- 1:11[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, we're here for our this week's episode, and we're going to talk about the move we're going to preview.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_00]: I'll let Chris lead us on that one.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: So coming out this week, there's quite a few movies.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_01]: A couple of them are an extended release.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll just mention them kind of briefly.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: You may or may not be able to see these in your area.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: Deadman's wire and Charlie of the Wonder Dog.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_01]: Deadman's wire is actually one of the movies that we're going to review for next week.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: So again, if it's not available in your area this weekend, we apologize it is on extended release, which means that eventually it'll probably go into a more mainstream.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_01]: type release.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_01]: And after watching the preview, I think it'll get there.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe not this weekend, but probably next weekend for sure.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: But available everywhere is 28 years later, the bone temple.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're a big 28 years fan, well, has nothing to do with that.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway,
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the movies have nothing to do with.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, never mind.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_01]: They're horror movies in a sense.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it was very rough.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: And then also, available nationwide, well, I guess, worldwide, as far as, if you have Netflix, is a movie called The Rip, or the RIP, as they like to call it, which features some very well-known actors.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_01]: been paired together before, they kind of got their start together, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, they did.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's a story of a group of Miami cops who who's trust begins to fray after to discover millions and cash in a derelict stash house.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_01]: It looks kind of interesting.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_01]: I might watch it as well and then give you kind of my take on it so you might get a two-fer next week.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see, but that's what it's moving.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_01]: It is Netflix, it is Netflix,
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: But deadman's wires in the movie that we're going to review next week stars Bill Skarsguard Al Pacino Who looks like he's playing kind of a smaller role.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he's kind of short
- 3:07[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I guess we'll go ahead.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's not where I was going with that.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, carry rules, carry, carry, elves, how do you say that?
- 3:15[SPEAKER_00]: Well, here's the weird thing.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: I've always called them carry rules from process bride and rubber human entice, but he was on.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_00]: Good morning, America.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: This week promoting this movie.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_00]: And they introduced him as carry, Elis.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_00]: Oh.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know now what to call them other than carry.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_00]: But yes, he asked me to call him Bobby.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_01]: We'll call him the guy from Manhattan, Ron, Robin Hood, Men and Tights.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, and Prince is right.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this story, Dead Man's, or this show movie, Dead Man's Wire is a true story about the 1977 kidnapping that made aspiring Indianapolis entrepreneur Tony Kritzis into a eccentric outlaw folk hero.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_01]: It looks pretty interesting.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_01]: The previews look pretty good and like I said, stick around for next weeks episode and we'll give you our full review of that.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_01]: However, this episode, this time, we are reviewing a rom-com.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_01]: So we are officially titling this episode, rom-com wars.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: sort of yeah wars because we're going to talk about people we meet on vacation right which was released on Netflix this past weekend and then kind of compare it to other romcoms and then I've got an interesting idea to do as well because so I noticed a pattern in this movie and I want to see if you noticed it and then if you noticed it I got a gauntlet challenge for you as well okay so people we meet on vacation
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: Which I need to learn the title of it because I've said people we met on vacation and I think I've said some other things too Which would all incriminate me, but that's the movie we're reviewing this week.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_01]: It came out on Netflix this Friday, and it's a rom-com There's no doubt about it It's a well there's doubt how is their doubt I have a doubt
- 5:05[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, well, I guess we'll get into that in a second.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: It stars Emily Bader and Tom Blife, Emily, of course, known for movies like My Lady Jane, Fresh Kills, a paranormal activity next if kin.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_01]: Just to name a few, I mean, she's a fairly new actor.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_01]: She's got a decent amount of stuff under her belt.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: If you're a fan of Charmed and you watched what I would call the reboot, she's in that.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: Tom Blife, huh?
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know that.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's available on Netflix actually.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_01]: Tom Blithe is in a movie called, well, I started on movie TV series called Billy the Kid.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: That's where a lot of people know him from.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_01]: Ben Addiction is another movie he's been and the gilded age he was also in Robin Hood, the Russell Crow version or the version I guess where you could say where Russell Crow plays Robin.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: As well.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't say, well, I just said it's Robin.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: So those are the actors or actresses in the movie.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: When we talked about it, we talked about, what was her name, the gal who sticks her hands under her armpits and...
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna leave you in.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_01]: Molly Shannon, that's it.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_01]: That's what drew me to the movie.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: And she's only in like, spoiler alert here, by the way.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: She's only in like 10 minutes of the movie at most.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: So that was one of my comments.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but you know, I mean, no, no big deal because I actually enjoyed the movie.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: Now, so here's, here's basically what goes on.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_01]: This movie features two, what I would call, it started, they started off as college A's kids.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_01]: Poppy and Alex are the characters that were introduced to.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: And basically, they meet in kind of an interesting way.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: And if you've ever gone to college and you've had to share this kind of experience, you probably know exactly what I'm
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: Where you are looking for a ride home that happened to me a couple of times I've even had people ask me for rides home from school where I want to school up in the cross Because they were looking for rides back to the Chicago land.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so they meet they decide to get They basically find out they live in the same town
- 7:13[SPEAKER_01]: which is a little bit, I guess, kind of a coincidence.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_01]: So to speak, perfectly played as far as the movie is concerned.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_01]: And then they headed off through a very interesting conversation in the car.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: which at one point you even start to feel like these guys are not even going to connect at all.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: But then they, at the very end, they become friends, the very area under the car radish, they become friends, and then they make a pact with each other.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: That they're going to go on vacation every year, every summer they're going to go on vacation together, no matter what, whether they're in relationships or not in relationships or whatever, because they decide that, you know,
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: doing weird and crazy things on vacation is where it's at.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_01]: So that's kind of the movie in a nutshell.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't really give you too many spoiler alerts because I don't want to.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: But I found it very entertaining.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of places have given it like a six and a half somewhere six six point eight stars or something like that.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to give it a solid seven.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_01]: It was very entertaining.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, I thought, you know, that Molly Shannon was going to play a bigger role in it.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: So that was kind of the only downside, I guess.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: Not much to talk about as far as cinematography is concerned, or things of that nature.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_01]: I wasn't really, I mean, there are some great shots of some of the landscapes and stuff like that from places they visit.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_01]: I do like some of the titles they came up with for the various trips that they went on.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_01]: I thought those were cool and interesting, and Poppy seems to be a fan of dad jokes.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_01]: As a matter of fact, she cracked a quite a few of them in the movie and I was laughing out loud at quite a few of them.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: So that would be my gauntlet challenge to you.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: Do you want to do a dad joke off to celebrate people we meet on vacation?
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: We can.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_00]: We can't.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_00]: You want to do that now?
- 9:03[SPEAKER_01]: We'll do it at the end.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: That'll be the way we close everything.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_01]: That'll be our final rom-com war.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_01]: Shall we say?
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: And then we'll go from there.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_01]: So like I said, I give it seven, seven stars, seven, comes up, whatever, I don't know.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was good.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it was good.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_01]: It was funny, it was entertaining, it was lighthearted.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_01]: You really felt, I had a lot of feelings during the movie.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it was a lot of, you know, cool, like quirky little things that happened in different things.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_01]: And I like the overall attitude.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_01]: Like they, they're free spiritedness.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_01]: Let's put it that way.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, so what did you watch it with Don first of all?
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: Did Don watch what I watched it on my own.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, me too.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_00]: I watched it on my own.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_00]: Originally I thought I'd watch it with my wife because the Ramcom, that's what they call it.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it was a Ramcom.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure what it was.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no, I did.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: We did watch it.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_00]: But you did watch it.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_00]: Well, what did you think?
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I was going to ask you.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_01]: She didn't really say anything.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, guess you liked it?
- 10:10[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_00]: Well, here's, I gave it a five.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_00]: And then I think I'm good for any of you.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: I figured you would, because when I watched this, I was like, he's not gonna like this.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_00]: I love Ramcams.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: I love Ramcams.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't say Ramcams.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: You know, some of my top movies are Ramcams.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't say you don't like Ramcams.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_01]: I said, I didn't think you were gonna like this.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it was, I have a feeling I know why.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_00]: Well, first of all, it was super slow.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_02]: really see I didn't think it was.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_00]: I got it moved.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_00]: The car ride was a little slow at the home movie was slow.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_00]: And in fact, but this is something I've never seen happen in a movie.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_00]: It got slower as it went on.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_00]: And here's here's my my question.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: Who did they meet?
- 10:55[SPEAKER_00]: who were all the people they met.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the hippies.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: The like five people.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_00]: The hippies in the camp.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't really meet those people.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_00]: They were just sitting in the camp with them.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: They only she met the guy that she thought she was going to jump his bones.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_01]: Spoiler alert, by the way.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: And he met the girl and that was it.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_02]: You didn't meet anybody else.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_02]: We met the whole you they were they were sitting around a camp.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: They met the other couple that they pretended that they were really what they didn't actually.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, that's four people.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_02]: But they didn't actually introduce people.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: But they didn't really meet.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't, they didn't need to introduce them by name.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_02]: They just needed to say, these are people you meet on vacation.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but the title seems to,
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: a lude to story lines based on the people they meet, okay, but then we're story lines based on the people they met.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: No, the whole storyline is he wants to be more than a friend and she doesn't know what the hell she wants.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_01]: That's a huge spoiler alert by the way.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_00]: But anyway, you know, so, all right, so that's, let's pause for a second.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_01]: Here, let's go after what you're talking about with the fact that there weren't storylines in those vacations.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_01]: OK, that's exactly what they were.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: OK, so let's go to the first one.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_01]: They did mention where it was the hippie camp people, right?
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: They decided to go on a boat trip.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, sorry, this is going to be spoiler alert to folks.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: So they decided to go on a boat trip.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_01]: And the two of them popping Alex are going back and forth, bantering back and forth about the guy that's the captain of the ship, even though it's like a small, like speedboat, basically.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_01]: and she wants to do him, and the engine's too loud, so Alex just trying to like talk really out to get the guy it's tension.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, short story of the longer, the guy's like, you guys are really cool, why don't you come to our camp?
- 12:36[SPEAKER_01]: Right, okay, so here's the thing.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_01]: If you're the adventurer's type person, you're going to meet people out on vacation that you don't normally meet and get invited to places you don't normally go, and that's exactly what this is about.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_01]: So they got invited to a hippie camp.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to say to people that was 12 people.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: But they can't find it in medium.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you literally need to go and meet every single individual in a movie.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_01]: I think if that movie is talking about people, not person.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_01]: And now you're talking about how slow it was.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_01]: So now we want to add 12 more people that we need to meet.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_00]: No, that's going to make it even slower.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_00]: My idea of this movie when I saw the title and saw the previews was that there were going to be stories that were they where they interact with somebody that had some purpose for them eventually getting to the end of the movie and I won't give the movie a way like you want to at the end predictable as it is and that never happened
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: There was like nobody, nobody they met, steered them towards where the movie ended.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_01]: But so I would that, why would that happen in normal life on a vacation?
- 13:48[SPEAKER_01]: Why would people in on a vacation in normal life steer you towards the end of some other goal?
- 13:54[SPEAKER_00]: Well, because that seemed to be the crux of this movie to me was, first of all, I thought, I thought the whole movie was really disjointed.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_00]: I hated, I really hated the flashbacks to seven summers ago and I saw the crap.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_01]: So I was going to say you hated the flashbacks and I thought the flashbacks were awesome.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't care for the flashbacks at all.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_01]: I loved New Orleans flashback.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's probably one of my favorite ones.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying I gave it a five.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think that says it's not it's a fun movie.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_00]: It to me it wasn't a rhyme come it was more like a buddy movie two people going along and having these little adventures and then and then they don't tell you what the how they do with the rest of the year by the way.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_00]: Whatever hell they're doing the rest of the year and and I was incredibly disappointed you mentioned Molly Shannon who I was hoping to see back in the movie and she has one role and her whole role is to try to give her daughter a box of 500 condoms I'm like really can can it be even more soft moric and base a mom giving her daughter condoms
- 14:57[SPEAKER_00]: It just was like, the home movie, I didn't think it was written well.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, it was a travel log, was it a buddy movie?
- 15:07[SPEAKER_00]: Again, I don't think they actually met anybody.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_00]: I thought it was way too long and way too slow.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: This was like, to me, it was like a half hour sitcom.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_00]: They could have done all of this in a half hour.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's predictable what's going to happen.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_00]: when they have that moment where I want, where do we go from here at the wedding?
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: And she's like, well, let's not talk about that right now.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_00]: And then he says, well, we should talk about it now.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't want to talk about it.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_00]: So you kind of thought that they were working.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: And then I won't tell you what happened, but predictable.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, my greatest moment watching this movie was eating my snacks.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_00]: I enjoyed my snacks more than the movie.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry, I just, you know, there's so many great rom-com chips that have come around.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_01]: Cheesy popcorn or was it?
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: No, I should probably make popcorn.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: I just said chips, just said chips, but it's just, I don't know, man, it just, you didn't even have popcorn.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: No, I didn't have popcorn.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: Are you going to, you need to stay true to our branding.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_00]: Come on now.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to get cheesy popcorn.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: You better every time.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_00]: I just made up it in.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, hey, go watch it.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_00]: See if you like it.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I,
- 16:28[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't see it as a rom-com, it all.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_00]: I really didn't.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't see a whole lot of funny in this movie.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't laugh out loud at anything.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_00]: at the very least, I did not laugh out loud at Molly Shannon's role, which was like, really?
- 16:44[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't really that fun.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_00]: That's all you're giving her?
- 16:45[SPEAKER_01]: She wasn't really that funny.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell you what.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell you what.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell you what.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell you what.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was Matthew, or sorry, Ian Porter.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I could be wrong.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, Ian Porter.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not wrong about giving it a five.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_00]: But everyone's entitled to their own, we're not paying far off, by the way, it's not like you gave it a nine, and I gave it a nine.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, I mean, this is not a movie I would watch again.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I would watch this movie again.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was funny.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: I would watch it again with other people just to get there.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_01]: Where was the funny?
- 17:33[SPEAKER_01]: You missed all the dead jokes.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: Not be was hilarious.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: And just her whole attitude to her.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe, okay, maybe this, maybe this is the thing.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you're not the adventurous type.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_01]: I am.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_01]: And you're not, well, okay, then I don't know why.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_01]: Don't get more adventures than that.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_01]: Please give me a break.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_01]: That's not adventurous.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'm talking about going to Mexico, finding some cliffs somewhere, and deciding to jump off of it and dive into the middle of the ocean.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_02]: Which they never showed.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_02]: Well, but I'm saying they did other crazy stuff.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_02]: He lost his clothes.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they went skinny dipping.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because he decided to put his clothes there, but, and by the way, they why the way the girl that he met that talked him into going skinny to being disappeared after he, as, as quickly as is closed it back into the sea, uh, no, that's not true.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_01]: She never came back because, because they never, because they never got caught to another scene about them at the camp because the, and here's a spoiler, another spoiler alert, because the, the
- 18:38[SPEAKER_00]: to then create the storyline where they once again met nobody okay whatever so okay maybe if the title wasn't people we meet on vacation maybe if it was friends who do adventures things
- 18:55[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe that's a, maybe I'd have a better feel for the writing and the direction of this movie, but I just, you know, sometimes a title is important.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we're going to fiscal an e-burn on this one hardcore, because we do not agree about this.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_01]: I'm even wondering if you even saw the same movie that I did, because I saw all the adventure in it.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_01]: I saw the romantic comedy, which
- 19:18[SPEAKER_01]: happened in the end and the the whole ground work of that was laid through the entire movie by them being best friends and all that other kind of stuff.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_01]: This is one of those this is one of those core it's better to be friends first and then you realize no you know what we do have this thing for each other in the end.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_01]: So it was more classic romance than it was anything else because it wasn't about hey let's hook up and you know go do this and go do that and then you know oh yeah now we're
- 19:47[SPEAKER_01]: they stayed friends over the course of like at least eight years and then something happened.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_01]: So like that's even more about a classic romance style of the way of doing things so to speak.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing like they do it nowadays and the adventurer comes from them going on vacation together.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_00]: OK, I mean, I'm like, you, you, you have your absolutely in, right, and you're entitled to yours.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm into my wrong one, apparently.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't think it's wrong.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I, we just clearly did not see the same things in the movie, and that's, you know, it is what it is.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's what's going to happen.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why we clearly are Cisco and Everting on this movie.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_00]: And that's fine.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: There's nothing wrong with that.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_00]: And they, they had moments like this too.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I'm saying what he's disagreed on the genre of the movie many times where there's a lot of the industry.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_01]: I even called you names.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: I don't remember if it was Ebert or Cisco, but one of them in one of the episodes actually called them like a dimwit or something like that or an idiot or something like that.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_01]: I don't remember exactly what it was like.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: I would never call you a name and know it was in honey.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_01]: Whoa, I said we don't swing that way anyway.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_00]: So similar, similar, similar Robcams.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_00]: I put down some similar, okay.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_00]: Some Rom, actual Romcams in my opinion.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_00]: Here we go.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_00]: That we're that had a good pacing, okay.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_00]: That had good writing, that had good moments and funny, very funny.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_00]: Number one, on my list, is French kiss with Kevin Klein and Meg Ryan.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know that many people even know that movie, but he's never seen it, go get it.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_00]: Kevin Klein is amazing, he's amazing and almost anything he does.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_00]: But he was really good in this movie, plays a Frenchman, Meg Ryan is an American girl, heading to Paris to Orte France to Hookup Witter, fiance, and Kevin Klein meets her on the plane.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_00]: it's a really good romcom.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_00]: That's my number one when I love that movie.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_00]: Actually it could be a tie between that one and leap year.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_00]: leap year is a romcom.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_00]: Definitely a romcom.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_00]: This is what a rom-com does.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_00]: You have two people who are complete opposites who maybe don't even like each other.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_00]: And through a series of situations and events, they go to go to like each other.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_00]: That's leap year.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_00]: That's French kiss.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_00]: That's if you go all the way back to Adam Rib, which spends a tracing in Catherine Hepburn.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_00]: that you those a rom com by your definition alone of what you just said that's exactly what happens in no yes it is this is two friends who go on vacation once a year for I don't know what is it two weeks
- 22:28[SPEAKER_00]: And then we've got only knows what they do, the rest of the 50 weeks of the year, to have as you don't talk to each other, she hadn't talked them for two years.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_00]: That was in the beginning.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_01]: But that was, but that was, so yes, you're right.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_01]: But previous to that, there is established lines in the movie where it says, oh, yeah, we talked about this.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_01]: We talked about that.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_01]: They did carry on their friendship.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_01]: while they were not vacationing together.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_01]: But they didn't make sense.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_01]: They didn't make sense.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't make sense.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, what a weird relationship to begin with.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_01]: And there was, and there was, there was very, there was a very tense and awkward scene when the two of them, one of the two together, right?
- 23:17[SPEAKER_01]: No, when the two of them went on vacation together with their quote-unquote significant others.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_01]: And I thought it was well played out as well, too.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_00]: I saw that scene at that hole for something was just like, the scene of the two of them in the pool, the two guys, I'm sitting there going, okay.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_00]: So, they had a pool, they had two guys, they put them in the water.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_00]: No particular reason.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_01]: They had a conversation about, I'm not gonna go any further, because we're gonna keep giving stuff away.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_01]: And somehow I feel like I'm being baited to go that route.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, it's funny if you sleep here and French kiss might too tough, Ramcom's, I would also throw in there as a close second, just friends, Ryan Reynolds.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's interesting because I'm looking at what you said for your favorite rom-coms of all time and the Ryan Reddald's movie and the previous one not leap year, but the other one friends kiss you did not mention.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_01]: What do you mean for what for your best Ron comms of all time?
- 24:18[SPEAKER_01]: I leap you are I did.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't say leap you are I said friend.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_00]: Not friends.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_00]: No, because I forgot about it.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_01]: And I said the last the last movie you just mentioned, which I don't remember.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_00]: Well just friends, just what happened.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_00]: Here's why French kiss is on the another reason.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_00]: I got home last night and my wife was watching it in and out with Kevin Klein.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_00]: That's a good movie.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_00]: That's a great movie.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_00]: And when I knew we were going to do this and I thought French kiss and I actually tried to find it to watch it again last night because it's that good.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_00]: French kiss is French kiss leap year just friend those are movies Ram comes that I would watch three four times not in a row But I watch them again because they're fun movies and they move quickly and you sit down and you're like oh shit.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's over This movie I said that and I was like is this ever Gonna be over.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's the same thing over and over and over again.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm gonna ask something because I want to set a standard here
- 25:09[SPEAKER_01]: pop fiction what do you think of it and never saw the whole thing okay all right okay you see pop it's pieces okay you see politics and all the way through and then we'll come back at some point we'll talk about what you think about pop fish and compare it to this movie because there's a lot of the same things happening in both movies fiction around no it's not a rom-com it's the way the story is presented
- 25:29[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, that's all right.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_00]: I promise that I will watch both.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_00]: I have been feeling before next week.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you don't have to just want to.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_01]: I just I just have a feeling that I think I'm I think I'm holding it on a field.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_01]: You keep going, it's not going to be a good night.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, I'm just kidding.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'm totally good.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_01]: I have a feeling you don't like foreshadowing stuff in your in movies or foreshadowing.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_01]: Not foreshadowing.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_00]: Flashbacks.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_01]: Flashbacks, but that's not what I'm talking about.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_01]: I can't think of it.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_01]: I thought my head.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_01]: Terran Tito does a very specific thing with his movies and you either hate it or you don't like it at all.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think we might be honest something here, but I could be totally wrong.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, okay, so there's your, you think you think leap year French kiss and just friends.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_01]: Just friends, which I don't think I've seen are all better rom-coms than that.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_01]: So okay, let's fair.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I think, okay.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not bringing anything to the table because I still think that this is a good rom-com.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_01]: And if I did, I'd go back to other movies, which are always gonna be better movies than this movie, because they're more classic movies, like when Harry Metzalli, for example.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_00]: Ramcom.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_01]: Ramcom, absolutely.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_01]: So, again, I think for what this movie was and for it being a new release, and I think this is more of a newer Ramcom.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think because it's the way the younger generation is thinking and the way they do things, they don't date like we used to date back in the day at all.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_01]: they have this whole no we're just talking face and you and I would have called that like no you're seeing each other but there's a they call it just talking so like things are different nowadays and I think that might be part of the scenario too they just don't they don't date the way that we use to date back in the day they don't go steady they don't do that all the other stuff
- 27:14[SPEAKER_01]: They call it out of the things.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, that's that.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_01]: So all right.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_01]: So romcom wars and like I said I threw the gauntlet down Because there were a lot of dead jokes.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: Okay In the movie and so how do you want to do this because like the way I've seen it done is whoever laughs first loses Or do you want to do the dead joke thing when we do the dead joke off?
- 27:36[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, whoever laughs first loses or you want to just throw a couple jokes out there and just have fun Whether it doesn't matter
- 27:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, whoever lasts first loses it.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_00]: You can go first.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_00]: Keep in mind I'm a professional comedian.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see who laughs first.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_01]: So to sheep walking to a bar.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_00]: That's beautiful.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_00]: I bet you like that one.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_00]: That's lovely.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_00]: Preciner wrap by walking to a bar.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_00]: This isn't really a dad joke.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_00]: The minister, doctor.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_01]: What's for scum's password?
- 28:25[SPEAKER_00]: Run forest run.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_00]: I forrest.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_00]: I forrest.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_00]: Why was the blonde trying to type in the names of the seven dwarves into her computer?
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: Don't know why.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_00]: Because it said passwords must have seven characters.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_00]: Seven characters.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I got it.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_01]: All seven dwarves each one of them's a character.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_01]: They're not funny when you have to explain them by the way.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_01]: How do you stop a bull from charging?
- 29:03[SPEAKER_00]: You take away his credit card.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_00]: What keys, unlike a banana?
- 29:10[SPEAKER_01]: I know this one, but I can't think of it go ahead.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_01]: Monkeys.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's it.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_00]: That's smile.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_00]: That's a smile.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_01]: Smiles don't count.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_00]: I have to laugh all out.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_01]: What's 90 degrees but covered with ice?
- 29:23[SPEAKER_00]: 90 degrees covered with ice.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_00]: Fry angle.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_01]: The north and south poles.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_00]: Oh.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_00]: What's blue and doesn't weigh much?
- 29:39[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_00]: Light blue.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_01]: Ah.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_01]: I heard that one the other day.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_00]: I can see a girl in up in, yeah.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_01]: You can keep trying all you want, because you're smiling too.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_01]: Can February March?
- 29:56[SPEAKER_00]: Can February March?
- 29:57[SPEAKER_00]: It may.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_01]: No, but April May.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, April May, okay.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_00]: What cars do eggs drive?
- 30:06[SPEAKER_01]: I know this one too, but I can't think of it.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_01]: What cars?
- 30:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yoke swag in.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there you go.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_01]: How do you throw a party in outer space?
- 30:23[SPEAKER_00]: You send gravitations.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_01]: You plan it.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you plan it.
- 30:31[UNKNOWN]: Okay.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_00]: What did the cereal bring to the bank?
- 30:39[SPEAKER_02]: The bowl.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_02]: Jackson.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_02]: Da.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_02]: Who eats Jackson our days?
- 30:46[SPEAKER_00]: I like Jackson.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_01]: I asked my dog what's two minus two?
- 30:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah?
- 30:56[SPEAKER_01]: He said nothing.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_00]: It's my dog.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_00]: What did one wall see to the other?
- 31:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'll meet you in the corner.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'll meet you at the corner.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_00]: That's good.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_00]: Get it right, please.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_01]: How do you tell a dog word tree from all the other trees?
- 31:17[SPEAKER_00]: Dog word tree?
- 31:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's wagging its tail.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_01]: By its bark.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, my, it's bark, okay.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_00]: Why couldn't the bicycle stand the loan?
- 31:24[SPEAKER_00]: It was too tired.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_01]: How do you make holy water?
- 31:29[SPEAKER_00]: You boil the hell out of it.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_00]: What did the scarecrow win in the ward for?
- 31:36[SPEAKER_01]: The best in his field.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_00]: Outstanding in his field.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_00]: There we go.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we could go on and on and on about this.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, I can even tell you.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_00]: You don't want to do it.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_01]: I could tell you a joke about pizza, but it's a little cheesy.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_00]: Oh.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_00]: OK. What cards do sheep drive?
- 32:03[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like I said this joke already.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_00]: Go ahead.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_00]: Laaah, Lamborghini.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_01]: Ah, there we go.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_01]: Same promise with the joke I already told you.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_00]: Not really.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, okay.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_00]: You got another one?
- 32:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, um, how do you follow Will Smith in the mud?
- 32:20[SPEAKER_01]: How do you what?
- 32:22[SPEAKER_01]: Follow Will Smith in the mud.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_01]: A wolf?
- 32:26[SPEAKER_01]: Will Smith in the mud.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't know.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_01]: You follow the fresh prints.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_00]: How do cows learn about current events?
- 32:44[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_00]: We need to move paper.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_01]: What's the difference between a man's wall at before and after kids?
- 32:57[SPEAKER_01]: Say again?
- 32:58[SPEAKER_01]: What's the difference between a man's wallet before and after kids?
- 33:03[SPEAKER_01]: Dempty.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_01]: No, there are pictures where the money here's to be.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you left, you left, you left, you left, you left.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_00]: Nope, that was a hiccup.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, hiccup.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, how do you make a waterbed bounce here?
- 33:21[SPEAKER_01]: I know this one too.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_01]: Like you fill it with balls or you put less water and enter, you're something like that.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_01]: I forget what it is.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_00]: You fill it with spring water.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_01]: When a toddler reaches the Y stage, it's like opening a bottle of champagne.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_01]: Once it's corked, where it sits on cork, there's no going back.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_00]: Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_00]: You did?
- 33:48[SPEAKER_00]: Summer wasn't bad, either.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_01]: What did the plumber say to the singer?
- 33:58[SPEAKER_00]: What did the plumber say to the singer?
- 34:01[SPEAKER_00]: You got nice pipes.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_01]: What do you call a sleeping bowl?
- 34:06[SPEAKER_00]: A bulldozer.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_00]: How do you weigh a millennial?
- 34:15[SPEAKER_01]: Instagram.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, very good.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_00]: That was a good way.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_00]: That was a, that was a tough one.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_01]: What do you call a fibbing cat?
- 34:22[SPEAKER_01]: A what?
- 34:22[SPEAKER_01]: A fibbing cat.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_00]: A lion.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_00]: What has four wheels and flies?
- 34:31[SPEAKER_01]: I've heard this one before, but I don't remember it.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_01]: The garbage truck.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, we could go on and on and on.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_01]: Folks, it doesn't seem like we're going to get anywhere.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_01]: We're both full of the concern.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_00]: But coming up next this episode, what do you call a lazy kangaroo?
- 34:51[SPEAKER_00]: A pouch potato.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yep, there you go.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_00]: That's a good one.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_00]: All right, that's a good one to end that.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because you wanted to end it that way.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you could do another one.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's fine.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_01]: I don't need to.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, folks, that's been the episode of Cheesy Popcorn.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_01]: Remember next week, we're going to review Dead Man's Wire.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_01]: And we'll talk more about certain things.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_01]: We've got a couple of other ideas we're thrown around in the mix.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_01]: You know, of course, the Oscars are coming up.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe we'll go in closer just and we'll talk about that.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_01]: We don't want to talk about Nicky Glaser and her golden globe.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, but I heard there was some sort of like bedazzled thong.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't see it.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, yeah, but the assures are coming up.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_01]: So I think in honor of the Oscars, we're going to do a couple of shows where we do like what we fear.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_01]: You're like the best actors, back to directors and all that kind of stuff.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_01]: And of course, you know, we'll always keep our nose to the aisles.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_01]: And of course, our eyes to the screen as well.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_01]: Didn't they say something like that in sneak previews?
- 35:51[SPEAKER_01]: I thought they did.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_02]: It might have.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_01]: But we don't say that here.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_01]: What we do is we say until next episode, save us some popcorn.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_00]: Some cheesy popcorn.
