- 0:22Speaker 4: And it's time to f * * * the show!
- 0:25Speaker 4: Time to talk, let's go!
- 0:31Speaker 6: Welcome, everyone, to the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast. I am
- 0:34Speaker 6: your host, injured WWE superstar, almost ready, Matt Cardona, a.k.a.
- 0:39Speaker 6: the $ 1, 000 broski, a.k.a. the Michael Jordan of Wrestling Figure Collecting, a.k.a.
- 0:44Speaker 6: the man who is going to drink his face off
- 0:45Speaker 6: tonight at Halloween Horror Nights.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Interesting. I'm also here, the most professional wrestler, TNA star,
- 0:52Speaker 1: proud member of the system, main character on AMC TV
- 0:56Speaker 1: Thursday nights at 9, Scotty Pippen of Wrestling Figure Collecting,
- 1:01Speaker 1: Brian Myers.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Well, I'm also your producer of the show, Smart Mark Sterling, Esquire.
- 1:05Speaker 2: The most famous professional wrestling lawyer in this show is
- 1:07Speaker 2: brought to you by our good friends, Ringside Collectibles. Use
- 1:12Speaker 2: code MAJOR to save 10%.
- 1:15Speaker 6: Use that code, baby. Ringside's got a lot of cool
- 1:18Speaker 6: things in the next couple weeks. It's going to be crazy.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Going to be crazy.
- 1:22Speaker 6: I was explaining to somebody in WWE, actually, because I'm
- 1:26Speaker 6: working on a WWE figure project, and I said, I
- 1:29Speaker 6: want to do things... like really new release figures, like
- 1:33Speaker 6: through ringside collectibles, how they get things months before the stores.
- 1:36Speaker 6: I don't want to be opening things that are in
- 1:38Speaker 6: Walmart and target because ringside got them in months ago.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:41Speaker 6: It's old news. Like ringside is the place to be,
- 1:44Speaker 6: be a big boy. I was also thinking like, of
- 1:48Speaker 6: course we, we've all gone on figure hunts, gone to Walmart,
- 1:51Speaker 6: got the target. And like every time I'm in a
- 1:53Speaker 6: Walmart or target, I'm, I go to the toy aisle,
- 1:56Speaker 6: but like, I do not miss the days of driving
- 1:58Speaker 6: there specifically hoping a figure would be there. You know
- 2:01Speaker 6: what I'm saying?
- 2:02Speaker 1: I understand the thrill, but you're just going to be
- 2:05Speaker 1: let down.
- 2:07Speaker 6: Time is money.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:08Speaker 6: The amount of time.
- 2:09Speaker 1: I completely understand the thrill, but you know what's a
- 2:12Speaker 1: great thrill? Getting packages in the mail. Bro, it's a
- 2:14Speaker 1: great thrill. It's a great thrill. Great thrill.
- 2:17Speaker 6: Paulson X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube at MajorDevPod. Subscribe to
- 2:21Speaker 6: this podcast wherever you get your podcasts and leave us
- 2:23Speaker 6: a review. A hashtag major review. If we read it
- 2:26Speaker 6: on air, you'll get a prize. Guys, I can't stress
- 2:28Speaker 6: this enough. I'm going to say it a bunch of
- 2:29Speaker 6: times on the show. It really helps us out if
- 2:31Speaker 6: you use that hashtag, especially if you leave us a review.
- 2:34Speaker 6: But we want to make this podcast spread like Rikishi's
- 2:37Speaker 6: butt cheeks, like Rory Fox's butt cheeks.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Spread them.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Spread them. An eight-year mission. Spread some cheeks. Tommy Hirschler,
- 2:47Speaker 2: hashtag major review, I love the fig hunts too. Fun listen.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Five stars. This podcast is with a great group of
- 2:55Speaker 2: guys who are funny and a pleasure to listen to.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Being born in the 80s, I love action figures, and
- 2:59Speaker 2: this podcast takes me right back. What an awesome hobby.
- 3:03Speaker 1: It is an awesome hobby. I agree. Love it.
- 3:07Speaker 6: The giveaway. Curzio ringside collectibles. Find the pinned post on X.
- 3:10Speaker 6: Repost to be eligible. Last week, it was the John
- 3:13Speaker 6: Cena from the vault. And this week, it's a mystery.
- 3:18Speaker 6: The winner of the John Cena is Smash. Crash.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Ashley. Ashley.
- 3:22Speaker 6: You win.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Smash Crash.
- 3:24Speaker 6: And it's a mystery prize. I'm sure by the time
- 3:27Speaker 6: this podcast is up, we will know exactly what it is. Follow-up, guys.
- 3:33Speaker 6: Good little follow-up. Brian, tell us about some TNA, Total
- 3:36Speaker 6: Nonstop Action.
- 3:37Speaker 1: TNA Wrestling was live from San Antonio, one of my
- 3:40Speaker 1: favorite buildings. I walked into this building. I immediately went, oh,
- 3:44Speaker 1: my God, this is where you wrestled Joe Henry for
- 3:47Speaker 1: the belt that I took that photo of you in
- 3:48Speaker 1: the chair, just like dejected. Like right when you walk in,
- 3:53Speaker 1: it's right there, like that garage. I don't recall. Very nice,
- 3:57Speaker 1: like brand new building in San Antonio, the Boeing Center.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I don't recall. Yeah, but awesome time, awesome crowds. The
- 4:03Speaker 1: system was doing our thing. Eddie Edwards versus Elijah, that
- 4:07Speaker 1: son of a B. This is from, TNA's been doing
- 4:10Speaker 1: this thing where we kind of like, they keep the
- 4:13Speaker 1: crowd entertained between the live commercials. They have guys just
- 4:16Speaker 1: like come out and do promos and stuff. So this
- 4:18Speaker 1: was like an off the cuff, system promo and you
- 4:23Speaker 1: know we just when we do these things we kind
- 4:25Speaker 1: of just decide like okay you talk i talk you
- 4:26Speaker 1: know whatever but i see the countdown going and like
- 4:30Speaker 1: i'm last and there's going to be no time for
- 4:32Speaker 1: me to say anything so i get the mic and
- 4:34Speaker 1: i just went let's go next in the play cuts
- 4:38Speaker 1: okay it got so bad so awesome time in san
- 4:41Speaker 1: antonio uh like i said eddie edwards versus eliza kick-ass
- 4:44Speaker 1: match we're on all roads are leading to bound for
- 4:47Speaker 1: glory guys i can't hype up bfg anymore October 11th, Tampa, Florida,
- 4:52Speaker 1: the biggest show of the year. We had some pretty
- 4:55Speaker 1: big debuts on this show that people are going to
- 4:57Speaker 1: be talking about, already are talking about. You know what
- 5:00Speaker 1: I mean? Maybe not jacked enough, this figure, I'm realizing
- 5:03Speaker 1: now here real quick.
- 5:03Speaker 6: Samuel Shaw.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Not jacked enough, but it's a very fun time of
- 5:08Speaker 1: TNA Wrestling, and like I said, we're headed to Bound
- 5:10Speaker 1: for Glory, which is the biggest show of the year.
- 5:11Speaker 6: I think this is the first Bound for Glory I'm
- 5:15Speaker 6: missing since I got released. Maybe I missed one or two,
- 5:19Speaker 6: but there's even.
- 5:20Speaker 1: You weren't on the Heath blew his guts out one,
- 5:22Speaker 1: the first one.
- 5:24Speaker 6: Oh, but that's the one. I'm not even there yet.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Right, right.
- 5:26Speaker 6: I'm not even into it. There's even a Balrogore where
- 5:28Speaker 6: I don't work for the company. I come in just
- 5:30Speaker 6: to do the gauntlet.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Right, right, yeah.
- 5:32Speaker 6: So, man, Balrogore's a huge show.
- 5:34Speaker 1: And I can confirm that I'm making my return to
- 5:37Speaker 1: the gauntlet after three years here now, so I'm excited.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I love that match.
- 5:41Speaker 6: Last year, I tried to throw out Greedo.
- 5:46Speaker 6: He didn't quite make it.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Borguito. Uh-oh.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Uh-oh.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Uh-oh.
- 5:55Speaker 6: Guys, this past week, I'm still working for WWE even
- 5:58Speaker 6: though I'm injured. I went to the Performance Center to
- 6:00Speaker 6: do voiceovers for the new video game. And where the
- 6:03Speaker 6: voiceovers are.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I'm back, bro. First of all, the voiceovers were... Yes.
- 6:11Speaker 6: Yes, that's what I had to do.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Really?
- 6:13Speaker 6: And it's so weird because like... Um, they have the
- 6:18Speaker 6: crowd playing in your ear cause they want you to
- 6:21Speaker 6: yell it and scream it. So people, the performance center,
- 6:23Speaker 6: probably thinking what the fuck's going on. Maybe they're used
- 6:25Speaker 6: to it. Right.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Cause it's the video game room, but I'm like, Oh, Oh,
- 6:30Speaker 1: you know, I'm doing like all that stuff. Bluetooth ad
- 6:33Speaker 1: for later, but.
- 6:35Speaker 6: Anyway, in, uh, the performance center, when I was doing
- 6:39Speaker 6: the voiceovers, I passed by this, I had to take
- 6:42Speaker 6: a picture. Robert Stone's office. I said years ago, Mr.
- 6:48Speaker 6: Stone WWE stole my gimmick and then unfriended me on Facebook.
- 6:51Speaker 6: So today I stole this from his office. It's the
- 6:54Speaker 6: Robert Stone nameplate.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I can't believe he even has an office. It's pretty unbelievable.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I went to dinner.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Isn't it weird that it's very similar to your office
- 7:05Speaker 2: right now?
- 7:06Speaker 1: Is it?
- 7:07Speaker 2: Look at the background. It's got little knickknacks and belts
- 7:10Speaker 2: behind him.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Similar. Not Purple Shelves, though.
- 7:13Speaker 6: No, that's not what it is.
- 7:14Speaker 2: He copied you again.
- 7:16Speaker 6: I went to dinner with Robert Stone, referee Danilo, Vic Joseph.
- 7:19Speaker 6: I will say, Robert Stone, Danilo did not pay. I
- 7:22Speaker 6: paid like a real man. Can't believe it. Can't believe it. Also, guys.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Does Robert wear like a little burglar mask when he
- 7:30Speaker 1: comes out of the evening? Oh, boy.
- 7:36Speaker 6: So working on the Toy Room, guys, as of this recording,
- 7:38Speaker 6: it is Sunday, September 27th. I would love to have
- 7:44Speaker 6: this done.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Happy birthday, Papa Bear, by the way.
- 7:46Speaker 6: Oh, happy birthday, Papa Bear. I would love to have
- 7:47Speaker 6: this done by October 27th. I started, but it's not
- 7:53Speaker 6: finished yet. I'll tell you why. My Christmas shelf. Take
- 7:56Speaker 6: a look at my Christmas shelf here.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Christmas shelf.
- 7:59Speaker 6: A little Christmas shelf here. We got Turbo Man. We
- 8:01Speaker 6: got some Rudolph stuff, Home Alone stuff. I do need
- 8:05Speaker 6: to get this particular shelf is on the same shelf
- 8:09Speaker 6: as my Beetlejuice collection. So I have some more space
- 8:12Speaker 6: height wise. So I want to get a triple small
- 8:16Speaker 6: Joe's riser. So it's not so cluttered. You know what
- 8:18Speaker 6: I'm saying? Like the triple tier, which wouldn't fit in it.
- 8:22Speaker 6: That those wouldn't fit in a detox. You couldn't like
- 8:24Speaker 6: really put a figure on that on the top, but
- 8:27Speaker 6: I have room, you know, for a triple.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Okay.
- 8:30Speaker 6: So it's my little, Christmas.
- 8:32Speaker 1: It's fun.
- 8:34Speaker 6: Brian, you have those Mezco Christmas Vacation figures, right?
- 8:38Speaker 1: I do, and I actually have that Kevin. Really? I mean,
- 8:42Speaker 1: the kids have it.
- 8:43Speaker 6: Well, NECA. And then, of course, I have a NECA.
- 8:46Speaker 1: No, no, the kids have the OG bad talking Kevin.
- 8:49Speaker 7: Oh, wow.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I got a vintage store for them.
- 8:52Speaker 6: And then I have a diehard figure because I consider
- 8:54Speaker 6: that a Christmas movie. I know that's very controversial.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I don't know why that's so controversial, but yes.
- 8:58Speaker 6: What do you think? Do you think it is or
- 8:59Speaker 6: it's not?
- 8:59Speaker 1: I think it is. I think it is.
- 9:01Speaker 6: Mark, what do you think?
- 9:03Speaker 2: I think it is.
- 9:04Speaker 6: All right.
- 9:05Speaker 1: That's fine.
- 9:07Speaker 6: Guys, I've been deep diving, talking to a lot of people. Please,
- 9:12Speaker 6: if you haven't listened already to last week's episode, The
- 9:14Speaker 6: Big Boss Man number two.
- 9:15Speaker 8: Oh, man.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 9:16Speaker 6: What set is he in? What assortment is he in?
- 9:20Speaker 6: What series is he in? Whatever terminology you want to use.
- 9:22Speaker 6: Did he come with like Slaughter, Natural Disaster is Perfect,
- 9:26Speaker 6: or is he with Brett... Taker, Steamboat, and Bulldog. According
- 9:32Speaker 6: to the official documents, D, D, I'd love for you.
- 9:35Speaker 1: To pop in to chime in. You ready to come
- 9:37Speaker 1: take your L, D? No, he's not going to take
- 9:39Speaker 1: an L. Come take your L.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Hot last week.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Bye.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Bye.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Hello hey d hi guys.
- 10:03Speaker 6: So a lot of this won't make sense unless you
- 10:05Speaker 6: listen to last week's okay so ttd our artist our
- 10:11Speaker 6: broski our family member our friend He hit us up.
- 10:14Speaker 6: He said, watching the pod, I can't argue with all
- 10:17Speaker 6: the logic around Bossman officially sat from a Hasbro perspective. However,
- 10:21Speaker 6: I still remember walking into Woolworths and there being three
- 10:24Speaker 6: new guys in the end cap, Taker, Bulldog, and Brett.
- 10:27Speaker 6: My grandma said I could pick one and I couldn't
- 10:29Speaker 6: decide between Taker and Bulldog, so she let me take both.
- 10:32Speaker 6: One of my happiest wrestling memories already. Already knew about
- 10:36Speaker 6: Bossman and didn't see Steamboat until later. So he has
- 10:40Speaker 6: a very similar experience to Brian and I. already having
- 10:42Speaker 6: or knowing about Boss Man, and then finding Bulldog, Steamboat, Brett,
- 10:47Speaker 6: and Taker. But there's no denying things like this if
- 10:49Speaker 6: you're watching on YouTube. This is the official Assortment 3,
- 10:54Speaker 6: not advertisement, promotional. What would you call this, D?
- 10:57Speaker 1: Catalog picture, right?
- 10:58Speaker 3: Yeah, this is from the Toy Fair 92 catalog.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Which, two weeks in a row, is really infuriating me
- 11:03Speaker 1: with that upside-down cape on the dragon, but let's move on.
- 11:07Speaker 6: Yeah, so it shows Bulldog, Steamboat, Taker, and Brett with...
- 11:12Speaker 6: The big boss man. There's some other things I found. Dee,
- 11:15Speaker 6: do we have the other information here?
- 11:17Speaker 3: Yeah, Ryan couldn't find a picture from the Woolworths catalog,
- 11:22Speaker 3: but there was this from the Argos catalog, I believe,
- 11:24Speaker 3: for Christmas 92.
- 11:27Speaker 6: No, it's not showing Steamboat, but it is showing those three.
- 11:30Speaker 6: No boss man.
- 11:31Speaker 3: He just sent this photo, so I just figured I'd share.
- 11:35Speaker 6: No concrete proof here, but just okay. A little more
- 11:38Speaker 6: leaning towards our opinion.
- 11:42Speaker 3: And then there was also this as well.
- 11:43Speaker 6: So Collectorati, the Collectorate, I hit him up on Instagram
- 11:46Speaker 6: and said, what do you think? Do you think it's
- 11:49Speaker 6: three or four? And obviously, guys, we know now there's
- 11:52Speaker 6: not in series, but for the sake of this conversation,
- 11:54Speaker 6: we're going to call it series three and four. He
- 11:57Speaker 6: believes it's in series four. And remember I said last
- 11:59Speaker 6: week that the Bossman's on the back of series three?
- 12:02Speaker 6: I didn't realize that the drawing changes on series four.
- 12:06Speaker 6: So here, if you're watching, is how Bossman looks on
- 12:08Speaker 6: the back of series three. And how he looks on
- 12:11Speaker 6: the back of Series 4.
- 12:12Speaker 1: That is bizarre. I don't understand how that happened. Very bizarre.
- 12:16Speaker 6: Just a weird.
- 12:17Speaker 3: And when you say Series 3, it's the first and
- 12:20Speaker 3: second assortment of 1992. Six characters per wave. So I
- 12:25Speaker 3: think the first one before that was with the third
- 12:29Speaker 3: edition of Warrior. With the purple, I believe.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Coco.
- 12:33Speaker 3: And the one before that, I think, had Typhoon and
- 12:35Speaker 3: Earthquake in it. So yeah, the first and second assortment
- 12:38Speaker 3: feature uh boss man on the back but as well
- 12:41Speaker 3: as other characters from the 1992 wave as well as
- 12:43Speaker 3: other characters from 1991 as well so there is like
- 12:45Speaker 3: a mix of uh just everything because uh there was
- 12:48Speaker 3: no full like uh continuity to where they had to
- 12:52Speaker 3: cross cells at least in the format that they were
- 12:54Speaker 3: doing wasn't about per assortment or anything it wasn't the
- 12:57Speaker 3: full assortment that was pictured on the back it was
- 12:59Speaker 3: just what was available for that for the previous uh
- 13:03Speaker 3: autumn and winter season as well as spring and summer
- 13:05Speaker 3: when the first and second assortment came out.
- 13:08Speaker 2: How would we find out somebody at Hasbro that worked there?
- 13:13Speaker 1: It's not. It's impossible.
- 13:14Speaker 6: Is it possible? From all the stuff that Dee found,
- 13:17Speaker 6: and I think Dee is unfortunately right. I do believe
- 13:20Speaker 6: that the facts don't lie, that he technically is with
- 13:25Speaker 6: the Bulldog, Brett, Taker, and Steamboat.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Considered internally with them, yes.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Yes.
- 13:32Speaker 2: But did he ship in those boxes?
- 13:34Speaker 6: Maybe not. that that's something I don't know if we'll
- 13:37Speaker 6: ever find out. There is some more information. So we
- 13:39Speaker 6: were trying to find the actual drawing of boss man.
- 13:41Speaker 6: Number two, we have not been able to find that.
- 13:43Speaker 3: It looks very similar to that line art right there.
- 13:45Speaker 3: I mean, I've never seen it, but that's definitely what
- 13:47Speaker 3: they took it from that. That is probably the line art,
- 13:50Speaker 3: but either that looks like Ron style.
- 13:52Speaker 1: So, uh, yeah, because the, the first image here looks
- 13:55Speaker 1: like a drawing. And then the sec, the second one
- 13:57Speaker 1: looks like a drawing of the actual product.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:00Speaker 6: Right.
- 14:00Speaker 1: We know. Yep.
- 14:02Speaker 6: Um, and then TTD, I don't know what you have
- 14:04Speaker 6: next D. What do you have next, D?
- 14:06Speaker 3: The mini.
- 14:07Speaker 1: This is a valid argument here.
- 14:09Speaker 6: CTD made a great point and something I didn't even
- 14:12Speaker 6: think about last week. Boss man number two is in
- 14:16Speaker 6: the Royal Rumble ring with the minis of everybody in
- 14:21Speaker 6: that previous assortment. There is no taker. There is no Brett.
- 14:23Speaker 6: There is no Bulldog. This is not a smoking gun.
- 14:26Speaker 6: It's just, guys, we're just having fun here. We're talking
- 14:28Speaker 6: about a big boss man figure here, right? But I
- 14:31Speaker 6: just thought it was very interesting that that boss man's
- 14:34Speaker 6: in there And this comes out before technically the Bossman figure,
- 14:39Speaker 6: according to these Hasbro internal documents, came out.
- 14:43Speaker 3: I believe this came out around the same time. It
- 14:45Speaker 3: may have came out earlier. There's no concrete confirmation on that.
- 14:48Speaker 3: But I would assume it's the fall and winter season
- 14:51Speaker 3: of 1992 because this wasn't featured in the spring. And
- 14:55Speaker 3: the spring 1992 catalog, usually the Toy Fair one would
- 14:59Speaker 3: show the whole year. And then the spring one would
- 15:01Speaker 3: just be the ones available for that year for the
- 15:03Speaker 3: order form. Uh, so yeah, this was the, uh, uh,
- 15:06Speaker 3: the mini play set that was included with the, the
- 15:08Speaker 3: Royal Rumble ring two inch figure. Uh, the slaughter came out,
- 15:11Speaker 3: I think in the first assortment or second assortment of 1992,
- 15:14Speaker 3: as well as that, that Hogan, I think came out in, uh, the, uh, uh,
- 15:18Speaker 3: that's the third edition of Hogan or no. Yeah. Third
- 15:20Speaker 3: edition of Hogan, uh, with the, uh, suplex mechanism, uh,
- 15:24Speaker 3: the million dollar man. That's a 1991 release. The Jake,
- 15:26Speaker 3: the snake technically 19 in 1990, but it was carry forwarded, uh,
- 15:30Speaker 3: for 91. So still a fresh character at that.
- 15:33Speaker 6: And the Macho Man is the one with the famous
- 15:35Speaker 6: long tights that, you know, the figure is not actually
- 15:38Speaker 6: like that.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Yes.
- 15:40Speaker 6: Just listen, very interesting stuff. There's no denying there is
- 15:43Speaker 6: some controversy around this Bossman. It's not clear cut, in
- 15:46Speaker 6: my opinion.
- 15:47Speaker 3: 1992, I mean, 1992 was basically the year of Babyface
- 15:50Speaker 3: Bossman because they also released the Buddy at the time,
- 15:53Speaker 3: new for 1992, the WF Wrestling Buddies Assortment 1 with Hogan.
- 15:58Speaker 3: And then also what was planned to come out, as
- 16:01Speaker 3: well as that mini wrestling ring, That did come out.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Wrestling Buddy came out. But these also were scheduled for
- 16:06Speaker 3: 1992 as well. Babyface, Boss Man.
- 16:09Speaker 1: I wonder who has those in their toy room.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 16:14Speaker 6: I do.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Yeah. Like back to what Mark said, we're never going
- 16:17Speaker 1: to know because nobody works there remembers or cares.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Well, here is the green standard tag. Okay.
- 16:22Speaker 6: So this is also very, this helps D's argument. It's
- 16:26Speaker 6: a green standard tag. And look what it says up top.
- 16:28Speaker 6: Assortment three, which is technically series four. Right, D, or
- 16:31Speaker 6: am I incorrect here?
- 16:32Speaker 3: Assortment seven. Assortment seven. Yeah, assortment seven overall, wave seven overall,
- 16:38Speaker 3: third assortment four, 1992. And, yeah, big boss man. There's
- 16:42Speaker 3: no other green cards out here with him with a
- 16:45Speaker 3: different card back. The only one that's in existence dated
- 16:48Speaker 3: June 17, 1992, when it was reviewed.
- 16:53Speaker 6: But this green standard tag says assortments three, does it not?
- 16:58Speaker 3: Assortment three, yeah. I'm saying they were usually– initially it
- 17:02Speaker 3: started out with just two assortments, two assortments for 1990.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Then for 1991, I think it was still two assortments
- 17:07Speaker 3: or might have got bumped.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Up to three. Just so people understand, assortment in this
- 17:13Speaker 1: way means how the cases come, right?
- 17:17Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the Master Carton with those six characters, six
- 17:20Speaker 3: characters per assortment.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Right.
- 17:22Speaker 3: So when people say series one, it's those 12 figures,
- 17:25Speaker 3: but those 12 figures were split up into two separate assortments.
- 17:28Speaker 3: So technically you can say wave one, but those are
- 17:30Speaker 3: technically two different assortments, wave one and wave two. But
- 17:33Speaker 3: when people say like a wave of product, they did
- 17:36Speaker 3: come in stores at the same time, but they were
- 17:38Speaker 3: split across two separate assortments. So internally and by item
- 17:41Speaker 3: number and or assortment number, they are two separate assortments.
- 17:44Speaker 6: It gets very confusing depending on what terminology you want
- 17:48Speaker 6: to use. Like, I don't think Anyone is wrong in saying,
- 17:51Speaker 6: I don't care if you came out in the box
- 17:53Speaker 6: one or box two. If you're in that first set,
- 17:55Speaker 6: that's series one.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Right. I mean, yeah.
- 17:59Speaker 6: But Hasbro, only us collectors have named it series one.
- 18:03Speaker 6: Hasbro did not call it series one. How Mattel calls
- 18:05Speaker 6: things by series. Hasbro, especially at this time, did not
- 18:08Speaker 6: call it that way.
- 18:09Speaker 3: The series stuff didn't start until... collector stuff started becoming
- 18:12Speaker 3: more popular with like Toy Biz and Spider-Man Classics. Same
- 18:17Speaker 3: with Spawn as well with McFarlane.
- 18:19Speaker 1: The artwork that TTD did that hangs on my wall,
- 18:21Speaker 1: he has Bossman in Series 3, by the way. I mean,
- 18:25Speaker 1: that's just by his... Because listen, it's really... But that's
- 18:28Speaker 1: been the public perception for so long. I think it's
- 18:31Speaker 1: a good 50-50.
- 18:32Speaker 6: You go on certain like checklists online, some list them
- 18:34Speaker 6: with three, some list them with four. Listen, guys, we're
- 18:38Speaker 6: just talking because, guys, at the end of the day...
- 18:41Speaker 6: We have a podcast about wrestling figures.
- 18:43Speaker 1: I mean, this is what the show is.
- 18:45Speaker 4: Right.
- 18:45Speaker 6: That's what this show is so great.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Well, there's one thing that's for sure, and that is
- 18:51Speaker 2: that Matt has him in the correct position on his
- 18:55Speaker 2: wall because you have him right before.
- 18:57Speaker 1: If he's between three and four, then whatever.
- 18:59Speaker 6: Well, actually, guys, I actually, D might have to, I
- 19:03Speaker 6: think D screwed me because I believe that the LOD
- 19:07Speaker 6: and the Nasty split those two sets up. Am I right, D?
- 19:13Speaker 6: Or do you have that list still?
- 19:16Speaker 3: Oh.
- 19:16Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying, Mark?
- 19:17Speaker 1: Shit. I have my tag team separate.
- 19:20Speaker 2: That's why you tried to figure it out.
- 19:24Speaker 6: Oh, no.
- 19:25Speaker 1: To me, they're all the same color. Cardings are like,
- 19:27Speaker 1: who cares? At this point, who cares? I don't know.
- 19:29Speaker 6: And also, guys, I said it last week. The item
- 19:32Speaker 6: number is like before like a Mr.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Perfect. So that makes me think.
- 19:39Speaker 6: That's what.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Take the LD.
- 19:41Speaker 6: No, I wouldn't say take the LD, but that makes
- 19:43Speaker 6: me think that it's not cut and dry. There is
- 19:45Speaker 6: something strange.
- 19:46Speaker 1: In the name.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, like in the cases of a lot
- 19:48Speaker 3: of times, there's... items that get re-slotted. So initially, this
- 19:52Speaker 3: may have been slotted for Assortment 6, which was the
- 19:55Speaker 3: second assortment of 1992, because it does fall in line.
- 19:58Speaker 3: I think this is 7043. I think the Warrior, I think,
- 20:02Speaker 3: was 7042. And the Coco, or let me see. I
- 20:06Speaker 3: got it right here.
- 20:07Speaker 2: There's a retired marketing guy. somewhere in Rhode Island who
- 20:11Speaker 2: has information on this and has no idea that there
- 20:13Speaker 2: are people that are.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Talking about it. Yeah, we'll never know, and he'll never know.
- 20:15Speaker 6: And maybe this is just my, this is kind of
- 20:17Speaker 6: off topic, but maybe this is my personal experience. I
- 20:21Speaker 6: remember Warrior coming out later.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Same. Or maybe he was just hard to find.
- 20:30Speaker 6: He was certainly hard to find. I had to get
- 20:31Speaker 6: him to LNS Comics.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Yeah, as a kid, you guys, he was probably the
- 20:35Speaker 2: first one sold out.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I don't remember Warrior 3 on the shelves at all.
- 20:40Speaker 6: The only time I ever saw him was at LNS Comics.
- 20:43Speaker 3: Well, he was a part of Assortment 2, technically the
- 20:46Speaker 3: sixth wave overall, and that included the carry forward of
- 20:48Speaker 3: the Series 1 Hogan, Assortment 1 Hogan, which is 7-0-0-1,
- 20:54Speaker 3: Ultimate Warrior 7-0-4-2, that's the third edition in the purple,
- 20:58Speaker 3: and then the Texas Tornado 7-0-4-4, so Bossman is 7-0-4-3,
- 21:01Speaker 3: so potentially he may have been initially done through there,
- 21:06Speaker 3: and then they pivoted MyTheory, Educated theory is potentially because
- 21:10Speaker 3: the Greg Hammer Valentine that was initially slotted for the
- 21:15Speaker 3: first wave for 1991 of the tag team assortment with
- 21:20Speaker 3: Hockey Talk Man as part of the Rhythm and Blues. Initially,
- 21:23Speaker 3: it was developed and there is the blueprint by Dan Price.
- 21:27Speaker 3: I think it was dated in February or 1990. I
- 21:30Speaker 3: had it listed here. But yeah, so initially it was
- 21:35Speaker 3: done with the shin guard. He debuted the new look,
- 21:37Speaker 3: I think, for the March TV tapings filmed in February
- 21:41Speaker 3: of 1990. So he changed his look. So then they
- 21:43Speaker 3: changed it. I'm sure there was a new blueprint design
- 21:45Speaker 3: that was done for the sculpt input. So the figure
- 21:49Speaker 3: was changed. And then they just revisited going back to
- 21:51Speaker 3: that previous documentation because he had stopped wearing the shin
- 21:54Speaker 3: guard by the time he had returned to that look.
- 21:57Speaker 3: returned to his blonde look as opposed to the jacket
- 22:00Speaker 3: and jet black hair. So that's my educated guess is
- 22:04Speaker 3: that potentially he was reslotted, but there's no concrete information
- 22:07Speaker 3: on that, nor is there probably any Hasbro employee that
- 22:10Speaker 3: wants or cares.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 22:12Speaker 1: There's just no way. I mean, we talk about it
- 22:14Speaker 1: all the time, that Ron Rudat zombie interview. Poor Ron Rudat. Like,
- 22:17Speaker 1: Ron doesn't give a shit. He's just drawing. He didn't
- 22:19Speaker 1: know anything or care, or just didn't stay with him.
- 22:22Speaker 1: So we're way too deep for that.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Well, now, now that's not usually the case. Now, now
- 22:29Speaker 3: there are people, uh, like, uh, Robert, right. Steve, all
- 22:33Speaker 3: the collectors that grew up with this product are now
- 22:35Speaker 3: working on the product. So, and that's something that collectors, uh,
- 22:38Speaker 3: like ourselves, uh, like to see because, uh, it's not,
- 22:42Speaker 3: it's not just a job to them. It's, it's a,
- 22:43Speaker 3: it's a passion, but also you gotta do a job.
- 22:46Speaker 1: I love it.
- 22:48Speaker 6: I just love talking about this market. I'd really love
- 22:49Speaker 6: if you could take the two bits from last week's
- 22:52Speaker 6: pod and then this one and make it like a
- 22:53Speaker 6: special video, like just a, A little controversy.
- 22:57Speaker 3: There could be more next week. There could be more.
- 22:59Speaker 6: That's what I'm saying.
- 23:00Speaker 3: This could continue.
- 23:01Speaker 6: I hope it does.
- 23:02Speaker 2: The saga.
- 23:03Speaker 6: The saga.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Yeah, Mark, put this all together. The two times we
- 23:06Speaker 1: talked about it last week. This is the real dark
- 23:07Speaker 1: side of Big Boss Man.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Yes.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Yes.
- 23:10Speaker 6: And call it that. Call it that, Mark. We'll get
- 23:12Speaker 6: some clips.
- 23:13Speaker 2: We'll get some clicks. I'll talk to you, but I
- 23:15Speaker 2: think that there could be a way to put this
- 23:18Speaker 2: all together in a more streamlined episode.
- 23:23Speaker 6: Oh, I like that.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 23:25Speaker 3: All right.
- 23:25Speaker 6: Thanks, D. You can stick around, D, because you always–
- 23:28Speaker 6: what about this? You can stick around.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Why not?
- 23:30Speaker 6: Major Mark Lucas Cucuccio. This was cool. We talked about
- 23:34Speaker 6: it last week. Oh, what if someone got the American
- 23:36Speaker 6: Gladiator signed by Rico Constantino?
- 23:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:41Speaker 6: And he has it all ready to go.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Pretty awesome.
- 23:44Speaker 6: Signed Rico Constantino. He is the red– if I was Rico,
- 23:49Speaker 6: I would count this as me. I'm on the package.
- 23:53Speaker 1: I mean, that's the coolest part, right?
- 23:55Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 23:56Speaker 6: Guys, go check out this bonus episode if you haven't.
- 23:58Speaker 6: Dee did a hell of a job. I unboxed all
- 24:02Speaker 6: of my figures this week and put them on display.
- 24:05Speaker 6: So fun.
- 24:06Speaker 1: It's one of those things, and I did this when
- 24:08Speaker 1: I recollected Hasbro's, too. They were so big to me
- 24:12Speaker 1: when I was a kid, and now that I'm a
- 24:13Speaker 1: grown-up with a giant hand, I was like, oh, my God,
- 24:15Speaker 1: these are so tiny.
- 24:18Speaker 6: They're very tiny.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Three and a half inches. It's a little taller than
- 24:22Speaker 3: a knuckle cruncher.
- 24:23Speaker 6: They're so fun, though. I thought that was really, really
- 24:25Speaker 6: interesting that he had that ready to go. Always ready,
- 24:28Speaker 6: Lucas Cucuccio. Next up, what about this? Did you listen
- 24:33Speaker 6: to Apollo? Apollo Crews, UHA Nation on Chris VanVleet?
- 24:36Speaker 1: I did, yes.
- 24:37Speaker 6: Great interview. Check it out. And he's been doing a
- 24:40Speaker 6: great job getting all of his figures. He had more
- 24:44Speaker 6: figures than I thought.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Eight figures.
- 24:47Speaker 6: Which one is the infamous peg warmer?
- 24:49Speaker 3: It was his first elite. Yeah, the Elite 49.
- 24:52Speaker 1: The one all the way to the right.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Top right, yeah.
- 24:55Speaker 6: So eight figures. Are the second and third the same figure?
- 25:02Speaker 3: One comes with... It's technically a chase variant, but yeah.
- 25:05Speaker 3: It's five items overall, but he had three chase variants,
- 25:07Speaker 3: so that makes it eight.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I got it. But super talented. Even the bottom
- 25:12Speaker 1: left two are chases, right? Yeah.
- 25:15Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 25:17Speaker 6: I hope he... Land somewhere to get another figure.
- 25:22Speaker 1: That would be great. Apollo's a great dude.
- 25:23Speaker 6: TNA, you know, anywhere.
- 25:24Speaker 1: I think the most person I've wrestled in my career.
- 25:28Speaker 6: He's so great. One funny story about Apollo is when
- 25:30Speaker 6: I came back to WWE this time, they put us
- 25:34Speaker 6: together in a tag match on Main Event, and we
- 25:37Speaker 6: both had the same idea, like, let's do no tag moves.
- 25:40Speaker 6: We don't want them to think this is an idea,
- 25:42Speaker 6: a good idea. Let's do nothing together. Let's not show teamwork. Chelsea!
- 25:47Speaker 1: Chelsea!
- 25:48Speaker 6: My beautiful wife, Chelsea Green. You want to say hi
- 25:50Speaker 6: to everybody?
- 25:52Speaker 1: She probably just wants to go to Halloween Horror Nights.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Coffee delivery. Oh, wow.
- 25:56Speaker 5: That was a splash.
- 25:58Speaker 6: A splash.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Is she coming for your Hall of Fame induction?
- 26:02Speaker 6: Chelsea, Brian asked, are you going to my Kailun High
- 26:06Speaker 6: School Hall of Fame induction?
- 26:09Speaker 2: I asked him.
- 26:10Speaker 6: I'm scared I'm going to run into some of his
- 26:12Speaker 6: ex-girlfriends and have to That's not going to happen.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Why don't you tell the class the run-ins that we've
- 26:19Speaker 2: had with all these exes lately?
- 26:21Speaker 1: Uh-oh.
- 26:22Speaker 2: All of a sudden, 10 years in now, girls used
- 26:24Speaker 2: to like him?
- 26:25Speaker 8: Like, please.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Please.
- 26:28Speaker 6: What are you talking about, babe?
- 26:29Speaker 1: Man, I'm very curious about that.
- 26:33Speaker 6: No straw?
- 26:34Speaker 1: Going to make sure... Tennille Dashwood doesn't listen to the
- 26:38Speaker 1: show this week. Oh, Jesus.
- 26:40Speaker 2: What are the ex-girlfriends? Princess Leia?
- 26:42Speaker 1: Yeah, what are we talking about? The Hoski?
- 26:44Speaker 6: One of those interviews, those many interviews I did last
- 26:47Speaker 6: week in New York, the guy, Chris, the interviewer, dated
- 26:54Speaker 6: a girl from Calhoun and thought that I had hooked
- 26:57Speaker 6: up with her. I'm like, no, no, no, I didn't.
- 26:59Speaker 6: And then Chelsea went like, psycho. And he asked about
- 27:01Speaker 6: this in front of your wife?
- 27:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:03Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 27:04Speaker 1: That's not on you. That's on him. That's bizarre.
- 27:07Speaker 6: We were friendly.
- 27:08Speaker 1: I know, but so, yeah.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Anyway.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Why does that guy look so familiar?
- 27:13Speaker 6: He's from New York.
- 27:15Speaker 1: I don't know. Why do I feel like.
- 27:16Speaker 6: He's a very famous comedian. He's like a million followers
- 27:19Speaker 6: on social media, famous podcast. He's probably come over your timeline. Anyway, Brian,
- 27:25Speaker 6: tell us about this PSA app update.
- 27:30Speaker 1: The birthday boy, Papa Bear, texted me last week and said,
- 27:32Speaker 1: have you seen this? And I said, no. And like,
- 27:34Speaker 1: if you update your PSA app, now you can log everything.
- 27:39Speaker 1: And it will tell you. This is the next picture.
- 27:42Speaker 8: Unreal.
- 27:42Speaker 1: And it will tell you its value like on the spot.
- 27:45Speaker 1: So like, I was like, what? And then it keeps
- 27:48Speaker 1: it all like data, like the stock market.
- 27:52Speaker 6: It's like my Fidelity account.
- 27:54Speaker 1: I was like.
- 27:55Speaker 6: So I started doing it. It's called a portfolio.
- 27:57Speaker 1: So I couldn't even continue my day. I started doing it.
- 28:00Speaker 1: And then I'm just racing around, blogging all my stuff.
- 28:04Speaker 1: I have a whole new bank account now. It's kind
- 28:07Speaker 1: of insane. I didn't put any of my raw cards in.
- 28:11Speaker 1: I didn't put any of my Beckett slab stuff. Kind
- 28:14Speaker 1: of nuts. I do the same thing.
- 28:16Speaker 6: I have about 80 graded cards, which I don't think
- 28:20Speaker 6: is a lot. Maybe it is. Maybe it isn't. I
- 28:22Speaker 6: guess it's all relative.
- 28:22Speaker 1: It's a lot.
- 28:24Speaker 6: But I was shocked at the value of some of
- 28:26Speaker 6: my cards. And I was also shocked that some cards,
- 28:30Speaker 6: I guess they have no value because there's no other pop.
- 28:34Speaker 6: How does that work, Brian? Some things I put in,
- 28:37Speaker 6: they had no value for it.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's when you log them, but then look,
- 28:40Speaker 1: it will come up with something when you click it.
- 28:43Speaker 6: And also, can you explain to me the difference between
- 28:46Speaker 6: the PSA estimate and the card ladder estimate?
- 28:48Speaker 1: I don't know. I really don't. This is all so
- 28:50Speaker 1: new to me. But mine's telling me like, How much
- 28:53Speaker 1: I have overall, and I'm down 90 bucks in the
- 28:57Speaker 1: past month. Things have gone down.
- 29:00Speaker 6: It's really like you're looking at a stock portfolio.
- 29:03Speaker 1: It's crazy with the chart and everything. I don't want
- 29:06Speaker 1: to flash my thing on the screen because it's private information,
- 29:09Speaker 1: but very cool, very addicting. Shout out to PSA for
- 29:14Speaker 1: doing this. As if they needed more customers. They can't
- 29:17Speaker 1: even fulfill orders online. No. Because they're a million something behind,
- 29:21Speaker 1: and they're so backed up, and now they have this.
- 29:23Speaker 1: And this is also going to definitely keep people loyal
- 29:27Speaker 1: to them, right?
- 29:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:28Speaker 1: I know. So it's crazy. Also, you got to take
- 29:31Speaker 1: it for what it's worth. It's what they're telling you
- 29:33Speaker 1: it's worth, I guess. but it's still enough.
- 29:35Speaker 6: It's only worth what someone's willing to pay at that
- 29:36Speaker 6: particular time.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Of course.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Well, it's a good, like, estimation.
- 29:40Speaker 6: It's a great estimation. Yeah.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:42Speaker 1: But I had some ones that were, like, shocking, dude.
- 29:45Speaker 1: I had, like, a LeBron to 15 that was worth, like,
- 29:47Speaker 1: 800 bucks. I have a Jalen Brunson auto that's worth, like,
- 29:51Speaker 1: 700 bucks. Otani rookie that was, like, 1,400. My Dusty Rhodes, uh, uh,
- 30:00Speaker 1: TNA auto is like five 50. So some crazy, crazy
- 30:05Speaker 1: fun ones. Yeah.
- 30:06Speaker 6: So I have the, the 1999 tops WCW NWO signed
- 30:11Speaker 6: macho man.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:13Speaker 6: So the card ladder, this is my, this one says,
- 30:16Speaker 6: but this is very interesting. It says the card ladder value, $ 14, 439,
- 30:20Speaker 6: which I did not pay anywhere near that. But it
- 30:25Speaker 6: says confidence one of five, one out of five confidence
- 30:28Speaker 6: ratings are based on a one to five scale. The
- 30:30Speaker 6: card ladder database includes over 3 million unique sales from
- 30:33Speaker 6: thousands of verified cards. Thousands of cards are added every
- 30:36Speaker 6: day to improve the actual price data estimate. So on
- 30:39Speaker 6: a scale from 1 to 5, I only got a
- 30:41Speaker 6: 1 out of 5 on the confidence of the value.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:44Speaker 6: I'm a little confused by that.
- 30:46Speaker 1: I don't know. I really don't know. But now I'm realizing,
- 30:48Speaker 1: I don't know, like my SmartMark Sterling autograph here has
- 30:55Speaker 1: an A for value.
- 30:56Speaker 6: Well, that's what's weird about this Macho Man. It says
- 30:59Speaker 6: PSA estimate NA, but then it has the card ladder
- 31:02Speaker 6: value of $ 14, 000.
- 31:03Speaker 1: How do you find that? I mean, I have.
- 31:06Speaker 6: You just click on it. Click on the card.
- 31:08Speaker 1: You know what? Because I put in my Kurt Hennig
- 31:11Speaker 1: auto from that set. It's a PSA 9, Kurt Hennig auto, NA.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Then where do you click the card ladder thing?
- 31:25Speaker 6: It should just be there. At least mine is. Here's mine.
- 31:28Speaker 6: They don't even have a picture. This is my Macho
- 31:30Speaker 6: Man PSA 9.
- 31:33Speaker 1: And then where do you... Oh, NA on that too.
- 31:38Speaker 6: So weird.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Wow. I have double NA on my NA. It's a
- 31:43Speaker 1: PSA 9 auto and I don't have the value on it.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Population 2. None higher.
- 31:50Speaker 6: You don't have to say the value, but give me
- 31:51Speaker 6: your top 4 cards.
- 31:55Speaker 8: I mean.
- 31:56Speaker 1: I kind of mentioned a bunch of them. A Tani rookie,
- 31:59Speaker 1: Brunson auto, a LeBron to 15, a Jim, Jim 10.
- 32:03Speaker 1: All these are Jim 10, except the dusty auto. Isn't
- 32:06Speaker 1: a Jim 10, but low pop. Oh, so the dusty,
- 32:11Speaker 1: my car ladder is like double the price. This is
- 32:13Speaker 1: a thousand plus.
- 32:14Speaker 6: Okay.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:17Speaker 6: My number one is that macho man. My number two
- 32:19Speaker 6: is my PSA 10 Woody.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Which we just discussed to this show.
- 32:25Speaker 6: Uh, number three is my PSA 10 comic images, the rock,
- 32:29Speaker 6: which I consider his rookie card.
- 32:31Speaker 8: Right.
- 32:32Speaker 6: Um, number four is a, is a PSA nine garbage
- 32:35Speaker 6: pail kids, Chelsea green.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Yeah. So this is even more interesting. So like my
- 32:39Speaker 1: Otani is saying PSA thinks it's 1400, but then when
- 32:43Speaker 1: I click it, the card ladder has it at 1100.
- 32:46Speaker 1: So it's, it's vice versa. It's less.
- 32:48Speaker 6: Hmm.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Wow. So guys, I can't, I mean, this is not
- 32:53Speaker 1: like I'm not getting any money out of this or
- 32:54Speaker 1: it's not a plug, but I can't express how addicting
- 32:57Speaker 1: and I literally couldn't focus until I had got everything
- 33:00Speaker 1: logged in. I was so excited.
- 33:03Speaker 6: Speaking of cards, we're going to talk about a lot
- 33:05Speaker 6: on this show, the newest Macadona Tops card, which I hate,
- 33:09Speaker 6: my least favorite card of all time. But Brian, is
- 33:12Speaker 6: this a real card? Is this a fake? Are you
- 33:13Speaker 6: just trying to be a dick? What's this?
- 33:15Speaker 1: We'll find out. We'll find out.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Wait, wait, wait, wait. How did you, did you go
- 33:20Speaker 2: and pose this way?
- 33:22Speaker 1: What?
- 33:23Speaker 2: It's on, you did it so good.
- 33:25Speaker 6: This is, according to Dee Freedom's notes, this is AI generated.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Oh, is this AI slop, Dee?
- 33:32Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 33:34Speaker 2: It's so good, though.
- 33:36Speaker 6: It's so funny. I legit died.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Bro, I had Lish taking this with my phone. While
- 33:43Speaker 1: Eddie was holding up your picture of your card on
- 33:46Speaker 1: his phone, because I sent him the picture, and I'm
- 33:48Speaker 1: trying to get it exact.
- 33:50Speaker 6: Oh, so the pose is real.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Yes, yes.
- 33:54Speaker 6: Oh, this makes me so mad.
- 33:57Speaker 2: You nailed it, dude.
- 33:58Speaker 6: Holy shit. See, we're turning it into a joke, so
- 34:00Speaker 6: it's making me not hate it as much. But it
- 34:03Speaker 6: is my number one hated card.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Oh, you look at my gnarled hands. For some reason,
- 34:08Speaker 1: your hands are like that.
- 34:09Speaker 6: Because I'm like me.
- 34:10Speaker 1: You got C-grips, bro.
- 34:14Speaker 6: My hands are blurry on the card because they're in motion.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Oh, boy. Wait, which way did you want me to go?
- 34:22Speaker 2: That's what you're saying. Wait, pose which way?
- 34:25Speaker 1: Oh, dude, it was hard to be that awkward.
- 34:29Speaker 6: Check this out. Our good friend, Jeremy Bedour, he gave
- 34:33Speaker 6: a little tip. Some things that you should invest in
- 34:37Speaker 6: and what he believes is going to go up in value.
- 34:39Speaker 6: Take a look at this.
- 34:42Speaker 8: Categories of collecting that I believe will bring large returns
- 34:46Speaker 8: over the next 10 years.
- 34:47Speaker 5: Number one, Harry Potter.
- 34:49Speaker 8: 725 million books sold, and there hasn't been a movie
- 34:52Speaker 8: in 15 years.
- 34:53Speaker 5: There's going to be 10.
- 34:54Speaker 8: Seasons in a row on HBO, and the kids that
- 34:57Speaker 8: loved Harry Potter, the ones that were introduced to it
- 35:00Speaker 8: in the late 1990s through 2015.
- 35:03Speaker 5: Are now grown up.
- 35:05Speaker 8: They're 30, 40 years old, have access to capital, and
- 35:08Speaker 8: I promise you, they're going to start digging deeper. This
- 35:11Speaker 8: is is the second print of Harry Potter and the
- 35:15Speaker 8: Philosopher's Stone. It's in perfect condition. The first print was
- 35:19Speaker 8: limited to 500 books. The second print only has 1,000.
- 35:23Speaker 8: This is maybe 1 20th the price of a first
- 35:27Speaker 8: edition first print. I recommend going after that. I also
- 35:30Speaker 8: recommend book two through seven. If you can get it
- 35:32Speaker 8: first edition first print signed, even better.
- 35:35Speaker 5: Number two, graded vintage toys.
- 35:37Speaker 8: This is a Jaxx 2004 Ultimate Warrior 1 of 100.
- 35:41Speaker 8: I made this one back in the day. We created
- 35:44Speaker 8: Classic Superstars a long time ago. I'm gonna tell you, CAS, AFA,
- 35:50Speaker 8: go grade.
- 35:50Speaker 5: Your vintage toys. You're gonna get a premium. Third, graded vinyl.
- 35:54Speaker 5: AMG and VMG.
- 35:56Speaker 8: Grading vinyl, I'm telling you, spectacular stuff.
- 36:02Speaker 5: Hinged vinyl, two set.
- 36:04Speaker 8: There's an ocean of vinyl out there.
- 36:07Speaker 5: And some of it is extremely rare.
- 36:09Speaker 8: Graded, you start going down that path, you start seeing
- 36:13Speaker 8: premium value.
- 36:14Speaker 5: Four vintage magazines, especially debuts.
- 36:16Speaker 8: This is Mickey Mantle's debut cover from August 1951.
- 36:21Speaker 5: This is a banger. A 1956 Sports Illustrated 9.6 recently sold.
- 36:24Speaker 3: For over $ 300, 000.
- 36:24Speaker 5: And guess what?
- 36:25Speaker 8: I picked this up for less than $ 10, 000.
- 36:31Speaker 5: Personally, I think his rookie means something.
- 36:33Speaker 8: First ever appearance on a magazine is just this little
- 36:37Speaker 8: head in June 1951. Now, I want to keep in mind,
- 36:42Speaker 8: this magazine is his rookie mag, okay, rookie cover. If
- 36:46Speaker 8: this were a 1952 Topps PSA 10, it's a $ 50
- 36:48Speaker 8: million card.
- 36:48Speaker 5: This was less than.
- 36:49Speaker 8: $ 10, 000.
- 36:54Speaker 5: Fifth graded manga. You know how I feel about this.
- 36:56Speaker 8: I think it is gonna be comic book level. But
- 36:59Speaker 8: instead of thinking about maybe the first issue, think about
- 37:01Speaker 8: the second issue.
- 37:02Speaker 5: This is the second issue of Dragon Ball from January 1986.
- 37:05Speaker 8: Let me tell you, this tankoban is probably 1 20th
- 37:09Speaker 8: of the value of issue number one. There's a lot
- 37:13Speaker 8: of opportunity there in terms of that spread. Number six
- 37:15Speaker 8: would be graded scripts. Old vintage scripts.
- 37:19Speaker 5: I would go after them. And a bonus, storyboards and art.
- 37:23Speaker 5: Art of any kind.
- 37:24Speaker 8: I believe that the future, that traditional art collector is
- 37:28Speaker 8: going to blur into pop culture art.
- 37:30Speaker 5: Those valuations are going to skyrocket, in my opinion.
- 37:33Speaker 8: Now let's check back on this in about six or
- 37:35Speaker 8: seven years and see how I'm doing on my 10X
- 37:38Speaker 8: in 10 years strategy.
- 37:41Speaker 6: I'm going to start using access to capital in my
- 37:44Speaker 6: everyday life.
- 37:45Speaker 2: The thing that stuck out the most is like, he's
- 37:49Speaker 2: not just saying people who have money in their wallet.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Access to capital.
- 37:54Speaker 6: Access to capital.
- 37:57Speaker 2: When somebody doesn't bid on your whatnot thing, well, I
- 37:59Speaker 2: guess you just don't have access to capital.
- 38:01Speaker 1: You don't have access to capital, I guess, guys.
- 38:03Speaker 6: When Chelsea wants to go out to a dinner that
- 38:05Speaker 6: I want to go to, I say, sorry, babe, but
- 38:06Speaker 6: I don't have access to capital.
- 38:07Speaker 1: That's a good one.
- 38:11Speaker 3: Man.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Man.
- 38:12Speaker 6: Jeremy's the man. I had a quick phone call to
- 38:15Speaker 6: him two days ago.
- 38:17Speaker 1: A lot of that stuff, if you've been following, he's
- 38:19Speaker 1: been preaching a lot of that stuff for a long time. Yeah.
- 38:21Speaker 6: Yeah. It makes me really want to dabble into the... Obviously,
- 38:25Speaker 6: I've done the graded toys, but the magazines.
- 38:28Speaker 1: I think that's the real one that at least correlates
- 38:30Speaker 1: to wrestling. Yeah. For sure.
- 38:33Speaker 6: It'd be fun if you picked... Even if you were
- 38:35Speaker 6: to pick your five favorite wrestlers, get their rookie mag.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Right.
- 38:39Speaker 7: You know?
- 38:39Speaker 6: Very, very interesting.
- 38:41Speaker 1: What's John Cena's rookie mag? That's a great question. I
- 38:45Speaker 1: have to look it up. This is from Jeremy. Six
- 38:48Speaker 1: areas of collecting that I believe... Have the greatest potential
- 38:51Speaker 1: of 10X in 10 years. My last 10 years have
- 38:54Speaker 1: been on target with Pokemon, graded games and consoles, vintage
- 38:57Speaker 1: sports cards, vintage electronics, comic books, and more. I'll publish
- 39:00Speaker 1: my 2018 article later this week. You can assess for yourself.
- 39:03Speaker 1: The link is here.
- 39:05Speaker 6: The next 10 years, Harry Potter, graded toys, graded vinyl,
- 39:08Speaker 6: graded magazines, graded manga, graded scripts, and pop culture art.
- 39:12Speaker 6: I'm going to do a big post on Harry Potter soon.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Guys, like... I didn't realize that Harry Potter hasn't had
- 39:16Speaker 1: a movie in that long.
- 39:17Speaker 6: Yeah, and he's right.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Like.
- 39:19Speaker 6: it's about to have a whole resurgence.
- 39:23Speaker 2: Especially with the books because this show is supposed to
- 39:28Speaker 2: follow the books more than the, the movies did.
- 39:30Speaker 6: Right, because you have a whole season for a book,
- 39:33Speaker 6: not a movie.
- 39:33Speaker 1: It's a live action show. Yeah.
- 39:35Speaker 6: But also, you gotta take into consideration, guys, like, okay,
- 39:38Speaker 6: when we started this podcast in 2018, wrestling cards were
- 39:43Speaker 6: a fucking afterthought, a joke.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Bro, imagine if that first year of this pod we
- 39:47Speaker 1: just started scooping, we'd be Unreal wealthy in wrestling cards
- 39:52Speaker 1: right now.
- 39:52Speaker 6: Dude.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Buying every Cena rookie we saw somewhere. Buying every Dwayne
- 39:56Speaker 1: rookie we saw somewhere. Buying fucking all-stars everywhere.
- 40:00Speaker 6: David Peck was the laughingstock of the sports card community
- 40:04Speaker 6: for years.
- 40:05Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 40:05Speaker 6: The laughingstock. Who's laughing now?
- 40:07Speaker 1: I know, right? It's crazy.
- 40:08Speaker 6: Who is laughing now?
- 40:10Speaker 1: That's hindsight. I think that, I mean, with cards, it's like,
- 40:12Speaker 1: you can't think like that. Because I'm like, why was
- 40:14Speaker 1: I not buying Otani stuff? Ugh. But then there's the
- 40:17Speaker 1: ones that you did buy and you got absolutely smoked on. Yes.
- 40:22Speaker 6: Guys, if you're listening early, only a few more days
- 40:25Speaker 6: to order the Killer Bees.
- 40:27Speaker 1: That's it.
- 40:28Speaker 6: When it's gone, it's gone. I think these are going
- 40:30Speaker 6: to be very poetic in hand, kind of like the
- 40:32Speaker 6: Rujo brothers. Like, I don't know if I want these guys.
- 40:34Speaker 6: Then you get them.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Sleepers of the year, I think, actually.
- 40:37Speaker 6: I think these are going to be up there as
- 40:38Speaker 6: well with the colorful jackets. Oh, man. Jumping Jim Brunzel, B.
- 40:43Speaker 6: Brian Blair. The Killer Bees. But if you're listening early,
- 40:47Speaker 6: you get the first look of what's coming in October.
- 40:50Speaker 6: You guys ready for it? First up, the Barbarian. Solo
- 40:56Speaker 6: Barbarian coming this October.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Removable crown.
- 41:01Speaker 6: Yes, removable headpiece. Looking jacked. Going to go awesome with
- 41:05Speaker 6: your Warlord, which is on the... Is it on the
- 41:09Speaker 6: water or is it actually here yet? I don't know,
- 41:10Speaker 6: but it's very, very soon.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:13Speaker 1: So.
- 41:13Speaker 6: There is your Barbarian. And it's kind of a weird
- 41:17Speaker 6: month because we're going all over the place. We're going
- 41:20Speaker 6: extreme for the other figure. You saw him debut at
- 41:26Speaker 6: the Big Ass Extreme Bash. Spike Dudley coming to Big
- 41:31Speaker 6: Rubber Guys this October.
- 41:33Speaker 1: And he's like a little scaled down. He's not as
- 41:36Speaker 1: tall as all the other Big Rubber Guys, which is fun.
- 41:38Speaker 6: He's a tiny guy. So you could do the acid drop.
- 41:40Speaker 6: Both versions. Both versions.
- 41:43Speaker 1: With this Spike Dudley figure. Go get him, baby. Check
- 41:46Speaker 1: that out.
- 41:47Speaker 6: All right, guys. You ready for some news?
- 41:50Speaker 2: I got a quick little follow-up. This is a random plug.
- 41:53Speaker 2: You know, our good friend, Max Smashmaster.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay.
- 41:58Speaker 2: I don't know if you guys know this. Well, he's
- 42:00Speaker 2: the FWF Hardcore Champion, right, currently?
- 42:02Speaker 1: He is, yeah.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Yes, the FWF Hardcore Champion. He is, by day, a
- 42:07Speaker 2: food scientist. Are you aware of this?
- 42:10Speaker 3: I don't think I knew that.
- 42:11Speaker 2: What does that even mean? He's like a chef who
- 42:15Speaker 2: develops recipes that could go to mass. Right? Okay. So
- 42:21Speaker 2: he just recently developed a recipe for a protein pudding. Okay?
- 42:28Speaker 6: Like the old school Stallone protein pudding?
- 42:31Speaker 2: So if you have a market basket near you, this
- 42:35Speaker 2: brekkie pudding here. He did this. Protein pudding. 17 grams
- 42:39Speaker 2: of protein in each, and he literally made that.
- 42:45Speaker 1: That's cool. Wow. Wow.
- 42:46Speaker 2: The recipe and all that stuff, the reviews so far
- 42:49Speaker 2: have been great. They sold out in a lot of
- 42:51Speaker 2: Market Baskets already. So if you happen to be near
- 42:55Speaker 2: a Market Basket.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Protein is finally in, like, everything. It's crazy it took
- 42:58Speaker 1: this long.
- 42:59Speaker 2: What's that?
- 43:00Speaker 1: I was grabbing chips for the boys yesterday. There was
- 43:01Speaker 1: protein Doritos.
- 43:03Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 43:03Speaker 6: Guys, it's a marketing play.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Come on. I know. I'd rather that than not, though.
- 43:08Speaker 6: Well, at least the pudding at 17 grams is a
- 43:10Speaker 6: decent amount. The chips have nothing.
- 43:13Speaker 1: I didn't even stop to read it.
- 43:14Speaker 2: 17 grams, and it's a small little thing. Chelsea's eating
- 43:17Speaker 2: protein popcorn.
- 43:18Speaker 6: I'm like, come on, babe.
- 43:18Speaker 1: What are we doing? Oh, I tried that. I was like,
- 43:20Speaker 1: what are we doing here? That is so gross, bro.
- 43:24Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 43:25Speaker 2: Well, not this. This has a great mouthfeel.
- 43:28Speaker 8: I hear.
- 43:28Speaker 1: It tasted like Fuzzy, the protein popcorn.
- 43:30Speaker 6: I can't wait to try it because I remember the
- 43:32Speaker 6: Stallone protein pudding from back in the day.
- 43:34Speaker 1: I love that.
- 43:35Speaker 6: You ever have that?
- 43:35Speaker 1: The Stallone protein pudding? I feel like you gave it
- 43:37Speaker 1: to me like a developmental.
- 43:39Speaker 6: Oh, so good. I was eating it when it was
- 43:41Speaker 6: expired because they stopped making it.
- 43:42Speaker 2: I stocked up.
- 43:43Speaker 4: All right.
- 43:45Speaker 6: I stocked up.
- 43:45Speaker 2: We'll see.
- 43:46Speaker 5: All right.
- 43:47Speaker 6: Let's go to the news.
- 43:48Speaker 1: Brought to you by GarageBand. Majoristic Figure Podcast has a
- 43:57Speaker 1: new tag team party, Garage Beer.
- 44:00Speaker 6: Scratch that figure-age and scratch that beer-age with Garage Beer.
- 44:04Speaker 1: Every tag team needs a name.
- 44:06Speaker 6: And here it is, Major Garage Beer.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Garage Beer is light, refreshing, and made with the highest
- 44:12Speaker 1: quality ingredients.
- 44:14Speaker 6: You can choose between the light beer or my favorite,
- 44:17Speaker 6: the lime beer.
- 44:18Speaker 2: And with only 95 calories, it's the smart beer to drink.
- 44:22Speaker 6: I'm Brian Myers, the most professional drinker.
- 44:25Speaker 2: I'm Smart Mark Sterling, and I love beer-flavored beer.
- 44:28Speaker 6: And I'm always ready, Matt Cardona. And the Major Garage
- 44:33Speaker 6: is always open.
- 44:40Speaker 2: Last time we partnered with Garage Beer, things got a
- 44:43Speaker 2: little out of hand. But this time, We're doing things
- 44:49Speaker 2: more professionally.
- 44:57Speaker 1: More class.
- 44:58Speaker 6: Guys, guys, why can't we enjoy both?
- 45:00Speaker 2: More polished.
- 45:01Speaker 4: Good idea.
- 45:04Speaker 2: It's a crisp, refreshing partnership. Built on integrity and teamwork.
- 45:17Speaker 2: And focus.
- 45:27Speaker 6: Garage beer. My brother and his wife are in town.
- 45:31Speaker 6: They're cracking up with the garage beers. It's football season.
- 45:34Speaker 6: It's always pro wrestling season.
- 45:36Speaker 1: J-B-T-S.
- 45:36Speaker 6: Jets, Jets, Jets.
- 45:37Speaker 1: About to be kickoff here, boys. Let's go. I'm going
- 45:39Speaker 1: to smash some garage beers and watch my Jets. Drink
- 45:42Speaker 1: some major garage beers.
- 45:44Speaker 6: And guys, it would really help us out. If you
- 45:46Speaker 6: use the hashtag MajorGarageBeer, just post the can next to
- 45:49Speaker 6: some figs. We're really trying to build this partnership up.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Pose your rockabilly next to the garage beer.
- 45:54Speaker 6: Do something, just like the winner this week, but use
- 45:57Speaker 6: the hashtag MajorGarageBeer. If we choose your picture or video,
- 46:00Speaker 6: you will win a prize. Guys, all you have to
- 46:02Speaker 6: do is make a social media post. You could win
- 46:04Speaker 6: a prize. What are we doing here?
- 46:06Speaker 1: That's cool. Let's go. Space was cool.
- 46:09Speaker 6: Yeah, look at this.
- 46:10Speaker 2: Mark called Dylan, DylanTheMark92. First time trying a garage beer.
- 46:14Speaker 2: Won't be the last. Okay, it took him a long time,
- 46:17Speaker 2: but he's got a couple.
- 46:19Speaker 8: See?
- 46:19Speaker 1: Love it.
- 46:20Speaker 6: That's a perfect easy post.
- 46:22Speaker 1: Perfect.
- 46:23Speaker 6: A nice wrestling figure.
- 46:24Speaker 1: Thank you, Dylan Postle.
- 46:24Speaker 6: Nice garage beer.
- 46:25Speaker 2: That was not Dylan Postle. You did not put that
- 46:30Speaker 2: on him.
- 46:30Speaker 1: Oh, boy.
- 46:31Speaker 6: All right, guys. SRG Universe, a brand behind my back, Brian.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Sorry, pal. A little collab with Creator Pro Wrestling here, guys.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Pretty excited. This is Bobby Orlando versus Leo Sparrow set.
- 46:46Speaker 1: I don't know how much stuff he has here. There's
- 46:48Speaker 1: also Matt Castle and Gabby Forza. There's the belts are
- 46:52Speaker 1: being represented. A complete cross-branded creative thing. Very cool. Very honored.
- 46:58Speaker 1: I think our fans are going to love it. Commissioner
- 47:00Speaker 1: Myers is in the house.
- 47:02Speaker 6: First of all, that's why you did it, you mark.
- 47:04Speaker 6: I know what you're doing here.
- 47:04Speaker 1: You got to get the biggest star in there, right?
- 47:07Speaker 1: What am I supposed to do? Unreal.
- 47:09Speaker 6: I love SRG. Look at the shooter boys.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Oh, that's so cool. Double teaming folks.
- 47:15Speaker 6: We have the major pod one that I believe they're
- 47:18Speaker 6: still available. I played this game. I went to one
- 47:21Speaker 6: of their conventions, and I was blown away by how
- 47:23Speaker 6: fun this game is, how easy this game is.
- 47:26Speaker 1: I'm so bad with games, I have to sit down
- 47:28Speaker 1: with my kids and figure this out, because they even
- 47:30Speaker 1: asked me about it the other day.
- 47:31Speaker 6: It's complicated. You need a big space, a big map.
- 47:35Speaker 1: I'm just not good with directions.
- 47:37Speaker 6: But even if you don't like the game, the cards
- 47:39Speaker 6: are awesome.
- 47:40Speaker 1: Right, of course.
- 47:41Speaker 6: So check that out, SRG Universe.com. Really, really cool. Title
- 47:46Speaker 6: Run Toys showing off their run-in series. Check this out.
- 47:52Speaker 1: Lodi. I love it. First time with a fig.
- 47:54Speaker 6: In stock.
- 47:55Speaker 1: It's cool, man. Congrats.
- 47:56Speaker 2: Had to have a sign, too.
- 47:58Speaker 1: Yeah, you can't not have a sign, so that's perfect.
- 48:01Speaker 1: I'm hoping that's made of, like, plastic, too, or something.
- 48:04Speaker 6: I really love these deep cuts from DRT. I know, like,
- 48:08Speaker 6: their Nikita Koloff's are shipping soon. The Agent Adonis.
- 48:12Speaker 3: Shipping soon.
- 48:12Speaker 6: I think I will be getting one of those. I'm
- 48:15Speaker 6: not quite sure I'll be getting the Lodi.
- 48:17Speaker 2: Looks awesome.
- 48:18Speaker 6: Just doesn't quite fit my rules.
- 48:23Speaker 1: Lodi's around to sign that and stuff, so that's cool. Yeah.
- 48:26Speaker 6: I mean, I love that after all these years. Imagine thinking, ah, fuck.
- 48:30Speaker 6: I'm just never going to get a figure. And now
- 48:33Speaker 6: because of all these independent companies, people are getting them
- 48:36Speaker 6: for the first time.
- 48:37Speaker 8: Yep.
- 48:38Speaker 6: That's why I'm going to, Brian, I'm going to put
- 48:39Speaker 6: you on the spot. I think we got to do
- 48:41Speaker 6: a little Big Sweet William.
- 48:43Speaker 1: Big Sweet William what?
- 48:45Speaker 6: BRG.
- 48:45Speaker 1: I don't know, man.
- 48:49Speaker 6: I think it's worth it.
- 48:50Speaker 1: 500. I don't know.
- 48:52Speaker 6: I think we got to do it.
- 48:53Speaker 1: I think he would be a great TRT guy because
- 48:56Speaker 1: he's making all these WCW deep cuts. That's also true.
- 48:58Speaker 1: That's also true. What about this?
- 49:01Speaker 6: My Phantom Collectibles Indie Star. Speaking of Deep South Wrestling.
- 49:04Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 49:05Speaker 6: Angelina Love.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Very cool. The guy with her husband, Fodder, we saw.
- 49:10Speaker 6: Psycho Boy Fodder is also coming as well to my
- 49:14Speaker 6: fandom collectibles my fandom collectibles these retro style figures more
- 49:17Speaker 6: so for independent talents to sell their shows i i
- 49:20Speaker 6: think this is great great idea however show me a
- 49:25Speaker 6: fucking produced.
- 49:26Speaker 1: In a long time sheriff come on just put something
- 49:28Speaker 1: in the hand and then we can put something.
- 49:31Speaker 2: In the hand Kevin Matthews gets like shoot hot at
- 49:34Speaker 2: me every time he sees me. Yo, you know when
- 49:36Speaker 2: this figure's coming out? I'm like, how would I know?
- 49:40Speaker 1: Like you have something to do with it.
- 49:42Speaker 6: Oh, man. What about this? More retros, guys. FC Toys.
- 49:47Speaker 2: Bang, bang.
- 49:48Speaker 6: Cactus Jack. Pre-order now. I feel like I got to
- 49:53Speaker 6: get this. I feel like this is a must for me.
- 49:55Speaker 6: I feel like I don't know what my rules are yet.
- 49:58Speaker 6: I haven't made them yet, but I feel like Attitude
- 50:00Speaker 6: Era counts.
- 50:02Speaker 1: Well, I mean, if you collected all the, you know,
- 50:06Speaker 1: WWE retro stuff, it's right there, you know?
- 50:10Speaker 6: Well, so when I set up my toy room, when
- 50:12Speaker 6: it's complete, I will have the Hasbros in one area.
- 50:14Speaker 1: Right.
- 50:15Speaker 6: Tell retros in one area. Those live in different universe.
- 50:18Speaker 6: And then, like, the independent retro is another area. Right.
- 50:21Speaker 6: That's when I have to get down to the nitty
- 50:22Speaker 6: gritty and make some rules. But I think either way,
- 50:25Speaker 6: this cactus will fit in. There's also a bloody variant
- 50:28Speaker 6: with a nice, nice package.
- 50:30Speaker 1: That's cool.
- 50:31Speaker 6: I think I'm just going to get the regular one,
- 50:34Speaker 6: but awesome.
- 50:36Speaker 1: I do dig the blood.
- 50:37Speaker 6: Listen, blood always is fun on a figure.
- 50:40Speaker 2: I decided that if there's a bloody and a non-bloody,
- 50:45Speaker 2: that I would always keep the bloody. Wow, that's fair.
- 50:47Speaker 1: You're a violent man, Mark.
- 50:49Speaker 2: I definitely did that with the bendys.
- 50:51Speaker 6: I did that for the ringside Tommy Dreamer. I just
- 50:54Speaker 6: kept the bloody.
- 50:54Speaker 4: Oh, wow.
- 50:55Speaker 1: Same. Well, I don't know. I think, obviously, you've got
- 50:58Speaker 1: to go like, if it goes by the guy, I
- 51:00Speaker 1: think Tommy, you picture Tommy all gigged up. Right. It goes,
- 51:03Speaker 1: I actually don't really picture cactus gigged up and we've
- 51:05Speaker 1: made a bloody cactus. So it's ironic, but like, I
- 51:10Speaker 1: don't know. Not always.
- 51:11Speaker 6: I see what you're saying.
- 51:12Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, I think of more dangerous bumps than being bloody,
- 51:16Speaker 1: but right. But our figure is from a specific, right.
- 51:19Speaker 1: That actually is blood. Yes. Yeah.
- 51:21Speaker 6: And what people don't necessarily realize is that like both
- 51:25Speaker 6: of those figures, like the same match, Right.
- 51:29Speaker 1: He takes his shirt off and has another shirt.
- 51:31Speaker 3: Right.
- 51:32Speaker 4: Right.
- 51:32Speaker 1: There you go.
- 51:33Speaker 6: Zombie Sailor showing off the Brooklyn Brawler. I like this
- 51:40Speaker 6: a lot. I think it's a little too petite.
- 51:43Speaker 1: I saw it first and it's very tiny. I also
- 51:45Speaker 1: do not love, it's hard to see there, but the
- 51:48Speaker 1: slices in the shirt look very cheesy. Okay. It is
- 51:54Speaker 1: what it is. I mean, Brawler fits the wheelhouse. I'll
- 51:56Speaker 1: be getting it. It'll be in my collection, but.
- 51:59Speaker 2: Yeah, he should have like a belly-ish, right?
- 52:02Speaker 6: Now, Mitch made a brawler, correct?
- 52:05Speaker 1: Yeah. Mitch makes so much stuff that I get lost,
- 52:08Speaker 1: but yeah.
- 52:09Speaker 6: I will be getting this.
- 52:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll be getting it. It'll go right on my
- 52:13Speaker 1: heels and face the show. It fits the wheelhouse of Hasbro.
- 52:16Speaker 1: Just a little teeny. And yeah, if you make the
- 52:20Speaker 1: full screen or you look at this, like the The
- 52:22Speaker 1: slices on the shirt are a little cheesy for zombie standards.
- 52:25Speaker 1: I guess that's probably what I should say. I'm holding
- 52:27Speaker 1: him to such a high standard. Are you saying they're
- 52:29Speaker 1: painted and not molded? They're painted and look a little lame.
- 52:32Speaker 1: Got it. Okay, I see what you're saying. I mean,
- 52:35Speaker 1: it's very hard to do, but it's not the correct
- 52:37Speaker 1: color of the rest of the skin. It's very tough
- 52:40Speaker 1: to do.
- 52:41Speaker 6: I hear you. We're wrestling tees, guys. You might know
- 52:45Speaker 6: Chris VanVleet, but do you know Chris Sharp?
- 52:48Speaker 1: I'm thinking, God damn, VanVleet's brawler sold so well that he...
- 52:51Speaker 1: reordered into this I love it good for.
- 52:53Speaker 6: Him Chris Sharp I guess was his backyard gimmick his
- 52:57Speaker 6: e-gimmick I'm like oh look at that yeah dyed.
- 52:59Speaker 1: Tips chase variant is unbelievable wow.
- 53:03Speaker 6: I will say this guys I love Chris VanVleet I
- 53:06Speaker 6: respect what he's done in the business but one thing
- 53:10Speaker 6: I will say uh oh I didn't publicly call him
- 53:13Speaker 6: out but privately I tried to get Indie God Matt
- 53:17Speaker 6: Cardona versus Chris VanVleet I thought that would have done
- 53:19Speaker 6: big numbers I do I agree And he did not
- 53:22Speaker 6: want to do it.
- 53:23Speaker 1: Has he ever had a real match?
- 53:26Speaker 6: Well, I mean, he comes in and does like.
- 53:28Speaker 1: I know he does run-ins and does rock bottoms and stuff,
- 53:31Speaker 1: but like.
- 53:32Speaker 6: I just thought there was big.
- 53:33Speaker 1: Money behind it. I completely agree with you.
- 53:36Speaker 6: So, never say never. But I think.
- 53:41Speaker 1: Maybe he's holding out for Chris Sharper's Undertaker.
- 53:45Speaker 6: He's probably hoping for a Pat McAfee WrestleMania role. Who's
- 53:52Speaker 6: to say he couldn't get it? He doesn't want to
- 53:54Speaker 6: waste it on the Indie God Macro Donut like House
- 53:56Speaker 6: of Glory or GCW. I was telling Richard Holliday, you're
- 54:00Speaker 6: the guy now. You've got to be doing.
- 54:04Speaker 1: All this stuff.
- 54:04Speaker 6: You've got to somehow get Chris Van Vliet out.
- 54:07Speaker 1: Right.
- 54:08Speaker 6: This was interesting. Boss Fight Studio, Legends, Lucha Libre, Vampiro.
- 54:14Speaker 6: Someone's got to explain this to me.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Do you mind if I explain this? Because there was
- 54:17Speaker 1: the one that looked very similar to this that sold
- 54:20Speaker 1: out immediately, and it's very rare. But I don't know
- 54:23Speaker 1: what this is representing.
- 54:26Speaker 3: This is a new version of that. Of that figure, right?
- 54:29Speaker 7: Yes.
- 54:29Speaker 1: I think that.
- 54:31Speaker 3: This one actually has an unpainted portrait. I can't remember
- 54:35Speaker 3: if the other one did, but the deco is different
- 54:36Speaker 3: this time around.
- 54:37Speaker 1: The other one that comes in that coffin packaging is
- 54:41Speaker 1: very rare and very expensive.
- 54:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I forget how many pieces that was limited to,
- 54:47Speaker 3: but that was, I believe, a convention-exclusive, Comic-Con-exclusive. Not officially,
- 54:51Speaker 3: but it's sold at Comic-Con.
- 54:53Speaker 1: Yeah, it's $ 1.
- 54:54Speaker 8: 50.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Buy it now on eBay right now, that one.
- 54:56Speaker 3: This one has a different shirt. This is on the
- 54:58Speaker 3: Fanatico's body.
- 54:58Speaker 2: $ 2.
- 54:58Speaker 1: 50, buy it now. I mean, it's tough.
- 55:01Speaker 3: This isn't technically premium, like in terms of the articulation.
- 55:04Speaker 3: So it's similar to that of a Mattel basic figure,
- 55:08Speaker 3: but it does have ankle articulation. I think it does have,
- 55:13Speaker 3: I think that's really the only difference.
- 55:14Speaker 1: It looks great.
- 55:15Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 55:15Speaker 3: Yeah, the decorations are great. I mean, and the packaging
- 55:18Speaker 3: as well. A different packaging structure. It's got like the
- 55:20Speaker 3: X popping out. So it's like a fifth panel window box,
- 55:23Speaker 3: similar to what you see on a NECA figure. So
- 55:26Speaker 3: very collector style packaging. And as well, a picture on
- 55:29Speaker 3: the back.
- 55:29Speaker 1: That makes great stuff.
- 55:31Speaker 6: The packaging looks so cool.
- 55:33Speaker 3: But I'm sure it must be pretty limited because it
- 55:35Speaker 3: is $ 50 for it. So it is probably maybe their
- 55:39Speaker 3: lowest run figure, at least at this time, because I
- 55:42Speaker 3: think that's probably the most expensive Boss Fight Studio Legends
- 55:46Speaker 3: of Lucha Libre release that they've done so far.
- 55:47Speaker 1: Cool.
- 55:50Speaker 6: Yeah. Brian, what about a Vampiro Big Rubber Guy?
- 55:52Speaker 1: That, now we're talking.
- 55:55Speaker 6: Add that to the list. Add that to the list. Okay.
- 55:59Speaker 1: Okay.
- 56:00Speaker 6: Next up, bro, D, you're going to have to talk
- 56:02Speaker 6: about these. These Street Fighter figs? I think we've got
- 56:05Speaker 6: to count them. We've got some wrestlers in there.
- 56:07Speaker 1: What?
- 56:09Speaker 3: These are mystery packs. Mystery pack blind box figures. I
- 56:13Speaker 3: think these, they've applied this form factor to kind of
- 56:17Speaker 3: like how Mattel did Rumblers. They had Action League. I
- 56:20Speaker 3: think they had some Toy Story ones that they also
- 56:22Speaker 3: did as well.
- 56:23Speaker 1: Why are we covering this?
- 56:24Speaker 3: Because it's the American Nightmare. Cody Rhodes as Guile and
- 56:28Speaker 3: Joe in Hawaii.
- 56:29Speaker 1: This is movie Street Fighter.
- 56:31Speaker 3: Yes, Street Fighter the movie. And this is, I believe,
- 56:34Speaker 3: hitting at least West Coast. I believe it's appearing first.
- 56:38Speaker 3: The Mystery Warriors blind box Street Fighter figures at Walmart.
- 56:41Speaker 3: I think these are only at Walmart possibly at this time.
- 56:44Speaker 3: But there are 12 to collect at the moment. But
- 56:47Speaker 3: there is a 13th one. And that 13th one is
- 56:50Speaker 3: a Chase.
- 56:50Speaker 1: Roman is a Kuma? Yes. Cool.
- 56:54Speaker 6: I can't wait to see this. Uh, fanatics, more retro shirts.
- 56:58Speaker 6: I guys, I believe that the Zach Rado retro start
- 57:01Speaker 6: shirt started the trend.
- 57:02Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 57:03Speaker 6: Here's a little dashing. Oh, no, sorry. That dashing Cody
- 57:06Speaker 6: Rose last week. This is CM Punk.
- 57:07Speaker 1: Straight Edge Society.
- 57:08Speaker 6: Straight Edge Society as well.
- 57:09Speaker 3: They label it as Straight Edge Society, but technically this
- 57:12Speaker 3: was worn during the Jeff Hardy feud. So he debuted
- 57:14Speaker 3: this in August of 2009. Yeah, August of 2009. But
- 57:18Speaker 3: largely when you see it in that archival footage. Yeah,
- 57:22Speaker 3: in that archival footage. He didn't get, I think, the
- 57:25Speaker 3: technically Straight Edge Society shirt. I think he... i associate
- 57:29Speaker 3: it largely with i think i think he got it
- 57:31Speaker 3: probably in like february or so of uh 2010 but
- 57:34Speaker 3: i largely think of it like like.
- 57:35Speaker 1: I i can't stress enough just even seeing this like
- 57:39Speaker 1: the way that shirts have changed in wrestling like you
- 57:43Speaker 1: you can associate this with a run like no shirts
- 57:45Speaker 1: now and any company in wrestling can you do that
- 57:49Speaker 1: because it's just too much too much too many designs
- 57:52Speaker 1: too many options like it's kind of unfortunate i think
- 57:54Speaker 1: yeah a lot of a lot of characters a lot
- 57:56Speaker 1: i feel like less is more and you gotta try
- 57:59Speaker 1: you know.
- 58:00Speaker 3: There was like a new shirt every three to four
- 58:01Speaker 3: months for.
- 58:02Speaker 1: But i also feel like the toothpaste is out of
- 58:04Speaker 1: the the gimmick and you can't get it back in
- 58:06Speaker 1: so i don't know what the solve is.
- 58:08Speaker 3: Hulk hogan wasn't wearing 15 different shirts right a given month.
- 58:11Speaker 1: But he like this feels like this wasn't that long
- 58:13Speaker 1: ago it's like wow oh right away i said no
- 58:16Speaker 1: the straighter society run shirt because he wore it every week.
- 58:19Speaker 6: And i know it's different too because like you know
- 58:21Speaker 6: Imagine if Austin came out now. There wouldn't be just
- 58:25Speaker 6: one Austin 316 shirt. There'd be so many. Like a
- 58:27Speaker 6: Jey Uso Yeet. There was a Yeet shirt. I couldn't
- 58:31Speaker 6: even tell you. Yeah, there's not. There's so many of them.
- 58:34Speaker 1: Too much stuff.
- 58:35Speaker 6: But the dollar's got to make sense. And you know
- 58:37Speaker 6: it makes sense to make more product.
- 58:39Speaker 1: I guess.
- 58:40Speaker 6: Because I think, you know, while we might not recognize
- 58:43Speaker 6: a Jey Uso Yeet shirt.
- 58:44Speaker 1: I'm just saying in the long run.
- 58:45Speaker 6: Sales were great.
- 58:46Speaker 1: They're not going to live forever. And in 15 years
- 58:48Speaker 1: from now. Is there going to be a Yeet shirt
- 58:50Speaker 1: you put out? Remember the Yeet shirt? It's not going
- 58:53Speaker 1: to have the same significance that this has as well.
- 58:55Speaker 6: I agree. I agree 100%. But the mask.
- 58:59Speaker 1: They've never offered this, right?
- 59:01Speaker 6: And you know Mattel's working on the figure.
- 59:04Speaker 1: It's cool.
- 59:04Speaker 6: You know they're going to do it. Because he wrestled
- 59:06Speaker 6: in this, correct?
- 59:07Speaker 3: No, it was a different mask.
- 59:08Speaker 1: It was completely different last night.
- 59:09Speaker 6: Yeah. Oh, okay.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Yeah, he wore like a brand new thing.
- 59:12Speaker 3: But this is technically version two of the mask initially.
- 59:14Speaker 3: So this was like the revised one with the white
- 59:16Speaker 3: that pops.
- 59:16Speaker 1: Out more for TV. Because I think he had like
- 59:19Speaker 1: a very rushed one they made. Yeah.
- 59:22Speaker 3: That was probably like not even a two-day notice probably.
- 59:25Speaker 1: Right. I love it.
- 59:27Speaker 6: And then speaking of masks, we got the American Nightmare
- 59:29Speaker 6: Cody Rhodes. And he's not going to give me credit,
- 59:30Speaker 6: but I pitched this to him like years ago. So
- 59:34Speaker 6: there it is, the Cody Rhodes mask.
- 59:36Speaker 1: That's just like a kid's replica mask, right? Yep.
- 59:38Speaker 6: Always nice to have a little mask at the merch stand.
- 59:41Speaker 6: You know?
- 59:42Speaker 1: It's awesome.
- 59:43Speaker 6: Big Shot Pillows. We got some AAA Big Shots coming.
- 59:48Speaker 6: We got Psycho Clown. We got La Parca. Mr. Iguana.

- 1:06:07Speaker 2: team division.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: I feel like that's a great shout out that we
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: don't even really pat ourselves on the back about. Look
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: at those tag teams we provided.
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: LOD, Demolition, Powers of Pain, British Bulldogs, Islanders, Rougeau Brothers.
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: And I love how the LJN Mr. Fuji, Heenan, they're
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: in there seamlessly.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: It's pretty fun.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: And, like, you know, you've got some top guys. Obviously,
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: people will carry the belts. And you've got some guys
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: that could lose. You know?
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: You could do Andre and Haku.
- 1:06:34Speaker 6: Young Stallions coming, like, on the water.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: Yep.
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: You've got Cardona and Myers, major players. Wow.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Just insert us in a time machine.
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: A couple great teams there.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Do some jobs.
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: All right. What did you guys get? Slow week for me.
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: I got two packages today. If I didn't get them today,
- 1:06:54Speaker 6: it would have been really, really slow.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: Wow. I would love to start off with my new
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: favorite action figure sitting here on my desk. Holy smokes.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: The first ever Rockabilly Mattel figure. Did I say this
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: last week or did I just say this to you
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: in private? That set wasn't very enticing to me. Like,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: I got Brett, which was a must. Jorts, Brett. You know,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: Shawn Michaels super kicking him in the wheelchair. One of
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: my favorite things ever. I had to have that.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: Yeah, you told us this yesterday. I mean, last year.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: Like, Fanny Pack Goldberg. Not necessary. Of course.
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: No, no, no, no.
- 1:07:35Speaker 6: I always buy them all just to build a figure.
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: Are you saying that you didn't buy and then you
- 1:07:38Speaker 6: bought this separately?
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: It was on eBay. 60 bucks by now, and I
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: was doing the math. That's two of them I would
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: have spent. I would have bought three figures I didn't need. True. True. True.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: It was a no-brainer.
- 1:07:49Speaker 6: I was like, I got it. So the first time ever,
- 1:07:51Speaker 6: I just bought the figure outright. I wouldn't have done
- 1:07:53Speaker 6: that because I don't want someone's hands touching it. It's
- 1:07:56Speaker 6: been out for a... It's like you can't... I can't
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: be like, oh, a kid played with this. It's been
- 1:08:00Speaker 6: out for a freaking... What if like Hornswoggle, you know
- 1:08:02Speaker 6: who doesn't wash his hands properly, opened it up?
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: You're right. There's a chance, but this thing was like...
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: It's crispy crisp. No Lysol wipe, nothing? No, no. Dude,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: it's only been in... The potential of this being in
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: someone's hands has been days, right? Okay. No way. So
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: it came with the hands. It was everything. So thrilled
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: to have it. I immediately sent a picture of the
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: Billy gun. I said, this is my new favorite figure.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: And he goes, I can't even believe that's a real thing.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Cause I know he hated this run so much, but
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: I think it's a fun little thing. I also opened
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: up the floodgates of if me and VSK had a
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: spirited conversation, if he was new gen or attitude error. Okay.
- 1:08:41Speaker 6: This is what I said in the chat with you guys,
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: but no one responded. I said, if it's red ropes,
- 1:08:46Speaker 6: it's not new gen.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: But when was that?
- 1:08:49Speaker 6: That's after. It's Red Ropes, then Rockabilly.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: So in my, it's like everyone sets their own rules.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: And I can't even remember what Vinny's rules were. I
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: thought Vinny's rules were actually kind of whack. But. to me,
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: New Gen dies at WrestleMania 13 during the double switch.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: That's very fair. That's my rule. But everyone's rules are different.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: And then he, I didn't realize, this gimmick's like two
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: weeks later. Yeah, I think once we have the Titantron gimmick,
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: That's not new gen. Right, right, right. Titantron for sure.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: But what's that, February?
- 1:09:21Speaker 6: I don't know the exact timeline.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: I think that's like February 97.
- 1:09:25Speaker 6: Red Robes, Titantron, in my opinion, that's attitude. Some people
- 1:09:28Speaker 6: say it with the Vince promo. Yeah, some people say
- 1:09:31Speaker 6: it with Vince, but that's like fall 97, right?
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: Yeah, so I think that's what I said. I think
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: in my mind, 1997 is like a cross year. meaning
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: it's my favorite year. It's like me too, but it's
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: in my mind, it's the prequel to the attitude era.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: Like you can't have the attitude era without 1997, but
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: it's not quite there yet.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: It's like, but if you had a collection of attitude
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: era stuff or new gen stuff, there's going to be,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: you know.
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: Yeah, but if you overlap, that's what I said, figure
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: out if you only have a new gen collection, I
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: think you can put rockabilly in it.
- 1:10:07Speaker 6: Fine. I don't think so.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: I thought, and I was trying to bully Vinny into it.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: And the more I did research and what I thought,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: I go, no, I'm wrong.
- 1:10:14Speaker 6: Red Ropes ain't new gen, pal.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Yeah, no way.
- 1:10:17Speaker 6: That's like, that would have been the raw war ring.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: The character has the spirit of the new gen because
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: it was like something that slipped through the cracks.
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying, that 97 is still like.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Also, you can make up your own rules and justify
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: anything here. Yes, right. To me, no. And the other thing, Bruce,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: you said that really sparked that we don't talk about enough.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: That off the mat pack Billy Gunn had that they
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: only used that one time. was definitely going to be
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: like a rockabilly or something.
- 1:10:44Speaker 6: I always thought, and I have no concrete proof at all,
- 1:10:47Speaker 6: is that it was going to be like rockabilly and
- 1:10:50Speaker 6: hockey talk band. And then the gimmick dies. They put
- 1:10:55Speaker 6: hockey on his own, which kind of doesn't quite make
- 1:10:57Speaker 6: sense in that ringside collection.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: He was a shotgun commentator at that point, right? He
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: was like toast.
- 1:11:02Speaker 6: And then they used that billy head off the mat.
- 1:11:05Speaker 6: I could be totally wrong.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: That said, very fun, and I'm glad to have this
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: in my collection. He's certainly not a fronter, but a
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: fun piece to have, and I can't believe I have
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: to put him in the attitude section for sure.
- 1:11:20Speaker 6: That really makes me want a roadie.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: A real double J.
- 1:11:28Speaker 6: Or even real double J.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: I'd want real double J, because that was a gimmick
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: change in a thing instead of, Rhodey, you can do both, actually.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: But just technically, we don't have a Jeff, and there's
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: no Jeff in sight, so that's kind of depressing.
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: That's why the real Double J would be better, I guess.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I think for it, because the real Double J
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: will go with this, and then you have pre-Outlaw Outlaws,
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: which is fun. Yeah.
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: But cool. I'm glad that they got made. What? Do
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: we know what's next? Oh, is it Dan Housen? Monday
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: Night War, build a figure?
- 1:12:01Speaker 6: That might be next. I don't know the exact lineup
- 1:12:03Speaker 6: right now.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: Wait, it was Goldberg? Who else did I not? Oh,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: that regal with the singlet. I thought it was cool,
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: but I'm going to keep the old. The old one
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: with the robe is like, I don't know, man. Cloth
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: singlets really. But I do appreciate it's a two-in-one. Sure,
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: it just creeps me out. But then the boots I
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: don't think are accurate.
- 1:12:22Speaker 6: Well, yeah.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: So it's a no-win one. It's nothing.
- 1:12:27Speaker 6: Got it.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: It's a creepy cloth singlet figure or an accurate figure.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: I'm like, ugh. So no thank you on that, too.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: So yeah, I saved myself some money with this. All right,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: something I got. I got 50 of these, actually.
- 1:12:38Speaker 6: The new Chelsea green, red, white, and blue hat. I
- 1:12:43Speaker 6: ordered these a couple months ago, I guess before SummerSlam.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:12:46Speaker 6: And they were a pre-order, which I didn't realize.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Wow, costly. I mean, they're probably, you know, real deal, like,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: made in China, like, product. You know what I mean? Yeah.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: It's not like.
- 1:12:56Speaker 6: So, I got this. I think Chelsea said she's working
- 1:12:59Speaker 6: on a new one.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: So, she's had the Gold one behind you and that
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: one now?
- 1:13:05Speaker 6: So actually, the gold that's behind me is the prototype,
- 1:13:07Speaker 6: which is more like the hat she really, really wears.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:13:10Speaker 6: And if they were to replicate that, the hat would
- 1:13:12Speaker 6: be $ 150. Right. So they've dumbed it down.
- 1:13:15Speaker 7: Oh.
- 1:13:16Speaker 6: So she's had a gold. They did make a gold,
- 1:13:18Speaker 6: but it's a dumbed down, red, white, and blue. And
- 1:13:20Speaker 6: I think she wants to get a pink one next.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: Interesting. That's probably the one Mark's going to get.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: Yeah. For sure. I got a, I got a new
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: case coming in for it too.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Oh, so even better.
- 1:13:34Speaker 6: Mark, you get anything or you still collect?
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: Nothing this week.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: No.
- 1:13:37Speaker 6: Nothing?
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: Well, I did get some stuff, but I, I'm not
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: going to talk about it on the podcast.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: You, you could, you guys could not give two fucks
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: about this.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: Oh, is it like Lords of Warcraft or what? Is
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: that what it is?
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: Yes, exactly. Lords of Warcraft.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: I got you.
- 1:13:56Speaker 6: Brian, anything?
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Uh, Chelsea just texted me that, can you come downstairs?
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: Your dog is violently vomiting. She texted me that?
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: Yeah. No, she texted Brian because you're not answering it.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: You're not paying attention.
- 1:14:08Speaker 6: Oh, I still have more stuff, but.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:14:11Speaker 6: I think he could wait.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: If you say so.
- 1:14:14Speaker 6: I think he could wait.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: All right. Maybe she'll text me again if you want
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: to keep going.
- 1:14:17Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:14:18Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: I hate when that happens.
- 1:14:20Speaker 6: I got some things, guys. I had to do it
- 1:14:21Speaker 6: even though I didn't want to buy it.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: I got the latest. Oh, yeah. Whoa, what's that? 25? 25?
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: This is a 25.
- 1:14:29Speaker 6: 25 out of 25. This is the universe, Matt Cardona.
- 1:14:33Speaker 6: We've talked about it, and I think we're going to
- 1:14:35Speaker 6: talk about it later in the show. My least favorite
- 1:14:39Speaker 6: card of all time, I think, just because of the photo.
- 1:14:42Speaker 6: It's like in between photos. The top screw job. The
- 1:14:44Speaker 6: top screw job. Listen, I love you, tops. Maybe this
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: was a misunderstanding, an error.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: Maybe they thought you were just a really happy character,
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: and they thought that represented you.
- 1:14:57Speaker 6: I don't know what else. But it pains me that
- 1:14:59Speaker 6: I have to collect these all.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: Well, now they've become like a famous thing.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: I feel like our fans are enjoying it.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: The funny part is that's probably one of your most
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: well-known cards in years.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Right. Well, that's why it hurts so much. It's that
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: it is my first... Packed pulled card. You got Mark
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: Long Sterling here with this one.
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: I was just going to say that.
- 1:15:19Speaker 6: I do have the tops now. I had the national.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: Yeah, but this is a packed pulled.
- 1:15:24Speaker 6: Right, it's a packed pulled.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: You return to the product, yeah.
- 1:15:27Speaker 6: Right, and it's, ugh. Anything else for you, Brian, or
- 1:15:30Speaker 6: should I keep going?
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: I only have one more thing.
- 1:15:33Speaker 6: Okay, so I got a couple more things. Another card
- 1:15:35Speaker 6: I got. I don't even know why I'm doing this.
- 1:15:40Speaker 6: I'm not like a card guy, even though I am
- 1:15:41Speaker 6: a card guy. And like we talked about earlier, I've
- 1:15:45Speaker 6: been putting my PSA graded cards into the app to
- 1:15:47Speaker 6: see what they're worth. But I needed to get this card.
- 1:15:51Speaker 6: It's a rookie card.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: Oh, man. Here we go.
- 1:15:54Speaker 6: Of the animal.
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: Oh, that's a cool one. Batista.
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: That is an awesome rookie card.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: Is that a nine?
- 1:15:59Speaker 6: This is a nine. How many tens exist? I'm not
- 1:16:02Speaker 6: quite sure. Probably not a lot. So it's crazy because
- 1:16:05Speaker 6: Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Batista and Orton and Maven are
- 1:16:10Speaker 6: all rookie cards in this Royal Rumble card.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:16:13Speaker 6: And I have all of them except for Orton, who
- 1:16:15Speaker 6: is in the mail. So I'll have Orton next week.
- 1:16:17Speaker 6: And it's a Fleer set, right? It is 2002 Fleer
- 1:16:21Speaker 6: Royal Rumble Deacon Batista.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: That just shows you how not desirable wrestling cards were
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: at that time.
- 1:16:29Speaker 6: Deacon Batista. I'm pretty sure there's.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: No 01 set at all. It's crazy, right?
- 1:16:33Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: And then there's no 03 set. Then there's that weird
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: WrestleMania 2004 set. That's how much cards were not a thing.
- 1:16:45Speaker 6: Not a thing at all.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: Yeah, in the early 2000s. But now they are because
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: people didn't get them. Big mistake.
- 1:16:52Speaker 6: And the last thing I got from J & J Figures, guys,
- 1:16:55Speaker 6: I picked up all three of these WrestleFeds. Macho Man,
- 1:17:00Speaker 6: Randy Savage. I could not decide on the pictures which
- 1:17:04Speaker 6: one I wanted to get.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: So I said, screw it.
- 1:17:07Speaker 6: I love Macho Man. I'm going to get all three.
- 1:17:09Speaker 6: I don't know if all three will make the cut
- 1:17:11Speaker 6: when I start displaying my retro collection. But I will
- 1:17:14Speaker 6: say packaging on these top notch. We reviewed the British
- 1:17:18Speaker 6: Bulldog a couple months ago.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Packaging top notch. Does it have this slide out? Can
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: you like look at it or no?
- 1:17:22Speaker 6: Yep.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: Yep.
- 1:17:22Speaker 6: I'm going to take out one right now. So I'll
- 1:17:24Speaker 6: take out this. I believe it's a WrestleMania 5 Macho Man.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: Where's the retro collection going?
- 1:17:29Speaker 6: I have a shelf for it now.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: I have a shelf for it now. So it's got.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: You can put like everybody randomly. Yeah.
- 1:17:35Speaker 6: Everybody randomly.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: Cool.
- 1:17:36Speaker 6: Yep, so it has the little cape sealed up. These
- 1:17:40Speaker 6: are from Toy Notion. Look at the back right there.
- 1:17:43Speaker 6: Little macho man on the butt.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:17:46Speaker 6: Interchangeable hands.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: I will say the points make that very fun.
- 1:17:52Speaker 6: So there's no articulation in the arms, but I think
- 1:17:54Speaker 6: that's fine because I think you're going to display it
- 1:17:56Speaker 6: with the cape on.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: It looks very Hasbro.
- 1:18:00Speaker 6: Very Hasbro. Nice shine. Good detail. You know what? I
- 1:18:05Speaker 6: think this is like not quite as detailed as a zombie,
- 1:18:12Speaker 6: but not quite as dumbed down as like a figure
- 1:18:15Speaker 6: collection epic. It's like in the middle of those two.
- 1:18:18Speaker 6: So it's like really, really nice. Like I said, the
- 1:18:21Speaker 6: Hasbro shine on the body, but then like the boots,
- 1:18:24Speaker 6: the trunks, the knee pads are dull, kind of like zombies.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Right. But sometimes I do think just like that chest
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: needs it and like you can kind of. overlook the
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: rest sometimes in my opinion.
- 1:18:37Speaker 6: I love these products I'm going to it's hard to
- 1:18:40Speaker 6: unbox them with this one arm but really really cool
- 1:18:43Speaker 6: so I'm definitely keeping one I might end up keeping
- 1:18:45Speaker 6: all three but I'm excited to see what's next from
- 1:18:48Speaker 6: Toy Notion.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: Does the other hand like the right hand have a
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: point too?
- 1:18:53Speaker 6: So there's interchangeable hands.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. So what are the options there?
- 1:18:57Speaker 6: So it starts with a fist and like almost like a,
- 1:19:01Speaker 6: what is that? Like a rock on. And then there's
- 1:19:03Speaker 6: two points.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: I feel like the two points in that robe just
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: would make that so unique.
- 1:19:09Speaker 6: Very unique.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: On your shelf, right?
- 1:19:12Speaker 6: Damn, Chelsea's texting me. I guess the puking is getting.
- 1:19:14Speaker 6: He's got a pig. He's got a pig.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: This is your future with your new dog, Mark. This
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: is your future, bro. Soon it's just going.
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: To be me.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: It's just going to be me here talking to myself.
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody, I don't know if I said it on stream,
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: but oh, that's what we got this week.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: We got a dog. Is it a puppy or is
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: it a grown-ass dog?
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: It is a three-year-old rescue named Franny. It's a beagle.
- 1:19:36Speaker 8: Wow.
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: Coming tomorrow as of, as we're recording this, I will
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: be gone though. So I come back on Tuesday to
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: let dog.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: Wow. Just laying in your bed.
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: I said the dog is not allowed in the toy
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: room without supervision.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: Peeing on your details.
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: Oh my God.
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: I would cry.
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: I just don't, you know, here's a big one. I
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: don't want my couch to smell like wet dog.
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: There's, Things, and we don't have to get into it now,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: but there's things I would have changed in my dog ownership.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: Number one would be don't let it sleep in your bed.
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: Do not let it sleep in your bed. Yeah. Because
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: once you do that, it's not your bed no more.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: All right. I came home from TNA Wrestling to a
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: package from our friends at Jazzwares. I thought it was
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: something else.
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: I got excited. I ripped it open, but it still
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: is very cool. And something I definitely want to talk
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: about and give them a shout out here. How about
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: ROH Athena? Brand new. Limited to 4,000, which means they
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: made a little more than they did of you, Mark.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: So they're expecting a little higher sales. You get the
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: cooler shipper. I love the art on that shipper for
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: some reason in this, like the sketch almost photo of everybody.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: And then we unveil an all-time action figure glow up,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: I would say, because Athena, you know, very notably had
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: one of the worst Mattel figures in the history of
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: wrestling figures, and then this is surreal. I'm looking at the, man,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: the belt, the wings, the deco hits, the, I mean,
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: pretty outrageous.
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: I love it.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: Stickered there, limited one of 4,000, so ROH Athena, and
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: very fitting, because that's pretty much the only place she wrestles, right?
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, she's also been the champion for longer than
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: Roman Reigns was champion.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: Right. And then this is the only way to get
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: the women's ROH championship.
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: Which is great.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: Perfect.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: So very cool. Jazware is really surprising people on the
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: way out the door with some fun stuff. So grab
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: your Athena. I think she's on sale now. Jazware's vault.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: And possibly collect major because we've been sharing the exclusive.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: So look into that, y'all.
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: And I've said this before. you know before but Athena
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: always delivers every time she's got a big pay-per-view match
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: it's like one of the best matches on the show
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: always so she's been doing great work since she came
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: over to AEW slash Ring of Honor I think one
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: of the people that deserves a figure the most especially
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: on you know the dying days.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: Of like I said all time comeuppance for having such
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: a bad figure to a exceptional.
- 1:22:20Speaker 6: One right absolutely yeah good for her alright let's go
- 1:22:24Speaker 6: to the major mark purchases of the week.
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: All right, Major Mark Purchases of the Week. I'm happy
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: TK is in the chat because I have questions for him.
- 1:22:51Speaker 6: TK has been causing a lot of controversy in my
- 1:22:53Speaker 6: text threads. And we're talking about Thomas TK Kelly.
- 1:22:56Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:22:56Speaker 6: Mark's boss.
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: Yeah, no, he's not here. Okay, well, let's just quickly
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: go here. This is Eric Wanssover. I might be back
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: in the U.S. Wait, what? Oh, sorry. Thomas Cummings purchased
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: this guy from you on your Whatnot stream last week.
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: That's right. I did a Whatnot, guys. I wasn't actively
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: collecting at the time. The AEW BRGs went on sale,
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: so I missed out on them. Got it for a
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: good price and super fast shipping. I shipped it the
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: next day.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: Dude, Sting and Osprey available last night. They sold out
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: pretty quickly, but they were at... They sold out? 50 bucks.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: That's a steal.
- 1:23:35Speaker 6: Of course they sold out.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: That's a steal. Good.
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: Good. I didn't realize it. That Tony Storm... Black and
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: white is very valuable.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: You didn't know that?
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: I did not.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: Those are limited to 250. Yeah. Wow.
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: Here's a crazy one. Willis Figgs, not much to say here,
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: got a stack of absolute gems this week. So we
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: got some signed rare Hardys here. I'm wondering if this
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: is part of, you know, what's his name getting rid
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: of his collection?
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: Oh, no. No, these look too new. This stuff isn't signed, so.
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: night dude jeff hardy stuff is even just mint on
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: car jeff hardy stuff it's crazy really yeah like the
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: price is always like close to 100 bucks i.
- 1:24:23Speaker 6: Mean just because no matter what it is in the
- 1:24:25Speaker 6: year 2026 the hardys are still a draw they're still
- 1:24:29Speaker 6: so popular but there's no like retail product available.
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: And that's why i think major stars series three honestly
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: is going to be pretty successful because i hope so
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: heading it and if you're going to meet the hardys
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: It's an accessible thing that you can purchase right away. Again,
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: I think it's going to be a big hit.
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: Here's our good friend. He's back.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: What am I talking about? Eric Wansover. I thought this was....
- 1:25:00Speaker 7: Roy.
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: What's his name?
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: I'm assuming you thought this was Roy.
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: Yes, I thought this was Roy.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: Roy's had these for years. Yes.
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: He says, I might be back in the U.S., but
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: still got the last of my Mexico City haul this
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: past week. I got 17 of the mini AAA Kellyanne
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: Ricolino figures.
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: Ricolino, yes.
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: It was pretty odd.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: They're very tiny. They're like one inch.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: It was pretty odd how it came together. My friend who,
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: as random as it sounds, is UFC fighter Kelvin Gostelum
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: was in Mexico City the day after I left. Since
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: he speaks Spanish and the seller was willing to deliver them,
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: he grabbed them and brought them back for me. They
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: were 2,300 pesos, which is 130 USD. Mexico City was
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: good to me.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: I mean, just Rey alone, that makes that kind of worthwhile.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: I don't think we talked about it enough. That set,
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: if you think if the Kellyans, I don't know, were
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: successful or kept going, those other characters would have been made.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: Because clearly they're like little kind of Hasbro Royal Rumble
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: ring style. You know what I mean?
- 1:26:03Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: And there's quite a few different ones there.
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm trying to pick out who. That's pretty cool.
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: Not to plug my whatnot again, but boom, Seat Rat here,
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: Major Mark Purchase of the Week, was purchased from a
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: fellow Major Mark who is also a Mark. I won
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: this authentic podcast mic flag on Smart Mark Sterling's whatnot
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: this past week. I was in Ireland for a work trip,
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: and it was pretty late, but I knew I had
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: to try and grab it. Mark runs a very good whatnot.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: See?
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: How about that, guys? And you can tell he has
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: learned over the years from the best in Matt and Brian. Okay,
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: come on.
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: All right. He got to the real point there.
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: Learned from Matt, Brian, and rocking with Dan.
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: Not Ken. Not K & S Ken.
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: He also allows you more than 10 seconds. Matt allowed
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: for inscriptions. Allowing for a nice casual pace.
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: 10 seconds you get.
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: I see both sides of that because a slow response
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: to that does ruin the fun. The vibe of a show.
- 1:27:01Speaker 6: You have 10 seconds for your color and description. I
- 1:27:03Speaker 6: think that's perfectly fair. And I do 10, 9. You
- 1:27:07Speaker 6: should already know if you're winning what you want.
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: There's so many times, and I see this a lot
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: when I'm in breaks and stuff, where people would be like,
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: I don't have my volume on. It's like, you have to.
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: People would be in the chat and say that. It's like,
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: you can't be on what? I don't have your volume on.
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: What are you doing? You're not going to know what
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: the hell you're doing or what you're buying or what
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: the rules are, you know?
- 1:27:30Speaker 2: But he also says, and I have to say, his
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: background soundtracks keep the vibe upbeat. Hopefully he'll begin selling
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: autographed photos of his apron bump.
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: Oh, ask and you shall receive.
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: But that's the thing. We're jamming. We're jamming. I turn
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: the music up. We're waiting for the inscriptions. It's great.
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: Okay. I'm glad you finally have embraced your inner whatnot.
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: Well, you know what it is.
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: You were such a coward.
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: You know what it is? I had taken so much
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: time off.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: Right?
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: And I had tons of stuff. So the first couple
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: ones I did were just, it was too much. 60, 70,
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: you know, items. It was just too much. So lately
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: I've just been doing, you know, 13, 15 auctions with
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: some buy-nows and then it's just more manageable.
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: Right. Of course. All right.
- 1:28:15Speaker 6: I want to get back into whatnot for a second.
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: Everyone that dips their toe in whatnot, I kind of
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: give them that advice. Like, Joe and Gabby, like, They
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: didn't dip their toe, they did like a running no-look
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: cannonball into whatnot. I was like, yo, holy, they didn't even.
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: Have a printer. It was crazy.
- 1:28:33Speaker 6: So I was just fooling around on Whatnot just to see, like,
- 1:28:37Speaker 6: you know, I just wanted to, I like to go
- 1:28:41Speaker 6: on Whatnot and just look at things.
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: You know?
- 1:28:42Speaker 6: People are on Whatnot all day long. But I was
- 1:28:45Speaker 6: looking at my personal account. Now, I don't know if
- 1:28:47Speaker 6: this is correct. And listen, I have not been on
- 1:28:49Speaker 6: Whatnot since January of this year.
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: Yeah, damn.
- 1:28:53Speaker 6: And it said, and this is not counting what I
- 1:28:55Speaker 6: sold when we had the major pod Whatnot.
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: Here I am with my thoughts of you.
- 1:28:57Speaker 6: How many things do you think I sold? How many
- 1:29:00Speaker 6: things do you think I sold?
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: Since January? No, no, no. Or in lifetime?
- 1:29:03Speaker 6: According to this Whatnot app, since I haven't been on
- 1:29:05Speaker 6: since January, and remember the years we did it on
- 1:29:07Speaker 6: the MajorPod app, how many things do you think Matt
- 1:29:09Speaker 6: Cardona sold?
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:29:10Speaker 6: How many do you think I sold?
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: 4,000.
- 1:29:16Speaker 4: 9.4,000.
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:29:17Speaker 6: What are you at?
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: How do you see that number? It's just going to
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: your profile. If that's correct, if that's accurate. On a computer,
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: which I use, like, You see the back end? It's wild,
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: but I can tell you anything. It's like really wild.
- 1:29:31Speaker 6: Yeah, if you just go to your account and then
- 1:29:33Speaker 6: click view profile.
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: It's pretty fun. 9.2.
- 1:29:41Speaker 7: Oh!
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: But you've been doing it a little longer, so... But-
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: You've been doing it for like a year.
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: Matt, in the Rockin' with Dan era, basically the opposite
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: of what you just said, Mark, where you got scared
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: by the packages.
- 1:29:53Speaker 6: Oh, I was going crazy. He wasn't doing them, so
- 1:29:55Speaker 6: he has no fear.
- 1:29:55Speaker 3: Right, no fear.
- 1:29:56Speaker 6: So he's just selling, going, going, going.
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: You know what I mean? I've gotten to the point
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: where I know like 30 to 50 packages is like
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: my wheelhouse, or it's too much for me.
- 1:30:07Speaker 6: Yeah, once I started having Chip Hedda's wife and then
- 1:30:09Speaker 6: Rockin' with Dan, I was selling as much as I could.
- 1:30:13Speaker 8: Hmm.
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: Did I tell you about the commission thing? Yeah, that's crazy.
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: So now you get rewarded for how much you sell.
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: Your commission rate drops. I wonder if you can get
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: it down to zero or no way? Okay, this is wild.
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: If you sell 1.5 million, which is the most they're
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: willing to drop it, it goes down to 5%. That's great.
- 1:30:43Speaker 6: I was giving Dan 10%. You can qualify for it.
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: I guess at 250K, you can qualify for 5%. That's
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: pretty wild.
- 1:30:53Speaker 6: Five is the max.
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: That's the max. I've already dropped mine with this program,
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: which they just created this program and emailed me like, congratulations,
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: your new thing. I wasn't striving for this. I already
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: dropped mine to 7.25%. So crazy. Yeah.
- 1:31:12Speaker 6: Man, I love whatnot. I'm missing whatnot. You know I'm
- 1:31:14Speaker 6: trying to figure something out. It is the future, and
- 1:31:16Speaker 6: it's so fun. Every wrestler that gets on it, people
- 1:31:19Speaker 6: are like, oh, you're not worried. I'm like, no, I
- 1:31:22Speaker 6: want to teach them and help them. I had a
- 1:31:25Speaker 6: talk with Zoe Stark about it this week at TNA
- 1:31:27Speaker 6: because I caught her on it. At one point, someone
- 1:31:30Speaker 6: was giving me shit. I forget who. Stop telling all
- 1:31:33Speaker 6: the wrestlers about it. I'm like, fuck off.
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: That's insane. No, it doesn't work like that. This is
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: how I feel.
- 1:31:39Speaker 6: If you're the best at it, You'll.
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: Do the best. Same as wrestling, right? Yeah, same as
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: any job, right?
- 1:31:45Speaker 8: Yeah, no.
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: Well, Brian is the best at it. He runs a store.
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: I tell this to people all the time. Brian loves it.
- 1:31:51Speaker 2: He actually enjoys it. It's like a hobby. He runs
- 1:31:53Speaker 2: his own virtual store.
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: I'm way too deep into it, yes.
- 1:31:56Speaker 6: I love it. But that's cool. I do appreciate what
- 1:31:59Speaker 6: Brian does. I appreciate how Brian will go to a
- 1:32:01Speaker 6: vintage toy store or eBay, pick something up, and then
- 1:32:03Speaker 6: go to the talent to sign it.
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: I personally couldn't do that. But I appreciate that he does.
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: Even like, this is like way down into the rebel.
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: Like I don't know Zoe Stark from a hole in
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: the wall. Like I've never met her, never spoke to her.
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: So I randomly was like cruising and whatnot. And some
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: guy had those cards that Broski infamously has the awkward
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: photo in. It was a random break. So five bucks,
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: spun the wheel, I hit Zoe Stark. I'm like, I'm
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: going to ting because I know I can get to her.
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: So all these Zoe Stark cards come in the mail.
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: So I took like the numbered variant ones and a
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: couple base ones. And then I see her this week.
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: I said, hey, I saw you on whatnot. I said,
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: I got a little trade for you. I'm like, you
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: keep these and you sign these for me. And then
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: we just said we had a nice talk about whatnot.
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: And that was literally the first time I've spoken to
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: her really. Right. But I don't care.
- 1:32:50Speaker 2: I just– yeah, I did that exact thing with MXM.
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: I gave them their– I got their Matt Relic card.
- 1:32:57Speaker 2: So I gave them that and then I had them
- 1:32:59Speaker 2: sign a bunch of cards.
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: Right. So– and I also– And I actually explained this
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: to her too, also because I love TNA so much.
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: If it's a TNA person, I like it even more
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: because I can talk about TNA and I can put
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: them over and, you know.
- 1:33:12Speaker 6: It's way more than just sales.
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: Fun added thing to the sale, right?
- 1:33:15Speaker 6: Yeah, it's more than just sales. It's connection. It's promotion.
- 1:33:20Speaker 6: I tell people all the time, it's like an Instagram
- 1:33:21Speaker 6: Live meets eBay. It's really how you.
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: A certain Mr. Freedom came over my house yesterday and he's... DeFreedom? Mr.
- 1:33:29Speaker 6: Friedman.
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: Friedman.
- 1:33:30Speaker 6: Oh, there's a.
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: No, we're still looking for Mr. Freedom, actually. But Mr.
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: Freedom dropped off a bunch of ring-worn stuff that I'm
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: going to be doing. Oh, boy.
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: Do you remember when we did that Max hat, that
- 1:33:46Speaker 2: bar mitzvah hat?
- 1:33:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:33:47Speaker 2: For over a thousand bucks. Right, right. All right, back
- 1:33:51Speaker 2: to purchases.
- 1:33:51Speaker 6: I'll give you a bunch of a blog post.
- 1:33:54Speaker 2: This is a big boy here.
- 1:33:55Speaker 5: Wow.
- 1:33:56Speaker 2: Ryan Daniel, I decided to jump down my next rabbit
- 1:33:58Speaker 2: hole this week. AWA Remco mock figures.
- 1:34:01Speaker 6: Oh, good luck.
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: That's a rabbit hole, brother. Good luck, Val. That's a
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: gaping wound.
- 1:34:07Speaker 6: And you start with this?
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: Oh, this is a deep, this is like. Dude, that
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: thing is beautiful condition. Holy shit. Yeah.
- 1:34:16Speaker 2: He says, I was able to pick up a graded
- 1:34:18Speaker 2: Doug Summers earlier in the week. Then I picked up
- 1:34:22Speaker 2: five more later in the week. the Freebirds, Abdullah, and Colon,
- 1:34:26Speaker 2: Henning and Gagne, the Long Riders, Jimmy Garvin, Steven Riegel,
- 1:34:30Speaker 2: and Precious. These figures are before my time, but in
- 1:34:33Speaker 2: the awesome detail.
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: Do you guys ever think about this? I think about
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: this sometimes with collecting. What do you think his attachment
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: is to Doug Summers? You know what I mean? To
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: spend all that money on that.
- 1:34:46Speaker 6: Dude, I do the same thing. I have no attachment
- 1:34:49Speaker 6: to Doug Summers. I don't know if I've ever seen
- 1:34:50Speaker 6: a Doug Summers match.
- 1:34:51Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: I'm thinking like, One day, I'm sure somebody's going to
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: contact me and be like, I have an autographed fucking
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: Giant Gonzalez. And I'm going to think, what am I
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: going to be willing to spend on this guy who,
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: no offense, I could have cared less about when I
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: was a kid. Had a couple stinkers with Undertaker. You
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: know what I mean? But what am I going to
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: be willing to pay? It's a weird aspect of collecting,
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: you know what I mean?
- 1:35:15Speaker 2: I guess, but Giant Gonzalez is like, he represents some pretty...
- 1:35:20Speaker 2: I don't know. He's very memorable, right? In that time period.
- 1:35:22Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: I think you're really justified. Or like Ludwig Borger. I've
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: never seen a Ludwig Borger article.
- 1:35:27Speaker 2: That one's a tough one. That one.
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: He had like a match with Lex Luger and was
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: around for like six months.
- 1:35:34Speaker 2: And he's not a great person.
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: And he's not revered as a great person in his,
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: you know.
- 1:35:39Speaker 6: Some of the figures that I've spent the most money on,
- 1:35:41Speaker 6: like a Moonbelly Kamala, Rhythm and Blues Greg.
- 1:35:44Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: You basically wanted to fight you for saying that you don't.
- 1:35:47Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:35:48Speaker 6: He almost got in a fight with me.
- 1:35:49Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:35:50Speaker 6: Over it.
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: Which I totally understand what you were trying to say.
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: It wasn't like you lived and died by the Rhythm
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: and Blues tag team.
- 1:35:58Speaker 6: You would think so if you saw the shrine I had.
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: I know. Okay, so that's what I'm trying to call out.
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: Sometimes it gets a little weird, right? I have the
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: magazine graded. I have the green standard-haired rockers that shows
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: Rhythm and Blues- turned backwards graded on display.
- 1:36:14Speaker 6: The two up graded. I have the, I have the
- 1:36:17Speaker 6: figure graded. I have the, what's it called? The little,
- 1:36:22Speaker 6: what's that little thing called? I don't even know. The
- 1:36:24Speaker 6: little photo. What's that thing called? You know what I'm
- 1:36:27Speaker 6: talking about?
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: I know what you're talking about, but I don't know.
- 1:36:28Speaker 6: Reference slide, reference slide.
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: Reference slide, okay. Graded.
- 1:36:31Speaker 6: At one point I had the unpainted polyurethane and I
- 1:36:35Speaker 6: sold that. I'm like, this is too much.
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: But as Tommy Dreamer would say to you, you could
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: pay the real Greg Valentine to come stand in the corner.
- 1:36:40Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: For much less money than.
- 1:36:43Speaker 6: What you're doing all this. Don't you think that'd be
- 1:36:45Speaker 6: like a great vlog? Like when you open your toy room? No,
- 1:36:52Speaker 6: like we're doing the toy room and I'm telling the
- 1:36:53Speaker 6: whole story about Greg. And here, we have Greg in
- 1:36:56Speaker 6: the jacket. I make him dye his hair black. And
- 1:36:58Speaker 6: he's just standing there having a coffee.
- 1:37:03Speaker 2: That is phenomenal.
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: Oh, shit.
- 1:37:05Speaker 2: And then you make it a thing where later in
- 1:37:08Speaker 2: vignettes and things, Greg just lives with you. You just
- 1:37:11Speaker 2: see him in the background, like going in the pool,
- 1:37:13Speaker 2: smoking a cigar, maybe.
- 1:37:14Speaker 7: Hey, Matt.
- 1:37:14Speaker 6: Hey, Greg.
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:37:16Speaker 6: That'd be a great show for Club WWE.
- 1:37:17Speaker 4: Oh, shit.
- 1:37:18Speaker 2: That and Greg Valentine. All right. I have a question
- 1:37:24Speaker 2: for TK Kelly. If you're following along at home, last
- 1:37:27Speaker 2: week he.
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: Purchased- He's a trolling dreamer, but spending hundreds of dollars.
- 1:37:30Speaker 2: He purchased three Tommy Dreamer figures and made him sign
- 1:37:34Speaker 2: mean things on them. But this week he purchased three more.
- 1:37:39Speaker 2: Tommy Dreamer figures, and they say, the innovator of whatnot.
- 1:37:46Speaker 2: The next one says, Matt Cardona is not my favorite
- 1:37:49Speaker 2: ECW original.
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:37:51Speaker 2: And the last one says, Zack Ryder is still alive
- 1:37:53Speaker 2: to me, damn it. He says, the birthday haul worthy
- 1:37:57Speaker 2: of a major mark. He celebrated the big 4-0, so
- 1:38:00Speaker 2: happy birthday.
- 1:38:00Speaker 6: Happy birthday.
- 1:38:02Speaker 2: And he also says, apparently my last post made an
- 1:38:04Speaker 2: impact because this week the figures arrived in outer case
- 1:38:07Speaker 2: shippers and With actual packaging material.
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: No, that's because when I talked to him on the phone,
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: I made fun of him. That's why, TK.
- 1:38:15Speaker 2: He says that his streams are great.
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: His excuse was so old man, too. Because he's like, well,
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: if they buy one, it just goes right back in
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: the shipper thing. Which, by the way, if you haven't
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: seen that shipper that Ringside has for those, it's unbelievable.
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: Like it really is like a nice tight, like protected
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: cardboard box. But if they buy more than one, then
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: he's like, Oh shit, I don't know what to do.
- 1:38:36Speaker 2: So, but anyway, he says there is no trolling going on.
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: There's no trolling.
- 1:38:40Speaker 6: Now he owes, you know, what are you going to
- 1:38:41Speaker 6: do with these?
- 1:38:42Speaker 2: Six Tommy dreamer figures with weird inscriptions, man. But hey,
- 1:38:48Speaker 2: your collection is your collection, right?
- 1:38:50Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:38:51Speaker 2: All right, display of the week. Check out this. We
- 1:38:55Speaker 2: know this room.
- 1:38:57Speaker 6: Is that Eamon?
- 1:38:58Speaker 2: Broski has been there. Eamon Merrigan finally giving the greatest
- 1:39:00Speaker 2: video game of all time its due. So he has
- 1:39:03Speaker 2: the video game Rampage there. Looks like a vintage one-up cabinet.
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: I have not a clue what Rampage is.
- 1:39:13Speaker 8: What?
- 1:39:14Speaker 6: What are you talking about?
- 1:39:16Speaker 1: Nothing.
- 1:39:16Speaker 2: Oh, man.
- 1:39:18Speaker 1: Not a clue.
- 1:39:19Speaker 2: He's got the figures up there. I love this game.
- 1:39:23Speaker 2: I love these one-up cabinets. I love cabinets. I would
- 1:39:27Speaker 2: love to have more. I have two in my house,
- 1:39:30Speaker 2: but one in my daughter's room and one in my room.
- 1:39:32Speaker 2: I would love to have more. I would love to
- 1:39:33Speaker 2: have a garage full of them. Have an arcade or something.
- 1:39:36Speaker 6: I've got three of them. I can't tell you the
- 1:39:39Speaker 6: last time I played any of them. But they're great decorations.
- 1:39:42Speaker 1: I think that's the problem. I wouldn't do it. I
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: don't know.
- 1:39:46Speaker 2: No, they're great decorations.
- 1:39:47Speaker 1: It's just not part of my life to stop what
- 1:39:49Speaker 1: I'm doing and play a game. I don't play a
- 1:39:52Speaker 1: game on my phone. I don't have any console. It's
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: just been so long.
- 1:39:57Speaker 2: The arcade cabinets are for parties. You have some people over.
- 1:40:00Speaker 6: I use them for pure decoration.
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: How many times are you having parties with people over?
- 1:40:03Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying?
- 1:40:04Speaker 2: We've had it. We've had it.
- 1:40:06Speaker 6: Hey, guys, if you'd like to come, I'm having a
- 1:40:08Speaker 6: New Year's party, throwing out the invite.
- 1:40:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I really want to hang out with Danilo, the ref. Thanks,
- 1:40:12Speaker 1: but no thanks. I'm good.
- 1:40:18Speaker 2: Oh, boy. You went to his New Year's party one time.
- 1:40:21Speaker 1: He came once. I did. It wasn't bad. It actually
- 1:40:23Speaker 1: was fun. Shoes was there.
- 1:40:24Speaker 6: Matt and Chelsea don't feed nobody.
- 1:40:27Speaker 1: That was my favorite part.
- 1:40:29Speaker 6: Sure you said that?
- 1:40:29Speaker 1: Yeah, because all you provide is drinks and nothing to eat.
- 1:40:33Speaker 6: No, we don't provide dinner. There's like... You know, it's
- 1:40:37Speaker 6: like a 10 o'clock.
- 1:40:38Speaker 1: She went full Italian on you guys. Liz always talks
- 1:40:40Speaker 1: about it, too.
- 1:40:41Speaker 2: No, that was Deanna.
- 1:40:41Speaker 1: Matt, just don't feed nobody. She was heated. She brought
- 1:40:45Speaker 1: like a charcuterie thing and saved the day. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:40:47Speaker 6: There's always like chips, charcuterie boards, and stuff like that.
- 1:40:50Speaker 1: I feel like Deanna brought it to that one because
- 1:40:52Speaker 1: there was nothing.
- 1:40:52Speaker 6: There's always stuff like that.
- 1:40:54Speaker 1: Always.
- 1:40:54Speaker 6: But never like a meal. It's not catered meals. I'm
- 1:40:56Speaker 6: not the Miz. Come on. I'm not the Miz. It's
- 1:41:01Speaker 6: a catered meal.
- 1:41:02Speaker 1: Holy shit.
- 1:41:05Speaker 2: All right, that's it.
- 1:41:06Speaker 6: All right. Up next is a Q & A brought
- 1:41:09Speaker 6: to you by Blue Chew.
- 1:41:14Speaker 2: Guys, if you're a lady or your fellow or the
- 1:41:16Speaker 2: person that sends you an eggplant emoji at 2 a.m.

- 1:41:22Speaker 2: where Blue Chew comes in. They've been on a mission

- 1:41:32Speaker 2: arousal boosting formula, Blue Chew Gold, is helping millions of
- 1:41:35Speaker 2: men have better sex in 2026. While most ED meds
- 1:41:40Speaker 2: only focus on blood flow, Blue Chew Gold goes further
- 1:41:43Speaker 2: by combining two ingredients for blood flow with two ingredients
- 1:41:46Speaker 2: for mental arousal and connection. So you're not just physically ready,
- 1:41:49Speaker 2: you're actually in the mood. This type of innovation is
- 1:41:52Speaker 2: why Blue Chew Gold is the number one brand in
- 1:41:54Speaker 2: erectile function. Now, here's the deal. You'll hear in professional wrestling,
- 1:41:59Speaker 2: a lot of the old timers will say less is more. Well, no.
- 1:42:02Speaker 2: How about more is more? More blood flow, more arousal,
- 1:42:05Speaker 2: more performance. Don't let your mind get in the way
- 1:42:09Speaker 2: of a good time. Discover your options at BlueChew.com. And
- 1:42:13Speaker 2: we've got a special deal for our listeners. Right now,
- 1:42:16Speaker 2: when you buy two months of Blue Chew Gold, you
- 1:42:18Speaker 2: get the third for free with promo code MAJOR. That's
- 1:42:22Speaker 2: promo code MAJOR. Visit bluechew.com for more details and important
- 1:42:27Speaker 2: safety information. And we thank Blue Chew for sponsoring this podcast.
- 1:42:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:42:43Speaker 7: It's that time again in the show to scratch that itch.
- 1:42:48Speaker 2: Ask the boys what you want to know.
- 1:42:49Speaker 7: Yeah. You better make sure that your question is good.
- 1:42:54Speaker 7: Like what's your Mount Rushmore of figures from your childhood?
- 1:42:58Speaker 2: Jump on X and use the tag.
- 1:43:00Speaker 1: Ask a major pod.
- 1:43:02Speaker 2: It'll get you hard.
- 1:43:03Speaker 7: If they read your question on air, you'll get a prize.
- 1:43:08Speaker 7: Now that's super rare. You better be smart, professional, and complete.
- 1:43:13Speaker 7: Then maybe the boys will pick you for the Q
- 1:43:16Speaker 7: & A this week.
- 1:43:19Speaker 1: Ha ha!
- 1:43:21Speaker 6: All right, guys. Q & A brought to you by
- 1:43:24Speaker 6: Blue Chew. As of this recording, Sunday morning, we have
- 1:43:28Speaker 6: another Halloween Horror Nights R.I.P. We're going to have a
- 1:43:31Speaker 6: lot of cocktails. So I will need that Blue Chew
- 1:43:35Speaker 6: for my cock.
- 1:43:38Speaker 1: Tell us exactly how it's going to go down.
- 1:43:42Speaker 2: There's no sugar coat in that.
- 1:43:44Speaker 1: Where do we go from there?
- 1:43:45Speaker 6: You know, get that Blue Chew, baby.
- 1:43:48Speaker 2: Yeah, use your code if you also need Blue Chew
- 1:43:50Speaker 2: for your cock. All right, Matt's question. Chad Moore at
- 1:43:54Speaker 2: Seymour82Lamb with Broski's new Topps card being the talk of
- 1:43:57Speaker 2: the card collecting community. See, I told you. What is
- 1:44:00Speaker 2: your favorite and least favorite card of yourself?
- 1:44:04Speaker 1: All right, well, I'll start this, and obviously I knew
- 1:44:06Speaker 1: the question, so I was prepared.
- 1:44:09Speaker 8: Oh.
- 1:44:09Speaker 1: I mean, I could send Mark some proof.
- 1:44:12Speaker 6: I'm working right now on a special card project, so
- 1:44:15Speaker 6: I actually have all of my cards out at my disposal. Now,
- 1:44:19Speaker 6: I'm just counting... WWE cards right now because some of
- 1:44:23Speaker 6: my favorite cards are the major pod cards or like,
- 1:44:26Speaker 6: you know, Jeff Shabo made an awesome Hammerstein Ballroom Relic,
- 1:44:29Speaker 6: stuff like that. But I'm just counting WWE for the
- 1:44:32Speaker 6: sake of this. So I have some honorable mentions for
- 1:44:35Speaker 6: my least, okay? I guess a runner-up. The third runner-up
- 1:44:39Speaker 6: or the third least favorite card. First glance, looks like
- 1:44:44Speaker 6: a normal card. And nowadays, I'm fine with it by
- 1:44:47Speaker 6: the time I hated it. It's a Zack Ryder Topps card.
- 1:44:49Speaker 6: You can't tell but I'm wearing a broski wig. This
- 1:44:54Speaker 6: is a house show. This is a house show.
- 1:44:56Speaker 1: That's a wild choice, like how that happened.
- 1:44:58Speaker 6: You can't really tell, but I know, you know?
- 1:45:01Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:45:02Speaker 6: And there it is. This image was even on another card.
- 1:45:05Speaker 6: It made two different cards. So now I'm fine with it.
- 1:45:09Speaker 6: I think it's funny. But at the time, I was devastated. Like,
- 1:45:12Speaker 6: I'm wearing my wig? Because Zachary was so serious.
- 1:45:16Speaker 1: Yeah. I also think that's not as bad because you
- 1:45:19Speaker 1: know and I don't think the average person is seeing
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: that card. Right, right.
- 1:45:24Speaker 6: The next least favorite card, I don't even know what
- 1:45:27Speaker 6: maneuver this is. It's me hitting Jack Swagger with, I
- 1:45:32Speaker 6: don't even know what this is. I can't even tell
- 1:45:35Speaker 6: you what this is.
- 1:45:37Speaker 1: It's a botched move, bro.
- 1:45:38Speaker 6: I don't know. I can't tell you what this is.
- 1:45:44Speaker 6: It looks like I'm giving him a sling blade, which
- 1:45:45Speaker 6: I've never done.
- 1:45:47Speaker 2: Right. Yeah, I was going to say.
- 1:45:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess that's crazy. Yeah, you don't do that.
- 1:45:52Speaker 6: So I don't know if I'm doing like Tito Santana
- 1:45:54Speaker 6: forearm and this is just like midair afterwards. I don't
- 1:45:57Speaker 6: know what it is.
- 1:45:58Speaker 1: And that's TV. That's not a live and that's TV
- 1:46:00Speaker 1: or something, right? It looks like TV. Maybe I should
- 1:46:04Speaker 1: go watch this match back. Hey, somebody for follow up,
- 1:46:08Speaker 1: find this match.
- 1:46:09Speaker 2: That would be awesome. I would love to see that.
- 1:46:12Speaker 6: Zack Ryder versus Jax Wagger. I'm wearing, like, LI on
- 1:46:16Speaker 6: my knee pads, like, computerized gear. Get some follow-up.
- 1:46:19Speaker 1: And then here we go.
- 1:46:22Speaker 6: Well, guys, honestly, my least favorite card is that Topps card,
- 1:46:24Speaker 6: but I'm not the newest Topps card. That's the winner?
- 1:46:29Speaker 6: That's my least favorite for so many reasons. It's my
- 1:46:31Speaker 6: first pack-pulled card back, and it's that.
- 1:46:34Speaker 1: Wow. I hate it.
- 1:46:35Speaker 6: But I'm going to say this. So 2017... You know, 2016,
- 1:46:40Speaker 6: I get in better shape, grow the beard, win the
- 1:46:44Speaker 6: IC title at Mania. Such a great year. So I'm like,
- 1:46:47Speaker 6: all right, so my next year, 2017, I'm going to
- 1:46:49Speaker 6: have a great card. No, they choose this photo from, like, 2015. Like,
- 1:46:55Speaker 6: this random, like, I'm wearing long tights.
- 1:46:58Speaker 1: I wore it one time. I think people are going
- 1:47:00Speaker 1: to see this segment and realize, like, how little... control
- 1:47:03Speaker 1: we have over this. Right.
- 1:47:04Speaker 6: I'm like, what, what is this image from like two
- 1:47:07Speaker 6: or three years ago?
- 1:47:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:47:08Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 1:47:09Speaker 1: No beard.
- 1:47:10Speaker 6: Like even the back talks about like how I won
- 1:47:13Speaker 6: the IC title at mania talks about the hype bros
- 1:47:15Speaker 6: talks about me being injured. So like, wow.
- 1:47:19Speaker 1: Oh wow. So that's really weird. Yeah.
- 1:47:20Speaker 6: So when this comes out, I'm like, what is this card?
- 1:47:22Speaker 6: If this came out like 2015 or something, I'd be like, okay, 2014,
- 1:47:26Speaker 6: whatever this era was, but came out and I know
- 1:47:29Speaker 6: they work in advance, but Jesus.
- 1:47:32Speaker 2: Yeah, no, that's crazy.
- 1:47:33Speaker 6: Didn't like that. All right, then for my favorite cards.
- 1:47:37Speaker 6: Some people don't count this as a card. I do.
- 1:47:40Speaker 6: It's the Major Brothers Tops.
- 1:47:44Speaker 1: Very rare card. Very rare card.
- 1:47:46Speaker 6: People don't count it because it's technically like a game, right?
- 1:47:50Speaker 1: Yes and no, yeah. But I love this.
- 1:47:53Speaker 6: There's not any, as far as I know, American Major
- 1:47:59Speaker 6: Brothers product.
- 1:47:59Speaker 1: No, no, yeah.
- 1:48:00Speaker 6: Right, it's all international.
- 1:48:02Speaker 1: We had that and the poker chip, right?
- 1:48:05Speaker 6: And there's other cards of us, but they're all foreign. Right.
- 1:48:10Speaker 6: My runner-up, talk about the beer and the IC title,
- 1:48:14Speaker 6: is the WrestleMania holding up the IC title card.
- 1:48:17Speaker 1: That's cool. I have this.
- 1:48:20Speaker 6: Created by PSA as well on display behind me. So
- 1:48:23Speaker 6: this is a pretty damn cool card. And then my favorite,
- 1:48:26Speaker 6: Matt Cardona card, or Zack Ryder card, is a Matt
- 1:48:30Speaker 6: Cardona card. The top's now making it back to WWE.
- 1:48:34Speaker 6: Matt Cardona, first Matt Cardona card. I really wish this
- 1:48:38Speaker 6: was the Packed Bolt card, but I'll take it.
- 1:48:40Speaker 1: Yeah, well, that whole set is posed photos, so that
- 1:48:44Speaker 1: wouldn't work.
- 1:48:45Speaker 6: Yeah, but this is a great card. But I did
- 1:48:47Speaker 6: want to take this time to break some news and
- 1:48:51Speaker 6: show you what my new favorite card's going to be.
- 1:48:54Speaker 6: Just got this in the mail from Topps. I don't
- 1:48:57Speaker 6: even know if I'm supposed to be showing this.
- 1:48:59Speaker 1: No, you're allowed to.
- 1:49:00Speaker 6: Check out what's coming.
- 1:49:01Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 1:49:01Speaker 6: Dual Auto, Chelsea Green, Matt Cardona.
- 1:49:05Speaker 1: Are you going to sign right over her face like
- 1:49:07Speaker 1: you do for me?
- 1:49:07Speaker 6: Guys, this is a one. This is the one of 25.
- 1:49:11Speaker 6: I'm going to sign this right now, live. With the
- 1:49:14Speaker 6: proper pen, I hope? Proper pen. I got the proper pen.
- 1:49:18Speaker 2: You just barely have a proper hand.
- 1:49:20Speaker 6: I know, so I'm going to have to back up
- 1:49:22Speaker 6: and sign it.
- 1:49:29Speaker 2: That's pretty cool. So now, hey, there's some podcast lore
- 1:49:33Speaker 2: on that card. The one of 25.
- 1:49:35Speaker 1: We'll find the one that Matt signed live on the pod.
- 1:49:38Speaker 1: There it is.
- 1:49:39Speaker 6: Major.
- 1:49:40Speaker 2: Oh, I love that.
- 1:49:41Speaker 1: Look at that.
- 1:49:43Speaker 6: Chelsea Green, Matt Cardona, Major, one to 25. Who is
- 1:49:47Speaker 6: going to pack pull this? This is a clip, Billy.
- 1:49:51Speaker 1: Look at that.
- 1:49:53Speaker 6: And I'll tell you right now, that was very hard
- 1:49:55Speaker 6: to sign, and I have to sign like thousands of
- 1:49:57Speaker 6: cards this week. This is going to be fun. This
- 1:49:59Speaker 6: is going to be real fun.
- 1:50:01Speaker 1: Wow. That's another thing people don't realize, man. That is like...
- 1:50:05Speaker 1: When you get that, at least the first time, you're
- 1:50:06Speaker 1: very excited. And then after a couple, you're like, whoa,
- 1:50:09Speaker 1: this is tough.
- 1:50:11Speaker 2: All right, so Brian, you sent me a couple cards here.
- 1:50:13Speaker 2: What do we got?
- 1:50:13Speaker 1: My least favorite, hands down, is the no beard, 0% famous. No, no,
- 1:50:20Speaker 1: that's one of my favorites. This one. Mid-awkward stride. This
- 1:50:28Speaker 1: look never got off the ground. Is this like the
- 1:50:31Speaker 1: Prince of Queens look? Yeah, I got let go. I
- 1:50:33Speaker 1: had a couple matches on main event or whatever. Is
- 1:50:37Speaker 1: there long hair or short hair? I have short hair.
- 1:50:39Speaker 1: I have no beard. It's crazy. There's probably a handful
- 1:50:44Speaker 1: of matches where I looked like this. I'm pretty sure
- 1:50:46Speaker 1: I wrestled RVD.
- 1:50:49Speaker 6: What an opponent.
- 1:50:50Speaker 1: I know. I think I wrestled a weird eight man
- 1:50:53Speaker 1: where I was with the 3MB guys. Maybe Justin Gabriel.
- 1:50:58Speaker 1: I'm like, that's it.
- 1:50:59Speaker 2: Damn.
- 1:51:00Speaker 1: If we look it up.
- 1:51:01Speaker 6: Yeah, but you got a card.
- 1:51:02Speaker 1: Which is awkward and then I hate when people bring
- 1:51:04Speaker 1: this to me because I just feel like it's like
- 1:51:05Speaker 1: isn't me and this person just never this person like
- 1:51:07Speaker 1: never existed to me you know what I mean because
- 1:51:09Speaker 1: it never did anything or got off the ground or
- 1:51:10Speaker 1: had a shot.
- 1:51:12Speaker 2: Not aces and eights but what was the show? This
- 1:51:13Speaker 2: was your biker gang?
- 1:51:14Speaker 1: I literally I did the tag with Rex he quit
- 1:51:17Speaker 1: I blew out my knee I had knee surgery I
- 1:51:19Speaker 1: was out for four months I watched Sons of Anarchy
- 1:51:22Speaker 1: from beginning to end and I was like oh and
- 1:51:24Speaker 1: I was like stealing elements of that to come back
- 1:51:26Speaker 1: but this look never like got a shot never even
- 1:51:30Speaker 1: got a chance to be on television or anything so
- 1:51:32Speaker 1: It is what it is.
- 1:51:32Speaker 2: And then one of your favorites?
- 1:51:34Speaker 1: But also the awkwardness of that. And this one I
- 1:51:36Speaker 1: love because I think it sums up the career of
- 1:51:37Speaker 1: Curt Hawkins. This is me waiting. I have no entrance.
- 1:51:41Speaker 1: And I'm waiting while Brodus does the dance for the
- 1:51:44Speaker 1: very first time. And I'm watching from the outside in
- 1:51:47Speaker 1: his debut. And I feel like this sums up Curt
- 1:51:49Speaker 1: Hawkins pretty great. And I just look like such an asshole.
- 1:51:54Speaker 1: But I like that. And then my honorable mention, obviously,
- 1:51:57Speaker 1: is the WrestleMania one. Me and Broski. winning the tag
- 1:52:01Speaker 1: titles in MetLife.
- 1:52:02Speaker 2: Great card.
- 1:52:03Speaker 1: Yeah. I also love, I couldn't find a picture of
- 1:52:06Speaker 1: it when my quick search was, when I started at TNA,
- 1:52:11Speaker 1: I got a set made by Nerd Clothing. And it
- 1:52:14Speaker 1: was like the first TNA cards in years and years.
- 1:52:17Speaker 1: And I was the one who kind of like spirited that,
- 1:52:18Speaker 1: and I thought that was cool. And my card just
- 1:52:20Speaker 1: happens to be, you know, we had no choice in
- 1:52:22Speaker 1: picking those photos either, but it's a match where I
- 1:52:24Speaker 1: wrestled Josh Alexander, and I really liked the match. But
- 1:52:26Speaker 1: also I'm wearing my armband for Brody in the match.
- 1:52:29Speaker 1: So I think that's cool. And you can see it
- 1:52:30Speaker 1: like clear as day.
- 1:52:33Speaker 2: So a lot of people might think I was going
- 1:52:35Speaker 2: to say Mark Long Sterling. I like this card. I
- 1:52:40Speaker 2: think it's cool. And it's my rookie. So, you know,
- 1:52:44Speaker 2: obviously a mistake.
- 1:52:45Speaker 6: You look like you're in the right to censor.
- 1:52:48Speaker 2: Also, the funny thing is I took my jacket off
- 1:52:51Speaker 2: like twice in my entire career.
- 1:52:53Speaker 1: And this was one of them. Again, we have no
- 1:52:55Speaker 1: control over this, guys. People got to realize.
- 1:52:58Speaker 2: But I dislike this one more. This one is also
- 1:53:01Speaker 2: a mess up, but we never really talked about it.
- 1:53:02Speaker 1: I've never seen that one.
- 1:53:03Speaker 6: What's the mess up?
- 1:53:04Speaker 2: It says I'm an announcer.
- 1:53:04Speaker 1: I didn't know this. Today's years old with this.
- 1:53:10Speaker 2: Announcers. Mark Sterling.
- 1:53:13Speaker 1: You've done the pre-show a bunch of times, right?
- 1:53:15Speaker 2: So yeah, I was thinking that they were, you know,
- 1:53:18Speaker 2: I was on the panel of a few times with
- 1:53:21Speaker 2: the pre-show. I did the pre-show shows and I also
- 1:53:24Speaker 2: announced my guys to the ring. So I don't know
- 1:53:26Speaker 2: if there was confusion there or it was a way
- 1:53:29Speaker 2: to slip me into the set by putting me in
- 1:53:32Speaker 2: a set with announcers.
- 1:53:33Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:53:33Speaker 6: Was there like a manager's section?
- 1:53:37Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:53:37Speaker 6: Yeah, it's like a subset of the set. But was
- 1:53:39Speaker 6: there a manager's is what I'm saying.
- 1:53:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:53:42Speaker 1: Oh, like did he get snubbed? It's just Stokely, no Mark.
- 1:53:45Speaker 2: Well, there's so many managers. And then this is my favorite.
- 1:53:49Speaker 2: I said it's really hard to make me look cool,
- 1:53:52Speaker 2: but this card somehow did it.
- 1:53:54Speaker 1: Do you have that out of 10?
- 1:53:57Speaker 2: I don't have this. I just pulled this off the internet.
- 1:53:59Speaker 1: You need to try to start collecting shit.
- 1:54:00Speaker 6: Mark, do you even try to get these?
- 1:54:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I have a bunch of these.
- 1:54:03Speaker 1: He doesn't even try.
- 1:54:05Speaker 2: I have a bunch of these. That one's so cool.
- 1:54:07Speaker 2: I said to the upper deck guys, it's very hard
- 1:54:09Speaker 2: to make me look cool, but they did it.
- 1:54:11Speaker 6: Oh, they definitely did it.
- 1:54:13Speaker 2: All right. Brian's question here. La Puma won twice, by
- 1:54:17Speaker 2: the way. Mike LaPuma, Hulkamania 1980.
- 1:54:19Speaker 1: He's the Hall of Fame question asker.
- 1:54:21Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:54:22Speaker 2: You're picked to be on Family Feud, but you have
- 1:54:25Speaker 2: to pick your colleagues to be on your team. Who
- 1:54:27Speaker 2: are you picking to help you win the money? That's
- 1:54:30Speaker 2: a great question.
- 1:54:32Speaker 6: I'm going to do a cop-out answer and do my
- 1:54:34Speaker 6: major pot family. Smart Mark Sterling.
- 1:54:36Speaker 1: What?
- 1:54:37Speaker 6: Brian Myers.
- 1:54:38Speaker 1: Chelsea. I don't think I pick either one of you. Hornswoggle.
- 1:54:40Speaker 6: Chelsea, I think. And I pick Hornswoggle because- Dylan doesn't
- 1:54:44Speaker 6: know anything unless it happened in Wisconsin. Hey, that's why
- 1:54:46Speaker 6: I want Dylan.
- 1:54:47Speaker 2: He just wants to be entertaining.
- 1:54:48Speaker 6: I want the viral clips that you see on Instagram.
- 1:54:50Speaker 1: Oh, then you're good.
- 1:54:51Speaker 6: With the horrible answers.
- 1:54:52Speaker 1: Oh, then you're good.
- 1:54:53Speaker 6: With the answers that make no sense.
- 1:54:54Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 1:54:55Speaker 6: That's why you need Dylan.
- 1:54:57Speaker 1: I would go the opposite. I'd want shoes because he
- 1:55:00Speaker 1: has a general knowledge of most things. You know what
- 1:55:03Speaker 1: I mean?
- 1:55:04Speaker 2: Yeah, pop culture especially.
- 1:55:05Speaker 1: Yeah, even Canik is better than most. I would take him.
- 1:55:11Speaker 1: Try to think of more about at work.
- 1:55:13Speaker 2: That's what I was thinking immediately. Speedball Mike Bailey, I'd
- 1:55:20Speaker 2: put on my team. I feel like he's just a
- 1:55:21Speaker 2: smart dude.
- 1:55:22Speaker 6: Is he going to be barefoot?
- 1:55:23Speaker 1: He thinks he's smart.
- 1:55:24Speaker 2: He might be barefoot.
- 1:55:24Speaker 1: He's not actually smart.
- 1:55:26Speaker 2: Well, then maybe I need that confidence.
- 1:55:30Speaker 1: I would not pick Moose. Holy smokes.
- 1:55:32Speaker 6: Oh, boy.
- 1:55:32Speaker 2: I feel like the Big Show knows a lot of shit.
- 1:55:37Speaker 6: Big Show would be a good one.
- 1:55:38Speaker 1: Big Show, yeah. He's knowledgeable. I don't think who I'd
- 1:55:42Speaker 1: pick at work. I don't think Zig man would be great.
- 1:55:44Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe.
- 1:55:45Speaker 6: Zig's a smart guy.
- 1:55:46Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:55:47Speaker 6: Oh yeah.
- 1:55:47Speaker 2: He's like political and like reads.
- 1:55:50Speaker 1: Yeah. I guess that's true. Or more. He's smarter than
- 1:55:54Speaker 1: your average wrestler. So I think he would suffice. Uh, man.
- 1:55:59Speaker 2: Deanna is a college graduate. I would put Deanna.
- 1:56:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:56:04Speaker 2: Um, college graduate. There's not many of them.
- 1:56:07Speaker 1: Isn't it sad? This is how slim pickings it is
- 1:56:10Speaker 1: of our colleagues. Do you trust to be smart and worldly?
- 1:56:15Speaker 2: Maybe it's a wrestler thing, but you're never talking about
- 1:56:19Speaker 2: real shit. I don't even know. I'm sure that there
- 1:56:23Speaker 2: are people that are very smart.
- 1:56:25Speaker 1: You know why I'd pick Santino? He'd be fun. He'd
- 1:56:30Speaker 1: check both boxes. He'd be entertaining and knowledgeable.
- 1:56:33Speaker 2: You need the people that had a real life job
- 1:56:35Speaker 2: at some point.
- 1:56:36Speaker 1: It would probably help. It would not be me either.
- 1:56:39Speaker 1: I'm not saying I'd be good either, by the way, guys.
- 1:56:40Speaker 2: Somebody that needed to be in the real world and
- 1:56:42Speaker 2: have some sort of grounded something.
- 1:56:45Speaker 1: Tough. Definitely not Moose. Holy smokes.
- 1:56:52Speaker 6: All right.
- 1:56:52Speaker 2: My question here, also from Mike LaPuma. I know you
- 1:56:56Speaker 2: guys always discuss what action figures you played with as
- 1:56:58Speaker 2: a kid, but did you ever play with Hot Wheels
- 1:57:00Speaker 2: or Micro Machines? I played with both and absolutely loved
- 1:57:02Speaker 2: Micro Machines, especially all of their play sets.
- 1:57:06Speaker 6: I'm sure I had some Hot Wheels. I don't recall
- 1:57:10Speaker 6: ever having Micro Machines. The only cars I ever collected
- 1:57:14Speaker 6: were those WCW, those race rods.
- 1:57:17Speaker 1: I didn't have a lot of those, but I collected them, yes.
- 1:57:21Speaker 1: I never played with cars. I have no memories of
- 1:57:23Speaker 1: playing with cars. I'm not a car guy. It's just
- 1:57:27Speaker 1: not part of my life. I guess the only thing
- 1:57:31Speaker 1: I can say as far as playing with, which is
- 1:57:33Speaker 1: a cop-out, is those... Micro Machines, Star Wars heads that
- 1:57:37Speaker 1: opened up to play sets. I loved those and I
- 1:57:41Speaker 1: had those when those were there.
- 1:57:42Speaker 2: Yeah, that counts.
- 1:57:43Speaker 1: That was fun. But they're not even cars. They're like
- 1:57:46Speaker 1: ships and little figures and stuff.
- 1:57:47Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:57:48Speaker 1: That's the brand.
- 1:57:50Speaker 2: I played Hot Wheels a lot, but I certainly was
- 1:57:54Speaker 2: not a collector. I didn't know what I had, but
- 1:57:58Speaker 2: what I loved doing was building tracks. I had a
- 1:58:02Speaker 2: lot of the tracks that you could put together, like Modular.
- 1:58:05Speaker 2: And then I would build... My goal would be to
- 1:58:08Speaker 2: get the car from somewhere on my porch over a loop,
- 1:58:12Speaker 2: all around the thing. I would try to get it
- 1:58:13Speaker 2: to the end of the track by making these tracks.
- 1:58:17Speaker 2: And that, honestly, is one of the things I played
- 1:58:19Speaker 2: the most with as a kid. Even more than my
- 1:58:22Speaker 2: fig feds and my superhero feds, to be honest.
- 1:58:24Speaker 1: Did it get itchy to get them back?
- 1:58:26Speaker 2: No, because that's just strict play. And also... Couldn't even
- 1:58:29Speaker 2: tell you a single, I couldn't even tell you a
- 1:58:32Speaker 2: car that I had.
- 1:58:32Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:58:33Speaker 2: I have no memory of what they were.
- 1:58:34Speaker 1: My buddy could pick me up in his car once
- 1:58:37Speaker 1: a week and I wouldn't even know what car it was.
- 1:58:38Speaker 1: That's how much of a not a car guy I am.
- 1:58:40Speaker 6: Bro, there's sometimes I'm on the road and I get
- 1:58:42Speaker 6: out of the car and I'm like, what car did
- 1:58:44Speaker 6: I rent? Oh, do that all the time.
- 1:58:45Speaker 1: I do that all the time. What's my car?
- 1:58:47Speaker 6: Or I get out of the hotel, what's my car?
- 1:58:50Speaker 6: All the time.
- 1:58:50Speaker 1: You know what I look for when I get a car?
- 1:58:52Speaker 1: If there's trunk space and if I have the right,
- 1:58:55Speaker 1: That's all I care about. That's all I care about.
- 1:58:58Speaker 1: That's all I look for.
- 1:58:59Speaker 2: It's pathetic. I backed up a car and then put
- 1:59:02Speaker 2: it back in and got out of it and got
- 1:59:04Speaker 2: another one because it was the wrong USB.
- 1:59:06Speaker 1: Yeah, right. It's pathetic. All right.
- 1:59:09Speaker 2: All right, we'll go to Good Housekeeping.
- 1:59:13Speaker 1: Good Housekeeping.
- 1:59:28Speaker 6: All right, guys, welcome everyone to some good housekeeping. Check
- 1:59:30Speaker 6: us out on YouTube, youtube.com slash at MajorWPod. The Hasbro
- 1:59:35Speaker 6: hallway from last week is up. And Brian, you did
- 1:59:38Speaker 6: the AAA Kellyanne unboxing.
- 1:59:40Speaker 1: Very, very fun and in-depth look at the entire set graded, guys.
- 1:59:45Speaker 6: I think that's going to do some monster numbers with
- 1:59:47Speaker 6: a good thumb. Hopefully.
- 1:59:47Speaker 1: It's wrestling history, wrestling figure history.
- 1:59:50Speaker 6: And then you guys are filming a vlog this week.
- 1:59:52Speaker 2: We're filming a couple, yes.
- 1:59:54Speaker 1: We should get a couple done. The storm kind of
- 1:59:56Speaker 1: threw everything we were doing for a loop ski here
- 1:59:58Speaker 1: in the Northeast. But plans have been rescheduled, and we're
- 2:00:02Speaker 1: going to get after it.
- 2:00:03Speaker 2: Hasbro Hallway there, broski. $ 58, 000. I wanted $ 100, 000. I think
- 2:00:07Speaker 2: it might get to $ 100, 000 at some point.
- 2:00:08Speaker 1: That's all Chelsea's just re-watching, right? Yeah, I don't think so. Click, click.
- 2:00:13Speaker 6: I will say the Hasbro Hallway, it's, oh, what a
- 2:00:15Speaker 6: work of art. I wish my toy room was like that.
- 2:00:17Speaker 6: My toy room is still a mess. I do love
- 2:00:19Speaker 6: that clip of Sam Roberts, like, evil chuckling. that has
- 2:00:22Speaker 6: a name and you're like evil chuckling and Chelsea's just
- 2:00:25Speaker 6: sitting there like.
- 2:00:28Speaker 2: How many, bro, my algorithm is just Matt and Chelsea.
- 2:00:31Speaker 2: Every interview you guys did, I saw every clip.
- 2:00:34Speaker 1: Did you not stop talking that media day? Like where did,
- 2:00:36Speaker 1: like was this appointment after appointment after appointment?
- 2:00:38Speaker 6: It was legit a 12 plus hour day and it
- 2:00:40Speaker 6: would have been longer but we left the Met game
- 2:00:42Speaker 6: early and then I took every clip and made it
- 2:00:46Speaker 6: a clip. You know, every interview and made it into clips.
- 2:00:48Speaker 6: I'm going to maximize this. This is what being WWE
- 2:00:50Speaker 6: is all about, baby.
- 2:00:52Speaker 2: Actually, I saw a clip where you said that.
- 2:00:54Speaker 6: And there's still more coming. There's still some more coming. Guys, patreon.com

- 2:02:46Speaker 1: It shipped. I don't want to spoil it because I
- 2:02:49Speaker 1: haven't seen the group yet, so let's let that go.
- 2:02:51Speaker 2: I think people in Massachusetts will start getting it tomorrow. Hopefully,
- 2:02:55Speaker 2: the storm didn't screw anything up.
- 2:02:58Speaker 1: It definitely did. Give us some grace, we should say.
- 2:03:03Speaker 6: And then, of course, the ultimate gift, if you're a member,
- 2:03:07Speaker 6: these are the months to be a member. You have
- 2:03:09Speaker 6: to be a member every month and a quarter.
- 2:03:11Speaker 2: Yep. All right, so Beetlejuice won by a landslide.
- 2:03:15Speaker 6: Yes. D, get working, baby.
- 2:03:17Speaker 1: Wow.
- 2:03:17Speaker 2: Stargate number two, by the way. People in the comments
- 2:03:21Speaker 2: are mad that I keep saying Stargate.
- 2:03:23Speaker 1: Why? I mean, I'm mad. I don't want to watch it.
- 2:03:26Speaker 6: I don't want to watch it either.
- 2:03:27Speaker 2: Well, maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised, guys.

- 2:04:01Speaker 6: And then every other week from the vault. What's from
- 2:04:03Speaker 6: the vault, Mark?
- 2:04:06Speaker 2: Well, last week we continued with the.
- 2:04:10Speaker 2: I got fired Q & A, I believe.
- 2:04:13Speaker 6: It's a really good.
- 2:04:14Speaker 1: I was listening to it. It's really good.
- 2:04:16Speaker 6: We're really candid on that.
- 2:04:17Speaker 1: I was going to listen, and I'm like, eh, we
- 2:04:19Speaker 1: probably said some things we shouldn't have said, and I'm
- 2:04:20Speaker 1: going to just. We definitely do. I'm just going to
- 2:04:22Speaker 1: pretend like it didn't happen.
- 2:04:23Speaker 4: Move on.
- 2:04:23Speaker 1: We definitely do, but it's. That guy was cool. He
- 2:04:26Speaker 1: probably forgot.
- 2:04:27Speaker 2: I don't know if NDM looked it up, but he
- 2:04:29Speaker 2: said the Jack Swagger move was like a clothesline to
- 2:04:31Speaker 2: the side of his head.
- 2:04:32Speaker 6: Did you watch? Oh, I think he's just looking at
- 2:04:35Speaker 6: the card, because that's what.
- 2:04:36Speaker 1: It looks like.
- 2:04:37Speaker 2: Yeah, did you watch it? Also, Chris, I think you
- 2:04:41Speaker 2: might need to talk to Dawkins here.
- 2:04:42Speaker 1: Oh, get Dawkins to get it official?
- 2:04:43Speaker 6: Own the Hasbro hallway?
- 2:04:45Speaker 2: Get him on the line.
- 2:04:46Speaker 6: I don't think you'll have to do anything. And then
- 2:04:48Speaker 6: I could have the frame photo up there. I might
- 2:04:55Speaker 6: do it for shits and giggles.
- 2:04:56Speaker 2: Yeah, you just own trademarks for the decoration.
- 2:04:58Speaker 6: Yeah, for the Hasbro hallway.
- 2:05:00Speaker 2: I have video games for decoration and trademarks for decoration.
- 2:05:03Speaker 2: I don't plan on using them. He said he's got
- 2:05:06Speaker 2: a link.
- 2:05:07Speaker 6: Can we get it in here? Can we watch it?
- 2:05:12Speaker 1: Is this going to be a really terrible, probably unnecessary
- 2:05:15Speaker 1: stiff Macardona clothesline?
- 2:05:17Speaker 6: I'm looking at this photo. It's a left. I wouldn't
- 2:05:20Speaker 6: do a left-handed clothesline.
- 2:05:22Speaker 1: Shades of Rhino. Shades of Terrence Gurin. Do we have
- 2:05:27Speaker 1: the link?
- 2:05:27Speaker 2: Can you send me on Facebook a clipped clip of that?
- 2:05:33Speaker 6: Bro, not everyone knows how to edit YouTube videos.
- 2:05:36Speaker 1: I would have no idea how to do.
- 2:05:37Speaker 7: That, Mark.
- 2:05:38Speaker 6: Yeah, he said 1 minute 30-ish.
- 2:05:39Speaker 2: You don't know how to screen grab your phone?
- 2:05:41Speaker 1: No, I don't, actually.
- 2:05:42Speaker 6: And he could be on a computer. Just go to.
- 2:05:46Speaker 2: Well, let's see what he has. And if you don't,
- 2:05:48Speaker 2: just send me the link, and we'll figure it out.
- 2:05:49Speaker 2: All right, keep going.
- 2:05:50Speaker 1: Any plugs for this weekend, guys? Well, Mark is back.
- 2:05:55Speaker 1: At KNS Sportatorium. Confirmed from Ken he would like to
- 2:05:58Speaker 1: do it Thursday. I think he did say that because
- 2:06:00Speaker 1: he has work. Okay. So you do have to get here.
- 2:06:02Speaker 2: Thursday night.
- 2:06:03Speaker 1: Thursday night. No, Thursday afternoon and then I think we
- 2:06:07Speaker 1: can go maybe do the other one. Okay, cool. Yeah.
- 2:06:11Speaker 2: And then this weekend I'll be in outside of Cincinnati.
- 2:06:15Speaker 2: I believe it's in, I'm flying into Cincinnati but it's
- 2:06:18Speaker 2: in Kentucky so I don't know where it is.
- 2:06:19Speaker 1: Well, the Cincinnati airport is in Kentucky. We talk about
- 2:06:21Speaker 1: it all the time. It's very strange. I'm off though.
- 2:06:24Speaker 1: I'm going. gratefully off being a parent. McKenzie's got a
- 2:06:27Speaker 1: flag football game I'm excited about, so there's that. I'm
- 2:06:32Speaker 1: an injured man still, so.
- 2:06:34Speaker 6: You know what? Mark, you won't believe it, but this
- 2:06:37Speaker 6: weekend I'm being inducted into the Calhoun High School Athletics
- 2:06:42Speaker 6: Hall of Fame.
- 2:06:43Speaker 1: Are you joining via satellite or are you coming?
- 2:06:46Speaker 6: I'm going to go. I'm going to go.
- 2:06:47Speaker 1: I can't even. This is like.
- 2:06:50Speaker 6: Calhoun High School? The Athletics Hall of Fame.
- 2:06:58Speaker 1: I'm disgusted.
- 2:07:00Speaker 2: What is Kowloon High School?
- 2:07:01Speaker 6: The high school I went to, Mark. Oh.
- 2:07:08Speaker 1: Oh.
- 2:07:10Speaker 2: Okay, that's way better.
- 2:07:11Speaker 1: I was a three-year starter on my varsity football team.
- 2:07:15Speaker 1: Captain of the team, all-conference linebacker. Captain of the wrestling team,
- 2:07:20Speaker 1: all-conference wrestler.
- 2:07:21Speaker 6: I was a two-time WTW world champion.
- 2:07:24Speaker 1: And I played baseball, varsity baseball. I'm a two-time WWE
- 2:07:28Speaker 1: tag team champion, a four-time team, and this has never
- 2:07:31Speaker 1: been discussed with my high school for some reason.
- 2:07:32Speaker 2: They probably don't even know.
- 2:07:33Speaker 6: Matt Cardona, seventh string.
- 2:07:36Speaker 1: backup on the wrestling team hey guys let's let's be
- 2:07:39Speaker 1: honest was i on the wrestling team yes was i
- 2:07:42Speaker 1: the best no was i the worst no was i
- 2:07:45Speaker 1: average sure did i take it seriously no i was
- 2:07:48Speaker 1: doing tilt the world head scissors at my favorite story
- 2:07:52Speaker 1: i told it before i don't give a fuck i
- 2:07:55Speaker 1: went to college I got a partial scholarship to wrestle
- 2:07:58Speaker 1: in Springfield so when you're good at amateur wrestling in
- 2:08:02Speaker 1: Long Island back then it was in like the newspaper
- 2:08:05Speaker 1: like the rankings and stuff the weight class so I
- 2:08:07Speaker 1: knew all the good guys names and stuff and who
- 2:08:08Speaker 1: they were so then when I got there I met
- 2:08:11Speaker 1: this other kid who was playing football but he also
- 2:08:13Speaker 1: wrestled in Long Island his name was Dan Bowker and
- 2:08:14Speaker 1: I'm like oh I know you and I had just
- 2:08:16Speaker 1: met Matt Cardona at pro wrestling school And I'm like,
- 2:08:20Speaker 1: I just met this kid, Matt, at my wrestling school.
- 2:08:23Speaker 1: He goes, he told me he was a wrestler on
- 2:08:24Speaker 1: the wrestling team too, but I didn't know who he was.
- 2:08:26Speaker 1: He goes, yeah, bro, him and this other kid would
- 2:08:28Speaker 1: be in the back doing stone cold stunners to each
- 2:08:29Speaker 1: other while the rest of us were actually trying.
- 2:08:32Speaker 6: That is true. I love Dan Bowker. Dan Bowker also
- 2:08:36Speaker 6: is mad at me because I fired him from WTW
- 2:08:38Speaker 6: for being unprofessional.
- 2:08:40Speaker 1: There you go. It all checks out after all these years.
- 2:08:44Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm just going to Long Island for one day,
- 2:08:46Speaker 6: do the Hall of Fame. We're actually going to celebrate
- 2:08:48Speaker 6: my dad's birthday there. It's a My Hero.
- 2:08:50Speaker 1: Happy birthday, Bob.
- 2:08:50Speaker 6: Bro, when you said Calhoun, I thought you meant- Are
- 2:08:53Speaker 6: you going to come to the flag football game, bro?
- 2:08:56Speaker 6: What's that?
- 2:08:57Speaker 2: I thought you meant Calhoun like the restaurant in Boston.
- 2:09:02Speaker 1: No, Calhoun and Calhoon.
- 2:09:05Speaker 2: Okay, I didn't- Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 2:09:06Speaker 1: Calhoon.
- 2:09:07Speaker 2: I'm like, what is Andy got going on in Boston?
- 2:09:10Speaker 6: Hey, did they send you that link or what?
- 2:09:12Speaker 1: Oh, here we go.
- 2:09:13Speaker 2: Okay, guys, I got the video, the mystery. What is
- 2:09:17Speaker 2: Matt doing here? I'm going to show you the video.
- 2:09:20Speaker 1: Do we have a date and time on this?
- 2:09:21Speaker 6: Do we have a date and time on this?
- 2:09:24Speaker 2: I do not, but I want to thank Nathan Matthews
- 2:09:30Speaker 2: for sending this.
- 2:09:31Speaker 6: He found that pretty fast.
- 2:09:33Speaker 2: He said, quote, I got the link, so I'm not
- 2:09:35Speaker 2: really sure what he meant by that.
- 2:09:36Speaker 1: Which is crazy because if you put Zack Ryder botch
- 2:09:38Speaker 1: in Google, a lot of stuff comes up. They got this.
- 2:09:42Speaker 1: That's pretty impressive.
- 2:09:45Speaker 2: Okay. All right. It's not the best quality, but I'm
- 2:09:47Speaker 2: sure you could see it kind of here.
- 2:09:49Speaker 6: Okay.
- 2:09:50Speaker 1: Okay. Okay.
- 2:09:51Speaker 2: Here we go. Yep.
- 2:09:56Speaker 6: It's a forearm. Big flying forearm. Duck at the close line.
- 2:09:58Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 2:10:00Speaker 6: So it's like a.
- 2:10:00Speaker 1: That's what I thought it was. It's like a Tito...
- 2:10:02Speaker 1: A weird quick burrito, flying burrito.
- 2:10:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:10:05Speaker 6: But it's like when it's... The shot is probably... Okay.
- 2:10:09Speaker 6: That's all it is. Let's play that again. Let me see.
- 2:10:11Speaker 6: It's just a regular burrito, but.
- 2:10:12Speaker 2: You hit him on the top of the head, but
- 2:10:14Speaker 2: there's like.
- 2:10:16Speaker 1: Man, that photo's wild. That caught that like... Right? Yeah.
- 2:10:21Speaker 1: It doesn't even look weird or botched or anything. It's
- 2:10:23Speaker 1: post-contact and your arms are just flailing and it just
- 2:10:26Speaker 1: kind of.
- 2:10:28Speaker 1: Interesting.
- 2:10:29Speaker 6: Well, now we know.
- 2:10:30Speaker 1: Now we know.
- 2:10:31Speaker 6: Still on my list of hated cards.
- 2:10:33Speaker 1: Terrible trading cards. Yeah. All right.
- 2:10:37Speaker 2: All right, that is officially it.
- 2:10:40Speaker 6: Oh, man.
- 2:10:40Speaker 1: Three, two, one. We're out of time.
- 2:10:44Speaker 4: One, two, three. I'll be back, Jack.
