Emergency Outage Tonight in Benson Area
Lights out tonight in Benson area—Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative is shutting power down around 10 PM, June 27th, to repair storm-damaged transmission poles. Restoration expected by 8 AM Sunday. Affected zones: north of I-10 and east of the San Pedro River, including Pomerene. Crews are working overnight to keep temps down, and the American Red Cross has a shelter ready at the Benson Community Center.
