Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Now this is the Mark Simone show on seven to ten.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Wo lor.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Well, it's Friday, I got it's Friday. I actually be
- 0:12Speaker 2: better versus Friday night. That way, we've gotten through Friday already.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Still have to get through this show. So, I don't know.
- 0:17Speaker 2: It's not right. It's cold outside, it's like autumn all
- 0:21Speaker 2: of a sudden, got to put on what they call outerwear.
- 0:25Speaker 2: It's I don't know. Every guest we had today canceled.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Don't worry. Don't worry. We'll get them all replaced. We'll
- 0:32Speaker 2: get new guests. Let's see other news. Well, the Nobel
- 0:38Speaker 2: Prize was announced. Now, this is gonna be an interesting battle.
- 0:43Speaker 2: I hope. I know the President's very busy with much
- 0:45Speaker 2: more important things, but I hope he takes up this
- 0:48Speaker 2: cause this Nobel Prize is the phoniest nothingest award. It's
- 0:54Speaker 2: a complete farce. I don't know how it's an incredible
- 0:58Speaker 2: most genius mark ever that they still have some kind
- 1:02Speaker 2: of reputation for prestige. It's not a legitimate award. It
- 1:07Speaker 2: goes to the worst people on earth. You can trade.
- 1:09Speaker 2: You know, people have put together these lists of all
- 1:12Speaker 2: the greats that didn't get a Nobel Prize and all
- 1:14Speaker 2: the worst people on earth that get these Nobel Prizes.
- 1:19Speaker 2: So obviously this year, I mean, if you're going to
- 1:22Speaker 2: it's called the Nobel Peace Prize. There's different Nobel Prizes.
- 1:25Speaker 2: There's one for science, this one for literature. All the
- 1:27Speaker 2: greats of literature have never gotten the literature one because
- 1:30Speaker 2: we don't like their politics, sir. They give the Nobel
- 1:35Speaker 2: Prize for economics to the worst economists in the world,
- 1:39Speaker 2: the worst economist ever, Paul Kruman, He's a Nobel Prize winner.
- 1:42Speaker 2: It's the worst award. As many people point out privately,
- 1:46Speaker 2: it's not a Nobel Peace Prize. It's a Democrat peace Prize.
- 1:51Speaker 2: It's a European globalist, left wing kook prize. They're the
- 1:56Speaker 2: ones that decide it. They're the ones that make up
- 1:57Speaker 2: the committee. They made the announcement today, the Nobel Peace Price. Now, obviously,
- 2:02Speaker 2: if you just settled seven wars in one year, let
- 2:07Speaker 2: me repeat that, seven wars in one year. You just
- 2:10Speaker 2: settled the Israel Hamas conflict, which has got to be
- 2:13Speaker 2: the most difficult thing to settle. If you just bought
- 2:19Speaker 2: brought peace to me, obviously you would of course you
- 2:21Speaker 2: would get the Nobel Price. Who could be ahead of
- 2:24Speaker 2: you on accomplishment. But it's the Nobel Price, a totally
- 2:28Speaker 2: corrupt award. It only goes to left wing far left.
- 2:32Speaker 2: The Nobel announcement was this morning.
- 2:34Speaker 3: The Nobel Peace Price for twenty twenty five goes through
- 2:38Speaker 3: a brain and committed champion of peace to a woman
- 2:45Speaker 3: who keeps the democracy burn amidst the growing darkness.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Yes, the winner is hang on, what the hell is
- 2:55Speaker 2: her name? Maria Corina Mikado is the Peace Prize winner.
- 3:02Speaker 2: She leads not Venezuela. She's the opposition leader in Venezuela.
- 3:08Speaker 2: She wins for her let's say here, her struggle against authoritarianism,
- 3:12Speaker 2: fearless defensive democracy and her bold moral leadership A translation
- 3:18Speaker 2: left wing kook far left calls Trump names perfect. She wins.
- 3:23Speaker 2: This is the woman. Tells her name, Maria Corina Makado.
- 3:27Speaker 4: The Nrwegian Nobel Committee has decided to award the Nobel
- 3:31Speaker 4: Peace Prize for twenty twenty five to Maria Corina Machado.
- 3:40Speaker 4: She is receiving the Nobel Peace Price for her tireless
- 3:43Speaker 4: work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Yes, now this whoever this weasel is who runs this
- 3:54Speaker 2: Nobel committee. He was asked why did't Donald Trump get it?
- 3:58Speaker 2: And he didn't come right out say it. He just
- 4:01Speaker 2: danced around it. He said something, it's not just for
- 4:03Speaker 2: the accomplishments, it's not just about peace. It's about leadership
- 4:07Speaker 2: and character. And now again, President Trump's very busy, He's
- 4:13Speaker 2: got much more important things to worry about. But I hope,
- 4:15Speaker 2: and he's the guy that could do this. I hope
- 4:17Speaker 2: he will now work on completely shattering and destroying the
- 4:21Speaker 2: reputation of the Nobel Peace Prize. I don't know how
- 4:24Speaker 2: the hell they still have this aura about them, like
- 4:28Speaker 2: as if it's some sort of prestigious award. It's the
- 4:30Speaker 2: most slanted, corrupt, biased, left wing coock award. Remember they
- 4:35Speaker 2: gave one to Barack Obama the day he was elected.
- 4:38Speaker 2: He hadn't even done anything yet, literally had done nothing.
- 4:42Speaker 2: He just got elected. They gave him a Nobel Peace Price.
- 4:45Speaker 2: They call it the Nobel Participation Trophy. He did nothing,
- 4:49Speaker 2: had not even started yet, and they gave it to him.
- 4:51Speaker 2: But that's the way they are. If they don't like
- 4:54Speaker 2: one thing you say, you don't get a Nobel Peace
- 4:56Speaker 2: Prize like Gandhi didn't get it. They didn't like something
- 4:58Speaker 2: he said. It's hopefully the president will go to work
- 5:01Speaker 2: on them and start taking away that ridiculous reputation of it.
- 5:08Speaker 2: I think this was the day before. This is before
- 5:09Speaker 2: the announcement they did settle.
- 5:11Speaker 5: Marco would tell you we settled seven wars, we're close
- 5:15Speaker 5: to settling an eighth. And I think we'll end up
- 5:18Speaker 5: settling the Russia situation, which is horrible. Seven thousand people
- 5:21Speaker 5: died last week, by the way, in Russia, between Russia
- 5:25Speaker 5: and Ukraine. I think we'll settle that. So I don't
- 5:28Speaker 5: think anybody in history is settled that that many. But
- 5:31Speaker 5: perhaps they'll find a reason not to give it to me.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, if you watch the left wing kook stations,
- 5:37Speaker 2: you know, the MSNBC, they're all talking about President Trump.
- 5:42Speaker 2: He really wants that. It means a lot to him
- 5:44Speaker 2: to have that Nobel. It means absolutely nothing to him.
- 5:47Speaker 2: It means absolutely nothing. First of all, he had a
- 5:51Speaker 2: Nobel Prize. You know, if you put an Oscar on
- 5:53Speaker 2: your mantle, people walking, oh my god, you got an Oscar.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Put the Nobel Peace Prize right on your mantle. He
- 6:00Speaker 2: knows what the hell it is. Nobody even recognize it anyway.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Let's get to more important stuff. Letitia James has been indicted.
- 6:07Speaker 2: This slob will most likely get convicted. Her response was
- 6:14Speaker 2: she put out a video. That's interesting. You see, normally
- 6:19Speaker 2: your response should be to hold a press conference and
- 6:23Speaker 2: answer any and all questions about this. That's what you
- 6:27Speaker 2: would do if you're innocent. If you're innocent, you'd hold
- 6:29Speaker 2: a press conference and then you'd make a statement. Then
- 6:31Speaker 2: the reporters would ask you, but did you put down
- 6:34Speaker 2: that it was going to be your primary residence when
- 6:36Speaker 2: it wasn't Did you ever live in They'd ask you
- 6:38Speaker 2: a million questions. You did answer them. But if you're guilty,
- 6:41Speaker 2: you can't answer. You can't. In fact, you can't say
- 6:44Speaker 2: anything specifically about the crime because you'll be held to
- 6:48Speaker 2: that in court if you do it publicly. So she
- 6:50Speaker 2: can't do the live press conference, so instead she puts
- 6:53Speaker 2: out a video statement.
- 6:55Speaker 6: We will fight these baseless charges aggressively.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Now that's a lawyer, and that's very loyally. You would
- 7:03Speaker 2: normally say, we'll fight these false charges. I'm innocent, will
- 7:07Speaker 2: fight these false charges. But when you say baseless, that's
- 7:10Speaker 2: what a lawyer will tell you to say doesn't mean
- 7:12Speaker 2: it's false. It's a vague word. So you're covered legally
- 7:16Speaker 2: just saying it's baseless.
- 7:18Speaker 6: And my office will continue to fiercely protect New Yorkers
- 7:22Speaker 6: and their rights, and I will continue to do my job.
- 7:26Speaker 6: I stand strongly behind my office is litigation against the
- 7:30Speaker 6: Trump organization. We conducted a two year investigation based on
- 7:36Speaker 6: the facts and evidence, not politics. Judges have upheld the
- 7:43Speaker 6: trial court's finding that Donald Trump, his company, and his
- 7:48Speaker 6: two sons liable for fraud.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Yeah, now that's actually not true. Now that's an actual lie.
- 7:55Speaker 2: One court after another is slowly but surely tossing out everything.
- 7:59Speaker 2: There's no legitimate legal expert in the world who believes
- 8:03Speaker 2: that she brought a valid case against them. In fact,
- 8:07Speaker 2: most of the I'm not talking with the left wing
- 8:09Speaker 2: kook MSNBC I legal people, but they're real legal experts.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Even the appeals court on the very first hearing, the
- 8:16Speaker 2: appeals court couldn't believe the silly charge she came up with,
- 8:20Speaker 2: and they said to the prosecutors, has anybody in history
- 8:24Speaker 2: ever been charged with this? And even the prosecutor had
- 8:27Speaker 2: to say, no, it's just a made up charge. About
- 8:32Speaker 2: absolutely nothing.
- 8:33Speaker 6: This is nothing more than a continuation of the president's
- 8:37Speaker 6: desperate weaponization of our justice system.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Do you ever, well, it's not weaponization. I think it's
- 8:47Speaker 2: called karma. I think it's what's the what do they
- 8:50Speaker 2: call it, fafo? I think that's exactly exactly what it was.
- 8:54Speaker 2: So remember when she ran for office, she's a little
- 8:59Speaker 2: like a broken down a road show version of Joseph Stalin. See,
- 9:03Speaker 2: the American justice system is if a crime is committed,
- 9:07Speaker 2: we then investigate to see who committed the crime. That's
- 9:11Speaker 2: our justice system. The Joe Stalin Soviet justice system is
- 9:16Speaker 2: we pick somebody we don't like and then we investigate
- 9:18Speaker 2: to find a crime. Here we have a crime, then
- 9:21Speaker 2: we go investigate see who did it. In the Soviet style,
- 9:25Speaker 2: you pick who you hate, start investigating until you can
- 9:28Speaker 2: find a crime. And that's Letitia James. She's at like
- 9:32Speaker 2: a poor man's Joe Stalin. When she campaigned, she said
- 9:36Speaker 2: she would weaponize the system when she campaigned, and in
- 9:40Speaker 2: congratulations to Anderson Cooper, who's on CNN yet last night
- 9:43Speaker 2: he really slammed her, saying it was disgusting what she
- 9:47Speaker 2: did campaigning, saying that she would go after Donald Trump.
- 9:51Speaker 2: She would target him, that she would look for a crime.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Here's her campaign.
- 9:55Speaker 6: He built his wealth off the backs of New Yorkers,
- 9:59Speaker 6: and need to focus on Donald Trump and his abuses.
- 10:01Speaker 6: We need to follow his money, We need to find
- 10:04Speaker 6: out where he's laundered money. All of those transactions have
- 10:07Speaker 6: happened here in New York City. Tell this president and
- 10:09Speaker 6: every other individual that no one is above the law.
- 10:12Speaker 7: I said the bottom line.
- 10:13Speaker 8: He said that presidents from Brooklyn whore.
- 10:15Speaker 5: That'll really make the difference.
- 10:17Speaker 8: I a jize.
- 10:17Speaker 7: Individuals from the city are at a give.
- 10:19Speaker 6: Individuals who care about state why the issues are in
- 10:22Speaker 6: a jive, Individuals who care about Okay, it's going after Donald.
- 10:25Speaker 5: Charms as legitimate government.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Yeah. So remember she took it to a New York
- 10:30Speaker 2: City courtroom where she got a crazy kook of a
- 10:33Speaker 2: left wing judge, She got left wing Trump hating jurors,
- 10:36Speaker 2: and she got a conviction. But it's all being overturned.
- 10:40Speaker 2: One court has already thrown I remember there was a
- 10:42Speaker 2: massive like a four hundred million dollar fine that's already
- 10:44Speaker 2: been tossed out by a court. And one by one
- 10:47Speaker 2: they're just dismantling this case. Now on appeal it gets
- 10:51Speaker 2: to it. When it gets to a legitimate court, the
- 10:52Speaker 2: case will be thrown out and he'll be found there'll
- 10:56Speaker 2: be no conviction. But the Demo control the court system
- 11:01Speaker 2: in New York, so they're delaying the appeal. Now, normally
- 11:05Speaker 2: that appeal would have happened in six months. It's about
- 11:07Speaker 2: two years now they're still delaying it. They're delaying it
- 11:10Speaker 2: because you know the case will get tossed out. It's
- 11:13Speaker 2: a preposterous case. So la Tisha James. If you check
- 11:17Speaker 2: out my Twitter, you can see the documents. She actually
- 11:20Speaker 2: did commit mortgage fraud. She put down on the form
- 11:23Speaker 2: that it was her principal residence and she would live there,
- 11:26Speaker 2: it would be her primary residence. It's in Virginia. Now
- 11:29Speaker 2: that's impossible. You can't be Attorney General of New York
- 11:32Speaker 2: and live in Virginia. In fact, part of the illegally
- 11:35Speaker 2: in New York, you have to live here to be
- 11:37Speaker 2: the Attorney General. So she's committing a crime with that,
- 11:42Speaker 2: and she's got the document. She can claim I don't
- 11:45Speaker 2: know what I signed, I didn't understand it, I didn't
- 11:48Speaker 2: read it. She's the attorney general. You can't claim you
- 11:51Speaker 2: can't read a simple legal thing for a mortgage, so
- 11:54Speaker 2: it is mortgage fraud. She will get convicted. Now there's
- 11:57Speaker 2: probably other charges coming. We'll see what happens. This will
- 12:01Speaker 2: be pretty good to watch. And again the media, you
- 12:06Speaker 2: got Chuck Schumer and all these idiots on all the
- 12:09Speaker 2: left wing Coop network screaming it's the end of our democracy.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Is we've gone totally Soviet? Ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. Again credit
- 12:21Speaker 2: to Anderson Cooper, the one guy on CNN who said
- 12:25Speaker 2: that what Latitia James did was just awful, just horrible.
- 12:29Speaker 2: So what else a president goes to? Walter reed today
- 12:34Speaker 2: the hospital for you usually get an annual physical. But
- 12:37Speaker 2: that was six months ago, so he's back in six
- 12:39Speaker 2: months and he said it's a semi annual physical. It's
- 12:42Speaker 2: not a bad idea to get it twice a year,
- 12:46Speaker 2: especially when you're an older president. But everybody a little suspicious.
- 12:51Speaker 2: You don't normally go I mean, of course you go
- 12:53Speaker 2: to the doctor more than once a year, but you
- 12:55Speaker 2: don't normally go for hours for a detailed physical unless
- 12:59Speaker 2: something's wrong. It probably is something wrong. It doesn't mean
- 13:01Speaker 2: anything major. We know he's got problems with his ankles,
- 13:04Speaker 2: his legs, he's got swelling, but these are things you
- 13:07Speaker 2: get when you get into your upper seventies. And he's
- 13:10Speaker 2: got those white spots on his hand, some kind of
- 13:13Speaker 2: skin conditioned blood circulation, something like that. In the White House,
- 13:17Speaker 2: they have a doctor's office with a doctor twenty four
- 13:19Speaker 2: hours a day in the White House, and they got
- 13:22Speaker 2: a little medical center in the White House where they
- 13:24Speaker 2: can do a lot. They can do cat scans, they
- 13:26Speaker 2: can do MRIs. They got all the imaging stuff, all
- 13:29Speaker 2: the equipment right there in the White House twenty four
- 13:31Speaker 2: to seven. So he's and he's scheduled to be at
- 13:35Speaker 2: Walter Reed for a long time eleven am to three pm.
- 13:38Speaker 2: That's four hours there. But so they're really looking. They
- 13:42Speaker 2: might have found something at the White House and they
- 13:44Speaker 2: want to do something in Walter Reed. There'll be a
- 13:46Speaker 2: press conference, they'll explain what happened. But he'll be back
- 13:49Speaker 2: at the White House at five today. He's expected to
- 13:52Speaker 2: leave for the Middle East over the weekend. The hostages
- 13:55Speaker 2: are being released. He'll be there when they're released. He'll
- 14:00Speaker 2: speak to the Kanesi. He's going to Egypt. He's going
- 14:02Speaker 2: to meet with the negotiators who did an incredible job.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Steve whitcoffin Hamas, they had to do this deal.
- 14:11Speaker 5: The pressure was on them.
- 14:13Speaker 2: They were backed up, and you've got the bigger army.
- 14:16Speaker 5: You were making inroads and that's what led to this deal.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Now, the President wrote the book The Art of the Deal,
- 14:22Speaker 2: talks about the deal. This is probably the most complicated
- 14:25Speaker 2: deal he ever did, and it was done brilliantly. A
- 14:28Speaker 2: lot of skill involved here. Sometimes you need some luck,
- 14:31Speaker 2: but this was all skill. And it was like a
- 14:35Speaker 2: chess game for a long time, backing Hamas into a
- 14:37Speaker 2: corner negotiation wise, back in bb net, Yahoo into a
- 14:41Speaker 2: corner negotiation wise. The actual Hamas chief is Khalil al Haya.
- 14:48Speaker 2: He said yesterday the war in Gaza is over. He said,
- 14:52Speaker 2: Hamas received guarantees from the US, from the Arab mediators.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Trump bought in all these other countries who backed up
- 14:59Speaker 2: the deals. But he says the war is over, the
- 15:02Speaker 2: deal is done. And it was a tough day for
- 15:05Speaker 2: the media because they had to actually give Trump praise.
- 15:09Speaker 2: This was an amazing accomplishment. If a Nobel Peace Prize
- 15:14Speaker 2: were legitimate, they'd probably give them three of them this year.
- 15:16Speaker 2: But this was an amazing thing. And even those Trump haters,
- 15:20Speaker 2: those anchors, those media people had to say, so.
- 15:23Speaker 9: This is a huge accomplishment by the Trump administration.
- 15:26Speaker 2: I think this is news to celebrate.
- 15:28Speaker 10: This is a major breakthrough and a huge accomplishment for
- 15:31Speaker 10: the president.
- 15:31Speaker 6: If we see those remaining hostages freed in Israel begin
- 15:35Speaker 6: its withdrawal, it is a remarkable achievement and President Trump
- 15:38Speaker 6: most certainly deserves credit for his role.
- 15:41Speaker 10: I can remember in the month or so after October
- 15:45Speaker 10: seventh and Israeli, a senior official saying to me, we
- 15:49Speaker 10: are so disoriented and traumatized by this war. The United
- 15:53Speaker 10: States is going to have to make decisions for us.
- 15:56Speaker 10: Joe Biden could never do that, and Donald Trump was
- 16:01Speaker 10: able to do it.
- 16:03Speaker 2: It killed them with those anchors, even here Martha raddit's there,
- 16:06Speaker 2: they had to say it. President former President Obama put
- 16:10Speaker 2: out a statement thing how wonderful was thanking everybody, but
- 16:13Speaker 2: refused to mention Trump in the statement, would not mention
- 16:16Speaker 2: President Trump and getting a lot of flag for it.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Now in his defense, when he killed Osama bin Laden,
- 16:25Speaker 2: Trump put out statements and didn't mention Obama. So I
- 16:29Speaker 2: guess you could use that as an argument for it,
- 16:31Speaker 2: but hey, we'll get to the mayoral race coming up.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Cuomo has been speaking, Mamdannie has been They're all doing interviews.
- 16:38Speaker 2: We'll go over them. We'll give you all the latest
- 16:39Speaker 2: on the mayoral race coming up, and we'll take some
- 16:43Speaker 2: calls in a moment. Eight hundred three to two one
- 16:46Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three to
- 16:49Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten.
- 16:51Speaker 10: Set up said on the iHeartRadio app to do w
- 16:54Speaker 10: o R to hear Mark live.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Set another for Mark's podcast to hear him Now back
- 17:01Speaker 1: to Mark Simon on wo R.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Hey, let's say some calls. Eight hundred three to two
- 17:08Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is a number. Let's go to Sylvia, Manhattan, Sylvia.
- 17:12Speaker 1: How you doing, Mark DearS, Yes to me, there is
- 17:17Speaker 1: no difference between the Vogue magazine cover and the Nobel
- 17:22Speaker 1: Peace Prize follow For years, the most Beautiful First Lady
- 17:28Speaker 1: has been ignored for the likes of Jill Biden. Question Mark,
- 17:34Speaker 1: they are petti to the smallest extent. The Nobel Peace Prize.
- 17:40Speaker 2: You know you should have been a hypnotist. You got
- 17:41Speaker 2: that hypnotic voice, that way you're talking.
- 17:44Speaker 8: I know, I know. Don't go to sleep don't go
- 17:47Speaker 8: to sleep, dearest, because the Nobel Peace Prize is printed
- 17:51Speaker 8: on the same toilet paper as the Vogue covers are.
- 17:56Speaker 2: The same, very very biased. All right, Sylvia, thanks for
- 17:59Speaker 2: calling I No, no, that's like a hundred house this
- 18:01Speaker 2: smile the phone.
- 18:02Speaker 5: Go.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Then let's go to uh Mike and Florida.
- 18:04Speaker 11: Mike, how you doing? Yes?
- 18:07Speaker 2: Uh?
- 18:08Speaker 12: By the way, Ice down here.
- 18:10Speaker 13: At the President's Age, go to thet go to the
- 18:13Speaker 13: hospital twice a week, and they're just sitting around playing well.
- 18:16Speaker 2: In their defense, it's Florida. You people have nothing to
- 18:18Speaker 2: do all day. You get the Starbucks at five am,
- 18:20Speaker 2: wait for them to open. You got nothing to do
- 18:22Speaker 2: all day? You wait for dinner at three o'clock.
- 18:26Speaker 14: Over the last couple of days, two names popped into
- 18:28Speaker 14: my head.
- 18:29Speaker 12: Don't ask me why, don't ask me how Manti Rock
- 18:33Speaker 12: and London Lee.
- 18:34Speaker 2: London Lee. These were minor stars. London London Lee was
- 18:40Speaker 2: a great He was an okay comedian who got himself
- 18:44Speaker 2: all over the Ed Sullivan Show. Had quite a career
- 18:48Speaker 2: in the late sixties into the seventies. Uh yeah, I
- 18:51Speaker 2: knew the guy. In the eighties he was had been
- 18:54Speaker 2: forgotten about. He was kind of a He was one
- 18:56Speaker 2: of these crazy guys who tried to act like a
- 18:58Speaker 2: big star, you know. You'd he'd pay in the restaurant
- 19:03Speaker 2: of the store with cash and then when they give
- 19:04Speaker 2: him the change, he look at the bills. He said,
- 19:06Speaker 2: I don't take bills that have sevens in them, No
- 19:08Speaker 2: sevens in the serial number. And he give me that
- 19:11Speaker 2: kind of guy. And Monty Rock the Third, he was
- 19:13Speaker 2: he became pretty big. He was a hairdresser and he
- 19:15Speaker 2: got on MERV Griffin, The Tonight Show and Mike Douglas
- 19:18Speaker 2: and then he had a big hit record. What was
- 19:19Speaker 2: it called. It was Let's Get Dan some Disco Texts
- 19:23Speaker 2: and the Letts in the Disco.
- 19:27Speaker 15: And he was all of a TV back in the
- 19:29Speaker 15: sixties and seventies.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Yeah, it became quite a star based on absolutely nothing.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Just a good person. All right, good question, Mike. Let's
- 19:36Speaker 2: go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 19:39Speaker 12: You mean, like the Kardashians that have no talent at all,
- 19:42Speaker 12: The only talent they have is their bodies.
- 19:45Speaker 2: No, you got to give them more credit. They became billionaires.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Monty Rock the Third, you know, made a few bucks,
- 19:50Speaker 2: but that was it.
- 19:50Speaker 12: Yeah, Yeah, isn't one of the Kardashians like Zoe billionaire
- 19:57Speaker 12: the youngest.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Go yeah, yeah, millions.
- 20:01Speaker 12: Yeah, Mark, I'm glad, all everybody is glad that Letitia
- 20:06Speaker 12: James got indicting, got indicted yesterday. But on the flip side, unfortunately,
- 20:13Speaker 12: all the suckers in New York State a footing her
- 20:17Speaker 12: legal bill because Katy hoche and the legislature set up
- 20:22Speaker 12: a slush fund. How much what was it? Ten million
- 20:25Speaker 12: dollars they set it up for. Yeah, so, but that
- 20:29Speaker 12: gives New York is another reason why to try and
- 20:33Speaker 12: vote Katy Hulko, Carl Hasty and Andrea Stewart cousins out
- 20:39Speaker 12: because they set up this slush fund. Imagine if you
- 20:43Speaker 12: have some petty legal bill, like a person who's building
- 20:47Speaker 12: a fence, your neighbor went a couple of inches over
- 20:51Speaker 12: their property line, and you're in court trying to fight
- 20:54Speaker 12: them to put the defence back a few inches on
- 20:57Speaker 12: their property line. You go for you your shirt.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Meanwhile, hey, Vincent, we gotta go. We gotta do the news.
- 21:03Speaker 2: But that's a very good point, excellent point about that
- 21:05Speaker 2: legal fund. Bet, thanks for calling. We got to go
- 21:07Speaker 2: because we got to do the news. And when we
- 21:09Speaker 2: come back, Miranda Divine will be with us. Talk to
- 21:11Speaker 2: her next on seven to ten WR.
- 21:14Speaker 12: It's more Mark Simone on sevent ten wor.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Well, Miranda Divine, the great columnist, the best selling author.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Make sure you get her book. It's a big best seller.
- 21:26Speaker 2: But if you haven't gotten you get the book, The
- 21:28Speaker 2: Big Guy. It is the best book on Joe Biden,
- 21:31Speaker 2: the corruption hunter that's called The Big Guy. Get the book.
- 21:35Speaker 2: She also does a great podcast called pod Force one.
- 21:39Speaker 2: You can get it at the New York Post website
- 21:40Speaker 2: or wherever you get your podcast. Miranda Divine's podcast. Also,
- 21:44Speaker 2: all her great columns are up on the New York
- 21:46Speaker 2: Post website. Miranda Divine.
- 21:48Speaker 15: How you doing, Hi, March, how are you?
- 21:51Speaker 2: I'm good. Isn't it great watching Tis James, the queen
- 21:55Speaker 2: of weaponization of a justice system, complain about it.
- 22:00Speaker 7: Oh, It's just delicious. No one is above the law,
- 22:04Speaker 7: you know. And I love seeing the Dems fanning out
- 22:07Speaker 7: on CNN, MSNBC, just outraged about this weaponization they're complaining about.
- 22:14Speaker 7: And they were all a cocker hoop when she was
- 22:17Speaker 7: doing it for Donald Trump and almost bankrupted his company,
- 22:21Speaker 7: his family company, And you know, I find it quite
- 22:28Speaker 7: astonishing that their excuse is that, oh, everybody does it,
- 22:33Speaker 7: everybody commits mortgage fraud, and all the more reason why
- 22:37Speaker 7: a couple of high profile scalps, and remember she's not
- 22:41Speaker 7: the only one. Adam Schiff is also in the cross
- 22:45Speaker 7: hairs on for the same issue, that they should be
- 22:50Speaker 7: held up as deterrence for anyone else who might be
- 22:53Speaker 7: thinking of trying to get a better priced mortgage to
- 22:58Speaker 7: save themselves some money when they're not entitled to it.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and you know when they said, well, Donald Trump
- 23:06Speaker 2: overvalued this apartment, do you know any real estate istions
- 23:08Speaker 2: that doesn't do that on any listing.
- 23:11Speaker 7: Well, but I mean also some of that was just ridiculous,
- 23:15Speaker 7: Like they're talking about Mary Lago being worth I think
- 23:18Speaker 7: it was Judge anger On who said, you know, took
- 23:21Speaker 7: some ridiculous evaluation that said it was worth a couple
- 23:24Speaker 7: of million dollars. I can't from the eighteen million eighteen right, Yeah,
- 23:29Speaker 7: and it's worth you know, multiples of that, ten times
- 23:32Speaker 7: that at least, so you know, anyone who's seen it,
- 23:35Speaker 7: it's ridiculous. It's absolutely prime waterfront on both sides, beachfront waterfront.
- 23:42Speaker 7: It's just an amazing property, and the idea that it
- 23:44Speaker 7: would be worth eighteen million.
- 23:46Speaker 11: I mean I'd buy it.
- 23:47Speaker 7: I could get together some friends and we could all
- 23:50Speaker 7: put the money together and borrow, beg, borrow and steal.
- 23:53Speaker 7: You'd do anything because it would be such a bargain.
- 23:57Speaker 15: But no, it's not.
- 23:57Speaker 7: Worth eighteen million. And Lt. James, no one is above
- 24:01Speaker 7: the law, you know, that's what she loved to say
- 24:03Speaker 7: about Donald Trump. She ran for office on the promise
- 24:07Speaker 7: to get Trump. So don't bleat about weaponization.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Hey, you're very good at human nature analyzing people. This burning,
- 24:17Speaker 2: raging hatred they have for Donald Trump, what is it? Really?
- 24:21Speaker 2: It's not just what he did politically. I mean, you know,
- 24:24Speaker 2: we didn't like some of the stuff Biden did, but
- 24:25Speaker 2: we don't go insane yelling about what is it that? Well,
- 24:29Speaker 2: how does it cause this rage in people?
- 24:33Speaker 7: I actually think in it's a lot of them are women.
- 24:36Speaker 11: It's daddy issues.
- 24:38Speaker 8: You know.
- 24:39Speaker 11: They don't like.
- 24:40Speaker 7: Strong men who sort of are quite happy and comfortable
- 24:44Speaker 7: in their masculinity and are masters of the universe and
- 24:48Speaker 7: command people and command rooms. And I don't know what
- 24:53Speaker 7: happened in their childhood, but it's really it's a psychological problem.
- 24:58Speaker 7: It really isn't based in reality.
- 25:01Speaker 15: And I don't know.
- 25:03Speaker 7: I mean, they're so head up on it. I have friends,
- 25:07Speaker 7: well I don't know if they're still friends. But you
- 25:09Speaker 7: know people, I know women who have just gone nuts
- 25:14Speaker 7: and they can't have a conversation with you unless they
- 25:17Speaker 7: bring up Donald Trump and try and change your mind.
- 25:20Speaker 7: And I don't know why they have to make everything political.
- 25:23Speaker 7: It's quite sick. And in fact, I interviewed Keith Ablow,
- 25:27Speaker 7: who's a forensic psychiacterst and actually was Hunter Biden's former
- 25:32Speaker 7: shrink and great guy, and it's for the podcast to
- 25:36Speaker 7: be coming up in a couple of weeks, but he
- 25:39Speaker 7: has a very interesting analysis of the people who are
- 25:43Speaker 7: Trump deranged and he really said, he said, I'll get
- 25:47Speaker 7: a lot of hate mail for this, but you should
- 25:49Speaker 7: really ask yourself, why are you allowing this obsession with
- 25:54Speaker 7: Donald Trump to rule your life. There's something going on
- 25:57Speaker 7: with you, not with him.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Fascinating. Well, you know there's a strong male, you know,
- 26:03Speaker 2: Bill Clinton, he showed a lot of vulnerability, George Bush
- 26:06Speaker 2: showed vulnerability. But you're right, Trump doesn't show any vulnerability
- 26:10Speaker 2: ever anywhere, does he?
- 26:13Speaker 7: No He's a swaggering, proud, unabashed masculine male and he
- 26:20Speaker 7: you know, he bosses people around, He manipulates the world
- 26:25Speaker 7: around him. He won't take no for an answer. I mean,
- 26:30Speaker 7: the world was built, the civilized world was built with
- 26:34Speaker 7: people like that who just don't really care what anyone
- 26:38Speaker 7: thinks of them.
- 26:39Speaker 11: They just barrel.
- 26:40Speaker 7: Ahead, and you're either with them or you're against them,
- 26:44Speaker 7: and so it is. And so I mean, you can
- 26:48Speaker 7: oppose him and you cannot like what he does, and
- 26:51Speaker 7: that's what politics is all about. But this is beyond that.
- 26:55Speaker 7: This is like a personal derangement. I mean, Rosie o'donald,
- 27:00Speaker 7: he's there talking about her Trump derangement, like with her face.
- 27:04Speaker 7: I don't know why she puts her face so close
- 27:05Speaker 7: to the screen, but she does. And she said that
- 27:08Speaker 7: she was telling her therapist about it, and her therapist said, well,
- 27:13Speaker 7: you know, maybe you know, why are you getting so
- 27:16Speaker 7: upset about this? And Rosie said to her therapist, the
- 27:19Speaker 7: real problem is why aren't you getting more upset about it?
- 27:22Speaker 15: In Ireland?
- 27:24Speaker 2: Oh, this is fascinting. This should be your next book
- 27:27Speaker 2: analyzing this. No, it's fascinating, this daddy issue or this
- 27:31Speaker 2: you know, the problem is every billionaire. You know, a
- 27:33Speaker 2: few of them are like this. When they go to work,
- 27:35Speaker 2: they're rough, tough, you know Bezos or Steve Jobs that
- 27:39Speaker 2: they're vicious. I mean in a good way. They get things,
- 27:42Speaker 2: just Award Latnik. Yeah, but most people have never been
- 27:45Speaker 2: around one, and this is just how they act. He's
- 27:47Speaker 2: not a politician. He refuses to put on any of
- 27:50Speaker 2: that fake formality in public. But how's this going to
- 27:54Speaker 2: end these don't you think these lunatics going to have
- 27:57Speaker 2: to pace themselves. They got to get through three and
- 27:58Speaker 2: a half more years of Trump.
- 28:01Speaker 7: I think some of them are just leaning into assassination culture.
- 28:06Speaker 12: You know.
- 28:06Speaker 7: Fanta side about Trump being dead. I remember a few
- 28:10Speaker 7: weeks ago, he sort of wasn't on social media for
- 28:14Speaker 7: like two.
- 28:14Speaker 11: Days, and.
- 28:17Speaker 7: He played golf and you know, he did a few things.
- 28:20Speaker 7: And then this rumor started on the left and they
- 28:24Speaker 7: were prompted by some lefty journalist and they were all
- 28:29Speaker 7: fantasizing that, oh he's dead and no one's told us them. Yay,
- 28:33Speaker 7: they were celebrating.
- 28:34Speaker 11: I mean, that is so sick.
- 28:36Speaker 7: And then you know, we've seen worse with the like
- 28:41Speaker 7: wishing that the bullet that hit his ear had done better,
- 28:45Speaker 7: damn worse damage. Celebrating Charlie Kirk's assassination. I think that's happening.
- 28:50Speaker 7: But on the other side, I think maybe there might be. Well,
- 28:54Speaker 7: there was one woman who was at the White House
- 28:56Speaker 7: roundtable on Antifa on Wednesday, Comember her name, but she's
- 29:02Speaker 7: now like a social media influencer or a citizen journalist.
- 29:06Speaker 7: And she was there and she said, I have recovered
- 29:09Speaker 7: from Trump durand and she said, now I'm much happier,
- 29:13Speaker 7: much nicer, and I think I'm better looking.
- 29:17Speaker 2: This is fascinating. So this will be the next podcast
- 29:20Speaker 2: with doctor Keith Hableau.
- 29:22Speaker 7: Yes, oh yeah, well we have someone else but then
- 29:26Speaker 7: the following week.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Yeah, oh, I can't wait to hear this.
- 29:30Speaker 7: He is so interesting. He's got insights into all of,
- 29:35Speaker 7: you know, the sort of psychology of the left. His
- 29:38Speaker 7: his thesis is that they these you know, you see
- 29:42Speaker 7: these Antifa protests and riots, and there are a whole
- 29:47Speaker 7: lot of people who look like they're from the Night
- 29:50Speaker 7: of the Living Dead.
- 29:51Speaker 11: They look like they're.
- 29:52Speaker 7: Extras from a horror movie. And you know, it really
- 29:55Speaker 7: is that. I mean, there are a lot of transgender
- 29:58Speaker 7: individuals meant ill, drug addicted, homeless. That Antifa guys apparently
- 30:04Speaker 7: are dragooning homeless. You don't even want to to come
- 30:07Speaker 7: out and do things for them, give them free cigarettes and.
- 30:11Speaker 8: So.
- 30:11Speaker 7: But anyway, it's a real collection of bizarro people. And
- 30:16Speaker 7: what Keith Abler says about that is that these people
- 30:20Speaker 7: have lost their sense of self. They they haven't got
- 30:25Speaker 7: an identity. And really, ultimately, your sense of self comes
- 30:30Speaker 7: from God, Theesis, and if you've severed that, And he said,
- 30:34Speaker 7: particularly the sort of gender bending stuff is a deliberate act,
- 30:39Speaker 7: he claims, by whoever's orchestrating, you know, the leftist movement
- 30:44Speaker 7: in this country, to divide people from who they really are.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Wow, I wish we had more time. This is fascinating.
- 30:50Speaker 2: We have to have your back and everybody go listen
- 30:52Speaker 2: to Miranda Divine's podcast. It's one of the best on earth.
- 30:56Speaker 2: That's called Podforce one Reader Calms and make sure you
- 30:59Speaker 2: get the book The Big Guy. Hey, Miranda Divine, great stuff,
- 31:03Speaker 2: thanks for being with us.
- 31:05Speaker 15: Thanks so much.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Matt right, take care. Yeah, we gotta get him on
- 31:08Speaker 2: the show. Doctor Keith Ablow, I love that guy. We'll
- 31:11Speaker 2: we'll get to the mayoral race in great detail coming
- 31:14Speaker 2: up for the next hour seven to ten wor.
- 31:17Speaker 7: Mister new yours, Mark Simone, You're the best seven ten wr.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Hey, we'll get to the mayoral race. We'll go over
- 31:26Speaker 2: all the latest. Let you know what's gonna happen this
- 31:28Speaker 2: coming week. This is going to be the biggest week
- 31:29Speaker 2: in the race. We'll get to that right after the
- 31:31Speaker 2: news here on seven to ten wor the Mark Simone
- 31:36Speaker 2: Show on seven ten wr Hey. It's just very strange.
- 31:42Speaker 2: You know, it's cold out, Hockey season started, football games
- 31:47Speaker 2: are on Thursday night and Monday night. It's just very strange.
- 31:49Speaker 2: It's really Oddumn. I can feel it now, and I
- 31:51Speaker 2: look every time you go in the store, first display,
- 31:54Speaker 2: you see Halloween candy everywhere. It's only a matter of time.
- 31:59Speaker 2: It's going to happen. Soon you're going to walk into
- 32:01Speaker 2: a store and there'll be some Christmas display there. It's
- 32:05Speaker 2: in fact, I just I just a friend of mine
- 32:07Speaker 2: just texted me from Paris. They're putting up Christmas lights
- 32:10Speaker 2: on the schells Lily right now as we speak. Walmart
- 32:14Speaker 2: is doing it already. But that's okay, that's okay. The
- 32:17Speaker 2: faster this happens, the quicker we get to spring. So
- 32:21Speaker 2: Columbus Day is Monday. This is a holiday that was
- 32:25Speaker 2: really on the outs for a while, but not now.
- 32:27Speaker 2: President Trump putting out a proclamation about Columbus Day is
- 32:30Speaker 2: going to make it a very big deal. Columbus Day
- 32:33Speaker 2: Parade will be here in New York on Monday. So
- 32:35Speaker 2: just remember that snarling up traffic all over Midtown on Monday.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Let's get to the mayoral race. New polling shows that
- 32:45Speaker 2: with Eric Adams dropping out of the race, Cuomo picks
- 32:48Speaker 2: up a few votes, about eighty percent more than I thought.
- 32:51Speaker 2: About eighty percent of the Adams vote has gone to Cuomo.
- 32:55Speaker 2: About twenty percent went to Mom Donnie. Now these polls
- 32:57Speaker 2: aren't that accurate, these are these dope college polls, but
- 33:01Speaker 2: it shows Cuomo picking up a little, but not enough
- 33:04Speaker 2: to really come close to Mom Donnie. Mom Donnie still
- 33:07Speaker 2: has a big lead. Curtis picked up a little. The
- 33:12Speaker 2: matching funds were handed out and matching funds yesterday. Cuomo
- 33:18Speaker 2: got almost two million in matching funds. That's from the
- 33:22Speaker 2: campaign finance Board. Curtis got a million four in matching funds.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Mom Donnie got I think a million two in matching funds.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Now Curtis has been spending money. I'll give them credit.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Those ads are all over the place. If you're watching
- 33:37Speaker 2: the Yankee playoff game, Curtis ran ads in the game.
- 33:40Speaker 2: If you're watching Good Day New York this morning, there
- 33:42Speaker 2: were ads for Curtis TV ads. Mom Donnie not doing
- 33:46Speaker 2: much advertising, but if he does, it's not TV, it's
- 33:50Speaker 2: social media. That's the most important battleground right now. Cuomo
- 33:55Speaker 2: doing a lot of interviews, and if you listen to
- 33:58Speaker 2: him in these interviews, the problem is he's awful in debates.
- 34:03Speaker 2: He's a terrible debater. He's slow, and he talks like this.
- 34:08Speaker 2: So I'm listening to some of these. He's done some
- 34:10Speaker 2: long interviews podcasts, radio shows, and if you listen to them,
- 34:16Speaker 2: you ask the guy a question and then he takes
- 34:19Speaker 2: a long time to answer and it's like a five
- 34:25Speaker 2: minute answer. He's great on a podcast podcast you got
- 34:28Speaker 2: to fill an hour. This guy's perfect. Ask him anything.
- 34:31Speaker 2: He talks for eight minutes with a talks slow, runs
- 34:35Speaker 2: down the clock. But you can't do that in a debate,
- 34:38Speaker 2: and you gotta be like Mam Donnie. In a debate,
- 34:40Speaker 2: you gotta be rapid fire like boom boom boom. You
- 34:42Speaker 2: hit the guy with stuff. And then they go to
- 34:43Speaker 2: Cuomo for response and he goes, mister mom, Donnie may
- 34:48Speaker 2: think that, And already the audience says, so he's not
- 34:53Speaker 2: good in the debate. Curtis is a great debater. Now
- 34:55Speaker 2: the big development, this is where the race will be decided.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Thursday night, the first Mayor Old debate. There'll be another
- 35:05Speaker 2: one six days later, but Thursday night, the first Mayor
- 35:09Speaker 2: Old debate that is coming Thursday night, it'll be Mamdanie'll
- 35:13Speaker 2: be he's good. Into the debate, he's very good. Curtis
- 35:15Speaker 2: will be very good. Curtis could hit him with a
- 35:18Speaker 2: knockout punch. You never know. Anything's possible. He may not,
- 35:20Speaker 2: but anything's possible. Cuomo will talk slow and it won't work,
- 35:26Speaker 2: and it'll look old and tired compared to these two.
- 35:31Speaker 2: And so if Curtis can land some blows and really
- 35:34Speaker 2: make a difference, that could turn the race around. Now
- 35:37Speaker 2: it's possible that Curtis is very good. But nothing changes.
- 35:41Speaker 2: And then now New York is famous. New York City
- 35:45Speaker 2: is famous for in its mayor all races. The whole
- 35:48Speaker 2: thing can change in the last couple of weeks. We've
- 35:50Speaker 2: seen that before many times in New York City, where
- 35:53Speaker 2: whatever race way, the race is added in the last
- 35:56Speaker 2: couple of weeks, it just all changes. It can all
- 35:58Speaker 2: change very fast New York City. I don't know exactly why,
- 36:02Speaker 2: but here is where that does happen. So it could
- 36:05Speaker 2: be the debate shakes everything up and things change. It
- 36:08Speaker 2: could be that nothing changes and then you're on track
- 36:12Speaker 2: to have a Mam Donnie victory. Cuomo we know is
- 36:15Speaker 2: not the one guy that can't beat mamdani is Cuomo.
- 36:19Speaker 2: We've seen it in the primary. He got just slapped
- 36:21Speaker 2: around by him in two debates. He lost by a
- 36:25Speaker 2: lot of votes in the primary. So Thursday night, if
- 36:28Speaker 2: anything's going to change, that's where it'll change. Now, Mam
- 36:34Speaker 2: Donnie's been doing a lot of interviews, and the other
- 36:35Speaker 2: thing is Mam Donnie's been sort of hedging. He normally
- 36:39Speaker 2: was given clear answers, but uh Buck Sexton texting with
- 36:45Speaker 2: we love Buck. Your Cuomo is excellent, Thank you very much.
- 36:52Speaker 2: You know, I'm listening to these radio interviews and here's
- 36:54Speaker 2: the other thing. You know, you're dealing with a weasel
- 36:57Speaker 2: when when they talk they ask them, so questions and
- 37:00Speaker 2: answer like, what about the nursing homes? Did you kill
- 37:04Speaker 2: ten thousand people? A lot of people ask me about
- 37:09Speaker 2: the nursing homes. Look, do I think I made a mistake? Maybe?
- 37:16Speaker 2: Do I think I might have done things differently? Maybe
- 37:19Speaker 2: he's been saying that a lot lately. First, he tried
- 37:22Speaker 2: this explanation about the nursing homes. It's the dumbest decision
- 37:26Speaker 2: ever in the history of decisions. Can you imagine people
- 37:30Speaker 2: have got the virus they just tested positive, you send
- 37:33Speaker 2: them into the nursing homes where these old, vulnerable people
- 37:36Speaker 2: are living. It was the dumbest thing ever. So he's
- 37:39Speaker 2: tried for the last week this explanation of well, other
- 37:44Speaker 2: states did it too, We're not the only plenty of
- 37:46Speaker 2: states did it. Yeah, but it wasn't the same and
- 37:51Speaker 2: it wasn't like this here. I mean, this was like,
- 37:54Speaker 2: you killed ten thousand people. The decision was genocidal. So
- 37:59Speaker 2: he's now doing this I wouldn't call it an apology. Look,
- 38:03Speaker 2: did I make a mistake, Would I do it differently? Maybe? Yes?
- 38:10Speaker 2: And he's doing this fudging thing where he says, look,
- 38:13Speaker 2: I still have nightmares at night. I can remember all
- 38:16Speaker 2: my conversations with those families, he says that a lot. Now,
- 38:21Speaker 2: in all my conversations with these families, I'd like to
- 38:25Speaker 2: find somebody. Please find one family that he had a
- 38:28Speaker 2: Yet there's no family that says they've ever had a
- 38:30Speaker 2: conversation with Cuomo. He's changed his tune on bail reform. Hey,
- 38:37Speaker 2: our friend Sid interviewed him this morning and Sid at
- 38:39Speaker 2: one point, good for Sid, he brought up Kathy Hokel.
- 38:44Speaker 2: You know, Kathy Holk has been a horrible governor, and
- 38:48Speaker 2: he said, she's terrible. You picked her. You're the one
- 38:51Speaker 2: that gave us Kathy Hokel, you know, the lieutenant governor.
- 38:54Speaker 2: You picked her. And Cuomo said, yeah, you re elected her.
- 39:00Speaker 2: So that's a good comeback, very snappy comeback. First time
- 39:04Speaker 2: history was made. Cuomo actually had a snappy comeback. But
- 39:07Speaker 2: he's going to get hit with all this stuff and
- 39:09Speaker 2: Curtis will pound away on him. So if anything's going
- 39:11Speaker 2: to change, it'll change thirsty.
- 39:13Speaker 11: Oh.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Now here's another factor with this peace agreement in the
- 39:17Speaker 2: Middle East. This affects the mayoral race. It's going to
- 39:20Speaker 2: affect a few elections around the country. A lot of
- 39:23Speaker 2: these races are all about how horrible israel Is and
- 39:27Speaker 2: Gaza people are starving, being slaught Well, now that that's over,
- 39:31Speaker 2: this kind of takes that issue off the table, and
- 39:34Speaker 2: it was a big one from Amdani. So he's going
- 39:36Speaker 2: to lose this issue. In fact, if he tries this again,
- 39:40Speaker 2: the suffering and the Palestinians, the suffering in Gaza, if
- 39:44Speaker 2: he tries pulling that you can point out, well, then
- 39:47Speaker 2: thank Trump, He's the one that solved the problem. He's
- 39:50Speaker 2: bringing that problem to a complete conclusion. And there's a
- 39:53Speaker 2: lot of governor's races for that. That's a big issue,
- 39:55Speaker 2: you know, Israel Palestine. So it's a tough thing peace
- 40:00Speaker 2: agreement because it's brilliant, it's wonderful, it's an amazing negotiation,
- 40:04Speaker 2: an amazing accomplishment by Trump. It's tough for the Democrats
- 40:07Speaker 2: because they have to actually try to say something nice.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Chuck Schumer White, I mean, so his glasses were flogging up,
- 40:14Speaker 2: but he had to say something.
- 40:15Speaker 9: If disagreement is implemented, then finally, after two years of
- 40:19Speaker 9: immense suffering, the hostages could soon be free. There could
- 40:24Speaker 9: be a ceasefire, and the victims of this painful conflict
- 40:28Speaker 9: can start to rebuild their lives.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Yeah, now they're waiting to see exactly how this unfolds,
- 40:35Speaker 2: it does actually work, So this weekend they can't really
- 40:38Speaker 2: go after the present because we don't know. We've got
- 40:40Speaker 2: to see will this really work? Will it be done?
- 40:44Speaker 2: So let's say it everything goes well. On the weekend,
- 40:47Speaker 2: Trump goes to Egypt, they make the deal, everything signed Monday,
- 40:50Speaker 2: they release the hostages Tuesday. There's a big ceremony for
- 40:54Speaker 2: the hostage. This will be great. Then it's the after
- 40:58Speaker 2: that the media has to try to figure out how
- 41:00Speaker 2: to attack Trump on this. They will find a way.
- 41:04Speaker 2: How will they attack them? I don't know. Well, maybe
- 41:06Speaker 2: listen to the Schumer thing again.
- 41:07Speaker 9: If disagreement is implemented, then finally after two years.
- 41:11Speaker 2: So maybe that'll be the attack line. If he could
- 41:13Speaker 2: do this, why didn't he do this two years ago?
- 41:15Speaker 2: Why did he wait two years to do this? They'll
- 41:17Speaker 2: try something like that. They'll try a few things to
- 41:19Speaker 2: see what sticks. Hey, Jimmy Kimmel's done a bunch of interviews. Kimmel,
- 41:25Speaker 2: he was on Bloomberg. So when it comes to the
- 41:28Speaker 2: big lie, he told that's how he got in all
- 41:30Speaker 2: the trouble. He lied about the Charlie kirkshooter, claiming it
- 41:33Speaker 2: was a maga guy. Total lie, total distortion, total fake news.
- 41:38Speaker 2: He can't admit that though he's on this Bloomberg interview
- 41:40Speaker 2: and he said, well, it was mischaracterized. I was distorted
- 41:44Speaker 2: what I said. Now we can see the clip. He
- 41:46Speaker 2: out and out lied. He deliberately lied on the show.
- 41:51Speaker 2: But he's mischaracterized a store. So he just won't give
- 41:55Speaker 2: in on this now. The other thing is he said
- 41:57Speaker 2: he would love to have Donald Trump on his show,
- 41:59Speaker 2: so he basically invited Trump to come on his show.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Now you might say, well, that's great, he should do that.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Trump would be great. He can handle Kimmel. This would
- 42:08Speaker 2: be he should definitely do well. He said. The problem is,
- 42:10Speaker 2: why would Kimmel do this, because in all the controversy
- 42:14Speaker 2: when he came back on the air, he got six
- 42:16Speaker 2: point five million viewers, not as usual one million. He
- 42:20Speaker 2: got six and a half million. He was suddenly number one,
- 42:23Speaker 2: He suddenly had great ratings. Well, it took a few days,
- 42:26Speaker 2: but it quickly went back to one million. He lost
- 42:28Speaker 2: the whole bounce that he got. He lost it all
- 42:31Speaker 2: and went back to his miserable ratings. So that's why
- 42:34Speaker 2: he wants to have Trump on, because then he could
- 42:36Speaker 2: go to twenty million or what's the all time record
- 42:40Speaker 2: late night television. I think it was Johnny Carson Tiny
- 42:45Speaker 2: Tim's wedding nineteen sixty nine that went to forty nine million.
- 42:50Speaker 2: That's the all time record for a late night show.
- 42:52Speaker 2: He thinks he could do that with Trump. So if Trump,
- 42:56Speaker 2: you know, he'd want to do it, but he wouldn't.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Why help Kimmel, Why help Kimmel. So he should say
- 43:03Speaker 2: to him, I'll do an interview with you, but let's
- 43:07Speaker 2: do it on Sean Hannity Show. Let's do it on
- 43:12Speaker 2: Let's do it on Fallon, give fallon the ratings. But
- 43:15Speaker 2: we'll see if anything comes to that invitation. Hey, a
- 43:19Speaker 2: lot of people in the center are going to be
- 43:20Speaker 2: suing Jack Smith, that bug eyed weirdo with the cape.
- 43:25Speaker 2: You know, he got their phone records, their phone calls.
- 43:28Speaker 2: But turning out, he got a lot of stuff. He
- 43:30Speaker 2: went into everybody's phone, got their GPS. He can see
- 43:34Speaker 2: everywhere they went, everywhere they went. You know, I'll see
- 43:40Speaker 2: you go into your iPhone. There's a lot of stuff
- 43:42Speaker 2: in there. There's got medical records. Most people have their medications.
- 43:44Speaker 2: There's all kinds of personal information in there, so they're
- 43:47Speaker 2: going to sue this guy like crazy. He's speaking of
- 43:51Speaker 2: medical You know a lot of people love taking ozempic.
- 43:54Speaker 2: There's three of them. There's a Let's the other one
- 43:56Speaker 2: Manjaro's Zeppa. There's like a bunch of these. The problem
- 44:01Speaker 2: is ozampic. You get what's called ozempic face. It starts
- 44:04Speaker 2: looking old, your face looks old, and it starts sagging
- 44:07Speaker 2: it you get they call it ozempic face. Now d
- 44:10Speaker 2: disappointing out. You'd get ozempic teeth. It plays around with
- 44:14Speaker 2: the healthier teeth and your gums. Now, apparently there's another
- 44:17Speaker 2: discovery they've just come up with. If you're on ozampic
- 44:21Speaker 2: and then you need medical imaging, you know, a cat scan,
- 44:24Speaker 2: an MRI, it can distort the results and give you
- 44:27Speaker 2: false results and you can get misdiagnosed with a long
- 44:32Speaker 2: explanation as to why. Too complicated. But that's another problem
- 44:36Speaker 2: to ozambic. Hey, oh, hey, a great a great guy
- 44:40Speaker 2: died yesterday, Shelley Fireman. He was one of the great
- 44:44Speaker 2: restaurant tours in New York. He was ninety three. Right
- 44:48Speaker 2: over there, he tried to read de Larte. That was
- 44:50Speaker 2: one of his restaurants, Red Eye Grill, Fiorilla, right across
- 44:54Speaker 2: from Lincoln Center. Through the years, Bond forty five in
- 44:57Speaker 2: the theater discre This guy was a great restaurant owner,
- 45:00Speaker 2: a very colorful guy in real life. And I'm leaving
- 45:04Speaker 2: that there's a bunch of restaurants he owned. Ninety three
- 45:07Speaker 2: just died yesterday, but I saw him not long ago.
- 45:10Speaker 2: He was in the restaurant holding a meeting, working at
- 45:12Speaker 2: ninety three infect fifty seventh three. He just opened this
- 45:15Speaker 2: new restaurant, the Paris Bistro, Paris Bar, whatever it's called.
- 45:19Speaker 2: But he's ninety two opening a brand new restaurant. That's
- 45:24Speaker 2: the way you gotta be. Cape working, never stop. Hey,
- 45:27Speaker 2: when we come back, we'll take some calls. Eight hundred
- 45:30Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten is the number eight
- 45:34Speaker 2: hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
- 45:36Speaker 10: If you're listening to Mark on the iHeartRadio app, save
- 45:39Speaker 10: time and tap the preset button.
- 45:41Speaker 2: Now.
- 45:42Speaker 10: Now back to the Mark Simonde Show on woor.
- 45:47Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave,
- 45:51Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 45:53Speaker 14: Good morning, Mark, I'm doing very well, Thank you.
- 45:55Speaker 7: Mark.
- 45:55Speaker 14: I have a proposition that I think would be best
- 45:58Speaker 14: suited for Allen's Wide Bell in your next interview, and
- 46:02Speaker 14: it has to do with writing scripts for television. Now,
- 46:05Speaker 14: the major networks ABC, NBC, CBS, et cetera, they restrict
- 46:10Speaker 14: time and scripts because they have to allow for commercials. Yeah,
- 46:14Speaker 14: canals such as HBO, you know they run shows like this.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Well, it's the proposal.
- 46:20Speaker 14: Well, they vary in length and they can include profanity
- 46:24Speaker 14: and nudities. So essentially, for writers, is the easier to write.
- 46:28Speaker 2: Oh that's a good question. Yeah, we'll ask them that
- 46:29Speaker 2: next time. You know, in the old days of the fifties,
- 46:32Speaker 2: I love Lucy the Honeymooners. When you wrote the script
- 46:35Speaker 2: for the sitcom, it was about I think it was
- 46:39Speaker 2: twenty four minutes because they had to leave six minutes
- 46:42Speaker 2: for commercials during the half hour. Do you know that
- 46:45Speaker 2: by these Seinfeld days it was down to like sixteen
- 46:48Speaker 2: minutes because they kept adding and and adding commercials, So
- 46:52Speaker 2: a sitcom script was really only about sixteen seventeen minutes.
- 46:56Speaker 2: Now it's kind of different because the television is dying.
- 46:59Speaker 2: There's very few view is left on television primetime even primetime,
- 47:03Speaker 2: so it's less commercial, so the scripts are probably getting longer.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Now let's go to Rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich how
- 47:08Speaker 2: you doing.
- 47:10Speaker 15: Thanks thanks to Mark. That's a good point he just
- 47:13Speaker 15: brought up to go fellow from Chicago. I mean, just
- 47:15Speaker 15: think about how they will four complete stories for four
- 47:18Speaker 15: characters in fifteen or sixteen minutes. Really was unbelievable. You know,
- 47:21Speaker 15: I got a lot of joy, you say, watching Martha Radish,
- 47:24Speaker 15: that old hag. Have to actually give Donald credit some
- 47:27Speaker 15: Donald Trump some credit, and it's going to by the
- 47:29Speaker 15: time he's done, he's going to deserve that last space
- 47:32Speaker 15: of Mount Rushmore. Never mind the Nobel Peace Prize. Put
- 47:34Speaker 15: him on the mountain. Yeah, that's president we.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Ever had all right knowing him. Apparently you can't put
- 47:41Speaker 2: somebody on Mount Rushmore. They keep explaining to you. Who knows,
- 47:44Speaker 2: Maybe it's just partisan nonsense, that the the rock you
- 47:48Speaker 2: can't you can't carve anything. Knowing Trump, he'll start a
- 47:55Speaker 2: second Mount Rushmore somewhere else. He'll do a second Mount Rushmore.
- 47:59Speaker 2: He'll put Reagan, he'll put himself. Actually a good idea,
- 48:04Speaker 2: actually a good idea second Mount Rushmore. Let's go to
- 48:07Speaker 2: Pat in Westchester. Pat, how are you doing?
- 48:09Speaker 12: Hey?
- 48:09Speaker 8: Mark?
- 48:10Speaker 16: You have terrific guests on you have each week, Liz Peak,
- 48:15Speaker 16: Miranda Divine. The one thing that you were talking about
- 48:19Speaker 16: Trump derangement syndrome. And I think some of it could
- 48:22Speaker 16: be jealousy if you look at that he has a
- 48:25Speaker 16: beautiful wife, he's amassed billions of dollars in wealth, and
- 48:30Speaker 16: he's a national icon and you know, a world icon.
- 48:33Speaker 16: So it could be in a jealousy.
- 48:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think it's jealous so much because you
- 48:36Speaker 2: look at these Trump haters. There are all these old
- 48:38Speaker 2: hag women that live on the Upper West Side. They
- 48:40Speaker 2: don't want to be in a glitzy Trump Tower apartment.
- 48:43Speaker 2: They don't want to be married to a supermodel there.
- 48:46Speaker 2: I think Miranda Divine, if you didn't hear last hour,
- 48:48Speaker 2: it was fascinating. Will follow up on this. She's been
- 48:52Speaker 2: talking to a psychiatrist like doctor Keith Ablow, and it's
- 48:57Speaker 2: daddy issues. It's a super strong, forceful, dominant male that
- 49:03Speaker 2: they can't stand. And if you look back on presidents,
- 49:10Speaker 2: first of all, you have to put on this fake
- 49:12Speaker 2: formality and Pa, you can't just you know, be an
- 49:15Speaker 2: outrageous kind of guy like Trump is. You can't in
- 49:19Speaker 2: real life. That's where it comes. But could she might
- 49:23Speaker 2: have put her finger on it. You know, every great politician,
- 49:25Speaker 2: no matter how strong and they are, of great presidents
- 49:28Speaker 2: Bill Clinton, they show a lot of vulnerability and the humbleness.
- 49:33Speaker 2: And George Bush could look very vulnerable at times and humble.
- 49:37Speaker 2: And Obama, yeah he could look humble at times and
- 49:43Speaker 2: show some vulnerability and self deprecating and all that. But
- 49:48Speaker 2: they all could do that, but not Trump. There's no
- 49:51Speaker 2: vulnerability anywhere. It's like the roughest, toughest, strongest, most masculine, dominating.
- 49:58Speaker 2: It just sets off those women. They can't deal with it.
- 50:01Speaker 2: Let's go to Alan Yonkers Al, how you doing.
- 50:05Speaker 12: Good?
- 50:06Speaker 8: Mark?
- 50:06Speaker 13: Thanks for taking my call. You know, I just wanted
- 50:08Speaker 13: your personal opinion. You know, I saw Mike Lawler when
- 50:11Speaker 13: he stopped the minority leader Jefferies, and not that it
- 50:17Speaker 13: was a political stunt. I just thought it was inappropriate
- 50:21Speaker 13: because of security reasons. As you know, the minority leader
- 50:24Speaker 13: being in the leadership has Secret Service protection, and I
- 50:28Speaker 13: just started put the Secret Service in uncomfortable positions.
- 50:31Speaker 2: Yeah, would you agree or do There's no security problem.
- 50:34Speaker 2: They can protect them but what it was is, you
- 50:36Speaker 2: know how always tell you don't argue with Democrats. If
- 50:39Speaker 2: you got a friend who hates don't argue because it'll
- 50:41Speaker 2: be like that lawler Jeffrey's conversation. You're just yelling at
- 50:44Speaker 2: each other for twenty minutes. You're not going to change
- 50:47Speaker 2: their mind. Don't even bother. It's like arguing with a statue.
- 50:51Speaker 2: I mean, don't bother. Don't argue with him. So when
- 50:54Speaker 2: they say to it happens to me all the time.
- 50:57Speaker 2: I was with this group of an entertainment business people
- 51:01Speaker 2: and one of them says, this is the worst nightmare
- 51:04Speaker 2: we've ever lived through this Trump. I can't sleep at night.
- 51:08Speaker 2: And it looked at me and go, yeah, me too,
- 51:10Speaker 2: me too. Just yes, I'm to death. Change the subject,
- 51:13Speaker 2: get out of there. Don't even try to argue with them,
- 51:17Speaker 2: whatever they think. Just let it go. Hey, today would
- 51:21Speaker 2: have been John Lennon's eighty fifth birthday. It would have
- 51:24Speaker 2: been eighty five today. You know, it's interesting some people
- 51:29Speaker 2: you just never saw them get old. A lot of them,
- 51:32Speaker 2: you see. You know Billy Joel, you see him now.
- 51:36Speaker 2: You wouldn't if you came in a time machine. From
- 51:38Speaker 2: nineteen seventy eight to now, you wouldn't recognize Billy Joel's.
- 51:41Speaker 2: It did totally different looking. McCartney obviously looks his age,
- 51:46Speaker 2: well not really, but he looks older, but he still
- 51:48Speaker 2: looks like McCartney, still sounds like McCartney. But if you
- 51:52Speaker 2: die young, people never see you age. It's like Jack Kennedy,
- 51:56Speaker 2: John F. Kennedy. We always see him as young, dynamic president.
- 52:00Speaker 2: We never saw him get like Ted Kennedy, old and
- 52:02Speaker 2: plump and boom. So John Lennon would have been eighty
- 52:06Speaker 2: five years old today. Hey, when we come back, Ed
- 52:08Speaker 2: Rollins will be with us. The greatest political analyst, the
- 52:11Speaker 2: Dean himself. We'll talk to him next on seven to
- 52:14Speaker 2: ten wo R.
- 52:16Speaker 1: Mark Simone on seven w R.
- 52:23Speaker 2: Well, let's talk to the Dean himself, the best political
- 52:26Speaker 2: analyst of all. Nobody has run more campaigns, more successful
- 52:31Speaker 2: campaigns than he has. Ed Rollins is with us, Ed Rollins,
- 52:35Speaker 2: how you doing doing well?
- 52:37Speaker 11: Thank you? Monarch Tivy going on the world.
- 52:39Speaker 2: So this piece deal, if all goes according to plan
- 52:43Speaker 2: and it happens, what will the Democrats do? How are
- 52:45Speaker 2: they attack him on this?
- 52:47Speaker 11: Well, they won't be a attack on this they basically
- 52:50Speaker 11: have to plaud and I think the world is starting
- 52:52Speaker 11: to plaud completely. This will not happen if he had
- 52:55Speaker 11: to stepped in and pushed BB to the to the wall.
- 53:00Speaker 11: And I think it's a certain extent you've read that
- 53:02Speaker 11: argue about the stupidity of who got the Nobel Peace
- 53:05Speaker 11: Prize today. If this thing works, he's going to be
- 53:08Speaker 11: the one unanimously a year from now, the Peace Prize nominees.
- 53:14Speaker 11: He's supposed to be in by February. He was barely
- 53:16Speaker 11: president at the time. And I think this certain extent,
- 53:20Speaker 11: don't let the ediocy of the Peace Prize overshadow what
- 53:23Speaker 11: he's done. He's made this happen. He's about these forces
- 53:27Speaker 11: have been fighting, he said this for thousands of years together,
- 53:29Speaker 11: and he has to make it work now.
- 53:31Speaker 2: So yeah, now, I know he's got a lot to do,
- 53:33Speaker 2: but I think he should also take up another task,
- 53:37Speaker 2: which is just wipe out this reputation of this Nobel
- 53:39Speaker 2: Peace Prize. It's a Democrat peace prize. It's a left
- 53:42Speaker 2: wing slanted I don't know how they still have this reputation,
- 53:45Speaker 2: but Donald Trump should try to take away that reputation
- 53:48Speaker 2: from don't you think well, I think.
- 53:49Speaker 11: I think he probably will. I mean, who cares. Being
- 53:52Speaker 11: perfectly honest, you know, Jimmy Carter got it after he
- 53:56Speaker 11: was president, ten years after he left. Obama got it
- 54:01Speaker 11: before he really was president. You got you got the
- 54:03Speaker 11: peace Ward, and everybody said it was just because he
- 54:05Speaker 11: got elected. Uh, you know three months into his administration.
- 54:09Speaker 11: So the last American who really got to the deserved
- 54:11Speaker 11: was Jeddy Roosevelt Trump to stop the war.
- 54:16Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, the New Jersey race, it's Chindarelli against what's
- 54:20Speaker 2: the named Mickey Mikey Sheryl. They got in a big
- 54:22Speaker 2: fight and the she accused him of this and that
- 54:24Speaker 2: he's now says he's gonna sue her. Have you ever
- 54:27Speaker 2: heard of that one candidate suing another because of what
- 54:29Speaker 2: they said in the debate.
- 54:33Speaker 11: And you know the problem with sus is that people
- 54:36Speaker 11: find out, you know, once you get beyond the rhetoric
- 54:39Speaker 11: of the initial case, then you have discovery and all
- 54:42Speaker 11: the rest of it. Then you know, her her counter
- 54:44Speaker 11: claim is going to be how did he how did
- 54:46Speaker 11: he get her federal documents that he shouldn't have had,
- 54:49Speaker 11: so you know, argue about the things about it. People
- 54:52Speaker 11: went to New Jersey and where she graduated in her class.
- 54:56Speaker 11: But there's circumstances work. She's a member of Congress, that
- 55:00Speaker 11: a lot of the ideas that probably won't work, and
- 55:02Speaker 11: he's got a lot of ideas that are going to
- 55:04Speaker 11: be challenged. And that's what the campaign will be about.
- 55:07Speaker 8: Race though.
- 55:09Speaker 2: Hey, a lot of these campaigns around the mayoral race
- 55:11Speaker 2: with Mondani and some of these governors race. A big
- 55:13Speaker 2: issue is Gaza, the treatment of the people in Gaza
- 55:16Speaker 2: Palestine's if this peace deal goes through, They're going to
- 55:19Speaker 2: lose that issue for the final weeks, aren't they.
- 55:21Speaker 11: They are going to lose that issue, and hopefully there's
- 55:24Speaker 11: not lot other issues to come to the forefront. Uh,
- 55:27Speaker 11: there's a lot, a lot of plays right now in
- 55:28Speaker 11: the course system. Uh, Portland, the Chicago they putting troops around,
- 55:34Speaker 11: and the Supreme Court obviously back on the game again.
- 55:36Speaker 11: So uh, you know what you want no want to
- 55:38Speaker 11: do is you don't want to have these things faltered on.
- 55:41Speaker 11: You make sure that everything you're doing is the coordination.
- 55:45Speaker 11: And as you've heard me over and over again, I'm
- 55:47Speaker 11: a great believer in messages. And you have too many
- 55:50Speaker 11: things on the turny. Uh, just considered, lay your message
- 55:56Speaker 11: down right now. But getting the government back functioning again
- 55:59Speaker 11: is what's the most important. The president can stop that
- 56:04Speaker 11: or start that. But if you start having trouble with planes,
- 56:07Speaker 11: he starts having trouble with soldiers not getting paid, then
- 56:11Speaker 11: you really have a big issue.
- 56:13Speaker 2: Yeah, Hey, the Mayrill race, the big debate is coming
- 56:16Speaker 2: up Thursday. Now, let's say Curtis just hits mom down
- 56:19Speaker 2: and would knockout blows unbelievable moments they go viral? Could
- 56:22Speaker 2: that change the race?
- 56:25Speaker 11: Anybody watches it?
- 56:26Speaker 2: Well, it's social media. It could go viral all over
- 56:29Speaker 2: the place. It's possible it.
- 56:30Speaker 11: Will go it will go back that. But nobody watches
- 56:35Speaker 11: these debates anymore. And it's just the number of the
- 56:38Speaker 11: numbers in New Jersey debates this week and Virginua urdle,
- 56:41Speaker 11: and but social media does play mid Molly, and Curtis
- 56:45Speaker 11: has to make the case. You know, he's serving the
- 56:48Speaker 11: factory at this point, being a loyal candidate. Calmo got
- 56:53Speaker 11: all of Adams, but he has to. He's still thirteen
- 56:56Speaker 11: fourteen points a hime, which is a pretty good place
- 56:59Speaker 11: to be. And tell the problems Mondali's getting. You take
- 57:05Speaker 11: people under fifty you've got to majory of that vote.
- 57:07Speaker 11: He's got a majority of the Asian voters, Black voters,
- 57:10Speaker 11: which almost strongst and so my senses, he's still I'd
- 57:15Speaker 11: much rather have his campaign if I was in the campaign,
- 57:18Speaker 11: I don't want to run a socialist campaign. But but
- 57:20Speaker 11: he's still pretty well positioned.
- 57:22Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, now you've been the.
- 57:24Speaker 11: Best erratic something dramatic as to happen.
- 57:26Speaker 2: You've been the best campaign consultant for years if you
- 57:28Speaker 2: were working for Cuomo, wouldn't you say, I don't know
- 57:30Speaker 2: how you say it, but when you say to them, hey,
- 57:31Speaker 2: you got to talk a little faster, You got to
- 57:33Speaker 2: be able to have a little more energy, you look tired,
- 57:35Speaker 2: wouldn't Could you tell him that.
- 57:37Speaker 11: I've been terribly disappointed in the campaign. As I told you,
- 57:40Speaker 11: I'm not a Cuomo fan, but i'm just as an
- 57:43Speaker 11: observer at this point in time. I've seen one ad,
- 57:46Speaker 11: I've seen dozens of ads sort of mundabi, and you know,
- 57:52Speaker 11: I don't see any ground game as though it was
- 57:54Speaker 11: no Democratic Party operators that have been worked for him
- 57:57Speaker 11: at this point. Cuomo, and to a certain extent, how
- 58:01Speaker 11: do you win?
- 58:02Speaker 8: Uh?
- 58:03Speaker 11: You wing by being out there and being domatics, and
- 58:05Speaker 11: I'll say, you know, he's he's my father did, He's
- 58:08Speaker 11: what I did and now just more. But that's not
- 58:10Speaker 11: acceptable today. It's got a fifty two percent to some
- 58:13Speaker 11: Google reading. He's got to do something, bring it down.
- 58:15Speaker 11: He's got to do something. The verse the.
- 58:19Speaker 2: You know.
- 58:20Speaker 11: But I think he's the only one that obviously he
- 58:21Speaker 11: is liliable at this point in time.
- 58:23Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, we were talking before Miranda Divine and she's
- 58:26Speaker 2: been talking to psychologists. This Trump hatred, the people that
- 58:30Speaker 2: hate Trump. It's like a raging so psychiatrist said, it's
- 58:34Speaker 2: it's like a daddy issue. It's like he's too tough,
- 58:37Speaker 2: he's too masculine, he's too he shows no vulnerability anywhere. Ever.
- 58:42Speaker 2: It's too much. But what do you think.
- 58:46Speaker 11: I think there's some truth that I mean there is.
- 58:47Speaker 11: There is a polarization, and it doesn't matter what he does.
- 58:51Speaker 11: He doesn't get any of those years back. And he's done.
- 58:55Speaker 11: He's been a very strong president. He's done a lot.
- 59:00Speaker 11: And then if you look at a just permierum a
- 59:02Speaker 11: progress in six seven months, he's made tremendous progress. He's
- 59:07Speaker 11: definitely defined redefine the president's rule. I mean he's the
- 59:11Speaker 11: elvist president for in history. Yeah, and people won't even
- 59:14Speaker 11: credit for it.
- 59:16Speaker 2: Well, Ed Rollins, Uh, but you know every present, even
- 59:20Speaker 2: Nixon would show vulnerability. He would also you'd see him bowling,
- 59:22Speaker 2: you see him with the kids. He was like an
- 59:24Speaker 2: all American father. Trump does none of that. Do you
- 59:27Speaker 2: think he should do that, try to look more humble normal?
- 59:31Speaker 11: I think a little hell, he would be a great
- 59:33Speaker 11: asset for him. I think a certain extent he's too
- 59:36Speaker 11: angry and he has too many, too many enemies that
- 59:40Speaker 11: he wants to take out. At this point in time,
- 59:42Speaker 11: he got to just be do it quietly, do it
- 59:44Speaker 11: pint the scenes, and just get out there and talk
- 59:47Speaker 11: about what I've done for the country, what I'm going
- 59:48Speaker 11: to continue to do for the country, and what I'm
- 59:50Speaker 11: going to do for the world. I mean, he's the
- 59:52Speaker 11: strongest leader in the world war today. In my sensus,
- 59:55Speaker 11: he gets is just distractions going and I think he's set.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: All right, Well you tell him. I'm not gonna tell.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: But Ed Rollins, great, talking to you, great stuff, Keep
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: up the good work. Thanks for being with us, all right,
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: take care hey, Coming up at twelve noon, buck Sexton
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Clay Travis. They do an excellent show every day. It's
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: from noon to three then three o'clock. He got the
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: most listened to radio show in America. Sean Hannity, Jesse
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: Kelly's on every night at six and now Jimmy Fallon
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: every night nine to midnight. Excellent show, very funny. You
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: love Jimmy Fayler. They say Fallon, Jimmy Fayla, Jimmy Fallon
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: wouldn't be so hot. But it's Jimmy Fayler, who's much
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: funnier than Jimmy Fallon. Great comedian, great talk show hosts.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: But it's every weeknight. You can hear it tonight nine
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: to midnight, right here on seven to ten. Wor Mister
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: New York Marcalone on wre Well. Hey, you know we're
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: talking about the New Jersey governor's race, Chitarelli versus Mikey Cheryl.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: You know they've spent seventy two million dollars already on
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: this governor's race. Seventy two million. I think that's an
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: all time record in New Jersey governor's race. So hey,
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: you're talking before about Jimmy Kimmel has said he would
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: love to have President Trump on his show. Now, the
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: problem is if Trump does that, it'll get record ratings.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: Kimmel's show is very low rated, usually in third place.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: Why give him such big ratings? And then they said,
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: I think the biggest ratings in the history of Late
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Night was Tiny Tim's wedding nineteen sixty nine. The Tonight Show.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: They've got forty nine million people, forty nine million on
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: the Tonight Show. But it turns out the record is
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: was actually Carson's final show when he signed off in
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: nineteen ninety two. That got fifty five million people. Fifty
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: five million. Think about that, fifty five million watching Carson
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: sign off and Seth Meyers now with the five hundred
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: thousand people or Jimmy Kimmel number one with one point
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: two million people. Times have changed. Hey, we're out of time,
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: but I'll be back Monday ten to noon. Hey, if
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: you're a podcast listener, you listen to podcast on the weekends,
