- 0:21I have a vision and I need your assistance, darling.
- 0:28I see a future of perfection, sinners and shining.
- 0:34I'm inviting you to text how it could because I know it's been
- 0:39so long and together we can face the enemy.
- 0:44Then you'll see what's all wrong.
- 0:50I'll show you where to begin. Play all your riches and sins at
- 0:55the moment of the godly cross. Hello, ladies and gentlemen.
- 1:03My name is Brett Keenan. You're watching and listening to
- 1:06the Brett Keen show. I hope you're all having a
- 1:09blessed day out there. Last night I did a live show and
- 1:14I had a guy called Captain Stump.
- 1:16That's what I call him. It's actually Stump of a Tree
- 1:19and my friend John Geschella and then a few others, and we had a
- 1:23pretty interesting discussion about various topics, mostly
- 1:26spiritual. Everyone is always welcome to
- 1:31join, and I also put my shows up on a the international radio
- 1:37station that you can find in the links in my description.
- 1:40Soon I'll be scheduling another live show, probably for Friday
- 1:45or Saturday. I may end up going back to 7:00
- 1:50PM because I was actually getting pretty tired doing it so
- 1:54late. But it was good.
- 1:57I really, really enjoy having people and I especially not just
- 2:02other religious people but non believers are more welcome to
- 2:05come in and they can question me and we can have discussions,
- 2:09debates or whatever. Shoot the shit.
- 2:11Unfortunately Mr. Stump and Mr. Geschilla got to experience what
- 2:16it's like for me to be trolled by some atheists.
- 2:19There was a couple of you that came in and decided to scream
- 2:22the N word racist words at me. I was able to kick these people
- 2:27out, obviously, but not before they spewed out their racist
- 2:31hatred out there. And that's always surprised me
- 2:35because a lot of atheists claim to be liberals and about
- 2:38diversity. They claim to be championing
- 2:41this whole, you know, everybody's equal and we should
- 2:45have empathy and sympathy for each other like a humanist
- 2:48would. But they're the first ones to.
- 2:52Call you homophobic names. They're the first ones to use
- 2:55racial slurs in order to, and they think it's funny.
- 3:00They actually think it's cute to do that, which doesn't make
- 3:03sense to me. If you really believe in what
- 3:06you believe and you really care about people, then you wouldn't
- 3:10do that even if it was someone that you hated, because you
- 3:15basically give yourself away by doing that.
- 3:20But besides all that, a majority of the conversation went well, a
- 3:24lot better than usual with a lot of this trolling nonsense that's
- 3:28going on. So today I'm going to talk about
- 3:33something very controversial and hopefully it doesn't like get me
- 3:39banned from YouTube for saying this because.
- 3:42YouTube is very political and they don't like it whenever you
- 3:46don't agree with their views or their ideas or whatever.
- 3:49Politics is pushing the mainstream media and all that
- 3:53that day. But I've been taught since a
- 3:57young age that America is the greatest country in the world
- 4:02that is the most powerful and some people get very patriotic
- 4:06about that. But since.
- 4:10The last 1520 years, things have majorly changed, such as back in
- 4:17the day, whenever you were having war or some kind of
- 4:20problem with another country, you never really got to hear the
- 4:23other perspective or why it was that another country was doing
- 4:27what it was doing. And of course our politicians
- 4:31and our government would tell us that Anything that we're
- 4:33involved in, it's because we're the good guys, we're trying to
- 4:36do the right thing and. You hear very little about what
- 4:41the other side is, but technology has changed that.
- 4:45Now any bad guy, any politician from any other country, even
- 4:50terrorists, are capable of recording themselves and release
- 4:55it to the press or to some kind of organization that they
- 4:59believe will play them. And you'll get to hear their
- 5:02side of the story. You'll get to hear their
- 5:04perspective and. I got to be honest with you,
- 5:09I've been blown away by some of the things I've heard other
- 5:13leaders from other countries say that is really, really broken
- 5:19and shattered. That whole bad guy, good guy
- 5:23routine that I used to believe in my head whenever I was
- 5:26younger. I mean, even whenever I was
- 5:28going to school, we were taught that America is great and
- 5:32America is about taking people in and.
- 5:36And we help other countries out whenever they're in a mess or
- 5:41whatever. And if there's a war, we'll get
- 5:43our ass right up in there and and try to solve problems and
- 5:47all that. But I've learned as I've gotten
- 5:49older that we've actually caused a lot of problems and we've
- 5:52actually pissed a lot of people off.
- 5:55And I was recently watching Putin.
- 5:58I I don't know if many of you know this.
- 6:01I don't usually talk very much about it.
- 6:03But I do have this. Kind of hobby or this interest
- 6:08where I like to see what the other side is thinking.
- 6:11I don't always, I'm not one of these type of people where I
- 6:14always like to hear the the usual watered down, you know,
- 6:18Russia's bad or this is bad or blah, blah, blah.
- 6:21I like to hear what other countries are doing and why they
- 6:24think the way they do. And I think that's smart,
- 6:28because if you're going to imagine that someone is your
- 6:31enemy or that they're the bad guy.
- 6:34You would think that if you want to win against them or always
- 6:37have the upper hand, you should know as much about your enemy
- 6:40just as much as you know about your friends.
- 6:43Do you understand what I'm saying?
- 6:45The more knowledge, the more power.
- 6:48But unfortunately it's had a kind of a catastrophic effect on
- 6:52me by listening to guys like Putin, because Putin's an
- 6:56extremely intelligent man. He's not this.
- 7:01Villain this like cookie cutter villain that they paint him out
- 7:05to be in the news. When you're listening to him, he
- 7:08actually asked a lot of questions that get me scratching
- 7:11my head and says a lot of things that really pull on my strings.
- 7:18Maybe he's a master manipulator. Maybe he's sincerely honest and
- 7:23all that. And I've been watching and
- 7:25listening to this guy for the last couple of years.
- 7:28Some things I've discovered about his background.
- 7:31He's very spiritual, he's very religious.
- 7:34He does believe in God. His religion is more, although I
- 7:39agree with him on a lot of stuff having to do with spirituality
- 7:42and religion. He calls himself Orthodox, and I
- 7:45suppose in many ways I could be considered Orthodox.
- 7:50You know, if you really, really get down to the nuts and bolts
- 7:53about the conversation. In his latest conversation that
- 7:58he had, he spoke in front of an audience in this video.
- 8:03You can find it on Global News. I'll provide you guys a link,
- 8:07But he asked a very simple question that I'm surprised I
- 8:10never asked myself about in all the 46 years of living on this
- 8:14planet, he said. Who does America think they are?
- 8:21Why does America think that they can come along and and warn me
- 8:26or anybody else on how we run our country?
- 8:31Who does America think that they are?
- 8:35He's basically in a nutshell. Imagine yourself living in a
- 8:40neighborhood. You got a lot of people who are
- 8:43living their own lives. They got their own little space.
- 8:47And they like to listen to their music, They like to do their
- 8:50thing, and they don't mess with anybody else's yard.
- 8:54They just do their thing unless someone aggravates them where
- 8:59they feel like they've got some kind of real reason why they
- 9:01have to get involved in another neighbor's space.
- 9:05And that's how I can look at the countries, is that we all live
- 9:09on the same planet and you know, unless something's going on.
- 9:15There's no real reason why we should interfere with what
- 9:19another neighbor is doing unless it's causing us some kind of
- 9:22problems or serious things. And he's basically saying, who
- 9:26the hell is America to come into the neighborhood and say, you
- 9:32know, tell other people how to run things and how to do things?
- 9:36And I get to thinking to myself, well, he's right, isn't he?
- 9:42Where? Where is the set in stone?
- 9:45Where is it written that America gets to tell the rest of the
- 9:48world what the hell they can do with their military, or what
- 9:52they can do with their people, or how they want to do their
- 9:56roles? A lot of Christians believe that
- 10:00American leaders are trying to globalize the world and
- 10:04completely control everything. And are we really wanting that?
- 10:08Because if you think about it, we've seen what American
- 10:11politicians have done with the small chunk of land they have
- 10:15called America so far, and they've done a shit job.
- 10:20And I don't really feel like if we had more power and we had
- 10:24more land and we had more money that we're going to do any
- 10:27better. Because let's think about it.
- 10:29Even if the America had all the money in the world.
- 10:33They don't tend to focus on the citizens anymore.
- 10:37It's like they don't really think about the education of our
- 10:40children, our college students. They don't really think about
- 10:44doing anything about the medical field to improve it.
- 10:49There's a lot of shit going on with that.
- 10:51And we keep on sending our sons and daughters out to countries
- 10:56where they don't even bother to tell us what's going on anymore.
- 11:00We have to find out from fucking Twitter.
- 11:03Or social media. Or when people are literally in
- 11:06the middle of air raids, they're on their phones, you know,
- 11:10saying, oh, we're being attacked.
- 11:11And all this we find out from the citizens of other countries
- 11:16about what's going on before the news ever even bothers to get
- 11:20around to it or they feel forced to deal with the issue.
- 11:24So I'm listening to Putin. And what I get from him, when I
- 11:30look at him, the way he behaves, his body language, he's kind of
- 11:35a laid back dude. He's smart and he doesn't take
- 11:38any kind of shit off of people. He's not some typical cookie
- 11:42cutter villain that a lot of the media try to put him out the
- 11:46beat. Now I know what some people
- 11:48might say to me. They'll say, whoa, Brett Keene,
- 11:50you're not a Putin fan, are you? You know that this guy has done
- 11:54this and done that and he's like having these issues with the
- 11:57Ukraine, blah, blah blah. And I'm like, yeah, OK.
- 12:03I mean, it's horrible. I I don't like war any way
- 12:06around, but I kind of feel like we do the same exact thing.
- 12:10I feel like a lot of these countries, they stick their nose
- 12:13where they don't belong and and I feel like a lot of people are
- 12:17dying for no fucking good reason.
- 12:19So what's the difference? I mean, what?
- 12:23What is he doing that's any different than our politicians
- 12:27have done 100 times over? Exactly.
- 12:31And then it comes down to what he said What?
- 12:35Why do we think that we can tell the world what to do?
- 12:38Why do we think that we can go have a conversation with
- 12:44somebody like Israel? And then the very next day, our
- 12:47taxpayer money, $100 million, is given over to Gaza.
- 12:52I was not told about this. I didn't even know that our
- 12:56assets, our military assets were already put out there preparing
- 13:01themselves for war. We didn't even get a build up,
- 13:04ladies and gentlemen. We didn't even get told that our
- 13:08government is wanting to do this kind of shit.
- 13:10And I know what some people might argue.
- 13:12Well. We don't want to make remove
- 13:15public, you know, We don't want to pull a Joe Biden and, you
- 13:18know, put our special forces right up on Twitter like it's
- 13:21some kind of Instagram thing where we're showing off our new
- 13:24girlfriend. But it just seems really weird.
- 13:29Why do we think we can do that? Many of you may not realize
- 13:34this, or you may not be very good at history, but America is
- 13:37still. A very young country compared to
- 13:40every other country out there, including Russia.
- 13:43America as we know it right now has only been around for a
- 13:47little while. Compared to the Middle East and
- 13:51Russia and a lot of these other countries that exist, we're
- 13:55fairly new. And it's true historically that
- 13:58if you look back on China and Russia, they had some bad deals.
- 14:02They had some atheist dictators who fucked a whole lot of stuff
- 14:05up, that's for sure. There ain't no getting around
- 14:08it. And let's not even get into the
- 14:10problems that Germany had. Oh my God.
- 14:16But everybody's had their their shit problems, haven't we?
- 14:19We've had our Vietnam, They have their Joseph Stalin.
- 14:22We've it's it's been a fucking wreck with humanity.
- 14:25Bad decisions, no matter what culture or language you come
- 14:29from. But it just really got to me.
- 14:33I don't know how many times to repeat this but.
- 14:37Why do we think that we should be able to just drive our tanks
- 14:42down anybody St. Why do we think that we can just
- 14:44go into other countries and do this shit?
- 14:48It would be one thing, right? If I was seeing on the TV all
- 14:53the time, countries actually begging and pleading for our
- 14:57help and stuff, but that's not usually the issue.
- 15:01It's usually we're talking some shit at somebody.
- 15:05And people are saying we don't want you in our country.
- 15:08And I've even seen where some countries whenever we do send
- 15:12our soldiers over, it may seem barbaric and ignorant, but they
- 15:16actually celebrate. Whenever our soldiers die, they
- 15:19actually, they're like, ha ha ha, you you come here starting
- 15:22shut and we kicked your ass kind of attitude and they are, and it
- 15:26seems very cruel and terrible. But then I try to think about
- 15:30it. What if it was on the other
- 15:32foot? What if one of these countries
- 15:34invaded us and managed to succeed and actually coming into
- 15:38our local cities and towns and running their tanks and their
- 15:42weaponry and their loud ass machinery while we're trying to
- 15:46sleep in our little mud huts or homes or whatever the hell we
- 15:49live in and they're basically telling us this is how it's
- 15:52going to be. These are the rules.
- 15:55You can't come out at certain times the night or you'll get
- 15:58shot. I mean, that would be pretty
- 16:00fucking annoying, wouldn't it? Think about it.
- 16:03If it was on the other foot. So yeah, the question goes, why
- 16:10do we think that we have such power?
- 16:12Why do we think that we can just tell people what to do?
- 16:16Why do we think that we can tell a motherfucker from 1000 miles
- 16:19away, including their citizens and their empire, what they
- 16:24ought to do? It seems to me that the chess
- 16:29we've been playing so far is shitty.
- 16:32We're just making enemies with people.
- 16:34We bug people. We're getting on the nerves.
- 16:37Yeah, if you step away and you leave people alone, then another
- 16:44country may attack another country.
- 16:46Another country might do this. But as I've heard some atheists
- 16:50actually say, natural selection, right?
- 16:53The strong will succeed is where the weak will fail.
- 16:57And I know some religious people would argue, but if we stand
- 17:00back and we don't do nothing, then a bunch of innocent people
- 17:04get wiped out, and then what do you do?
- 17:06How do you handle that? Well, that's kind of like, if
- 17:10you think about it sometimes, you could call that the natural
- 17:14process of things. In order for us to become
- 17:18America, we had to go through a bunch of bullshit.
- 17:20With Europe, we had to go through a bunch of bullshit and
- 17:24we didn't have a whole lot of assistance, did we?
- 17:27It was pretty much a bunch of primitive ass heads who were
- 17:30trying to figure out their self in a new land and managed to be
- 17:34able to take off things. But just because you're not the
- 17:37most sophisticated military, just because you don't have all
- 17:41the toys and shit and all the neat ships, it doesn't mean that
- 17:45once somebody steps onto your property you're not going to be
- 17:47able to defend yourself and take them out, which we proved to be
- 17:51able to do during the Revolutionary War as well.
- 17:54Civil War, So. You know you never.
- 17:58One thing I've always learned, ladies and gentlemen, is never
- 18:01underestimate your enemy. No matter how stupid or ignorant
- 18:05or primitive someone sounds, no matter what kind of troglodyte
- 18:11you visualize them to be, never underestimate anyone.
- 18:15There's always someone that can get a lucky punch in.
- 18:18There's always someone out there that may say something that'll
- 18:21floor you and leave you breathless.
- 18:23And in awe, not really knowing what to say.
- 18:26Always be prepared for anything and everything in
- 18:29countermeasures. That's one of the reasons why
- 18:32I've survived as long as I have. I think very tactically when
- 18:38dealing with people that I love as well as people that are, you
- 18:41know, causing me problems. And that's what I kind of see
- 18:45whenever I look at a guy like Putin.
- 18:49He's got an intelligent mind and he's very tactical and all that
- 18:54and I would rather get along with someone like this as
- 18:58opposed to get into a squirrely ass fight match with somebody
- 19:03like this. I just don't see any.
- 19:06I don't see it as an intelligent move by.
- 19:09Antagonizing these countries or telling them, look, you know,
- 19:13we're blah, blah, blah, we're America, we're the badasses, and
- 19:17you got to do what we say. I just don't think that's a good
- 19:19idea. It almost makes us seem like
- 19:23we're coming off like we're a bully.
- 19:24We've got all the might, we've got all the strength, and you
- 19:28better listen to what we say or we'll turn your shit into a
- 19:31Walmart parking lot. You know?
- 19:33It's like, who the fuck are we to talk to people like that and
- 19:38act like that? And if we are talking like that,
- 19:42we're sure as hell not helping anybody out.
- 19:44We're not helping out the innocent citizens that
- 19:47supposedly exist. Because the moment you start a
- 19:50war and you initiate shit, there's going to be people who
- 19:54are not going to leave their homes.
- 19:56There are going to be people who have nowhere to go and they're
- 19:59going to be right in the middle of whatever firefight you have.
- 20:04So it's like maybe it's best to just kind of keep your pieces
- 20:07back on the board and just see what the hell happens.
- 20:11Watch, observe, pay attention, and don't make any stupid ass
- 20:15sudden moves. Think about it.
- 20:18There's no reason to force the game, you know what I mean?
- 20:21No reason to push forward. You know, we don't always have
- 20:27to have this idea in our head that we need to progress or that
- 20:30our way is better. Just sit back, watch how the
- 20:33other player moves, and shed and take one space the fucking time.
- 20:39That's how you play the game, you know?
- 20:44OK, what do you guys think? You think I'm ignorant for doing
- 20:47that? I think that when you're dealing
- 20:49with someone who could potentially be an enemy or a
- 20:53problem in the future, you should Really, How do I put
- 20:58this? I kind of have the philosophy
- 21:00from the movie Goodfellas. Have you ever seen that movie?
- 21:03You got to respect your enemy. You got to respect people out
- 21:08there. Even if you don't like someone,
- 21:10you at least need to acknowledge what they're good at and what
- 21:15they're capable of. You know, you don't just say,
- 21:18well, they're shit, So I'll just smear them into the ground
- 21:22because it's not always going to be that easy.
- 21:24You don't just walk up on people and forget the fact that they
- 21:27might be capable of biting your back kind of deal.
- 21:32And it always never hurts to actually try to get along with
- 21:36people. I like that.
- 21:38I like the whole idea of having allies and getting along with
- 21:42people. I just think that we should
- 21:44like, slow that shit down that that mildly talk, that whole
- 21:49we're we're the badasses of the world type of deal.
- 21:54I doubt anybody will listen. But that's where I stand.
- 21:58That's my thoughts on Putin and other leaders like him that I've
- 22:02sat back and listened to, just minding my own business
- 22:06listening to what they have to say.
- 22:08And I'll be honest with you, in all the years I've been watching
- 22:12Putin and some of these other leaders, a lot of them, they
- 22:16make a lot of sense to me. And they don't seem like they're
- 22:21like any kind of rush to get into a bunch of mess.
- 22:24But somehow, due to circumstances, people end up
- 22:27finding themselves further into the chess board than they ought
- 22:31to be or wanted to be. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 22:35I'm going to schedule a live show for Friday, 7:00 PM.
- 22:40Be looking for it. Continue to refresh your page
- 22:42and sooner or later you'll see it.
