- 0:12Speaker 1: It's time he welcome to the nady ban sham your house,
- 0:17Speaker 1: thrump shooter. And it is Thursday, my favorite day of
- 0:20Speaker 1: the week. It is Thursday, and every Thursday, our dear
- 0:24Speaker 1: friend mach Lupo joins us. Hey, LUPI are you there?
- 0:27Speaker 2: Hell Loopy louis your hello?
- 0:28Speaker 1: Rm, Hey Lupy Loopy Lou, how are you?
- 0:32Speaker 2: I'm doing great? This is also my favorite day of
- 0:34Speaker 2: the week. We always say that, truly, it's a beautiful
- 0:37Speaker 2: day here. But you know, tonight's light to go out
- 0:39Speaker 2: that the weekender's coming.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Perfect, perfect, perfect, I'll see you tonight. It's okay, let's
- 0:44Speaker 1: jump into the show. What time is it, my friends?
- 0:47Speaker 1: It is tea time. I had a little bit of
- 0:49Speaker 1: a frog in my throat. There, hang on one second, this story,
- 0:52Speaker 1: Mark is so delicious. So we have a royal jam war.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You heard that rut So days after Megan Markle released
- 1:02Speaker 1: her jam guess who is now touting their own jam
- 1:07Speaker 1: Buckingham Palace. You heard that right. So a recent promotion
- 1:11Speaker 1: by Buckingham Palace is Strawberry Preserve, shortly after Megan Markele
- 1:17Speaker 1: released her own line of jams, has sparked speculation amongst
- 1:22Speaker 1: Royal watchers. On Wednesday, Buckingham Palace's shop, Yes they have
- 1:26Speaker 1: a gift shop in the Palace, took to their Instagram
- 1:29Speaker 1: account to post the video showing Royal Strawberry Preserve. It
- 1:34Speaker 1: sounds lovely set to the soothing music of Mozart, Very fancy.
- 1:39Speaker 1: They wrote the following on the post, quote as Strawberry
- 1:42Speaker 1: Preserve is made using only the finest berriers and is
- 1:48Speaker 1: delicious served in a variety of ways. Now the timing
- 1:52Speaker 1: of this mark it's very very spicious. I'm starting to
- 1:55Speaker 1: giggle because Megan just released her own jam line. The
- 2:00Speaker 1: comments are hilarious. Go to the Bookingham Palace Instagram page
- 2:05Speaker 1: or official page. Read these comments. Lots of people are saying,
- 2:09Speaker 1: this is so shady, This is just shady, shady, shady.
- 2:14Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 2:15Speaker 2: Oh my god, this is the most petty thing I've seen,
- 2:18Speaker 2: and it's in the best way. And I will say
- 2:19Speaker 2: it because you know, it's like, finally the Palace is
- 2:23Speaker 2: in on the joke. You know, I think they are
- 2:25Speaker 2: laughing this whole situation. It seems like maybe they've hired
- 2:28Speaker 2: a younger social media person to kind of like spice
- 2:31Speaker 2: things up and just like, you know, give us a
- 2:33Speaker 2: lot of chuckle about us. What do you think?
- 2:35Speaker 1: Yeah? I love when I like it when different companies
- 2:38Speaker 1: take little jabs at each other. And Megan is a
- 2:40Speaker 1: company here, she's a human being too. I do get that,
- 2:43Speaker 1: but I agree with you. I don't. I can't imagine
- 2:45Speaker 1: maybe King Charles is sitting around saying let's do this.
- 2:49Speaker 1: But I do think maybe they've hired some young, sassy
- 2:52Speaker 1: gay guy who's like me, watch this. Now. They've been
- 2:56Speaker 1: selling jam at this gift shop for a very long time,
- 2:59Speaker 1: so it's not as if they just suddenly decided, let's
- 3:02Speaker 1: put out a jam. Let's go into the jam business
- 3:06Speaker 1: as a family. So they've often sold these sort of
- 3:09Speaker 1: organic olive oils, jams, different products. But what's so interesting
- 3:15Speaker 1: to me is they decided to promote it officially to
- 3:18Speaker 1: their millions of followers just days after Megan. Now, if
- 3:22Speaker 1: I had been the King or maybe even Prince William,
- 3:26Speaker 1: I'd say, now, let us pull that ad. It's basically
- 3:30Speaker 1: an ad. Let's not promote the jam this month. Let's
- 3:33Speaker 1: present promote the olive oil. Let's promote something else, like,
- 3:37Speaker 1: is this the month we should be promoting the jam.
- 3:39Speaker 1: And let's face it, it's not as though the family are schmuckers.
- 3:43Speaker 1: They don't rely on the income from jam to keep
- 3:47Speaker 1: the palace lights on. They have tons of money. How
- 3:51Speaker 1: much money can they make from this jam? I mean
- 3:53Speaker 1: really how much? They're little pots of cham and they're
- 3:55Speaker 1: only sold I think in the gift shop maybe online.
- 3:58Speaker 1: It's quite hard to get hold of this royal job.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I think they might have it at some stores too
- 4:03Speaker 1: in London, but it clearly isn't the main financial center
- 4:07Speaker 1: of the family. It's not the main financial anchor of
- 4:11Speaker 1: the company. So it might be like, let Meghan have
- 4:15Speaker 1: the jam.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it's for Meghan. You know, people pointed
- 4:20Speaker 2: out on her jam there's a logo on the on
- 4:23Speaker 2: the bottle that looks very much like the Royal Crest,
- 4:25Speaker 2: and so do I think they may. There's speculation that
- 4:28Speaker 2: maybe you know, Meghan is you know, swerving into lanes
- 4:32Speaker 2: that you know she shouldn't. But for me, I just
- 4:35Speaker 2: think it's again, I think it's really funny and I
- 4:37Speaker 2: think I had a good laugh about it. But it
- 4:40Speaker 2: makes me also wonder. I guess things are not resolved
- 4:43Speaker 2: between Meghan.
- 4:46Speaker 1: It's worse than ever, it's worse than ever the pettiness
- 4:50Speaker 1: within the palace. What I'm told to which I think
- 4:52Speaker 1: is really interesting too, is that it's not just the family,
- 4:55Speaker 1: it's the entire staff. People inside Buckingham Palace are very
- 5:00Speaker 1: loyal to the King, to the Crown, and they're really
- 5:03Speaker 1: really angry still with Meghan, and they're making these decisions
- 5:07Speaker 1: that are coming across as petty. They are petty and
- 5:10Speaker 1: in the long run, it's not gonna help the family.
- 5:12Speaker 1: And also, to let's be clear about this, they don't
- 5:15Speaker 1: need all the money, so they don't need all the
- 5:17Speaker 1: money from this from this jam, So it's just like
- 5:20Speaker 1: a petty move. But I want to know what you
- 5:23Speaker 1: have to think about this naughties which brings us to
- 5:25Speaker 1: that whole question of the day. So Jam wars Buckingham Palace.
- 5:29Speaker 1: The official strawberry Jam of Buckingham Palace has been released,
- 5:34Speaker 1: just a few days after Meghan Markel has released her jam.
- 5:37Speaker 1: My question is naughty, but I love it. Whose jam
- 5:41Speaker 1: would you rather eat? Would you rather have the Palace
- 5:44Speaker 1: jam on your toast this morning or Meghan's rustic jam?
- 5:48Speaker 1: I don't even know what that means. Arrusted. Maybe it's
- 5:51Speaker 1: very hearty. Maybe the berries are a little bit older.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Oh that doesn't sound very nice on fresh bearries. We'll
- 5:56Speaker 1: go and vote on our Twitter pay check naughty nice.
- 6:00Speaker 1: A Facebook page is naughty gossip and be sure to
- 6:03Speaker 1: check back tomorrow to hear your results. I can't believe
- 6:08Speaker 1: we started the show mark with breaking jaminers.
- 6:13Speaker 2: It's so funny. We are ridiculous. But I have a
- 6:16Speaker 2: different story for you, a more concerning story. Taylor Swift
- 6:21Speaker 2: is concerned Travis Kelsey made buckle under the pressure of fame. Okay,
- 6:27Speaker 2: so Taylor Swift is deeply in love with Travis Kelsey,
- 6:30Speaker 2: as we know, but she's also feeling anxious about the
- 6:32Speaker 2: potential challenges that come with their relationship, particularly regarding fame,
- 6:37Speaker 2: sources have Sources have revealed to Page six that Swift
- 6:41Speaker 2: is eager for a happy ending with Kelsey and this
- 6:44Speaker 2: desire is leading to her to worry about jinxing their relationship.
- 6:47Speaker 2: And while Kelsey is accustomed to being in the spotlight
- 6:50Speaker 2: and having hosted a podcast and starting his own reality show,
- 6:54Speaker 2: swiss level of fame is on a different scale and
- 6:56Speaker 2: can be overwhelming to anyone. And the interne are also here.
- 7:00Speaker 2: There's very little oxygen between Taylor Swift's fame and her life.
- 7:04Speaker 2: And Travis is a peacock, but he's never dated a
- 7:06Speaker 2: celebrity before, and she's one of the most famous women
- 7:09Speaker 2: in the world, and right now he's enjoying everything and
- 7:12Speaker 2: he's hoping that it stays like that now, Rob Taylor
- 7:17Speaker 2: Swift cannot enjoy a mile. She cannot walk around New
- 7:21Speaker 2: York City without being mobbed, and I would imagine at
- 7:23Speaker 2: some point that becomes very overwhelming for any person or
- 7:26Speaker 2: a couple. What do you think is going on here?
- 7:29Speaker 1: I think this is just a curse and it makes
- 7:32Speaker 1: me really sad because a lot of us grow up
- 7:34Speaker 1: thinking if we're rich and famous, all our problems go away,
- 7:36Speaker 1: and that is not always the case. Taylor is the
- 7:40Speaker 1: most famous person in the world, and as the source
- 7:43Speaker 1: told page six, it's a different level of fame. He's
- 7:47Speaker 1: very famous, but he's not as famous as Taylor Swift.
- 7:50Speaker 1: And also too, I thought this was so interesting. The
- 7:52Speaker 1: line between her fame and who she is is very blurred.
- 7:58Speaker 1: She is Taylor Swift, so even when she's just brushing
- 8:02Speaker 1: her teeth, she's Taylor's Swift. When she looks in the mirror.
- 8:06Speaker 1: She's Taylor's Swift, and I think that must be so
- 8:10Speaker 1: much pressure for her to handle, let alone somebody else.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Bringing somebody into your world. When you meet a new datemark,
- 8:18Speaker 1: when you met Kevin Jonas and brought him into Loopy's world,
- 8:22Speaker 1: it's a lot. You've got unusual friends, We've got exciting friends,
- 8:25Speaker 1: We've got some friends they're a bit grumpy. You've got
- 8:28Speaker 1: some Showby's friends. It's a lot. Can you imagine bringing
- 8:32Speaker 1: somebody into the world of Taylor Swift. I just can't
- 8:35Speaker 1: imagine that.
- 8:36Speaker 2: I mean, I think in adding to that, then you
- 8:38Speaker 2: have the public who's then commenting, speculating, weighing in on
- 8:43Speaker 2: every move that you make. And I would imagine they're
- 8:46Speaker 2: reading those headlines and then that kind of probably, you know,
- 8:48Speaker 2: causes issues or you know, distance or just the pressure
- 8:53Speaker 2: of trying to maintain the expectation that they're at the
- 8:56Speaker 2: perfect couple. There's just so many layers that make it
- 8:59Speaker 2: difficult for them.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, it makes me feel sad for Taylor here,
- 9:03Speaker 1: But I like that she's aware of it. She's very
- 9:06Speaker 1: very smart. She knows this is a problem. I think
- 9:09Speaker 1: her past relationships have been in trouble because of her
- 9:12Speaker 1: level of fame. It's really hard to and particularly because
- 9:15Speaker 1: she's a woman. Let's be clear here, if the man
- 9:18Speaker 1: was more famous, we might be okay. When I was
- 9:20Speaker 1: working with Jessica Simpson. It was when Jessica became more
- 9:23Speaker 1: famous than Nick that the trouble started in the marriage.
- 9:27Speaker 1: When they first got together, Nick was a star and
- 9:28Speaker 1: Jessica really wasn't. He was the biggest star. After the
- 9:31Speaker 1: reality show, Jessica became the star of that family. Let's
- 9:34Speaker 1: be clear, it's always about Jessica Simpson. It's really tricky.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I've been on red carpets where they've asked big celebrities
- 9:40Speaker 1: Ben Affleck to get out of the way so they
- 9:42Speaker 1: can do a solo shot of JLO. It's always going
- 9:45Speaker 1: to be the picture of the woman of the dress
- 9:48Speaker 1: that sells. That's what the newspapers want, that's what the
- 9:51Speaker 1: magazines want. It's really quite hard, I think, though. I
- 9:55Speaker 1: do think one of the reasons I like him so
- 9:58Speaker 1: much is that I I do believe he's got his
- 10:01Speaker 1: eyes open too, and he is man enough that he
- 10:05Speaker 1: can let her be the star. He knows it's about her,
- 10:08Speaker 1: he knows that all the time he's asked about her.
- 10:11Speaker 1: He knows if they're spotted out together, people are going
- 10:13Speaker 1: to push him out of the way to get to
- 10:15Speaker 1: Taylor Swift. And so I think he's aware of all this,
- 10:18Speaker 1: but it doesn't make it any easier. Fingers crossed. Such
- 10:22Speaker 1: a sad story, but one that I think if anybody
- 10:26Speaker 1: can figure this out, it's Taylor Okay. Moving along. Ryan
- 10:29Speaker 1: Seacrest has split with his girlfriend Aubrey Page after three
- 10:33Speaker 1: years together. So sources are confirming this to People magazine.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Now the fact people are reporting it, the source has
- 10:38Speaker 1: to be the publicers. It has to be somebody really,
- 10:41Speaker 1: so we don't have to doubt this one here. And
- 10:43Speaker 1: so they've broken up romantically. Oh, I like this. They
- 10:46Speaker 1: plan to remain good friends and support each other. They
- 10:48Speaker 1: always say that never happens. It never does. It's like
- 10:51Speaker 1: when you break up too, I'm never remained friends with him?
- 10:55Speaker 1: Six weeks later, who are you? So they're going to
- 10:57Speaker 1: tend to remain friends. The first went public with their
- 11:01Speaker 1: relationship in twenty twenty one. I'm told what's going on
- 11:04Speaker 1: here is that Ryan has once again picked his career
- 11:08Speaker 1: over love. He's starting on wheel of fortune in a
- 11:11Speaker 1: couple of months, and this might be potentially the biggest
- 11:15Speaker 1: TV job he's ever had. Its huge to fill the
- 11:19Speaker 1: shoes of a legendary host. So when he went into
- 11:22Speaker 1: Kelly's show, he was only fifty percent of it, so
- 11:25Speaker 1: Kelly could help him shoulder that burden. But this is him.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Wheel of fortune is Ryan. It has been on TV
- 11:33Speaker 1: a really long time. It makes millions of dollars, and
- 11:37Speaker 1: he might not be the one that the public accept.
- 11:41Speaker 1: He's hoping he will be. I'm sure he will, but
- 11:43Speaker 1: that's a lot of pressure. Don't get me wrong here.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Don't be worried. Ryan's earning a ton of money. He's
- 11:48Speaker 1: going to be fine even if the show bombs. But
- 11:50Speaker 1: you don't want to be the person that takes over
- 11:53Speaker 1: a massive, legendary franchise and watch it in Plowwood on
- 11:59Speaker 1: your watch. Under a lot of pressure. He is.
- 12:01Speaker 2: And this kind of reminds me of Tom Brady right
- 12:03Speaker 2: where It's like Tom was just married to football and
- 12:06Speaker 2: that was always his first priority. And you know, Ryan's
- 12:09Speaker 2: a really nice guy. I've gotten to interview him over
- 12:11Speaker 2: the years, and I noticed that he's a patterner in
- 12:14Speaker 2: his dating life. It's always three years he needs someone
- 12:17Speaker 2: for three years and then it breaks off. Another three
- 12:20Speaker 2: years and it breaks same For the situation, I think,
- 12:22Speaker 2: you know, there's something to be said for that, and
- 12:25Speaker 2: you take a look at yourself and say, what is
- 12:27Speaker 2: most important? Is it my career? Is my love life?
- 12:30Speaker 2: Can I have both? And maybe maybe I lose a job,
- 12:33Speaker 2: maybe I stop hosting American Idol, But something has to
- 12:36Speaker 2: give if he wants to have a you know, a
- 12:38Speaker 2: long term relationship.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right. He keeps adding work, not taking away.
- 12:44Speaker 1: He's not leaving one job to go to another. It's
- 12:46Speaker 1: just keeping adding and adding, and there's only so many
- 12:49Speaker 1: hours in the day, and he does what he does.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Let me be clear here, I'm a fan of Ryan Seacrest.
- 12:54Speaker 1: He does so well, there's no one better. But the
- 12:57Speaker 1: amount of work that goes into being that is extraordinary.
- 13:02Speaker 1: He makes it look easy. It's not. It's really really hard.
- 13:06Speaker 1: And his dedication to his craft is something that I
- 13:09Speaker 1: really admire. But there's only so many hours in the day,
- 13:13Speaker 1: and I would imagine it's very difficult for him to
- 13:16Speaker 1: have both this amazing career and also to an amazing
- 13:21Speaker 1: private life. Okay, Mark, what is going on talking about love?
- 13:25Speaker 1: With Dory Spelling a big revelation. Yeah So.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Tory Spelling opened up about her teenager romance with former
- 13:32Speaker 2: Beverly Hills Now two and Oh co star Brian Austin Green,
- 13:36Speaker 2: describing him as her first love and the only man
- 13:39Speaker 2: who has broken her heart. I was a fan of
- 13:43Speaker 2: the show and didn't realize they did it, but so
- 13:45Speaker 2: Spelling and Green, who portrayed love interest Donna Martin and
- 13:48Speaker 2: dated Silver on the iconic nineties show, dated as teenagers
- 13:51Speaker 2: while working on Beverly Hills Now Too, Want to Know
- 13:54Speaker 2: and amid her divorce from Dean McDermott after eighteen years
- 13:57Speaker 2: of marriage, Spelling discussed her feelings with Green, pondering whether
- 14:01Speaker 2: she was truly in love during her marriage eighteen years.
- 14:06Speaker 2: I'm not sure if you were in love.
- 14:08Speaker 1: If I was Dean, I would be for urious. We've
- 14:12Speaker 1: all got our first love, and that's a fact. Mine
- 14:15Speaker 1: was Craig Smith. Who was yours? Mark? Who was your
- 14:17Speaker 1: first love?
- 14:18Speaker 2: I can't name it on this podcast.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I can't say his name, but we all got them.
- 14:22Speaker 1: We all know who it is. That doesn't take away
- 14:25Speaker 1: from other loves in your life. Someone always has to
- 14:28Speaker 1: be first, but to be married to somebody for eighteen
- 14:32Speaker 1: years that you get divorced from, and that didn't break
- 14:35Speaker 1: your heart. The only man that broke her heart was
- 14:38Speaker 1: Brian Austin Green. That's a real snub to Dean. I
- 14:43Speaker 1: think Tory knows exactly what she's doing here. There is
- 14:46Speaker 1: a lot of bad blood between Tory and Dean, and
- 14:51Speaker 1: so I think this is just another poke in the
- 14:53Speaker 1: eye at that relationship. You know, it's a wicked thing
- 14:57Speaker 1: to say, to be married to somebody for eighteen yeahs,
- 15:01Speaker 1: and he didn't break your heart, but your first love did.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Oh not nice. Okay, We're going to take a quick
- 15:07Speaker 1: break and we will be right back. Welcome back to
- 15:11Speaker 1: the Naughty but Nice Share. I'm Rob Soda with our
- 15:14Speaker 1: dear friend Mark Lupo. Hey, let's get to the polls. Hey,
- 15:19Speaker 1: last show, we talked about Kate and William. They put
- 15:21Speaker 1: an adorable picture. Louie turned six years old. Is so
- 15:24Speaker 1: cute in this picture. They've already been accused of another
- 15:28Speaker 1: photoshop scandal. People are saying they photoshopped it. It's too perfect.
- 15:32Speaker 1: It looks fabulous to me. I don't see any evidence
- 15:36Speaker 1: of any photoshop. They're not that stupid. After what happened
- 15:40Speaker 1: on Mother's Day. They're not going to be playing that
- 15:42Speaker 1: game again. But what do you think, Naughtie is Do
- 15:44Speaker 1: you think they're guilty or innocent? What do you think
- 15:47Speaker 1: is this phono shop? Let's have a look? Oh eighty
- 15:49Speaker 1: two percent said innocent, no photoshop. I am with you.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Don't forget to vote on today's polka to our Twitter
- 15:56Speaker 1: page at Naughty Nice Rob or our Facebook page Gossip
- 16:01Speaker 1: and be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 16:06Speaker 1: And now I'm my favorite part of the show and
- 16:08Speaker 1: nicest of the day.
- 16:10Speaker 2: No, it's Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift. Oh. So, the
- 16:16Speaker 2: couple recently enjoyed a private couple's getaway with Bradley Cooper
- 16:20Speaker 2: and Gigi hadid Oh in Caramel by the Scene in California.
- 16:23Speaker 2: This is an interesting pairing. So this exclusive trip was
- 16:26Speaker 2: confirmed by Travis Kelsey's mother, Donna. Of course Donna who
- 16:30Speaker 2: mentioned it to people in Las Vegas. Donna and apparently
- 16:34Speaker 2: during a trip A Fenn also claimed on Instagram to
- 16:37Speaker 2: have spotted Taylor and Travis dining at the restaurant in
- 16:40Speaker 2: the same area, and a couple who've been keeping a
- 16:42Speaker 2: little profile since they were sitting together at Coachella, were
- 16:46Speaker 2: reportedly cozy and affectionate while watching performances by Ice Spice
- 16:50Speaker 2: and jack Ardnoff.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Mmm, I loved. She's quite friendly with Bradley Cooper. Remember
- 16:56Speaker 1: she was spotted arriving at his townhouse in New York.
- 16:59Speaker 1: I think it was his birthday. Hugh Jackman was there,
- 17:02Speaker 1: Bradley Cooper and also Taylor Swift, so they are quite friendly.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Maybe they'll work on a project. Maybe she will be
- 17:09Speaker 1: his next Lady Gagar in a big musical movie or
- 17:12Speaker 1: I'm all for that. I like this. It is interesting though,
- 17:16Speaker 1: when you date somebody, you have to fit into their
- 17:19Speaker 1: friendship group, and Taylor's friendship group happened to be some
- 17:23Speaker 1: of the most famous people in the world. Couple's vacations. Oh,
- 17:27Speaker 1: I'm nicest of the day, and now I naught. He's
- 17:29Speaker 1: the day, naughty, naughty, naughty Glen Powell, hunky Glen Powell
- 17:32Speaker 1: May and you know him from Top Gun and his
- 17:34Speaker 1: always Shirtles was absolutely delicious. He made a new movie
- 17:37Speaker 1: with Sydney Sweeney. It was called Anyone But You. It
- 17:42Speaker 1: did not do very well. But if you remember, before
- 17:45Speaker 1: the movie came out, there was lots of pictures of
- 17:46Speaker 1: them together, frolicking in the beach, looking gorgeous. They seem
- 17:50Speaker 1: to be dating. He is now confessing, confirming that all
- 17:55Speaker 1: that was fake. It was all staged to make people
- 17:59Speaker 1: more interested in their chemistry, more interested in them. He
- 18:03Speaker 1: said that she was the one actually behind this. He
- 18:05Speaker 1: gives her full credit for being the driving force. So
- 18:09Speaker 1: Sydney here was the driving force, highlighting the strategic decisions
- 18:14Speaker 1: they made or she made, to enhance their appeal of
- 18:18Speaker 1: their characters. Ultimately, it did not work. I hate when
- 18:23Speaker 1: movie stars do that before a movie comes out. We
- 18:25Speaker 1: often see people together and it's all made up. When
- 18:28Speaker 1: I was working with j Lo, she did Made in Manhattan,
- 18:31Speaker 1: and we used to stage pictures of her and Ray
- 18:33Speaker 1: Fines and they actually did not get along very well
- 18:37Speaker 1: in real life, but we'd always stage pictures of them laughing,
- 18:40Speaker 1: having a nice scream, having dinner together. And I just
- 18:44Speaker 1: don't know if it really works. I think we're too smart.
- 18:47Speaker 2: I mean now I'm feeling upset. I feel like I
- 18:49Speaker 2: was duped in some ways. I kind of did believe
- 18:52Speaker 2: that they were maybe something a couple, and it's like,
- 18:54Speaker 2: why would you tell us this now? Like I'm not
- 18:56Speaker 2: going to believe you for the next one.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes, the boy or the lady that cried Wolfer. Okay,
- 19:02Speaker 1: let's say with a moment of rob you rob you
- 19:03Speaker 1: gott rubbi you a rub. Do you know the expression
- 19:05Speaker 1: mark curiosity kills the cat. Well, actually it is the
- 19:09Speaker 1: opposite for humans. Let me explain. There is no research
- 19:13Speaker 1: out there that reveals the more questions you ask, the
- 19:17Speaker 1: longer and the happier you live. And so if you're curious,
- 19:23Speaker 1: if you're a nosy person, if you ask a lot
- 19:25Speaker 1: of questions, you're probably gonna have a happier life. Be
- 19:29Speaker 1: interested in your friends, be interested in your family, ask questions,
- 19:34Speaker 1: show up if you're invited to events, even if you
- 19:37Speaker 1: don't think you want to go, show up, because that's
- 19:41Speaker 1: the secret to real happiness. Be curious. What do you think?
- 19:46Speaker 1: I mean?
- 19:46Speaker 2: I think that's what me and you have in common.
- 19:48Speaker 2: We're very nosy and very curious and always you know,
- 19:52Speaker 2: that's how you learn.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Right, That's how you learn. It's not only how you learn, Mark,
- 19:57Speaker 1: it's how you show you care. Ask questions. So when
- 20:00Speaker 1: you meet a friend for coffee, turn up, ask questions,
- 20:05Speaker 1: find out what's going on? I saw some people a
- 20:08Speaker 1: couple of days ago. Friends. I was out having a
- 20:10Speaker 1: drink at Bottino with a group of my friends and
- 20:12Speaker 1: next to me there was a table of friends. They
- 20:14Speaker 1: were all on their cell phones. They didn't speak, they
- 20:17Speaker 1: just sat there texting. I don't think each other, but
- 20:19Speaker 1: other people. When you're with somebody really really pay attention
- 20:24Speaker 1: and the rewards will be a happier life. Hey, that
- 20:28Speaker 1: is it for today. Before we want to go, I
- 20:30Speaker 1: want to thank Susie Joy. I got a lovely note
- 20:32Speaker 1: from a podcast listener in Texas saying, I absolutely love
- 20:36Speaker 1: the show, particularly the little inspiration motivational tips by Rob.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Thank you for that. I think you like the motivational stuff,
- 20:44Speaker 1: the moment of Rob more than the gossip. But Susie,
- 20:46Speaker 1: we are thrilled to have you as a listener. If

- 20:53Speaker 1: Naughty Gossip is my email address, The Naughty Gossip at

- 21:05Speaker 1: it for today. Thank you so much for listening to
