No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because everything I have learned from My Father I have made known to you. — John 15:15

Divine friendship with God is pure grace, for He freely opens His heart to those He draws near. Through the Spirit's searching light, forgiven sinners receive the same intimacy the Son enjoys with the Father. Obedience flows from this fellowship, because Christ has already revealed the Father's deepest purposes to us.
