- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know, all right, just say
- 0:03Speaker 1: after six o'clock on this Wednesday morning, man, that sun
- 0:06Speaker 1: came up early.
- 0:06Speaker 2: It was throwing me off.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Driving in me so happy though you don't know the
- 0:10Speaker 3: joy I felt.
- 0:10Speaker 2: I come double checking the time, like am I running late?
- 0:13Speaker 1: What is happening is very sunny out anyway, Good morning,
- 0:16Speaker 1: thanks for being here.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Ricky's got those three things.
- 0:18Speaker 3: The FDA has warned of fake ozempic found in the
- 0:22Speaker 3: US supply chain, So this is a huge deal.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Guys.
- 0:24Speaker 3: You got to make sure if you are taking ozepic
- 0:26Speaker 3: for whatever reason, that you are not taking anything that's fake.
- 0:30Speaker 3: The Food and Drug Administration is urging patients and doctors
- 0:32Speaker 3: to check their ozepic prescriptions after they found several hundred
- 0:36Speaker 3: units of fake versions of the same makers who make
- 0:40Speaker 3: ozempic and we go v.
- 0:43Speaker 4: They said that it was.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Reported to the FDN April third that a counterfeit one
- 0:46Speaker 3: milligram injections were being distributed in the US supply chain
- 0:50Speaker 3: labeled with lot numbers PAR three six two. So please
- 0:55Speaker 3: just check with your doctors make sure that everything is safe.
- 0:59Speaker 3: Ellen Pompei is making quite the noise online because she
- 1:04Speaker 3: said that she is never leaving Grey's Anatomy for a
- 1:07Speaker 3: very specific reason. So she doesn't think it's fair for
- 1:10Speaker 3: others to make money off of all of her hard work.
- 1:13Speaker 3: And it seems like she doesn't want to let people
- 1:15Speaker 3: down either. So that's the one part that no one's
- 1:17Speaker 3: really talking about. Everyone's really focused on the fact that
- 1:19Speaker 3: she was in an interview and she said, quote, if
- 1:22Speaker 3: I were to walk away completely, everybody gets to make
- 1:25Speaker 3: money off the hard work that I've done for twenty years.
- 1:28Speaker 4: And I wouldn't make any money.
- 1:30Speaker 3: To me, it doesn't make any sense that everybody else
- 1:32Speaker 3: gets to profit off of my hard work. That's the
- 1:34Speaker 3: one everyone's focused on because they think she sounds entitled there.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I think the woman's been the face of Grey's Anatomy
- 1:41Speaker 3: for decades, and I get what she says.
- 1:43Speaker 1: I don't think she's mad at any of her co
- 1:44Speaker 1: stars or anything. I think she just wishes she owned
- 1:46Speaker 1: a piece of the show.
- 1:47Speaker 2: That makes sense.
- 1:48Speaker 3: She is the face of it, so like I understand
- 1:50Speaker 3: that she did follow it up with a level of gratitude,
- 1:53Speaker 3: and she said that she doesn't want to let anybody
- 1:56Speaker 3: down by saying quote, emotionally, the show means.
- 1:58Speaker 4: A lot to people, which is very true.
- 2:00Speaker 3: It's been around for so long, it's like a comfort
- 2:02Speaker 3: show for a lot of people. I think she's just
- 2:04Speaker 3: getting a bad, bad look right now, and people are
- 2:07Speaker 3: set with her for the fact that she's happy and
- 2:09Speaker 3: proud of what she's created, but doesn't own Eddie.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I hate when people, when things are technology contact, a
- 2:14Speaker 1: piece of an interview, a piece of a conversation is
- 2:16Speaker 1: taken and just boiled down to one sentence.
- 2:18Speaker 3: We did hear your whole story about the one thing
- 2:20Speaker 3: that take it out of gum On all the time.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Go back and listen to Ricky Zachamanno in the morning
- 2:25Speaker 3: our podcast and you will hear that from last week.
- 2:29Speaker 3: The annual Main Street Festival is going to return to
- 2:32Speaker 3: downtown Franklin. It's happening Saturday, April twenty sixth and Sunday,
- 2:35Speaker 3: April twenty seventh to celebrate the arts and culture of
- 2:38Speaker 3: Williamson County.
- 2:39Speaker 4: The vessel is gonna.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Have over one hundred and fifty art and craft vendors.
- 2:43Speaker 3: There's gonna be food and beverages from local favorites, live music,
- 2:47Speaker 3: and performances.
- 2:48Speaker 4: One of the cool things about this too, is that.
- 2:50Speaker 3: You get to be part of like art installations, so
- 2:52Speaker 3: you can create things with your neighbors and the people
- 2:55Speaker 3: that live in the community with you, which is really
- 2:57Speaker 3: really cool. So, like I said, happening April twenty six
- 2:59Speaker 3: and twenty seventh, I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the
- 3:02Speaker 3: three things you need to know.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Thank you, Ricky. Let's get back into the music with
- 3:06Speaker 1: Justin Bieber. Shaboozy and Miles Smith are both on the way,
- 3:08Speaker 1: and don't forget my most of festival passes on the
- 3:11Speaker 1: way ten minutes. You can win those first caller of
- 3:13Speaker 1: the day, they are yours on the river.
- 3:15Speaker 5: Second in the morning, thoroughly.
- 3:18Speaker 3: In Mountain Juliet. Good morning, we are halfway through the week.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Welcome to one O seven five of the River.
- 3:24Speaker 6: How you feeling I am feeling how about you?
- 3:27Speaker 3: I'm feeling great. The sun was shining as I was
- 3:29Speaker 3: driving into work. My sinuses have been bothered.
- 3:32Speaker 2: I don't want to say we're feeling too good. We're
- 3:33Speaker 2: all three complaining of our allergies in here, but.
- 3:35Speaker 3: I kind of feel like that's just part of life now, right, Yes, exactly.
- 3:40Speaker 7: Lee, did you take your allergy pill this morning?
- 3:42Speaker 5: I absolutely did.
- 3:44Speaker 8: Is this that Yeah, Hi, Hi, how are you?
- 3:47Speaker 5: I met you? It actually rand opening.
- 3:50Speaker 7: Oh yeah, the Ashley Home Store.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Did you buy any ally?
- 3:55Speaker 6: I worked there?
- 3:56Speaker 2: Oh? So you get an employee discount.
- 3:59Speaker 7: Oh, I'm using and the next time her employee discount.
- 4:03Speaker 2: I don't think that's how it works.
- 4:04Speaker 7: Yeah, when your friends you can use their employee discounts.
- 4:07Speaker 4: Also, Zach, exactly what do you need furniture for?
- 4:11Speaker 2: Well, you never know.
- 4:11Speaker 9: When you need a new mattress. You have to replace
- 4:13Speaker 9: it every eight years. I've had mine for five. We're
- 4:15Speaker 9: coming up. Yes see, Lee's all about it. She's gonna
- 4:19Speaker 9: let me use our discount and everything.
- 4:21Speaker 3: You got it as long as Lee is okay with this,
- 4:24Speaker 3: considering you didn't actually ask Lee if you could, you
- 4:28Speaker 3: kind of told her. But anyways, as long as you're
- 4:30Speaker 3: good with it, then that's good.
- 4:31Speaker 6: I am perfect.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Wow, that's very nice of you. Hey, you want to
- 4:35Speaker 2: go to Mamosa Festival.
- 4:37Speaker 4: Absolutely all right.
- 4:38Speaker 1: You're the first caller of the day, so you are in.
- 4:40Speaker 1: You have a pair of passes. It's happening May nineteenth,
- 4:42Speaker 1: the Riverfront Park.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Congratulations, Lee, Thank you you too.
- 4:47Speaker 5: Love.
- 4:47Speaker 4: Hang on the line so we can get your info.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Okay, absolutely, her phone is a little choppy, but you know,
- 4:52Speaker 1: I don't want to bring it up to her because
- 4:53Speaker 1: there's not much you can do about it.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Thank you for letting us all know the thing that
- 4:57Speaker 4: we heard.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I just want everyone to know. Hope, it's not
- 5:00Speaker 2: your radio. It was Lee's phone.
- 5:02Speaker 7: And Gussie Lee had Ashley homestore apparently.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Yeah, or walk into Annie Ashley, tell them you are
- 5:07Speaker 1: Lee and you work there, and you just go.
- 5:10Speaker 2: I'm sure that's how it works. More of those passes tomorrow.
- 5:12Speaker 5: Your new companion to that morning copy, Ricky, Zach and
- 5:17Speaker 5: Mennow in the morning.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Did you ever decide on a font? The last we
- 5:20Speaker 2: left this, you were looking for funds.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I yeah, I did something that I wanted but also
- 5:26Speaker 3: kind of for my mom. And now I'm kind of
- 5:28Speaker 3: thinking that she's gonna hate it.
- 5:30Speaker 9: Oh, try to do a kind gesture for your mother
- 5:33Speaker 9: and she's not gonna be happy about it.
- 5:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:35Speaker 3: I mean it was for me though, too, Like I
- 5:37Speaker 3: wanted to do this and I've been thinking about.
- 5:39Speaker 4: It for a little while, okay, and then I was like, oh.
- 5:41Speaker 2: And also like for my mom, I thought it was
- 5:43Speaker 2: very sweet. I didn't realize she was gonna hate it.
- 5:45Speaker 4: I think she's gonna hate it.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Oh no, I'll explain, like what it is that I
- 5:50Speaker 3: did that Now I may end up recredit.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Right after this song, Ricky will tell the story on
- 5:56Speaker 1: the River.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Ricky zach And in the morning one seven five the River.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Right before that song, Ricky said she did something for
- 6:04Speaker 1: herself but also for her mom.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Uh, and she thinks her mom might hate it. Yeah,
- 6:09Speaker 2: she's disappointing.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:11Speaker 3: So I I have a bunch of tattoos and I'm
- 6:14Speaker 3: in this phase where I'm just getting even more and
- 6:17Speaker 3: more because I want to do a full sleeve on
- 6:19Speaker 3: my left arm. And there is this one phrase that
- 6:23Speaker 3: my mom has always said to me my entire life, ever.
- 6:25Speaker 4: Since I was little.
- 6:26Speaker 3: She still texts it to me sometimes, and I thought, oh,
- 6:29Speaker 3: I want to add that.
- 6:30Speaker 4: To my arm sleeve.
- 6:32Speaker 7: What is the phrase?
- 6:33Speaker 4: It's so she.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Always would say to me when I was little, before
- 6:36Speaker 3: I went to bed, don't forget to meet me in
- 6:38Speaker 3: my dreams.
- 6:39Speaker 2: That is so sweet.
- 6:40Speaker 7: And we were we were sweet, kind of creepy, we
- 6:42Speaker 7: weren't really sweet.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Going over fond to options, so you can do this
- 6:45Speaker 1: just right. You finally decided on a.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Fond Yes, I finally decided on a fond and I
- 6:49Speaker 3: got it a little over a week ago. I got
- 6:51Speaker 3: it done at Curve Beauty.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Love them.
- 6:53Speaker 3: If you ever want fine line tattoos, go to Curve
- 6:56Speaker 3: Beauty and I got it done. I haven't told my
- 7:00Speaker 3: mom yet that I got it done.
- 7:02Speaker 4: What, because I'm not sure if she's gonna like it
- 7:05Speaker 4: or not.
- 7:05Speaker 3: She's not huge on tattoos. So this is why I'm saying.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I got it for me because I wanted it. But
- 7:11Speaker 3: I also thought, like, oh, this is a sweet gesture.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Maybe my mom will stop hating tattoos.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Can we call her right now? Can we call her
- 7:17Speaker 2: live on the air?
- 7:17Speaker 3: I don't know that she'll answer, honestly, I think we
- 7:20Speaker 3: should try. I don't think she's gonna answer.
- 7:22Speaker 2: But only out.
- 7:24Speaker 3: But I haven't showed her, and I kind of want
- 7:26Speaker 3: to not tell her anything about it and see if
- 7:28Speaker 3: she notices. I'm going home in July and I'm kind
- 7:32Speaker 3: of want to see if she notices that I have it.
- 7:33Speaker 4: I'll be wearing shorter sleeves.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Scale one to ten. If you showed up with just
- 7:38Speaker 1: a new tattoo versus this tattoo, which is meaningful because
- 7:41Speaker 1: it's you know, a tribute to her.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Like what what would she be more upset about. She's
- 7:45Speaker 2: gonna she's gonna hate this less than just a random tattoo.
- 7:48Speaker 3: That's kind of what I'm hoping, but I'm not one
- 7:50Speaker 3: hundred percent sure. Every time I show up with new tattoos,
- 7:53Speaker 3: it's always Ricky Morgan another one every single time.
- 7:56Speaker 9: Okay, that's the thing though, I feel like you have
- 7:58Speaker 9: to tell her before July, Like you can't just let
- 8:00Speaker 9: it sit there and tell.
- 8:02Speaker 7: July why, because you got to.
- 8:05Speaker 9: Like slowly break her into the idea that you got
- 8:08Speaker 9: the tattoo in her honor.
- 8:09Speaker 7: I feel like it's a shock factor of like, oh.
- 8:11Speaker 9: My god, you got another one versus like, hey, I'm
- 8:14Speaker 9: thinking about going to get this one in honor of you,
- 8:16Speaker 9: even though you already have it.
- 8:18Speaker 4: So you want me to lie to my mother? Absolutely,
- 8:21Speaker 4: she's gonna know I'm lying.
- 8:22Speaker 2: I think you should get more before you see her.
- 8:25Speaker 4: So this is the thing.
- 8:26Speaker 3: She's gonna hate my hand tattoos that I got because
- 8:28Speaker 3: I got finger tattoos done.
- 8:30Speaker 4: She's gonna hate them. Yea, why the hands? Why did
- 8:32Speaker 4: you have to do that? I don't understand. So I
- 8:34Speaker 4: was kind of hoping that then I could be like,
- 8:36Speaker 4: but I got this one for you.
- 8:39Speaker 2: This is what I was gonna say. Get more you want.
- 8:41Speaker 2: You said you want to get a sleeve.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Start filling up that arm so that you know she's
- 8:45Speaker 1: super disappointed. You can show her the one that's for
- 8:47Speaker 1: her and she'll be less disappointed.
- 8:49Speaker 8: Well.
- 8:49Speaker 3: See, I'm not feeling very confident in it at all,
- 8:52Speaker 3: And I think the closer we get to the time
- 8:55Speaker 3: that I'm gonna see her in person, I'm getting less
- 8:56Speaker 3: and less confident about the fact that she's gonna be
- 8:58Speaker 3: okay with it.
- 8:59Speaker 9: I feel like, just you gotta rep the band aid off.
- 9:01Speaker 9: You gotta do it before you see her in person.
- 9:03Speaker 3: I guess, but I don't know if it has the
- 9:05Speaker 3: same effect. If I called her up and I'm like, hey,
- 9:08Speaker 3: I got a tattoo for you.
- 9:09Speaker 2: I'd forget about the arm one. As a parent, I
- 9:11Speaker 2: think the hand one is what you have to worry about.
- 9:13Speaker 3: I don't.
- 9:15Speaker 4: Know is gonna hate it.
- 9:17Speaker 3: She's gonna hate it, and it's like right next to
- 9:19Speaker 3: my engagement ring, which she loves, and she's gonna be like,
- 9:22Speaker 3: now I can see or there's tattoos on your hands
- 9:24Speaker 3: and not the engagement ring.
- 9:25Speaker 4: Why would you want to ruin it?
- 9:26Speaker 7: Like, why are you making her voice sound like that.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Doesn't sound like that in her life at all.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Best of.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Thanks, I'm getting more and more nervous.
- 9:36Speaker 5: Three things you need to know?
- 9:38Speaker 1: All right, all right, seven o five on this Wednesday morning, Rick,
- 9:40Speaker 1: He's got those three things.
- 9:42Speaker 3: People think that Kesha's calling out Katy Perry on social media,
- 9:45Speaker 3: which she would be one of the slew of people
- 9:48Speaker 3: who are okay, stick with me here.
- 9:51Speaker 4: After Katy Perry went into orbit on the space x.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Flight mini orbit.
- 9:55Speaker 4: I mean it's still orbit.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Like we don't have to think it's cool or that
- 9:59Speaker 3: it's a good idea, but it's still orbit. So she
- 10:02Speaker 3: went into orbit with SpaceX Flight with five other women.
- 10:05Speaker 3: A lot of people have their thoughts on it, like
- 10:07Speaker 3: we just said, lots of thoughts, including Wendy's the fast
- 10:11Speaker 3: food chain. They had responded to a pop culture account
- 10:17Speaker 3: pop Crave that tweeted out saying Katy Perry has returned
- 10:20Speaker 3: from space. So when they came back down to Earth,
- 10:23Speaker 3: she was like, hey, it all worked out fine. To
- 10:25Speaker 3: read they returned to earth. Wendy's account responded, quote, can
- 10:29Speaker 3: we send her back, so now sorry. Now, Kesha has
- 10:36Speaker 3: posted a picture of her drinking a Wendy's Frosty on
- 10:39Speaker 3: her socials, which has everybody thinking that she's also calling
- 10:44Speaker 3: out Katy Perry, which would make sense considering that Katy
- 10:47Speaker 3: Perry has worked with doctor Luke, who is not a
- 10:51Speaker 3: good person. So this all is becoming quite the web
- 10:57Speaker 3: of drama and a lot of going on. But I
- 11:01Speaker 3: just personally love the idea of Wendy's going after people.
- 11:07Speaker 2: It's so unexpected.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Wendy's, who makes our Frosty's, is going after Katie Perry
- 11:13Speaker 3: and asking if we could send her back to space.
- 11:17Speaker 4: So this is all over the internet right now.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Obviously you can find a lot of it on Kesha's
- 11:23Speaker 3: Instagram and social media and also on Popcrave and Wendy's
- 11:28Speaker 3: TikTok has a new trend that I can fully get behind.
- 11:31Speaker 3: And I was already doing it without knowing that it
- 11:33Speaker 3: could be a trend. But a TikToker has made eating
- 11:37Speaker 3: frosting out of.
- 11:37Speaker 4: A tube a trend.
- 11:40Speaker 3: So this went viral last month for posting a video
- 11:43Speaker 3: of herself eating bright blue funfetti frosting. In the video,
- 11:47Speaker 3: she said it's like yogurt, but unhealthy, very unhealthy. Now
- 11:50Speaker 3: that clip has over eleven million views, and apparently funfetti
- 11:54Speaker 3: frosting is flying off the shelves.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Really everybody's going for it.
- 11:58Speaker 3: I do want to say eating frosting is okay in moderation.
- 12:03Speaker 4: I do it myself. I love frost.
- 12:06Speaker 2: How often are you having a spoonful of frost?
- 12:08Speaker 4: Not that often?
- 12:10Speaker 3: Yes, everybody deserves a little. Don't eat the full container,
- 12:13Speaker 3: obviously in one sitting. You don't need that much sugar
- 12:15Speaker 3: in your life. But eating it every so often not
- 12:17Speaker 3: a big deal. It also lasts a while, so you know,
- 12:20Speaker 3: just keep it in your in your cabinet and eat
- 12:22Speaker 3: it whenever you want. Now it's trendy to eat it.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Kevin's so upset about this. I'm so hyped about it.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Eat your frosting and the shelby bottoms. That Nature play
- 12:33Speaker 3: area has reopened with new features so after a five
- 12:36Speaker 3: month closure, they have new additions including a kid sized
- 12:39Speaker 3: beaver dam, tree, trunk ballance, balance beams, climbing logs.
- 12:43Speaker 4: There's a new shade pavilion that's adjacent to the play area,
- 12:46Speaker 4: all new stuff. It looks great.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Go check it out, bring your kids, especially as it's
- 12:50Speaker 3: starting to get nicer out. The sun is shining right now.
- 12:53Speaker 3: I could see it outside. It's making me so happy.
- 12:55Speaker 3: So go check out Shelby Bottoms new Nature play Area.
- 12:58Speaker 3: I'm Rickie Sanchez and the are the three things you
- 13:00Speaker 3: need to know.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Thank you, Ricky, And I didn't mean to shade you
- 13:03Speaker 1: about the frosting meal you want.
- 13:05Speaker 3: I'm still gonna eat my frosting and happiness, pure sugar.
- 13:08Speaker 4: Let me have the little things that make me happy
- 13:11Speaker 4: in this life.
- 13:12Speaker 2: You keep your frosting. Zack's Fax.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Next, right after Pink Pony Club, We're gonna learn something
- 13:16Speaker 1: together on the river.
- 13:18Speaker 5: The river Picky Zach making his.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Way to microphone number three at Zach Wood word. It's
- 13:24Speaker 1: one O seven five the river, Time for Zax Fax.
- 13:26Speaker 9: Did you guys know that seals can get seasick if
- 13:29Speaker 9: you put them on a boat. How apparently they rely
- 13:32Speaker 9: very much like humans on their ears for their inner balance,
- 13:35Speaker 9: and so if you put them on a boat, then
- 13:37Speaker 9: they can get seasick.
- 13:38Speaker 7: They can like survive in water and on land, but
- 13:40Speaker 7: a boat will make them seasick.
- 13:42Speaker 9: Really, I wonder if they can take dramamine.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Zach, your best seal impression. Go oh, I knew he
- 13:49Speaker 2: would do it.
- 13:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I knew too. It's actually not a bad.
- 13:53Speaker 7: Impression, thank you. And that's your fact of the day.
- 13:55Speaker 4: It'd be a lot of dramamine. They're heavy, they.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Are whoa, whoa, whoa. It's not body shaving of seals.
- 14:02Speaker 5: My god, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 14:05Speaker 3: And I want to know what the craziest thing you
- 14:09Speaker 3: put on your wedding registry was that someone actually bought
- 14:12Speaker 3: for you.
- 14:13Speaker 9: Oh, I feel like I would be a bridezilla and
- 14:16Speaker 9: definitely put so many expensive things you will just to
- 14:19Speaker 9: see if.
- 14:19Speaker 7: You'll buy it.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Yes you will.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine seven. Zak is
- 14:23Speaker 1: not to be trusted with the registry.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Well, Zach's not the only one, because I found this
- 14:27Speaker 3: on TikTok and some of the responses, Oh.
- 14:30Speaker 4: We're wild guys. Okay, blow your mind.
- 14:33Speaker 2: I want you to run those down for us.
- 14:35Speaker 1: And yes, we'd like to hear from you if you
- 14:36Speaker 1: have an example six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine
- 14:39Speaker 1: seven the craziest thing you put on a registry that
- 14:41Speaker 1: somebody actually ended up buying, Let us know.
- 14:43Speaker 2: We want to hear it's the river one seven five
- 14:45Speaker 2: the River.
- 14:46Speaker 5: Nicky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 14:49Speaker 4: Is it Laila or Lila Lila Lilah in Nashville on
- 14:52Speaker 4: the line.
- 14:52Speaker 3: You want to talk about your mom which she had
- 14:55Speaker 3: on her wedding registry that she got as a gift.
- 14:58Speaker 6: Yes, my mom got a blow dryer for her wedding.
- 15:03Speaker 7: One hundred and fifty dollars blow dryer.
- 15:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I hope she still has it. That's an expensive
- 15:08Speaker 4: blow dryer.
- 15:09Speaker 7: We get back, and.
- 15:11Speaker 2: That's the way to nice job.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I don't you know you, guys, I never I only
- 15:17Speaker 1: have ever once in my life bought a blow dryer.
- 15:20Speaker 2: How expensive is an expensive one? What's an average one?
- 15:22Speaker 4: That's an expensive one?
- 15:23Speaker 3: One hundred and fifty dollars is like an expensive blow
- 15:25Speaker 3: dryer I.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Buy my cheek. Yeah, oh okay, see I just looked
- 15:29Speaker 2: it up. There's some dice in.
- 15:31Speaker 4: Oh, don't get me started on the dice. And I
- 15:33Speaker 4: want it so bad.
- 15:34Speaker 2: It's like four dollars. I want it so bad, Kevin, Okay,
- 15:37Speaker 2: put it on your registry. Thank you guys for calling.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Appreciate it.
- 15:40Speaker 5: Bye bye, guys.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Have a great day.
- 15:43Speaker 3: There are a lot of other ones off of this
- 15:45Speaker 3: because I got this from a TikTok that I saw,
- 15:47Speaker 3: and the comments that people put on this were just genius.
- 15:51Speaker 2: What did they get? What did they get?
- 15:53Speaker 4: Like, truly genius.
- 15:54Speaker 3: This person said, my husband added a hot dog roller
- 15:57Speaker 3: the ones that you see in gas stations, and someone
- 15:59Speaker 3: bought it. They bring it to all the barbecues and
- 16:01Speaker 3: it's a hit.
- 16:02Speaker 7: That's like my dream come true.
- 16:03Speaker 2: That's pretty cool.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Another person said that their husband went scanner crazy and scanned.
- 16:08Speaker 4: A tub of toothpaste, like a tube of toothpaste.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Everyone added it to their gifts, so they had toothpaste
- 16:14Speaker 3: for over a year.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Oh, very smart.
- 16:17Speaker 9: That's a smart way to do it. Do all of
- 16:19Speaker 9: your household items, like you need paper, towels, toothpaste, all
- 16:22Speaker 9: of these things, and then you're just stocked up for
- 16:24Speaker 9: a year.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Yeah, one hundred percent, super genius. A lot of people
- 16:27Speaker 3: added different lego sets that like are expensive lego sets, okay,
- 16:31Speaker 3: and they ended up buying because they like to build
- 16:33Speaker 3: legos together as a couple.
- 16:35Speaker 4: An outdoor pizza oven.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Oh yeah, are good.
- 16:39Speaker 7: These are really good.
- 16:40Speaker 3: A lot of the they're insane, they're insane. Some of
- 16:43Speaker 3: them are just like fun ones. A big coin dispenser
- 16:46Speaker 3: that goes on his hip and she said he uses
- 16:51Speaker 3: it in public.
- 16:53Speaker 9: What do you think is going to be the most
- 16:55Speaker 9: expensive thing on your wedding registry, Ricky, I do.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Well now that I know that my options are endless.
- 17:00Speaker 3: I've never thought about, you know, thinking outside of the box.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Another person mentioned that they did a fund for their
- 17:06Speaker 3: student loan debt.
- 17:08Speaker 4: And people went nuts.
- 17:10Speaker 3: That's so I'm like, there are so many options of
- 17:13Speaker 3: things that I can do, and this is the thing.
- 17:15Speaker 3: We're kind of leaning towards elopement now. But if you
- 17:17Speaker 3: think I'm not going to send out something saying, hey,
- 17:20Speaker 3: we got married, here, donate to this.
- 17:22Speaker 4: Fund, sure, I'm still doing that. I'm getting my money.

- 19:52Speaker 5: I hope you guys have a wonderful day.
- 19:53Speaker 2: You too doing what a lovely person.
- 19:56Speaker 5: Three things you need to know.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Here we go, Ricky's got those three.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Billie Eilish was interviewed by her fellow celebrities her British Vogue.
- 20:04Speaker 3: People like Sabrina Carpenter, Chaperone, Ariana Grande and more all
- 20:08Speaker 3: asked her questions, where she revealed things like her favorite
- 20:11Speaker 3: gas station snack even though she doesn't make many trips
- 20:13Speaker 3: there anymore, she has an electric vehicle, and if her
- 20:16Speaker 3: and her brother Phineas can read each other's minds. It
- 20:19Speaker 3: was a really interesting read, but one of my favorite
- 20:21Speaker 3: questions came from Sizza, who asked her what her last
- 20:24Speaker 3: nightmare was about. Are you ready for this? I think
- 20:26Speaker 3: Zach's gonna enjoy this because he has crazy dreams. Yeah,
- 20:29Speaker 3: to get in here, she said, quote, Well, this wasn't
- 20:32Speaker 3: a nightmare, but I had a whole dream about this
- 20:34Speaker 3: burrito that I wanted so bad, and.
- 20:37Speaker 4: I was at this taco truck and.
- 20:38Speaker 3: I was waiting and waiting, and then they couldn't make them,
- 20:42Speaker 3: and then they couldn't remember which burrito was mine, and
- 20:44Speaker 3: this went on and on and on, and I never
- 20:47Speaker 3: got my burrito.
- 20:48Speaker 4: It was so upsetting.
- 20:49Speaker 7: That does sound like a nightmare, it does?
- 20:52Speaker 2: It does?
- 20:52Speaker 3: It sounds awful, just a little you know, peek into
- 20:55Speaker 3: Billie Eilish's mind right there.
- 20:57Speaker 4: American Airlines is making Wi Fi free on most flights.
- 21:00Speaker 3: This is huge and this is something that should just
- 21:03Speaker 3: be done everywhere. It's a new perk that's gonna cover
- 21:05Speaker 3: about ninety percent of its fleet. It's all sponsored by
- 21:08Speaker 3: AT and T and you need to be part of
- 21:10Speaker 3: their A Advantage Loyalty program in order to connect, which
- 21:13Speaker 3: is super easy to sign up for. Even regional jets
- 21:17Speaker 3: are getting upgraded with high speed Internet by the end
- 21:19Speaker 3: of this year. This is a huge upgrade because currently
- 21:22Speaker 3: it's about ten dollars per flight to get any Wi Fi,
- 21:25Speaker 3: and it can be even more depending on how long
- 21:27Speaker 3: your flight is.
- 21:28Speaker 4: So this is huge.
- 21:30Speaker 3: N WWE's SmackDown is coming back to Bridgetone Arena this summer,
- 21:34Speaker 3: writing Champ Cody Rhodes as well as Charlotte Flair, Randy
- 21:38Speaker 3: or in the Street, profits Bunch More. They're all gonna
- 21:41Speaker 3: be there July eleventh. Tickets go on sale next Friday,
- 21:44Speaker 3: April twenty fifth. If you are interested in buying them,
- 21:46Speaker 3: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 21:48Speaker 3: need to know.
- 21:50Speaker 5: The River, Heiki Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 21:52Speaker 3: You want to talk about gifting for your family members.
- 21:55Speaker 3: We found out, Zach and I recently that Kevin still
- 21:58Speaker 3: buys his brother gifts for his birthday, which is adorable.
- 22:03Speaker 4: How old is your brother?
- 22:04Speaker 2: I just heard forty four?
- 22:05Speaker 3: Okay, Zach and I don't buy our siblings gifts at
- 22:09Speaker 3: all anymore.
- 22:09Speaker 7: No, my siblings, my parents, no one give age.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Where we're like, Nope, I get that. I don't consider
- 22:15Speaker 1: myself a good gift giver in general. My brother and
- 22:17Speaker 1: I do like to go back and forth with goofy
- 22:19Speaker 1: little gifts.
- 22:19Speaker 2: But we're curious.
- 22:21Speaker 1: We just started wondering how most people, as they get older,
- 22:24Speaker 1: how their gift giving evolves.
- 22:25Speaker 4: Yeah, do you still buy your siblings gives? You still
- 22:28Speaker 4: buy your parents gives? I don't buy my parents gifts anyone.
- 22:31Speaker 7: I only do for a Christmas because you have to.
- 22:33Speaker 4: Yes, Chris, send your.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Mom flowers on her birthday or anything.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Nope, seven, I'm gonna start setting your mom flowers on
- 22:42Speaker 1: I birthday.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Let us know where you stand on the scale.
- 22:46Speaker 5: Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on the River.
- 22:49Speaker 3: Kelly and Nashville, tell us, do you still gift your
- 22:53Speaker 3: siblings anything for their birthday.
- 22:55Speaker 10: The good ones. Absolutely, they need to be celebrated. Everybody
- 23:00Speaker 10: should be celebrated on their birthday.
- 23:02Speaker 4: How old are you now, Kelly to Are you going.
- 23:05Speaker 10: To be thirty five tomorrow?
- 23:06Speaker 2: That's how many siblings do you have?
- 23:10Speaker 8: You?
- 23:11Speaker 10: Oh, Jerry Springer? I have three?
- 23:13Speaker 2: Did you say, Jerry Springer?
- 23:15Speaker 10: Let's not go there, but yeah.
- 23:17Speaker 3: Okay, so you have three siblings. You still buy them
- 23:20Speaker 3: all gifts?
- 23:21Speaker 8: Not all of them?
- 23:22Speaker 2: Oh the good one, good one?
- 23:23Speaker 3: Sorry, the good ones. You still buy the good ones gifts.
- 23:26Speaker 10: Yes, I do think it's important that people should be
- 23:29Speaker 10: celebrated on their birthday, good or bad. I'm kind of
- 23:32Speaker 10: being a bret. Yeah, I got to show a little love,
- 23:34Speaker 10: you know.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Are you expecting gifts from all of these siblings tomorrow?
- 23:37Speaker 10: Absolutely?
- 23:38Speaker 2: Not this call. You're really like a lot of ups
- 23:42Speaker 2: and downs here. You lead us out in one and
- 23:43Speaker 2: then the's twists and turns and yeah.
- 23:45Speaker 10: I'm honest. I'll give honest. Hey, I knew I expect it.
- 23:49Speaker 3: That's it.
- 23:50Speaker 10: It's a love language, right. You don't always get it
- 23:52Speaker 10: back the way you give it.
- 23:54Speaker 4: Facts, that's very true.
- 23:55Speaker 3: I love the honesty, and I think the ups and
- 23:57Speaker 3: downs is just the way that life is.
- 23:59Speaker 4: Family can be very calm.
- 24:00Speaker 10: I absolutely it is great though.
- 24:02Speaker 8: Thank you guys again.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Happy birthday, big bye bye. Jasmine in Nashville, Good morning, Welcome.
- 24:10Speaker 4: To the river.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Where are you here? Do you give gifts to your
- 24:12Speaker 2: family members?
- 24:13Speaker 5: Yes?
- 24:14Speaker 6: And if I don't, it's kind of frown upon.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Oh so you're kind of forced to give gifts that, Jasmine.
- 24:19Speaker 6: No, not four, but I'm the youngest of four, and
- 24:23Speaker 6: we all attend all occasions with each other, and we
- 24:28Speaker 6: throw big birthday parties, and if you don't bring your gifts,
- 24:30Speaker 6: it's kind of like, Okay, well do you not love me?
- 24:33Speaker 5: Ah?
- 24:34Speaker 2: What we're saying.
- 24:35Speaker 1: I would like to think that just being there, you know,
- 24:37Speaker 1: your presence is the present.
- 24:39Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 24:40Speaker 6: No, I'm actually kind of joking, but no, we all
- 24:43Speaker 6: are very loyal to each other and get you know,
- 24:46Speaker 6: it doesn't have to be anything big, you know, it
- 24:48Speaker 6: can be something small or just sentimental or whatever. Except
- 24:52Speaker 6: for my dad seems to think that he can send
- 24:55Speaker 6: all of my siblings and a list of very extensive
- 24:59Speaker 6: presents that he wants that's to buy. It's almost like
- 25:01Speaker 6: what pay for your life?
- 25:02Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 25:04Speaker 3: Yes, so this is why I stopped buying gifts for
- 25:07Speaker 3: my family because they all have very expensive taste and
- 25:11Speaker 3: I'm freaking broke.
- 25:12Speaker 6: Yeah, not me and my siblings. It's just this weird
- 25:15Speaker 6: say for my dad's now, like I think it's like, okay,
- 25:18Speaker 6: well I supported your lifestyle, so now here's my list
- 25:22Speaker 6: of things I want for birth my birthday, for Father's Day.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Like, as a dad, I get that. I'm looking forward
- 25:28Speaker 2: to doing that one day.
- 25:29Speaker 4: I appreciate it to an extent, like I kind of understand.
- 25:32Speaker 1: But still, all right, Jasmine, thank you for listening. Thank
- 25:35Speaker 1: you so much for calling.
- 25:36Speaker 6: All right, thank you guys, have a good night, byllo a.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Good night listen. A little premature.
- 25:41Speaker 1: How do you navigate that, then, Ricky, with your family
- 25:43Speaker 1: if you are, you know, the lowest income.
- 25:45Speaker 4: Earner, I just don't buy them anything.
- 25:47Speaker 3: And I've literally flat out and told them, like listen,
- 25:49Speaker 3: I am broke. Yeah, And my mom never wants gifts.
- 25:53Speaker 3: She's always like, please don't buy me anything. I know
- 25:55Speaker 3: you don't have the money to don't do it. Everybody
- 25:57Speaker 3: else is like, so where's my gift?
- 26:00Speaker 4: I mean, my dad's gotten over it.
- 26:02Speaker 1: At the forty, too old to make them handmade gifts.
- 26:05Speaker 1: A little like make an astray to do that, and.
- 26:07Speaker 4: I think they would all look at me like I
- 26:10Speaker 4: was insane, like.
- 26:11Speaker 10: What is this?
- 26:12Speaker 5: Thanks for being a part of our morning Ricky, Zach
- 26:15Speaker 5: and Meno in the Morning.
- 26:17Speaker 2: The River, Chris and Franklin, Welcome to the show.
- 26:20Speaker 1: We're having a conversation about gift giving within a family.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Ricky and Zach thought it was funny that I was
- 26:25Speaker 1: sending my forty four year old brother a birthday gift.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Where do you stand here?
- 26:30Speaker 8: Hey, I give gifts like they're going out of style.
- 26:33Speaker 8: I love gift giving. My sister is forty three years old,
- 26:39Speaker 8: and I get her a gift every year, as I
- 26:42Speaker 8: do my parents and my nieces and nephews, as well
- 26:46Speaker 8: as my wife and my kids too.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Whoa, oh, Chris, what a good is your forty three
- 26:51Speaker 2: year old sister single?
- 26:53Speaker 8: She is, unfortunately for you not Why aren't.
- 26:56Speaker 7: You hitting on his sister?
- 26:58Speaker 5: Not for me?
- 26:58Speaker 2: For my forty four year old brother.
- 27:00Speaker 8: Oh oh, okay, now she's been she's been married for
- 27:04Speaker 8: quite a while, so definitely not single.
- 27:06Speaker 2: And is it going well between them? Never have?
- 27:09Speaker 8: Absolutely?
- 27:10Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 27:11Speaker 4: I think that's really sweet. I do have to ask,
- 27:13Speaker 4: do you have a good paying job.
- 27:16Speaker 8: I mean I do well enough to buy gifts.
- 27:18Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, see that's well.
- 27:21Speaker 7: I have good news for you, Chris.
- 27:23Speaker 9: My birthday is coming up and I am wide open
- 27:26Speaker 9: to accepting gifts.
- 27:27Speaker 8: Well, listen, all you have to do is shoot me
- 27:30Speaker 8: an email with an address and I can make that happen.
- 27:35Speaker 7: You play with me.
- 27:36Speaker 2: He's going to do that.
- 27:37Speaker 8: Yeah, that's perfectly fine.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Let me ask you another question.
- 27:41Speaker 1: When you're buying a gift for a sibling or something,
- 27:43Speaker 1: how much are you typically spending?
- 27:45Speaker 8: I mean, I will say I love a good deal,
- 27:49Speaker 8: so I try to find something that appears expensive but
- 27:53Speaker 8: is on a budget. So maybe the twenty max forty
- 27:59Speaker 8: dollars range.
- 28:00Speaker 4: Smart, Chris, very smart.
- 28:01Speaker 7: I can send you a couple of links.
