Philippians 4:22 - The Gospel Reaches the Palace

At first glance,this may seem like little more than a closing greeting. But when we stop andthink about it, these words remind us that nothing can stop the Gospel of JesusChrist. Remember where Paul is as he writes these words. He is under housearrest in Rome. Humanly speaking, it appeared that his missionary ministry hadcome to an end. He could no longer travel from city to city planting churches.He was chained to Roman soldiers’ day after day. Many people might have lookedat Paul's circumstances and concluded that Satan had won.
