: It's like that was so not a nice way.
- 36:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 36:21SPEAKER_00: That I just, they're all just if Vicky's like that too.
- 36:25SPEAKER_00: Like she's your friend, but then she also like delivers these like rude, backhanded compliments.
- 36:31SPEAKER_01: I have to say that after the episode that Emily called her Debbie Downer, she really is a Debbie Downer.
- 36:37SPEAKER_01: And then after watching Ultimate Girls Trip, she's even more of a Debbie Downer.
- 36:42SPEAKER_00: It's awful.
- 36:43SPEAKER_00: Like when we watched episode one, I was like really excited to get to know her because I was like, oh, this is so funny.
- 36:49SPEAKER_00: I like love OGs, like she's like gonna be really out there and stuff.
- 36:54SPEAKER_00: And I'm just like, she's just getting worse and worse as the time goes on.
- 36:58SPEAKER_01: I have to tell you, when I sit down and watch Ultimate Girls Trip, I did not think that my favorites coming out would be like Portia and Teresa.
- 37:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like and Teresa and Lisa's friendship would be like my ultimate favorite part of Girls Trip.
- 37:19SPEAKER_01: Like, I didn't think that at all.
- 37:21SPEAKER_01: And I thought that Vicky would be fun, but Vicky is just as bad on Ultimate Girls Trip as she is on this season.
- 37:28SPEAKER_01: Because she has these like crazy outbursts, like she's Yeah, and then she straight up told she's like taking a work call in the car and like tells Lisa Barlow to be quiet, or like even with the other girls, she's like, Oh, I'm on a work call, like you have to be quiet.
- 37:44SPEAKER_01: Just don't take a work call around the other ladies.
- 37:48SPEAKER_00: It's also like you're filming a show and that is your work right now, right?
- 37:53SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 37:53SPEAKER_00: I just think she just isn't like into it.
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: I think she's just like probably isn't gonna be on TV anymore after this.
- 38:00SPEAKER_00: It's my guess.
- 38:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't think I see her on 21.
- 38:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, no.
- 38:05SPEAKER_01: So but that is season seven episode seven, season twenty of Orange County.
- 38:14SPEAKER_01: And maybe next episode will be more exciting, but we doubt it.
- 38:18SPEAKER_01: So we will see you guys later.
- 38:20SPEAKER_01: Thank you for listening.
- 38:22SPEAKER_01: Bye.
