Economist, Founder and Head of investment firm, Jian Lian: "Russian-Chinese relations have improved significantly and are at their highest level ever"
One of the sectors experiencing significant growth is tourism. By the end of 2026, the number of trips to the People’s Republic of China is expected to exceed 1 million, while trips to the Russian Federation are projected to reach 1.5 million. This was reported by the Association of Tour Operators of Russia. The visa-free regime is having a positive impact on tourist traffic between the two countries: the leaders of both nations have extended it through the end of 2027.
