Speaker 1: More importantly, though, we're going to talk about what it means to actually live and embody these aspects, so each week, I'm going to share stories, lessons, guidance to help you navigate life's challenges and really own your magic.
• 0:44
Speaker 1: So if you're ready to step up, take control and show up as the most authentic version of you, let's begin.
• 0:50
Speaker 1: Welcome back to another episode of the Emotional Mastery Podcast.
• 0:56
Speaker 1: My name is Rochelle.
• 0:56
Speaker 1: I am a holistic health coach with a passion for human design, so I teach both.
• 1:02
  Speaker 1: I coach both.
• 1:03
Speaker 1: My goal is to guide you from confusion to clarity, from self-doubt to self-trust, from misalignment to soulful alignment, and that's really through the body.
• 1:14
Speaker 1: My goal and mission and passion has always been rooted in the body.
• 1:18
Speaker 1: I am a Taurus sun and a Leo moon and Leo rising, and so and my mid heaven is in Taurus, and so this is such a important factor for me and my clients is really getting you in tune with your body.
• 1:31
Speaker 1: I recently made a huge decision that I don't want to say it's not causing me stress, because I'm feeling a little bit stressed about it, but I know it was rooted in alignment.
• 1:41
Speaker 1: But I was reflecting and somebody was supporting me in that reflection and I realized that I entered into that situation not following my strategy.
• 1:52
Speaker 1: So for me, that means waiting for the invitation Instead of waiting for an invitation, sorry, not waiting for an invitation, waiting to respond.
• 1:58
Speaker 1: I'm not a projector, I'm a manifesting generator, so I am designed to wait to respond, and this can be to anything, right, like we're responding to life, but it needs to be coming from our external, from outside of ourselves, right.
• 2:09
Speaker 1: And so I initiated rather than waiting to respond to something.
• 2:15
Speaker 1: And also it was happening during Mercury retrograde.
• 2:18
Speaker 1: So, in reflection, there was a lot that was going on and it felt so misaligned the entire time I was in the situation.
• 2:27
Speaker 1: So I followed my authority and I decided to leave that situation.
• 2:33
Speaker 1: And I feel really proud of myself for following my authority, because my emotions have always been the thing that's kind of run the show, that in a lot of ways, I have felt have I don't want to say held me back, but a little bit have hindered me, because I have leaned so much into my emotions and believed my emotions rather than sort of pausing and breathing and stepping back and waiting.
• 2:58
Speaker 1: And it's something that I've worked really hard on and just really getting tuned into my body and what it's telling me, worked really hard on and just really getting tuned into my body and what it's telling me and this is again so much of what I teach and coach and guide people is to really attune to your body and this means cleaning up.
• 3:15
Speaker 1: You know your routines.
• 3:17
Speaker 1: And one question that I really want to pose to you so if you journal which I will always, always if you work with me, you know that I'm always recommending journaling.
• 3:27
Speaker 1: It is my favorite thing to do because I think it's such a powerful, not only self-reflection tool but it's also a powerful way to get things out of your mind onto paper and just kind of have it in front of you.
• 3:39
Speaker 1: But a really powerful question is what is your definition of success?
• 3:43
Speaker 1: And I think around this time around New Year's, when we're sort of thinking of the future, when we're thinking of the next year in business, we're, you know, q1, we're really like setting our goals for the rest of the year.
• 3:53
Speaker 1: What does success mean to you?
• 3:56
Speaker 1: Right, this means something different for everyone, and it might mean something different for you now than it meant for you a year ago.
• 4:01
Speaker 1: My definition of success and I've always had to revisit this because, like I was telling someone yesterday, I've held a lot of shadow in the past around enjoying luxury.
• 4:15
Speaker 1: Now I'm again Taurus.
• 4:16
Speaker 1: Sun ruled by Venus, and especially this year for me, is ruled by Venus.
• 4:21
  Speaker 1: I'm 38.
• 4:22
Speaker 1: This rules the third house.
• 4:23
Speaker 1: My third house is Libra, which is ruled by Venus.
• 4:26
Speaker 1: I have a lot of Venusian stuff in my chart and so, of course, like Venus is luxury, it's money, it's relationships, it's the feminine, and I held a lot of shame around really enjoying those things when I was younger, because we're so taught to be like in this masculine right To be assertive, to take action.
• 4:46
Speaker 1: And it's not that you can't do those things and you're feminine, but the feminine archetype in general is more receptive, it's open to receiving.
• 4:53
Speaker 1: It's more fluid right.
• 4:55
Speaker 1: The masculine is the go-getter, the action, the assertion, that kind of energy.
• 5:00
Speaker 1: And so, again, I held a lot of shame and guilt, I guess around really enjoying those things, and it's something that I've really had to accept.
• 5:09
Speaker 1: And I was watching a Instagram reel and it was I don't even know what his name was, but he was like women, why are you not out there expecting or demanding to be treated like a goddess?
• 5:20
Speaker 1: And I was like why aren't we Like I absolutely love and this is not like I don't know, I'll say it and then backtrack on my words but I love being in my receptive, slow, I love to read and just kind of flow with my day and move in a way that feels really good for me.
• 5:38
Speaker 1: However, again, we've been so conditioned to like, do things a certain way as the feminine and anyway, that's sort of like off topic, but my point being that when we can redefine what success looks for us, looks like for us, like for me, that includes luxury, that includes freedom, that includes being in my feminine flow and doing things the way that feel good to me, right, it doesn't necessarily mean I'm out there making millions of dollars face forward, like whatever that definition, it's not like the hustle culture to me.
• 6:14
Speaker 1: I don't value that and really having to be honest about that being like huh, that's interesting, you know, because if you had asked me a year or two ago, those are the things that I would have said.
• 6:25
Speaker 1: Success looks like Hustle, work hard, make tons of money, you know, and that's shifted and that's okay.
• 6:30
Speaker 1: And so what I really want to talk about today, I want to touch on tracking the transits in support of you and your business, but also like looking at aspects of your chart that will support you in gaining that success right.
• 6:46
Speaker 1: So human design and astrology, and if you are not on the unapologetically you seven-day free challenge, you can sign up below.
• 6:55
Speaker 1: It's seven days of really leaning into your type, strategy and authority, your profile, and we talk about nervous system regulation, because none of this means anything.
• 7:04
Speaker 1: If we can't be regulated in our system, if we're coming from an activated nervous system, if we're constantly in fight, flight, freeze or fawn mode, we can't really be doing the work and we can't be stepping into and leaning into our type, strategy and authority and all those things.
• 7:16
Speaker 1: So that is down below, again, free.
• 7:19
  Speaker 1: Seven-day challenge.
• 7:20
Speaker 1: There's action steps in there, there's journaling prompts in there.
• 7:22
Speaker 1: It is so good I've gotten feedback already that it is just like phenomenal and there's so much juiciness in there because I if you've listened to this for a while, if you follow me on Instagram I don't like half-assed things I'm so passionate about this and I want to give you as much as I can.
• 7:36
Speaker 1: With that being said, that's available.
• 7:37
Speaker 1: Holistic Human Design Academy is available.
• 7:39
Speaker 1: I am actually sitting after this to go add some more content into the portal.
• 7:44
Speaker 1: So that is available.
• 7:45
Speaker 1: And one on one coaching packages are available as well.
• 7:49
Speaker 1: So that is three months health coaching infused with human design and astrology, because I am so passionate about those things and I think they really help support us in getting aligned with ourself.
• 8:02
Speaker 1: Right Again, we're going from chaos and confusion to clarity, from self-doubt to self-trust.
• 8:07
Speaker 1: Like, again, that step that I made, following my authority, was so much more in alignment and I, although the outcome is unknown, I think that's part of trusting our intuition.
• 8:19
Speaker 1: Part of trusting our authority is we don't always know the why right, that kind of comes later.
• 8:24
Speaker 1: Like, why am I making this decision?
• 8:25
Speaker 1: I don't know, but I know that it feels right for me.
• 8:28
Speaker 1: So, starting from there, those are the ways that you can work with me.
• 8:33
Speaker 1: All the links are down below.
• 8:34
Speaker 1: Send me a DM, follow me on Instagram at Rochelle Christian R-O-C-H-E-L-L-E.
• 8:40
  Speaker 1: Dot.
• 8:40
  Speaker 1: C-h-r-i-s-t-i-a-n-e.
• 8:42
  Speaker 1: I dot.
• 8:46
  Speaker 1: C-h-r-i-s-t-i-a-n-e.
• 8:47
Speaker 1: I am creating a report that will be available within the next couple days.
• 8:49
Speaker 1: I will drop the link below if it is finished by the time this comes out.
• 8:51
Speaker 1: I'm hoping to finish it today, and this is your human design astrology report and it's just put everything in a really simple, easy way that you can just kind of access, where you're not trying to like piece things together from all over the place.
• 9:05
Speaker 1: I've put a lot of energy in this.
• 9:07
  Speaker 1: I love it.
• 9:08
  Speaker 1: I think it's so good.
• 9:08
Speaker 1: So that'll be available soon too.
• 9:11
Speaker 1: But what I want to talk about today is aligning yourself to create success in whatever that means for you.
• 9:18
Speaker 1: So, again, we've defined what success means.
• 9:21
Speaker 1: If you did not journal it down, write it down, pause it, come back to it, write that question down and revisit it, but really defining what does success look like for you?
• 9:28
Speaker 1: What does it feel like in your body?
• 9:31
Speaker 1: Right, for me, it feels like peace.
• 9:33
Speaker 1: It feels like freedom.
• 9:34
Speaker 1: It feels slow, it feels abundant.
• 9:38
Speaker 1: Right, it feels like I'm able to sit in that luxury, whether that means getting a massage or doing yoga or just eating a really nice meal.
• 9:46
  Speaker 1: Let's be honest, I'm a Taurus.
• 9:48
Speaker 1: The food is everything.
• 9:50
Speaker 1: Whatever that looks like for you, write it down, define it, and then the first thing we're going to look at is, in your human design chart, your type, strategy and authority.
• 9:59
Speaker 1: Now, I know you've heard this so many times, so many times on this podcast.
• 10:03
Speaker 1: If you are out there just researching and trying to piece it all together of what that means for you type, strategy and authority, ra, the man who downloaded the system, will say that it's great to know all the nuanced little details of your chart, but if you're not following your type, strategy and authority, all of it means nothing.
• 10:21
Speaker 1: Right, when you follow your type, strategy and and authority, the rest will naturally fall into place.
• 10:26
Speaker 1: So this is the best place to begin.
• 10:28
Speaker 1: That experimentation process is like what does it feel like in your body?
• 10:31
Speaker 1: What does it look like?
• 10:32
  Speaker 1: Right, like type.
• 10:33
Speaker 1: We have our energy type.
• 10:35
Speaker 1: That type is your energetics.
• 10:37
Speaker 1: How does your energy, how does your aura present?
• 10:41
Speaker 1: Sorry, now there's trash cans outside.
• 10:43
Speaker 1: My dog's probably gonna start barking a minute, so we're going to try and get through this as much as we can without her going crazy.
• 10:48
Speaker 1: So again, that type for you.
• 10:52
Speaker 1: So you're either going to be a generator type which is split between manifesting generators and pure generators, manifestors, projectors or reflectors Every type has a different energy.
• 11:01
Speaker 1: Every type has a different aura.
• 11:02
Speaker 1: Right, the generator aura is open and enveloping.
• 11:05
Speaker 1: We are calling things in from the universe to give us things to respond to.
• 11:10
Speaker 1: Right, we're constantly responding to things from outside of us.
• 11:13
Speaker 1: It could be as simple as a bird outside starts chirping and you whistle right, like we're constantly in response to life.
• 11:20
Speaker 1: We're constantly, and when we're doing things that light us up life, the universe is going to bring us things to respond to.
• 11:28
Speaker 1: Generators hold a lot of conditioning because we often come into our mind right, or we want to initiate.
• 11:33
Speaker 1: I think a lot of types want to initiate rather than wait, because it's this funny, whatever the word I'm looking for is where we're all taught to initiate go get it, go do like, take action and yet the type that is actually designed to do that people seek to control.
• 11:52
Speaker 1: I think there's that underlying energetic sense that we get that we're like, oh no, but they're actually can do that.
• 11:59
Speaker 1: Let's calm them down or let's control them.
• 12:02
Speaker 1: So, manifestors they have a closed and repelling aura, because they are the only type that is really designed to initiate.
• 12:08
Speaker 1: But even still, there is a slight pause even in that initiation.
• 12:12
Speaker 1: Right, their strategy, which we'll get to in a minute, is to inform.
• 12:14
Speaker 1: Are you informing people?
• 12:16
Speaker 1: Because you do make massive impact.
• 12:19
Speaker 1: Are you letting people know that this will affect them?
• 12:21
Speaker 1: It's not to ask for permission, it's not to ask people to give you their opinions or anything.
• 12:27
Speaker 1: It's just to let them know.
• 12:28
Speaker 1: Hey, I care about you.
• 12:29
Speaker 1: This is what I'm going to do.
• 12:30
Speaker 1: I just want you to know.
• 12:31
Speaker 1: I'm informing you because when you don't see me or you don't know what the hell happened to me, you'll know where I'm at.
• 12:36
Speaker 1: Right, that's really what it is Now.
• 12:47
Speaker 1: Manifestor children were meant to teach them to ask for permission because when they get older, it'll help them easier.
• 12:51
Speaker 1: Inform people, right, because the example that I love is that if you have a manifestor child and they want to go to the park, well, that child's just going to up and go to the park.
• 12:59
Speaker 1: Well, it's not really safe.
• 13:00
Speaker 1: Right, there are strangers.
• 13:02
Speaker 1: It might be far from the house, it might be across a busy street.
• 13:05
Speaker 1: If you don't ask for permission, your parents won't know where you're at and that closed and repelling aura that the manifestors have is designed so that that child going to the park will repel the aura of others, will repel situations that would hinder them from getting there.
• 13:21
Speaker 1: However, again, if you're not telling your parents, or whatever the case may be, they're going to get afraid.
• 13:27
Speaker 1: Ra, who is the man who downloaded the system, is a manifester and he talks about how he just like up and went out when he was a kid and, like, went into the forest behind his house and nobody could find him and they called the police.
• 13:38
Speaker 1: And that's that manifester aura, right when it's like, if you're not asking for permission as a child, or teaching your manifestor child to ask for permission, those are sort of the consequences that could happen.
• 13:47
Speaker 1: And again, it just teaches you to inform.
• 13:49
Speaker 1: When you're older, projectors have a focused and penetrating aura, because projectors are here to be guides.
• 13:55
Speaker 1: You are here to lead, to guide.
• 13:57
Speaker 1: Typically, you're going to attract the generators, so just being in a room will allow the generators.
• 14:02
Speaker 1: They will come to you, they will find you, don't worry, right.
• 14:05
Speaker 1: And so that aura of yours allows you to really get to know the other, get to know what they're good at, where they would thrive, what excites them.
• 14:14
Speaker 1: So if you're thinking about a workplace situation, you can see those gifts in people.
• 14:19
Speaker 1: Right, I love projectors.
• 14:21
Speaker 1: They tend to have this like very distinguished or unique energy print, blueprint, I guess signature that I find is very common among projectors.
• 14:35
Speaker 1: It's it's the sort of like soft quality that they have and I love it.
• 14:40
  Speaker 1: It's it.
• 14:41
Speaker 1: I like I can feel what I'm in the presence of projector, or like when I look at somebody's chart and they find out their projector, I'm like, oh, that makes sense, I could feel it Right, um, and so again, that that focus and penetrating aura.
• 14:51
Speaker 1: And then then reflectors have a sampling aura and so they are really here to reflect back their environment.
• 14:57
Speaker 1: So of course they have to sample and taste everything that's coming at them.
• 15:01
Speaker 1: So, again, that type is so important to the way that you show up in the world, the way that your energy, your aura really engages with the world.
• 15:36
Speaker 1: No-transcript that means you can head over to the blog or listen to previous posts for a visual of what chakras or what centers those are that are defined.
• 15:49
Speaker 1: So, basically, if you have a defined sacral, which is the second square from the bottom, if you're looking at a chart, I'll drop a chart.
• 15:54
Speaker 1: Actually, I'll drop a chart, I'm going to write it down.
• 15:56
Speaker 1: I'll drop a chart in the show notes with the different energy types.
• 16:00
Speaker 1: If I forget, dm me if you want to see it visually.
• 16:04
Speaker 1: But OK, so that defined sacral and a motor connected to the throat creates a manifesting generator, but again, you need to wait to respond.
• 16:12
Speaker 1: So, waiting for life to give you something to respond to and, like I said, this most recent situation that I was so confused of like, why it was so misaligned on top from, you know, apart from it being Mercury retrograde, when I initiated and took this opportunity, I didn't again I initiated, I did not wait to respond.
• 16:33
Speaker 1: And then you have manifestors, which again, that's I did not wait to respond.
• 16:38
Speaker 1: And then you have manifestors, which, again, that's to inform.
• 16:40
Speaker 1: We sort of talked about that, informing those around you because you do create massive impact.
• 16:44
Speaker 1: You want them to know that your action and decision will impact them.
• 16:45
Speaker 1: Then we have projectors wait for an invitation.
• 16:47
Speaker 1: Right, reflectors, or sorry, projectors, want to be recognized.
• 16:51
Speaker 1: This is their signature, is recognition.
• 16:54
Speaker 1: So when, typically the dynamic would be generators recognizing a projector and inviting them to do something Right, and so when they wait for that invitation.
• 17:04
  Speaker 1: It's because they're being recognized.
• 17:06
Speaker 1: Then they can bring it through their authority and see if it's aligned for them and then yes or no and move forward with it.
• 17:10
Speaker 1: The projector recognition the projector invitation there are so many projector accounts on Instagram that are really beautiful.
• 17:19
Speaker 1: If you are a projector and I'm sure if you are a projector listening you probably follow them just to really understand the dynamics of what that energetic invitation feels like.
• 17:28
Speaker 1: I am not a projector, so I can tell you what I've learned through others, through interacting with others, but at the end of the day, if you're a projector, this is your own experience in really understanding what that invitation means for you.
• 17:40
Speaker 1: Because there are energetic invitations, there are verbal invitations.
• 17:43
Speaker 1: You can ask leading questions to get an invitation right, instead of just like throwing it out there like do you want my advice or you know whatever that looks like for you?
• 17:51
Speaker 1: Would you like me to explain this or something right To be able to get that invitation?
• 17:56
Speaker 1: And then reflectors wait a lunar cycle, which can feel really frustrating.
• 18:00
Speaker 1: I would imagine having to wait 28 days for the bigger things.
• 18:03
Speaker 1: Obviously, we're not waiting 28 days to pick our next meal, but just giving yourself time right, and then we have our authority.
• 18:10
Speaker 1: This is your decision-making strategy, this is how you best make decisions.
• 18:15
Speaker 1: So there is emotional, sacral, splenic, ego-manifested, ego-projected, self-projected, environmental and lunar, whatever.
• 18:24
Speaker 1: Your authority is really leaning into that and following that.
• 18:27
Speaker 1: Now there are so many other aspects that will really help you in success, and I'm going to talk a little bit about the astrology behind that.
• 18:35
Speaker 1: And when I talk about certain planets, look to what gate they are in your human design.
• 18:40
Speaker 1: When we're looking at human design and success, of course we want to look at.
• 18:44
Speaker 1: So the thing is a lot of times with human design, we come to the system and are looking at the things that are wrong with us and I'm air quoting it wrong.
• 18:54
Speaker 1: There's nothing wrong with us, right, but we see the things that are open or we see our conditioning and we think that it's wrong, rather than focusing on the things that are right, rather than focusing on our gifts.
• 19:05
Speaker 1: Because every undefined or open center you have in your chart, yes, holds conditioning and also holds beautiful gifts for you, and so, looking through the lens of those gifts.
• 19:18
Speaker 1: So I have an undefined G center, I have an undefined ego.
• 19:21
Speaker 1: This would be so easy because these are massive shadow points in my chart.
• 19:24
Speaker 1: So it would be so easy to be like I'm just not good at that, I'm not this, I'm not that.
• 19:28
Speaker 1: Instead of looking at the gift of like, wow, I get to be a chameleon, what a great quality to have as a coach.
• 19:34
Speaker 1: I get to come into a situation with a client and I get to mirror you back to you.
• 19:38
Speaker 1: I get to sit here and hold the space energetically for you because I have this beautiful wisdom and gift within my heart that opens me up to being here with you and to hold the space in a unique way right and undefined ego.
• 19:55
Speaker 1: I don't have to prove myself.
• 19:56
Speaker 1: I am worthy as I am without having to prove myself to anybody.
• 20:00
Speaker 1: I may not be able to up and have the willpower to see something through, but then I look at my life.
• 20:07
Speaker 1: I've quit smoking, I've quit alcohol.
• 20:09
Speaker 1: There's a lot of things that I have done that take enormous amounts of willpower right, and I also think with the ego and with willpower I think it was in, uh, atomic habits.
• 20:21
Speaker 1: I could be wrong.
• 20:21
Speaker 1: I think it was in that book, but he was talking about.
• 20:23
Speaker 1: Willpower doesn't mean that you're constantly in the face of the thing that you have no willpower against willpower is avoiding the thing right, so that you're not constantly having to be tested by it.
• 20:35
Speaker 1: So, for an example, with alcohol, if I quit alcohol, it doesn't mean that I'm constantly going to bars and saying no, it means that I'm avoiding the places that might tempt me.
• 20:45
Speaker 1: Right, that's more true willpower than constantly being like jumping into the fire.
• 20:50
Speaker 1: I have a whole other tangent I can go on when it comes to food and the reason why food is such a challenging one, but maybe I'll have like a health episode going, but anyway.
• 20:59
Speaker 1: So finding out what your undefined centers are and where the gifts are in those, and then, of course, your defined centers is where you're creating energy from within.
• 21:07
Speaker 1: I have a defined throat, so my gift comes in my communication.
• 21:11
  Speaker 1: Right.
• 21:12
Speaker 1: I have a defined solar plexus.
• 21:14
Speaker 1: My gift comes in my ability to feel and ride my wave, to make decisions based on what is right for me.
• 21:19
Speaker 1: I have a defined spleen, so my gift comes in making decisions or feeling into situations that will support my health.
• 21:30
  Speaker 1: Right.
• 21:31
Speaker 1: Health, immunity, fear, survival that's like what the spleen is right, so I have gifts and talents there.
• 21:37
Speaker 1: I have a defined Ajna, so I don't hold the shadow of what if I'm wrong, I have a set way of processing things.
• 21:44
Speaker 1: And if I'm wrong, cool, tell me why I'm wrong and we'll move on right.
• 21:49
Speaker 1: If you have an undefined Ajna, a lot of people with an undefined head kind of hold that shadow of being uncertain, when really the beautiful gift is that you're able to see things from so many different perspectives.
• 21:58
Speaker 1: Right, there is a shadow in having a defined head where we can be really focused on the way that we see things and our perspective and our point of view.
• 22:05
Speaker 1: So there is the challenge of opening yourself up to be like huh, why am I wrong?
• 22:10
Speaker 1: Or what's another way to look at this.
• 22:12
Speaker 1: So looking at your defined and undefined centers can really support you in achieving success in whatever that looks like.
• 22:19
Speaker 1: Remember, we defined success in the beginning.
• 22:21
Speaker 1: So whatever success looks like for you can be found in the gifts of your defined and undefined centers.
• 22:26
Speaker 1: Right, like leaning into the gifts rather than holding onto the shadows of those centers.
• 22:31
Speaker 1: I used to hold a lot, a lot of shadow when I was younger around that undefined G center, around being in new situations with new people and finding myself within those situations, because who I am enjoys sampling other people.
• 22:47
Speaker 1: Right, I like to see.
• 22:48
Speaker 1: Why do you like this thing?
• 22:49
Speaker 1: What do you like, what do you enjoy, how do you do things?
• 22:53
Speaker 1: And it's not because I'm trying to take that on as my own, it's because I genuinely want to understand energetically in my body why right.
• 23:02
Speaker 1: And so being again being able to see that as a gift, having an open heart and undefined heart in human design, gifts me with this beautiful ability to hold the space and mirror people back to them.
• 23:13
Speaker 1: And it also takes discernment and boundaries when I'm in relationship with people who have defined hearts and then I'm reflecting them back and then they're liking their own mirror within me.
• 23:26
Speaker 1: So it's really discerning, like what's toxic, what's healthy, how can I show up, how can I hold space?
• 23:31
Speaker 1: What boundaries do I need to set right?
• 23:32
Speaker 1: So that's a whole other lesson.
• 23:34
Speaker 1: But when we're just talking about success, right, like type strategy, authority, and then really looking at your defined and undefined centers and where those gifts lie within those, now in astrology, uh, we're looking to look at our earth, or, sorry, our sun.
• 23:45
Speaker 1: Our sun earth combo is our incarnation cross in human design, so that conscious sun earth, unconscious sun earth that is holds the energy of your purpose.
• 23:54
Speaker 1: Now in human design, everything that's on the personality side, everything on the conscious side.
• 23:59
Speaker 1: So, depending on where you get your chart, everything that's in black would be on the right-hand side of the chart.
• 24:05
Speaker 1: All of that is your astrology chart.
• 24:07
Speaker 1: The body side, the design side, is a whole other astrology chart and I think it's really fascinating to pull it, but we'll be focusing on the conscious astrology chart.
• 24:21
Speaker 1: I'm already thinking about so many different avenues.
• 24:22
Speaker 1: I can go with this episode, so we'll see how much we can touch on, because I'm already like reeling with like this is success.
• 24:27
Speaker 1: I mean, there's a lot to it, right, and that's why I said really focusing on that type strategy and authority in your undefined and defined centers will create the framework and the base of success and the rest is like buildable on that.
• 24:39
Speaker 1: So then you have your sun and your earth right.
• 24:41
Speaker 1: That sun sign this is who you are, right, it's your core essence.
• 24:46
Speaker 1: It's the sun, is the brightest thing in the sky.
• 24:48
Speaker 1: It's the way you show up in the world.
• 24:49
Speaker 1: It's also who we're learning to be through the lens of our rising sign.
• 24:56
Speaker 1: Right, so we have our big three type strategy and authority and elementally, like, check the elements.
• 24:59
Speaker 1: So earth, air, fire, water this also.
• 25:01
  Speaker 1: It's.
• 25:01
Speaker 1: It's just so powerful of how it all works together.
• 25:05
Speaker 1: But understanding your, your, your sun and then the earth is the exact opposite.
• 25:10
Speaker 1: So my sun is at 24 degrees of Taurus, which means my earth is at 24 degrees of Scorpio.
• 25:16
Speaker 1: So if your sun is in Aries, libra is your earth.
• 25:20
Speaker 1: If your sun is in Taurus, scorpio is your earth.
• 25:22
Speaker 1: If your sun is in Gemini, Sagittarius is your earth.
• 25:25
Speaker 1: If your sun is in Cancer, capricorn is your earth.
• 25:28
Speaker 1: If your sun is in Leo, aquarius is your earth.
• 25:30
Speaker 1: And if your sun is Virgo, pisces is your earth and vice versa, right?
• 25:34
Speaker 1: If your son is in Libra, aries is your earth.
• 25:38
Speaker 1: If your son is in Scorpio, taurus is your earth.
• 25:40
Speaker 1: If your son is in Sagittarius, gemini is your earth.
• 25:42
Speaker 1: If your son is in Capricorn, cancer is earth.
• 25:44
Speaker 1: If your son is an Aquarius, leo is your earth.
• 25:46
Speaker 1: If your son is in Pisces, virgo is your earth.
• 25:48
Speaker 1: So all these oppositions really hold lessons to each other.
• 25:51
Speaker 1: And the earth energy is so important because if we are not grounded in our earth energy, we cannot shine in the sun's light.
• 26:00
Speaker 1: If we are not grounded in our earth energy, we cannot shine in the sun's light.
• 26:06
Speaker 1: So the shadow of whatever that earth energy is is probably a theme you're going to be feeling coming up again and again and again and again in your life.
• 26:18
Speaker 1: Because I know my chart best.
• 26:19
Speaker 1: Obviously, I study it all the time and I live it, I embody it.
• 26:23
Speaker 1: My sun is in Taurus, in gate 23.
• 26:27
Speaker 1: So we're combining now astrology and human design With the report that I'm about to put out.
• 26:35
Speaker 1: The last, like I don't know 12, 13, 14, the last half or the last quarter of the report is exactly what I'm about to go through.
• 26:45
Speaker 1: So it gives you journaling space.
• 26:47
Speaker 1: There are cheat sheets in there so that you can actually journal this out and see it and put it together.
• 26:51
Speaker 1: There's a little paragraph that you can literally drag and drop your signs to get an idea of the energy of that.
• 26:59
Speaker 1: So my son is in Taurus, which is sensual, it's grounded, it's the builder, it is material, right, earthy nature, food.
• 27:12
Speaker 1: All these things are held within Taurus and that gate is gate 23.
• 27:17
Speaker 1: Gate 23 is the gate of simplicity.
• 27:19
Speaker 1: I am literally designed to take complex issues and make them simple.
• 27:25
Speaker 1: Through my own trial and error, through my own understanding, through my own reading, knowledge, research, I'm taking complex issues and making them simple.
• 27:34
Speaker 1: When I'm complicating things or over explaining.
• 27:37
  Speaker 1: I know that I'm not.
• 27:38
Speaker 1: I'm misaligned in some way.
• 27:39
Speaker 1: Something's not quite working, like I will catch myself over explaining or finding my words are here and there and not quite forming great sentences.
• 27:48
Speaker 1: And I know that I'm misaligned, especially because that energy is in my throat.
• 27:53
Speaker 1: Gate 23 is in the throat.
• 27:54
Speaker 1: So this is literally communication.
• 27:56
Speaker 1: This is a huge piece of whatever I'm designed to do in this world.
• 28:00
Speaker 1: When I was in my shadow, when I was in low self-worth, when I was in toxic and abusive relationships, that was the thing that will always stand out how I felt, like literally my throat would hurt, because it was like I was holding myself back to the point that it hurt.
• 28:17
Speaker 1: I could feel it.
• 28:18
Speaker 1: It was like I was standing behind like a glass, or I was.
• 28:21
Speaker 1: It was like I was standing inside like a glass cage or something and just like screaming, but nobody could hear me Right.
• 28:28
  Speaker 1: So that's huge.
• 28:30
Speaker 1: But that earth, so my sun again, is in Taurus, in gate 23.
• 28:35
Speaker 1: That's the energy of my sun.
• 28:37
Speaker 1: That's how I'm here to shine.
• 28:38
Speaker 1: Those are the elements energetics that I will embody in my sun Now that earth is at gate 43 in Scorpio.
• 28:49
Speaker 1: Now Scorpio, the challenges of Scorpio, the lessons of Scorpio, the shadows of Scorpio are in trust.
• 28:54
Speaker 1: Right, can I trust people?
• 28:56
  Speaker 1: Scorpio shadow?
• 28:58
Speaker 1: But that gate 43, the shadow of that is deafness.
• 29:18
Speaker 1: So, essentially, when I'm in my shadow, a, I'm overly complicating things and B I'm not hearing.
• 29:25
Speaker 1: I'm allowing my mind to get so loud that I can't hear what's coming from outside of me.
• 29:30
Speaker 1: I'm literally tuning it out.
• 29:31
  Speaker 1: I'm like deaf.
• 29:32
Speaker 1: It's like I'm a child sitting with my hands on my ears, Right, like that.
• 29:36
Speaker 1: Is that, that shadow?
• 29:37
Speaker 1: And that's a theme that will come up over and over and over again until you integrate it and embody it.
• 29:41
Speaker 1: And so that opposition is always going to be not about rejecting the other side, it's about integrating them.
• 29:48
  Speaker 1: Right?
• 29:49
Speaker 1: Taurus cannot be its fullest expression of self without the lessons of Scorpio.
• 29:54
  Speaker 1: It doesn't work.
• 29:57
Speaker 1: So, checking what that dynamic is for you, again, that sun-earth, and that's part of your purpose.
• 30:02
Speaker 1: The next thing we're going to look at is our midheaven.
• 30:06
Speaker 1: So this is the top point of your chart.
• 30:07
Speaker 1: You can go to my website, actually rochellechristiancom slash human-design-chart.
• 30:15
Speaker 1: I'll leave the link below and you can pull your human design and your astrology chart so you can see both of them.
• 30:19
Speaker 1: But that MC, that midheaven, that is the top part of your chart and that is the energy that you are here to embody when it comes to your business, right.
• 30:31
Speaker 1: Like, how are you presenting yourself?
• 30:32
Speaker 1: How are people experiencing yourself?
• 30:34
Speaker 1: For me, this is still in Taurus, right?
• 30:36
Speaker 1: So this Taurus energy for me is a lot being grounded, being kind of slow, which is funny because we'll get to in a second.
• 30:42
Speaker 1: My moon and rising are in Leo, which is super fiery and super fast and super quick and super passionate.
• 30:47
Speaker 1: So it's this beautiful juxtaposition almost of combining these two qualities that are not compatible in any way and yet are both housed within my system, and so it's taken a long time to accept that.
• 31:00
Speaker 1: But again, those elements too are really important.
• 31:02
Speaker 1: So, again, your moon is how you nourish yourself, how you take care of yourself.
• 31:07
Speaker 1: This is sort of like a behind the scenes thing of what you need to do for yourself, whatever that moon is.
• 31:12
Speaker 1: So for me, that's Leo, leo moon, and it's in gate 33.
• 31:17
Speaker 1: For me, gate 33, that's the gate of privacy.
• 31:19
Speaker 1: Like I have to come back and basically be.
• 31:23
Speaker 1: Why are words escaping me right now?
• 31:25
Speaker 1: I have to be introverted, or that's not the word I'm looking for, but I have to come into myself, introspective, right, and be able to move through experiences and understand them to then move on to the next one.
• 31:35
Speaker 1: But I have to have that privacy period and when we think about Leo, leo is so dramatic and so out there we think of like actors and stuff, like they have to have that alone time to sort of like release, and when they don't, it becomes overwhelming, right.
• 31:47
Speaker 1: And then your rising sign.
• 31:48
Speaker 1: So your rising sign is the lens that you're viewing the world from, because the sun is who we're growing into through the lens of our rising sun.
• 32:00
Speaker 1: And so what is your rising sun?
• 32:02
Speaker 1: What element is it?
• 32:03
Speaker 1: You know, earth, air, fire, water.
• 32:05
Speaker 1: What's happening in your rising?
• 32:07
Speaker 1: This is your appearance.
• 32:08
Speaker 1: It's what people tend to meet when they first meet you.
• 32:11
Speaker 1: I always kind of had a little bit of shadow around this because I was like I don't know if I really resonate, like do people see me as being Leo when they first meet me?
• 32:17
Speaker 1: And then I forget how many tattoos I have sometimes and I'm like that in itself kind of stands out right, like I have these colorful, bright tattoos all over my arms and yeah, so I'm like that.
• 32:30
Speaker 1: That in itself is.
• 32:30
Speaker 1: Is Leo right, generous, warm.
• 32:32
  Speaker 1: I smile a lot.
• 32:33
Speaker 1: People will always say that like, especially like workplace situations, like you smile more than like anybody that I've that I know.
• 32:39
Speaker 1: And it's not to say that I'm always in that state.
• 32:40
Speaker 1: Trust me, I have a lot of the the emotional, intense, melancholic, like emotional wave characteristics.
• 32:48
Speaker 1: But I try and sort of experience that in my own right that is the moon, that that dramatic, bold, sort of intense emotional experience.
• 32:56
Speaker 1: But that's for me, right For me and the people closest to me that typically experience that side of me.
• 33:02
Speaker 1: So those that big three, and then your midheaven.
• 33:07
Speaker 1: Now, the opposite of that is your IC, your imam quayle I've probably butchered that word, but this is typically in your fourth house, depends down at the bottom.
• 33:15
Speaker 1: It'll say IC in your chart.
• 33:17
Speaker 1: This is where you need to spread your roots right.
• 33:20
Speaker 1: And again, remember all of this is when we combine it and when we embody these qualities is attributing to our success in whatever way that looks for you right.
• 33:29
Speaker 1: So for me, if we just take my big two, or, sorry, my big three and my MC, so if we just take my sun, moon rising, and MC my midheaven, talking about success, in order to be successful for me, I need the passion, I need the fire, I need the creativity and I need the groundedness, I need the sensuality, I need the food, right, like there's so much to it.
• 33:50
Speaker 1: And our, I see, is, if we're looking from a whole sign perspective, it's ruled by cancer in the moon.
• 33:55
Speaker 1: So this is our inner world, our inner experience of ourself, our home life.
• 33:59
Speaker 1: This is our roots, our ancestors.
• 34:01
Speaker 1: We have to just remember the duality we were talking about, the oppositions of your sun and your earth energy.
• 34:05
Speaker 1: It's the same thing as your MC and your IC.
• 34:07
Speaker 1: We cannot shine, we cannot be seen from that midheaven perspective, if we're not rooted down in whatever sign that IC is in right.
• 34:17
Speaker 1: So for me, my midheaven is in Taurus, my IC is in Scorpio.
• 34:22
Speaker 1: I have to have the intensity and the passion and the love and the fierceness, I guess the emotional quality, the watery, the feminine water, of being rooted in my home right, like I need that in order to embody this grounded energy.
• 34:38
Speaker 1: Right, it's like I have to funnel, which also works kind of with even though they're different elements with that sun and moon and rising with the fire and the earth, like I have to like get that out in a place that's safe and secure for me to really embody that Taurus energy out in the public.
• 34:56
  Speaker 1: And then Mercury.
• 34:56
Speaker 1: So Mercury is your communication, it's your mind.
• 34:59
Speaker 1: How are you out there communicating, what element is it in?
• 35:06
Speaker 1: Is it in fire?
• 35:07
Speaker 1: Are you really fast?
• 35:07
Speaker 1: Are you really quick?
• 35:08
Speaker 1: Are you taking action?
• 35:08
Speaker 1: Are you going for it?
• 35:09
Speaker 1: Is it in earth?
• 35:09
Speaker 1: Is it slower, more intentional?
• 35:11
Speaker 1: Does it take you a little while to like wrap your mind around concepts in order to communicate them right?
• 35:16
Speaker 1: Is it an air sign?
• 35:18
  Speaker 1: Is it quick?
• 35:18
  Speaker 1: Is it flighty?
• 35:19
  Speaker 1: Is it curious?
• 35:19
  Speaker 1: Is it playful?
• 35:20
Speaker 1: Is it sociable, right, or is it water?
• 35:23
  Speaker 1: Is it emotional?
• 35:25
  Speaker 1: Is it fluid?
• 35:25
Speaker 1: Is it changing forms?
• 35:27
Speaker 1: Is it always moving in a really beautiful sort of fluid way?
• 35:33
Speaker 1: So, identifying your Mercury and, of course, looking at your human design gate as well.
• 35:38
Speaker 1: That is tied to your Mercury.
• 35:40
  Speaker 1: And then Venus.
• 35:41
Speaker 1: Venus is love and money, essentially Love and money.
• 35:44
Speaker 1: So what's Venus doing in your chart?
• 35:46
Speaker 1: Is it in an air sign?
• 35:49
  Speaker 1: Is it curious?
• 35:50
  Speaker 1: Is it playful?
• 35:51
  Speaker 1: Is it sociable?
• 35:52
Speaker 1: Is it in an earth sign?
• 35:54
  Speaker 1: Is it grounded?
• 35:54
  Speaker 1: Is it rooted?
• 35:55
Speaker 1: Is it stable, strong, feminine?
• 36:07
  Speaker 1: Is it sensual?
• 36:08
Speaker 1: Is it in a water sign?
• 36:08
  Speaker 1: Is it fluid?
• 36:08
Speaker 1: Is it flowing, right?
• 36:09
Speaker 1: Is she being very in her, yeah, fluid, feminine, or is it would I miss fire Right?
• 36:13
Speaker 1: Is she passionate, is she intense, is she creative, is she quick, is she moving, is she fierce?
• 36:19
Speaker 1: Right, and I say she, it's just the feminine archetype of Venus, right, but Venus is art, creativity, love and money.
• 36:27
Speaker 1: This is it, right.
• 36:28
Speaker 1: There's so much more I could go into, but I think this is a really great framework and if you have been taking notes amazing you can always save this, come back to it.
• 36:38
Speaker 1: But when we look at all of these pieces together, it's like how are we achieving success?
• 36:44
Speaker 1: How can we embody the highest qualities of these?
• 36:47
Speaker 1: Where are we falling into shadow?
• 36:55
Speaker 1: Right, for me, I have held a lot of shadow around, having that Leo moon and rising, because I grew up really shy, really shy.
• 37:02
Speaker 1: And if you meet me in a new situation, if there's a lot of people, I like to observe first.
• 37:06
Speaker 1: I'm a six three, so that observation piece is really huge to me.
• 37:09
Speaker 1: I like to observe and I like to feel it out.
• 37:11
Speaker 1: I'm not going to be the loudest one there, I'm not going to be calling for attention.
• 37:14
Speaker 1: In fact, a lot of times I find attention to be really uncomfortable.
• 37:17
Speaker 1: I want to be seen and a really intentional and I don't know what the other word I'm looking for, but I want to be seen, I want to be appreciated, but the attention that a lot of times we think Leo's need feels really uncomfortable, right.
• 37:34
Speaker 1: So it's like where am I embodying the shadow of those when things aren't going accordingly, right?
• 37:41
Speaker 1: So, again, journaling out on all these things, what are some keywords that come up for you?
• 37:47
Speaker 1: Right, there's so much more we could go into.
• 37:50
Speaker 1: Maybe I'll have to do a part two with, like, second house, sixth house, tenth house.
• 37:55
Speaker 1: Yeah, I think we'll have to do a part two, but this is like the core framework, I guess, of like how you can achieve success in whatever way that looks for you, whether that's career, whether that's relationship, whether that's parenting, whether that's like whatever, right, your passion, I don't know, whatever that is that you're setting those metrics of success to.
• 38:16
Speaker 1: So we talked about our type, our strategy and authority.
• 38:19
Speaker 1: This is how we can begin to operate in the world, right, follow your type, strategy and authority.
• 38:25
Speaker 1: We talked about our incarnation across a little bit Didn't dive too much in there but that conscious sun-earth, unconscious sun-earth, and that duality, how we need to embody the gifts of our earth in order to embody the shine in the light of the sun.
• 38:38
Speaker 1: Then we talked about our sun, moon rising, midheaven and icy, and Venus and Mercury.
• 38:45
Speaker 1: We talked about all those.
• 38:46
Speaker 1: So, just like again journaling, just write these things out Type, strategy and authority.
• 38:50
Speaker 1: What keywords stood out for you?
• 38:52
Speaker 1: You can re-listen to this what stands out for you when it comes to your type, strategy and authority?
• 38:55
Speaker 1: What stands out for you when it comes to your sun and your earth?
• 38:59
Speaker 1: Even Google right, go into Google or DM me.
• 39:03
Speaker 1: I'm happy, happy to have these conversations.
• 39:05
Speaker 1: Find out what the shadow of your earth sign and gate are.
• 39:10
Speaker 1: Find out the shadow.
• 39:11
  Speaker 1: Write them down.
• 39:11
Speaker 1: See if that is a theme that continues to come up for you.
• 39:14
Speaker 1: Write down the keywords of your sun, moon and rising.
• 39:17
