- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on Relatables. I like the butterflies, even though
- 0:04Speaker 1: it's really really scary, but like when you initially start
- 0:07Speaker 1: kissing someone who sees someone naked for the first time,
- 0:10Speaker 1: and your butterflies like what I do? It's crazy, and
- 0:14Speaker 1: then like you get into it and they sort of
- 0:16Speaker 1: go away, and then you get all excited and then
- 0:18Speaker 1: like it's real fun and you start just fucking you
- 0:21Speaker 1: get more confident, like relatable the Relatable was podcast. It
- 0:34Speaker 1: is hosted by myself Jake aka just Jake, not Jake,
- 0:38Speaker 1: creg Daddy oh yeah, and my partner of Crime Crime
- 0:43Speaker 1: Budie aka Mommy. Every single time we've done first last night,
- 0:46Speaker 1: may you were just like Jake, you put me off.
- 0:50Speaker 1: You know what it is. I've come back a different
- 0:52Speaker 1: person from where from my cleanse? Oh maybe that segue
- 0:59Speaker 1: was so good it went over my head. We are cleanse.
- 1:03Speaker 1: We're thinking, where'd you go on the weekend? Did you
- 1:07Speaker 1: do some retreat or something for clean No, mate, But
- 1:10Speaker 1: we left the listeners on a bit of a cliffhanger,
- 1:12Speaker 1: didn't we We did. We certainly did act maybe not
- 1:15Speaker 1: the biggest cliffhanger ever, but we said this weekend that
- 1:20Speaker 1: just passed. We were gonna get rid of the smartphones
- 1:24Speaker 1: and we're gonna whip out the flip phones that I bought. Yes,
- 1:28Speaker 1: so a couple updates first before we get into our
- 1:31Speaker 1: cleanse Yes, I fucked up and the cool flip phones,
- 1:35Speaker 1: although very cool, they were, still give me that they
- 1:39Speaker 1: don't work in Australia. So we had to go to
- 1:43Speaker 1: JB High Five at a local JB High Five and
- 1:46Speaker 1: pick up some they're called Do you call them JB
- 1:49Speaker 1: high five? You know it's Jami high five, Tomato Tomato
- 1:56Speaker 1: mate changed their name high five. I don't think it's
- 1:58Speaker 1: soon comes off the tongue better. Surely that isn't that
- 2:02Speaker 1: a kid's TV show? Five? Yeah? I think they would
- 2:04Speaker 1: get suited. If Jelling added a V in a knee,
- 2:07Speaker 1: they'd get sued. High five is still a thing? Yeah
- 2:09Speaker 1: it is? Yeah? Really well yeah they still too. They
- 2:11Speaker 1: still do everything. Really, we should go to a show
- 2:14Speaker 1: or something. Apparently, when I was my mum said, when
- 2:16Speaker 1: I was a kid, and the og high five was
- 2:20Speaker 1: like kind of just I think we were kids when
- 2:23Speaker 1: they were just kind of starting. Yeah, I remember it
- 2:24Speaker 1: as kids. I didn't think they were still around.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Yeah, she said, that I would it would be on
- 2:28Speaker 2: the TV, and I would just run around and not
- 2:31Speaker 2: watch the TV for most of them. And then there
- 2:33Speaker 2: was this one girl because like they held out their
- 2:35Speaker 2: own different little segments. Yeah, there was a girl that
- 2:37Speaker 2: apparently I had a bit of a crush on. Oh yeah,
- 2:39Speaker 2: the High five girl, and I would sit down and
- 2:41Speaker 2: watch hers, and then when it swapped out to one
- 2:43Speaker 2: of the dudes.
- 2:46Speaker 1: At least we were loyal from the start. Fair there
- 2:48Speaker 1: you go.
- 2:49Speaker 2: And I also how apparently we went to the Wiggles
- 2:52Speaker 2: when they were just like they weren't even on TV yet,
- 2:54Speaker 2: they were just touring.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Like in every country they were a different Wiggle.
- 3:00Speaker 2: No, no, no, I think the Wiggles are on the Australian,
- 3:01Speaker 2: so if people watch them overseas, they're watching the Australian.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, yeah, but it's funny. I've seen the Purple
- 3:06Speaker 1: Wiggle has a TikTok account. Do you know where he's from?
- 3:09Speaker 1: He like, where's he from? Okay?
- 3:11Speaker 2: The Purple Wiggle was in that boy band group, that's
- 3:15Speaker 2: what it was.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Ah damn. And they have a banger of a song
- 3:18Speaker 1: out too. Was it Justice Crew? Yes? Yeah, he was
- 3:22Speaker 1: in Justice Crew. Row that's Australia culture right there. The
- 3:26Speaker 1: Purple Wiggle was in Justice Crew. Justice Crew one. Australia's
- 3:30Speaker 1: got talent. They came up the top three or five
- 3:33Speaker 1: or something and Australia's one d Damn, Australia is one
- 3:37Speaker 1: dro Do they still make money? No, no, they don't
- 3:40Speaker 1: to or anything. But why is he doing the Wiggle?
- 3:42Speaker 1: He's probably making money? Yeah, I reckon he makes bad
- 3:44Speaker 1: like ages. Maybe like fourteen to eighteen, I thought The
- 3:48Speaker 1: Wiggles wasn't the coolest thing. Now I think I would
- 3:52Speaker 1: be a Wiggle gets sick, just like rapping. They have
- 3:56Speaker 1: like DJs on there and Ship and the Purple Wiggle.
- 3:59Speaker 2: He fully one of the other guys that was in
- 4:02Speaker 2: Justice Crew because Justice Crew felt exactly. One of the
- 4:05Speaker 2: other guys that was in Justice Crew is now a
- 4:06Speaker 2: DJ and the Purple Wiggle got him on The Wiggles
- 4:08Speaker 2: as a DJ.
- 4:09Speaker 1: The kids makes for giving people job. Imagine people are like,
- 4:12Speaker 1: what do you do for a living, And he's just like,
- 4:14Speaker 1: I'm the Purple Wiggle. Nah, you can't beat the og.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I know you can't. You can't. I really have like
- 4:22Speaker 1: embedded in my brain what every single Wiggle looks like
- 4:25Speaker 1: and actually the red one he was always old.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Yes, the red one, but the blue one is the
- 4:29Speaker 2: guy that stuck around the longest.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, he didn't give up. He didn't give up
- 4:32Speaker 1: until he was like fucking fifty eight. Or talking about
- 4:38Speaker 1: the purple wiggle, you had a purple version of by
- 4:41Speaker 1: f I have a purple version of that. We're slightly
- 4:43Speaker 1: different but saying yeah, yeah, we got nock here three, two,
- 4:47Speaker 1: and tens. I don't know if it's the two ten
- 4:50Speaker 1: or that or whatever. But what we were trying to
- 4:54Speaker 1: do was get disconnected from social media and everything and
- 4:58Speaker 1: have a cleanse for Saturday and Sunday. We started Saturday
- 5:01Speaker 1: morning when we woke up and I started Friday alvo.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Oh really, That's when I texted you and said, KNOCKI
- 5:06Speaker 1: your time. I thought you were just reminding me. Oh no,
- 5:08Speaker 1: I feel started. Well, you had to change your sim
- 5:11Speaker 1: whereas I have an AIM so I had to get
- 5:13Speaker 1: a full new SIM card. But what do you think?
- 5:18Speaker 1: Can I gotta say, Can I be honest? Yeah? I
- 5:20Speaker 1: loved it, really fucking loved it. Okay, so Saturday took
- 5:27Speaker 1: a little bit of getting used to. Oh yeah, and
- 5:29Speaker 1: it was kind of annoying because it here's my phone.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Who wants to work? This is me typing any word
- 5:37Speaker 1: every time you text, and I couldn't turn it all
- 5:39Speaker 1: every time you press a button. I was texting Jay
- 5:42Speaker 1: and I was just like, I can't figure out. This
- 5:45Speaker 1: is before we started. I was like, I can't figure
- 5:46Speaker 1: out how to send him a text and they were
- 5:48Speaker 1: sending and I said him like ten K.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Yeah, he sent me the letter K about because I
- 5:52Speaker 2: said KNOCKI your time and you said kay. And I
- 5:54Speaker 2: thought you were being funny, like you were trying to
- 5:56Speaker 2: just not say that many letters. And I was like, oh,
- 5:57Speaker 2: it's just saying okay, that's good.
- 5:59Speaker 1: I laughed. I chuckled me like seven more. It was
- 6:02Speaker 1: like I didn't know. I was like, this guy's on
- 6:05Speaker 1: this phone. Like when I click on Jake as a
- 6:07Speaker 1: contact and then click send them a text message, the
- 6:10Speaker 1: text message disappears. I have to go back on the
- 6:12Speaker 1: text message not from your contact to find our thread, okay.
- 6:16Speaker 1: And it took me to a new one. Yeah, it
- 6:17Speaker 1: took me a while to figure that out. And me,
- 6:19Speaker 1: funny man, Cassie was sitting on the couch like I
- 6:21Speaker 1: don't know how to do it and my thing.
- 6:24Speaker 2: I didn't know how to turn off the textime, so
- 6:26Speaker 2: it was just going every two seconds and I was
- 6:29Speaker 2: like fuck off. But no, okay, I I will say
- 6:36Speaker 2: I really liked it.
- 6:38Speaker 1: To be fair, I kept quite busy, so there was
- 6:42Speaker 1: only a handful of times where so on Saturday it
- 6:46Speaker 1: was good because I think even with my iPhone, I
- 6:50Speaker 1: still can be quite productive. But there was zero breaks
- 6:54Speaker 1: in my productivity. And Saturday was the day that I
- 6:57Speaker 1: did just a fuck town of house chores. Yeah, like
- 7:00Speaker 1: I just did like a bunch of cleaning. I did
- 7:02Speaker 1: yard work. I'm trying to revive my yard. It's like dead.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Did you feel like you had more time? Yeah? Yeah,
- 7:07Speaker 1: so did I. I felt like the world was moving
- 7:10Speaker 1: a lot slower. Yes, Especially so on Saturday I had
- 7:14Speaker 1: the complete opposite. I had nothing to do really well,
- 7:16Speaker 1: my editing was done. How did you find it by?
- 7:18Speaker 1: Actually just in overall? Where how did you go overall?
- 7:20Speaker 1: You go into it? Okay, I have two confessions. Actually,
- 7:23Speaker 1: Saturday one hundred percent stuck to it. Stuck to it,
- 7:28Speaker 1: and I liked it to a certain extent. But there
- 7:31Speaker 1: are certain moments in life where you're like, fuck, I
- 7:33Speaker 1: wish I had an iPhone. Yeah, I thought that I did.
- 7:36Speaker 1: And Saturday I had a really bad No, Sunday, sorry,
- 7:40Speaker 1: I had a really bad Sunday. I woke up and
- 7:42Speaker 1: I just had my nose was pissing blood straight away,
- 7:47Speaker 1: and I was just like it was like and it
- 7:48Speaker 1: just went all over my white sheets, like full pissing blood.
- 7:51Speaker 1: I was like, this is so fucking random. And then
- 7:54Speaker 1: I had to talk to our editor. I punched you
- 7:56Speaker 1: in the face. She wasn't even sleeping over. I was
- 7:58Speaker 1: by myself like kind of luckily because it was the discussing. Yeah,
- 8:00Speaker 1: my whole pillow was just red and shit. We had
- 8:03Speaker 1: to text our editor that day because I was getting
- 8:05Speaker 1: back the Monday episode. You guys just listened to Yes,
- 8:07Speaker 1: So I had to do a bit of that. And
- 8:08Speaker 1: I was being disciplined. Saturday, I was very disciplined, okay,
- 8:11Speaker 1: And Sunday discipline was a little little bit laxed. I edited, like,
- 8:15Speaker 1: got to the editor, was talking to him a little bit,
- 8:17Speaker 1: and I was good for like, I was like, I'll
- 8:18Speaker 1: give myself fifteen minutes. But Sunday afternoon, I failed, Oh
- 8:22Speaker 1: did you? Yeah? Oh okay, So I went like a
- 8:25Speaker 1: day and a half. Okay, nice, but the discipline factor
- 8:28Speaker 1: that you brought up a lot, like a couple of
- 8:30Speaker 1: weeks ago, really made me think about now that I've
- 8:33Speaker 1: got my phone back, I really second guess I don't
- 8:35Speaker 1: need to be on social media. Yeah, and like it's
- 8:38Speaker 1: really like turned a little gear in my brain and
- 8:40Speaker 1: made me think a little bit more and really got
- 8:42Speaker 1: that time back and I feel less stressed, to be honest. Okay,
- 8:45Speaker 1: so I did fail a little bit. Okay, that's all right.
- 8:46Speaker 1: I mean you got to fail to get better. But
- 8:48Speaker 1: when I woke up without bleeding nose, I was like,
- 8:49Speaker 1: this is the fucking shit this morning? Ever? Yeah, shit,
- 8:52Speaker 1: I was just not in the mood. No fair eye.
- 8:55Speaker 2: So I was quite busy Saturday, and then Saturday I
- 8:58Speaker 2: did like a bunch of shit and then I actually
- 9:00Speaker 2: Beth gets home from work, and then I was going
- 9:01Speaker 2: coming to the coast because my family was here for Ester.
- 9:04Speaker 2: And so we got here and my dad met us here,
- 9:07Speaker 2: and then we went into the beach and we got pizza,
- 9:10Speaker 2: came back, and then once my dad left, my sister
- 9:13Speaker 2: also went out with her friends.
- 9:15Speaker 1: So it was just Beth, myself and Henry at the house.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Yes, and I kind of had cleaned up some dinner,
- 9:20Speaker 2: and then as soon as I finished cleaning, it was
- 9:22Speaker 2: like the first moment in the whole day where I
- 9:24Speaker 2: actually would have properly gone and sat on my phone
- 9:27Speaker 2: for a while.
- 9:27Speaker 1: This is like nighttime.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Yeah, it was about seven point thirty eight o'clock and
- 9:32Speaker 2: I was about eight o'clock and I realized because Beth
- 9:36Speaker 2: was actually out dropping Joanna to Terragor.
- 9:39Speaker 1: And so I was just with Henry. I'd finished cleaning,
- 9:41Speaker 1: and I was like, what do I do? That was
- 9:44Speaker 1: the first moment where I thought, Okay, this is where
- 9:46Speaker 1: I will actually get bored. But what am I going
- 9:48Speaker 1: to do about it? And I didn't. I left my
- 9:51Speaker 1: iPhone in Sydney. Really, I didn't have a choice. I
- 9:55Speaker 1: didn't had zero choice. And so there was no Wi.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Fi at the house, and I I brought my laptop
- 10:01Speaker 2: so maybe watch Netflix, because I was like, I'm gonna
- 10:03Speaker 2: let myself watch TV on network. Yeah, but Beth wasn't
- 10:07Speaker 2: there and I needed her hotspot because I left my.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Phone in Sydney because Johanna didn't get Wi Fi again
- 10:14Speaker 1: after I left, and so I think I just basically
- 10:18Speaker 1: what happened? You sat there was so because we're doing
- 10:22Speaker 1: the book club. I read.
- 10:24Speaker 2: I just read, and then I was reading too much
- 10:28Speaker 2: and I was like, I'm too into this. I need
- 10:29Speaker 2: to stop. And so I never thought I would ever
- 10:32Speaker 2: ever do this ever.
- 10:33Speaker 1: In my life. But I am currently reading two books
- 10:35Speaker 1: at one time. What book? So one?
- 10:39Speaker 2: So a quarter of Thorns and Roses is fiction. And
- 10:43Speaker 2: then I was like, well, I'm not going to read
- 10:45Speaker 2: another fiction because I'll be too invested in too many
- 10:47Speaker 2: characters and I'll start merging them. So I started reading
- 10:50Speaker 2: a nonfiction and it's called Well I've read it before
- 10:53Speaker 2: and I just had it okay, And it's called Why
- 10:56Speaker 2: Men Don't Listen and Women Can't Read Maps? And it's
- 10:58Speaker 2: the whole book about the scientific different it is between
- 11:00Speaker 2: men and women. And it's a really interesting, interesting book
- 11:03Speaker 2: and I.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Just needed it to pass the time. Who are you,
- 11:05Speaker 1: I know, bro, tell me about it the frontal lobe.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Tell me about it, Elode. Can you feel something in
- 11:11Speaker 1: your brain? I like just paused, like, can you like
- 11:13Speaker 1: feel something like growing in your brain? Do you know what
- 11:16Speaker 1: I feel? What? I walk into her room? And I
- 11:18Speaker 1: think I am better than all. It was honestly insane.
- 11:24Speaker 1: I just because I couldn't. I ended up.
- 11:27Speaker 2: I admittedly I read one chapter two far and I
- 11:30Speaker 2: could talk.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Oh I stopped on purpose. I'm up to fourteen. I'm
- 11:35Speaker 1: cheated on. I could have stopped reading. That's like watching
- 11:39Speaker 1: a Netflix series and watching an episode about no okay,
- 11:42Speaker 1: so but that's what I did. And then we played.
- 11:45Speaker 1: We played like some board games. I was trying to
- 11:47Speaker 1: get best still she went and she didn't give a fox.
- 11:50Speaker 1: She was on her phone in front of mehit. But
- 11:53Speaker 1: I went to bed early yea. So it's like and
- 11:55Speaker 1: then the next day on Sunday, I had to go.
- 11:57Speaker 1: We woke up and when I wore up, I didn't
- 12:00Speaker 1: have a phone to go on, so I kind of
- 12:01Speaker 1: just got up straight away and said, oh, well, do
- 12:03Speaker 1: you want to go to the beach get a coffee?
- 12:05Speaker 1: And then we came back from that and kind of
- 12:06Speaker 1: straight away had to go to an Easter lunch. The
- 12:08Speaker 1: best takeaways I had from it was one waking up
- 12:12Speaker 1: and not checking your phone because both days I left
- 12:14Speaker 1: it in a different room. Yeah, and like I just
- 12:16Speaker 1: like woke up naturally. Yeah, And it was really good
- 12:19Speaker 1: and refreshing other than the bleeding nose and then watching
- 12:23Speaker 1: I allowed myself to watch TV. Yeah, see, I think
- 12:25Speaker 1: that's fine. But usually when I watched TV, like I
- 12:29Speaker 1: watch YouTube, and I sure don't give myself the time
- 12:31Speaker 1: of day to watch it like full Like you also scrolled,
- 12:33Speaker 1: I'm like scrolling all like, I don't watch the whole video.
- 12:36Speaker 1: But when I sat down and watched TV, I'm like, well,
- 12:39Speaker 1: I've got to watch this nothing else to do. So
- 12:40Speaker 1: I was like, no, I'll finished watching this. I got
- 12:42Speaker 1: time exactly, like I just relaxed, Like why am I
- 12:44Speaker 1: stressing myself out all the time about eating food? Then
- 12:46Speaker 1: I'll go do some work and I'll go to the gym.
- 12:47Speaker 1: And then I watched finish watching this and I was like,
- 12:49Speaker 1: it's half an hour already. Let me just eat my
- 12:50Speaker 1: food and then not get up and like clean my
- 12:52Speaker 1: plate or anything. Just keep watching it like a normal
- 12:55Speaker 1: human being. It's fucking it's an interesting feeling. I will say,
- 13:00Speaker 1: I'm not gonna lie. I'm keen to do it again
- 13:01Speaker 1: next weekend. Are you doing it every weekend? I thought
- 13:03Speaker 1: that's what we were doing it now I thought it
- 13:04Speaker 1: was one off. Oh really yeah? Oh wait, so you
- 13:08Speaker 1: bought those two hundred dollar cat phones for a one off.
- 13:12Speaker 1: I thought we were doing it every week. I was
- 13:13Speaker 1: hoping we could implement I'm not using this thing again.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Oh the cat phone's good because of that Spotify and thing.
- 13:19Speaker 1: This this thing's a piece of shit, terrible. I want
- 13:23Speaker 1: to do it. I thought we were doing it every weekend. Oh.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I thought like if we liked it, we would implement
- 13:27Speaker 1: it in our like real lives, like on our own accord. Okay, well,
- 13:30Speaker 1: I'm going to try weekends. Then I'll keep it weekend.
- 13:32Speaker 1: But I'm not using this thing. Sucks. I fucking love it.
- 13:37Speaker 1: I would prefer not to reply to anyone then reply
- 13:40Speaker 1: on this. Oh yeah, no, I try not to. I
- 13:43Speaker 1: didn't get many texts. I got some phone calls. Yeah,
- 13:45Speaker 1: and you have to use speaker phone. Yeah.
- 13:48Speaker 2: I found if someone's got an iPhone and I'm talking
- 13:50Speaker 2: to them on my little nock here, I can't hear
- 13:52Speaker 2: them that good.
- 13:52Speaker 1: But you called me on your knockie and it sounded great. Right,
- 13:55Speaker 1: So we said we should get all of our friends
- 13:58Speaker 1: just knockers. Certainly, six hundred dollars about fucking seventy bucks
- 14:01Speaker 1: day won't break the bank. If we have the flip phones,
- 14:06Speaker 1: I would, okay, but we can find something. Yeah, I
- 14:09Speaker 1: still just need that. Like I don't know me being toxic.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Maybe my frontal lobe hasn't developed as much as yours.
- 14:15Speaker 1: But yeah, maybe maybe maybe I will give it a go.
- 14:17Speaker 1: But maybe you just do what maybe one day you
- 14:20Speaker 1: should do just all of Saturday.
- 14:22Speaker 2: So it's like Saturday morning to Sunday mornings. So and
- 14:24Speaker 2: you have one full day and one full night and
- 14:26Speaker 2: then just and then because then at least you're not
- 14:28Speaker 2: telling yourself you're gonna do something and then going, ah,
- 14:31Speaker 2: fuck it, I'm just gonna I'm gonna cheat it.
- 14:33Speaker 1: I do feel like Sundays are like a cheap day
- 14:35Speaker 1: anyway for myself, Like I relax on the diet, don't
- 14:38Speaker 1: work out. I could do one day during the week. Yeah,
- 14:41Speaker 1: it's like working shit. Yeah, I mean one Saturday every
- 14:45Speaker 1: that's maybe healthy for me. Yeah, just a Saturday. Yeah,
- 14:47Speaker 1: just every Saturday. Wake up, don't go on my phone
- 14:49Speaker 1: all of Saturday. Then Sunday I'm back on my phone.
- 14:51Speaker 2: So I ended up doing Friday if out to Monday
- 14:54Speaker 2: morning at like nine, I stayed and we were going
- 14:56Speaker 2: to go home on Sunday night. We ended up staying
- 14:59Speaker 2: one night because we were tired.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Did anyone text you who, like I didn't know you
- 15:02Speaker 1: had to knock yet? No, I got.
- 15:05Speaker 2: I saved some numbers on the phone, and because I
- 15:07Speaker 2: had my SIM, everyone could text me and it would
- 15:09Speaker 2: come through. But I didn't save my younger sister's number
- 15:11Speaker 2: because she never texts me. Yeah, and so I did
- 15:13Speaker 2: get a text saying are you coming to a voca today?
- 15:16Speaker 2: And it was on Saturday, And I just thought, fuck,
- 15:19Speaker 2: this actually could be and he doesn't Auntie, It could be.
- 15:23Speaker 2: It could be my grandparents, could be anyone I did
- 15:26Speaker 2: or could be friends.
- 15:28Speaker 1: It actually could be, but I did.
- 15:30Speaker 2: I had to turn my phone on to check the number,
- 15:34Speaker 2: and then so it was my sisters. So then I
- 15:35Speaker 2: made the contact and I thought, oh, what else did
- 15:37Speaker 2: I have to turn my phone on for?
- 15:38Speaker 1: Or had to turn my iPhone on?
- 15:40Speaker 2: Because we have Beth and I have a little Robovac.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Have I told you about that? Beth and I Beth
- 15:45Speaker 2: got gifted a Robovac, like one of those ones is
- 15:47Speaker 2: like goes around on AI powered and talk to you
- 15:49Speaker 2: when she maps out the ground on that.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Yeah, it's sick, and I've got to turn my phone
- 15:53Speaker 1: on to turn that on. So I didn't go, I
- 15:55Speaker 1: didn't scroll anything, but I had to turn my phone
- 15:57Speaker 1: on for that. But I reckon, we should you just quickly?
- 15:59Speaker 1: I think, can you look at days? How much you're
- 16:01Speaker 1: on your phone for a day? Yeah? Oh you do
- 16:04Speaker 1: week because I.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Amay aze, Well look at it because today I'm alad
- 16:08Speaker 2: up to.
- 16:08Speaker 1: An hour forty Shit? Where is it go? Week called
- 16:11Speaker 1: screen time? Oh okay, wait, my daily average, I'm assuming
- 16:15Speaker 1: because of the weekend, went down to two hours and
- 16:17Speaker 1: nineteen minutes a day. Shit, that's pretty good. So low.
- 16:21Speaker 1: My daily average four hours and thirty one minutes, down
- 16:25Speaker 1: forty percent from the week before. So but mine's down
- 16:27Speaker 1: sixty two percent. Can you go down to the weekend
- 16:29Speaker 1: or not? You can't go? Can't go my day? Well
- 16:31Speaker 1: we could go, Oh, here you go.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Look, last week's average was actually five hours and thirty
- 16:39Speaker 2: seven minutes. But then Saturday and Sunday you can see
- 16:41Speaker 2: that there's zero.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Yeaheah, I guess sick that. Oh yeah, mine's average four
- 16:47Speaker 1: hours thirty one minutes. So you're actually on your phone
- 16:49Speaker 1: less than me. That's surprising. I thought I would be honest.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Here we go, let's see what are you doing? Yeah? Oh,
- 16:55Speaker 1: I was watching a bunch of fucking golf. I woke
- 17:03Speaker 1: up for four days straight at five am to watch
- 17:06Speaker 1: the Masters. And let me tell you something about me,
- 17:09Speaker 1: all right, I was talking about it else. I was
- 17:13Speaker 1: talking about it on Passenger Princess.
- 17:15Speaker 2: You may relate to this for soccer or something, okay,
- 17:19Speaker 2: And this is literally like golf has just become my
- 17:21Speaker 2: personality this year.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Okay. I would like everyone to know that.
- 17:23Speaker 2: I'm more than happy to admit that by no means
- 17:25Speaker 2: a long term golf fan by any golfer. But so
- 17:28Speaker 2: there's a golfer and Rory McElroy, you heard the name, Okay,
- 17:32Speaker 2: he was like kind of going to be the next
- 17:33Speaker 2: Tiger Woods. And he comes into the scene when he's young,
- 17:36Speaker 2: apparently in twenty eleven or whatever, and he wins a
- 17:38Speaker 2: bunch and then he wins three majors.
- 17:40Speaker 1: He's got five major wins or something. But there's four
- 17:43Speaker 1: majors to win, and there's only six people now in
- 17:46Speaker 1: all time that have won all four majors called a
- 17:48Speaker 1: Grand Slam.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Right, he wins like five majors, but he wins like
- 17:52Speaker 2: maybe multiple of one out of the so he's got
- 17:54Speaker 2: three majors.
- 17:55Speaker 1: To his name. He goes eleven years without winning a major,
- 18:00Speaker 1: still stays really good and really relevant, top of the
- 18:02Speaker 1: table and shit wins normal tour events. Goes eleven years
- 18:05Speaker 1: of that winning a major.
- 18:06Speaker 2: He comes to this Master's, the twenty twenty five Masters,
- 18:08Speaker 2: and he finally fucking wins it, and that was the
- 18:10Speaker 2: only one he hadn't won. And so he wins the
- 18:12Speaker 2: Grand Slam and I'm watching it, and because I've done
- 18:15Speaker 2: all my little bit of like I don't know ADHD
- 18:17Speaker 2: research on the guy because I've just randomly become obsessed
- 18:20Speaker 2: with golf, I understood the law.
- 18:22Speaker 1: So I was like full rooting for him. He wins,
- 18:25Speaker 1: and he just breaks down really and I was eating
- 18:28Speaker 1: my breakfast and I cry, who are you? And I
- 18:35Speaker 1: just I don't think I struggle to cry out sad things,
- 18:39Speaker 1: but happy stuff. I bore my eyes.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Out, like Patreon last week when we started watching that
- 18:44Speaker 2: Australia's Got Talent thing out of pure happiness, I was
- 18:47Speaker 2: welling up.
- 18:48Speaker 1: I actually had a similar feeling when I was editing
- 18:50Speaker 1: it because I had to insert the video It's just happy.
- 18:52Speaker 1: This makes it feel so good. It's just happiness. So
- 18:55Speaker 1: that's yeah, that's something else about me. How crazy, bro
- 18:59Speaker 1: funny you're getting to golf. I'm getting into F one. Yeah,
- 19:02Speaker 1: I'm loving the highlights. I won't watch a fucking proper
- 19:05Speaker 1: race because they go for LD Yeah. I don't know,
- 19:07Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm loving the F one because it's
- 19:10Speaker 1: the first time Australia has had anyone lead Osco Piastri.
- 19:14Speaker 1: He's an ass he's an ass familiar leader for the
- 19:16Speaker 1: championship after this he was won after Saudi Arasia. He
- 19:19Speaker 1: just won, you know too. Yeah, see on TikTok Yeah
- 19:21Speaker 1: the radio. Yeah, on the radio. Well that's hectic, so
- 19:26Speaker 1: you're full getting the F one. Yeah. I just like
- 19:27Speaker 1: the highlights.
- 19:28Speaker 2: You know, it's crazy, but you know what is changing
- 19:30Speaker 2: about us? And I do see some frontal load development
- 19:32Speaker 2: and you, you know how you were saying, oh, maybe.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I'm not getting it. I think you are getting that
- 19:35Speaker 1: where because everyone's a rich man sport. That's frontal load
- 19:39Speaker 1: development there. I'll take that. I might not be able
- 19:42Speaker 1: to get off my phone, but watching some cars go
- 19:44Speaker 1: around the track, would you ever want to go to
- 19:48Speaker 1: a race? It's actually worrying. Do you think I think
- 19:50Speaker 1: it's fun to watch the highlights. How many hours as
- 19:53Speaker 1: the race go? For fuck, I don't even know. I
- 19:55Speaker 1: just like the Netflix documentary okay, and then the highlights yeah,
- 19:59Speaker 1: because they're like ten minutes.
- 20:00Speaker 2: That's fair because I to be fair, like I was,
- 20:03Speaker 2: I was watching. I watched about five hours of golf,
- 20:06Speaker 2: but I just had it on my phone and was
- 20:09Speaker 2: editing and doing so well.
- 20:10Speaker 1: The thing I like about F one is that could
- 20:12Speaker 1: never be me. Yeah, like same as the golf. You're
- 20:15Speaker 1: playing golf. See, I can actually I can go play golf.
- 20:17Speaker 1: You can never go driving anything. I could never go
- 20:19Speaker 1: driving F one. I'm not thinking like it is gonna
- 20:21Speaker 1: be bige. I just think it's just so out of
- 20:25Speaker 1: my world that it's exciting.
- 20:26Speaker 2: It's so weird that so men in this in this
- 20:30Speaker 2: nonfiction book that I started reading again, I kind of
- 20:32Speaker 2: forgot everything.
- 20:33Speaker 1: So it's good.
- 20:34Speaker 2: It's like all very science based. They go in to
- 20:37Speaker 2: talk about in detail as to why men will get
- 20:39Speaker 2: like so emotional over sports and TV and shit, and
- 20:44Speaker 2: it's just I don't know, it's just to do with
- 20:46Speaker 2: like we can something about back in the day because
- 20:49Speaker 2: it was hunter gatherer type situations, right, and our brains
- 20:53Speaker 2: over the last fifty thousand years have barely changed.
- 20:55Speaker 1: They've changed a little bit, but barely so.
- 20:57Speaker 2: We're still our brains are like instinctively in that something
- 21:00Speaker 2: to do with being able to just like imagine being
- 21:04Speaker 2: in the seat is like it's embarrassing to say.
- 21:07Speaker 1: But I think men genuinely like feel like they're racing. Bro.
- 21:11Speaker 1: I'm glad. When I was a kid, I used to
- 21:13Speaker 1: get like so enveloped by when I was playing sport
- 21:16Speaker 1: and lost the grand final or something. Yes, But now
- 21:18Speaker 1: like I can't connect like to any sport like that
- 21:22Speaker 1: at all. Like I see some of our friends with
- 21:24Speaker 1: like footy and like grand finals and like go Paramatta
- 21:27Speaker 1: or something, and then like they lose, yeah, and they're
- 21:29Speaker 1: like really sad and angry and like full rules that day.
- 21:31Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't care. Maybe you should. Do you
- 21:33Speaker 1: get emotional at or watching the F one because is
- 21:36Speaker 1: really good at building stuff up because they made the
- 21:38Speaker 1: F one version for golf called full Swing and they
- 21:41Speaker 1: make it emotional as fuck. No, I'm not that like attached,
- 21:44Speaker 1: but do you do you relate to me crying over
- 21:46Speaker 1: Rory Macroy at all? Like seeing a favorite team winn
- 21:48Speaker 1: a grand final? Ornything? Really not really, not to that extent.
- 21:53Speaker 1: I cry, like, fuck, bro, maybe I'm a softie. Maybe
- 21:57Speaker 1: it's not a bad thing. Man, it's not a bad society.
- 22:00Speaker 1: You think it's a bad thing. I'm proud of it.
- 22:01Speaker 1: I want to lean into it. But talking about men
- 22:04Speaker 1: and how we haven't changed in what fifty million, hundred
- 22:08Speaker 1: billion years, I don't know. Do we ever? Yeah? Do
- 22:10Speaker 1: we ever? Today's IG question of the Week, Jake Yes,
- 22:15Speaker 1: is where do men find the audacity? Too? Oh? Yeah, too,
- 22:19Speaker 1: yeah too? And we asked, obviously, the IG question, and
- 22:23Speaker 1: everyone came in with some heat. Yeah no, I got
- 22:25Speaker 1: some funny ones. I think I've got like fourteen bite
- 22:30Speaker 1: and I think like a lot of the answers would
- 22:32Speaker 1: be like, our brains haven't developed in like fifty million
- 22:34Speaker 1: billion years. Fact that honest, That's what I was going on,
- 22:37Speaker 1: all right, So where do men find the audacity to
- 22:41Speaker 1: think we need them? Oh? Shit? Yeah? Honestly fair, honestly fair.
- 22:48Speaker 1: I don't know why men think that? If Where did
- 22:51Speaker 1: I see this recently? I think it was our manager
- 22:53Speaker 1: has a podcast, Mad's World Shout Out. Mad is the legend?
- 22:56Speaker 2: Didn't she talk about something about if men vanished off
- 22:59Speaker 2: the basically the earth women would do better than if
- 23:02Speaker 2: then men would do if women vanish, it's kind of facts.
- 23:06Speaker 1: I agree. Yeah. Also, if women vanish off the face
- 23:12Speaker 1: of the earth, purely for the fact of that they
- 23:14Speaker 1: are the people that literally magically bring life into this world,
- 23:19Speaker 1: they would be able to do artificial insemination because fuck
- 23:21Speaker 1: the men. Like, without us, they'd be sweet because they
- 23:23Speaker 1: can still bring people into the world, but without them
- 23:25Speaker 1: we'd be fucked. Only rebuttal is like, oh, we're strength
- 23:28Speaker 1: and size and like we could move shit. They'll figure
- 23:31Speaker 1: it out. Are you kidding? They'll just build small stuff?
- 23:33Speaker 1: Like why they just figure it out? Fucking hell? Okay,
- 23:37Speaker 1: where do men find the audacity to be ugly and
- 23:42Speaker 1: say they only want to hook up? Is that a
- 23:49Speaker 1: Is that a win for you though, you're hooking up
- 23:52Speaker 1: with an ugly man, But that means you're not in
- 23:54Speaker 1: it for the long run with him? No? Maybe maybe
- 23:57Speaker 1: it's before they've even hooked up, he's just so Maybe
- 24:00Speaker 1: if he's in it for the long run, she's willing
- 24:01Speaker 1: to be like, Okay, maybe he's a nice guy, maybe
- 24:03Speaker 1: he's got personality, he's personality.
- 24:05Speaker 2: But if he's ugly and says I'm not looking to date.
- 24:06Speaker 2: She's probably thinking, where do you get the audacity?
- 24:09Speaker 1: She's thinking like, why the fun would I want to
- 24:10Speaker 1: hook up for you? Yeah? Exactly. Imagine a guy thinks
- 24:17Speaker 1: he's got game, right, He's just like yeah, like I'm
- 24:19Speaker 1: just looking at like hook up babe, and she's thinking
- 24:22Speaker 1: he's thinking in his head like I can't wait to smash.
- 24:25Speaker 1: She's thinking like this guy's hideous, this guy's so ugly.
- 24:33Speaker 1: All right, this one's calling you out. Where do men
- 24:36Speaker 1: find the audacity to send you two minute long voice
- 24:39Speaker 1: messages and have a hundred arms and pauses in there
- 24:43Speaker 1: with no information? That is me. Quite often I start
- 24:49Speaker 1: a voice message and I know what I'm going to say, right, yeah,
- 24:53Speaker 1: And then as I'm saying it, I'm thinking, oh wait,
- 24:57Speaker 1: like that like oh wait, no, it's different now, So
- 25:00Speaker 1: then I think wait, and then I keep going and
- 25:03Speaker 1: I like, correct what I was going to say. Don't
- 25:05Speaker 1: you think to delete the voice message? And then go again.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I'm halfway through. I always get voice messages from you
- 25:12Speaker 1: and like I can see your brain thinking as you're like,
- 25:17Speaker 1: we'll I go back and forth to ideas, and then
- 25:20Speaker 1: these ideas are coming out of you the moment you
- 25:22Speaker 1: were sending this voice message, I've got a two minute
- 25:25Speaker 1: voice message like, yeah, so I think next week we
- 25:29Speaker 1: should know. Actually doubt And I've thought about it after
- 25:32Speaker 1: I've said it out loud, and I'm like, fuck, you
- 25:34Speaker 1: just wasted two minutes of my life. Yeah, two minutes
- 25:38Speaker 1: and nothing. Get off your phone. Two minutes is nothing, mate,
- 25:41Speaker 1: Two minutes is a long time. Two minutes is very long. Yeah,
- 25:44Speaker 1: take that back, you know? Who are?
- 25:48Speaker 2: I find it crazy if I if one of us
- 25:51Speaker 2: sends a one to two minute voice message in our
- 25:53Speaker 2: group chat with Maddie and I've sent it ten seconds
- 25:57Speaker 2: ago and she's already replying.
- 25:59Speaker 1: So she replying as she's listening to the voice message
- 26:02Speaker 1: and thinking how were you assuming the information? And then
- 26:06Speaker 1: also typing. I'll tell you one of our clips got
- 26:08Speaker 1: a lot of rebuttal, but I'm putting my foot down
- 26:10Speaker 1: on this one. We said, like the primetime for sex
- 26:13Speaker 1: is like seven to ten minutes. Yeah, what are they saying?
- 26:16Speaker 1: They want like forty to fifty minute sessions? Are you insane?
- 26:19Speaker 1: That's what I thought you? Actually, who's saying that? Like
- 26:21Speaker 1: all the comments? Women? Yeah? Women? I talk to my
- 26:24Speaker 1: girlfriend about it. And she's just like no, Like I
- 26:28Speaker 1: was like, maybe for a one off, if it's like
- 26:29Speaker 1: a one night stand, you want to get a bang
- 26:31Speaker 1: for your buck, you know what. But like, if you're
- 26:32Speaker 1: in a loving relationship, forty five minutes, like we're not
- 26:37Speaker 1: like four play, you can add up to like twenty third.
- 26:39Speaker 1: We're talking dick in the video insertion, Yeah, proper coitus,
- 26:44Speaker 1: Like I'll go fifteen max absolute maxim. Yeah, that's insane.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Forty forty minutes, Like it's not fun anymore. I'm not
- 26:53Speaker 1: here to get a work out. It's supposed to be enjoyable. Yeah,
- 26:55Speaker 1: and we are including both parties finish. Yeah, like that's
- 26:59Speaker 1: when job's done exactly. But I was like forty minutes,
- 27:03Speaker 1: and there was a lot of comments. I don't know
- 27:04Speaker 1: if I've ever gone for forty minutes. I was like,
- 27:06Speaker 1: I was like, I was like, maybe when I was
- 27:08Speaker 1: drunk and I couldn't come, maybe, yeah, you can just
- 27:11Speaker 1: keep going. Yeah, I don't think it's not fine at
- 27:14Speaker 1: the end of you like, I don't know what's going on.
- 27:16Speaker 1: That's a great point. Yeah, that's a very good point.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Forty minutes.
- 27:20Speaker 2: I reckon all those people that commented that just haven't
- 27:22Speaker 2: had sex, and it's just like, remember how one of
- 27:24Speaker 2: the ones we had was like, what was your misconception
- 27:27Speaker 2: of sex? And someone said I thought it was supposed
- 27:28Speaker 2: to last an hour?
- 27:29Speaker 1: Yeah, all those people common misconception of sex. All right,
- 27:33Speaker 1: if someone's doing it properly, you're gonna come within fifteen minutes.
- 27:36Speaker 1: And I'm not saying that in a cocky way. True.
- 27:38Speaker 1: If you're in love, both parties, you guys figure each
- 27:41Speaker 1: other out. We're about everyone winning.
- 27:43Speaker 2: And if your boyfriend doesn't do it within fifteen minutes,
- 27:45Speaker 2: start talking about it.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Yeah, you can get him there, trust me. Yeah, toys,
- 27:49Speaker 1: Yeah you can get him there somehow. Love honey free
- 27:51Speaker 1: shout out.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Where do men find the audacity to tell me to
- 27:58Speaker 2: drink more water when I have ahead?
- 28:01Speaker 1: I don't know either Science Science Bill the science guy exactly?
- 28:06Speaker 1: Has Bill and I ever done an episode on that?
- 28:08Speaker 1: Probably I saw a science bro.
- 28:11Speaker 2: I can Jim Science bread the other day make a
- 28:12Speaker 2: video saying stop taking panatole when you have a headache.
- 28:15Speaker 2: It's probably you're probably just dehydrated, So do this instead.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Fair mate, Jim Science pros biggest red flags when you
- 28:26Speaker 1: see like an absolute sorry stereotype jack guy. And he's
- 28:30Speaker 1: got like a white like trench coat on or whatever
- 28:32Speaker 1: whatever their scientific coats are, and he's just spitting facts.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Like I can't take an this information. I can't. I
- 28:37Speaker 1: can't take this. You've got this information from the back
- 28:39Speaker 1: of a protein. Where do men find the audacity to
- 28:46Speaker 1: spit randomly on the ground? Fair?
- 28:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to say, sometimes just build up, just
- 28:56Speaker 2: build up.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Yeah, And it's it's a bit grossed. After a while,
- 29:00Speaker 1: you get so much spin in your mouth it's a
- 29:01Speaker 1: bit gross to swallow it. Oh yeah, if it's a golly,
- 29:06Speaker 1: you can't swallow that ship Yeah, Like if you're sick
- 29:08Speaker 1: and you've got a gully and you want to spit
- 29:10Speaker 1: it out like fair. But like if some guy's just
- 29:12Speaker 1: like spitting, that's a bit weird. If this poor bloke
- 29:14Speaker 1: has a chest infection, I didn't so if girls obviously
- 29:17Speaker 1: get gollies, like I don't know, a flam build up
- 29:19Speaker 1: in the back of their throat, they have to, it's
- 29:21Speaker 1: like from a chest infection. Must they must? Just I
- 29:23Speaker 1: thought they speed on the ground too. Maybe they do
- 29:26Speaker 1: it in private, they're like do it in like a
- 29:30Speaker 1: T shirt shirt tissue or something hanky. Maybe hold of that.
- 29:36Speaker 1: It's a good point. My dad carries an dade that
- 29:40Speaker 1: speaks volumes age. When do you reckon, we'll get a hanky.
- 29:44Speaker 1: I'm never holding a hanky ever in my life. Are
- 29:46Speaker 1: you kidding? I bet you. You said you're never going
- 29:47Speaker 1: to play golf. I bet you no. I've never once
- 29:49Speaker 1: said that. You said you never never get a cry
- 29:52Speaker 1: to a golf game. Look at you now, never going
- 29:54Speaker 1: to read two books at once. I would have said that,
- 29:56Speaker 1: give it six months. I would have said that I
- 29:58Speaker 1: have four and six months, so Jack can be walking around.
- 30:04Speaker 1: You've seen the golfies an achey in case you go,
- 30:06Speaker 1: I'll be.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Walking around wearing like a master's shirt, a golf master's shirt,
- 30:11Speaker 2: and I have four different books in my hand. Everywhere
- 30:14Speaker 2: I go, and every respec second I have a'll open
- 30:15Speaker 2: it and be like, oh, you guys need me.
- 30:17Speaker 1: It's busy, Okay, I'm yours. Where do men find the
- 30:23Speaker 1: audacity to not be hungry when their girlfriend is asking
- 30:27Speaker 1: should we get a snack? I don't know. Learn yeah,
- 30:30Speaker 1: one hundred percent. Always hungry when you're around your girl.
- 30:32Speaker 1: Have to be, especially if sweetwet, you don't love her
- 30:34Speaker 1: if you don't. Where do men find the audacity to
- 30:39Speaker 1: buzz cut their hair after a breakup and say they won?
- 30:42Speaker 1: Oi fact? Because I had one that said where do
- 30:46Speaker 1: men find the audacity to shave their heads? And I
- 30:49Speaker 1: wanted to talk about why. Even if a man's single
- 30:53Speaker 1: or in a relationship, quite often it is when they
- 30:55Speaker 1: break up. Why do why do they shave their heads?
- 30:58Speaker 1: It's like the hot boy era thing. This really hot.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Some girls do like it, like Chang Tatum, he can
- 31:04Speaker 1: rock it hot, but like guy bad people with a
- 31:07Speaker 1: shaved head hot. He's got a good hairline, because I
- 31:10Speaker 1: see if I had the strongest fuck hairline, I actually
- 31:12Speaker 1: would because it's annoying. Yeah, it's actually like very like
- 31:16Speaker 1: to be fair to guys if they wanted to do it.
- 31:18Speaker 1: It's quite practical, really good to work out here. You go, Yeah,
- 31:21Speaker 1: you don't have to really like wash it or gone
- 31:23Speaker 1: into summer. Yeah, sweat. It's really nice. But after a
- 31:26Speaker 1: while you're like, I don't know, it's a bit it's
- 31:27Speaker 1: a bit weird to just to like rub a fairy
- 31:29Speaker 1: tennis ball every once, and also you.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Either have to keep shaving it back to that length
- 31:34Speaker 2: because it really does if you can pull it off.
- 31:36Speaker 2: It only looks good when it's very short, yeah, or
- 31:39Speaker 2: the other. The only other option is to just really
- 31:41Speaker 2: go through this ugly, awkward phase where it starts to grow.
- 31:44Speaker 1: It's really ugly and awkward and just you need it
- 31:45Speaker 1: to and it takes a while to Geeah. I did
- 31:48Speaker 1: it after bleurch in my hair, and there's like a full,
- 31:50Speaker 1: like three to six months period where you can't like
- 31:52Speaker 1: you don't have any flow, but also like you can't
- 31:54Speaker 1: do anything with you have no control over style. No,
- 31:56Speaker 1: it's just you are under the Yeah, you're under its control. Yeah,
- 32:00Speaker 1: lest she does what it wants. Okay, I'll go, I'll go.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Where do men find the audacity to want to take
- 32:09Speaker 1: a shower with you and then complain that the water
- 32:11Speaker 1: is too hot? I feel like the iggiest thing a
- 32:16Speaker 1: guy can do is like when your girl says I'm
- 32:18Speaker 1: having a share, He's like, oh, where's mine, where's my
- 32:21Speaker 1: It's fine, come in and it's too hot. I like,
- 32:26Speaker 1: choose not to shower my girlfriend it's too hot? Yeah, same,
- 32:29Speaker 1: especially after like a good seven to eight minute session.
- 32:31Speaker 1: But I need to cool down and she's got it
- 32:35Speaker 1: on full pelt. Yeah, even like in the middle of
- 32:37Speaker 1: the summer, my girlfriend will sleep with doing a blanket
- 32:41Speaker 1: and I'm here with a sheet and I'm like, do
- 32:43Speaker 1: you not feel the heat? No? I get too hot.
- 32:45Speaker 1: That must be so nice. I get so hot, Like
- 32:46Speaker 1: I'm envious. Same. I actually kind of wish I ran
- 32:49Speaker 1: cold the same. Then I would be able to just
- 32:51Speaker 1: all year round use a blanket. But Beth, I don't
- 32:55Speaker 1: like sharing with her, I can I Usually she does
- 32:58Speaker 1: hotter than me, and I'll just turn it down. She
- 32:59Speaker 1: cops it, but she's a fucking hog in the shower. Bro,
- 33:03Speaker 1: I just down there. The icky thing ever right, here's
- 33:06Speaker 1: the inky thing ever? Right? Is bet? I give him
- 33:08Speaker 1: the shower with Beth.
- 33:09Speaker 3: I asked her to have a shower with her, right,
- 33:11Speaker 3: I turn it down because it's too hot, and then
- 33:13Speaker 3: she's hogging all the water.
- 33:14Speaker 1: And I'm just sitting there here like.
- 33:15Speaker 3: A fucking dweed, just like a little quef boy, fucking
- 33:18Speaker 3: just looking all naked with like a shriveled dick because
- 33:21Speaker 3: it's cold in the bathroom and I'm not wet, just
- 33:24Speaker 3: like some cut in the corner.
- 33:29Speaker 1: I think I used the word quef boy. I meant
- 33:31Speaker 1: to say was looking for the word a fard point. Yeah,
- 33:38Speaker 1: I was. That's so embarrassed, Like the detailed description of it,
- 33:42Speaker 1: I could really picture and for some reason, I'm picturing
- 33:45Speaker 1: the showers really long. Just it's just like a shower,
- 33:51Speaker 1: like no man plant. The good thing about like my
- 33:55Speaker 1: show is there's like no room too, Like you're both
- 33:57Speaker 1: under the water no matter what. Looks like a creep.
- 34:03Speaker 1: What did she say? She just doesn't care. She's like,
- 34:06Speaker 1: I need to wash my face. You'n't even looking at me.
- 34:09Speaker 1: She's just like, you just turn around, Well you should
- 34:12Speaker 1: turn around and just start like stretching full spread. She's
- 34:24Speaker 1: like just using my time. Wisely, babe, you're in the water.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Fucking holy ship. Where do men find the audacity to
- 34:40Speaker 1: act like a dick when they're ugly? Fox? Bro? Men
- 34:48Speaker 1: fully do?
- 34:49Speaker 2: That's like last week how we had the one that
- 34:50Speaker 2: said why do men that are five's actually nine point five?
- 34:53Speaker 1: Oh? Man? I feel I feel I feel like to
- 34:56Speaker 1: be honest though, like jenneral wise, all the hot guys
- 35:02Speaker 1: used to get all the girls when we're going through school. Yeah,
- 35:04Speaker 1: but like the six sevens, not really the eights that
- 35:07Speaker 1: don't really exist now with more personality and substance started
- 35:10Speaker 1: to get all the nice, really good looking girls too.
- 35:12Speaker 2: They did, and then they and also I find all
- 35:15Speaker 2: the guys that were like the quote unquote like old guys.
- 35:16Speaker 1: They kind of hit puberty slightly earlier. The pheromones came
- 35:19Speaker 1: out earlier. So even though they're ugly, they just had
- 35:22Speaker 1: more pheromones and that's what girls like. And now they
- 35:24Speaker 1: have no hair because I learned fair I have heaps.
- 35:29Speaker 1: I learned in my in my new book, I'm reading
- 35:32Speaker 1: that within like three.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Seconds, a woman, if she is ovulating, maybe even not
- 35:40Speaker 2: ovulating through like a man's pheromones, she will be attracted
- 35:44Speaker 2: to a guy even if he's like quote unquote ugly,
- 35:48Speaker 2: because her brain will be able to figure out if
- 35:51Speaker 2: his immune system is strong through his pheromones. Really, so
- 35:53Speaker 2: it's like, oh, I want to have a kid with
- 35:54Speaker 2: him because my kids will have a strong immune system.
- 35:56Speaker 1: So he's like unconscious of SUBCONTI brain. SUBCONTI brain. It does.
- 36:00Speaker 2: But then and so if you guys attractive, yeah, like yeah,
- 36:04Speaker 2: and has a shit immune system, and she can somehow
- 36:07Speaker 2: figure it out that guy's ugly.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Yeah, what that one over there makes some much sense.
- 36:12Speaker 1: The best thing happened to me the other day. I
- 36:15Speaker 1: was having like an intimate kissing session with my girlfriend.
- 36:17Speaker 1: I got some new just basic re zoneer deodorant O.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Because she's like, you smell so good. She's oculating, She's like,
- 36:27Speaker 1: did you put on clone? It's just fucking rezone and
- 36:29Speaker 1: the odorantsious, it's just my natural sk.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Oh god, Okay, where do men find the audacity to
- 36:40Speaker 2: think three in one shampoo users deserve soulmates?
- 36:46Speaker 1: That's mean to be fair. If you can get away
- 36:52Speaker 1: with it and your skin and your hair still looks healthy,
- 36:55Speaker 1: like you're saving money exactly. Yeah, he's saving money for you.
- 36:58Speaker 1: And the long line, yeah, Like, Unluckily for me, I
- 37:02Speaker 1: had bad skin, so I had to go to the
- 37:04Speaker 1: actual root of finding like good products, do the right things.
- 37:07Speaker 1: But if I had blessed skin you used to do
- 37:09Speaker 1: used to use train run, I still would. If I
- 37:11Speaker 1: didn't have a girlfriend, would you would use like twenty
- 37:14Speaker 1: and one? I would use yeah, five in one. I
- 37:18Speaker 1: don't even know what five different things, But I would
- 37:22Speaker 1: wash my face with a barus soap. Really, I don't
- 37:26Speaker 1: wash my face, so if I did it, we'd be
- 37:28Speaker 1: better than nothing. I can't believe you don't wash your
- 37:30Speaker 1: face a I don't watch fast. I saw a video
- 37:32Speaker 1: of these two people, I think they were roommates, and
- 37:34Speaker 1: she's like, oh, show me how you wash your face,
- 37:36Speaker 1: and he used hand soap. Yeah, that's what I do,
- 37:38Speaker 1: and then just put on his face and she was like,
- 37:39Speaker 1: what the fuck you would it's all soap. She's like,
- 37:42Speaker 1: that's your hands, Like it's still your skin. Boy, you
- 37:45Speaker 1: might relate to this. I the other day the dish soap,
- 37:50Speaker 1: the one that like gets grease off of stuff. If
- 37:52Speaker 1: I'm if I filled the dish washer and I need
- 37:55Speaker 1: to do some dishes, the dish slape like fox my hands. Yeah,
- 37:57Speaker 1: they make some like real dry so I said to
- 37:59Speaker 1: Beth the other day, Oh, do you have any hand cream?
- 38:01Speaker 1: I just my hands are all fucked up. And then
- 38:04Speaker 1: a little while it was that night maybe she said.
- 38:08Speaker 1: I don't know how we got onto the topic, but
- 38:09Speaker 1: she goes, oh, which cream did you use for your hands?
- 38:11Speaker 1: And I was like, all that one in the orange
- 38:12Speaker 1: bottle and it was a face cream. She fucking lost here.
- 38:15Speaker 1: She was like, you can't use your face it's expensive.
- 38:18Speaker 1: All your hands need is like a two dollar cream.
- 38:20Speaker 1: And I was like that's the same thing. What if
- 38:22Speaker 1: I just put it on my face? There you go,
- 38:25Speaker 1: use on my hands in my face? How do you
- 38:27Speaker 1: know I didn't do that exactly? How do you know
- 38:30Speaker 1: I didn't do that? Bitch? Where do men find the
- 38:36Speaker 1: audacity to tell you to calm down? Oh? I hate
- 38:40Speaker 1: that A when they don't like realize the magnitude or
- 38:43Speaker 1: the problem or invalidate your feelings. Well, this is a
- 38:46Speaker 1: serious one too. Where do men find the audacity to
- 38:49Speaker 1: whistle to women in the street facts? Yeah? I hate yeah? Where? Yeah?
- 38:54Speaker 1: What do you mean calling people out for that? Yeah? Yes,
- 38:56Speaker 1: Like I don't know, just boils my blood. A it's
- 38:59Speaker 1: piercing down and outside. Yeah, we might need a pause,
- 39:02Speaker 1: wait for it to stop. Alrighty. Where do men find
- 39:05Speaker 1: the audacity to ignore leg day because it fucking sucks?
- 39:10Speaker 1: I don't think it's worth it. I don't think it's
- 39:12Speaker 1: worth it either. I think I've hurt my knee because
- 39:14Speaker 1: of my double leg day in one week. Really, yeah,
- 39:16Speaker 1: I think that's what it's from. That's where you find
- 39:17Speaker 1: the audacity. Yeah, it's not audacity, it's proof. Yeah, it's proof.
- 39:21Speaker 1: I always defend scientific proof. I will defend this to
- 39:23Speaker 1: the day we might trench coat. Yeah, where do men
- 39:27Speaker 1: find the audacity to be a fuck boy when they
- 39:30Speaker 1: can't fuck properly? Yeah? Learn if you're doing it so often? Man?
- 39:38Speaker 2: You see what I want to know and get the
- 39:40Speaker 2: girlipops to comment, is if a guy was let's say,
- 39:48Speaker 2: I don't know, you slept with a guy right, you
- 39:51Speaker 2: didn't know it was a fuck boy yet, but then
- 39:52Speaker 2: he ends up he's fucked you over if the if
- 39:55Speaker 2: the sex was kind of average, is it worse than
- 39:59Speaker 2: if the X was great. I'm not giving anyone an
- 40:03Speaker 2: excuse to be a fuck boy, but if you're going
- 40:05Speaker 2: to be a fuck boy, like you may as well
- 40:07Speaker 2: give the people you're gonna suck around with a good time,
- 40:09Speaker 2: you might as well fuck. Yeah, So I wonder is
- 40:12Speaker 2: it like, has anyone ever been but properly fucked? It
- 40:15Speaker 2: was great and the guy was a fuck boy, and
- 40:17Speaker 2: you thought, you know what good experience?
- 40:19Speaker 1: I saw another podcast describe they're like question ID, Question
- 40:23Speaker 1: of the Week or whatever they do. Similar was like,
- 40:25Speaker 1: what does a bad dig feel like? What were the answers?
- 40:28Speaker 1: And it was just like it's in there, but like
- 40:32Speaker 1: it doesn't really feel very nice. Yeah, like this doesn't
- 40:36Speaker 1: hit any spots at all, and the frequency and like
- 40:39Speaker 1: the movements just like not vibing you.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Oh that doesn't feel nice at all and I've never
- 40:44Speaker 2: felt it.
- 40:48Speaker 1: I wonder if you know, like the moment it goes in?
- 40:52Speaker 1: Good question. Yeah, it's gonna be a good sash. That's
- 40:55Speaker 1: a great question. Answer comment. Do you know what's going
- 41:00Speaker 1: to be good as soon as it goes in? Yeah,
- 41:02Speaker 1: that's a great question. My last one, where do men
- 41:05Speaker 1: find the audacity to not want to spend time with me?
- 41:10Speaker 1: Maybe you're annoying. I'm kidding. I'm sure you're not annoying
- 41:17Speaker 1: because you're a baddie. That's too quick.
- 41:26Speaker 2: My mom went, Okay, I got my last one. Where
- 41:29Speaker 2: do men find the audacity to say we are pregnant?
- 41:33Speaker 1: Ah, I'm thinking like in a loving relationship. Yeah, I'm
- 41:40Speaker 1: trying to think of like if Beth gets I know,
- 41:43Speaker 1: I'm trying to think if Beth and I trying for
- 41:45Speaker 1: a kid and then we get successful, right, and then
- 41:47Speaker 1: we go have dinner with my parents whatever. Yeah, I
- 41:49Speaker 1: feel like what I'm going to say is, oh, we
- 41:51Speaker 1: need to tell you something. Beth is pregnant, not we
- 41:54Speaker 1: are pregnant, and Beth is pregnant definitely contextually like what matters. Yeah,
- 41:59Speaker 1: but so like if you if that did happen, then
- 42:02Speaker 1: you said to your parents, we are pregnant. But I
- 42:04Speaker 1: don't know, I didn't think that was like yeah, you
- 42:06Speaker 1: know what fure it. You can't say we, It's got
- 42:09Speaker 1: to be Vets pregnant or Cassie pregnant or you. Yeah,
- 42:11Speaker 1: you can't say we your girlfriend if you or your wife, yes,
- 42:15Speaker 1: that's what if she wants to say we are pregnant,
- 42:17Speaker 1: by all means, that's what it doesn't give you say yes, yes,
- 42:21Speaker 1: You still have to say yes. They should say there
- 42:23Speaker 1: you go, and you say them yes. Welcome to Relatable
- 42:33Speaker 1: book Club, where we will fuck on a journey reading
- 42:38Speaker 1: some of the finest pieces of literature.
- 42:40Speaker 2: If you've ever laid eyes by is if that's your
- 42:43Speaker 2: preferred way to consume a book, A Court.
- 42:46Speaker 1: Of Thorns and Roses, I love it, Let's go love it.
- 42:53Speaker 1: I do need to I do need to remember to
- 42:54Speaker 1: put relatables baddies book Club. And then at the end
- 42:57Speaker 1: of it, I think we'll leave it at that and
- 42:59Speaker 1: at the because each time we read a new book,
- 43:01Speaker 1: we'll just say yeah, I like I kind of liked it,
- 43:04Speaker 1: like it's not like properly produced. Okay, sweet, I kind
- 43:06Speaker 1: of like it. It's got Jake's person to catch it. Yeah, yeah, beginner,
- 43:09Speaker 1: Yeah yeah. Relatables Baddies book Club is back in session.
- 43:16Speaker 1: As you guys know, I need to add the confession
- 43:18Speaker 1: to have gone one chapter too far. Yeah, your dog.
- 43:20Speaker 2: So I don't actually know what I can say, and
- 43:21Speaker 2: I don't know how much information was in that last chapter.
- 43:26Speaker 1: You cheated on me? I did? I did. We're up
- 43:28Speaker 1: to chapter thirteen, and for everyone reading along with us,
- 43:33Speaker 1: we welcome you to this session. So what are our
- 43:37Speaker 1: new thoughts and feelings on the book so far? I'm obsessed, bro,
- 43:41Speaker 1: really fucking obsessed. Oh I this book. Okay.
- 43:47Speaker 2: You know when you're watching a Netflix series and it's
- 43:50Speaker 2: getting late and the end of the episode has a cliffhanger,
- 43:54Speaker 2: and you're pissed because you have to watch another one
- 43:57Speaker 2: because you have to find out what happens right now,
- 43:58Speaker 2: you can't wait, you want to sleep.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Wise, this book loves the cliffhanger. This book, it's the
- 44:04Speaker 1: equivalent feeling I ever thought I feel this way about
- 44:06Speaker 1: a book. Yeah, of excitement to read the next chapter,
- 44:10Speaker 1: because of the cliffhanger in the last Okay, okay, Jake,
- 44:14Speaker 1: I'm going to disagree with you here. Really, this book's long.
- 44:17Speaker 1: That ten chapters. Nothing happened, stop's happening, nothing happened. Oh
- 44:21Speaker 1: I'm loving it. It was so slow like that, the
- 44:24Speaker 1: first seven of them. Slow slow, slow slow slow burn
- 44:28Speaker 1: slow burn. Yeah, yeah, very slow. I love a slow burn,
- 44:30Speaker 1: really love? Are you loving it so much because of
- 44:33Speaker 1: what like we've created with the baut His book club
- 44:35Speaker 1: or actually like the book? See here's the thing. It
- 44:39Speaker 1: doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. No, no, no, no, no,
- 44:41Speaker 1: fair fair fair, fair fair. I still I'm still enjoying it. Yeah, okay, good,
- 44:45Speaker 1: but definitely dissecting the book. It's long. Okay, no, it's
- 44:48Speaker 1: long book. It's very slow. I could have read twenty chapters.
- 44:53Speaker 1: Freyer is now in Fabra is now in Prithian. Yeah,
- 44:57Speaker 1: so where we left off our predictions wrong. You were
- 45:00Speaker 1: right about how she killed a fairy. She did kill
- 45:02Speaker 1: a fairy. Yeah so.
- 45:03Speaker 2: And it's also I was pronouncing it fairy last week.
- 45:06Speaker 2: It's fairy like actual fairy like, it's fairy. She killed
- 45:09Speaker 2: the fairy.
- 45:09Speaker 1: Andreas, Yes, that was Dreas his name, and he was
- 45:13Speaker 1: actually a high Faye. Yeah damn. And now she's in
- 45:17Speaker 1: Prithian and like the first like seven chapters, is her
- 45:24Speaker 1: just trying to like figure out ways to like escape
- 45:26Speaker 1: this pres Well, okay, so she place is sick with
- 45:30Speaker 1: the whole. Yeah. Fact, so with the whole.
- 45:35Speaker 2: Prithian and the mortal lands in the wall. With the treaty,
- 45:37Speaker 2: there's a law that if a mortal kills a high
- 45:42Speaker 2: pay maybe even a fairy, yeah, kills one, then they
- 45:46Speaker 2: have to give a life. Yeah, and the life you
- 45:50Speaker 2: can give. She could have given her dad or one
- 45:52Speaker 2: of her sisters, but she obviously chose to go herself
- 45:54Speaker 2: to save them. And so when we ended when you
- 45:57Speaker 2: know how we were talking about the cliffhanger at the
- 45:58Speaker 2: end of chapter three, how it was like massive beast
- 46:00Speaker 2: and so it ends up being another high Fae and he's.
- 46:04Speaker 1: A fucking weapon by the way. Tamlin Tamlin, Yeah, oh
- 46:08Speaker 1: my god. Well Tamlin actually wanted her because she killed
- 46:13Speaker 1: the fair She want she did want He did want her,
- 46:16Speaker 1: but then he could she could have sent someone else, Yeah,
- 46:19Speaker 1: but she goes, no, take me, and then yeah, she
- 46:21Speaker 1: wakes up and she's thinking she keeps on going. I
- 46:24Speaker 1: don't know what I was thinking, but yeah, she's in this.
- 46:27Speaker 1: It sounds beautiful, it sounds amazing, Like, what are you picturing?
- 46:30Speaker 2: I'm picturing so because of what my mind is thinking.
- 46:36Speaker 2: So I'm picturing not so you know in Lord of
- 46:39Speaker 2: the Rings when oh no, it's in the Hobbit.
- 46:42Speaker 1: I was thinking the Hobbit. So, you know in the
- 46:43Speaker 1: Hobbit when they go to that Elvish city and it's beautiful.
- 46:48Speaker 1: So I'm thinking it's as beautiful as that, but it's
- 46:52Speaker 1: not like a big castle type thing like that. It's
- 46:54Speaker 1: more of a manner. I'm thinking more grass, yeah, lots,
- 46:57Speaker 1: I just.
- 46:58Speaker 2: It's more flat. But I'm on equivalent as beautiful. That's
- 47:02Speaker 2: what I'm thinking.
- 47:02Speaker 1: Yeah. And then interestingly the fairies. Tamlin and we got
- 47:07Speaker 1: introduced to Lucian. Lucian. Do you say Lucian in your
- 47:10Speaker 1: head or Lucien? I said Lucian, Yeah, I say Lucien
- 47:12Speaker 1: to yeah, Lucian, Yeah, are looking after Preyra. Now, well,
- 47:17Speaker 1: Lucian originally goes, I would want to gut this bitch. Yeah,
- 47:20Speaker 1: He's like, I want to fucking gut you kill not allowed.
- 47:22Speaker 1: Tamlin's not letting me. Yeah, but Tamlin said in this
- 47:25Speaker 1: is where it ended, she just overheard their conversation and
- 47:29Speaker 1: Tamlin's dad killed heaps of mortals before, yes, and he
- 47:34Speaker 1: doesn't want to be like his dad. He's the thing though,
- 47:37Speaker 1: I think he did want to be like his dad
- 47:39Speaker 1: until he met Favor. Because Lucian's going, why are you
- 47:42Speaker 1: veering off our path? And he goes, that was my
- 47:45Speaker 1: dad's path.
- 47:45Speaker 2: I will not be like him, and I think it's
- 47:48Speaker 2: because of Favra. He keeps on saying stuff like you're
- 47:50Speaker 2: not what I would have thought as a human.
- 47:52Speaker 1: Yeah, And he keeps like complimenting, like how do you
- 47:54Speaker 1: learn to hunt and chair? You can't even fucking rite,
- 47:56Speaker 1: And he always is sounding like very impressed. He goes,
- 48:00Speaker 1: so you just taught yourself to hunt?
- 48:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and she's like, yeah, I needed to survive, don't
- 48:06Speaker 2: you know what that's like?
- 48:07Speaker 1: Yeah, privilege. It sort of sounded like, yeah, here's the
- 48:14Speaker 1: thing that's pissing me off of Favor, right.
- 48:15Speaker 2: She keeps on talking about she's preferring to be friends
- 48:17Speaker 2: with Lucian, Yeah, but she only wants to be friends
- 48:20Speaker 2: with Lucian to get to Tamlin because she wants to
- 48:23Speaker 2: try and get someone to convince Hamlin to let her
- 48:24Speaker 2: go home, and he's like, no, there's a.
- 48:26Speaker 1: Why does she want to go home? By they're looking
- 48:27Speaker 1: after her family, saying I keep on thinking that. But
- 48:29Speaker 1: then at the same time, I'm thinking if I got taken,
- 48:31Speaker 1: even if it was a nice place, it's like, oh
- 48:32Speaker 1: my family that they were fucked anyway, they were annoying.
- 48:36Speaker 2: She also he got her good with manipulation, because she
- 48:39Speaker 2: ends up talking about how she feels as though she's
- 48:43Speaker 2: not fulilling her mother's promise anymore.
- 48:45Speaker 1: He goes, but you are, Yeah, that was good by
- 48:46Speaker 1: being here.
- 48:47Speaker 2: You are because your family is alive. Because of that,
- 48:49Speaker 2: they're providable and I am taking care of them. And
- 48:52Speaker 2: also fairies can't lie, so they must be being taken
- 48:55Speaker 2: care of. I want her to go try and find him,
- 48:56Speaker 2: though I'm keen ass Yeah, I all right?
- 48:59Speaker 1: So what do you want the next predictions? Or we
- 49:02Speaker 1: actually have a few new like what would they be
- 49:05Speaker 1: called the bog and the Pookah.
- 49:07Speaker 2: Yeah, so the Pooka tried to Actually, here's one thing
- 49:10Speaker 2: actually I just want to say about Favor and Tamlin
- 49:13Speaker 2: is I just want Federer to come out and admit
- 49:16Speaker 2: that she wants to be railed by Tamlin.
- 49:18Speaker 1: Do you reckon that's what's gonna happen. Yes, For some
- 49:20Speaker 1: reason in my head, like I'm picturing she's so small
- 49:24Speaker 1: and these two are like giants.
- 49:25Speaker 2: See I was picturing that too, But I think it's
- 49:28Speaker 2: more I've really tried to shift. They actually when he
- 49:32Speaker 2: because Tamlin's the only one that can shape shift. But
- 49:34Speaker 2: then he could also like he could turn Lucian into
- 49:37Speaker 2: a wolf or a fox or something if he wanted to.
- 49:40Speaker 2: And the reason Andres was a wolf is because Tamlin
- 49:42Speaker 2: turned into a wolf. Yeah, so Tamlin has he's like
- 49:45Speaker 2: powerful as fuck and so but I think but it's
- 49:48Speaker 2: purely because Tamlin is the main character and he's the
- 49:51Speaker 2: one that's kind of trying to get connected with Farr,
- 49:54Speaker 2: but she's like, go away.
- 49:55Speaker 1: But then every time she goes. He turned around and
- 49:57Speaker 1: the muscles shown in his shirt. I was like, just
- 49:59Speaker 1: just say, you want to to rail you? What do
- 50:04Speaker 1: you think is gonna happen? I don't know, hard to tell.
- 50:08Speaker 1: I don't think they're gonna fuck I do I think that.
- 50:11Speaker 1: I think Fayrah and Tamlin. I think that it's going
- 50:15Speaker 1: to be a thing that I feel like they become
- 50:17Speaker 1: a couple, but mortals and fairies, it.
- 50:20Speaker 2: Will be frowned upon, but they will become a couple.
- 50:22Speaker 2: But also there's a point in the book where in
- 50:27Speaker 2: these chapters where what does Lucian talk about. He's talking
- 50:33Speaker 2: to Feirah and it's it's when they run into the Bogue,
- 50:35Speaker 2: which we'll touch on, but he starts talking to her
- 50:38Speaker 2: in the bog. The bogue's probably whatever you yeah.
- 50:42Speaker 1: I'll say bog I he says something, he's talking and
- 50:46Speaker 1: then he goes, he gets all likes mysterious and goes,
- 50:50Speaker 1: I can't say that she'll I can't have her know
- 50:52Speaker 1: I'm telling you this or something.
- 50:54Speaker 2: So I think there might be someone even higher up
- 50:56Speaker 2: than Tamlin, and it's a it's a woman of and
- 51:00Speaker 2: there's in Prithian Feyra said that she knows there is
- 51:04Speaker 2: seven high lords and Tamlin's just a high faye.
- 51:07Speaker 1: Okay, high fairy. I don't know. Interesting, I think, Okay,
- 51:11Speaker 1: he's my prediction. I think Tamlin and Freira will not
- 51:16Speaker 1: get together, but Tamlin will pick her over Lucien and
- 51:22Speaker 1: Lucian will go in his separate ways. Oh okay, Lucian's
- 51:25Speaker 1: just gonna get pissed. Yeah, okay, I don't know. And
- 51:29Speaker 1: then like way way way down the track, they'll fuck,
- 51:32Speaker 1: but they're not going to fuck for ages. I think
- 51:34Speaker 1: they're just gonna be like bff who can't admit their
- 51:36Speaker 1: feelings for each other. Okay, that's my pred interesting I
- 51:39Speaker 1: dis agree. Really, you reckon there's gonna be a sexy scene.
- 51:43Speaker 1: I reckon.
- 51:45Speaker 2: I think there won't be a sexy scene for about
- 51:49Speaker 2: twenty chapters. But I do think that we're gonna start
- 51:53Speaker 2: seeing Fayra admit that she just wants to get digged
- 51:57Speaker 2: down by Tamlin.
- 51:59Speaker 1: She's gonna keep talking about his muscles, She's gonna keep
- 52:01Speaker 1: talking about that golden hair and that piercing eye. Yeah,
- 52:03Speaker 1: and she's gonna I hope she stops thinking of all
- 52:06Speaker 1: these ideas to like run away and kill someone. I'm like,
- 52:08Speaker 1: you're not killing anyone.
- 52:10Speaker 2: Think that I think she will, But I do think
- 52:12Speaker 2: that she's going to go and try.
- 52:14Speaker 1: To find someone. There's different. So there's the Bogue and
- 52:20Speaker 1: the Pookah. We'll talk about them quickly, but there was
- 52:22Speaker 1: one more there's one more big person, which is kind
- 52:24Speaker 1: of like a really old person or a really old
- 52:28Speaker 1: fairy that has a lot of knowledge about the sickness
- 52:31Speaker 1: that's on Prithian. Oh, yeah, there's a sickness on Prithian.
- 52:33Speaker 1: We've got to say that that might bitch up to fourteen. Okay,
- 52:36Speaker 1: I haven't read that. No, you did, you have? Yeah,
- 52:40Speaker 1: they just alluded to there's heaps of weird things going
- 52:42Speaker 1: on on his like manner.
- 52:43Speaker 2: Yeah, no, that they talked about that, you must have.
- 52:46Speaker 2: You must have just missed it, because they definitely talked
- 52:48Speaker 2: about that before chapter thirteen. Okay, But there's like a
- 52:51Speaker 2: thing called like the blight or something on Prithian and
- 52:55Speaker 2: it the reason that their masks or the or the
- 52:59Speaker 2: high Fhae and the fairy have masks when they're in
- 53:01Speaker 2: human forms stuck to their face is because back in
- 53:04Speaker 2: the day they had a party. Because they're all immortal,
- 53:07Speaker 2: they don't die. Yeah, just back in the day they
- 53:10Speaker 2: had a party and the party was a masquerade party.
- 53:14Speaker 2: And then that's when the sickness fell on Printhian. And
- 53:17Speaker 2: one of the things that the sickness did was made
- 53:19Speaker 2: it so these masks don't come off their face.
- 53:21Speaker 1: Yeah, it's kind of cool. This would be a sick movie,
- 53:24Speaker 1: is it. It's new, it's relatively relatively new. This becomes
- 53:29Speaker 1: a show, bro, I have no idea it should be. Well,
- 53:31Speaker 1: it's so successful. I'm in that if it's a show.
- 53:33Speaker 1: I was thinking when I was reading it, this would
- 53:35Speaker 1: be so much better as a TV series. I would
- 53:37Speaker 1: love to watch it sick. It's so intricate. Yeah, but
- 53:40Speaker 1: who's the bog? The bogue is you can't look at them,
- 53:44Speaker 1: they get in your head. And Tamlin's just kill one
- 53:46Speaker 1: and hurt his hand. Yeah. So yeah, when they're out hunting,
- 53:50Speaker 1: Lucian and Fayr goes for a hunt with Lucian because
- 53:53Speaker 1: it was actually Andres Andreas's shift, but she killed Andreas
- 53:57Speaker 1: and so she's out hunting and then Lucian just goes
- 54:02Speaker 1: stop like just look ahead and don't move your eyes,
- 54:06Speaker 1: and then she starts hearing these voices and this cold
- 54:08Speaker 1: air around her and these voices, and then it finally
- 54:10Speaker 1: goes away and she goes, what was that And he
- 54:12Speaker 1: said it was a bogue. If you were to have
- 54:14Speaker 1: made eye contact or look, that's when it can turn
- 54:16Speaker 1: into an actual being and kill you and then he
- 54:18Speaker 1: goes to dinner and says to Tamila, I'm like, oh,
- 54:20Speaker 1: in the westwards there was a bogue and Tamilin gets
- 54:22Speaker 1: all pissed and just goes and chases after it. And
- 54:24Speaker 1: because Lucian says to Farah earlier that they're unkillable, and
- 54:27Speaker 1: then she goes to Lucian, well, where's Tamalin going. And
- 54:29Speaker 1: then he goes, he's going to kill the boat and
- 54:31Speaker 1: she was like, oh my god, well swhere she had
- 54:33Speaker 1: Fanny Flatters, the strongest being she's ever seen. Yeah, yeah,
- 54:37Speaker 1: she said that after he kills the boat. Yeah. And
- 54:40Speaker 1: then the pooka came out at night and they trap
- 54:44Speaker 1: you in your own desire. She starts seeing her dad,
- 54:46Speaker 1: and then she saw like her sisters and then they
- 54:49Speaker 1: just turned back into just like a bow and then
- 54:51Speaker 1: it was nothing. And then now that's when Tamlin goes,
- 54:52Speaker 1: what are you doing? Use your brain? Use your brain?
- 54:56Speaker 1: You didiot? Obviously they're not here, and she's like, what
- 54:58Speaker 1: do you expect me to do? It was my dad
- 55:00Speaker 1: and my sisters that you stole me from. The Dad
- 55:03Speaker 1: doesn't have a need fuck me already, Jesus, all right,
- 55:07Speaker 1: all right, And ranking for that chapter. I was invested.
- 55:13Speaker 1: I'm saying that range of chapters is a seven.
- 55:16Speaker 2: Seven, I was gonna say six and a halfs Okay,
- 55:18Speaker 2: there you go. Yeah, because I'm just expecting better. That's
- 55:20Speaker 2: why I say seven.
- 55:20Speaker 1: I'm expecting a lot more to happen. Yeah, because of
- 55:22Speaker 1: all the comments on our videos and I was like,
- 55:24Speaker 1: this is so good. People keep saying you just wait
- 55:26Speaker 1: book two. So I'm like, maybe my expectations are so
- 55:29Speaker 1: high now because everyone's like this is going to be
- 55:30Speaker 1: so good. Someone said book two is going to change
- 55:32Speaker 1: our lives. Yeah, and I'm just like, when's it going
- 55:34Speaker 1: to happen? So I don't know. I'm into it. What
- 55:38Speaker 1: chapter are we reading next? Can we finish it? Do
- 55:44Speaker 1: you want to do ten again or more fifteen? What
- 55:49Speaker 1: if we do fifteen too many? We can go it's
- 55:52Speaker 1: wrap the chapter thirteen. What if we go to actually
- 55:54Speaker 1: up to fourteen? If we go to thirty, okay, yeah
- 55:57Speaker 1: that's seventeen, yeah chapter thirty, Yeah, yes, thirty. So so
- 56:00Speaker 1: you know what you need to do is actually definitely
- 56:02Speaker 1: do the no phone on the weekend and then just
- 56:05Speaker 1: read the Yeah, okay, everybody heard that chapter thirty. Chapter thirty.
- 56:11Speaker 1: You know what to do. Guys, It's time for dilemmas.
- 56:20Speaker 1: We've got a long episode for you today. We're feeling generous.
- 56:23Speaker 1: You're welcome. We're feeling generous. We're feeling good. All right,
- 56:26Speaker 1: we have two really good dilemmas to do. We're on overtime,
- 56:29Speaker 1: on over time, baby. If you want to submit a dilemma,
- 56:33Speaker 1: it is in the description of this episode, or it
- 56:36Speaker 1: is also in the Instagram bio on our Instagram. Which
- 56:40Speaker 1: is I think I noticed we have never said is
- 56:42Speaker 1: at Relatables podcast? If you want to go find it?
- 56:44Speaker 1: Oh no, honestly, gram it's just at Relatables.
- 56:46Speaker 2: We got relatables. I feel like people would figure it out.
- 56:48Speaker 2: It's a good point. But you can, Yeah, you can
- 56:50Speaker 2: submit a dilemma. They're all anonymous, all right, yeah, yeah, okay.
- 56:55Speaker 2: Me and my boyfriend have been together for three years.
- 56:58Speaker 2: We both live at home and see each other almost
- 57:00Speaker 2: every day. I'm the youngest in my family of three.
- 57:03Speaker 2: My boyfriend is the oldest of three. Sometimes we house
- 57:06Speaker 2: sit for friends and family and get the opportunity to
- 57:09Speaker 2: experience living with each other.
- 57:12Speaker 1: I have learnt a.
- 57:13Speaker 2: Lot of life skills growing up and following my sisters. However,
- 57:17Speaker 2: my boyfriend didn't have the same opportunity. Because I'm the youngest,
- 57:21Speaker 2: I have learned to cook, clean, and all the other
- 57:25Speaker 2: domestic tasks required to run a household. However, my boyfriend
- 57:30Speaker 2: didn't grow up having the same opportunity, so when we
- 57:32Speaker 2: house sit together, I'm the one having to show him
- 57:36Speaker 2: how to do certain things. I do find it frustrating
- 57:39Speaker 2: that he doesn't initiate any jobs to do around the house,
- 57:42Speaker 2: and I'm always the one asking him for help. I
- 57:46Speaker 2: have spoken to him about this and what I need
- 57:48Speaker 2: from him, and he listens to me and does help
- 57:51Speaker 2: when I need it. And I know I can sometimes
- 57:53Speaker 2: be too hard on him. He has improved so much
- 57:56Speaker 2: since we first started dating. But I'm just mindful that
- 57:59Speaker 2: when we do it eventually live together, he won't take
- 58:01Speaker 2: the initiative to two jobs around the house.
- 58:03Speaker 1: I would love some advice that word initiative. Some guys
- 58:10Speaker 1: don't have it, especially with like household chores and things
- 58:14Speaker 1: to do. This could I would say it's like textbook
- 58:17Speaker 1: fucking weaponizing competence. It's not that hard to do stuff.
- 58:24Speaker 2: If you had to clean dishes, you know how to
- 58:25Speaker 2: pick up a plate. You know how to put stuff
- 58:26Speaker 2: in the dirty launcher?
- 58:27Speaker 1: You just you just put it in the launch You
- 58:28Speaker 1: put the liquid in and then press maximum two buttons. Yeah,
- 58:31Speaker 1: but I think what's happening here is he's a good
- 58:33Speaker 1: guy and he can't see what he has to do,
- 58:36Speaker 1: Like he's not weaponizing his inconpetence and being like I
- 58:38Speaker 1: don't know what to do, babe, Like I don't care.
- 58:40Speaker 1: Like he's not saying I need to be taught. No, no, no,
- 58:43Speaker 1: he literally just doesn't know what to do, Like he's not.
- 58:46Speaker 1: Still that's insane. Yeah, it's definitely bad, and like what
- 58:49Speaker 1: we have to give her some tips to like help
- 58:51Speaker 1: like push him in the right direction. But I don't
- 58:53Speaker 1: think he's weaponizing his incompetence and being like you just
- 58:55Speaker 1: do it, you know what to do. Yeah. No, But
- 58:58Speaker 1: I don't think that's what weaponizing competence is. I think
- 59:01Speaker 1: weaponizing confidence is, like she is giving him, like this
- 59:05Speaker 1: girl quite patient. You got to think about it in
- 59:07Speaker 1: a way.
- 59:08Speaker 2: She's really patient because she's saying that she grew up
- 59:10Speaker 2: the youngest, so she's been shown a lot, and he
- 59:13Speaker 2: grew up the oldest, so he hasn't been shown as much.
- 59:16Speaker 1: But I don't know. I just think, why does that
- 59:18Speaker 1: mean anything? It does and doesn't to a certain extent.
- 59:23Speaker 1: I guess, well, he's obviously been in a householder. Everything's
- 59:27Speaker 1: been done for him, yeah, which is a lot of people.
- 59:31Speaker 1: And she has been in a household where she had
- 59:33Speaker 1: to grow up early. She probably just did a lot
- 59:35Speaker 1: of stuff on her own. Noah, Yeah, I think how
- 59:38Speaker 1: can you make him realize like he should take the
- 59:42Speaker 1: initiative himself about her saying anything? It's the answer to me.
- 59:46Speaker 2: I mean it sounds like she's definitely spoken to him
- 59:49Speaker 2: about it, but now he's only like doing shit when
- 59:52Speaker 2: like she's like, oh, come help me. Well that okay,
- 59:55Speaker 2: here we go. It is really bad if she has
- 59:58Speaker 2: asked him and he's not doing it. Yeah, seriously, just
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: fucking just you know.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: I'm trying to think though, like how would we help her.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: We have friends though, who like are completely incompetent, Yeah,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: and like I don't know how to help them, Like
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: they're around the house, they don't know how to do it. Stubbornness. Yeah,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: maybe it's stubborn. Yeah, but I don't think.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Anyone's incompetent when it comes to cleaning, because like, I
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: don't know.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Let's say, what does your boyfriend enjoy it? Does he
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: like cars?
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: If your boyfriend knows how to clean a car, he
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: sees it's dirty, he cleans the car, all right.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: True, a car is a dish on a bigger scale.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: It's easier to clean a dish. It's easier to fucking
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: mop a floor. Like, I don't know. I just think
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: it's more of just like it just kind of it's
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: like lack of caring. Yeah, I think that's what it is. Yeah,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: it doesn't care enough to do it or realize that
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: it matters to you, so he should do it. Yeah,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: that's what the problem. I think that problem is, Yeah,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: that it matters to you. And you've asked him, yeah once,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: maybe multiple times.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: Yeah, And you're saying that you're too hard on him
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: when you've probably asked him to do something and he
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: doesn't do it, so you ask him again and get
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: mad and then you think you're being too hard on him,
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: which is not right.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: No, I don't think you're being too hard on him
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: at all. Like, yeah, it's tough because it's your relationship.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: I've had a similar experience with friends, and with a
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: friend i'd just be like, fuck, you're like tough to
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: live with, Like fuck, you just don't know how to
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: look after yourself, Like I have a little dig at them,
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: which you obviously can't say to a part, but like,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: oh maybe you could. Maybe you need to be honest.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: But how do you Maybe he hasn't grown up. I
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: have a question how do you make him grow up?
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: So what she said to us was but I'm just
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: mindful that when we do eventually live together, he won't
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: take initiative to do jobs around the house. Just yeah,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: you need to just say that to him, true, just
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: say like I loved you, We've been together forever, I
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: love you. You're the best. But we've spoken about it before.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: The No, you're not doing jobs and stuff right, It's
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: obviously I'm not going to get you to do anything
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: at your own house because that's your house, and at
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: my house you're I hope he's respectful when I clean
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: it when I think it needs to be.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Clean when we're together. I've noticed whenever were house sitting that,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: especially when it's someone else's house.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I've noticed that you just don't initiate to
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: do anything when it needs to be done, and I'm
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: the one asking you to help all the time. So
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: I'm sorry but this might sound harsh. I just don't
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: see myself ever wanting to live with you if that's
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: what it's going to be like.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: And he needs that wake up call, I think he
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: needs to hear that. Yeah. Is this also a case
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: where like you're incompatible? I mean, yeah, this is his
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: response to this, And if he does respond in a
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: good way but then doesn't change, is maybe you aren't. Yeah,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: And if he responds in a good way and does change,
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: then you are compatible because he wants to put effort
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: in to stay with you. Yeah, it's just like he's
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: obviously been babied his whole which is a lot of dudes.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: It's we Usually the eldest doesn't get babied. It's usually
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: the youngest. Yeah, maybe he's one. Did they say he's
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: one of them? No, Yeah, he's the oldest of three. Nah,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: to be fair, because if there's a bit of an
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: age gap, they're like, it's a golden child and he
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: gets babied. They do love the oldest one. Yeah, it's
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: like the first one. It's so exciting. Let's do everything
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: for him, Like, did you get more like maybe babied
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: got way more baby than money.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: Yeah, my youngest siblings because Joanna and I quite close
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: about two years apart, and then my parents got divorced
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: in like seven years. My mum has two kids, but
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: the oldest one of those who is seven years younger
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: than me, and then same as my dad and my stepmom,
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: and so those two sets of kids have both been baby.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: Yeah, even like my stepmom even admitted to being like
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: a mad helicopter parent because I said, I think I'm
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: going to be one.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Well, I think we can talk about this. What about
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: in your house, Like, if your roommate would do something
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: that you would consider I don't know, tough word, but
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: incompetent or doesn't initiate things, Hew, would you bring it
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: up with them? We have a group chat called it's
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: called Henry's House. Yeah, and if like we will call
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: her out on things, or like Beth will call me out,
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: Like it's kind of a whole thing of if I
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: do something that Beth doesn't like in a common area,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: if it's in our bedroom, she would have talked to
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: me about it.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: But if it's in a common area, like Beth will
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: call it out. So then Maddie sees that she's calling
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: me out. So then Maddie also feels like she can
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: call me out. And I've called Mattie out on things,
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: and then she's called us out on things.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: Yeah, so it's just like it now.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: It's like a thing where we're all just like quite clean,
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: and if someone's lacking in something, you're bitterly where life's
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: like a I don't know, a little bit of food
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: in the sink or something like that. It's except people
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: get busy and they forget.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: But if it's like a common common occurrence that something's happening,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: we will say something in the group chat. Well, it's
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: building that safe environment where you can pull you or
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: pull someone up, where like I guess this girl just
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: has to build that safe environment if you're willing to
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: put in the work. I know it's annoying, but to
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: continually bring on this stuff, bring up this stuff with
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: your boyfriend, yeah, and just be like dude plates he's
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: like dude bins, Dude, you can't leave your shoes. There
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: must be so annoying. Yeah, but if you love him,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: like that's what you do.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: I don't know, though, is it I find that it's
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: I mean, maybe you do, or maybe maybe sometimes.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Actually I've literally not got no idea.
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: I think the best thing to do is just to
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: tell them, hey, feeling, I don't know if I ever
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: want to live with you because of this, and see
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: what he says.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Yeah, and then it's really up to him. How old
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: she said she was nineteen? She said no age, she
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: just said that we've been together for three years. We
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: both live. I'm assuming they're still pretty young. Maybe she's
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: she Yeah, she could be twenty or twenty three, and
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: hopefully it's like he's just young and hasn't had that
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: frontal low development. Yeah it is. Yeah, it's weird. It's good.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: I d say. You might be right about the babying thing. Yeah,
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: he has been. He doesn't know. Like I'm not giving
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: that as an excuse, but he literally, his brain cognitively
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: has never had to look at things that way because
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: his mum's always done it for him. That's saying mothers,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: and his mum's done everything for him his whole life. Heavy.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: Yeah, right now, you've got to fucking now you don't
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: be his mum, by the way, because he's probably a
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: really nice guy, don't see.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: Here's the thing. As well. Though It's like I also
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: see that argument that is he could be the best bloke, right,
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: but it's like there's still a butt you know what
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: I mean. It's like, if you're such a good fucking bloke,
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: then being asked to do something once, just realize that
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: you maybe haven't been taught and just actively thinkable to
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: do it.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: If you're just kind of like, oh yeah, I'm so sorry,
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: Like you know, I've never been taught this. It's like, okay, fair,
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: maybe you haven't maybe each you fucking once.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Maybe he hasn't had that realization that he's never been taught.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: Maybe I don't know. It's weird. You just need to
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: come to terms with the fact that maybe you are
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: not fucking perfect. Oh yeah, and just admit that you
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: need to. I don't know, honestly, weird analogy. But he's
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: like a dog. It's like a little puppy. He's got
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: to train him up because he hasn't been trained properly. Embarrassing,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: so good luck. Yeah, yeah, there's a few good takeaway
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: I think he can make it work, all right. Next dilemma. Hi,
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: thanks for the great podcast. You both are so fun
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: and amazing guys. Now to my dilemma. I sometimes feel
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: insecure or a little bit afraid to ask what I
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: want when I'm in bed with guys. Instead, I focus
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: on him making sure he is satisfied. I'm afraid that
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: he will be upset to get feedback, and I don't
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: want to hurt his feelings. So I guess my question
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: is Number one, do men find it sexy when a
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: woman tells them what she likes in bed or specifically
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: helps navigate them when it's down there? Number two? Do
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: men get upset if a woman does not come every
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: time doing sex? And number three what matters the most
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: during sex for you? Super curious to hear a male's perspective.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Thanks for your advice. Shit, Okay, what was the first question?
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: Do men find it sexy when a woman tells them
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: what they like in bed or specifically how to navigate
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: down there? Me? Personally, yes, yeah, I like it. Me personally,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: I love it. I can't answer for everyone. I know
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: a lot of girls like the guy to be the dom. Yeah,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: so sometimes they don't like to bring it up because
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: it's not as sexy and they don't get it turned
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: on as much. But I think it's better to be
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: comfortable and at the initial sexy time in the start,
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: tell him what you like so we know he's down
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: the track. Agreed, and it's better for you to be
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: comfortable and tell him, even if, like I don't know,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: it might hurt his feelings a little bit. I don't
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: know though, because it's not is it. He was just
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: kind of doing his best. It's also and now he's
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: being taught. Everyone's bodies are different and everyone likes different things,
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: different positions. Again, some it's fair enough to think so personally,
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: if I was told I'm doing this thing wrong, I'm
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: not the type to get upset about it, on the
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: type to say, oh, I'm sorry it yeah. Yeah. But
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: maybe there's guys that do get upset, like no one
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: fucking not. Yeah, I know what I'm doing exactly. Some
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: guys just have too much pride. I think it comes
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: back to it's better to know that you're comfortable and
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: enjoying yourself to tell.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: Him yeah, and if he gets all angry about it,
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: just well fuck off that I'm not gonna have sex
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: with you if you're just not gonna try and improve
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: it for me, Yeah, your way.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: Question two, do men get upset if a woman doesn't
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: come Every time doing sex, I get up set with myself. Yeah,
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: I don't get upset with her. Yeah no, no, no,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: I got upset with myself. Yeah. It sort of like
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: makes you doubt your ability. Well, you're just kind of like.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: But also what I do is just like or what
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: could have I done next time? Yeah? You gotta talk
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: about it, like yeah, like have a conversation afterwards, whether
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: you're going to get there and in the end or
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: brings it up, and like sometimes the girl might be like,
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: oh no, like it wasn't having it, didn't feel like
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: it all, or that she'll be like next time, do
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: this or go do that next time? So I think
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: it doesn't like it's worth a conversation. It doesn't hurt
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: my ego that much. It's definitely worth conversation. And what
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: matters the most doing sex from a male's perspective, ship
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: For me, it's that pound. I'm kidding, I'm kidding. No,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: for me, I the thing I really like about sex
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: is because I would I prefer like a love making.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: I'm not like a fuck. I don't mean you know that.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Have you seen that meme going around where it's like
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: I don't make love. I fuck, it's not me. I
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: make love. What matters most to me is actually connection.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: I really think that, like there's no other sensation in
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: the world, Like they might not even be like penetration
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: yet where you're just like kissing and completely wrapped around
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: each other and like you know it's about Yeah, you're
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: following each other like it's intimate kissing. You're not like
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: gone like ham and full hook up like it's sex. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: it's as sexy as it gets. And then like you
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: just feel this bond with this person like you've never
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: fel before. That's what really matters to me, because you
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: don't feel that experience anywhere else with anyone, agreed. And
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: then the sex and orgasmine is just like a benefit. Yeah,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: but I really enjoy that. Maybe the initial like penetration,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: the first like minute or two where you're just like
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: not really doing any movement, you're still kissing. Yeah, that's
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: like what really matters to me. The best thing is.
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: When because when it's different, when you I find like
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: when you love her and she loves you like you
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: just you have boyfriend dex so it feels massive. So
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: I'm just assuming this right, Yeah, and the best. The
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: best thing ever is when you put it in there
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: and they're like and they're like loving it, yeah, and
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: you're just like, yeah, I'm that guy.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. There definitely is a big
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: ego boost when you have that boyfriend dick. Yeah, but
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: I think it's definitely down to that connection. What about
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: if you're not in a relationship as a guy, that's
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: probably a very helpful tip. What matters for you was
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: a sex because that's like you don't really do that,
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: you're really doing it for the connection, Like if you're
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: just like getting off interesting. I think when you're single
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: and you know it's just going to be sex, could
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: be you could know it's only going to have a
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: one time or you could know that you're going to
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: do it a couple times with this person. I don't know. Yeah,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: I think it's kind of just fun. I was gonna
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: say it's good. I think it's like literally for a guy,
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: like like therapy, having sex is what is the win
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: for a guy? Like it's fun, it feels great. Yeah,
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: like I get to have sex, you get to finish,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: you get to kind of have you know, seven to
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: fifteen max minutes. Yeah, seven to fifteen minutes max. Of
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: like I guess it is connection.
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: You do get to have that sort of like nearly
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: relationship connection with someone and then.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: The benefit of also not having it having sex to
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: someone news Like I like the butterflies, even though it's
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: really really scary, but like when you initially start kissing
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: someone who sees someone naked for the first time, and
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: you're like, what the fuck I do? It's crazy, and
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: then like you get into it and they sort of
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: go away, and then you get all excited and it
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: like it's real fun and you start just fucking you
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: get more confident, Like, ah, that's what I like. That's
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: why I like When I was younger, I used to
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: be really really nervous about sex. It's like I don't
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: know what to do, Like I'm going to make a
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: fool of myself, like I'm too skinny, like my dick's
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: not big enough. But like the older I've gotten, the
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: more confident I got to myself is like that feeling
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: of nerves going into I get to have this weird
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: little dance with this girl for the next seven to
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: fifteen minutes. It's so much fun. Yeah, Like you can't
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: really make a fool of yourself, like when you're both
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: in it together and you're both just enjoying that time
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: and it's just fun. For it's really just fun. And
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: I yeah, no, I would say tell people what you want.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: It's sexy ast fuck yeah, and like own it just
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: like like even just like, do you mind if I
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: grab your head and then just put it where you
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: want it? Jack obviously consented, but like that's hot to me, Yeah,
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: if I because sometimes I'm like, I'm guessing down there.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: I've never not been guessing. I've never not been guessing. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: And it's the same thing for if you're getting if
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: I was getting joked off and she was doing it
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: really quickly, I've told him, I'm like, just sluck out, yeah,
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: will yeah, like weather the turtle, Yeah, I know, the
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: whare the taughtoise, not the hair. Yeah, just slow down,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: like definitely been comfortable and make it enjoyable for you.
