  You know, this weekend, Moto GP, World, Super Bike, Motor
• 1:38
  America, all running. And I'm sure there's club races
• 1:42
  that are running as well. So a crazy week.
• 1:45
  And you know, crazy week for me because I'm still settling into
• 1:49
  my new environment, new weather, which is nice all the time, my
• 1:54
  friends. That when I was in Boston, you
• 1:58
  know, I would call and ask them how the weather is and you know
• 2:01
  they're like it's Florida man, you know what it is.
• 2:03
  It's good weather. So I'm definitely enjoying the
• 2:05
  weather been riding the Multistrada pretty much every
• 2:08
  day. So it's nice to get out and and
• 2:12
  get some mile in, miles in and and get a feel again for being
• 2:15
  on two wheels because I, you know literally like 3 months.
• 2:18
  I I didn't really ride as much just with, you know, moving
• 2:22
  stuff and you know. Moving bikes.
• 2:25
  I got a bike problem and you know, you know, I have a lot of
• 2:28
  bikes. Well, might not be a lot to some
• 2:31
  people, but for me it's a lot. So you know, took a took a few
• 2:34
  trips to get all the bikes down and stuff like that.
• 2:37
  So but I'm excited to be on, you know on the bike again excited
• 2:41
  for the new season of Be Forever Cool.
• 2:44
  I'm looking to go racing in a few weeks at Roebling with CCS.
• 2:50
  I'm going to bring out the KTM. Which you know for the since the
• 2:54
  last round of CCS that I went to back on Memorial Day, that's how
• 2:58
  long ago it was. I I noticed I had a coolant leak
• 3:04
  between the head and the block and so I had to get the engine
• 3:07
  ripped out, get new seals, all that fun stuff, get the bike
• 3:12
  back together. I also upgraded the front forks,
• 3:16
  so I'm looking forward to testing all the well, not the
• 3:19
  forks, the cartridges looking forward.
• 3:22
  To test and all that out in a couple of weeks and you know
• 3:27
  back you know working out a little bit more so feeling feel
• 3:30
  not not there yet you know you know it's amazing how you know
• 3:36
  the body you know falls apart pretty quickly so but not there
• 3:41
  yet but I'm I'm going to get there so I'm I'm looking forward
• 3:43
  to that coming up in the in the next few weeks and hopefully
• 3:47
  like I said on the last show. To get to Daytona and yeah at
• 3:51
  the at the end of the at the end of the year because Daytona is
• 3:53
  always such a such a fun track to ride on and and I really
• 3:57
  enjoy it. I won't be running into R6 just
• 3:59
  be running to KTM but still still a fun track.

  So looking forward to that like I said on the last show there

  are a lot of a lot of the clubs and especially in the US are are
• 4:12
  you know the race seasons coming to an end on the East Coast
• 4:14
  side. I don't, I don't know, know
• 4:15
  about the middle of the country or the West.
• 4:17
  So you know, it's it's bittersweet, right?
• 4:20
  Because you know, you get if you're fortunate, you know if
• 4:23
  you know you got a couple of rounds in, if not you know you
• 4:25
  get a whole season in somewhere. So that's always nice.
• 4:29
  But then you know starts till you got a couple of rounds left,
• 4:32
  like Loudon got one round after after this in October.
• 4:36
  So this season's starting to come to an end, and this is the
• 4:39
  time where? You start to, you know, reach to
• 4:42
  figure out what you're going to do for next year, right?
• 4:45
  For some folks they might be retiring for.
• 4:48
  For for other folks, you know, they're getting a new bike.
• 4:51
  They might be bumping up to a new class.
• 4:54
  As far as a race license, you might have been amateur.
• 4:57
  Now you're moving to an expert type of thing.
• 4:59
  So for a lot of folks it's going to be, it's going to be, you
• 5:01
  know, different, you know. But the main thing is bike
• 5:04
  maintenance, regardless I think, of whether you have a new bike
• 5:08
  or the same bike. Is bike maintenance and I and I
• 5:10
  find, I find that the sooner I get my bike service after a race
• 5:16
  season is over, the better it is.
• 5:18
  One, you get the whoever is, whatever you're doing,
• 5:21
  suspension, whatever, you get to those guys quicker.
• 5:24
  You know, because you know as as if if if you're trying to run,
• 5:29
  are you trying to run next year and your bike isn't ready by
• 5:32
  February, it's going to be really hard to.
• 5:37
  To to to get that done because a lot of folks are going to start
• 5:39
  to get busy again for the season.
• 5:41
  So you know, the the, you know, get your service done on the
• 5:45
  bike, get your suspension done. If you, if you're, if you're
• 5:47
  doing your breaks or whatever, whatever you're rebuilding,
• 5:50
  whatever you're getting, you know whatever.
• 5:52
  Try to do that on the on the sooner side after the season.
• 5:56
  So then all you have to do is worry about being in shape.
• 6:00
  If you're going to do a livery on your bike figure out what
• 6:02
  colors you're going to do or whatever the case may be that
• 6:04
  type of thing. But at least the maintenance is
• 6:06
  done you know and then your bike is just is just Are you ready
• 6:09
  for the next season. You know that type of thing.
• 6:12
  So that's, you know, that's that's my two cents as far as
• 6:16
  you know, what happens that when the season and you know and then
• 6:19
  you know obviously you know for some folks including myself, you
• 6:22
  know, you know, money's a thing. So you know, that might make it
• 6:25
  a little bit harder but you know.

  I I find that now getting stuff done right after the season is
• 6:33
  over, my bike's all set. I'm I'm, I'm ready to go for the
• 6:36
  next season. All I got to do is worry about
• 6:38
  my, my, my, my, my being in shape and that's it.

  So you know, that's that's the the two cents on on, you know,
• 6:45
  preparing for next season now for some folks.
• 6:49
  And you know, I was up, you know, I was up early watching
• 6:53
  Moto GP, watching the practice, watching all that.
• 6:55
  So there's a lot to talk about there.
• 6:59
  You know, so let's jump down into we talked about the the top
• 7:02
  five finishers in Moto 3. You got Minos?

  Nope. Yeah, you got Biageere.

  I'm probably jacking that up. I apologize.

  He finished fifth Liquid Molly Husqvana, Team Minos.

  He finished fourth on two, finished third.
• 7:22
  Mesa. Finish Macia finished second and
• 7:26
  Alonzo, he won the on Moto 3 race.

  I think he's won three out of four races already.

  Pretty impressive for rookie Pedro Esque.

  It's, you know it has to be a shock on the system when you see
• 7:40
  your rookie comes up and start just dominating the the the
• 7:43
  scene for these other riders, especially some of these older
• 7:47
  riders that's been in Moto 3 for a while.
• 7:49
  I got to assume some of them were kind of.
• 7:51
  Kind of feeling the pressure a little bit because I I I would
• 7:54
  for sure I would definitely a little bit exciting race I I I'm
• 7:59
  you know I I I mean I'll probably watch like tricycle

  racing if if if there's nothing else on but Moto 3 is is one of
• 8:08
  those classes that you know there's not a lot of power on
• 8:10
  the bike so it's it's all about the corner speed and it's it's
• 8:14
  all about full gas all the time and you know these these young
• 8:18
  riders I mean they laying it all on the line.
• 8:21
  You know, and and you know, I think at all levels they do.
• 8:24
  But you know, these guys are trying to make a name for
• 8:26
  themselves. They're trying to get up into
• 8:27
  Moto Two, maybe Moto GP. And you know, it is a small
• 8:30
  percentage of writers go from, you know, Moto 3 to Moto GP.

  You you know, in the last few years it seems like all of them
• 8:37
  do, But you know there's a few, and especially where Moto GP is
• 8:42
  right now, the talent level. It's hard to really say, hey,
• 8:45
  I'm going to get rid of this guy because you know I'm going to
• 8:48
  bring in a new person. So you know you know Motive 3 is
• 8:51
  always fun to watch. And you know we'll see what
• 8:55
  happens with with Alonzo because like I said he's a young kid you

  know, pretty impressive and you know Jeremy Messia, same thing,

  you know. But but he's going to motive 2
• 9:08
  next year. So I I you know which is good

  for him, because. You know you look at John McPhee
• 9:14
  who aged out of Moto 3. So some of these riders, you
• 9:17
  know, if they, you know it's like they can spend 5-6 years in
• 9:20
  Moto 3. But you know after 27 you you
• 9:24
  got to go on to greener pastures where the Moto 2 or elsewhere.

  So it's it's very it's very cutthroat.

  So that's the Moto 3 top five finishes.

  Let's talk about. Moto 2 which you know you would

  think it's a runaway with with Pedro but Celestina Viete he he

  pushed Pedro you know till I mean he had a a it was an

  awesome save I think him and Tony Albalino they they had two
• 9:56
  really cool like wait man they say like they they it would have

  been gone for me I mean it would have been gone you know what I
• 10:02
  mean and and they saved they you know they saved the crash but I
• 10:06
  think you know. You know he didn't have enough
• 10:09
  but still it's nice to see Celestine riding again.

  You know cuz it like like last year he he beginning of the
• 10:17
  season he was alright. Then halfway through the season,
• 10:20
  I don't know if it's because of the change in teams.

  That that kind of you know knocked the spirit.

  It's it's kind of tough with riders.

  I mean you know we all go through you know you know bad
• 10:31
  patches, right. You know you have you have years

  where you know you you just you're struggling you're

  struggling trying to get everything right And so it's

  nice to see him at least you know if not winning the race

  finishing the top two and and running at the front.

  Last week he didn't, The last he didn't, you know, he didn't
• 10:48
  finish as well, but you know, and he won the round before.

  So it's nice to see that that finish.

  Same thing with Lopez, right, He's on the podium as well.

  You know these guys all season, you know they've been, they've
• 11:00
  been strong here and there, but you know, not consistent.

  So it's nice to to see these guys.

  You got Tony Albolino, who he finished fourth and I Guru

  finished fifth in in in the series and you know this.

  Moto two round it was it was kind of similar to like Moto GP

  like you know the riders out front you know they they they

  they broke away and it was a gap and and and you know it was kind
• 11:27
  of not to say it wasn't fun to to watch but it's nice so when I

  ever you know when there's when there's a fight right it's
• 11:33
  always nicer So I was I was rooting for Viete to to to give
• 11:37
  Pedro more of a more of a challenge one to make it

  entertaining for me. Who's watching?

  But also you know it, you know it, they you know they want to

  compete. But again you know it's at that
• 11:49
  level. It's it's it's the slightest

  little thing is, is, is the difference.

  Maybe all these guys are fast, but you know nonetheless, that

  is the the top five for Moto 2. And you know, let's move into

  Moto GP, which you know. For those, yeah, yeah.

  I'm pretty sure if you're if you're a fan of motorcycle

  racing you've you've already you know what's going on.

  So we'll we'll we'll talk about the top five there.

  Vinyalez finished fifth and you know I'm happy for him for for,

  you know running in the top five, running you know running
• 12:25
  it again because you know here's a guy that's been on three
• 12:28
  different manufacturers. He's yet to win on a pearlia so
• 12:31
  hopefully he'll get his due, but at least he's he's, you know.

  The kid was always fast from from Suzuki Yamaha unfortunately

  Yamaha going through what they going through right now and you
• 12:42
  know he he had a horrible breakup right and and so who

  know you know there's a lot of riders that have horrible
• 12:50
  breakups in the automotive GP you know we we can we we can you
• 12:54
  know there's a there's a bunch I'm not going to call those guys
• 12:56
  out but there's a there's a bunch so for him to be able to
• 12:59
  go to Aprilia and and and you know.

  And now he's starting to come into his own.

  It's great for them to finish one too.

  Last week, you know amazing for a prelia, right?

  Nice to see that they're they're that they're up there, so

  definitely happy for being y'all is then.

  Then you got Danny Pedrosa who's retired, he, you know, he, I

  think he was. He's won over 150 races.

  When he was in Moto GP as a fulltime rider, he signed the

  KTM test rider. Wild card.

  He finished fourth yesterday, finished fourth today. 37 years

  old, You know, amazing, amazing. You know, if you don't know who

  he is, if you don't know who he is, definitely go look him up.

  Watch some old races. He's, you know, he's one of
• 13:50
  those guys that just had. You know just some unfortunate

  you know situations happen you know like you know like Oliveira
• 13:56
  or or Annea Bastianini right. Just getting taken out by other

  riders and then being hurt. But you know in his case he is
• 14:03
  like he was you know, he he, he does at least three
• 14:06
  championships that he could have won that he was taken out by
• 14:09
  other riders and and injured and and and and just just bad luck.

  But he's a good rider. He's definitely changed the KTM
• 14:18
  program along with Jack Miller. Well Jack Miller is.

  I think it's icing on a cake that that put KTM now in the top

  five. But you know Danny Pedroso was

  good to see him run maybe maybe Rossi one of these guys that

  come out and say hey you know give me a shot maybe.

  I think Kyle Crutcherlo is going to come out and do a wild card

  as well. So you know, it's it's nice to

  see these older riders come back and ride and especially hey

  listen when you can, when you can, when you finish, you know

  4th over all these other guys and.

  You haven't raced in 5-6 years consistently.

  That's pretty amazing. I mean, so imagine if this guy,

  you know, had like two or three races under his belt and on that

  KTM where he could be, but it was nice to see him #3 is Peco

  Bagnaya. He finished third, you know,

  ride riding wounded. The last round he got ran over
• 15:09
  by by Brad Bender. After he high sighted and so you

  know he's been limping all week and you know to see him get
• 15:19
  third and be injured it's pretty amazing.

  You know what I mean because you know I, I, I noticed like to be
• 15:26
  run over. So that's happened to me.

  Also noticed like to you know to to ride you know and not be

  fully healed. And it you know it it takes a

  lot It's it's and I'm not doing anywhere close to the ride and

  that these guys are doing. So you know and it's a struggle.

  It was a struggle for me. So you know to be to be, you

  know to do 20 something laps and to be in that much pain and and

  to finish on the box it is, it's pretty amazing.

  So shout out to Peco back night for that finished third, leading

  the championship right now. Then you got Bezeki, another guy
• 15:59
  who got jacked up. You know, the week before as

  well, taken out by Bastionini. And you know again riding

  wounded and you know finished second and gave the the the the
• 16:11
  1st place guy oh hey Martin a a push until you know he probably
• 16:16
  just the pain was just too much he also had a few mistakes as

  well and and he you know he brought it home in second place.

  He's third in the championship and you know, and again,
• 16:26
  amazing. And you know he's on a AA2022

  Ducati as well. And to see this guy that you

  know they're both of them Peco and and and biszeki ride like

  that is is is is pretty amazing and it reminds me of like like

  Lorenzo back in the day when he broke his collarbone and and had

  surgery and came back and rode and finished fifth in the
• 16:48
  champion in in in the in the race.

  So you know it's that says a lot.

  You know, it's, you know, certain athletes, You look, you

  know, certain athletes are not going to pick sports or whatever

  certain human beings, I should say.

  Have a higher tolerance of pain than others because you know you

  know it sounds pretty bad for Peco and and to be able to go

  out there and do that and and and like I said finished third

  fought off Danny Pedrosa in the towards the end it it is amazing

  so and then in the 1st place guys oh hey Martin he's second

  in the championship. You know he got pole position,

  he won yesterday, he won today in the Sprint race and in the in

  the main race. You know what what we say about

  it, I mean there's a few things. It's good to see him riding
• 17:44
  again. Well, I hope it continues.

  He he, you know he struggled for a little bit on the on the GP23.

  So it's nice to see that it's coming together.

  You know, if it sticks, I think PECO has a problem.

  But you know Peco finishing third and and and injured gives

  you hope for a healthy guy so hopefully you know he come back

  healthy but the the you know the championship is nice where you

  got you got Bezeki you got oh hey Martin and you got Peco

  which you know anyone those three guys could could win the

  the championship. I mean, obviously there's other

  going to say to the top three because you never know what can

  happen injury here injury there guy all of a sudden starts to

  feel good and and it's a wrap you know so it is it is I I'll

  tell you how many more rounds are left because there's a

  there's a still a lot of racing that's going to go on.

  So you know I didn't get you got two weeks off then they got to

  know they're going to be in India and they're going to be in
• 18:44
  Japan after that motege from Moto GP game was one of my
• 18:48
  favorite tracks. They're going to be Indonesia

  after that. Then Australia, then you got the
• 18:53
  Thai Grand Prix, then you got the Malaysian Grand Prix, then
• 18:57
  you got Qatar, and then you got Valencia, so you got 8 rounds

  left. So that's all you know, it's 200

  points to gain for any rider. So, you know, the season is

  still, I mean I I think, you know anyone that's 100 points
• 19:13
  away is still a good, good shot of of winning this thing.

  If they can, you know, get well the other manufacturers.

  I think Ducati kind of has have it figured out.

  But I think some of these other manufacturers, the KTM and

  Aprilia, I don't think you know Honda Yamaha are going to get

  there this year but you never know what can happen, right?

  I'm not I'm not going to say never, but you never, you never

  know what can happen. But I I think that you know with

  with Bender A zako Vaniales. You know that you never know

  what can happen. You never know what can happen.

  So I'm looking forward to all these races that are coming up.

  Moto GP is crazy. The only the only downside is,

  you know, I'm up early watching races live and stuff like that.

  But you know, there's worst things in life that can be

  happening. So you know, let's move over to

  World Super Bike happening the same time I believe it was in in

  France. I like to be accurate, so I

  guess I will let you verify that.

  So you know I I have to say it's even that series you you would

  have thought that Alvaro Batista would have ran away with it but

  he he isn't and you know you got top rock coming in there and he

  won two out of the three races over the weekend and and so you

  know and then only gave her five points in in the last race
• 20:41
  earlier today. So you know that championship is
• 20:44
  wide open and what you know amazing you know amazing to

  watch. You know you see these guys you

  see top Rock You know sliding into corners.

  It's just I mean I can watch anything but you know it was a

  great weekend to watch. Unfortunately Alvaro had issues

  and you know ran into Rinaldi took him out in one race in the
• 21:09
  in the Sprint race, Super Bowl race you know and so I think he

  finished like 10th or something like that.

  So he gave us some points there but you know and I think he and
• 21:21
  on race one he must have had a mechanical of sorts that sorted
• 21:27
  out and and also didn't finish on on the podium there.

  But you know Yamaha top rock took took advantage of that and
• 21:35
  you know got away with two wins out of out of out of three and
• 21:39
  that's not too bad and he's not that far down in the
• 21:41
  championship so pretty wild and in super sport Johnson Johnson
• 21:49
  and Ray as well for that that man is working that before I get
• 21:52
  into super sport I mean he's working at that Kawasaki he's
• 21:55
  he's he's you know I don't want to say he's like quarter hour on
• 21:58
  the on the Yamaha but he's definitely have to override that

  bike to even get where she's getting and and and the skill
• 22:05
  level he has it shows. So it would be interesting to
• 22:08
  see what happens when he jumps on the Yamaha next year and and
• 22:12
  you know starts to slide that bike around for next season.

  Garrett Gerlach Gerlach is another person to shout out as
• 22:18
  well because he's starting to come coming to his own on that
• 22:21
  BMW and and running really well. So I'm definitely looking
• 22:25
  forward to it. There's only one more round left

  of of World Super Bike but it is what it is still a a whole bunch
• 22:35
  of fun to watch and and I'm looking forward to the last
• 22:37
