- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:00Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you.
- 0:03Speaker 2: It's so nice to have you with us, especially if
- 0:05Speaker 2: you're listening on the radio around the country. Senator, it
- 0:07Speaker 2: was one heck of a week in Washington, D.C., where
- 0:09Speaker 2: you were. And not only was it a big week there,
- 0:12Speaker 2: but it was also a very big week in New
- 0:15Speaker 2: York City at the United Nations as well. And we've
- 0:18Speaker 2: got a lot to cover.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Well, this week, President Xi Jinping was in Washington, D.C.,
- 0:25Speaker 3: to meet with President Trump and to be there for
- 0:27Speaker 3: a state dinner. Washington was shut down for most of
- 0:32Speaker 3: the day that she was there. Many of the streets
- 0:35Speaker 3: were closed, and the guest list included many of the
- 0:40Speaker 3: most prominent CEOs in America. Virtually all of the tech
- 0:45Speaker 3: CEOs came in for it. In many ways, you read
- 0:48Speaker 3: through the guest list, and it was an illustration of
- 0:51Speaker 3: how The battle with China and the race for AI
- 0:56Speaker 3: is front and center, and every one of those tech
- 0:59Speaker 3: CEOs is engaged right in the middle of that battle.
- 1:04Speaker 3: But the president brought Xi in and did what Donald
- 1:10Speaker 3: Trump does frequently, which is negotiate with our adversaries, and
- 1:14Speaker 3: I am confident, press the interest of the United States.
- 1:18Speaker 3: The contest with China... I think is the single biggest
- 1:24Speaker 3: and most significant geopolitical threat facing this country for the
- 1:28Speaker 3: next hundred years. And I, for one, am very glad
- 1:32Speaker 3: we have a president like Donald Trump who's willing to
- 1:35Speaker 3: stand up to China as compared to during the four
- 1:37Speaker 3: years of Joe Biden, a president who would not do so.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Yeah, it was really interesting to see, and we're going
- 1:43Speaker 2: to get into that meeting. And exactly what I always
- 1:46Speaker 2: talked about, especially publicly, there's a lot that the media
- 1:50Speaker 2: was covering. We're going to have all that for you
- 1:51Speaker 2: in just a moment. Right now, somewhere in the world,
- 1:54Speaker 2: there's a child waiting, not waiting for a birthday, not
- 1:57Speaker 2: waiting for Christmas, waiting for someone to choose them. That's
- 2:02Speaker 2: what Compassion International does every single day. They connect children
- 2:07Speaker 2: living in poverty with someone who will know their name,
- 2:10Speaker 2: pray for them, encourage them, and help provide the food,
- 2:14Speaker 2: medical care, education, and hope they need through a local church.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Now this year, Compassion is expanding into four new countries, Malawi, Zambia, Cambodia,
- 2:26Speaker 2: and Myanmar, meaning there are thousands of children that are
- 2:30Speaker 2: being reached for the very first time. Now you can
- 2:33Speaker 2: join me in sponsoring a child for just $ 43 a month.
- 2:38Speaker 2: You literally can be the reason one child stops waiting.
- 2:41Speaker 2: So sponsor a child today at Compassion.com. That's Compassion.com. All right, Senator,
- 2:49Speaker 2: I want to go back to the state dinner. And
- 2:51Speaker 2: there was some criticism by some of the people that
- 2:54Speaker 2: I know well in the world of politics who were
- 2:57Speaker 2: saying the president shouldn't be rolling out the red carpet
- 3:00Speaker 2: for China. shouldn't be doing a state dinner, shouldn't be
- 3:04Speaker 2: smiling and grinning. And I laugh because this is a
- 3:07Speaker 2: president that's made it clear, whether it was his first
- 3:09Speaker 2: term or second term, he'll meet with anyone, anywhere to
- 3:12Speaker 2: negotiate a deal. And he also, as you mentioned, the
- 3:15Speaker 2: guest list, this was a who's who to show strength.
- 3:19Speaker 2: You had in the banking industry, for example, Jamie Dimon,
- 3:21Speaker 2: JPMorgan Chase, who's there. You've got Elon Musk and that
- 3:25Speaker 2: team there. You've got all these AI people in those sectors.
- 3:28Speaker 2: So whether it is launching satellites or AI or the
- 3:31Speaker 2: banking world, the president made it clear at this state dinner,
- 3:34Speaker 2: he wanted China to see what America has on our
- 3:38Speaker 2: side and and what they're up against. And by the way,
- 3:41Speaker 2: China did not have a bunch of CEOs there on
- 3:43Speaker 2: their side at all.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Well, and I will say that the perspective of much
- 3:47Speaker 3: of the world has changed on China significantly. You know,
- 3:51Speaker 3: when I was first elected to the Senate 14 years ago,
- 3:54Speaker 3: I was saying then that the contest with China was
- 3:58Speaker 3: the most important battle we had for the next century.
- 4:03Speaker 3: That was a really lonely position at the time. There
- 4:06Speaker 3: was virtually nobody in Washington who agreed with me. the
- 4:11Speaker 3: Democrats all disagreed. They all wanted to get in bed
- 4:14Speaker 3: with China. And at the time, most of the Republicans
- 4:18Speaker 3: did too. They looked at China and they just saw
- 4:20Speaker 3: dollar signs. They wanted to do business with China. It
- 4:23Speaker 3: was all in. And what I've been advocating is that
- 4:29Speaker 3: we need a comprehensive strategy, much like we did under
- 4:34Speaker 3: Ronald Reagan dealing with the Soviet Union. Now, look, to
- 4:37Speaker 3: be clear, Nobody in their right mind wants a shooting
- 4:41Speaker 3: war with China. China is a nuclear superpower. They have
- 4:44Speaker 3: a massive military. It would be very, very bad for America, very,
- 4:48Speaker 3: very bad for China, and very bad for the world
- 4:51Speaker 3: if we engaged in a full-on shooting war with China,
- 4:54Speaker 3: just like it would have been very, very bad for
- 4:56Speaker 3: America and the Soviet Union and the world if we'd
- 4:59Speaker 3: engaged in a shooting war with them. When you have
- 5:01Speaker 3: massive superpowers, each of whom has enough nuclear weapons to
- 5:05Speaker 3: eradicate humanity... You really, really, really don't want those weapons used.
- 5:11Speaker 3: But that doesn't mean that you have no tools. It
- 5:14Speaker 3: doesn't mean you roll over. And that toolkit... includes number one,
- 5:19Speaker 3: the bully pulpit. It means calling out China for their culpability,
- 5:23Speaker 3: holding them to account. And it means, number two, resisting them,
- 5:28Speaker 3: resisting their espionage, resisting their propaganda, resisting their funding in
- 5:34Speaker 3: the United States, resisting their investing in farmland and buying
- 5:38Speaker 3: farmland near military bases, resisting in their expansion of Across
- 5:44Speaker 3: the globe, China is engaged in what they call the
- 5:46Speaker 3: Belt and Road Initiative, where they invest billions of dollars
- 5:50Speaker 3: in Latin America, in Africa, throughout Asia, and it's all
- 5:55Speaker 3: from China's perspective. They're waging a thousand-year war against the
- 6:00Speaker 3: United States, and their objective is global domination. They're not
- 6:03Speaker 3: confused about what they want. They want to dominate America economically, militarily, diplomatically.
- 6:10Speaker 3: They want to dominate America across the globe, and... you know,
- 6:14Speaker 3: I will say when Biden was president, the administration did
- 6:21Speaker 3: not stand up to China. They were loathe to stand
- 6:23Speaker 3: up to China. Trump has done far more so on trade.
- 6:27Speaker 3: He's imposed tariffs and pressed back on China and trade.
- 6:31Speaker 3: And I think, look, I am skeptical of tariffs, particularly
- 6:35Speaker 3: tariffs staying in place on a permanent basis with respect
- 6:38Speaker 3: to most countries that we trade with. But I think
- 6:41Speaker 3: China is different. And I think de-linking our supply chain,
- 6:47Speaker 3: particularly for critical infrastructure from China, is hugely, hugely important.
- 6:53Speaker 3: And listen, I'm glad that Trump had our tech leaders there.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Now listen, big tech has a host of sins, a
- 7:01Speaker 3: host of things they've done that I think were wrong,
- 7:04Speaker 3: that we need to work to hold them accountable to
- 7:10Speaker 3: the American people. But The question of who wins the
- 7:14Speaker 3: race for AI. Yeah. America or China is, I believe,
- 7:20Speaker 3: the most important economic question facing America. The answer to
- 7:25Speaker 3: that will dictate trillions of dollars in new investment and
- 7:30Speaker 3: millions of new jobs. If we lose to China, we
- 7:33Speaker 3: will see millions of high-paying jobs go to China. And
- 7:37Speaker 3: even more importantly, Whatever country wins the race for AI,
- 7:41Speaker 3: their values are going to dominate AI. So if you
- 7:45Speaker 3: want the values of the Chinese Communist Party, espionage, surveillance, propaganda, control,
- 7:52Speaker 3: AI used as a tool of the government to control you,
- 7:58Speaker 3: then you're good with China winning the race for AI.
- 8:00Speaker 3: If you want American values of free speech and individual
- 8:04Speaker 3: freedom and free enterprise to dictate AI.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Then you want America to win the race for AI.
- 8:10Speaker 3: So the stakes are high and having those tech CEOs
- 8:14Speaker 3: there was very much a show of strength because right
- 8:17Speaker 3: now America is winning. And that's one of the reasons
- 8:21Speaker 3: why China is investing real money in pushing anti-AI and
- 8:27Speaker 3: anti-data center propaganda, because they're trying to get the easiest
- 8:31Speaker 3: way for Xi to win this race is is to
- 8:35Speaker 3: convince America to unilaterally disarm, to handcuff ourselves and hand
- 8:40Speaker 3: world leadership of AI over to China, I think that
- 8:43Speaker 3: would be a massive mistake.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Senator, I want to get back into this conversation we
- 8:49Speaker 2: were having a moment ago about China. Obviously, the state
- 8:52Speaker 2: dinner was very interesting and there was a lot of
- 8:54Speaker 2: politics playing out there. But I was talking to one
- 8:57Speaker 2: of our good friends, Larry Kudlow, on his show on Fox,
- 9:00Speaker 2: and we were going through the list of all the
- 9:02Speaker 2: big topics that the president was probably going to be
- 9:05Speaker 2: talking about with the leader of China. It is a
- 9:09Speaker 2: long list. It's an important list. Everything from AI to
- 9:12Speaker 2: fentanyl to Taiwan. I mean, there is a lot that
- 9:16Speaker 2: they were going to be hashing out, is my guess.
- 9:19Speaker 3: So there are a lot of topics that I'm certain
- 9:21Speaker 3: were on the agenda. I think front and center was
- 9:25Speaker 3: China's assistance to Iran and China's willingness, number one, to
- 9:29Speaker 3: purchase Iranian oil, number two, to provide military equipment that
- 9:33Speaker 3: is restocking Iran. Obviously, we've had ongoing military conflict with
- 9:37Speaker 3: Iran for a number of months, and China has played
- 9:41Speaker 3: an important role resupplying Iran. And so I am quite
- 9:45Speaker 3: confident that the president pressed hard on Xi to stop
- 9:49Speaker 3: bailing out Iran, to enhance the pressure of the economic
- 9:54Speaker 3: blockade that President Trump has in place on Iran. And
- 9:58Speaker 3: I'm hoping.
- 10:00Speaker 5: the cheap oil.
- 10:00Speaker 2: That was one of the things that was propping up Iran.
- 10:03Speaker 2: And people may not realize... just how much Iranian oil
- 10:08Speaker 2: was going directly to China that they, by the way,
- 10:10Speaker 2: desperately need. But they were able to get it at
- 10:12Speaker 2: a discount. That was one of the reasons why many
- 10:15Speaker 2: believe they were helping Iran. And there was even this
- 10:18Speaker 2: big controversy this last week over those satellite pictures that
- 10:22Speaker 2: may have been used in another country to target an
- 10:24Speaker 2: American military base.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Yeah, look, at its peak under Joe Biden, Iran was
- 10:30Speaker 3: selling and producing and selling two million barrels a day
- 10:33Speaker 3: of oil. most of which was going to China. And
- 10:38Speaker 3: that flowed over $ 100 billion to the Ayatollah. That was
- 10:43Speaker 3: as a result of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris refusing
- 10:46Speaker 3: to enforce Iran sanctions. And so leaning into China to
- 10:52Speaker 3: get them to stop assisting Iran is, I think, very important.
- 10:56Speaker 3: I also hope and believe that President Trump raised prisoners
- 11:01Speaker 3: wrongly detained in China. One of them, is Jimmy Lai.
- 11:05Speaker 3: So Jimmy Lai is a democracy dissident. He is from
- 11:09Speaker 3: Hong Kong. He was a media mogul, a newspaper man
- 11:13Speaker 3: who's been incredibly courageous speaking up for human rights, speaking
- 11:18Speaker 3: up against Chinese communist oppression. And what did the Chinese
- 11:21Speaker 3: communist government do? They locked him in jail. He has
- 11:24Speaker 3: been in jail for six years. He's been in solitary
- 11:27Speaker 3: confinement for much of that time. Jimmy Lai is 78
- 11:31Speaker 3: years old. His health is failing. I met last week
- 11:34Speaker 3: with Sebastian Lai, who is Jimmy's son, and publicly called
- 11:40Speaker 3: on the administration to do everything they can to secure
- 11:43Speaker 3: Jimmy Lai's release. But, you know, back in 2019, when
- 11:46Speaker 3: I traveled to Hong Kong to stand in support with
- 11:50Speaker 3: the dissidents there who were standing up to Chinese communist oppression,
- 11:53Speaker 3: I met with Jimmy Lai in 2019, and he had
- 11:56Speaker 3: a lot of courage then. He had amassed a lot
- 11:59Speaker 3: of wealth, and he was risking it all by standing
- 12:03Speaker 3: up to the Chinese Communist Party. And I will say,
- 12:06Speaker 3: particularly now, there's a powerful humanitarian case. Look, China arrested
- 12:11Speaker 3: him on trumped-up charges. They basically invented a law so
- 12:14Speaker 3: they could throw Jimmy Lai in jail because he's been
- 12:17Speaker 3: such an effective voice against the Chinese oppression. But Jimmy
- 12:21Speaker 3: Lai's daughter right now has cancer, and so she's publicly
- 12:25Speaker 3: called on a humanitarian release of her husband. I hope
- 12:29Speaker 3: President Trump leaned in. He has raised Jimmy Lai with
- 12:32Speaker 3: the Chinese before, and I hope he did this time
- 12:35Speaker 3: as well.
- 12:36Speaker 2: You know, you talk about that's one of the things
- 12:38Speaker 2: that this administration has really, really focused on, and.
- 12:42Speaker 4: That is people.
- 12:43Speaker 2: that are being held against their will inappropriately by regimes,
- 12:47Speaker 2: also hostages, American hostages. They've had great success. You've been
- 12:50Speaker 2: involved in quite a few of those cases. That's one
- 12:53Speaker 2: of the things that I do think is going to
- 12:54Speaker 2: be part of Trump's legacy. is how much he made
- 12:58Speaker 2: sure that either standing up on issues like this or
- 13:02Speaker 2: getting Americans back that are being held around the world,
- 13:04Speaker 2: and again, that's something that's part of your legacy as well, Senator.
- 13:07Speaker 2: You've really focused on that significantly while you've been in
- 13:10Speaker 2: the Senate, and you guys have that in common very
- 13:12Speaker 2: much so.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Well, I've spent a lot of time focusing on dissidents
- 13:16Speaker 3: and championing dissidents. If you look at China, Mark Sudan,
- 13:21Speaker 3: who was an American citizen, he was a Texan, and
- 13:23Speaker 3: he was wrongfully detained for... roughly a decade in China. And,
- 13:28Speaker 3: and I twice authored bipartisan resolutions, uh, calling for Mark
- 13:35Speaker 3: Swidan's release that passed the Senate unanimously. And I repeatedly
- 13:38Speaker 3: raised it directly with the Chinese government. I repeatedly raised
- 13:42Speaker 3: it with the Biden administration, with the Trump administration, urging
- 13:45Speaker 3: them to make it a priority to release Mark Swidan.
- 13:49Speaker 3: I talked with his mother who lives in Texas multiple
- 13:52Speaker 3: times and, and, Joe Biden was not able to get
- 13:56Speaker 3: that done, but President Trump leaned in and secured Mark
- 14:01Speaker 3: Swidan's release. And I actually met with Mark when he
- 14:03Speaker 3: came back to America after a decade in horrific conditions
- 14:08Speaker 3: in a Chinese jail. And, you know, there is a
- 14:11Speaker 3: power to speaking out for dissidents. It's one of the
- 14:16Speaker 3: things tyrannies fear dissidents. And so I have spoken out
- 14:21Speaker 3: for dissidents all over the world. that are unjustly held
- 14:25Speaker 3: by tyrannies and tyrants. You know, one example back in
- 14:28Speaker 3: the Obama administration was a woman named Miriam Ibrahim, who
- 14:34Speaker 3: was wrongfully imprisoned in Sudan. She was sentenced to 100
- 14:39Speaker 3: lashes and to hang by the neck until dead for
- 14:42Speaker 3: the crime of being a Christian. That was her offense.
- 14:45Speaker 3: She was a Christian, and the government of Sudan demanded
- 14:49Speaker 3: she either denounce Jesus or they would torture and murder her.
- 14:53Speaker 3: And I repeatedly went to the Senate floor. I spoke
- 14:56Speaker 3: out on her behalf. I begged Obama to say her name.
- 14:59Speaker 3: He would not utter her name. And by the way,
- 15:02Speaker 3: Miriam is a young mom. She had a daughter, Maya,
- 15:08Speaker 3: and a little baby boy, Martin, who was born in prison,
- 15:12Speaker 3: literally while she was in leg irons in the dirt
- 15:14Speaker 3: in prison. And even though Obama would not lean in,
- 15:19Speaker 3: ultimately there was enough international pressure that Sudan gave in.
- 15:23Speaker 3: And they released her, and I got to meet her
- 15:24Speaker 3: when she came to America. Her husband's an American. And
- 15:28Speaker 3: I met with her, and I asked her, look, when
- 15:30Speaker 3: you were in that dark prison, and they were threatening
- 15:32Speaker 3: to murder you, and you were there with your babies,
- 15:35Speaker 3: how did you not give up? And she looked at
- 15:38Speaker 3: me with this incredible peace, and she just said, Jesus
- 15:43Speaker 3: was with me. And it really, it's powerful. It's one
- 15:47Speaker 3: of the reasons I spend so much time highlighting dissidents,
- 15:50Speaker 3: because it's powerful. as a tool to fight back against tyranny.
- 15:54Speaker 2: You know, not everybody is rooting for people to be
- 15:59Speaker 2: released that are being held in China. A great example
- 16:02Speaker 2: of that is a guy by the name of Hassan Piker.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Democrats are hoping this guy will just take a really
- 16:07Speaker 2: long sabbatical from saying crazy things, but he's not doing
- 16:11Speaker 2: that at all.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Well, Hassan Piker is one of the most important champions
- 16:17Speaker 3: and surrogates who's campaigning with Democrats all across the country.
- 16:21Speaker 3: And Democrats are embracing him. They're proud to stand with him.
- 16:24Speaker 3: And Assange Piker is an America-hating communist. He is an Islamist.
- 16:30Speaker 3: This is the same radical who says America deserved 9-11.
- 16:36Speaker 3: He campaigned repeatedly with Abdul Al-Sayed, the Democrat nominee in Michigan, who,
- 16:42Speaker 3: like Piker, is an Islamist and a Marxist and an America-hater.
- 16:48Speaker 3: And No matter how extreme Hassan Piker gets, the Democrats
- 16:54Speaker 3: are unwilling to distance themselves from him. And indeed, Abdul,
- 16:58Speaker 3: I'll say it, continues to embrace this guy. I want
- 17:00Speaker 3: you to listen to what Hassan Piker is saying right
- 17:04Speaker 3: now he wants to do if he's in power.
- 17:06Speaker 6: Give a listen. I will throw you in prison. Okay.
- 17:12Speaker 6: I want to put you physically behind a prison. I
- 17:16Speaker 6: want Chinese style communism to happen inside of the democratic
- 17:21Speaker 6: party right now.
- 17:22Speaker 4: Okay.
- 17:23Speaker 6: I want to do cultural revolution when I see that.
- 17:26Speaker 2: I mean, I'll give them this. The timing is really
- 17:30Speaker 2: nice with China coming to town. It's almost like you
- 17:32Speaker 2: should say today's show brought to you by the Chinese
- 17:34Speaker 2: communist party.
- 17:36Speaker 3: Look, I, I will give him credit for one thing, honesty.
- 17:41Speaker 3: That is, in fact, what he wants to do. And
- 17:43Speaker 3: he says he wants Chinese-style communism. He wants gulags. He
- 17:48Speaker 3: wants to throw people in prison. He wants cultural revolution. Look,
- 17:53Speaker 3: there are right now... more than one million people in
- 17:58Speaker 3: concentration camps in China's Uyghurs, which is a religious minority.
- 18:03Speaker 3: In those concentration camps, they do horrific things. The Fulong Gong,
- 18:07Speaker 3: which is another religious minority, they do organ harvesting. The
- 18:10Speaker 3: Chinese communist government forcibly takes their organs to transplant in
- 18:15Speaker 3: other people. It is horrific. They torture people. They murder people.
- 18:20Speaker 3: And Hassan Piker... is calling for that. By the way,
- 18:24Speaker 3: he's calling for that within the Democrat Party. If you
- 18:26Speaker 3: listen to what he was saying there, he's not even, look,
- 18:28Speaker 3: he clearly wants to do it to us, to Republicans,
- 18:30Speaker 3: but he's saying, if you are not a full-on Marxist,
- 18:34Speaker 3: if you are not a full-on Islamist in the Democrat Party,
- 18:38Speaker 3: that's what he wants to do to his fellow Democrats.
- 18:42Speaker 3: I mean, when I say there's a hostile takeover of
- 18:45Speaker 3: the Democrat Party, look, there's a reason that my Democrat
- 18:49Speaker 3: colleagues are terrified of this guy. And I want to
- 18:54Speaker 3: listen to this clip also of Mao Zedong. It's actually
- 18:58Speaker 3: of Hasan Piker talking about Mao. Give a listen.
- 19:01Speaker 5: Mao Zedong is one of the great leaders of this world, okay?
- 19:07Speaker 5: A man who changed the entire universe, the entire planet, okay?
- 19:14Speaker 6: For real, for real, yes.
- 19:16Speaker 5: I mean, there was a lot of f * * *
- 19:16Speaker 5: ing excesses, let's be real, but the People's Republic of
- 19:19Speaker 5: China would not exist without Mao Zedong.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Senator, I gotta say, I mean, when you go all
- 19:25Speaker 2: in for this style of communism and you're the leaving
- 19:27Speaker 2: surrogate of the Democratic Party, it should wake up a
- 19:31Speaker 2: few Americans that this is what they really want.
- 19:35Speaker 3: Look, Mao is one of the most evil human beings
- 19:37Speaker 3: to have ever lived. He was a monster.
- 19:43Speaker 2: By the way, can you just explain a little bit
- 19:44Speaker 2: behind that? Because a lot of people, they think monster.
- 19:47Speaker 2: They're like, well, okay, there's Adolf Hitler and then there's others.
- 19:50Speaker 2: A lot of people don't know of monsters, honestly, in
- 19:52Speaker 2: history outside truly of Hitler.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Well, Mao was responsible for over 30 million who died
- 20:01Speaker 3: during the Great Leap Forward famine. He was responsible for
- 20:06Speaker 3: at least two and a half million who were beaten
- 20:10Speaker 3: or tortured to death. He was responsible for more than
- 20:14Speaker 3: 722,000 people who were executed in the campaign to suppress counter-revolutionaries.
- 20:22Speaker 3: He was responsible for between 1.1 million and 1.6 million
- 20:27Speaker 3: who died in the Cultural Revolution. Assange Piker is saying,
- 20:30Speaker 3: I want a Cultural Revolution. That took between 1.1 and
- 20:34Speaker 3: 1.6 million lives, people who were murdered. And he was
- 20:38Speaker 3: responsible for tens of millions of people who were subject
- 20:41Speaker 3: to political persecution. with Christians. Mao had a particular hatred
- 20:47Speaker 3: for Christians. He would literally drive two and three inch
- 20:50Speaker 3: nails into the eyeballs of Christians. That's how he would
- 20:53Speaker 3: murder Christians, with a hammer and nails. And what is
- 20:59Speaker 3: Hasan Piker? Says he's one of the great leaders of
- 21:02Speaker 3: the world. Look, you mentioned Hitler. Look, Hasan Piker... He's
- 21:07Speaker 3: cheering on Mao. I assume he cheers on Stalin. I
- 21:10Speaker 3: assume he cheers on Hitler. Mass murderers. He is telling
- 21:15Speaker 3: you he is in favor of mass murder. He is
- 21:18Speaker 3: in favor of oppression. And Abdul Al-Said stands happily beside
- 21:24Speaker 3: him and said, yep, that's my guy. And to be clear,
- 21:27Speaker 3: Al-Said does not win the Democrat nomination in Michigan without
- 21:31Speaker 3: Hassan Piker. He is directly responsible. For Al-Said being the nominee,
- 21:37Speaker 3: and if you... Look, this is something I take very seriously. Communism,
- 21:42Speaker 3: I believe, is the most evil doctrine humanity has ever produced.
- 21:48Speaker 3: It is responsible for more death, more suffering, more poverty,
- 21:54Speaker 3: more torture, more misery than any other ideology mankind has
- 22:01Speaker 3: ever produced. And just between Mao and Stalin, They are
- 22:05Speaker 3: the two human beings who have lived who have killed
- 22:07Speaker 3: the most people. Hitler was evil and embodied evil, but
- 22:12Speaker 3: in terms of death toll, both Mao and Stalin killed
- 22:17Speaker 3: many more people than Hitler did. And then you throw
- 22:20Speaker 3: in Pol Pot in Cambodia who killed millions as well.
- 22:25Speaker 3: You do Castro in Cuba. You do Nicaragua. You do
- 22:29Speaker 3: North Korea. You do Venezuela. Every country that has had communism.
- 22:35Speaker 3: The result is murder, it's imprisonment, it's torture, it's oppression.
- 22:40Speaker 3: And that is what Hassan Piker is saying, not just
- 22:43Speaker 3: that he supports it there. I want to play again
- 22:46Speaker 3: what he wants here in America. I want to play
- 22:49Speaker 3: just his words once again. This is one of the
- 22:53Speaker 3: leading surrogates for Democrats running for Senate right now today
- 22:58Speaker 3: in 2026. Listen to him again what Hassan Piker wants.
- 23:02Speaker 6: I will throw you in prison. OK, I want to
- 23:06Speaker 6: put you physically behind a prison. I want Chinese style
- 23:12Speaker 6: communism to happen inside of the Democratic Party right now. OK,
- 23:16Speaker 6: I want to do cultural revolution when I see that.
- 23:20Speaker 2: By the way, I do think it's interesting as we
- 23:22Speaker 2: play that for the second time, Senator. You know, you
- 23:24Speaker 2: look at this past week and the warnings coming from
- 23:27Speaker 2: the Democratic Party saying, or the promise to their voters
- 23:31Speaker 2: that if you'll just give us back control of the
- 23:33Speaker 2: House or the Senate or both, we're going to weaponize
- 23:36Speaker 2: our government and we're going to go after Donald Trump.
- 23:39Speaker 2: We're going to go after his cabinet members. We're going
- 23:40Speaker 2: to go after his donors. We're going to go after
- 23:42Speaker 2: his family members. Like, we want to put people in jail.
- 23:45Speaker 2: It sounds an awful lot like what he's saying he
- 23:47Speaker 2: also wants to do, if you think about it.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Yeah, look, under Joe Biden, we saw the Department of Justice.
- 23:52Speaker 3: We saw the FBI. We saw the federal government weaponized
- 23:55Speaker 3: to attack the president's political opponents. and I believe should
- 24:00Speaker 3: these radicals get power again, it will be substantially worse.
- 24:05Speaker 3: These zealots are embracing, he is telling you he wants
- 24:09Speaker 3: to oppress you, he wants to strip away your rights,
- 24:12Speaker 3: strip away your civil liberties. Look, when he wants cultural
- 24:16Speaker 3: revolution stuff, he is literally talking about murdering his opponents,
- 24:23Speaker 3: and Abdul Al-Sayed steadfastly refuses to distance himself, refuses to
- 24:29Speaker 3: denounce the evil that Hassan Piker... This is not a
- 24:33Speaker 3: comment he made years and years ago. This is what
- 24:36Speaker 3: he's saying right now. This is who Piker is. By
- 24:40Speaker 3: the way, young people on the left, these DSA communists,
- 24:46Speaker 3: cheer Hassan Piker like he's Mick Jagger, like he's a
- 24:49Speaker 3: rock star.
- 24:50Speaker 2: I mean, imagine China. I mean, if they're in America,
- 24:53Speaker 2: you know, looking at what we're saying here on their visit,
- 24:57Speaker 2: this is not just music to the ear. This is
- 24:59Speaker 2: like straight up propaganda from them.
- 25:01Speaker 3: This is what's taking over the Democrat party. And by
- 25:04Speaker 3: the way, Abdul Al-Sayed, he believes the same things. Listen
- 25:07Speaker 3: to Abdul Al-Sayed's sister talking about what her brother believes.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Hey, just want to say thank you for everything you said.
- 25:15Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 25:16Speaker 5: I also, my nephew just.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Started going to U of M.
- 25:18Speaker 4: Yeah, oh.
- 25:19Speaker 5: And I got him actually doing.
- 25:20Speaker 4: That before Abdul.
- 25:21Speaker 5: Oh, amazing.
- 25:23Speaker 3: You got super, like, sketchy about it.
- 25:24Speaker 5: It's the whole, you know, like, I'm a capitalist.
- 25:26Speaker 3: And I'm like, dude, like, don't worry about that.
- 25:28Speaker 4: Abdul is not a.
- 25:30Speaker 6: Yeah, all we care about is the policies.
- 25:34Speaker 4: At this point. Are you a socialist?
- 25:36Speaker 6: I'm not. I'm a capitalist. Are you a socialist? I'm not.
- 25:39Speaker 6: I'm a capitalist. Are you a socialist? I'm not. I'm
- 25:42Speaker 6: a capitalist.
- 25:42Speaker 2: It's amazing how much they'll just lie straight to your
- 25:44Speaker 2: face just to hope they win this election, even though
- 25:47Speaker 2: it's very clear what they believe.
- 25:49Speaker 3: Well, as his sister said, all they care about is
- 25:51Speaker 3: the policy. So he's going to lie and claim now
- 25:53Speaker 3: that he's a capitalist. But it's very clear, as she
- 25:57Speaker 3: was willing to reassure this this pretend supporter that he's
- 26:02Speaker 3: not a capitalist. It's just about the policies. And listen,
- 26:05Speaker 3: he stands with Assange Piker who wants to throw us
- 26:08Speaker 3: all in jail and he wants Chairman Mao's cultural revolution
- 26:12Speaker 3: here in America.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Senator, I want to get into another issue, and that
- 26:16Speaker 2: is James Tallarico in this big race in Texas. The
- 26:19Speaker 2: money is flowing into this race, especially on the Democratic
- 26:22Speaker 2: side from outside the state. We're going to talk about
- 26:25Speaker 2: that in just a moment. But before we get to that,
- 26:28Speaker 2: I want you to know about a company that is amazing,
- 26:31Speaker 2: that is fighting for your values. And look, we talk
- 26:34Speaker 2: all the time about standing up for faith, family and freedom.
- 26:37Speaker 2: But one of the easiest ways to actually put your
- 26:39Speaker 2: money behind those values is by looking at who gets
- 26:42Speaker 2: your business every month. That's why not only do I use,
- 26:45Speaker 2: but I also recommend to everyone Patriot Mobile. They are
- 26:49Speaker 2: America's only Christian conservative wireless provider. Now, you get premium
- 26:55Speaker 2: priority nationwide service on all three major U.S. networks. You
- 26:59Speaker 2: also get unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots, international roaming, and 100%
- 27:04Speaker 2: U.S.-based customer support. Now, switching has never been easier. You
- 27:08Speaker 2: can keep your phone and keep your same phone number. Now,
- 27:12Speaker 2: here is the best part about Patriot Mobile. When you
- 27:15Speaker 2: pay your bill every month, they give back literally millions
- 27:19Speaker 2: of dollars a year to organizations defending our free speech,
- 27:23Speaker 2: religious liberty, the sanctity of life, the Second Amendment, and
- 27:27Speaker 2: America's future. Patriot Mobile isn't just sitting on the sidelines.
- 27:30Speaker 2: They're on the front lines fighting for our freedoms. So
- 27:34Speaker 2: you make a difference with every call you make. Now
- 27:36Speaker 2: I want to give you a free month of service
- 27:38Speaker 2: to try Patriot Mobile. All you got to do is
- 27:40Speaker 2: go to patriotmobile.com slash verdict. That's PatriotMobile.com slash verdict or
- 27:46Speaker 2: 972 Patriot. And if you use the promo code verdict,
- 27:50Speaker 2: you'll get a free month of service. PatriotMobile.com slash verdict
- 27:53Speaker 2: or 972 Patriot. And you can make that switch and
- 27:56Speaker 2: make a difference today. All right, Senator, let's get into
- 27:59Speaker 2: James Tallarico. You know, this is a guy that really
- 28:01Speaker 2: wants you to believe that he's not a radical, that
- 28:05Speaker 2: he's not extreme, and that those around him are just
- 28:08Speaker 2: middle of the road because he's desperate to try to
- 28:10Speaker 2: lie to people, fool them in Texas today. But his
- 28:14Speaker 2: past keeps coming out to get him, and the people
- 28:17Speaker 2: around him keep saying things, clearly trying to lie to
- 28:21Speaker 2: the American people as well about who he really is.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Well, listen, I think the two most dangerous and the
- 28:26Speaker 3: most radical and extreme candidates in the country are Abdul
- 28:31Speaker 3: El-Sayed and James Tallarico. They are both Democrat nominees in
- 28:36Speaker 3: Michigan and Texas, respectively. And they're both extreme. Now, they're
- 28:40Speaker 3: trying to pretend not to be for the general election voters. Tallarico,
- 28:44Speaker 3: in particular, he tries very hard to claim that he's
- 28:48Speaker 3: a moderate. And the big thing he tries to do
- 28:50Speaker 3: is by saying that he is a Christian minister. And that,
- 28:56Speaker 3: particularly for a voter not paying attention, they say, well, gosh,
- 28:59Speaker 3: if he's a minister, I mean, if he's a Christian,
- 29:03Speaker 3: that's great. He can't be that extreme. And I will say...
- 29:08Speaker 3: every week more facts about his record about his saying
- 29:12Speaker 3: god is non-binary about his saying there's six different genders
- 29:16Speaker 3: about his saying he wants to welcome matt on the
- 29:18Speaker 3: southern border to welcome illegal immigrants about his saying he
- 29:21Speaker 3: wants to dismantle capitalism about his saying he's a quote
- 29:27Speaker 3: christian who hates christianity he's on on video saying that
- 29:31Speaker 3: as well but not only that the church that he
- 29:34Speaker 3: has attended for many, many years is a church in
- 29:39Speaker 3: Austin that is more radical than any church I have
- 29:42Speaker 3: ever seen. And one of the senior pastors there is
- 29:47Speaker 3: this woman who's a lesbian who was caught on undercover film. Now, look,
- 29:52Speaker 3: I am reluctant to question someone else's faith. That is
- 29:56Speaker 3: not for me to do. That is a question for
- 29:58Speaker 3: God to judge. But I will say, if you say
- 30:02Speaker 3: you're a Christian, the absolute heart of Christianity, the Gospels,
- 30:08Speaker 3: you can actually find it in John 3.16. For God
- 30:11Speaker 3: so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son,
- 30:13Speaker 3: that whoever believes in him shall not perish. but have
- 30:17Speaker 3: everlasting life. That is the essence of Christianity, that Jesus came,
- 30:22Speaker 3: died on the cross for our sins, and that if
- 30:23Speaker 3: we accept his forgiveness, if we accept his salvations, our
- 30:30Speaker 3: sins will be forgiven. All of the rest of it,
- 30:32Speaker 3: you can have doctrinal disputes, but that's the absolute heart
- 30:36Speaker 3: of what it means to be a Christian. Now, I
- 30:39Speaker 3: want you to listen to James Tallarico's pastor and what
- 30:44Speaker 3: she and the folks at their church believe.
- 30:48Speaker 4: Do we really believe that a virgin gave birth to
- 30:51Speaker 4: a baby? Yeah, okay. I just don't want to offend
- 30:56Speaker 4: my own common sense. Yeah, no, don't.
- 30:59Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 31:00Speaker 4: Absolutely don't.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Part of what we encourage here is for people to
- 31:04Speaker 1: think for themselves.
- 31:05Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 31:06Speaker 1: And take what makes sense. It's kind of like what
- 31:09Speaker 1: they say in 12-step programs. Take what you want and
- 31:12Speaker 1: leave the rest. And I know that that would greatly
- 31:18Speaker 1: offend your relatives who.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Want to hang on to these archaic rules.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Mary and the virgin birth comes out of the pagan
- 31:30Speaker 1: belief that the gods came down and impregnated people, that.
- 31:35Speaker 4: People were still hanging on to.
- 31:37Speaker 1: During that time, we have no way of knowing if
- 31:40Speaker 1: Jesus really existed any more than we have of knowing
- 31:44Speaker 1: that the original Buddha ever existed. And whether or not
- 31:48Speaker 1: Jesus existed doesn't really matter to me. The fact remains
- 31:55Speaker 1: that that message that was delivered by someone named Jesus, supposedly,
- 32:01Speaker 1: and it could have all been made up for all
- 32:03Speaker 1: I know.
- 32:03Speaker 4: And the God in the Old Testament is not a
- 32:05Speaker 4: loving God. It's a vengeful, killing people kind of God.
- 32:15Speaker 4: This is a lot of mythology. Jesus was political. Jesus
- 32:20Speaker 4: was put.
- 32:20Speaker 1: On that cross not to save us. Jesus was put
- 32:24Speaker 1: on that cross because Rome hated him. And they thought
- 32:27Speaker 1: he was a threat to their domination of that area.
- 32:32Speaker 4: And so they killed him. He didn't die to save
- 32:35Speaker 4: our sins. So he died more as a kind of
- 32:38Speaker 4: a social justice warrior at some point. Yes.
- 32:42Speaker 1: So that makes a whole lot more sense to me
- 32:45Speaker 1: than to say that some God would kill his son
- 32:49Speaker 1: for us.
- 32:50Speaker 4: That doesn't make sense. How does that make up for
- 32:53Speaker 4: all the things I can do? No, it doesn't.
- 32:58Speaker 3: So look, that is a whole lot of things, but
- 33:01Speaker 3: that is not Christianity. When a supposed Christian pastor says,
- 33:08Speaker 3: whether or not Jesus existed doesn't matter to me.
- 33:13Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 33:14Speaker 3: When she says... that it makes no sense that God
- 33:19Speaker 3: would send his son to die for our sins. That
- 33:23Speaker 3: is what it means to be a Christian. You could have, look,
- 33:26Speaker 3: there are doctrinal disputes. Is baptism dunking or sprinkling? Okay, fine.
- 33:32Speaker 3: People can disagree about that stuff. But if you reject
- 33:35Speaker 3: the heart of the gospel, you don't even care if
- 33:38Speaker 3: Jesus existed, You may be a left-wing philosopher, you may
- 33:44Speaker 3: be a left-wing radical activist, but what you are not
- 33:48Speaker 3: is a Christian. And that is the world from which
- 33:54Speaker 3: James Tallarico comes, and we have every reason to believe
- 33:59Speaker 3: that that reflects his belief as well.
- 34:02Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 34:03Speaker 2: It is shocking. And that video and audio there, I
- 34:06Speaker 2: hope everybody listening will share it wherever you can on
- 34:09Speaker 2: social media. It's important to get out there to know
- 34:12Speaker 2: who James Tallarico actually is and what he believes. This
- 34:14Speaker 2: is what he believes. This is his pastor. This is
- 34:16Speaker 2: the church he's at. Don't forget, we do this show Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Hit that subscribe or auto-download button wherever you get your podcasts.
- 34:23Speaker 2: You can also watch this podcast on YouTube as well.
- 34:27Speaker 2: And the Senator and I will see you back here
- 34:29Speaker 2: next week on this radio station.
