- 0:00Speaker 1: You just heard the news. Now you'll find out what
- 0:03Speaker 1: it all means. He smarts amone on seven to ten.
- 0:08Speaker 1: Wo Well, it's big developments happening with the mayor of
- 0:19Speaker 1: Mom Donnie. Mayor elect Mom Donnie, with Donald Trump, woop
- 0:23Speaker 1: with Epstein. We'll get to all of that coming up.
- 0:26Speaker 1: It's hard to believe Thanksgiving is next week, a week
- 0:30Speaker 1: from tomorrow. It's Thanksgiving. Unbelievable because you walk down the hall.
- 0:34Speaker 1: You can tell because there's a Thanksgiving buffet down there
- 0:37Speaker 1: by Elvis Durant Studio, by Jim Kurr Studio, there's a
- 0:40Speaker 1: whole Christmas buffet and we have to It's tons and tons.
- 0:46Speaker 1: It goes on for miles these buffets, and everybody's eating
- 0:50Speaker 1: like crazy because we have to finish this be for
- 0:53Speaker 1: today's lunch buffet, which begins in the two hours, that's why.
- 0:59Speaker 1: And then then we do this all day long with
- 1:00Speaker 1: these buffets in front of every studio up and down
- 1:03Speaker 1: the hall. It's all buffets. And then we do features
- 1:05Speaker 1: on why an obesity problem. So we got a lot
- 1:10Speaker 1: to get to. Let's start with the great news. Mayor
- 1:13Speaker 1: elect Mom Donnie. You know you're gonna have to get
- 1:17Speaker 1: used to saying mayor Mom Donnie. But he's agreed to
- 1:22Speaker 1: and Jessica Tish's agreed to stay. She will be the
- 1:25Speaker 1: police commissioner under Mom Donnie. That's reassuring to a lot
- 1:29Speaker 1: of people. They've had a series of meetings. They had
- 1:33Speaker 1: phone calls over the weekend, which is a good sign.
- 1:37Speaker 1: If you have all these meetings in person and then
- 1:39Speaker 1: it turns into phone calls, it means you've done the
- 1:41Speaker 1: hard stuff. You got that out of the way, and
- 1:43Speaker 1: the phone calls he usually just follow up. So she
- 1:46Speaker 1: will stay on as the police commissioner. Now she made
- 1:50Speaker 1: some agreements with him. She's not gonna just stay on,
- 1:55Speaker 1: you know, good faith. They're gonna have to. He's gonna
- 1:56Speaker 1: have to actually agree to stuff. So he's agreed to
- 1:59Speaker 1: basically her alone. This is a key thing. He's got
- 2:01Speaker 1: these crazy programs with his social workers taken over instead
- 2:06Speaker 1: of police. They've made an agreement that the police department
- 2:10Speaker 1: will stay the police department. She will run that. Whatever
- 2:14Speaker 1: silly stuff he wants to do with the social workers,
- 2:17Speaker 1: that'll be separate. It'll be a department of Community safety
- 2:21Speaker 1: that he will run. They will focus with the social
- 2:24Speaker 1: workers on the homeless and mentally ill. They'll just deal
- 2:29Speaker 1: with that. They'll leave the police department alone. The police
- 2:31Speaker 1: department will deal with actual crime. That's one agreement they've made.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I don't know all the others, but they've agreed on
- 2:37Speaker 1: a lot of stuff. So she will stay. That's very important.
- 2:42Speaker 1: It's very very good news. Jessica Tish will stay on. Now,
- 2:47Speaker 1: some people say, well, we don't know, it might just
- 2:49Speaker 1: be a couple of months. You might just stay and
- 2:52Speaker 1: then leaving three I don't think so, you know, she's
- 2:56Speaker 1: not going to do that. She would either stay or leave.
- 2:58Speaker 1: If she's staying, it's because they read on the right stuff.
- 3:01Speaker 1: She's got good, solid agreements with him. If she's staying,
- 3:03Speaker 1: it's going to be for a while. It'll be Remember,
- 3:07Speaker 1: police commissioners generally serve a very long time, you know.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Not everybody's Ray Kelly. He was the greatest police commissioner
- 3:15Speaker 1: in history. So that was like, I think, eighteen years.
- 3:17Speaker 1: But he's Babe Ruth. That's not normal. But normally a
- 3:20Speaker 1: police commissioner, a good police commissioner stays a few years.
- 3:24Speaker 1: It's not one year, it's a number of years, four years,
- 3:27Speaker 1: three years, four years, five years, something like that. It
- 3:30Speaker 1: was only under Eric Adams we had the police Commissioner
- 3:33Speaker 1: of the month. How many do we have under Adams?
- 3:36Speaker 1: I mean, I don't think those Jeopardy guys could even
- 3:38Speaker 1: get that name. All the Eric Adams police commissioners. It's
- 3:40Speaker 1: not easy. Let me think he shot suwell m Who
- 3:45Speaker 1: is the McDermott Dermott Dermot Shay. That's another one. O'Neill.
- 3:52Speaker 1: What was O'Neill's first name, James O'Neill. That's three. Oh,
- 3:58Speaker 1: Eddie Caban that's four. Who is the guy that was
- 4:02Speaker 1: there briefly? Very nice guy was his name? Donnelly? He
- 4:05Speaker 1: was just there temporarily. He came in for a few months,
- 4:07Speaker 1: but a very good guy. Donnelly. That's five. And Jessica Tish.
- 4:12Speaker 1: That's six, six police commissioners in four years. It's embarrassing,
- 4:17Speaker 1: it's awful. So I think if she's agreed to stay,
- 4:20Speaker 1: it's gonna be for a while. Now. That's the most
- 4:23Speaker 1: important thing about mom. Donnie whatever nonsense, crazy stuff he
- 4:27Speaker 1: wants to do. Fine, But as long as the streets
- 4:29Speaker 1: are safe, that kind of fixes everything. Safe streets you
- 4:34Speaker 1: pretty much help every situation. If the streets are safe,
- 4:38Speaker 1: businesses flourish, if the streets are safe, tourists keep coming here.
- 4:43Speaker 1: That's very important for our economy. So he's Jessica Tish
- 4:47Speaker 1: will stay. That's important. Outside of that, he's gonna have
- 4:52Speaker 1: all these all the crazy people he's appointed, they're all
- 4:54Speaker 1: from the Deblasio administration, the same exact deputy mayors, first
- 4:58Speaker 1: deputy mayor. They're all from the Blasio administration. So you'll
- 5:01Speaker 1: basically get a repeat of that. It wasn't bad, and
- 5:08Speaker 1: we got through it. We got through eight years of that.
- 5:10Speaker 1: We'll get through four years of Mom Donnie. It might
- 5:12Speaker 1: only be one year. You know, you're going to get
- 5:13Speaker 1: a new governor, probably a year from now, and that
- 5:16Speaker 1: governor can remove the mayor. They have the power to
- 5:18Speaker 1: remove the mayor. It's happened before FDR removed Jimmy Walker
- 5:23Speaker 1: the mayor. So that's good news. Now. The only bad
- 5:29Speaker 1: part of this Tish thing, Mam Donnie does not want
- 5:34Speaker 1: Ice coming in here arresting illegals, and many of these
- 5:36Speaker 1: illegals are the worst criminals, So you want him arrested
- 5:40Speaker 1: and taken out here. Jessica Tish may have agreed with
- 5:43Speaker 1: him not to cooperate with ice. That's I don't know,
- 5:46Speaker 1: but that's the only problem. Hocal apparently is recruited a
- 5:53Speaker 1: number of big Wall Street exec top Wall Street names,
- 5:56Speaker 1: big business guys, people that know Trump, and she's put
- 5:59Speaker 1: together of this group. She wants them to go to
- 6:01Speaker 1: Donald Trump and convince him to not send the National
- 6:05Speaker 1: Guardian to protect people. Now, if Jessica Tish is here
- 6:09Speaker 1: and doing a good job, there'd be no reason to
- 6:11Speaker 1: send the National Guard in. But if there is a problem,
- 6:14Speaker 1: of course you'd want him to send the National guard.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Why would you turn away anything that's going to give
- 6:18Speaker 1: you a public safety Why would you turn away any
- 6:20Speaker 1: law enforcement, public safety anything. And also bear in mind,
- 6:25Speaker 1: you remember a few years ago when there was the
- 6:27Speaker 1: crime was getting out of control. What did Kathy Hokeel do.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Nobody remembers this. She sent the National Guard in. Remember
- 6:33Speaker 1: she put him in all the subways, So she sent
- 6:36Speaker 1: the National Guarden. She thought it was a good thing
- 6:37Speaker 1: to do. But that's the hypocrisy. Democrats are famous for
- 6:42Speaker 1: President Trump meeting with the Saudi Prince yesterday. Saudi leaders,
- 6:47Speaker 1: a lot of people didn't like this. You know, you
- 6:52Speaker 1: don't want to have two cozy relationship between a president
- 6:55Speaker 1: and the Saudis, and they looked like reporters were asking
- 6:59Speaker 1: about the Trump organization has all kinds of business interests
- 7:02Speaker 1: in Saudi Arabia. They're building hotels and apartments and this
- 7:06Speaker 1: looks pretty sleazy, but he pointed out they've been doing
- 7:09Speaker 1: that anyway, long before he was president. They were building
- 7:12Speaker 1: over there, and they're building all over the world. In fact,
- 7:15Speaker 1: the amount of building they're doing in Saudi Arabia is
- 7:17Speaker 1: a lot less than they're doing in Europe or anywhere else. Hey,
- 7:20Speaker 1: the greatest moment was Trump and this ABC reporter. You know,
- 7:25Speaker 1: it's funny. ABC News. ABC the network attacks Trump twenty
- 7:30Speaker 1: four to seven for ten years. They call them every
- 7:32Speaker 1: name in the world. They insult them with everything he'm
- 7:35Speaker 1: insult them with. All they do is attack and insult
- 7:38Speaker 1: Donald Trump twenty four to seven for ten years without
- 7:41Speaker 1: it never stops. If he insults him once, it's an
- 7:45Speaker 1: international incident all of a sudden, ABC News is the
- 7:48Speaker 1: worst thing that's ever happened. But this is yesterday. They
- 7:50Speaker 1: got the Saudi crown prints. They're in the Oval Office.
- 7:53Speaker 1: They've made some agreements to help the US, to help
- 7:56Speaker 1: our businesses and a lot of big good business leaders
- 8:00Speaker 1: have flown in, Tim Cook of Apple, all these big
- 8:03Speaker 1: tech guys everything. They're all there. Elon Musk came back
- 8:05Speaker 1: to the White House for this. It's very important, and
- 8:10Speaker 1: they're trying to talk about what they're going to do
- 8:12Speaker 1: together and hopefully they make some kind of an agreement
- 8:15Speaker 1: over protecting Israel and all of that. So it's all
- 8:17Speaker 1: good stuff. But the ABC reporter can't stop. She's asking
- 8:22Speaker 1: about remember the guy that was killed, Koshogi, and she's
- 8:26Speaker 1: asking about Epstein. This is in the middle of this
- 8:28Speaker 1: positive thing. So Trump gets mad, but this is great.
- 8:31Speaker 1: He really tells her off. I love listening to this.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Take a listen. That will fight it out.
- 8:37Speaker 2: For Congress to release the Epstein files.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Why not just do it now?
- 8:40Speaker 3: Now.
- 8:41Speaker 2: It's not the question that I mind. It's your attitude.
- 8:45Speaker 2: I think you are a terrible reporter. It's the way
- 8:48Speaker 2: you ask these questions. You start off with a man
- 8:51Speaker 2: who's highly respected asking him a horrible, insubordinate and just
- 8:56Speaker 2: a terrible question. And you could even ask that same
- 9:01Speaker 2: exact question nicely. You're all psyched. Somebody psyches you over
- 9:05Speaker 2: at ABC. You're gonna psych it. You're a terrible person
- 9:11Speaker 2: and a terrible reporter. As far as the Epstein Files is,
- 9:16Speaker 2: I have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. I threw
- 9:18Speaker 2: him out of my club many years ago because I
- 9:20Speaker 2: thought he was a sick pervert. But I guess I
- 9:24Speaker 2: would turn out to be right. But you know who
- 9:25Speaker 2: does have? Bill Clinton? Larry Somemmers, who ran Harvard, was
- 9:30Speaker 2: with him every single night, every single weekend. They lived together.
- 9:34Speaker 2: They went to his island many times. I never did
- 9:39Speaker 2: Andrew Weissman here. All these guys were friends of his.
- 9:42Speaker 2: You don't even talk about those people. You just keep
- 9:45Speaker 2: going on the Epstein files. And what the Epstein is
- 9:49Speaker 2: is a Democrat hoax to try and get me not
- 9:52Speaker 2: to be able to talk about the twenty one trillion
- 9:54Speaker 2: dollars that I talked about today. It's a hoax.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Now.
- 9:57Speaker 2: I just got a little report and I put it
- 9:59Speaker 2: in my pocket. Of all the money that he's given
- 10:02Speaker 2: to Democrats, he gave me none, zero, no money to me,
- 10:08Speaker 2: but he gave money to democrats. And people are wise
- 10:12Speaker 2: to your hoax. And ABC's your company, your crappy company
- 10:16Speaker 2: is one of the perpetrators.
- 10:17Speaker 5: And I'll tell you something.
- 10:18Speaker 3: I'll tell you something.
- 10:20Speaker 2: I think the license should be taken away from ABC
- 10:24Speaker 2: because your news is so fake and is so wrong,
- 10:28Speaker 2: and we have a great commissioner, a chairman who should
- 10:32Speaker 2: look at that, because I think when you come in
- 10:35Speaker 2: and when you're ninety seven percent negative to Trump and
- 10:38Speaker 2: then Trump wins the election in a landslide, that means
- 10:41Speaker 2: obviously your news is not credible and you're not credible
- 10:45Speaker 2: as a reporter. So I've answered your question. You should
- 10:48Speaker 2: go and look at the Democrats who received money from Epstein,
- 10:52Speaker 2: who spent their time. Larry Summers was with them all
- 10:56Speaker 2: the time, that creep of the fun. This guy was
- 11:01Speaker 2: with him all the time. What's his name? Read Hoffman.
- 11:05Speaker 2: I don't know read Hoffman, but I know he spends
- 11:07Speaker 2: a lot of money in the radical left. Read Hoffman,
- 11:10Speaker 2: in my opinion, should be under investigation. He's a sleevesbag
- 11:15Speaker 2: and those are the people, but they don't get any press,
- 11:18Speaker 2: they don't get any news. And you're not after the
- 11:20Speaker 2: radical left because you're a radical left network. But I
- 11:23Speaker 2: think the way you ask a question, with the anger
- 11:25Speaker 2: and the meanness is terrible.
- 11:28Speaker 1: You ought to go back and learn how to be
- 11:29Speaker 1: a reporter no more. So that's pretty good. But let's
- 11:33Speaker 1: break that down. Now, he threatens the licenses of ABC.
- 11:36Speaker 1: You're not supposed to do that. But if they are
- 11:39Speaker 1: broadcasting false information and distorting the news, and they have
- 11:42Speaker 1: been caught doing that, remember the George Stephanoppolis false accusations,
- 11:46Speaker 1: and the ABC had to pay Trump fifteen million quietly
- 11:50Speaker 1: and not so quietly to settle it. So you're not
- 11:52Speaker 1: supposed to threaten their license, but if they are distorting
- 11:55Speaker 1: the news, you are supposed to take the license away.
- 11:58Speaker 1: And let's read how it's an interesting guy, this guy
- 12:01Speaker 1: reid hoffin this techzillionaire. He funds a lot of stuff.
- 12:05Speaker 1: He funded the Egen Carroll lawsuit against Trump, which will
- 12:10Speaker 1: nobody believes that most people think is just total hoax,
- 12:14Speaker 1: But he funded that. God are all the best lawyers.
- 12:16Speaker 1: But it's a good question, he brings up if he
- 12:21Speaker 1: has nothing to do with Epstein for twenty years, he
- 12:23Speaker 1: hasn't the twenty one years, he has nothing to do
- 12:26Speaker 1: with Epstein, no kindection. A million years ago in two
- 12:28Speaker 1: thousand and four, he found out about Epstein, and the
- 12:31Speaker 1: young girls threw him out of mar A Lago, banned
- 12:34Speaker 1: him from the club, there's a million witnesses to this,
- 12:36Speaker 1: people that work there, people that were members there, so
- 12:39Speaker 1: everybody knew about it back then. I knew about it
- 12:42Speaker 1: because he's one of the people that warned me years ago,
- 12:45Speaker 1: twenty years ago, stay the hell away from Epstein, bad guy.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Except for twenty one years he stayed away from him
- 12:50Speaker 1: while Democrats got closer and closer and closer to Epstein.
- 12:53Speaker 1: And he's right, why aren't they, Why aren't they outside
- 12:56Speaker 1: of Bill Clinton's house demanding some answers? Or Larry Summers?
- 13:00Speaker 1: He was the former Treasury secretary to Obama Clinton. He
- 13:07Speaker 1: was an advisor and economic advisor to Joe Biden during
- 13:10Speaker 1: this recent presidency, and president of Harvard. Now, why aren't they?
- 13:15Speaker 1: Why aren't they bothering Larry Summers and making him explain this? Now,
- 13:18Speaker 1: Summers put out statements saying he's ashamed of his close
- 13:21Speaker 1: relationship with Epstein, and apparently Summer's cheating on his wife
- 13:26Speaker 1: like crazy and using Epstein as his dating coach. You
- 13:30Speaker 1: can see it in the emails and texts. He's now
- 13:33Speaker 1: resigned from every board he's on, He's resigned from everything,
- 13:36Speaker 1: still works for Harvard, but and it turns out that
- 13:40Speaker 1: Epstein over these last twenty years has been a major
- 13:42Speaker 1: Democratic donor. Hasn't given a penny to Trump, But major
- 13:47Speaker 1: Democratic donor. If they hate this guy so much, why
- 13:49Speaker 1: are they taking his money? Why are they letting him
- 13:51Speaker 1: from their campaigns? It's a very good question, you know,
- 13:57Speaker 1: when these files come out. First of all, there's not
- 13:59Speaker 1: that much in the fire. The Epstein files don't have
- 14:02Speaker 1: all the juicy stuff in him. The juicy stuff is
- 14:04Speaker 1: in the texts and emails, and those are coming from
- 14:07Speaker 1: the Epstein estate. But Trump asked some good questions, why
- 14:12Speaker 1: why aren't they going after these people? And this current
- 14:15Speaker 1: Democratic congresswoman what's her name? Plasket? Stacey Plaskett very close
- 14:21Speaker 1: to Epstein, and while she's in the hearings grilling Michael Cohen,
- 14:26Speaker 1: she's texting back and forth with Epstein during the hearings
- 14:29Speaker 1: to get his advice on what to say next and
- 14:32Speaker 1: what So, how come reporters never bother her? Somebody did
- 14:38Speaker 1: ask the Stacey Plasket Well, oh no, it was Caitlin Collins.
- 14:43Speaker 1: She was on CNN. So she said to Hakim Jeffreys,
- 14:47Speaker 1: how come you're not mad at Stacey Plaskett for being
- 14:49Speaker 1: so close to Epstein. They're texting back and forth during
- 14:53Speaker 1: the hearings on Trump, and Epstein says, well, she has
- 14:58Speaker 1: not violated any law. Okay, it's not illegal, but it's
- 15:03Speaker 1: certainly inappropriate. It's not illegal to go to Epstein's house
- 15:06Speaker 1: and hang out with him, but it's totally inappropriate. You know,
- 15:10Speaker 1: George Stephanopolis having dinner with Epstein at his house, Katie
- 15:14Speaker 1: Couric having dinner with Epstein at his house. Why aren't
- 15:17Speaker 1: more people asking them about all this? Trump has nothing
- 15:20Speaker 1: to do with Epstein. I love Good Day in New York.
- 15:23Speaker 1: It's a great shows on Channel five every morning. And
- 15:25Speaker 1: they got this political guy that does the political pieces.
- 15:28Speaker 1: His name is Robert Moses. He's a cute guy. I
- 15:31Speaker 1: like him, but he's the most slanted partisan. So when
- 15:35Speaker 1: Trump said he had nothing to do with Epstein.
- 15:37Speaker 2: I have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. I threw
- 15:39Speaker 2: him out of my club many years ago because I
- 15:41Speaker 2: thought he was a sick pervert. But I guess I
- 15:45Speaker 2: would turn out to be right.
- 15:46Speaker 1: So when Robert Moses does the story with this clip,
- 15:48Speaker 1: he actually said President Trump tried to claim that he
- 15:52Speaker 1: had nothing to do with Epstein about biased language. He
- 15:55Speaker 1: tried to claim he did. This is all well known
- 16:00Speaker 1: to people. Again, there are a million witnesses to be
- 16:03Speaker 1: They never tell you this part of it. He tried
- 16:06Speaker 1: to claim, you could easily find a dozen witnesses right
- 16:12Speaker 1: now that know about how this did happen twenty one
- 16:14Speaker 1: years ago. Threw him the hell out of mar Alago.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Never spoke to him again. Anyway. We'll get back to Epstein,
- 16:20Speaker 1: We'll get back to Mom, Donnie. Lots more to get to.
- 16:23Speaker 1: We'll get to Hochel and more coming up. We'll take
- 16:27Speaker 1: some calls next. Eight hundred three to two one zero
- 16:30Speaker 1: seven ten is the number, eight hundred three two one
- 16:33Speaker 1: zero seven ten. Yeah, more marks alone on sevent ten.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Listen to that. I guess I have to just accept it.
- 16:43Speaker 1: It's the holiday season. Like I think, it's still the
- 16:46Speaker 1: end of summer, it's still early fall. I guess I
- 16:49Speaker 1: have to accept it's Thanksgiving, It's Christmas season out in
- 16:53Speaker 1: the hall, this Christmas trees, this Christmas music, got a
- 16:56Speaker 1: Christmas buffet. I just have to accept it.
- 16:58Speaker 2: I know.
- 16:59Speaker 1: I know that's go to stake some calls. Let's go
- 17:01Speaker 1: to Mike and Florida. Mike, how you doing, Good.
- 17:04Speaker 6: Morning, Mark, Yes, Mike, that SoundBite you played from the
- 17:09Speaker 6: press conference is really underscores the problem that Trump has
- 17:14Speaker 6: not only with the media, but with the Republican Party,
- 17:17Speaker 6: who just cower every time they have a chance to
- 17:20Speaker 6: get somebody's you know.
- 17:21Speaker 4: Watch and advice, they fall back on, well, it's not
- 17:25Speaker 4: technically illegal, so they won't censure that congress woman who's
- 17:29Speaker 4: texting with Epstein during the during the hearings, you know,
- 17:32Speaker 4: because it wasn't technically illegal.
- 17:35Speaker 6: And meanwhile they then.
- 17:37Speaker 7: They fall back on, well, Trump should release everything. But
- 17:39Speaker 7: you know, if Trump releases all this Epstein stuff, they'll
- 17:42Speaker 7: drag him in front of the court and they say
- 17:44Speaker 7: he jeopardized the lives of the accused and the and
- 17:49Speaker 7: the victims, and then that would become a UNO watch show.
- 17:53Speaker 3: It's calling.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Well, a bigger problem is once he releases everything, they'll
- 17:57Speaker 1: claim it's not everything. And you may have I've seen
- 18:00Speaker 1: these Jeffrey Eckstein victims. It's about a dozen women holding
- 18:05Speaker 1: this press conference. The Democratic consultants have got a hold
- 18:08Speaker 1: of these women staging these press conferences where they go
- 18:11Speaker 1: on and on and on. But you'll notice there's a
- 18:14Speaker 1: dozen victims. Not one of them not one of them
- 18:17Speaker 1: has ever seen Donald Trump or mentioned Donald Trump. Or
- 18:20Speaker 1: that's the problem with this Epstein stuff. It's going to
- 18:23Speaker 1: implicate some Democrats. Larry Summers has already had his public
- 18:27Speaker 1: life destroyed by the handful of texts and emails that
- 18:30Speaker 1: came out. Wait till it all comes out, You're going
- 18:32Speaker 1: to see a lot of major Democrats, their donors, their cabinet,
- 18:37Speaker 1: a lot of these people are going to be ruined
- 18:39Speaker 1: when this stuff comes out. Let's go to Lou and
- 18:43Speaker 1: Queen's Lou, how you doing.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Hey, Mark, you said it, be careful about opening up
- 18:49Speaker 3: Pandora's box. That's what this is going to turn into.
- 18:52Speaker 3: But I wanted to draw your attention to a fascinating
- 18:56Speaker 3: story in the Internal.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Well we'll be the judge of that. If it's in
- 18:59Speaker 1: the Wall Street Journal, how fascinating can it be. That's
- 19:02Speaker 1: usually that thing. That paper has news from like three
- 19:05Speaker 1: weeks ago all the time.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Well, this is all news. It's about during the show
- 19:09Speaker 3: of Iran. I didn't know it. The Israelis and the
- 19:12Speaker 3: Iranians were working together to put together their whole water system,
- 19:18Speaker 3: you know, their water supply and everything else, and it
- 19:21Speaker 3: was working perfectly.
- 19:22Speaker 2: That.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Of course, the Iatola came to power, the Iranian engineers
- 19:27Speaker 3: along with the Israelis all went to Israel.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Yeah, they're having a big water crisis in Iran. In fact,
- 19:33Speaker 1: it's so bad they to believe they may have to
- 19:38Speaker 1: evacuate Iran. They've already moved people into concentrated areas where
- 19:42Speaker 1: they'd still have some water. But there's a tremendous water
- 19:45Speaker 1: shortage occurring in Iran. I said, this is what I
- 19:49Speaker 1: mean about the Wall Street Journal. This is this story
- 19:51Speaker 1: from two weeks ago. That's just in there. Now, let's
- 19:54Speaker 1: go to Rob in Franklin Square. Rob, how you doing hy?
- 19:57Speaker 8: Good morning Markia. You know, I don't think it was
- 19:59Speaker 8: a good call for the President to have that press
- 20:02Speaker 8: conference with with the Crown Prince, with the because uh,
- 20:05Speaker 8: you know, you know, with this couple building and the
- 20:07Speaker 8: death of Kosholgi, he should have known that that they
- 20:10Speaker 8: were gonna he was gonna be asked questions about him.
- 20:13Speaker 8: You know, maybe he's been better off not having uh
- 20:16Speaker 8: you know.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Well that's taken the easy way. In the smart way.
- 20:19Speaker 1: He never does that. He likes to whatever the toughest
- 20:22Speaker 1: way to do it is. That's the way he always
- 20:23Speaker 1: likes to do it. Yeah. No, he never hides from
- 20:27Speaker 1: anything or anybody. Probably, you know, if you get somebody
- 20:31Speaker 1: who's out of line like that, you should probably just
- 20:33Speaker 1: ban them for two weeks, put them in the penalty box,
- 20:35Speaker 1: like no ABC News allowed in the White House for
- 20:38Speaker 1: two weeks. Just try that. Maybe they'll learn how to
- 20:40Speaker 1: behave a little better. Let's go to Joe in Long Island.
- 20:43Speaker 6: Joe, how you doing, Hey, Mark, You're the best as always.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Just two quick things.
- 20:48Speaker 3: I think I've heard that Trump was actually an FBI
- 20:51Speaker 3: in forman in two thousand and nine against EV's team.
- 20:54Speaker 1: And no, no, no, no, not true. Not true.
- 20:58Speaker 7: Yeah, and then but he actual he did give them
- 21:01Speaker 7: some information.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Not true. You saw that on some website, right, not true? Okay,
- 21:07Speaker 1: not true the FBI of two thousand and nine. That
- 21:10Speaker 1: was Camian Company and not big Trump fans. Yeah. Now,
- 21:13Speaker 1: Trump broke up with him twenty one years ago, had
- 21:16Speaker 1: nothing to do with him since. But he was very
- 21:18Speaker 1: close to Democrats. Now he was. I didn't know him
- 21:22Speaker 1: that well. I don't know what his politics were, but
- 21:23Speaker 1: he was in the middle of the Upper East Side
- 21:25Speaker 1: of Manhattan and the circles he traveled in It was
- 21:28Speaker 1: mostly Democrats in those circles. Had there been more Republicans around,
- 21:33Speaker 1: well maybe he would have known more Republicans. But you know,
- 21:35Speaker 1: when you're trying to immerse yourself in the world of
- 21:39Speaker 1: politics in New York City, you're gonna end up knowing
- 21:41Speaker 1: a lot more Democrats than Republicans. Hey, when we come back,
- 21:45Speaker 1: I want to talk to this guy. He's an assemblyman
- 21:48Speaker 1: from New York actually from Oyster Bay. Jake Blumenkrantz. He
- 21:52Speaker 1: served with Mom Donnie in the Assembly. He's a Republican,
- 21:55Speaker 1: but you know, he can give us some insight into
- 21:57Speaker 1: Mam Donnie and maybe he can explain to us what
- 22:00Speaker 1: the hell's going on with this socialism and Mom Donnie.
- 22:02Speaker 1: This could be interesting. We'll get to this next on
- 22:05Speaker 1: seven to ten WR.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Marximo on sevent ten WR.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Hey, Jake blumen Krantz, very popular assemblyman State Assembly. He's
- 22:16Speaker 1: from Oyster Bay. You might have seen a lot of
- 22:19Speaker 1: him on television and everywhere lately, served with Mamdani. Can
- 22:22Speaker 1: give us some insight into that whole phenomenon. And he's
- 22:26Speaker 1: with us right now. Jake blumin Krantz, how you doing good?
- 22:29Speaker 5: Thank you for having me on.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Hey. Also, you're a young guy. How old are you?
- 22:33Speaker 5: I am twenty nine.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Twenty nine, and you're in the State Assembly. Mamdannie is
- 22:38Speaker 1: thirty four. We're seeing more and more of this. What
- 22:40Speaker 1: is this new phenomenon of all these very young public servants.
- 22:44Speaker 5: Look, I think when you see issues go unaddressed by
- 22:47Speaker 5: establishment candidates on either side of the aisles, as a
- 22:50Speaker 5: young person, you got to step in and you got
- 22:52Speaker 5: to say this isn't right. We have solutions, we have answers,
- 22:56Speaker 5: and in reality my answers and may Or Elect mondonni'sncaers
- 23:01Speaker 5: are different. But I think that the sentiment that things
- 23:03Speaker 5: need to change is the same.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Yeah, but we're used to these Sheldon Silver, Chuck Schumer,
- 23:08Speaker 1: old men with the glasses all flogged up kind of
- 23:11Speaker 1: people in the government. But it's good to see. Hey,
- 23:16Speaker 1: tell us about Mandannie. You served with Mam Donnie. What
- 23:20Speaker 1: did you think of him back then? I do.
- 23:22Speaker 5: He's been an assemblyment with me since I started. Interesting character.
- 23:26Speaker 5: I think what I'd say to anyone who asked me
- 23:28Speaker 5: that question is he means what he says, and he
- 23:30Speaker 5: says what he means. He's an ideological guy, and he
- 23:33Speaker 5: believes a lot of the rhetoric that he Espouses' unfortunate
- 23:36Speaker 5: as a Jewish legislator to see someone like him rise
- 23:39Speaker 5: so prominently because he introduced legislation like not on My Dime,
- 23:44Speaker 5: which would effectively empower the AG's office to hurt Jewish
- 23:48Speaker 5: charities and not for profits for supporting Israel, among many
- 23:53Speaker 5: other very dangerous pieces of legislation. Yeah, in a new
- 23:56Speaker 5: place of power, we're gonna have to see what he's
- 23:58Speaker 5: gonna do.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Well, you were two young guys up in all being
- 24:00Speaker 1: in the Assembly. Did you have any a lot of
- 24:02Speaker 1: personal interaction with him.
- 24:04Speaker 5: Yeah, we did interact quite a bit, and I'd say
- 24:07Speaker 5: he's a very cordial person. But at the end of
- 24:09Speaker 5: the day, my concern with him is his policy proposals
- 24:13Speaker 5: and his incorrect solutions to the correct problems. We do
- 24:17Speaker 5: have a problem with affordability, but I don't think the free, free,
- 24:21Speaker 5: free parade is one that is either effective or going
- 24:24Speaker 5: to solve the problems he hopes to solve.
- 24:26Speaker 1: You might get some naive voters, but Mom, Donnie, as
- 24:30Speaker 1: bad as he is, seems like a very high IQ
- 24:33Speaker 1: sort of a guy. Why wouldn't a guy like that
- 24:34Speaker 1: know the history of socialism and its failures.
- 24:38Speaker 5: Well, he might be not necessarily looking at its failures,
- 24:41Speaker 5: but populism at large is what is a play in
- 24:45Speaker 5: his campaign. He's telling people what they want to hear.
- 24:47Speaker 5: They want to hear that your rent will go down.
- 24:49Speaker 5: They want to hear that groceries are too expensive. I
- 24:51Speaker 5: think he's tapping into the affordability message in a way
- 24:53Speaker 5: that people appreciate. My problem with it is, you're right,
- 24:56Speaker 5: he is not paying attention to the rest of the
- 24:58Speaker 5: history of socialism. It's very easy to win O for
- 25:01Speaker 5: voters when you have a message like that, but it's
- 25:03Speaker 5: very hard to govern.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Yeah, Jake Blumenkrantz, you're an assemblyman. You're a Republican up
- 25:08Speaker 1: there in Albany, in the Assembly with very few Republicans
- 25:11Speaker 1: up there. How does it feel? How tough is it
- 25:14Speaker 1: being a Republican in that legislature.
- 25:17Speaker 5: It's always an uphill battle because they have a supermajority,
- 25:20Speaker 5: a veto proof supermajority right now and at the end
- 25:23Speaker 5: of the day, even if the governor doesn't feel compelled
- 25:26Speaker 5: to pass many of his agenda points, if he manages
- 25:28Speaker 5: to convince enough of our colleagues in the Assembly and
- 25:30Speaker 5: Senate to do what he wants to do. Her hands
- 25:32Speaker 5: will be tied, and that'll be a big question for
- 25:34Speaker 5: her as she runs for reelection this year.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Yeah. Hey, but this socialism, this Mondanni, it's not just him,
- 25:39Speaker 1: there's a bunch of them all over the country. What
- 25:42Speaker 1: is this socialism creeping into democratic politics?
- 25:46Speaker 5: So the DSA is an organization, the Democratic Socialists of
- 25:49Speaker 5: America that continues to have a pernicious effect on the
- 25:52Speaker 5: Democratic Party. They are on the rise in New York State.
- 25:56Speaker 5: In many races in the city, we don't even run
- 25:58Speaker 5: Republican candidates because there's none a enough voters that and
- 26:01Speaker 5: there's not enough candidates that we have to run, which
- 26:04Speaker 5: allows them to take a hold and combat the Democrats
- 26:07Speaker 5: from the far left. And it's become a race left
- 26:09Speaker 5: with no finish line.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, let me get back to we're talking
- 26:13Speaker 1: with Assemblyman Jake Blumenkrantz. You said Mandani means what he says.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Can we at least hope maybe it's he's a lot
- 26:21Speaker 1: of talk but not much action, And maybe it won't
- 26:24Speaker 1: be as bad as we think.
- 26:27Speaker 5: I think with any mayor who has as as strong
- 26:30Speaker 5: proposals as mister Mandami does. There will be questions as
- 26:34Speaker 5: to what is possible and what is impossible, and I
- 26:37Speaker 5: think that comes with participation from the state legislature. Let's
- 26:40Speaker 5: see if there are commer heads up north in Albany
- 26:42Speaker 5: than there are in the city, and that would determine
- 26:44Speaker 5: whether or not he's able to really fulfill much of his
- 26:46Speaker 5: promises or not.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Yeah. Now he's appointed his first deputy mayor. It's a
- 26:50Speaker 1: guy named Dean Fulahan, who was Deblasio's first deputy mayor.
- 26:55Speaker 1: But this is problem with this fullahand he apparently is
- 26:58Speaker 1: very plugged in up there in Albany, to the legend
- 27:00Speaker 1: and can get things done. Did you ever have any
- 27:02Speaker 1: dealings with them?
- 27:04Speaker 5: I never, personally don't them. But I'd say that mister
- 27:06Speaker 5: Mondombe is going to play a really smart Albany game,
- 27:08Speaker 5: and that's a really dangerous thing for New Yorkers and
- 27:11Speaker 5: for many who are concerned that his policies are detrimental
- 27:14Speaker 5: to us and the problems that he hopes to solve.
- 27:16Speaker 1: All right, well, you're not exactly cheering this up, but
- 27:19Speaker 1: that's okay. We want you to be honest.
- 27:21Speaker 5: I don't mean to paint a bleak picture. But I
- 27:24Speaker 5: do think that we as Republicans, we need to win
- 27:26Speaker 5: on the battlefield of ideas with new ideas. We can't
- 27:30Speaker 5: just say no, his policies are bad. We need to
- 27:32Speaker 5: truly propose and try it and act real change for
- 27:37Speaker 5: the sake of affordability. People are struggling out there. People
- 27:40Speaker 5: can't afford their groceries. We do need to come up
- 27:42Speaker 5: with the proposals that work and fight against ones that don't.
- 27:45Speaker 5: But at the end of the day, if we don't
- 27:47Speaker 5: have new messaging and new ideas and new voices coming
- 27:50Speaker 5: into the fray, it'll be a difficult task.
- 27:52Speaker 1: But you look at this affordability crisis across America. It
- 27:55Speaker 1: seems to always be in the blue cities, and the
- 27:57Speaker 1: Democrat solutions usually lead to this crisis. So how do
- 28:02Speaker 1: you message that, How do you make that clear that
- 28:05Speaker 1: they pretty much caused.
- 28:06Speaker 5: You have to be you have to be tactful, and
- 28:08Speaker 5: you have to realize that sometimes even in urban areas,
- 28:11Speaker 5: the logic can prevail. Mayor Bloomberg Grant as a Republican
- 28:15Speaker 5: who was a fiscal conservative who wanted to rain in
- 28:20Speaker 5: some of the spending to be a prolific builder and
- 28:23Speaker 5: we saw that, and we saw the city in sort
- 28:26Speaker 5: of a golden age, and it's important we want to
- 28:28Speaker 5: try and focus on bringing ourselves back to those times
- 28:30Speaker 5: and bring ourselves back to the ideas of safety and
- 28:33Speaker 5: affordability as paramount.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Yeah. Hey, it tell us about serving in the Assembly.
- 28:38Speaker 1: How is that that? Is it full time when you're
- 28:40Speaker 1: an assemblyman or is it a part time thing? You're
- 28:42Speaker 1: not there every day.
- 28:44Speaker 5: We're up there for about six months a year, and
- 28:48Speaker 5: it comes down to making sure that our budget priorities
- 28:51Speaker 5: are in place and making sure we're getting what we
- 28:53Speaker 5: need for our communities. And we work closely in a
- 28:57Speaker 5: bipartisan way to do that when we can as part
- 28:59Speaker 5: of the minority caucus. But we have, we still managed
- 29:04Speaker 5: to get some great accomplishments done that.
- 29:05Speaker 1: We're just fighting the good fight, all right, Well, good stuff.
- 29:08Speaker 1: And you're an Oyster Bay right, I love Oyster Bay,
- 29:10Speaker 1: great town.
- 29:10Speaker 5: Yes, beautiful Long Island absolutely.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, well, good luck, keep up the good fight.
- 29:15Speaker 1: You're one of the few Republicans up there in all
- 29:17Speaker 1: beneath Jake bloom And Grants, thanks for being.
- 29:19Speaker 5: With us, Thank you for having me on.
- 29:22Speaker 1: All right, take care, all right, that that wasn't the
- 29:26Speaker 1: most encouraging thing. But way we want him to be honest,
- 29:29Speaker 1: you know, I keep I want to think it, Mom,
- 29:33Speaker 1: Donnie's going to be like the Blasio who was bad.
- 29:35Speaker 1: But it wasn't as bad as we thought it might be.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Because remember the good thing about the Blasio. Well here's
- 29:40Speaker 1: the only difference. The good thing about the Blasi he
- 29:42Speaker 1: just never showed up for work. Remember he would go
- 29:45Speaker 1: to the gym. He'd wake up like nine in the morning,
- 29:47Speaker 1: go to the gym till noon. Then he went to
- 29:49Speaker 1: that coffee place in Brooklyn, hang out there, cho up
- 29:52Speaker 1: in city Hall about three o'clock, take a nap, wake
- 29:55Speaker 1: up and leave and go home. It was about his
- 29:57Speaker 1: whole day. The only problem with this, mom, younger, more
- 30:02Speaker 1: energetic guy, he might actually be doing stuff all day
- 30:05Speaker 1: and night.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Now.
- 30:05Speaker 1: The good news is he's never had a job in
- 30:09Speaker 1: his life. He's never been an executive, he's never been
- 30:11Speaker 1: a manager, So that hopefully means he won't know how
- 30:14Speaker 1: to execute anything or get anything actually done. The bad
- 30:19Speaker 1: news is he's got all these exta Blasio people running
- 30:22Speaker 1: city Hall, first deputy mayor dean fullhand. These guys actually
- 30:26Speaker 1: know how to execute. So anyway, the good news is
- 30:29Speaker 1: Jessica Tish will stay as police commissioner. We're assuming that
- 30:33Speaker 1: they had a number of conversations. We're assuming she wouldn't
- 30:35Speaker 1: have agreed if this is just going to be a
- 30:37Speaker 1: couple of months, So you can probably assume she'll be
- 30:41Speaker 1: there for at least a year or two or three.
- 30:43Speaker 1: So that's the good news. Anyway, Buck and Clay are
- 30:46Speaker 1: coming up at noon. You don't want to miss them
- 30:48Speaker 1: today noon to three. And then you got the most
- 30:50Speaker 1: listened to radio show in America, Sean Hannity at three.
- 30:53Speaker 1: He got Jesse Kelly at six, and our big news show,
- 30:57Speaker 1: which everybody loves. You got to listen to. This is
- 30:59Speaker 1: Jimmy Fallop Jimmy Fayalam every night at nine on seven
- 31:03Speaker 1: to ten. WR set up reseat on the iHeartRadio app
- 31:07Speaker 1: to do wor to hear Mark Live.
- 31:10Speaker 6: Set another for Mark's podcast to hear him anytime now
- 31:15Speaker 6: back to Mark Simone on WOR.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Hey, you know it's funny. They announced that today is
- 31:21Speaker 1: the first gridlock alert day of the season. Gridlock alert day,
- 31:25Speaker 1: what was yesterday? What was the day before? It's goodlock
- 31:27Speaker 1: every day, but for some reason, gridlock alert day today.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Just bear that in mind. Hey, we'll be back in
- 31:33Speaker 1: the next hour. We got a lot to get to.
- 31:35Speaker 1: We'll get to the NFL's latest scheme, and we'll get
- 31:39Speaker 1: back to Mom Donnie, and we'll get to there's some
- 31:41Speaker 1: more Epstein stuff to delve into. We'll get to all
- 31:45Speaker 1: of that. Don't forget. I'm here every day ten to noon,
- 31:47Speaker 1: but also you could listen anytime day or night. Just
- 31:50Speaker 1: get the podcast wherever you get podcasts. Back right after
- 31:53Speaker 1: the news on seven to ten wo
