- 0:00Every one ounce of physical silver, there are 250 ounces of
- 0:04paper silver circulating in a myriad of different financial
- 0:09products. Do you think the price of silver
- 0:15should be 250 times higher? Yes, that's right.
- 0:20This here, one ounce of silver worth 250 times more than where
- 0:27the price sits right now. Today at $20, we have an article
- 0:32from a gentleman named Laura Moore Wilson where he puts force
- 0:37the argument, the thesis, the idea that maybe, just maybe,
- 0:42silver should be substantially higher in price than where it is
- 0:47right now. Let's dig into this article
- 0:50together and see what we think he says this If the price of
- 0:58silver were based directly on the real physical market,
- 1:01Silver's price would be at $5000 an ounce.
- 1:06Now, in his defense, he goes on to say I'm not saying the price
- 1:10of silver will reach $5000 an ounce.
- 1:13I'm just saying that the actual physical silver spot price is
- 1:18not only extremely undervalued, but that it's an illusion
- 1:24compared to the real value of an ounce of physical silver since
- 1:29it is totally disconnected from reality.
- 1:33Let's explain further, says physical verse paper market
- 1:37difference. The actual spot price for silver
- 1:40has no real value, and it's not legitimate when we seriously
- 1:44compare the real physical silver market to the paper market and
- 1:50its myriad of financial derivatives.
- 1:53So he cites some data from Bloomberg here, which says that
- 1:58the size of the global annual silver market is equal to $5
- 2:04trillion. And he also cites that the
- 2:08silver mining industry and recycling efforts produce about
- 2:131 billion ounces of silver per year.
- 2:17Remember those two numbers? Because at 1 billion ounces of
- 2:21silver being supplied to the market every year, that means
- 2:25about $20 billion worth of silver are available, he says.
- 2:32Bloomberg's 5 trillion number represents the entirety of the
- 2:37paper silver market, The Unicorn fart dust, the make believe
- 2:41electronic made-up fake silver including all paper financial
- 2:47products, certificates, options, ETF's, etc.
- 2:50Derived from the real physical market.
- 2:55And remember that real physical market is about 1 billion oz a
- 3:00year, about $20 billion total. At current spot prices, he
- 3:06argues, this creates 250 to 1 leverage first.
- 3:13Mining Gold is a development company advancing 2 of the
- 3:16largest. Gold projects in Canada, Spring
- 3:19Pole in Ontario and Duparquet located.
- 3:22In Quebec, each. Already has 5 million ounces of
- 3:26gold reserves, but. Exploration initiatives are
- 3:30underway at both projects to find even more gold.
- 3:34First, mining is well financed, has zero debt and owns an
- 3:38interest in four additional Canadian gold development
- 3:42projects. That's the ratio between the
- 3:44paper market and the physical silver market, meaning that for
- 3:48everyone ounce of physical silver, there are 250 ounces of
- 3:53paper silver circulating in a myriad of different financial
- 3:58products. In other words, only one
- 4:00contract or certificate issued out of every 250 could be
- 4:06convertible into physical silver.
- 4:09That creates this leverage of 250 to one.
- 4:15If now, as regulation agencies are claiming, the world is going
- 4:19to move back to a more physical market, the Eastern countries,
- 4:23the BRICS countries, as you know, are arguing for that, that
- 4:27could put real pressure on the electronic markets.
- 4:31If people start to say, hey, you know what, this certificate I
- 4:34have this option, I have this futures contract I have, all of
- 4:39which are legally obligated to deliver physical metal.
- 4:44If people said I actually want my metal, it could create a
- 4:48massive, massive issue, we could say for the silver price, which
- 4:54could only be corrected by a significantly higher price than
- 5:00what we have right now, he says. Let's hypothesize what the
- 5:04silver price would be directly based on the physical silver
- 5:09market. Today.
- 5:10The actual size of the silver market again, is five trillion.
- 5:155 trillion divided by the 20 billion, which is the value of
- 5:20the actual physical market, equals that 250 to 1 leverage if
- 5:26you multiply that 250 to 1 leverage by the current spot
- 5:31price of silver. That's how our friend Laura
- 5:34Moore comes up with $5000, Silver says.
- 5:39Every investor holding silver in the form of financial products
- 5:44without the possibility of verifying that the physical
- 5:47existence of their investment should ask the question as to
- 5:51what will happen when more holders of those electronic
- 5:56products, those derivative products, ask for physical
- 6:00delivery, he says. In reality, we already know what
- 6:04will happen because one of the large banks from the
- 6:06Netherlands, A/B and Amro, already defaulted a little more
- 6:12than a year ago on its gold certificates by settling
- 6:16customers in cash. That will be the only option if
- 6:19everybody that holds one of these 250 claims on each one
- 6:26real physical ounce of silver were to claim their their silver
- 6:31want delivery, they would have to settle in cash, but it would
- 6:35be at a much, much higher silver price than where we are right
- 6:40now. All of this seems to be coming
- 6:43to a head when I read things like this and again, he's not
- 6:47saying that we're going to have $5000 silver by next month or
- 6:51next week, but it points out the gross manipulation that we're
- 6:56experiencing right now in the physical silver price.
- 7:00Hey, if you want to get your hands on some silver before,
- 7:03maybe I don't have a crystal ball.
- 7:05But I can say maybe we could find ourselves in a situation
- 7:09where everyone does want their silver and then there's none to
- 7:13be had. If you want to get some now,
- 7:15check out Pin Becks. That's where I buy my silver.
- 7:18They were actually recommended to me by several of our
- 7:22subscribers almost six months ago.
- 7:25I did my own due diligence. I came to the conclusion that I
- 7:29thought they were trustworthy, that they had the best prices,
- 7:32and I was overwhelmed with their great service.
- 7:35I think you will be too, but I want you to check it out for
- 7:39yourself. Bimbex, Pi MB, E, x.com their
- 7:44sponsor arounds basement. They make videos like this
- 7:48possible. So when we get into this
- 7:50scenario where the actual physical market overwhelms the
- 7:55electronic market, a lot of people have been calling for it
- 7:59for many many years but eventually it will happen.
- 8:04I want you to remember one rule of the world, one of those
- 8:08permanent rules of this world that we live in.
- 8:11Mother Nature always wins. Market forces always prevail.
- 8:17And when the physical market we know silver, we know gold, for
- 8:20that matter. To have always been the base of
- 8:24money supply, you can only manipulate natural forces for so
- 8:29long. When price discovery truly
- 8:32happens in the silver market, I think we'll have astronomically
- 8:37higher prices. I won't say $5000.
- 8:40You never know guys, with what might happen with the dollar, we
- 8:44could see 50,000 or $50 million silver.
- 8:47What really matters is the real value of the metal.
- 8:52What can you convert it into that it is of value and of use
- 8:59to you? That'll be the true litmus test
- 9:02that we'll have When it comes to the value of the metals and
- 9:05silver, you know, you hear people like Raffi Farber talk
- 9:09about the possibility that at some point you could trade,
- 9:13convert 100 ounces of silver for a nice little house.
- 9:17You could trade convert, let's say 5 ounces of silver for a
- 9:22functioning good car. We never know what windows of
- 9:27opportunity might open. In the interim, I'm happy
- 9:30holding on to silver just knowing that at minimum, at
- 9:34absolute minimum, it will maintain its value over the
- 9:39years, over the decades, over the centuries.
- 9:42Because I need they don't look no further back than 2000 years
- 9:47for proof that that's the case. Hey, thanks for joining me here
- 9:50in the basement. If you enjoy your time here, go
- 9:52watch a live stream and I'll see you soon.
